(00:26):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It is the I Couple.
I am Chris. Here's Robert coming to you live from
the Fox Sports Radio studios. You can also follow robbing
me on social media. Robb is at Rod Parker FS
one on both Twitter and Instagram. I am at Chris

(00:46):
Underscore Bruce Art on Twitter, Chris Bruce Art sixty eight
on The Graham, all Right, we got foul or fair
with our friend Rod Allen, former MLB veteran, coming up
at the bottom of this hour. And then the new
segment that is taking taking how should I say? He

(01:09):
couldn't even storm. It's taking Culver City, California. It's called
What's My Beef? Wow, Alice, did you see What's My Beef? Yet?
Or not yet? Well? Rob, you know I'm playing based,
so I don't have en. That's right, it would be
it would be what's my seaweed, what's yes? Yes, okay,

(01:37):
but uh, Rob, let's stick with the NBA for now
and big game tonight. They just showed Kyrie Irving walking
in to the arena in Boston and uh, obviously it's early,
so no fans there yet. But this is his first
game back in Boston tonight since he left there with fans.

(01:57):
Nice played there twice, once in the preseason, once in
the regular season and fans weren't there because of the pandemic.
But Kyrie, Rob, I think smartly, Rob got out in
front of this thing and said, look, I don't want
to Let's keep it not no racism. Let's keep the
racist comments out of it, and hopefully it's just basketball

(02:19):
and you know there's none of that. And I'm gonna
say this, right, I think because he said that, I
think tonight it is going to be even worse of
a reception for him than he would have got already gotten.
It was gonna be bad anyway, but I think I
think they'll buy him even harder. Their jeer him. They

(02:41):
may talk more trash, there may be more signs flat
earth signs, whatever they come up with, but as long
as it's not racist. And I'll throw this into Rob
because I think a lot of people might just say, Okay,
we can't say anything about race. Don't mess with his religion. Boston,
if you're listening, leave his religion alone too. He's apparently

(03:05):
a Muslim. He celebrated or Rama Doon, so it seems
like he's a Muslim, or at least leaning that way.
So no, don't mess with his race, don't mess with
his religion. And they have fun, make it interesting. You know,
we all love Rob. It's it's great when the fans
are really into it and they go against the opponent.

(03:27):
It can make for a great atmosphere. It can help
your home team maybe at times. And so I think
you're all good with that as I am. As long
as they stay away from stuff like that, no doubt.
That's that's sports. It's okay, right, That's not what we're
talking about. It's the bad stuff, and it will be interesting,

(03:47):
especially Chris the Danny age comments after kywe which we
have he was on ninety eight point five in Boston.
Was yesterday or the day the day before it, But anyway,
here's what he's said when he was asked about Kyrie's
comments that, uh, there is some racism in Boston and

(04:11):
sometimes in that arena. I never heard any of that
from any player that I've ever played with my twenty
six years in Boston. I never heard that before from Kyrie,
and I talked to him quite a bit. So I
don't know. I'm as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't matter.
You know, we're just playing basketball. They want. Do you

(04:32):
think when a player like that makes a statement about
Boston and this team and its fans, that it could
influence other players as to a whether or not they
want to come here or be whether or not they
want to stay here. And I think that everybody's influencing somebody.
Um so yeah, I think that there's my fears that

(04:56):
I could possibly happen. But I think that are players
and players that have played here in the past. I'll
have their own experiences to share. And you know it's
just one player. Rob quickly before you go on, this
is that because he was playing with Greg Kiton, Kevin
McHale and Larry Bird and all that is that why

(05:19):
he didn't? I mean, where's Danny been? Danny? Look, this
is literally we use this word all the time. Rob, unbelievable.
It was unbelievable. I'm using the word literally right now,
literally unbelievable meaning I can't believe that. I'm sorry. And
I've dealt with Danny obviously over the years, and I've

(05:41):
had I liked Danny, I've had great conversations with him
and all that, but this is unbelievable. I can't believe
that he's never I mean, where you've been because all
the players, Rob Tristan Thompson's coming out saying, yeah, oh
my gosh, yes, when I was an opponent players, Chris,
right now, this isn't twenty years from the goal. What
is he talking about? This is the part And I'm

(06:04):
with you, it's unbelievable that he could put his lips together,
Chris and this to come out of his mouth. He
doesn't have to rip all the people of Boston or
the good people. But don't turn a blind eye. This
is what people are talking about, Chris all the time.
When we tell you there's a problem, don't tell us

(06:27):
that there's no problem or you never heard of it.
We're telling you there's a problem. That's the problem. Do
you know what I'm saying, that's the problem is that
you don't want to hear what we're telling you. Yes, Hello,
and then Bill Russell, you want to read store stuff
about Bill Russell when his time in Boston. We could

(06:49):
go down the line consolutely. Is there? I mean, if
he calls their games. I mean it's it's mind boggling, Chris.
And you know what we pre show talking Rob g
who's not a general manager, not a former NBA player,

(07:11):
who's not white, who's not black. I mean, he was like, dude,
it's so simple answer that question. Yes, we have some issues.
It's not everybody. There's always bad apples and bad people
in every city, do do you? Chris? Is it that
hard to to put out that answer? You say, fortunately,

(07:31):
I have heard things over the year, yes, and well
documented that we've got some great fans, the majority are great.
But yeah, we've had some things and we want to
stop it and and hopefully that ends and no other
player has to go through it's something like that. That's it.
That's it. And yeah, I I he's a talked about

(07:54):
him him having something like that happened to him outside
of the arena. I'm not talking about in this city
of Boston. I'm talking about right outside the Arena arena.
As he was leaving a game, a woman in an
Isaiah Thomas Jersey called him to in word as he
was trying to help her. He was a He's a

(08:15):
tweet by Keith Smith from Jalen Brown. Chris, I'm gonna
read this quote. This ain't ten years ago. This is
caught off the presses. I know, not every Celtics fan
is a racist. We have a lot of fans from
all walks of life and all colors. Painting every Celtics
fan as racist is unfair. But Boston, we have a

(08:37):
lot of work to do. Period. End quote. When did
he put that out? Rob Jamesons came out today? Okay,
do you see what I'm saying? Jayal is very conscientious,
But but he's sitting down there at Lanta and marched
and yeah, he's about that. But we're not what Chris
and we sat in and said. Everybody in Boston's races
all said fans, it's ridiculous. That would be ridiculous us

(09:00):
to say that, that would be ridiculous, but to ignore
the fact that their issues in Boston. If I mean,
if I'm a player now and I heard Danny ain't
say that I would. I would have an issue with him,
I really would, because he's putting his head in the sand.
I don't care who he voted for. I don't care
all those other things. But but to turn a blind

(09:21):
eye and saying his twenty six years, he never heard
anything from any of his teammates or ever saw anything. Chris,
that's that's you just said it. What you say it was.
It's unbelievable. It really literally taking that word literally, it's
hard to believe that that's been the case. It just
it just is. And you know, you hear coaches and

(09:41):
I know Danny's not the coach, but he's you know,
in the front office. But you know, you hear Gregg
Popovitch and Steve Kerr and Phil Jackson when he was coaching,
talk about how they talk to their players about stuff
like this. I mean, heck, you're dealing with the league
that's seventy five percent black and Dan. And he was
close with Doc and probably still is Doc Rivers. I mean,

(10:03):
it's hard for me to believe they haven't ever talked
about race, and Doc Rivers ain't shy about it, and
Doc had his own episodes. Chris, the house was burned
down in San Antonio burned to the ground. So Danny,
I'm guessing that. I mean, I would think if he
looks back, he understands, Look, I took I took the

(10:27):
wrong route. I should have just said it, talked about
it honestly, because I don't think he talked about this honestly.
Maybe he did, but it's hard for me to believe.
And nobody wanted Danny Ain't to paint the whole city
with one brush. Chris, that's not what but acknowledge it
because acknowledge and Boston fans say, well, it's not only up. Yeah,
the whole country has been racist, There's no doubt about that.

(10:49):
And you got teams in the South, you got the
teams in New Orleans, all right. So yeah, Louisiana. A
lot of my family still lives down there. And as
much as my family was Louisiana and our roots down there, man,
I got some family that is just hates the racistem
down there. It has had some terrible experiences in Louisiana.

(11:11):
And still the politics down there are crazy, right, And
so yeah, the New or you know, it's not just
the Celtics. But don't, as you said, Rob, don't put
your head in the sand. And I would say this
to fans too, just because you really like some black athletes,
those fans who were white or non black, just because
you really, you know, adore, you know, maybe even idolize

(11:33):
some of these black athletes. That doesn't mean you can't
be racist or do some racist things. Or Christians. The
other one, people thought we were in a post racial
society when Barack Obama Obama was elected president. Remember that, Yeah,
oh yeah, it's all over now we had a black president.
So now we're past that. We don't need to go

(11:55):
to that route to bring that up. Are you kidding me?
And didn't it was the actual absolute and gall am
I right, it was opposite Chris it became like once
and then not only that, he won two terms two terms, right,
And I think and the thing is, like I said

(12:15):
about the athletes, you know, just because you genuinely feel
affection for them, Like rob people go to the Kentucky
Derby and cheer for horses, all right, animals. So don't
tell me because you're cheering for for black athletes that
that means you might not have some racist views because

(12:36):
you're cheering for horses too. And and and you can
develop an emotional attachment, a real emotional attachment in bond
to your pet. We got a little my grant. My
daughter has a little dog now and we all love him. Bow.
We all have a little emotional attachment to, especially my daughter.

(12:59):
He's a dog, though we know he ain't equal. Right.
So just because you have this emotional attachment to these
black athletes, what is your real view? Be honest with yourself.
Race ending the racism is treating the black people with respect,
treating the black athletes with respect. And the black people
who robbed we neither you or we couldn't run a

(13:21):
four three forty. No, I can't. We couldn't dunk. I
mean I could dunk back in the day I had hops,
but I can't dunk anymore. We couldn't. We we're not
great athletes. Treat all African Americans with respect, and you know,
and that's when you really respect black people and aren't

(13:43):
race when you treat them with respect. And so I
don't want to hear it. Just oh, we cheer, we love,
We loved Kevin Garnett. I mean, you robbed the athletes
have said the organization, you know, everything was great, but
then experiences in the city. Some of them have said
it have been terrible. I told you, I told you

(14:05):
I had a terrible situation in Boston. It really gave
me a bad taste for the city, as did everybody know.
I have friends who lived there. I mean, one of
our good friends lives there. Mike Holly really likes Boston.
He does. He left Chicago to go back there. Remember that.
Ye he was a columnist at the Chicago Tribune in

(14:27):
a great metropolitan city like Chicago and went back to Boston. Yep.
And he's African American. So yeah, we're not painting the
whole city with a broad breast. We're just saying the
first steps to overcoming this issue we have in this
country is we all have to be transparent. Can we
all right, just acknowledge it. Don't act like it's not
happening or you don't know, you know what I mean?

(14:49):
Like like that we can't accept absolutely all right? Eight
seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine,
six sixty three sixty nine, We want to hear from you.
Was Danny Ains wrong for saying that Boston doesn't have
any racist fans. He's never heard any racism there in
his twenty six years with the franchise. And do you

(15:11):
think that the handful of bad apples in Boston will
hurt the Celtics ability to go out and get players
in the future. You turned away in its Chris and

paid for Biden Nitza eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox,
You're turned the way in on the situation with the
fans and Race and Danny Ainge and Kyrie irving up
in Boston. All right, let's kick it off. Chris with
Will in Michigan. You're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up? Will? What's up? Fellas? What's up? Fellas?

(16:55):
I've been with get some game one man, Thank you man. Hey,
we on what three years? We're until our third year?
Thank you? So Chris is using the right word with unbelievable. Okay, So,
I'm a forty one year old white dude. I was
in the Marine Corps San Diego for ten years, white
bartending for twelve years. Family in Nebraska. The one thing

(17:17):
I can always tell you is that white people think
because you're a white person, they can say the wrong
things to you. So it's out there, Danny. Danny, you
hear a lot of racial stuff that people white say
to you talking about blacks. Yeah, if they don't yeah,
mostly if they don't know me. If they know me,
they right, they wouldn't do it, right, But yeah, just

(17:39):
thinking they're talking to another white person. No blacks around. Yeah,
you know, I've heard like Middle Eastern things. It's not
not just you know, black people. But you know everything, right,
do we losing it? Well? You, uh, we're losing you
a little bit. Um. Okay, there you go make your

(18:01):
last point. Go ahead, Will, My point was unbelievable is
the right word. It's unbelievable for him to even say
that he had her. He's hurt it once twice, right, right,
good Will, Thank you. Thanks for being honest too. Yeah,
we appreciate it. That's how you have a dialogue in
a conversation, Chris, that's all. Danny ain't just just joined in, Yeah,

(18:24):
we got a problem. We need to get better, that's all.
You don't have to point fingers that everybody are out
people and say, oh yeah, so and so said this,
so and so said that, that's not what we're looking
for acknowledge. There's a problem Jimmy in Maryland. You're in
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. Hey, hey guys, Hey,

(18:45):
first time caller. Uh, listen to your show when I can.
I want to talk appreciate it. Hey, I want to
talk about a phenomenon that's near and dear to my heart.
The morons. You're talking about, those outward racist I want
to talk about the phenomenon on the people who don't
think that they're racist. If there. I grew up in

(19:08):
a predominantly white neighborhood. I'm from Silver Spring, Maryland. At
the time I grew up, it was the second or
third most affluent county in America. All Right. I was
the only black kid and most of my classes growing up.
The phenomen I'm gonna I'm gonna illustrate with the story

(19:28):
A guy grown up with play, you know, done crazy
things with one of my best friends. We go to
his house his girlfriend, who didn't know us. His new
girlfriend opens the door. Is me and a couple of
my boys. She opens the door, she looks and gass says,
oh my god, we hear a run. There's some black

(19:50):
guys at the door. Listen, hold on. My buddy comes
out and says, hey, man, these aren't black guys. This
is Jimmy and stefanest. Do you see. The phenomenon is
if you grow up, you know, then you're not black
or white or green. You're Jimmy and you're that person.

(20:11):
The story is when you step out of there and
they hang with those attitudes, when you're a black person,
you're then inn word. They're not racist because they are
black friends. But when they see if I'm I'm their friend.
But if they see you and Rob walking down the street,
you're the N word. Yeah, that's the problem. Hey, let

(20:34):
me and Silver Spring. My best friend Fred lived there
and I spend time in Silver Spring. He lived off
at Georgia Avenue downtown. Right, is that right? Yeah? Georgie.
Why you know that Howard University's right in Silver Spring. Yeah?
You go through Silver Spring to get to Howard. I've
been yere, no doubt. Let's go to uh Caleb in Washington.

(20:58):
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports raded. What's up, Caleb? Hey?
How are you doing? Rod? And Chris? How are you
guys doing? Man? Great? Thanks for calling, second time caller.
I want to I want to talk about. I know
it's um Kyrie should be worried. Man, I'm a white
forty four year old man, forty three whatever, I can't
remember now, Um, he should be worried because that that

(21:20):
is um oh man, it's it's known, right, It's known
in that area that it's predominantly I think you could
hear some racial stuff tonight. So what I'm what I'm
also want to what I want to bring up though,
is um this the fans get hyped. Man. I was
at a I was at a Seahawks game, my first

(21:41):
time in the new stadium, and we were playing the
forty nine ers. There was an old, like probably seventies,
late seventies, early eighties white man in there and we
beat him, you know, in the game. And some young
punk comes up there in cold clocks the dude in
the freaking head and knocks him out because he's a
forty nine Ers fan, right, And before I could get there,

(22:04):
there's twenty other dudes policing him, taking care of the
situation our own fans, and that needs to be taken
care of. You need to police your own in these
in these stadiums. Not everybody's racist, no, not no, and
they they're haters, and they they shouldn't have to go
to somebody's you know, getting kicked out. You should just
turn your turn your back and that guy gets taken

(22:26):
care of. That's just my opinion. Well, last night, Rob
and not last night. Two nights ago, we heard about
the situation in Philly where Popcorn was dumped on the
fans pointing him out. Didn't they, Well, I'm I'm talking
about in Salt Lake City because you had you know,
you had this situation New York fans fits on Trey Young.
But in Salt Lake City, John Morant's parents, his dad,

(22:50):
they had race. Somebody says something sexual to his wife mom. Yeah,
his dad's wife and m and his dad responded and
it became an incident and then there were some racist
stuff said. But Te Moran whose jobs dad said that
there were fans, you know, jazz fans there who were

(23:13):
white that did confront the white guy who said something racist.
So that's what he's talking about. You know, you poleat
your own thing if somebody's getting out of line. It's
the same thing, Chris, if you're there with your family
and you're at a ball game or something and there's
some drunken guy using the F word. You know what
I mean, just vulgar. Your wife's around, maybe you have

(23:34):
your daughters or their young kids around. You gotta say, dude,
what is this? You know what I mean? Like, we're
here to enjoy the game and we don't want to
hear that every other word out of your mouth. Right,
all right? Fouler Fair with Rod Allen is next. Keep
it locked a couple of Fox Sports Radio. Because now
be sure to catch live editions of the Odd Couple
with Chris Brussar then Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm

(23:57):
Eastern four pm Pacific on Sports Radio and the iHeart
Radio app. That ball is it was a big week
in the big league. Who Who's Is it foul or
is it fair? And now here's the Odd Couple with

(24:18):
former MLB veteran Rod Allen. That's right, it is Fouler Fair,
the Oar Couple of Fox Sports Radio. And say, when
we go around the baseball diamond to discuss all the
biggest headlines in baseball, in order to do so properly,
we got to get a real baseball expert, and that
guy Rod Parker. Nobody listens to his podcast the one

(24:39):
that I produces right inside the Parker. That's right. Let's
bring in our man, Rod Allen. What's up? Rod? Hey,
what's going on? Fellows happy? How is that weekend? Man? Weather?
It's nice most most most places in the country. How
y'all doing? It's not nice here in New Jersey, New York? Know, no,

(25:00):
come my way. I was playing on going to the
beach and everything. Really, Hey, hey, we do, old Rod.
I gotta we gotta give Rod some some some dap
and credit real quick. When we were ripping, Albert Poolhole
said he wouldn't play again. Rod said he would, And
Rod was right. All right, Rod, don't ever say I
never gave you any credit as Charlie as hey, he's

(25:24):
Charlie Hayes, because it's the first time on Fouler Fair
that he was rightly. Yeah, I'm right all the time.
To be honest with you. You gotta just to try
to search uf up. But if you think about it,
I'm right ninety nine. All right, all right, guys, Well,
let's see if we can get Rod right on these
next ones for today again, I got three baseball questions. Rod,

(25:46):
you get the first crack at it, because you are
the expert question Number one answering Friday's games, The Padres, Dodgers,
and Giants had the three best records in the National League.
Making it more impressive is that they all play in
the same division. Rod, foul or fair to say that
the NL West will have three teams in the playoffs
this year? Foul? That is foul all. And the reason

(26:12):
I say that, I mean, the Padres obviously are MUSTI
TV with Tatis and everything they're doing. The Dodgers are
a great team. I love what the Giants have done
so far. But I think about the Braves, and I
think about the Cardinals, and I think about some of
the other teams and some of the other divisions, and
I'm not quite ready to sell out on the Giants
getting there yet, so I could not agree with it.

(26:35):
So those are my reasons. The other two teams are lots,
but the Giants have still got some things to prove.
You got so many other teams and other divisions that
are unperforming right now. Yeah, I'm gonna go fair. That's
a fair all a Rod, they're underperforming because they're not
that good. I mean, this division, these three teams are legitimate,

(26:58):
and they're records are I mean, they got the best
three records in the whole league, the National League, so
I do think they are three make it. It's one
of those years where one division is incredibly strong and
the other ones, you know, got some solid teams, but
not like this. I do think they all get in,

(27:19):
and I hope they all getting because I think the
storyline would be great and obviously if they play that well,
they deserve it. So I'm with that all three of
them in the playoffs. I'm with Rod. I think it's
five is a foul ball. I think the Padres and
Dodgers are the creme de la creme. The Giant start
has been surprising. They've gotten good pitching and they got

(27:42):
a decent team, but I don't think they're gonna be
able to maintain and stay on the level that the
Dodgers and Padres are, and I think eventually they'll fall
back in the pack and it'll be those two teams.
And the division that could have three teams in the
playoffs would be the AL East with the Rays, Red
Sox and Yankees. Those three teams could make it. That's right.

(28:06):
I'm not surprised that Rob Parker's keeping up for something
involving the Yankings, like, I'm not a fan. Stop dying
for the Yankees Queens. I grew up a Mets fans.
Stop it. Aaron Jones could fly out three times, he's
hitting the ball. Well, you know he's making good contact.
All here we go. He does when he plays, He's healthy.
Story number Chris, stop ripping him. He's playing. CBS sports

(28:28):
dot Com released their official quarter pole letter grades from
Ajor League Baseball. Only two teams got n one of
which being the La Angels. Writer says that by fielding
the worst bitching staff in baseball, the Angels are basically
wasting the prime years of both Mike Trout and Chootany.
So right, here's a question foul or fair to say
that the Angels are wasting the prime years for their

(28:50):
two stars. Foul. That is a foul ball. And the
reason why I say that is there anybody that can
hit a ball one hundred and seventeen miles per hour
consistent baseball one hundred miles an hour. I'm going to
do it in and watch every single night. And Mike
Trout has always been musty TV. The problem is not
Trouting on TANNI. They've had this function at the top

(29:13):
in their leadership. Four different general managers in the last decade.
They can't figure out whether they want to be an
analytical team or a team that relies on their scouts
and talent. Don't blame Otani and Trout. They're not wasting
anybody's talent. I love watching them. They need to figure
some stuff out though. At the top though, if they're
going to get back to the playoffs, and shame on them.

(29:35):
They let Albert Poost go and look where he goes,
right up the street and he shows up in a big,
big way. So they're just not doing things right there.
I don't know what the deal is, but they're not
figuring it out yet. I'm gonna say foul I agree
that is a foul ball, only from the standpoint that is,
you know, you you bring Joe Madden, You got all

(29:55):
these hitters. Where's the pitching? What did the Padres doing
the offseason? They went out and they traded for three
guys who were all top starters on different teams. That's
how you build it. You gotta get pitching. The Padres
had hitting, but they realize if they want to make
the next step, it's about pitching. So what ain't about

(30:15):
those guys. It's about the front office and them, uh
just not putting it together. Yet this is fair, you guys,
Rob g correct me if I'm wrong. It sounds like
y'all made the argument for fair. That's what it sounded
like to me, right, I mean, where nobody's blaming Oh
Tiny and Trout, they're awesome. What we're saying is putting

(30:37):
something around them. And I agree, Look, Joe Madden, I mean,
that's not a bad hirer. Go out and get Joe Madden, right, right,
But I'm saying, but but Rod said it. The culture
is bad, and you gotta you have to create the
culture around these guys in that organization so they can win.
And look, they went out and got rinned on. I
mean they they've made some they've went forth the effort,

(31:00):
but it's never bearing fruit there. And look, if you
waste they are absolutely wasting it because they're not getting anywhere.
Not only are they not making the playoffs, they're not
getting anywhere near the playoffs. And you got a guy
that is a forget once in a generation, a guy
that is doing something we've never seen since Babe Ruth.
And then You've got Mike Trout, who might be the

(31:21):
best player ever to some people, and you're not getting
close to the playoffs. You Dart Skippy, You're wasting them.
You better get it together. I don't think so, I mean,
because I'm looking at it differently. I guess. I mean,
I guess I can tune on the TV and watching
four one hundred and sixty two games if I wanted to.
So their talent is not being wasted. Their talent is
on full display. Old Tanni is talked about everywhere in

(31:44):
the country, I mean in the country as one of
the best premier players in their arms sports. So their
talent is not being wasted. So I mean, they get
to the playoffs, that would be wonderful. But trust me,
everybody loves watching Trout and everybody's gonna tune in to
watch on Tanny two. All right, we want to see
him in the postseason, the man last one to win
the game, Flor Fair, Rod Allen in with the eye couple.

(32:07):
Here's the last question for you. Fred McGriff dropped an
absolute bomb on ESPN earlier this week. It meaning that
he's never actually seen the Tom Emansky defensive drills video.
You know, the one where the crime dog famously says
gets results in the commercial. What rod foul or fair
to say that McGriff should have taken this secret to

(32:28):
the grave. I'm gonna go foul. That is a sound
if anybody knows Fred McGriffin. Fred and I are pretty
close in age, and I've watched his career. He is
one of the best human beings I've ever met. And
somebody probably called him on a day and said, how
many of those did you really watch? He had to
tell the truth, I know, Fred, But if you watch

(32:49):
those Tommy Emanski videos, I mean it were strictly on point.
I mean, I mean, I mean the way those kids
were doing all those drills. If anything was going wrong
in there, I'm sure somebody would have said something to Fred.
So I'm not hating No Fred for that man. Fred
is an honorable guy and he just told the truth
in a situation where somebody probably pinned him against the corner.
Because he probably got a lot of faith in his life.

(33:10):
I'm not hating No Fred at all. Yeah, I'm I'm
with Ride on this one. That's foul. That is a
foul ball. I'm not mad at Fred. I'm glad he
actually was. Honest, it's not that huge of a deal.
But I don't think it was wise of him never
to watch it, just because I think he should have

(33:30):
watched it. He was putting his reputation on the line
and just trusting that what was in the videos was correct,
and it was. It was good stuff for kids, you know, teenagers.
But I would have thought, you gotta watch it. I
know they're paying your money and all that, but at
least watch it and see make sure you agree with
everything that's on there. Fortunately for him, it was nothing

(33:53):
untoward in those videos. It's fair, all just you know
what it's been this long. Let it go. You don't
have to answer to everything. Let it go. Who would know,
just be like yeah, you know, like you could just
change the subject. Hey did you see what old Tani
did yesterday? Or that swing? Or come up with something

(34:16):
to change the subject without having that actually lie about it.
Just change the subject and move on. I've done it
my whole life. That is foul fair all right? Rod Well, Hey,
Rob the three isn't bad man? You got that last one? Right?
Oh look at that whatever. Have a great weekend, Rod,

(34:39):
Thank you, Rody, you got stay safe. All right, brother peace,

Getting his own auto zone. All right, folks, it is
time for what's My beef? What office Rob Parker on
a Friday at this time? For what's my beat? It's
sponsored by MLB bro because you need to know. My

(36:07):
beef today is very simple. Why do restaurants charge so
much for a cup of hot tea? It doesn't make
sense four and five dollars for tea? So you know
what I do. I go to the restaurant and I
order just a cup of hot water right and they
charged me seventy five fifty cents for it. And then

(36:28):
I always travel with my own tea bag. I'm in
Las Vegas right now, and this right here came from
my apartment in La Boom, And now a cup of
hot tea on the road only costs me fish, he said,
instead of four or five dollars. That's my beat. It's

(36:50):
sponsored by MLB BRO because you need to know. Are
you kidding me? After I make a deal like that, Chris,
I need a cigarette? You know, instead of paying five
dollars for a cup of tea at some fast food
restaurant or somewhere, I'm paying fifty cents because I carry
my own tea bags. Is that cheap or is that smart? Man?

(37:15):
It is so cheap you should be embarrassed. I got
beef with you. Why we're actually having beef with people
for charging four dollars or some tea? I mean I
used to. Have you ever been confronted because I bet
you they don't allow that. No, I'm paying for the
hot water if I paid the fifty cents whatever. It's like,

(37:37):
you're not supposed to be able to go into a movie.
I mean, people do it right when you go to
CVS or Walgreens before before you go to the movie
and buy your candy and sneak it into the that's
the same thing. I'm not sitting in the restaurant. I'm
getting a you know what, I mean to go cup.
If that's the case, why can't you just heat up

(37:58):
some water yourself. No, I'm on the d I'm on
the road. That's like I'm on I was in Las Vegas.
So I was on the road and I wanted to
come from microwave in the in the uh no hotel.
No no, so I mention that I was down in
the little kitchen. What kind of house hells you staying at? No? No, No,
this is at the MGM. There was no way got microwave.

(38:21):
This is I was in a suite. There was no microwave.
This ain't days in um, Rob, Rob, you can appreciate
it what I'm doing, Rob, I can't appreciate it. But
let me just say this, that Rob Parker being a
preferred member at MGM Grand and he's still not willing
to pay the five dollars for T is kind of

(38:43):
surprising to me a little bit. I can see if
you're somewhere else you've already dropped, you know, a thousand dollars.
You're like, I'm not gonna pay another five dollars for
a T. But considering that Rob is a a lifetime
customer at the MGM Grand, I was kind of surprised
by that. But but it's it just doesn't seem right.
Alex doesn't. Doesn't this make a smart sense? And Alex,

(39:04):
would you you could get lettuce? Uh? Yeah, actually, Chris,
I have done stuff like that, Like no joke. I've been.
For example, there's a really which there's a really nice
spot up here. It's a great Mexican joint, but they
don't have guawks, so I have to bring my own guawk.
I have to bring my own rugala. It sucks, dude.
I'm like you guys are supposed to be the spot
and I bring my own stuff, So like, like, I

(39:28):
don't get it, guys. I'm just saying this, Like Rob
is with a splendor, I'm like that with hot tea
and different veggies. So it's the same thing. I don't
get it. Chris, you think it's all I could buy
one hundred tea bags for four ninety nine. Tell them
why am I paying five dollars for one tea back?
I mean, I don't mind if it because saying I'm
putting girls through college. How are you getting waitresses? How

(39:52):
are you college? And they spend five dollars on tea?
Chris exactly, don't single waitresses. They feeling that that's might
be
