let's get some smooth sounds. While we asked the two
smooth dudes, how y'all doing this weekend? Man? How's how's
y'all Saturday going? Man, Saturday is just getting going for me.
But I'm sure it's gonna be a great day, just
getting started. Baby, feel good. Oh man, it's a beautiful day. Man.
Football's back on Saturday and Sunday my spots have a
(03:16):
big one in the night, which we're all looking forward
to have a big one. And uh hey man, it's Saturday. Man,
what can you say? Yeah, I mean Saturdays are always
better with football and truly truly excited about what's going
on on the college landscape, but there is some interesting
things developing on the pro landscape as well, and I
(03:39):
want to start off we'll we'll talk about some other
things and in a little bit, Sean Peyton ripping Aaron
Rodgers who I can't wait here, which I gotta say
about that, And we've been talking about the forty Niners
and what their situation could be and what the reason
was for them to resign. Uh, Jimmy Garoppolo may seem
like they knew what everybody else us was thinking. Possibly,
(04:01):
but we'll talk about that. But right now, we saw
that game on Amazon Prime and if you missed it, uh,
you missed a good one between the Chargers and the
Kansas City Chiefs. Uh fellas. Coming out of that game,
Herbert Herbert showed that to me. Uh he is he
(04:22):
is a quarterback of the future. Um. I saw on
your podcast with you and O Scandrick t J. You
guys asked, uh lights uh Shawn Maryman, what quarterback would
he choose between Mahomes and Herbert. Uh. Herbert showed out,
showed his showed his wares, but it wasn't enough. And
Kansas City one again. I mean, that's that's a bottle
(04:45):
of There's there's a few more out there. Obviously. You
know you got uh the QB and in Buffalo, you
got the QB in Green Bay. Um, I guess we
should say the QB down in Tampa. Uh. There are
a few few elite eyes. But these two went head
to head and Mahomes came out on top? Is this
(05:05):
the team to beat again this year? I felt like
things slowed up for them last year. Offensively, I thought
that Patrick Mahomes wasn't as uh protective over the ball.
It didn't prioritize the safety of the ball as much
last year, turned it over a little more, didn't score
as much, but they came on. So is this the team?
(05:27):
Is Pat Mahomes the guy? Is this team to beat
yet again? I must say no? And what what? Watching
that and watching that game, you gotta understand the Chiefs
were at full strength. Keenan Allen is not playing for
the Charges. He's not playing. Their starting center goes out.
It started a second half right Talcle I believe also
(05:50):
went out. The Chargers moved the ball, it seemed at
will in the first half and in the second half.
The Chiefs played really good defensively. But I was watching
that game saying, man, the Chiefs are good, but boy
do they miss Tyreek Hill. The way the Chargers played them,
they wouldn't have played that way if Tyreek Hill is
(06:12):
on the field. And so yeah, Mahomes won the game,
but he threw I believe it was like two thirty
some yards. The way they were playing, they're gonna get
They're gonna get that often they don't have that. At least,
it doesn't seem that they can just strike and hit
you with one big play like they could last in
(06:33):
previous years. And so it's gonna be a grind amount
type of game. I thought Edwards Hilarry was fantastic. They
came out early on run, run, run, run. He's getting
four or five yards a pop. And so it's to me,
it's gonna be tough sledding for the Chiefs to play
like this all year. In every quarterback, you're gonna throw
some balls that should be intercepted and they're not. In
(06:55):
vice versa dude from Washington State for the Chiefs. He
made a hell of but play drilled ever was tired.
I'm not going to know if I see a guy
trying to tap out and come to the game, I'm
not going on huddle. You're trying to come out of
the game, and we're gonna go no huddle. We're gonna
huddle up. Take your a couple of deep breaths, and
let's get ready and go run this play. And so
I still believe the Chargers will win that division, even
(07:20):
though the Chiefs won the game, I believe the Charges
will end up being the first place in that division.
You know what, man, I have to agree. I was
kind of I was saying the same thing, and we've
talked about it all off season, how much Patrick Mahomes
will miss Tyrick Hill and you can see it. I mean,
he's only average when it's the last time we've seen
Patrick Mahomes average eight yards per past that hasn't happened
(07:45):
public since he was in college, because because the damn
Shaw hasn't happened when he's been playing for the Chiefs,
and you can just see like the whole makeup of
the offense they were really they were really just trying
to put Travis Kelsey in in situations so he could
get other guys open. I think what defenses are going
to start to do moving forward is that when when
(08:05):
when you look at the production of of UH of
Juju Smith, Schuster and Marquez uh Scantling, teams are going
to I think start to make those guys beat them
and double Travis Kelsey because ever, everybody knows that Travis
Kelsey is one of the best UH Titans in football.
So what so, what I would do defensively double Travis Kelsey.
(08:27):
Now you have Hartman hurt, he's out, Justin Watson is
out with a shoulder injury. Force those other guys to
go out and produce and to beat you, because, like
I've been saying before, Ju Smith Shuster is not one
of those what obvious he was. We're just gonna put
on the edge and he's gonna be able to get open.
And just I think, just moving forward, I don't think
that the the Chargers could have played any better defensively
(08:53):
the way that Patrick Mahomes page. Just like, what was
this guy, nick Gerald Watson. This guy runs up run.
It is like an outside hook and I believe that
he was supposed to hook inside and the in the
rookie corner Jaylen Watson jumps in front of him and
in returns the ball for ninety nine yards. And I
think that Justin Herbert is one of the chop three
(09:14):
quarterbacks in all of football. I'm just gonna go out
of the the limen and say that. Now, defensively, I think
they have one of the best defense in football. But
I really can't hang my hat on the Kanna City
Chief right now and just say they are the favorite
to win the AFC, probably not in the a f
C West. I'm gonna just go back with what I said. Uh,
I like the charges and the bills in the a
(09:35):
f C Championship game, and uh, the charge is going
to the Super Bowl. Wow. You know they don't have
Justin Herbert right now. It seemingly, I mean, but but
I think because they have the defense to hold whole
fort until he gets back. Hey, levard that that cartilage
in the rib, that's probably why my back be killing
(09:57):
me now I used to do. I literally what does
what Justin Herbert is going through right now? That happened
to me at least fifteen times in my career, at
least fifteen times. And so he woke up. You can't cough,
you can't laugh, you can't even breathe real good. But
it looked like it was so it looked like it
was so painful. The one time he got out of
(10:18):
the pocket and then he dropped back and throw a
yard touchdown. That's crazy. This is this is the thing. Though.
He'll because they played Thursday, he'll be able to play
to the next game. If he's gonna do what I did,
They're gonna sit you on that table. The need of
gonna be about ten eleven inches. Here we go. You're
(10:38):
gonna take that shot, and that's gonna numb it. And
you guys do know you guys do know that. That's
how Justin Herbert got his opportunity to play in the
first places. What Tyrod Taylor, They better be careful, they
better be careful. Touch Herbert trip, my friend that that
(11:05):
it's painful. But when you get it shot up like,
you're good at least for the first half, at least
for the first half, and maybe you get another one
during the second half. But he'll be able to play
through that because he has ten days. The problem is,
at least it was for me. I remember we had
to play the Steelers in the week before that happened.
(11:27):
First player, first play the game. We had to hit
Rock Carson through it. How I'm like, oh my god,
I gotta jump for this ball man. I Taylor must
have laid into me something so hard. I just got
couldn't even say nothing. It hurts so bad. But you
just get up in your have been up and I
had taken a shot and if you still feel it,
but it's it's just a different type of hurt. And
(11:49):
so he'll be able to fight through this. But yeah,
plex we were on the same page of what you think,
who are you rolling with? Well, before we get to
the break, I'm gonna say this, I'm still rolling with
the Ravens. I picked them last year. I'm gonna pick
them this year because I just have you know, I
just got this gut feeling about them being healthy and
(12:09):
having the opportunity to play as as a full healthy
at least if they stay fully healthy. Um. I like
the Ravens. I think that they have it on both
sid I mean it happened healthy enough like no season
like best I take that back and help with us.
(12:30):
Opening day roster starters was Super Bowl game starters. So
it has happened. Well, there you go. I don't know
that they're all starting and they're all all the way healthy,
but relatively close. But I do think the fact that
that Casey was able to win that game and it's
so early in the season, I think that that's I
(12:53):
don't think there is dangerous without to re kill. I mean,
that's that's a the like a captain obvious statement. But
I do think that that they have the weapons to
still be as dangerous they showed that they can win
in a big game. And and honestly, I just you
know this early been their their head, their head of
(13:15):
the Chargers, their hand of the team, y'all sayings gonna
play in this You gotta get my manas from credit, man,
because I didn't expect for the Chiefs to come out
and play that well defensively without it. No, not exactly.
You better give Chris Jones that c Chris Jones that
critical that's fair man. Chris Jones was like, you know what,
(13:39):
all right, get on my back in this second half.
I got you. And that's what he though. Now that
Rickie was giving him a hard time, they moved him
over to the other side and it was like, okay,
now go eat. That's when he started getting off when
they moved him to the left side of the offense. Well,
we're gonna take a quick break. And on the other
side of this break, uh, you might be a little
(14:02):
hurt by this. This Latest on Your Head segment h
t J by James Jackson, Straight Fast Podcast. Already know
where he's going. Man. You know you have one game.
It's just one game. I have to deal with it.
You're gonna you're gonna have to deal with it. You're
listening up on Game. Like I said, we're gonna take

James Jackson of Straight Facts Podcast, I'm on your head.
Here we go. It's like I'm on your head with
James Jackson. Now, we know some of the brightest stars
in the NFL today are young, right, So that means
(15:27):
someone are liable to come out the gates stumbling in
Week one. But I'm sorry when your comeback Player of
the Year last year and lead your team all the
way to the Super Bowl. My expectations for you coming
into this season are just a little bit higher. So
Joe Burrow, hey, man, after last week, I'm on your head.
I know they call you Joe Burrow or you know,
(15:49):
Joe Cool, but I'm gonna need you to start heating
up a little bit because my bands keep out the
gates in Week one with five turnovers total four in
the first half and had Cincinnati looking like the Bad
News Angles for a second there. I mean for a
little bit, it was looking real shitke keep baby. I
know my man's must have been partying in l a
last year after the Big Game, because that was a
(16:11):
Super Bowl hangover if I've ever seen one, and he
didn't even win. Imagine if he won that game. I
think what really hurts for Bengals fans is he let
Mitchell Trabinsky. I'll say it one more time, he let
Mitchel Trabinsky beat him in a head to head quarterback matchup.
He may have to crawl into a burrow and hide
after that one. I don't know if we can face
(16:32):
Bengals fans right now because now that AFC North Division
is gonna prove to be a little bit tougher than
they initially thought. I mean the Ravens, Browns, and then
of course the Steelers all one in Week one, and
the Bengals start the season with an uphill climb. So
Joe Burrow is gonna have to turn it around quick.
So let's see if the third year starting quarterback can
look a little bit more like Joe Schicey, because right
(16:54):
now he kind of just looks like your average Joe.
I'm on your head. Who I'm gonna I'm gonna go first,
go ahead? God? So people, they I guess it's they
just they forget what what happened to Joe Burrow in
training camp? Does anybody recall? Tell us they don't. They
(17:18):
had a surgery, he had his He hadn't happened back
to me. So you missed two weeks at camp, you
don't play in the preseason, and you make excuses. Very'll no,
I'm not making that's that's not an excuse, Okay. I'm
just saying situations that occurred. Now when you turn the
(17:41):
ball over five times and you should still your one
p t away from winning the game, it's one of six,
one of seventeen. It's one of seventeen. I guaranty when
we played him again, we're gonna put our foot on
a throat guarantee, guarantee turn the ball over five times.
(18:04):
And the game came down to and the Steelers didn't
have any turnovers. They played as clean as you could play.
And so did Joe play bad. Yes, he'd be the
first to tell you to say Mitchell Trobinsky outdoor them.
Wrong again, Mitchell Troubinsky did enough and the defense held on.
But you don't turn the ball over five times and
(18:27):
even have a remote chance of winning the game. Like
I said, if the long snapper doesn't get hurt, they're
a pH t away from winning that game. Kudos to
the Steelers for hanging on and winning the game and
overtime when you're plus five and turnover differential. First of all,
when we get the speaking of our quarterbacks, I'm always
(18:47):
surprised how people say Mitchell Robinski outdude Joe Burrow. They're
not even the same class when they're talking about being
a quarterback, being elite of a franchise and in this league.
So that doesn't even matter. But with the Cincinnati Bankers,
I'm not worried about them at all. Hey, they look
a tough game to Pittsburgh. That's always gonna be a
(19:08):
tough divisional game, or it doesn't matter what they're playing
in Pittsburgh or Cincinnati. But for Joe burrow Man, I
think he's he's one of the top three quarterbacks and
allar football, So I'm not worried about him. I'm not
worried about that defense. I'm not aware about those wide
receivers getting over and making plays. It was one game,
but I think that that by the end of the season.
(19:30):
I do expect the Cincinnati Bangers to win that division
because they're clearly man flacks. We were on the same
page today, Manby, like, what's we didn't even talk about this?
What's happening here? Yeah? What? What? What the hell? What?
What the hell is happening there here? Wait? First off,
there's two teams that that you could have chosen, Plexico
(19:51):
Burst and was starting with Pittsburgh. But you know, I
get t j I listened. I'm not supposed to be
in my feelings and be emotional, just be at home. Yeah,
But I do think that the Cincinnati Benns have a
better football team than the Stealers. That's just they do.
And the Browns do too, and the Ravens do too,
(20:12):
so it'll be what I wouldn't go. But I do
believe that is Cincinnati, Baltimore, Pittsburgh in you know, obviously
to you know, the Browns will probably finished and last
again in this division. I don't disagree with them finishing last.
But like I said, I have the Ravens finishing first
in the a f C North, and and that's you know,
(20:34):
I got them going to the super Bowl as well.
So I'm interested to see how they play in Week two. Um,
I don't want to go into the Ravens. I want
to keep it Joe Burrow. I will say this. It
is week one and and and just like I mean,
we're gonna have multiple conversations about quarterbacks and week one,
(20:55):
all right, we just talked about Pat Mahomes. We just
talked about Justin Herbert Um. We talked about uh Josh
Allen and how he played. I mean, we didn't have
we didn't have a hangover of playing well in Buffalo.
But I get it. You know, Joe Burrow did go
through a lot of of things, uh, you know in
training Cab, I guess you you can't uh you know
(21:17):
under under state, you know, miss time. That's that's for sure. Uh,
but it's interesting because we're gonna get this update from Ilo.
But after that, um, we're gonna talk about We got
some sound on on Sean Payton talking about Aaron Rodgers. Um,
a quarterback that is one of the top quarterbacks. But
he's off to an overt start, lost to a divisional
(21:39):
opponent as well, just like Joe Burrow. So I'm interested
to hear what you guys have to say about Aaron
Rodgers as well, because, you know what, Sean Payton has
some interesting things to say. But let's get some legendary that.
This is a legendary moment every single time IL gives
us an update. What you got, I love that's pretty accurate.
This number six, oh Glahoma and Nebraska tied at seven
(22:03):
midway through the first quarter. Nebraska struck first at a
thirty two yard touchdown pass from Casey Thompson to Trey Palmer,
and it was that sort of feeling among the fans
in Oklahoma. But then the suitors would answer as Dylan
played the hits. Here is Toby Rowland on k r
E step back to pass, looking left, steps it up.
They'll running himself to the forty forty five first down midfield,
(22:25):
Nebraska territory, Tilling Gabriel down the sidelines, fifteen still in pounds,
piece to the five and he'll score. Till In Gabriel
all the way down the sidelines. They couldn't get him
out and he took it to painters. Number one Georgia
seven nothing lead at South Carolina eight minutes in. Georgia
(22:45):
just intercepted a pass and returned it into South Carolina territory. Elsewhere,
fourth ranked Michigan hosting Yukon in and Arbor at the
Big House. Here is Doug carsh On W T K
A hand off to play car budding left hesitates at
the tent outside to the ets. Is he in his touchdown?
(23:05):
Play for him twenty yards and Michigan leads six nothing.
They made the extra point. They're up seven to nothing.
Eight minutes in night rank Kentucky and Youngstown State our scoreless.
Twelve minutes in rank Baylor seven nothing lead over Texas
State with just over five minutes left to play in
the first quarter. Fellas back to you. Thanks hello, We
(23:26):
appreciate that update. Some some exciting stuff going on college
football always amazing, guys. We got some sound to Sean Payton,
This is from the NFL Roads Show. I want to
hear what you guys feel about this. On the other side.
After the game, we go to the interview in the
locker room. In the very first question posed to Aaron
(23:49):
was about bouncing back and he'd referenced the first play
of the game that dropped past to the rookie. And
I thought, come on, and I like Aaron rod Jews,
but I didn't like what I saw, all right? Was
that it? You didn't like what you saw? That that
was into the sound. That was kind of like a
(24:10):
car wreck of an end of a quote. But uh,
Aaron Rodgers had some very, very very straight to the
to the point comments about his young receivers. Uh, you know,
Watson could have could have you know, he could have
(24:31):
escored right out the gate. You know, it was his
first first NFL game. You know, guys could have done better,
but they did it. Um. Are you guys okay with
how Aaron Rodgers addressed it in a loss or did
it bother you like it bothers Sean Payton. Listen, man,
when you lose the best receiver in football, you're gonna
(24:54):
play different. And oh it's Aaron Rodgers. I don't care
who you are, You're ain't to play different. And this
is the thing. You know, you can't win without a
quarterback when you ain't win and went out a receiver
that can get open on the consistent basis either and
this stuff goes hand in hand. Yeah it should have.
Christian Watson have caught that ball and scored a touchdown
first play. Absolutely, you think he wanted to drop it. No,
(25:16):
he did. It happens, But this is this is sports.
How you're responding that as a big deal. Aaron Rodgers,
I don't know if he did. He should have gone
to him and said, hey, it's not a big deal.
Us over with, I'm gonna still come to You're gonna
get plenty of opportunities because nobody feels worse than the
player to drop the ball. You can't go back and
(25:37):
change it. But the Packers, man, they look like they
may be in trouble. Man, they look like they look
like they may be in trouble. Now, let's we were
talking about Aaron Rodgers, but let's talk about football here.
You got JR. Alexander, one of the best corners in football.
Once Justin Jefferson gets a hundred yards in the first quarter.
(25:57):
You got him. Everybody play defense, but you got him.
You you're covering Justin Jefferson the entire game. You don't
pay him that amount of money to let Justin Jefferson
hit you up for a hundred eighty four yards and
he's not shadowing him. That That that's first. That's number one.
That's coaching with stake number one. Put Jaire Alexander on
(26:18):
Justin Jefferson the entire game, and let's see what happens.
Let's see if it's a different game. Back d Aaron Rodgers.
Those receivers gotta get open. I don't care who the
quarterback is unless you're gonna run a short, controlled passing
and crossing route, whip routes, option routes. Your receiver's gotta
get open. And if they can't get open, it does
(26:40):
not matter who the quarterback is. And I think people
are starting to see that now. This stuff goes hand
in hand. It's the ultimate team game. When the quarterback
doesn't play well, first and own man, he doesn't have
any weapons. As soon as he gets those weapons, you
forget that he didn't have weapons a couple of years ago.
You talk about how great the quarterback is. That's on.
Football is the greatest game in the world because we
(27:01):
all need to be on the same page helping each
other out. And I'm kind of on the fense about
this whole end Roder situation. Uh, you know, being a
young receiver man coming into this league and you know, uh,
you know, just being able to play the position, and
then you get to play with a guy like Aaron
Rodders who was going to go down as one of
the you know, greatest quarterbacks of all time. I mean
(27:24):
playing the position is already difficult enough in itself, and
you think those guys do not want to go out
and play well. And he throws a deep ball, the
young guy drops it and he almost he looks to
the sideline like, well, I told you and kind of
kind of showing this guys up a little bit, man,
And how does that make you feel as a player?
Though he wouldn't do that to a veteran guy, because, uh,
(27:47):
somebody like me, Oh, I'm coming to the sideline of
the dressing like, yo, man, what's your problem. I'll dropped
the ball. Let's move on to the next one. But
don't try to make them seem like you're such of
a great player to where you don't make mistakes, which
he will going forward through intercepts or whatever the case
may be. But you can't do that, especially to a
(28:08):
room of unproven young wide receivers where the pressure is
already on them enough to go out and feel the void,
which won't happen from an individual standpoint. They may put
up the numbers collectively as a group as a devantee Adams,
but for one of those guys that step in and
produce what he has done. He put up legendary numbers
(28:29):
for seven or eight years straight. So he's no longer there.
And like you said, he said, it's gonna force Aaron
Rodgers to play different. He's gonna have to spread the
ball around and see which one of those guys can
consistently get open. I believe they will moving forward. But
for him to do that, especially a guy his status
(28:49):
and a guy of his caliber as a player like
you should he knows better than that. But he puts
it out there in front of the world, in front
of the coaches, like you know what I told you so,
But he put the front office on on on blast
last year. But how how damaging? Is that? Guys? How like?
(29:09):
How damaging is what he did? I mean, as you
think they talked through it in the in the locker
room by now is it? Is it not a thing?
Or is this a man? Somebody like Aaron Rodgers walked
into breakfast the next morning, walk right bum like he
did nothing wrong. M hmm. So how you think the
players react to that? Hey, do you think one of
those young players will walk up to Aaron Rodgers and
(29:30):
say anything about them? Absolutely not. Of course they won't.
So he ain't gonna say nothing. No, they're not. They're
not gonna say a word. Because when you get drafted
to Green Bay, you're just like, man, I can't wait
to meet Aaron Rodgers. And the problem is you weren't
there for O T A s. When you're not there
for O T s and you lose your best receiving.
(29:50):
You've got all these new guys that you're gonna be
relying on accounting. You probably should be there to develop
some chemistry so you can kind of go over some stuff, Uh,
explain to them how you like routes to be run,
and so they can possibly appease you when you don't
do that and then you gotta rely on training camp.
You're not playing in preseason games, so you're not getting
(30:12):
the live game reps with him. It's a different ballgame.
It's gonna take some time. If you recall, Davante Adams
didn't really take off until its fourth year, So his
first three years in the league, he was playing, but
he wasn't a Davante Adams that we know now. It
took him time. It's gonna take these guys time. But
Aaron Rodgers don't have time. It's so that's one of
(30:35):
those things. He caught between the rock and hard place.
What what y'all think their their record will be this year?
Think Minnesota Vikers win this division? Hey look you Ryan, Ryan,
you're there right, Ryan? Who who picked? Who picked the game?
Who picked the Vikers and win that game? Oh? Yeah
(30:56):
I did? Last week I did. I picked the Vikers win.
I thought the Vikings are we gonna know what? I
would give him? Why? And it's because, like I just
feel like, when you lose weapons, your team is going
(31:18):
to perform differently. You have to figure out what works
and what doesn't work. And oh, we got this plan
and training camp. When you play these games, that plan
might not always work, and you gotta justin. I felt
like the Vices will win that game. I believe the
Packers are gonna struggle unless Romeo dibe Sammy Watkins. If
(31:39):
he Sammy Watkins can play, If they feature Sammy and
he can stay healthy, he can be their lead receiver.
It's will they do it and can't you stay healthy?
M hmm. That's a big if there. I mean, that's
a big if. But you know, we'll see what happens
on that. I'm not confident about it, but you know
I had them being in the two uper Bowl, so
(32:01):
I'm gonna stay strong on it even Wow. Yeah, I
had the Ravens and the Green Bay Packers and the
Super Bowl. Man, Well, yo, pick is terrible. You should
have got with it or I would have helped you out.
I mean, the Packers got a good room with guys, man,
but they just had to work together to have done.
Because you're talking about losing weapons as one was not
(32:21):
just ultimate weapon. My feelings are tremendously hurt right now.
But you know, because you pa, did I did? I did?
I have picked them? Um? Well, you know, I don't
know who's picking the forty niners but I do know this.
(32:42):

you know why I was talking about, get your back
up off the wall with that mystical. That's why Sam
played it. Hey, uh, what what's the latest? What's the
latest coming on out of uh? What is it, Santa Clara?
What's coming out of the forty Niners camp? I know
Jason locking for in Washington had something to say. What
(34:54):
what exactly is it that he was talking about? That's right, Yeah,
Jason in his most recent article with The Washington Post, MA,
people who know and have worked with Niners coach Kyle
Shanahan believe he will make a quarterback change if the
team starts oh and two. Mm hmm, what you think.
I don't like it at all. I really know. I
(35:15):
don't know Kyle Shanahan. Um all, I can you know.
I hear think certain things about, you know, his style
of coaching and how he is with his players, um
that have played for him. But why would you just
put that energy out there in the in the air
for Trade Lands and just to you know, have him
(35:37):
think that he's on a short least just because they
started season at owing two. I don't think it's It's
not a good look for him from a confident standpoint. Uh,
they didn't win Week one. But to sit here and
think and imagine that he would replace Trade Lands for
losing his first two games of the season, it's just
(36:00):
it's kind of it's mom boggled. Maybe that he doesn't
have that much confidence in his own player that that
he drafted to go out and perform even if he
does start out on and two. So I don't even
know why he would put that out there and to
think that he would it doesn't say a lot up
to me about khan Man. You start I really want
(36:22):
him to start on too now because I want to
call his bluff. I want to say, if he really
gonna do it like you got you you draft a
young quarterback, there's gonna be some bumps and bruises along
last And they played in a monsoon, bro Like, you
can't even get a real feel for what is what
when you're playing that type. Well, yeah, both quarterbacks played
and it was a tight game. It could have gone
(36:43):
either way. It didn't go their way. But this is
why you don't keep Jimmy G on a roster. This
is why if you knew that Mike Shanahan was gonna
be this short fuse with a young quarterback, don't draft him,
don't after them, don't give up with you know what.
(37:04):
On the flip side of you, you know what, it
says to me that he kept Jimmy G just for
for this reason. See, this is the type of stuff
to see. This is the type of stuff that if
trade Lance turns out to be a really good playering
ball out, I'm giving y'all no brakes. Every contract I
want the maximum because you remember what y'all did my
(37:24):
first year starting, remember my second year in the unit,
like you get no brakes like this could really oh no,
we did. That report was false. That report is coming
from somewhere. I don't believe he's gonna do it if
they lose and going too, but you never know. But
I want to see what happens because I want I
want some something to talk about next week. Now, well
(37:48):
he came to hustle, Hustle baby had not trade lance
and how he recovered from um that that losing. But anyways,
that that that's here nor there. This is up on game.
We are here and there is our number two coming
up very soon. We'll be right back. Fox Sports Radio
