A little.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
The klempt are sad that the Lakers did not Yes,
let them cry, let go ahead, because everybody had the
Lakers going to the NBA Finals after they got Luca,
and guess what, it didn't happen. Alex, ask me if

(02:40):
the Lakers are going to the NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Rob, I got a question for you.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yes, are the Lakers going to the NBA Finals?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Not this year?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Sorry about that. They will not be making it.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
And we'll get all into that and talk about the
the Lakers and who's to blame and all the other stuff.
Just an amazing night the Minnesota Timberwolves. Of course, moving on,
all right, let's welcome in the Odd Couple crew because

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Elijah, Yes, Elijah who uh let him.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Your name, media guru.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I barely got it out, but uh it is what
it is, uh and what a show for you. So
let's start here. As I said, Kelvin will be joining us.
We want to get plenty of your phone calls to
get involved with this. And there are a lot of
angles to this, obviously, and it kills me today. All

(04:11):
these analysts who all had them going to the finals
now have used the term.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Oh they got a Floyd roster.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Oh you know this didn't go right and players did
do that, yes, and all the excuses and want to
make excuses for jj Reddick. Remember they had a great
defense during the season and he had turned that around
and all those other things.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
And on a night when ant man Anthony Edwards.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Shot five for nineteen, oh for eleven from three, guess
what the timberwel still won in la At Crypto Dot
com Arena.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yes, how was that possible? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Man, that a terrible game and you had Luca Lebron
and you could not win. Disgraceful. Do not let the
Lakers off the hook. Do not let all of these
talking heads radio, loudmouse, all.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
These people who were beating a drum.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
ESPN dot com asked their NBA reporters and writers who
were they gonna pick in this series? And I believe
it was eleven people. They all picked the Lakers, all
of them. And now, of course the Lakers have a
flawed roster. That's the way to try to save face

(05:46):
and try to protect Lebron James because of course, whenever
he loses, it's because they have a flawed roster because
of the coaches.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Good right, Darvin Ham was the problem.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
And they went out and got JJ Reddick, who had
no experience and he's gonna learn on the job. Who
blew Game four when he played the same five players
the entire second half, who didn't make any adjustments.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Did you see Rudy Gobert or should I say Will Chamberlain?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Twenty seven points, twenty four rebounds?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Is this on twenty four rebounds in a playoff? There
was nobody there, no rint protector. We talked about it.
I told you time and time again, I didn't buy
into the Lakers. Do you remember they were asking me
to apologize for JJ Reddick because the Lakers were rolling

(06:43):
when they got Luca. Oh my god, they stole Luca.
Did you see Luca standing there on defense like a
like a statue, People blowing by him left and right.
The Timberwolves attacked him because yes, he can score points,
but he gives.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Him up on the other end.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Nico Harrison, you guys, drag that dude, the GM of
the Mavericks to the mud.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
He stinks. How could he make that trade?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Nico Harrison slept like a baby last night saying that
this is what he was talking about.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
To win a.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Championship, you gotta play some defense. You can't play just
one side of the court. And my biggest point of
all in saying all of this is very simple and
Lebron James's last three appearances in the playoffs, the last
three with the Lakers. He is now two and twelve,

(07:43):
two and twelve, two and twelve with Anthony Davis and
two and twelve with Luca. Really, so he's had ad
and Luca on his squad and he's two and twelve

(08:03):
in the NBA playoffs.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
And he looked all of forty.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Last night, I got one message to Lebron James, ay,
you deserve all of this because you keep messing around
with the teammates, the roster. At least you won a
championship with ad messing around with the roster, messing around
with the coaches. Told Darvin Ham, who took it to

(08:30):
the Western Conference finals and won an end season tournament,
you'll hang up better.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
He was no good.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
You get your podcast partner, JJ Reddick with no experience
and guess what he.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Got out coached and looked terrible.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
And you can point to JJ Reddick, but the bottom
line remains, Lebron James should retire.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Pull the plug. Forty years is enough. You're forty years old.
How long do you want to play?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
You want to keep losing, You want to not like
get to the point where you're not even making the playoffs?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Is that the endgame? Lebron? Stop it already. What are
you trying to do?

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Because if you think the longer you play, you're actually
gonna get closer to Michael Jordan.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I'm here to tell you.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
The longer you play and the more you lose, the
worst off it gets. Most people don't think that you're
the goat anyway, But after these last three years, how
can anybody in their right mind think Lebron James is
the goat when he's two and twelve and been knocked
out of the playoffs in his last three first rounds?

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Really?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Is that where we are? Come on, man, stop it,
pull the plug. Even Tom Brady eventually had to just
pull the plug. Pull the plug on it. It's ugly,
going to FuG enough. Go wait till next year. You
think he's gonna get better defensively or have more energy

(10:07):
in the fourth quarters as he gets older.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
It doesn't even make sense to me.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
You don't get better when you get older, You get slower,
tired and more tired. Go rewatch the tape and watch
the game from last night.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
It was bad.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
The time has come and if Lebron can't do it,
I hope he has some friends of minions or maybe
even his family to say, hey, it's time to come
on home. You've done enough. What more do you want?
Alex Am I crazy or not?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
No, Rob, do you want to know why?

Speaker 4 (10:42):
It's funny because if you look at like the historic
history of the Lakers, what's the one thing that they're
subserviently always abiding by stars?

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Right?

Speaker 4 (10:50):
They let Kobe play as long as he wanted, have
his whole final farewell season. And of course he's done
a lot for him, But when do you cut your losses?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
And so the thing with Lebron that actually makes me
laugh everything correct, what has he really done for the Lakers? Like, truly,
he won a Disney championship when nobody was able to
walk in front of fans. Congratulations, you played in a
fake arena with fake fans with nobody around. Good job, Like,
what have you done like when it actually counts? Where
have you been to show anything? And this is the
funniest thing is he's complained since day one. When you

(11:18):
say about coaches, it's funny, like look it up, dude,
I literally look this up. Oh, Walton Walm's the problem.
Let's get rid of him. So then Vocal comes in.
They win a championship, Mickey Mouse won, Let's keep him
around for two years. Oh they start sucking again. We
gotta get rid of him too. Here's Darvin Ham. Oh
again we suck and we keep losing, so now it's
gotta be jj reddick, right. I just don't think it's
kind of like conceptually understandable by sports fans that we're

(11:39):
just allowing the image of Lebron James to dominate whatever
he wants now. And it's funny because it's like we're
looking up to an old man who's past his prime
and we're still sitting here saying he's the best in
the world. Yet you just said at literally did nothing
and they won, Like, isn't that Anna walks guess, and
then he walks round in La saying I sent y'all home.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Did you see that video on social media?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
And nobody's walking the streets of La and saying I
sent you a home? And everybody was saying, oh, the
Lakers in five not even like a close series. The
Lakers in five mean a whitewash, that they were gonna
bum rush them, that they were gonna roll over them,
and the idea that that's.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Where they are in that wild So you gotta retire Rob.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Somebody says Rob's articles, they don't hit the same Rob
on the radio, It don't hit the same You gotta retire?

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Is that what you're.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Saying, no, you don't have to retire with you when
you're forty years old playing in the NBA and you
can't defend anybody, and you can have the same thing
happen over and over and you play a fourth quarter
where you get no points.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
That is not the Lebron James that we know.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Come on, man, you know it, I know it, And
to continue to watch this is crazy.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
He doesn't have to retire.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
What he has to do is acknowledge that he can
no longer be the best player and to be on
a championship caliber team, he can't even be the second
best player. That's just not a reality to be able
to depend on him at this point. You mentioned on
the defensive end of the side of the ball. Absolutely,
you're right. And if you're Rob Linka, you can't pair

(13:22):
a forty something year old who can defend like he
used to with a guy in Luca who doesn't defend.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
And while you go more on Lebron, mine is more
on Luca.

Speaker 6 (13:33):
This has to be Luca's nineteen eighty four from Magic
loses to Bird and them in the finals. They called
him tragic Magic, and he said, you know what, I'm
not as good as I think I am.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
I have to get better.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
And he dedicated himself to his game, to his craft
and got a bag of new tricks, started shooting the jumper,
more knock down free throws. That has to be Luca. Luca,
you've been good, good to great. You gotta lock arm
and arm lebron. What do you do to get in shape?
No, no going home. You got two weeks to go home
and that's it. You gotta come back. You have to

(14:07):
work out, You have to invest, you have to get better.
You don't always have to start the offense from forty
feet away from the basket. How about you go back
to the Kobe Carmelo, Paul Pierce, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant,
all those guys who start at the elbow. Why does
Luca always have to be dribbling million times at the top?
And to me, Luca has to say, I'm the twenty

(14:27):
five year old of entering his prime. I'm the new
face of this franchise. I have to be better. I
can't be coming down, always breaking down at the end
of the season. I have to put in and become better.
I'm Michael Jordan. You got a bunch of scoring titles.
You fly through the air, you got a couple of
dunk contests, but you ain't beating the pistons.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
And he went away. What did he do?

Speaker 6 (14:49):
He got stronger, he got better, he figured it out.
And Luca this is his figure it out season. To me,
you need to You're good, Luke, we all know how
good you are, but can you become that next level
of greatness? And to me, that's what this summer is
for me. Dedicate yourself. Lock into the gym, not just
all our shooting. I'm shooting, No, lock into everything so

(15:11):
you can get to that level of greatness that we
believe you can. And Rob lacoln Yeah, you landed the
big Shark, the big whale and Luca, but we all
literally knew, even those who thought they could win the
series all knew they didn't have enough upfront.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
That's fus bs. How can you sit here and say.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
After after all these people picked them to go to
the finals, now because they lost, they don't have enough.

Speaker 6 (15:38):
No, No, because you freaking rop you can know something. Be officient.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Them said they were coming back from they were gonna
win the next three games. How did you go to
that to that if they don't have enough, Well said
that yesterday they're picking in seven.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
I was meet just teasing saying the Lakers and Pistons
and seven that was a whole different thing. But but
they absolutely, we all knew they needed size. That's why
everybody was excited they got Mark Williams. Size was never
a question. You just assumed, not literally you, Rob Parker,
but one would assume, well, Luke and Lebron and obviously
the Austin Reeds you can be enough side was always needed.

(16:17):
But I agree there's no way you can let Rudy
Gobert look like Rudy abdul Jabbar. That is just blasphemous
that you absolutely can't have that. So they absolutely have
to find a remedy for that at some point because
that is problematic.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Now, the last point I'll make Rob real quick for me.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
When you and I made our preseason picks, who's going
to the NBA Finals, I believe it correct me from
you had the Nuggets and the Celtics. I had the
Timberwolves in the Celtics and I didn't expect them to
beat the Lakers. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna sit
up here in front of you. But the reason I
picked the timber Wolves originally is because of what I
expected them to do the last twenty five games.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
They but but but.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Given that, you still didn't pick them when the series
came around on that No, No.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Because you believed that the Lakers had enough.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
You believe, you believe that.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
I was about to say, I want up you. You're right,
you can take out the errors Luke and Lebron.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
And everybody else, hook Line and Sinker and they Roan
ain't the same guy.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
And the reason now you're looking and look, now you're looking.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
When Nico Harrison talks about you need defense to win championships,
and everybody mocked him and all that about Luca, Luca
don't look as great as he did before he came
on this trade or last year. Here he does it,
here's the one. You watch that game last night. There
ain't no way you can look at that and go
he's gonna get better defensively.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
You really believe that, And that's where we fundamentally disagree.
I don't need him to be better if I'm building
around that. I've named you ten twelve guys who are champions,
sometimes multiple champions. Dark Na Vincent can't guard Rob Parker
right now, but he's a champion. Yoki couldn't guard Rob Parker,

(18:01):
Kevin Washington right now, he's a champion. Steph Curry has
never been Gary Payton when it comes to the defense.
Larry Bird was never I can go down the line
who were never that great. My point is you have
to build around that. So that is exactly what you
have to do. Knowing these are his shortcomings, knowing Shaq
doesn't build free toes, but I can do this around him,
Knowing that this champion here doesn't do this, but I

(18:22):
can build around that. That's just that's my job and
responsibility as a general manager to understand your shortcomings because literally,
Michael Jordan and maybe Pete Lebron and if you want
to say Pete Kobe are like the only perfect guys
here or there, meaning everyone has some deficiencies, but you
coached around that. I know Shaq can't shoot threes and

(18:43):
shoot free thos, so I have what do I have?
Literal spot up shooters all around him everywhere he's gone,
and I have a guard and at Kobe or Dwayne
Wade or Penny Hardaway.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
That's my job.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
So Luca is never going to be a great defender.
What I want is effort. What I want you to
be in the best shape, do the rest what you're
doing scoring, and I will build a round that because
that is not your fourteen.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
It just that that whole thing, just I'm gonna be honest,
makes no sense. They were in a do or die
game at home, right and a chance to did you
watch the defense? This was your chance to make a
comeback to stop that to win. Nobody expect Minnesota to
win in an elimination game in.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
L three And did you watch scree?

Speaker 1 (19:25):
I mean you and you couldn't get up for that game?
What what are you getting up for next year?

Speaker 6 (19:30):
And the problem to add to the problem in this
is why I have issues with with Lebron and Luca,
but specifically Luca.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
For me, you guys going to the fourth quarter? What
were they down?

Speaker 7 (19:40):
Ian?

Speaker 5 (19:40):
Were they down one?

Speaker 8 (19:41):
In? Ian?

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Ain't paying me no to Ian?

Speaker 6 (19:44):
Were they down? I think they were down one starting
the fourth or maybe the up one. It was like
within a one or two point game. My point is
they showed on the screen during the game the point
in differential in the fourth quarter. Every game it was
plus six for the Timbrels plus seven, plus thirteen, plus eight,
and then they go into this four saying what's gonna happen?
And exactly what had happened the previous four games is
what happened. Were they the Lakers you thought would be

(20:07):
the ones who could execute. Maybe it was a tight
Nick and Nippin tug game, but you expected Luca and
Lebron and Austin needs to execute towards the end. And
that's where I'm most disappointed was that they didn't. That's
the that's the advantage they were supposed to have. If
it's five minutes left and it's a plus or minus
four point game, and I got Luca and Lebron.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
That all right?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. I'm saying Lebron
has to retire. Retire, step beside. It doesn't matter what
he's doing. I'm telling you what he needs to do.
It's a difference between the two. I'm telling you he
needs to retire. And you can sit there all day
and talk about hoping that Luca's gonna play defense next year,

(20:50):
Good luck with that, because that ain't happening. He ain't
playing defense at twenty five. He ain't playing defense at third.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
Lebron will may make all time third NBA team has
to retire.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
Roup Come on eight.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Seven, seven ninety nine on Fox after that performance two
and twelve in the postseason. It's a TV theme Song Thursday,
Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington right here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Stick and stay.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
If you also believe the Lakers should finally wise up
and just trade Lebron in the US of AA, be sure.

Speaker 9 (21:23):
To catch live editions of The Odd Couple with Rob
Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm Eastern, four
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
It's the Couple Robin Kelvin on a TV theme Song Thursday.
Checking it out with our guy, the hardest working man
in the business, Antonio Daniels, former NBA player, Pelicans analysts
A Daniels thirty three on x AKA Twitter.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
What's up Ady?

Speaker 8 (21:49):
What's up? Fellas? How you doing doing?

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Good?

Speaker 6 (21:51):
Man?

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Great?

Speaker 2 (21:52):
So, Antonio?

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Were you were part of the media award that drank
all of the Lakers kool aid as well?

Speaker 8 (22:01):
No?

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Why why didn't you buy in?

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Where all these people had them with a clear path
not only to win the first round, but to get
to the finals like I just couldn't.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
I can tell you why then by En? I can
I can tell you in a heartbeat, rob why than
by it? Because I don't believe in Big three. I
don't believe in Big two's, especially when they all do
the same thing. We continue to see this year after
year after year. Teams try and skip steps by simply
throwing talent together and thinking that it's gonna work. Phoenix,

(22:36):
No it's not gonna work. Brooklyn, No, it's not gonna work.
You can go down the list. The Lakers. The thing
that I liked about the Lakers initially was just the
fact that they had the star power and the far power.
My question was not in the regular season, when you're
gonna play Charlotte on one night, and then Utah the
next night, and then the Pelicans on the next night,

(22:56):
and then where you can look really good on certain night.
I'm talking about the postseason. How is it going to
look in the postseason with Lebron next to Luca, next
to Austin Reeves?

Speaker 6 (23:07):
And we got our answers, all right, So jump on
in this one ad. We've been having conversations. Rob said,
Lebron need to retire. I said, bruh average twenty four
to eight and eight or whatever it was. It's absolutely crazy,
uh to me, this is the perfect season for him.
I don't know if you saw Dee Way recently did
it in a podcast. He said that him and Lebron
they decided to lock in the year. They were like,

(23:28):
we gotta win this finals and they were tied together.
And I think this is that offseason for Luca to
study up, how you get in.

Speaker 5 (23:34):
Best shape, what's going out here in Lo and you
do something.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Antonio Lebron is two and twelve in his last fourteen
playoff games.

Speaker 8 (23:44):
Listen, do you know what I won't do. I won't
make this about Lebron. This about Lebron.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
It's not to be honest.

Speaker 8 (23:50):
No, this Andebron Lebron. Lebron forty years old and still
playing high level basketball. He's the best conditioned athlete on
that team. As much as people try and shift this
and deflect this to Lebron, this has a lot to
do with Lucas for some reason. But for some reason,
people don't want to have this conversation because it's easier

(24:10):
to talk bad about Lebron then talk about it.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
That's true.

Speaker 8 (24:16):
Maybe maybe, just maybe maybe what Nico Harrison saw in
division that he saw made sense. Maybe it makes sense.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I've already said that. I'm with you. I've said this,
I've said this.

Speaker 8 (24:32):
Listen. It's unfair. It's unfair for Lebron's James at forty
years old to have to won play the center position
because j. J. Reddick made drastic changes from the regular
season to the postseason. Number two to have to guard
the best perimeter player on the opposing team, because this
Lakers team is not constructed to defend a team like Minnesota.

(24:55):
That's not on Lebron.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Sorry, then do that Ron also, and the look at
his numbers in the fourth quarter, look at the big
turning point game.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
I'm just saying, like, like you could.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Talk about compiling numbers, okay, and I get that. You
want to go look at Lebron. I always score twenty four.
Don't blame him, but that's not how it's done. How
much how much impact did you have? What baskets did
you get when your team needed him? He got They
got nothing from him Land And that's why I'm saying,
how long are you going to play? Sometimes you go overstay,

(25:30):
You're welcome. You're not the same player. How is he
two and twelve his last fourteen playoff games?

Speaker 8 (25:36):
Hey, there's no question he's not the same player Rob,
because he's forty years old. There's no get it. And
no one is saying. No one's saying that he's the saying.
No one's saying that he's the same player. Here's what
I saw Lebron do. Actually, it's funny how it works,
because Lebron's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
You know what people saying, Lebron needs to take a

(25:57):
back seat, and you know what he is. He took
a back seat to Luca. And now you know what
people are saying, Oh, man, you know what, he didn't
show up. I thought he was supposed to take a
back seat.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
A back seat doesn't mean you go scoreless in the
fourth quarter of a deciding game four on the road,
and that's at the den.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
And you know what else that means. What else that
means is your coach doesn't make drafted decisions like at
forty years old, saying you know what, I'm gonna play
you the entire second half.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
I'm JJ Reddick was a bad hire. You can't learn
on the job with a forty year old superstar. I'm
saying it. I'm saying it, Okay, you can't. It's ridiculous, Lebron.
You cannot not have a guy learn on the job.
Have a guy do something playing are all five players?

(26:47):
Come on, man, look at that team.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
I'm not saying it wrong, but think about how many
coaches have learned on the job. Steve Kerr learned on
the job, you know what I mean, Steve?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
And also Steve NAS's learned on the job. How did
that get them? There's plenty of guys who have failed.
There's plenty. There's plenty of what.

Speaker 8 (27:06):
Failed, But there are also some that se se Pabovich
learned on the job, you know what I mean. So
it doesn't there are success stories and failures no matter what.
And after one year of coach, but the difference.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Between pop pop Pop wasn't an assistant coach. JJ was
never a coach zero.

Speaker 8 (27:27):
There are many rob but there are many that weren't coaches.
After one bad, very poor coach postseason series, I am
not at the point. Well, I'm ready to say JJ
Reddit was a bad higher. Hey we're not there.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Hey, Ad, real quick for us, real quick for us.
What are you doing with Giannis? Are you pushing through
another year? He's gonna be Daniel Lillard's gonna be. Okay,
you sound like me, it's todd Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 8 (27:55):
No, Like it comes a point where like there are
certain teams pushed all their chips to the middle of
the table. Now are stuck. Phoenix did this Now their stuck.
They don't have a choice because the three things that
you need they don't have. They don't have financial flexibility.
And Milwaukee as well, they don't have financial flexibility. They
don't have assets as far as drafting this concern, and

(28:19):
they don't have good young players to build around outside
of Yarnis. So if you don't have that, now it's
time to reset. And I don't need I think this
should be a collaboration of you know what, we did this.
We got a championship with this now with time for
both of us to move on. Trade me so you
can get assets, but just send me somewhere that I

(28:40):
want to go.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
All right, Well, we gotta leave it there.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
Ad always great having you on as always well appreciate
your time, my guy, thank you, fir.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
Sure, I appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (28:48):

gonna have something to do with NBA players and their nicknames.
So we will start with this LA Clippers starve forward
Kawhi Leonard. It's been around the league for a long
time now and he has become known by his nickname
The Blank. We're gonna start with Kelvin today.

ready to do this with that type of motivation? Absolutely?

Speaker 8 (30:47):
All right?

Speaker 3 (30:47):
This is a little difficult, but he didn't even care.
He could have said, Alex, you know, we care. We're
already off paper.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
Alex We've already shared our moments so many times. You
Ryan's throughout the day. I'm gonna go with.

If you're saying lobster, it must be clawed, let's go,
that's terrible.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
What else you got that from that terrible?

Speaker 6 (31:26):
Were you gonna say, Robert Lee, I was gonna say bear, Yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Was thinking bear too.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
That wouldn't have got it?

Speaker 3 (31:35):

So this is Kareemn.

What happened to the second question? Where are we going?

Speaker 3 (32:05):
What are you saying? This is the second question?

Speaker 2 (32:07):
No, I got to Detroit. Piston deserve a lot of credit.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
What's on your sheet? Rob?

Speaker 6 (32:12):
He's leading this show. You can't be You can't Alex
Trebek how to run Jeopardy?

Speaker 8 (32:16):

Speaker 5 (32:17):
You can't ask Pat Sajak how to run? And you're
You're fine, Robs. He doesn't necessarily go with the order.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah, Rob, Sorry, we're jumping the order a little bit.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
Yeah, okay, yell at Bob Barker before the point I'm
confused the answers there nonetheless, all right, NBA great Kareem
adul Jabbar was known for his signature shot, known as
the sky blank.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Ben malor up next?

Speaker 6 (33:19):

Speaker 2 (33:21):
The best thing about Alex is that.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
You know, it's a lot of words, and this is
your mentory and Alex is is he's so well versed
on so many things. But anyway, I'm not going to
get into that.

Speaker 1 (33:35):

Speaker 8 (33:49):

you this one because you were clearly ready for this question.
The Detroit Pistons deserve a lot of credit for making
it back into the playoffs this season. The attitude physicality
they play with on the court has led to people
comparing them to an older era of the team known
as the Bad Blank Pistons.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Alex, So are you ready?

Speaker 3 (35:26):

the bad boy Pistons.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
That's correct.

Speaker 3 (35:52):

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Nurse practitioner Jay, Yeah, practitioner Jay.

Speaker 11 (36:48):
Using nicknames flow a little better, Alex, you know that's
kind of cool. Practitioner Yes, the Jays like, what is
