Speaker 2 (00:19):
You're listening to the best of the Odd Couple.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
This is a really serious story. We went on it
all week.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Officially, former University of Michigan head football coach Aran Moore
has been charged with a felony third degree home invasion
and two misdemeanors stalking in a domestic relationship and breaking entering.
Now here's the details, just so you know, this is
very serious stuff. According to the prosecutors, Moore barged his
way into the woman's apartment, which we find out is

(00:49):
a Michigan staffer that he was having relationship with, went
to a drawer in the kitchen, grabbed several butter knives
and a pair of kitchen scissors before threatening to take
his own life. According to the report, Moore had an
intimate relationship with the woman he worked with for a
number of years before she broke up with him on Monday. Now,
according to multiple outlets, there had been rumors of a

(01:11):
relationship between More and this staffer for a long time.
The school investigated it, but because both parties denied any relationship,
nothing ever came of it.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Once she broke up with him.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
She came back with the receipts, according to this report,
had a flurry of calls and texts that she did
not return.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
He started to get very aggressive with her. Then she
went to the school and reported the relationship. Here's the details.
This is what led to him ultimately being fired. Flash
forward to Wednesday. He breaks into her house, gets into
the kitchen, the knives and the scissors, forced entry into
her home and said, quote, I'm going to kill myself.
I'm gonna make you watch. My blood is on your hands.

(01:49):
You ruined my life.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Carry I'm gonna say this, and we're gonna take this
to the next step. Obviously there's a whole legal process
and things that have to go there. So we're gonna
take it to the future of Sharon Moore and where
he goes from here. You know, once he can clear
these other hurdles and about his future, because he just said,

(02:13):
my life is ruined and and other coaches have bounced back.
Rob Gi We've talked about this and names Rick Patino
allegedly had sex with one of his assistant coaches wives,
you know, like Bobby Petrino had his girlfriend on the
back of a motorcycle that had an accident. That's how
they found out about his thing. Yep, you mayo dooka

(02:37):
obviously in Boston with what an executive's wife or something
or someone who worked with the Celtics. Now he bounced back,
he had another job. He's in Houston or whatnot. And
Bobby Petrino and all these other people got other jobs.
And then we start to look at Sharon Moore and
say will he be able to bounce back from this?

(02:59):
And I will look in the camera and say, I
do not believe he will be able to.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Bounce back from this.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
I thought early on that there would be a chance
that he could work at a smaller school, not a
a blue blood. And he got the Michigan job because
it was written in to Jim Harbaugh's contract. This wasn't
like he got it on his own and he was
his own man. And I'm not knocking them. Fifteen years
he put in but that's how he got the job exactly.

(03:27):
And I think not the affair or the firing from Michigan,
it's the felony and what followed that will make it
very difficult carry for somebody else to stand up there
at a podium and introduce this guy as a head
coach to a football program around young people and trying

(03:50):
to be a leader of men when allegedly he broke
into her house and threatened to kill her and him.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I don't know how you shake that.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
And I'm not saying he can't go on or it
can't be rehabilitated, but I'm just saying, in that job,
you have to find a different line of work. I
can't see him being a leader of men at a
college institution around young people, just.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Put I would say this, I'm going to put aside
any of him coaching again. Ever, that's the furthest thing
from my mind in this situation when it comes to
this scenario. Right, like humans us as men, we put
ourselves in these situations where.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
We're not.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
Steadying who we are and steadying what we're trying to achieve.
As men, if you're steadying who you are and you're
steadying what you're trying to achieve things like this. Slip
ups like this won't happen. Obviously, there's underbelly stuff going on.
There's secret affairs, there's things that are happening in this situation.
In this case that it's none of our business. But

(04:55):
when you do what you did in the follow up
what you just said, I'll say one thing, go ahead,
we'll push back, go ahead. It is the university's business.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
No universe at our business.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Yeah, but I'm saying that's why it's public because they
have to fire him.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
And what people don't understand. I hear this all the
time for people. What to it those doing their own bits?

Speaker 6 (05:16):
No, no, no, no, not in a work situation where
someone is a superior and somebody's a subortin you carry,
if you're my boss, you now have control over my livelihood,
over you know, raises, promotions and if you know I'm
a female and you make an advance of me and

(05:36):
I say no, you could have me demoted, you could
have me fired, You could have So that's why in
a business setting, okay, if me and you are on
equal footing, there's no problem. People give they say, twenty
five percent of marriages, people meet at work.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
I believe that, right.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Okay, so that but we're doing the same job. You're
not my boss, yes, And that's all I'm saying. That's
the only reason that that's not that's public and that's.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Fine, but I'm not speaking on that specific thing. So
it's like, yeah, we're talking about work setting, and you know, hierarchy,
that's a different thing. Obviously we've seen in our in
my business right in the entertainment world, Like the hierarchy
thing is a real thing, and like people people have good, yes,
and they do.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
The boss of CNN got fired, the boss of NBC.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
They all had, you know, like a consentual relationship, but
it was with a subordinate and they still got fired.

Speaker 7 (06:24):
And that's the point. So like that happens, and I
know that, I know that's a real thing. I'm talking about.
This is a relationship that we just said, it was reported,
it's been going on for a while. This isn't something
like a flame, This isn't something that's a quote unquote
affair either. It seems like people knew that this was
going on. So I'm saying, like for us, we didn't
have to. That's we've seen that all the time. We
see that, right, but the fact that he's taken it

(06:46):
to the next level of now allegedly haradually harassing this
woman and showing up to her house and doing these
extracurricular things to really heighten this situation even more. You
talked about it former coach Bobby Petrino, this happened to him.
I say it, I know what it is, but those

(07:06):
things happen. I think people are forgiven about those things
because it is things that have happened. But when you
do it and take it the extra step that you
just said, that's the part where're scared. I'm scared for
him as a human not I mean his family, his wife,
his kid, kids, like the people that supported him, even
though John even Jim Harball right like putting himself on
the ledge and putting this guy in that position right

(07:26):
then doing that. So as a man, we gotta we
gotta be able to understand what we're trying to accomplish
and who we're and who we're supporting and who we're
being there for. Because even outside of yourself and your
mental health and the things that he has to go
over and get, you know, really do some work on
now there's ancillary pieces of this thing that gets affected
by this thing. And so that's what I'm really I'm

(07:49):
really down on about this whole situation.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Rob. Yeah, it's it's a it's a sad story.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
I don't care anybody to see somebody's life flipped in
less than twenty four hours.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Is in credible, Like, Okay.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Yes, what happened is embarrassing, and you got to face
all these people, your minister, your family, everybody, like everybody,
it's embarrassing. I get all that, Yes, but then to
take it to the next level where you get the
police involved, and now you get charged with a felony
and was it felony and two misdemeanors or yeah right, yeah, yeah,

(08:21):
Like that's the scary part because now you could do
jail time.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Yes, and you're not forget the head coaching job. That's
that's not happening.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
He may come back and as an assistant down the line,
possibly if somebody gives him a chance, But who's gonna
give him a chance, who's gonna trust him?

Speaker 6 (08:35):
See that that that's he would to me without the
second part of the story. Yes, would be able to
get another job because there's a big fraternity and they
take care of each other.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Yes, Rick Patino, he had prostitutes.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Both of them were at my school at Louisblle. So I.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Mean, I mean seriously, like Rick Patino, and he went
down and he coached some smaller schools.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
But now he's back at Saint John's. He's in the
Big East.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
He got a big job, yep, and he had prostitutes
in the basketball doing like seriously.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
But again, see those things are allegedly.

Speaker 7 (09:15):
That's allegedly until you know, you know what I'm saying,
and until you do the extra step what Sharam just did,
like we know, it's a real thing.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Maybe I'm wrong.
I'm gonna say I can't see him getting another job.
I can't not with the chargers that follow this. That
that's the part. And I'm not saying he can't work
or do something else, but I don't see if these

(09:49):
chargers stick and he has to you know, whatever the
outcome is just the idea. When you hear the details,
it's scary. It's scary. Rob I'm and just for his
his mental health. If he's he's walking up to her
and telling her that he's gonna take his life because
of this and those certain things like you gotta pay
attention to the individual here, and if he's crying up

(10:10):
with help that way, that's the scary part for me too.

Let's hear from the King none other than Show Sean,
What's happening?

Speaker 9 (11:07):
What's up fellas?

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Sean?

Speaker 3 (11:09):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Brother?

Speaker 1 (11:09):
You?

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Hey?

Speaker 9 (11:12):
I can't complain?

Speaker 6 (11:14):
When are you going to be a starting quarterback in
the NFL because anybody they're putting people in who are
forty four years old, got nineteen kids out of shape
all that.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
How ludicrous is this.

Speaker 9 (11:28):
It's extremely ludicrous, but it's also the best thing that's
ever happened to the game of football. It's a direct
shot at all of the parents that have kids in
middle of high school that are paying all this money

(11:50):
for these quarterback coaches that are teaching their kids nothing
about how to play the quarterback position at a high level.
That's what this is about. There are so few quarterbacks
that the NFL thinks are capable of helping them actually
win a game that they went and got a guy
that's my age to by pass being eligible for the

(12:14):
Hall of Fame to come at and play well.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
First of all, he wasn't getting in the Hall of
Fame on the first ballot anyway, So I like I
hear people say, oh, I can't believe he's doing that.
He's not a first ballot Hall of Famer. Okay, he
never won anything. But my disrespect to the game, though,
is the idea that you could put a forty four
year old guy who hasn't played in five years. That's
disrespectful to the game. That's the issue that I have.

Speaker 9 (12:40):
No no Rob. First of all, you don't know he
wasn't gonna get in because you only have one vote. Secondly,
he wasn't getting in. But what it's the first of all,
it wouldn't be the first person that got in and
too them vote for No.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
No, he wasn't getting in. I'm sorry you.

Speaker 9 (12:58):
Can't definitively say that. But it's more a direct attack
of the evolution of the quarterback position, and so to
the Steph Curry has changed basketball, Patrick Mahomes has changed quarterback.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Son, why do you now, Son, why do you think
the quarterback?

Speaker 7 (13:20):
Why do you think the quarterback position has changed so
much and so drastically that you need a fact that
these guys can't run and can't read coverages?

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Now, what's going on with that?

Speaker 9 (13:28):
So it has nothing to do with that component. It's
the fact that people have monetized training the best and
brightest and most talented quarterbacks in this country, and in
order to justify what they're getting, they mimic the Patrick
Mahomes top ten plays, the Josh Allen top ten plays,

(13:51):
mimick the Lamar Jackson top ten plays. What they don't
do is say, let's analyze Joe Burrow from the waist down,
from start to finish. They don't go back and say,
none of these guys that are training quarterbacks now utilize
Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

Speaker 6 (14:10):
Kilm Well, but doesn't the Peyton many have a quarterback
school or something. I thought they have a school for quarterbacks.

Speaker 9 (14:18):
No, they've got like something that goes on in Louisiana
where they get like called the top college and high
school quarterbacks. But that's not like something that Peyton's actually
developing the kids. Those are kids that are already on
the radar if they get to come to a camp
and do something from the state of Louisiana.

Speaker 6 (14:34):
We want to ask you about Joe Burrow. Sound like
somebody ready to retire. He's twenty nine, making a gazillion
dollars and not having fun play football.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
That's what he said. What did you hear?

Speaker 9 (14:46):
What I heard was I'm saying the head coach and
the GM are two individuals that I don't want to
be attached to moving forward.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
But wait a minute, let me just push back.

Speaker 6 (15:00):
He's the one who went out of his way to
push for the two receivers to get paid.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Okay, you need to be protected. What about the offensive line?

Speaker 6 (15:09):
Now you want, you wanted your weapons, but there was
no money to take care of protecting you. Come on, man,
you're culpable. You can't act like it's just the front
office in them. Why did they need to sign both
of those guys and spend all that money on receivers
when you can't protect the quarterback.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Come on, Sean, I'm.

Speaker 9 (15:29):
Glad you brought that up, Rob, because this is a
problem in sports overall. At some point, the adults in
the room have to actually adult. Yes, right, So I
don't care what Joe Burrow thinks, like if I'm a
GM of the Bengals, like what's best for us to
have a confetent football team, not football offense in college.

(15:52):
I'm not letting my players vote on if we're going
to a bowl game because I'm the adult in a room,
and I understand the bowl game is about two things,
about rewarding the seniors for everything that they put into
college football, understand that they may not ever play this
game again. And it's also an opportunity to forget me
to get my young players who are going to be
here next year from full contact eleven or eleven practice,

(16:15):
we're starting. So sometimes the adults in the room got
an adult and I feel like that's what's missing in
the game of football from top to bottom. The adults
are acquiescing to the younger individuals, whether they be teenagers,
whether they be college age kids, whether they be pros. Like,

(16:35):
at some point, adults got to start adulting. It's not
your it's not up to you. Like ro, when did
your parents have to ask you, well, what do you
think about this?

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Never?

Speaker 5 (16:44):
They never even asked me what did I want for dinner?

Speaker 6 (16:47):
Or you know, like like this is dinner tonight, that's
what we're having exactly.

Speaker 9 (16:52):
Yeah, if the Bengals hire me, I would invite Joe
Burrow into the room and say, listen, and I think
you're a great quarterback. Is what we're gonna do. I
want you to trust me to be a great gym.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
Yeah, give me bright Like.

Speaker 9 (17:04):
I'm just like, I'm gonna trust you to be a
great quarterback. I like that ask your opinion. I wanted.
If I don't ask your opinion, I don't need it
and I'm not gonna accept it.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
I like that.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
I like that, Sean, let's talk about quarterbacks. We still
since you're here and what's going on with Lamar? Have
you checked out any of this tape recently? I mean
he hasn't hasn't been very accurate here in the last
since he's gotten back from injury. Have you looked at
anything or detected anything about his play here recently?

Speaker 9 (17:30):
For the other but context, he's a two time MVT yep.
But he's never been an accurate quarterback. He's always gotten
away with it because he's been the best athlete on
the field, regardless of position. So the first time in
his career he's had sustained injuries, not incapable of playing,
but he's not the best athlete on the field. And
here's where it goes back to I don't think Lamar's

(17:53):
ever been really coached by coach, meaning like when we
come from practice, I don't care to win. Well, your
fundamentals were bad on nine or the ten completions, and
as we get older, you have to rely on fundamentals.
It's not about this talent. Because the talent starts to age,

(18:13):
it starts to diminish, and then what do you fall
back on. It's why Brady and Peyton won champion themselves
later in their career.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
No, no, no, don't give me, don't get me paid, don't
give me Peyton. Payton had ninety eight yards, he had
an interception, and he didn't play well.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
That was a defensive super Bowl.

Speaker 9 (18:31):
We're talking about fundamentals.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
I'm just saying it.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
Don't act like he quarterbacked inmto a super Bowl. He
was the ten man in that game. We couldn't come on.
That was that was a parting gift. All right, let's
go here.

Speaker 6 (18:44):
I want to talk about Patrick Mahomes speaking of aging
quarterbacks and how how bad. Well before the season started,
I said they wouldn't make the playoffs. Sean uh that
they play the Chargers. What do you got for me?
With the Chiefs six and seven? Just really bad games?
In that four touchdown game against the what was that
against Dallas that they lost, He's really been bad. He's

(19:07):
got three touchdowns I think, and six interceptions in the
other four games. So it's really really been a rough
patch for Patrick Mahomes. What do you see here?

Speaker 9 (19:16):
First bat of Hall of Famer.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Well, we're not talking about we're not talking about their strength.

Speaker 9 (19:21):
I can't talk if you go ahead, go ahead, first
first battle. Hall of famer. Not very good right now.
I'm let's say some Aaron Rodgers. But Aaron Rodgers is
age base. Patrick Mahomes a performance base. They got everybody healthy,
but you can't they they don't have talent like they
got they be worthy. Thank you Rice, like Hollywood Brown,

(19:44):
like Juju sus, mister Travis Kelsey like even if some
of those guys are out in their prime, they got
more guys than almost every other team in that's football league.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
It is amazing happened.

Speaker 9 (19:55):
What's happened is Patrick Mahomes and his pettiness change the
entire way the National Football League view contract on the quarterback.
They made a conscientious effort to say we're going to
protect the quarterback at all costs. And Patrick Mahomes kept
pushing the line. He kept pushing the line. I'm gonna,

(20:17):
you know, like I'm gonna go out of bounce and
get tim on y'all, like I'm gonna slide and run.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
I hate it.

Speaker 9 (20:23):
Now, guess what, everybody's on patching Mahomes and he's not performing.
So guess what. He's in no doubt Hall of famer,
but he's now playing for Mount Westnore. I think the truth.
Don't have emotions, is it's the truth? Right? Patrick Mahon's
not very good right now. Not saying he hasn't been

(20:44):
great up to this point in his career. Right now,
he's not very good. Watch the game.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
No, I agree, and people and a lot of people
don't want to criticize him, and I get it because
of his resume. But we're talking about not a lifetime
achievement of what we're talking about. To hear and now,
thanks Sean, All good, my man, appreciate you.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (21:03):
Hey, before we leave the match, gotta be the dumbest
organiza in the world. Would you play one Soto and
then decide we're not going to keep the closer and
we'll let Peter Alzo walk.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
All right, I'll see you guys later on Fox Sports
Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation.

and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to listen live.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
Rob Guh. Some executives have their thoughts about this as well.
NFL executives.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
The Athletic did a good piece on Friday discussing Philip
Rivers upcoming. I guess debut you would call it with
Inneapolis Colts after five years, I would call it a day, both,
the renaissance, whatever you want to call it. They spoke
to nine anonymous coaches and executives to get their thoughts
in his return. Three of them said like, hey, let's
wait and see. They try to be optimistic. Six of

(21:57):
them said this is going to be a terrible. One
of them saying, quote, fun story, really fun story, but
I think it's going to be a disaster. Another execs says,
looking at their schedule, it's not gonna work. They have
a tough row with really good defenses. Philip is a
sitting duck, and Carrie, I'm with them. I think this

(22:19):
is terrible. This is so Indianapolis coach.

Speaker 6 (22:23):
There's a reason that teams don't win, you know, like
they say, oh we're snake bit or we got bad luck,
or there are reasons that teams don't win. When they
hired Jeff's Saturday with no experience, seriously and they tried,
they were gonna be oh no, And then a lot
of players, former players, they all they who was it?

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Bill Cower on CBS. I lost a lot for Bill.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
I remember that.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
First he condemned it because it and he should have
because it goes against all the people put into work
to be conscious or qualified for him to skip the
line because he was drinking buddies with the late owner
of the Colts.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Like he condemned it.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Then they won their first game, and then he went
on CBS and oh he beat.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
The Raiders and he went, oh, yeah, I'm all over.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
It's about being a leader, man, and you know, and
and all this stuff. And as you remember, the season
collapsed after that. It was awful. What was that game
where they were up by thirty points and they remember
that game? They lost that game, but but really really
bad And in this case, this is why the Colts
are bad.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
So they had this great start of season.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
I get it, Danny Dimes whatever you want to call it,
Danny Pennies whatever. He was already you know, on his
way down as far as the style of play and
how well he was doing. But there's nobody else to quarterback.
You go get this is like a forty four year
old guy hadn't played in the league in five years,

(23:59):
and you're going to him out there with this hope
that he's going to be he's going to buck the trend.
He's going to bring you some magic juju. He's gonna
somehow turn this will be a disaster. I sat on
this very radio show with Mike Tyson for Jake Paul
and people, Rob g how many people called in? Right

(24:21):
you were you? You bought in? People just all bought in.
Oh my god, Mike, do you look see Mike Tyson
on the internet. Look at him. He's in great shape, dude. No,
he's a sixty year old man fighting at thirty year
old man.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yes, let's not in.

Speaker 6 (24:36):
The NFL the best players in their twenties and thirties.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
Yeah, yeah, no, this this is not gonna this is
not gonna end. Well, Rob, this guy is the same
He came out the same year I came out to college.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
That's crazy.

Speaker 7 (24:51):
And I'm sitting here with you and I look like
I'm in sape at least, right, And I know I
can't go out there and do it, and you and
you look like you're something like and I actually still
work out and I do that. When you look at
Philip Rivers, you know he does not do that. And
so for him and for the Colts to team up
and make this thing happen and give all us old

(25:11):
guys this hope that we can go out there and
do this.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
It's just wrong. Now.

Speaker 7 (25:16):
Am I hoping for the best for Phillip because I
know him, Yes I am, But there's no way he's
gonna save this Colt season in this scenario. And with
the teams they got to play down the stretch, right,
If they were playing some lesser competition again, that may
help as well, But they're playing the Texans, the forty
nine ers, the Seahawks, and all these teams are fighting

(25:38):
for playoff position.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
They're gonna come out. Now, let me ask you, he's
gonna be a sitting duck. You're the defensive coordinator and
you have the game plan. Is it a jail break?
Are you going after him? Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (25:49):
Like? What do you do?

Speaker 6 (25:51):
Are they the Colts going to just a steady Dothan
Taylor Jonathan Taylor like every down unless they have a
third down and they need a passing play or one.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
Hundred percent if you from the Fox Sport, if you
think he's gonna go out there and dissect defenses in
day one and make every right read and be keen
and sharp enough up here to make that happen. Being
away from the game, you're fooling yourself. So they're gonna
have to be it's gonna have to be a steady
diet of Jonathan Taylor, right. But also he's gonna have
to make throws and he's coming against Seattle.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
That happens, right, But.

Speaker 7 (26:24):
They're throes that are gonna be needed needed. It's gonna
have to make some throws to win this game. And
they're not Listen again, I hope it works out, Rob,
I do. It's just not though, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
I just it's it's mind boggling to me from the
standpoint of these are multi million dollar organizations. They got
all of these people, you know how many coaches and
staff people.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
Rob. I'm sorry, Rober.

Speaker 7 (26:48):
You know the other thing about this though, they've put
all their eggs in the basket though, like they have
to win. And so when you put yourself in these
situations where there's not a want, it's a need to win.
You started out so great, you had all this all
this talk, all this buzz. You make the trades of
the Jets for sauce gardener, like you need to win.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
Now, make that trade exactly.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
I mean, seriously, I think sALS probably the bad luck
he came from the Jets, right, that's you're already probably
have done that, huh.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
And they gave up two first round picks.

Speaker 7 (27:21):
They gotta win, rob And when you were in that situation,
Christian Valerius, the GM, if this thing blows up in
their face and they, you know, lose the last four
or whatever, he doesn't play well and they need probably
need to part way, so they should fire him.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Yes, you already mortgage the future.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Right, you've done all of that, even in the Danny Dimes.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
I mean I get it, like, like, did you really
think there's too much bad tape on him out there?

Speaker 5 (27:45):
You know, to really buy in?

Speaker 6 (27:47):
And I know early on I looked at the schedule
they didn't play anybody, and I'm not I know, you
still gotta beat him to play and all that the
other stuff, But I do look at who you play
and who you beat and those kind of things, and
I'm just expecting bad.

Speaker 7 (28:02):
I'm really expecting bad. But it's not even about who
you beat. It's about how you're playing, even when you're
losing or winning. In certain situations, It's about how you
plan if you're playing the right way, that that that
takes you, you know, that carries you out a little
bit more as well. Yeah, do they make the playoffs? No,
so you say they don't even make the playoffs. Oh,
they're done right now. They're gonna finish third in that division.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Yeah, I mean the Texans. I said, the Texans is
going to win the division now as they've turned the corner.
But Jacksonville is in first place. So I mean, it's
it's gonna be tough sledding for the Colts.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
Yeah, it's it's it is such a mess.
