(00:26):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It is the Odd Couple.
I am Chris, he is Robbed. We are coming to
you live from the Fox Sports Radio studios on a
fucking flashback Friday, and we got our man Lamar Mitchell
(00:46):
from the MGM Grand the racing sports book director there.
He is joining us at the bottom of the hour
as he does every Friday, and then we will do
our NFL pigskin pick off to wrap up the show
and the week rob We spoke with a few players,
Sean King, who played for John Gruten African American players
(01:10):
as well Dayton Jones who played briefly for John Gruten
Coffee in the sweet role. That's right, yeah, yeah, um,
and they you know, they they really aren't making a
big deal out of his comments from twenty eleven. What
do you what do you think about that? Yeah? I'm always.
(01:32):
I think it's it's hard to go to players to
get honest takes because they always feel like they gotta
and I know these guys are former players, but still
it's like it's like the basketball the bad basketball coach Chris,
Like he does something wrong, but he recruited you, so
(01:54):
you know, it's hard for you to go against him,
no matter what the scenario is, because if there's something
wrong with him, then maybe there's something wrong with me
because he he recruited me. So you always have like
an allegiance. So I'm I get it. I'm not asking that.
We're not asking him to come out and say, oh yeah,
John Gouden, he said that he's a racist. He's this,
(02:15):
he's that, he's the other. That's not what we're talking about.
It should concern you. Whether someone does something to you
directly or not, doesn't mean that that there's some underlying
or something there. That's just a red flag to me
that that's that's how I look. You know, I'm not
I don't know about what he's done and all the
(02:36):
other stuff, but that there's something there. You just don't
throw that around Chris, knowing how racist that's been the
whole idea of black people with big lips. I'm sorry,
there's no way around that, right, right, And I think
Daytone Jones. Uh, he called for an apology, so I
(02:57):
give him that. He called for a public statement from
John Grew and obviously the Raiders have done that, and
he should do it, you know, he shouldn't. Just he's been,
if possible, be swept under the Yeah, he's been quoted,
but I mean I think an official statement, you know
what I mean, not just a quote because somebody asked
me about it, but I would. I was harappy about
(03:18):
the Raiders cos because because of the Raiders organization, you know,
like right, it's hard for me to throw stones at them.
It just this right there? You have it, all right,
rob interesting. You know, this is the seventy fifth anniversary
season for the NBA, and as they did with the
fiftieth anniversary, the Cleveland ninety seven, I have that post
(03:44):
to Chris. Remember the poster that gave out with the
top fifty players and Shack didn't show up, which was
Jack was put on that team prematurely, right, but he
didn't stay. Yeah, right, he knew he was he obviously
a top fifty, right, but he didn't belong on that
team at that time. He just did right. I don't
know why they did that. What did they think they
(04:06):
weren't gonna do a top seventy five list, you know
what I mean? Like you should have been a lat list, right,
and uh, that's that'll be coming up. And now a
lot of publications are, you know, releasing their top seventy
five players. CBS Sports has done one. I believe hoopsheight
dot com, which is a big NBA website, has done one.
(04:29):
Um USA Today has done one, and UM, we're not
gonna obviously go through all. What was that? Well that
even if it isn't great, Okay, sorry, Well I actually
think overall, you know, it was several writers, rob Gie.
How many writers participated in this? Fifteen writers? So obviously
(04:50):
everybody had their own still have fifteen writers at USA today? Wow?
I guess so because it's you know, the dot com.
But rob they I actually agreed with their top five
in total. Their top five was this, Michael Jordan number one.
Maybe I should go from the bottom, Will Chamberlain number five,
(05:10):
Magic Johnson number four, Kareem three, Lebron two, Michael Jordan
one and I've yet robbed to see a list that
doesn't have Michael Jordan at number one. For all you
young millennials out there, Rob G, you included and everybody
voting is not sixty five. So stop it exactly, just stop,
(05:32):
man like like like this whole notion that Lebron has
passed Michael and oh, I remember when we came back
from three to one. That's when I knew I was
to god, all that talk. I'm sorry, no one's gonna
do that. Lebron smart, he's paying in seeds, That's what
that is. That's putting it out there, and you know,
(05:53):
putting it out there, the narrative out there, and I
don't blame you, that's smart. But it hadn't worked because
everybody's is still saying Jordan. Um, here's the thing quickly
about Jordan, Rob nobody's had a perfect career. I mean,
Jordan didn't go to the finals every year, didn't win
it every year, right, but he's had about the closest
I've seen, I would say the closest I've seen in
(06:16):
the NBA. You know, Bill Russell obviously won eleven rings.
I mean, it don't get much any better than that,
but he didn't have the individual dominance statistically that Jordan had.
You know, um Bill average fifteen points a game, forty
four percent shooting as a center. You know, obviously defense
(06:39):
and rebounded were two of his huge forte's um Jordan
dominated both individually in terms of statistics. His stats were
just like Rob. He was like several points better than
the other best scores in the league. He led the
league in scoring ten years in a row at a time. Rob,
they didn't think, and you know this, the conventional wisdom
(07:02):
at the time was that you couldn't lead the NBA
in scoring and win championships, certainly not multiple championships, because Will,
as much as he scored fifty points forty four points,
thirty eight points a game, he didn't win championships those years.
The years he won it, he average twenty four points
a game the first year and fourteen the second. Larry
(07:25):
Bird never as great a score as he was, never
led the league in scoring Magic Obviously, that wasn't a
huge score average nineteen points a game. Kareem didn't lead
the league in scoring with Showtime like the teams that
were winning. Rob didn't have a guy that was leading
the league in scoring, So Jordan comes in and says,
I'm not only gonna lead the league in scoring, I'm
(07:46):
gonna win, you know. And so he never robbed. Also
had that moment that many have had where it looked
like the stage was too big. Magic had it in
eighty four when they were calling him tragic. Johnson against Boston.
Lebron obviously had in twenty eleven. They rebounded rebounded from him,
(08:09):
both of them, but they had it Jordan never had.
Like when Jordan lost robbed, I mean he went down
swinging like a mug. You know what I'm saying. He
went he lost average in forty you know what I mean.
Like it wasn't that he wasn't he show off? Yeah yeah, yeah,
I mean the team just wasn't good enough. So I say,
(08:32):
I think probably the most controversial part of the top
five is Wilt Chamberlain. But I got him in there, right.
I gotta respect the stats. I mean, I called the
NBA Record Book rob the all the biography of Wilt
Chamberlain because he's got stuff that's just never gonna be broken.
And so that's why I got him in now. And
(08:53):
he's got the two rings. You know, you gotta win
some rings. He's got the two. So but what what
you got the issues with the top five? Not really
I think that that's a fair top five. Um. I
will say, I do have a problem with Isaiah where
he is. And I know he didn't play a long
(09:14):
time Chris and guys didn't play that though, yeah yeah, yeah,
but I'm saying, like I think he should be higher,
I really do. I mean, he won back to back,
he went to a few championships. He didn't have another
top fifty, but they got him at twenty four, right,
(09:35):
and which I agree with you, is too low, am I? Right? Okay,
so you be on that. That's that's that's too long.
He should be at my top ten. So that yeah.
But but but that's the first thing that jumped out
of me, is that Isaiah's too low to a beaten
Bird and Magic and Michael all in their primes to
(09:58):
not have that other star our player with him, you know,
with him. And that doesn't mean that Duke Mars's other
guys weren't and Sally, I mean Hall of Fame or exactly.
But but I'm just saying like he he deserves more
than some of these other guys who were here, who
haven't won nearly. You know, I'm one or been to
(10:21):
the finals nearly as much. I got him at seventeen, Rob,
And here's the guys I have ahead of So i'll
read just I'll skip over my second five. I got
Elijahan at eleven, Oscar Robertson at twelve, Doctor j at thirteen,
Kevin Durant fourteen, Steph fifteen, Jerry West sixteen, Isaiah time
(10:43):
Is seventeen, Um, Carl Malone eighteen, Moses Malone nineteen, Charles
Barkley twenty. UM. My second five is this Larry Bird
at six. And you mentioned it weeks ago, Rob. The Celtics.
When Bird showed up, they had won twenty nine games
(11:05):
the year before. He told sixty one is a rookie.
The next year, I told people that all the time
he had immediate impact. That's how they were able to
get Bird. You know, in the draft they were awful.
They were awful. Yep, he was better than Magic the
rookie year. I mean, he's just that Magic won the championship.
(11:28):
But right, Magic had that great game in the finals,
not that Magic had a great year, don't get me wrong.
I mean Magic was eighteen and seven and seven as
a rookie, but Bird was the rookie of the year.
You know, Magic wasn't and Bird had a better rookie year,
but did, like you said, Magic won the championship and
played terrifically in Game six. I got Tim Duncan seven
(11:49):
over Kobe. I got Kobe eight. Now, Tim Duncan deserves
to be there. That's another guy because he's not flashy,
and he doesn't have the flair and he doesn't that
people would be hard us to remember anything he ever
said seriously during his career, like sound bites or whatever.
This guy I'm trying to think of when right, there
were no sound bites, Chris, I've covered this league's nineteen
(12:11):
eighty seven. There are no Tim Duncan sound bites. But
he won five championships. And what didn't he do with
He didn't have a shock, you know like Kobe did
a power because I mean my new and Tony Parker
were great. No, there's no doubt, but he but he was.
He was as good as it gets and he won.
(12:32):
He did everything, Chris, he gets overlooked. His name doesn't
even come up. And and I hate to say this
because I know would have could have should have Ray
Allen doesn't hit that shot because he's six for six
in the NBA finals, Like Michael, Well, here's the only push,
right is what would have happened? Remember Rob, how motivated
(12:56):
they were, knowing they gave away a ring, you know
what I mean? Like would they have come back that
next year and repeated they never repeat or remember that? Right,
that was the thing. And but but that they would
have shot for five? He would put that but that one. Yeah,
he would have been five for five at minimum. Yeah,
and it wouldn't have lost. I mean it had been undefeated,
like Michael, So I think that that's lost Sometimes people
(13:16):
forget that, yeah, because that's I would rather have had
Kobe's career, Like if you if I could have been
one of those players, I would have rather been Kobe.
You know, just the grace, the style, the flash, the flair.
He was iconic, you know, even before he's not iconic
because of the tragic death. I mean, he was iconic
(13:37):
just because of what he was. But um, yeah, I objectively,
I think you gotta give it to Duncan. And then
I got Shock nine and Bill Russell ten. So any
issues Russell too low for you? Levin rings. But you
know it's a different NBA. I'm cool with it. There
were eight teams in the league. And my big thing
(13:59):
on him him I'm not knocking him because he played
when he played. But go back to that era. The
Yankees won every year, the Package one every year, Celtics
won every year, and the Montreal Canadians chrise, go look, look,
those were all the best teams. There were no free agency.
They had the best team every year and they won
all the championships. Those were the teams back then. Yep,
(14:21):
all right, eight, seven, seven, ninety nine on Fox, What
do you think of my all time top ten? Who's
too high? Who's too low? Here it is Bill Russell ten,
Shock nine, Kobe eight, Tim Duncan seven, Larry Bird six,
Will Chamberlain five, Magic four, Kareem three, Lebron two, m
J one. You're turned away. In Fox Worts Radio The

(15:28):
in with Chris and Rob on the Funky Flashback Friday.
What do you think of my top ten NBA players
of all time? This is pretty funky right here? Yeah,
it is. All right. Let's kick it off with Jabriel
in Atlanta. We haven't heard from him in a while.
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What up? What? Yeah,
I've been listening. I just think all right, all right,
(15:50):
all right, great to hear from me, my man, Thank you, Yo?
What you got? I would like, Well, y'all put Kobe
because that y'all always say that Kobe. It's a closer
thing to Mike Man. I know Mike. Y'all all trained
to say Michael Jordan. It's a great train. What does
that mean? What is that? Y'all don't know, because y'all,
(16:10):
y'all won't never admit that anybody who is better than Mike?
How is that trained exactly? I mean not all of
the media say no. No, that's because it's almost a consensus,
that's right. I mean, who's better? Tell me who was
better than Michael? No, I'm wnna say I would say
(16:31):
it like this, y'all? Who is better than Michael? Was
he who was better than Michael? Kobe was a nod stop?
There wasn't at you give me give me a ration? Now?
What give me a ration? Now? What was he better at?
Why was he better? He was just a better player
the game. He win the game. He wasn't as a
(16:52):
fishing of a score. He wasn't as good as a defender,
and he went on pass he put on his team.
Shack was better than the second guy in the league
with a skill level with how you stopping and the
skill level how you know, the skill level get better
(17:12):
every couple of years. The ball handling is better, and
the shooting with range is better, and the athleticism is better.
Team basketball as well, and Chris defensively, you can't touch anybody,
don't tell me Michael wouldn't dominate in the league where
you can't even caught anybody today. Stop and I mean it,
(17:34):
y'all need to stop with that. Non Bryant and and
God bless him and everybody trying to downright nobody dissing
Kobe played eight years with Shock, drawing, doubling sometimes triple teams,
and Kobe never shot better than forty six percent. Hello, Hello,
Michael Jordan was a career forty nine point seven percent shooter.
(17:58):
It wasn't for those two years in Washington. He would
have been over fifty percent for his career when he
was old and watching. Stop it just coming like, can
you imagine what Rob if Jordan had a shot for
eight years? How many reads with you one? Ridiculous? Are you?
They wouldn't have lost, Chris, they wouldn't have lost? Are
you kidding? And they didn't lose? Think about it? He
didn't like anyway? No, were you just really incredible? Rusted?
(18:23):
You better didn't have better than that? Man? With that?
You sound rusty and Virginia, you're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Rusty? That was ow
y'all we're doing good. First, I want to say, Rob,
it's the greatest sports I ever watched on televisions. With
those Sunday mornings. I used to wake up to see
(18:44):
you and John and Bill Rowden on the Sports Guy there.
I loved that mass long ago. But the only problem
I have with the only problem I have list Brisards
list is you've got to drop Wilson, Norman Chamberlain back
to about seven and slide Larry Bird and Duncan up.
Let me tell you something about Duncan that's never spoken up.
(19:06):
Duncan has the highest defensive metrics in the history of
batketball by ten percent over anybody else in the game ever.
Plus he did twenty years of fifty wins every single season. Right,
he was a fifteen time All Defense This dude, this
dude is the real deal. And I hear your, uh,
(19:30):
your point on Duncan And it was his personality, Chris,
not his game. If he had a different personality or
you kidding me, and he was talking and I had
to say, because I don't have even obviously in the
goal conversation, but if he was like, that's Kevin Garnette's personality,
he might be in the goal conversation. He might be.
He was that good, There's no doubt about it. How
(19:52):
about David in Miami, You're in the odd couple Fox
Sports Radio. What up David? Hey, guys, listen, I had
this conversation with you for I am a die hard
Nick fan, and I hated the Celtics. Okay, but how
you don't have Bill Russell with eleven championships up there,
one or two is beyond me. You keep saying there
(20:13):
were only eight teams in the league. What if we
got back to eight teams now and there was a
draft and we only took eight teams. Do you think anyone,
any one team would dominate the way Bill Russell dominated
with only eight teams. And then wait a minute, wait
a minute, let me let me ahead. Okay, here's your
my pushback. When you look at Mickey man On and
(20:36):
those Yankees that went to the World Series every year
or whatever it at Derek Jeter's five championships, we have
to go through three playoff rounds. Wasn't like winning the
division and going straight to the championship. So it is
skewed right. And Bill Russell won two playoff rounds for
his first champions That's what I'm trying to tell. Yes,
(21:01):
he made everybody better. What he did win some of
those people, well, some of those players. Bob Couzy was
there before obviously Russell got there and Couzy was. They
were a good team, they were making the playoffs, Couzy
was an MVP. So I'm just saying they didn't win championships.
(21:22):
You're right, R. Couzy was a great player. Yeah, it's
not a bad car. I mean, I just robbed Russell
shot forty four percent from the field, and I were
talking about quarterbacks all the time, right as a six
ten guy in you know, as center at that point,
even at in that time, that wasn't really that high
(21:44):
and so um, you know, again, not taking anything away
from the great Bill Russell, you know, but that's where
we got him. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports

(22:46):
Does a great job every week getting you prepared to
make money, big money on the weekend NFL games. Our
man Lamar Mitchell. What's up, brother? Yo? What's up fell us?
How you guys doing tonight? Doing great? I'm doing good.
(23:07):
Thanks for having me on. I'm I'm getting ready for
the weekend. Big weekend here. Yeah, yeah it is. It
has a light. That's a big weekend. You know that
in Vegas? Yeah, oh absolutely so. Tell us. I mean
a lot of the people you know seem to think
why a Fury is going to beat him like he
did in the second fight, if not worse. What is
(23:27):
the betting looking like? Where the sharps at the Joe's
all that well? Believe it or not? I mean, we've
been pretty consistent on the action here. We're still at
two eighty on Fury two thirty and Tyson plus two thirty.
But the pros or, I want to say, the money's
coming in on Wilder, about nine to one more money
(23:51):
on Wilder because it's still early, and as far as
the tickets, it's about five to one of Wilder's favor
So I think a lot of people are affecting him
to come up with a better game plan than he
had in that last that rematch. Well, do they think
that they'll be the fix will be in so that
they can get a fourth fight? How's that? I'm just saying.
(24:12):
I'm just saying I would never don't pour water on
the fight, right, I'm sorry, I'm just I'm just saying
a fair fight. All right, Let's get to some football,
go ahead, all right, here we go. All right. One
of the bigger names on Sunday are bigger games, I
should say, is the Browns and the Chargers both three
and one. But I see that that game opened up
(24:34):
as a pick them, and now since then it's bed
down to Chargers minus two? Is that better? Is just
reacting to what they saw Monday night? Against the Raiders.
Oh absolutely. I mean, we have it at believe it
or not, Chargers two minus one oh five, and the
money is it's about three to one in the favor
(24:56):
of the Chargers, and tickets are about three to one
the Chargers. And you know, a fell is kind of
like the last image that you see is what the
last thing that people think. So you know, definitely people
are high on the Chargers, you know, with Mayfield hurt,
with the torn labor. Uh, you know they're they're not
expecting the Chargers that have too much of an issue
(25:16):
with that Brown's running offense. All right, to let's go
to Urban Meyer the Jaguars. I'm trying to bite my tongue.
I have that so many lines I want to get
out to keep us on the air. Okay, yeah, yes,
you know me. Thank God for the delay. All right,
(25:39):
every single former NFL player though I've been, we've had
on the show. I said that Urban has definitely lost
the locker room. And yet I'm hearing that the betters
are are on Jacksonville this week against the Titans. Is
this true? Because I think this is going to be
a blowout for the Titans. Go ahead, No, no, no,
that is mistaken information. Okay, the public and the and
(26:01):
the and the jos. I mean, we're only at four
and a half on this game, but the money is
twelve to one in the favor of the Titans, and
the and the ticket count is nine to one in
favor of the Titans. So this is our classic. Joes
and pros are on the same side for game this weekend.
And you know what, Lamar, it's twofold because the Titans
(26:21):
lost to the Jets, so you know what I mean,
Like they're coming off a terrible loss and then all
the turmoil with the Jacksonville So that's why I look
at as if the Titans lose to the Jets and
Jaguars back to back weeks, there's season's about over all. Right,
last week they were throwing to the receivers like me,
you know, I can't run. I can't run an out pattern.
(26:43):
So you know this week they're a little bit better.
Uh so, yeah, I mean, you're right, this is a
big game for the Times. They can't go oh and
two against the jetson well, in that division, they would
still be alive. I mean that that divisions can't be
we think people think, take you Seriously, if you lose
to those two back to back, that's all. Now, it
would be bad. But like I said, you know, look
(27:04):
at Indeed, look at Jacksonville, look at Houston. You know
what I mean. Like it's just a bad division. But
all right, anyway, another game that stands out to me
lamar Steelers against the Broncos. Now because don't think it'll
be a great game, but because I think there's money
to be made betting the under on this one. Neither
team's got a great quarterback, but they both have great defenses.
So what kind of action are you seeing on the
(27:24):
total here? Actually we're pretty solid at forty and a half.
But you're you're right, that's a solid number four that
that don't have offense. But you know, with Bridgewater coming back,
uh anticipated that he's coming back. The money's all on
the Broncos. On the side. Total has been pretty pretty steady.
(27:46):
The sharps to bet this game when they thought Bridgewater
was out. Now they bet it all the way up
to one and a half on the Broncos that they
think he's gonna be in the game. Wow, Okay, Patriots
or nine point road favorites in Houston, and I get
it when you get beat forty nothing. Um, but I'm
(28:07):
hearing that they could be down four starters along along
their offensive line due to COVID protocol. So is that
something that betters are taken note of? Well, right now,
the I think information you have, the betters haven't heard
that yet. We did see that, and the money is
still four to one on the Patriots and tickets are
(28:29):
about two to one. So we'll see what comes in
on the weekend. But you know, as more information gets
out about this offensive line, because you're right, I mean,
the Patriots had a huge emotional game last weekend, and
without four starters on the offensive line, that plus nine
could look really juicy. All right. Last thing, lamar the
game of the week obviously Sunday Night Bills traveling to
(28:51):
Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. Did you tell
me about the Johnson Cowboys? That might be better than
people think? But I think this was got to be.
The total opened up at fifty six, and looking at
the board right now, I see us up to fifty
six and a half. So what kind of action are
you seeing on this game? I'm we're both expecting to shootout.
(29:14):
Oh absolutely, I mean usually when the Chiefs are in
prime time, they're they're people like to bet them over
because the explosive myths of the offense. I mean, Patrick
Mahomes and his crew receivers just up and down the field,
up and down the field. They don't score field goals,
they score touchdown so and they expect the Bills. You know,
(29:35):
the Bills have shut out the last two opponents, but
the last two opponents weren't very good, so you know,
Josh Allen can put some points on the board too. Basically,
though we talked about this before in the past, the
betters are still betting the Chiefs because they're the Chiefs
and they know they have that explosive offense. Although the
ticket account is two to one in favor of the Bills,
(29:58):
the money's two to one in it on the cheeks
all right, Lamar, great fun always, man, I feel so
prepared for this weekend's pigs can pick off and christ Yes, right,
it's early, it's early, just like the Chiefs. I'm a
slow starter, but I'll be coming back. Believe I'll see
you next weekend in Vegas. Thank you bye, looking forward
(30:21):
to catching up with you, Rob you too more. I
couple coming your way. Like I said, the Pigskin pick
Off his next keep it live Fox Sports Radio. Be
sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple with
Chris Broussard and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern
four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeart
(30:41):
Radio app. Nice way to end it, Tight shirt, Nice
way to end it. It is the Eye Couple, Chris
and Rob on a fucking flashback Friday, and we are
giving it to you. What are we gonna give you
is the NFL pigskin pick Off? Give it to me, baby,
(31:03):
You ready to retire? The Odd Couple is gonna make
you rich gambling corruptions, the pigskin Pickoff. Yes, sir, it
is the pigskin Pickoff. Chris and Rob picking NFL games
against the spread. And it was a rough week for
us last week, you know, not really good for the
Odd Couple as a unit. But I will say on
(31:23):
the season, Rob Parker's picking sixty percent winners, putting money
in your pocket. Rob is like the Denver Broncos. Nice
little star, freaking one looking Rob. I'm looking right, I'm
the Chiefs. I'm I'm about to get it going. When
I go next Saturday, I might stay there. I'm just
(31:44):
telling it. We might have a new casino going up
right called but no, way, no how, I love it. Alright,
let's get who was right last night? Thank you? We're
talking about the pigskin pick always non secretary secretary is like,
I just believe working at Fox News. All right, let's
(32:09):
get to it. We're picking NFL games against the spray spread.
Game number one, We're going across the pond Jets at
the Falcons. No real home team in this one though,
Falcons two and a half point favorites. Rob What do
you like neither team? I think they both stink. But
I'm gonna take the Falcons. Uh, Jets winning two in
a row. I'm still not confident in the Jets. I
(32:30):
know the Falcons beat the Giants. I hate both of
these teams. I'm just gonna take the Falcons. Yeah, I mean, look,
they're They're both horrible. There's no doubt about it. Um
Falcons need to win. Kyle Pitts has been disappointing. He
needs to step it up. So I got at lanted
as well. Falcons down their top two receivers this weekend,
(32:52):
so we'll see that goes. Game number two, the Jets,
Aaron Rodgers and the green Bay Packers is going to
Sindy to take on Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Packers
three point road favorites. Chris, are you taking man? I
was tempted to go with Cincinnati, in fact, the Packers.
I put the Packers on an upset alert today on television.
(33:14):
But it's an alert, it's not a prediction. So at
the end of the day, I decided I'm gonna go
with the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. So I got green
Bay in this one. I got green Bay winning by
fourteen points in this game on the road at Cincinnati, yep.
And Joe Mixon questionable in this one. That's great. We'll
find out all right. Game number three of the picks
(33:35):
can pick off Christ and Rob picking NFL games against
the spread. Chicago Bears. Justin Fields's first career NFL start,
excuse me, second career NFL start, going to Vegas to
take on the Raiders after they got embarrassed on Monday
Night Football. Raiders five and a half point home favorites.
Rob Parker, He's taking the Raiders look terrible, but I
(33:57):
still I'm gonna take them the Bears. I'm just not
there with the Airs. They beat the Lions. The Lions
with the eight yard line or better three times, got
no points in that game. I'm gonna go with the Raiders.
I think Rob's been peeking over my shoulder because I'm
still in my answers. I got the Raiders. I mean
they're coming off a bad loss. Derek Carr, I think
(34:20):
he's got something to prove after Joey Bosta basically said
he's uh skittish in the pockets and he gets in
the embryo position when the pressure comes. And Chicago actually
does rush the pastor very well. They got fifteen sacks,
leads the league. But I'm still going with the Raiders
in this one. They had Raiders had a reshuffled offensive
line this weekend with Khalil mac coming the town. It's
(34:42):
really not a good time to do that, but you
know it is what it is. Game number four, the
one I'm very excited to see the Browns against the
Chargers opened up as a pick them now. It's Chargers
two point home favorites. Like our man, Lamar Mitchell said, Chris,
who do you like? Look, I don't blame this one, OBJ,
But there the facts. The numbers are what they are, Baker.
(35:05):
Whether he's intimidated by OBJ or just feels, you know,
required to get him the ball or whatever, he's not
the same quarterback, or at least hasn't been. I'm not
gonna say he won't be, but so far it hasn't been.
He hasn't been at his best when OBJ is on
the court, on the field, and OBJ, of course is
on the field. I'm going with the Chargers in this one.
(35:27):
Of course, I think you're being unfair to OBJ. I do,
I think he said, I don't blame it on OBJ,
but the numbers are what they are. Yeah, but I
just the Browns haven't played that great either on other areas.
But anyway, one I got, I got the Chargers. I
got the Chargers. Uh. I just love the offense where
they are a home game, I like them minus two points. Chocky, choky,
(35:52):
guys picking all favorite. It's all the way down the
board and you're on the same page in each one.
This is wild speaking a while, nothing San Francisco over
the Dodgers. Wait a minute, the Giants Buster Posey went
deep to run home, running all right? That that team.
That team is pretty damn good. The lastest game of
the Pickskin pick Off Game of the Week Bills at
(36:14):
the Chiefs of rematch of the a FC championship game
Pat Mahomes and the Boys two and a half point
home favorites. Is that Rob Parker's up first? I believe
here we go. Rob. I'm gonna go with the Bills.
Bills win the game. I gotta stop cheat, just stop peaking,
stop peaking. I think these are obvious picks this week,
(36:34):
but the Bills. I just don't like to choose defense.
I think that this could be a problem. I'm gonna
take the Bills, yeah, I mean obviously, I like Kansas City.
I think they'll get turned around defensively. Mean, the offense
is fine, but Buffalo, man, they're excited about this game.
They're playing well, they're run defensive solid, their past defense
(36:57):
is solid. They're not gonna shut Myhomes down, but I
think they can hold him down just enough. And I
don't know that Kansas City can do anything. I mean,
last week, Rob, Philadelphia did not punt. They scored on
six of their eight possessions. Those possessions that they didn't
score and ended because a halftime. Now that says a
(37:18):
lot right there, Yes, Sis, And then you remember when
they played Dallas, they were they turned to google their offense. Absolutely,
so Rob got Buffalo on this one too. Last week?
What were we? Both? Two and three? Rob? Two and three,
Chris one and four? Oh, Chris is terrible, okay, And
so on the season this season. I know you don't
(37:43):
get victories very often on this show, So go ahead,
I'm gonna let you join the season. Rob Parker picking
sixty percent winners, Chris, we start picking forty five percent,
not even close, it's not it's early, not even all right.
How many times have we seen rallies? But Brooklyn's right now,
(38:04):
don't be by big copied, he copied. So you know
it's unfortunate that that I'm not gonna get to make
up some ground this weekend. My goodness, my goodness. Peace
