Duh, No, I did not pick the I picked the
That was that was pretty bad, Alex seventy one twenty
nine halftime crazy. Come on y'all, David Hellman of the
NFL on Fox podcast. So we'll do uh that will
join him an hour number two and uh you know
last call of course, the final hour in case you
(03:12):

Speaker 1 (03:18):
But first we'll be welcome in. My partner, he is
Calvin Washington. Alex hit me with Hello Darkness, my old friend.

Rob Parker, Wait now, way, Alex, let me least get
it out because you make we make we on two days.
Let me can I you might cut me some slack.
(03:39):
You all have done TV. You've either worked it or
literally been on the camera. You Rob and I had
to play along. We had the Girl Scout troops on
the show. No and nobody hear me. We literally what
it was. You had to like eat the cookie in
the say the exact title of the Girl Scout.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Can't do it? So I did.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
You'd be proud. I only ate a bite of the
you know our god. The next one, here we go
take a babe with that. But so I didn't like
woof them down, but I did have, you know, several
bites of Girl Scout cookies.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Does it? County? Was early? You know, I was seven
eight o'clock in the morning. You got to start all
over like your body. You've already put sugar in your system.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
So everything that you did is out the window, right, Alex,
I mean that's try.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yeah, it sounds right. And you know what, I blame
the Girl Scouts of America.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
I was at usc and I'm working in the newsroom.
Stacey runs the newsroom down there at the USCA, and
she said she had a thing of candy and she
offered me. And I looked right at her and I said, Stacy,
thank you losing some weight and I'm going to pass
on the candy.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
That's good. You could have She's a grown woman. That's
the problem. But you could have been it. You could
have been in that cookie, Stacy. You could have been quiet.
Stacy was twenty three.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Rob would have been like, hey, you're sweet from sweet
You hear me a like, oh no, sweet from a
sweetish you stop, I'm at school.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
No, that's not happening. You could have been the cookie sweating.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
Bullets every day, Alex, Alex, turn your head and spit
it into a napkin.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Right on live TV?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yes, yes, I literally could you missing the concept?
Speaker 4 (05:16):
It was a game show.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
We had buzzers and everything, and the whole point was
the cute little girls go, Okay, try your next gig,
and in me and my you know, my co anchors,
and all right, here we go. Take you what didn't
take you by? Is it a coming to light? B
me b Yeah, So it was a whole TV come
me in little slack guys. No, I'd still spit it out.
I would have sput it into a napkin, have to ye.
All right, let's welcome into the couple of crew.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
We wouldn't be able to do this fine radio program
without him. Rob g is a producer rocking at the
Beautiful Raincoat.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
That was originally like six hundred dollars. Okay, that's hard.
Wow how much?
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Originally three fifty three fifty and he got it for
six rounded up robsy next time, four hundred, five hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
You know that's a that's the deal. You know.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
I love that is our engineer of course, So Manzi's
in the at the anchor desk. Mon Weiss is uh right,
Monzy okay, Manzi's here and monts and I'm chilling. I'm chilling, and.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Wis is going to be here as well. And of
course Elijah heard of him to drop any more. He
just says, I never heard Rob you. How'm mad I
am right now?
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Because Ricky are illustrious, uh producer who makes all of
our great sounds and chosen stuff. He came in here yesterday.
He's like, who's trying to take odds on this weight
loss thing for the odd couple? And he already said,
He's like, who do you think? I just said, without
a doubt, it's Rob, without a doubt he's gonna win in.
And he even said, to do you think anybody's gonna crack?
I said, I'll give Cadon and Robbie of passins they
have kids and all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Not the next day I was defending you.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
It's like it's like Seinfeld when they get the.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Master of your old domain and Kramer comes in.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
You remember he's looking at the window the woman across
the way and he comes in with his money and
he goes, I'm out, and they're like, you're.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
You're out, well at least, but he is out for
like a he wanted to be out. I didn't want
to be I just kind of had to play TV guy.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
All right, let's go here, rob G. News of the day, Yeah,
let's get to it. Kevin Durant last year, the last
game of the night.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
For people who were sleep or didn't know or whatever,
or maybe you didn't watch the news, he had a
milestone yesterday.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
That's right, Kevin Durant last night became just the eighth
player in NBA history to crack the thirty thousand point mark.
Congratulations to KD. Bozzeltoff two times CAMP, two times Final
MVP and now if we don't even know it, one
of the all time greatest scorers to ever touch a basketball.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
And you know what, no doubt about it.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
I can remember the first time I saw him at
the Palace of Auburn Hills playing the Pistons for the
first time. You know, up close, he was rail thin.
Everybody was rand and raving about this guy. Unbelievable score,
unbelievable shooter, just tremendous player. But I'll tell you this,
that came in the thirty thousand point mark and I
(08:07):
get it, the Sons of Scoffland, but that didn't even
move the needle. People just are out on KD. I've
said it before here on the odd couple. Kevin Durant
is NBA dead most players. Only eight players have done this.
(08:28):
This would have been a big deal. But Kevin Durant,
as good as he is. We know that the two
finals MVPs with the Warriors, Me and you both agree
if he wasn't there, they ain't win.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Of those.
Speaker 5 (08:41):
Lebron might have two more. Let's just keep it real.
He was outstanding. He was the best player, no question.
But since then, the way his career is taken a
path with the Brooklyn stop and the injuries, I want
out of their and they trade them right away, they
trade him to this. He goes there, You remember the
(09:02):
injury with no contact, he's doing a layup line. He
gets injured, and now the Sons or a garbage dumb
like like seriously, they really are, like what are they?
They were supposed to be When he went there, You
remember everybody was jumping on that bandwaggon about how great,
oh my god, Kevin Durant, they got the team. Oh my,
(09:23):
this is gonna be a problem. No, it has not
been a problem. And I believe that Kevin Durant, as
great as he is, doesn't move the needle.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
He's NBA dead.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
The craziest thing about KD is, for about a decade
ish he was undoubtedly the second best player in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
He even knew it.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
His whole point was, I remember that, you know, in
an interview he said, I'm tired of being second. Hey,
I'm tired chasing Lebron. I want to be the one.
I want to be the win and the titles. I
want to be the one, you know, MVPs. I want
to be that guy. And I appreciate that opening honesty. Hey,
he wants to be top dog, the top dog. The
issue is, for as great as he is, you just
mentioned it. I say it every time people, especially living
(10:05):
in LA. Who's the best scoring, great score you've ever seen?
I said, with my own eyes, it's Kevin Durant. Now
Kobe Bryant, if you ask me, the hardest tough shot maker,
Kobe Bryant. If you ask me, you know, the person
who maybe the lead my franchise over him and Kobe
Kobe Bryant, but the flat out best score who makes
it look easy on all levels. He's gonna shoot ninety
from free throw, forty from three, fifty from the field,
(10:26):
go post, you up, mid range, three pointers, knockdown free throws,
whatever you want, left hand, right hand. Kevin Durant's the
best scorer overseening. I didn't see Jordan play in person,
so always start with that you want that young huh,
I mean his heyday. I could I could have gone,
you know, like if someone took me. But I just
never saw Jordan in person. Yet he's like the one
kind of the great.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
And I always say like I was spoiled because that's
when David Stern moved the sports writers from up top
to court side.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Was during the Jordan ear. He's like, y'all need to
see this.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
I watched and I heard all the chirping and the
you know what I mean, and all that stuff up close.
I tell you all the time, that famous cragig El shot.
I'm sitting courtside like like unbelievable. And I remember Clifton
Brown worked for the New York Times a basketball writer,
and I remember turning to Cliff and I said, they're
(11:17):
they're going to let Jordan get the ball, Like, if
I'm the coach anybody, but you guys are going to
defend because it was just an inbounds and whoever had
it had to shoot. I would have had two guys
on Jordan and make them pass to somebody else.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
They let you. I just couldn't believe it.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
I was like, of all people people, he's gonna kill you,
and he and.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
You saw the superior athleticism he just hunt. Craig Elo
was right there was I'm a normal human.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
I'm gonna go him down now that I can't hang
in the air this the levitation ain't like that. Mike
just said, no, I'm gonna hang up here another extra
second and a half. Yeah, here's my issue with Kevin Durant.
I said all that to say how great he is.
But Kevin Durant was too great to become a hitman
for hire. Kevin Durant was too great to be a
king without a kingdom. And that's my issue with Kevin
(12:05):
Durant is that for the scoring, it makes sense top
eighth person ever get thirty thousand points. Absolutely, for the
minute he walked into a basketball court in the national stage,
even at Texas, he was a walking bucket, choose the
Seattle SuperSonics turned Oklahoma City Thunder a walking bucket.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Everywhere he's gone. He has been that, even with.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Steph Curry, two time MVP walking bucket Kevin Durant.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
But the problem is what he's become. He's just floating around.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Remember the show Kung Fu, where you're just floating around
from town to town, from the city in the city.
Who needs some help in this town? Who needs some
help in this city? That's what Kevin Durant became. David
David karrondy yup. He became a hit man for hire.
And you don't identify him with something. Now, you don't
identify him. This is where he is, this is where
his home was. And to be honest, Robin makes it
(12:56):
even weirders He was getting kicked out of places.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
You're the one in Oklahoma City Thunder.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Russell Westbrook was absolutely great, but it was supposed to
be your team. He chose to day they let me
get out here. Russe is too much, he's too hard
on me. Let me get out of here. You go
to the Warriors. You're the best player of the team.
I know, Steph's the most popular face. You're the one
two times final. You're the better player. They start picking
on you. Draymond saying this, they ain't.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Showing you the B word, called him the beat during
the game, caught him a bee worst said we won
without you.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
We'll win. After you got picked on left again.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Then instead of going and like I'm about to do
my thing, God, the Kyrie calls him, hey, me and you,
James Harden, let's go over here. That that don't work out.
And he played well, but that don't work out.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
That that foot on the line, that might change the legacy,
dude makes that. Remember the Spots won the championship that year.
Had he made that shot, you remember, because Kyrie was
hurt and so was hardened.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Yep, And and he got there and the.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Game was and he had like fifty something point and
it gets that's the game winner.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
If its foot's not on the line, I mean, that
would have changed absolutely had a chance to.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
So now it's weird telling the story of Kevin Durant
because you're like, man, he's as great as you tell me. Well,
why doesn't he have an identified home, identifiable home? Why
do people Why are people upset that he won two
championship with the Warriors. Why is he hopping from this
team to this team and not making a difference when
he hops to the team. That's what makes it even
where he goes to a team and it's not necessarily
(14:23):
making the difference. Because Kevin Durant is here now in
this stretch of his career, so marvel of a talent,
probably play another two three years, which means he might
be able to get in the top five.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
I have to, you know, look at the numbers a
little bit.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
But remember, let's give him some respect, cuz he with
all those injuries, he's missed two and a half seasons,
so it's incredible that he has eight with missing two
and a half almost three seas and how that's incredible.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
And how great he's playing right now. I mean, was
balling last night. But this team is bad.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
But I'm just saying how he's still as far as
being a bucket. So it's hard to tell the story
of Kevin Durant. But the scoring has never been an issue.
The best scorer I've ever seen him per he just
you look up, you he probably what twenty four tonight.
I'm talking in person. You look at it, thirty five.
It is the easiest thirty five. You're like god money snipers,
no doubt. It's just easy money when you watch him.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
So it's been the overall of it all has been
a little underwhelming considering how great he is, but dynamic,
the best player from like I said, behind Lebron for
like a decade, all right, eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three
sixty nine, Real simple, Is Kevin Durant NBA dead?
Speaker 4 (15:29):
What do you think? I really do.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
I don't think he moves the needle anymore. And it's
a shame because just like you said, he's a tremendous player.
We want to hear from you. It is The Odd
Couple on a worship Wednesday, Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington.

thousand points in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
But is he dead? Has he becoming relevant? He ain't dead.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
I'm telling you hit us up eight seven, seven ninety
nine on five. All right, let's go with Josh in Arizona.
You're in the couple Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Josh?
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Hey, y'all boys doing? I appreciate you having me on? Yes, sir,
uh yeah.
Speaker 8 (16:55):
I have to agree with Rob.
Speaker 9 (16:57):
Unfortunately it is NBA.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Why you gotta be unfortunately?
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Well, I say unfortunately because I think this is not
a Kevin Durant issued, more so of a fan issue.
I think we've given the games meatheads. And when you
do something like that and you forget the enthusiast of
this game. You get people shooting a bunch of threes,
you get the the lopsided games and the non competitive
(17:22):
nature of what we have today, and I blame Adam
Silver for that.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
I'm not going to argue with you, Josh. I'm not
gonna argue with that because the game and the product.
You know, I've been covering the league since.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
I'm not saying anymoreeteen eighty seven, Marcia that you said
it in that just aired five minutes.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Agosh, it's hard to watch. I'm with you. Thanks for
the call.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
Thank you, Josh. Who we Gott's so? Marcel, Marcel what
I'm noise? You're on the eye couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 8 (17:51):
Hey, what's going on? Fellas? Man? I love the show Man.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
Thank you?
Speaker 8 (17:56):
Yeah, for sure, for sure. Hey Man, I just wanted
to say, Man, you know, I love Man Kevin Durant
Man when he was at Golden State, but but when
we're really fell in love with him. Man was in
the Olympics. So because he did some things in the Olympics,
Man that I really could appreciate, you know, I don't
I don't know if he's really necessarily Dad. If you
get on the right team right now.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
But.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Teams.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
And when he went to Phoenix, you gotta admit people
were gung ho about the Suns.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
They thought, oh my god, they got Kevin Durant, they
got Devin Booker.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
What you can't stop those two guys right before they
even got Bradley Beal.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
So absolutely, Marcel, and they made the finals without him.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Thank you, Marcel, appreciate you. Yep, Pete, Yep, thank you, Pete.
In Vegas pistol, Pete was good. How are you sup?
Speaker 10 (18:48):
I'm doing wonderful? Hey, real quick, you guys awesome. Shoved
been fan of you guys, well, Calvin more recently, but
rob you're on point.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
Thank you, my man. I appreciate that, Pete.
Speaker 10 (18:59):
As far as the scoring goes, guys, uh, you know,
obviously it's hard to hard to compare, but I would
compare Durant to one of my favorite scores of all time,
David Robinson. They could have been the best. They were
just too soft, so they really couldn't kick down and dirty.
If you had a little attitude, maybe so. But for me,
(19:19):
if I'm gonna pay and watch somebody put a point,
it was either Reggie Lewis or Mark mont a'b do.
If you just go to watch scoring, you just need
to sit down for a minute and those two dudes
will take over the game.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Was he was Steph before Steph, Yeah, he.
Speaker 10 (19:37):
Was the beast.
Speaker 11 (19:38):
And then the last was when biased.
Speaker 10 (19:40):
My last guys have a great show.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
Appreciate you. He would have been crazy. I remember when
he died. You know, I was a kid, but I
remember that whole scenario. Mister Crisp from San Francisco, the couple,
because like the big All Star Game is coming your way.
Speaker 9 (20:03):
He has the All Star Games coming That ways a dump.
But listen, my god, it should have happened. Rob's big
respect to you, but let's see you for years.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Well, I appreciated Kevin.
Speaker 9 (20:16):
Durant should have come back to the Bay Area. He
was hot when he was here. If he could come
back to the Bay Area play with Stephen Draymond again
to watch the beef played the ball, it would have
revitalized his career and he could have actually made another run.
But at this point, he's hit a huge guy who
can shoot great shots, get lots of points and never
(20:36):
see another ring again. That's the way it is.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, that's what it feels like, the issue is thank
you for the call, mister christ. The issue is, would
mister Chris or anybody want to go back where they
disrespected you were?
Speaker 4 (20:46):
You were the two top on MVP. They don't show
you in the video that right there was because that
was organization.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
If players have issuesiation above the pad right.
Speaker 5 (20:57):
For the organization to put together the greatest players played
for the Warriors. This guy's a finals MV after winning championship.
This wasn't like we just won. That was the finals MVP.
You don't put me and we open up the new
arena and we act like he didn't exist.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Yeah, that's so the disrespect between that Draymond and other stuff.
I can see why he's like, no, I'm good on them,
all right. We appreciate the calls on that. Talk some
more hoops a little bit later on in the show.
Right now, Eddie Johnson gonna be joining us. Looking forward
to that. We'll get to hear what he has to say.
Is Martin Weiss with what's trendy?
Speaker 4 (21:27):
What's up?
Speaker 11 (21:27):
Broh.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four PM Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Talking about Kevin Durant. Is he or is he not?
NBA dead?
Speaker 5 (21:43):
He's reached the thirty thousand point mark and guess what
that really didn't move the needle.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
People worked and it should eighth player in NBA history
to do so.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Can I add how bad it's got Let me add
to that. You know how bad it got for Kevin
Durant and how I said he's a hit man for
hire or king without like a kingdom that John Moran
gave him the ball. And what I mean by that
is if he's like if this is Steph Curry, I
don't care if they're in Memphis or they're stopping it
to give him the It's like a big thing because
(22:13):
Steph what he means to the league right now, you know,
even though they're not playing great, but like he has
had a run where it's revered.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
You get what I mean.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
And I just feel like with Kevin Durant again, because
he's become unidentifiable but the team, there's no like he's this,
He's that. He's just become a really good scorer in
the league, which is sad that it's just like even
with the ball, John may say, no, we gott to
honor you. Is something And I know it's not first play,
I know the number one, but just something.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
It's not gonna pull up ropes when passed career, yeah,
but just something.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
And that just he's so good, like he was literally
the second best player for so long that it's weird
that he's become just kind of this guy we just go, oh, yeah,
Kevin Durant.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Now that's a little weird, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
It's just weird because it does he's still getting buckets.
It's not like he's just team but it doesn't feel
the same. Yeah, Hey, what about Andrew and Bakersfield, California.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up
and Andrew? Julie's still there? Did we lose them?
Speaker 6 (23:16):
All?
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Right? Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
If you want to squeeze in on Kevin Durant, it'll
be interesting going forward.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
On what the Sun? Do you remember they tried desperately,
That's another part of it, Like they don't want they
didn't want him.
Speaker 5 (23:30):
Remember that they were trying to move him and if
they could get Butler and that didn't work out because
Bradley Beal, wouldn't they like the new owner. I know
he's throwing money, bad money and all this other stuff,
but he's done a lot and it's it's a dumpster fied.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Well, just because you got money doesn't mean it's money
well spent, you know what I mean. Like, if you're
just throwing it, if you're just throwing it around trying
to get any and everybody, you don't have a cohesive
type of a team or you're not building an identity.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Like this is what we do, this is how you
get it.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Kevin Durrant literally the same three guy.
Devin Bookers tried his best to kind of be more
of a distributor. Hey I can pass the ball. I
can kind of play the de facto point guard when
I need to, And credit him for that because he's
been with the team, right, that's been his team. He's
been trying to be that just for the sake of
the team. But like you got the same guy. None
of them can be like, Hey I'm gonna be the
(24:17):
lockdown defender. Hey I'm gonna be rebound blackshot guy, Like
that's just not what they're able to do. So you
put a team together that kind of has three of
the same guys, and that's why it's been underwhelming. That's
why I didn't buy it into it from day one.
The teams that have been winning. You look at Denver, well,
we know what yokij is. You know what Jamal Murray.
Then they got guys who are picking Pop and three
and d guys KCP when he was there and all
(24:39):
these types of things, and Michael Porter Junior, Well, put
together team, you know what I mean. That's why their
phoenix was like, hey, y'all, three, don't try to be
the same guy even though you're literally the same guy
can score, just try not to no doubt.
Speaker 5 (24:52):
Sean in Sacramento. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, Sewan? You've been going at it on Twitter
with somebody all day.
Speaker 9 (25:00):
Man, Look, man, you already know me. When they come
for the King aka Rod Parker, I got to put
on my little k real quick. Man. I'm not saving
my brother, but I'm saying things that he wished he
could say if he was a rock in that well.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
You know, you know, I'm not gonna say it, but
you saw It's like over one hundred thousand did you
see that?
Speaker 8 (25:18):
Views That's why you are a menace. You are single handedly.
Speaker 9 (25:23):
Taking Fox Sports, Radio, Twitter.
Speaker 8 (25:25):
Heading on your back ride and getting.
Speaker 9 (25:26):
Engagement, getting people. Man, the entire Chiefs Kingdom is for
your neck. Brot.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
He was on there, he was on their busting caps
for you. But I was like, oh, I opened my
Twitter up. I was like, what all these mentioned? Next
thing I know was it was chaos going in there.
It was a bra it was a broad fight on Twitter.
It was But Shawn kd no yay, NBA dead, Like, oh,
that was it.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
He's done. He just wanted to let you know that
he had your back. I saw that. You're right about that.
He was all over Twitter. I did. By the way, though,
I do need to give me out the group chat
on Twitter. I do need the ability to do that.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
But because it's because it's just no, because it ends
up being let's say, me and you were going at
it on Twitter and now, but the other person's in it,
like they got to keep seeing it, so I gotta
keep seeing on them going at it back.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
All right, Let's sueeze one more in Robert in Florida.
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. Well
in Florida. Everybody in Miami, where you at for in Florida.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Robert pember Pines guys pin in Florida represent eighty eighty
two degrees.
Speaker 11 (26:23):
I don't want to rub it.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
In, all right, Relax, relaxed, we got we got fifty. Yeah,
we got a monsoon going on.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
But other than yeah, no.
Speaker 11 (26:30):
I I I hear listen, I I you know, I've
lost a lot of respect to Kevin Durant when uh,
when he went to Golden State, and in my personal view, uh,
you know, a great score does not make a great player,
you know. I I don't.
Speaker 9 (26:47):
In the same light as Jordan.
Speaker 11 (26:49):
I don't see him in the same I Once again,
he you know, he.
Speaker 9 (26:54):
Plays one into the flour. You know, he can probably
scoring anybody in the in the NBA. His three in
my mind, great score, but great overall player, two way player.
Uh not for me, guys.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
All right, Robert Brad appreciate the show, I mean the call. Yeah,
I think that. My last point, Rob, I think just
was disappointing is that he always got pushed out.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
You know what I mean? You were the top dog.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Well, ok, se man with Duran, I mean with Rustbrook
just wasn't working and.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
So he had to leave.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Like you get if, I'm not saying I wanted Rushbrook
to leave, but you get him out, you left, then
you go. You're the You're the man with the Warriors,
You're the one, you know, Finals MVP, doing your thing.
And he left and he goes to Brooklyn. Man, I'm
gonna own this team. It's gonna be my squad. And
he left. So my thing is like he keeps getting
kind of kicked out of these places.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Where he's been the man.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
No, I I agree, and he shouldn't be like that
because he is. Yeah, he's of that stature, even the way, uh,
you know Draymond Green treated him like like really, Dram.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Draymond, you are a heck of a player.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
But Bron me too, may not have done that to me.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I'm you are a great role player. But but don't
get it.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
You ain't me. You ain't.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
But again, he's not built like that, so therefore he
didn't react the way that we would have hoped for.
All Right, we got Shekel City on deck hand. Are
you smiling around?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Oh? Oh? Oh?
Speaker 6 (28:23):

forty three, So hurry over five tonight.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Let's do it all right? Three and oh? Last night
forty one and forty three. Best bet seventy six Ers
minus three and a half.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
They're taking on the Brooklyn Nets.
Speaker 5 (30:12):
I got Indiana Patriots minus nine and a half taking
on the Wizards like that one ye, and then I
got Boston minus eight and a half the Spurs.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
They're hosting the Spurs.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
So again, Celtics minus eight and a half, Patriots minus
nine and a half and the seventy six Ers minus
three and a half two to sixers playing again. The
Sixers are playing the Brooklyn Nets. And remember Calvin, what's that?
I'm not telling you who to bet on, I'm telling
you who I bet on.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Get the fire so on social media.
Speaker 5 (30:46):
I don't know where I saw it was at Instagram, Alice,
you got it here's a song. This guy, I gotta
take a look. We got his name, you get his name,
shout them out, Sean, I said that it is. Do
it after, we'll do it after all right, let's hear
it, all right, let's hear it.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
How about that? People got too much time on their hands?
That was great? That that was I don't know why
you keep doing I didn't see it onb G. We
don't have it his name.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
No, I didn't see his name. Un that's I missed
it somewhere. Yeah, we'll find it. That's all right, we
got we got out. Shout out to him though. We
want to give him. We want to give him some love.
That was actually hilarious. I was really good and I
was hilarious, all right.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
Robert Williams Junior, good job that was on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
You Roberts love remaking songs? Yes, you know that? What
about you, Roberts G. Do you over there making remaking
songs too?
Speaker 6 (31:30):
No?
Speaker 7 (31:31):
And by the way, apologies to the Odd Couple podcast
listeners because you are not going to hear that song
in the podcast because of Billy Joe. No, due to
you know, rules and regulations. Even on Instagram, people as
far as I know, it's illegal to play more than
thirty seconds.
Speaker 4 (31:46):
Okay, yeah, acting like he dropped the real out And
we don't know the write of that song. That's Robert Williams.
Speaker 7 (31:50):
Use that positive because if he copyrighted anyway, you don'rite
to be check.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
Rob, No, I'm not going that's why they gonna be
in a podcast. I'm sure I'm possible.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Well, Alex only played twenty nine point nine seconds, right right,
stopping Alex right at that point. Yeah, well, dang it,
Now we're gonna have to reenacted, recinging.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
Is that what it is? Twenty nine something seconds? Look
at the score. I'm feeling good about the Oh you
should be good. You got a couple of blowouts right now?
What Whimby's getting blown out?
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Yeah, he is getting it. Look at that. It ain't
bang bang Bang bangs a.
Speaker 5 (32:24):
Little girl on that song though, right, it's only four seconds.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
Yes, we don't have to pay the association. Nope, No,
all right, we.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Might have to pay them as much as we played
that that that drop right there, Rob.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
Ge, what's that quick story about Josh Sweat.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Josh Swet said he should have been MVP. That's what
it was, Rob.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Yeah, he's upset.
Speaker 7 (32:41):
Apparently he told the local be writer in Philadelphia that
he thought that he had done enough and that he
should have and could have won Super Bowl MVP over
his quarterback.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
Get tacky?
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Is that that I was telling earlier? Only slide I'll
give him. I had to hear the tone if he
was like Joe, you know, like how like tone if
he's serious?
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Come on, bro, I know y'all just won the It
ain't even seventy two ninety six hours.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
You already I should have coulda shooter? No, and the
whole thing is come on man.
Speaker 5 (33:09):
Most people said, what stop sa Kwan Barkley and you'll
beat the Eagles? Am I right? Yeah? And Jalen hurt
your boy, Michael, Yeah, Michaeh did it right. That's how
much he knows about defense. But anyway, well look what happened.
I mean, Jalen Hurts had a game, seventy odd yards
on the ground, three touchdowns. Overall, he did great. He
(33:32):
did great, but better than better than people assume that
he was.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
I mean, the defense was the key to me.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
There's no but there's no like, hey, defense, you get
the whole va front line.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
We've seen people buy von Miller won it did fur
years back when Peyton Manny had one hundred and ten
passing yards.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Aaron that one? No? No?
Speaker 5 (33:52):
Or was that was that? Who was a coupper cut
Aaron donal and I wasn't. Stafford had two interceptions three
a Cooper cut winning. But it's not as if you
can give it to a whole front four And how
are you gonna pick out one defender?
Speaker 4 (34:07):
He played very well.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
But if if a quarterback plays remotely good, he's getting it.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
I didn't make the rules. That's just the way it goes.
Players haven't won it.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
They have they have also, by the way, Bruh, just
relax now we already we already went through this with
the receivers and Jalen Hurts and all that. Nick Syrian no,
I just just relax. Let's enjoy this, Let's go to Disneyland,
Let's make some commercials. Let's have a great off season
like we already got. The I should have would have
cut us
