right now, it's all coming clear.

everyone's talking about is the battle of the seven foot
lanky dudes Victor Wombenyama, Chet Holmgren. These guys have been
going at it head to head basically for four or
five years now, when they were all in teenagers, rookies,
rook it second year and then last year. Apparently, though,

according to a report out of San Antonio, this game
tonight means a little bit more for Victor women Yama
than any other game.

really gonna be that good? The only thing I'll say, Rob,
whether it's an actual rivalry or not, in the sense of,
you know, like, will it live up to the hype?

Like I like Wemby like, I don't even want to
say his name, like you know what I mean, Like
it's it's on, you know, it's on. Don't even ask

He was like, a y'all can't be loving me in
and hate me the next day. So I love these
young guys coming back with rivalries, coming back with smoke.
And I think Wimby, as you mentioned, is supposed to

be this transform transformative, transformative player. I think it's gonna
be a battle between he and ant of who's the
face of the league. Ant's obviously a few years older,
but I think ant Man is right there. Once Lebron
leaves in the year one, Steph, you know, it just
becomes not quite as good. I think it's ant Man's league,
and I think Wimby will be right there. But I

think it's ant Man's just from a personality standpoint and everything.
I think ant Man is the guy, from his personality
to stuff he says he wants all the smoke, he
talks trash, I think it's his. It's gonna be He's
gonna be the not that's not the face.

I think it's harder because Wimby has a chance to
win the MVPs with the numbers and the stuff that
he's gonna be.

Able to put. You gotta have the ws.

there in the postseason and all that. But I think
that's the part that is going to give Wimby the
leg up on ant Man.

I think a man is in position to have a
better shot the next two to four or five years
just because he has a better team. You can't name
me a Spur outside of Chris, Paul and Winby and

the Spur? Like there are no Spurs that you can
even know me. But I'm just talking about the numbers.
Stand but you know what I mean, Like you're gonna
have to be top four in the West to get

though you can have amazing stat like great example, to
your point, he should have been defensive Player.

I just didn't think so. They won seventeen games defensive.
He was insane the numbers. When he was on the court,
they were like one of the best defensive team. The
minute he left, they were trashed.

I don't think he played in a meaningful game though,
all year, except for maybe Game one and that, and
that's part of it where uh Rudy Gobaer was playing
in games that mattered.

but whatever. That story for another day. But my point
is a similar to that point, that you gotta win,
and I don't think Wimmy's in it gonna be able
to win for another two or three years. They just
don't have the talent and it won't be him. Not
a single one of us will be like, Man, they're
losing because of Womby. Wommy's spectacular he wants you know
what I love about it? Again, remember that era we
had were like, we all were like, man, these young

of like that that weird year era we had a
few years We're like, they're all frat and eyzing. I
like these young guys, unlike his approach. I love that
he loves the game, he wants to play and all
that idea he wants. He doesn't want, uh people with
trying to crown them too fast. Though last year right off,

when you start mentioning him at Michael Jordan and this
and that, and I just think, yeah, but I think
that that just sounds a little crazy to me.

And if one person could stop joining the n RA

he could also be the face of the league or
right there, you know, the young two or three four
faces of the league, These younger guys. Uh, he's spectacular.

season with all the drama. If he could just stay
off the NRA, his website and just play basketball. Man,

you got John, you got you got Wemby, Shae Gilgers, Alexander.
I mean, the league is in a great position right
now with these handful of players that they have moving forward,
because you know, you always get worried, right like Jordan Leeds,
who's gonna be the face of league? God bless the dead,
Kobe Bryant Leeves, who's gonna be the face of the league. Okay,
Lebron and Katie and Steph, they're starting to leave a
little bit. Who's gonna be facing the league? I think

the league is in good hands, and I like a
little Ribers. I like him one smoke with Check.

going to have to usurp ultimately in the Western Conference
to cement himself as the predominant force in the West
and then kind of overall in the league. So the Joker,

he's the one that was doing things that we didn't
think a center could do, statistics off the charts, and
now with what I think that's the kind of I
don't think. I know he has that prototype. And but
add to it, he's a great defender, which Jokers is not.
So he can impact the game defensively, blocking shots, changing shots,
getting out and guarding all five positions, whereas that's not

the Jokers. M So I love Cheton Wenby. You know,
these guys, you know, classic, you know, just don't want
to speak to each other. But but he's going to
have to do more in terms of MVPs and championships
in the Joker. When it's all said.

What do you make of tonight the Yankees Dodge is

hold back and he was trying to you know, I
think he wanted Tonight is the night where he was

going to make a stand, and the Yankees are just
s team rolling them. So I think there's there's real
concern because it all comes down to Game six. You know,
you got if they who If the Yankees can win

that Game six, it's anybody's ball game, and they have
all the momentum in the world. So I think they
made an analytical mistake. They should have won, you know
when they had to.

Go for the juggular when you have a chance. But
I keep saying like they were down. No, but but you,
but you can't give it up for the cars. I
appreciate you can't get make it a two game.

you're out of the game as well. So as soon
as the guy struggled, you got to get him out
because you're trying to hold it to two so that
you have a chance to win.

So I was with the Steelers for a couple of days,
and they made it pretty clear to me that Russell
Wilson was going to be the start of the season
really no matter what unless he got hurt. Well, he
had the calf injury, then he had set back with it.
So they made a decision, let let Russ get the
calf well, get it to one hundred percent, and all
of a sudden, there they've got I think there were
four and too.

But field for here's the thing, the last two starts,
and even Justin won a record saying it, and I
would agree with him. Had he played well in those
two games, they were not gonna bench him.

he just didn't play well.

And you have to understand their son Russell to be
the starter, So you got to not perfect ball, but
you got to play where there's no question that there's
no way you're gonna you're gonna get benched. And that
didn't happen. So that's why that happened. And now I
would caution people, let's get through the rest of their schedule.
They've had a great schedule. Someone of the Steelers pointed

this out to me before they start the season, how
good their schedule was, and it's born out.

I mean, they're six and two at the buy.

I'm told they're they're they're really looking to get a receiver.
I've heard they really like Mike Williams of the Jets.

The Jets play tomorrow night. But when you look at
they still got to play the Commanders in week eleven,
that's on the road. They got to play Baltimore twice,
They got to play the Eagles in Philly, got they
got to play the Bengals and Chiefs. Their schedule, which

has been one of the best of the National Football League,
gets way harder for the final stretch.

really gonna be that good? The only thing I'll say, Rob,
whether it's an actual rivalry or not, in the sense of,
you know, like, will it live up to the hype?

And I think Wimby, as you mentioned, is supposed to

be this transform transformative, transformative player. I think it's gonna
be a battle between he and ant of who's the
face of the league. Ant's obviously a few years older,
but I think ant Man is right there. Once Lebron
leaves in the year one, Steph, you know, it just
becomes not quite as good. I think it's ant Man's league,
and I think Wimby will be right there. But I

think it's ant Man's just from a personality standpoint and everything.
I think ant Man is the guy, from his personality
to stuff he says he wants all the smoke, he
talks trash, I think it's his. It's gonna be He's
gonna be the not that's not the face.

So I was with the Steelers for a couple of days,
and they made it pretty clear to me that Russell
Wilson was going to be the start of the season
really no matter what unless he got hurt. Well, he
had the calf injury, then he had set back with it.
So they made a decision, let let Russ get the
calf well, get it to one hundred percent, and all
of a sudden, there they've got I think there were
four and too.

But field for here's the thing, the last two starts,
and even Justin won a record saying it, and I
would agree with him. Had he played well in those
two games, they were not gonna bench him.

And you have to understand their son Russell to be
the starter, So you got to not perfect ball, but
you got to play where there's no question that there's

would caution people, let's get through the rest of their schedule.
They've had a great schedule. Someone of the Steelers pointed

this out to me before they start the season, how
good their schedule was, and it's born out.

I mean, they're six and two at the buy.

I'm told they're they're they're really looking to get a receiver.
I've heard they really like Mike Williams of the Jets.

The Jets play tomorrow night. But when you look at
they still got to play the Commanders in week eleven,
that's on the road. They got to play Baltimore twice,
They got to play the Eagles in Philly, got they
got to play the Bengals and Chiefs. Their schedule, which

has been one of the best of the National Football League,
gets way harder for the final stretch.

at home their last four game home games, going back
