and which was utterly ridiculous. If you remember, the Giants
came out with this this chart and told everybody how
running backs start to go backwards and decline at age
twenty seven. And then Sakwan came in first game against

the Giants, right at Giants at the Meadowlands or whatever
call met life, and ran off for one hundred and
seventy six yards. Only seventeen carries had a touchdown, had
sixty eight more yards then the Giants had as a
team yesterday.

And this is the guy that they're blaming because the
Giants signed Daniel Jones instead of Saquon Barkley. And then

like it wasn't like he was, you know, put in

most popular and your best player. Sometimes they may not
go hand in hand, right, your best player most popular
might be the fun guy who comes off the bench
and gets the crowd like, uh, you know Birdman, Birdman
or something like that down in Miami, Like you can

have that kind of guy. No, he was the most
popular and the best player by far, and you got
rid of him. And I was talking about this, like
why do sometimes they do you don't You don't have
to do the copycare league where everybody else is getting
running running running backs. Nobody else believes in running backs.
Everybody else said, you could just dump a running back. Yeah,
I get that. If your running back is solid. You

guys had a special running back, right, you have a
Christian McCaffrey, Sat Kwon Barkley, Derrick Henry type running back.
We ain't just getting rid of those types of backs.
And it's come to bite him. And I know he
was kind. He had a chance to go get what
it was a twelve seventeen more yards to set his
own personal record. He said, Nah, don't know if you
got a chance to see that. Robbie said, nah, let
the young boys. They came to him and said, hey,

you can keep going and you know, break your own record.
He's like, nah, let the young boys go. So I
like what say Kron's about. He's about winning, He's about
putting up some big time numbers on his former team.
And yeah, they absolutely missed that, just following the trend.
Nobody signs running backs, nobody does this. Man, you're in
a different situation. You don't have a franchise quarterback that

he's that special, he's that unique, and you didn't have
to pay him something crazy one hundred and twenty guaranteed.

the general manager, front office people whoever signed off on

they all should have been fired. What an embarrassing thing.
And Daniel Jones, rob g what is it? He hasn't
throw a touchdown since last year. He hasn't throw the
touchdown in New York or in New Jersey since last year?

He finally got bench right in that game they got
they lost twenty eight to three. They can't get anything going.
How in the world who's running these teams? The general

had to have. Come on, I'm telling you it's just
a copycat league. If you know, about seven eight years ago,

everybody started to get up up on the running backs.
They started to give up on them all they get
hurt or oh, I can just find me a six fifths,
six round running back, I'll be fine. I know you
can't like yeah, maybe for a handful of guys, and

you that. But there's a certain sector where you look
at him and say.

Sure could use Dereck Henry right now instead of getting
rid of him. How about McCaffrey when he left, when
he when Caffrey's healthy, you saw he went straight to
the forty nine ers. You see what he's done, been
arguably the best player one two or three offensive MVP
caliber guy with the forty nine ers. So to me,
you have to take each situation, each player on its
own merit right, All right, what do we have? Who

are we what do we do? He's our most popular player,
We're selling jerseys. He's giving it his all. It's not
like he has a bad rapper. We don't believe. He
works hard. He's dedicated to us, He's played hard. Let
this let's set the good karma for taking care of
this guy, setting the mold, setting the team for this
is how we are. This is a franchise. You come
play well, you work hard, You'll be rewarded. We're gonna
start heading in the right direction. And you got rid

of your best player, your most popular player, and you
signed Daniel Jones. And now you look like a team
that signed Daniel Jones.

a lot of money. That Daniel Jones agent probably was like, huh,

We already went to AFC Championship game. You know what
will make us even better him Derrick Henry.

And here's the other thing too, And this is why
I'm gonna pushback on the fans, the Giants fans. How
dare they boo Tiki? I Meanwon Barkley?

something wrong? The Giants didn't off from a contract. I
don't even understand the whole notion. I get that there's
a rivalry between the Eagles and the Giants.

amount of money, or the Giants offered him more money

kind of pay, and then to go to the Giants,
and then they basically had no deal for him because
they decided that they weren't going to pay both of
those guys, and the fans are mad somehow are mad
at Saquon Barkle. It's the same thing with Tiki barber
who I have on the pushback. Tiki Barbera says he's

dead to me, dead to you. How what did Saquon do?

He literally wanted to stay there, tried to stay there,
had to hold out. And remember he was just trying
to keep this a right attitude last season, like hey,
I'm just here. You know, I'm gonna just do what
I gotta do. I'm gonna just ball out and just
let the chips fall what they mean, Like, y'all clearly
don't want me or you want me for a disrespectful rate, right,
it doesn't make any sense. Another team's appreciates my skill set,

wants me seize my value. So on, if they're in
the division, so on, if they're an hour and a
half drive away, whatever it is, Like, that's on, y'all.

Why wouldn't you go where somebody's willing to pay you
what's your worth?

And everybody listening would do that right now. But the
fans burning is Jersey. That's a seriously, that's a weird.
That was a weird one, because again, it wasn't as

really slighted them either. He hasn't been overly critical of them.
He's just kind of moved on with his life. Yeah,
that's a strange one. This is why I get mad
at fans who get mad at players and never really

The same people who sit here hold Prescott. Oh he's
a lifer. We're never getting rid of this guy. He's
so happy he here, trade them a year later, make
bad decisions, sign bad folks, draft terribly, and then a
guy says, hey, man, this is a horrible situation, a
horrible environment. I went out of here, and they're mad
at the player. Meanwhile, the general manager of the ownership

is the one cultivating this bad environment, bad team, making
bad decisions. They've like tricked the common man, and in
getting mad at the common man for some big you know,
money man stuff, moneyman type stuff, is the most remarkable
thing to me. All right, hey, they've been able to
pull that off.

The Lions went to Minnesota, took care of business bisness,
and became the tops of that division NFC North, which
by the way, is the best division and all the football.

I mean, the Packers look good, the Vikings still look
good despite the loss of the Lions. Obviously, the Lions
look good. Even the Bears look good as well. So
what a division this ended up being thus far throughout
the season. But the Lions showed us again why they're
the best team in the NFC, maybe top two or
three in all of the NFL, and why they're on
a mission to right the wrongs of the NFC Championship,

where their coach Dan Campbell absolutely was I don't know
what he was on he was doing. He was purposely
trying to lose the game or something, act like he
was allergic to points in that NFC Championship game. I
love what I see from them, the commitment to running
the ball. Two running backs running all over the place.
Jared Goff is by far the best in the NFL

when it comes to the Blitz. He's putting up crazy numbers.
His stats against the Blitz are absolutely ridiculous. And then
I got an assortment of array of offensive guys. It's
Saint Brown one moment, if it's Williams another on the
outside as well, Laporta again, I mentioned the backs, and
then then they have the best offensive line in football.

They look really good. They came in there, took care
of business, and I like what they did. Where sometimes
you get those gameshere you said, all right, well we
lost there the best team in the division. I will

get a win. Now. They let him back in. Jared
Goff threw a bad pick and let him back in
or not pick. I'm sorry. They fumbled the ball. They
picked it up and stre Minnesota came back in that game,
and we did, but they came back, stayed in and

goal kicker. What a story has been for him. He
was in the USFL. He didn't even think he was
gonna have a shot in the NFL comes in here.
Now he's kicking game winners to take the lead in
the division. So I'm just loving what I'm seeing from
the Lions, the competitiveness, they have, the whole storyline of
doing it for Aiden Hutchinson. They got crazy pressure on

Sam Darnold, who looks solid, but they got enough pressure
of him to have him make mistakes and get sacked
and rush his passes. The Lions are a real deal, man,
and you now it goes. Nothing's guaranteed. The next year.
You and I talked about the oh Man Kelvin are
your Lions. They'll be fined next year. They'll be finding that.
You don't know that. We've seen teams do that. We
see the Eagles come from amazing season going to the

starting off hot and then becoming bums the rest of
the way. So for me, nothing, You can't take anything
for granted, Organic can't take any game for granted. And
the Lions are going out there taking care of business,
hungry and on a mission to get back to the
NFC Championship game and get where they should have been
the Super Bowl. They cannot tell me about the poopoo
and the Lions. Uh how how how can you find

something to this like? They're more arguably the most likable
team in foot. It's not about being likable.

But I picked and getting the Lions to win this

gonna tell me that's a successful season for the Lions.

they thought they were gonna get back. Everybody, their fans

their first playoff game.

franchise who sucked most of my life get back to
the NFC Championship. I have to look at this at
a lens of if in a five year period we
went to the NFC Championship game. Maybe we went to
the playoffs and lost hers round, but then we got
back to a NFC shoar, but then we went to

Super Bowl. He won it. If in five years, Jared
Goff gets me to a Super Bowl, a couple of
NFC Championship games and then that was a heck of
a five year stretch. I can't look at it as
they went thirteen and four, but it was a terrible season. No,
this team is franchised. You know you covered them when
you're not there calling for Matt Millan to be gone.

You know what they've been. I covered that team for
twenty years. I know what they've been.

this was a successful season because they won twelve in

win twelve and don't get back to the NFC champions this.

Is a disappointing season because that's the expectations. You wont question,
yes or no, is that that is a disappointing season
because of I'm answering your question is a disappointing, But
that's just in a singular question you're asking. I'm just saying,
if you're asking a broader and a much more well
rounded view, this is a franchise now that Dan Campbell.
Remember they started off or they're like, oh to eight,

one in eight or something like that. Then they win
the last eight games. Then they go into last season,
ball out, get to an NFC championship game, should have
went to the Super Bowl. You're by your estimation bounce back,
say they're twelve and five or whatever, and they losing
the playoffs. At some point, they're heading in the right direction.
They have they built a culture that can win. The

Lions are not about a right direction. What do you
mean that's not terrible for thirty.

They went to the NFC Championship game. They didn't just
like win ten games last year and get to the playoff. Okay,
like they were. They were up twenty eight to what

like that. In the first they ran over the forty
nine ers, right, they demolished them in the first half.

If anything, you would look back and go they choked.

In the second half because they basically got outscored or
shut out until the very last. They did get one
score I think in the second half. But my point
is that the expectations, because they got there and because
people thought they were going to the super Bowl, you're
not even hearing expectations are now way higher.

All so that makes make it make sense to me
right now, because you're telling me a team that is
sitting at five and one, balling out quarterback keeps almost
having perfect games. You got running backs running for Honeyard,
both of like they look incredible. I got to all
of a sudden think about what might happen in December
of January. That's how we're not no, no, no, We

talk about what just happened. You can enjoy it all
you what just happened. They beat the number one team
in the conference. I didn't say I didn't take away.

popular and the best player by far, and you got

why do sometimes they do you don't You don't have
to do the copycare league where everybody else is getting
running running running backs. Nobody else believes in running backs.
Everybody else said, you could just dump a running back. Yeah,
I get that. If your running back is solid. You

guys had a special running back, right, you have a
Christian McCaffrey, Sat Kwon Barkley, Derrick Henry type running back.
We ain't just getting rid of those types of backs.
And it's come to bite him. And I know he
was kind. He had a chance to go get what
it was a twelve seventeen more yards to set his
own personal record. He said, Nah, don't know if you
got a chance to see that. Robbie said, nah, let
the young boys. They came to him and said, hey,

you can keep going and you know, break your own record.
He's like, nah, let the young boys go. So I
like what say Kron's about. He's about winning, He's about
putting up some big time numbers on his former team.
And yeah, they absolutely missed that, just following the trend.
Nobody signs running backs, nobody does this. Man, you're in
a different situation. You don't have a franchise quarterback that

that's good. Your team wasn't that great he is. However,
he's that special, he's that unique, and you didn't have
to pay him something crazy one hundred and twenty guaranteed.

the general manager, front office people whoever signed off on

that whole thing to let Saquon go inside Daniel Joe,
they all should have been fired. What an embarrassing thing.
And Daniel Jones, rob g what is it? He hasn't
throw a touchdown since last year. He hasn't throw the
touchdown in New York or in New Jersey since last year?

six round running back, I'll be fine. I know you
can't like yeah, maybe for a handful of guys, and

you that. But there's a certain sector where you look
at him and say.

rid of him. How about McCaffrey when he left, when
he when Caffrey's healthy, you saw he went straight to

arguably the best player one two or three offensive MVP
caliber guy with the forty nine ers. So to me,
you have to take each situation, each player on its
own merit right, All right, what do we have? Who

are we what do we do? He's our most popular player,
We're selling jerseys. He's giving it his all. It's not
like he has a bad rapper. We don't believe. He
works hard. He's dedicated to us, He's played hard. Let
this let's set the good karma for taking care of

is how we are. This is a franchise. You come
play well, you work hard, You'll be rewarded. We're gonna
start heading in the right direction. And you got rid

what a division this ended up being thus far throughout
the season. But the Lions showed us again why they're
the best team in the NFC, maybe top two or
three in all of the NFL, and why they're on
a mission to right the wrongs of the NFC Championship,

where their coach Dan Campbell absolutely was I don't know
what he was on he was doing. He was purposely
trying to lose the game or something, act like he
was allergic to points in that NFC Championship game. I
love what I see from them, the commitment to running
the ball. Two running backs running all over the place.
Jared Goff is by far the best in the NFL

when it comes to the Blitz. He's putting up crazy numbers.
His stats against the Blitz are absolutely ridiculous. And then
I got an assortment of array of offensive guys. It's
Saint Brown one moment, if it's Williams another on the
outside as well, Laporta again, I mentioned the backs, and
then then they have the best offensive line in football.

They look really good. They came in there, took care
of business, and I like what they did. Where sometimes

of him to have him make mistakes and get sacked
and rush his passes. The Lions are a real deal, man,
and you now it goes. Nothing's guaranteed. The next year.

your Lions. They'll be fined next year. They'll be finding that.
You don't know that. We've seen teams do that. We
see the Eagles come from amazing season going to the

NFL to the Super Bowl, and then the next season
starting off hot and then becoming bums the rest of
the way. So for me, nothing, You can't take anything
for granted, Organic can't take any game for granted. And
the Lions are going out there taking care of business,
hungry and on a mission to get back to the
NFC Championship game and get where they should have been
the Super Bowl. They cannot tell me about the poopoo
and the Lions. Uh how how how can you find

something to this like? They're more arguably the most likable
team in foot. It's not about being likable.

But I picked and getting the Lions to win this

say they're twelve and five or whatever, and they losing

They have they built a culture that can win. The

They went to the NFC Championship game. They didn't just
like win ten games last year and get to the playoff. Okay,
