The Odd Mob is a family. You look at those comments.
You guys are a family. They go at it too.
Families go at it too. Sometimes Thanksgiving dinner table, you'll
see it. Thanksgiving is always good. I don't know if
we ever have really any kind of We're just people
(01:29):
falling asleep or whatever. After that, Oh, that's the best,
right after the Bright and millsbody talking, you know in
the back in eighty nine we used to, I think
I told you before, all right, sleep in their face.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
That's where I got the mouse urinating on something from
the old head, one of your uncles or somebody else.
It was actually my ex wife's grandmother. Okay, all right,
so that's really We're at a Thanksgiving and and but
hers was a little different, and I just put a
spin on it. But we're eating or whatever, and you
know how they talk about the grandmother. She's there and
(02:05):
they act like she's not in the room right right,
So it's like, well, you know, you know, grandma can't
hear or whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
So that is like, so, you know, Grandma's like, what
do you mean I can't hear? Yes, I can't hear.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Ain't nothing wrong with my hearing, she said, In fact,
I can hear rappists on cotton.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
And so I laughed so hard.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
It was like that, so I adapted it to making
a mouse a little smaller, and then I started going
from cotton to.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
All these right right right whatever. But that's really that's
really what I got it from Thanksgiving. You sound like
she was feisty. She was. She ain't play around. Yes,
there ain't nothing wrong with my hearing. That's it, you know,
well you know, but you know the way her diabetes.
I'm hello, I'm right here. Don't give her no more
sweet potatoes. You know her feet get to act. Don't
(02:54):
tell people with my thing get to do when I'm
sitting right here. Why do people do that?
Speaker 3 (02:58):
You know?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
You know she can't drive at night, she can't see.
I can see you right now two feet away from me.
No more, wan, what do you know I'm sitting right here.
That is the funniest thing, though, I think you. I'm
sure you went through it, rob G.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Y'all have that at your family with the older people
like that, they're at the table.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
You just talk around them like that, no robery. Are
you at the place where you've become the like at times?
Not all the time, not all the time. Shout to Mama,
dad who loves the show where you become the parent
of the parent. Yes, sometimes you know what I mean?
Did you take your medicine this person? Okay, don't do that.
What time are you guys leaving?
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Now?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
You know it gets dark around seven? All right, so
you can't drive that. No, you can't drive it night.
So do this right here. Okay, let me see your phone.
Give me your phone. I'm gonna put it on your
alarm so it can you become the parent to your parents.
It's a unique thing.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
I'd have my mom set up for GPS in her car. Yeah,
and it's not like one of those garment ones. It's
in the car you just plugging.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
No, why couldn't you help me something?
Speaker 5 (03:52):
No, I can't do that, right, I'll give you the buns.
I'll give you the pancake.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Whoa, whoa.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Setting up the GPS is where I drawn the line, Alex, you.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Don't have that to you? First of all, Alex, how
you're not gonna take that when you take it up?
Every other one? But you ain't gonna take that was
the worst tomorrow time because of the the concession that
I'll give them to you. Y'all tell you odd couple
of fans. The odd mop super Bowl week is gonna
be crazy. I already know it. I'm gonna come back
(04:24):
with all the stories when we go out to eat,
going to the baby. We're just not spending five hundred
dollars at some place like And don't.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Forget Sean King will be down with the King in
about twenty five minutes.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Be First, the Bills, Yeah, Bills were coming in. They
had been playing, starting to kind of pick it up
a little bit for themselves. And you know, obviously one
of those teams that they're starting to get into that
terrier turp. You gotta show it, you gotta prove it.
You've been good. We know how good Josh Allen is.
You gotta prove it. And then they got shalapped defensively
last night. The defensive Detexans played very very well, and
(04:55):
you start to look at the stats a little bit
for Josh Allen and they they were not graty. First
of all, most he's ever been sacked in his career.
Eight times he was sacked, So that starts right there.
The defense was going crazy for the Texans. But what
I started to see rob is holding on the ball
too long. Yeah, well, leads me to my point of
(05:17):
this watching them in the conversation. We've had a couple
of time with the Bills. One of the issues that
I have with the Bills is that they are so
Josh Allen reliant. He's two and seven in games where
he doesn't score a touchdown. You know, it's like he
has to do everything the game before last. Three touchdowns
in the air, three touchdowns on the ground. He's superman.
(05:38):
He's doing it all. And I'm going to go back
to somebody who's always had his number. He has his
number in the regular season. Patrick Mahomes has his in
the postseason. We both sat here, and you know I'll
be sitting there right with you, agreeing. Patrick Mahomes looked
at the loft. The offense was off. He was trying
to make a lot happen. He was down a lot
of receivers. But one thing they could rely on was
that defense to keep them in gainst what have we
just been saying. I've been really screaming for the last year.
(06:00):
The Texans defense keeps them in games where they got
a chance to win it. At least they might lose,
at least they got a chance. And the Bills don't
have that. Josh Allen doesn't have that luxury of the
defense can just take over for me, who I was
a little off today, Turn it off, turn the ball
over a little bit. He doesn't have that. The running game.
James Cook is talented, had one hundred plus yards forty
five on one run, but they don't run the ball
(06:22):
with him. You know where we're gonna twenty five to
thirty five rushes, where we're gonna dominate the clot We're
gonna dominate the line of screamings. They don't do that.
And that's the concern to me, because if you talk
about the postseason, to win a Super Bowl, you're going
to have to win four games or three games, And
I don't think that's fair to ask Josh Allen to
be Superman for four or three games straight. Because Patrick Mahomes,
(06:46):
you like to bring it up all the time he's
won Super Bowls not playing that great. In fact, he
hasn't played great, And probably most of his Super Bowl
appearances he's been either mad or bad. Maybe one exception
once or twice. Peyton Manning, one of the greatest of
all time. Postseason ain't always that great. Super Bowls definitely
weren't always that great but yet and still super Bowl winner,
(07:07):
postseason wins. Tom Brady wasn't always the best. And that's
the thing with the Bills. To me, they're so that
much is going to be on the shoulders of Josh
Allen that that's not fair in order to make a
super Bowl run four games or three games, you know,
if you get a bye and you have to be
spectacular superman every single week, it's not fair. It's not realistic.
Most quarterbacks aren't. When you look at their super Bowl runs,
(07:30):
They've had games where they weren't that great. They have
games woo, thank god the defense came through for me.
They had games where man, we just handed the ball
off thirty five to forty times and got the job done.
So that's the one thing that worries me. Josh Allen
for the most part, has been spectacular throughout his career,
especially the last handful of seasons. But is that fair
to go into a postseason and say, all right, it's
all on you get it done for us.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Fair.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I thought he was the MVP last year.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
This is what he does, right, So every time he loses,
then you go, well, you know what, a need help?
Is he Lebron James? He don't, but when he loses,
it's too much to put on him. But that's why
he's the MVP because he gets running in. You just
said he's the best dual threat quarterback in the history
of the National Football League. So do your business win
(08:17):
a championship. You're that good, you're the driving force. I
don't want to hear any excuses. You won all these games,
rob G. Having the Bills won the most games over
the last four or five years, Like, seriously, they've piled
up the wins, they haven't won the big game. So
I don't want to hear it, come big time game
that it's not fair that he has to win by
(08:39):
hisself and he don't have any help.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
How the hell did he win MVP with no help?
He was that good.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
So now win the game, win in the win the
big game doing that Superman. Here's where that's that's all
I'm saying. But here's where that's that's not realistic. Wow,
the regular season, how many times we set up here,
rob G. We just talked about you only gotta win
game to get to the Super get to the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Right, what you're playing high caliber teams the regular season,
if you're in the AFC East, just like he has
been dominating it, just like tom Brady did dominating you
pretty much got games. Now you're poo pulling tom Brady's run.
And tom Brady absolutely had an easier run. Okay, I'm
just because he got six game. Want to hear that?
Oh no, yeah, before the season he went like this,
(09:26):
he stretched put on his helmet, that six and those
Blake wants to say, always six and oh oh we
even took the mild back.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Then all they had to do was win two games
to get to the super Bowl two.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yeah, and mind you you know, usual you're six and
oh and there's always gonna be you know, you know,
every every season you get a division. So if they
give you the bum NFC South, for instance, it was
never really you know, had bum seasons, then you get
the NFC. So all right, were gonna win at least
three for them? Now you ten and one, as off
the off the bat, you're already a really good team.
You already got a good system, good program, you know,
(09:59):
a good organization. But we already started off ten and
out ten and one. So I say that to say
sometimes you get you just beat your division, you beat
some bad teams, you get to a postseason. Now everybody
is at least good, if not good to great. That's
why I need some help. That's why I need to
lean on the defense. That's why I need to leave
on a run. That's why I need to leave. Maybe
an offensive schematics that can, you know, manipulate things, not
(10:21):
just say all right, did you see last night? They
read they always ran five times a row. Josh hellen,
here you go, run it again, run it again, run
it again, run it again. Man if y'all don't come
up with something else, and that's why they look bad,
you know again, when the team can just say, all right,
we shut him down, that's a rap. Patrick Mahomes last season,
some other teams defense is said Tom Brady. We talk
(10:42):
We talked about the start on the first half, the
first three or four of them seven rinks for him,
he was relying on special teams and defense. I'll make
a couple of plays here there. Special teams. Adam vinet
Terry one the greatest great kit all time. I'm gonna
get you down there win this for me.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
I'll tell you that Adam Vinitary could have missed two
kicks and you wouldn't even be talking about Tom Brady
like that.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
I dot, I don't have an argument, So rams totally change.
Seriously to the Panthers. I mean he had a handful
of those.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, yeah, I mean at Panthers Super Bowl, nobody remembers
that was the kicker kicked the ball out of bound,
set him up at the forty couple of pass and
then they kicked it and they lost the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yep. So again, but that's part of the game. So
that's that's just my thing. I just think for Josh Allen,
I know he has to be like man, I can't
have to do again or two and seven if he
doesn't score a touchdown, Like there's plenty of quarterbacks who
win games. They don't have to score a touchdown because again,
defense came through offense. Maybe you know, I made a
few plays, I just didn't score as a touchdown. He's
(11:42):
two and seven, like he. They are all lining up
in them and they've known this now for a handful
of seasons, which is why organizationally, rob I thought by
now they would be remedying that by now, and they haven't.
So you're saying he's not gonna win a Super Bowl.
He's not not this year. No, I mean, and I'm
just saying not this year. I can meeting next year.
They might all of a sudden back with a textans
type deef, I'll talk to you then this season they're
(12:03):
not gonna You can't do that. You can't say for
four or three games, be superman. You can't be mad.
You know they quarterbacks been mad in the postseason, you know,
I mean he won Super Bowls and Patrick Rowles might
go down to the greatest, one of the greatest, top
two three and he has not looks BC techn the
postseason games.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
In the playoffs for on all sports. We've seen that,
right in Beads Nothing, James balling out of his mind
getting that postseason Dodgers just went up, just won a
World Series. Show, Hey, Mookie and Freddie didn't hit.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Go look at it. I know they not average, like
what three runs of games? Right, they didn't hit and
they still won a World Series. I'm that my point.
The pitching was there, right, you had some time, he
had some other elements to it. You had great guys
coming off the bench. That's my point. You need other elements.
You can't judge what you're gonna do. Judge, can you
get it done every single week, every single week in
(12:57):
the postseason, of all the times of season. That's too
hard to do, all right?
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Rob G, can you get there.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Geez Louise, rob G, sit up the topic? Rob G
booked a guess.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Rob G, t Alex is gonna happen sooner than we
thought this go. Y'all ain't gonna make Thanksgiving. The blowout
is gonna happen. This is your job, Joe. It's not it.
It really is not. It is your job.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
I'm over here looking up numbers to see here for
the Josh Allen take it and what makes.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Sense on this show? This is your job, mischidu. Best
part is I said, and you know what it is,
and that's what it is, own facts, and I turned
around look at you, rob I'm looking like I'm you know,
my favorite part of this show is you looking at
rob G for this text message. That's right. Let me
(13:56):
be rob Robger. It's simple, it's YouTube is cracking up.
It's simple. It's it's so simple, rob G, rob G
text Rob's rob G? What are you doing? Bud? Mexican
is unbelievable? All the Bills ever win a Super Bowl?
Speaker 5 (14:18):
If Josh Allen doesn't play like Superman, does he have
to be the greatest player of all time every game
for them to get the job done.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
No, that's how robbed I got to be the greatest
producer of all time.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Oh that sounds like a good tease, right, very good,
rob G. You got a career. You might have a
future career as a host.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
By the way, Robin was looking to the staff for
you when you get time for it. Tom Brady has
won seven playoff games where he's thrown at least two interceptions,
three of them where he's wanted the throwing three interceptions.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Now, what I'm saying, Josh Allen gonna win a game
throwing three like no?
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Allright? Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. You are
what Robb G said. That's the tea. So it's into
it to call back. If not, we under it's a tease.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
One.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
If you didn't like to tease, you weren't teasing enoughizing it,
rob G.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Because when I give a tea. The phones light up
all right, eight seven seven ninety doine on Fox Oh yeah, let.

And I don't mean black black people shout to us,
but I'm meant black me you, Patrick, Saga, Saga, Ian everybody.
(17:34):
We got all the black hoodies all to day. They're
like black pullovers and stuff today black powerll what do
you got? G wid drop g put up the black fire,
rob gu and you lost your black cart. We told
you an mess with you no more? All right, black roommate,
he's good. You did it back in the day. What
I thought you had a black roommate? No, yeah, I did.
That's why they call him t see. Wait are you
(17:55):
for real? Because like Ian, you know, I call him
Eyvante because on your when you got the press box,
you brought in all that solfu. I see Ian. Now
the minute you eat these greens, you're not Ian no more.
Your name is Ivante and he ate you've been seeing
how you been walking ever since? Little extra swaggen as well.
All right, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. I
believe the bills are to Josh Allen light and it's
(18:17):
not fair to you can't go all the way and
win a super Bowl with that. Robb G had some
other numbers. We'll get to that. We get to that,
all right, Let's take some calls. Yep, uh, this can't
be Max and Georgia. Gout rob G.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Max?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Is this Max and Georgia? You're in the couple of
Fox Brus radio. What's up, my man? Long time man.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Listen, it's good to hear you.
Speaker 8 (18:40):
Listen.
Speaker 9 (18:40):
I'm afraid Josh Allen is going to be Jim Kelly
whether he.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Reaches with you that.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
They did not Jim Kelly couldn't win. Listen.
Speaker 9 (18:51):
I've been saying this for a couple of years since
they lost Digs. I don't know why they don't run
twelve personnel with the roster they have and with Josh
Allen's abilities, the heavy running backs, they got the three
tight ends that could utilize with Kincaid Knox, and I
would run twelve personnel all day. If you're going to
be as predictable on the offense as you are, run
(19:13):
twelve personnel.
Speaker 10 (19:14):
Make the defense work for it.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
If we look at the forty nine Ers and the Patriots,
two teams that are known for twelve personnel, I think
both those clubs have been too numerous NFC and AFC
title games, So if I were them, I would run
twelve personnel.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
I got you. That's where you been, Matt Man.
Speaker 8 (19:30):
I've been.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
I've been coming back in and out of the country
man for work, so it's been it's been hit or miss.
I call in on trash talking tuesdays when I can,
but I'm back state side, so you'll be hearing from you,
my man.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Thank you, buddy, appreciate you. Yeah, great to hear you.
Shout out to my man. Dennis Ackerman who listened. He
told me I talked to another day. Used to work
do a show with him at LA times. He said
he listens to us all the time every day. Yeah,
but he said, but I tried. I can never get
through the phone lines always lit up. I trying to calls.
Oh man, that's good to hear that. I know it's
bad because people want to get in, but it's good
to know that you all care and try, and that's
(20:01):
when it's so shots to my man, Dennis, good dude.
Good people up there today area. Thank you. Adam in Vermont.
You're on the eye couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Adam?
Speaker 10 (20:12):
Hey, how's it going, good Man? What you got okay? Well,
there's a lot to this. I mean, the coaching thing
is in aspect. I'm wondering how healthy they are on
the front line because every time you would drop back,
those guys would be you know, Detecans were just on him,
(20:33):
like without half. What's sapon?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Well, one of them, their right tackle went down during
the game, so that was part of it.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
And they're playing the Texans too, so keep that in mind.
They're a top notch defense.
Speaker 10 (20:43):
And now I'm worried about his risk. I mean, do
we know what the dealer is there? It looks like
he got quite a risk injury.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Yeah, he got up quick, and I mean after obviously
he was hurt. He was kind of kicking his legs.
You thought something was wrong.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
Yeah, he said that his left side went numb. A
little bit his hand down, his hand went numb, and
other than that, he said he will.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
It looked like something horrible happened the way he was
reacted on the ground, I was like, oh, shoot.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Thanks for the call there. I appreciate it. What about
Andre in Massachusetts? You're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up, Dreight, how you doing?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Thanks for taking a call.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
It's obvious to me that Josh Allen has to be
Superman and he's got to be Batman. You might want
to throw an iron Man in there in order for
the Buffalo Bills to be successful. The record is what
seven and four this year? He's got eighteen touchdowns, nine interceptions.
They've been usurped by the New England Patriots. Drake May
out there stealing all his thunder and it's showing that
(21:41):
when he's not on MVP pace twenty eight touchdowns, six
interceptions last year, playing out of his absolute mind, the
Bills are not able to keep pace and a very
competitive AFC, never mind secure first round buy and that
coveted home field advantage, but make the playoffs right now.
So yes, Josh, he's being asked to do too much
(22:02):
this mom and pop operation has to befup their weapons.
We're seeing Tefon Diggs. He's had a renaissance here in
New England playing for Mike Gray, getting the best out
of him. That talent could be in Buffalo working with
Josh Allen, but they couldn't work it out. So he
doesn't have the pieces that he needs to compete the
highest level. It's gonna have to be on him to
(22:23):
play out of his mind that the Bills are going
to break through and win a Super Bowl and pulling
for him, but doesn't look good. Thanks taking the call.
Speaker 3 (22:29):

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Fucky flash Back Friday. So what we're doing would take
a few more calls. Talking about Josh Allen. My whole
point was he's just there too reliant. He has to
do everything that's not fair. That doesn't happen. If you
look at the history of quarterbacks, No, they don't always
have played great all the way through a playoff Super
Bowl run. What did that guy MVP last year went
a MVP of a super Bowl and can't win when
(23:00):
it's all on you, Rob g, give me some more numbers.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Well, first off, it's funny that you mentioned that, Rob
because the youtubeians the odd Mob are going off and
there's a lot of back and forth about this topic.
Of course, Josh Allen and and the Bills and the
MVP keeps coming up in some conversation, and the it
seems like the debate is, Josh Allen, if you are
the MVP, you should be able to overcome that. But
(23:26):
then the flip side of that is that's why he
is the MVP, because when he doesn't have it going,
the team sucks.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
You see what they are, so on the same coin
there being discussed, they're not wrong at all. But even
when he's good or great, right, Robins, that's.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
A good point because you mentioned, Hey, you can't win
in Super Bowl unless he's Superman every single game. The
problem with that for Buffalo is he mostly has been
Superman in the playoffs and it didn't matter, right, twenty
five touchdowns, four picks in his postseason career.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Point, No, but I'm just saving TVC has no help.
That's my point, top Lebron. Everything is no help when
he loses in the post scene and in the.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
Games that he loses. Nine touchdowns through the air, two interceptions.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
That's not that bad.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
That's not bad at all when you consider if you
look at Patrick Mahomes that's in the Super Bowl, ten touchdowns,
seven picks, and he's got three rings.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
He's got the luxury of saying thanks for bailing me out. Well,
he has been bailed out. We talked about that as well.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Lamar Jackson won a playoff game one hundred and seventy
nine yards passing, no touchdowns, one pick.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
That's what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Let me tell you Tom Brady won a Super Bowl,
the second one against the Rams, the last one with
New England, no.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Touchdowns, an interception in the fumble.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
Tom Brady has won seven playoff games throwing at least
two interceptions. Three times he's won throwing three interceptions.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Let me tell you that was a bad one with
the three interception. Yeah. But that's my point, bro, that
he can't he doesn't have that luxury. He don't have
the special team luxury, or the running game luxury, or
the defense luxury. It's what you're gonna do, That's it.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox We've got a
few more calls we can get in. How about Rock
and Rodney in Waco, Texas rocking, You're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
What's up?
Speaker 11 (25:19):
Hey, good England fellas. How So, if they're gonna ask
Josh Allen do that, he probably needs a little bit
of a bumping piety. As for what I'm thinking, he make.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
A ton of money. I don't know what does he
make Josh Allen? I know he's up there because he's
not he's like top four or five. I have to
look it up exactly, but he's Yeah.
Speaker 11 (25:42):
About when you're multitasking, you know, you should get paid
a little bit better.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, that's true, like in radio when you're carrying a
radio show and you're doing all this stuffing.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Oh, I'm sorry, you're right. Let me let me ask
my let me have my agent call Scott. Scott expect
to call all on Monday. All right, thanks appreciating the call.
Appreciate you were you were right? Aloe Oh yeah, oh yeah,
I need a raise. That's the right lion.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Let me Ronnie all right, rob G again, we've told
you about this.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Rob G just wrote on here.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Ronnie in Long Island You're never in Long Island.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
What are you, rob g You're on Long Island.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Yes, Ronnie on Long Island. You're in the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Ronnie?
Speaker 10 (26:33):
You know it's Ronnie from Long Island.
Speaker 11 (26:34):
I'm saying.
Speaker 10 (26:35):
We beat Mahomes, we beat Lamar.
Speaker 8 (26:37):
You're talking them up.
Speaker 10 (26:39):
Let me know what it is.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
All right? But what do you want? Are they gonna
win a super Bowl?
Speaker 10 (26:45):
We're gonna win the super Bowl.
Speaker 11 (26:46):
You guys are talking trash.
Speaker 10 (26:47):
We beat both of them.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Okay? Is he talking dad in two fifty? No to
what is it? Now? We'll get you on the subwhere
you hate it all you want. Okay, Hedip, who is
the I'm legitimy asking who's the team? I don't know
who he's talking about. Buffalo's He's a Buffalo living on
Long That's what I said. I don't know who is
(27:10):
You know, he could be the Giants, So I don't know.
He talking all right, the Bills. How lame is that? Yeah?
He's not even upstate New York. He must be from there,
I mean, but he's want of some good football. They
always say that, you know, Buffalo is the only team
in New York because the other two in New Jersey.
Speaker 5 (27:27):
It's almost as bad as Rob growing up in Queens
and being.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
A Yankee fans not crazy.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
I used to take the train to Shape Stadium. I
was not a Yankee fan when I was up before
when the.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yankee started winning, But then when the nineties happened, and
I said to myself, it was running the pick of
my car. Here you guys, you please, I told you.
The worst thing that happened to you is we got YouTube.
Now they can see you nineteen eighty six. Is this anomaly? Uh?
In Idaho? Anomaly? You're on the couple of Fox. What's up?
Speaker 8 (28:04):
Happy Flashback Friday?
Speaker 2 (28:06):
So thank you, no doubt. Have a happy Thanksgiving to
next week.
Speaker 8 (28:11):
Well you too. Now look, I just want to talk
off topic that you've been talking about Josh Allen, and
you're right, Kelvin, he has to do everything. Anyway, Guys,
I listened to you every night. I love this show.
And Rob G. How do you do it?
Speaker 10 (28:29):
Alex?
Speaker 8 (28:31):
You're a hidden talent?
Speaker 10 (28:32):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Oh well, everybody listen to that. Very nice go ahead.
I want you to big up Alex and Rob G.
And we appreciate that you listen to the show every night.
What do you what do you mean, Alex? No, I'm
asking what does Alex who say he's a hidden talent.
Speaker 8 (28:48):
He's so damn funny. I just love this spont eanty
of your show. I just love it anyway, Thank you, Rob, Yes, Rob,
I started?
Speaker 10 (29:00):
Did you of you playing softball?
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Uh? Huh?
Speaker 8 (29:02):
I mean you're quite an absolute? Did you play any
other recreation sports?
Speaker 2 (29:08):
No? It was really you know what that sounds like?
A no?
Speaker 11 (29:11):
No?
Speaker 2 (29:11):
No, it was.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
It was a softball a matter of fact, FS one
had a softball team and I used to leave here
and go play back in the day before.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Who was good aside from you? You were the Aaron judges?
Oh yeah that was I wasn't there judge because I
wasn't hitting any home runs. But we appreciate the call,
no doubt. Yes, good stuff, good stuff. I want to
see some video evidence of this softball team. You didn't
see it, Rob G. You've seen it on Twitter?
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Right?
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Me getting a nice double? U turn a nice double
into a single like that. I couldn't get to say, hey, listen,
I don't need you blowing out no hamstrings for real?
All right? On the way we have h somebody. I
think this is one of the rare times you and
I will agree that it's time for them to hang
up the cleats. We'll talk about that. It's diaca.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
But Fox Sports Radio I'll give you the buns. I'll
give you the.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Fox Sports Radio. It's the odd couple. Robin Kevin. I like,
I'm in a disco right here. Hey, funky flashback Friday,
get it skate? Hey, could you skate a little? That's
the one thing I was.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
I would go on a Friday night to try to
skate with the with the women.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
You know, tight pants, tight pants. It wasn't always good,
but I did. Yeah, I was never great. It'd be late.
It was a place to be, without a doubt. Man,
when you were like fifteen sixteen and like nineteen twenty years.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
I used to get on the roller coaster and all
that stuff too, and then trying to get to the lady.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah you know what I mean, Like they want to
go you like, can't be like that. I ain't like
what you're not getting on? Like I forget that, dude. Yeah,
that's what the context of these things are. Like I
remember why I said that one too, but it just
doesn't even matter at this point. Loosen them pants. You
got loosen pands? Yeah, well you pants? Yours were tighter
(31:05):
mind tighter pads. Loosened to shorter shorts for over the
cargo shorts. For over forty years, tire rack has been
helping customers find the right tires for what, how and
where they drive. Ship fast and free back by free
road has the protection with convenient installation options like mobile
tire installation. Yes, they will come to you tire rack
dot com. The way tire buying should be, by the
(31:27):
way with roller skating, imagine cool radio guy, this is
twenty years ago. Hey, you got a hosted event and
there's gonna be five hundred teenagers at this roller skating ring.
It was the place to be lit and they had
this is they had an artist coming everything, and then
they clear out the entire skating ring. Rob coming out
(31:49):
now to host the dance contests for Club ninety three
seven K dumb and I have to come out there
and can't skate and I had to skate out to
the middle of that rink in front of everybody and
had to act like I was a nervous rob I've
been more. I have done, you know how a career.
I've done a lot of things. Never been more nervous
than that. I believe four or five hundred kids turn
around a skink, all of our arms on the thing,
(32:10):
just rustling, no waiting to hear what I gotta say.
And I had to roll out their bikes and You're like,
I had to hit the brake. So I was so nervous,
rob Oh, it was terrified, all right. Somebody, their coaching
staff and themselves. He says, I might want to stick
around for another year. You and I have talked about
it before. That's Travis Kelce, rob Ge. Travis Kelsey's talking
about He's undecided about next year.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
Yeah, after before last Super Bowl, you recalled, before the
Eagles went.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
It was an open secret.
Speaker 5 (32:35):
Anybody who knew anything around the team, nationally or locally,
all said, hey, this is gonna be Travis Kelsey's last game.
Everybody anticipating it, teammates anticipating it. He's gonna go out
on top with the three p They get their doors
blown off. So he says, you know what, I can't
go out like that. Got to run it back twenty
twenty five. This season, his numbers are way up from
last year, but the team's much worse than they were
(32:55):
last year. So now he's telling his brother Jason on
their podcast, I think I might play again next season,
but I'm gonna wait to make the final decision until
March before free agency.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
I'm okay with meaning move on. It's okay, No, I'm
done with that Hecker for career. He's thirty six, thirty six,
and he's lost the step. He's missing blocks. Now, he's
had a couple of touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Even this year, right, but they're five and five? Ye
like like they might not. So so you played a
little bit better, right, you did? Because last year.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Was awful and and they are they're airing it out
more right than this year. Here's what I would have
need for him if I'm Andy Reid and or the
offensive coordinator. I'm part of this organization. I'm saying this, Look,
you can be our version of Jared Dudley or Juwan Howard.
Remember when Juwan Howard was on the Miami he as
a player for like twenty seven years, but he never played.
He was just out there and if it was garbage time,
(33:48):
maybe go get a couple of minutes. Well, he had
all that money to pay the twentything, eighteen twenty million
whatever it was, that deal right there, Oh he won,
he won. I'm gonna say, man, we got some other
tight ends we're trying to develop. We know, we got
some other guys who are more athletic. Who are you know,
hungary at this point, so Troopol needs a job as
a that was there's a few times in life we
(34:10):
all go this is gonna be horrible as it goes
into it. We knew, we all knew. So if he
wants to do that, just know your playing expectation has
to be minimal, like we we don't need you for
that at this way. In fact, the opposite, we're trying
to build up other guys we can maybe there's another
Travis Kelsey sitting in our tight end room that we
can get you to.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Me they don't make the playoffs, it would be weird. Okay,
so to come back and then what if it's worse
next year?
Speaker 2 (34:34):
You know what I mean? Like like okay, the wheels
are off now like like I'm saying, I don't mind
if he's there for your third string, like you're there
to teach guys how to practice.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
There to teach guy like he's he's not break with
star wife. He makes a gazillion dollars. You got that podcast.
He ain't playing.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Well then he then I'm okay, okay, but you know,
I want to find my next dude. I want to
find my concaid, my my, you know.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
These you can't see him being like, oh, I'm a
player's coach, jump third string. I'll go in there once
in a while. I just don't see it.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
Right.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
You better get ready to host the game show, you know,
you better get ready to go get me. You know
he's been in a movie or two. Go you go
get winn an oscar. Because it's the thing that is obvious.
He and Patrick Mahomes aren't quite on the same page anymore.
Something's like they're missing each other. He turns left, Patrick
through it, right. I mean they've had some plays where
(35:23):
you're like, dude, that never happens. And I'm not saying
it's gonna be easy.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Every time there was that interception, right or what was
it against the Eagles bounce off. Yeah was that the Eagles?
What game was that? I don't think it Egles, But
he just was a bad interception. Oh yeah yeah when
it came in hot, but he was supposed to catch that.
I remember that one. Yeah, yeah, you still got to
come down with that. And he's just he's just.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
This is what happens when anybody with age, right, when
you're playing a sport, right, you lose a step. You're
not quite as quick sports. I fut you out, I
said sports, all right, you know I think they about
my fastball. I want you to know. Yeah, I mean
a good like eighty four miles, like festive. Like if
we say in like a college fastball, you got it.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
You know what's crazy is I can hear people in
their cars and on YouTube saying, how are you gonna
say that he's not good?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
This season?
Speaker 5 (36:11):
He leads the team in targets and first downs and
touchdowns and yards all the different things. This is one
situation where if you're box score watching, then you don't
know what you're talking about, right, because anybody who's watched
them play can tell you Travis kelcey is.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Has lost several step. He's addressings yes, yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
So it's interesting that this came out two days after
CBS Sports speaks to a handful of coaches and execs
about what's gone wrong with Kansas City. To a man,
every single person says, the biggest problem is they're older,
They're slower. Travis hel do you're some quotes from NFL people,
This is not Robin Kelvin. Kelsey's nowhere close to the
(36:51):
player he wasn't twenty three. And that guy's nowhere close
to the guy he wasn't twenty one. He's in a
free fall from a skills standpoint.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
They see it.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Kelsey is diminishing, not his potent as he once was.
So if you just look at the stats, like, oh,
he's great, of course we want him back. No, no, no,
you know what it's.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Like, seriously, and I'm not trying to be funny. It's
even like Lebron's numbers, Like he has these numbers, but
the impact isn't the same.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Would you would you agree with that? You know what
I mean?
Speaker 1 (37:16):
Like he's filling up the statue and you go, oh,
Lebron's still averaging twenty six or twenty seven whole, and
it's forty years old.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
The impact isn't the same. I think Lebron still impacts
more than Travis. But I'm your point there just looking
at the box school.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
He can't just look at the box school, no, because
Lebron gives you nothing on a defensive end. And we
saw Travis Kelce. What was that play this year where
he's standing there was that the Super Bowl? Was at
Super Bowl. He's standing there at midfield not doing anything.
Patrick Mahomes is running around, He's just standing there. He's
not even looking to block somebody. So that Patrick Mahomes
(37:54):
could maybe give him more time to make a throw
or run, you know, a run the other way or something.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
He's and remember, he's you know, and I don't want
to bring this in the sense that I know he
didn't mean it and it probably hurt him emotionally to
but he's the reason Rashid Rice was hurt. Was out
or we're worthy? I'm sorry? Was it worthy? It was worthy?
Remember he run first couple of play Boom runs into Worthy,
tears him up. He's out four handful of weeks. So
he's just he's just not And it happens again, especially
(38:21):
when you were here, right, one of the best ever
he's thirty six, you played a bunch of football. You
played in the playoffs so many times. He's probably added
another season or so. This is what expected I mean,
so I'm not mad. If he retires Hall of Famer
first ballot, heck of a career. They might need to
start moving on. It's that time to consider it.
