fixed because it just looks like, how did they go
from getting beat down the game before to the Thunder?
You know, the Pagers all of a sudden having a
twenty two point lead at halftime, you know, where the
game and they maintained it and Halliburton didn't go crazy.

Fourteen points? I was gonna say thirteen. And he played fine,
he played only twenty three minutes. Of course they didn't
have to play him a lot of minutes. They're up
by twenty two points for most of the game. But
now here we are, and Kelvin, I mean I said
this before, and you know, I picked the Pagerson six
and my whole thing was it just looked like a
team of destiny because of the way that this whole

ride has been and coming back when they should be
counted out and whatnot.

Are with their guy, their magical guy in Halibert, who
didn't have to play a million minutes to just survive

though it's on the road, I feel more confident than
ever that they're going to win the championship. And ok
C is the tight one. They're the young ones, They're
the ones that are gonna have to answer the bell.
And if you fall behind early at home and the

a lot Indiana to me playing with house money on
the road, no expectations. They're eight seven point underdogs, right,
that's not a close.

So I'm feeling good and I think that the Pacers
are going to do what we I can't imagine that
they were gonna do until the playoffs actually started.

Scrap everything I ever thought about basketball, scrap everything that
makes sense, Scrap all the logic, scrap all the well,
if you look at this and fundamentally, if you know
this and the numbers say, because this has been the
wildest playoff, right I can remember in quite some time. Right,
you got a Pistons team that makes it. They win
like thirty games more than they did the year before.
That comes out the blue. Even if you thought they'd

be better. They get in the posts. You know, well,
where did that come from? You got a nick team
that was underachieving all year. You kind of wanted more
for them. They couldn't beat the good teams.

What do they do? They beat the Pistons in they
go beat.

The Celtics and you're like, wait, the Celtics, they're supposed
to be in the championship, trying to be you know,
two time champ or you know, back to back. They
get knocked out, and then Cleveland has been looking like
a world beater on the East while Okac was a
world beater on the West. And Cleveland gets knocked out.
Tyre's Halliburton has made more game winners than some people's
entire fifteen to twenty year careers. In one post, flicking

up Steph Curry. This I'm just saying, and this is
not so none of this has made since. And that
is why this postseason, this finals hasn't even made since.
Now Here's where the thunder went wrong. The thunder got
in there and you've been you've done this before. It's
a beautiful summer day. You can smell the food, the

barbecues there, they started to smell the champagne. They started
already tasted. They could already see the balloons getting ready
to drop. And they got in there and just thought, man,
we got to show up and do what we do
and we're automatically gonna win. And they forgot the Pacers
have been a desperate team that has fought all year,
that has come back multiple times, and that was not
gonna just lay down. And they got in there and

already tastes in the champagne and thinking all we got
to do is show up and we'll be fine. And
that was not the case, and the worst case scenario happened.
They gave the Pacers starters a lot of rest, in
particular Tyrese Halliburton.

Banged up, he's tired.

He got to relax, get his shot going, feeling comfortable,
feeling good. TJ McDonald McConnell had another game where he

Give it that gear was on NBA TV. Get dad,
stay off the TV. We are Tyrese Halliburton Dad, he's
got that. He's a dad of the postseason. But he's

got the guys who will be playing bigger minutes in
place of Tyre's. Halliburton playing very well and confident, and
he got to play well enough and only played twenty

two minutes and he gets an extra day off again,
three days resting up.

That was the worst case scenario.

Now the worst worst would have been had that was
at home, and now the Pacers would be going back home.
Now at least the Thunders still have it at home.
But if you're SGA, this is what you are. The
MVP for your team is gonna perform better, the role
player is gonna play better at home, just like the
same thing happened with the Pacers, and SGA needs to
show why he's the MVP. He did not play well.

Is his worst game of this this finals run. He
looked mortal, and he needs to show them what's up.
But all logic is out the window this postseason. For me,
this makes no sense. The Pacers being there, the thunder,
you know, getting them, have them competing to a game seven,
None of this makes sense except for they have been
the two best teams, as I keep saying, since January first,

the game seven.

of games in the finals, and then they finally lost one.
But can they I believe they're gonna get it right.

In game six, you get a thunder, big time thunder victory.
Worst thing for me was they did it easily, and

they got their Halliburton got the rest. Other guys got
the rest, and they got TJ. McConnell and nim Hart
feeling good and playing another good to great game. And
so now here we are game seven. What did your
takeaway from six?

What was what happened the most frightening thing in the
terms of I have to say, coming into this being
in Oklahoma City, having covered this team, I want to
see that city, you know.

Celebrated finals likely, I truly do, knowing what the thunder means,
so Calaholm the city. But what I saw in game
six was a tight, tight, tight team that forgot how
to play true to its identity. They didn't, right, they
didn't have a turnover, they didn't in the first half day.
Their assists, they had three assists through the first half.

It was it was very inauthentic to thunder basketball and
the basketball that got them to be this, this behemous
of a team to this point. So I'm honestly the
flag has been raised in terms of a little bit
of concern, especially when you look at how special this Pacers.

This is what I was saying, Like they have buck
the odds in every series and they shouldn't be winning.
And they got new life and they got rest in

I'm an eternal optimist. I was at the Western Conference
Finals Game one, and I know I know what Shae
Shaye means to the city. I know what this like
when you look at the components of this thunder ruster
and like how they play, especially with their defensive identity
and and the clinic they put on in game five, right,

and what and how lou Door just shut Palliburton down.

But just the way they they they choked.

that's a that's a taboo word when we're talking sports,
but this was not a great showing on any level
of what of the sal and the way they play.
So now that makes me a little bit concerned. I
know they have a tremendous home court advantage in this season,

but we saw what they did pushing the Nugget Nuggets
this seven games. But like it is something it is
a game with the magic of the Pacers and with
everything that's on the line and the onus that's on
this Thunder franchise to bring home you know, the first
ever Larry O'Brien, Like I I say, this is like,

this is a really close one. And I had the
Thunder winning this series in five.

Yeah, I had him in five to two and they
obviously had the chance to make a six, but that
was not the case.

Well, I think this all actually comes to Carlisle, coach
Carlisle and what he's able to draw for Indiana. Like
but on paper, Indiana is a lesser team than what
the Thunder are and what they've been able to accomplish.
Yet they've been able to overachieve time and time again,

what since January of this year. And I attributed that
to Carlisle. And now that they've been able to eliminate
Chet or find a way to, you know, make him
non threatening, it's either got to be what the players
can produce on the court for Oklahoma City or it's
going to come up to the magic of Indiana time

and time again. And and like I don't it's this
series has been so back and forth on so many levels,
and we've gotten everything out of it Calvin like it.
I just yeah, Chet needs to rise to meet the moment.
But if Carlisle has put his players in a position
that they've figured out this guy who and give it
give it all the Chet like right, He's been overcoming injuries,

so this is his real first postseason right push and
and his moment. I mean, as for a lot of
the players at this stage, like there's a reason these
two teams haven't been on this final stage before. But
it's it's I'm very intrigued to see if it is

a solution that Carlisle has figured out or if it
was a poor performance on Chests part.

If the Thunder lose, this will be enormous because there
was such you guys talked about it. Rob Gau, producer
had him in four and most people, yeah, I was crazy,
but everybody had him in five. They just thought it
was a mismatch that what's better, they've been good all

year and that's not Indiana played well since January, but
still coming in they were underdogs in every series. So
even if they played well, people still thought they didn't
match up or they.

Couldn't beat the team that they played. And this would
be huge because.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
I think people would look back and then wonder about
the Thunder and really how good they were or did
they choke or were they not experienced? The big talk
Nikki was that they weren't experienced enough, that young teams
don't win like this because they don't have the experience
of being there, and that was a concern for people.

Well, I think the narrative is twofold, right. I think
on one level, we got to give credit to this
Indiana team that I think, by and large, a huge,
a huge contingent of media did not see coming. I
think that's one part of it. This Indiana team is special.

They have that sauce. Nobody saw them pushing this to seven.
If they pull it off, this will be a team
that's talked about for years to come. But I think
in a bigger picture, it's not just necessarily about this
young thunder team. I think it's about the ghosts that
haunt Oklahoma City because it was the team of James Harden,

Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant pushing the Miami Heat in the
finals and then be like, hey, this window is going
to be forever. This is a young thunder team there,
and then before you know it, James Harden's gone, It's
Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and they never get and then
they get beat by the Warriors in the twenty sixteen
Western Conference Finals. And it's Sam Presty who's the archetype

and the mastermind, and he's been a masterful job and
he has people saying, oh, okay, this could be the
worst iteration of this thunder squad. They're going to win,
not one, not two, not whatever, like how many how
many rings are coming to Oka? See, I think that's
the bigger, like right like picture of this team and

the ghost that Sam Presty is chasing, which, to no
fault of his own, it just shows how hard it
is to win an NBA championship.

So the question becomes how good can he be? And

is he a franchise changer? He's absolutely gonna be a
franchise player, I meaning he's the best team player on

here's my issue. I get it the comparisons because Larry
Bird's white, a great white American basketball I get.

get all that, but I think it's just such a reach.

I'm dead, sir, as somebody who was covering the NBA
during that time watching Larry Bird. I didn't watch him
on YouTube. I saw this guy play. He was a monster,
he really was. And Larry Bird, let me just give
you talking about Cooper Flag is going to be the
next Larry Bird.

Can I tell you Larry Bird is the only person
in NBA history. Did you hear me saying only Rookie
of the Year Most Valuable Player, Finals, MVP, All Star, MVP,

They made this mistake before. And I'm not saying that

a college player, wasn't a great pro. He was good,
he was good, he wasn't great. One All star right appearance.

And here's the other thing. And we mentioned Grant Hill
and some other duke players. They don't have a big
history of great NBA players. Now, Grant Hill could have
been different if they didn't have the injuries.

just saying it was great, yeh. But but we didn't
get to see it in full seven more years of
Pete Graham. We didn't see it. Zion.

Anticipation and the expectations are way too lofty to mention

gonna wind up, it ain't gonna.

several time all star. I think that is kind of

Davis thing, This is a Kyrie Irving thing. Guys who

Ben Simmons, guys who became these like all were we
know that come in this number one pick. Guy who've
done nothing but play basketball since they were four and
five years old.

I play my basketball team for high school. I playing
an AAU team. I'm playing a travel team. I play

a weekend because I mean the AAU got this game
on Saturdays. And then guess what too, I'll play in
special games like a cool playing the show. Gus and

from getting beat down the game before to the Thunder?
You know, the Pagers all of a sudden having a
twenty two point lead at halftime, you know, where the
game and they maintained it and Halliburton didn't go crazy.

Fourteen points? I was gonna say thirteen. And he played fine,
he played only twenty three minutes. Of course they didn't
have to play him a lot of minutes. They're up
by twenty two points for most of the game. But

this before, and you know, I picked the Pagerson six
and my whole thing was it just looked like a
team of destiny because of the way that this whole

ride has been and coming back when they should be
counted out and whatnot.

didn't have to play a million minutes to just survive

ever that they're going to win the championship. And ok
C is the tight one. They're the young ones, They're
the ones that are gonna have to answer the bell.
And if you fall behind early at home and the

a lot Indiana to me playing with house money on
the road, no expectations. They're eight seven point underdogs, right,
that's not a close.

So I'm feeling good and I think that the Pacers
are going to do what we I can't imagine that

makes sense, Scrap all the logic, scrap all the well,
if you look at this and fundamentally, if you know

wildest playoff, right I can remember in quite some time. Right,
you got a Pistons team that makes it. They win
like thirty games more than they did the year before.
That comes out the blue. Even if you thought they'd

be better. They get in the posts. You know, well,
where did that come from? You got a nick team
that was underachieving all year. You kind of wanted more
for them. They couldn't beat the good teams.

What do they do? They beat the Pistons in they
go beat.

The Celtics and you're like, wait, the Celtics, they're supposed
to be in the championship, trying to be you know,
two time champ or you know, back to back. They
get knocked out, and then Cleveland has been looking like
a world beater on the East while Okac was a
world beater on the West. And Cleveland gets knocked out.
Tyre's Halliburton has made more game winners than some people's
entire fifteen to twenty year careers. In one post, flicking

up Steph Curry. This I'm just saying, and this is
not so none of this has made since. And that
is why this postseason, this finals hasn't even made since.
Now Here's where the thunder went wrong. The thunder got
in there and you've been you've done this before. It's
a beautiful summer day. You can smell the food, the

barbecues there, they started to smell the champagne. They started
already tasted. They could already see the balloons getting ready
to drop. And they got in there and just thought, man,
we got to show up and do what we do
and we're automatically gonna win. And they forgot the Pacers
have been a desperate team that has fought all year,
that has come back multiple times, and that was not
gonna just lay down. And they got in there and

already tastes in the champagne and thinking all we got
to do is show up and we'll be fine. And
that was not the case, and the worst case scenario happened.
They gave the Pacers starters a lot of rest, in
particular Tyrese Halliburton.

Banged up, he's tired.

He got to relax, get his shot going, feeling comfortable,
feeling good. TJ McDonald McConnell had another game where he

Give it that gear was on NBA TV. Get dad,
stay off the TV. We are Tyrese Halliburton Dad, he's
got that. He's a dad of the postseason. But he's
feeling good, playing well. Nimhar plays great seventeen, So you
got the guys who will be playing bigger minutes in
place of Tyre's. Halliburton playing very well and confident, and
he got to play well enough and only played twenty

two minutes and he gets an extra day off again,
three days resting up.

That was the worst case scenario.

Now the worst worst would have been had that was
at home, and now the Pacers would be going back home.
Now at least the Thunders still have it at home.
But if you're SGA, this is what you are. The
MVP for your team is gonna perform better, the role
player is gonna play better at home, just like the
same thing happened with the Pacers, and SGA needs to
show why he's the MVP. He did not play well.

Is his worst game of this this finals run. He
looked mortal, and he needs to show them what's up.
But all logic is out the window this postseason. For me,
this makes no sense. The Pacers being there, the thunder,

None of this makes sense except for they have been

Worst thing for me was they did it easily, and

feeling good and playing another good to great game. And
so now here we are game seven. What did your
takeaway from six?

What was what happened the most frightening thing in the
terms of I have to say, coming into this being
in Oklahoma City, having covered this team, I want to
see that city, you know.

Celebrated finals likely, I truly do, knowing what the thunder means,
so Calaholm the city. But what I saw in game
six was a tight, tight, tight team that forgot how
to play true to its identity. They didn't, right, they
didn't have a turnover, they didn't in the first half day.
Their assists, they had three assists through the first half.

It was it was very inauthentic to thunder basketball and
the basketball that got them to be this, this behemous
of a team to this point. So I'm honestly the
flag has been raised in terms of a little bit
of concern, especially when you look at how special this Pacers.

This is what I was saying, Like they have buck
the odds in every series and they shouldn't be winning.
And they got new life and they got rest in

Finals Game one, and I know I know what Shae

and like how they play, especially with their defensive identity

this seven games. But like it is something it is
a game with the magic of the Pacers and with
everything that's on the line and the onus that's on
this Thunder franchise to bring home you know, the first

this is a really close one. And I had the
Thunder winning this series in five.

obviously had the chance to make a six, but that
was not the case.

Well, I think this all actually comes to Carlisle, coach
Carlisle and what he's able to draw for Indiana. Like
but on paper, Indiana is a lesser team than what
the Thunder are and what they've been able to accomplish.
Yet they've been able to overachieve time and time again,

what since January of this year. And I attributed that
to Carlisle. And now that they've been able to eliminate
Chet or find a way to, you know, make him
non threatening, it's either got to be what the players
can produce on the court for Oklahoma City or it's
going to come up to the magic of Indiana time

and time again. And and like I don't it's this
series has been so back and forth on so many levels,
and we've gotten everything out of it Calvin like it.
I just yeah, Chet needs to rise to meet the moment.
But if Carlisle has put his players in a position
that they've figured out this guy who and give it
give it all the Chet like right, He's been overcoming injuries,

so this is his real first postseason right push and
and his moment. I mean, as for a lot of
the players at this stage, like there's a reason these
two teams haven't been on this final stage before. But
it's it's I'm very intrigued to see if it is

a solution that Carlisle has figured out or if it
was a poor performance on Chests part.

If the Thunder lose, this will be enormous because there
was such you guys talked about it. Rob Gau, producer
had him in four and most people, yeah, I was crazy,
but everybody had him in five. They just thought it
was a mismatch that what's better, they've been good all

year and that's not Indiana played well since January, but
still coming in they were underdogs in every series. So
even if they played well, people still thought they didn't
match up or they.

Couldn't beat the team that they played. And this would
be huge because.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
I think people would look back and then wonder about
the Thunder and really how good they were or did
they choke or were they not experienced? The big talk
Nikki was that they weren't experienced enough, that young teams
don't win like this because they don't have the experience
of being there, and that was a concern for people.

Well, I think the narrative is twofold, right. I think
on one level, we got to give credit to this
Indiana team that I think, by and large, a huge,
a huge contingent of media did not see coming. I
think that's one part of it. This Indiana team is special.

They have that sauce. Nobody saw them pushing this to seven.
If they pull it off, this will be a team
that's talked about for years to come. But I think
in a bigger picture, it's not just necessarily about this
young thunder team. I think it's about the ghosts that
haunt Oklahoma City because it was the team of James Harden,

Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant pushing the Miami Heat in the
finals and then be like, hey, this window is going
to be forever. This is a young thunder team there,
and then before you know it, James Harden's gone, It's
Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and they never get and then
they get beat by the Warriors in the twenty sixteen
Western Conference Finals. And it's Sam Presty who's the archetype

and the mastermind, and he's been a masterful job and
he has people saying, oh, okay, this could be the
worst iteration of this thunder squad. They're going to win,
not one, not two, not whatever, like how many how
many rings are coming to Oka? See, I think that's
the bigger, like right like picture of this team and

the ghost that Sam Presty is chasing, which, to no
fault of his own, it just shows how hard it
is to win an NBA championship.

Is he a We got shots at finals because we
got this kid for a decade, ten fifteen years. You know,
here's my issue. I get it the comparisons because Larry
Bird's white, a great white American basketball I get.

Larry Bird white. Yeah, I didn't even notice that. I
get all that, but I think it's just such a reach.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
I'm dead, sir, as somebody who was covering the NBA
during that time watching Larry Bird. I didn't watch him
on YouTube. I saw this guy play. He was a monster,
he really was. And Larry Bird, let me just give
you talking about Cooper Flag is going to be the
next Larry Bird.

Can I tell you Larry Bird is the only person
in NBA history. Did you hear me saying only Rookie
of the Year Most Valuable Player, Finals, MVP, All Star, MVP,
Coach of the Year, and Executive.
Speaker 4 (44:04):
I'm just like, like, did you hear what I just said?
And that's why the only nobody could have those kind
of accolades. It's insane. And I do believe that there's
a window you want to do the white guy basketball
guy thing if you got to do that. Christian Laightener,
who I think is on the Mount Rushmore of college basketball,

we think that.

Okay, I do believe. I think Christian Later for college
basketball is up there. And for those who don't know
all your favorites, he gave it to all of them.

He gave it to them.

Get some of this. Chris Webber, get something. They all
got it. He was Larry Larry Johnson and in that
second time around in the church, get some of this.

I mean, an incredible career in college.

Christian Ladner here, Okay, Larry Bird here, and I'm positive
Cooper Flag has a much better chance of being closer
to Christian Latner than to Larry Bird. And that's not
to disrespect him at all. I just don't think when

people start throwing out names and thinking somebody's gonna be.
They made this mistake before. And I'm not saying that
Adam Morrison was the same as Cooper Flag, Okay, I'm not,
but boy did they throw his name out. You remember
that he was a name at that time. Obviously he
didn't live up to it. Christian Lightner, as great of

a college player, wasn't a great pro. He was good,
he was good, he wasn't great. One All star right appearance.

Yep.
Speaker 4 (45:43):
And here's the other thing. And we mentioned Grant Hill
and some other duke players. They don't have a big
history of great NBA players. Now, Grant Hill could have
been different if they didn't have the injuries.

I think we saw enough to know, Like, but I'm
just saying it was great, yeh. But but we didn't
get to see it in full seven more years of
Pete Graham. We didn't see it. Zion.

I don't know what we about to get. We don't know.

We've seen a little bit, but not enough.

And this is my point is that those are lofty expectations.
Every kid coming out, Whimby's gonna be the greatest.

He's a big man. He could do stuff two three
dribble of basketball. But he's the greatest player ever. Say now,
Cooper Flag is the greatest white player who's ever come
out of Really, I.

Can't get with it. I just think it's in the.

Anticipation and the expectations are way too lofty to mention
him in the same breath as Larry Bird. And if
it wasn't for their white skin, I don't believe that
people would win even come close to saying he was
gonna be Larry Bird. That's just me, And that's why

I say, if I had to pick where Cooper Flag
gonna wind up, it ain't gonna.

Be all the way over here with Larry Bird.

It's gonna be somewhere over here, closer to Christian Layton.
I think the guy he's gonna look the most like
for the first five six years of his career is
Paulo Ben Carroll. I think he's gonna look like the
guy who was just a duke not too long before
him cut two three years ago, who was a player,
who was a number one pick and who was a hooper.
And we can all see he's gonna be, you know,
several time all star. I think that is kind of

the comp for me. Can it be a little bit better?
We'll have to wait and see. But he does have
an engine that I love. He being Cooper Flag. He
plays hard, he wants to win, he competes. Now a
couple things that concern me. And this isn't just him.
This is a Zion thing. This is a Blake Griffin thing.
This is a Jowelle emb thing. This is an Anthony
Davis thing, This is a Kyrie Irving thing. Guys who
I can keep going down the line, by the way,

Ben Simmons, guys who became these like all were we
know that come in this number one pick. Guy who've
done nothing but play basketball since they were four and
five years old.

No breaks, no.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Nothing, No football, no tennis, no swimming, no baseball. All
I do is hoop. And guess what I do, Rob,
I play my basketball team for high school. I playing
an AAU team. I'm playing a travel team. I play
some special tournament these games a weekend, play eight games
a weekend because I mean the AAU got this game
on Saturdays. And then guess what too, I'll play in
special games like a cool playing the show. Gus and

I'm playing the ninety things, and by the way, I'll
play against the USA team basketball basketball, basketball, basketball, basketball, basketball,
and guess what happens. Let's talk about Linzo Ball, Let's
talk about LaMelo Ball. All these guys who play basketball, basketball,
bast sins. They were four years old, Zion, Like I said, LaMelo, Lionzo,

Blake Griffin, they all start breaking down early. And my
thing would be, he is very good, and I expect
him to have a heck of a career. But I'm like, man,
is he gonna be the one that kind of bucked
the trend? And I'm not saying every player clearly, but
a lot of these guys, John Moran, they have a
lot of injuries, man, because all they've done is when

you look back at some of the greats. Michael Jordan,
the great is played baseball. Lebron you can say the
great is second, greatest, third whatever. He played football, Like
guys played. Jordan played baseball. Michael Jordan played baseball, Mike
Lebron played football. Other guys you and I talk about
Randy Moss arguably the second greatest receiver all time.

He played like seven sports.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
He was an outfielder, he was mister basketball and mister
football West Virginia. Uh, he ran track utterly ridiculous. So
many of this Kyler Murray, Kyler Murray the first player
ever to first round in the NFL and ever baseball player.
Jameis Winston baseball, Patrick Rohan's baseball player. Like these guys
played so uh, Matthew Stafford baseball player like. So he
(49:55):
grew up with U up in the same which is ridiculous,
right that you got potentially picture right and well one yeah,
for sure.

That was heavy on the potential. You know, all right,
go ahead, one for Sureshaw the Hall of Fame. So
but you get what I mean.

And that's one of my concerns about Cooper Flag is like, man,
can he be another guy that very good?
Speaker 3 (50:14):
No, no doubt about it. But he gets nicked up.
Speaker 1 (50:16):
And then as far as the player himself again, the
thing we got to relax is when we say Larry Bird,
when we say Lebron, when we say a shock or
something of these these will these types of players. What
made Larry Bird special wasn't just a jump shot, wasn't
you know he's six ten, He rebounds well, he rebound
way better than people thought. He almost average ten per
(50:38):
game for his career. It's the feel for the game.
And you can't just say, oh, so and so because
he's this height, he's this that, and he's got to
feel for Lebron feel for the game. I'm about to
for the game. Notice against the Pistons, stealed the ball,
makes a beautiful pass, and Dennis Johnson for a game
like stole the ball, ball, miss, stay, run, go, jump,

get it cover the left, feel for the game. One
of the best forward passers we've ever seen passing forwards.
So when we say things like this, hold up, because again,
it's the feel for the game. Magic Johnson means well,
loves the Lakers more than anything. He said DeAngelo Russell
anlins O Ball gonna take his records down. They're gonna
be better than me. Magic, settle down. You're at worst,

in my opinion, the fifth best player of all time.

Taking your stuff down. Recall as to who comes and
went to nine finals and you only coming like twelve
thirteen years Magic, relax.

to say so and so is this. I think Cooper
Flagg will be a perennial All Star because I believe
it's his athleticism, his tenacity. He wants to be good,
he wants to be great. He plays great defense, and
I like it him. Like I said, maybe a potentially
better version of Paulo Benchero, someone who went to do

and maybe not the same exact skills. Said, but at Max,
not Larry Bird. Maybe a Kawhi in that, and that
wouldn't be a bad player to be gonna be a
Hall of Fame trajectory, but just an ability because Kawhi
handle was nice. It ain't the crazy Tatum, you know,
I thought of Tatum. He's a little uh Tatum is

not a bad one else either. I think he plays
a little bigger than Tatum, but I'm not mad at that.
So the Polo Ban Carol, the Tatum guys who went
to Duke, he finished that mold as well. He's big,
he rebounds, like I said, he blocked shots, and he
wants to win, and he's got a nice mid range
and he's gonna get that long three ball once he
gets to the NBA.

I remember seeing the videos two three years ago, like, uh,
