Takes ready, Josh Allen, you brought him up and Rob
g there was an ESPN poll or something like that
of players, right, so why don't you share with us
the findings of what their polls showed.

Sure, So ESPN surveyed one hundred and three anonymous players
to get their thoughts on all the quarterbacks around the NFL.
They asked them a series of questions, you know, who's
the goat, who's underrated? And when they asked who's overrated,
the guy receiving the most votes was the aforementioned Josh Allen.
And the reason throughout the entire response, both in this

ESPN article and actually yesterday in the Athletic piece for
quarterback tiers, anyone who is critical of Josh Allen all
points of the same thing.

Turnovers.

Josh Allen had twenty two of them last season, the
second most of the NFL behind Sam Howell. Since twenty
twenty one, his fifty nine turnovers ranked second to Trevor Lawrence,
and since the start of the two thousand and eight season,
Allen's one hundred and two turnovers lead the NFL.

There it is all right, well, look, since you you
were gonna trashing regardless, yep, I guess that gives you
a little fodder.

Huh yeah, absolutely, I got it written out right here anyway,
And yesterday when we talked about the tiers like Tier one,
I'm not saying Josh Allen's not good, not saying Josh
Allen had had a good career but overrated. I might
ride with that on my top ten list right now.
I might have him in night nine to eight ten
in that range simply because, let me explain, simply, because
of the turnovers one hundred and two since twenty eighteen.

Turnovers hurt your team. I don't care how big you
aren't how much you can run over linebackers and defensive
backs in the touchdown passes you throw.

They have literally now in the playoffs. I look this up.

And that's what Josh Allen defenders and Bill's mafia will
run to and show you those number. Fine, but one
hundred and two of them in the regular season are
costing you games where are costing you playoff positioning and
seeding to where you end up playing. And then also
last year at home everything in your hand, and you
let the Bill excuse me, you let the Chiefs come

in there and beating out there the Chiefs. I get it,
but you're at home and after the divisional game, I
keep pointing out to this he played tremendous that day.
That was not his loss. But since then the following year,
go look it up. Vegas had him favorite to win
the MVP. They had the Bill's favorite to win the
Super Bowl, and they can't get back to the AFC
Championship game. And people still keep crowning this guy and

all he is doing is get into wildcard and divisional
rounds and being sent home and he never gets any
he never gets any criticism for it's everybody else's fault
around him.

Now, going into this year, Chris all new receivers.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
We just heard the great befriends Tether, Kareem Jackson is
now big cut, Jordan Poyer is now down in Miami,
and you win, and Kean Coleman is gonna be your guy.
They tried with, they tried with different running backs. They
just won't. Run the football. Last year a lot better
than the previous three years. This year, yeah, well, last
year a lot better than the previous three years. The
previous three years their rankings were twenty four to twenty
six and twenty seven in the league. Running the football

a lot better last year. It needs to be better
this year. But we know Chris when it comes down
to it, they're gonna go away from the run. They're
gonna put it in the hands of Josh Allen, and
Josh Allen's gonna come up shore and turn the ball
over again. And we're still gonna say, oh, but he's
such a Tier one quarterback. Stop it. He missed his window.
He won't win the Super Bowl. Yes, he's missed this
his wind. Absolutely, he's missed this window. His wind was

some flaws, every single one. I can look at Lamar
and say he has to improve his passing and he
hasn't played well in the playoffs. I can look at

Joe Burrow and say, bro, you gotta stay healthy, cliche
one of the best abilities availability preach right, and you're
not there. Josh Allen, you're too reckless. You do have
to protect the football, bro Dak Prescott, you look like

just want to make sure I focus on that here
for a second. If you look at the team, it
started with Dabo leaving, okay, and then when you lose
your quarters. I'm a big guy in football. When core
they start to walk out the door. You may still

have talent there, but the production of the team or
the unit, whether it's your special team's coordinator, defense coordinator,
offense coordinator, is going to start to suffer. When you
need it most. They'll put up numbers, they'll put up
highlights and make it look good. But when it comes
down to pushing all your chips in the middle of
the table, that's where that coordinator.

Leslie Frazier. Now you've lost all of your receivers.

viewed as the goat and not in a good way,

know Detroit has been a bad organization, yes, till recently,
but those teams have some players, Calvin Johnson, you mentioned them,

the defense in Dominican Sue. They had some other nice
players and he could not get them over the hump.
I get that he throws a pretty ball and all that,
and you mentioned the stats and all that, but I
just look, maybe not even maybe had he been linked
up with a Sean McVay and the team like the

Rams early in his career, he's probably a no doubt
Hall of Famer.

Yeah, no, I think he's a Hall just with two
Pro Bowls.

Man, that's gonna be That's gonna be tough. Those are
basically his only accolades. He was a Comeback Player of
the Year. Obviously he's won the Super Bowl, But I
mean the accolades are missing, That's what I'm saying.

But the accolades may be missing, but the totality of
his numbers or not, he is eleventh all time and touchdowns.

I mean, we're in an era. I get that numbers matter.
I would never say numbers don't matter, but you also
realize we're in an era where the top ten quarterback
statistically are all gonna be from the modern era because
they throw the football more, the rules are different.

Tom Brady, there's no way in his late or mid
early and mid forties he was as good as he
was in his thirties when he was winning that second
run of Super Bowls.

and passing touchdowns the list, Tom Brady Hall of Famer,

Hall of Famer, Roethlisberg or Hall of Famer, Philip Rivers
Hall of Famer, Dan Marino an Rockers. Rivers will see Yeah,
I think I think I thinks Hall of Famer.

of players, right, so why don't you share with us
the findings of what their polls showed.

Sure, So ESPN surveyed one hundred and three anonymous players
to get their thoughts on all the quarterbacks around the NFL.
They asked them a series of questions, you know, who's
the goat, who's underrated? And when they asked who's overrated,
the guy receiving the most votes was the aforementioned Josh Allen.
And the reason throughout the entire response, both in this
(02:50):
ESPN article and actually yesterday in the Athletic piece for
quarterback tiers, anyone who is critical of Josh Allen all
points of the same thing.

Turnovers.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
Josh Allen had twenty two of them last season, the
second most of the NFL behind Sam Howell. Since twenty
twenty one, his fifty nine turnovers ranked second to Trevor Lawrence,
and since the start of the two thousand and eight season,
Allen's one hundred and two turnovers lead the NFL.

There it is all right, well, look, since you you
were gonna trashing regardless, yep, I guess that gives you
a little fodder.

aren't how much you can run over linebackers and defensive
backs in the touchdown passes you throw.

And that's what Josh Allen defenders and Bill's mafia will
run to and show you those number. Fine, but one
hundred and two of them in the regular season are
costing you games where are costing you playoff positioning and
seeding to where you end up playing. And then also
last year at home everything in your hand, and you
let the Bill excuse me, you let the Chiefs come

in there and beating out there the Chiefs. I get it,
but you're at home and after the divisional game, I
keep pointing out to this he played tremendous that day.
That was not his loss. But since then the following year,
go look it up. Vegas had him favorite to win
the MVP. They had the Bill's favorite to win the
Super Bowl, and they can't get back to the AFC
Championship game. And people still keep crowning this guy and

all he is doing is get into wildcard and divisional
rounds and being sent home and he never gets any
he never gets any criticism for it's everybody else's fault
around him.

Now, going into this year, Chris all new receivers.

We just heard the great befriends Tether, Kareem Jackson is
now big cut, Jordan Poyer is now down in Miami,
and you win, and Kean Coleman is gonna be your guy.
They tried with, they tried with different running backs. They
just won't. Run the football. Last year a lot better
than the previous three years. This year, yeah, well, last
year a lot better than the previous three years. The
previous three years their rankings were twenty four to twenty
six and twenty seven in the league. Running the football

a lot better last year. It needs to be better
this year. But we know Chris when it comes down
to it, they're gonna go away from the run. They're
gonna put it in the hands of Josh Allen, and
Josh Allen's gonna come up shore and turn the ball
over again. And we're still gonna say, oh, but he's
such a Tier one quarterback. Stop it. He missed his window.
He won't win the Super Bowl. Yes, he's missed this
his wind. Absolutely, he's missed this window. His wind was

Pro Bowl is a popularity contest where people vote in
and then when they go, they don't even play. I mean,

it's like flag football. Stafford is easily I think, a
first ballot Hall of Famer, even if he doesn't win
another ring.

Bowl is terrible, but it is an honor and it
is something that people use to measure a player's effectiveness.
You know, Stafford has never been in All Pro and
I get it, that's hard to do. Brady was only
a three time first team All Pro. So but he's

got no accolades. There's no MVPs, no two Pro Bowls.
You know, he's got numbers, and he's got the one
Super Bowl. I'm not saying he's not gonna get in
the Hall of Fame. I'm just saying it's not sure fire,
and it's certainly not first ballot.
