Right after we get off the air, So let's update
the baseball game.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Otani struck out by the way he struck out. Muki
just lined out the third.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
So it's two outs, bottom of the third, and we
saw Vladimir Guerrero Junior hit the two run home run
off Otani. The interesting thing is Fox, So it's two
to one Toronto, bottom of the third, two outs for
the Dodgers. But Fox showed Otani's numbers when he's pitching,
both regular season and playoffs two forty six batting average,

(02:06):
seven home runs, fifteen RBIs, So his numbers aren't as
good when he's obviously pitching. There's another focus there. You
don't really want to be on base, but he's on base.
Remember he let off the game with a walk, so
that's not always good. You want your pitcher to be
just kind of focused.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
In on or hitch pitching. Yeah, so far, what do
you think so far? I mean, so far.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
He's fine, Like he's not eight I don't if for
you're the Dodgers, he doesn't have to be Yomamoto Yamoto,
you know what I mean, like me, and he just
likes to complete games. If he ends up going another
three innings and only gave up the two runs, maybe
even three, we might give up.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
But even three, thinking on six runs.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Even if it's three, you're happy because you figured we
should be able to win.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
You know what Rob Tree was inside, you know, he's like,
what do you say? I thinks I'm rooting for somebody
or I care that much. I was trying to get
the point to him that when you do this, it's
about your take that you want to be right. I'm not.
I don't care about the Blue Jays. I don't care

(03:11):
about the Blue Jays at all.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Off they win.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
I picked them in five or six, depending on what
outlet you heard.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
But but.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
They're called flip flop. No I no, no, that's not flip.
It's not like I picked the Dodgers for one thing
and the Blue for.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Somebody over here like five six. I'm just saying, I
all right, I hear what you're saying. But here's what
I challenge you.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
But but I don't it doesn't matter to me. I'm
not like like people think like I have. I'm invested
somehow other than I'm an analyst and that's what I
do for my living. A lot of guys in this
business have very long careers and never get anything right,
and somehow it doesn't affect them, and people just keep watching.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Who I feel like you just you thought?

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Did you think you were sitting next to Brian Kinni Again,
I ain't falling for that. First of all, Rob g
might have set it up wrong. It ain't that you're
rooting for the Blue Jays. You're rooting for the Dodgers
to lose. There is a rooting interest you do. Get
your root on nobody. Let's get to the root of
the problem here. Don't try to no, no, no, that
that why am I.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Rooting for the dog? I live in Los Angeles? Why
do I hate the Dodgers? Let me give you my mic.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Ask yourself that question. Why are you rooting against the Dodgers?
Huh so, yeah, you might not have a I'm rooting
for the Blue No. I know you're not blue. You
can care less about the Blue Jays, but you're root
for the Dodgers. You picked the Blue Jays, you plick
the Brewers? And who the Dodgers played first?

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Rob G?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I forgot the Phillies. Who else you want to pick?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
The Rags?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I didn't pick no Reds. They don't even belonging to
plan and they watched this ro Is there a serious
since you've been working with him that he did not
pick the Yankees? Oh? Never a? Who'd you stop? That's
a s Are you not pick the What are you
talking about? I found two things and nothing else in
life that you? What are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
You have never picked against the Yankees in a series,
the Yankees and to Dodgers to lose.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Not true, I'll give you right now we're watching the
NBA is Philly versus Washington.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
You have no insweres you care less? Who would you pick?
You only want your pick to be right. I agree
with you.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I want my pick to be right, but not with
these two teams. No, that ain't true. You know it's true.
And Rob G keeps track. That's the best part of
all G.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
It's called poof a performance, okay, and the performance is
anybody but the Dodgers any But.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I don't know where Elijah said he and the best
part is Roggie the look he gives me what he says, like, hey,
you're never gonna believe this. I got the Blue Jays
plus one and a half. Yeah, I know, rob Blue Jays?
Did you? Can you believe that?

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I will say this that Elijah has made a permanent stamp.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
It's any team other than the on my best It
just sits there. I'm just saying, all right, what are
we talking about now? Okay, I'm gonna say this.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
So we talked about the Ravens, okay, and then win
that they had.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Hotley looked like he was like, who needs to start quarterback?

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Probably that, but but the idea that they won that game,
that was a really good precursor to Lamar coming back
on Thursday, Like, like, seriously, and this team, we know
this that there two Derek, can we fumbles away from
winning two more? You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Like like there were two games that he cost them,
would you for sure? One definitely?

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Okay, but there was two games that they probably would
have won had he not fumbled in the situations that
he did, and it counts and I'm not trying to
take him away and they lost the games and all
that and their defense wasn't good to start the season,
giving him forty points a week or whatever. But they
have too much talent. They're getting healthier. If they get

(06:59):
their can they make could run in this division? Absolutely?
And my pick rob g before the season started because
he always says, I'm do I pick the Packers every year?

Speaker 6 (07:10):
No?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
But I picked the package this year and that was
before the Michael Parser's trade, right, because it wasn't that
right before the season. I remember we I think I
picked the Packers, right, I did before and then they
got them, so and I picked the Baltimore Ravens, like
you you picked the Ravens, but I think you picked
the who did you picked the Lions?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Ravens Lions? Yeah? Like like, uh, he's talking about me.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
And every pick is the Lions and the Tigers and
the Piston.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
You know, I picked the Mariners. Mariners Dodgers was my
World Series pick. See, I keep s it real, son,
I don't mind picking against them. And the problem with
the Lions is now they were there fifteen to two,
the twenty one carried one twenty one and four, meaning
they don't really lose. And since I've been a part
of this show, no, no, what are you talking about
you don't count playoff losses talk about regularly.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
No, I'm talking about the playoff law. They don't. You
don't count those No, Okay, I mean I'm saying regular
sea what we count on we do I count the postseason.
Even if you do, that's a lot.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Okay, So they're twenty one and five, rob and I
got to include a win so they'd be twenty two.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
They don't why whatever? All right?

Speaker 4 (08:25):
My point is that I'm serious. I still I think
the Ravens can make a run. And you know, I
don't flip flop. I'm sticking with my Super Bowl pick,
but I don't think if they can get it going
and get in the playoffs, I think that they could
still make a run if they get everybody right, if
everybody's healthy, if guys play not they don't have to

(08:47):
play play to their resumes, you know what I mean,
play to their abilities, because they they weren't doing that
when the first when the season first, Am I crazy?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
You're You're you're a crazy light.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
And the only reason why I'm not going full blown
crazy is because of Lamar Jackson. And he's just that
much of a difference maker that if it came down
to a game or two they needed to win. He's
just that good that he can win a game or
two to make them win the division or at least,
you know, find some wild car spot getting there, and
then from there you let the chips fall where they may.

(09:21):
And again, he's just that good. So that's why I'm
not gonna say you you're full on crazy. I will say, however,
I just don't like what I'm saying from them as
a total unit. Defensively, they've gotten better, but you know,
they're not where they should be where we all kind
of thought they would be. With the guys if you
look at the back names in the back of the jersey,
they're not where there should be.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Dereck Henry.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Surprisingly, you thought when Lamar Jackson would go out, they
would like to say kind of what San Francisco has
been doing. They said, all right, party's out, this guy's out,
whole receiving groups out. We're gonna rely on McCaffrey. He's
been getting the ball like crazy. That's not the case.
Derrick Henry. He's got a couple of touchdowns because they
were right there at the red zone. But he's not
going crazy he's not getting a buck twenty but forty

(10:00):
buck fifty to thirty carries. We're just gonna ride the horse.
It's not been that So I don't know what they
are right now. I don't so I don't like the
total team as a whole. But again, the only reason
why I'm giving you crazy light is because Lamar Jackson
in his prime right now, is just that good that
if he matches up against the right team and needs
to win this game to win the division or wildcard spot,

(10:22):
it will be very hard for me to go against him,
depending as long as it's not like one or two teams,
because he's just that good and he's that unique that
is hard to gain plan for him.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
I just think like their roster and their talent is
to read you pick them for a reason. Yeah, I'm
just saying, and they haven't played up to their potential.
You got plenty of time to get there, is what
I'm saying. It's a long season. We saw them last year,
rob g. I want you to read out the schedule
to what's coming up. But remember the last two they
were owing too, and most teams that start owing to

(10:53):
don't make the playoffs. And we were like, oh, we're
gonna make the playoffs, right, exactly, both of us. They
won seven of the next eight. And that's what I'm
saying with Lamar coming back.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
I'm not that's not crazy. I said, he's that good.
I mean, give us a schedule, rob g and let's
see what like wild lines.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
While in order for them to make the super Bowl,
like you have them win the super Bowl, they got
to make the playoffs first. In order to make the playoffs,
they got to get out of this two and five
hole they dug themselves in.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
But this schedule shapes up very very well if you
were believing the division alone is easy. So Thursday against
the Dolphins, Dolphins are not very good, Okay, so there
could be a w right there.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Then they get the mini by right because you played Thursday,
got ten days for the next game. They travel to Minnesota,
but JJ McCarthy so far has only played one good quarter.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
Then it's in Cleveland, Dylan Gabriel, nothing to really get excited.
It's at home against Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
You look at those right there, and let's so let's
say they lost one of them, just so, then then
they're at home to Joe flacko win them down there
might be plucky because the Bengals suddenly got an offense,
but it's at home, but it's still winnable.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Right then it's at home against Aaron Rodgers and Steelers,
so both the two tougher games are at home. Then
after that then they go to Cincinnati and they close
it with Bengals, Patriots, Packers, Steelers.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
So that Week eighteen game with the Steelers division that
will be crazy. And that's also not crazy, I meaning
that that's not far fetched.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
But that's why that's why I'm feeling, you know what
I mean, Like especially with Lamar coming not not winning
that game, because I thought I didn't need to win
that game, you know what I mean? Yeah, go ahead,
yeah I thought that. And then for Steelers that that
loss hurt them as well.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
The Bengals lost, they were up fifteen or someone like
five minutes left to take come on, and to the
Jets who couldn't score a big loss for them because
to Rob G's point, it's not they expected to be
a powerhouse. But with that offense and Joe Flacco kind
of made you like, if they can just win enough,
because maybe.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Nine games, wins the Division ten division, but how the
defensive core still employed? I'm serious, like to the Jets.
That's okay, you know what I'm saying to that.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
So first of all, don't disrespect God like that. I
just can't get justin fields. Okay, that's right. What am I? Lord?
Lord looked out? Oh God, rob G real quick question.
I know we got it up against that. We got
a teas here, we got the callers.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Me and Doub were talking off the air yesterday about
the MVP.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Were talking about me first, Yes, we were.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Now yesterday, Oh yeah, yeah, that was That was on Friday,
the last time I talked to Friday.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
We were talking about the MVP with the johnath Taylor conversation.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Yes, we were talking off the air though, you and
I and it was hey, man, if Lamar Jackson comes
back and they run off seven of eight, you know,
eight of ten whatever, and they make the playoffs, they
win that division, is it possible that he could get
the MVP even though he missed already a quarter of
the season or did he miss too many games where
there's no way of doing it.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
He missed too many for me, but it would make
it interesting. But I think he would have missed too
He would have missed too many.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
And not to mention, I think they would not They
would love to give Patrick mahomes And if he just
stays on the.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Church, I just don't if they would have run it back,
like just say he wins nine out of ten or
and he plays and puts up numbers and they come
storming back from a two and five start, and.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
He's the reason why he will be No. I'm just saying,
like that's that happened is because.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
You know what I mean, like that's compelling where you
were looking, go, man, that team was dead in the water.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
How did they do it?

Speaker 5 (14:31):
That?

Speaker 3 (14:31):
And that?

Speaker 4 (14:32):
And that would be to me why that would be
a compelling story for them.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
You know what, They would probably just give him Comeback
Player of the Year though, because they the same You
get that the same year.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
That's not come back, get it the year you came back.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
No, but that's like coming off an injury like the
year before, not during the season. And but his numbers
rob g real quick, do you have them? What was
numbers before he got hurt? Remember we got off to
a great start to start the see it was the
best start in NFL history. Right, just listen, there is
the reason I picked the Ravens before the Chiefs game.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
It was statistically the best start by a quarterback in
NFL history since two thousand and sevens on Brady.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like he got off to
a great start, and then now I think.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
He would have missed What would that be if he
plays Thursday? Was at four or five games? I think
four or five, So I do wonder if that would
be too many. But listen, right, Lamar can go crazy.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
He's he's he would have missed three and a half games. Yes,
he's a video game player, all right?

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Is it crazy
to say that Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are still
Super Bowl contenders?

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Or you out? We'll continue that conversation next with you.

Speaker 4 (15:45):

Our couple Rob Parker kelvin Washington on a trash Talking
Tuesday was a spirited one. Thank you to everybody who
called a little bit earlier. In a minute, we're gonna
have a up. You know what I mean? You like
to have deep conversations on the radio with our listeners
end up being really good. And one of the other
things we like to do is these boxing hypotheticals and

(17:21):
things that could potentially happen. That's become kind of a
hot thing for us. And well there's another one out
there that might be happening. We'll talk to you about
that in just a little bit. Make sure you check
out the brand new YouTube channel shot out to Elijah.
It's got it looking great. We're on there right now,
Simon casting a couple FSR just searched that on YouTube,
like share, subscribe, all that good stuff. We appreciate it
as always. All right, any confidence that the Ravens can

(17:43):
get back in this thing. If Lamar's back Thursday, can
they get back in it? Can they win a division?
Can they get into postseason? And maybe you have a
chance to get the Super Bowl? Eight seven to seven
ninety nine on Fox? Who we got all right?

Speaker 2 (17:54):
First?

Speaker 4 (17:55):
Was that RJ and San Diego. Well he got something
to say, odd couple five Sports Radio?

Speaker 2 (18:00):
What's up?

Speaker 9 (18:02):
What Rob Calvin, how you guys doing.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
What's what's up? Buddy?

Speaker 9 (18:07):
You know I'm a little herd right now because my
boy Rob is going against my team, and I'm a
little sad, man.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I'm not going against your team. I'm just calling it
the way I see it. Well, get some new glasses, then.

Speaker 9 (18:20):
You know, you know there's not one player on that
team you do not just you did not not like
you know everybody's it's a good team, man, Like we're
just humbling that that.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Is actually has a good point.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
It's a very likable like who doesn't like Freddie Freeman,
who doesn't like Mookie? Who doesn't like show Hey other
than you the Princess Royalty at the game. Yes, yeah,
it's a very very likable team. Like how do you
not like who's the least is it? Max Monty? Maybe
least likable guy?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Maybe? And that would be there's nothing he's done.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Yeah, Sean in Sacramento, you're in the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
What's up on?

Speaker 9 (19:01):
Yeah, I'll go from another mother cousin, killfy, my brother's
by the board? What up our mind? Very real quick
man on this take, and I got a little I
got a little trash at the very end of this car.
Real quick man. But on this take, man, I hear
y'all about Lamar our most talented QB in the league
by my books. But man, with that injury, and you
never know what those type of injuries, what kind of
effect that's gonna have on this running game. I just

(19:22):
don't know if he could pull it off. And with
that coaching staff, Rob you've been preaching it all year
one dimensional does it not to make any type of
changes to influence the game and help them win in
the second half. I don't see it coming. And if
I got a couple seconds just to trash somebody, real quick, man,
who's that The LA fan base man talking about the
game was.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Just so long.

Speaker 9 (19:43):
We just had to be traffic. We an't had to
go home and had to end word to Rob G.
Wasn't it just two weeks ago? That's yet that Seattle
fan base showed up and showed out in game six,
stuck it all the way through for sixteen, and then
we got kids with shoes on top of their heads,
everybody cheering on the big dumber man. It can be done.
I don't want to hear none of this wowsy wowsy
woo oh gone from the LA fans, that fans school.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Everybody said, Rob G, Rob G, he didn't want no
part of it.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Rob just want to walk around and get free stuff
at Costco. That's all he wanted to get free. Oh
I have another one, Yes, I will.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
I think.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
I think the job that he really wants, other than
being a producer on the radio, is to be a
greeter at Costco.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
What do you mean you think? Yes? Absolutely, I told
you that. That's not even like a think like he
can't wait to be old. He just wants to stand there,
have people come in just hey, how you doing right
over there? I'll sixty scan membership and hey where's your membership?
Hey you? But would you be like, I don't you
don't you're Rob G? You can't tell like overweight women?

(20:44):
Do you really need that? Oh you know that? God
never crossed my mind? What can I have a full
honest moment? Rob G?

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yes, When I first started here years ago doing weekends
and we did a few shows together and everything.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Did you got work to Yeah? I I was like
I couldn't. I didn't think you You're I was like,
is Roger nice?

Speaker 6 (21:07):
Is he warm?

Speaker 2 (21:07):
It's like you're way nicer of a guy than I initially?
Oh wow capital And no, he was just he was
just kind of hey, what's up, No doubt Yeah, so
here's the topic and yeah, it kind of straightforward, not
like here comes another two on. So now I said
that to.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Say, are you like that guy at Costco, Like, Hey,
I do you?

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Oh no, I'm the Costco police membership. Yeah, I see
this is for executive members only. I first thought was, right,
we got.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
We know, we don't play around when it comes to
that kind of stuff.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Did you see Sandy Kofax after he gets the home run, He's.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Just like, oh, like, man, I knew that was going.
I was gonna say, Sandy, you know, dude, that is
still Aim. That's that's incredible because when you say his name,
he almost feels so like like he's not with us anymore,
because it's just so what's almost reverences if something from
the No.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Doubtless Squeeze and Andre in Massachusetts. You're on the odd
couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
What's up? Dright?

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Hey, Hi, how you doing?

Speaker 10 (22:07):
Thanks for taking the call. Listen. The Ravens are Super
Bowl contenders in Madden twenty six, the Super Bowl contenders
and Madden, but in terms of this NFL season, look,
the only reason they have a chance to make the
playoffs is because of the injuries and what's happening in
other differences, right, what is the the AFC H South
no good? Indianapolis running away with that and then Joe

(22:28):
Burrow being knocked out for Clese excuse me for Cincinnati.
That leaves them a window. Steelers in one game over
five hundred. They're three games under five hundred, you know,
so they could if they get hot this back half
of the season, they could catch up to the Steelers,
maybe getting that second spot, maybe even overtake them if
the Ravens players, they're capable. But super Bowl that that

(22:48):
that horse the sails, right. They lost the first game
to Buffalo that they shouldn't and they just with the
slippery slope from there.

Speaker 9 (22:54):
I would like to see.

Speaker 10 (22:54):
Them getting the second season because it would be a
great storyline. But honestly, the Baltimore Ravens are the new
book for Buffalo Bills. They can't get as their own way.
And if this season is not successful, where do you
go from here? We've seen it again and again and again.
They just can't get over the top. So I hope
they get in the playoffs and get themselves a chance.
They're no more super Bowl contenders. Thanks taking a call.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
All right, appreciate here it all broken down and if
you look at this and indicators indicated at the Browns
and then what you got to look at is the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
All right, appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Drake all right, right, said the same thing about the
Denver Broncos, and then John l Way won the Super
Bowl the last two years in the league.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
I'm just saying, yeah, that's what That's what Andre was saying. Yeah,
you knew them back then. No, no.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm Eastern,
four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
You ever had that that project, you have to do
the group project, and you just didn't do it.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
You didn't show up, and somehow they put your name
on the list. You got a that's gonna be Andy
Paez at the end of the Super Bowl, at the
Super Bowl, the end of this World Series, if Dodgers win,
he's gonna be jumping around hey in the celebration. But
somebody's gonna be like, man, you didn't do nothing of
this group project.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
I'll never forget when the Mets won in eighty six,
Lee Mazzilli was on the team, and Lee was a
star earlier, but.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Not with that team, just like a role player.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
And so he goes crazy in the celebration with the
champagne and he's pouring champagne on the general manager's head,
Frank Cashing, and I'll never forget.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
He's being interviewed and Frank.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Cashing goes, it's always the guys who do the league
who poured the most shift?

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Wow, yo, he did it a lot of television. Hey man,
it's always the guy who do the lead.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
That would be Whatody Johnson If somehow the Jets want
he will be like, it's always the quarterbacks that will complete,
right they want to celebrate.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Oh man, all right.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Roger, I don't even want to talk about this. I'm
I'm against this whole segment.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Nobody got time for that. Exactly are we talking about this?

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Because Rodzi's got sources, multiple sauces.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
You got some what honey mustard on the c of
the situation.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
They told me this a week and a half ago,
and then it got confirmed earlier today by former ESPN
fighting inside of Mike Coppinger and what is that that
Floyd Money, Mayweather Oh God and Manny Pakiau Oh God
are currently in talks for a rematch.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
A decade after their snooze fest.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
This fight, if it gets agreed to, and from what
I'm being told that it's trying to fall apart at
this body wanted.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
That one by a ten years too late. Five.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
This fight would take place in the spring of twenty
twenty six if they are able to come to terms.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Well, you like old people, I do like that, so
you'll be at the fight watching two old people in
their walkers and canes fighting each other. Floyd went from
being one of the greatest boxers of all time, a scientist,
great to watch if you love just technical boxing and
all that great and a master of the business of it.
So now he's just he's just he's just he on

(26:11):
side quest right now, he's doing side quests and it's
and it's driving me crazy because again robg asked me,
is he was like, no, no, no, that click.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
You're not gonna watch it? I said, I promise you.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
I have zero, like I'm looking put the camera on me,
zero interest in watching this. There's nothing enticing. Floyd hasn't
fought a real fight in twelve fifteen.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
It's been a long time.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
It's been Manny has been trying to be a President
of the Philippines and then he boxes every now and
again when he needs to. Neither one of them are
real fighters. And if it's not, and it wouldn't even
be a real fight, probably some exhibition that I have
zero interest in this.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
But this is what I told you when the Tysons, remember,
I was like, dude, I'm out on this, Like there stop.
These are all just money grabs where people know people aboard.
They're no real fights out there. They want something to
do on a Friday night or whatever you set it
up or whatever. Well, let me let me just see
I might see something, you know what I mean. Let

(27:09):
me yeah, yeah, we never got to see them really less.
Let me see this again, like just spending money, like
because you have nothing else to do, you want to
bring your friends over or whatever, have above a Friday
night party, fight party.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
That's what people need. But that's what they're banking on.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
But it's a Friday night choreography party. Like they're not
even fighting, like ready, They're like they're gonna be doing
a TikTok dance. You swing, I swing, I swing when
you swing, I swing when you like. They're not gonna
be fighting anybody gonna Neither one of them can fight
at this point. But that's the prob right, That's like,
this is gonna be gonna be but but you know
people will buy it. What people Well, that's why these

(27:43):
things keep happening on Netflix and things like that, because
it's the ability to so sit home, turn on Netflix
and it'll be the first ban.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
But but then the other thing too is people will
go to Vegas. There are the people who are still
trying to get there. I know they don't have the
crowds they used to have, but I'm.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Just say, by the way, wont to Vegas this weekend.
Y'all get me nervous quick, little twenty four hour I'm
in and out.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Okay, I'm just gonna like going to Vegas now in
twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
I'm gonna give you a warning, be careful.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
It's like that because there's a chance a tumble we
could hit you while you're on the street.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
I thought I was about to get robbed on the streets.
Like is it like when the last time you've been
in Vegas a year and a half ago. It's been
a rob G when I went out, not that long though,
I know that's what I think I'll be more recent. No,
I'm not saying there's nobody there, but it didn't so

(28:39):
I went to see. I went to see was not long.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Ago and and honestly, Rob, it's gotten worse since you went,
because I talked to Lamar Mitchell every week getting off
the air and they are, as you guys know, they're
building the track for the F one again.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Oh yes, that's holding the shit. It is horrible traffic,
everything closures.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
You can't even walk in front of the Bolaggio fountains
anymore because they're building the grand stands.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
So all the locals are like, yeah, this is the
worst thing we could have possible.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
And now you know they're also building the A stadium
downtown where what was that Rob due to Tropicana yeh,
Tropican Tropic County, like right on the strip right across
from MGM, right there.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
So I don't know how much that also is altering
any traffic. I think that's where I gotta go. Where
you going right, MG is a concert? Yeah? Who are
you going to see? About it, about it, you're going
to see about it? You know what I'm saying, some
uh bubblegum band. No no, no, no, no, no, it's a
polar I was into that. It's the streets. I was

(29:47):
gonna say, we celebrating blackness on this show. Street like that,
young gez, mind your business. I would neither deny nor confirm.
Unbelievable boys demand the residency at the Mirage. Uh is
a new addition there? I mean they used to be
boyster Man. It could be new addition now.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Yeah, I think new addition is the only thing is
they renamed the band to old Edition.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I'm just saying there, he's gonna be front row in there,
front row, they're gonna be serving up, wrapping up the
guy doing the greed to get the front black and
that's my my life name Rice Putting, Rob g gonna
be right there and they got some rice pudding.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
But the best part about that, you know, going to
an old edition concert now is that up front where
they make room for wheelchairs. So if you just pring
your own wheelchair, you don't have to worry about this.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
You get right in. Free admission, free admission, all right,
So Tani still still out there. Oh they're crazy. This
is the third time around. Be careful you so far
he's giving up ten runs according to you. You do
know that?

Speaker 1 (30:44):
What that man? You do know that he's giving up
ten runs. And by the way, I predicted five. Or
let's see if I'm right yesterday I was right on
spectrum six to five. I see I said five four
Dodgers win. See if I'm right again.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
So if you say it and nobody's watching, is that
the same thing as making up well, you know, people watching?

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Oh I'm sorry. You know it's your boy, Your boy?
All right? Last Call the Way eight seven seven ninety nine,
Ass call already?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I know this this one. We say that a lot.
But this did fly by. You know it's real with
Rob jevens like, man, this show flew by. All right,
Last Call eight seven, seven ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
He's worked on some other bad shows. See you've been
doing so good this last three four shows. He knows.
I'm just saying, you said what shows he was on?
Told you Rob used to be me. It was the
first couple. I would be all I would be I'd
be all nice, Like, what's up? Man, here's the rundown?
Just do the show and heang Rob g I it

(31:36):
puts the lotion on his skin. Tell you the words
that are in front of you. By the time you're done,
it'll be like four Odd Couples. That's a good point,
all right, last call Fox was ready.

Speaker 3 (31:46):

I don't even remember why I don't.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
Remember some of the stuff that you have me saying,
I don't remember it at all.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
You remember this one?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Rob Boy? Which one? There's too much? Burger is King?

to have me doing this.

Is King? All right? It is last call time. I'm
sir Orlando. Want to hang up?

Speaker 4 (34:24):

Speaker 10 (34:33):
Hey?

Speaker 9 (34:33):
Back to back guys, Thanks for having me again.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Appreciate you, No, thank you, guys.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
I just gotta Jerry Jones again.

Speaker 9 (34:40):
I gotta try to Jerry Jones today because.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Today he came on and said the defense isn't as bad.

Speaker 10 (34:45):
As it looks.

Speaker 9 (34:46):
Well, damn if you're thirty first one, the worst is
thirty second, dead last.

Speaker 10 (34:51):
And that is not what he said on Jerjio. Yeah,
he said that that is not as bad as it looks. Listen,
the Cowboys defense is so bad it's like using the
toilet pig.

Speaker 9 (35:02):
You just don't do it.

Speaker 10 (35:03):
Man, It's gonna work, all right.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
He Orlando ain't lying with that brouh. Some things in
life you gotta pay extra penny for. Is that right?

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Toilet paper bad? Toilet paper is awful. You got to
spend extra a little bit.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Her chee is seventy six, right, Rob's.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
He whipped it out on Tom Brady and just put
it all on the table. Okay, what's wrong with cheap
toilet paper? If it busts, if it breaks through.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
You know how big this thing was before I started
biting easy, Ah, how was a big hot dog?

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Oh god, oh man, on your last day, the compilation
is going to be it might be a four hour show,
sixty minutes of just oh my gosh, oh oh, Rob,
sixty minutes of that.

Speaker 7 (35:53):
Here I got a great one for you, Rob Parker.
I was like, hey, Rob, you ever heard of tears
for Fears?

Speaker 4 (35:57):
And he said this, tears for fears is what happens
when you choke on a hot dog dipped in water.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
Now it's good, man, it is.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
I was a little freaked out because it was too big,
you know, it was like it was huge, and I
was like.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
It was what was that might be the craziest Alex.
Look at children just going by, Wow, okay, hello.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Now they take that while you are at us c
don't say that what somebody tapped into your head. Somebody
had some technology. Let's just show Hermit's Hermits.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
What is Ron thinking when he was sitting there with
his when his pocket protector, pocket protector and his calculator
sitting there having a little coffee. It's a good show, though,
I remember that Herbert's head or fuck I do remember that? Hey, yeah,
you want to see my favorite christ Restord one. He
doesn't listen glass. I put air Rogers in my mouth
anytime I want. It's my all time favorite. I was

(37:01):
at US having a big fight one day. It was
so do you remember that? I do. I know he
would not have lunch. He would slip you one hundred dollars.
Speaking of Chris, today is his birthday. It is happy birthday. Yeah,
shot a little comment on the ground. What is Chris now? Fifty?

Speaker 1 (37:21):
I think he ate seven. I thought he put it
on the age on the post. Maybe maybe I'm maybe
I'm wrong.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
I think he's fifty.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
He got to be closer to sixty, right, and then
fifty seven? He ain't that young. Don't let the no,
I guess I'm no. Fifty four, bety four. I bet
he's fifty fifty four.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
No, he's not that. He's like five years younger than me, right,
So fifty fifty four, fifty five max.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
No fifty seven, come on, I'm just like, I know
he's like a couple, you know what I mean, like
the years. But congratulations, happy birthday, many many more.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
To Christophers song for his birthday gift, Alex, I'm sure
he wants you to bury that. You think so? Yes,
I would bet on that.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
And the Dodgers are threatening here in the sixth inning
two on one out the Jason Smith Show with Mike
Harmon is coming up next.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
I never miss your radio show. I never hear it,
so I never miss it.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
