Like he's spiked lead away, he's directing his YouTube. Don't
forget trash talking.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Tuesday's our number two, your chance to trash anyone anything
in the world of sports. Rob guh let's kick off
the show. The Bears first half, okay, look like they
might be rolling to a victory, and then the rains came.
Everything turned around and there it was the Minnesota Vikings,
who looked dead on arrival, come back in the game

(06:00):
and beat the Bears. And there's a lot of conversation
about Caleb, who started hot, got cold, scored a touchdown
late not enough, and of course there were other things
and factors in the game. Rob g it was a
mismash for the Bear.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
Yeah, I mean you set the table there yourself, Robert
need me.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I need you because you do it better than me.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
But you already said actually, I was gonna say that
was one of your babor better table set.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I don't set table for. I don't even know who
you are. Brought you down. That's gotta be r YouTube
scenes it they set it.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I didn't mean it like that, Alex I met I'm
the hottle a, I'm the hot take.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I'm not the setup racist.

Speaker 7 (06:46):
To your point, Rob, Kayleb Williams got off to a
scintilating start during our show.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
He started out ten for.

Speaker 7 (06:50):
Ten at thirteen or sixteen passing, it was all looking good.
They got to pick six there in the third quarter,
but after halftime it was all downhill for Caleb Williams.
He finished the second half eight of nineteen. He had
an NFL worst off target rate of twenty nine point
four percent in Week one, which means about thirty percent

(07:12):
of his passes were off target. Again, but he was
not the only problem. As you mentioned, Ben Johnson had
a series of blunders, most notably at the very end
of the game. They're trying to come back and make
something out of nothing there at the end, and rather
than order a kickoff either out of bounds into the
end zone for a touchback or even an on side kick,
he kicks it only about two three yards into the

(07:34):
end zone, and Kevin O'Connell, as smart as he is,
has his returner pause for a second burned just enough
time to advance past the two minute warning, then return
it out, which means that the Chicago Bears lost about
forty seconds.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
It's a huge play. By not doing that, it's a
huge play. And there we go.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Uh Caleb Williams good start, bad finish, just to see
day for me didn't play that well. But there were
other issues, including Santos their kicker. When I look at this,
Ben Johnson, a rookie head coach, you gotta make sure
that everybody understands this. You know, like the end of
the games, we see it over and over, you know,

(08:14):
where coaches get out coached or don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Clock management. How many times have we seen that?

Speaker 4 (08:21):
But the Santos one is the one that bothers me
even more because he really he botched it.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
There was two things.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
He missed a fifty yard field goal, right, and the
bad part is that would have given the Bears a
fourteen point lead instead. Remember with the miss, the Vikings
got the ball on a forty yard line, so it's
not just the mist of the three points. You're giving
them great field position, which of course they cashed in
and scored a touchdown six plays later. So and then

(08:51):
so there's three things there. Missfield goal. God's gonna miss
field goals. I'm not saying he's got to make everyone
fifty nowadays is very makeable, making what looks like could
be sixty five seventy with regularity.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
So he misses the fifty.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yard up bad and then uh, you know they get
the ball on the forty able to score a touchdown
changes the game like overnight. And then you gotta kick
the ball out of the end zone, right, you just
you can't can't be a return.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Forty seconds is a lot of time in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
It's the different you saw at the end of the
half where the Vikings were able to go and I
would they have twenty five seconds, twenty three seconds and
they got three points out of it. It's not it's
a lot of time. We saw the Ravens, am I right, Yeah,
there's a lot of time, that's like. And we saw
the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Bills with thirteen seconds
to go. Thirteen you think, oh, there's no, that's plenty

(09:50):
of time. So those forty seconds lost. So it was
a Bear's loss all over the board. I just can't
pin this on Caleb to he plays they better. Absolutely,
he started off great, you know, but it didn't play
well all the way through. But the kicking game, the
inexperienced head coach had a lot to do with.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
It as well.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah, it was a tail of two halts for two teams.
I'll start with the Bears because I think that's where
obviously this goes, because they were up. One of the
things that happened in real time, you and I were
sitting here. I said it on the air, and then
even that when we were chatting, was the Bears had
to get more points. I said it on the air.
I said, looks like they're dominating this first half. The
Vikings look dead. They couldn't move the ball. They had

(10:32):
fifty I think forty fifty yards and then you had
Kayler Williams already with a buck seventy and at that
point in time, they had like ten points, might even
been seven at the point in time, and so I said,
you gotta come away with more points less. You gotta
come away and that's not a field goal that needs
to be a touchdown or that punt needs to have
been a field goal.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
You gotta get points.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
They weren't able to do that, because then what happens
is you go into a second half and if you're
the Vikings, you say, well, shoot, we played horribly. We
played as bad as we could play. JJ McCarthy. He
looked bad defense. You're letting Caleb carve us up, and
yet we're still in this game. And that's the reason
why you wanted to take full advantage of that first
half if you're the Bears, and they didn't, and then

(11:09):
you get a completely reversal between quarterbacks and also coaches
as well. Caleb Williams. The issue with him was the
fact that he was so off target. Thirty percent of
his passes were off target. Thirty two quarterbacks started in
the NFL. He can't be last. You can't be last.
You can be twentieth, you can be fifteenth. You can't

(11:30):
be last. When it comes to your targets. How off
target he was, that's obviously gonna be an issue. He
has to handle the blitz more. Brian Flores was playing chess,
not checkers. Brian Flores said, all right, first half, let
you dincon dunk, let you get some nice passes.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
All right.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I think he was thirteen for fifteen.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
All right, cool second half chess match, and he blitzed
them on I believe it was forty four percent of
his passes. So he went from twenty nine percent getting
blitzed to forty four. And you see Caleb was rattled
and he couldn't handle it, and that was why he
had such a bad second half. Also, Ben Johnson, Ben
Johnson forgot he has multiple things to think about. You're

(12:08):
not just the offensive coordinator. You also the coach, says,
is overseeing the defense, the offense, the special teams. And
you can tell he's not used to the overarching yet.
Where Doue, you're the head coach, not just worried about
Kayler Williams, not just matty Kayler Williams for his bad pass,
not just mad because they didn't do.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
This, dude. We need to worry about.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Also, what we could game plan is defensively, what we're
gonna do with the special teams as you mentioned. So
overall I think they got it was two tales of
a half. Kevin O'Connell has now been a coach for
several years, head coach, comfortable, knew what he was doing,
knew he could get the best out of J. J.
McCarthy in the second half. Brian Floores, who has played
Ben Johnson plenty of times. Ben Johnson offensive coordinator for Lions.

(12:47):
Brian floor is over there of course with the.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Advice, but I think you've left out one part too.
The Bears were heavily penalized twelve penalties for one hundred.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
No, but you say that though I was getting to it,
I wrote it down.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
But you're not gonna win a game when you get
one hundred and twenty seven penalties, and that goes that's coaching.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's coaching, and that goes to I believe some of
the issues we saw in the off season with the
penalties you have. Ben Johnson was upset at the offense.
Remembery pulled them off completely, pulled the first stringers off
the field. One of the things he's mentioned, we got
to be better in timing. They had four false starts.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
But they also had holdings that stop drives and plays.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
But you can't have false starts. You can't have when
you're trying to produce points. And that's what to me.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
You can't have one hundred and twenty seven yards and penalties.
You're just not gonna win when you do that. And
especially it wasn't like they turned the ball over right like,
that's the other part.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
So there was a lot of sad You mentioned they
got seven points from the pick six.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
A lot of stuff that went on. Well, that's just
part of football. No, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
So you would want to take advantage of the fact
we got six the other team gave us six to seven.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
That's just a part of so game.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
The other thing, too, is shocking, is you're a Michigan
fan and you had no scouting report on JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
You thought he couldn't throw. You can change your mind.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
No, no, no, what the stand by what I said.
I was shocked they went to tenth. That's where all
I sit here myself. But but you said that you
didn't you know, he wasn't known as a passer. He
was known as a great game manager winner. The teams
won in first couple of his last couple of years,
they won a national championship. So we folks like myself
who saw ana was shocked tent.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
I saw people jump on him in the first half.
Because of that. There's some people who jump people.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah, they jumped on him. And I'm just saying to me,
and what did I say to you? I can't evaluate
him as a pastor because he didn't pass a lot
in college.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Right, That doesn't mean he can't pass.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
That's the offense that That's why.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
You know what I mean. And that's all I was
saying to you is I can't do that.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
I can't say he's not a pastor yet because I
just haven't seen enough body of work to say he's
a good pastor or not.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
My shock was that he went to tenth because he hadn't.
He didn't have to be. He won a national championship too.
But go overall, take point for me is I want
to see Caleb Williams make some things happen when it
matters because he didn't have to do it in college.
The team didn't win a bunch the year he won
the Heisman. They didn't win a bunch the second year US.
He was expected to do great things those two years

(15:15):
he was there. They did see the defense on that
and I did. I did, and I still want more
from Caleb Williams and I want a much better second
half from Kayler.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Let's go take a look at what abs, what they
gave up in that they had no defense his second year.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's okay, I need more out of you, Caleb.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
I'm just saying that team collapse defensively USC.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
But what I'm saying is for him to be the talent.
I haven't got the results individually. I got the Heisman,
but as a collective, I have not gotten the results
for all the hype and the talent that I've had
now for three years of Caleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Two at USC. One at it with the Bears.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
But shul Door did great because he didn't have offensive line.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
I'm sorry, where where where cause you?

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Because you made I didn't have anything Battle three eight
seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine
nine six sixty three sixty nine. Who deserves to share
the blame here for the Bears? Tobaccle last Night, Caleb Williams,
Ben Johnson or Cairo Santos the Kicker, Welcome to you

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Who's to blame? Is it the coaching?

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (18:23):
The kicker?

Speaker 6 (18:23):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
I can't believe you about the kicker and By the way, what.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Do you mean why the kickers look losing win games?
The other day you talked about you just talked about
something you just talked about when the Steelers won because
the guy kicked the sixty yard field goal.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
So does the kicker matter?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
No, I'm saying yes, Caleb looking, Caleb looking less than
Ben Johnson.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
I might get you some of that the kicker kick
on this thing. No, the kicker blewed again.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
I might give you to win in Chicago, in Texas,
you're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Just doesn't fit your narrative. What's up to the kicker?

Speaker 6 (18:56):
What's up? Guys?

Speaker 9 (18:57):
You hey doing well? I hope you had a great weekend.
The first first NFL weekend kicked off real nicely.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
And we got we got Aaron Judge.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Watch number three hundred and fifty nine just passed Yogi
Berra on the all time list for the Yankees h
number five.

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Congress that Aaron Judge the best player.

Speaker 6 (19:16):
In baseball by far h and.

Speaker 9 (19:18):
He it looks like to me, Aaron Glenn he had
a better weekend than all those guys, and Dan Campbell
and Ben Johnson, but they all all three took ls
but man, hey, one thing I do want to say,
it's a quarterback lead. I'm going to give JJ McCarthy
the most credit for that win last night, even though
the defense played phenomenally and Caleb Williams, he won't see
a better defense all year than that, and unfortunately got

(19:40):
to see him twice a year. But he looked Williams
looked like a dog on first year quarterback and I
don't like that. And he was doing something.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
So when he was ten for ten, that was when
he looked like a first year quarterback.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
The whole game.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
I'm asking, I'm just.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Asking more the first ten when he was ten for ten.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Just ask him, when he was ten for ten, you thought,
what did you think? You thought? You thought, oh, yeah, yeah,
he looks.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
How you start.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
No, no, no, that's not what I asked you.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
I just asked you, Dion, when he was ten for ten,
what did you say to yourself?

Speaker 9 (20:12):
I didn't say anything. I said he should be doing
what he should be doing. And he looked bad by
the end of the game. And that's what matters. We
don't we don't draft a quarterback to go ten for ten.
We draft him for the future.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
No, no, no, that's not what I'm but I'm asking you
that there's no way you thought that the same way,
the same way you didn't think JJ McCarthy was any
good when they got forty yards in the first three quarters.

Speaker 6 (20:34):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Nick in New York, you're on the yond couple of
Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Nick?

Speaker 10 (20:38):
Hey, how you guys doing. I called back weekend, like
you know, I was gonna propose to my girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
Yees?

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Oh yeah. Did she say yes, I'm very happy?

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Right?

Speaker 10 (20:46):
How to say that?

Speaker 5 (20:47):
She said?

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Yet she said no? Congrats brother, it was that awful.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
He said, no, brother, it was very nice.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
That's beautiful. You had three and a half years in right.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
Yeah, we have very good memory.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeah you got it.

Speaker 10 (21:02):
We're yeah, we're good. I put the blame on Caleb Williams.
I think he started off hot and it was the
adrenaline and you know, the crowd, and then once he
started to it's like paper down. He was missed it
like wide open receivers, not throwing it in their direction
to have them catch and run, and that really was
what cost him the game. I think I think it
was his errors on that end. All right, Thank you, Mack,

(21:23):
and listen, I appreciate.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
It, no doubt. Congratulation. I appreciate it. Squeezed and Michael
from Texas.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Real quick, Michael from Texas, you're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
What's up by going good, Michael, what's up?

Speaker 9 (21:34):
Yes, I saw that game, and I didn't have a
little more men doing the first half first half. But
I'm gonna tell you.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
This, Brian fold is up right after right out of
some of the better defensive coordinators.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
He went in at halftime and made adjustment.

Speaker 9 (21:47):
He said, Okay, this is what they do.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
All the good coaches make a job one hundred.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Whatever he was getting early, We're going to change this around.
We ain't gonna do that exactly.

Speaker 9 (21:57):
He played King Jos and the fiddle.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Damn that second half.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Yeah, no, appreciate the second half. Listen, Caleb looked like
a deer with his head in the headlights. I mean
that that second half. He was shook it and they
gotta fix that. He and Ben Johnson moving forward, if
they're gonna be happy with each other in a relationship,
because that's a relationship, I'm gonna be watching Ephram on
the way.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
We'll talk to him, thought Ephram, So.

Speaker 6 (22:23):
Never heard of.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
I'm not Ephra.

Speaker 1 (22:27):

Speaker 2 (23:21):
E, what's up man?

Speaker 6 (23:22):
What's having the brothers? Are y'all doing?

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Doing good man?

Speaker 6 (23:26):
Hey Rob?

Speaker 2 (23:29):
He said, hey Rob, oh my micro was off. Hey
how you doing?

Speaker 6 (23:33):
I'm good man. How was your vacation? Man?

Speaker 2 (23:36):
I don't have time for that. We got football season.
Let's go oh okay, we're running late.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
We're running late on time. We want to make sure.
What do we always say, you want to get your time?

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Here's your TI. There you go, all right, we'll reclaim
your time.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Look, we'll start with there's a bunch of obviously coming
off the first week of football, which was great to have,
so we as a munch of tough we can start with.
I'm gonna start with let's just start the most recent
last night tail two half from two different quarterbacks and
two different coaches. My takeaway was Kayler Williams was getting
the nice easy things that Brian floor has seemed to
have been giving up. Second half, Brian Flores makes adjustments,

(24:11):
Kayler Williams doesn't. Ben Johnson doesn't, and they get exposed,
especially when Flora started to blitz them like that, and
then J. J. McCarthy obviously got hot with Kevin O'Connell's offense.
There take away from Kayler Williams now a year and
a game in.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
Well, look, I love how he started the game. I
thought he was poised. I thought he missed some big throws.
I thought there were some opportunities on the checkdowns that
he took four plays down the field. That'll come. He
just doesn't trust himself with the ball. He just wanted
to really get the ball off, so he checked it
down a lot, which allowed him to go ten for

(24:47):
ten in a touchdown. There's a lot to learn there.
But you know, the spotlight for me was Brian Lawes.
He really said a trap. That was the old bait
and switch. You know, he didn't blitch at all that
whole first half. He let him get into a rhythm
and then he just unleashed the hounds on him and

(25:08):
he didn't know how to recover for him.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
He didn't know the coach didn't know how to make
an adjustment away.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
But they both were at a loss of words because
they had prepared like so they went in the halftime
and made adjustments that didn't include being blitzed like that.
And so shout out to the Minnesota Vikas and Brian
Flores for an excellent game plan.

Speaker 6 (25:32):
Man, excellent game plan.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Russell Wilson Will be the starting quarterback for the New
York Football Giants week two. People were already clamoring evaluation
of him week one.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
It wasn't good. Now he didn't get any help from
the offensive line, but it wasn't good.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
What we saw from.

Speaker 5 (25:49):
Jackson Dart in the preseason lends to the question of
when are they gonna let this young man play? Because
he's mobile, he can pass the ball. It was a
little spark to him what he played in the preseason,
and Russell just, you know, quite frankly, just looked old.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah, why did they just stay there for a second?
Why are they holding out? Why don't they say screw it,
let's just go with dark? Is it because the offensive
line that you mentioned isn't great. We don't want to
get our young guy hurt and lose his confidence, or
they got some hopeing Wilson, why not just say go ahead.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Their left tackle will be back in a couple of weeks,
so you probably don't want to send him out there,
especially against their opponents. If you look at their next
couple of games, those are really really tough opponents to
throw a young rookie out there with not a solidified
left tackle. Someone who's getting to hold it down and
you could turn the line the other way, So they're

(26:42):
just biting their time. So these pieces are in place
to help this young man.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Hey from salam Our Guests.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Of course you can follow him from salam on X
and then former NFL offensive line in Fox Sports Radio
Weekends as well, so many other storylines that happened as well.
Let's go to what you make of what we had
in the Let's go to the Packers and the Lions.
The Packers they obviously were young, good defense. Then they
get Michael Parsons, they got young receivers, and Jordan Love

(27:11):
obviously feeling like I got so the.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Proved this year?

Speaker 1 (27:13):
How good are they? What's their ceiling? What do you
expect any of them? And then the opposite question will
be was that an anomaly for the Lions or is
that a sign of things to come for you?

Speaker 2 (27:21):
What you believe?

Speaker 5 (27:21):
Well, well, the Packers, my biggest question is who is
Jordan Love Like? He's shown some flashes of being in
that upper tier of quarterbacks, but it hasn't been consistent
enough for me. So the jury was out for me.
The way he played opening week against Detroit and that
defense I was, I was like, man, now, if he

(27:42):
can play like that consistently this year, and and them
adding Michael Parsons on defense, you get the ceiling for them.
As you can see them representing the NFC in the
Super Bowl's where that's where.

Speaker 6 (27:56):
I see that team. That team was put together.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
They're young at receiver, the young, the offensive line was excellent.

Speaker 6 (28:03):
I mean, the sky's delivered.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
If that quarter, if Jordan Love is say healthy, and
stay on that trajectory, they're gonna be a problem.

Speaker 6 (28:11):
And on the flip side, you really understand.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
I just gave Brian Flores his props as a defensive coordinator.
You really looking at Detroit, you really understand the importance
of a good offensive defensive coordinator. It makes a huge difference.
And that's what they're missing in Detroit right now.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
You agree with the NFL on the Jalen Carter situation
basically saying that he was suspended one game because he
didn't play the opener, Well.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Yeah, he was. Essentially he was suspended that game. I mean,
I thought that was a bonehead move. But you know,
missing that game, checking missing that game, that makes sense.
The different team with him out there. I mean that's
so evident. So hopefully he's learned from this because they
need him. If they were trying to get back to

(28:59):
the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
What the heck when you look at the Bengals, what happened?
Was that just just a fluke? Because that again we've
talked about a Robin I yesterday seven yards and a
half with that offense that somebody you talk about time
you look at somebody like, boy, I ain't gonna fire
you today, but they'll never.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Do that again.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
Yeah, that that looks bad. That looked bad. As much
money as they have on that side of the ball,
they're gonna have to put up, you know, twenty eight
thirty points a game. That's what they're.

Speaker 6 (29:30):
Designed to do. Now.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
Shout out to Cleveland and that defense they really got
after him made it uncomfortable. And shame on that kicker
for Cleveland because he literally snatched that.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Game out of their hands. I thought Joe Flacco played well.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
I don't think any of the other quarterbacks on that
team would have would have performed like that and kept
that game that close.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
But Cincinnati they got some issues.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Man.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
They need to figure that out because that's their strong suit.
For nineteen points that's not gonna get it done for
him this year.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
How did Shador doing that game? Oh well, he didn't play.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
I'm sorry, No, no, no, he didn't play. He didn't play.
He expected to play.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
I don't, I don't. I thought you thought he was
the best quarterback in camp.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
No, no, no, I didn't say that. I said.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
What I know for a fact is Joe Flacco is
going to start the season and the second string job
is up to those two young draft picks. That's what
I said, all right. I said nothing about him starting,
especially as brutal as their schedule was coming out. I
mean they played Baltimore, NA. That's that's not what you want,
you know, you don't want. You don't want him to

(30:37):
run up into a bus salt like that, either one
of those rookie quarterbacks. So Joe Flacco is the guy
until he's.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Not last one for me.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Uh, Pittsburgh and the Jets, you walked away saying good
game from Aaron Rodgers, good game from Justin Fields and
the Jets.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Where did you walk away from?

Speaker 5 (30:55):
I walked away saying that was a great game. You know,
that was a that was, in my opinion, I was
the best game of the day until our Sunday night game.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
It just was, you know, two.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
Teams that you're not used to going up and down
the field scoring like that. I thought it was very entertaining.
I was very pleased with Aaron Rodgers and his command
of the offense. But on the flip side of that,
I was extremely pleased with Justin Fields and how he
managed that and it went blow for blow with one
of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play. So I think

(31:28):
both of those teams are going to surprise and shock
a lot of.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
People moving forward. Now.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Defensively, they're gonna have to get it together on both sides,
but as far as offensive firepower, I was very entertained
and highly pleased.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Yeah, those are two teams. You know, on paper, you
would think defensively were going to be better. They put
on an offensive show and didn't expect that.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
All right. He appreciate you man as always.

Speaker 5 (31:49):
Hey man, I appreciate you brothers man.

Speaker 6 (31:51):
Love y'all man.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Pressly you Rob, he said, he said he loved y'all.

Speaker 6 (31:56):
Love You heard him, Okay, I love rod And.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
I know I don't know if he heard, you know,
just just relaying messages my mic and have phones going on.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Okay, thank you, oh okay you man?

Speaker 1 (32:09):

We come two, Shekel City the whole base for Rob
Parkers day Dicks against the spread.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
How you do? We'll tell me. You restarted well one
and two.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
I'm now four and five here on the early start
of the season. Let's go, who messed you up? We
got a little baseball while the Bears in I had
the Bears as my best bet. I had Milwaukee. They
lost in that game, but I had the Braids plus
one and a half and they won easily. Over the
Chicago Cups. So here we go tonight. Yankees best bet

(33:40):
minus one and a half. They're taking on the Tigers
in the Bronx, and I think it's one nothing, one nothing.
Judge in his three hundred and fifty ninth career, got
to relax. Yes, I also have the Brewers minus one
and a half. They lost last night. I think they'll
bounce back. And I got the Padres who had to
walk off against the Reds. Uh Fernando tattoos. You remember

(34:04):
I had a man crush on him when he first
broke into baseball.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Aaron Judge snatched that. No, no, no, Judge was like
come here, boo. You was like, yes, he wasn't here,
that he wasn't here yet. You remember that Christ used
to give me a hard time about I give you
a hard time because it's Aaron Judge.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
You see how whatever.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
We were in the middle of some great football talk,
Aaron jo just three hundred and fifty nine turned around
like you ain't move that fast.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
It's the rat in New Orleans? Is the man retired? Alex?

Speaker 4 (34:33):
I want you to say San Diego Padres minus one
and a half taking on the.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Reds in San diego. All right.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Remember, I don't know what am I going to say. Remember,
I'm not telling you who the bet on. I'm telling
you I thought Aaron by the way he was acting.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
All right, Roger, that's a good one. This is a
good one for Rob Tattoos Junior. I know he's Afro Latinot, he's.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Latin, Afro Latino. That's the real thing. He's Latin. What
do you mean, Afro Latina. That's a real thing, Rob,
What do you mean, Rob? You Afro Latino?

Speaker 1 (35:05):
No, he's not. The boats brought some Africans down. Some
of them went past what we call America. It went
on down to some of the little islands down there.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Don't tell me. I gonna give you a history lesson.
Does he speak Spanish? Yes?

Speaker 4 (35:21):
His culture, right, is what his blood? No, I'm asking
you as culture. Everybody's mix. I get that was supposedly
started with Adam and Eva and why don't we all
together we all mix?

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Okay, millennials ago, the point is, well, Adam and Eve,
are we with that or with the you.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Really go Afro? Because they said, okay, well we already
know where the whole point was. Was gonna say what
if him or Aaron Judge said they were going to
invest the MLB BRO, which one would you run to?

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Go? No?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
No, no, Tatis is not covered on MLB BRO. I know,
but he's Afro Latino. What do you mean? Why not
stop it? Rob? Isn't it black and brown? Major leaguers?
Brown is? Wow?

Speaker 1 (36:02):
That's what I be talking about. I can't keep I'm
trying to throw you out. I'm trying to just say,
which one you want to.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Denying? The man is Afro Latin on this?

Speaker 7 (36:11):
Okay, you're covering Sammy Sosa, which one exactly any of them?

Speaker 5 (36:20):
No?

Speaker 2 (36:21):
So, now Sammy ain't black enough that you're covering Tiger Woods. Well, Tiger, yes,
his dad is black, was black, but he I don't care.
But that's I'm just saying that.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
The the way we cover the player, it's just like, okay,
can I say this MLB BRO is no different from
the fifty Japanese reporters who cover who here in the
United States when they cover the Do they cover the
Dodgers and Mookie Bets?

Speaker 2 (36:49):
No they do not. They cover who. Oh we know that.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Okay, that's all just like just like that that ESPN
and Fox Sports deportes.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
Are they covering black plays? Yes, they don't do it
in Spanish. They do, they don't not.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yes, that one I was with you the first time
you have with you on that gotta be speaking.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
That's just the Spanish. If you don't speak Spanish, they
don't interview you. I bet they just write the story.
They show the highlights and Spanish.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
But I'm talking about the players that they interview that round,
they interview American black players on they don't spake Spanish.

Speaker 7 (37:26):
It doesn't appeal to the audience, but they still can't
talk about what they did.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Say that you can't talk about what they did, but
you don't. They don't cover playing the day. Can we
talk about the play to day?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
I was trying to give you a cute little uh
tattis and Aaron judge.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
It is a run pass option.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
McCarthy takes off to the right.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
The stunner step sick for five.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Peace J. J.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
McCarthy and he runs for a Vikings touchdown.

Speaker 1 (37:56):

(38:20):
for me. Jalen Carter suspension. We talked about it. I
thought that because he didn't play a single play that
I just thought they would say, well, I shoot, that's
a whole game. That's not what you said. You can
say that, now stop it. You said he shouldn't be suspended.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
The league is saying that's that's the best.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Get the tape.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
That's exactly what I said. You said he didn't. I
said he didn't play a single down. Essentially, that's a game.
No suspend.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Spend that night. Yeah, I said they want to count
that as a game. You did not. I literally said that. Oh,
I can't wait till we get the tape. Oh, I
can't wait.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Elijah during the Eliza, you don't have time forever. Not
he you don't want to get time for, but he
getting to a Elijah. Can you get that tape? Elijah,
get the tape for the boy. I'm you're gonna count that.
I'm gonna count that he's got a game. And its
like I said, don't.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Be mad, you're wrong.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
I said, they're gonna do it. That's been his way.
They cut him some slack. They counted as a game.
