In and she said, oh, yeah, you were the pickup
boarder I said yeah. She said all right, and then
she put the price. I said, whoa, wow, yeah, how much?
About five dollars more than I thought it would be,
So anyway, I had to do it.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah, so I know you getting you feel me? You
getting some too?
Speaker 3 (02:22):
And I just got some. Yeah, I saw I'd say

Like I was out, We were we were somewhere.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I wasn't gonna take the day off, but I was
telling carry the little one had her nine month appointment,
and that was like at two in the afternoon, is like, hey,
I want you to take the whole day off. And
then we walked to dinner afterwards, like okay, Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
See you threw baby and I can't get exactly did
you say nine months? Nine months? That is crazy. By
the way, she's a savage like this.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
I don't know about if you have multiple girls, but
the second one is so much worse than well.
Speaker 3 (03:17):

is your favorite. Yeah, and we got Alex of course,
our engineer extraordinari.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
No horse, no Stallion.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I'm still baffled that you would pay harvest bar prices.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
There's nowhere close to me. What was I supposed to do?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Dude, that's insane. You can get two large ones that
juice it up, that are better fruit than that.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I don't disagree with you, but just the locale proximity
and all that, I know.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
But it's just a robex right across the street.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Really, I mean, yeah, I gotta hear with the Stallion. Okay,
you're here, Alex is here, Stallion's here.
Speaker 3 (03:51):

Speaker 7 (04:42):
Yah.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
All right, A lot to get to you on this
trash talking Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Let's start it off with this rob guh we had.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Of course, I just mentioned it a moment ago.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
It wouldn't be a day in the off season without
the Cowboys being in the news, or Jerry Jones and
Michael Parson's going back bock and forth. And Adam Shefter,
who's obviously always in the no game. Is an update
on where they are right now in that relationship.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
You can't get a deal done if you're not even talking,
And the two sides haven't had any negotiations since late
March or early April, and it.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Sounds like at this point it's personal.
Speaker 8 (05:17):
It sounds like each side is dug in. The Cowboys
have come out and said what they said publicly at
the started training camp, which Micah didn't like. Micah came
out and has to be traded, said he was ready
to move on from Dallas, which I'm sure they didn't like.
And right now both sides seem to be angry. Now,
have all their people put those feelings aside in the
(05:37):
past and figured out a way to work out a deal.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Yeah, I don't see that happening here.
Speaker 8 (05:43):
I see these two sides headed towards a divorce in time.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Well, here we go. Let's just talk about the Dallas Cowboys.
Did Dan get somehow? We always have to? Let's talk
about it, all right?
Speaker 7 (05:56):
Ye? All right?
Speaker 3 (05:56):
So you've got me here to talk about the Dallas Cowboys.
I'm Gosar calling the Dallas chat Boys the Dallas chat
chatty chatty chatty chatty caddies. All they do is chatty's talk.
It's this, it's Micah, It's Jerry Jones and and it's
happening during the season, off season, pick a season, it's happening.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
And so here we are again.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
You got Michael with the podcast, You got Jerry Jones
on radio shows and all the places that he loves
to just carry on these conversations, including they got the
new documentary that's coming out as well.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
So here's the problem.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
All this chatter is actually costing them everything that actually matters,
which you know from being in those locker rooms, continuity,
team chemistry, Uh, you know, having that that bond, that
thing where you know or feeling good about moving forward.
What do we always hear you guys talk about in
locker rooms and clubhouses. We don't want the D word distractions,
And yet here we are with the Cowboys, and it
(06:48):
always seems to be distractions. And it's crazy because it
comes from your owner. It's not coming from some annoyed
backup quarterback or something you know, or some running back
who's discrunned. It's always coming from from your owner. So
let's talking a little bit more about it. You got
Michah Parsons who started the DeMarcus Lawrence stuff. Remember he
was talking about him when DeMarcus Lawrence left, he was
(07:08):
talking smack about him. Then DeMarcus Lawrence going back to him,
and they were going back and forth. And when you
start to do stuff like that, would imagine DeMarcus Lawrence
was a guy in the locker room at least half
the guys like and so now when you're talking about
a guy who left, and it starts to make him
look at you. Then we got reports that we are
reports that some of the guys on the Cowboys often
many of them are looking at Micah like you're always
talking as if you're.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
Our leader and you're not.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Oh oh, there are reports that that you're not that
leader like that. And then Michah, to his own sabotage,
jumps out and he's talking about men, I want to
be a cowboy, don't matter. I don't even care about
the money. I just want to get the deal done.
Your agent don't want to hear that, and especially publicly.
Tell me this privately and we'll see if we can
get a deal done. Then you got Jerry Jones. Reports
are coming out that they had an opportunity they thought
(07:50):
about resigning Micah two years ago, and he said, nah
Son and Jerry put an axe on that and said no,
well then we go out of course, Jerry Jones, now he's.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Talking about what Michael gets. You could hit by a train.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
First of all, why would you even say that about anybody,
let alone your best player in the franchise, who has
then nothing, but I want to be here and be
a cowboy.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
So now he can get hit by a train. Look
at it.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
He missed six games last year. It was only four.
So now you're making me look like I missed more
than I really do. And as Adam Schefter will start,
so now you start to get this issue where it's
like a divorce for them.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
So to me, loose lips shit sink.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Ships, and that's what's happening here, loose lips, the sinking ships.
Where you got this team, best player argue with the owner,
I don't want to be here, Well we're gonna do this,
And to me, it takes away from what you're trying
to do is get back to being twelve and five,
back to getting in the postseason and finally actually gets
to the NFC Championship game, let alone the Super Bowl.
And here we are again. So now you got your
(08:45):
best player. Your defense wasn't great. Last year you had
a bunch of injuries, including in but he was still spectacular.
Still came up with I believe twelve sacks. Yeah, And
so to me, this is I don't understand why we
find ourselves in this position again time and time again.
But this is just what the Cowboys using. Now they're
gonna lose the best player. Obviously, be a trade and
get a bunch of picks, but you just don't know
what that's gonna be.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
And again you lose.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
And if you're Micah, it should be a lesson learned
that it's okay to lock in and focus on the
football and your team. It's okay to not always have
to speak. Leadership doesn't mean you have to talk, right,
I agree, But the Cowboys ship has already been sunk
for a while.
Speaker 7 (09:23):
Right.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
They don't pay.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
They don't pay the players when they're supposed to regularly,
regularly for and for I mean for their franchise. So
I mean, obviously you know the players are getting their
money eventually. Obviously, Dak did you know they're gonna get
They gave the receiver Ceed Lamb, so Micah is next.
But Micah does too much talking, man, and you hit
it way too much talking. I do not like the
podcast during the season. And I'm not one of those
(09:47):
angry veteran players, like old school players that played before
that's that's gonna talk about them doing this podcast and
he shouldn't, And I'm saying he shouldn't for the reason
of what you just talked about.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
The team hasn't been good.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
If the team was and everything was going well, obviously
the podcast would be more recepted, right, That's just the nature.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Of the beast.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
But when you're not playing well and your team isn't
playing well, and you're sitting there talking about keys for
the week and what I need to be looking for
from this, like you don't give that information up like
these things you talk about loose lips in the organization.
On my team in New York when we had man Jennie,
I mean, it was so locked down. We didn't give
any game playing stuff away. We didn't give depth charge
(10:27):
stuff like we don't. He was coming from that Patriot way, right, exactly.
The secrets of the trade you do not give out.
And so people in these players with these podcasts during
the season giving out information and bringing on guests from different.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Teams it's like, dude, what are you doing different? It's insane.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
So and the other part about Micah for me, when
it comes to getting paid, he's going to get paid.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
He's one of the best at his position.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
But I also think he I also don't think he's
lived up to where he think he is either in
this league. And so we talked about the numbers a
lot of times, his numbers never come up in games
that count, Like I need him to step up in
games account to show that he is that guy for
me personally, right, And so there's so many moving parts.
I mean, the Jerry Jones thing. It's just he needs
(11:09):
to step away and we all we all know that.
I think everybody around the organization knows that as well.
But he's just never going to let it go. So
you got you kind of have to ride the wave
and see where it goes. But this Cowboys team, man,
they're in then in trouble. It's way too much noise
coming from a team that's just not good right now.
And and you just mentioned somebody I look at to
kind of be the antithesis of what we're saying with Micah.
(11:30):
Aaron Donald twofold one spoke to the media save what
he needed to say, but didn't have to always broadcast,
didn't that have time the biggest, baddest, And then what
he did was do things when it mattered most in
the big moment, including super Bowls. That's what I'm saying.
Let's go ahead and the ice this game. I mean,
Michaeh hasn't had that chance, but I mean big, but
(11:51):
maybe if he has that in a big game, they
can get them to that exactly, you know what I mean.
And so again I just I just look at it
with Micah. You're really, really, really good. Yes, you don't
need to add the other stuff around you. You don't
need to. You need to be really good. And also,
leaders I believe are born you just some people are
(12:14):
just natural leaders, natural born leaders. But I do believe
you also don't have to be the part of the
thing that is ruining the locker room. So meaning maybe
you're not actually the leader. Just because you're our best player,
doesn't mean you're the leader one hundred percent yea. But
also you don't have to be the reason why we're
always talking about this, going through this, you know, and
splitting up the locker room. And I'm not gonna act
like I have intel that I know the locker room
(12:34):
is split. But what I do know is get from
the report here and I'll even I'll put a go
ahead because I'm gonna.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Put an name to it. Go ahead, go ahead. No,
I'm just gonna say that.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
I think when when you said something on this podcast,
right like you said it speaking for the team, Yes,
speak for yourself. If you're doing your podcast, that's I mean,
whatever you want to do, do it then right like
they're gonna do it.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Speak on yourself.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Don't speak about every situation that's happened like you're the voice.
You're the voice of the cow was because obviously it
doesn't seem that he's that guy I want to throw
a name without talking about So this is according to
Jane Slater, NFL media reporter Jane Slater, Cowboys internally discussed
the idea of trading Michael a couple of years ago
and Jerry said, no, that that's what I mean. Let
(13:16):
me clarify that they talked about tradings Michael a couple
of years ago and Jerry said no, which is crazy
because you didn't want to trade him then getting you
know peaks and peak value, but you also don't want
to sign him now, you know earlier like we what
are we doing?
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Jerry? Make up your mind?
Speaker 3 (13:33):
And also Slater went on to talk about the fact
that Micah's comments on his podcast of rough Teammates the
wrong way, the team didn't always believe in him when
he called himself the leader of the team, and that
one coach even said nearly every player was in my
office telling us we needed to do something about him.
So I want to put the exact thing on there
and make sure this isn't me just saying stuff. This
is coming from someone in tune with the Dallas Cowboys
(13:55):
and their lackers there so so Jerry.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
But we know this.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Rob and I sit here week after week having these
conversations about Jerry Jones. We got the new show that's
come out, the new documentary as well on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
So it's just stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
It's story after story, and many of us sit up
here and say, well, it's nothing's gonna change until Jerry
either finally for real hands off. And I don't even
mean to say this sounding like an insensitive passes away.
I mean that's sincerely like because he's I'm not you know,
I'm the one, I gotta be doing it. I got
a lot on it, stranglehold or when he says something
(14:32):
like this.
Speaker 9 (14:35):
I'm often asked the question. But on our heart of
general manager, I've.
Speaker 10 (14:40):
Had people that said, Jerry, you subject yourself to so
much criticism, you need a buffer.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
I don't like it like that.
Speaker 9 (14:50):
I like the pain.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
I like the pain. So the question is does he
need to hire a GM? Will he need will he
a GM? And what will it take to make that happen.
We'll answer that on the other side. Kerry Rose in
the building for Robs the Ocoble Kevin Washington on a
trash talking Tuesday.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
We are Fox Sports Radio. Stick and stay.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Unless you're a fan of Jerry Jones in the us

app so it always pop up there on top of
the screen. E for Salamon about five minutes or so,
rob G. That's a great conversation. We need to we
need to mark that down maybe later on. Rob G
came in the studio and he asks us essentially, where
do you draw the line, Like there's a certain point
where you pay.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
For convenience and you just like just do it.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Yeah, I just it just saves me time, or saves
me a hassle, or saves me a drive, or saves
me whatever. It's just worth it for me. I know
it's a little bit more right. But rob Zie said,
where is thing or two that you draw the line? Like,
I don't give a dang, how can you I'm not
paying that for that, right, So you don't have to
have answer. But I like that that's the one we
might have to do. We have to think about that.
Maybe drop that little bit later on in the show.
That's a good one. Rob g is very inquisitive. Every
(17:11):
time I'm here, he's asking something. But it always about money.
Rob t is an habitual pocket watcher. It is about money.
It really an habitual pocket watcher. My gah, you can't
do nothing a robber. You hey, you can't give a tip?
Oh dam how much was a tip?
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
My gosh, you can't go get it yet. I got
a little smoothie. How much did you pay for that?
I my guys and then and you don't do something
man that that's a T shirt you wore, that's cheap
for you. Right then he disrespects you. Boy, I tell
you all right real quick. Alex Douman favor hit the
Jerry Jones again. Him talking about people ask me why
don't I be getting another GM?
Speaker 9 (17:47):
I'm often answer the question why don't in general manager.
Speaker 10 (17:52):
I've had people that said, Cherry, you subject yourself to
so much criticism you need a buffer.
Speaker 9 (18:00):
I don't like it like that. I like the pain.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Would this is not He's not Jerry Wick. This isn't
John Wick. I don't want to hear about I like
the pain. What you got a fan base who are
doing nothing but dealing with pain? May sound like Liam Neeson.
I'm taking taking exactly? What do you mean you like
the pain? That's pay for cowboy fans.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
It's pain for your son because part of him has
to be like that. I got it.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
No, it's not, let me do it. Jared Jones had
on baby or ready to step into the ring. Sounded
like m man. He sounded like Apollo Creed or what
was what was mister t mister t uh? He was
was his head again? Rob Gi mister t and rock
club something he would have said.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
I like the pain. I pity the food. Who does
it like the pain?
Speaker 3 (18:54):
I like the pain stopping Jerry putting the.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
Entire Cowboy nation through the pain.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Oh man, the Lions have been to an NFC championship
game before the Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
That's right, that's crazy, that's right.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
And if you listen to it at the end, he
was a little whimpery. He's starting to cry, like, I
really don't I like the pain. Hit that again, pain,
my god, stop it, Jerry, And it's and again. But
the thing I like about it is he does remind.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
Us I really don't care about winning.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
I think he wants to win in the sense of, hey,
if it happens. But what's the definition of insanity doing
the same thing over and expecting a different result?
Speaker 4 (19:41):
So if you being the GM, it's a common denominator.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
You keep doing it, and we keep losing, and we
don't win, and we only get so far. Then the
mad and the arrows are pointing at you. So he's
being insane by doing the same thing over and again.
But he reminds us who what NFL franchise worth the
most money? What NFL franchise is always in the news
(20:05):
that the pain what one just has a documentary, The
guy that likes which one sells all these jersey.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
I said, the guy that likes the pain.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
So I think he always reminds us of that, and
I think he would like to win by proxy, meaning
if winning comes with me making us notable, uh you know, trending, controversial,
always in the spotlight, and if winning comes with that, great.
(20:32):
I don't think winning is first for him. Winning is
bigger than life for him, like I'm winning life.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
I make all the money.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
If right now you said think of an NFL owner,
most of us would think of Jerry Jones first. If
by all accounts he's the leader of all the owners.
Things don't happen unless Jerry says it, or at least
most of the time he's kind of spearheading it. So
and again, I'm just Maverick gambling oil man. And I
think for him, winning is all of that all are president,
(21:03):
Meaning winning isn't just Okay, I got in the office.
Now I'm going to the grind of business and just
handling policy. Winning is I want you to know me.
I want you to know I'm the best president. Ever
in his mind, the I'm the best at did I'm
the most popular? Did you see my ratings? Did you
see when I did that interview? How great it was? Like,
I don't want to just win the presidency and now
move on and lock into the job. I want you
to know I want and look at all that, And
that's kind of Jerry. I don't want to just own
(21:25):
I want to own it all. Oh yeah, the other
thing winning winning, winning, forgot about winning. Let me try
to win too. That's the crazy part too, Like I mean,
it's it's very accurate, right, Like we can see that,
we know that, we know that that's the thing. But
right now for Jerry, he just needs to he needs
to sit down.
Speaker 7 (21:41):
Man.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
He ain't sound he sounds winded. He sounds like he
really doesn't care. Hey, it's pain, the pain almost a.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Little Terrence Howard there too, a little bit at the
end of Main, What's up, Maine? What up?
Speaker 7 (21:52):
Main?
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Come on? That was good? Yeah, yeah, I got you.
I do this for a living too.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
You know you got a song a movie dropping on
the same day with your t I is Atlanta and
album dropping it. You don't know me, all right? Efram
Salam in just a moment. He's putting his headphones on.
He's locked in Steve the Seger.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
It is the Odd Couple kelvin Washington, Carrie Rhoades, What
perfect timing for you to be in for Rob Parker
because I don't know what he was saying right now
with our guest Efram Salaam, former NFL offensive line and
Fox Sports Radio Weekend hosts Efram Salam on Socials, he man,
(22:44):
you here, the phone.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Connection is working.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
I'm here just making sure and make sure it want
none dropped to make sure Rob g didn't want to,
you know, accidentally hit the end button and nothing.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
I just wanted to make sure that he was good.
Speaker 7 (22:57):
Make sure you didn hang up on me.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Yeah, just making sure sure. Yeah, we have some uh
have some. Yeah, we have some in house family fighting.
Man who started? He started, I'm gonna just make you think.
I don't think you have to think too hard. Yeah
that was yeah, but we turned the new page.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
We had family. That's what family do.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Right, we do we we we fight, we make up,
We come on, get you some greens coming up in
the house. It's all right exactly. Man, let's talk about this.
We started the show. The divorce is what Adam Scheffer's
kind of calling it. The marriage ain't gonna last. When
you talk about Micah and Jerry Jones and what's happening
there in Dallas, what's up?
Speaker 4 (23:39):
What's the latest for you? Where are you are?
Speaker 3 (23:42):
They better wipe their hands clean, say good Rid and
get the trade and move on. Or he's your best player,
you gotta find a way to sign him.
Speaker 7 (23:48):
Well, I think they've waited to a point where he's
your best player. You gotta try to find a way
to sign him the best time. If they felt like
this was on the horizon, what's to trade him before
the draft, which would allow them to accumulate superior draft
capital which they could have used this year and next year.
But of course, you know, Jerry's gonna do things Jerry's
(24:10):
way and draw this thing out like we've seen them
do the last two years with their star players, one
being Dak Prescott, the other being Ceedee Lamb. So I
mean this was on brand. You got to remember those
two deals came towards the end of training camp and
(24:30):
going into the season. But I mean this has been
completely mismanaged, like always, the reason it's been thirty some
odd years that the Cowboys haven't really been relevant, And
it's just you know, Jerry. To me, it was phenomenal
what he did helped building the league and the popularity
in the Dallas Cowboys, but he's a bit out of
(24:52):
touch when it comes to now doing the type of
deals and putting a team on the field that can
really compete and not just you know, resting his laurels
on the brand that is the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Yeah, we know how how how much in shambles that
team is right now, the organization. But I'm want to
move on to a team that made a big, big
decision today with the Colts. They they chose Daniel Jones
over Anthony Richardson to be the starting quarterback in the
season opener. What do you feel about that? And what
do you think the direction of the Colts? You know,
where do you think they're going right now?
Speaker 7 (25:25):
Well, I don't think they're going anywhere, but I don't
think they have that I don't think they have a
viable starting quarterback and Richardson and in Jones. Jones is
the safe bet, you know, I don't. I presume at
some point both the quarterbacks will play extended time this year.
(25:47):
But this for Jones, this is an opportunity for rebirth,
for him to really. Neither one of them, you know,
did anything where I was like, Okay, I see you
know the progression and in preseason and of course or
his pre season, so I don't want to put too
much on that, but nothing has happened to where I'm like, oh, okay,
(26:08):
this is great for Daniel, this is a great situation
and for Richardson, like I was like, oh, I didn't.
I never had a moment where I was like, oh,
he's taken. He's taking the lead here. He's not gonna
let his position get taken. So they're a you know,
middle of the pack last and well they had Jacksonville
in that division, so who knows what that's going to be,
(26:31):
but you know, there's probably positioning themselves to get one
of the six quarterbacks coming out in the draft next year.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
If salam Our guests of course, former NFL offensive lineman.
You hear him on the weekends here, Fox sports radio.
Let me ask you, there's we kind of know like
the Cowboys gonna be the headlines for good, bad, and different.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
They're going to be there.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
If you have the most polarizing player in the shadure,
they're going to talk about that as well. But there's
some other teams that are going to quietly made some
good moves, kind of quietly have done some things and
had some good seasons. Who's a team for you that
you're looking at and saying, you know what, they're in
prime position as we get closer and closer to you know,
the first games I throw a team like maybe the Buccaneers.
(27:11):
Are they in a position somebody we're not thinking about,
we're not talking about. Is it maybe the resurgence of CJ.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Shroud? Is it the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Everybody thought they're gonna jump off fall off a cliff
and they might be good. Who's a team that you're
saying watch out for them?
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Low key?
Speaker 7 (27:25):
I think the the obvious thing is the forty nine ers.
I think, okay, based on their strength of schedule and
people being healthy and you know, no holdouts. They had
a couple of MESSI holdouts, the health of Christian McCaffrey
the second best running back in the league when he's healthy.
(27:46):
I think, just based on that, in their strength of schedule,
I think this bowls This bowls well for them. A
lot of people are probably counting them out, but in
that divis I think they're going to surprise a lot
of people and they could be one of those teams
that are ten and two, you know, eleven and two
(28:09):
when we you know, look up around the Christmas break.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
I'm not mad at that. I mean more, I think
brock Perdy is happy.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
He's got his money, They're able to keep some guys
and and probably feel like, now that we're healthy, this
is what we thought we would be last year.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
You know, I'm not mad at that. You know, it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
So I want to talk about the NFC North, right,
we know how competitive that division is going to be.
I think a lot of people have the Vikings as
the best overall team.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
I was tripping, which no, no, you heard me.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Obviously contingent on the quarterback player, but that's where I'm
That's where I'm going. So if they're putting the Vikings,
you know, as that favorite team to win a division,
how big of a season does JJ McCarthy has to have.
Does he have to be a transcendent type of quarterback
or does he just need to be a really good
player for that team to still be looked at looked
at as one of the number one teams in that division.
Speaker 7 (28:59):
Well, he's a tough situation. Is basically a lose lose situation. Yeah,
you know, and and all the noise coming out of
camp is there there's a lot of uncertainty of what
type of year, what type of player he's gonna be.
But what Sam Donald was ever to was able to
do last year with that team puts a lot of
(29:20):
pressure on JJ McCarthy because, I mean, he wins nine
games for a rookie, that's amazing. But like you said,
with that roster and with that team, that would be
underperforming because a journeyman future, past first round flame out
was able to take that team deep into the playoff. Well,
(29:43):
you know, I had a phenomenal record, win the division,
play tremendous football, and and and now they didn't re
sign them, and now it's you and essentially with the
same team you we only managed to win nine nine games,
And that's a lot, right, that's a lot to handle.
(30:03):
And people even if he did win nine games and
he you know, you know, doubled his turnovers, his touchdowns
a turnover ratio, they it still would be a fail
because the team is that good. So it's tough spot
for him to be in. But hey, man, this is
when you're a first round draft pick and you got
a lot of expectations. This is this you would rather
(30:26):
be with a good team than a team that they're
trying to build around you.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
And you mentioned too, it's kind of what you were
saying there right there, Carrie, about he's in a division
where if the Lions win it, nobody would be like
overlea shot.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
You might pick the Vikings, but you wouldn't be shot.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Of course if the Packers win, you wouldn't be like
what And a lot of people think the Bears are
going to be solid maybe nine ten eleven games, So
I mean, they're in a very tough division where everybody's
looking at you saying, all right, JJ, right, you know,
take us to the Promised Land. Oh yeah, by the way,
your first time starting in the NFL as well, So
good luck there.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
I man, we appreciate you as always, brother, you say.
Speaker 7 (31:00):
To you absolutely Brothers say all right.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Look at it. We made it through the whole call too.
Is that how you conduct an interview? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Man, listen man, okay, it was Yeah, that's that's how
it goes. Yeah, let it, let it. I gotta be gandhi.
You know, gotta be gandhi. You know, k Teresa mother,
Teresa's son.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Whatever. It takes sometimes to get done.
Speaker 7 (31:23):
You know.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Hey, play of the day on the way.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
And also is a question that was kind of going
around that'll want to throw to you and the crew
will do that as well.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
It's the odd couple.
Speaker 3 (31:32):

there's the leave with just one pill. Alite provides up

Please use as directed and carry. It is now time
for our tire rack play of the day.
Speaker 13 (32:30):
Empty back to you. They're standing around the nineteen yard line.
Three wide receivers to the left, chick of the right,
both of them on the right inside the numbers. They
picked up a late blitcher. Lorgan Wilson hit up Damiels
with the steak to the ten to five kits away
from another touchdown touchdown Washington. The tough this up Daniels
at the.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Goal line and they storm commander's radio. There Jane Daniels
getting in the endzone gun and it's funny. They asked
him that. A little bit later, let me read this
and I'll ask you what they mentioned that it's a
tie right place of the day. For over forty years,
tire Reck has been helping customers find the right tires
for how and where they drive. Ship fast and free
back by Freewee has a protection with convenient installation options
(33:09):
like mobile tire installation, tire reck dot com, the way
tire buying should be. Uh, do you heard I don't
know if you heard of the After the game, they're like, oh,
did the coach say anything? The DQ say anything? Dan Quinny,
you know, he was like, I mean, you know, I
don't know. They're like, did you think about sliding it on?
And he was like no, Like he's just like, nah,
I'm getting in an end zone.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Yeah, when you get scored and they score. They said,
did he say anything?
Speaker 3 (33:32):
You know, he said, well, he took me off the
game after that, and he thought so just that as
far as you know, you're by far star player, your
quarterback and gonna be the key. So you're making it
back to the postseason, not sliding in the preseason game,
trying to run or you just say, it is what
it is, man.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
It's it's it's hard.
Speaker 7 (33:49):
Man.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
He's out there competing.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Obviously, it's a good sign for him and his team
that he still has that edge and he's trying to
go out and scoring put up points.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
We get it.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
It's the preseason, Jayden, get your butt down, man, That's
what I'm saying. Obviously, that touchdown doesn't even count on
your stats, your record, on your team record, Jaden slide, buddy.
That's so tough though, because doesn't that isn't that the
thing that like, no, I know, invigorates the team and
makes guys believe in you.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
And yeah not in the preseason. Be smart, you're our
guy right now.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
So if he slid and took knee, I wouldn't take
his head off in the locker room, You're like, I
get it. No, not him, no, not him, no no, no, no,
all right, not a backup. Go get in there, go
get in you, go get that.
Speaker 7 (34:33):
Come on you.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
You're fighting for your life out here. Yeah, ja, our
whole season riding on you. Exactly have a seat. Matter
of fact, coach, why is he even out here? Yeah, coach,
take him out. Which is a conversation that a lot
of the a lot of thoughts on playing quarterbacks at
all during the post complete preseason, there's some conversations about
that as well.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
All right, real quick, rob g did you did you
happen to find it at all?
Speaker 10 (34:55):
No?
Speaker 4 (34:55):
All right.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
So there was a question that was floating around on
the socials and somebody was like red carpet of an event,
and they had you know a handful of athletes there,
Brandon Jennings. You're talking with an assortment of like okay,
Ray Lewis, Brandon Jennings, Johnny Manziel and well Chuck Withdell
and so they're all there. And the question was simply,
(35:17):
it's five million dollars enough for the rest of your life?
Speaker 4 (35:22):
No?
Speaker 3 (35:23):
No, no, Well, now I know because you over here
spending eight hundred dollars in the hotel room.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Yeah, carries the wrong person asked that question.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
Well, you are a million for the rest of your life, Okay,
I mean obviously you can do if you invested it
well and did certain things.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Yes, there is a strategic.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Way to make man all his faces, you say, the
LIFESTYLI the hotels, I like the one with the fancy
robes that ain't doing nothing for me. Shoot, I gotta
I gotta finance my albums at the moment, Yes, Alex. Well,
I'm not gonna ask Alex. Yes, Alex, never mind, you
already know your answers. Yes, yes, Rob g.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
For you, No, no question is that My only incomer
is my wife working? Not No, five million dollars. I
don't know. I don't know what missus g does no,
but with two kids, no, it's not matter. No, Okay,
I'm shocked from you.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
You chewed my head off two three weeks ago when
I said, a million dollars really ain't that much?
Speaker 10 (36:21):
Uh uh?
Speaker 4 (36:22):
You know tuition is for children's children.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Yes, I know. And had a teacher today asked me,
so the little one's gonna go there next year too.
I said, hey, hey, hey it is. Don't me volunteering
a third child?
Speaker 4 (36:36):
Right?
Speaker 3 (36:37):
So wait, wait, wait, so five million dollars ain't enough,
But you've been telling me a million dollar acting like
a million dollars with they and.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
All be million dollars a lot of money. Get to
buy your house and you where and where is it
buying you a house? Not where you live?
Speaker 3 (36:48):
No, where is it buying you a nice house that
you would think like I'm a millionaire for one day,
even though only have it for the one day that
in Los Angeles.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
You get what I'm.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Saying, like where you want to live, you have a
beautiful wife, beautiful daughter.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
So for example, when we bought our houses is what
now nine years ago? We bought it eight years ago
and we only paid like four fifty four four hundred
something like that.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Now we just got evaluate it like eight forty. So
that's it's like, no house. Will you be buying your
own house? Yes, basically all the stuff that got to
work on. Yes.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
So that's what I'm trying to tell you. A million
dollars ain't much. Five million dollars you didn't have to
look Okay, No, I'm not set for life exactly. Okay,
how long are you set for that's a better question.
Good decade?
Speaker 4 (37:30):
You are not set for a decade with five million?
Set for a decade? No, you couldn't decade.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
First off, a decade, let me do the math. Old,
think about where your girls are going to school. No,
you're in California, So just first and fore I'm carry
gonna get you through the year.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
I can't get a decade with five million.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
Yeah, No in La. Now if you're in Alabama, it's
a different story. If I'm back in Detroit, it's a
different story. Oh boy, we're balling. Yeah, we're balling different
dang this time. So basically I can I can get
five I can get.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Dam I'm getting like three years with five million? Man,
you get about three years? Yes, get about three years?
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Yeah, like y'all are you're listening in other states?
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Enjoy that other state. Now listen exactly.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
You're heading towards the end, meaning it's about to get snowy, cold, windy, rainy,
and we do have the beauty of California. We do,
but dang it, you get taxed. We got that beast too,
We get taxed for that. The fact of five million
dollars that you couldn't laugh in life. If you're telling me,
I'm eighty three years old and I live in Louisiana.
(38:37):
Oh it's yes, yes, the age I am in the state,
I live with all the kids I got.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
No I'm gonna need that annually. Let me step my
game up.
