ninety nine on Fox for you layman guys who can't
do the numbers and letters together forty eight seven seven
six sixty three sixty nine. And if you hear feedback
on the line, it's your own fault. It means only
one thing. You forgot to turn down the radio. And

(02:05):
if you call any here and have a problem with
what me a Kelvin say to you, tough, because well

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I ran up out of there though, So I'm just saying,
if some doors, you know, you get Tobamon on the
doors or something FBI you know, might be your boy man,
come my day.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Have been more patriotic voted jury duty selection. I was
an American.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I was an American yesterday, America all day.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I set up there Rob for nine hours.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
It was like somebody who who didn't have game with
the ladies nine hours and didn't get selected.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Literally just that said they didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I'm surprised that they just didn't let you go immediately
when they found out.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
What you did.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
And I wonder, so I said that in the act
the other job, and everyone, Oh, no, they'll they'll still
choose you now because so many people have gotten I
think COVID oh on my job situation has been a
lot of stuff nowadays that they're desperate to get people.
And so when I thought the same thing, you thought,
all they'll do I'm a I'm a news anchor, I
do a national radio show. They'll be like, nah, we

(03:22):
can't have them. Maybe that's why it was part of
the extras. It was about if there were one hundred
plus people give it tell your hundred and twenty or something.
It was about thirty of us twenty five that just
sat all day. We were the extras, And if a
judge said, hey, I need a new pool of jurors,
they would have gotten us.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
But they didn't.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
So I would have said, all I'm gonna tell you
is I know when somebody's guilty, all I gotta do
is look at it.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Right off the bat. They'll be like, next, next, listen.
They're so desperate they might be like, all right, cool,
can you start? Can you start Wednesday? That's what I hey,
that's what I Have you ever served?

Speaker 4 (03:52):
I've gotten out of it, Yeah, because it's always for me.
When I was covering to the NBA and New York
and I went before the and I just said, I'm
a beat writer and I travel with the team.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
It's just not a good time for me to come,
you know what I mean? Now and and in the
off season.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
He's all right, when the season's over, he says, but
you're covering the New Jersey nests.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
In reality, there's seasons already over. Judge.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
He was right bad back then in those days. So
all right, so much to do, so little time. Let's
welcome in the odd couple crew, because we wouldn't be
able to do this fine radio program without him. Rob
g is p Rob's all slicked out today. You know,
got the jacket.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
He's got a nice jacket on, his hair, slicked back,
his watch, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Watch on the toehead hold on. Let me find out
Costco hired somebody.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
And U, of course Alex is our engineer. Monsie is
at the anchor desk. She'll keep us updated throughout the program,
and don't forget.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
A lot wh Guru.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
And I'm gonna mention Bow, okay, because Bo is one
of the biggest Dodger fans in this build. No, And
I'm just it was when I walked in, Bo was
like in the door, and I was like, I didn't
want to brush up against him because I think he's
still excited about the time settle.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
He gets a little ed commercial now everybody all excited,
a little ead fixed huh.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
And now everybody, just what are you passing about like skittles?
You got a tissue for me? What are you doing now?
Everybody walking around excited?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Bo?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
No, Bo is still look at him. He's here. I
ain't gonna lie. I've been knowing Bowl a little bit now,
and this is the glow I've never seen. This is
a glow.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
He didn't have this glow when the baby, even when
they won in twenty twenty, like this one was it?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
If you were am I right?

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Bow?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Just give me a thumbs up. I know Bow's usually super.
What's up? Man? What up? What up? Telling what?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
I had to squeeze my way into that about you
and squeezing okay, nothing about you and all right, sick.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
You're talking about people excited and there eating people's eating
men's buns.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
This is getting carried away for over forty years, let's
change subject. Tire Rack has been helping customers find the
right one, the right tires, I should say, for how,
what and where they drive ship fast and free back
by free road has a protection and convenient installation options
like mobile tire installation where they you know, bring it
to you.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Bring it to your or your job or your home.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be,
Rob G.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Let's get skip right to it. Uh.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Draymond Green has a I guess this is a football podcast.
So Draymond Green has a football podcast.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
Aptly titled why is Draymond Green? Talking about football? Straight
to the point, with the title Yes, where you go?
Why there's your There's there's yours?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
And he made a little uh, he made some way,
made some waves.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Co host with friend of the show, Jordan Schultz, they
do a football podcast.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Shout Jordan, I've never missed that podcast. I know, just
like no one misses inside the party.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Pretty quiet, Rob, But anyway, Rob G, what we've been
doing inside the part for six years, you still doing
why you disrespected our pod because.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
We're in the off season now, so I don't gotta
worry about it.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Today was the last one, so he feels good now. Yeah,
after twenty six.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Maybe that's why I came in flying, That's why he
came in off night jacket hair, slick back.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
No more that one, at least for six months. I
gotta just deal with Jason mctyre. Yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
So the Draymond Podcast new episode has even dropp yet.
This is just the teaser for the next episode. Thing
it comes out tomorrow. Was talking about Dak Prescott and
he has some choice words for the Cowboys quarterback.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Take listen, Dark's Oh, Dak's.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
Not a boom.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
He's an MVP candidate.

Speaker 8 (07:58):
Yeah, that's fine, getting some numbers and they stink Doc's
a bum.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
He's not a bumb dog. He's a quarterback. No, he's
a bum. They'll never win with that.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
You're too smart and you know too much about football
to say Dak Prescott's a bomb.

Speaker 8 (08:12):
I won four championships, Jordan, so you gonna understand when
I say bum, I'm not saying Dak Prescott isn't a
good NFL quarterback.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Of course he's a good NFL quarterback.

Speaker 8 (08:21):
I'm not saying that, but I'm saying, when the money's
on the line, when it's for all the marbles, who
are you he a bum?

Speaker 7 (08:28):
I totally disagree.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I totally What has he done in those moments? Been
a bum? He is? If he's not a bomb in.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
The moments Jordan, when they had their best team, best
offensive line, to league, they had all.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
That to get to playoff, sit here a bum? But
the story isn't fully written yet.

Speaker 8 (08:43):
This is pretty written because now he's making sixty five
million dollars and it's way harder to win. You gotta
be so like Patty Mahome's good to be like that
highly paid and still go win like that's a very
hard thing to do.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Like it's over us.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
I just these are the podcasts you're listening to. I'm
dead serious. And this is a public service announcement to
all sports fans out there.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Is it on? We got you turn these podcasts off?

Speaker 4 (09:15):
And Draymond with this new media crap, new media crap,
my ass, he's a total hypocrite. Because if it was
a journalist or somebody give it saying that about Dak.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
It would be the end of the world to call
him a bomb.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
If you want to make the point Kelvin and break
down that beating good teams or on the road and
give me some numbers and facts to get up there
and say that Dak Prescott.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Is a is a bum.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
It was like Shady McCoy on FS one who called
him ass on the air. Dude, really, and you guys
are professional athletes who know what it takes to make
it to that level and to perform right, there's no
reason stop listening to these guys. Draymond Green new media, No,

(10:08):
Draymond Green, untrained, unsophisticated, under researched. It ain't about just
your feelings on somebody.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
And then to use the money thing.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Really, really, if that was somebody else saying Draymond Green
don't deserve that, it would be like, oh, what a
talented black man can't earn money playing basketball, That's what
he would say.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
And instead here he is.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
I'm not a Dak Prescott fan, and I'm talking about
like thinking that he's gonna win you all the Super Bowls.
But I'm gonna give you reasons why, facts, numbers, figures.
This is just off the cuff bs embarrassing new media.

(10:58):
He's the one criticized as in the people are the
debate shows and all this, they got an opinion, they
even play and all this stuff. And they have then
the audacity to disrespect Dak Prescott and say he's a bum.
And then you know what I hate, use the flimsy qualifiers.

(11:20):
First he calls him a bomb Kelvin. Then he goes, well,
you know I'm saying he can't play. What you what
is a bomb? You can't what is a bumb?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
You can't say? Oh, I just say he's not a
good NFL quarterback? Well, what's a bomb? A bum means
the worst of the worst.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Come on, man, dude, turn off these podcasts. If people
aren't gonna talk to you a sports fan and give
you some real analysis, tell me why it's not enough
just to have an opinion based on what. Why don't

(12:00):
you like something? Why don't you like this player? Give
me examples based on what? If you can't answer that question,
you don't have an opinion, not a valid one.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I'm so tired new media. Ain't no new media.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
It's guys pretending like they're something different, or like they
have some inside story. Draymond didn't give me anything for
me to believe that he knows anything about the National
Football League.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
And not to mention you just said on something to me,
if you felt he was a bump, then you gotta
ride that out. You can't be immediately do one eighty
and say why I'm not saying he's not a good
quarterback that Jordan Jordan is a friend of hers, showed.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Us my guy. But like that's when you gotta go
at him.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
You can't be that close, meaning it can't be why
I'm not saying you's good. You can say he's had
some bad playoff performances and didn't say remember the game
against the Packers that had a great twelve and five
seeds and I thought they were gonna be able to
go to Super Bowl And it is cool, cool, But
the idea you can't say simply an MVP candidate now
looks like again potentially this year as well, is a

(13:10):
bum that doesn't even make sense. A guy who's been
twelve and five multiple times, bum that doesn't make sense.
And to add to a point, you were making that
to me, if you're gonna now be a part of
the media, then you have to find other vernacular, different verbiage,
because toded that's what a guy like a Draymond will
be made. Fans just go say somebody's a bum without

(13:31):
doing you would say that about a fan or a
sports media guy if they had that about somebody, because you.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Would say, what would he say? Look at that slumber?

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Forty touchdowns, five six interception stood when you him can
gotta be a pro bowler?

Speaker 2 (13:44):
How can it be a bum? Twelve and five multi?
How can it be?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
You would say that if I just came on and
said you were a bumm because you aged a single
triple I mean a triple single, You.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
You would say, then you don't get the context for champion.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
You're the way he said, I not the Warriors, and.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
As you're all right, And this is the trouble with
I do believe Draymond has been in a winning coacher.
He's had a bunch of championships. They've been a bunch
of finals. How many championships they win in Michigan State
they win? And so Steph wasn't on that team. And
so to me, you going where I was gonna go?
If Draymond Green with the same skill set was playing

(14:20):
with the Charlotte Hornets, would somebody call him a bum
because averaging eight, five, and six with the Hornets would
be bum like numbers. I think Draymond is a quality,
good player, heck of a player, but he's without the context.
Meaning if Dak Prescott was with Andy Reid and all
that going on, jee's does he get to a playoff?
Maybe he doesn't win, rings a bunch of them, maybe gets

(14:41):
to the super Bowl, maybe he loses. Anybody gets there.
So my point is you have to have some context.
Because Draymond Green with the Washington Wizards, we could easily
say is a bum based off of that because those
numbers eight, six, and seven would not look great with
the Wizards. Also to just simply say he's a bum
because he hasn't showed up in the postseason. And I

(15:01):
get it, the Cowboys haven't shown up in the postseason.
We can rip the Cowboys. I'm right there with you. You
can even rip that specifically about that at times. I
get you on that. So is Lamar Jackson a bum?
Is he gonna say that? Because Lamar Jackson, in my opinion,
for the most part, obviously been in and out the season.
But he's the best player, most dynamic player, you agree,
but he hasn't had great postseason numbers.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Is he a bum? So when you do.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
That, to me, Joe Burrow, bump? Is Ryan Leaf? Could
you now Ryan Leave's a bum? JaMarcus Russell's a bump.
You're running them in that same category. So to me,
without articulating your point, but what you're just saying a bum?
And now you're putting everybody in that category. Now Lamar Jackson,

(15:47):
Now Dan Marino's a bum.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
I'm gonna give you a guy who won a championship,
two of them.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
In fact, you could argue, based off Draymond's criteria, he's
a bum.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Peyton Manning. Pey Manning didn't have great postseasons like that
and like ninety one yards, he didn't even play.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Peyton Manning's Super Bowls weren't great. Peyton Manning getting there
relied on the defense, with the with the with the
Broncos and so on, and so so is he a bum?
So the criteria was it was a terrible way to
articulate the criteria to be a bump because now he's
Dak's next with Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
We want to get in on this. Eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox, we want to hear from you.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Do you have a product on the DAK Police like
we on the DAK Police. I know, of all people,
I ain't throwing Dak bell, but that was extreme. That
was way extreme.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Do you have a problem with Draymond Green calling Dak
Press got a bum and this damn new Media.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I'm just saying, you know, I gonna let that go.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
And Rob g I can't wait till one day I
have to bring in Rob somewhere like, oh, ROSM, can
you just present me Kelvin? You know you've been my
codes for these years. I'm like, yeah, I musa say.
He's since been covering the league since nineteen eighty six
and nineteen eighty seven, depending the sport he is this,
he's that he has a press box stand up there
and by the way, he's the president of the New Media.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
It will not happen eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox eight seven, seven, nine, nine, six sixty three sixty nine.
We'll continue the conversation next with you. It is the
odd Couple on a worship Wednesday. Rob Parker Kelvin Washington
and you know what you need to do, stick and stay.

(18:43):
soup Andrew Brant, form NFL exec distributor of the Sunday
seven News.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
They are going to join us here about five minutes
or so.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Say some call Draymond and the new media is want
to get you mad, uh, basically saying Dak is a
bum and neither one of us want to be on
the defense team. But that's gone too far? Are we
crazy or Dak crazy? Seven ninety nine on Fox?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
So'll we got all right?

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Let's kick it off with caid In Reno. You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
What's up kid?

Speaker 9 (19:08):
Hey, how are we doing today? Fellas that fantastic? So
I got two points. I mean, I'm no, I'm no
Cowboys defender. I'm in fact a little bit of a hater.
But by Draymond's uh, by his his narrative, there's about
twenty nine guys.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
In the league that are busting right, you know.

Speaker 9 (19:27):
Because they not because they haven't won a Super Bowl.
So right now, you know, Dak puts up numbers every
single year, and if winning a Super Bowl is the
only thing that doesn't make you a bump, and there's
a lot of those out there, and the hypocrisy is
what bugs me because I've seen a direct quote from
him where he says the media does not respect us players.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (19:49):
Yeah, you're gonna go out there and disrespect the man
who puts in the time the same time and effort
that you put in. Yet it's meaningless because he hasn't
won and been carried to can't be just like you.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Have, fat thank you?

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Cage spot on spot on eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox, Well said, Shack in Richmond, Virginia.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up shot?
Listened a couple of the time. I looked a couple
of my favorites. Oh can it such?

Speaker 5 (20:20):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
How you?

Speaker 5 (20:23):
I'm good man? I'm good a man, Rob What y'all
gonna learn? Man? These athletes it was never about the
media and being critiqued and all that. They just wanted.
They turn doing that all these dudes do is to
send their homies. Yeah, man, just crap on everybody else
that they don't know. And it's just like it's so hypocritical,
and it's like, man, you're not my self awareness, like

(20:44):
you have to lack like to even speak like gray
mind does he? He like he's a hypocrite, like twice
a week, don't have it.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
It's you know.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
And last year Shaq, he's the one and one on
said that, Okay, see, they could never win a championship
because they're too friendly and they go out and hang
out and exactly, but this was this is Draymond giving
you his basketball, not because they don't do this so
they can't defend or this or that their pally pal
after the games, so they can't win a championship. Let

(21:17):
me add what I just heard this basketball and analysis.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Somebody just sent me one the other day and I
finally was able to look at it. I'm gonna give
you a perfect example of what we're just talking about.
Pat bav has this podcast. He had Jason Williams on
White Chocolate and they got into a great conversation because
he Jason Williams had heard on the pod previously Patrick
Beverley had said that he believes the Las Vegas Aces

(21:44):
could beat you know, an NBA team, the worst NBA team. Now,
if I came out here and said that you disrespecting
the athletes, you don't know what it takes, even if
you have a bad record. These are the four hundred
and fifty best players in the world. If I said that,
or you said that we're disrespecting, no ball and he
was really defending that, and Jason Wims looking at me
like he's looking at him, he's crazy like my high

(22:05):
school team me, Randy Maleson, then we would have won.
Against My point is a great example that if I
came on here and said that with a dead straight,
serious face, every NBA dude would say I'm crazy and
I'm wrong and I'm disrespecting them. But then an NBA
dude can say it all right on the way Andrew Brandt,
I can't wait to talk to Andrew. He's always got
good stuff. Always former NFL exec will talk to him

(22:27):
in one SECONDO.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm Eastern,
four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
All right, it's the icover Robert Kelvin on the worst
of Wednesday, aches and pains. We all know they sneak
up on you during the holiday hustle and bustle, and
a leave can help you forget the pain.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Also, hope you make happy memories instead. With just one pill.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
A league and that's right, provides up to twelve hours
of body pain relief so you can keep it moving.
Please use as directed and ask rops at a moment
ago excited to talk about Talk to Andrew Brant, former
NFL exec distributor of the Sunday seven newsletter, Andrew Brant
on Twitter.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Andrew, what's up man, what's happening?

Speaker 10 (23:09):
Hey guy, It's good to be with you. Good to
get past the NFL trading deadline. Back in my day,
sound like an old guy, but we were at week
six when they had the trading deadline, which seems so
early in the season. We really didn't know what buyers
and sellers were. But now it's at week eight, a
little more clarity halfway through the season. But you know,

(23:32):
the NFL never wanted to do later like baseball and basketball,
have a little more buzz. They just like the trade
deadline being somewhat early in the five.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Well, let me say this, the Colts, I just can't
get with Daniel Jones or buy into that. They're going
to the AFC Championship Game and I'm gonna give away
picks because I'm buying into Daniel Jones.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Where are you on that? Did you like what they
did to pick up Sauce Gardner?

Speaker 10 (24:01):
I'm with you, Rob, I just don't.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
I don't.

Speaker 10 (24:04):
I don't get two number ones for you know, when
I'm thinking. When I'm thinking two number ones, I'm thinking
quarterbacks or Michaeh Parsons or Miles Garrett. That's about it.
I just for a time for a I mean, they
have left no margin of error. Gardner better be all
pro because when you give up that kind of asset

(24:25):
for a corner, maybe pats or ten. But it just
seemed to me, like.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Wow, I'm stunned and and Andrew his first year.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Was his best year. Look go look he was great.
You know what I mean is first year was his
best year.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
I don't understand, well how much angreew Let me just
to add to that real quick. Do you think it's
that they believe what Rob just said, that his best
year is first year or two where he was Pro Bowl,
he is, that he's just playing with the Jets, or
he's just you know, he's not interested right now, the
team doesn't know what they're doing, and that if he
comes to our team, our system, we'll get back to
that verse him.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (25:01):
I mean, I'm not ready to say he's below a
top ten corner, but I'm not saying it's the top
five corner. And I think when you make that deal,
you're talking about a top two or three corner. To
give up that assets and the other part of it
you mentioned Rob when you started the question, is Daniel Jones.
To get a top young quarterback, you obviously need a

(25:22):
first round pick and maybe more. Yes, so they have
foregone that. So there's going to be none of that
in twenty six or twenty seven, which tells you the
only options are a big free agent quarterback that's not
going to happen and Daniel Jones. So they obviously after
eight games, have made a commitment to Jones because there's

(25:45):
no other option for them at quarterback. They have no assets.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
And what I don't understand and I know you've got
a beat. Who's on the schedule, Andrew, But I'm sorry,
I look at the teams that they've rolled over, most
of them also rans. The two they played, they lost
to the Rams and the Steelers. I'm just not convinced.
I think it's too soon. And this is where last

(26:08):
year Kelvin and I disagreed with Sam Darnold, like I
understood why they wouldn't want to sign him because the
two biggest games of the year he went the bed
and that would scare me.

Speaker 10 (26:22):
Well, the thing with Jones, you know, I've done, I've
done Brett Farbes and Aaron Rodgers contract. When you're paying
a quarterback, you either pay top of the market or
you or you let him go. I mean, there's there's
really not an in between now. So here's what is
going to happen. You know, when he did the Giants deal,

(26:43):
that was two years, eighty million. The forty million was
the number. The number today is fifty five to sixty million.
Are they really going to pay that for Daniel Jones
or are they going to do a franchise tag in
twenty six and put it off. What a franchise tag
is going to be forty something. So they've kind of

(27:04):
made their bed with Daniel Jones with this trade. That's
what people aren't saying enough. It's one thing to talk
about Gardner, right, but they don't have assets to replace
Daniel Jones. So he's the guy.

Speaker 6 (27:16):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
All right, we have, of course Andrew Brant, former NFL
execu distributed of the Sunday seven newsletter, and also check
out his work at my Sunday seven dot com and
check out the podcast The Business of Sports Podcasts doing great.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Andrew Brant is the real deal what you know?

Speaker 4 (27:32):
And you know, Andrew, I'm not one of these guys
who glad hands everybody.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Your information to me is some of the best. I'm
just gonna say it out there.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Well, no, I appreciate that, Andrew. Then let's get some
of your perspective on this. You just mentioned Rob brought
him up. He and I did have a We would
go back and forth for Sam Darnod. I was under
the mind of, Hey, if I'm the Vikings, I'm signing
the guy. It's great season, great relationship with the coach,
blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
That wasn't uh, you know, we can go past that.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Let's talk about the contract now with the Seahawks. What's
the greatest good money if you're Sam Donno, considering where
you were. But now that he's played at this level,
what do you think they're going to do? Are they
going to resign him now? They're going to wait it
out a little bit?

Speaker 5 (28:09):
Good question.

Speaker 10 (28:10):
You know, they did get him at what seems now
a bargain at the time. Right at the time, he's
getting thirty five and Gino is getting forty, and Gino's regressed,
and he's he's continued to ascend. And yes, he had
those two bad games at the end that I think
hurt of market value. But I think you just mentioned it.

(28:31):
I was surprised the Minnesota Vikings did not franchise tag
him because JJ's coming off the serious injury and why not,
you know, as someone who had backup in Green Bay
sit for three years, why not let McCarthy sit a
year and just ride out Darnold. So I was surprised. Now,

(28:54):
Minnesota may be fine, McCarthy may be ready now, but yeah,
Seattle got a goodbye. And in terms of next year,
I think you know, you try I hate to hold
it against him, the two at last games last year,
but they would They probably want to see a play
out the whole year.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, I would.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Wait, I need to see that too, because you could
have this year and then nothing happened. Let's go to
Jordan Love in Green Bay like like, you know, most
teams would die to have three quarterbacks over forty years.
You know what I mean, you were there. It just
doesn't happen. But there were radio hosts ready to crown him.
He's elite's this and that. And then last week just

(29:34):
an absolute stinker, you know, to lose to the Panthers
at home.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Weren't they coming off a buye two? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Right, just a really bad loss or whatever? Where are
you on, Jordan Love? And is this just the growing
pains of you know, some nights he carved up the
Steelers that night looked unbelievable, and that's when everybody crowned him.
And then he followed that up later on with a turd. God,
I should say, a bad game.

Speaker 10 (30:00):
Yeah, you guys know, I got a lot of bias.
I'm still a huge Packer fan, and I am I'm
shaking my head like a lot of people. I think
they have the most I guess the highest ceiling in
the NFC. I really do. I think they have the
highest ceiling in the NFC, even higher than the Eagles.

(30:23):
But they've lost.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
They've lost.

Speaker 10 (30:26):
The two games they've lost have been to the worst
teams they've played, which is like, wait, what the two
games they've lost Browns and Panthers are the two worst
teams they played. So that tells me something is not
right there. So watch them go out and beat the
Eagles Monday night. You know, it's just like they play

(30:47):
to the competition and that should be okay in the playoffs,
but there are these lapses, and obviously losing Tucker TRK
Kraft hurts.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
You know.

Speaker 10 (30:57):
I think it's pretty open, guys. I think, uh, Lions, Rams,
Eagles and Packers. You know, I think anything could come
out of that.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
I got the Lions not making the playoffs.

Speaker 10 (31:09):
Andrew wow, Wow.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
And now and Andrew go take a look at third
down conversions. They used to be like top three, they're
like twenty fifth or sixth now they don't. And there's
some issues there. I'm serious, there's some issues there.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
And the schedule is pretty tough.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
They got to a couple of easy ones in there,
but they got a tough schedule. And now here's the problem.
The Bears are five and three, fool gayzy Vikings are
four and four, saying the division and then Green Bays
at the top. But the division is stacked. So what
My point to Calvin before the season was that the

(31:50):
Lions could win ten games.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
And not make the playoffs. Yeah, well, Andrew don't believe it.
He just said, Yeah, I'm just saying nowhere.

Speaker 10 (31:58):
Andrew got some packers in him too, with in terms
of playing with their food. It looks like sometimes like
what's going on with that team? I think I'm not
I'm not a big believer in the Bears. I think
the Vikings can ascend. I think the Vikings have something.
Now I do with this quarterback?

Speaker 2 (32:17):
All right, there you have it. Andrew appreciate what time was.
Always good stuff.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
All right, God, alright, you take care of all right?

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Thank you. Make sure you check it out again.
