I really mean it. I always really mean it. But man,
I think we have some fun topics baseball, believe it

(01:13):
or not. Yes, in the snow, in the six seven
inches of snow that I am in here in New Jersey,
We're gonna talk a tad bit of baseball, football, basketball.
We of course, are unveiling the top three finishers, the
three greatest athletes of the last twenty years, as chosen

(01:37):
by the experts here at Fox Sports Radio, and you
want to recount I want to recount you, My good
you know you've been hearing us say throughout this whole thing.
What was my list? I don't remember where I put him,
but we got our list back today. And when I
tell you that I've never seen a list this bad

(01:59):
as Parker's, I mean it. You think Parker's power rankings
are bad? My goodness, right, what were you thinking? You
know me, I don't follow the herd, you know, don't
I going I'm gonna eat off to the side. I'm
gonna eat all over the place. I'm not following the herd.
You guys are headed to the slaughterhouse and I'm headed
to paradise. Yeah, you know, I always want to be

(02:24):
my own guy, do my own independent thinking. Alex who
liked that right? Being an independent thing? Yes, sir, don't
follow the herd. I'm sorry. Well, you definitely did not
follow the herd. You definitely were an independent thinker. I
will give you that. We will reveal our own list
at the end of the show, after we give the

(02:46):
official three highest finishers. At six thirty Pacific, nine thirty
eastern right here on Fox Worts Radio, keep it locked.
I heart radio app serious XM Channel eighty three. We
got the ol Couple crew in full effect. DJ Alex
type on a TV theme song Thursday Christmas style, so
this will be a lot of fun. And uh, we

(03:07):
got super producer Rob g in full effect. And what
member if Bruce Ar's Brigade is doing the updates today?
David Gascon, Yes, Gascon called me. We talked earlier this week.
I was very humble. You felt guilty. So that's why
you finally gave him an audience after he had to
like talk to you a couple of times on the air.

(03:29):
That's what it was, an audience. Well he he he.
I was humbled because he came to me like, man, look,
I really would like to be in Bruce Ar's brigade.
You know you got Finley, you got Ralph Irvin, you
know the Sagers sending your messages. I won in Chris.

(03:51):
You know Christ pretty much. You were a man of
the cloth. Man. You just straight up oh my god,
oh yeah right, I'm sorry. I know it hurts, Rob,
I know it hurts, but you know you my man,
You're You're above Bruce hards game. You're my partner I'm
you put the odd in odd couple. I don't. I

(04:13):
don't need to beg people of joining. I already know
where mister Gascon is, and I also know where mister
de Sacra is, and I'm okay, okay, Well, speaking of begging,
there are those I think the New York Jets might
need to beg and better not be too proud to

(04:33):
beg Trevor Lawrence to don the Green and the White. Obviously,
the Jets winless this season. They need to stay winless
or they get that top pick. It would be Jets
like though, to win the two of their last three games,
winn't it and then Jaguar jack Jacksonville gets the top
after they blew that game against the Raiders. I you

(04:54):
know that was the one. God they blew it row
I know, but I'm saying, but after that, I doubt
you know what I'm I mean, because that that to me,
that that's a morale killer. Right yeah, if you if
you don't win that game, you know what game are
you winning? Right right now? I hear you, I hear you.
But anyway, former Nets or Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, who
I thought, you know, was actually pretty solid. He had

(05:17):
four winning seasons in his seven years with the Jets,
only two losing seasons, and uh, he was okay. But anyway,
he's now obviously an ESPN analyst and he robbed it
was this. It was a little interesting what he said
about the Jets and about Trevor Lawrence really having the

(05:40):
leverage over the Jets, uh and maybe not wanting to
play from him. He says he has truly unusual leverage.
He said he could easily hold an auction between Adida's
under Armor and Nike. Just say I'm not playing this year.
Whichever one of you, you shoe cup, these closing apparel

(06:01):
companies want to sign me. I'm going to the highest
bidder you can pay me to sit out this year
and then you know, enter the draft the year from now.
This is what Tannenbaum said. He say, Hey, he could
come out and say, hey, I'm only playing in one
of these four cities, or don't draft me because I'm
not going. His leverage is he will be financially set

(06:25):
by his off the field money. You didn't like this rout, No,
I thought it was a guy who's bitter at the
organization that he's not there. To even put that out there,
because what he didn't mention is next year could be
the Jacksonville Jaguars or you know, like you you know,
it's still gonna be some bad team or some bad franchise, Chris,

(06:49):
because those are the teams that get the first overall.
Pick a team that's really bad. So if it's not
going to New York and the Jets, maybe it's Jacksonville,
maybe it's Detroit. Uh, maybe it's you know, some other
bad town where they have him won in a long time.
So so I just I mean, look, you're not going

(07:11):
to Kansas City, you're not going to Seattle, you're not
going to Green Bay. So so what is the difference. Oh, yeah,
next year will be great, let's go to let's go
to Jacksonville. Okay, that that's where it will go to
Jacksonville next year. That's gonna be cool, Chris. So so
this whole notion and throwing out oh yeah, well they
could pay him, you know. Yeah, two companies just got

(07:33):
two hundred million dollars to give to somebody so that
they could sit on the sideline. That's unprecedented. It's never
been done. Even when Eli didn't want to go to
San Diego. But but they flip flopped, you know what
I mean, the quarterback, so that each of them got one.
It wasn't like San Diego was asked out, you know
and didn't get Well, you said it, he's a quarterback, right,

(07:57):
And I'm not saying the obviously get endorsements, but it's
some are people flocking to buy the quarterback sneakers? I
just right now, you know you can sound but still right.
But but because it's just why the same reason why
NBA players have an advantage. They wear those sneakers to work.

(08:19):
People see them, like you can't sell baseball cleats. You
could be the best baseball player, Chris. Everybody doesn't wear cleats.
Everybody doesn't wear football cleats, do you know what I'm saying.
So there's a difference. And and I just you know,
I just those comments really rubbed me. Like I get it,
he got fired from there, probably he hates the ownership

(08:40):
and whatnot. That that to me sounded very spiteful that
like he concocted this idea, because if he would have said, well,
you know through when the idea that all he's doing
is prolonging Chris going to another bad franchise next year.
That that's all it is, right, And you don't know
what next year is, right. I'm just saying, if Jacksonville

(09:04):
is that cool, Detroit has one playoff win since nineteen
fifty seven, is that where you want to go? I'm
just I don't know. No, that that's a great point you.
I mean again, like I said, we were hearing this
same stuff a year ago with the Beatles, Joe Burrow right,
telling people telling Joe Burrow not to go there, Chris
and he went there, played with played fine until he

(09:25):
got hurt. But but he went You know, I don't
know what, but I'll say this, and I don't know.
We don't know. Lawrence hasn't talked about it. We don't
know what He's all right, But I would say, Rob,
if I'm the Jets, I'm getting out in front of
this thing. I'm not begging Trevor Lawrence totally. You know, Yeah,

(09:45):
I'm not. I'm not Coyle towering to him. But I
am making some moves that make us look like a
better organization. I mean, obviously they need a new head coach.
Adam Gates has just not gotten the job done. Sam
Darnold looks destroyed. You know he's and I don't think
I know you don't feel this way either. I'm not
saying I'm not sure he can't be a franchise quarterback somewhere.

(10:07):
Hearn be with the people. They like them. They say
they used to go elsewhere. And we saw Chris with
Jared Goff when Fisher was the coach right of the Rams.
Remember that he looked like a bust, like he couldn't play.
And in a matter of Champion Right, who was also

(10:28):
with Adam Gaze, he was terrible. They down in Miami.
They didn't want him. This guy's been unbelievable since he
left there. So you gotta be very careful not to
say somebody can't play until you see them. You know,
in the right situational circumstance, what I would do, Rob
right at the end of the season, I'm firing Adam Gaze.

(10:51):
Now I'll do my due diligence and really do a
legit coach in search. But just from what I see
out there in the NFL, I'm I'm hiring Eric be
into me. And I know his name is probably gonna
be mentioned with all these openings and Houston with Deshaun Watson.
That's obviously enticing. That makes a lot of sense for

(11:12):
them to get being to me. But if I'm the Jets,
I'll out bid bid Houston. Yeah, you would have Deshaun Watson,
but you also here could have Trevor Lawrence. I mean,
come on, so I think you go out you get
say Eric be into me. Joe Douglas didn't hire Gaze.
I don't believe, right, gerobg checked that out. Gaze, if

(11:33):
I remember correctly, was hired before Joe Douglas. And so Douglas,
you know, maybe he stays, you know he did. He
was all right. He was in that Philadelphia organization when
they won the Super Bowl, so you know he may
be okay. But my point is, Rob the New York

(11:55):
there's no problem with the city of New York as
we know. I mean, there's that's not the issue. If
you go and you have success in New York, there's
no better place to be, no doubt about it. You
know that. We all know it, and I don't think
that's a determent for him. We saw it first. So Joe,
Joe Douglas did not hire at him Gate. So I

(12:15):
could keep Douglas and and get me U and Eric
be into me or some big time coach, because here's
the thing, be in to me. I would think it's
going to would use Trevor Lawrence similarly or try to,
you know, recreate what they have in Kansas City. Rights well,

(12:37):
but but you know Lawrence is athletic. He might even
be faster than than my homes and so you know,
you got the athleticism obviously throws it well. And so
I that would be what I'm trying to do if
I'm the New York Jets. Make yourself look good. Don't
even contact Lawrence. You're not giving him the key to

(13:00):
the franchise, right, but just make the right moves that
make you look like okay, okay, okay, they can get
it done, and then you won't have this problem, I
don't think. And then all you gotta do is then
you make a trade for Donald somebody would gladly take
Chris Gladly and get a player or a pick, you
know what I mean. And then and then you utilize

(13:20):
that to help, uh, you know, we shape the team.
I absolutely think it's right there the Jets. It's not
that hard to turn the thing around. It really isn't.
And you need to right, coach, right, you need to
no league grab is coaching more important than in the NFL. No, definitely,
because it's what your scheme is and how you use

(13:42):
your players. It's it's much more than any other sport. No, absolutely, absolutely,
all right. You're turning away in eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox eight seven, seven, nine nine six sixty
three sixty nine. Should Trevor Lawrence consider spurning the New
York Jets? And what should the Jets do to make

(14:04):
sure it doesn't get to that point? You're turned away?
With Chris and Rob the Eye Couple Fox Sports Radio.
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Chris Brussar then Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app. And if you're saying, wait a minute, that

(14:25):
doesn't sound like the TV theme song, I remember, well,
you know you get twists here on The Eye Couple
Hip hop twists with DJ Alex Tysher than the remix
on a TV theme song Thursday Christmas Style. And I
got a question for you. Do you own or do
you rent your home? You do one or the other

(14:47):
because everybody does. Unfortunately, Geico makes it easy for you
to bundle your home and your car insurance. It's a
good thing too, because having a home is hard work. Rob,
You know how much hard work it is. Get school
was out there shoveling snow today? Which one of your
daughters was out there? Believe my daughters never shoveled snow

(15:09):
even when they lived here. I would not allow it.
Why could you have your one man to the hospital
after shoveling the snow and then working on patients? To Chris,
I mean really, here's what I did because I woke
seven inches of snow and uh, so you can let
me finish this readthough, So you gotta go to gego

(15:30):
dot com. Get a quote. See how much you can save.
GetGo dot com. It's easy. Yes, So I wake up
in the morning six seven inches of snow on the ground,
whatever it was, and uh someone you know they always
come by and ask you to shovel your snow. Now,
I used to do that. I used to make a
ton of money snow days. Man. My man asked for

(15:51):
one hundred and twenty bucks to shovel your walking your house?
Is that big? Wow? No? No, no, I mean, you know,
we gotta walk away a little walkway off for that
the driveway, and it was a good amount of snow.
How did he get and the fence. I negotiated with him,

(16:17):
got him down a little bit, and he did it.
But of course the trucks come by and they dumped
once you know, he had my driveway looking nice. I
put salt out there myself and it really melted everything.
And then the trucks come by and dump all the
snow from the street at the foot of my driveway.
So I was out there a few hours ago and

(16:40):
I did the foot of my driveway, which was which
was a lot because it was you know, by that time,
it was cold, it had frozen a little bit, and
it was heavy. Uh nothing, No, it was easy for me.
So so is it better to say you Pressedbyterial him down?
Is that what you did to get a better deal? Pressbyterian?

(17:01):
I gave. I hooked him up. Plus I gave him
a little tip for the holidays. Yes, yes, all right.
Anyway A seven seven ninety nine on Fox, we want
to hear from you guys. What do you think should
Trevor Lawrence spurn the Jets and what should the Jets
do to make themselves look more attractive. All right, let's
kick it off with Larry in Florida. You're on the
odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up Larry? Hey, guys.

(17:23):
First of all, happy holidays you guys constantly. Rob, I
have a few spots on my tree. I need a
coat and a size. Okay, I think i'd be holidays man.
I'm a huge shit man. Okay, are you in New York?

(17:44):
But Chris, take a picture because I want to see
him shoveling. But you don't believe Trevor would have to
be crazy not to go there. Can you imagine just
even if he has forget the super Bowl, but even
if he has success in like winning the division and
taking us to the playoffs year after year, he would

(18:07):
own New York. He's an organization changer. The coaches are
gonna come out of the woodwork that want to coach him,
and Chris, I agree with you. I like I like
the enemy, but I don't think they're gonna go down
that path. I think they're gonna go get the day
both from Buffalo because he used to be they both
used to be an all organization and as far as

(18:29):
h do you want? But do you want somebody tied
to the organization already? I mean I hear you because
they've looked. Buffalo is doing well. But you know somebody, right,
somebody from that staff will probably they'll get jobs because
whenever you do well so well, let's Chris, I understand
what you're saying. But he's done a phenomenal job with

(18:51):
Josh Allen. I mean, you gotta give it to him
for that. Got you, Larry, Thanks Larry. All right, that's
not but I mean, like I said, it doesn't have
to be saying do your search you do to me
right now? And like I said, Rob throwing quarterback? You
know what I mean? Who wouldn't want to be in
that system that Mahomes has? Like you said, you need weapons,

(19:14):
But yeah, no doubt about it. All right, James in
the baseball capital of the United States, Saint Louis. You're
on the hot couple of Fox Sports Radio. I'm always representing.
It's Gauge, man, it's gage Is Saint Louis. How you
boys doing happy? What's up? Engauge? Behind this? You got
you probably got no love for baseball. He's from Saint Louis.

(19:35):
Just come on, man, don't don't be disrepect Chris. Did
you ever play baseball? Did you ever play? Did you
ever play baseball? High school? Man? I caught four years
of high school. I just wasn't that good, but I
played baseball. Hey no, but uh alex t was going on,
Bobby g what's going on? Yeah? I think Dad, he

(20:00):
should just go ahead and go to the jet because,
like Rob said, man, next year is not gonna be
any better. And let you be honest next year, and
let's stop talking about poaching my chiefs, you know, keep
the enemy where he is. We need at least three
or four from him, you know, and and then he
can go ahead. And I think Robert salads Man, honestly,
would be would be great, a great fit for Trevor Lawrence.
He needs that defense right here talking about him and Detroit.

(20:24):
Yeah his name is, Yeah, his name is. But look,
you losing be into me, don't you think, Rob? Yeah,
because he deserves a chance to be the head coach.
And he can't stick around there. You can't because your
window can come and close, Chris right if he waits
too long. So you gotta jump on it while you're hot.

(20:45):
So absolutely absolutely all right. We got our man, one
of our favorites, Eric Man Genie, the Jets, former head
coach for the Jets and now a Fox Sports One contributor.
He'll be joining us in a few minutes, but first,
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox Sports

(21:06):
Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search f
SR to listen live. We are coming to you live
from the guy. Go Fox Sports Radio Studios and don't forget.
Exactly two hours from now, we'll be revealing the top
three of Fox Sports Radio's top twenty athletes of the
past twenty years. You will not want to miss it.
He's a friend of the show from an NFL head

(21:28):
coach with the Jets and the Browns. Fox Sports One
contributor art Man Eric Man Genie, what's up? What's up? Hey?
How you guys doing. I was listening. I heard Rob
class ti himself as a blue collar guy. Yes, I
set world World Traveler. I got in his porch a

(21:50):
few times, that convertible blue collar Yeah right, you meat,
a blue collar guy doesn't go to add article on vacation, Yeah, exactly,
been a continents, Yeah, thank you, Thank you. All right,
Harry let we were just talking a few moments ago
about Trevor Lawrence and this this notion we heard it

(22:13):
last year with Joe Burrow, you shouldn't go to the Bengals.
Some people are saying now Lawrence shouldn't go to the Jets.
Are the Jets getting a bad rap? I mean the
people are talking about them like they just can't win
because it's a bad franchise. No, that's that's not that's
not true at all. The Jets have one and and
if anything, it's a really good situation. They've got extra

(22:35):
draft picks in the first round, the third round, the
seventh round, they've got they've got cap money. They're in
the division where the Giant is no longer the Giant,
there's no more Tom Brady in that division. You've you've
got an opportunity to go in and change things, and
change things dramatically and quickly. And if you're Trevor Lawrence

(22:56):
and you feel like you're a franchise quarterback and I
think I've said this to you guys before or then
then there's a reason that you're going there. And franchise
quarterbacks change franchises by the way that they play. So
this idea that the Jets are uh an inherently bad franchise,
that's not true. I think it's a It's a potentially
a great situation for someone to go into. And it

(23:19):
wasn't that long ago. Let's just be honest. I mean,
it wasn't forty years ago that Rex Ryan, Uh, you know,
he took them to the AFC Championship Game twice, didn't
he did? He beat New England? They lost to who
did they lose to Indianapolis? Right? And and to the Patriots?
I think now who they lose to Indianapolis? Yeah? Yeah,

(23:40):
but they got they went to in a row, right,
There had been a lot of winning going out. Rob
I get fired at nine and seven, so I think
that record looks pretty good. Hey, you know what, Hey,
you sound like Jim Carwell on Detroit. You know what
I mean? The five guys nine and seven would just
unbelievable that that wasn't good enough. Now, Eric is the bet.

(24:02):
There's a report today that I think executives said they
think the LA Chargers job is the best one that
will be available. What's your thought on that? Yeah? Look,
I hate talking about jobs that still have coaches in place.
So in a hypothetical world of that ends up being
in the case to the upside there is it looks

(24:24):
like you have a real, live quarterback and and I
can tell you playing in a situation where where you
don't have that guy, everything's got to be perfect. And
when you do um, when you do have a player
who it looks like he could potentially be now you
got a chance to compete year in a year out.

(24:45):
And they've got talent in other areas as well. They've
been close in a lot of games. So so yeah,
there there's a bunch of attractive elements there. Eric, Chris
and I had a debate on who is the MVP
of the NFL this season. Chris picked Patrick Mahomes. I

(25:06):
said it's Aaron Rodgers. If you had to pick from
those two, who would you pick him? Why? Yeah, that
that's a tough question. I was actually talking about that
with my youngest son, Zach er Swell, and he picked
Patrick Mahomes and his rationale was his bad games aren't
nearly as bad as as Aaron Rodgers. And I think

(25:28):
when you can throw three interceptions and still score thirty points,
that's that's pretty impressive. Now that being said, I think
Patrick has a few more tools to work with offensively,
and he's got a head coach. But you could argue
is one of the best that's that's called plays, so

(25:49):
there's an advantage there as well. I'm a huge Aaron
Rodgers fan, I always have been, but I would say
that that I would have to give the edge to
Patrick right now. Yeah, you're the first one who said
the answer that answer, Eric, It's unbelievable. I mean, Eric,
what kind of research are you doing? Uh? Aaron Rodgers

(26:11):
didn't have Davante Adams for three games, Aaron Jones for
three games, and yet he's put up. He has a
higher quarterback rating than than Patrick Mahomes, He has more touchdowns,
he has less interceptions. What are you watching? You were
yards a horrible game against What are you watching? I
love him? I love Rob How you quote a couple

(26:33):
of statistics that you're having to read in the newspaper
because you still get it. You still get a newspaper
and you're like, oh, that sounds good. But look, you
could you could make a case for either guy last
year and him taking the team to thirteen and three
with a rookie head coach, and that to me was

(26:54):
an impression a job as as you can see, Eric,
I I thought when Odell Beckham Junior got hurt, and
I think he's their best receiver in Cleveland, But I
thought that that Baker Mayfield would be better without OBJ,
at least this year, because I felt like he was
forcing it to OBJ or looking to him too much,

(27:14):
just because the strength of his personality. Do you think
that OBJ not being there has loosened up Baker and
kind of allowed him to just hit the open man
and that that has anything to do with their surge.
I mean, they were playing well with OBJ two, but
do you think that has anything to do with their

(27:34):
surge and with Baker's better play? Yeah, Christ, there's a
lot to be said for what you're talking about it
and you you don't like to think that you could
lose a player of Odell's talent and be better. And
I don't know Odell personally, but I've been in enough

(27:54):
situations where there can be additioned by subtraction and really
talented players can can demand the ball. And I remember
conversations after conversation with guys who come to the sideline
and tell you they're always open, and you show them
the picture and they're double teams and they're telling you
they're open. And that's a lot of pressure on on

(28:16):
a young quarterback and and to some degree on play
callers to pacify that guy. And if you can take
that element out of the equation and just go back
and read the coverage and hit the open guy, to me,
that that's there's a liberating element to that. Again, though,
when when you do have a player like Odell, it

(28:39):
does force a lot of coverage his way, which should
open up other things. So you could you could look
at it both ways for us. Uh, you know, there's
some Chris Brussa's pushing the narrative that Tom Brady is
a Pro Bowl of this year, I think the third
quarterback the NFL season. It's first year so far into Babay.

(29:00):
What do you make of Tom? Is he a Pro
Bowl in your mind? I mean, just look at the teams,
the landscape. Drew Breeze is hurt. Chris, Can you let
Eric answer please? I feel like any time Rob talks
about Tom Brady there should be some sort of hater
alarm that goes off, like some sort of can the
show get like a siren. So when as soon as

(29:22):
Tom Brady entered his mom you know it starts blaring hater, hater,
because that's You've hated on Tom Brady for as long
as I've known you. I don't think you have you
rooted against any athlete more than you brewted against Tom
Brady and the the Lebron people say yes, I mean
I don't know. I don't look at it. Clearly a

(29:46):
hater of greatness. So that should be like a badge
of a hunter. Every players should hope to be hated
by Rob Parker because you know you're headed to the
Hall of Fame. You gotta be for me to waste
my time board you. That's true. Here's what I think, Rob, is,
I've been frustrated with UM the way that that that

(30:09):
it's been set up initially. And I think that when
you bring in someone like Tom, his greatest strength is
his knowledge, and in order for him to maximize that strength,
you want to run a system that's familiar to him
as possible, so that he knows what the answers to
the test are, when when blitches take place, when when
things aren't quite right in terms of formation, He understands

(30:33):
what to do because of his experience. And it's not
that Tom can't learn the system. He's been learning this system.
It's just not going to be as effective as it
possibly could be. So there is a learning curve with
someone who's done something for twenty years to go in
do something else. Has he been perfect? No? Has as

(30:55):
the fit and the chemistry and the the overall operation
and perfect No. I don't think that's been the case either.
But they've won more games already than they have last year.
He's thrown twenty more twenty less interceptions than they had
last year. He's already got thirty touchdowns. I mean Tom

(31:15):
didn't throw thirty touch on his first eight years in
the league. So it is it perfect? No? But I
think that's part, you know, some frustration that maybe because
of the lack of of chemistry. Another great answer, Eric,
and that one totally useless appearance here on the odd couple.

(31:38):
I'm very disappointed, very disappointed in your aunt. Know what
I'm excited about, Robbers. You didn't hanging the phone up,
I mean, mid No, I would never do that last time.

the Geico Fox Sports Radio. Let me say this quickly.
I've been getting packages to the house right. I don't
know who they're from because they've been shipped from some
or else, you know, like somebody ordered something for me,
so I got this. So I won't open them because

(33:05):
I don't know if they're wrapped on the inside, and
I don't know who they're from. Do you know what
I'm saying? Well, yeah, so I'm just kind of letting
the packagees sit around the tree until Christmas, I think, right,
I I wish I had sent your gift that way,
so you know you're going on Amazon or wherever you're
ordered from, and you just send it straight to their house.
That's what I did with Rob g and Alex, but

(33:29):
with you, I bought yours and then mailed it. I
think I said it like, I don't know if you
Monday or Tuesday? What a Hopefully it gets there by Christmas.
They said it would, but you know, mail it's really slow. Yeah,
it is really really slow because I mailed out some
stuff and people still haven't gotten it. But you got
yours quick, I got did you mail us one or two?

(33:50):
You got two? Did you get I got one? Okay,
there's one for your daughters that's coming. Yeah. We haven't separate. Yeah, okay,
so all right, well Rob we he brought it up
with Eric Manngeanie um and and he's right. You know,
you hate to talk about this when the coach still
has a job, but let's face it, Anthony Lynn is
not going to keep that job with the Chargers um

(34:13):
but just didn't win enough. And look, his first two
years were really good, nine and seven, then goes to
twelve and four to pick him to go to the
super Bowl. If you go look at that twelve and
four year Chris, they won every big game on the road.
They were really good. I was impressed when they went
to New England for that playoff game. I thought they

(34:34):
were gonna win because they had beaten everybody big on
the road and they never even got off the plane
for that. And it's been down since, it really has.
It has been straight downhill since then. Maybe infinitely Len
will get another chance somewhere else, but I'd be it'd
be stunning if he was not relieved of his duties.
And m I do agree. There a lot of people

(34:56):
saying this is the best job that will be available.
Now there's some good ones. I think Houston is a
good job. Rob. I mean, you got you know, your
quarterback Deshan Watson who's versatile, you got some good defensive players,
you got some good receivers. Even Yeah, I think that's
a good Eric Man Jeanie made the point two, which

(35:17):
I did not really know. Chris about all the picks
that the Jets have, right, like this could turn around quickly.
He says, he got they got extra picks. Right, what
he's saying the first, third, and seventh rounds. I mean yeah,
And he's right, he was right on the money on
that as far as I'm concerned, because you're right. They
look they haven't won a Super Bowl since six team

(35:41):
for twenty five years. Yeah, excuse me, they're not the
Detroit Lions. No, No, they were on the on the list.
They were. This is Bill Barnwell VSPN. And here's where
he says the top nine openings are. He's got the
Bears at nine. I don't think the Bears is a
bad job. I mean, they don't have a quarterback. The
defensive think not as good as it was two years ago, Chris.

(36:03):
But it's right. Anytime you got a strong defense, you
you you just kind of need a game manager, and um,
I mean maybe Trubisky can be that with a different
style code. They have the Lions at number eight. Wow,
Lions is when's the last time the Lions was a
good job. I mean, come on, it's been a while, right, right,

(36:23):
I don't see that. Broncos seven still don't no quarterback
terrible Drew Locks. Okay, but Eagles six. The biggest problem
with the Eagles to me is gonna be figuring out
their quarterback situation. I mean, it's a good que problem
to have. You got two guys who but it's not
like coverage Bear get them worked out figured out right?

(36:44):
Jacksonville five, I don't know about that one. I mean,
I guess they're thinking they're gonna get a good pick.
They gonna get Justin Fields from my house State Jets
at four, they got Falcons at three. See, I would
put the Jets above the Falcons. So would be because
Trevor Lawrence. Yeah, and the Falcons think, to me, is
over I think, yeah, our downhill going the other way. Yep.

(37:07):
Texans too, Deshaun Watson Chargers one. So I do agree
that Charges as the top and Texans are two. I definitely,
and I'd have Jets three. So some good good jobs
out there, all right. It's two hours left with the Eyes.
But Dallas wasn't on the list. Oh I'm sorry. And
Dallas getting their quarterback too, bas quarterback back and we

(37:31):
can make that bet next year. Gas Man
