Speaker 2 (00:22):
You're listening to the best of the Odd Couple.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
The Blue Jays just finished the biggest choke job in
the history of Major League Baseball. And you know, normally
I would sing my old Canada. I was all prepared
for them to win or whatever. So I do have
a new song that I'm gonna debut right now.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Bud, let me hear this what Bladdy about to hear?
No canad.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
Your home man, native land.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
True patriot choke job all over the Major League Baseball land.
With closing hearts, we see the rise of the Dodgers
(01:24):
championship flags from far and wide. No Canada, you lead
down the entire country.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
God keep our.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Baseball glorius and free.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
No Canada, you.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Choked it down royally. No Canada, you made me throw
up in my mouth.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
With maple syrup on Saturday night.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
This is fun. First of all, no Katada.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
First of all, you ain't got a bottle of metal
of maple syrupce, save your life. Let's start there. Are
you done with your your your The calling is a
choke job.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
It was a choke job. All right, let's just we'll
talk about it. Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
I'm saying it was the greatest choke in the history
of the World Series. When you give up a home
run to a ninth place hitter who's had one hit
in the in the previous month, you pitch from behind,
you throw the ball over the plate right, and he
hits it out to tie the game with Otani on deck,
(02:59):
like you couldn't asked for a more nightmarriage ending to
not winning a World Series. When you have to get
him out, you attack him, You throw fastballs they threw
like a slider or whatever, and you lose on that pitch.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
You don't lose on your second best pitch. And then the.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Blue Jays we were here, we talked seventh, eighth, They
had runners on second with nobody out, couldn't bring him in,
And finally in the ninth inning, a man on third
with one out couldn't bring him in.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
And then they end the game.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
On a double play to lose the World I mean
they left sixty six men on base in Game seven,
they left fourteen on base, eight in scoring position.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
It was a choke job.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
No, it wasn't stopping. You don't even believe it. You
didn't even say with conviction. That wasn't even Ron Parker.
Who was that? That wasn't Ron Parker. You don't believe that.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Let me tell you so many ways as wasn't a
choke job. Number one.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
In fact, the Dodgers had to go out there and
win every single one of the games they won, including
the two games they won in Game three, which was
a three yad two gamer doubleheader. They had to go
out there and make the places. Freddy Freeman had to
hit a clutch home run and win that. Somebody had
to do it. The Glue Jays had several opportunities to
do it after Dodger players had opportunity to do it too.
You have Freddy Freeman do it, then you know who
(04:20):
I want to give some credit to give me your
cookie back. I'm giving it to Dave Roberts because Dave
Roberts has been maligned, much maligned, is taking so much
criticism and every single thing he did the last couple
games work. We set up here on that Friday, they
moved Mookie down. Who gets the couple of RBIs Mookie?
You start talking about move Andy Piaz. We talked about
(04:41):
it again on Friday. Been struggling. What are you gonna do?
You move him out? Miggy comes in, He hits the
home run. Andy Piaz comes back in the game defensively,
makes one of the greatest clutch catches you've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
He was so great about What was so great about
it because if that leave his feet or died for
the ball, all he did was out.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
In front of the one of a pressure moment. Man,
he hadn't been playing.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Out it did they crash into each other, ducked. It
wasn't because of the situation it was. It wasn't a catch.
He didn't jump over the fence right exactly, a pressure
rized game. If you dropped that, man, it's a rap,
it's a game. Hits the home run.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Then he makes the play to get out will Smith,
who by the way, is quietly just you feever forgetting
about him. He has his foot on base, gets him out.
Then he hits the game winning home run that nobody
even talking about because of Rojas game tying one.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Well, because nobody can believe that you could allow a
ninth place hitter with one out in the night, when
you're two out from winning the World Series, for a
guy who had one hit in a previous month, you.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Could get a hit. You can't give up a home
run in that spot. And why is that?
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Why is that on the pitching, not on Ross for
making a great play.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
No, and that's what the Dodgers did though a whole
in time. No, he worst of the problem.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
The last two games in Toronto both ended on double
plays where a ball goes to left field, the guy
on second base runs off the base and gets doubled
up on the ball that wasn't gonna drop.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
That was you know what happened. That was a mistake.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Happens when teams played the Chiefs in the postseason, when
they played the Patrios, when they played the Warriors, When
you play champions, they seen when you played the Spurs
all those years. Soon to find a way to panic,
to not be themselves, to freak out, to lose what
they're doing.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
All the time. The Dodgers beat in this world.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Okay, left fifty five guys on base even show, Hey,
as much as people wanted to crown.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Him, what did he do? He gave up.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Seven earned runs in his two starts in the World Series.
Seven earned runs and twelve innings. Not stellar. Four point
four to three e R which isn't great.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I'm just saying, none of your guys, Mookie had three
hits or we hits in the World Series. And what
do I keep telling you? What Freddy no one home run?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
All I'm saying to you is it was lucky that
there was nothing luck about that that parade.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
You can't beat the lucky team who dominates who you can.
You can't be the lucky team that sweeps the best
team in baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers, who beats the Phillies.
Show the Phillies were the odds on to win the
World Series when we came into the Steague. And so
you beats them, you sweep the Milwaukee the best of
your baseball and then you go up against a great
team in the Blue Jays, and it takes you to
(07:33):
an amazing, great sect. And why can't it just be
that it was a great World Series period? Why it
all gotta be that they chunked it away.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
All women, you say to you is today's parade should
have been in at the North Pole, because that was
a Christmas gift from the Blue Jays.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Man.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
They went out there and stole that thing. That was
time in time again. The Blue Jays could have won
game three, give us the longest game ever?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Did they know? Show? And they win a couple the
die and go to their house. Are gonna win and
win you in their house?
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Two and they take it, and Dave Roberts made the
right move after the right Will Kine.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
You ain't seeing before, you might not ever see Will
Klein again.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
Will Klein came in and gave you four innings, seventy
two pitches and the most he had ever double thirty six.
But Dave Roberts stuck with him. Dave Roberts Willion Kurse
shaw in for the one out. Everything he did, and
you gotta give him credit, because I everybody's been credited
everything he did.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
He put.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
He let the Otawani start and was three nothing if
they lose that game.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
That was the right guy, That was the right move.
You go down with your guys. Otani had earned that.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
You go down with Buddy had just pitched was three
days rest, and you are say Moto did in three
days rest. Yamamoto was my gosh, he ready to pitch
on them right now?
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Give some credit? Where is dude? Rob eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox. I'm not an American Express, the
American Easy. I'm not giving a card. I'm not doing that.
Charlie Hayes, give some credit your n dings. You ain't
getting a cookie. Give me a back. No, it's too late,
all right, eight seven seven ninety nine on.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixteen
turn around.
Speaker 2 (09:11):

Has a I guess is a football podcast? Uh so?
Draymond Green has a football.
Speaker 6 (10:09):
Podcast, aptly titled why is Draymond Green?
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Talking about football?
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Exactly straight to the point with the title, Yes, before
you go, Wymon Green, there's your there's there's yours.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
And he made a little he made some way, made
some waves. Co host with friend of the show, Jordan Schultz.
They do a football podcast. Jordan, I've never missed that podcast.
Speaker 7 (10:29):
I know, just like no one misses Inside the Park
pretty quire, Rob. But anyway, Rob, g what we've been
doing inside the part for six years, you're still doing.
Why you disrespected our pod?
Speaker 6 (10:39):
Because we're in the off season now, so I don't
gotta worry about it. Today was the last one, so
he feels good now. Yeah, after twenty.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Six Maybe that's why I came in flying, That's why
he came in off night jacket hair, slick back, No
more that one, at least for six minute. I gotta
just deal with Jason mctyre. Yeah, that's a good point.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
So the Draymond Podcast asked, new episode has even dropp yet,
This is just the teaser for the next episode.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Thing that comes out tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
Was talking about Dak Prescott and he has some choice
words for the Cowboys quarterback.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Take Liszten, Dak's bum. Oh, Dak's not a bomb. He's
an MVP candidate. Yeah, that's fine. He get in some
numbers and they stink doc so bum. He's not a bomb. Dog,
he's a quarterback. No, he's a boom. Don't never win
with that.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
You're too smart and you know too much about football
to say Dak Prescott's a bomb.
Speaker 8 (11:27):
I won four championships, Jordan, So people understand when I
say bomb.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
I'm not saying.
Speaker 8 (11:32):
Dak Prescott isn't a NFL quarterback. Of course, he's a
good NFL quarterback. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying,
when the money's on the line, when it's for all
the Marl Boots, who are you he a bomb?
Speaker 2 (11:43):
I totally disagree. I totally What has he done in
those moments been a bum? He is not a bomb
in the.
Speaker 9 (11:49):
Moments, Jordan, when they had their best teams, best offensive line.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
To the league. They had all that to get to playoffs.
He a ball, but the story isn't fully written yet.
Speaker 9 (11:58):
This is pretty written because now he's making sixty five
million dollars and it's way harder to win, like you
gotta be so like Patty Mahome's good to be like
that highly paid and still go win like that's a
very hard thing to do.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Like it's over. I just these are the podcasts you're
listening to.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
I'm dead serious, and this is a public service announcement
to all sports fans out there.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Have to Mike, make sure it's on. Is it on me? Okay?
We got you? Turn these podcasts off?
Speaker 1 (12:30):
And Draymond with this new media crap, new media crap,
my ass, he's a total hypocrite. Because if it was
a journalist or somebody give it saying that about Dak,
it would be the end of the world to call
him a bomb.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
If you want to make the point, Kelvin and break down.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
That beating good teams or on the road and give
me some numbers and facts to get up there and
say that Dak Prescott is a is a bum. It
was like Shady McCoy on FS one who called him
ass on the air. Dude, really, and you guys are
professional athletes who know what it takes to make it
(13:10):
to that level and to perform. Right, there's no reason
stop listening to these guys. Draymond Green, new Media, No,
Draymond Green, untrained, unsophisticated, under researched.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
It ain't about just your feelings on somebody. And then
to use the money thing.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Really, really, if that was somebody else saying Draymond Green
don't deserve that, it would be like, Oh, a talented
black man can't earn money playing basketball, That's what he
would say. And instead, here he is. I'm not a
Dak Prescott fan, and I'm talking about like thinking that
(13:56):
he's gonna win you all the Super Bowls. But I'm
gonna give you reasons why, facts, numbers, figures. This is
just off the cuff, bs, embarrassing, New Media. He's the
one criticizing the people, the debate shows and all this.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
They got an opinion, they even play and all this stuff.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
And they have then the audacity to disrespect Dak Prescott
and say he's a bum. And then you know what,
I hate, use the flimsy qualifiers. First he calls him
a bum Kelvin. Then he goes, well, you know I'm
saying he can't play?
Speaker 2 (14:41):
What what do you what is a bomb? You can't
what is a bumb? You can't say? Oh, I just
say he's not a good NFL quarterback? Well, what's a bomb?
Speaker 1 (14:51):
A bum means the worst of the worst. Come on, man, dude,
turn off these po cast. If people aren't gonna talk
to you a sports fan and give you some a
real analysis, tell me why it's not enough just to
(15:12):
have an opinion based on what. Why don't you like something?
Why don't you like this player? Give me examples based
on what. If you can't answer that question, you don't
have an opinion, not a valid one. I'm so tired
new media. Ain't no new media. It's guys pretending like
(15:36):
they're something different or like they have some inside story.
Draymond didn't give me anything for me to believe that
he knows anything about the National Football League.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
And not to mention you just said on something to me.
If you felt he was a bumped, then you gotta
ride that out. You can't immediately do one eighty and
say why I'm not saying he's not a good quarterback
that Jordan Jordan is a friend of ours, showed us
my guy. But like that's when you gotta go at him.
You can't be that close, meaning it can't be why
I'm not saying you's good. You can say he's had
(16:09):
some bad playoff performances and they say, remember the game
against the Packers that had a great twelve and five season.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
I thought they were gonna be able to go to super.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
Bowl, and is cool cool, But the idea you can't
say simply an MVP candidate now looks like again potentially
this year as well, is a bum.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
That doesn't even make sense.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
A guy who's been twelve and five multiple times bum
that doesn't make sense. And to add to a point
you were making that to me, if you're gonna now
be a part of the media, then you have to
find other vernacular, different verbiage, because todeed that's what a
guy like a Draymond will be mad. Fans just go
say somebody is a bum without doing you would say
(16:48):
that about a fan or sports media guy if they
had that about somebody, because you.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Would say, what would he say?
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Look at dex number forty touchdowns five six interception stead
when you can gotta be a pro bowler, how how
can it be a bum twelve and five more?
Speaker 2 (17:01):
How could be? You would say that if I just.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Came on and said you were a bumm because you
averaged a single triple I mean a triple single, You know.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
What I mean? You would say, then you don't get
the context for the champion.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
You're the way he said, I not the Warriors one
and all right, And this is the trouble with I
do believe Draymond has been in a winning coacher. He's
had a bunch of championships. They've been a bunch of finals.
How many championships they win in Michigan State. Now they
didn't win it, and so Steph wasn't on that team.
And so to me, you going where I was gonna go.
(17:33):
If Draymond Green, with the same skill set was playing
with the Charlotte Hornets, would somebody call him a bum
because averaging eight, five and six with the Hornets would
be bum like numbers. I think Draymond is a quality,
good player, heck of a player, but he's without the context.
Meaning if Dak Prescott was with Andy Reid and all
that going on, jee's. Does he get to a playoff,
(17:55):
maybe doesn't win, rings a bunch of them, maybe gets
to the Super Bowl, maybe he loses.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Anybody gets there. So my point is you have to
have some context.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Because Draymond Green with the Washington Wizards, we could easily
say is a bum based off of that, because those
numbers eight, six, and seven would not look great with
the Wizards. Also to just simply say he's a bum
because he hasn't showed up in the postseason, and I
get it, the Cowboys haven't showed up in the postseason.
We can rip the Cowboys. I'm right there with you.
You can even rip that specifically about that at times
(18:24):
I get you on that. So is Lamar Jackson a bum?
Is he gonna say that? Because Lamar Jackson, in my
opinion for the most part, obviously been in and out
the season. But he's the best player, most dynamic player,
you agree, but he hasn't had great postseason numbers?
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Is he a bum? So when you do that, to me,
Joe Burrow bump?
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Is Ryan Leaf? Could you now Ryan Leave's a bum?
JaMarcus Russell's a bum? You're running them in that same category.
So to me, without articulating your point better. That's what
you're just saying, a bum. And now you're putting everybody
in that categorises now Lamar Jackson, Now Dan Marino's a bum,
Dan Marino's a bomb. I'm gonna give you a guy
who won a championship two of them. In fact, you
(19:08):
could argue, based off Draymond's criteria, he's a bum. Peyton Manning, right,
Pey Manning didn't have great postseasons like that, and the.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Last he had like ninety one yards. He didn't even play.
Peyton Manning. Super Bowls weren't great.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Peyton Manning getting there relied on the defense, with the
with the with the Broncos and so on and so
so is he a bum? So the criteria was it
was a terrible way to articulate the criteria to be
a bump. Because now he's Dak's next with Ryan Leaf
and JaMarcus Russell.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
We got some big news coming out of DC.
Speaker 6 (19:49):
Jayden Daniels, who you'll recall last week suffered a ugly
dislocated elbow and his left thankfully was his not throwing
arm left dabble dislocation. However, they got some great news
that it was announced today no ligament damage will not
need surgery and as a result, at least for now,
(20:10):
will not going into reserve, which means theoretically Jaden Daniels
could be back week thirteen for the Commanders, which if
you're a football fan, that's great to hear. If you're
a fantasy football fan, it's great to hear. If you're
a Commander's fan, that's awesome. Here here's the only downside.
Though Washington has lost four consecutive games, Washington is currently
(20:37):
down three of their top five wide receivers. Washington plays
Philadelphia two of the next three weeks. So even if
you do get Jayden Daniels back, what is he coming
back to That's the question.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I tell you what.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
He's not coming back to our locker room to be playing.
Heath ain't coming back to his uniform. Listen, I love
it at my or the fact that he wants to play.
I'm big on that because I think often you know,
we had a nice run where athletes you kind of
started to worry, like, oh, do they want to play?
Speaker 2 (21:06):
It is a heart there.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
I love that, but sometimes you have to look out
for the player. Sometimes you have to look out for
the franchise. And I think, Jaden Daniels, I love that
you want to play. I love the heart, I love
the commitment. I love that your team loves you. The leadership, bruh,
we want to live to fight another day with you.
We want to have a decade plus with you. We
want you to be the man in DC the DMV
(21:27):
area and be the star and leader of this franchise.
And the only way that we do that is by
being judicially smart with you. And sometimes we got to
just say, hey, have a seat, sit down. You've already
missed a handful of season games so far this season,
he's missed a few for a couple of seas, and
he had the left knee sprain that kept him out.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Then he had the right hamstring strain.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Now he's got this elbow, which, by the way, the
grace of God, because that looked like a horrible injury.
I thought his arms about to snap off. So to me,
three and six were down. A bunch of our receivers
and it's not like the Ravens have a chance to
come away, and when it's the vision right now, and
it looks like the vision is not necessarily going to
be there, so the way looks like it's the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
So to me, if they were in the raven situation
where I could see, all right, we got a chance.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
We got Lamar. He's a veteran, he's been doing this
for years. We know we got a veteran situation. This
is his second year. I don't want to go out
there and beat him up and have him and you
hate to say it, in RG three situation that has
to be looming. So if I'm the general manager of
the own, I'm going to dan Quinn and saying I'm
not being You're not in a situation. If we sit
(22:30):
him and you guys lose out that you were getting fired,
your position is safe.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
We believe in you. We got our guy, we got
our coach.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Let's meet judicious and smart about this, live to come
back next year, healthy receivers, healthy Jaden's healthy, and let's
go compete again and compete for this division again next year.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Dude, what are you talking about? None of what you
just said makes any sense.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
And I'm gonna say this first of all, once he's
cleared and he's healthy, he should play.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I'm not talking about put him out there. If he's hurt.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
You have a whole team full of players who still
want to play and don't think the season is over.
And there are other receivers who have been waiting for
their opportunity to play.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Not that other guys are down.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Otherwise, what is the point on being on a team
if you're gonna throw in the towel on everybody else
If he's hurt.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
You probably, like were one of the people who wanted
Zion Williamson not to play again in college basketball.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
I remember everybody saying, oh, he and none to brew.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
If you're nineteen years old and you don't want to play,
I don't want that guy. Once he was healthy, guess
what Zion did. He went back and he played. You
should play. Michael Jordan got hurt early in his career. Oh,
just take the season, Mike, and do we get a
better pick.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
No, you want to play, you play for your teammates
if you're healthy. Why can't they run off eight games
in a row. They won miracle games last year that
they had no business winning. That's how you make name
for people. There's no reason if you're telling me that
the doctor says that there's a chance that this or
(24:16):
you know, he's not really one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
But once he's cleared the play, guess what players do, Kelvin.
Players play, That's why they're called players. No, you think
he wants to throw the toweling on the season once
they're officially eliminated. Okay, I'll buy that once they're officially eliminated,
but I'm not doing that now.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
You just threw me all off.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
No, I did not because Rob g said he might
not come back to week thirteen. By then, they could
have lost another three.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Four, They could have won five in a row and
still be in there. You don't think they come back.
You you talk about Marcus Mary ready to come back
if he come if they won a few games and
got back, and you think he wouldn't come back.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
No, no, no, what I'm saying is if he they
already essentially are out. But let's just say how.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
When they out, they're not officially out.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
They're not if they go four games, they're not out
out Mathematically they're not.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
They're not. Now when I.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
Come back with my franchise the face of my friends,
because him beaten doesn't means all year, but that doesn't
always going to get whole injury.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
He's gonna stop him from getting hurt in week one
next year. We talk about it all the time. You
can't exact, can't ste I don't want to waste I
want to just know. What about the other forty six
players who won the roster, who want to play, who
are healthy and.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Want their leader. Nobody say that they want their leader.
He's sitting there copping out. I can't believe that.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
How he's not playing if we are coming, that makes
anyone sense to me. It's not as if he just
had a random you know, look, if he's healthy, he
should play.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
You disagree with that, I'm asking you disagree with Okay,
Now I don't even understand.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
I don't know what player you would be going to
want to play.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
It's not it's an impossibility to be healthy because he
has a hamstring, a knee string, and a strain.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
It's not impossible because they just said it, Rob g
when he set this whole story up.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
That means the two different things can't he play? Sure?
Is he healthy?
Speaker 5 (26:23):
No?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (26:24):
What if I saw I saw Kevin Durant go out
there with a busted uh uh?
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Killing my point? Can he could he have played? Yes?
Speaker 8 (26:33):
No?
Speaker 2 (26:34):
No, no my point no, No, I did not put
your point.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
My point is that you don't throw in the towel
with the idea because you know no, because you're saying, oh,
throwing the town.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You wait till, you'll wait till, we'll wait till next year. No,
there's not such thing. No, it's a big no. No,
it is second year quarterback. No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
It at absolutely, because you can't guarantee that next year
it doesn't get h hurt game we're gonna start off.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
So what's the difference.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
What's the differ We're gonna start over next to get
hurt at any time, play in the last three games,
or not play already. He didn't even have a great year.
I need him to get more repped. He ain't the
same quarterback he was a year ago. Go get something
more ReBs.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Yeah, well, you're gonna get some reps this summer. He
gonna get these reps this summer. He gonna come back
next year. Ain't ain't leave you in bowing out and
thrown in the towel on your teammate strategic the last
time star quarter guarantee this time, I guarantee that, can
you get out there?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
And you're guaranteed me he ain't gonna get hurt next
year by doing this?
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Can you guarantee me that that's called that's called life.
Can you guarantee me there? I might well? I fell
down the stairs the other day. Can you guarantee me that? No,
that's part.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
But I have to be strategion, don't don't prategic, don't play? Oh,
my franchise quarterback, don't you want to playing to Rob
park Off Washington?
Speaker 2 (27:57):
And guess what got you?
Speaker 5 (28:00):
Man?
Speaker 2 (28:00):
You better come have a seat. You must be crazy.
You better come have a seaton. Players play, they're not
looking to bow out. You think you don't want to
get there? These managers and coaches do, and owners.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
I gotta think of the long term because the last
time I didn't do that with my star quarterback, he
got hurt and next thing I know, he's sparring with
Rob Parker online.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
That's what happened. The last time he got beat. That's
what happened.
