Shirt's Tower of Trivia is back and it's gonna be
a lot of fun, So definitely stay tuned for that.

(01:08):
But before we get into our next topic, Rob Parker,
you can't let it go. I can't let it go.
People we don't know, but we weren't into the B
fifty twos like you were. Everybody knows that, Chris. You
know these songs, you know rock Lobster, you and now
here never heard of anything called rock lobs. This is

(01:32):
the idahole. No, I don't know that. Alex Youde, never
hearing the song. You don't notice this is private idaho Gee,
this is private idahole. You never I've never heard what
This makes me wonder? Where were you at college or
high school? I was in college. This makes me wonder
what you were doing in college? Man, this is what

(01:53):
you was grooping too in college. Yes, this was the eighties.
This was southern Connecticut State University. Didn't know in New Haven.
I used to go to Toad's place and dance and
drink and all you dance to this. See you gotta
check out this. This chick's hair that's playing the piano.
Come may, I never heard of this. Everybody's driving around

(02:17):
going Chris is a square because you didn't know the
private idahole in the eighties. Soon was I listening to
in the eighties? Run? Dmc l L Cool Jason and
those guys. I don't know. I'm wondering now I'm having
my goodnes don't know the beat? Do you know the
song love Shock? Yeah? I like that she toos I

(02:39):
can do with the rest of it. Without Lost Love
Shock was fine. I get that one, But the rest
of that joke, Private Idaho. That wasn't the B side.
That was a sea side. There's only two sides to
an album. All right? Whatever, alright, all right, Rob, let's
go here, Urban Myer. Do we have sounded this or

(03:01):
do I need to read it? Is that? What was that?
I got to read it? Okay, So here we go,
Rob Urban Myers. We know it's it's been tough sletting
for for the football college. He's finding that out right.
So um they're owing two of course, and not just
tough setting for him, but Trevor Lawrence as wells got

(03:23):
five interceptions, I believe. So. Anyway, after their loss to
the Broncos, of course, the coaches meet at midfield and
you know they they exchanged pleasant trees and Vic Fangio,
the coach of the Denver Broncos. Here's what he said

(03:47):
that urban Meyer told him after that game. This is
the NFL. Well, this is Vic saying it. This is
the NFL. I don't know urban Meyer at all. Really.
I met him the other day, shook his hand before
the game and after the game, and his comment to

(04:07):
me was every week is like playing Alabama in the NFL.
That's it. Everybody's capable of beating everybody in this league. Rob, quickly,
a couple of stats wore you before you you weigh
in Urban Meyer. In his whole tenure at Ohio State,

(04:29):
where he coached I believe seven years, he never won
lost more than two games. Now, of course they're on
the verge of starting oh and three. They play Arizona,
so Arizona's obviously got a good shot to lose that game.
Absolutely so they could go oh in three, losing more

(04:49):
games in the first three weeks that he lost in
any of his seven years at Ohio State. So, Rob,
your thoughts. It took the twelve million dollars a year,
you got the first pick. What did you think? Hello,
is this on Urban go? Did you do research and

(05:12):
look at the coaches who have left college and come
to the NFL and basically then left with their tail
stuck between their legs. It ain't a piece of cake
like college, where it's only a handful of teams and
all the other teams are just fodder for you. You
got that job more. Literally, go out and get the

(05:32):
best kids right literally literally, it ain't like that in
the pros. Asked Steve Spurrier, asked Nick Saban the greatest
college coach ever, asked him when he ran from Miami,
couldn't do it. And now you're like surprised. This is

(05:53):
a shocker that it's going to be a rough road. Hey,
Pete Carroll, we get it. Cal was an NFL coach. Yeah,
I'm not putting him in the college coach. He's not
in that because he was he had his great, great
success there, But he was an NFL coach first, and
then he went to b college and one at UFC
and then went back to the NFL and then Chris Uh,

(06:16):
We'd have to go all the way back to Jimmy
Johnson and the Cowboys twenty five years ago when Babbie
Schwitzer took over for him. Right, those are the time
when college coaches were winning an NFL champ A Super Bowls.
But since then the coverage been bare. And that was

(06:38):
twenty nine years ago. Um. Yeah, look for the coaches
you mentioned. Steve Spurrier, great college coach, lasted two years
in the NFL with Washington went twelve and twenty. Bobby
Petrino did well in college goes to the pro's last
thirteen games, Rob, Is that all it was thirteen game right? Right?

(07:03):
Nick Saban, you mentioned and I agree, greatest college coach
ever two years at Miami goes fifteen and seventeen. And
now you got Urban Ma. Here's what I'll say, and
this could be maybe this can be some inspiration for
an Urban Meyer. Rob. You mentioned the most successful guy
in recent memory, right that we can think of who

(07:25):
made the transition from college to the pros, and that
would be Jimmy Johnson. And here's the difference between Jimmy
Johnson and the rest of these guys. Jimmy stayed through
the hard times. Jimmy didn't show up in Dallas and
all of a sudden everything was great. No, they were

(07:47):
one in fifteen his first year, he stuck it. He
hung in there. They were seven and nine his second year.
They hung in there, eleven and five the next year,
but still don't win the Super Bowl. His fourth year
they got their butts kicked by the Lions. And Wayne Fons.
There you go with with with Troy Aikman and all
those guys, and and Emma Smith Chris that those guys

(08:10):
were all on the team. The Lions won that playoff game.
It was his fourth and fifth years. Rob, that he
won those Super Bowls in Dallas. Then he did go
to Miami coach for four years. This Craig he made
the playoffs three years, but never you know, got So
that's the difference, Rob, is that Jimmy Johnson hung in there.

(08:33):
None of these other guys lasted three years. So that's
what I don't know. Look, who knows what Urban's thinking? Hey?
You know what they tweeted out Sports Illustrated. Did you
see it, Chris or no? No? Sports Illustrated tweeted out
the quote, a lot of good players in this league. Man,
it's it's Alabama every week. And then the tweet from

(08:56):
SI says, how long will Urban Meyer last in the NFL? Question?
Mark already, Chris, that's all of that. Yeah, No, And
I get it. And it's not even like it's it's
not h If he leaves, it won't be an indictment
on his character. I mean, it is what it is.

(09:17):
I get it. If a guy who all he's done
is win just can't handle the losing. Rob just can't
stomach it. You're just tired. You're like, Look, I can
go back to college and I can. I know I
can win. I know the formula there. Do I really
want to stay here and lose twelve games every year?

(09:40):
You know? Um? If he does that, you know, and
goes back to college, it'll be fine to me. But
I would say to him, look at Jimmy Johnson, because
it's gonna be rough this year, Robbed, they might go
one in sixteen. You know that's possible. And you remember
people were thinking that, uh the Texans words Chris and

(10:01):
some other things. And no, Jacksonville looks bad, the Jets
look bad. Those were the two worst teams a year ago.
They look like the look in the league right now. Yep, absolutely,
And so yeah, we'll see. But I don't know. If
you you ask me, Rob, you put a gun in
my head, I would say that Urban is gonna get
tired of the losing. And does he last one year

(10:24):
or two years? I don't think he's quitting. I definitely
think he lasts a year and goes into the second
second year. Um, I'm gonna give him two years unless
Trevor Lords turn unless they turn it around next year,
maybe win ten games or something. Ten games. I know

(10:47):
that's the games my butt. Hey, it is the NFL.
You know, you never know, but what what are your
what's your guests? I think two years is right. I
think that's about it. And they'll be bad two years
and you know, I mean it'll be really bad this year.
Next year they'll win a few more games because just

(11:09):
from progress and Trevor Lawrence, you know, figuring some things out.
But ultimately, Chris, it's not it's not they're not going
to turn this around to the levels that he wants
and he's used to. So he'll be like, I don't
know if I could, I could just do this anymore.
And I think two years he don't feel like he's
a total quitter like he you know, he bailed out

(11:32):
on everybody, and he could be like two years, man,
it's just isn't progression or you know, I want to
be with my family or the hell thing. You know,
like whatever you gotta do, you could get your way
out of it after two oh yeah, no doubt. And
and Rob he's already had a bit of a come
uppance because he's found out, you know, in college he

(11:54):
could do absolutely whatever you want to do. Not here
he found out you can't hire this stress coach. You
kidd right that maybe it's your bod put Jim t
on the team right nextoor, neighbor and friend, it's not
it's not happening. And so that's part of it too,

(12:14):
is you got so much control in college, Rob, and
you just don't have that in the NFL. These are
grown men making more money than you, all right, and
you gotta know how to deal with that. So it's
gonna be interesting to see how urban Meyer handles this.
But you know, Rob, midway through this season, if they're
like one in eight, my goodness, it is going to

(12:38):
be interesting to see where his head is at, all right,
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven, seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. You'll turned away
in how long does urban Meyer last in the NFL?
Where his own words, every week's like playing Alabama. Here's

(12:58):
what he left out. Every every week is like playing
Alabama and you're Fresno. Be sure to catch live editions
of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker
weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. All right, it is

(13:19):
the I Couple. I am Chris he is robbing. We
are coming to you live from the Fox Sports Radio studios.
And also we're brought to you by all those owns.
If you're dealing with a dead battery, go to all
those own period. Don't think about any other place. And
they got them on just about every corner. No lie,

(13:39):
it's America's number one battery destination. They offer free battery
services like free battery testing and free battery charging. So
next time you're having battery trouble, head on over to
all those own It's your battery solution and America's number
one battery destination. All right, eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox. College coaches have struggled, you know, they've been struggling.

(14:07):
Name in the NFL. How long do you think Urban
Meyer lasts in the National Football League where he say
it every week is like playing Alabama. You'll turn away
in all right, I'm waiting to hear from who is it?
I'm sorry Jake in North Dakota. You're in the odd

(14:28):
couple Fox Sports Radio. What up, Jake? Hey, how are
you doing? Guys? Doing good? Good good? Yeah? I don't know.
I think I think the Urban Meyers he'll he'll probably
not do great this year, but after I think he'll
last a couple of years. Trevor Lawrence, I think is

(14:48):
the type of player who's gonna learn a lot from
the season. And Irban Meyer probably knows all the up
and coming great college players. So Johnsonville tanks for yeah
on this year, not even trying to tank, right right.
So you're saying his knowledge of the college players are

(15:09):
gonna help him draft better. I think so because they
didn't draft well past draft. I'm not sure that translates. Yeah,
you know, because somewhere in the pros. You know what
Matt Millen was that Matt Millan when he talked about
NFL players on television sound like a genius. And he

(15:32):
did remember that he did. He was great. He was
great on television doing that, and then he was a
terrible draft to when he took over the Lions organization. Yeah,
just it didn't translate. He knew better once you made
it to the league, Chris, rather than whether or not
you could make it in the league, if that makes
any sense. Well, he did even know that he had

(15:53):
a rough, rough go of it. It was a bad
eight and a half years for sure. How about the
it was arguably the worst general manager of history. Sport,
no doubt, No doubt is a siege in Seattle. You're
in the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio siege. Hey, Fallas,
I appreciate you. I'm talking to me me taking a call.

(16:14):
I'm getting real quick. All y gotta say is straight up,
Nick Saban, he's gonna with Miami. He's not gonna have
as much control. He's not gonna probably make as much money.
He's gonna do a one and done. He's gonna be out.
He's gonna be out there. I think it's gonna take
the USC job, but they offer it. It's out there.
You made a good you made a good point, Rob

(16:36):
dam thank you. You know, if you leave after a
year's people are gonna rip you, right, I mean, it
looks like you just quit it, right. You just they
made a commitment to you. They gave you a four
year deal, Chris, and when the going got tough, what
you do? You back ran? If you if you stay

(16:56):
too at least people are gonna be like, hey, you
know he he gave it a shot, you know, and
and it just was a bad situation, you know. So um,
I'm with you on that one. All right, let's go
to Keith in New Orleans. You're in the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. Hey Keith, first give us an update.
How are you in the family? And the thing's getting
back to normal in New Orleans or not? Yeah? Where

(17:20):
everybody's cool. U took about a week and a half
to get power, right, Bill getting power. But we have
a an issue with the sanitation issue out here. I
mean there's a little much garbage and bright that's not
getting picked up. There's a whole another issue that's that's
h and that's a health concern, Keith, because rats and

(17:42):
all kinds of stuff come out of everywhere, right, I
mean if yeah, flies, maggots, I mean it's it's right. Yeah, Yeah,
it's rough. But we're hanging in there. Man. We are
a resilient people. Should I should I cancel my trip
for November six to New Orleans or not? You come
in November six? Yes? No, yeah, we should be good man.

(18:03):
The city has has kind of did like a money
grow operation where the city workers are picking up tracks
instead of the contractor scienceation. So once we get that
out the way, we should be good man. And that's
and that's what about six weeks from now, so maybe
I still can make it to New Orleans. Okay, yeah, man,
we need we need the money. Man, come on, all right,

(18:24):
you get it too what you got. But listen, disrespect
what Tom Coughlin is, our readers. Tom Coughlin was a
head coach in college the Jacksonville Jaguars as an expansion
team and immediately made them good. And they want two
super bowls with no wait a minute, wait, wait a minute,
let's let's say this the rules. When he came into

(18:47):
the league with expansion. Remember, both of the expansion teams
did real well, Chris. Remember because they had all that
money to spend. They weren't real expansion teams. They had
the same money that the established teams having. If you remember,
both of those teams went to the Division the conference,

(19:08):
both of it was it was. It wasn't really fair,
there's no doubt about but they changed that. I'm gonna say,
Irvan gives another year. He's an a point of his
life that he's not he's not into a rebuilding job
and even going to USC that's a steal. That's kind
of like rebuilding me. They don't have those kind of

(19:28):
guys that used to have anymore, So he would have
to put some work in over there too, but I'm
gonna give another year. But he can do that in
college though he knows how to do that in college.
I'm with you. I think the losing is gonna get
to him. It's just human nature. But even on highest state,
it wasn't necessary rebuilding job. Two years before that they

(19:49):
had won or eleven games with Jim Trussell, so you
know that was rebuilding job. So I'm talking about earlier
in his career. Utah, Yeah, he's done that a few places. Right,
was he at Bowling Green Bowling Green before that? Yep? Yep, Yeah,
I don't know what they were like before him, but right, yeah,

(20:09):
but he's not rebuilding anymore, man, so even rebuilding so
uh yeah, he could do it at USC. Yeah. And
see the other thing too, is is you have more
control at USC? You know you're not. And he appreciate
the call, thanks buddy, Uh right, Chris like, yeah, you
have more control. Yeah, it's different. You could do what

(20:30):
you want like a d once he hires you, not
gonna stand in your way. He's not, I've no doubt, Rid,
And if he went to USC, he'd be successful. I
don't know if they win a national championship or something,
but they'd be right back in the national mix, you
know what I mean. I get players to come to
Los Angeles and playing this weather like, yeah, what whately

(20:51):
have you right? For people who haven't been to USC.
I mean, I teach there. Chris is gorgeous, you know
that that school is. That's the one thing I like
the East Coast better. But the one thing you can't
can't compete with is the weather out there. It is
just ridiculous, all right. It is the Eye Couple. Chris
and Rob Tisher's Tower of Trivia is next, but first

(21:14):
Ralph Irvin with the update route. I prefer prefer the
roight iron fences around USC myself, but that's okay, to
each his own, to each his own. I'm just just,
you know, it's it is what it is. And he
was I'm done like other people being funny on the show,
you know. Plus urban Meyer was already ripped my employer. Okay,

(21:36):
what are you doing? No comment? We go to we
go to Major League Baseball, where there is definitely a
playoff race going on in the American League, especially for
that wildcard spot. Boston sitting in the number one position,
and they're comfortably there tonight with an eleven two lead
over the New York Mets. That's in the sixth inning.

(21:57):
They are two games ahead of the New York Yankees
and the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jay's already lost today
seven one to Tampa Bay. The Yankees have just tied
it up with Texas at three in the seventh inning.
What happened, Well, that's Aaron Judge scored on a wild pitch,
so bases loaded, wild pitch, Aaron Judge scores and now

(22:18):
it's tied at three in the seventh inning. By the way,
Tampa Bay's win over Toronto today clinched a postseason spot
for the race, as they have a big lead there
in the division. Now, in the National League East, the
Atlanta Braves entered the night with a three game lead
over Philadelphia. Right now, the Phillies are tied with Baltimore
locked at two. That's in the seventh inning. Atlanta plays

(22:40):
coming up, as they will be at Arizona. Saint Louis
holds that second wild card spot in the National League
day of a big seven one lead, playing at Milwaukee.
That is in the bottom of the sixth enning Washington
a seven two lead Overmami. That's in the eighth and
Minnesota leads the Cups four two in the seventh inning.
Antonio Brown third Buccaneers player to be put on the

(23:03):
COVID list this week. He could be cleared in time
for Sunday's game with the Rams, though according to Bruce
Arians that means he's been vaccinated, just needs to follow
the NFL protocol. I thought they were all they would
have first fully vaccinated team and they got three guys
with COVID. Huh Well, But the point being is that
because the vaccination, they're still eligible to come back. They
don't have the ten day mandatory period. So if they

(23:25):
clear the protocol, there's still time. Not gonna be time
for two Atonga Vloa to play though this week, as
he has broken ribs. Jacoby Brissette will get the start
for Miami against the rad ribbs. Oh man, it's yeah,
It's the only thing tougher I would say is is
Tyrod Taylor, who for the third straight time has taken
a job with a young quarterback behind him and then

(23:46):
gets injured. Yeah, he's another one who can't get a break.
Can and started the season great, right, but he always
does he does. He did. He was one, one and
one with the Browns. He was good with the Chargers
and came off great with the Houston Texans. But he
is out as well. We sent it back now. It
is the odd Couple. It is Chris Brussard, Rob Parker,

(24:09):
gentlemen to you, all right, it is the Ayabu. Thank you, Ralph.
We appreciate all that you do. Brother. All right, We're
coming to you live from the Fox Sports Radio studios
and it's time for the segment that is taking the
nation by storm. I tell you it's called ty Shirts
Tower of Trivia, and no no ladies and gentlemen, Vegans

(24:32):
and meaty dance Kale Chip lovers, ruffle chip lovers. It's time.
This game is so easy for tight Shirts Tower of Trivia.
That's right, it is tie Shirts Tower of Trivia, the
segment that proves he didn't even gonna like sports to
work in sports media. And the star of this segment
no other than our resident DJ Tom Crady himself, the

(24:55):
king of web Nation. Check out the podcast, Alex Tysher
stay off the web, well yeah, stay off the weed,
but come check out the Weaves because we got you
covered an anime. Baby, I never missed the web Nation
because you never listened ran Everything's not fun. You know
I do. I have listened. You know that you listened

(25:15):
to the other podcast. You listen to The Shallow Oceans.
Oh oh yeah, that's a lifeto, that's a life. Yeah. Yeah,
you know nothing but the Weaves. Yeah, I don't know
nothing about the weeds. So you know this segment works.
We got what I believe to be our seven very
easy sports related trivia questions for Alex and nothing's easy
for Chris and Rob got to help him navigate the

(25:37):
tower get to the top end. Today's theme it's Ben
Simmons because you know he's been in the news a
little bit the last couple of weeks and his coach,
Doc Rivers is begging in the stay in Philly, so
he's you know, he honored with the theme of the
Tighter Tower Trivia today. I flipped the coin. During the update,
Rob Parker gets cracked at number one. Yes, now, this

(25:59):
one's kind of tough guy. I'm not gonna lie that.
It gets really tough, really quickly in this week's Tower
of Trivia, So you got to make these early ones count. Rob.
You can't give him away like last week. No, I
had good clues, Alex Warren listener, Rob, you weren't I had,
Rob g did? I'm not stop making excuse to fair square.

(26:19):
And again the rules. No rhyming, uh, no foreign languages
and it's got to be it's gotta be a real word. Okay,
those the rules again that should be unsaid. But rule
question number one, Rob Parker. Ben Simmons apparently has a
rift with this coach Glenn Rivers, who you might know
better by his nickname blank physician. Uh doctor that is correct, Yes, yes, doctor,

(26:57):
that counts. That's what it is. Somebody calls you Chris.
Your name though, Christopher, Chris, I'm just playing Chris Bruce
versus CHRISTI. I'm sorry. I should have heard of Kawhi laugh.
All right now, this is serious stuff on this game.
You don't know if you knew that. Here we go.
Number two, Chris soon say Pepper first. That was my

(27:19):
first club. You've gotten that Pepper Now he would not
he would not, No, I would not have. Right here
we go. Ben Simmons played his college ball here in
America four Blank State University. Go Tigers, that's Alex New Orleans.

(27:40):
Saints is incorrect. It's a good try Saints State. Yeah,
my bad. Okay, we go, Rob. Just make sure it's
somewhere past the nineties for references, please. Yes, I got it.
You gave me like some sixties stuff and some lady
with two Yeah, some lady with a hair bigger than
a birdhouse singing a song. Okay, but that was a

(28:00):
great song. I mean it was good. Here we go,
New Orleans. I just did New Orleans. Is that is
that legal? That is legal? Remember Rob getting the same
clue twice last she where's your pride with Joe clue
New Orleans? Well it's not Saints, Um, Rob, give me

(28:24):
the question more time, Blank State University, Go Tigers, New Orleans, Tigers.
The clue again, New Orleans the third time. I'm listening.
Here's the clue. Baton rouge. You guys are really bending

(28:47):
this one word clue, Oh, baton rue? One word is
it too? It's a word? Is? I think I know it?
You don't have one out the other. Yeah. And the
fact that Rob used the same clue before, it's kind
of you can't really have against you. But next week
we'll take that we'll take that consideration. Town. You shouldn't,

(29:09):
but we're doing what you got. What's what's your answer, Louisiana.
Huh that is correct? Ridiculous? How bad? I didn't get
bad Moves but not New Orleans? Well, how are you
can not get New Orleans the second time? That's what
I want to Alex. You notice who assaulted you? It
was robbed Man. Every time you start this game too,

(29:31):
he always looks down on it. But if you miss it,
it's my fault. Yeah, it's my fault. That's right. See
that's a real chance. Rob blames you. I blame myself.
See Rob, that's a team player question to blame pie
for you. Keep it up. Rob's the guy that looks
at you with a broken ankle. You're making me slow down.
We're moving up, Tishit's Tower of Trivia number three. Over

(29:54):
to Rob Parker. Ben Simmons plays internationally for the Boomers,
which is the nickname for the country of Blank. There's
a lot of under down under Australia words down no
one word. One word. That's two words. Look at I
think like Australian say down under like one word. No,

(30:17):
we did that this week, Rob, that one word for
city down count No, no, that counts okay. If you
would have said it fast done under it would have
been okay. But you said it with the space time.
Hold on, Rob Parker, two words, no, Rob Parker, I

(30:39):
got you the rest of this day because we gotta
do it. Rob Parker, I got you. How about this
guy is under hill one word? Yes, boom, there's a
word down under under hill under hill? Me roll is
one word? Okay, Well, there was a lot of confusions.
Is that one didn't? Not looking at up? I'm that

(31:01):
But Rob, you you do get the next question though.
We'll let you. Let you get another question. That does
give him a nitch and he wants to take me.
All right, Rob, you get the next crash at number four?
All right. Ben Simmons is repped by Clutch Sports. His
agent is Lebron James's long time friend. That guy is
rich blank, Rob park Are you there? Don't give me
two words? Please? Day today? Please? Rob? Okay? Now listen? Okay,

(31:25):
his last day safe? Okay, save all of that setup.
I like to set up. This is good. Oh he's
the last name. Here we go. So he grew up
in New Orleans. Okay, here we go he ate, no, no, no,
chicken wings, chicken nuggets. I'm ready clean wow, I know

(31:52):
the answer, and I would Rob can't get the question
again because that clust's help. It's not gonna help. Yeah,
it's a bad clue, but Rich blank Lean, Uh you
know what problem. I'm sorry to connection. I know it's bad,
but it's just popped in my head. So I'm a
say it even though I know it's like a cuisine,

(32:12):
Lean cuisine. Sorry, all right, Chris, if you get this,
you had that clue. It was just here we go,
Here we go. I had good clue. That was a
bad one. Here we go, all right down on you
the DJ. I'm ready baby, Paul music. That's right. Yeah,

(32:40):
I'm hanging off by ro. Admit that I delivered. Admit
that I delivered on this is can't get over it.
I mean, I mean I said New Orleans. You couldn't
get it. You say bad come from? How do you
even do? Like? Lean? Paul Lee hold on. So he
knew the clue, and I was like what I was

(33:00):
gonna say. Chris gives me a clue. I don't get it.
You give me the clue. Think I'm gonna get it.
I don't. I tried, and I'm a grooming though. Just
let the beat drop. Yeah, he's turn that moves that.
We don't need to say neighbors complaint. Let's listen to
the beat that Bob. That's it. Can we go to
the commercial? Brow There's another show coming on after this. Ah, Marty,
I couple coming your way. Let the Bonds take you away.

(33:25):

Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast from. I'm
telling you it's grown on me. It's grown on me.
He sounds terrible, but I'm into the words. You're gonna
start humming at sea. Hey, I told y'all this wasn't.
That wasn't the last time y'all were gonna hear Kanye tonight.

(34:34):
It is grown on me. I bet it's grown on YouTube, alley.
I love it now all right, giving praise to the
King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. On the
Worship Wednesday, we are the Eye Couple coming to you
live from the Fox Sports Radio studios and Rob Let's
wrap it up with a little baseball right up your alley.

(34:56):
And Jessica Mendoza, who you know, Made of does a
great job I think calling baseball. She's made a name
for herself. And Melanie Newman play she played softball softball
at a level I like fast pitched women's softball. Now,
some of them are really really great athletes. I mean

(35:17):
it's incredible, it really is. And I you know, when
I went to high school, I mean they had you know,
the girls played fast pitch softball and it was it's
like watching baseball. They throwing heat. I mean they throw
he I would like to try to hit. I mean
not maybe not now at my age, but I like
to try to have hit one back in then it
would be hard and it ain't that easy. Crew you

(35:39):
ever tried, Oh no, I haven't, but I've seen them.
They throw it. Yeah, oh yeah, they It's susight to
see the way they throw it. But anyway, Jessica Mendoza
and Melanie Newman will call Robe the first ever all
women's MLB broadcast on TV, because remember last year there
was something that they did, but I guess it wasn't televised.

(36:02):
They did at All Women's broadcast last year, but it
wasn't on YouTube all right, But this one's on ESPN
September twenty ninth, and it's gonna be in all women's broadcast,
So congratulations to them. I think that's uh, that's good,
and I'm looking forward to that. It'll be instant. But

(36:23):
but I would have said, I'm not taking anything away
from them, Chris and what they're doing, but there's a
woman out there with Brooke Barrier is a long time
ago and continues and if you ever hear her or
hear any of her color commentary, She's tremendous. I've known her.
She used to cover the NBA, Chris, she used to
cover the nets with me first at year. I didn't

(36:45):
know that, you know, I've just known her as as
a baseball Nope, she covered the NBA. We covered the
nets together. Susan Walman's who I'm talking about. And that's
when she first came to New York and started doing
w FA and in New York and whatnot. And now
she does Yankee games on CBS AM in New York
and Chris, you ready for this. She's been doing Yankee

(37:07):
games since two thousand and five, that's what sixteen years correct,
and she's the color commentary person color commentator. Think about
what the job she has. Those jobs typically go to
who Chris ex athletes, ex athletes. Susan Walman doesn't do

(37:28):
any play by play. John Sterling is the play by
play voice of the Yankees. Think about the job that
she's done for the last sixteen years. And the Yankees
and the radio network have never wanted to put in, uh,
some former player who has way more star power and
cashe right, knowing that they played the game than Susan Walman.

(37:51):
I think she's and she's good, Chris. And she's good.
She is good. She is good. She's you know, like
I said, when I got into New York, um or
the New York area, right, she was a baseball reporter,
you know, and I don't know her. I've never met her,
rob but I've never always done it. Yeah, I've never
met she always does a good job from when I here,

(38:11):
and she's knowledgeable, she's you know, was a good reporter.
And um yeah, she she does do a great job.
So that's a good cook. It's incredible to be a
color commentator for the New York Yankees. Think about that
a woman. Noah, that says a lot because almost I
mean almost always it is an ex athlete for the

(38:33):
color or coach or coach, right a Jeff Van Gundi,
a Doc Rivers when he wasn't coaching, you know, Doug Coyle,
look that up. Susan might be the only one who's
not a athlete or coach. Chris, you might be right, Wow,
that'd be something we had to check get We had
to get robbed g on that. Yes, all right, it
is the I couple signing off on a worship Wednesday,

(38:56):
but don't leave. Keep it locked right here or Fox
Sports Radio, the iHeartRadio app or series XM Channel eighty three,
