g is our producer. And look at Rob G. He
wears my favorite Odd Couple uh jacket. You see what

(04:30):
he got on there, that Jordan and the Jordan maroon
in the maroons, that wine Burgundy. Yeah, all right, Alex
is our engineer.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Let go, that's it.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Steve the Seger's at the anchor date Steve. He'll keep
us updated throughout the program.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
And never heard of them also, and never of our
social media guru.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Hey, Rob g, Uh jump in here, because there was
a big trade. There were a number of trades, but
a big trade in the NFL today involving your former team,
the New York Jetropolitans and the Indianapolis Colts who snuck
away from Baltimore in the middle of the night. I'm

(05:17):
just saying, I'll never forget watching the then mayor of
Baltimore out there crying as the moving trucks.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Wasn't the stuff real middle.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Of the night, no lie go YouTube it, and that's
how they snuck out. It was the middle of the night.
They loaded up the trucks and all the equipment and left.
So Baltimore was a thief in the night. No Indianapolis.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Oh when they went to Yeah, when Baltimore left to
the guy.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, when they left Baltimore and whatnot. But rob g
there was a major trade.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
That's right.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
Fresh off a Daniel Jones performance. He threw three interceptions
and fumbled three times, losing twice. The culture like, we've
seen enough, this is the guy moving forward. We're gonna
trade two future first round picks to get a defensive
back former all pro slip a little bit recently, but

(06:11):
very good. Nonetheless, Sauce Gardener from the New York Jetropolitans.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Sauce going to the Colts.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
So does that mean that Jets are going boneless wings?

Speaker 10 (06:20):
Now?

Speaker 7 (06:20):
I have to They're going bone dry wings. Here we go,
They're going they were butt naked wings. Sauce Gardner again
to the Colts. Colts sending two first round picks back
to the Jets.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
All right, Carrie, is this on?

Speaker 2 (06:34):
That thing is on? It's hot, It's hot. It's hot,
Rob the Colts. What are you doing? Are you crazy?
My sugar?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Though you're buying into Daniel Jones. You think you got
a chance to do something, win a Super Bowl or
make some run.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Have you seen him against the good teams? I've seen
him against the bad teams. The good teams not so good.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
He's coming off of god awful three fumbles, three interceptions,
Danny Dimes?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Are you kidding me? More like Danny Pennies.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
And if I had to touch his performance from Sunday.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
I'd have to wash my hand.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Daniel Jones is a three dollar bill, plain and simple.
He will not get you where you want. You're kidding yourself.
You're mortgaging like you got a chance to come out
of the AFC and you got some magical formula. Let's
go and let's load up, and we're going to buy

(07:45):
into Daniel Jones. You have to understand he was available
for a reason. No, you didn't look up as the
Minnesota Vikings, who had a number believable year with Sam
Ronald McDonald.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
And then the playoff game came right the last game
of the season against the Lions to win the division,
which makes a big difference between playing on a playing
a road playoff game or or having to buy and
host in the next round.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's a huge game. What the bed?

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Then the playoff game? What the bed? And they decided, okay,
you know what, thanks and Daniel Jones.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
The best I can do.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Is maybe maybe look at him and think, this is
what they did in Seattle when they grabbed uh, when
they went and they decided that they were gonna get
Gino's pizza, and they thought that that was gonna turn

(08:56):
their fortunes around.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
And guess what he played well first year.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Look at him now, he was so great they couldn't
they moved on, made a trade, right and look at
where he is in in Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Vegas.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
Yeah, if you feel.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Honestly like you have something going and you want to
load up, I understand the thinking, Yes I do. But Carrie,
I'm sorry, I'm not giving up the future for Daniel Jones.
When the two toughest teams he played he played awful against,
and go look at who they've beaten. That's why I

(09:36):
have an issue with it. You will not be playing
bad teams in the postseason.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Right, all right?

Speaker 9 (09:42):
If this was the rant when the season started and
they took and they took sauce, and they did all
this before the season started.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I'd agree with you.

Speaker 9 (09:51):
Right now, the Coats are the number one team in AFC.
They haven't had any success in years they've tasted success.
Daniel Jones has been great except for this last week.
I'm gonna side on the on the side of it
was an aberration last week. He's not gonna play like that.

(10:12):
He's gonna play better. He has another MVP candidate in
the backfield to take some of the pressure off of
Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
If you're the Colts, this is the right move.

Speaker 9 (10:21):
You go out, you go get some players that can
come in and really get this thing rolling in the
direction you want. And specifically this year, there are no
top seeds in AFC. That's a guaranteed to win a championship.
This year and past years we knew the players were
This year, we have no idea. Right now, they're number
one in AFC. Daniel Jones is playing well, and before

(10:43):
the season started I thought he was. I thought he
was gonna be a backup in Indianapolis in his career.
Is gonna be over the resurgence that he's had this year,
The way he's played, the way he's looked sans last
week has just been remarkable.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Rob. So I'm not with you on this take.

Speaker 9 (10:59):
I think the Coats going out to get a guy
like Gardner to come in both of that defense and
going to.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
The AFC Championship carrying. Are they I'm asking you, what
do you mean are they? Are they going to the
FC Championship game? They have a good team. What are
you asking me?

Speaker 6 (11:14):
I'm asking you, are they going?

Speaker 2 (11:16):
They? Just you got Daniel.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
Johns, you got the Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Right, and you got you got Tyler Warren and you
got Sauce Gardener?

Speaker 6 (11:24):
Now, right?

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Are they going to the a f C Championship Game
the Colts? No, that that's yes.

Speaker 8 (11:30):
No.

Speaker 9 (11:31):
I can't answer that because I don't know. You're not
putting me on the spot. And yes, because I don't
know you because I don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Can't mean right now, can't means unable to ca on
the air, ro listen, can't means unable to You are
not pressing me to say the Coasts are going to
right now?

Speaker 9 (11:49):
Making the move or bringing in Sauce and giving away
two first round picks that don't mean nothing. Right now
is the move for the Coats to go out and
try to win this thing?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
So are they are? Their minds and their heart's in
the right place, Rob.

Speaker 9 (12:01):
Yes, I'm gonna say that, but I'm gonna let you
make the poculamation that they're not going.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
So you're saying they're not going, and I'll give you this.
You ready, all right, let's go. When they played the
two best teams, What.

Speaker 9 (12:12):
Two best teams you're talking about? They beat the Broncos,
they beat the Chargers. Who else are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (12:16):
I'm talking about against the Rams and the steal, Well,
the Rams wasn't his fault.

Speaker 9 (12:22):
They had the receiver fumble the ball in the end
zone when it had a chance to win. That's nice that.

Speaker 6 (12:26):
We could do that all day.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
If you want to do that, I could give you
every game and say if that didn't happen, to have
that didn't have if Marshawn Lynch would have got.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
The ball to goal lines, No, we could do that.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
We could do that all the time.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
All right. What you got and the losses two.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Touchdowns, five interceptions, and he had three fumbles this past week.
He was okay, it was really really bad. And then
Rob g can you go over to the teams that
he's beaten, like, I'm just there.

Speaker 9 (12:57):
They beat the Chargers, they beat the Broncos, who are
two teams that are in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Who else did they beat? When he loaded up? They
got all these numbers.

Speaker 7 (13:04):
He beat the Dolphins, Okay, beat the Broncos by one point.
You mentioned that. Okay, be the Titans by three scores.
There you go, terrible, beat the Raiders by thirty four.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
You go, this is a.

Speaker 7 (13:17):
Beat the Cardinals by four, it's a it's a mara
the Chargers by fourteen, by fourteen, and then beat the
Titans by twenty four.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
It's it's a mirage. Carry listen to those teams. I know,
I hear it.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
That's uh that That is the worst of the worst.
This is where you lower yourself into being like, oh,
well we're good this year. No, you're not the Indianapolis Colts.
You deserve what you get from buying into Daniel Jones.
You know what, Daniel Jones gonna take you home dinner,

(13:49):
maybe a show, but it won't be the AFC Championship Game.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine off Fox.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Are you with Carrie Rhoads. Are you buying into Damdaniel Jones,
I'm not. He's fool gayzy. He's a three dollar bill.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
If I shook his hand, I'd have to check and
see if I had all five fingers when I pulled back.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I'm not buying any of it. I've seen his career.
He didn't just show up.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
He's got so much bad video and games.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
There's not enough space on the Internet to take.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
A look at it.

Speaker 2 (14:24):

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I know, I know.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
So we're talking about the Colts. They make a move,
they they double down on Daniel Jones. They think they're
going to the super Bowl or something, the AFC Championship Game.
Lest trade everybody, Okay, ain't nothing happened in Indianapolis except
for shrimp cocktail at Saint el mol Is A good Yeah,
that's like what they're known for, all right, eight seven,

(16:57):
seven ninety nine on Fox, we want to hear from you.
Are you with Carrie Rose? He's buying this. I'm not
buying it, not one bit. I think they made a
huge mistake. And you know, doubling down on Danny Dimes,
buying into him.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Well look, let's see. Let's see what these callers got
to say.

Speaker 8 (17:14):
Rob.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
We got Jeremy from Long Beach. You're on with the
Odd Couple. How you doing, brother, Jeremy, Jeremy there, what's up?

Speaker 10 (17:23):
I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm doubling down. I
went Carrie Rose, Rob Parker, stop it. I wish I
called during trash talking time man, because you wouldn't be
able to interrupt. I wouldn't have to hear your mouth.
But man, Quinn hate on my Indianapolis coach. You always
come in with these narratives. Rob, you always got the pushback. Man,

(17:44):
Danny Dimes, Indiana Jones, whatever you want to call him.
He out there balling. One bad weekend doesn't make a
bad season. Get me sauce, sawt Phield got the sauce.
She's gonna be motivated in it in Indianapolis. And I
don't care about a first or are you talking about it?

Speaker 4 (18:01):
He now feels like he got banished to NFL Siberia
going to the.

Speaker 10 (18:05):
Colt Tiberia Vegas Raiders Indianapolis Coat. We got the addition
we answering James Marshall, faulk Man, tell him.

Speaker 11 (18:17):
Jeremy, tell him Jarren, Jeremy. We don't want to hear
about that. All right, okay, all right? Eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox. Oh we got Tony from Detroit.
You're on with the okable man. How are you?

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I mean?

Speaker 5 (18:29):
I'm good man about yourself?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
What's up? Tony?

Speaker 10 (18:33):
Hey?

Speaker 12 (18:33):
Look I'm a double down man, because look I'm not
even a coach fan.

Speaker 10 (18:38):
But rod Man, you gotta be honest.

Speaker 12 (18:39):
Daniel Jones did win a playoff game with the Giants
on the road.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Against the worst against the worst defense, that was the
Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Hold on, I'm.

Speaker 6 (18:49):
Gonna let you talk. I just want to.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
He had two three hundred yard games that year, both
against the Vikings. He won that playoff game, and that year,
in seventeen games, he had fifteen.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Touchdown Dude, he was not good. Okay, he was not good.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
All right, Well I never said he was good.

Speaker 10 (19:08):
Said what the revault was.

Speaker 12 (19:10):
And at the end of the day, the coach have
the weakest or one of the weakest schedules left the
remaining in the AFC this year, and they already we
got seven wins, so there's a good chance they finished
with the one seed. And you're telling me that they
can't win if they get a favorable matchup that one
game to get to the AFC Championship game at home.
Just be realistic there, no.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Because they're not going to have the number one seed.
They're not eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. All right,
we got Big Lou from the Bronx. You're on with
theup How are you doing, man? What's up, Big Lou?

Speaker 8 (19:43):
What's up? What's up? Guys? What's up? Guys? Love the show?

Speaker 6 (19:46):
Thank you, buddy, Bob.

Speaker 8 (19:48):
I've double lid down with Rob Parker. I'm dooked down
with Bob Parker. I'm putting all the shuckles of Rob
Parker right now.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Watching Big Lou. Watch it, big you, big Glue. You
know that.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
You watch Daniel Jones in New York, Man, they act
like he just showed up and nobody knows what he's done.
He's got a resume and you know what it smells.
He has a resume.

Speaker 8 (20:14):
And what's what's gonna happen when after they play the
Falcons they go to Kansas City to play the Chiefs.

Speaker 9 (20:22):
I'm with you, I know, Biglue, what's gonna happen going
to Kansas didn't win that game?

Speaker 8 (20:27):
All right?

Speaker 6 (20:28):
There we go.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
Yeah, they ain't going anywhere. Go ahead, give up, give
up the future, just trade everybody. Yeah, Daniel Jones, the
guy that the Giants also thought we should get rid
of Saquon Barkley because that's the guy right now. Okay,
and that and those are the guys. Now look at
where the Giants are. What happened to that franchise because
they also put in on Daniel Jones.

Speaker 6 (20:55):
They did.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
They said that he was the guy that they wanted
to keep in sign. The crazy part, Robi is I
would agree with you before this season. So everything you're
saying I am on border with. But right now, in
this moment, I'm just looking at the whole landscape. It's
not about Daniel Jones person, but it is for me.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
I know. That's what I'm here like.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
That's the problem is I've seen this, Like I was
there with Sam Darnold. I saw the season that he
had for the Viking and I was out even before.
I was like when he lost that game to the Lions,
and then I told Kelvin I'm out.

Speaker 6 (21:30):
And the Vikings did not bring him back.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
You can't.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
There's not too many quarterbacks who got put together the
season that he had and not get a contrast, right,
it said something about him because I don't care about
Oh well they had JJ McCarthy. No, No, because they
Matt Flynn got signed by Seattle, Russell Wilson came in.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
What happened, Yeah, Russell Wilson won the job.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
Exactly because if you knew you had something.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
You grab him.

Speaker 6 (21:54):
You don't even think about JJ McCarty. What this guy's
gonna take us to the super Bowl?

Speaker 2 (21:58):
All right?

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Anyway, coming up from Salam will get his thoughts on
this as well. You know, the football players will probably
side with each other. But that's okay. But first let's
get your caught ups case de Sega can do.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
That for you.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm Eastern,
four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (22:21):
Those are some big numbers, right, my goodness, gracious.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
And then I was looking at it when you count
eleven million in Canada and then Japan, Steve, can.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
You check this?

Speaker 4 (22:33):
They said that twenty one million people watched in Japan.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
Is that that? That can't be accurate?

Speaker 2 (22:39):
It probably all right?

Speaker 6 (22:42):
Just you have you see that, Steve?

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I looked.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
I saw something that said twenty one million?

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Is that for Game seven?

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Yeah? For Game seven?

Speaker 13 (22:49):
I know through the first five if you add up
to three countries, it was twenty eight million total was
the average with the three total this was twenty seven
million US alone, right, I know?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
On US team, which.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Is unbelievable, right because it's not like half of the.

Speaker 13 (23:04):
Penels and TVs. There's no survey going with the Canadian homes.
It's like when Golden State would play the NBA Finals
against Cleveland, great ratings and Golden State against Toronto good ratings.

Speaker 6 (23:14):
Right, but not great? All right, let's welcome in a man.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
It is the odd couple of Rob Parker carry Rhoades
in for Calvin Washington. Let's bring in e from Salam
of course, former NFL offensive lineman. Fox Sports Radio weekend
host from What's Up? Say hi to carry What's up?

Speaker 5 (23:32):
What's It's NFL Trade Day and the Coats pushed all
in on Daniel Jones.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
I'm not buying it.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
I don't believe in Daniel Jones, Daniel Dimes, Danny Dimes,
Danny Pennies, whatever. I'm not there. From Where are you
are they going to the AFC Championship game?

Speaker 6 (23:54):
The Colts?

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Look, I think that the Colts are one of the
top teams.

Speaker 8 (23:59):
In the league.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Right. One game doesn't determine if you're a good team
or not. If that's the I mean, people still think
Kansas City Chiefs are gonna win the Super Bowl and
not me. They struggling trying to win regular season games.
But when you look at what the coat, the pressure,
the amount of pressure they put on you offensively with

(24:20):
that running game with Taylor and then that passing game,
you have to take them serious. We're halfway through the
season right now. You have to take them serious. And
if you don't, you're gonna run into a bus. So
I've been saying that. So I'm all on board of
the Indiana Jones led Indianapolis Coat.

Speaker 9 (24:42):
Apen, What do you stand with if you were an
NFL GM, you feel like, you know, you hadn't had
success in a while. Now you're in that mix, and
especially in this year. This year, I think it's wide
opening AFC. So as far as putting the chips in,
I agree with. What do you stand with the two
first round picks?

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Though?

Speaker 9 (24:58):
Do you think that was you think that it was
a good trade as far as value goes between the
two teams.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
Well, I think so, because you gotta if you're talking
about right now, you gotta get help now. And so
if you're if you're talking about, I think we can
do some things right now being those picks. In the future,
you may not be there.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
All right, Wait a minute, Yeah, so you're you're putting
in all your chips on a guy who was on
a scrap heap that nobody wanted.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
No, I'm serious, because if that was the case.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
And ephrom you helped me out, the Minnesota Vikings would
have resigned Sam Darnold. Okay, they would have said, oh,
wait a minute, we rescued him. He came to town,
he led us to fourteen wins or whatever it was,
we made the playoffs or whatever. And they didn't even
think twice not to because when the big games came around,

(25:55):
he wasn't there.

Speaker 6 (25:56):
And all I'm saying is, Daniel Jones, you're gonna fall
all for it again. The Giants did it.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Hey, who do you keep?

Speaker 6 (26:04):
You keep Sakwan or you keep Daniel Jones?

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Oh no, Daniel Jones won us a playoff game against Minnesota,
and they gave him a big contract and they and
they kept and they kept him.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
You're right, But let me tell you the difference in
those two scenarios. The difference is the Minnesota Vikings drafted
a first round quarterback with the first pick in the draft.
They were in a situation that they didn't expect from
Sam Darnold to become who he was for them last year.
Were they fourteen and three last year? The yeah, they didn't.

(26:38):
They didn't know that that was going to happen like that.
So at the end of the season they offered Sam,
but they wanted them to stay, but there were bigger
money and bigger opportunities elsewhere, so they couldn't bring him
in because they're still trying to even today. They're not
sure about JJ McCarthy. They don't know if he's the
right guy.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
He looked pretty good against the Lions this past week.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
What he did, he did he needed.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
And he was a huge win.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
That saved your season.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
That saved the season and and saved him you know
what I mean.

Speaker 10 (27:11):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
And in the eyes of who they think he could
be as a player. But to get back to Indy,
there is no first round draft pick or or you know,
on the roster, there is no this thing. They have
an opportunity right now to make noise in a division
where they can clearly win. We all thought Houston would
be the team in that division. Uh, but it's it's Indianapolis.

(27:34):
They could mess around and get the one seed and
have a bye and you know the road through the
the AFC goes through Indy. You most certainly give up
those picks to capitalize on this moment right now?

Speaker 4 (27:49):
Will Indianapolis coach being an a championshire we go yes,
yes or no?

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (27:55):
Okay, there you go?

Speaker 8 (27:57):
Yeah yeah, good, we got that.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
We got it on. He tried to get me.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
I was like, I'm gonna wait on that.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
Let's all I want to know.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
All right, let me ask you about a the Dallas Cowboys,
and then about Tyler Murray, Kyler Murray and what's going
on with the with the Arizona. But the Cowboys at
home against not even the Arizona starting quarterback, right, they're terrible,
like just bad.

Speaker 6 (28:25):
What do you make of what's happening with the Cowboys?

Speaker 5 (28:28):
I think the Cowboys are a product of their hype.
I think the Cowboys coming into the season weren't a
very good team. Offensively. We knew once they got hold
they'd be able to put up some points. But it's
kind of like what we thought Cincinnati would be be
able to score a bunch of points, especially if Joe
Burrow was healthy with the two headed receivers that they have,

(28:50):
But defensively, we knew, Look, you're gonna have to score
thirty eight forty points a game to win with that
type of defense. And when they got rid of Michael Parsons,
they were letting you know, hey, we're going to rely
heavily on our offense to get it done. And they
forgot to tell the rest of the league, Hey, don't
forget don't bring your defense with you, you know. And

(29:13):
so when you watch that game, and you watched Arizona
come out there and attack Dak Prescott and that offensive line,
it made him impossible for them to run the ball
and made it impossible for Dak to get comfortable back there.
This is just a blueprint of what's about to happen
to the Dallas Cowboys moving forward.

Speaker 9 (29:32):
Hey, from I got in that same game, there was
you know, there were rumors that even if Colin Murray
was healthy, that they would have went with Jacobe Brissett.
And then today to actually say I'm moving forward Jacoby Brissett'
then they coached no, no, they just said it today.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
But then they just doubled back.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Right, the reporters asked him what he said one thing
on the radio and then right Rob g and then
he said, Uh, that Kyle is heard he used that as.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
The reason why he's not starting.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Okay, but he did he did say it said and
then he just when the reporters asked me, changed it,
of course.

Speaker 9 (30:06):
Because he's a franchise guy. But I think I think
Kyler's done in my opinion, Man, I don't like santabout players,
but I think this is it for him in Arizona.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Anyway.

Speaker 9 (30:14):
Do you think there's another chance that he has another opportunity,
opportunity on another team or what do you see with
Kyler Murray's future.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
Well, I definitely think he has an opportunity to play elsewhere.
Whether he's done in Arizona or not. It depends on
how much of that that dead cap hit they want
to swallow. Not everybody had the fortitude and the will
to eat that type of dead cap money, like the
we saw the Denver Broncos, right right, Not everybody has,

(30:44):
you know, it's willing to bet that on Jacoby Brett. Now,
if they had a young, you know quarterback who who
was up and coming and all of that, uh, and
they were shocked in the world. Maybe, But Jacoby Prett
has been a yeoman backup in this league. He never
came into the league as a start, he wasn't a
high round draft pick. It's kind of like a journeyman backup.

(31:07):
So if you're willing to bet your job and your
career on that, the more power to them. I believe
Arizona and the new coaching staff that didn't draft Kyler
Murray and the GM who didn't draft Kyler Murray never
were sold on them in the first place, and they're
not going to die on that cross. They are going

(31:27):
to make radical decisions to help the team win. And
now that conversation with ownership is different if you've squeaked
into the playoffs and you've made a run, no matter
who's at the quarterback position. And I think that's what
their position in themselves to do.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
All right, Thanks ay from Man. We appreciate it. Thanks
for the knowled appreciate ja yep, thank you.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Jannis just doesn't get it. I'll explain next. It is

Speaker 6 (33:12):
The way tire buying should be. Carry Rhodes.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
You're a former NFL player and sometimes I think players
lose sight and don't understand fans. But I'm gonna take
I want this to be.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Is this on.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
This is a public service announcement for Yannis Yannis who
was so upset that Miles Turner was booed.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Right? Can we hear this sound from Giannis? I know
it's support, don't understand, but like it's.

Speaker 5 (33:49):
Obviously he's gonna as much as I don't know if
he's gonna say, but he's gonna go back home and
he's gonna be like, Okay, ten years.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
Just went down to day. And that's not fair for
anybody that gave ten years to the game. In ten
years for the basis all right.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
So he's blaming the fans for bowie Miles turn overturn
after playing ten years, he took a bigger contract, went
to Milwaukee. Okay, but Giannis, I'm sorry, and a lot
of players you don't understand. The word fan is derived
from the word fanatic. So people are fanatical about you,
about their team. They've invested their time and their energy,

(34:29):
and it's because of that that they react that way.
Carry Okay, it's not because they didn't, it's because they
invested ten years in him. They went to the NBA
Finals last year and then a piece of their team
is now going with the other team.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
Okay, and I get it. You can do whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
But to not understand why fans boo and get disappointed.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
It's their right.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
It's why they wear your jersey with their with your
name on their back.

Speaker 6 (35:01):
It's why they care.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
It's why when they lose their team or their player
loses the game, they cry or have a miserable day
or don't want to watch TV or read the paper.
They're fanatics. That's what fans are. If they were luke
warm and didn't care whether you played for them, or
to buy your jersey or to go to the games,

(35:25):
then they wouldn't care, right and they wouldn't have If
you go ahead, who cares?

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Do whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
So every time I hear these big babies about fans booing,
somebody stop it. Okay, understand the fans care. They're fanatical
about the situation. It's not gonna be with reason. There's
no reason involved for a grown man to cry over

(35:54):
a game. Did you see all the grown men crying
in Toronto when the Blue Jays lost? That had nothing
to do with their lives.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Nothing right. They got families, jobs, grown men.

Speaker 9 (36:08):
Well, Rob, I'll just say, can they direct that to
the GM and the owner a little bit as well?
Or is there any appreciation for that player that played the.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
Tame, appreciated him they cheered for for ten years.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Enough you left, You get polled.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
Accepted, and cash your check at the next bank.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
How's that
