Speaker 2 (00:22):
You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
The Jets lose last night, and I guess Aaron Glenn
wanted everybody in their uncle to know something.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So what was that. Yeah, he wanted to let them
know how mad as hell he is.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
He's not gonna take it anymore. Because in a game
where they had thirteen penalties and three turnovers, Aaron Glenn
made a point, according to multiple reports, to yell at
his team so loudly in the postgame locker room that
the media could hear it down the hall. So he
wanted to make sure everybody knew he was really upset,
and for good reason, because last night, the New York
Jetripolotics became the first team in the last twenty seasons

(01:00):
to start oh and four with zero force turnovers, which
is a big deal because, as you know, Aaron Glenn
is a defensive coach.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
And number two, this is.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
One that's really got his you know, race of eyebrows.
Aaron Glenn last night became the second coach in Jets
franchise history, or excuse me, the third coach against franchise
history to start his tenure as a new coach with
the club oh and four, joins Adam Gase and Lou
Holtz as the last two coaches to do that with

(01:29):
the Jets. He is now one loss away, coming up
on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, from becoming the first
oh to five rookie head coach in Jets history.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I got news for you. He don't need that win
for me to already think Aaron Glenn is the worst
coach in Jets football history. I'm already there. What that's
how long it took me? And I just I told
you about one thing, all that show boating and cutting

(02:03):
a player because he fumbled and all that and the
bravado and you just talked about it, rob to you,
like screaming and carrying on and all that.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Dude, your team is undisciplined.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Thirteen. That's in a reflection of the coach. We agree
with me on that turn. I mean penalties, thirteen penalties.
And do you know who they lost to last night?
The Dolphins. They don't even get any worse than that.
The Jets have turned into the general hospital of the NFL.

(02:37):
When you played him, you get well, Miami was starving
for something, some medicine, some help, and guess what the
Jets delivered. That's what they do. They make it easy
for other teams. Aaron Glenn hasn't changed anything. That bs
that they tell everybody about culture. From a winning culture

(03:01):
in Detroit, he's gonna transfer that over to the Jets.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Culture starts with winning. That's how you transfer a culture over.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
If you don't win, I don't care about all that
other stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I've told you a million times.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Pro sports has a short menu wins and losses. And
when they lose to the Cowboys in New Jersey on Sunday,
he'll be zero and five. Remember this is the guy
who told Aaron Rodgers to hit.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
The road, right, Yeah he did.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
He's the one who's walking around and talking about he's
gonna change everything and we're not gonna tolerate this and
that and if you fumble the ball. Did they cut
anybody else from last night from the fumbles, did Justin
Fields get cut?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
What was the other running back who fumbled at the
goal line? Was he cut? I'm just asking, well, what
is it You're not tolerating that or not tolerating that.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
From a bottom feeder, from some guy you used as
a sacrificial lamb to try to push some narrative that
you're not having it. And it's totally different now with
you in charge. The Jets haven't changed. Aaron Glenn hasn't
changed one bit. That team is pathetic. They could even compete.

(04:30):
I don't care what the score was. Did they compete
in that game against the Dolphins? It was ugly, ugly game.
That's where I'm at with Aaron Glenn. So go ahead,
yell at your team, all that bravado and all that.
How about coach better? How about doing a better job
at coaching your team up so they don't have to

(04:51):
go to Miami and get embarrassed by a terrible Dolphins team,
Because that's what happened last night, and now you're about
to make history. Well, I'd never considering how bad the
Jets are. I can't believe a coach hadn't.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Been owing five actually more shocking.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I'm shocking, and guess what Aaron Glenn will wear that
probably because he's earned it.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
I cannot believe we're four games in and you're going
off on Aaron Glenn. Four games in, four games into
a team that had Aaron Rodgers and only won five
all of last season. Aaron Glenn is trying to develop
in his team. Aaron Glenn trying to find an identity
of the team. Aaron Glenn is trying to find out

(05:35):
who's good on his team. He just got the job
and it's his first head coaching job, and you brought
up the Detroit Dan Campbell, who has had one of
the best teams in the last three years. Wouldn't have
had this chance if they're listening to you, because they
started off to.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Eighth and nine. Then they right at the ship.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
They got their guy and obviously Jared Goff, and they've
been able to move forward.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
So my thing is, I'm.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Not even thinking about Eron Glynn either way, because it's
four games into his first team with a bad team
that I had no expectations of. Anyway, this is the
kid who always brings homes d's, and now I'm yelling
at him because they got D minus like, this is
what the Jets do. So I didn't have expectations. This
isn't this isn't you coming in yelling at John Harball.
I can understand that more because their expectations Super Bowl,

(06:22):
aspirations for the Ravens, right. I can understand that there're
a handful of other teams. You know, Jamiko Ryans, you
might say, hey man, this team is supposed to be
better than this, talking about Detexans.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I can understand that.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Nobody had any expectations for Aaron Glynn for the dagone
Jets because they weren't good. They haven't been good and
I don't know how long. And the crazy part is
they actually have been competing. Game one, they lose thirty
four to thirty two because of the whole kick return
thing that messed up against the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
They could have maybe beaten Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.
Did they win hold Up? They got beat down by
the Bills.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
We know that that was expected, and then it takes
a block field goal for the Buccaneers to beat them,
otherwise they beat them.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
They lose twenty nine to.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Win hold Up and then they only lose to a
terrible Dolphins teams are terrible.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I told you was the toilet bowls. Yes night, we're
watching it.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
This was the toilet Bowl between those two teams, and
they lose by six. So aside from the Bills, he's
lost by a total of ten points those three games,
two of which he should have done.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Most games are decided, So what I'm saying, losing by
close doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
I'm laugh with the idea that we're talking about Aaron
Glenn as if Aaron Glenn is.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
The coach of the Chiefs or the Ravens or the Lionan.
I give you an.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Example, and this is why your argument is lame. And
the Jets rob g Nathaniel Hackett with Denver. Do we
not call it after week one that this guy wasn't
head coach?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Week one?

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Week one we knew the Daniel who can't hack it,
couldn't coach, and he wound up going four and eleven
and was dismissed.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
You could use the same argument, how can you fire
guys his first year? Oh blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
No, this is the bravado that Aaron Glenn brought about.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I'm changing the culture here.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
He didn't come in and tell you, hey, give me
three years and see me in three years.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
We're gonna lose. That ain't no way. That's not nobody
guy that I believe. I give him time.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Thirteen penalties is a reflection of your coaching.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
It is. It is you can game.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Sitting in two and two. They can literally miss it.
And your record is and a kickoff.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Return to that all day and then your beause.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
He got rid of a middling a guy who barely
made the team. It was an act offseason. It wasn't act.
You know how many guys get let go now barely
are practiced, guys who barely special teamers.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
That happens the first three four weeks and everyone's and
it came back now getting.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Your blood press and worked up over Aaron Glenn and
the Jets. Man of you, I want you to go
back to your John Harball tape. I'd rather you yell
at John Harball. I would be down with that than
Aaron Glenn four games into the Jets.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Yeah, it was an interesting day in Cleveland. First thing
that happened was we found out officially that Joe Flako
was being benched. His days are done there in Cleveland.
Dylan Gabriel will be the QB one. But what's surprising
about the move is that even though Flacco's getting benched,
he is still the backup. Shador Sanders did not get elevated.

(10:21):
He's still QB three. Incidentally, Chador spoke to the media
before this went public, so they didn't know yet that
he was going happening with the quarterback situation. And if
you believe what he said or didn't say, certainly sounds
like he listens to the Odd couple, because recall what
Kelvin Washington told him to do last Friday with the

(10:41):
microwave take time to rehit.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
An old hont take that's gone cold.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
The outside isle in the metal.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
It's microwave take with the odd cup up.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
It's okay to be.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Door, Okay, it's all right, nothing wrong with you being
s I like that you can keep it down.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Sometimes he didn't just keep it down. He didn't talk
at all. He acted like a mind for about a
minute and a half for the reporter to do. They
don't get anything from him. Shador Sanders QB three. Still
nothing changes, Dylan Gabriel starting in Cleveland, and Shador had
nothing to say, nothing to add to the conversation.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
First of all, let me say this is Rob's I
appreciate shaduor listening to the Eye Couple.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
That means a lot to me. I'm sure it means
a lot to you. Rob.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
We always appreciate our fans, We appreciate everybody supports the
show and listens and is a part of it.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
But DA gets your door. You took it too far.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
I didn't mean Shdor as in now all of a sudden,
you are a.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Trade world class trained mind.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
I didn't mean that you had a show coming up
where you're gonna be part of the blue man group,
maybe the browner or orange man group in Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
What this is? What I mean?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Will you tell somebody to do something and they go
too far? You tell them to take an edge, they
take a mile. All I was simply saying, Rob was
for shaduor or you don't have to always give us
what's on your mind.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
That's what the group.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Chat is for, right, That's what you jump in and
you say, Man, these quarterbacks playing like bums.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Or I told you I.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
Think I'm better than cam Ward or Dylan Gabriel or
bow Nick or some of the younger quarterbacks. That's what
that's for. The group chat. You got like four or
five brothers. Hit your brothers up, hit your pops up.
Hit Tom Bradio. I don't care hit somebody, but you
don't always have to present yourself like that at all times.
And Rob, you know I've defended them at times I
said look better, say young man, I still believe in

(12:31):
the skill set, but man, you ain't making it easy.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
When you were a fifth round pick.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
You're the third string guy on this team, and you
do things like that within now they got to come
in and ignore it. Stefanski doesn't want to answer questions
about the team, doesn't want to talk about you. And
then now you're miming and they're being asked questions about
your miming. So these are the fast thing a fifth rounder,
a third stream, backup guy needs to be doing, and
he's doing it. And you can do that if you're

(12:56):
Patrick Mahomes and you're having a phone with the media
about something because you're just blowing it off.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Hated, took us too far.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Okay, you've earned that right, you have that equity, you've
built up that rapport with the city, the team, the franchise,
and the community.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
You don't have that right now, and so to be
doing these types of things, it's.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Probably frustrating, probably annoying for them, and to me, it's damaging.
That last point, let me tell you a little something
about Joe Flacco. Rod Parker, I told you I thought
they should start Dylan Gabriel or Shador and that you're
trying to find your guy they want with Joe Flacco.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
We get it.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Joe Flacco's approving guy, veteran Super Bowl champion, but we
knew what this was gonna be. Joe Flacco has six
interceptions in their first four games.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
He's been sacked nine times. He has two touchdowns.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
That's terrible football, but that's to be expected with the
Browns right now where they are. And the point of
bringing up Joe Flacco is because Shador isn't back up
to Dylan Gabriel, probably a large part because of the
antics and all the other stuff. They now have him
third string when this was what I told you. If
you're Chador, this is what you wanted. I told you

(14:03):
Joe Flacco was gonna play his way out just because
he's Joe Flacco at this point his career, and Dylan Gabriel,
because he's a third rounder, is gonna be the starter,
and you could bump up the second and there's a
lot of football that we had. Maybe Dylan Gabriel is
a great, or maybe hurts himself and you're in. But
now Joe Flacco's the backup, even though he's been trashed rob.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Well. It speaks volumes about Chador.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
If anything, I mean, what in the world would you
do going back to a forty year old quarterback unless
you just don't believe Shador is ready to be in
And if what it's the other reason, it doesn't even
make sense. I didn't think it weighed any sense to
have two rookie quarterbacks on the staff anyway. It doesn't
make you got to make a decision. You can't have

(14:46):
two of them.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
It doesn't. It just doesn't. That's why it can't be
the backup.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
So you know, if Dylan Gabriel has a couple of
rough starts, then you put in the other quarterback for
a couple of rough starts, and it could be could be
ugly either one. I don't even understand what they're doing
from that standpoint, but it speaks volumes about Shador that
they're not even interested in seeing what this guy could
do in an NFL game, And and uh, you know,

(15:12):
I'm just it's strange. It really is strange because none
of it makes sense. I don't think it has anything
to do with the antics and the other stuff. I
don't believe that that it has more to do with
just him, uh and his ability, because what else could
it be.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
And I don't know, Maybe they're just holding on to them.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Maybe they think somebody will be desperate and come around
and they could get a draft pick, because that's obvious
that they're not interested in. And you know how quarterbacks
get hurt and things are happening, somebody might go, man,
we need a spark, we need something. Let's do something.
Let's let's get energizing franchised. Let's just go for it.
Let's just throw caution against the wind right and go

(15:50):
get your door. And then the fan base, oh my god,
you know we're owing for But you're the Jets and
you just decided, hey, let's let's give Shador the reins.
Now you're not going to get anything going with justin fields,
or you realize maybe he's just he is what he is,
you know what I mean, and he's not going to
be anything long term, and maybe you make a decision

(16:11):
like that, and that's something that could happen and they say, hey,
we need a third round pick or fourth or a
couple of picks or something, and then that fifth round
pick turns into to capital, you know what I mean.
For Cleveland, that could be the only reason, because they
keep him there. They let Zapi Bailey Zapi on the

(16:31):
practice splitting reps wish Shador, which you don't.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
See that happen, and none of it makes any sense
to me. So also it.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Has to be And I do want to bring one
last thing up. I think you were part of it.
You know Eric Dickerson and all his conspiracy about the NFL,
and I think you guys were all wrong with the
reporting that says that the Eagles and the Ravens were
both interested and told.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Not to draft him, that he didn't want to go there.
So there was.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
All this and you know, Eric Dickerson had reporter that
he talked to people and they blackballed them in the league,
didn't We're gonna show him. I never bought into that,
and I think the reporting points that out that.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
This was Shador.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Schador was the one who did not want, you know
what I mean, to go to the Ravens or go
to some other Eagles where they have two star quarterbacks,
and he didn't want to go there.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
So so this is where we are.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
That makes more sense on why he dropped to me
when you add that reporting.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
But I'll still say this, talent wise, I absolutely believe
that he was not a fifth round pick. I'll I'll
die on that heels. They say, could it be again
his meetings or some other things?

Speaker 3 (17:40):
That was a sixth round pick. Tom Brady wasn't great.
Got tom Brady played quarterback at Michigan. He was his snaps,
he was, he was good, he was great.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Okay, But you make it like you make it like
it's like Joe Montana was a fourth round pick. You
make it like, oh my god, how about well what
some rams quarterback wasn't even drafted?

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Kurt Warner?

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Wait, what do you what? You're throwing me off? What
do you I don't even get what you're saying like?

Speaker 1 (18:08):
My point is you make it, you make it as
if like it's an exact science and guys like a
Kurt Warner wasn't drafted or.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Tom Brady was there, making it like oh no, but no.
My point is that you're talking about, oh, for sure
he was this, or that I don't believe that. It's
for nobody, guys, you know, nobody knows.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
Nobody knows. But the reason why this was a big
deal and you had guys who've been doing this for
thirty forty years losing their minds is because we've never
seen this. Rob You gotta at least admit that we
always have a sleeper. A guy comes out the blue,
a fifth round, fourth round, sixth round, undrafted.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
That happens all the time. You get your brock parties.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
But we don't have guys who are projected as a
first rounder drop to the fifth round unless there's something
that happens, some violent thing in their past or something
like that comes up.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
That's what made this unusual.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

Speaker 4 (19:06):
You guys, know, this big talking point coming out a
Sunday's game and it's been bleeding in all through the
rest of the week, is go to bleed it to
the next Sunday's game. Aj Brown is not happy with
his role in the Eagles offense. He put that passive
aggressive social media post, which he said was not directed
to anybody in particular, but as a result, he's been
asked about it. Nick Sirianni's been asked about it. Jalen
Hurts has been asked about it, and up until now,

(19:26):
we hadn't really heard anybody that either wasn't affiliated with
the Eagles or was like a former retired player hasn't
chime in on that kind of stuff because historically you
don't really see current players talk about other teams, and
they try not to choose, they try not to The
problem is when you got a podcast like Travis Kelcey
and this is one of the biggest stories of the week,
you got no choice but to weigh in on it.

(19:48):
And let's just say Travis is not a fan of
what AJ Brown's currently doing.

Speaker 7 (19:52):
Tock listen, you're four, no boss, Come on, man. It's
frustrating for Aj right now, clearly because he's going to
social media to let everybody know how frustrated he is.
And where I showed my frustration is when we're not
rolling as an offense, and I think I think it's frustration,

(20:13):
it's the desire to get it fixed.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
It's also really hard for me.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
To get mad when when we're winning, I think, I
don't I don't find that energy or that.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
That feeling in me. If we're winning, if we're having.

Speaker 7 (20:26):
Success, if we're putting up points, of course, we're winning
football games.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
And I'm going to say this one hundred percent agree
with Travis Kelcey Kelvin I, you could be frustrated. You
want to produce more your talented receiver. But there's a
time and a place. You talk about that all the time.
There's a time and a place to have that conversation.
Everything doesn't have to go public, no cryptic messages. Go

(20:54):
in have a meeting with Jalen Hurts and the offensive
coordinator and Nick Surry, right, and just have How can
I What am I not doing? Am I not getting open?
Do I need to run crisp or routes? What am
I not doing? Why aren't we Why don't we have
a connection? You know what I mean? Like like there's
a conversation to be had. But when you do this,

(21:16):
especially in Travis Kelsey made the point when you're winning,
if you're losing Kelvin right, and and the offense is sputtering, yes,
but we're not We're not winning, but I'm not contributing.
I'm a big time player. I want to get involved.
We need to get this thing going in the right direction.

(21:41):
They're still winning and you sound like a malcontent. You
sound like the only thing that matters to you are
your numbers, and you don't want to be that guy,
there's a time and a place. Most of the time,
it should be in private. Every once in a while, sure,
could you pop off? And you know when you're so

(22:02):
frustrated and a reporter asked your question, Kelvin and it
triggers you when you say something you probably wish you
didn't say.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Okay, that could happen.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
But to go to social media, you need to take
your time and think about it in order to type
that out.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Do you know what I'm like you?

Speaker 1 (22:18):
This is not like a guy asked your question and
and it kind of just got away from you when
you realize after you said, oh, I shouldn't have said
it like that, that that sounds selfish. He comes off
as a selfish guy who doesn't care about winning.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
And I think Travis kelce Uh to me is spot on.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
I got a couple of things for aj Brown first
and foremost, you know what I was thinking about. This
isn't just a frustration geared towards Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianna
and the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
You know what this is also geared to Rob.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
This is also geared towards Tannehill and the Titans. And
I think what we're seeing is an overall frustration from
aj Brown. I think what he is feeling is I
was supposed to be this top notch Hall of Fame
tra directory receiver, stats, glory, awards, glore, and I think
he's realizing, you know, as of now he won't individually

(23:16):
be that per se.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
But let me break a couple things down.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Number one, what I don't like, Rob, I don't like
when people throw the rocks, throw the stones and hide
your hand. Don't think, oh it was a geared towards
till nobody in particular.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I'm not reading a book for the team. I just
wanted to get some peace of my life.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Like, dude, you keep having antics after ANTIQ, after antiics,
we're reading books. You're calling out Jalen Hurts last season,
you're talking about them this season. Offense can be more
explosive after the game where you had your best game,
then you're putting up cryptic tweaks. And Devontae Smith was
another receiver who won a Heisman, by the way, Who's
probably sitting there like, uh, you don't think I want

(23:53):
some more receptions?

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Suit? You don't think I want more targeting? Suit? You
know who? We don't hear much from not saying he.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Doesn't hasn't said anything, but we know we don't hear
much from Devontae Smith, who has been a heck of
a receiver in college, has been obviously a speezer and
a really good receiver of pros. But he knows, Hey,
we're winning, I'm going out doing my job. This is
what I think AJ Brown needs to realize. I'm gonna
give you a trajectory who he could be if he
owns the position he's in. Michael Irvin. What I mean

(24:22):
by that is Michael Irvin. If you just simply look
at his stats, they're good, they're good. But what he
meant to that team the big plays he made when
his team was needed. Some games they ran the ball
more in Emmit Smith, some games they looked at other
you know, looked the other way.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
And some games it was the defense. Spith was bigger
than anybody on that team.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Exactly, But Michael Irvin made big catches, made big plays,
and was a part of a three time championship team.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
A J. Brown, you can be Michael Irvin.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
I know your stats aren't gonna be Jerry Rice, Randy Moss,
Calvin Johnson, like I'm sure you feel your that type
of talent.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
You're not that good, but I'm sure.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
You feel that way, and I just believe if he
just locks in, stays focused, have communication with Nick Sirianni,
in offensive coordinator, privately, have communication with Jalen Hurts, privately,
figure the thing out. Because I will admit, Rob, I
don't like their offense right now in the sense of
just if we're just singularly talking about their offense points
per game, they are seventh at twenty seven, but after

(25:24):
that it goes downhill. Total offense yards per game thirtieth,
passing yards per game thirty first at one hundred and
thirty eight. That's terrible when you're just looking at it
on the surface. Rushing yards per game, middle of the
pack exactly at sixteen. So they are struggling, and I
do think he knows I'm a part of the you
know that can get us going. When I'm explosive, when

(25:44):
I'm making big plays, we're better. I No one disagrees
with that, but it's how you go about it. Because
my last point, Rob, you know what, if the offense
is struggling and they haven't found the rhythm and they're
not quite clicking, you know what doesn't help distractions, annoyances, grievances.
So the last thing they need, why they're trying to

(26:05):
get this thing, Roland is always having to ask questions.
This guy that looked like this guy offensive line might
be mad at him. Now they don't want to block
the same A little small chinks in the armor that
can hurt the team. So lock in aj Brown, focus
and be the Michael Irving to this team, and maybe
they'll throw the ball more, maybe they'll get the offensive rolling.
But you can look up and have three Super Bowl

(26:25):
rings at the end of this thing and still be
a projected Hall of Famer.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
You get what I mean, Rob Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
I just think there's a time and the place, and
I'm not saying you can't be frustrated, but man, you
won eighteen in a row in a Super Bowl and
it's just like that. Go to the coaches, go to everybody,
and have that conversation.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Don't do it publicly.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
