(00:21):
s R. You're listening to the Best of the Odd
Couple with Chris Brush and Rod Harker. Tonight big game
at the Staples Center. Every game now is big for
the Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Buz Owner of

(00:42):
the record in the NBA, there we go for tonight.
We got it, owner of the best record in the
NBA visits the Staples Center and Yannis Compo. Because are
you missed in anything? I'm saying, yes, you said a
big game. The front runner for the MVP Award, the
era apparent to the mythical title of World's best Player,

(01:06):
is visiting the Stable Center to night and he is
going to be matched up with one Lebron James and
Rob Park. I gotta I gotta say something. I gotta
say something, say it that you're not going to like.
But the stars, I mean the ones in the sky.

(01:27):
I don't mean celebrities are aligning for the Lakers. And
here's why I say that. Nickel wanted to make it case.
Golden State starting to struggle, and I don't think they're
not gonna win it comical, but they might not be

(01:48):
the first seed. Comical. The Lakers' chances of getting to
the seventh seed are really slim, and now that Golden
State looks like they might not be the first seed.
If the Lakers just get the eighth seed, they wouldn't
meet the inexperienced Denver Nuggets in the first round. And

(02:09):
I tell you what, I'm taking Lebron over Yoki in
that one. Secondly, Marvin Bagley, this is sad, but it
is a benefit for the Lakers. Marvin Bagley, who's been
playing some very very good basketball for the upstart Sacramento Kings,

(02:29):
is injured. That's one of the teams the Lakers have
the leap frog. They're one game ahead of Los Angeles,
so you've got that on the nda seed. They just
had the Lakers just know they're they're ninth. Because the
Lakers just had a game the other night against the
New Orleans Pelicans, and Anthony Davis only played twenty one minutes.

(02:50):
That was a blessing to the Lakers, and tonight Yannis
arguably the best player in the world right now going
to be the MVP most likely. He sat out two
games ago, was on the minutes restriction in their last game,
and maybe on the minutes restriction tonight isn't. No, we

(03:15):
don't know, okay, but if it just the fact that
there's a question is a blessing for the Lakers. So
my point is, and it'll all be moving when they
lose tonight. Are falling into place now they have to
capitalize them. That's saying it's gonna be the biggest all
not what am I What do you think I'm saying
that they definitely get in the playoffs. Ye. What I'm

(03:35):
saying is these are things that are falling in their
favorite That's all I'm saying. Are you're gonna tell me
they're not that The Warriors are half a game out
of first play one of the game out one of
the games they're in first right now, the Warrior they're
half a game ahead of dinner. Okay, So they're half
a game ahead for their last six. I get that.
I know that they lost all I'm saying, rob is

(03:55):
these things are all falling in their favorite that's it,
and that's that's undeniable. This is where we are with
Lebron James, the greatest player on the planet, is that
we need eight different moving parts to work for him
to make the playoffs, to be the eight seed in
the playoffs in the NBA would have the league make
the play if he missed eighteen, I don't care about.
Don't get get round though. Now he's back now and

(04:18):
they've won six of their last sixteen or six of
the last ten. You don't even fifteen six of the
last I don't spit it out unless you know. No,
I'm just saying, this is so ridiculous that wait a minute,
Lebron has to have nine things happen and somebody's leg
has to fall off for Lebron to make the playoffs.
And you're talking about like winning against Milwaukee, Uh is

(04:41):
a layoup because Jannis might because Jannis might play thirty
minutes forty minutes. All I mean is, oh well if
he if they First of all, it's not even Sacramento
who's in the eight spot right now. It's the Clippers,
and they're not one game ahead of the Lakers. They
have there are a few spots the Clippers trade away
their best players night and the Clippers keep winning. Just

(05:01):
you know what, really they just the last they're not
buying into the tech under five d the last two
that's right. How many games ahead of the of the Lake? Three?
All right, very night and they play the Lakers coming up.
That's that's another I didn't even mention of the class
they if if I just said, and you're right, he's
gotta go get it done. We've seen the move that

(05:21):
they played the Clippers twice. This huge for the idea
that that they're coming off of losses to Memphis and
New Orleans. Not coming off a lot. But we're talking
about the last few games. Their last three losses against
the last three game losses were against Cleve. I'm talking
about their last three losses were against uh Atlanta, New

(05:45):
Orleans and Memphis. And then the game that they did
win at home against New Orleans, they needed Anthony Davis
not to play the fourth quarter in order for them
to squeak out a five point We're making my back
talk in squeak out a win against that seeing to them,
that's what I'm saying things are falling in place. I'm

(06:06):
not buying. Lebrian has to capitalize. The Lakers have to capitalize.
But don't tell me they don't have things lined up.
I mean they're lining up. Give me, give me the
next five games. The next five games are tough games.
It doesn't matter five games or against playoff teams. This
is the bad team. Their last two of their last

(06:27):
three wins have been against playoff teams. The Lakers contenders.
The last five games of the season all against teams
in the playoffs as well. What matters the Lakers, What
matters for the Lakers is that how they are, where
they're at mentally. We've seen them lose, as you said,
to these horrible teams, and then they go out and

(06:47):
beat Boston, they beat hum. No, you're not just saying
it last time the game. He's the last time they
played a good game and beat a good team. I'm
just Christmas or we gotta go back good team. How
about Houston? James harn't the best way on the planet.
I was never a free throw for twenty minutes straight

(07:08):
to end the game, unheard of an NBA history. Won
the games to kind of luck that they need to
win a game. Who wanted to get stopping? How are
you taking that game from them? I'm not. I'm giving
it to him. But you just didn't at your last game.
Oh good, good win over a good team. Was the
Warriors on Christmas? Name? Why wasn't that a good one?

(07:28):
I just told him. I wasn't the Boston win a
good one? Because Rondo never hit a game when he shot.
That's his first game when he shot in his fifteen
year NBA career. Lucky care if it was luck. I
don't care. I just tell them they didn't show up
and they lost. The Lakers won in the game. That's
all I'm saying. You can't you there's not all this

(07:51):
nuance in these vagaries that you're throwing out. All they
didn't really win because he got lucky shot. No, you
shouldn't be talking about talking about Braun that he needs
luck in order to win. Oh, he needs the stars
to be a line. He's got to see us. And
I ever used the word at night. At night? Lebron
now has a voodoo doll of opposing players and he

(08:12):
has to stick them in order for them not to
play so he can make the playoffs. How how enticing
is that? How great is that in NBA history? The
Lebron James voodoo doll, that's what he needs to make
the playoff. I don't know about all. You know that
you're from New Orleans. I think you have one on me,
because some nights I don't feel good. Well, you know

(08:33):
when I kill you in debates all day on the
radio show, and then I get home and I'm liking bay.
You know you have a voodoo doll. No, it's probably
in your bad against my relive check your bad that
I don't do that stuff. You're from that town, I know,
I know, but not me. Be sure to catch live
editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob

(08:56):
Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. This Bryce Harper's Thing.
There's still a lot of great stuff to talk. Yeah,
he signed, obviously with the Phillies for thirteen years, three
hundred and thirty million dollars, the richest contract in American

(09:16):
team for his history. I think he did himself a
disservice by not getting a player option after six, seven,
eight years whatever, because that twenty five million dollars a
year that he's averaging on that contract, it's already low
for what he could have got, but it's gonna be
very low. In six or seven years, he's gonna be

(09:38):
woefully underpaid. But I was talking to some people today,
and obviously there have been some reports out about it too.
There are those that believe the reason Bryce Harper took
the lower dal or the deal as it was, was
because he has eyes on Mike Trout. Wow, right, a team,

(10:00):
the best player in baseball who will be a free
agent next summer. Where he's from the northern or south
southern New Jersey outside Philadelphia. Yes, okay, he probably grew
up a Phillies fans, right, yea yeap, So time for Duce.
You put this out and if it makes all the
sense in the world, because Bryce will be able to

(10:21):
say to Trout, look, number one, I'm here for the law,
I'm committed. Don't have to worry about me leaving. I
got a no trade clause and I don't have an option.
I'm can't opt out, So I'm here. And the twenty
five million dollars a year, Yeah for a guy, a
superstar that's a low contract for them, you know, but

(10:42):
it's a huge commitment. I mean, I get I get
to you, but the twenty five million is not gonna
keep them from going out and giving Trout a similar deal, right,
I agree, So that that makes a lot of sense
if that's the case. I also think Rob that Bryce Harper,
there's a misconception about him because he you know, with

(11:03):
the eye black and you know the beard, and he's
got like a really outgoing almost people think he's probably
a wild child, but he grew up Mormon family man,
got married young, like twenty four years old, doesn't drink,
doesn't smoke like he's a low key type guy. And
I don't really think he enjoyed all the hoop, So

(11:26):
I don't think he wants to go through it again.
And uh, you know when somebody makes that kind of
commitment to you and I don't. I don't pooh pool
what Verducci put out there, because that does make sense.
If there's a grand a plan and Trout will be
a free agent, maybe he wants to go back home.
It's hard to leave southern California, but he might want
to go back and play closer to home. His family.

(11:48):
As much as your family can come out and visit,
it ain't the same, right, right when when your your
friends and family can see your play. And uh, and
Trout's considered one of the best players, especially when we
talk about the war factor and what he does and
all the stuff. And here's the other part, Chris, that
I think people don't understand. And can you see the
headline here the Phillies five billion dollars. That's what people

(12:11):
don't understand. Phillies got money, right, They signed a new
five billion with a b local TV package. They have
money to spend. And uh, when you talk about being
a big market, a city that just won a Super
Bowl two years ago, right, and just the feel of it,

(12:31):
it's a big time town. It's a big Yeah, it's
it's a big It's in the tape five when you
say they live and die U Philadelphia. So there's buzz
and then you know what you want to react. Here's
here's a better part. So, Chris, if you're if you're
the Phillies and you signed Trout, the news gets out

(12:52):
and then you're in the office and the phone ring
off the hook and the internet blows up. They sold
four million dollars worth the base Phillies tickets yesterday and
one day four million. That's why you signed Bryce Harper.
That bottom, it's a business. That's why you signed Bryce Harper.
This is what we talk about all the time. It's

(13:14):
about the business aspect. You're trying to make money. Yeah,
you want to win, Chris, don't get me wrong. And
they're gonna be in the hunt, no doubt, whether or
not they win the World Series, will be in the
hunt for the division championship. They weren't the race. They
were in the race almost all year until the last
couple of weeks, three weeks a month they fell out.

(13:35):
The Braves won the division, the Mets were down there
at uh, the Nationals were down and the Phillies, I think,
if I look correctly, I think they finished second or
third in the third was the third day fallen down
the third. But they're they're not out of it. I mean,
they're gonna be in the mix. And here's the thing,
Rob and and you know I've said it myself, but

(13:56):
when you look at baseball and then a lot of
people are saying, wow, the Padre signed Machado to a
three hundred million dollars deal, and the projections are that
they'll win two more games. I don't know what the
projections are for the Phillies, but it's probably something similar.
And here's the thing about baseball. Of course, you want

(14:18):
to win championships, but baseball is different. Okay, I don't
care how you could have a guy hitting four hundred. Heck,
you could have a guy hitting four fifty and leading
the league in home runs and not win a World
Series because you don't have the pitching, Or you could
have tremendous pitching and you don't have the hitting. When

(14:41):
we think of I mean Barry Bonds, I look, I
know everybody thinks he was juicing, and I think he
probably was too, but he was agreed for what we
saw on the field. That was the best baseball player
I have ever seen. Without questions. I'm with you, and
you know who. He never won the World Series? Now
would you not want Barry Bonds on your team? Because

(15:03):
he never won the World Series? Hankary won one. When
we think of Babe Ruth, we don't think of how
many championships. You think of the star power, because we
understand in baseball, having a great player doesn't necessarily mean
you're going to win championships. A Rod won one. Yep,
and he was, and he put up unbelievable numbers everywhere.

(15:24):
He was right. So I don't even know how many
Willie Mays won. Willie Mays won one with I think
one with the Giants, and he went to the World
Series with the Mets. I think that was just one one.
I mean. But when we think almost positive ball football quarterbacks,
I should say the top quarterbacks. We know how many

(15:46):
rings they won. NBA superstars, we know how many rings
they want. We define them to a large extent by
their rings. It's not the same in baseball. So you
can't just say, okay, it's much Shadow gonna make them,
you know, a threat to win the National League? Is
Harper gonna you know, get them to the World Series.

(16:08):
It's different in baseball. It's a different game. You need
so many other elements to go along with it. Again,
you could have great hitting for a long time. The
old Red Sox before they finally wanted two thousand uh four,
they had these great these great hitters, O great, right,
the Ted Williams, your scrimps, right, trips can call you

(16:30):
trimp Sky. You had Jim Wright, you had all these
great hitters and fists, but you never they didn't have
enough pitching and they couldn't win. And uh so, so
you can have that. If you don't have the pitching
to go with it, you won't win. That's Baseball's a
funny game like that. Be sure to catch live editions
of The Odd Couple with Chris Brussar then Rob Parker

(16:50):
week days at seven pm Eastern, four pm Pacific. We
bring it to you every Friday Celebrity Corner, And this
week we got DJ Clue, my man, DJ Clue. He's
a record producer, radio host and of course a dope DJ.
He was recently out here in La at club our

(17:12):
guy when he during the Grammy Week. He didn't know.
I knew that you weren't there, No, but I heard
he was there. I heard he did. I heard he
turned it out to Clue. What's happened happening? What's up man?
How you guys doing? We're great? Man. I gotta let
y'all know Clue played in my Celebrity Game in twenty fourteen,
and I gave Clue buckets. He cannot deny it either.

(17:34):
He know I gave him buckets. He was gonna fire.
You were gonna fire. There ain't gonna fun. What celebrity
game was this? It was? I was a huge queens right,
it was in Queens at Christ of King High School,
JOMR Oldham played and all we had DJ Clue, Jay
the Kiss, Phelippe, A Lopez, Uh why Lee job? Yeah

(17:58):
it was. It was a lot of fun because Wlu
got Gamelo got game. He muscular out there with it.
You know, he like a Patrick Beverley, But you just
like hate to have him get on you, like, you know,
guard you. But what's up? Man, It's great to have
you on. Look you there in New York. I know
you want to talk about the Knicks, So I'm just
gonna throw this question out to him. All right, let's

(18:19):
hear this, all right, Clue, you know there's all to
talk about Kyrie and Kevin Durant going there, right, I
heard about that. Okay, let's say they both go there
and y'all get the number one pick. Oh yeah, I
love this question, and it's gonna be we know Zion
Williams say, are you giving up Zion for Anthony Davis?
Are you keeping Zion? Um me me personally? I mean,

(18:43):
I would go ad me personally, no doubt. Come on, man,
I want production over potential exactly I'm taking. I'm taking
a guarantee short shot. You know, you know what you
wanna give him? A d I mean, and you know
you putting him with Kadi Kyrie and and you know
the Newcats. Man, it's gonna be a problem. Dennis Smith Junior,

(19:03):
I mean, come on, you know the vibes, you know
what it's gonna be. I think d Smith Junior would
be part of that trade. Probably he probably I hate
to say it, no, but if you gotta, you gotta right.
But but I wouldn't make that trade only from the
standpoint of the Nicks having won since seventy three, and
if they could add a bona fide player that there.
You know, a lot of guys come out as the

(19:23):
first overall pick and a lot of guys wind up
being busted. I'm not saying that Zoon's gonna be that,
but I'm just saying I would take a short fired
twenty You hold is he twenty six right now? Yeah?
Short guy? Right? DJ Clue, I Like, here's why. And
I'm with y'all because I've been been with the take
a d camp, you know, for for a while. However,

(19:46):
the one thing I say is, if I have Kyrie
and Kevin Durant, those two are gonna have the ball
in their hands, So that third guy needs to be
able to do damage without the ball, and Zion can
do that. You know, He's shown that Duke RJ. Baron
handles the ball most of the time, but Zion can
get his twenty and ten off the ball. Anthony Davis

(20:07):
comes in there, it's gonna be some major adjustments, like
who's giving up the rock? You know what I'm saying.
So that's my only thing. But look either way, you
in good shape. I mean, look at the end of
the day, anyway you look at it. Once you have
a superstar line up in your you know, front court, backcourt,
there's not gonna be enough lever to go around, right someone.

(20:28):
Someone's gonna have to suffer somewhere. Now with the whole
Zion thing, he's definitely a great potential, but the Knicks
need to win now. Yep, that's true. We don't have
that three or four year window for him to develop
into a Lebron James. I mean, obviously Lebron's game, you know,
was a little bit different because he had a little

(20:50):
bit more you know, a little bit more possessions game
coming up, coming to the high school and stuff like that.
And I just think we need a d from that
for now. Like you know what I mean, Zion can
be good, you know, like four or five years down
the line, it's probably gonna be a great player. But yeah,
we can't take Anthony Bennett chances, you know in New

(21:10):
York right there, Remember he was in the one overall pick.
What about the Lebron scenario? What's going on out in
la uh you know, I mean they got a hard
road to make the playoffs. Do you think Lebron and
will make the playoffs? Or maybe it just it's gonna
be too little, too late. I mean, I mean, King

(21:31):
Jameson Man, I don't think they're gonna make the playoffs
this shit, I don't think. I don't. I don't think
they have it together. And at least by the start
of the All Star break they should have had had
it together. I think it has a lot to do it.
I mean, I had that same injury that Lebron had.
I mean I a little bit older than him because
that Greint injury takes a wild nagging, It takes a

(21:53):
wild and hill and I just think it's kind of
affecting his game a little right now. He can't do
all the stuff that he he wants to do all
the time. Clue, it's the Eye Couple. We're joined by
internationally known DJ, record producer and radio personality DJ Clue.
We're speaking about Lebron. He just was the an R

(22:15):
for to change new album rap or go to the League.
Have you heard any of it yet? Yeah? I actually
when I was out in LA for the Grammys, I
had heard the whole project. It's it's it's a dope project. Man. Really,
I'm not gonna lie like you know. When I heard it,
I was surprised. I had a great concept to it
and it flows away through. Man, it's a dope project. Man.

(22:35):
If you ain't got it to definitely go for the
air to it. But all right, let me ask he's
the ANR. Okay, what what does that mean? Lebron contributed
to the album? I mean as an an R. And
I used to be an A and on for Interscope
Records back in the day. You know what I'm saying. Um,
obviously you know you put you put certain curation you know,

(22:59):
within the album. You know, help pick beats, ideas, you know,
you kind of you kind of direct, Oh I like this,
I don't like that, or you need to come with
ideas stuff like that, like you know what I mean.
That's what That's what ant On really does. It is
like you know what I mean. He times, you know,
you might make a call to get an artist to
do a feature. You know, I'm sure Lebron didn't do

(23:21):
the paperwork side of things, you know, right, but he
probably had his input in, like you know, like direction
and hey, maybe you should get the song is dope.
Maybe we should get a little Wayne on it. Let's
let's get jayd on it, you know what I mean,
like that type of thing. He um uh, that's gonna
help that out. I mean it might just be dope
on its own, but his you know the fact that

(23:43):
he's an R and put it out on Instagram like
he did. That's that's gonna be huge for the album.
It probably already has been. Oh no, it's definitely gonna
be a major push. Definitely. Clue. We got former receivers
NFL network analyst Tory Gurley, and he wanted to ask
you something, clue. It's a lot of it's a lot

(24:05):
of ball players, a lot of NBA guys dabbling into music,
And I just want to ask you a question. Who
has the best flow in the NBA you've heard of
so far? I'm you know, we see guys like Dame Dollar,
Iman Champer, he has some skills. But you know who's
impressed you the most with with their rap skills? I mean,
I mean, I'm not gonna even a lot. Dan Dollar
had some bars. I'm not gonna hold you up. Dan

(24:26):
Doller definitely had some bars. I mean he spent some
boss to me on a sidebar, you know what I mean.
But I'm actually was talking to a well known NFL
player and they want to get into a little free style.
So we canna see how that comes out. You know me,
how were an athlete can can the athlete really respect?

(24:48):
You know what I mean? In the hip hop game,
I mean, we shock sold a ton of albums, but
he was because he was almost different. Yeah, he had
a ton of gas and good production on that. But
you know what I'm say, include like, it just seemed
difficult to navigate those two worlds. Yeah. Actually, you know,
Kobe has slew me out back in the day when

(25:09):
he was doing his rap thing in the book, Kobe
slew me out to La you know, he walked out
in the studio. But he ended up dropping the records. Man,
I don't know what happened, but they did drop that
record with the eighth Wonder Beat. Oh yeah yeah. But
he didn't dropped the album a man, he had a
whole project together. He never dropped the album though. Howard's
how are his skills? Just real talk? Kobe's retired now

(25:30):
real talk, how are his skills? He was all right.
So when you sitting there with him and he like, Yo, man,
how am I stuff? You know what I mean? You know,
you just gotta be like man, Kobe trying his best. Yo.
That's dope. Man, that's dope. You know what. Man Like,
I try to keep you as real as possible with people,

(25:53):
you know what I'm saying, Like, you know what I mean,
like just in life in general, music and though if
someone comes to me to give me a demnos horrible,
I try to know that. Listen, just keep writing a
nice way. I don't try to be brutally, you know,
unless something is really horrible. I'd like y'all come on, man,
like you know what I mean, Like, don't even do it? Well, Clue,
We're coming up with the Best of Me remixed Part three. Man,

(26:13):
So we need you on the odd couple, you know,
and he gonna be you keep a day job. But
this is the thing, this is the thing I always
found so interesting is that, you know, rappers want to
be ball players, and ball players want to be rappers.
I mean it just seems like, no matter how big
they are in their own business, they the lure of

(26:35):
the other or doing something else. Did you ever feel
that way, like you wish you would have played in
the NBA or something. I mean, I just want I
just want to get out there one good time and
just cross somebody over ump shot for the game winner,
you know what I mean, just one time? I feel
you or you could be Lebron and pass the ball
and somebody else for the game winner. You know you're

(26:55):
on with the hating the hit boat DJ clue to
hate hating his brother of a. That's Rod Parker. Did you, um,
did you ever play in the NBA Celebrity Game, the
All Start Celebrity Game. Yeah, of course, I think it
was the one I found closed out the LA game
with the with the with the layout, you know, the
sailor deal they hand me on sports and all that. Oh,

(27:16):
what's the what's the stat line? Look, I don't know
the statue? Okay, who who's so among rappers? Who's the
best ball player? I mean you mean other than me? Yeah? Yeah,
take yourself out of it. Um. I mean, look, I'm

(27:38):
not gonna lie the people I play with that has
some game. Jay Cole has some game, because Brown got
some game. Um, Quavo is pretty nice. Yeah, I just
played with Quevo even though me and Travis Scott took
took out Team Me goals and uh out. Then we

(27:58):
played I think we was playing LA maybe I think
it might have been actually was him New York. We
played and me and Travis Scott took out Team Me goals.
You know what I mean? You leaven out Master Pedo.
You know when I when I personally seen Master play,
he was all right. He was cool. Yeah, he he
he thought he was better than he was. He tried

(28:20):
out for the NBA. He didn't want He had a
couple of coffee in the screen roll right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
but he wasn't NBA level. Yeah, he was. He what
he took because I did a big story on master
Pe when he when he was trying to make the
NBA for the New York Times. Yeah, right right, And
the whole impetus for him was, Man, we had this

(28:40):
celebrity game with a bunch of the NBA players and
I was getting buckets, you know, And I was like, man,
that's a whole different thing, you know what I'm saying
that right right? So, but yeah, man, you know Trin
that James he got some games. Okay, Okay, I'm not
he got some game with him, right, all right? Well, clue,

(29:01):
I know, look, last thing when you told me when
we saw each other in New York and we were texting,
and you said you had stuff to get off your
chest sports wise, So what was there anything you wanted
to say before we let you go? The only thing,
the only thing I really wanted to say. I just
feel like, you know what I mean. I just feel like,
as as sports analysts, I think the analysts need to

(29:24):
realize that it's cool to get a story on somebody.
But sometimes I just think that some of the analysts
take it a little bit too far, Like they don't
understand that the athletes that this did livelihood how they
feel they feed their families. So when they say stuff
like yo, this person needs to get fired or this
person needs to get cut, they need to take that
in perspective and think about what if someone did that

(29:47):
to them. But I'm gonna say, and you know, I'm
gonna push back. Being a journalist and I work for
the Daily News and Clime. His motto is if I'm writing,
I'm ripping, I'm just saying it goes on. It comes
with the business. And I hear you're saying if you
worked at the post office, no one's gonna write about that.
You should be firing becauld you slow with the mail.
But you can't. You can't have it both ways. That

(30:09):
you want people to buy your jersey and buying the
fame and the money. You're not getting paid minimum Wane.
You're making a lot of money and there's a lot
of stuff that's involved, and part of it is being
able to be criticized, not make it personal. But but
so when we say that a guy's not doing his
job and shouldn't be or should be let go from

(30:29):
the team, it's not him as a husband or father,
or anything like that. It's just about the work performance.
Could you get that clue? Like anytime you're in a
public job, you have a public you have a public job.
You know, so people, you know, they may love you
as a DJ, they may be critical of you, or
rappers that you know, you got a critique MCS and
you know DJ's publicly people's album. So you know what

(30:52):
I'm saying, that's really that's really what it is. Yeah,
I feel like it's like sip sloke man, you know
what I'm saying. Like I do think that. I mean,
of course y'all got to do that job as analyst
and and and as journalists, but I just feel like
sometimes be the rich, like a guy like Katie's like
one of the nicest guys, most generous guys, you know

(31:15):
what I mean, he don't bother nobody, and then to
see him get so mad like that, like you know,
I talked to I talked to him behind the scenes.
They see him so aubrey and so mad. It's like
it's I kind of frustrating when you actually know somebody
personally and you know how they are, and you know
they did stand up guy and he gets so irritated
because people get on him and asking the same questions
if they knew the answers to him. Right, he's thirty

(31:38):
thirty seconds left, you know, kad personally, I honestly can
he handle New York because you just sense he got
rabbit ears and you know how the New York media is.
Can he handle New York? Now? I think I think
he definitely can handle in New York. And one last
thing we get off, make sure you look out for
the Antonio Brown freestyle on Clue Radio coming. Okay, okay,

(32:01):
howls he confirmed out this morning. Okay, and Clue. Where
where in Queens are you from? I'm from Jamaica, Queens.
Where are you from? I'm from Springfield, Queen's Village? Baby?
All right, yeah, because I'm lending in Merrick right there?
You are? You right there? Okay? You know saying Ubus
Park right there on the corner. Yeah, of course, of course,
come on, man, that's it. Rob. Rob stayed in the

(32:23):
house of so you know he wasn't he wasn't stepping out,
are you kidding? Hey? Jambe Queens all over clun We
like you, brother man, and we'll be in touch. I
appreciate you, thank you man, my brother peace,
