(01:14):
show and a best of version posted right after we
get off the air. Don't forget coming up in about
twenty eight minutes. Antonio Daniels, NBA Champs Series XM, NBA
Radio New Orleans Pelicans color analysts, and of course Fox
Sports Radio NBA analysts, and then after that a little
trash TALKT and I know the streets are still buzzing

(01:35):
about our debut of our Burger King song, and just
where we are Roger Rob G's like, oh God, can
we get past?

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Robgi neck is gonna break or it's gonna be You're
gonna have the most chiseled neck because you keep shaking
your head.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Or rolling his eyes. It's okay, go ahead, Rob G.
One day, you know, when this is all over, you're
gonna go back and you're gonna say, what is he
gonna say? You know, I work with this guy Rob
Parker for a long time. He was so creative, he
was so into radio. He was just it was unbelievable.
There's a chance, Okay, he doesn't appreciate me now until

(02:11):
I'm gone. That's that's what I feel for Rob. What
about the chance?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Did you know what? I'll tell you this.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
The biggest human element I always see is never appreciating
what we have because think about it, think about it,
real talk.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
So I have that red STI super right.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I've been wanting it since I was a kid, dreamed
about it, got it the first few months, loved it.
Now I look back, I'm like, I'm taking it for granted,
and I know when I get rid of it, I'll
look back.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I love that, exactly, true, rob G. And And part
of it is because when this show first started, the
odd Couple rob G had under three and three years yep,
as that was. He just said, Wow, this isn't gonna work.
So I'm true. He was like, Chris can save but
rob I don't know, right, not more than three years.
And so now that we're into year seven, soon to

(02:55):
be rob G year eight in September, borring and axing
or something, I'm just saying I don't want to put
it out there right there yet. But he still doesn't
appreciate the show or me.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Well, the best part about it is I love that
you and Alex are talking for him, because like, what
if there's the chance that he goes thank God when
it's over or when he leaves, there is there is
you know there's that chance of that, right, No, look
at Robbie said.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
All I can say is wowsy wowsy wooo. Okay, wewsy
wowsy wooo. All right, enough of the Rob g you know,
being a negative. You're discussed this the best Rob. Just
remember he's changed since he's getting that little shot now.
I know he's very moody. He's uh he is, he's

(03:45):
Sasha's around here because he thinks he's lighter.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
It's crazy. He literally asked me to change chairs because
this is too heavy for him. Exactly, you know, like he's.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Changed now, Rober, I usually have your back, but I
do have to admit robb Gi he's a little different.
Brun to the show and was like, I'm the greatest
they ever had. Put the camera on me.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I had the greatest. Put the camera on me and
the microphone in front.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I was a little man when Rob had thirty thousand
on a Lebron take it.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
See the facts. He's tracking that. He's looking at it.
He do a little extra. When he sat here, he
was like, oh, let me get the box. He wanted
the box. I wanted a little apple box too. He
is getting a little deep.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I don't understand. I don't know what would happened if
you Why did you give up your chair when people.
Come on, Yes you did because.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
He wanted to sit right there.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah, that's so that seat you can hear. They can
talk to both of us and only me if they
need to. Oh, this seat, they can only talk to
both of us. They can't just talk to the singer. Yeah,
that's that's why.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
I can only talk to you and give you good
nuggets to make you sound good.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Rob. I care why you gotta pull a cord. Maybe
Rob Parker is more so. When Rob leaves, you're gonna
be unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I know he did laugh at my songs, but he
was all right.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Take him back, Rob, Yeah, do anything you want to
come back.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Well, speaking of Robie, Dan Gilbert trying to give le
Bron back, can you tell us.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
About this big happening in Vegas coming up on Thursday
where people are ready to dish out big big bucks
Canelo and and but you wish.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Sixty third birthday coming up for that?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I can't recover from that? Are you kidding?

Speaker 4 (05:23):
He's still paying for that?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Thank god, I'm not. Thank god. That was the night.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Fun fact Brian found out that Stephen A had security
twenty four to seven.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Well, you're putting the camera on whoa.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Wait a minute. I just wanted to say hi, and
I got this giant dude right in front of me.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Saying, oh my god, back up. Okay, okay. So but
coming up Thursday, it was a fun party.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
It was a great party, had a fantastic time Lamar Mitchell,
friend of the show, hung out with him and his
wife the whole night.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
But Thursday night it is the hottest ticket in town.
And that's saying something seeing there's a lot of things
to do in Las Vegas. That is because it is
the Summer League debut of Cooper Fly. He'll be taking
on Brownie James and the Lakers. Check this out, guys.
We're still about forty eight hours away, so these numbers
are only going to go up. Accord to Tickpic, the

(06:10):
average ticket price for that game is two hundred and
one dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
That would make.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
It the most expensive ticket in Summer League history. Here's
the best part though, Lower Bowl tickets. Again, this is
not a big arena that you're going to. This is
maximum I think is eight thousand people. Lower Bowl tickets
currently going six point fifty a pop. And if you
want to sit at courtside, which I know that Dub

(06:37):
and Rob always sit courtside when they go places. Not
yet twenty five hundred dollars apiece. You could go to
the NBA Finals and not pay twenty five hundred dollars
to sit courtside.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Wait, okay for who Charlotte and no the one we
just had? Well, okay, so who what? I believe you're
there so big.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Bucks to go see Cooper Flagg and Brownie kick.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Okay, next Lakers, you'll be spending hundred and fifty thou
Here's a ridiculous thing. I get it. People are in Vegas.
There's not much to do. There's hot weather, there's bad
uh uh buffets and you know, and you know and
crap tables and if you don't have but the idea
that you would spend any kind of significant money to

(07:18):
see Summer League basketball. I don't care who's playing. I'm
dead serious like you. This is like talk about a
waste of money. I want to see. If you're telling
me Cooper Flag's first real game, and I want to
be that, I'm all for it if he's your favorite
player and it's a real game. But seventy five percent
Rob G and my bad Kelvin am I being wrong?

(07:41):
Eighty percent of the players playing in the Summer League
are not going to be NBA player, Okay, you know
what I mean. Like there's some rookies, but most of
the guys, they get a free uniform and a couple
of pair of sneakers and a burger and fries from
Burger King, Like that's what they get to play in
the Summer League. The league makes a little bit of
money off of it, and to keep the league relevant.

(08:04):
And you get to see some of these guys who
were drafted, which is fine. I'm not saying, don't go,
but pay top dollar. And then the whole thing Brownie
against Cooper flag, is that really where we are? I
could see if it was there were two players who
are gonna be drafted one and two, and they had

(08:25):
a rivalry or something, and then this is, you know,
they both got drafted and you look at that. I
can understand, if you know, do you know what I mean?
Like like that makes more sense to me. I'm just
saying personally, I just couldn't see spending big bucks or
any major money on Summer league basketball, which is basically

(08:48):
minor league basketball, you know, with a sprinkle on top.
That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
So in theory, I'm actually not mad at you, Like
I get everything you're saying, principal, right, But here here's
a couple of things that you gotta think about. We're
in a day and age where Rob g how Old
was Cooper Flag when you started to hear about him
with fourteen maybe Ronnie and now obviously we do him
he's literally born, but Bronni becomes a thing on social

(09:13):
media like thirteen fourteen, right, you're starting to see these guys.
So we have a generation Rob where they're peers kids
who were seventeen to twenty four ish. Dude, they've been
watching these kids like since they were on making mixtapes
and they were all over YouTube and tick tok and
so for them this is lit. I get to go
see the god and watch them for all these years.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Those are the guys paying twenty five hundred dollars to
two young people. He talked them.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
There's only two hundred fifty, Rob, that's actually nothing. You
know what they pay to go see Taylor Swift. I'm
not even exaggerating. It's of go text your best friend
Steven A. Smith what he pay to take his daughters
and friends to go see Stephen Taylor. Monty paid one
thousand dollars to go see Taylor Swift and knows.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Monty makes too much money at Fox Sports Radio ten
thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
But I'm saying, Rob, that's what it's so dope that
it's become this social rageous normal to go see what
I'm saying, it's become to go see Beyonce, to go
see Taylor Swift, to go see a deal, to go
see these massive, massive artists. So for these guys spending
two hundred and fifty bucks, I get to go see BRONI,
I get to go see Cooper Flag.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
That's actually cheap.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Rob, a regular NFL to go see the Chargers play
the Browns. It's gonna cost you two fifty minimum, and
that's a bad seat. So it's actually not bad for
the summer league game to see scrubb right here.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
And here's also watch That's know what I'm saying now
they put this is not monoymano. If you told me
it was a one on one competition, I might even
buy into that they might not be on the court
or checking it like seriously, But here's what. It doesn't
make any sense.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Now, Rob g this is expected to be the big
one of the biggest, if not the most watched UH
Summer League game ever. Right, so that's what's gonna be.
I'm gonna tell you what. So guess who's gonna be there?
Lebron James, probably, Kevin Durant probably. What does that do
for you, Scott, I'm in the building with Travis Scott,
one of my favorite players. I might have on my

(11:04):
Rob Parker, Travis Scott's they're act like you don't want
to be there. He might throw you something, you know.
I got Bron down there, I got this person down there.
I got young hyn whoever pick a rapper, young NBA,
young boy down.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
There like, dude, this is lit.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
I got all these stars and hit Caitlin Clark might
pull up, Ames Reese might pull up, dude.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Summer League is lit.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
It is a time where the guys, the players in
the league go vacation. I get to be in Vegas
for a week, four or five days. My agent's out here.
All these brands are out here, dude. Vegas is a
real thing in Summer League. Brands are there, marketing teams
are there, and this is where people go in showcase,
which is why it was a big deal. When you
know the Triple B Big Baller brand was out there

(11:45):
blowing out shoes and had a bad is shoes.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
This was a big.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Marketing and they're like, oh, we look bad out there.
So this is more than this is a basketball junkies crackhouse.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
You can go get all the dr I'm fit to
pay till dollar to me is crazy for for you
with the idea, all the hope, and I'm just saying
I would never pay. I don't care who it is.
A thousand dollars to sitting those bleeds for a concert.
I just wouldn't do it. Who's your favorite one the Knicks?
What's her name? Nick? Yeah? I looked at even he

(12:18):
came back. We all of a sudden you jumped in.
You jump back into Delaorean. The only way I'm paying
a thousand dollars is if I get to hold the casket,
as he says, that's your only.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Why No, we go back in time and you know,
look we've got the DeLorean, right, we got the time machine.
I'm not paying a thousand dollars that he's gonna die.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Please you don't go back and go watch him. No,
I'm not paying a thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
I paid a thousand to go see somebody say who
he was? Good? I am, But it was only a thout.
I think a twelve hundred for the two tickets to
go see who'd you see? Bruno Mars.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Oh, you could have waited for the residency in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
No, I'll tell you what happened. It was. No, I
tell you that's a good story. I'll tell you now.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Well, you know what's funny hearing Robson. I'm not picking
a thousand dollars for that he paid. I want to say,
like thirteen hundred for some really terrible Gucci uh slides
or whatever you're blessing. They were just like they were sandals.
They were full on sandals. He wore them, took pictures
for the ground. He's like people were killing them for
those SAMs, Jesus saying immediately sold him afterwards.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
I did, Yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
You're paid all your favorite player back from the dead,
Frank Sinatra.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
No, I'm start spreading the news right now, not four
thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
I'll spread the news. I just think for if I
wanted to do that. I'm just saying, if Cooper Fly
if he's if I'm really a Cooper Fly, I want
to watch. I want to save my money and go
to the first real game because they're gonna be stars
there too and all. That's the game. I'm just saying,
if I had to pick a choice, Okay, when Luca
comes back, Luca is going to be coming back to Dallas.

(13:51):
They're playing the Mavericks and Cooper Fly. I want to
save that twelve hundred dollars for that game.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
I think Summer League and take out what I think.
That's what the Summer League has become. The bros trip.
You tell the wife, the girlfriend, We're going to Summer
League and going to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
You get to go to Vegas for four or five days,
get to see celebs just walking through the down the street,
hanging out in the hotels, popping up at the clubs.
They're all at the games. So that's what it's become.
Summer League has become a bros trip. Shout out to
the ladies too, ladies trip, you know what I mean.
It's become that to go enjoy some hoop, see some stars,
get some marketing and all that cool stuff out there
and enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
All right, we've got a bone to pick with a
wine NFL quarterback. Kelvin's gonna have that and more that's
coming up next. But it is the odd couple on
the trash Talking Tuesday, Rob Parker Kelvin Washington right here

commercial song.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Your burger is King cut out we did every week
we do.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Tell them that they can put on me. Yeah, they
can trash anything. Put the burger on me, pass me
the sauce, no lettuce.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Oh, I was gonna say something else, but not made
it six years all right. By the way, Achy knees stiff.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
I heard you get her a tissue.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
It's just so hard. Go ahead, I'm going stiff. Back
joints not cooperating. Some days your body's just like nope,
or maybe you just sit next to your co host
and you just got to pop in the leave.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
That's right. Luckily, there's a leave with just one pill.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
A lee provides up to twelve hours of paying relief
so you can keep moving. Use as directed robb Gie.
We were talking a little bit for those who miss
salam joined the show. But just what Kirk Cousins kind
of had to say in the new episode of Quarterback
QB Quarterback on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Break down what he was saying his points.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, he was talking about his exit from Minnesota to Atlanta.
Atlanta obviously shocked the world when they drafted Michael Pennis
junior number eight overall after giving Kirk Cousins a massive
contract in free agency, and Cousins said in the documentary
he felt quote misled by the whole situation, adding if
I had the information around free agency, it certainly would
affected my decision. I had no reason to leave Minnesota

(17:29):
with how much we loved it there, especially if both
teams are gonna be drafting a quarterback high.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
And I don't think his comments are outrageous to say
was misled, that's all he said. And I think that
that's true. When you sign a deal like that, he
expected to be the quarterback for those years. You know
you're an older guy, they pay you a lot of money.
It doesn't mean that things can't change. We talk about
it with Matt Flynn in Seattle. Right when again the
contract and of the god shows up and they decide,

(17:56):
oh no, we're gonna go with Russell Wilson instead, and
think happened. But I don't think what he said is crazy.
Like I felt misled because I thought they were all
in on me. They gave me a contract like they
believed in me and thought I was gonna be their guy.
And then it's into year one they already you know,
they drafted a guy before. I can't even get the seawat,

(18:17):
I mean a seat warm. You know that was cute
what you said. I'm just so cute. But you know what, Alex,
ain't nobody got time for that. Ain't nobody got time
for everything. You just said.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
That sounded cute, and that sounds good in some other
work environments. But you know what, sports is supposed to
be a meritocracy. Best man up, next man up, best
man up.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Unless you're the Lakers and you draft Lebron James's son,
it's supposed to Okay, Okay, you're supposed to.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Okay, good, now, let me break a couple of things
down there. I absolutely get the sentiment of it. Right,
We all are humans, we have feelings, right, and I
do appreciate that, right if I brought me in to
do this, and you know, and then they kind of
switch up on me. However, specifically in the sport in
which he plays, he's an athlete. He's a quarterback. He
was an aging quarterback. Now there's a couple things to

(19:05):
know here, rob Number one, the Minnesota Viking said, hey, Brian,
just to let you know, we're drafting somebody early. The
Atlanta folks went ahead and say, hey, we're gonna draft
somebody early after they got him. Right, that clearly shows
your footing where you are in the NFL. We like you,
We're gonna give you a bunch of guaranteed money, but
you ain't the future.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
And he should be well versed enough to know that.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
He should know that this is how the NFL goes
at times, because you know who he's not. And I
like Kirk had a solid career. He ain't Brett Favre,
who they brought in the air parent, who had to
sit and wait. Aaron Rodgers with the Air parent had
a Hall of Fame career. They brought in his air
apparent Alex Smith was a number one pick and was
playing some great football with Andy Reid, and they brought

(19:48):
in his air parent and who got in their Patrick Mahomes.
You brought up one you love bringing up Matt Flynn
got all the money and he ain't even get to
see the first week. Well, but he said Russell Wilson
he would never.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Start a quarterback in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
I mean, but he was the thirty six million dollar
man at that time, which was a huge deal for him,
but he was never the starting quarter So what I'm saying,
Rob is I give the sentiment and we all have
We're all human in the louds for all.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
I'm just saying what he said to me is not
outrageous to say that I felt misled and had I
known that they were going to do this, I would
have stayed in Minnesota. But my point is that that's
what he said.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Minnesota was doing the same thing. Nobody I've seen somebody earlier.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
But he's saying that I would have stayed there and
been right. But I would have been there, and then
my family was there, my kids were there. I get
all that. Why moved to do that? I moved to
Atlanta and then they didn't make the playoffs. The difference
is it's already to be a backup minute Atlanta didn't
make the playoffs. But here's the thing. They didn't make
the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
This ain't nobody got time for that because he had
a chance to compete and win. It wasn't like he
got Matt Flint I never got on the field. He
actually was a starter. He was the starter.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Rob.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
He was starting and playing and he was the guy
and Michael Pennis was supposed to sit there.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
And they actually but first when they made the change,
it was actually coming off of his best game in weeks,
which was weird because the whole thing was going, why Rob,
what are you talking about? Remember he threw like eight
interceptions nobody, but I'm saying it was coming off actually
a good game, and it was surprising that they made
the change, especially because they still had a chance to

(21:23):
make the playoffs even with the patch the dry patch.
And then they put in panics and go look at
his numbers. He wasn't great through rookie quarterback. But that
shows me that they said we're ready to move on.
It shows me that they don't know what they're doing.
The Atlanta Falcons. They're ready to move on, and Kirk
not ready to move on because they wouldn't even give
him his money and let him.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Move on to hold him, they said the story that
makes sense. They felt he is worth paying. We'd rather
have here and be a backup and sit there and
help teach. That's that's and Kirk Cousins, that kind of
money has made two hundred and ninety.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Yeah, but that's just that's just a circumstance. Gosh, Kirk,
A lot of guys look at what Dak Prescott's gonna
go to make okay, and he's done nothing.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Posting their season. Whe My point zero, Kirk Cousins ain't
Brett Farr. He ain't Aaron Rodgers, he ain't Jordan Love
He ain't he ain't.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Some of these guys. Ain't nobody got time for this,
and ain't nobody got time for him doing that.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Steve appreciate you. It is the odd couple.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Rod Parker kelvin Washington on a trash talking Tuesday, speaking
of which Rob again had just mentioned that you can
call him for that, tell him to number again.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
six sixty three sixty nine.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
That's right, trash talking Tuesday in a little bit. But
first we got talked to our guy. That's right, Antonio Daniels,
NBA Champ Series x M, NBA Radio, New Orleans, Pelicans,
Fox Sports Radio, NBA analysts. He is our guest right
now is always a Daniel thirty three on X What AD?

Speaker 7 (23:03):
What's up? Fellaws was going on, m man. Okay, what
are we talking about today? What are we doing today?

Speaker 1 (23:11):
He already knows, well, we can we can start. No, no, no,
let's start with Lebron and the decision which years ago,
so so Ad.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
We started our show today with today as the fifteenth
anniversary of the decision, and Rob, I will let you
quickly state your point and then I will quickly stay mind,
We'll let Ad talk.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah. All I said was the legacy of the player
empowerment failed because that's what Lebron started, and that people
were going to do this and this was gonna work
out for everybody, and all they got was it didn't
work out for him. Actually it came back to bite
him where he lost two championships to the Warriors because
he was my Space and the Warriors said, well, we

(23:55):
could do what you did, Lebron and do it even
better and become Facebook and beat him twice. That probably
wouldn't have happened had he not done that. And now
they've put in all these safeguards and aprons and everything
to restrict people from moving around because there's penalty. So
I'm just saying that that player empowerment did not ultimately

(24:15):
become some defining legacy for him.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Time.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Okay, now I'm sorry. Explained.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
My point was that the man was with an inept
franchise that the entire city of Cleveland hadn't won anything
in fifty plus years.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Michael Jordan and the holes were up there.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Michael Jordan was inept until Phil Jackson, Text Winters and
Pipping and Horse Grant finally start playing.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
You need at the point, thank you, Adie. And my
point is.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
That Lebron realized we were all gonna judge him if
he didn't win. He realized the franchise wasn't doing jack
and he got it. That's all I said, add go ahead, ad.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
No, listen. Okay, Now, we talked about this for two
hours today on our show. Here's the thing, first and foremost,
Rob player empowerment. You can't tell me it failed because
guys are making seventy million dollars.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
That's that's But the money has nothing to do with it.
It's with the television money. And this would happen if Lebron. No, no, no,
if Lebron didn't do that, it still would be the
same money a d because it's a percentage of the
money that the that the owners and players split. So
I'm not giving him credit for that. Okay, I'm not
going up.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
To this year before the new CBA, before the new CBA.

Speaker 8 (25:30):
Who let me ask you a question, Rob, who's.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
The most powerful person in Milwaukee's organization?

Speaker 1 (25:37):
What are you talking about? Uh? Yiannis?

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Who's the most powerful person in going States organization?

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (25:45):
But but that but no, no, no, no answer the question.

Speaker 7 (25:47):
You don't have to you don't have to rem on.
Just answer the question.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Well, we know the best player, and it's an NBA.
You only got two or three players that matter, So.

Speaker 7 (25:55):
I don't know that.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
No, no, no, no, no, no, nothing.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
To do with Lebron.

Speaker 7 (25:59):
Okay, what we want to do, this is what we do.
Could I agree one hundred percent with what you.

Speaker 10 (26:04):
Did say, Kevin?

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
Lebron was damned one way or another. It didn't matter
what he did because he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers
for seven or eight years. Right, they did not put
a team around him to win it. And you know what,
people saying, Oh you know what, man, you can't win.
So then he puts himself in a position to win,
and now people are mad, and then for winning, he
damned it. He dead and damned if he does it.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
He didn't win. It was a failure. Miami. Miami was
ann was a failure. Stop it. He lost to the
Dallas Mavericks. Go back and look, go back to that
post conference fifteen years ago. I mean when he went
to Miami, not two, not three, no four, He thought
that he had done the magic formula, that he was

(26:50):
going to re win seven championships in a row because
he had figured it out. And they won two out
of four with a depleted East. And he's law us
more championships than any other former NBA NBA he lost
more than one.

Speaker 7 (27:08):
This is what happens right here though, because what people
love to throw on lebron face is that he lost.
So when he lost, he failed, and then when he won,
he failed.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
No, I didn't say he failed when he won. I'm
just saying he didn't win one. He didn't win what
he thought he was gonna win, did he.

Speaker 7 (27:23):
Rob Perker, you literally just said you literally just said it.
He failed in Miami, even though he won two championships.
So when he wins, he failed, and when he loses, Okay,
here we go.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
This is for you. This is for you, Antonio. This
is for you. Not three, not four, not five, not six,
not seven. And when I say that, I really believe it,
because that's what he thought. He really thought they were
gonna win. He did, Rob.

Speaker 7 (27:50):
I think that is so awesome that you can cure
your producer and tell him to play that over again.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Ad ad. I laugh when people bringing it up.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
The man was at a literal pep rally where they
were shooting off water guns in Miami.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
It's a pep rally for the new team. Really believed
he thought he had He thought he had figured out
the NBA, that he was such a genius he would
put together a super team and win every year. And
that's not what happened.

Speaker 7 (28:18):
You know what came from that. This guy's doing exactly
what Lebron did.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
And failing Kevin Durant, it failed for him. He went
to Golden Stadium Law, but that hasn't worked since.

Speaker 8 (28:31):
I don't know how you do it, dude.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
You know, I asked for a raise at the end
of every week, I say yo, so so that's the point.
So it failed for Kevin Durant, but he was a
Finals MVP and got and after that, I said, nobody's
doing that. Nobody's doing that anymore. People don't have to
you do you do know what you just said to

(28:53):
people don't have that. That's a compliment to the two
who are the two best players for that decade, people
Bron and KD.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
That's why I worked for the Is it KD or
is it Stuff? Who won four championships during the same
time as Lebron? Not he won the same amount of championships.

Speaker 7 (29:10):
But here's the thing, though, Rob, Like, it's funny to
me how your narrative change is depending on piggle in
the blake, because now you're saying stick was the best place.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I say Stuff was the best player. I'm saying that
he won four championships during the Lebron era and he
wasn't the best player, and he didn't have to go.
While you I said, Kevin Deran and Lebron are the
best players.

Speaker 7 (29:30):
And that's why it hartlem hold on because Robers brought
up a good point. Rogers brought up a good point.

Speaker 10 (29:35):
You know why he.

Speaker 7 (29:35):
Didn't have to leave because they had the Golden State
Warriors had organizational chemistry. That's right, it'd have to leave.
So this is the thing, this is the thing that
gets lost in Lebron's decisions. Now, let me ask you
a question, and let's put all bias aside. Let's put
all bias a side.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
You want to bias?

Speaker 7 (29:54):
Okay, of course you don't. Of course you don't. No
one ever does. Here's the thing. If you weren't situation
the Cleveland Cavaliers front office, after what he went through
for seven or eight years in Cleveland, but you have
the confidence in that front office to put the pieces
around you to.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Win absolutely, because I would be like, all right, all right, hey, hey, hey,
we gotta go. But I want you, I want you
to hear. We debuted a new song antony. I want
your opinion on this. Okay, So we debuted a song.
We're trying to pitch mister Burger king. We think that

(30:30):
this would be there. Uh, I didn't get my sign
on this. A D a great marketing tool. This could
be heard all over the country. You ready a D.
All right, here we go. Put the camera on your burger.

(30:51):
You're the ruler for everyone.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
I wrote that.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
By my side.

Speaker 11 (30:58):
Wrapping your bun, Yo, give me some extra pickles because.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Your burger's kids.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Your meat is wed. I'm sorry, is even here? Maybe
you hung up a D.

Speaker 6 (31:25):
