feel like, whether it's one year or two years or

three years that you're in the tournament, there are guys
that haven't won, mainly because they haven't had like a
great supporting cast. I just want to say, like, as
far as the recent players, there's only been one player
I remember that's been a lottery draft pick that's been
like a star in the NBA in the last like
thirty years scoring Trey Young as far as leading the

league and scoring, I mean, guys are not scoring at
a pace as they did forty fifty years ago. They
weren't getting thirty something points and twenty rebounds. But very
young in my eyes, in the last twenty thirty years,
he's the only guy that literally dominated like that in

he still ended up being a star in the league. No,

He immediately drops and just grabs his knee and is
going through it, and I'm like, dude, just shredded all

And the thing about it is, this is gonna go
to be like a mute point. As I'm laughing, we
are so insensitive. Now I'm looking at the video and
I'm like, I'm I think the only person who is like, guys,
he's for real hurt.

He seriously.

I hope that even if he signed a waiver, that
the Hawks take care of him. But yeah, no, that
was not fun to watch like he was. It looked
like an athlete when they go down like way he
grabbed his knee and everything like that.

So it was so to nobody, he's that was a
definitely slip the floor.
Speaker 2 (34:03):

You literally couldn't slip like that if you tried naturally,
something was on the floor there, And I was like, wow,
Like that'll stop team from doing it. That's a great point, really,
because you know, you're if the Hawks get sued or
whatever it is, I'm assuming there has to be a
waver to come down on the.

I'm trying to I mean something. Yeah, I mean, maybe
that's why they find the fans earlier. You got.

Because that better not been one of those we need

But you know what else, this can't be the first
time somebody got hurt, you know what I'm saying, Like
being down on the floor.

Is you know, you obviously love baseball. You cover it
if you look at the and this is all sports
but baseball. The only reason I bring it up is
because I saw a whole HBO Real Sports, uh episode
about it on the back of your ticket.

Oh yeah getting hit.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yeah, They're like, hey, by the way, you might get
hit with the ball, you might get hit with a bat.
You might just let you know, you might even die.
But the no, no, no, no, I have to put that
in it because bats and balls go into the stads, and.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
That woman has died. That the woman died, and so
they you know what put.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
The squad why they put the netting up. It's because
there was a young girl got hit.
Speaker 10 (35:11):
With a foul ball and she died, according according to
the Indiana Pacers. So I'm assuming this is NBA wide,
but all participants must sign a waiver to be eligible
to do any bold and capitalize their activity on the court.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
I believe it.

There's no way that he got on the court without
a waiver. But but if they can look at it,
and and my thing would be, if you had a lawyer,
you still could say the floor was wet. It wasn't
like he was out there just playing it right and
in the midst.

Yeah, that's a great point. And Robert say, it is
real quick.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
I've been on several game shows and when you go
through the whole walkthrough, they have lawyers that are there
for you and they will walk you. Hey are you
they stop you? So TV makes it look everything's off
fast paced.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
You know how TV.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
No, they take the lawyer comes to you after and
before get how'd you fit?
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Was everything? Or how did this look?
Speaker 1 (35:58):
If you lose, they had to make make sure okay,
did they lose the right way? Okay? So you have
a lawyer, it's an advocate for you. They make sure
you know all the rules, you know everything. And to
your point, a lawyer can look within shooting a shot, Sure, fine,
he hurts his wrist, that's just part of shooting shot.
Speaker 5 (36:13):
But there was a spot on the floor that caused
his injury. That that's you can't wave that the floor
wasn't properly drop.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
And you wonder if maybe it's out of court thing
like where we won't sue, but something out of court
and medical bills or whatever. If you don't take care
of the bills and you get a year worth of
Atlanta Hot games.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Well, yeah, you get any section you want because you
have plenty of seats. I'm just saying, we.
