half court, like when the ball's inbounded half court is
completely different than foiling full courts. When the ball's inbounded
half court, a guy can pull up at any time,
especially as skilled as guys are in today's NBA, with
full cord when that ball comes in bounds. We saw
the Detroit Pistons do this to the New York Knicks.

You can allow four five, six, seven seconds to go
up the cut before you actually need to foul. So
there was no reason for Alice Caruso once that ball
was inbounded to foul that quickly. But with all that
being said, with all that being said, if chet Homer
and misses two free throws, if he makes two free throws,
we're not having this. If he makes one free throw,

it changes everything.

But here's the only thing is, you know this, as
long as we've watched the NBA guys miss free throws
in the you know, like, in no situation, Kawhi Leonard,
if he makes that free throw against the.

it wouldn't have mattered.

Even if said Homeren splits those free throws, right, if

now it's a two point game. You get an opportunity
to go back and set a defense. I'm not even
saying that he has to say that he has to
make both. I'm saying, even if he split, the fact
that he missed both free throws now make them up one,

which forces him to have to overreact to Russell Westbrooks
drive a penetration and lead Aaron Gordon open on that
above the break. Three. Yes, so I'm not tripping. I
get exactly what you're saying. But even if he was
to make one of them, that could potentially change that outcome.

can't simulate playoff basketball. So you saw this with Cleveland,

and you also saw it with Minnesota. Minnesota looked they
scored thirty one points in the first half yesterday, So

it becomes a rest verse rhythm conversation. And what I
saw from Minnesota yesterday, they did not have any rhythm,
and they found their rhythm a little bit in the
second half, and I think that will now carry over
for them moving forward. I expect them to win that series.

up the cut before you actually need to foul. So
there was no reason for Alice Caruso once that ball
was inbounded to foul that quickly. But with all that
being said, with all that being said, if chet Homer
and misses two free throws, if he makes two free throws,
we're not having this. If he makes one free throw,

mean they and we knew something was gonna happen. We

Piggins is really good, but it's also you know, kind
of volatile and a little you know, he has the

attitudes of being getting the ball and he kind of
can't necessarily trust him.

But that's a to me. I'm looking at it as
still a bit confused on what.

Exactly the Steelers are doing right now, just in a
sense of you get rid of a guy who is
obviously offensively talented. We know that, and I understand he
again kind of volid at times, but he had been
there one to you bring in DK, but you don't
have a quarterback as of now as we know it
should be could be Aaron Rodgers.

Will have to wait and see. They say that it's

But then they just come out said it's more difficult
to try to understand.

don't think that. But again, they're just in a position
where they have to wait and now. But I was thinking,
like I didn't necessarily see why in the short term

if you're get Aaron Rodgers. We all agree this is
a short term play, right, He's literally forty one year
or two max. So why get rid of talent when
and you would think you'd want to accumulate as much
talent as possible. And Najie Harris has gone, you're running
back who nobody's saying he was Derrick Henry, but he's gone.
Pickens is gone. You know you got some you're struggling offensively,

and you have been. They struggled poorly the last six
seven weeks of the season, even with Russell Wilson, who
would looked good the first four or five.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
So to me, I'm like, I don't know. I just
don't know what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Offense has been their issue now, rob for the last
six seven years really ever since the last little bit
of juice. We've been ropping the defense last year and
then all of a sudden, the thing you hang your
hat on is the defense that started to let you
down a little bit.

So I just don't get the game play.

Usually you see something coming, even rebuilds, right, you see
people getting all right. We can't say it publicly, but
we on a rebuild, you start to see all right,
I see what they're doing, and I just have no idea.
This one of the few times with the Steeler I
just don't know what they're doing. And it's just gonna
be interesting again. They have all the chips on on
Aaron Rodgers, and they they have made it one thing,

they have laid it out there. It's like like I said,
a girl, you have made no calms. I want you
full stop. Whatever you want, I keep telling you dinner
every night, they take.

your goal, but that's at least you have to be
able to do that. And that's why they maybe they
traded for Metcalf because they knew that they were going
to eventually move off for I.

Mean, Metcalf is just I'm not mad at that he
has and they signed them, you know what I mean.

So it looks like they decided that whatever the annex
are or whatever was going on there, they didn't want
anymore of it.

They didn't want any more pickeures.

I don't know if they were having PTSD from AB
they were thinking of, oh, shoot Antonio Brown again, but well, yeah,
would they get that guy?
