Speaker 4 (01:01):
Tyser's Tower of Trivia coming up. You do not want
to miss that. It's an AFC Quarterbacks edition, Chris. That
should be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
It's one of your last two Tyser's Tower. I mean,
I'm starting to count down everything.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I mean, here we go. I know, man, it's getting
it's getting sad. Look how fast. This week went by.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
We're on a Thursday already, right, tomorrow's Friday, and man, yep,
but that's how the six years went.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
It really did look how fast?
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yeah, it was a great six years man, Oh, no
doubt about it. And you guys got a bright future
in front of you and kelvin Washington. But uh, this
is you know, you start to think, and especially Rob
when you see the comments. You know, people text you,
people call you, people called into the show obviously, and
(01:51):
when you're in it, you're not You're probably not you know,
you know, thinking about or appreciating the you know, the
you're bringing to people's lives and how much you might
mean that some people are.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
What you've created.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
But you start realizing it when you see the comments
and stuff that people are making.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
I totally agree, because I don't think when you're in it, Christian,
you don't do it for you're not thinking about that.
You're just doing a radio show and you don't realize
how much you touch people. And for a lot of
people who rode with us during the pandemic, like people
talked about that because you got me through it, you
know what I mean, Like we were just doing our job.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Right, right, right, No, there's no question about it. All right, Well,
let's keep doing our job. Dak Press Scott, Oh wow,
I'm way behind. Rob g just whispered something in my hear.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Worthy just ran in a touchdown. Worthy.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Yeah, one touchdown ain't gonna be enough. Wow, what do
you mean, Blaze, I mean from the from the Ravens.
So I just saw the touchdown. But I'm saying one
touchdown from the Ravens won't be enough. This might be
a high scoring one. Oh no, the first drive that
(03:13):
was it. No, no, no, I knew that wasn't gonna
be enough. I'm just saying, like I didn't expect. I
honestly did not expect the Chiefs to come right down
and score in five plays or six plays or whatever
it took. So good answer by the Chiefs. Yeah, seven off,
all right. But anyway, Dak Prescott, right, we were just
talking about and I'm still saying he will get signed
(03:38):
before the season begins. This is just the way Jerry
Jones does business. It just is, and I don't I'm
not guaranteeing it. I could be wrong, but judging by
the way he's done things in the past, he's gonna
sign Dak Prescott before Sunday. It might be I'm saying
even tomorrow. It's interesting, I didn't see Dak Rogie. Did
(04:02):
you see any video of Dak's interviews today? Because you know,
Matt Moseley said he was chipper and you had a
better demeanor and seemed like something might get done.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
So you know, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
But anyway, Brandon Cooks, the number two receiver on the Cowboys,
the much maligned number two receiver, I might add, he
had this to say about those that want to be
critical of Dak.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
I mean, it's last name, it's it's unbelievable. I mean,
the guy shows up every yr year in the year
out putting up numbers, leading his team. He can't do
it all about himself, right. You know a lot of
those great quarterbacks that I've been with, Tom and Drew,
they don't get me wrong, in one of all the games,
won a lot.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Of Super Bowls.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
But they had a lot of help around them as well, right,
And so US players around them also got to step up.
And so when we hear that disrespect, you know, I
take that personally and ask his teammates we should take
that personally because at the end of the day, somebody
got to be would help him get over that hump.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
So we're gonna win one, Chris.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Not only is it not blasphemy, it's the gospel. And
there's plenty, plenty of evidence to point why people questioned
Dak Prescott.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
It ain't like Chris.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
He had one bad playoff game or something, and the
sample size is so small and it's not fair. Come on,
come on, and some bad games Chris at home, Green
Bay rolled over them. Dak contributed to it. He turned
the ball over, He put the defense in bad spots.
What are you not watching? You remember a couple of
(05:45):
years ago against the forty nine ers at home, Chris,
their offense.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Was putrid, Dak played poorly. Nobody.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
I don't think it's unfair. When you have a track
record and it's a good sample, people have a right
to look at you the same way, Chris.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
They used to do it with Peyton Manning.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
He's a great regular season quarterback until he started to win,
That's what they said, because it's postseasons weren't good enough,
and people have a right if you have enough sample
sized Chris, to look at you in that light. I
don't think that anybody's done anything that is like disrespectful
(06:32):
or oh, I can't believe that they don't think they
criticized Dak or they don't think he's a great quarterback.
I'm sorry, there's enough out there that I think people
can use it against him.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
No, you're right on the money.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
And Brandon Cooks, he's standing up for a teammate.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
We get it, right, We understand it as his quarterback.
He needs his quarterback, right, so you know, he can't
very well feel that way.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Or he may just be saying what's politically correct.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
But either way, did Trent McDuffie get hurt?
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Looks like, yeah, I'm not sure, but uh but no,
you're you're right on the money.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Rob.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
First of all, Dak has gotten to the level he
has been a good regular season quarterback.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Last year he was second in the MVP voting.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
He's reached the level where you're going to get criticized
if you don't produce in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Rob, what were we saying about Lamar Jackson?
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Right every until he wins the Super Bowl, people are
gonna be like, he can't.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
That's what better quarterbacks with.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
This is what I say to Brandon Cooks, much better
quarterbacks than Dak Prescott are getting criticized. We just thought
Lamar Jackson, two time MVP, Mark Jackson, a unanimous MVP,
has been to the AFC Championship Game, which you can't
say in the NFC, and he's getting criticized.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Peyton Manning, who changed the game the way.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
The position is played as a quarterback, won two MVPs
before winning his first Super Bowl, And you said it.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Rob was criticized, was criticized like anybody else. Michael Jordan
in those early years, Chris, those first seven years.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Oh he's a great player.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
He don't make anybody better and he's a great player,
but I don't.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Know if he'll ever win. Magic and Larry. That's what
they said.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Can you imagine people said that that they didn't think
Michael Jordan was gonna win.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Come on, Chris, we could go back, go back and
read it. Oh he's exciting, his shoes.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Look good, yep, all that he makes good come fly
with me videos, good commercials.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
But he can't win.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
They not he not Bird, They said all of that.
So you're in good company.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Dak. Let me give you some numbers.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Dak against Rookie Brock Party Chris twenty three for thirty
seven two hundred and six yards, one touchdown, two interceptions,
Dak at home versus the forty nine ers and Jimmy
g twenty three for forty three two point fifty four
to one touchdown, one interception, took five sacks.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
So I'm just saying, when you start looking at this,
and since.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
They play last year, people didn't want to have this
revisionist history.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
But oh it was the defense. And the defense wasn't good.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Either, but Dak wasn't helping him at all. Two interceptions
in the first half, Rob what a pick six in
a row? Come on, what do we and you're not scoring?
And now you say this about Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I get it. Your defense did not hold up and
you know, stop the.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Opposing team, but you weren't scoring either, Right, so.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
It goes both ways.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
We were not exonerating the but we're not exonerating Dak either.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
And here it is.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Since claiming that franchise last Super Bowl Chris the nineteen
ninety five season, Dallas has an advanced past the divisional round,
where it is ow and seven, the worst in the
NFL during that span. That's what I was talking about.
The Jerry Jones and I mean, yeah, Jerry Jones and
where they are. But during the Super Bowl ear since
nineteen sixty seven, there have been just five quarterbacks who
(10:27):
have played in at least three Division New Round games Chris,
without winning at least one. This is per the NFL research.
Two of those three quarterbacks, you ready, Tony Romo owing
three and Dak Prescott owing three. And Tony Romo's career
was the same, Chris. They couldn't get over the hump.
(10:48):
I remember he had great, some great regular seasons.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yep, he did, he really did. It was very similar,
to be honest, very similar. Tony Romo was the star.
Tony was a celebrity.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
He wasn't, like, you know, in that upper crust of quarterbacks,
but he was right below him.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
And that's Dak. That's Dak. And so no, it is it's.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Far from blasphemy for people to be critical of Dak Prescott.
Rob you said, you lost to Jimmy g you lost
to Brock Perdy, you lost to Jordan Love.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Dudes with no playoff experience, right, and I get it.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
It's a team game, but again, you help put your
team in the bad positions that it was in that
helped it lose. And look, there's two schools of thought.
There's if you don't pay Dak, where do you go?
(11:51):
You're you're risking you're playing Russian Roulette with your quarterback position. Right,
you might go another five ten years without getting a
franchise quarterback.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
So even if Dak isn't you know.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
All that, he is good enough to get you twelve
wins and into the tournament.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
And then there's the other school.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
That thought we talked about Rob, where you know what,
you should just move on. You should just move on
because he can't win you a Super Bowl, and so
it'll be interesting.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
It's a huge year.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
I do think that, Like I said, I really still
think that there's a great chance.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
That they pay Dak Prescott tomorrow. But we'll see.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
We'll see, all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on
a Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three
sixty nine.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
You'll turn the way in.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
Is Dak Prescott criticized too much? Should people call off
the dogs because he's really, really, really good? Your thoughts next,

Of Dak Prescott, fair or blasphemous? Your thoughts? Next?
Speaker 1 (14:25):
All right, let's kick it off with Henry in Maryland.
You're on they couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
What's up, Henry?
Speaker 8 (14:32):
Hey, how y'all doing doing great? Chris Ron Parker Man.
You know, I'm a first time call, a long time listener.
And before I give my you know, my take about
best Prescott, you know, I just want to just share
one of my finals. The finest moment with y'all. Okay,
probably happened a couple of years ago. I think it
was like a right before the Thanksgiving holiday, and I
(14:52):
think the topic was on like hey, you know, shit,
an NFL twitch up the Thanksgiving games with teams, and
I think Rob Win first his taking. You know, Rob
is a is you know, he has roots in the
trud you know, from where he used to work and live.
And Rob was like, oh, you know, with the uh,
it's a tradition. You got to keeping it with the
de trud lines. You know, the fans deserve it. You know,
(15:15):
it's a hard work and blue college city, you know,
and they just have so much soul. And then you know,
you gave a real good take. You know, the producers
gave you the applause, and then of course at last
Chris Win and christ straight destryed you with your takes.
He was like, nah, you know they've been trash for
all these years. There's been a disappointment for the fans
(15:35):
of America. They should not have to waste their time
on faith and giving and watch it. And then from
that moment they resonated with me. I was like, man,
this is a show called the Eye of Couple, and
that was my finest moment right there.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
My man, well, we appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Yes, we we went at it and we will for
the next week.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
But that's what made the hour couple. That's right, and
every new show listen as well. The Couple's not going.
Speaker 8 (16:02):
To change, thank you, thank you. But yeah, So my
quick take on that Prescott, I think it is a blasphemers.
I think it is unfair. It sounds the way he
get criticized because you just can't put all the blame
on him. It's not like he's a superstar quarterback, Like
he's not on the same levels as like well, he's about.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
To get paid.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
He gets paid like he's about to get sixty million dollars.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
You say, he's not what kind of quarterback? And when
he got his forty that was near the top of
the way.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Didn't he get a sixty million dollars signing bonus or
something crazy?
Speaker 9 (16:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
I mean, and he is a celebrity.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I mean, if it's it might be because he's with
the Cowboys, but he is a celebrity on every commercial.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah, no question.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
And they and if they thought they waited too late
to pay him.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Well they that's what they do. That's what they do Chris.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
And I said that a long time ago when when
Chris the money was like twenty six million.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, we thought he should have been.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
People wondering should they give him twenty eight Is he work?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
All right? We're like, dude, do it now. Yeah. That's
the thing.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
If you got a guy you're gonna keep, man, you
you're better off paying him sooner rather than later.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
But my whole thing is, I just feel like with
all the pressure on him, they're not feeling they don't
have the best support system. They don't always hire him
with the best coaches. Think about it. His first couple
of years, Mike McCarthy got.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
A Super Bowl CD. Lambs one of the best receivers
in the league. The defense is one of the best.
Mie Elliott when he was one of the best.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I mean, stop it, stop it, cry me a river,
can't kill no thanks having excuse me. We love you
every but stop. You know that we don't. We don't.
We're not gonna let that. We're not gonna let that.
That's why you love the show.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Yeah, he's a big time player and people expect big
time stuff from him.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
It's just that simple.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
We just brought up Lamar Jackson and you know, uh,
Peyton Manning in the past.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
You know guys that were just quite frankly better.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Than Dak and they get criticized until you win the
big one.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
And if he wins the big one, he'll be praised,
he'll be set.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
But that's why. But that's why it's all matters. Though
don't doesn't it. That's why it's all matters, is Chris
that if everybody everything's cool and there's no big deal
or whatever, people wouldn't be into it like it is
like this, right, it matters to people, Right, That's what
that's that's the whole thing it does.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Is that type of passion. And we say, we said
this several times. It's that type of passion that you know,
creates an environment and atmosphere where guys can make.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Sixty million dollars, no doubt about it.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
If people didn't care that you, that money wouldn't be
out there, because, make no mistake, the fans by buying
the merchandise, by buying the tickets, by all the things
that fans do to you support the game, that they
pay the bills.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
No, whether people want to believe like they go, well,
they the fans is TV money, But who's watching the games, Chris,
it's the fans.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
If the fans don't watch, they're not getting You're not
getting all that TV money.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Hello w NBA, Chris before this year, right, like like
that's the difference. What don't you understand? It is about
the fans. It is about the buying up the merchant,
going to the ballparking, buying tickets and paying one hundred
dollars to park at a RAMS game.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Stop it. You're totally right, totally right.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
And if they want to be critical of you, obviously
within reasons. Right, as long as it's not because you're
not said liver burst or racist.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
I'm fine with him. Bow your head off.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Thank you, thank you. So there's no way it's it's
blasphemos or dak all right, Uh, it is the Eye Couple.
You know what's coming next. Tischer's Tower of Trivia. AFC
Quarterbacks Edition. Chiefs just went up ten to seven with
the field goal. But that was actually that was a
big stop by Baltimore. Baltimore year Baltimore fumbled at the
(20:14):
bumble at the ten's he's.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Got it was. I don't think it was quite the ten.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
It was close in the red zone, and he got
to do a better job obviously keeping that. Remembery fumbled
last year in that AFC Championship game if I remember correctly,
and so he's gabled.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Got the details. Yeah, I don't know what yard line
that was.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
But be sure to catch live editions of The Odd
Couple with Chris Brusso and Rob Parker weekdays at seven

Speaker 10 (21:17):
My guys, I finally have come back from my brigade
across this beautiful country. I have went on my darkness retreat.
I have spoken no words for two days. Streets. I
was completely naked for one whole day. I did it
a mom, I'm back finally, baby, What do.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
You mean do you want to know my son? The
darkness retreat I did, Chris, I did naked all day?
Oh all day? Cook? Is that sat outside in darkness? No,
that was just my own personal want to do. So
you know that was that was a lot of fun.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
So you were just out butt naked like like, but
in a secluded situation.
Speaker 10 (21:48):
It's like the neighbors couldn't see it. No, no, nobody
could see it. Just me and my lady. It was
a good time.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Because one of the neighbors looked outside and they saw you.
Oh no, and they thought you were on crack.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Oh that was yeah, that's that's that's possible.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
So I want to hear about the Darkness Retreat. Yes,
I would you like to know how many days were
you in there?
Speaker 10 (22:07):
Three? And so it's just you or you and your girls,
me and the lady. But we did not talk or
any of that stuff the whole time too.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
So y'all were in the same room, yes, and you
did not talk to each other with no that was
the challenge. That's beautiful. Can't could you get physical?
Speaker 10 (22:22):
You know, like nothing, nothing at all, just looked at
each other, sharing the presence basically.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
So how'd you like it?
Speaker 10 (22:28):
It's actually incredible to see how much of a autopilot's
roboticness we have to just talk to communicate, to eat,
to move, and how much your mind wants to do
things when it's doing nothing. It's quite incredible. And it's
like I'd say, the first day is the hardest, but
after you get through it and you sit there and
you just kind of resonate with yourself and you're disconnected
from social media anything like literally nothing, not even talking,
(22:51):
you start to have more of an innerstanding of like
what it means to be just at peace and presence.
So I highly recommend people try to do a day,
if not a night.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
All right, they're non man, thank you, j Alex Tyshan.
All right, So let's let's get to it, all.
Speaker 9 (23:06):
Right, guys. In honor of tonight's big showtout team Lamar,
Jackson and Patrick, two of the best quarterbacks in the
AFC and the NFL altogether. All of these questions are
AFC quarterback theme flipped the coin during the update, Chris
Brussard gets question number.

Watson has the only fully guaranteed deal in the NFL

since he played for the blank Texans.
Speaker 10 (24:28):

words on it.
Speaker 10 (25:22):
Thank you.
Speaker 9 (25:24):
Level number three all tied up tennipiece the AFC Quarterback
Edition ty Shirts Tower at Trivia Chris. The Patriots drafted

isn't aw because you need to put something.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
You know what I would say. I would hold up
a sign like Rob.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
I would have said, showers, April showers.
Speaker 10 (26:08):
You take it to May because he said April, you know, yeah, showers.
I don't know if I would have said April to
show April showers, bring May flowers. Yeah, okay, it's a
lot to say. Yeah, you know you're keeping me the
long ones, Rob, what's going on here?
Speaker 1 (26:26):

know I'm sixty. I think it's a late life crisis.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah. Well, you you were working when you were six,
you probably had a mid like like twenty. That's probably right,
that's right.
Speaker 9 (26:44):
All right, we go level number four, back to Rob Parker.
Speaker 10 (26:47):
Number four.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
Rob Bill's quarterback, Josh Blank, was recently voted by his
peers as the most overrated QB in the week. What
he's the Rob Parker of quarterback?
Speaker 10 (26:59):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Wow? Did Rob Parker you voted that?
Speaker 5 (27:03):

Speaker 10 (27:03):
I think only Steve Steve actually Steve Steve Steve blaming Finley.
We love Steve.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
All right, Hey, Alex, are you ready? I'm so ready?
All right?
Speaker 10 (27:19):
Are you ready?
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Yeah? I'm ready. I'm trying to Okay, are we going
to work? When everybody thinks not ready?
Speaker 10 (27:23):
How are you going to work? Robs? You when everything's
youre overrated? Though, it's kind of weird.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
I know that is.
Speaker 9 (27:27):
I've heard underrated? Who's properly rated? That's the question?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
We are? Rob?
Speaker 7 (27:37):
I do?
Speaker 10 (27:38):
Rob? I cannot see that sign? Hold up a little higher?
Here we go, all right, hand motion, wrench, rich.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Wrench? Are you doing? Alan wrench? You're that?
Speaker 10 (27:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Rob? The hand motions, y'all? Audience? Are you doing? Rob
is using? I don't have anything. I don't have any signs?
Speaker 4 (28:05):
He didn't say, he said, are you doing? Meaning you're
doing something?
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Er control of your league, Chris?
Speaker 9 (28:16):
Again, we are not penalized the Packers for playing commissioner
in the in the league. Chris, you got plenty of money,
come down to l a exactly go ahead to head
with Robbins. You some of that first things first month,
send send Alex a link to the zoom and say
I want to be able to see you while.
Speaker 10 (28:36):
We got perfect.
Speaker 9 (28:38):
Unfreaking belief level number five back to uh, Christmas are
perfect game. After Joe Burrow be Patrick mahomes in Kansas
City in the playoffs, nice Bengals fans started to call
the Chiefs home stadium Burrow blank.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Huh Burrow any day now, Alex, I'm so ready, thank
you for asking. You know I love quarterbacks. Chris hat.
Speaker 10 (29:12):
Uh hat, Robbie.
Speaker 9 (29:16):
They started to call the Chiefs home stadium Burrow blank.
Speaker 10 (29:20):
Burrow blank, Burrow hat burrow hat ahead burrowhead.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Yeah, I'm not dropping some crazy clue.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
I'm not really glad you got this because I might
have lost my job if I gave the clue.
Speaker 9 (29:37):
I was like, I don't think the extension.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
I don't think that made the air. I don't think dude.
Speaker 9 (29:48):
Boner number six, Jason Smith, your next down, Rob Parker,
Russell Wilson. He's MLB brillant to know that's right.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
He played baseball too.
Speaker 9 (30:02):
You know that current QB one in Pittsburgh, but many
believe that Justin blank oh will eventually supplant him this season.
Speaker 10 (30:10):
Supplants good word looks using your college degree over there?
All right, uh oh, Rob, don't do that.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
He's got enough. You gotta get Meme motivated. You're making
me worried.
Speaker 9 (30:21):
He's got How is Alex what to feel confident?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
He's gotten nothing? Do I want to pass? I don't
want to pass?
Speaker 1 (30:32):
Sigh?
Speaker 2 (30:33):
That hurts. It was just defeated. You just sound defeat.
All right, here we go? You ready, Alex? You ready?
I don't know. After that sign, I hope I'm still ready?
Are you ready?
Speaker 8 (30:42):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (30:43):
I am ready?
Speaker 10 (30:44):
I feel little better, Thank you?
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Come on, Strawberry, give.
Speaker 10 (30:53):
Me again, Rob, Gene Strawberry.
Speaker 9 (30:55):
We're looking for the current backup quarterback for the Steelers.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Justin Blank Strawberry. Steve de Sega would get.
Speaker 10 (31:04):
This, Steve, would you get that off of his clue?
Speaker 8 (31:07):
No?
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Maybe if it was Rob, stop talking? Maybe one word?
Maybe if it was.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
Rob.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
You can't you give me clues?
Speaker 10 (31:19):
Strawberry, Strawberry fields forever.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
This is getting ridiculous. I mean well, Steve was holding
up a picture of Strawberry fields.
Speaker 9 (31:34):
He was mimicking himself, you know, with a shovel. So
I don't know what that means. All right, last one,
Chris Brustar's a perfect game.
Speaker 10 (31:43):
Let's go.
Speaker 9 (31:44):
So if Chris wins this one, he's gonna get the
benefit of the coin flip. Yes, very similar to the
overtime was the NFL back in the day level number seven.
We're all tied up to me. Chris. Chris. Chris, the
Raiders current quarterback is a journeyman that literally lived out
of his van during training camp one year. His name,
(32:05):
of course, being a hippie, is blank. Minshew, Chris.
Speaker 10 (32:16):
You don't sound confident.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Here, Chris has nothing. I didn't sigh.
Speaker 10 (32:20):
Well, you're silent. That's also signing to me motivation here.
I'm like a dog Flowers hours flowers, Robbie. Was it flower?
Speaker 9 (32:31):
Looking for a hippie quarterback?
Speaker 7 (32:32):
Name?
Speaker 9 (32:33):
Blank?
Speaker 10 (32:34):
Minshew, Flowers hippie? I mean hippies have gardens? Right?
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Yeah? Yeah? Bring the That was a perfect game.
Speaker 9 (32:49):
You had a perfect game in at least four or
five months.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Listen to the beat, baby groove with a brother.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
You have a you ever hear a guy throw up
on the radio. Oh I'm about to throw up in
my mouth. It's gonna be so bad.

All right, Rob, she's up thirteen seven over Baltimore late
in the second quarter. A lot of football left to
be played, But you and I are both picking the
Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
I'm picking them to win it. Are you picking them
to win it or just get there? Yeah, I'm picking
them to win it as well. I like them. I
like the way they played last year. I was very
disappointed in the game plan and how they played in
the AFC Championship game.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
That's what bothered me. It was, like, Chris, they played
their game and loss.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
I would have been fine with it, you know what
I mean, Like Kansas City came and beat them or whatever.
You remember as that game was over. It wasn't like
Kansas City dominated. They got shut out in the second
half of an AFC Championship game and.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
One yeah right, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Their defense, you know, their defense was good, but look,
the Ravens out gained them. The Ravens average almost six
yards per play, average five and a half yards per carry.
They just hurt themselves with some self inflicted wounds. They
had eight penalties, several of them unnecessary, and tonight they've
(35:39):
had some bad penalties too, to be quite honest.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Yeah, right now, they Chris, they gotta button some things up.
But I like them too.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Who you have, I've got the Packers in a bit
of a surprise.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
So the Packers is that's an anti Lions pick. Right,
that's got because that's what it feels like to me.
Can you just explaining your packers picks?
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Yeah, I just think that the you know, first of all,
they are a lot of surprises.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
You know what I mean, every year or a lot
of years.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
The Chiefs are never really a surprise at this point,
but there are a lot of surprises. I mean, they,
speaking of Baltimore, just keeps killing themselves with these It's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
They're moving the ball but.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Legal for may all right, But anyway, No, I first
of all, I really like Jordan Love and you know,
i've even before he became the starter when he played
I think it was against the Eagles when Aaron Rodgers
was still there, I just thought he looked so much
more mature, more poised that he had earlier. And last year,
(36:46):
of course, he had a terrific season, so I think
he's poised to have another big year. I think their
receiving corps terrific. They added Josh Jacobs, their defense. They
were the youngest team to make the playoffs since nineteen
seventy and so I think they're going to improve everywhere
because these young players are gonna be a little bit
better and so.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
That's why I like them. I do like the Lions.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
I think the top three teams in NFC are the Packers, Lions,
and forty nine Ers. So yeah, I look the Lions.
I wouldn't be surprised if they win the NFC. They
got a very good team. I think they're gonna be
right there. I actually picked the the Packers and the
Lions in the NFC championship game, so I've got the
(37:31):
Packers beating them. But yeah, so it wasn't really so
much anti Lions. It's just, you know, I think it's
gonna be the Packers this year.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
And I just have it's hard for me, almost impossible
for me to pick the forty nine ers again in
the NFC. And I don't like the Lions. I think
they blew a golden opportunity of last year. Just not
that they're not gonna make the playoffs, will be a
good team, I just think they're not gonna get back
there to do that. And I'm gonna go with my
(38:00):
default pick, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
Now, look, they are incredibly talented. I'm just saying this,
but it's my default pick for those reasons, you know
what I mean. Like forty nine. You know what I'm saying,
The forty nine Ers and the Lions or should be
are ahead of the Eagles. But I'm gonna use the
Eagles as the Eagles got talent. The only question is
is Hurt's gonna return to form. But I mean they
(38:26):
got our probably the best receiving cord in the league.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
They got they got to go.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
You know, they answered their problems on defense with the
draft and some other moves. So all right, we are
out of here. Keep it locked, though, purs
