Post it right after we get off the show, off

in about twenty seven minutes, Sean King will be down
with the King. Sean King, the former NFL quarterback, talk

(01:48):
some NFL with him and last call time as well.
Maybe people getting a little ahead of themselves with the show. Hey,
Barry Bonds thing, we'll get to that as well. So
a lot of stuff to talk about. But Shay, there
was some news from the nfl PA with the resignation
Kelvin and.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Chay.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Yeah, so yesterday we had some news that Lloyd Howell Junior,
the boss of the NFLPA or x boss of the NFLPA,
actually think I.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Saw him at Magic City the other night. Oh yeah,
he might have been there when you were there on
let me let me get to that part. Were throwing
money around, so maybe it was.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I mean twenty five hundred A Magic City can get you.
I don't know how much can I get you? We
can get you, They can get you, Okay, But anyway,
let's get to this story. So he decides to hey,
I'm going to do the right thing. I'm going to resign.
The next day, a news article comes out basically stating
that Howell charged the union for multiple strip club visits
and allegedly charged the union seven hundred and thirty eight

(02:48):
on one receipt and another two thousand and five hundred
during a separate strip club visit.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Rob They're on to you.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
One of them was in Atlanta at Magic City, actually,
which is very, very big coincidence in my opinion, but
it's definitely something I was just.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I know, I might have been there, but I didn't
put any receipts and that's the only difference.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Yeah, but there is definitely more to this story. It's
been an ongoing discussion for the past couple of months.
It's something that's been in the news for a while.
It's it's been iffy. They haven't been doing anything for
the players, and this is something that I want you
guys to discuss because again, it seems like they're just
throwing this under the rug and laughing in our faces.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I mean, I'm gonna say here, and Kelvin, you notice
a lot of guys have lost their gigs over expenses, Kelvin,
Am I right? Expenses and women like at their jobs
or what like? Those are the two things that guys
will wind up going down with the ship because for
whatever reason they play around with the company, you know,

(03:47):
and they wind up getting burned. My question to you,
Kelvin is about, let's just I want to talk about
the strip club thing. Okay, do guys still go to
strip clubs with OnlyFans and all the stuff you can
get in your home and on your phone and all that.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Do you actually still go to strip clubs?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
And if you do, do you have a limit of
how much money you spend or like what you will
and won't do and all that?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
And I don't know is the thrill gone?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Because obviously the thrill wasn't gone for the NFL pach
because you spending some pretty heavy money.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
I don't think the thrill is gone. I think, if anything,
it's become way more normalized, commercialized. It used to be taboo.
You know, you didn't talk about it. It was like
kind of like, oh, you know, Now it's so normalized.
It's in every video you get. People who are even
on your own timeline, friends will be there, you know,
just hanging out. A lot of women go now it's
like the regular club now. So I think it's definitely

(04:43):
just part of the lexicon of pop culture currently, especially
with the advent of how big hip hop and rap
has gotten with the with the you know, the visuals
and all. So I don't think it's that clearly you
got this. Clearly you were just there, and then clearly
you got him there as well. So it's crazy about
it though, Robah, as you mentioned expenses, Okay, to dive
a little deeper into this, he was taking out cash

(05:05):
withdraws from the ATM there, So it wasn't like he
went to his local Bank of America and took out
some money from there. He was taking out cash through
the company business at the venue, right.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
And I will say this, not that I really know,
but I'm assuming that it's not a three dollars fee
when you take money from the ATM.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
What's it ten?

Speaker 5 (05:27):
I think it's a little bit more than that. I
think it's a little bit more high. And do you
guys know what actually higher twenty.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Lower right around there, twenty to get.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
In fifteen for the ATM probably huh, big money, So
go ahead say, but yeah, so the purpose of the
outing that he said, oh yeah, I love this title.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Give it to the.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Player engagement event to support and grow our union.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, there was some supporting and growing going on.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Definitely, Yeah, there were some support and growing. Listen, Rob,
this is why I'm upset. You and I talked about
this a million times. I'm so tired of NFLPA, NFLPH
National Football League player haters. That's what they are. They're
player hitters. They hate on their own players.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Rob. This is the same guy. So now we got
this this whole thing.

Speaker 6 (06:13):
He's going on the company down the strip clubs, he's
getting the car service.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
This was what tipped it off.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Rod dollars for seven.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Hundred dollars something for the car service is what tipped
it all off.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
They're like, wait, what are you doing?

Speaker 6 (06:24):
The car was parked from like around ten pm to
six am down at uh the one what's the one
drake and rapping about two ty totsy whatever in Florida.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
So let's start there right as well.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
I've been to that one till six am on the
company's playing for the limo and the cash withdraws.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
So this is the same guy. I just had to
talk about.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
A week the car come back for you.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
It doesn't even make any sense, Like you're too big
that you can't do twenty.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Old move like that. Get the fifty dollars uber, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (06:57):
And that, but the cat seven hundred some dollars for
the the companies don't have to wait.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
For you for eight hours is money, right, It's a
waste of money.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
And I've been, like I said, I've been to It's
not like.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Some scary place if you're if you're that scared and
need a car to go a sap, then then you
shouldn't be there. And I'm gonna tell you something. When
you go into some of these places, the security is unbelievable.
Like you feel, I feel safer. I'm not even kidding you,
Kevin at a strip club than I do in most

(07:28):
public venues. I'm not kidding. Mess around. They don't mess around.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Clubs though you can like these are like clubs like
these are like they're not like you're like run run
the mill, like a corner.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Oh yeah, that point there.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
These are all over.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
They're huge on social editor, every wraps on these places.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Let me let me, let me get this point out
real quick shake.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
The disappointing thing is obviously this conversation, but also this
is the same guy Rob Collusion. When the Collusion case
comes out, he was involved and sat on that information.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
For six months.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
The players didn't know to pable Torre and got the
news out there a week or so ago. Then they
find out, oh maybe somebody, these quarterbacks could have got
more money, but they arbitrator finds out, they come to
an agreement, and he doesn't tell anybody. He sits on
it for six months tis to come out. He's also
a consultant for one of the private equity groups, the
only two that the league allowed to have part ownership

(08:28):
of ten percent up to ten percent ownership of a team.
So you know what I'm gonna not do if I'm
involved with owners I'm not gonna do anything that makes
owners mad. I'm not gonna do anything that upsets ownership.
And now this is the guy who's leading your NFLPA,
and then he has a nerve to say, Rob, well,
you know, I guess I'm understanding that my leadership isn't good.

(08:49):
Right now you think it is clear and come to
my attention that my leadership has become a distraction.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
You ain't been leading.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
You've been leading them to all the clubs, you've been
lead them to the ATMs, and you've been missing lead them,
not getting them information about collusion at the NFL had
to have some arborrator on.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
It's arbitration on.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
So yeah, I'm just done, and I'm done with the
players for being okay with this. Rob You and I
talk about this all the time. Well, they got to
do something at some point.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Well, it's not gonna happen. And what do we what
if we told you time and time again, nothing will happen.
The union will never be respected by the owners until
they have a work stoppage, until you cut off their
money and stop the money train.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Right at that?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Will you get people's attention? How do you get billionaire's attention?
Stop the money? And as long as they play, they
know that their war chest is bigger than the unions,
So you go ahead and they'll just wait out. So,
but you have to be serious about it. You can't
go running back after three weeks, do you know what
I mean?

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Like if you can't and you're and this is why
can't specifically this issue obviously the strip club, he been
hanging around with you and got them in trouble and
all that. You didn't you tell you should you should
have told them not to go to the ATM and
get you should have totally uber there. But my point
is this is where you need to star players rob
to actually say, yo, we need something to happen. We

(10:08):
had a guy essentially infiltrate the system. This guy, this guy,
Lloyd Howe, essentially was working with colluding with the owners.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
But this is not this is not new though, and
this is this is where the problem is, is that
you know, the owners get to the union guy or
it's the same thing, this collusion with agents where they
get guys you know what I mean, Like if you
take care of this guy, I'll take care of this
other guy for you. Like there's a lot of that
back stuff going on, and that's the sad part.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
But they're not willing to question.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Own uh you know, membership in the union and have
these guys held accountable.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
And that's why this stuff is going on.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Kelvin absolutely, Me and Kelly were actually talking about this
earlier and you alluded to it, but you didn't say
it right there. You basically said with the players as
long as the cash, the check cash is, nothing's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
That's the problem. And Rob talking about listen shape.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
The trouble is me saying, if you're yelling like I
wanted the players, I'm yelling at them to get right.
I'm yelling at them to get their own separate, independent investigators,
get their own lawyers to get on this to why
we have a guy who's leading our players Association who
is in cohootes with the owners and he's a consultant
for a team that for a private equity firm that

(11:22):
can be a part owner of an NFL team. Rob,
if I'm part owner, then I'm on their side. If
I'm working with part ownership, I'm with the owners, not
the players. And players need to demand it. But listen,
every month, those cash checks, those checks cash, and it's hard,
and I hear you, and it's hard, but hey man,
I just bought my mama house. I hear you, it's hard,

(11:43):
but I just got these new areas and hard. And
that's for them though, but it's been done.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
And the whole idea is if the union has a
correct war chest, because I've seen it done in baseball,
and if you go to the union and they pay
your bills during the lockout or whatever the strike is.
That's how you get membership. Right to hold the line
because you're not worried about money.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
I'm paying the bills, so well, I guess you know.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
It's never enough because they have terrible pension plan, terrible healthcare,
terrible like, So.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
What's the thing or is it never? Because is there anything?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
No?

Speaker 1 (12:22):
The owners have those guys over a barrel because they
have them. They don't they have them vote whether to
get paid or not not on the CBA. Whenever you
have people vote on whether they get paid or not,
they're always gonna vote to get paid. So that's why
they always lose. Do you see what I'm saying. It
can't be about getting paid. It's got to be whether

(12:45):
the CBA is good.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Enough for us. And that's that's how it's done.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
And the CBA hasn't because their representation, nfl PA, has it.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
And I call he's the nfl PA. He's a player hater.

Speaker 6 (12:54):
And that's who's been leading them for the last couple
of years. And that's ridiculous, terrible.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
All right?

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. We're just curious
about strip clubs? Do you still go? Is it still
a thing? I still think.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
It's a thing. I don't go every night.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
But when I go to Atlanta, do I stop by
Magic City always?

Speaker 4 (13:18):
We know I'm not even starting.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I'm starting.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
I'm starting to think you just like this Lloyd, how guy?
I think you a ten percent owner.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
No I'm not ten percent odor?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
But where where are you on that? And do you
have limits here? I just go out there?

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Do you go?

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Do you buy the expensive drinks? Do you throw dollar bills?
Do you still enjoy it? Or as only fans? Maybe
change that for you and you don't? You don't need
to go to strip clubs?

Speaker 4 (13:41):
All right? We want to hear from you. Eight seven,
seven ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (13:44):

Fox Sports Radio Couple Robin Kelvin on a fucky Flashback Friday.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Sound like something would be dancing too.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Oh he would be pop locket, uh pop gid it?

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Remember that?

Speaker 6 (15:05):
Oh yeah, hey, hey, what's that happening? Was he fed
albert a rerun?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
He was rerun but he did have a little Hey, hey,
what was his thing?

Speaker 7 (15:12):
He ha ha.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
Achy knee stiff back joints not cooperating some days, your
body's just like nip.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
That's kind of me today.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
I gotta get up and stretch a little bit, go
for another walk around the house, and all those days.
Luckily there's a lead with just one pill. A lead
provides up to twelve hours of paying release, so you
can keep moving. Use as directed on the way. Sean King,
former NFL quarterback, will talk some football with him, talk
some baseball with him as well. He's just an overall
sports fan. We'll have a convo with him in just
a minute. Right now, Rob and I are talking about

(15:44):
essentially the NFL PA leader, Lloyd Howe, has resigned yesterday
after a couple of few different scandals, and one including
his expenses that have founded the brother likes to frequent
the midnight ballets and so doing some terrible expenses reporting.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Well, that really is what got him in trouble. If
you don't go over the top with that, right.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Seven hundred and something dollars for car service.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
And that's outrageous.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
That's if somebody's looking at your expenses, they're like, dude,
what is this one night?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Not a year's worth, six months worth? One night? And
that I just can't even believe.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
And then the best part is how he had his
young assistant write it off as it was a player
you know, player engagement outing whatever whatever. So uh with
that being said, Rob asked a question, you know, where
are we are those things?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Are strip clubs back? Are they out? They're still in play?
I told you they are, do everybody?

Speaker 4 (16:37):
It's like the you say, you see it all on
the videos, right, it's like.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
The cool hip thing.

Speaker 6 (16:41):
Like I'm I'll tell you when I knew Rob that
it was changed when women like that's the night out
for the young women, like, oh, we're gonna go there,
Like it's just a cool spot.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Like go there to a strip club a Magic City.
I was there Monday night. Plenty of women there not working.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
It's just a club at this point, guys, Like, that's
what I'm saying, Like even if you.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
Go to like normal clubs in La Arizona, Like I
would go out in Arizona all the time and we
would go to the clubs out there and you would
just have dancers, Like it's just a normal thing now,
like it's something that people go to, Like I don't
think it's too taboo anymore to where you say Hey, Like,
you're going to a strip club. It's not okay, ye
go there my tables. It's not you're not going for
the girls as much anymore, you know, it's it's more
for the experience the club. You're buying it.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
Everybody's on on their phones on the apps in there.
It's like the place of bottle service. They're coming with
the marquee with your name on it and sprinkle it.
I guess a whole movement now, soorry, but still not
enough to just be expanded enough the job and going
to the ATMs.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
No, let's not have one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Hey John in South Carolina, you're on the couple of
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
What's up, John?

Speaker 1 (17:46):
You're still going to strip clubs?

Speaker 8 (17:50):
You know what I used to go to strip clubs,
And what I'm gonna say about that is, you know,
people people go there just for the entertainment. It's like
the feel like you're important. But it's not that big
a deal to me anymore. But I understand why people
do it.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah, it's a night out and it's a you know,
if you don't want to just go to a bar,
you know, you could go in, you could get a
drink and people are walking around as an ambiance to it.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
I do get that, John, no doubt. All right, buddy,
thank you John. Yeah. How about Jay in Georgia. You're
in the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Ja?

Speaker 9 (18:28):
Yeah? What's the kid?

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Jy?

Speaker 4 (18:30):
What you're gonna tell me? You don't go to strip club?
Have you ever been?

Speaker 9 (18:35):
I say, right below Atlanta? So I go at the time.
But it's the thing like back in my younger days
six now, okay, I would go for the girls and
stuff then, but now I just go get some chicken wings,
hot limit pepper, Hot limit peppers.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
I haven't had the hot.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
I haven't had hot.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Yeah, you've got the hot. I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
We've had the Louis William, right, lou williams limon pepper
at the Magic City.

Speaker 6 (19:03):
I can't believe he didn't come out with a sauce yet,
Lemon alemon prepper, Rub.

Speaker 10 (19:09):
William for sure.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Yeah all right.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
So but he's saying he's older now he wants food.

Speaker 9 (19:16):
Our other girls and stuff is gone from the script club.
Because you can have on any social media site and
see that like anytime.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
I agree with you, because it's it's so out there.
Back in the old days, you couldn't see what you
can see now.

Speaker 9 (19:29):
Yeah. But but I think when it comes to the
NFL p A, they didn't go to show high crazy
that the players are, that they let everybody take advantage
of them because all the time that they got the
worst union in sports. And he's just another example on
why they really need to get.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
It together and they do.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Man, Jay, you you're right, just spot on, just spot on.
It's bad. It really is bad.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
It just continues to happen, man.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
And just so you and I are gonna be having
the same conversation in the year when something else comes
out or some league group former players are still aren't
getting paid for the from the CTE stuff. It's just
crazy how this works, all right.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Like, have you ever been to don't know, I've never been.
Mayweather has a strip club in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
No, those days are long behind me.

Speaker 9 (20:15):
I know.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
You know, you got three babies, Yeah you know. Yeah,
trying to like keep a PC so that anybody listening says, oh.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Key was talking about strip clubs. Hasn't been to a
strip club since Moby Dick was a guppy.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
The baby guppy, don't matter of fa. He was just
floating around with Pops. No when you were younger. Yeah,
I just I'll tell you this. Bad things can happen
there too, And a lot of times these players get
caught up in stupid stuff there. If you listen to
some of the worst story they have, where was it
it was there? That that that can often be the
case as well. Or you can just go have a

(20:50):
great time like Rob Sean King on the way, we're
down with the King. Down with the King. Yeah, we
have talked to Sean. In a minute, we'll have a
conversation with him just a second after Steve gets your
set on what's trending.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
Hey, hey, they're on the Major League Baseball scoreboard.

Speaker 11 (21:02):
Raiser leading the Orioles eleven to nothing at the seventh
inning stretch, Tiger scoreless at Texas in the bottom of
the fifth, the Rockies are winning five to nothing over
the Twins. It's only bottom of the third Colorado with
a record of twenty two and seventy four this year.
The Braves lead now seven to three against the Yankees
in the top of the seventh. Yankees all star pitcher
Max Freed is out this weekend with a blister. Guardians

(21:25):
lead is eight to four against the A's top of
the ninth. Royals now tied at Miami five to five
with the Marlins bottom of the ninth inning. The Reds
are leading at the Mats seven to two. In the
top of the eighth. Four home runs for Cincinnati. Blue
Jays lead the Giants four to nothing in the bottom
of the eighth. Giants starter Justin Verlander, who's ozho to
seven this year, lasted two and two third innings. The

(21:48):
Angels have taken the lead at Philadelphia six five, now
bottom of the ninth inning. Padres lead three to two
at the Nationals in the top of the ninth. They've
just finished the White Sox win ten to one at Pittsburgh.
The Cubs were winners today for to one over Boston,
ending the Red Sox ten game winning streak. Sey Suzuki
had a three run homer in the first the loss

(22:09):
to Lucas Gilito, who was six and one this year.
Scottie Scheffler leads the Open by one stroke after a
second round sixty four in Northern Ireland. Matt Fitzpatrick from
England is in second place. Rory McElroy is tied for twelve,
seven shots back Sergio Garcia barely made the cut at
one overpart, as did Bryson De'shambo. The Patriots signed second

(22:30):
round running back Trevion Henderson four years fully guaranteed. The
Bears gave second round wide receiver Luther Burden a fully
guaranteed deal. No second round pick had ever received a
fully guaranteed contract until this year. The WNBA is on
All Star Weekend in Indianapolis. Sabrina Yanescuho won the three
point shootout. Caitlin Clark, now injured, was due to be

(22:51):
in that contest. The skills challenge went to New York's
Natasha Cloud. The WNBA All Star Game is Saturday. The
Clippers officially signed Bradley Beale cleared waivers. In the quarterfinals
of the Women's Soccer euro Spain eliminated Switzerland to nothing
despite missing two penalty kicks. The quarterfinals and Saturday on
Fox TV with France against Germany, and the next IndyCar

(23:13):
Race is Sunday on the Streets of Toronto on Fox TV.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
Back to you all right, Steve, Hey, have a great
weekends and you appreciate you as always. Our couple Robin
Kelvin on a fucky flashback Friday. We joined now our
man Seaun King, former NFL quarterback Sean King on X
and we are down with the King.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Indeed, Seawan, what's up? Run up, Sean?

Speaker 10 (23:33):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Hearing you must meet?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Football season is around the corner.

Speaker 10 (23:40):
Absolutely, I cannot wait.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Well, I want to start here.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Uh with the Browns that got a thousand quarterbacks?

Speaker 4 (23:50):
What will happen with Shador?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
According to reports, he's not in the mix that it's
going to be.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Between picket and.

Speaker 12 (24:05):
Fly.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Yeah, Joe Flacco, where are you on this?

Speaker 10 (24:09):
I would say this, I am pulling for your door
because I think he's at his core a really good kid.
But this should be an example when you annoy yourself,
Like generally, when you become legendary because everybody else calls
you legendary, when you get your jersey retired, is because

(24:31):
I mean you you brought some championships to the school,
or you know, you're the all time leader in this
or that. Because of the self promotion. He's got to
become the starter for the Cleveland Browns game one if
any of that has any actual foundation to it, because
there are no elite quarterbacks in the quarterback when We're

(24:54):
talking about a kid, Dylan Gabriel who was overdrafted. I
had a six round grade on Dylan Grayble. We're talking
about Joe Flacco who when we saw him play last
year Indy, he was so bad they went back to
Anthony Richardson. And we're talking about a guy that's on
his third team and what is this four or five

(25:15):
years so?

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Well, what does that say about your door though they
didn't even know that's.

Speaker 10 (25:19):
That's what I'm saying. Is he a legendary like he
annoying himself, then he should be able to be the
starter week one in that quarterback room.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
But hold on, Sean, let me jump in. I hear
what you're saying.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
And I think rob and I talked about I do
think there's an element of I told Robert Least. I
think there was an element we want to humble this kid.
But everything you're telling me.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
I don't agree with that, and I'm showing you. I
want I want you to answer this.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
People.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Hold on, you said this just because because that's a
big I hear people saying that we're going to humble
this kid. Okay, like general managers, coaches, they're trying to win,
Like Seriously, you can't tell me that somebody who knows
football is not going to picture Doors Sanders on some
idea of humbling a kid. If you need a quarterback

(26:06):
and this guy's a star, I don't buy that.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
Okay, you don't buy that. But here is what I
was trying to say. My point, Sean, and I hear
what Rob's saying. However, I absolutely believe that, not that
there was some concerned effort, because if he were Andrew
luck talent, he's still gonna go. But my point is,
if every grade you were you you or goog were
you've studied this stuff. If everybody that Rob and I
have had on this show tell us all the other

(26:28):
quarterbacks that are taken were not better than him, and
that he came out as a first round at worst,
top second round draft a pick, then why all of
a sudden he dropped the fifth And it doesn't make sense.
No one else would It was like anybody else outside
of of course cam Ward was graded that highly or
highly regarded.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Make it make sense? Then, well, I.

Speaker 10 (26:48):
Think anytime you go for a job interview, you have
your right to present yourself at where you want, But
then you can't play the victim. If the company don't
like how you interviewed, and I think that's what we saw.
What we saw, we should do it. But the NFL,
the majority of teams, didn't like how we interviewed. Whether
it's right, wrong, indifferent, that's the past. He chose. He

(27:09):
has every right to choose it. But you can't play
the victim when it don't work out. So now all
of that's in the past. It actually worked out in
his favor. If he's as good as he thinks he is,
he should be the starring quarterback in Cleveland. There is
no legitimate competition in that quarterback.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Do you believe he's gonna be the starting quarterback on
Week one? Because I don't see it.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I don't know. I don't I don't see it at all.

Speaker 10 (27:34):
I do because I don't think he's competing against anything,
And I think it's gonna be undeniable once we get
in live football. As great of a player as Joe
Flacco has been, he's now old. I think it's gonna
be undeniable. That it's a reason Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
So you're picking him to be the starting quarterback week one?
Is what you're doing? Okay, hold this take because I
think there's a chance will be cut from the stopping
that serious, right, I'm dead cow. Many there's too many
quarterbacks and Sean. He was not drafted by the general
manager of the coach. This was an owner sticking his

(28:10):
head in the last minute, say he just go take
Shador because nobody if they really wanted this kid and
they scouted him, Sean, they had two picks in the
second round. Seriously, if they really believed that the idea
was drafted so low is because nobody had taken him.
Even as stealers. People were begging, Oh, they need a quarterback.
Oh they don't want to get Aaron Rodd they on quarterback,

(28:31):
Go get Shador. It could have been something special, right,
you go get your quarterback for the next twelve, fifteen
years or all that. Nobody Shawn and it's not that
that many people. The reason they stayed away from him
is if you don't believe he's quarterback starting material, you
don't want a celebrity backup quarterback.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
That's why Tim Tebow couldn't keep a job. Nobody wants
a celebrity backup quarterback.

Speaker 10 (28:55):
You know that Pittsburg. Pittsburg avoided him because they were
all in with Aaron Rodgers, and because Aaron Rodgers hadn't signed,
they didn't want to do anything that would make Aaron
House second thoughts about coming to Pittsburgh. Let me say this, Rob,
ninety eight percent of the time, you were one of
the most intelligent people I know. That comment you just
made was the other two percent what you said, the

(29:18):
owner made the decision that takes your door Sanders, and
then you say he's gonna get cut. Now, one thing
I know about when you the owners.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Got no, no, no, yes they can cut you because
because they could say give them a flyer and then
ultimately the coach in general manager, they didn't even give them.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
First team reps in mini camp. What would have been
the crime? What would have been the crime?

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Jake repit?

Speaker 10 (29:41):
Yeah, can I say something? And this is this is
for every media person that covers the National Football League.
Take nothing from OTA's absolutely nothing.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah, but there's nothing, there's no reason. Then there's no
reason why can't he can't get reps in with the
first team. That then what would be the reason for
not allowing him to go up with the best people?

Speaker 10 (30:07):
Tell you, I'm about to tell you the reason that
he did not get first team reps was because Joe
Flacco and Kenny Pickett when neither were there last year.
So your two quarterbacks are the oldest that were on
the team, the longest are also in their first year. Now,
I know Fla over there a couple of years ago,
but maybe there's some things that Come on.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Man, you could have got him a couple of reps.

Speaker 10 (30:30):
Come on, listen, listen, you got you gotta think about
this now. And this is something that that I like
to educate when I come on here. Remember the off season.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
The man getting cut.

Speaker 10 (30:43):
Listen, listen. The off season program has been collectively bargained
in the National Football League. Y'all got to understand. These
aren't long practices. These are practices where a.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Team like Nobody's getting first team snaps.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
He got none, right, So so.

Speaker 10 (30:59):
Think about this. When you say first team, that means
that my first team O lion is out there, my
first team wide receivers are there. When you only got
twelve reps, you see what I'm saying, and they got
four quarterbacks.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
If he doesn't start on opening day for the Browns,
what would I.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Say to you?

Speaker 10 (31:18):
Then? All the legendary and jersey retirement stuff was completely
bogus and it was self created and none of it
is legitimate.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Okay, y'all, y'all both think way higher in the NFL
than I do.

Speaker 6 (31:29):
I think he absolutely could not start week one and
then by week four be starting because they try to
go with flac o just to win now, because he's
the more vagable.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Right if we talked about the way Matt Flynn with Seattle,
if you got a better counter back and Russell Wilson,
he showed up and they were like, he's better.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
We don't care what the contract is.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Sean.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
You know the half seven quarterbacks when you play, whoever's
the best quarterback should be playing. I R and I
think it's already should do it. They know it should do.
They already know it should do.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
So we'll see.

Speaker 10 (32:00):
I don't know if you can say that. I think
they're probably flashes and all of them have had, but
you won't really know until we get to live contact football.
I'm just it's impossible in shorts like I play position,
and it's a different mindset when we're in practice and
I know they're not gonna hit me, no doubt. Then

(32:24):
when you get in the game and it's live and
they can actually really hit you. So you just won't
be able to really put an exclamation point on anyone's
performance until we get to live football and I see
whoever performs the best, that's who's gonna start. Cleveland's not
in a position to have a super talented first year
player at any position that they don't play. They're not

(32:46):
good like that. They're trying to create optimism for the future.
They're trying to galvanize the fan base. It sure Door
outperforms the other three. He'll start game one if he does,
and he won't. It's up to him.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
You know he's not starting game one. I don't bout
that for one second. And when he gets cut, you
better call that.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
I can't believe you call the show down. Don't even
make any sense.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
While they were cutting it one have they got too
many quarterbacks? So then you cut the old guy and
the guy nobody wanted a KNDy pick, Like, why would
you cut your.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Door, Kevin?

Speaker 10 (33:17):
Kevin, Rob'm saying it gonna cut your door. The second
most ridiculous thing I've heard today. I was watching the
Braves Yankees game and announcer said, Ronald Locula is the
Braves greatest player of all time.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
No, he did not know, he didn't you know, he
did not have.

Speaker 10 (33:31):
You forgot about Karen?

Speaker 2 (33:32):
And did he really say that? Did he really say
that that he said that ten years.

Speaker 10 (33:38):
Your comment is almost on the same level of audacity?

Speaker 12 (33:43):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (33:43):
All right?

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Well, we'll see you know, you know I'm right all
the time. I'm just saying all the time.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
Yep, yeah, right, yeah, real quick, Michael Parsons, why why
wait if you're Jerry Jones, because you're just Jerry Jones,
Jerry joneson know.

Speaker 10 (34:00):
I think Michael Parsons was trying to wait on TJ.

Speaker 12 (34:02):
Watt.

Speaker 10 (34:03):
And now that TJ. Watt's contract has been announced, I
think you'll see that one get done.

Speaker 6 (34:09):
All right, So these guys are trying to wait, see
the lamb of maybe try to wait. And well, if
I'm if I'm Jerry, I'm making this stuff happen early.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I'm doing it in the.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
Season, setting up market. I'm not waiting exactly, I'm setting
the market.

Speaker 10 (34:20):
Well, but but you don't want to take a deal
and then TJ get more than you Now your agent
looks crazy because Mike is younger than TJ.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
Right, But somebody will have to wait, meaning the TJ man,
because then Michael got more and than this person, somebody
gonna be lower.

Speaker 10 (34:36):
Well, i mean, look at the quarterbacks who look out.
The quarterbacks will have gone over the last two years.
Every time some quarterback, every time one of the guys
signs the deal, the next guy gets a little bit more.
Just look at it. You can go see it.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Next man up.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Yeah, well, I mean we know that whoever whoever's next up.
But I'm just saying, so the more.

Speaker 10 (34:55):
The second most premium position in football is pass rusher.
So there's a shoes it was doing the same thing.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Yeah, yeah, I ain't Matt.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
I ain't mad at Michael trying to get all the money.
But if I'm Jerry, I already blew it with that
giving him sixty. He's still the highest page.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Wait, he waited way too long onto that.

Speaker 6 (35:10):
It ain't been worth it. All right, And we appreciate
you Seanan as always.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
And you better call back. Okay, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Ludicrist That man said, Rob, They're gonna not cut those
doors Sanders.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Right, that's the crazy That is the craziest thing. It's
like a very long time.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
Just like you said that Tis wouldn't get fired. Remember
that one, Remember you.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Took way crazy.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
But then you tell me that like you just told
them like they.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
I said, they shouldn't think right that.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
They took him to Tims, took them to the.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
I said, I still believe they should.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
I say that that he should be fired. And guess
what happened.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
He was fired and they brought in Mike Brown. Way
to go, Nixt, I was right, way to go, Nicks.
Cut your door. We're gonna put some drawings on that.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
You don't want that you don't put some doors on that.
Let's do the Lions Bett and what else do we have?
You got.

What's how you got what up?

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Man?

Speaker 7 (37:39):
I'm glad, I'm dead man. Let me let me give
a shout out to Rob g Man since I haven't
been able to get in, but I've been getting on
the line. That's like the La lakers Man Lebron's version
Man got stood up at the Aultar like Lamont on
the episode of Sad from It's sign right.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
Yes, indeed.

Speaker 7 (38:00):
So bum Bradley Bradley big deal. Bill decided not to
go to them, and it wasn't because of this that
and the third lebronness what forty seven, knowing that they're
not gonna be able to win, So that was probably
the better deal. I'm not trying to hand that Austin
Reeve is better than him, you know, whine because Bill

(38:22):
has a big contract, the need to call him Bradley
book deal Bill.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
There you go, Mjy, Thank you, appreciate the call. Appreciate
he's in a couple of bonus.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Last calls.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
How about Hammy Green Hammy in Nebraska?

Speaker 4 (38:37):
A couple of Fox World Radio for the last call?
What's up Hammy?

Speaker 12 (38:42):
Yes, sir, how are we doing? Guys? I say I
agree with the why shaduor Sanders will be cut the guy?
The guy don't take snaps under center. And not only that,
when he came into Lincoln, Nebraska, my corn husters just
handed it to him. Twenty eight nothing at halftime. Yeah,
they got one little touchdown in the second half thanks

(39:03):
to no thanks to him, thanks to that wide receiver,
cornerback whatever you want to call that guy too. But
as I'm saying, he shouldn't even have been drafted, the
only reason he got drafted is because of the Daddy.
Other than that, he shouldn't even be hon a squad.
I agree one hundred percent he probably won't be on
the roster come week four.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Hemy Man, we can put some wings on it. We'll
put some wings on it.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
Our hammy, Hammy came strong to the mic.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
Let's squeeze one more last call in Josh in South Carolina.
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio, and you
are indeed the last call.

Speaker 8 (39:39):

this question when I'm hire people. I'm thirty five years
and managing car dealerships. Name your favorite TVY TV mother
and TV father. Don't have to be on the same
show and favorite movie favorite mother and father. That's my

(40:06):
question for you guys.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Okay, ready, John, I got Herman Munster for father. Okay,
And no, I'm not no, and Esther Roll from Good
Times as the mother.

Speaker 6 (40:18):
Okay, all right, I'm going Uncle Phil for the dad
and I'm going Claire Huxtable for the mom.

Speaker 4 (40:27):
All right, then we got we can't get to the
TV ones.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Yeah, call back with that movie. All back with that.
We'll do that another day.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
Appreciate you all right where you are?

Speaker 2 (40:34):

the weekend?
