rings and being in some wonderful games in NBA finals.

Now with the Mavericks, they're being their sharpshooter, Rob. I know,
all right, you got some thoughts about this.

If I was in San Francisco tonight and they announced
that Clay Thompson, you know, with the Dallas Mavericks, they
announced him, and if I was writing a column in
San Francisco, my column would read stand up and boo
Clay Thompson. Yes, I know he helped you win four championships.

I get it, but what this guy did at the
end is unforgivable. And what I'm gonna say is, why
in the world would Clay Thompson not want to retire
a Golden State Warrior, be with Steph, be with Draymond

for the entire run, and instead he let his ego
get in a way, the Warriors were very good to him.
He was hurt twice with two major injuries, and he
made his money. In fact, Kelvin, here's why Warrior fans
should be mad at him. He got offered a contract

before the season last year, which was two years, forty
eight million. Okay, this is before the twenty twenty three,
twenty twenty fourth season.

why would you care about the Dallas Mavericks. They're bumps
in a family, things don't go right, you have each
other's back. He didn't play well. How about that stretch
where he got bent, he couldn't make any shots. Did

He deserves being a fighter, being fought back from those injuries.
Be a part of this rebuild of this team from
what they used to be, whether it was the eighth

up what now has been one of the great dynasties
of the NBA. Now where I agree is Klay Thompson
felt himself way more than he should have. And this
is where Clay started to have some issues. Number one
s Clay started to get preoccupied with his legacy in

the middle of his career, in the middle of a run,
in the middle of dog we trying to continue to
win as many rings as possible. Remember Rob, He started
to talking about, man, they disrespected me. I ain't top
seventy five players of all time. First of all, you're
not and I love you, but you're not. If guys
like Dwight Howard, if guys like Kyrie.

You don't make the top seventy five, Clay. But he
started caring about things that didn't matter top seventy five
players every time he got into it with some young
rising star four rings, four rings, four rings, to the
point where even he admitted, I'm getting beside. That's just
a young man feeling himself having a good game. I
probably shouldn't do that. I'm starting to become that old
grumpy guy. I don't like he said that he lost

sight of what mattered. What made this team great is
starting from their best player Curry being selfless.

part of this. What makes this team great is that
they have unity. What made this team great was they
checked their ego at the door, and that's what made
this team spectacular. And of all the people, kind of
the most quiet one, you thought, Clay started to become
the disgruntled one, always talking about this. I'm not playing

People forgot about me, and a lot of that came
from him being hurt with all those injuries and him
realizing subconsciously or to himself privately, I know I'm not
the player I once was and I know I never
will be. And I think he battled that, and I
can understand that we all had to battle some things

in our life, and I think that was tough for him.
But Clay did lose sight. Clay wanted to be one
of the guys, wanted to be a max contract for
wherever he was, and that's not what the or way
he was anymore. He lost sight of that and forget
in order to keep going on this run, I'm gonna
have to sacrifice. We've all had to sacrifice as a
part of this. And he lost it. And so that's

why he is where he is. And he wanted more time,
he wanted more more minutes. And the Mavericks, I think
they'll be all fine eventually. Funny because eventually it was
a rap like meaning the writings on the wall, I
can't play.

Let me go somewhere else where they value me and
I can get some more playing time and be a
part of a team that was just in the NBA finals.

That was his reasoning for going there. But it didn't.

And well, you know, he absolutely is not getting booed.
He's absolutely gonna have the house going crazy for him.
He's gonna shed a tear. He absolutely is a part
of that Splash Brother movement and he means so much there.
But it ended bad because I think he lost sight
of who he was and what that team was about.

And he just got.

Reason enough three, which that's reason enough to boo is
that he did lose sight. He lost sight of what
that whole thing was supposed to be. And those guys
nobody thought when they those guys got together that they
were gonna be able to do what they were able
to do. And he got too big, his head got
too big. He decided that he was bigger than that group.

That he know it's about him, despite two major injuries,
despite him not shooting well, that he still deserved to
get cashed out.

try to get some revenge against against washing against the Warriors.

amazing legacy that those three guys were together.

It makes sense this organization who struggled this organization who's
trying to win something. This was an organization that had
a great defense, that had some nice pieces on the
offensive end, and felt like they were a quarterback away
and they had their bet. They put it all on

Aaron Rodgers. And the only thing that's been challenging for
me is that some of the decisions they've made when
they've tried to go all in and they even started
to get outside of themselves. When you've never fired a
head coach in the middle of the season, you do
that again. They brought in Nathan Hackett as somebody to
lure Aaron Rodgers, and again it worked. They lured them in.

They got them, you got some of his old receivers.
You brought in Devontae Adams as well.

This year. Everything's been Taylor made for them.

To have a successful season, and they have it, and
the offense looks like Zach Wilson's offense right now, and
they just have not been able to succeed as the
rate they thought they would. They're not a playoff team
and it's been just really a bad situation and it's
time for them to figure out what they're gonna do
at the end of the season. If it's move on.
If it's staying at Aaron Rodgers. I don't think that

Aaron Rodgers experiment has worked. And that's okay, that's okay.
You make mistakes. Organizations do every single year. Whether it
pick the sport, it doesn't matter. But you have to
find a way to move on and rectify this thing
and get it going.

Issue is that people have gone so bonkers with the
Aaron Rodgers thing that they don't even analyze the game anymore.
It's just, no matter what the situation is, it is

should have pushback and make people be accountable as far

the defense that gave up twenty five points to the Patriots.
Talk about the lack of a running game. I talked
about this before. I told Chris and Rob g this
isn't gonna work. And you want to talk about the
telltale sign. Four snaps into his Jets career, he blew
out his his achilles.

A forty year old quarterback and you're trying and hoping
and wishing. Don't forget Peyton Manning was benched the year
that they won the Super Bowl to Denver Broncos. You

and forty yards in the Super Bowl. But why did
they win? They had a great defense. That's why they

won the Super Bowl. They had nothing to do with
Peyton Manning and his leadership or whatever you want to say.
He got bench for brock Oxwaller. And here's the other thing.
Where is he from the Jets defense. Right, it's twenty
second in points allowed, twenty fourth against the run, and
thirtieth in takeaways.

So yes, Aaron Rodgers into the answer and hasn't played well,
But there are other facets that tell you this isn't
a good team. And if you're gonna be give you
analysis on it, make sure it's well rounded and well researched.
Rather than the lazy blame Aaron Rodgers yours.

like they no connection. You would have never thought they
played together right now looking at them. So he is
if it's a if it's a blame percentage of a pie,
he absolutely is not getting the whole pie. But he's

absolutely they made this whole thing around him. That's where
they went wrong. They banked everything on. We got him.

Organization that hasn't done anything, what what they're supposed to
all of a sudden they're gonna say, oh, yeah, we'll
bring you here. But no, we're still gonna do what
we've been doing, which is not being able to draft quarterbacks,
not being able to hire a head coaches, correct ones,
not being able to do They've been a bad franchise.

They didn't work with Brett Favor won three straight MVPs.
It didn't work with him. They started the season eight
and three and didn't even make the playoffs that year.
I'm just telling you, I've watched this team my whole life.

So nobody's arguing that that this this has been a
badly run organization.

And that's all Aaron Rodgers too for one to go

we believe in. Let's continue to build on this defense,
let's continue to build on the special team, Let's continue
to build our offensive identity.

that Clay Thompson, you know, with the Dallas Mavericks, they
announced him, and if I was writing a column in
San Francisco, my column would read stand up and boo
Clay Thompson. Yes, I know he helped you win four championships.

I get it, but what this guy did at the
end is unforgivable. And what I'm gonna say is, why
in the world would Clay Thompson not want to retire
a Golden State Warrior, be with Steph, be with Draymond

for the entire run, and instead he let his ego
get in a way, the Warriors were very good to him.
He was hurt twice with two major injuries, and he
made his money. In fact, Kelvin, here's why Warrior fans
should be mad at him. He got offered a contract

before the season last year, which was two years, forty
eight million. Okay, this is before the twenty twenty three,
twenty twenty fourth season.

This summer, he signs.

Be a part of this rebuild of this team from
what they used to be, whether it was the eighth

nine version, whether it was the run TMC and building
up what now has been one of the great dynasties
of the NBA. Now where I agree is Klay Thompson
felt himself way more than he should have. And this
is where Clay started to have some issues. Number one
s Clay started to get preoccupied with his legacy in

the middle of his career, in the middle of a run,
in the middle of dog we trying to continue to
win as many rings as possible. Remember Rob, He started
to talking about, man, they disrespected me. I ain't top
seventy five players of all time. First of all, you're
not and I love you, but you're not. If guys
like Dwight Howard, if guys like Kyrie.

You don't make the top seventy five, Clay. But he
started caring about things that didn't matter top seventy five
players every time he got into it with some young
rising star four rings, four rings, four rings, to the

a young man feeling himself having a good game. I
probably shouldn't do that. I'm starting to become that old
grumpy guy. I don't like he said that he lost

sight of what mattered. What made this team great is
starting from their best player Curry being selfless.

part of this. What makes this team great is that
they have unity. What made this team great was they
checked their ego at the door, and that's what made
this team spectacular. And of all the people, kind of
the most quiet one, you thought, Clay started to become
the disgruntled one, always talking about this. I'm not playing

I should be starting again. Four rains top seventy five players.
People forgot about me, and a lot of that came
from him being hurt with all those injuries and him
realizing subconsciously or to himself privately, I know I'm not
the player I once was and I know I never
will be. And I think he battled that, and I
can understand that we all had to battle some things

in our life, and I think that was tough for him.
But Clay did lose sight. Clay wanted to be one
of the guys, wanted to be a max contract for
wherever he was, and that's not what the or way
he was anymore. He lost sight of that and forget
in order to keep going on this run, I'm gonna
have to sacrifice. We've all had to sacrifice as a
part of this. And he lost it. And so that's

why he is where he is. And he wanted more time,
he wanted more more minutes. And the Mavericks, I think
they'll be all fine eventually. Funny because eventually it was
a rap like meaning the writings on the wall, I
can't play.

Let me go somewhere else where they value me and
I can get some more playing time and be a
part of a team that was just in the NBA finals.

That was his reasoning for going there. But it didn't.

And well, you know, he absolutely is not getting booed.
He's absolutely gonna have the house going crazy for him.
He's gonna shed a tear. He absolutely is a part
of that Splash Brother movement and he means so much there.
But it ended bad because I think he lost sight
of who he was and what that team was about.

And he just got.

that he did lose sight. He lost sight of what
that whole thing was supposed to be. And those guys
nobody thought when they those guys got together that they

too big. He decided that he was bigger than that group.

rate they thought they would. They're not a playoff team

If it's staying at Aaron Rodgers. I don't think that
