Speaker 4 (05:36):
Yeah that man? You know a few weeks in, well,
you know, I want, I don't need that. I want.
Speaker 3 (05:40):

Speaker 4 (05:45):

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Most people on three four marriage Now, I know, God
one isn't guaranteed anymore.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
You've ever been to a wedding. Let me hurry up
for Rob gets mad.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
You're already too late. I'll save it for the next break.
Never mind, Rob gonna get mad. And Elijah, of course,
is a social media Google with it, Elijah, you never
heard right there?
Speaker 4 (06:03):
All right, Dian come with it.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
For over forty years, tire Rak has been helping customers
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Ship fast and free back by free road as a
protection with convenient installation options and mobile tire installation. That's right,
they'll come to you tire rec dot com the way
tire buying U should be. And uh, rob g let's
(06:26):
jump in. We already know JJ McCarthy got hurt for
the vikings and now Carson Wentz will start in his stead.
But uh, long term, because you're gonna miss a number
of weeks.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
It's not just this week.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
Yeah, well, first off, up to five starters could be
out in week three. Joe Burrow we already know, is out.
J McCarthy starting QBS, Yes, starting QB once, brock Perty
to be determined, Justin Fields out, Jade and Daniels to
be determined. But based on the early leanings, it's looking
like all five of those guys will be out. But
you mentioned J McCarthy, ESPN NFL insiders, Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Do great work.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
They published their weekly buzzes them for like a million years.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
Publish their Weekly Buzz column earlier on Wednesday, and in
it they talked about JJ McCarthy on what's going on
with Minnesota. In it, they floated the idea about, Hey,
what happens if Carson Wentz is good. Right, What if
he's good and JJ's he's hurt more than we think,
or wait, we'll just send him out. So here's what
Graziano said in the piece quote. I think the team
(07:26):
really believes he's at the stage of his development talking
about JJ where he needs to play, and I would
expect him to get the job back once he's healthy.
But if Carson Wentz has them humming, it'd be worth
wondering whether or not they would stick with him. Talking
about Wentz moving forward to.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Me, this is a pretty simple cut and draw.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
And if Wentz is playing outrageous and they're winning and
they got a street going, then Carson Wentz will stayed
the quarterback for now and you'll bring along JJ McCarthy,
who's a young coure back.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
You got time, You're not gonna win. How many games
could he miss?
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Rob Gi? Right now?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
The lean is three to four, Okay, So so Carson
Wentz lights it up for four games, they win all four,
they're feeling good, they're rolling.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
There's a chance that you're gonna stick.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
With a guy like that who almost won an MVP,
had really some good times in the NFL and all
that and lost his job because he got hurt, right basically,
and then when he got healthy, he got it back.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
So that's not to say that they're moving off of
or Carson Wentz is the long term.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
If it's just two and two and average playing, JJ's ready,
he'll go back in the only way that to me, Wentz,
you know, Wennsylvania Wentz in a lifetime or something of that,
ILK would continue is if it's lights out, four and
oh twelve touchdowns, no picks. You know, you don't pull
(08:54):
that guy out if somebody's playing well. But if it's
just standard regular, you know, two and two five, he
doing all right, then as soon as your starter's back,
I'm ready you put him in.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
We are in the JJ McCarthy experiment at this point.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
To your point, Carson Wentz would have to be playing
at a Lamar Jackson level. Bites out where they would go,
all right, this is incredible. Nobody saw this coming. Let's
roll the dice and see where it takes us. See
if we can pull something like the Philadelphia Eagles did
with Nick Foles. Right, See if we can pull something
like that off, which I don't expect to happen. I
expect to be fine. He's a good backup in the
sense that he's been in the league.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
He can win your game or two, or at least
not look horrible, keep you in some games, especially with
a defense like that.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
So that's what I expect from him. But they're in
the JJ McCarthy business. They traded to get the tenth pick,
They moved up to get him tenth pick. And you know,
I go back to again watching probably ninety percent of
his snaps at Michigan and thinking he was perfectly fine
and everything, but not thinking I think it would be
a you know, a late first, early second and even
maybe your third round pick, because he didn't do a
(09:54):
lot and when you look at a couple of things, Rob,
this is why again I scratched my head with JJ.
So one of the the things that I think we're
seeing right now is JJ McCarthy didn't look great or
have huge games per se regularly against great teams in college,
and some of it was just opportunity. He wasn't asked
to do that, so he didn't really have to play
(10:15):
out of his mind versus Penn State, versus Wisconsin, versus
Ohio State, so on and so forth.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
He had to just make a player two.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Lean on that defense, lean on the run one, and
he did any wan to the tune of twenty seven
and one as a starter. But what made the pick
interesting is when you look at rob the production or
lack thereof for JJ McCarthy. So you look at some
of the other guys that you know recently have been
drafted around him, whether it be guys who drafted ahead
of him in that same draft. Jaden Daniels is somebody
(10:42):
who you might look at. Well, he was putting up
around three hundred and fifty seven yards per game and
three touchdowns a game, right cam Ward three fifty nine three.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Touchdowns of defense though, But it's what I'm saying, well
hearing me out.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
So all I'm saying is you got JJ McCarthy only
putting up about twenty two hundred twenty yards a game
in less than two touchdowns a game. So what I'm
saying is he didn't have that production to then automatically
carry over to the NFL. So him losing a year
not playing because he was injured, this is what this
is to me. He's in that rookie growing through the
growing pains.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
But I think anything that has to do with the
stats from college, and I'm just saying, because of the
type of offense he was then, those guys weren't in
that route.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Those guys weren't in it. I know you watched, but
but you couldn't even make a judgment.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Making crazy throws like but you couldn't even like even
when I asked you, could you watch.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
That's your team. You grew up in that area.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
You really couldn't give a real assessment of him because
you didn't watch him throw the ball that often. So
after the second half and he lit it up and
had three touchdowns, whatever, people's tune changed a little bit.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Would you admit that.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
I think back to the original point of why they
got him twenty seven to one, a winner more so
pure talent.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Yeah, but budd he threw two touchdowns. Okay, So so
I'm just saying people, Oh, wait a minute.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
You know people trashed him in the first half, Oh
he can't play, and were ready to dismiss him.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
Oh I don't.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
They made a mistake. That's how quick it was. And
all I'm saying is, I don't blame his college numbers
on him. It wasn't like he passed the ball a
million times. And had two hundred and twenty yards. They
were a running team, that's what they did. And I
think he made the throws and made you know what
he needed to do without eye popping numbers. And I
(12:27):
just believe to me that this is more about They
wouldn't have made the move if they really didn't believe
that they can do something with him and get what
they need out of him.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
They run the football, they have a good defense, they.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Right receivers, and they're just saying to themselves, don't make
the big mistake.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
And do we want you to do similar to what
you were able to do at Michigan. This is what
makes it weird, though, Ron, that they got him at
tenth twenty eighth. Cool okay, but they might have thought
he was.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Oh Lamar Jackson thirty second or something makes sense, Okay,
cool guy, a winter national champion.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
I get it, But man, he went so at the
tenth spot.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
And also, to me, going back to what we said,
you could have franchised Sam Darnold, had him for another
year running back.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
See what happened, and then I get it.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Damn got Aaron Rodgers and say hey, with another year
Tutelitch one more year for JJ to learn up under this.
They had other options. That's why I know they're in
the JJ McCarthy business. I don't care if Carson wins
looks really good. He has to look like the return
of Joe Montana for them to get out of the
J J McCarthy.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Four and oh and he has twelve touchdowns and no picks.
They're not going that's insane. But like what you're asking
is insane.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Right, But they're not gonna put JJ McCarthy real quick.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
I'm gona throw these numbers.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Aside from that one quarter where he looked spectacular, right
we talked about, he's six for eight, two touchdowns in
a rushing touchdown. The other seven quarters, he has two
hundred and thirteen yards total, almost only barely fifty percent completion,
zero touchdowns, three interceptions, a fumble. His QBR is twenty
point four, twenty point four, not his age twenty point four,
(14:06):
which has him thirty second of thirty three qualified quarterbacks.
So he's got a lot of learning to do and
it's gonna be brutal. He still has games versus the Packers.
He still has two games versus them versus the Lions.
He's got and then arrested their schedule, so he's got
a it's gonna be a tough season.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Tough go for him, all right, eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty
three sixty nine. If Carson Wentz plays well the next
few weeks, should the Vikings still give the job back

Everybody Detroit to be buying, all right, mister Allen's over here,
mister Allen, then take it back?
Speaker 8 (17:24):
All right?
Speaker 1 (17:24):
With that being said, take the phone calls Vikings. How
they're handling how the I guess you could say the
start of J. J. McCarthy's career. What are your thoughts
on it? And do you believe he's in he's the
guy for them? Or if Carson Wentz comes in the
balls do they keep rolling him? Eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox? Who we got Wennsylvania? Who is that
Casey in Oregon? Se Casey at the bat? You're on
(17:45):
your hot couple of Fox Sports Radio?
Speaker 4 (17:47):
What's up? Casey?
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (17:49):
What's up? Guys? That's showing that first one?
Speaker 5 (17:51):
Have the anniversary man, Thank you too, son Man.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
We appreciate that. Thank you.
Speaker 9 (17:58):
So we find the Viking here, what I do they
have the roster I think to make it to the
NFC Championship Game, but not with Carson Wentz or J. J.
McCarty as her quarterback. I'd go give Cousins another fan
or maybe call the Giants about Jason went Jameson Winston.
(18:19):
Brian Floyd's great because the coordinator got a great roster.
Speaker 8 (18:22):
Thanks for the call.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
Yeah, you know to his last point, we talk about
the Lions and some coordinators.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Brian Flores, I mean, I know he's got some some
beats with the NFL and some controversies and.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
Some he ain't in the head coaching job. I'm gonna
tell you that, man, not under this.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I'm that serious.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
I'd be stunned if an owner hired him as a
head coach. So he's just gonna be an amazing coordinator
for the rest of his life. That's That's just that's
where I feel right right now. Doesn't mean that if
he's settled or just some sort of you know, conclude.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Somebody's gonna take the well, not right now. We'll give
him a few more years. Somebody's go somebody's gonna be like,
you know what, We're gonna give him a chance.
Speaker 5 (19:03):
Nate in Ohio, you're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
What's up, Nate's how are you you?
Speaker 8 (19:11):
I'm good, See I'm an Ohio State fan.
Speaker 9 (19:14):
So anything that that JJ McCarthy does is you know,
I hope.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
It's a negative.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Hey hey, hey, hey, hey, I hear you.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
It gets back at their national title.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
They they what you're gonna take it away from? They won.
Speaker 8 (19:33):
One state one too.
Speaker 9 (19:36):
And what does it say if Carson Wentz comes in
against a crappy Cincinnati defense, are they gonna be s O.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
L same old lions. Hang on?
Speaker 6 (19:49):
Whoa Nate, Nate, hang on A question for you. You
say you want all the bad things in life to
happen to JJ and nobody else. Right, So what would
be a bigger punishment for JJ? To make him play
because he's been terrible, or to let it make him
sit behind Carson Wentz?
Speaker 8 (20:03):
Carson Wentz, and that's more.
Speaker 6 (20:04):
Insulting than playing and throwing one touchdown in four picks
every week?
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
It is.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Just because you know Carson Wentz.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
We never forgot he was in the league, and Nate,
you at least want to be out there where I
have a shot. Maybe I can fourth quarter this thing again,
just to be sitting behind Carson Wentz.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Remember that one fourth quarter? Remember that one time you
hanging on it was great? Yeah. No, you don't want
to be holding a digital clipboard and stuff. No, no,
you don't want to be doing that. All right.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
We got Tim Kates is going to join us host
of Dodgers on days Yeah, on AM five seventy LA

the Dodgers when you came back in the room. You

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Right, We'll have nothing but pleasantries to say. Table keep
it real. Well, he'll keep it real, okay, Martin White, Well,
what's trending? What's up? Martin?

Deck on a five seventy LA Sports Tim Kates on X.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
What's up? Tim? How you doing?
Speaker 9 (21:28):
Man?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Hell?
Speaker 10 (21:29):
Yo, I'm doing great, guys.
Speaker 8 (21:31):
Hope you get hearing me.
Speaker 10 (21:32):
I'm here at a casino in southern California. I heard
Rob Parker say, put all the money on the Dodgers
to win the World Series. So I'm here putting the mortgage.
I'm putting the kids saving.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Don't do it.
Speaker 10 (21:42):
I'm putting it all on the Dodgers right now, please, sir.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Put it all the Oh my god, dude, yeah, don't
do it. What is happening with these Dodgers? My tim
my god. It's been some ugly games of late.
Speaker 10 (21:56):
Oh it has been It's been the bullpen. Thanks, thanks, please.
It hasn't been the off or the starting pitching. It's
been the bullpen, which I think could get fixed by
the time we get to October, which is only two
weeks away, less than that now. But you know, two
weeks ago, guys, that was where's Mookie? Where's Freddy? It
was Otani gonna be able to hit anything besides home runs,
will strikeout, and that was the problem. Oh, where's the
(22:18):
starting pitching? At everybody's hurt. In the middle of July
and August, Well, the pitching is back. As far as
starting pitching, the offense is there, it's the bullpen. And
the good thing is when you get to October, and
you guys know this, when these games really counted October,
you're not gonna see Otani come out after five innings.
I don't think you're definitely not going to see the
Blake Smells and Powler Glass now come out after seven
(22:38):
innings of no hit ball like we saw Blake Smell
did a week ago at Dodger Stadium. These guys are
going to be told to empty the tank and give
it every ding. You got to go out there to
lessen the pullpit.
Speaker 8 (22:48):
How about pitch? A year ago they had zero starting pitching.
Speaker 10 (22:52):
And I was on with you guys that Rob you
kept pick.
Speaker 8 (22:54):
The no starting pitching. They can't get the bonus Buba, myke.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
Yank, well not my Yankees. I never said that far. Now, Tim,
that's true, Timon.
Speaker 10 (23:06):
They were led on the bullpen last year and now
it's reverse.
Speaker 8 (23:09):
They need to start.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Tim, Tim, I get it, and it sounds good, and
I know you do the Dodgers flagship and all that,
but you can't tell me you're as confident as you
were a year ago that they're gonna win the World
Series and everything's gonna be clicked right back in the place.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
This team has been down for a long time.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Remember they started eight to no and they thought they
were gonna be the Beatles. And they wind up being
Boy Georgian Culture Club for the most part this year.
Let's just be honest. This is not right now, put
the ways put together. I don't feel good about the
Dodgers going into the postseason. There's ten days ago, twelve
days ago. They could be in a wild card series, right,
(23:48):
and they could get knocked out.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
That's just fat they could have that could happen.
Speaker 10 (23:52):
Well, first off, I love the culture Club, boy Joey,
thank you, thank you. That's a reference everybody gets right now.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Don't worry Tom, I'll give him something from at least
ninety five.
Speaker 10 (24:04):
God, you're right though, Rob, I mean, this is a
team that if you would have told me, look at
this roster, look at this payroll, look at what they're
gonna do in October. Yeah, they're gonna have to play
in a wildcard series. I would have told you you
were crazy.
Speaker 8 (24:17):
Right here, here we are.
Speaker 10 (24:18):
They're gonna have to play in a three game home
wild card series, probably against who's a Mets. That's what
it's looking like.
Speaker 8 (24:25):
Mets. Don't look now, after losing eight in a row,
they've won two in a row going into this game against.
Speaker 10 (24:30):
The Padres tonight. The last thing you want is a
hot Mets team in a three game series coming to
Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
He is Tim Kate's host of the Dodgers on Deck
on a five seventy LA Sports on with the Cup
of rob and Kelvin on a worship Wednesday. So I
stay there for a little bit right now. I mean,
one of the things that's been disturbing.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
I was doing pre and post last week, and one
of the things that we were saying was Tanner Scott,
you know they don't have a closer, and then you
also have a try. You know, they don't just they're
not sounding like I just had a bad outing. They're
sounding like life is giving them hard. Say Tennis, guys,
that having the worst year of my life, not season.
What's going on where this seems to be mental, not
(25:08):
just like a bad outing for it? You know a
couple of times this seems like something almost entrenched in them.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Right now.
Speaker 10 (25:13):
Yeah, I mean you mentioned a worship Wednesday. We need
to start praying for Blake trying as this bullpen because
Blake tried them last night.
Speaker 8 (25:19):
I felt so bad for it.
Speaker 10 (25:20):
I give them credit, guys, all these Dodger relievers, if
they give it up. They will talk to the media
after the game. They're not going to hide in the
clubout and avoid the media. Last night, Blake trying it.
Who was the one that gave it up late in
the game with that home run in the ninth innings.
He's stoodent for the locker and you can see it
in his eyes.
Speaker 9 (25:36):
He is lost.
Speaker 10 (25:37):
He has no words to describe what is happening.
Speaker 8 (25:40):
You know, they're trying to figure it out.
Speaker 10 (25:42):
They've got the analytics department, they got the coaching staff,
they got the nine thousand cameras that are trying to
break down every single second of his pitching mechanics and
all the guys out of the bullpen mechanics. So they're
trying to figure it out. It's not like they aren't.
But for whatever reason, the baseball gods, I don't know
what it is. This is a bullpen just cannot throw strikes,
and when they do, they're getting hitt around the ballpark.
Speaker 8 (26:04):
It's vit.
Speaker 10 (26:05):
Not just the Phillies, guys. It was by the Orioles, Yeah,
by the Rockies. It was by the Pirates before that.
Everybody's getting to them.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah, and Tim, I mean I heard one of the
guys here, Patrick, who's a big Dodger fan, saying, uh,
if they don't win, I'm okay with it because they
won last year and I kind of feel good about it.
But I think that like fans can say that, but
that's not realistic because the moves they made in the offseason,
(26:33):
they made a championship team even better and there were
expectations and anybody thinks that the Dodgers would be cool
with not winning the World Series, especially since nobody's won
back to back tim since the Yankees in ninety nine
and two thousand, twenty five years ago.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
This team is supposed to win back to back.
Speaker 8 (26:54):
Yeah, yeah, they're supposed to.
Speaker 10 (26:55):
And you could have told me earlier this season what's
going on, and I would have said it's injury. He's
starting pitching a problem. This is a Dodger team that
just can't fight his stride offensively. Sometimes they look like
they were lost. And I thought Adrian Gonzalez, your buddy Kelvin,
who was wrong with I think last week's set it
best when he came on the radio on a five
to seventy and he said, guys got to have better
at bat and this is the time of the year.
(27:16):
We got to put away the ego. You got to
put away the numbers and stop warning about am I
going to get to this number?
Speaker 8 (27:21):
Am I gonna get this number?
Speaker 10 (27:22):
At bat? Where am I at it for my slug
and all that. No, it's all about team at Bett
and for a series or two, we felt like we
saw this was a team saying, okay, but everything behind us,
and let's go out and start winning games. And they did,
and they rattled off some wins. But the last two
nights have been eye opening with the bullpen. You're right,
(27:42):
You're right, Rob, this is a team that had to
win a world championship. They spent in the offseason the
most money in the bullpen. They signed seventy two million
dollars for four years to bring in Tanner Scott and
he is absolutely imploded on the Mount. Kirby Yates looked
like his best days are behind him out there on
the Mount. He signed to one year deal. They made
all their moves in the off season. Everybody thought, wow,
(28:03):
they won the off season. They won the annual San
Diego Padres.
Speaker 8 (28:06):
We won the off season with all of our moves.
Awards they took it from them.
Speaker 10 (28:10):
But now the Padres are a team that's trying to
figure it out, and certainly the Dodgers, the moves they
made should be and it absolutely should be a World
Series team this year. I'm quite frankly, I'm worried. Yeah,
wildcard round scares me. And forget that if they get
past the wallcar round, guys, you get to the DS
and you, guys went the Phillies lining up for you
and they got whole field advantage.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
And the other team that has their numbers.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Both the Phillies have their number and the rules.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Me and you have talked about my right the Brules
for whatever reason this year, guy's scared of them.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Yeah, yeah, Hey, hey, real quick, tim one more for me,
just show hey, just man, Now, what he's doing has
been remarkable. We've already been saying that for years, but
now even more so. Fifty ks, you look great and
a lot of people were mad at Dave Roberts were
pulling them out.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
That's the story, Robin.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
I will get into a little bit later on in
the show, but just your thoughts of show Hayes perform
the season.
Speaker 10 (29:01):
He's been fantastic and sometimes he has, you know, slugged
more than he probably the Dodgers.
Speaker 8 (29:07):
Wanted to see him do and going for the home runs.
Speaker 10 (29:09):
But when when he's right, he's hitting the all parts
of the ballpark, and sometimes he gets a little full happy.
Speaker 8 (29:14):
We see that and he rolls over on.
Speaker 10 (29:16):
The outside pitches, and that's what guys are trying to
fitch him now. But for overall to hit fifty home
runs in back to back season, to the company he's in,
he's only the sixth player I believe, in MLB history
to do it with you know, Babe Ruth in his company.
Speaker 8 (29:29):
Now, it's pretty remarkable.
Speaker 10 (29:30):
He's the first player ever to have fifty strikeouts and
fifty home runs in the same season. And I know
you said you're going to get to it later. But
Dave Roberts, easy Dodger fans, they have a plan in play.
It's not Dave Roberts's decision to go out and pull
him or not pull him in.
Speaker 8 (29:45):
The fifth inning last night.
Speaker 10 (29:47):
Things are set up. He can't go out there and
debate from what they've already agreed to with show Hey
in the front office and the pitching plan looking for October. Yeah,
it's great, he handed no hitter through five innings, but
you have to stick to the process because the things
would have went bad and he hurt himself and he
cramped up, or he pulled an ad doctor and all
of a sudden he's got lack drain.
Speaker 8 (30:04):
Dodger fans would be like, what are you doing?
Speaker 10 (30:06):
Why didn't you Why didn't you pull him after five
minutes with the plan? Why did you try to go
for a no hitter in September? Because we're about a
championship in October. Dave Roberts couldn't win, So I don't
blame him. It's part of the process. It's not Dave
roberts fault. But overall, it is remarkable. If people weren't
watching the show every night, please do I know he
was in six years of Furgratory down in Anaheim playing
for the Angels and nobody saw him. But now that
(30:26):
he's in the second year with the Dodgers, watch him
every night.
Speaker 8 (30:29):
It's remarkable and he's doing.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
Tim Tim is fired up today.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Boy, you got you were a ridic casino guys, that's
what it is. Got that energy all the Dodgers put
it on the Dodgers. Well, you might be shaking your
boots a little bit. Go back to that on the
radio show, Tim go ahead, so we appreciate you man
as always showed you, buddy, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
No doubt him.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Kates on X give him a follow their Shekel City
Player of the Day on the way. Plus your own
man might be disagreeing with one of the things you
always say, Rob, tell you who next.
Speaker 4 (30:57):

Yo.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
By the way, if it can't hear us, you've got
to turn on your radio and always remember no no, no,
no no. And another thing, that's why Mike Tyson that

you the way I want to talk to you.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
You have a problem.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
Turn off your station.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
I just love like he's doing a live shot Mike
Tyson and he doesn't say like, well I'm screwing, I'm
a get off here, turn off your station like it's
a radio show.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
My favorite part though, Rob's at the end, He's like,
all right, Mike, we're done. Teking. He's like, good f you'
that's peak. That's peak Mike.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Back then a couple Robert Kelvin on a worship Wednesday,
and uh, we're getting ready to do Checko City right now.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
We got to play the day as well. In the conversation,
we've gotta have sex City.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Welcome to Shekel City. The whole base for Rob Parker's day.
Dicks against the sprat today. All right, one and two?
Last night we knew one already. What was the one yesterday?
I remember we already knew one.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Yeah, I only got one because the Tampa Bay lost
by one and I had plus one and a half.
They lost, But I have Boston and I had Shendyeko.
But anyway, one at two twelve and fifteen on the year,
here we go. I shouldn't say that. Boston minus one
(32:57):
and a half tonight, okay, taking on the Athletics in
Boston at the Padres minus one and a half.
Speaker 4 (33:02):
What's the Mets?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
School? We got to school?
Speaker 4 (33:04):
Yes, the Padres up one, two to one.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
All right, Padres minus one and a half taking on
the Mets in New York and Tampa Bay plus one
and a half. They're hosting the Blue Jays. So remember,
I'm not telling you who to bet on. I'm telling
you why better.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Well, I'm talking to you the way I want to
talk to you. You have a problem, turn off your station.
Love it. I didn't even find that.
Speaker 5 (33:31):
I don't know, I'll just as soon as I found it,
I was like, I gotta wring this on, Alex, I gotta.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
Get to staleics. I don't even know, Like, what do
you I'm gonna? I want to give you a fall.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
I want to know what you Google I got I got,
and I want to know what the next one?
Speaker 4 (33:43):
I got one more for you? All right? Well, maybe
that will be playing the day It's time for your
tyreck play the day swung on hit Well center field.
It's going back it fell. That's a warning track. That's
the wall. He is done, Old Rush cal Rowley.
Speaker 7 (33:58):
He has tied Kenfeat Junior for the most in Seattle
murders history.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Number fifty six for cal Rowly.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Listen man as big dump break playing around with y'all
for sure. That's Mariners Radio right there has he been
to forty nine? Hey, it's twenty twenty five. You don't
care about that anymore.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Robb Tire rect Player of the Day brought to you
by Tirereck.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
For over forty years, ti Iraq has been helping customers
find the right tires for Howwood and where they drive
shit fast and free back by free Road has a
protection with convenient insulation options like mobile tire installation, tire
rack dot Com.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
It is the way tied buying should be. Aaron Rodgers man,
he had something to say.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
He were asking about the game, in which they obviously
had a couple of plays they were won. Bet he
had this to say about winning.
Speaker 11 (34:46):
I don't like to getting too binary, but winning that's
a good response. But we can't get attached to the
the binary system that our league has judged on necessarily
because it is a seventeen game season and the process
has to be great, and so just dig into the
details and the process, enjoy it, practice well, and they
let game day take care of itself.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
What did you just say, Rob, What he's talking about
is like the season is two games old.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
I don't know what he s talking about, buyinary and stuff.
I didn't know where we were going with.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
We know that everything is judged by winning and losing. Ultimately,
I've always said it sports has a short menu. But
I just think he's talking about as you progress and
doing the right things and trying to get those things
worked out, and everything will take all.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
I'll tell you, if I said that, you would sit
here and go crazy.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
I just don't think it's a big deal.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
You would go crazy if I said that. Rob Parker said,
matter of fact, I have said.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
That all you've all you've said is everybody passed. I've
literally said everything soft soak everything. I literally said that
that's all you do.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
I've said it's sometimes, man, it ain't just about how
you win it, you know, I mean you want to
see you want to see how it happened.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
What happened when the.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
Lions digged Washington in the post, Oh, they didn't win
that game.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
I think the Lion's on your mind more than me.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
No, it's no.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
I'm convinced they're on your mind and more to me.
You bring them up more to me. Yeah, because of
because of what?
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Because I told you all year they weren't gonna get
to the super Bowl, which you stop doing.
Speaker 12 (36:12):
They were fifteen to two, thank you, fifteen to two
and what but they didn't win the game that they
needed to win. Every time Sam Donald fourteen games? No, No, No,
Sam Donald had a great year fourteen games. Is he
still with the same team he won fourteen games with?
Speaker 3 (36:29):
No? Because he lost the games that mattered the most.
So it does, No, it does why team wins the
Super Bowl. I don't care about that. That's not the point.
My point is, it's just like Jared Golf. The reason
he's on the Lions is that the games that they
needed him to win in LA, they don't believe he
can win.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
And that's the reason what gets to win the super Bowl.
That's meaning you can have a good season, you just
didn't win the super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
So why did they move off of them.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Then I'm just asking you, Sam Donald, why because the
deal he got in Seattle is not a great deal.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
He only got like a one year guarantee, so the
money's not.
Speaker 4 (37:07):
They moved off. They move off. They thought they have their.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
That's why the guy they went to get a tenth
And now they're sitting there wishing they had some JJ,
what you call him Mcgronald McDonald. That's what they wish
they had right now. They could go for a double double.
They a double Chasburger, fishful a JJ.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
They would have waited for JJ if he would have
won those games that they needed, and he just didn't
look good.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
I bet they wish they had him now because you know,
you desperate. Wh you're looking on the bench and you're
looking at Carson Wentz, it is you are hard pressed.
When you got to go to Wentz, he gonna go
four and oh and by the way, that was a
massive drop off.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
To Carson Wentz. When he looked like he was all
right about to be something.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
He got hurt.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
People get hurt all the time, people and the words
paid for people get hurt.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
At the That's that m v P that they gave
to Tom Brady that that that Carson Wentz still had
better numbers.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
Go look at that year, but.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
He got heard of the record.
Speaker 5 (37:58):
He got hurt and missed the last two games, so
they gave it to Brady.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
I hated that year. You hate every Brady year.
