talking about and I'm still saying he will get signed

Jones does business. It just is, and I don't I'm
not guaranteeing it. I could be wrong, but judging by
the way he's done things in the past, he's gonna
sign Dak Prescott before Sunday. It might be I'm saying
even tomorrow. It's interesting, I didn't see Dak Rogie. Did

you see any video of Dak's interviews today? Because you know,
Matt Moseley said he was chipper and you had a
better demeanor and seemed like something might get done.

But anyway, Brandon Cooks, the number two receiver on the Cowboys,
the much maligned number two receiver, I might add, he
had this to say about those that want to be
critical of Dak.

I mean, it's last name, it's it's unbelievable. I mean,
the guy shows up every yr year in the year
out putting up numbers, leading his team. He can't do
it all about himself, right. You know a lot of
those great quarterbacks that I've been with, Tom and Drew,
they don't get me wrong, in one of all the games,
won a lot.

Of Super Bowls.

But they had a lot of help around them as well, right,
And so US players around them also got to step up.
And so when we hear that disrespect, you know, I
take that personally and ask his teammates we should take
that personally because at the end of the day, somebody
got to be would help him get over that hump.

So we're gonna win one, Chris.

Not only is it not blasphemy, it's the gospel. And
there's plenty, plenty of evidence to point why people questioned
Dak Prescott.

He had one bad playoff game or something, and the
sample size is so small and it's not fair. Come on,
come on, and some bad games Chris at home, Green
Bay rolled over them. Dak contributed to it. He turned
the ball over, He put the defense in bad spots.
What are you not watching? You remember a couple of

years ago against the forty nine ers at home, Chris,
their offense.

I don't think it's unfair. When you have a track
record and it's a good sample, people have a right

quarterbacks than Dak Prescott are getting criticized. We just thought
Lamar Jackson, two time MVP, Mark Jackson, a unanimous MVP,
has been to the AFC Championship Game, which you can't
say in the NFC, and he's getting criticized.

Peyton Manning, who changed the game the way.

The position is played as a quarterback, won two MVPs
before winning his first Super Bowl, And you said it.

Rob was criticized, was criticized like anybody else. Michael Jordan
in those early years, Chris, those first seven years.

So I'm just saying, when you start looking at this,

They play last year, people didn't want to have this
revisionist history.

Since claiming that franchise last Super Bowl Chris the nineteen
ninety five season, Dallas has an advanced past the divisional round,
where it is ow and seven, the worst in the
NFL during that span. That's what I was talking about.
The Jerry Jones and I mean, yeah, Jerry Jones and
where they are. But during the Super Bowl ear since
nineteen sixty seven, there have been just five quarterbacks who

have played in at least three Division New Round games Chris,
without winning at least one. This is per the NFL research.
Two of those three quarterbacks, you ready, Tony Romo owing
three and Dak Prescott owing three. And Tony Romo's career
was the same, Chris. They couldn't get over the hump.

I remember he had great, some great regular seasons.

Yep, he did, he really did. It was very similar,
to be honest, very similar. Tony Romo was the star.
Tony was a celebrity.

but he was right below him.

It's a team game, but again, you help put your
team in the bad positions that it was in that
helped it lose. And look, there's two schools of thought.
There's if you don't pay Dak, where do you go?

You're you're risking you're playing Russian Roulette with your quarterback position. Right,
you might go another five ten years without getting a
franchise quarterback.

All that, he is good enough to get you twelve

probably happened a couple of years ago. I think it
was like a right before the Thanksgiving holiday, and I

think the topic was on like hey, you know, shit,
an NFL twitch up the Thanksgiving games with teams, and
I think Rob Win first his taking. You know, Rob
is a is you know, he has roots in the
trud you know, from where he used to work and live.
And Rob was like, oh, you know, with the uh,
it's a tradition. You got to keeping it with the
de trud lines. You know, the fans deserve it. You know,

it's a hard work and blue college city, you know,
and they just have so much soul. And then you know,
you gave a real good take. You know, the producers
gave you the applause, and then of course at last
Chris Win and christ straight destryed you with your takes.
He was like, nah, you know they've been trash for
all these years. There's been a disappointment for the fans

of America. They should not have to waste their time
on faith and giving and watch it. And then from
that moment they resonated with me. I was like, man,
this is a show called the Eye of Couple, and
that was my finest moment right there.

with the best coaches. Think about it. His first couple
of years, Mike McCarthy got.

A Super Bowl CD. Lambs one of the best receivers
in the league. The defense is one of the best.
Mie Elliott when he was one of the best.

I mean, stop it, stop it, cry me a river,

every but stop. You know that we don't. We don't.
We're not gonna let that. We're not gonna let that.
That's why you love the show.

Yeah, he's a big time player and people expect big
time stuff from him.

It's just that simple.

We just brought up Lamar Jackson and you know, uh,

And if he wins the big one, he'll be praised,

that if everybody everything's cool and there's no big deal
or whatever, people wouldn't be into it like it is
like this, right, it matters to people, Right, That's what

Is that type of passion. And we say, we said
this several times. It's that type of passion that you know,
creates an environment and atmosphere where guys can make.

If people didn't care that you, that money wouldn't be
out there, because, make no mistake, the fans by buying
the merchandise, by buying the tickets, by all the things
that fans do to you support the game, that they

they the fans is TV money, But who's watching the games, Chris,
it's the fans.

If the fans don't watch, they're not getting You're not
getting all that TV money.

that's the difference. What don't you understand? It is about
the fans. It is about the buying up the merchant,

And if they want to be critical of you, obviously
within reasons. Right, as long as it's not because you're

You know, like nothing, nothing at all, just looked at
each other, sharing the presence basically.

It's actually incredible to see how much of a autopilot's
roboticness we have to just talk to communicate, to eat,
to move, and how much your mind wants to do
things when it's doing nothing. It's quite incredible. And it's
like I'd say, the first day is the hardest, but
after you get through it and you sit there and
you just kind of resonate with yourself and you're disconnected
from social media anything like literally nothing, not even talking,

you start to have more of an innerstanding of like
what it means to be just at peace and presence.
So I highly recommend people try to do a day,
if not a night.

disappointed in the game plan and how they played in

had some bad penalties too, to be quite honest.

he's poised to have another big year. I think their
receiving corps terrific. They added Josh Jacobs, their defense. They
were the youngest team to make the playoffs since nineteen
seventy and so I think they're going to improve everywhere
because these young players are gonna be a little bit
better and so.

That's why I like them. I do like the Lions.

I think the top three teams in NFC are the Packers, Lions,
and forty nine Ers. So yeah, I look the Lions.
I wouldn't be surprised if they win the NFC. They

right there. I actually picked the the Packers and the
Lions in the NFC championship game, so I've got the

much anti Lions. It's just, you know, I think it's
gonna be the Packers this year.

But they had a lot of help around them as well, right,

nineteen sixty seven, there have been just five quarterbacks who

three and Dak Prescott owing three. And Tony Romo's career

you start to have more of an innerstanding of like
what it means to be just at peace and presence.

Their defense, you know, their defense was good, but look,
the Ravens out gained them. The Ravens average almost six
yards per play, average five and a half yards per carry.
They just hurt themselves with some self inflicted wounds. They
had eight penalties, several of them unnecessary, and tonight they've

had some bad penalties too, to be quite honest.

Yeah, right now, they Chris, they gotta button some things up.

of a surprise.

So the Packers is that's an anti Lions pick. Right,
that's got because that's what it feels like to me.
Can you just explaining your packers picks?
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Yeah, I just think that the you know, first of all,
they are a lot of surprises.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
You know what I mean, every year or a lot
of years.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
The Chiefs are never really a surprise at this point,
but there are a lot of surprises. I mean, they,
speaking of Baltimore, just keeps killing themselves with these It's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
They're moving the ball but.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Legal for may all right, But anyway, No, I first
of all, I really like Jordan Love and you know,
i've even before he became the starter when he played
I think it was against the Eagles when Aaron Rodgers
was still there, I just thought he looked so much
more mature, more poised that he had earlier. And last year,
(36:46):
of course, he had a terrific season, so I think
he's poised to have another big year. I think their
receiving corps terrific. They added Josh Jacobs, their defense. They
were the youngest team to make the playoffs since nineteen
seventy and so I think they're going to improve everywhere
because these young players are gonna be a little bit
better and so.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
That's why I like them. I do like the Lions.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
I think the top three teams in NFC are the Packers, Lions,
and forty nine Ers. So yeah, I look the Lions.
I wouldn't be surprised if they win the NFC. They
got a very good team. I think they're gonna be
right there. I actually picked the the Packers and the
Lions in the NFC championship game, so I've got the
(37:31):
Packers beating them. But yeah, so it wasn't really so
much anti Lions. It's just, you know, I think it's
gonna be the Packers this year.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
And I just have it's hard for me, almost impossible
for me to pick the forty nine ers again in
the NFC. And I don't like the Lions. I think
they blew a golden opportunity of last year. Just not
that they're not gonna make the playoffs, will be a
good team, I just think they're not gonna get back
there to do that. And I'm gonna go with my

default pick, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
Now, look, they are incredibly talented. I'm just saying this,
but it's my default pick for those reasons, you know
what I mean. Like forty nine. You know what I'm saying,
The forty nine Ers and the Lions or should be
are ahead of the Eagles. But I'm gonna use the
Eagles as the Eagles got talent. The only question is
is Hurt's gonna return to form. But I mean they

got our probably the best receiving cord in the league.

You know, they answered their problems on defense with the
draft and some other moves. So all right, we are
