Speaker 2 (00:19):
You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
It's Game five and I told you about the Blue
Jays yesterday show hal Tani.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
This time it counts.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
He's the greatest player whoever walked the face of the earth.
He gave up four runs, went zero for three and
struck out twice. I don't want to hear about game three.
Game four, that was the one that would have pushed
them over. They would add a three to one lead.
Here he was on the mound. Everybody was so small
at Dodgers Stadium, even Shaye. The Dodgers are winning five games.

(00:58):
He bet me win. Where's my gift card, Shay, I
want it now? Five games? My ass. Old Tony couldn't
even know to come through for them yesterday when they
needed them. The best part is Rob said, the Blue
Jay's gonna winning five depending depending on what depending on
what network we watched it, depending I want to sing.
I was watching at my other job and Brian McKinny,

(01:21):
you said, alright, I said six, yeah, okay, I got
two out there. Five Yeah, we all out the beach
right now with flip flops. I'm gonna take this six, okay.
So here's rob g. Today's news is that Dave Roberts
has made some switches.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
He has he has coming into tonight's Game five. Again,
whoever wins game five when it's two and two?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
If you hit me with a percent, you have to
win it the time. I'm sick, you know, you know
everyone has been since seventy right, everyone sixty nine? If
you know the winner of game one sixty nine percent,
winner of Game three s alright, I don't want to
hear any more.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
So the big story coming into game five is that
the Dodgers, outside of Otani cannot hit the ball at all.
They haven't been hitting as a team all playoffs. They're
batting two to fourteen in this World Series, all right.
Worst of all, the quartet of Mookie bets Andy Pie
has Tommy Edmond Key k Hernandez batting a combined one
forty seven. As a result, Dave Roberts making some wholesale

(02:21):
changes to the lineup. Mookie Bets, who's batted second basically
all season, drops down the third, pushes ready for me
down to fourth. Andy pie is out of the lineup altogether.
The Dodgers really moving things around, hoping to get a
spark offensively.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
You know what, desperation time for the Dodgers and Dave
Roberts is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Because let's be honest, this is on Andy pie Has.
Who who's batt it's ninth, This is on him. He's
the one who has to come out of the lineup.
Even though the big dogs nobody's hitting. Is it really

(02:59):
about the Dodgers? They're not even down in this series?
It's two two, and guess who you have on the mound?
You have your ace. Blake's now is on the mount
and you're panicking because of what not? Because of Andy Piez,
who is a great defensive player and he did have
twenty seven home runs Kelvin this year right out of nowhere.

(03:20):
I'll give you that. He don't have the track record
that these other guys have. I'll give you that but
that's the reason you're losing. That you're gonna take him
out of the lineup. Mookie's not hitting months, he's not hitting.
I mean, Freddy's not really hitting. You know, he's had
the walk off, and Otani other than those two games
is not hitting like they're really struggling offensively. And I

(03:45):
just don't stay the course after tonight. You lose tonight. Okay,
I'm with you. You got your ace on the mound. Stay
the course. Tonight was not the night. It's just window dressing.
I disagree. I think it was too I think it's late.
I think Dave Roberts was riding. Andy Poe has too long.

(04:06):
He had for fifty at least he's consistent, consistently bad.
And let me tell you why, I actually wish you
to say you said in the ninth hole. The reason why, Robzi,
this is all I know. I'll be dealing with the
hypocrisy of Rob Parker. Rob Parker said next to me,
this entire MLB season going with Brian Kitty. Let me

(04:26):
tell you something, Brian, those home runs don't matter. They
don't matter though, those solo home runs. What's you screaming about?
Old Toddy doesn't get RBIs well, daggd hit the ninth hole,
wasn't hitting four for fifty. Maybe those home runs would
have been two run three run home runs. Can the
man get on the base a little bit? And I'm
not putting it all on him, But what I'm saying is,

(04:47):
in my job as David Roberts, what do they call it,
you are a manager, Let me manage this lineup a
little bit. Let me shake this series to two. It
is too two, but I'm going on the road for
two and i gotta make sure we're absolutely poised to
have a chance to win. And you know what you
do towards the end of something. I don't care if
it's a ball game, I don't care. If it's a fight,

(05:09):
you scrap, you bite you, You do anything you can
to win and degge. If it's moving Andy, moving Mookie,
making some things happen, you have to do that. And
by the way, if it's also bringing a picture that
we never expected to come in to close the game
or to relieve for a little bit. At this point,
it's all hands on deck. Anything goes. We're trying to
win a game, a world series title, I should say so.

(05:31):
I'm with it and in fact again andie Pie has
had so many chances, Rob even in that eighteen and
you're all right, maybe you can get out something. But
he played two games and it's it's just it's shine.
But wait a minute, but the times Okay, I'm not
I'm not disagreeing that he hasn't hit, right, it is
the other game. But who have they walk show Hay

(05:52):
to get to mook Okay, wha, Okay, So Mooki is
a bigger part of this. I think I just saw
the graphicing he has had a multi hit game since
Game three of the NLCS. I think, like now, he
struggled and that's a big reason. That's why they keep
walking show Hey and not pitched. If Mooki was swinging

(06:13):
the bad there's no way that they could walk show heck.
And this is why MLB bro already know that Mooki
is more likely to come back and be Mookie like
than Andy Pye. You running out of games, so we are,
and that's why you have to start making these change
And that's to me why I'm going to do whatever
it takes. And that would be the same thing with

(06:34):
the Blue Jays or if this were a NBA finals
or in Super Bowl halftime. Well, we're gonna stay. Oh,
you make adjustments, you make changes, and baseball it's a
little different. You don't necessarily make adjustments kind of the
same way that other sports do. Maybe pitching you do.
We're gonna pitch them a little differently. But this is
an adjustment, and I'm not mad at it because to me,
look how far you've gotten not making that many adjustments. Now,

(06:56):
to me, it's all right, this isn't working. We've tried it.
Let's make some adjustments to see if we can't finish
this thing. You got one more here in La, then
you go on a road to another whole country.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
And I'm just this is seriously, I don't remember the
kid's name, but I just told kelvin the story, Rob
G and Rob G, you you're better off like telling this.
But you know, you know, I meant to a lot
of people I mentor that I teach, you know, and
all that, and and I'm very big into, you know,
giving back and whatnot, and especially for a guy who

(08:12):
doesn't have any kids, you know what I'm saying and whatnot.
And so I'm walking to the car and the way
to get back here, and a guy stops me. Rob,
do you heard the whole conversation? You would be better off?
Can you tell?

Speaker 2 (08:27):
You?

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Can? You can? You? Uh? And and and he's a
producer at Aby's at Good Morning.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Good Morning America. Yeah, me and Robert trying to get
work done. But you know, Rob Parker, he can't go
anywhere without being recognized. And they say, hold on, Robbie,
I got to talk to this guy real quick. No,
but yes, he I don't know what he looked like.
I was on the phone, but this guy you can
hear make a be Hey Rob, Rob, and we're on
the phone. He walks up to him. I just want
you to know I never forget his name is. My

(08:53):
name is So and So. I worked for Good Morning
America and one of the producers there. You don't know me,
but you're a big inspiration in my life.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Can you imagine that somebody walk up to you and
say that out of the blue yep?

Speaker 4 (09:02):
And he's like, for all I'm paraphrasing, all the black
journalists around the country look up to you and the
way you paved the way for so many people, and
what you've done to help so many people. He's again,
you don't know me, you've never met me, but I
want you to know that you really inspired me to
do a lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
In this Alex, I'm dead. I was floored. I just
I just told Kevin this seriously, because that's not something
you're expecting. I'm just literally walking back to the car.
This guy comes out of nowhere as a whole crowd
of people walking towards my way, and it's just the
nicest thing when people acknowledge you in that way absolutely,
and you feel like you know what you don't even

(09:37):
you don't even know you're making an impact. Dude me.
There are times where we look, we get on here,
we tell our hot takes. People yell at us, you
scream at us, you call us whatever, you can, gree
with us. You love what we said, you love, you giggled,
you let But there are days when someone will tell
you how meaningful what you do and how meaningful it
is and what it matters to them, why it resonates
to them, And those are the days you're like, all right,

(09:58):
I love to be able to do what I do
that it can make a difference in people's lives. And
anytime you get those moments, it's awesome, man. For sure.
It really got it out. It was one of those
and the best part about it, you said it right.
It always catches you off guard, you know, because you're running.
I gotta get out. Dot stated that Rob g and
I talking on speaker like like about the show and
I'm not thinking about anything else, And and he didn't

(10:21):
even he could have just oh that is Rob park
and walk by or just say Robe Rob and kind
of kept it moving and he could have. But you
know why that is. And I'll just said his last point,
it's because to this young man's credit, and I think
we need more of this. I've been big on this.
I pat myself in the back day and I've been
like this for years. If I see somebody that I appreciate,
I ain't too big, They're not too big, and I'm

(10:42):
scared to see me. And my wife is just talking
about this. My wife, she sent a post that Kevin
Hart sent. Kevin Heart basically said, I'm in a room
with Jeff Bezos and oh I want to go meet him.
I introduce myself and everybody some people around it. He
gonna take you on his jock and let that man
and then people think small money. Kevin's whole points said,
that's a wealth of information. As a guy does great thing,
I want to just shake his hand. Tell him, man,
I'm a fan. You know, I appreciate everything. My point

(11:03):
is this young man had the wherewithalt to say, Man,
if I ever see some you know in this case you,
I want to tell him I appreciate what he does.
I want to tell him, uh, you know what he
meant meant to lite? That shows me that he's going
to take that and give back himself. I understand the
importance of that, and it's always great when people were
able to do that. So yeah, I totally get the sentiment, man,
when people that's why that's a story to share. It
really is. I can't keep that to myself. I just

(11:26):
was like, wow, it made So the point is, did
you shed a thug t here? I did not, because
I was too busy trying to finish eating what I
was eating.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
He interrupted the GLIZZI well, you know who did shed
a thugs here today? Couple of guys. One MLB bro
for sure, Aaron Judge, the MLB broh Cody.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Oh God, is that your alarm clock? All rise?

Speaker 4 (11:59):
That's a Aaron Judges up. So is arguably the greatest
player in baseball right now, show Tani. And that's because
the MLB Players Association did their annual poll where they
had players all across the league and basically every player
got a vote if they wanted to weigh in, and
then if they could, they wanted to ast them most

(12:22):
outstanding player in the n L, most Outstanding in the AL,
Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, so on
and so forth, and.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
These are just players.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
No Rob Parker, no Calvin Washington, no Isaac Lohenkron, the
winner of the NL Most Outstanding Player, Kyle Schwarber, Hello,
the winner of the AL Most Outstanding Player and Major
League Baseball Player of the Year, the big dumper cal Robins.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Hello? Is this The two biggest stars were the two biggest.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Stats across baseball snubbed by their peers.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Calvin, you know what this is about? Go ahead, what listen?
I want you to go that MLB players simply prove
the conversation you and I have had in the NBA
over of the sports. They prove that they can also
be player haters as well. Because this doesn't make any sense.
There's no rationale behind it. And again I hate when

(13:18):
you have to do this, rock because you know what
you have to do. You got to poop pool the
other guy, like as if you know you're not saying
that those guys And that's what makes that's what these
types of things make you do, is you have to poop.
You end up having to poo pool the other guy.
And so I'm Kyle Schobert, a very good player. You
sit up here every day, you know one of the
things you complain about about oldany and his greatness. One
one of the things you first go to's bat in

(13:40):
two eighty too forty. That's the player of the year.
That's the player of the year. We sit up here
and talk about old Tony can be a little better
to eighty to forty, and that's the guy you have
over him. Not to mention aside from home runs and
RBIs a lot of that we go to the bottom
of the lineup for the Dodgers. But every other metric
was in favor of Otani, every other metric, any other

(14:04):
thing you wanted to look at at all, on base
slugging percentage, all these other metrics things. The only one
he had was that you have one more home runn
he had. He had fifty six. Otani had fifty five.
That was the same thing. And he had more RBIs.
He did have a significant more RB I think, like
round thirty more rbrs. But the man pitched in fourteen
games like he And again I'm not saying Shore is

(14:28):
a scrub, but the idea that he was bat no
one believes that. And what happens Robert the same thing
with Aaron Judge. Now that one's closer because I think
they're gonna see what happens with the MVP vote. But
I think what happens man, players want to crown the
new like oh, man, I don't know. I like what
Kyle's doing over there, like, oh look at that, Like
let me find something a little new at cob Hey.

(14:48):
I'm just saying he bawling because there's no other reason
that you would say that got on the metric. And
I think there is a little bit of player heteration
where they're like, I'm tired of that. Aaron Judge is
already won in a million old Tony's wonder a million
he I Or if you have beef with the guy,
you know, maybe you're in a division and you guys
go battle back and forth. You like, man, I ain't
giving this dude no more love because I have to

(15:10):
quote my guy Rob Parker on this. It's we talk
about all the time. It's like when Lebron got a
handful of votes best player in the NBA a decade ago.
Maybe now I get it, Okay, ten years ago he
got a very handful of votes for who's the best
player in the NBA. Come on, and it just shows
there is something to when you have players who are voting,

(15:33):
there is some hateration or if they're joking. I don't know.
Did we start off right off the bat with one yes, unbelievable? Wow,
right off the bat? First pick that was Schneider right
they put in the lineup? Dude, they loaded like that Blake, Wow,
it's one nothing to run on the first hitch literally

(15:54):
p one home won the left field. Wow, come on, Blake?
All right, Okay, that's my whole point. I guess it
just itesn't make any sense. Jealousy, like like they're tired
of here. Here is everybody's beating the drum that O
Toddy is the greatest player ever and it here's a
player's pot where they're like, no, he's not even the

(16:15):
best player in the league, Like seriously, and if they
say judge, you'd be like, okay, but but just but
just think about that. And and in both cases that's
what it comes down to. That's why we talk about
it all the time that actually the writers we're not
we don't have in the game. It does matter. Players
are is that another one? You get two pitchers two

(16:37):
on runs. You gotta be kidding me on three pitchers,
don't disrespect them three pitches time out because look, we
need a twenty. We need a twenty, a full no wightment,
a full time out. Oh we hit the crowd with
the blotdy vloody. Daddy ain't playing yo. I thought Kershaw

(16:57):
wasn't pitching the night. All right, here's the problem. Every
time I turn my head and listen to you, like
your point, I turn, I miss a home run. Shay
is shook. Look at that blame I blame Shaye? Where
is Shad? Look at people are like Dodgers and five.
I at least gave him respect, I said six. All right,

(17:19):
so wishing this picch no.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
This.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
They're swinging away at this point, they're like why not?
He was like he gonna throw another fastball? He tholing,
let's go for a turkey, Hey, a hat trick and hockey.
Let's go with what would would what would we call
it an m LB rock three home runs in the row.
We got a name for that hat trick? Going a
hat trick like its hockey? Yeah, right, unbelievable. I want
to say this. It's it's a lot of it is

(17:45):
jealousy that they they feel like, oh he gets too
much love, too much from everybody talking about how great
he is. All the players are great too. Spread spread
the exactly, and then we'll go back to even if
you think play don't have skin in the game and
don't have jealousy. We talk about all the time our
Lebron one hundred and twenty, some of our players didn't

(18:07):
vote for him for the All Star Games? What it was?

Speaker 2 (18:09):
That was it?

Speaker 1 (18:10):
And how about this one. I'll give you a better one.
When Isaiah and Bird and then froze out Michael in
the All Star Game, Well, young young whipper snappers, Oh no,
you coming in here, that league trying to turn the
league over to you. Oh no, we're not having that
really right, Yeah, which is why it's just when when

(18:30):
when Kaitlyn Clark was getting a little you know, shit,
they don't want to do this or they're trying to forge.
I'm like, this is not new players do this. You
can't just come in here and be on a new
hot shot and everybody talking about you and then hold on,
I mean, we built this league or we you know,
we've been but they try to make it like the
reporters and writers we are we're jealous, we're jaded, we're

(18:54):
uh have biased against people if we don't like them
and all that, And here are the players doing worse
to me because they know what it takes to be
out there. You can't tell me I'm serious. And I
get the love for the big dumper and being a
catcher and playing every day, but they know the league
averages two forty two and Judge bat at three thirty one,

(19:16):
and Judge had fifty three home runs. It's not like
he just hit for average. He had average empower and
that and absolutely, and I think that's the trouble. And
this is one of the one of one of the
things you have debates on, an arguments on. I just
think human nature happens where I'm tired of him. Here
we go tiny they are, He's talking, And that's what

(19:37):
I mean. When you get these votings, and that's we
talk about MLV, in NFL, MVP and things. It's just
I think people go, lamar, get another one, or well
Lebron or Kobe, Yeah, maybe he'll get you know, as
opposed to what they're actually saying right then and there
in their eyes, and it kind of tricked themselves into going, well,
it's just he deserves it now so and so it's

(19:57):
just their season. But put the both ot and both
both and Judge absolutely deserves to be the But I
could see that the big dumper over uh over Judge
no more so than college Scharber is at home shocked
right now. Scharber's agent called him, say, hey, did you

(20:19):
see ya? Go check your check the email. I just said, like, wait,
what me, schwarb is.

Michael Jordan has made his day butt on NBC.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Made two of them Week two of the Michael Jordan
Experience on NBC and when they held us hostage with
the Last Dance for ten weeks, Hey, we needed we
thank god, they.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Said, we need it.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
We need it.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
We used to get an episode and die second the
whole week, Rob g during Now you remember that it
saves our whole lives.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
That Andi King I had to hate on nineties basketball
every day like six weeks because we needed the content.
We needed the content. We got to disrespect Magic Johnson repeatedly.
I was like left hand, left hand like you got.
You can't do nothing of these days for any events
spect magic. I had to we needed robo. We were
struggling out there in the streets.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Uh, that was a wild time.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Michael Jordan Week two of the NBC Experience, and this
week's topic was about load management. Here's what his airness
had to say on the subject.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Take a listen. What do you think of when you
hear the term load management thrown around?

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Well, it shouldn't be needed first and fullmotes. You know,
I never wanted to miss a game because it was
the opportunity to prove it was. It was something that
I felt like, you know, the fans are there that
watch me play. I want to I want to impress
that guy way up on top who probably worked his
ass off to get a ticket or to get money
to buy the ticket. You have a duty that if

(21:56):
they're wanting to see you, and as an entertainer, I
want to show Bay.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Now that's all straight on it is. And he was
like that, he oh what I always talked about that,
Like somebody came to see me play today and they
paid their money and that and a lot of guys
they just the money's so big now they don't think
that they owe anybody anything. They really don't look what
I just look what our row money got crazy. I

(22:23):
literally have to say the money got so crazy that
they don't think that they owe anybody in it. It's
just and you know what it is, too, Rob. I
think there's a contingency of folks in the NBA who
just didn't know any better. Like if you were about ten,
twelve years ago, thirteen when the money got crazy, I
think you just started to be just like, the money's huge.
Why do I got to participate in an All Star game?

(22:45):
Why do I got to particip what's the big deal?
Why do I got to be a dark contest? What's
the big I? Hoop? I play in the game? No? Listen,
all of this goes hand in hand with how you
view the game, and the game is left better when
you Kobe Ain't God blessed dead, are giving it your all,
practicing your work. Michael Jordan played in the Dunk com

(23:05):
Michael Jordan was and the Dongs twice. Yes, you know,
and so many guys did it. And there's so many guys.
Larry Bird was Larry Bird still pulling up at the
three point contents. Y'all know y'all losing today, right, not
even taking his warm up jacket off. You had the
best of the best participating. You had the best of
the best wanting to play because you know what they
did wanted to do. You're not coming in my town tonight,
Larry Bird, if his Magic Dominique, if his Jordan Isaiah Thomas,

(23:28):
you're not coming in and showing them out tonight. And
he said, and we didn't play the whole thing. He
went on to say physically, if you cannot play warm
I if you really can't, but the idea that you
could play, or the idea that you just don't want to,
or even a team. I gotta put some of this onus,
on the team, not just the players, because Steph Curry
talked about that, Well, we're gonna just sit you out
tonight because d da da da da da da. And

(23:49):
I think ring culture rod plays a role in this,
because the only thing I'm gonna say is if Steph
Curry tells them I'm playing tonight, there's no way to
tell him. I don't disagree with you. I don't decide
unless you're really injured or something. But I know I'm
not doing that because because ant Man's played all of
his games and you led me to where I wanted

(24:10):
to go with this. What brings me hope, Good brother Parker,
was that live? That a run there? Just looked up? Uh,
sacrifice fly, sacrifice fly three to one, Blue Jay's up
top of the fourth and now one out. But but
Hernandez misplayed that ball into a triple. You gotta let
that ball, you see, You're gonna let that ball drop
in front of you and not dive because he couldn't

(24:31):
catch what I call him rob g the best version
of peak Oscar. But to get this real point off then,
and I want you jump in. What brings me hope
is this next crop of players you brought up, ant Man.
Ant Man has made it known I'm probably playing ain't
none of this. I'm playing eighty two, I'm playing forty
plus minutes. I'm young. I'm in shape less ball, wimby

(24:54):
less ball. A bunch of these young guys coming in
the league. Let's ball. We are here to And I
think it's because money's no longer a thing for them,
because it's been so huge they know no other way
like the money is making the money is making the
money's big, So for them, they're right. The other thing
is balling. I want to be that guy, ain't none
of this. Well, I'm a wait around. Feel good, let

(25:15):
me get an extra week and well, let's just wait
till the playoffs. Man, I'm balling. I don't care if
it's game one, game forty one, game eighty two, let's go.
And that gives me hope that there's a competitive edge.
And last point, we saw that in the postseason. Rob
got a lot of guys wanting to play, pushing, shoving,
getting into a caring again. I feel like carry and
pride is coming back, and it makes me excited and

(25:37):
happy and optimistic. But I will say this that NBC,
I love the idea of trying to get a big
start yep, and we capture what happened in the nineties
right with Michael Jordan and the whole NBC. I get
all of that and what they've trying to do, trying
to do. They got Bob Costas doing the intros like

(25:57):
they've gone all the way out to try to get
this right. But I'm disappointed in the mg MJ segments
in that everything's like a throwback. He's not talking about
the current players. Come on, man, get give me. I
want to hear Michael Jordan's perspective about what he's seeing
with the current players. Now it looks like, and maybe

(26:20):
I'm wrong, I'll be wrong and it'll give some fresh interviews.
But it looks like he sat down, did a big
interview and they're just cutting pieces and they're gonna play
that every Michael Jordan appearance rather than something fresh and
new or something I want to hear. Okay, Michael Jordan

(26:40):
was involved in you know, was there some gambling or whatever? No,
I know, I know you want to go here, but
it would have been interested in the heat, like like
Mike when you played the idea of gambling being legal,
just the just the thought of that. Do you think that?

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Do you know?

Speaker 1 (27:01):
There are some questions there that I would like to
hear what he what he thinks, and what how that
would have changed anything. That's a great point. And what
I hope doesn't happen is what you just said that
they don't sit down with him every once a month,
or maybe they did it already. You know, I don't know,
you know what I'm saying, but you sit down with
him once a month and you and I, you know,
I do TV every day, You do TV all the time.

(27:22):
I hope they're not having these pre production meetings with him.
We knock, got an interview, and then we just take
every week, we take one slippet from it. This week,
we're going to focus on it. This week, we're and
then they just reair. Because what I was holding because
even the load management is out of left field, It
wasn't based off of something. Now, if you had a
player who came out and said so just so, who
just didn't play for a couple of games, like recently

(27:45):
in the first week or something, then that's the perfect
to say, hey, I don't know who. We could have
said Joel Embiid hasn't played three games or whatever. They
kind of rest or whatever. But you get your point,
and then have Michael Jordan speak on that on Joe
ellenb It just came out. Here's a topic that's always

(28:06):
a topic, Mike. Let's just throw this out to the blue.
I think he What will be cool is to see
him talking about current players. What will be cool to
see him sit down with a player and talk to
a guy say, hey, man, you know everybody always thinks
about me as air Jordan, But really I was killing
people with fundamentals in the mid range, and now I'm
sitting here with a young player who's you know, all
about his mid range game. I'm sitting here with that player.

(28:28):
I'm sitting here with Kawhi. Kawhi, why is it both
of us have big hands in the mid range? Do
something like that? Like, well, that would be boring, Jordan,
Kawhi would be terribly boring. But you know what I mean,
like that kind of a thing. What's it like, like
how everybody goes to a king post up school during
the summer to be a lot of people go to
that sit down with Jordan? What's it like to be
on the block? Yes, gee, Shay, ask him exactly? Great example?

(28:52):
Is he a player from the nineties a throwback? Was
he a guy that you faced?

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Like?

Speaker 1 (28:57):
Why has he had so much success against these guys
when he plays more like during the style that you play,
tell me about his game that those are the things
that we should be set him down with ant Man, Seriously,
that would be hilarious. Don't two very confident talks? Matt
and obviously the whole father's son as Michael Jordan's don't don't,
don't waste. Mike tells us what I just think back
in my day, you just got to like I don't

(29:19):
want to know. I want to hear him ant man
and on the gym walk and talk all right, what
you go. I'm trying to get like you man, you
know that, all right? And but you know you got
That's what I want to hear him breaking down stuff
like not just him doing him getting not us, you
know what I mean. Don't give us the you know,
the editor on the floor, the cut it, the cut scenes.
Don't give us the cut scenes from last dance. No,

(29:41):
don't give us the one that edit it. See like, oh,
just bring that and give that to him
