Speaker 2 (00:19):
Let's get this, punnies, you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Rob g Thiss been everybody's like, Christian McCaffrey's playing.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
He's not. He's out.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
He had got this calf strained. Everybody who drafted him
in their fantasy league he's like, no, here we go again.
But now it looks like he's still gonna play. Even
with me, he's questionable with that cave injury. But that's
the latest with him as far as playing this week.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Yeah, he's questionable. But if we're being honest, is not
looking good because he will now have been limited on
Thursday and out on Friday. Now it is possible, but historically,
if a player misses Friday, which is to be the
lightest day of the week, chances are he's not gonna
play barring something unforeseen, which means when the San Francisco

(01:07):
forty nine Ers kickoff on Sunday on the road in Seattle.
Brock Party will be taking the field without Christian McCaffrey,
without Brandon Ayuk, and of course Deebo Samuel has already
been traded.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Well.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
So if that's the case, cal Vils are with you.
Do you think that brock Perty should still win that
game minus the rest of the Avengers?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And I just paid you hundreds of millions of dollars as
to why you at that level that I'm paying you
is a forty three mili year whatever, my expectation is
for you to find ways to win a handful of games.
Just because you found a way to win them, now,
that doesn't mean that I expect you to officusely. You know, hey,
no matter who's there, he's still gonna win twelve games,
you know, missing a bunch of players.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
But absolutely, I believe you've been in the system. You're
not a new guy.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
You're not in that Sam Donald coming to the Seahawks,
still getting acclimated right, still going through a chaneing camp,
still finding his ways, getting rapport with the team, finding
the chemistry. You've been here, same ownership, down to GM,
down the head coach down to you. We've got a
nice run. Now you know the system, you know what
we do. We still got enough players, we still can
run the ball. We still got kittled, We still back.

(02:18):
He picked up a couple people offensively as well in
their draft, and even free agency picked the receiver. So
the expectation is for me go out here and find
a way to win this. And Sam Donalds is a
new situation. He shouldn't come out here and outplay you.
So absolutely, to me, I look at this as this
is why we pay you. We believe that you are
a difference maker, not that you're Patrick Mahomes, not that

(02:40):
you have to be Lamar Jackson, but that you can
win some games when things are advantageous, when things aren't
exactly how we want them to be. And he himself
acknowledged that understands that that he has to be better,
also acknowledged that he put a little too much on
his shoulders trying to prove and get back to the
super Bowl and putever you know, prove how great he was.
But my expectation is, do you still have to win

(03:01):
this game? If I'm colcann ain't. Come on, We got
enough talent out here. We got enough continuity, you can
win this game. I'm out on Brock party. I've seen
Brock Purdy without a loaded.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Roster and players, and he struggled, you know he did,
and when he got in there was a great system.
I know they paid him, they felt compelled, they had
no choice, but I do. I think the forty nine
ers are winning the Super Bowl with Rock Purty.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
No.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
I think their window of opportunity has coming gone.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
You know, they've already shed a lot of habitual windows shutter.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
It's done. I'm just saying like it because they don't
stay open that long. Like windows don't stay open, there's
an opening. That's why teams don't repeat.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
It's real hard for teams to repeat and do stuff
like that. It's just rough. It's hard to win. It's
hard to have everything together. You have a team, you
know what I mean, and it's working out or whatever,
and then the next year you lose somebody, or somebody
gets hurt or you can't pay pay them or something else.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
And it's just hard to put that together. And that's
why you can't blow opportunities when they are there. I'm
not that.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Excited about the forty nine ers or feel like they're
in the mix. Ifbout to take the top five teams
in NFC, the forty nine ers are on one of them. No,
they're not for me either, but they're not far off.
I mean, I think in their own division, I put
the Rams ahead of them. We obviously know.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Uh for me, the Lions, the Packers are right there
as well, the Bucks especially just because of the division area,
and they should be there. Commanders should be there as well,
So they're not far off.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
They're not.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I don't think they're far off the forty nine ers,
And again based off their contuity, just kind of having
their system and their way of winning. I don't expect
them to be bad. In fact, if they make the postseason,
I would not be shocked at all. And are they
making a postseason? Let me, I had literally have to,
I'd have to write out all the teams before.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Okay, because you have to let me you know.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Because that was just noncommittal that you wouldn't be shocked
because you didn't.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Because they try to cout the teams.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Now, I'm just saying I'm not putting you on the
right right but I'm just saying to say, I wouldn't
be shocked like that's that's why I don't look for
you to be able to say I told you that
they would make it, or I didn't tell you that
they were going.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
To looking at it just right now without riding the
teams down, I would have them making the postseason, Okay,
I would have them in. I think they would be
similar to what we and we're gonna talk about a
little bit later, the Cowboys in that. I don't think
they're gonna be maybe some people out on forty nine ers,
and I think some people we had to eat from here,
who would little I think a little too high on
the forty nine ers, So I think, to me, they

(05:34):
can ten games, get a wild car spot ten eleven, uh,
and then from there, once you ran, you're in.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
You never know what happens. But now back to you
a bit to a windows shutter.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
What actually I disagree with the windows shutting that you
do now with the forty nine ers.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
Just there are teams, didn't we just see McCaffrey can't
stay healthy. Now that's not but that's a part of
the forty nine ers. So why would I believe in
the forty nine ersn't thinking that.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
They're gonna want to have you got about eventually shutting them.
I'm talking about you saying the window is the window
closed with the Chiefs?

Speaker 3 (06:06):
The window, yeah? Or is still over with the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Well, I think they have more of a chance than
like the Lions is shut like shut.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
What I mean by the teams are shot, We've seen
teams have a very nice long window of opportunity, Like
the Seahawks had one for some time, the Steelers had
it for Ben Roethlisberger, the forty nine Ers have had
it with Jimmy g and then they had it with
now Rock Purty, and like, when you have a good coach,
a good quarterback and a good system, that window isn't

(06:37):
as closed as you're making it.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
To me, this is just me. I don't I don't
see it. I mean, we're not even gonna The Patriots
are such an anomaly. I'll even go that's an anomaly.
But the Chiefs to different fifteen.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Teams in the NFL that have no shot and don't
and haven't had a shot.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
To win in twenty years, I mean, what are you
telling me?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
You know?

Speaker 3 (06:53):
What I'm saying is when a team to me is
a ligned right.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
They got a good GM, they got connuity there, they
got a good coach's connuity, and they got their guys,
their quarterback. The window is open, especially when you don't
have a perennial It's not like the Warriors in the
NBA were for a handful of years.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
It was like just here, just give it to them.
Just gives you the Warriors.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I just there are a lot of teams that have
really no shot. The NFL comes down to the same,
roughly four or five teams that.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Right really as should be in that mix.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
But you're saying because because they've had two golden opportunities.
I'm not saying it just based off of their talent
or whatever. They should have gone to the Super Bowl
two years ago and blew out the forty nine in
the first half. They won fifteen games, a franchise record
at home field, were nine and a half point favorites

(07:43):
against a rookie quarterback and got blowed out in their
own buildings. So then you lose your two coordinators and
the quarterback who you thought was maybe gonna be be
different in Detroit is the same they got rid of
in l A.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
It was exposed.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Last year you saw the bad Jared golf when it
mattered most.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
But that that's not closing a windows. A couple of
years ago, Jared hurts the team looks bad.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Nobody nobody said that their window was closed because.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Their window wasn't.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
The difference is they went to the super Bowl. The
Lion didn't go okay, So it's a big difference.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
You had the lines in Philadelphia the same way, thirty
going to.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
The supermoine and a half, no going to the super Bowl.
And a franchise that's never been to the Super Bowl. Yes,
one half even that your entire window. Nobody's saying there
that you have one. It's not one because last year
they had everything laid out for them.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Tell me last year you didn't think they were going
to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Definitely the year before more just because they were healthier,
not riding it out last.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Year and a half point favorites they have won that
game point favorite. Wh's when they went to San Francisco.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
No, they kicked the forty nine ers ass in the
first half. Nobody expected that. Nobody but nobody. Is the
window close?

Speaker 1 (09:11):
There's so many I just told you the Matthew Stafford
with the with the Rams, they have good season that
they are, they makes the struggle that the window isn't closed.
If you asked me about the Cardinals, yeah, okay, then
they had windows closed, or the Panthers a jet. There's
teams to me that I don't see why they're winnings.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
But I'm telling you why. I'm telling you because the
Lions are taking a step backwards, which will open it
up for the for the Packers. It's because of the
Lions dropping down, the Packers are going to go ahead
of them. And here's my point. It's a couple of things.
It is the coach right who I don't believe in
Dan Gamble. It's the two coordinators who left. It's it's

(09:52):
uh the quarterback and Jared Goff who exposed himself and
showed you why the MS didn't want him despite him
leading them to a super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
It was because Matthew Stafford is No, that's not it.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
They the year the year they went to the Super Bowl,
they averaged thirty five points. It was one of the
fifth it was the fifth highest offenses. And then in
the NFL and.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
At that time, what second year ish Uh, Jared Goff
nobody's gonna take him over.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Matthew Stafford. You've got a chance to get Matthew Stafford.
I just don't.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
That's ridiculous game wins. Stafford didn't even win a playoff
game before he went to LA. Everybody knew Matthew Stafford's
more Town.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Nobody.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
He didn't win a playoff game, and Jered Golf went
to the fin and Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
I don't care Brad Johnson stopping Chary Dilferd went to
a super Bowl. He ain't more talented than than Madwick
talking about that.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
But there's one guy who I could at least say
at least Jared Goff won some big games in a
postseed and got you to the super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Now, he didn't do well in the super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
But this whole notion, if they believed that was just
a one off, there's no reason that they would have
traded a guy.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Because he was a second and third year guy. And
you got a Matthew Stafford, you've got a chance to
get him.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
What got?

Speaker 5 (11:04):
What? No do that They lost confidence in Jared Golf
because they didn't believe he could get them where they
wanted to. And that's what I'm saying, if you're a
Lions fan and you watched last year, that's the real
Jared Golf. That's the trade. That's the Jared Golf that
got traded. They don't believe he can win the big game.
That's what I'm telling you.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
The idea that a team is not making the postseason,
that was that the idea. The Chiefs ain't gonna do that.
And then the forty nine ers, the teams that have
had a nice.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Everybody's good, and everybody's going to make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
A handful of teams that are.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
You're all over, You're all over the math, your.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Agree all of a sudden out of it. I argue
with you some more on the other day.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Rob g what happened to Angel Reese?

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Because she said some stuff and she says, you were
taking out of contacts and the Chicago what's the name
of the team? Chicago got gott? Come on, you know
all the teams and I don't know, stop it. You
never missed a game, Rob exactly.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Hey Marjie, make sure that's uh the next time we
do like a game show or something, make all WNBA socker.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
That's next week talk and win for real.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
I call her Angel Green by the way, Draymond Green's sister.
The way she did these technicals, yes.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Bad enough.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
She got suspended for that, right she hit the threshold,
got suspended for the game on the seventh.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Is that the first woman in w NBA history for that?
Actually it might actually I think.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
This league been around for thirty years. Ain't no way
that anybody had that many technicals.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
But to your point, Rob, the Chicago Sky announced that
Angel Reese will be suspended for the first half of
their game coming up on Sunday against the Aces for
they're determining our statements detrimental to the team made by
injuries to the members of the media.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
And she suspended for the first what? What? What exactly
is that? And we see this in college football a lot.
Would they suspend you for the first half, suspend.

Speaker 8 (13:50):
Them for the entire game?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Make them feel it.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
It doesn't even make sense, the first half the entire game.
Make it a penalty. How in the first time? How
long is that a penalty? And I would say to myself,
they don't even have the blanks to suspend me for
a game, right, it's so bad again you let me
with jokes.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
It's so bad that they only suspended me for a
half a game. Man, It's just really bad, all right.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Here's the worst part about this too, is that if
this was something that was detrimental to the team, so
it's twenty minutes worth a detriment? Like is that only
twenty eight And I don't college? Okay, fine, he won't
do it for they're still youth sometimes seventeen, eighteen, nineteen
years okay, five, you can't tell a grown professional go
sit in the corner. That's essentially what it sounds like

(14:42):
to me. Go have a time out. Do you need
to go sit in the corner? Go angel, go in
the corner over there? I have just either don't do
it and say we spoke to her.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
We're upset, you know, but we work through this thing
where a team, we're gonna work through this as a
unit and we're gonna move forward.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
We'll be handled it internally.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Or are you suspended for a game I have would
have grown adult and professionals.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Is really weird And I'm gonna be honest, not having
to watch the first half of a w NBA game
is that a penalty?

Speaker 3 (15:07):
I'm just asking.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
I know she's playing, but I'm just saying, like she like,
it's different you out of the court to actually have.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
To sit there and watch.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
I mean that you're saying she might not ever do
anything wrong again, I'm just saying, she ain't gonna ever.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Do anything detrimental.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Girl.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
It was so hard. It was what you have to do, girl.
I had to watch the first NBA game. Oh that's torture.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
That again, that's what.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Are you saying, Rob? That's what a new Is that
what a new judge is gonna start doing.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yeah, so we're here to prosecute this person for speeding
and drunk drive. Well, you know what we're gonna do.
I was gonna give you sixty days in jail. I'm
gonna make you watch thirty w NBA game. Tie your
hands while your back, get a two pick in your eyes,
keep them over so you can't close them.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Is that what you're saying, Rob, Don't do that. There's
your penalty. Don't do that.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
The w n B A I didn't make it to
a game this year. I will admit they got twenty
six jobs. But it's a good experience.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Man. You should go to one.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Yes, President, in fact, let's do that. Let's change. Let's
change your bet instead.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Of wings and next No, no, no, not one currently because
with those are locked in. Our next bet, I want
it to be that you're gonna go to the w
NBA game and you're gonna sit in the front row,
or at least the first few rows. You gotta buy
the ticket the whole game, and you have to go
in and.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
You have to post on social media that you're there.
All seats so good, there's the bet. I gotta think
about that. Think about that. You have to go to
the game with a T shirt.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
No, I don't know. Now you got me, sir. You
have you ever seen Kelsey plumbing person?

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah, go see Kelsey Oh oh, I hope it's Kelsey
Plump too, because she goes. She probably you know, she's
been keeping on the sparks and she's been keeping note.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
I'm just asking. I'm not a w n B A person.
I'm happy that they have a league. I'm glad that.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
You What do you mean you people?

Speaker 5 (17:01):
I'm hoping you not a little something you can do
drivel a little ball.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Don't do that.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
I told you. I'm waiting for laundry night. That's the
night I want to go to the w You don't
do laundry. You just give it clothes away.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
You just give all your closer You know, people walking
around here with a Fox Sports radio hoodie. Alex in
the middle of in the middle of Houston, Texas. Alex,
why are you saying that it's sexist. I didn't say
who was doing the washing because it's laundry night. Did
I say that the woman if you make a sandwich day?
You know, I didn't say that. I did not say that.
I mean that would be interesting, right, you bring a

(17:40):
basket of laundry in.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
I didn't say that, but it would be interesting. Would
want it to be Kelsey pluck.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
You do. How about a hundred dollars night, you know,
like you get tickets one hundred dollars night sell out? Yeah,
people would show if you buy a ticket coming and
you get one hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
So they give it money right here?

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Wash this be sure to catch live editions of The
Odd Couple with Rob Parker and kelvin Washington weekdays at
seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Spit game happened, of course, Jalen Carter, we were alive
on the air when the game started Eagles Cowboys, and
the initial spit we kind of, oh wait what during
the Carter kicked out the game, We're like, what happened?
And then we start getting a little bit more context,
you know, context of what was happening. We get more
different camera angles, you start to see a little bit
more here a little bit more. Here's what Dak had
to say about what occurred.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
I probably spent a thousand times throughout the game, I mean,
especially game day, maybe even in general, and something I'm
I guess I'm not proud of. But in that case,
he was trolling. I guess you could say, trying to
mess with Tyler Booker. I was just looking at him.
I was right here by the two linemen, and I
guess I needed to spit and I wasn't gonna spind
on my linman, and I just spit ahead. But I
would say he was back there where Joey was in

(18:55):
that sense, and he asked, or he goes, you're trying
to spin on me, And at that point, I'm I mean,
I felt like like Mike, he was insulting me, like
I don't I wouldn't spin on somebody. I'm damn, you're
not trying to spin on you. Like we're about to
play a game.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
I don't buy it. I don't buy it.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Rob, you and I watching it live, you couldn't really
see because you know, it just happened, and we're like,
they're more focused on what happened for Jalen H.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Carter. Then we started to get more angles.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
You start to see kind of how Dak on the sideline,
hanging with his team kind of telling him, showing what happened.
And the more you look at it, look, Jalen Carter
was absolutely in the wrong. And we know this happens
all the time. It's always the second person that gets caught,
that gets in trouble. Right you watching the NBA game,
the person punching somebody, he turld right now, we punching me,
pushes him right front the ref ref. All I saw

(19:41):
was that he kicks him out the game. It happens
all the time. And when you saw there's review, you
see Dak, as he mentioned, he kind of spits toward him,
not a loogie or anything, but he's kind of spits.
And then I think Jalen Carter responded, if you spinning,
I'm spitting and a little smile in the wink that
Dak gave you saw that.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Rob. No, you're you're, you're, you're you're letting Jayalen No, no, no,
So he got he got kicked off.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
You could do. I completely agree.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
But what I'm saying is if Dak spit his way,
does that get suspended?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
I think they're gonna, look, you just said it his way.
He spit on Dak, he spit at him.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
I think I think they're gonna look at this and
I think they're gonna say, Dak spit his way.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
He responded, he got kicked out. We're gonna move forward.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
And that's what I think is gonna happen, because if
from the first angle we saw it look like he
just spin a looking what what just happened?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
That the more you see it, Dak spits his way.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Dak kind of smirks and smiles at him, and then
I think he responds. So I think the league is
gonna say, now that we looked at every angle, looked
at everything, we heard everything, he responded to being spit at,
and I think the league is gonna say, you know what,
move on football's back. He he missed the whole game,
and I think that's what's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
I disagree. I think they need to put the ky
bosh and let him know.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Come on, dude, that is the lowest of low to
spit at somebody, and there's no reason for it.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
The game. It because you just said it.

Speaker 5 (21:07):
You didn't you even said it, but you didn't you
said that he did he spit at him or his way.
There's a big difference.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
What you just said. And you don't know it looks like.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
And that's why he didn't get Dak didn't get thrown
out because that's not what.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
I don't think. We didn't see it for hours. That's different.
Angles that's not what happened.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
And and the bottom line is that's not your response,
Like like, that's your response, Like seriously, unless Dak walked
up to you and spit in your face, that that's
your response.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Come on, man, Jalen.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
Carter uh has had issues and other things and that's
the way he handled it.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
You got to let this guy know. This is not
what we're doing here.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
This is not you got a uniform on, you represent
the city, you represent an organization. I'm sorry, no, no,
this is not ECCE in the National.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Football And that's why he got kicked out the game.
And I think they're gonna review this and I think
they're gonna say he got kicked out the game. We
looked at every table looking at it. You see Dak
spit his way, kind of smirking smile like yeah, and
then he spits and I think they're gonna say we
didn't see this, then we can view this as Dak
instigated it, and that was his response, and the response

(22:22):
warranted being kicked out. That's the penalty. Move forward, Football's back.
Dak even said it. Nobody wants people to get kicked out.
You want your best players to be on the.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
No, he shouldn't have spit, he wouldn't have got kicked out.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
So okay, let's say, so you're reviewing this, Dak is
just exonerated if he spit his way and winked at
him and smiled at him.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
Yep, I just don't see what Dak did. Dak did
not spit directly at him. This guy walked up and
spit at Dak Prescott. You cannot have players doing that.
I just I'm agree with the latter portion, right, And
it wasn't off to the side or he walked up
to him and spit at him. But I'm that, but

(23:01):
I'm never going to be acceptable.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
But you even more even more of an issue with that.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
That's a total sign of disrespect that could have blown
up into something even bigger.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
But so I take a call from Jalen Carter and
we said, hey, we saw You know, if i'm the
league and the suspension, what happened? You know, Hey, we're
on the phone with you, what happened? W You're telling
your story and he's like, man, look him over there.
He talking back. I'm talking to Smack. And then I
thought he spent at me. And then they review the tape.
I think they go, you took it too far. That's
why we kicked you out.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
But I don't think.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
I think there there isn't a reaction to an action,
and I think if he tells him I he looked
like he spent at me and winked, and so I reacted,
I think I can see I see away where the
league goes.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Well, don't ever do that again. But I can understand
why you would do that.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Don't do that, But I can get why you did
that because the same way the average person feels, don't
spin at me, he felt he spinn at him. Once
you see it, and again, if you're in a bigger, man,
better world, you take it off. You slick at the ref.
You say he did this so you can play the game.
You don't hurt your team, you don't cost your team,
and you're a part of it. You can be a
part of the game.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
I think that sometimes you set the tone and let
everybody know that if you do this kind of behavior,
which I think is anti social and disrespectful kind of behavior,
we're not going to tolerate in the league. Not only
did you get thrown out now right, you're gonna get
it's gonna cost you money as well.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
That'll that'll put the kai bosh on that.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Even the idea if you could lose a game check
over spitting at somebody. You don't think that would send
a message to people. This is not what we do
in this league, and you can't do whatever you want.
There's gotta be some discipline and that's all. I just
think that that is the lowest off I agree with.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Have you got to fight?

Speaker 8 (24:50):
Right?

Speaker 5 (24:52):
If he pushed that right, what did you just do
seriously that I could accept that I could underst Dan spit.
One of you seen a place the last time? Was
it Roberto Alomar who split the up.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
The umpire?

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Remember that that was a big thing and it tarnished
the way that people looked at him after that.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
Rob g let me do it you a reverse and
bring you with wig.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Once we got all these angles and then we saw
Dak on the sideline kind of laughing and explaining what
he himself Dak did because if you, I don't know,
if you saw that video kind of shows Dak, yeah,
showing like looks I spit like this where you come
out on this.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Well, I disagree with you and that I don't think
that Jalen Carter is not or should not be suspended.
I think he's absolutely gonna get spend at least for
one game. Where I think that we have another conversation
to be had, is I really believe that uh Dak
Prescott is also in danger of getting suspended in this situation,

(25:56):
I can see both of them and once they watch
that video.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
To your point, he kind of not instigated. But are
you baiting? I think is a good word.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
I could see a situation where Dak comes out, at
a minimum getting a fine. That's not be but I
think it's it's more likely Dak gets suspended then Jalen
does not get suspended.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Okay, and that's fair, I understand it.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
I just felt like, once, to me, the everybody's initial
thing because all we saw was that, and once you
saw the whole thing and you put it in the
context and that's his reaction, right, that's his reaction to
being spit at, like, I can't tell you. I don't
know how, Rob g Rob parkerkevn One, I don't know
how we're gonna react to somebody spits at you and
winks at you. I don't know you might you spinning
me a back. And so I think I can see

(26:35):
a world where the NFL says, you know what, by
guns by guns? I get it now. I saw that.
I can understand why you thought that. Don't do it again.
Both of y'all two grown to be spinning at each other.
What a y'all doing?

Speaker 3 (26:43):
That's money?

Speaker 5 (26:44):
But but but I don't think that that's because if
Dak spit out him, he would have been tossed out.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
They didn't see it.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Yeah, So when you were saying they didn't see you,
sure they didn't see it, because how do you know
they didn't see it that?

Speaker 3 (26:56):
There's not how many officials were out there, nobody saw it.
I mean you they're coming up.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Is Jalen caught a intentionally spince agree with that? That
was no infans or bud like something came out of
his mind.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
And you know how people are this is like who
knew this? I guess it says spitgate, so we can
go there. Some people don't have to look through the
teeth and it shoots out that this is that like
a little and any kind of winks and like smiles.
It smiles that Jalen like, and Jalen just went and
I think clearly they see that and that's why he
got kicked out. But I just think, Dak, once you

(27:34):
viewed it more, I'm wondering if that's gonna give more
of a pass to Jalen, because again, he got kicked
out the whole game. It was literally he didn't play
a single snap. So I think that is the game
that they can say he was suspended for a game
because it was that whole game. He didn't get the
angel rees, he didn't get the you only gonna miss
the first half.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
He didn't get that
