Speaker 2 (05:43):
Phone, I phone the station a studio. I can do
it from me here. I'll be off, better be out.
He shared it with the country station.
Speaker 9 (05:50):
But it's all good.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
You just cracker Jack Joyson Baseball. Definitely, Steve, those are
some great ones, Steve, Steve. Get ready during the break,
I might come in there and I might have you
spit that to my Instagram.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
People need to hear that, all right.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
And of course on the ones and twoes, Married Merritt,
why your bugging? And of course Elijah our social media
who does a great job for us on social media.
All right, let us get started here on this magic
City Monday. And I know the Lakers won the championship
(06:23):
on Saturday night they beat the Nuggets, so now they're
the leading candidate to win the NBA Finals.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Is that? Is that? What it is?
Speaker 4 (06:33):
This ridiculous topic about JJ Reddick is old and apology
is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody owes him, Jack, And I'm gonna
tell you why, and then you can tell me why
you think.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
So it is not wrong for.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
People to question the hiring of someone who has no experience,
not even at the high school level, who has never
been coach, never been a coach in any circumstance. So
that whole idea of people questioning it and doubting whether
or not he could do it is totally legit. It's
not like he was a coach before and people are like, oh,
(07:10):
I don't know if he could coach or not. Well, okay,
And that's not the normal route for most people to
become a coach.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
They become assistants. First, they put in their time.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
We've seen a lot of guys do that, and then
of course they get run out right away. But the
bottom line is that's where we are. And here's the
other part, which is just totally ridiculous. So if you
want that, you want to give him an apology because
they beat the Nuggets, who finally lost after nine straight wins, finally,
and the Lakers played great finally, but nobody said I
(07:45):
want jj Reddick fired or he should be no, no, no,
hear me out when they lost to Portland by twenty
and what was the other game at home Arlotte with
the Charlotte and those games, you weren't saying then people
an apology when he lost those games. So when they
win one big game, nobody owes him an apology.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
It's a big it's a full order.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Let's see what happens if they get knocked out in
the first round.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
That he'll be no better than what Darvin Ham did.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
If he somehow does something more, then we'll talk about that.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yeah, rob G coming in here, put a little Hawaiian
spice up on things. I see what you're doing, Robb G.
Welcome back, rob G.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
No.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
JJ Reddick has one thing I'm looking at with the
Lakers is sometimes in the season, named the sport, named
the league, there's a moment when you kind of go huh,
and you look up. It could be a stat it
could be some new bit of information that you're like, huh.
And one of the things for the Lakers that they've
been doing very well, and I give credit to JJ Reddick,
(08:53):
is that they're fourteen and four in their last eighteen,
which is almost twenty games, which is almost a quarter
of the season. So I gotta give them some credit.
Wars due obviously, I'm similar to you. We both talked
about it. That's not crowned the man, jjman robb teasing
them call them JJ.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Riley is and pat Riley.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
People want to call them that, and yes they both
have cool hair, dudes, but let's not crown him that already.
Let's see what he can do. But right now I
like to give credit wards due. The Lakers are fourteen
and four and the again in the last eighteen best
record in the NBA. First, this is the key part
that if they want to have a chance of doing anything,
they better keep going first in defensive rating, which is
(09:33):
huge because do.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
You think they're a good defensive team. I'm gonna ask
you that, just just forget the number. Do you think
they're good defensive that? They looked really good a few times.
They gotta get it get they gotta get it together.
They got to find a whole They look good against
the Hornets at home. They look lazy, they look curious.
That's all good they have.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
They have to find now that they have Luca too,
They're gonna have to find out a way to play
defense with Luca, whether it's finding ways to keep him
hidden or getting the maximum defense out of him.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
But almost twenty games, I can't knock you.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
If you're first in defensive effort and you're eighth and
offensive rating and third and net rating, and only teams
are behind I mean, and they got great wins over
the Nuggets, they got great wins of the Celtics, they
got wins of the Knicks, the Clippers, and the Warriors
to beat them twice. So I have to give him
some credit for starting to find a nice rhythm overall
in the past almost twenty games. Now everything changes because
(10:27):
they got Luca right, and hopefully for them in a
positive way. Hopefully Lebron, I think, has seen something where
he goes, Oh you mean when I go to the bench,
we're up eight. We don't have to be down one
when I get back in, or fighting for our life
to stay alive, because we got a guy who can
control the offense, who can control the flow of things,
and all of a sudden, we can still be able
(10:49):
to be dominant even if I'm on the bench. Oh
you mean, I don't have to be the best player
on the floor for both teams every night of my life.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
And I may see the best tip player on the
on the court.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
He doesn't even play any defense. You might be offensive player.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
What I'm saying, Rob, I'm not saying he is Dennis
Robin reincarnated.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
You know exactly what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
And so for him, this has to be the most
welcome sight in a very long time for him, that
he can look at the team and say I'm off tonight,
or i can play second fiddle.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
He never felt that way when Anthony Davis was on
the team. Of course he felt like that.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
But I'm saying, specifically from a shot creator, Anthony Davis
is not that. And you know that Anthony Davis is not.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Getting about what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
No, I'm saying specifically, win a championship. Ad is amazing. Nobody,
nobody is taking it away. I'm talking about rob If
you've watched basketball enough to know, we're specifically saying, if
Lebron ain't creating, if he's not the one getting the flow,
that's been the struggle. It's not that Ad can't give
you twenty eight and ten on a lot of nights.
(11:52):
It's that who can get the flow going, who can
get guys act the shot, Who's gonna get that guy
in that corner that three and Luca finally for him
in that sense, presents that since Kyrie irving, another guy
who can create for himself and others, and so that
has to be a welcome side.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
But if they can continue.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Vanderbilt has been great if he stays healthy, because that's
really been the only issue. He's the perfect guy that
just going muck the game up. You saw what he
was doing, getting in Jokis and getting him all ugly
enough the game a little bit. You need that with
a guy like Yokis because he's so dominant. So that
was a great game to see. Everyone was active, everyone
was playing defense, everyone bought in. They're absolutely gonna have
(12:31):
some stinkers here or there. That's just part of the
nature as to continue to try to find a way
to implement Luca. But I gotta give him credit again.
Fourteen to four the last eighteen. That ain't nothing to
sniff sleep on. Almost twenty games, almost a quarter of
the season. To have the best defense and the best
offense to the eighth best offensive rating.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
That's real data. So I got to give him credit.
I was hard on.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
JJ as you mentioned, we should be. He shouldn't just
be welcomed with open arms. Let's see what he can do.
Let's he can prove hisself and the team has been
playing well, So I got to give him credit where
it's due.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Yeah, I'll hold my credit. I'm gonna have it as
a layaway or something. Yeah, he got to go on
layaway because to me, this team, with those players, if
they don't get out of the first round and they
lose like they did a year ago, then the muth
hasn't changed. And that's that's the issue that I have.
I'm not going to be premature and celebrate a stretch
(13:22):
in the season, because if we didn't celebrate it when
they just had the two stinkers out of four games,
when they lost to Portland and they lost to Charlotte,
that wasn't two weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
That was last week, right, and that's in the collective
of the eighteen.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Right, But still last week, you wouldn't be saying you
want to give him credit because they still would have
won twelve out of whatever. You got thirteen out of fourteen,
thirteen out of seventeen. What's the difference you got one win,
because it's just that they beat a good team that
streaking trying.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
To say so, you know, like you wouldn't you wouldn't
bring that up. But I have them a lot of
We've had a lot of conversation. Again, that wasn't a
conversation you would have had. That was a horrible.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
They settled. Charlotte played a great defensive and they went
right at the zone on them. Portland they got lazy
and they were just settling for threes. And when they
do that, they're not gonna win. And Lebron has somebody
where he's in I'm tired, I'm forty. He has somebody
to say, you go do it for the first time
quite some time. Who can create? Ad is amazing, but
he's not necessarily creator?
Speaker 4 (14:24):
All right, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight
seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Do
folks in the sports media, oh JJ Reddick an apology?
Absolutely not, but we want to hear with you. We'll

do you say? He said? I don't have to worry
about Oh that's a good point. That is a good point.
You know, what do you lie for?
Speaker 1 (15:23):
The tire rack dot Com studios tirerack dot Com is
gonna help you get there? An unmatt selection faste shipping
free road has a protection and over ten thousand recommending
his stallars tirerack dot Com the way tied buying should be.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
What were you about to say? My glass? I misplaced
my glasses, so these are my backup.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yeah, but I feel like I got on Jerry Seinfeld's
dad's glasses.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Okay, bring it up, big one, gonna bring it up.
If the things got foggy, we needed squeegee. Yes this
you know big. I'm saying it myself because that's what
I feel. I was gonna ask you, can you you
block in my view of the TVs? Can you scoop
back some maybe? Fact, let me just look through your
glasses real quick. I can see tomorrow through.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Them, all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox?
Does JJ Reddick need an apology? In febru worry? Does
he really? Ken in California, you're on the eye couple
of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
What's up, cass up?
Speaker 9 (16:15):
Ken Ron, I usually got your back, but today you're
you're losing Like Grady on Stafford and Son. When Kelvin
told you the Lakers went fourteen and four, what did
you want them to go? Eighteen to no? Seventeen to one?
Calvin's on part of Today you just may listened to
the subbeat in nineteen eighty seven. You always down the
(16:36):
Lakers in lebron and I'm out all.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Right, Kenny Cally marked that Don Rogie on this day,
On this day in Black History Month, Ken finally said
something about Kelvin.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
He agreed with Mark that town. I know he's always
usually ripped. Yeah, I feel slighted to that. You might, yeah,
look at that. Maybe it's this here today, Mary, Mary,
write that down for me. Drew in New Jersey, you're
on the eye couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (17:00):
Drew?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Drew?
Speaker 10 (17:03):
So I don't think that we owe him an apology?
Because I don't believe. I think it's an opinion. Opinions,
you know the elevator, they evolve, so but I do
think that he has been an offensive genius, and from
a play caller perspective, their offense looks different and you
can tell scheme lies stematically. He's been a lot even definitely,
(17:24):
so it has.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Been different from when different from the Charlotte and Portland
game last week.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Today start with I know I'm asking him. I'm that serious.
Luca that was last.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
Week not going to have her, But Luca dontrig is
also not going to average fourteen points.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
I appreciate you, Ken Drew. Was that Drew? My bad? Drew?
I think I'm still starting. Casey in Oregon. You're on
the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Casey?
Speaker 11 (17:50):
I love it.
Speaker 9 (17:51):
Calvin, how are you?
Speaker 5 (17:54):
I'm good man.
Speaker 11 (17:55):
Love to show you guys. Always mass you out, my man.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 11 (17:59):
Hey, no, we don't know J J. Redick an apology.
It was a regular season game. Great nice winning Denver,
But I project this team will be out in the
first round, and I really hope they move off Lebron
James in the summer and start building around Luca. I
don't see this team sitting out of the first round,
(18:21):
no way, no, how my gosh.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
See, that's what i'matic like.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I don't think we'll have that same JJ apology if
it's a first round exit like last year, which it
could be depending on how the teams line up.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
That's the big thing.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
So they could play Denver right again, who usually has
their number, or some team that is just you know better.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
See I think is gonna be key, as it always
is for most teams. It is because everybody has that team.
You like, on paper, we absolutely are better than them,
but you're not better than the other team who you know,
maybe have a lower rating, but they just they just
have your number. And that's any It's a weird thing
about sports. There's just certain teams that have your number.
Denver has had the Lakers for the last few seasons.
(19:02):
So that's just one of those teams. If we're gonna draw,
and you wanna draw them later, hopefully they're weren't out
or had gone through it, or you start to find
a better rhythm before you see them. But yeah, there
are certain teams that just have that thing that you
can't you know, just you can't overcome Eddie House on
the way talk some more NBA with him. He's not
sold on the Lakers. Yeah, he's not at all. So
we'll see what you got to say about that. And
some other NBA stories, a couple of them. One of
(19:24):
them we're watching. There's a game happening right now with
one of the guys. That will be Joe el Embiid
right now. It is what's trending with the Thank you
for speaking to USC the Andinburgh School of Journalism, Steven Seger.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Rob G's updating that right now. Robb put some respect
on his name. Anytime you type, you gotta put me
award whatever?
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Okay, I got you. Uh, what'd you make of We're
gonna just jump right into it. The Lakers and Denver
that game, Lakers look very good. Uh snapped Denver's what
nine game winning streak? What'd you make of that?
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Did they? I think the Lakers went out there and
they did what they had to do. I don't I
don't take much stock in that in the seven game series.
Do you think that it could beat the Denver Nuggets
like that? I don't think so. I think that that
will be a seven game series for sure. In my
in my eyes, I'm with you on that.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
I'm with you.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
Yeah, so I don't take too much stock in the
regular season game. A couple of games off of All
Star Break. Yeah, it's cool, it looks good, it's sexy
for the Lakers fans. But you know, when you looking
at it from thirty thousand feet, you know, in that view,
you look at it and say, Okay, it's just one
of those games.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
How do you let me ask you, watching last season,
postseason and then into the Lakers game, why don't more
people and you watch all the games? So maybe I'm
missing something, but it's I understand it's hard on any
two games random night Wednesday night in Charlotte or something,
but it seems like more people would blitz more triple teams.
And when jolkis on the box and four guys, why
(21:54):
don't we quite see that defensive scheme that Minnesota put
on a bunch of bodies and the Lakers kind of
get and I know, one game, but just that defensive
you know, game plan because he's so great.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Well, you're probably gonna see more of that. I wouldn't
expect anything else. But once it gets down to the playoffs,
teams are gonna dissect that and say, hey, like, what
can we do to get him on the move. Because
if he's just on the block and you're looking to
get him to the block, and then you throw it
into him and everybody else play off of him, or
you run a pick and roll, he catches up top
(22:25):
and it's still elbows and box blocks. It's still a
loaded defense. I think what Denver's gonna do. I think
their counter to what they've been seeing is gonna get
him on the move. It's gonna be a lot of movement,
whether it be a screen for him to come up
to set a screen to get to the accent that
(22:46):
they really want. So I'm curious on how Mike Malone's
gonna counter everything that they've been the things that people
are gonna say, oh man, that's how you take the
joker out of the game. So I'm really curious. But
to me, it is getting him on the move and
moving bodies, moving the ball and moving the body.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Let's talk about the New York nikobokers who just can't
beat the Celtics, I guess, and the Celtic I'm just
saying like they cannot get it done there against the Celtics,
they once again beat the Knicks pretty handily.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
What do you make of that.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
As far as you know, the Knicks are the ones
trying to get there and the Celtics are.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
In the way big time.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
And I don't know as as TIB's done enough to
figure out like a way of beating the Celtics or
they just keep doing the same things.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
They're not gonna beat the Celtics. So we have a
better roster, We have better players from top to bottom. No,
no stay to kar Anthony Towns, but we know we've
seen his story before from Minnesota. We know what he's
gonna bring. No shade to Jalen Bronson, who I think
is a phenomenal basketball player. But at the same time,
(23:58):
when you look at their roster, you know Michel Bridges
is a good basketball player, Anonobi. All those guys are
brought in to play defense. They're not brought in to
play defense and score, you know. So when I look
at the Knicks roster, I mean they got two Salakins
and that normally doesn't happen. And I said this yesterday
on air when I was in the pregame show. I
(24:21):
was like, you gotta be careful on a team that
gets blue out when they come back when they're a
good team because most of the time they're motivated, especially
if it's going against one of those teams. And the
Knicks didn't look motivated. And I can't blame that on Tibbs.
I got to blame that on the players. They didn't
look motivated. It was times there where you almost wanted
(24:45):
to turn the TV off because they was getting blue out.
You know, they made that run in the third quarter
they cut it to eight, But for the most part,
I think the Knicks just they missing Hartenstein. They have
no rim protection. They ca rebound the basketball. And last
year that was their their their calling card was offensive
(25:06):
rebounds and protecting the rim, and they had and both
of those things are lacking right now for the Knicks.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Not to mention Eddie, I mean, at some point, you
feel like they're gonna be gas because you know how
Timms runs his teams all the way to e.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Eddie House, our guests. He's been doing it forever.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
I know, That's what I mean. I mean, you come
playoffs there, they're gonna be tie yer Eddie. I want
to go bring it back to the West a little
bit up in the Bay five and won. The Warriors
are now with Jimmy Butler, they've gone up. I think
it's like nine points per game with Jimmy. Draymond is
out here, you know, promising championships, and I know that's
just Draymond being Draymond. But they do look better. Uh
(25:42):
for the small sample size, what do you make of them?
Is this is this real? Is this tangible? Or is
this just they're feeling good right now in the honeymoon face?
Speaker 5 (25:49):
They do look better. Uh. Five and one looks really good.
The one thing that I will say never, I'm never
gonna better against Steph Curry. I've told this story before
and then maybe you guys never heard me tell this story, but.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
You never bet again. So Patrick mahomes either before the
super Bowl, but go ahead.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
I no, but I'm saying I could never. I can
never discount or say they're they're not gonna be there,
or can they win a series. I was at the
Finals in twenty twenty two and I remember looking at
Jason Tatum and I'm like, I'm sitting courtside next to
the owner with gross picks and we're sitting right next
(26:27):
to me.
Speaker 11 (26:27):
John.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
I'm like, hey man, let's go stop score, stop score,
And I'm clapping my hands like you know what I mean, Like,
I'm excited. And I remember Steph walking and looking at
me in his face that he had stone cool killers, right,
and I said, ooh, like, I know what that look
looks like. Okay, So when you have somebody like that,
(26:50):
I can't ever discount I can never say that they're
not gonna be there and it's not. I don't think
it's not because of anybody else. Shit, we excuse me.
We seen it in the Olympics right when it needed
to be, in the first quarter of the Olympics. Death
is one of those guys. And so when I've seen that, look,
(27:11):
I can never say, hey, man, you know, I'm not
gonna discredit it. And I don't think they're always in
every series. They're gonna always be in every series. There
always be every game. When they got a guy like that,
when he could turn it on, yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
I mean I totally I watched that the whole uh
was it the Golden And I forgot the name of it,
but yeah, that documentary is really good. And he's just
when he gets locked in like that, man is he
he is something to see for sure, And so.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
With him and tell you, hey, look, I'm telling you
the look he gave me though, Like, well, when he
cut his eyes at me, it was like how a
lion would be looking at something that they about to
go eat, you know what I mean. I was like, oh, okay, yeah,
I've seen it before with the greatest of the great
and so I can never you know, discredit him, all right.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
One last thing, Joe El Embiid. Of course, that's just
the injuries and what's going on. And it's a sad
story obviously, and if you're the Sixers, just it just
cripples you. But if you're the Sixers and Embiid, do
you have to think about, you know, maybe stepping aside
to get right again, or you know, what do you
(28:19):
do there?
Speaker 5 (28:22):
My thing would be is get healthy. I feel like,
as much as it was great for him to go
win a gold medal this summer, we seen him in
the playoffs flint and around with the big ass knee
brace and his leg looked two times bigger than his
other leg because he had all of the stuff on
there with the braces, And so when I think he
(28:45):
should have got healthy, this is me and I can't
speak for another man, but if I was in that situation,
I don't know what I would have done. Maybe I
would have win and got a gold medal, you know
what I mean. And that's something you could put on
your resume. So I'm not saying that he was long
for doing it, but in the in the grand scheme
of thing, and you look at it like that was
(29:06):
time to get healthy and be ready for the season.
They're gonna low manage you anyway. I don't know where
Philly goes from here. I have been on this on
my podcast Straight Game Podcast Guys to uh you know,
uh subscribe is on every platform. And I always said
(29:26):
from the beginning when we started talking about this at
the beginning of the season, was the organization has to
let everybody know that this is Tyree Tyrese Maxi's squad,
you know what I mean. There's nobody else that you're
building around except Tyreese Maxi. Joe Ellenbid, thank you, you
know what I mean. But you're not the guy that
(29:49):
we're building around. We're building around Tyree's Maxi because as
he goes, that team goes. So I just feel I
feel bad because I don't ever see nobody go go
go out like that, you know, with injuries I'd like
to see guys be out there, no doubt already.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Man, appreciate you. Thank you so much. Edie.

now is forty eight and forty nine.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
There you go. I'm gonna break over if I'm all
of a come beat. If I go too and one,
then I'll be right there five hundred, yeah, three and
oh I'll be over five. Crew, Let's go three and
oh yeah, I'm looking forward. You go, what so God,
here we go. My best bet the Brooklyn Nets minus
two and a half. They get ordered the Washington Wizards.
I was gonna say, wash the Wizards, Oh that's my best.
(32:08):
But I got the Nuggets minus four and a half.
Coming off that loss to the Lakers, I'm like, they're
playing the patients in Indiana.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
I don't care.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
They're gonna win, yeah, because that was not what they
wanted there at one nine in a row and they were.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Up by a twelve. That's a good one. I like that.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
And it was only four and a half, not crazy.
And they got the Pistons minus one and a half
in Detroit taking on the Clippers Pistons minus one and
a half.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
They're down by three right now, time.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
Nuggets minus four and a half and the Brooklyn Nets
minus two and a half. And remember, Calvin, what's that.
I'm not telling you who to bet on. I'm telling
you who I bet on.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
All right, there you have it. Not mad at those picks. Man,
The Wizards, my gosh, here's a question for you. Are
the Wizards ever going to be favored the rest of
the season? No, Rogie says, no. That's just horrible that
you won't be favored in a single.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
They're so bad they only got nine wins. It's bad.
That's horrible.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Man.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I know you talk about Kyle Kuzma, who, thank you god,
he is at the Bucks. And they're not playing like
you would hope, but they're gonna be in the postseason
and once you get in you never know. You got Giannis,
you know what I mean? Like Dame, maybe something can happen.
My gosh, Putrid are the Wizards?
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Roger? Who you been hanging around? Aside from the family,
I know the family, the big vacation.
Speaker 7 (33:25):
There were so many celebrities in Hawaiians, so many, but
one topped them all easily. On my flight back to
Lax sitting I believe in first class. I wouldn't know
because I was a pre border you know what that
life is done? Yeah I do, and my for my money,
the single greatest active athlete in the world right now
(33:45):
was on my flight back to lax Okay.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
None other.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
So wait a minute, Adam Swrobrigez was on your flight,
not active Ron Okay Lebron.
Speaker 7 (33:56):
That would have been a good guess, but even better
than Ben Patrick, Joey Jaw's chestnut was on my flight.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Back, rob rob G, you got you got way too
much more dominant athlete in the world right now, rob G.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
When they put the pig on this what is it?
Skew things? They have to cook it all the way?
Are you eating like raw park I mean, like seriously,
I mean, you got a bad piece of ham when
you're out Tiger woods an athlete?
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yes he is?
Speaker 7 (34:28):
So how is tiger and athletes chestnuts eating food is
not athletes?
Speaker 2 (34:33):
First of all, respect on Kobayashi's name. He's respect name. Okay.
I don't know if he's better than Rob kob my goat.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
Yeah, you want to talk and put some respect on
Rob Parker's not two three weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
When I was that's right?
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Am I an athlete after eating like competitively?
Speaker 2 (34:55):
Yet then you cannot. I'm not gonna lie. I'll do
tricken wings competitively. I can do it.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
And you were a d one athlete in this if
we're talking food competitive I mean, dude in New Orleans.
I'm not saying you were all pro, but you at
least got a scholarship. The way you were putting in
work down in New York, I did do. You went
to Duke North Carolina, like a really good school.
Speaker 7 (35:16):
You were training your body. I saw the build, the
crescendo for Thursday and Friday. It was like, I gotta
eat protein early, save room for the carbs because then
I'm gonna have a snack in between. So you saw
the stomach stretch, stretched stretch. By Friday, it was like
a vacuum leader pop my stomach.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
It was impressive.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
I'm not gonna lie me around now now you've been
doing week three.
Speaker 12 (35:42):
To hang around there, have my head turn. You don't
have his glasses on. That's why my side felt. Dads,
what am I wearing tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (35:54):
That?
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Look? Oh Mary he came. Don't say Mary's all mad at.
Speaker 6 (35:59):
Us this, he's mad I am I am at a show?
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Do you know that that Jilil White was the guy
with us. Stephaner Cow Yes, Stephan Erkel was here. Yeah,
what a great guy, What a great guy. He was
doing the hot yoke. I wouldn't know.
Speaker 6 (36:12):
Yeah, I didn't tell me that he was coming in.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
We didn't know. It was just pure la. We were
in that mood when you saw him.
Speaker 7 (36:18):
Yeah, because every time I see a celebrity come out
of high yoga, they look miserable.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Now he was.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
He could tell you his work. He was sweating, he
was you know, whatever was going on there, it served
his purpose.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
And then we saw him before he went in with
his wife, and I just said, hey, he's like, oh,
y'all are right here. I was like yeah, I said
come over after you're done, and he came over.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Yeah, he could have come on the show. We're gonna
get him on the show. Yep.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Chador Sanders, what's happening with him? Will tell you Fox
Sports Radio
