(00:22):
You're listening to the best of the Odd Coup with
Chris Brush and Rod Harker. And the story of the
day ride we've been covering it in every hour is
Kareem Hunt. And the video today aired by TMZ, came
out of him pushing, shoving, and kicking a young lady
(00:44):
in the hallway of a hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Now
this happened in February. No charges were levied and it
was basically his word against her words. So there was
no video at that time and any boy had seen
and so he didn't get punished or anything like that.
And now we got more. How we have the video
(01:06):
coming out and now we're gonna get to the breaking news.
Our producer Rob g is going to read a statement
that the Kansas City Chiefs released about twenty five thirty
minutes ago. The Kansas City Chiefs. Here's the statement. Earlier
this year, we were made aware of an incident involving
running back Kareem Hunt. At the time, the National Football
League and law enforcement initiated investigations into the issue. As
(01:28):
part of our internal discussions with Kareem, several members of
our management team spoke directly to him. Kareem was not
truthful in those discussions. The video released today confirms that fact.
We are releasing Kareem immediately. Oh wow, wait a minute, wow.
So that's that's really breaking news because we were thinking
(01:51):
you were going to read the statement that the tent
during the commercial came during the commercial break. That's what,
you know what. I'm shocked, but I'm gonna applaud to
Kansas City Chiefs. I'm gonna applaud to Kansas only from
this statement. And I and I and I agree with him.
They asked him about it, he wasn't truthful when now
(02:15):
they're referring to they asked him about it in February
and he told them, are they saying today February? He
said February that they investigated, okay, so that they Chris.
What they did is they said, okay, they sat them
down and when he gave his side of the story.
Now when they see the video, they're saying, none of
what you told us is not true whatsoever, and we're
(02:38):
not going to tolerate that, right and you know, and
you know whatever he after what happened with the watching
stands when they just picked up Ruben or claim Ruben
Foster off waivers, Kareem is not gonna get picked up. No,
not now now. Maybe next year or something, but not now.
He is not. So this is what I said, Look,
(02:59):
this is what you would just saying the Ramafication shock,
I'm some shock, and I gotta be honest. I started
the show saying I would suspend him for the rest
of the season, but I would not have released him.
Now again, I wasn't in the meetings with him, interviewing
him and him lying up my faith. You know what
I saw. I was like, I wasn't gonna release him.
(03:20):
But this is I don't have a problem with this.
But this is because at some point it's about your
values in your company. It just is Chris and guys
like that. It's one thing to say, man, I got
into this. It was stupid and you know whatever, whatever,
and but it's one thing to tell a story and
then okay, we're gonna believe you. You told us and
(03:41):
you and then you see the video and it's like, no,
this is nothing what you told us. And we put
our reputations and our name. We gave you a chance
out there, and you lie to us, and we will
not tolerate this. It sends shock waves not only do
the Kansas City chief locker room, but through the NFL.
(04:03):
Don't tell me, guys, you're like, whoa right, he's out
the league. I mean, this dude was one of the
he's a top five running back in the league. Wow,
they got a chance to win the Super Bowl and
they have released him. Like I said, I applaud the
Kansas City Chiefs. Some things are more important than freaking sports.
And now if you imagine you're in the front office
(04:25):
of the of the Redskins, what are they what are
they thinking? The ownership there and and and obviously I
always say this, whenever there's video, it's a done deal,
because you know it's not. He said. She said, when
you see the video, you know that's happiness. Because even
a lot of people who were like, well, you don't
know what happened, and with the wife and the elevator
(04:46):
with ray Rice when they saw the video and changed,
dude that that conversation didn't happen. Let's look men out there,
not just athletes, because this is men in all. We
talked about what we talk about earlier, about the Me
two and all the big TV anchors, Matt Lowe, all
the people who wound up losing gigs too. Man, people
don't mess around. Now, look, brothers, change your behavior, period,
(05:11):
change your behavior. They are coming down on it, and
rightly so Age seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. How
shocked are you? Do you applaud the Kansas City Chiefs?
You think they went to far Chris, but you you know,
I can say I did not think they were releasing
I thought he might get suspended for the whole rest
of the year. I thought that that's what I would
(05:33):
have done. Uh and maybe even the playoffs as well.
But they know, like we said, kudos to the Kansas
City Chiefs. And I love the fact that this is
gonna make dudes think now, think about it and see.
You know, this is the same thing that happened to
Ruber Foster. From the standpoint of the Chiefs released him,
(05:54):
put him on the put him on the yeah yeah,
and put them on the commissioner exampleist and then the
Rudskins picked him up. Yeah, you know what I mean. So,
so they're not gonna pick up Kareem Hunt as much
want as much as they want to, they're not picking
I don't think anybody there's nobody's gonna pick him up.
(06:16):
Nobody's gonna pick him up for the rest of the
season at least, right and just And I'll be honest,
I am not surprised at to do lie. Let's just people.
Most people forget men in that situation where you don't
think there's right, you don't think there's any video because
because you're boy. Yeah, so you're like, oh, there's nothing
(06:38):
out there. So I'm gonna get away with most people.
I'm not saying it's right, it's not right, but most
people put in that position where you don't think there's
any way they're gonna find out it's your word against
her word. They're gonna lie. But you got caught. And
now it's a different day social media and that wasn't
even social media. But I'm about to just cameras. But
(06:59):
I respect this from from the chiefs, from this standpoint
that we investigated it, we talked to you about it,
you know what I mean, Like they didn't. They gave
him the benefit of the doubt, right, Okay, he said,
she said there were no charges. So but then they
feel like we've been made a full love, you know
what I mean, Like that, we've been made a full love.
(07:19):
We lie straight and remember they're paying you money. Right,
It's not like I mean they're paying you. They are.
They are paying you millions of dollars. And that's why
they're thinking, you gotta be truthful. You know what, because
if he if he had been honest with them, they
probably at worst, we know rob, at worst, he would
have got a six game suspension. Do you remember your
(07:41):
I don't know if his career is in jeopardy, but
maybe it is. Well, the next the next peep, the
next team after this kind of you know, plays itself out,
will have to really sit down talk to him and
feel like this guy's learned his lesson and moved on.
He's not an old guy's a young guy. I've got
(08:01):
a long way to go. That's the big difference. Rice
was not that right, Yeah, and it was easy for
teams to leave him alone. And again I said this
earlier at the top of the show. I'm not I
don't believe personally there's no room ever again for Kareem
Hunt in the league. But you gotta go through some classes,
(08:22):
some anger managed. We gotta we gotta be out for
a while. You rebelieve in you, right, you know what
I mean? Like like they have to like really feel
like you've done something. All right? Be sure to catch
live editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Brussar then
Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific. God,
(08:47):
I know for the Odd Couple Celebrity Corner, all right,
both Rob and I really couldn't be any more exciting.
Oh man, then to bring on our next guest, hip
hop legend, and that might even be an understatement. He's
(09:08):
none other than Chuck d from Public Enemy Chuck Man.
What's up? What's up the couple? Chuck? How are you?
What's up with Chris and Rob? What's up? Man? Wow?
Being called the celebrity I guess right, Stop you being humble,
But you know what's crazy is that Chuck and I
Chris go way back to the nineties when I was
working at Newsday and whatnot. I got an old number.
(09:31):
I gotta get a new number. I got a old number,
and uh, we should talk basketball and all that. He
I know, he's all in the school. He knows his basketball.
Were gonna get giving me the background, Rob was giving back.
I'm from Jamaica, you know Jamaica Queens. Right, that's right
that you know you know it from Jamaica Queens. And
you know the Yad Couple. We grew up in New
York watching the Yad Couple on Channel eleven. Our whole
(09:53):
loves am I right, yeah, yeah, and everybody tried to
get the authentic mets at that Oscar war, yes and Chuck.
Just so you know, I'm Oscar. Don't buy that, don't believe,
don't believe the hype. Okay, what's good to hear you both.
I followed you guys also on the tube too well,
(10:13):
thank you, thank you. I was listening to some of
your recent stuff earlier today and you had a song
it was talking. The hook was like Lebron building schools,
forty five building walls. Of course, forty five is Donald Trump?
Sell me? Like, what do you think about all that
Lebron's doing off the court? All that he's done, you know,
(10:36):
for people off the court. How impressed are you buy that? Oh?
I'm very impressed. Uh. I tell you, When he first
came in, I was skeptical, not of him, but I
was skeptical of the League and all the other old
heads around that was. You know, around that period when
he came in, he was just churning kids in and
out out of high school and not really developing that
(10:57):
their their minds, not really developing that there just their
social demeanor because they was eighteen. Now they get it,
you know, the league gets it that you just can't
take somebody from twelfth grade and make them a star overnight.
But back then, when they finally accepted, I guess the
hip hop with your life. And I think that was
like the ninety eight All Star game at the Garden.
(11:18):
I think that's when David Stern just said, all right,
I can't stop this, so I guess we'll bring it
in and it just went the whole other direction. Man
where and these a lot of the young guys came
in and that time and they didn't know what to do.
I mean, it's really easy for a young person out
of high school to be green and not have no
(11:39):
social not any social training. You know, like when you're
not a ballplayer and you ain't got nobody looking at you,
you know you gotta work to get yours. But you
walk in a spot, you nineteen years old, and you
know you got you already got eight figures pinned to
your forehead, and you got no social understanding on how
to handle all that coming at you, because all of
a sudden, you just select liberty and you're the easy
(12:01):
one visible. So they had no training for And so
when Lebron came in, I said, man, I hope they
just kind of back off of this kid and let
him just, you know, be a ball player instead of
throwing him in the fire. But he's the best I've
seen to handle it, doctor Jay told me. And he's
the one that co sided. We was doing some BT
Awards and I think Lebron was just about to be
(12:22):
a rookie the next year. When I was addressing my
concerns with Doctor Jay and doctors pull beside. He said, Nah,
this kid is different. Man, this kid got it. And
from that point on I was I was sold and
been sold ever since. Hey, we got some breaking news
real quick, Chuck d u Kareem Hunt has been placed
on the commissioner's exemple list, so he cannot practice, play
(12:45):
games or ten games at all. He'll still get paid
as of course, there's an investigation. But did say Ryan
Tagliaboo don't know what to do? You know, he don't
know what to do? Man? You know you mean, well,
(13:06):
but did you sorry for that throwback miscus? Did you see?
People make people make miscus and music every second and
nobody says anything. You make a one mistake in sports,
you got the whole bar turn you upside down. Right,
that's the truth. Did you did you see that video today,
the Kareem hum video. Yeah, I saw the clip. I
(13:27):
try to stay away from it, but you know, I mean,
it's everywhere gets pinned up. I'm trying to go about
my business and I'm seeing, you know, some young people
got a problem in the hallway. Oh he happens to
be a pro too. Oh yeah, right, So that's the magnification. Man.
It's like these things happen every day and every minute,
but you know, once it's magnified by people in the
professional ranks. You know, you got a story, and these
(13:50):
news um circuits and social media, they show no shame.
It's a thin line between Johnny want to have a
blog today and the daily news. I guess y'all bad.
We talk about that all the time because just because
you have a blog, you're not a journalist, and that's
where the line has been blurred. But I will say this.
And I know we were talking about Lebron James and
(14:12):
Chuck d I know you're the biggest Nick fan and
all that, but I think, and Christ we've argued about this.
I think Lebron James ruined the NBA. And what I'm
talking about is the building of super teams making all
but two or three teams really relevant. We already know
the Warriors are gonna win the championship barring two injuries
or something like that, and uh, they're going to the finals.
(14:35):
What is this? Five years in a row for the
first team to do this since the Celtics of the
fifties and sixties. Do you like this? NBA for his
last do you like this? Nay? Listen, guys, I think
lebrona handler. They said the same thing about Will. They
said the same thing about Kareem when he came in. Ah,
he's ruined the league. It's making it look too easy.
We gotta see if we can enforce what they did
(14:57):
today and see double as on kareem On lewis offender.
So I mean, I think Lebron he can handle it,
and it's up to everybody else to make sure that
they don't get ruined. He's all right, he's already Exton Stone.
I think today's NBA. And I was discussing this earlier
because you know, I listened every day like the Johnson
and Termany over on the other network, and they were
(15:19):
talking about the development of young players. Man, and I said, man,
whatever happened to you know, looking at a twenty four
to twenty seven year old being that this is a
person I want to watch and I want to see
them become a star instead of waiting for the eighteen
nineteen year old become a star overnight. And so as
a Nick fan, Man, I'm like, yo, we're looking at
(15:40):
all these mistakes. I mean, we got massive mistakes based
on just like they just d in the headlights and
being somebody who's been I guess, I guess infamous and
socially known around the world. I see, no matter how
old somebody come in, I said, Man, it's gonna be
three to five years before they understand what they see.
And they d in the headlights. I don't care. They
the biggest name in music, the biggest name in sports.
(16:03):
They're hitting five hundred home runs in their first rookie year. Yo, man,
they did in the headlight socially, and I just think
a lot of the young cats they don't see anything
until like twenty four to twenty five years old, so
it starts to become clear on who they are and
what they're about to do. And I think if you're
trained to do something but you don't know who you are,
(16:27):
you bound to have a problem. You're gonna hit the
wall somewhere. And so the duel, and this is what
it affects a lot of young people. It's like, yeah, okay,
you can learn how to do this trade, but you
also got to figure out who's going to be in
your life to help you find yourself. So you got
dual development that got to take place. And for the
longest period of time, athletes didn't have it. It's like, Yo,
(16:49):
as long you can flip the game, we want you,
but how are you flipping your life? And being a
developed person. It don't come overnight. That's why in college
and says you gotta at least go the school four years.
You can't get it overnight. You get four years, then
you're done. Then you figure out what you're gonna get
the masters in what you do, and then a doctorate,
and each each year it gets harder and then you
(17:12):
come on out at eight years. But you know, just
in anything, you know, it's a development, a dual development situation.
And unfortunately, when it comes down to the people of color,
when they used the word African Americans, I mean, I'll
just use black black man. We got they got dual
development situations that got to happen between sixteen and twenty four. So,
(17:37):
I mean it's the eye couple of Christ Bass are
Rob Parker were on with hip hop Legend Public Enemy
front Man, Chuck d and Chuck Lebron. We were talking
about Lebron. You you obviously saw the Samsung commercial where
he had Welcome to the Terror Dome, one of your
hits playing in that. I know in his Shut Up
and Dribble documentary that you you made some new music
(17:58):
for that. How much do you have a relationship with
him or how do you know? How do you think
he you know, he was born in eighty four, so
how got near music and stuff? Nah, I think you know,
I think I heard Red. I've never met him. Um.
I think he said his uncle's listening to pe so
that was understandable. And I think when he was coming up,
(18:21):
he was in the jay Z Realm and all that,
so that that's that's his era of liking, you know, music,
and so I've always been respectful. Um. I think that
one time, I tell you that that BT party, he
was sitting down and I was looking at him on
the other side of the room, and I was kind
of like saying, I don't want to be another old
(18:41):
dude up in his face. So I kind of like,
and I was telling Stuart Scott at the time, late
grade Stewarts guy, I say, I want to go with
and shake his hand, but I don't want to be
an old dude in his face. Man, he's like eighteen
years old. Everybody at this party's thirty and up. So
you know what I'm saying. It was more out of
the respect of young man. Let the young man breathe
man and leave him alone. And that's why I didn't
(19:02):
go over to shake his hand because I was like, man,
let the young man be a young man. So that
was that way, That's what that was. So that was
the closest I became to him, and that was like
Ian to well, he's obviously a big fan. Now you
you're somewhat connected, like because I'll be honest, I feel
like when I think of you a lot of times,
and certainly with you in basketball, I do think of Jordan,
(19:23):
Michael Jordan because you know Spike Lee. You were obviously
in a lot made a lot of music for Spike
LEAs movies, him being Mars Black Men, and you know
his relationship with Jordan. I'm gonna ask you, who do
you think because everybody debates who's better Jordan or Lebron,
which one is to go? What's your view on that? Unbiased? You?
(19:47):
I'm not qualified like you guys, I got I got
my favorite. I always liked ball players, if I have
to say my favorite guys, and they you know, and
they there wasn't necessarily superstars guys like Rick Mahorn, Uh
you know, Oakley, Charles Barkley and Guy Isaiah. When it
comes down to I knew you gonna say Oakley. I
(20:09):
knew it because I tell you, Oakley was one of
the guys I like to watch play too. I'm telling
you that guy get hustled, but he at heart he did.
He can't. He tried to win. Dude every time out there.
All right, put it this way, Chuck, give me your
all time starting five. You know, like being a fan.
You know, like when I was growing up, I had
(20:31):
a starting five. I was a big Willis Reid fan.
So I'm never gonna leave Frasian Willis Reid. However, so
then of course you got Caree. You got it, you
know later on Magic and Bird. I think it's impossible
for a person like me. I get all stupid, but
I tell you my favorites. When got me punching the wall?
When I look at Isaaih. You know, I'm a nick fan,
(20:51):
but I love the bad boys, and I love the
way they played. I missed that style of ball. I
like today's style ball a little bit. But Kenny Smith
told me this years ago. He said, Man, the game
is developing from a three point line to three point
line type game. And if you don't have the shooters,
and if you don't have a coach that understand how
(21:13):
to make their ball players understand the whole court. The
game will be unkind of unwatchable. So but you know
that's what it is, and we got to make the best.
Kitty Smith told me this like twelve years ago. Yeah,
so I mean, I mean, I hate to dodge the question.
I like, you know, cats that are able to go
outside the game. Of course, we Muhammed Ali, Jim Brown,
(21:36):
you know, Roberto Clemente is my hero. You know. Uh,
cats that actually said you know what, I got this
this this light on me and you're not going to
stop me. I was eight years old with John Carlos
and Tommy Smith. We're watching the Olympics. So I'm an
old head that remembers that cats knew that they got
limited mic time and limited visual time, and so when
they got the mic, they said something. And nobody was
(21:58):
better than Muhammad Ali of course, because he praised a
lie and also just talked about everything else. And then
he got to the point and Howard co Sell would
push him in the foudy talking about boxing. So they
took the most out of their out of their prime time.
Now today with social media, everybody has a voice, and
everybody's voices all over the place. Um so you know
(22:21):
what Lebron James is doing today. Since his voice is
quite big, even in the world that has a lot
of voices, he's strong enough to say I could go
out of the box. He's confidence to say that, y'all
can't do anything with me. And everybody's also saying, man,
it's a danger of the inmate running the asylum or
the slave ruling the plantation. I say, I could say that,
(22:45):
and y'all could say it too. You know, a lot
of white journalists are white folks, I guess on sports journalism,
they might get fired for saying something like that. So
we're in a touch you, We're in a touchy round.
It's it's really crazy, man. So you know me as
a call I could say because I know the sentiment
and the heat and the radiation that comes through every
day when it's even not said. So there's a sense
(23:07):
of hey, you know what, these guys are getting too
big for their britches. Hey, Chuck d we got thirty seconds.
Who are your knicks gonna sign this offseason? They have
money to spend, The Brooklyn Nets have money to spend.
Who's your dream, your dreamy dream? Even even if it's
two of them. Man. Let me tell you, man, we
don't We don't succeed in New York picking the obvious
(23:28):
free agents because they've melt in the city. They can't
handle the city. The best way, we always got to
get some scrappy guy and a great draft pick and
see if you got a coach that that could manage that.
About free agent picks, we could go all the way
back and say there's only been a few that that's
matched the city's intensity. I'll leave it at that. Yeah, yeah,
(23:49):
it's it's been a long run. Man. I give you
credit for still hanging in there with your knicks, because
year after year, decade after decade, they disappoint you. Man,
you know I mean, I mean we just sit in
the seat and we watched TV. Man. You know my
pops that past a couple of years ago, I would
not move to another team because I grew up on
the teams that he watched and made me wat. I
(24:12):
feel you what, Chuck Man. We appreciate it, brother, Thank
you for all the knowledge, and I will be in say,
in touch with you. And when I text you, don't
don't act like you don't know me. Man, I w
I catch you guys on the other side of the TV.
All right, Chuck, thanks man, appreciate it. Fox Sports Radio
has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch
(24:32):
all of our shows at Fox Sports Radio dot com
and within the iHeart Radio app search f SR to
listen live. Let me just paint the picture of what
this really means Kareem Hunt. Those of you who are
hardcore football fans know how great he is as a
running back, but he is in his second year. He
was on a cost controlled contract. He wasn't even making
(24:56):
a lot of money because he's still in that rookie
right scale. He led the league in rushing last year,
fifth in the league this year, arguably the best running
back in the AFC on arguably the best offense in
the AFC, a team that definitely has a chance to
win its first Super Bowl, and he has been cut released.
(25:23):
We both were given props to the Kansas City Chiefs
only because some things are way more important than win
in a football game, even winning a championship. And you
know what they said, Hey, we investigated this, We talked
to him, and the video does not match up with
what Kareem Hunt told them. After this incident in February
in Cleveland, and that's why, you know, you go into
(25:45):
your employers and they asked him about it, and they
took his word on it, and then they see this video.
They were probably shocked today when they saw it, like
most people, and they did the right thing. No question.
Eight seven seven ninety nine On Fox. Let's start with
George in La. You're on the Odd Couple Sports Radio. Hey,
what's up, guys. Yeah, this is a damning video for
a cream hunt and Kansas City did the right thing
(26:08):
and they're definitely going to Super Bowl this year my opinion.
But the thing is it's the evidence. Now they could
bring new charges against him. Oh, no doubt about it. Yeah,
there's no doubt about it. Not a police have some video. Yeah,
this is hotel video, surveillance video. Thanks George for the call.
All right, Dwayne in Orlando, you're on with Robbing Chris. Yes, guys,
(26:32):
I appreciate you checking my call. Listen. Um, I love
you guys show, but I'm gonna have to disagree with
you guys on praising the Kansas City for releasing him,
because it's obvious. And let me start by saying this,
You guys are too intelligent. Brothers, and you guys said
(26:55):
from the start of your show, how did TMZ get
the video before the NFL, which the NFL has more credentials,
more money to do private investigations and get information before TMZ.
But now that TMZ released a video, you're gonna play
(27:16):
damage control. And now the NFL and the Chiefs. The
NFL and the Chiefs say, now, you're right, could they
could be? But they say they haven't seen it, and
you're just specula. You don't have any proof that they
have seen it. And to be honest, even if they had,
even if it's just public pressure that's making them do this,
(27:38):
they're fine. And and Dwayne, this is the other part.
You seen the video that's not acceptable. Whether whether who's
got it, who released it, it doesn't matter. We see
the video. You don't have to play football. You could
get a job or do something those you don't have
to play exactly. Okay. I respect what you just said,
(28:02):
mister Rob, but I want to bring up I want
to bring up another case. Okay, when they went after
Zeke Elliott after a year after his his alleged um
controversy with the woman. They said when they set out
the sixth game suspension for him. Oh, they went and
(28:24):
got hired private investigators. They due diligence to investigate Zeke Elliott.
And this is why we're sticking by our six game
suspension right now. My personal opinion, I think the NFL
and the Kansas City Chiefs is playing damage shot like
(28:46):
he might be right, but I don't care. What what what?
What I am most concerned with is a message being
sent to men, not just football players, but men that
this type of behavior will no longer be time you
said it. Damage comes earlier in the show. Once you
start making people pay for for their misguided uh violence
(29:09):
against women and actions. Uh. Yes, there's a price to
be paid, plain and simple. Whether you can run the
football or not, whether you deliver mail, whether you whatever
it is, this should be penalty. John and Spoken, you're
on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Hey, guys?
Love the shows? Hey? Thank you? Hey? I gotta say,
(29:32):
you know, maybe Kareem Hunt should have should have stayed
at home and watched the Golden Girls, right, that would
have been a lot easier. My man. Hey, you gotta
say is that? I mean you love those old shows?
Did you like Matt Lock and uh and murder, she wrote,
too murder, she wrote on like not Matlock Murder, she wrote,
I did like to next thing. You know you're gonna
(29:55):
be bringing managers, all right, Quincy, all right, go ahead.
What's your point, John? So I just gotta say. I mean,
it's it's crazy. I know athletes for years. This is
a microcosm of society. This goes on forever. It's just
crazy to me that these athletes can't adapt, not just
their actions, but there's cameras everywhere you lose. I can't
(30:18):
believe that they've got these honourages. No one's really looking
out for them, and what is going on to put
yourself in that situation. Well, you know, John, I mean,
he's fortunate that what I don't know if that's an
etage whatever these guys were that were with him in
the hotel, like they were holding him back, Like this
could have been much worse. This could have been a
Ray Rice situation or something like that, where you know,
(30:40):
he's punching or something like stuff like that. So he's
lucky those guys were there to hold him back to
the degree that they could. Yeah, absolutely agree with you there,
that's true. I wonder how it started and got to
that point in the first place. But I gotta say,
my real issue is my fantasy football team. What am
I gonna do without my run? Well, you better pick
(31:01):
up that dude, Spencer wear. He's averaging five and a
half yards to carry. So all right, we have a statement.
Here's some I guess breaking news. It's from Ian Rappaport,
the great NFL insider. He says he has a statement
from Kareem Hunt, and Kareem Hunt says, I want to
apologize for my actions. I deeply regret what I did.
(31:22):
I hope to move on from this. Look, and honestly,
I think he means it. I don't think. I don't
know if he's sorry for what he did to her,
but he's sorry now. And look, we have a saying
in the church, Rob like, if you we want you
to do the right thing out of your heart, out
(31:45):
of the goodness of your heart, right because you know
it's the right thing and you want to do right.
But if you can't do it for that reason, then
we just want you to do it, even if it's fear.
You know, no, he might not mean that. He might
hate this woman that he was hitting and kicking. But
as long as it his behavior changes towards women in
(32:06):
the fine, even if his heart has right, then that's fine. No,
I agree with that,
