(02:00):
Thursday night for the draft? Yeah, when it's only an hour,
odd couple? Do we get paid for all three hours? Yes? Okay,
I'm there. I'll be there. I just said it on
the air. I'm hoping I'm right, but yeah, I believe so. Yes,
Rob G. Rob G would know because he if we weren't,
he wouldn't show up. So if Rob Gee's coming, I'm

(02:21):
not gonna show up either way, you're not coming at that.
I'm not gonna be here. I'm gonna be doing Fox
Sports Radios tremendous NFL Draft show live from Vegas. He's, oh,
look at you. How do we do your way into that?
Because I know Rob Parker and Christmas Sorry? Yeah right?
Oh man? What a nice trip. Are you on how
long you will be there? Rob? Like thirty six hours?

(02:41):
Nothing crazy? Really? Yeah? Is it Robert? He's got I
was texting him. I was like, hey, Lamar, I'm trying
to come see if I can carve out some time
you avoid you not returned to return to text. He's
texting me now, but we'll see you the day of
if he I can't help you. Hello, who is this Rob? Ge?
All right? We got Tisher's Tower of Trivia at the

(03:03):
bottom of the hour. That is always fun, so keep
it locked for that. But first, I cheated last time.
But that's okay, No, you cheated. You take the guide out?
You cheated? Oh really? Oh it's like that out. That's
why I'm munching on this spaghetti and meat sauce. That's

(03:24):
not fair to spite you know, you want meat and lettuce.
I just want Here we go, um, Rob Draymond Greene,
who's got the great podcast on the Herd Networks volume
or whatever. But he was talking about the voting because
of course now we're hearing some of the the vote

(03:45):
you're in and we're finding out who won all these
regular season awards in the nf NBA. I'm sorry, and
Draymond's taking issue with the voting process, which is roughly
one hundred or might out of is exactly a hundred,
but it is roughly one hundred. Media members vote for

(04:07):
the different awards. I'm one of them, and we vote
for Coach of the Year, player, the MVP, all that stuff,
and Draymond doesn't like it. Here he is. I think
when you look at voting for all NBA, when you
look at voting for Defensive Player of the Year, Most
Improved Player, MVP, ultimately these things are voted on by

(04:27):
the media, which I think is absolutely disgusting because these
are human beings that could have personal issues against guys.
Because that does happen. The most ridiculous thing I ever heard,
typical uninformed, uneducated opinion of we have. I'd asked to
grind when the commissioner gave players the right to vote

(04:51):
Chris for the All Star Game, and one hundred and
twenty five wouldn't even vote for Lebron or Kevin Durant.
And you're saying that media has an axe to grind
or we're human beings, Chris and we hold grudges. Stop.
I will put up our record of media people Chris
voting for these major awards any day over players who

(05:16):
usually are uninformed about what other players are doing, who
are usually have a bias against each other because they play.
And I can pull out all the things you want
to say and show you how and why the media
should vote on these awards because we don't have a

(05:37):
dog in the in the race. We don't. When Jackie
Robinson won Rookie of the Year, Chris, he was the
only black player in the league and the BBWAA was
ninety ninety nine percent white. Dad one black rider that
year white he won. That. That is about then example.

(05:59):
I mean, we're there's no doubt and I'm not disparaging anybody,
There's no doubt some of those writers were racist and
probably didn't like it was the first time a black
player played Chris, Right, he won Rookie of the Year. Chris,
I've said it a million times. How many times did
Barry Bonds win the MVP seven and he was terrible?

(06:21):
The writers, Yes, if we wanted to punish him Chris,
could we have? Absolutely, he was the best player in
the league. There was no way we couldn't vote for him.
So when I hear this, this is just jock talk.
This is just athletes in front of an open mic.
Nobody to push back on them, nobody to tell them

(06:43):
that they're not right. No one's to ask him. Give
me your evidence, give me your proof. Where did you
have it? Where did you get this from? Draymond? I'll
give you the other way. And you said it, Chris.
The last time MVP came off a team that didn't
even make the playoffs, players voted for him. Thank you?
What media? Rob you? Everything you said is absolutely right

(07:08):
and and to your point, I don't know, rob G.
Was anybody on that podcast with Draymond or it was
just him, But even if it had been another player
or something, they would have just yeah, yucked up. Draymond
is so wrong, it's ludicrous. Now, first of all, let
me get to this. Rob Gi played play the end

(07:29):
of what he said, Play like the last two sentences
or so of what Draymond said. Disgusting because these are
human beings that could have personal issues against guys, because
that does happen. What are players that the martians? Right?
I mean? What who? Who you want voting? Draymond? A

(07:50):
bunch of machine? Do you want the analytics crew to vote?
Is that what you want because your numbers ain't very good.
I mean, your defensive numbers real, but people give you
props because the eye test they watched how valuable you
are to your team. They watch you run the offense,
watch you defend. Your numbers aren't anything special. So if

(08:16):
machines vote, if it's all analytics, you're not making anything
and the players are huge. I mean, come on, that
don't even make sense if if whoever votes are gonna
be human beings unless you just want to do numbers right.
But you said it, Robbed. They last a few years ago.
They allowed players to start having a say in the

(08:38):
All Star team. Rob. In twenty seventeen, you threw out
the number, but it wasn't quite In nine twenty seventeen,
one hundred and twenty eight players did not vote Lebron
James and then Rob here this is even worse, one

(09:00):
hundred and fifty four left Kevin Durant off their ballot.
I mean what, that's a third of the league didn't
vote for what, at that point was probably the two
best players in the league. Are you kidding me? Rob?
I wonder what the All Star ballot would look like

(09:21):
if players voted if it was all players, I wonder
what it would look like. Rob is right. The media. Look,
the media aren't perfect, There's no question about saying that, right,
but we are the most objective of all. Fans are
gonna clearly have biases. They're gonna vote for some of

(09:44):
their hometown players, the guys they like the most, their
favorite players, players, like Rob said, they're gonna have biases.
Do I vote for some teammates My boy that I
grew up with played here, you ball with college ball
with from my state, he from my city. All bad?
And I know players watch film when they are about

(10:04):
to play it an opponent, but they're not watching every
night they're playing. We're watching. That's our job, your job, Chris,
And it's not their job to watch, right. And I
always bring up the Shock when he's talking to Lenny
Wilkins on an Olympic team or something, Chris, and he says, hey, coach,

(10:27):
you know a lot about basketball. Did you ever play
Lenny Wilkers one of the top fifty players of all time,
he's the coach of one of the Olympic teams. And
Shock doesn't even know he played in the league. Stop, nah,
this is And like you said it, Robbed. Somebody had

(10:47):
to push back, and I get the push back. He
was so loo, but come on, it just makes absolutely
no sense. And again I'll defend the media route. And
he went on to talk more about how there's no
criteria for MVP and that's ridiculous and all that, and
I don't know. I mean, Rob, you could give criteria,

(11:08):
you really could. The league could give you a list
of five or six things to kind of judge by.
But then again, I don't think that'd be horrible. But
I don't think this is horrible either, Rob, because you
have a big enough group of people voting that there's
gonna be probably what five predominant perspectives. Right. Some are

(11:33):
gonna say the best player in the league period. Some
are gonna say maybe the best player on the team
with the best record. Some are gonna go by analytics,
some are gonna go by a group of other you know,
kind of a gumbo of other criteria that they come
up with, which I do. And so I just think though,
this makes it interesting and it makes a great conversation,

(11:57):
and that's what the league likes, right. They like it
when people are talking about it, even if they're disagreeing,
even if they're being critical. They like it when people
talk about their awards, and I think that may be
why they don't give a criteria. Right, there's baseball, dude.
Even whether it's fame, they know and you have to

(12:17):
look at criteria. And I want one of the things, Chris,
just to clarify, because I think people sometimes I hear
all the time, take the right take the vote the
awards away from the writers. You can't do it in
baseball because guess what. The BBWAA started the awards, Chris.
They started them and Baseball adopted them because they liked

(12:39):
that the writers, you know what I mean, were involved.
But those are our awards, yea. Baseball adopted them from
the BBWAA. Look, writers as a great point, and reporters
are an instegral part of the game. They really, I mean,
they're in great stories now. Right. You have different ways
of getting you know, the info now with social media

(13:02):
and you can see highlights, but writers and for the
most part, are the ones bringing you the information about
the players. And look, TV, that's all media too. TV
is the one they're putting it on for you. They're
commentating on it. The shows you watched during the day
they're giving their opinions or breaking the news. It is

(13:24):
an integral part of the game. And right, like you said,
for the most part, media members are unbiased and the
track record just proves it. It's just there's no other
way around it. And like you said, we can go
back to when players used to vote. Players did used
to vote, and Karee without making the playoffs. Bill Walton
made it with playing only fifty eight games one year,

(13:46):
fifty eight out of eighty two. Like I mean, when
the players voted, it was kind of some strange stuff
happening with the award, so I was taking away from them,
Chris right night. And it has been more of a
steady kind of uh, you know, criteria once the perfect
and it's not perfect. It's not perfect. Nothing's perfect where

(14:09):
humans are involved. But to just like like like totally
whitewash the writers and say we don't know what we're doing,
you know what I mean, or we got to ask
to grind I just I find that to be to
say it's disgusting, the voting is disgusting way that word
that word is ways the time, even if you disagree,
And like you said, right, what what writer again, Name

(14:32):
a writer and they probably won here there, but name
a writer that's got a bias, right, really, they got
a bias against Giannis. I mean who, I mean, what
what is it? I mean? Just right? Right? And he
showed himself. He got in. He got widely criticized by
by everybody, and deservedly so, Chris, because he didn't do

(14:57):
what a writer is supposed to do with your watch
the season and first and then make an objective yep,
and be objective, all right? Eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine ninety six sixty three
sixty nine. You're turning the way in Do you agree
with Draymonds? Should players vote on the postseason awards or
should it remain as it is with the media? A

(15:18):

Jess got easier restrictions apply getting the zone all those
zone eight seven seven ninety nine on. It's Draymond Wright.

(16:01):
Should media vote on these awards or should the players vote?
You'll turn away in all right, Chris, let's kick it
off with Sharif and Rino. You're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What up, Sharif? Hey? How you doing? Guys? Man?
How are you? I'm all right? Um. I've always thought

(16:22):
that they should take it away from the media, But
then who do you give it to them? And I
was like, maybe you give it to some of the
older players, like the old I don't even right they're watching.
Even the media follows the sport, it's our job to
follow and know who's playing. Who do you give it

(16:43):
to if you take it away from the media, Because
my only problem with the media is the narrative thing.
I don't think narrative really has anything to do with Okay,
tell me the last tell me, okay, tell keep me moing,
tell me the last MVP and say to any league really,
but that one based on narrative is yr Kid's gonna win?

(17:05):
Based on YO kids is probably gonna win. What's the
narrative numbers? There's no, there's no narrative there. Last year
the narrative was Lebron did he win? No? No, who's
one based on narrative? I mean, you're right, but that's
that's I've heard media people saying that's the basic the
thing that they use and they base it on like

(17:27):
I haven't heard that right. They get people throw that
out there, Oh it's a narrative, and then they give
me again, like Robert has said, we'll push back, give
us some example. Yes, if you could give us one
and say hey this or that. And that's why I
always bring up the Barry Bonds because that's one Chris
that you could do it. I'm a I'm an avid

(17:49):
Bull fan. I think Lebron should have won the year
Derek Rose won it, but he won't based on narrative. No.
If here's why Derek Rose one be because he was
on the team where he was the only star and
they had a better record than Lebron playing with Wade
and Bosh, no doubt. How about that. That's it. That's

(18:09):
why he won O ye, and I voted for I
believe I voted for Rods that year, and that's why
he won. Chris, There's no doubt about it. Lebron had
two stars, right, he did more with less. I mean,
come on, all right, Robert and Georgia. You're on the
odd couple Fox Sports Radio. What up, Robert? What's going on?
How do man? How you've been where you've been? Robert? Now,

(18:31):
I've been listening every night. Man, I just been working, man.
So I just appreciate you and keep grinding. Baby. That's
that's right. We appreciate you. But you know, I gotta
disagree with y'all too. Man. I know y'all writers and
got steak up for the writers. But first I wanted
to say, I don't know if y'all brought him up
or not, because I didn't. I don't know the guy's name,
but the guy I went that said about that Um
and Rogerston, Yeah, and writers criticized him. When he came out.

(18:59):
He was roundly criticized by the media. So I think
I think that I don't think that he was saying
that the writers should't have me personally what I would
think what he was trying saying what I think what
work is. Yes, writer, writers should have a say, but
not one hundred percent. Should be players and coaches as
well too, like they do in the All Star Game.
I wouldn't include fans, but I would say players and

(19:20):
coaches should have a mixed, maybe thirty three percent each way,
so it can kind of be more fair and not
less biased. Well, let me ask you this, what do
you think about a hundred and some odd twenty eight
one hundred and fifty four uh players not voting for
Lebron and Kevin? What do you call that? No? Is

(19:40):
that what you want? No, That's why I said it
shouldn't be one hundred percent anybody if it's but but
if that's gonna be the way indicative of how some
players they shouldn't have a vote. I could. I couldn't
not vote for Lebron an exhibition game. It's a it's
a it's an All Star game. How in the world,
How could anybody turning the ballot without Lebron's name on it? Anybody?

(20:03):
This is seriously. One thing dray Man was saying is
this is serious? Because he was like, look, you know
Rob you know this for contracts. If a guy makes
like all NBA, he can get more money. And this
is important, So you don't want to leave it in
the hands of players that are making the joke of it, right,
and others who are just gonna vote for their favorites.

(20:25):
And here's the other thing, Chris. Sometimes you know it's
attached financially with a payout if you win. And then
they hear that so and so gets three million dollar
bonus if he gets the MVP. Do you see what
I'm saying? You get your friends vote for me, man,
I get you million, and they get alter the vote
that players will be talking talking there's no Dallas in Alabama.

(20:47):
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports raded, what
up Dallas, Thumber what not? But I know y'all what
you guys gonna say, ahead, But I'm just saying, I
just feel like I feel like maybe shifty cent of
the media, thirty players in like ten or whatever else,
like fans whatnot. But I only say that because it'll

(21:11):
make it feel more specially whenever your peers, you know,
voting for you, and I know you guys are gonna
say very well, what about when they did this, you know,
Kevin the Red No, but though I mean if I
was Lebron, If I was Lebron and I saw that
one hundred and twenty eight of the four hundred players

(21:32):
in the league didn't vote for me, I wouldn't have
respect for those people. Ron, Can I? Ron? Can I
say something real quick? Yeah, let's say if they had
a vote for you guys, what y'all do for a living? Right?
We do? I know, I'm just saying, but it was
up to us as fans of people that watch it
y'all shows every day. You do you go with the ratings,

(21:52):
I mean, we but listen, but whatever, your peers had
to vote. But some of them are gone not vote
for you guys, because if they just don't like y'all.
But what what? What what? That's what we were talking
about with the players, right right. So if you want,
you'd have you'd want an objective group to somebody that

(22:13):
has no horse in the race, exactly. That's what That's
where the media comes in. We don't, we don't. We're
not getting a bonus for voting for somebody. We're not
friendly on that level with people voting for our friends.
Who happened to play in the league. That's we're not
part of the team. Even when we were beat writers,
Rob covered the Knicks. I covered the Knicks. We weren't
a part of the Knicks organization. That's where Rob. You

(22:36):
notice even a lot of players and coaches don't fully
understand that. Right, we don't know. Why are you ripping us?
You're right? You know with us every day? Right right,
you're all playing, You're you're having dinner with us and
in the lounge, you know what I mean. No, I
worked for the New York Times, or I work for
the Daily News. I don't work for the Knicks. Exactly,

(22:56):
exactly all right, Tyson's Tower If Trivia is next, but
be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Chris Broussard and Rod Parker weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app. Hey, what's up everybody? It's me three time
pro bowler Levarrington and I couldn't be more excited to

(23:17):
announce a new podcast called Up on Game? What is
up on Game? You asked? Along with my fellow pro
bowler t J. Hushmansatta and Super Bowl champion yep, that's right,
Plexico Birds. You can only name a show with that
type of talent. On it. Up on Game, We're going
to be sharing our real life experiences loaded with teachable moments.

(23:39):
Listen to Up on Game with me LeVar Arrington, t
J Hushman, Zatta and Plexico Birds on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast from. All right,
it's time for Teischert's Tower of Trivia and no no
ladies and gentlemen, vegans and metia, the tale chip lovers,

(24:02):
ruffled chip lovers. It's time. This game is so easy
for tight shirts. Tower up Trivia. That's right, it is
Tisher's Tower a Trivia. The segment that proves you't even
gotta like sports to work in sports media. The star
of this segment and just the heads up, guys, he's
gonna get another segment this summer that's gonna be even better.
None of them on what show, on this show? What

(24:26):
a designs Alex is really ambitious. I am absially snadom
ambitious another rob. Yes, of course, before you know it,
they'll be doing the lead segment. I know it's gonna be.
This is a cool happening before it really is. Well,
there's a reason why the numbers keep going up, saying saying,

(24:48):
all right, you guys know all this segment. Where's that
is the voice of the star of this segment none
other than DJ Alex Ti Shirt. You guys got one
word clues to how Alex he does not watch Chris
get to the top of Ti Shirt's tower trivia, I
obey the rule, flip the coin. During the update, Chris
Brussar gets question number one. All of these questions are
related to teams that are playing in tonight's NBA Playoff action. Okay,

(25:11):
so here we go question number one. The Dallas Mavericks
won their franchise is only NBA championship back in twenty
eleven when they upset Lebron and the Miami Blank hot heat.
It's a terrible clue. That terrible I was gonna say cold,
but that inside hot it is cold. The Miami Coles,

(25:34):
I would have said, Michael Waver, he's not bad. I
know about that. With micro Waver, I don't think, probably not.
But still that was better than cold. See right, colon,
you I got I got the answer right and you didn't.
All here we go question number two to Rob Parker.
Timberlow's big man, Karl Anthony Towns arguably the best shooting

(25:59):
big man in NBA history to be who you asked,
But most people they don't call him Karl Anthony town
They called him by nickname. That nickname is Blank. I
had a word that I wanted to but I want
to keep my job. Please, I'm not doing that, don't
you dare No, you would have done that years ago.

(26:20):
I would in Detroit the man I would have absolutely done.
Who would have thought that? Show? Still not going on
right anyway? Dog? I don't think it's right, but it
popped in my head. Um, you're killing me cat? Yes?
Is it? Yes? Okay, you're killing me? You kill like

(26:43):
an extra? No? No, no, seriously, I mean because he
had changed it one. Well, you didn't change where else? No.
I actually thought kat when he said dog. But I
was like, that doesn't sound right, but definitely cheating Rocky.
You how to get this? Do I have self control? Now?

(27:05):
I had a better clue. God, Sorry, we got to
go quickly, all right. D'Angelo Russell plays for the Timberwolves
two drafted second overall by the Lakers back in the day,
but he was traded after he went public on social
media that his teammate was cheating on pop star is Eliot.
That teammate was none other than Blank Young all right.
His last name's Young. Okay, last name young? You go

(27:27):
for the first year saint nick nic that's the clue.
Park like that, Yeah, get four speaking a nickname Steph
Curry plays later tonight. He had a pretty decent nickname himself.
In fact, it even got name dropped in a Drake song,

(27:48):
Rob Parker, that nickname is no Big Curry Blank Curry.
That is a blank Curry's what we're looking for. Rob
knows I'm talking about no big Shot Curry right now.
This is this is the name. Keep going, get to
set the context, make sure that this is his name.

(28:10):
Word no, I'm ready. You know the rules. We've been
doing this for two years. It's one word. I want
to make sure word. Yeah, one word. So what was it, Rob?
You said something blank Blank Curry Okay, Okay, boy r
D Chef that is good. I like that. That's three

(28:31):
words by r D. That's going wrong. That's what I
wanted to make sure. Chef Boyard down under the last name.
Perfect laws. You looked it up. That's his last name.
His last team is Level number five. By the way,

(28:52):
Memphis and Timberwolves tied up h eight Right now, are
you serious? They were down like big and they were
just down like fifty. Chris the breakout star this season,
at least in the postseason for the Warriors, played his
college ball at Michigan. Oh gosh, probably knows Chris's daughter.

(29:12):
That young man's name is Jordan Blank. Uh okay, what's
with all these names? Rob g They got cool names?
Give me like, how much do you get when you
shoot behind the three line? Here we go, Here we
go beyond that line. You don't have to say that
he knows we're playing the game. They don't have to say.
All right, splash, terrible clue a splash? What was give

(29:36):
me the last part? Rob you again, Jordan Blank, breakout
star of the Warriors. Splash splash? What do you what
are you trying to say? Rob Ge? Remember Alex Water right,
come on, let's go. What is the splash out? Give

(29:58):
me the same A buzzer? At what happened? Splash? Come on? Okay,
hold on it, no park, all right, here we go? Said,
where do I make a splash. Here we go, Alex
you ready park, Yes, swimming pool. That it's good. That

(30:22):
was so easy. How you blow that as good? He
would have got back to Rob. If you get this one,
it is over. Let's go Rob get Robs were coming back,
were coming back level number six Rob. Before the franchise
moved to Utah, the Jazz actually got its start in

(30:44):
the city of Blank. Oh my god, come on you ready,
I'll do my ready, I'll do my best. Rob. Louisiana
read the question, Rob, gee, please read it again. The
Jazz didn't start in Utah. They got their start in
the city of Blank. Okay, I'm sorry, Rob, I'm very
bad with geography and city is it Ohio? Incorrect? Sorry,

(31:09):
that's the state I prefer insulting tone of that trial.
It was so he's not great geography, Rob, Is that
a crime? I didn't? Okay? All right, here we gotta
go quickly. All right, all right, back to Chris guide

(31:31):
me give me something that all it'll just click in
my brain. All right, here we go, Come on see gumbo.
Uh New Orleans? Yeah, that is correct? Is it? What's
the score is? We gotta go really fast? Lightning round
over to Chris Brussard, first one to get it wins,
Nicola Yo gets rating, NBA MVP got a cool nickname himself.

(31:54):
Folks just call him the blank joke. Oh wow, No,
that doesn't think for it, say it is it joker,
that doesn't rest say that medicine right, Yeah, you didn't
get the bott goes baby, Rob. Oh, it feels so good.

(32:19):
It feels so I lost on the city of Ohio.
He said, it feels so good. The wins one city
in Louisiana, which somebody says, Louisiana, let the botto goes.
Who gotta say, take the listeners out to break the

(32:40):
bombo gooes Rob, the bottom goes I couple, keep it locked.

Rob an absolute barn burner in Minnesota and Memphis has

(33:52):
taken the lead and taken control. They're up ninety three
eighty eight now, still four minutes left. So but you know,
time an incredible, incredible and you gotta give those young
boys credit. And maybe the youth of tens of Minnesota
has something to do with them giving it up thirty
five to one, what is it? Thirty five to one,

(34:14):
was thirty five to one, thirty one, thirty one to five,
thirty one to five and the error was just through
a horrible shot. Wow, thirty thirty one to five run. Yeah,
that's unbelievable, unbelievable, all right? But uh and Rob in Dallas,

(34:34):
the Mavericks are up on the jazz by. Yeah, I'll
tell you what. Obviously they're not better without Luca, but
part of me is starting to wonder in this matchup
like they're so quick and and the Jazz aren't. That's
their problem. They're not very athletic, and they can't stay

(34:56):
in front of the Dallas penetrate. And they're playing Dallas
is playing faster and the half court than they do
with Luca, And I'm just wondering if that's playing to
their favor in this series. Obviously they need Luca, but
you know, they playing a different style of game because
he's not that player, right, Yeah, He's gonna play slower,

(35:18):
more deliberate, set everything up and now they're just kind
of going with with different ball handlers. So it's interesting.
But we'll see um. But you you you think you
thought this was a bad regular season and uh so
far you're not impressed with the playoffs either, huh not
just from the standpoint of the injuries, Like there've been

(35:40):
some good games, Chris, But man, I want to I
want to see Milwaukee hole. I want to see the
Sun's hole. Do you know, Like I just too many players,
Like I've never seen anything like it. I don't want
to overstate my case, but I've been coming to the
NBA for a long time. In nineteen eighty seven eight,

(36:00):
you know, and there and I just don't remember dipping
injuries along the way, Chris, but not this many. We
just had a regular season would filled with injuries. And
we can't get Devin Book and some of these guys
to just play two months, you know, and have a run.
And I'm not I'm not blaming him, but I'm in general,

(36:21):
you know what I mean, just every time somebody comes down,
you're like, are they gonna be out for two months?
You know, Like it's not like, well, they just trying
to turn his ankle, He'll be fine. No, It's always
like an injury. Yeah, I look, Rob. The more we
talk to people about this, doctors we've had on the show,

(36:42):
Old and Polonies just say that I do believe that
the players are not building up the tolerance for their
bodies to take what, you know, what they put it through.
I really do. I think that's the only explanation, Rob,
because everything else is better. We've talked about it, the training,
the diet, the weight lifting, the travel equipment, everything, and

(37:07):
yet they can't their bodies can't take much because I
don't think they've built up the tolerance. I really don't.
And because they're not the one they're not like practicing
as hard as they used to, and they don't play
as much, and then you get in the high level
intensity games like this in the playoffs and your body
breaks down because it's not used to it. So that's

(37:30):
my little two cents on the matter, all right. I
