Right now to talk some college ball before we get
to all these lines. Jared, I hear through my trusted
sources that you are a fan of cold pizza for
breakfast from time to time. That correct. Absolutely. I mean
it beats pop tarts right, especially when they forget to

(01:27):
put the frosting on it. Then you're basically just eating
like a like a FIG Newton Um. I think. I think,
I think cold pizza is a top five breakfast for
me because, first of all it's delicious because it's pizza,
even though it's cold. I think it's delicious cold because
it's cheese and it's bread and I take the sauce
out and I added on later. I kind of manage

(01:48):
my sauce levels throughout the course of the meal. Um.
But I think in general it's also just I mean,
how can you not like pizza cold? It's so good. Yeah,
any particular type, Pepperoni, sausage, what do you get? I'm
more of a meat guy. Veggies on pizza have no place.
If I want vegetables, I'll eat a salad. I don't
think vegetables on pizza is reel. I mean I'll eat

(02:10):
like if it's like pizzas there and I have to
choose the one that's like sausage and mushrooms, like, I
won't not eat it just because it has vegetables on it.
I'm not petty. Like that, but if I'm ordering and
I'm in control of the pizza, it will not have
vegetables on it. Well, I'M gonna throw a couple of
games that you you've got your eye on all of
these and uh, kind of picking up where you left

(02:30):
off with the pizza. It's not for everybody, you know,
like vegetables on Pizza, but this Florida Tennessee matchup. So
Tennessee right now at BET MGM, they're favored by ten
and a half. That might not be for everybody. That
might be like, Oh, green peppers on pizza. No, thank you.
I look at that line first blush shared and I'm like, Whoa,
ten and a half. That's pretty high. And every now

(02:52):
and then I'll have two reactions. To be like, Oh,
I'm taking the dog, that's too many points. My reaction
was that's really high and I might take Tennessee because
of that. What's your sense of this game? Yeah, they
say with total sometimes if it's high, it's high for
a reason, you know, like the and and again. Like
that's not a very analytical way to look at the
gambling world, but it does help our confirmation bias when

(03:14):
we're talking about these games. And when we're talking about
the Florida gators, there was a little bit of misconception
after week one. We discussed that week one game at
length against Utah. I was on Utah took the l
fully and when I look back now at that game,
what has Florida done since? Well, they got pushed around
the week after against Kentucky. Lost that game outright, and

(03:36):
then against USF, I mean that game was really, really close,
way too close for comfort against the US F team
that you know, physically overmatch. And now we're getting into
week four and everything that we've seen from the gators
offense with Billy Napier, the honeymoon is over. Things are
on tape now and I haven't seen halftime adjustments. How

(03:58):
about this? Florida hasn't scored a point in the third
quarter all season. That's right after halftime and that's when
the coach, you would think, makes halftime adjustments based on
what they saw against the defense in the first half.
That's scary that we haven't seen the gators start out
the third quarter strong, considering how good of a coach
Billy Napier is and again the great performance against Utah.

(04:20):
That's when they had nothing on tape with Napier, so
it's hard to really say that this offense has improved
after week one. I would say that they've taken a
significant step back. For Tennessee, this is rarefied air. It's
the first time they've been favored by more than a
touchdown in this series and I don't know if that
speaks to their strength or maybe the gators perceived weakness.
And when you're talking about this gator's offense, to me

(04:42):
it's all about Anthony Richardson, obviously, but he's a hundred
and thirty fourth out of a hundred and thirty seven
qualifying qbs. Um So far this season very, very limited
in what we've seen from his expanse of this offense
and I'm a little bit concerned about his health. You know,
he took a knock in the Kentucky game. He hasn't
really been the same on the ground since and there's
not a ton of offensive skill talent around him. So

(05:05):
I'm a little bit concerned that Florida is gonna be
able to keep up with a Tennessee offense that has
had a ton of success and Josh hypel likes to
run a lot of plays they run tempo. This is
a very, very talented Tennessee offense, with hernond hooker as
quarterback or hand and Hooker as quarterbacks. So I find
it hard to see Florida keeping up in this game
and that's why I think the markets move towards the

(05:25):
balls interesting. Well, we'll pivot from a team in Florida
that you say limits uh laxim offensive talent and we'll
go with a team that certainly is not the case.
USC USC is not hurting with offensive talent. Over there.
They're taking on the Beeves, Oregon State catching six and
a half. The beeves underdogs. The total is seventy and
a half. Defense optional over there in Trojan Land, if

(05:49):
you will. What are you thinking in this one? Man,
what a fun game this is, Um so this is,
I think, the first time that USC is going to
look a little bit more human, at least on the
defensive end. They've really struggled defensively, but it hasn't shown
up on the scoreboard because teams have kind of bumbled

(06:09):
their way through the red zone, for example the last
six drives for Fresno State, and I'm gonna keep ringing
the bell that we should have covered that Fresno state
game um against USC, but we didn't. Now I think
when you look at what Fresno is at their core
they're a really good offensive team, but they were without
their starting quarterback for much of that game. Is Hayner

(06:29):
got hurt. But still the last six fresno drives all
went into USC territory. Four out of the six went
inside of the forty and they only scored a grand
total of seven points on those six drives. Four turnovers,
missfield goal and then the one touchdown. And again, four
of those six drives were with the backup quarterback for
Fresno State. So USC's defense can be had and I

(06:51):
think when you look at Oregon states ground attack, that's
kind of where I think there could be some advantages.
The Shawn Fenwick and Damian Martinez are both steady and
the offensive line returns three starters. So far really good
with the analytics. Three point two yards per line rush.
That's a really good metric. That means they're pushing people around.
I think we're gonna see a really positive Oregon state offense.

(07:12):
The tempo will be controlled. You have to because USC's
offense is so good and you have to keep them
off the field. So I think the strategy here is
going to be to try to control the clock, control tempo,
use that offensive line to gain yards and you know,
maybe it's too explosive. If the USC defense is really
that poor and there's just touchdowns and points everywhere, then

(07:33):
you throw USC's offense right back on the field and
then we've got to shoot up brew and that's why
the totals in the seventies. But I really struggle with
USC's defense here and I think that's why I'd be
very more inclined to take the points at home with
Oregon State. Yeah, I hear you on that. I anticipate
a high scoring game because I think Oregon State's offense
gonna have their way with USC's defense, especially at home
like that, and I just don't see USC's offense slowing

(07:56):
down on the road. I think it's gonna be a shootout.
How about this other ranked versus ranked game? Um, you've
got clemson. When? Well, did wait, how did wake forest?
Did they slip out of the rankings? It looks like
they did. I think they're kind of hovering, but they
still are ranked, but barely. Yeah, they're clinging on there.

(08:18):
Like you barely slipped by liberty and all of a
sudden the voters are like, Oh, Yuck. But what do
you think about Clemson if your offense against wake? Wake
is catching seven and a half as the underdog, even
though they struggled mightily last week against liberty. Yeah, this
blue through that key number of seven Um, you've seen

(08:39):
clemson now really installed as a solid favorite in this game.
Last year this game was a whole lot of fun.
It was Um. Now I don't know if Clemson's offense
is gonna get there, but against wake they've got a
shot because the wake defense is absolutely awful. But the
Tiger scored just thirteen points in the first half against

(08:59):
Louis the anti tech last week, so I'm curious what
we're gonna see here. Dj has been a little bit
better this year that first game. I think you give
him the a half of his first game to kind
of figure it out. He was better in the second
half and so far he's been better, at least touchdown
to interception ratio over the last couple of games. I

(09:20):
think the big element to his game that's improved is
his running game. He lost thirty pounds in the offseason.
He's a little more mobile this year and I think Dabbo,
knowing that there's a legit backup behind him, it feels
a little more comfortable calling design quarterback runds. Now they're
not facing a legit defense this week. So even if
they put up a bunch of points this week, I'm
not ready to ring the bell that Clemson's offense is

(09:41):
is going to be a high flying unit. I think
they should score a lot of points this week. We'll
see if they do. The other side of the game
is really what we have to handicap here, because I
expect Clemson to move the ball against wake. For us,
I expect there to be some points in this game,
even though the totals in the mid fifties. But the
question is, can wakes offense keep up and move the
ball against a very, very good clips in defense? Now

(10:04):
they run this like unique slow Mesh offense, is what
they call it, and it's kind of where they keep
the ball in the bread basket of the of the
running back for longer than the usual R P oh.
It's a very tough offense to prepare for, but the
offensive line has really struggled to block so far this year.
They're about the middle of the road team in adjusted
line yards and their top back, justice ellison, after averaging

(10:28):
five yards per carry last season, down to three and
a half this year. So I'm seeing a little bit of,
you know, down trend with the wake offense and Sam
Hartman now in his third game back from injury, but
he hasn't been willing to run since returning from the injury.
Just eight non sack runs in his first two games back.
So if you take away his legs and overall the

(10:49):
offensive line not getting enough push, they couldn't push it
around against liberty last week. Now you have to face
Clemson this week. Very tough to see wake moving the
ball consistently. I think Hartman is gonna be in a
lot of third down in longs and they don't have
a ton of talent on the outside. This isn't setting
up great for a game plan for wakes offense. There
one advantage there at home it's gonna be a blackout.

(11:11):
We'll see if the clemson offense can, you know, stay organized.
But I don't I don't like a lot of things
about wakes match up here in this Bot. Yeah, I'll
just say I don't like that combination of Slow Mesh
mixed with a dabble of weaker offensive line, mixed with
Clemson's defense. That that's not a great combination right there.
How about this? This might be the one of the

(11:32):
most rotten combinations in college football. UH, Colorado. Colorado, with
what they have, offensively, defensively, special teams, wise anything. Collectively,
they are hosting U C L A, U C L
A right now at Bet Mgm, favored by twenty one
and a half. Are you in auto fade mode yet
with the buffs? Yes, I I don't like. I say

(11:55):
that lightly, because I don't like to advise auto fading
because it goes against my basic principles as a Gambler,
which is we bet numbers, not teams. So I think
at twenty one and a half I would be less
inclined to Fade Colorado. But let's just leave it at this.
When I start my scan, which usually takes place Sunday

(12:16):
night when the lines dropped for the following week's games,
Colorado is the first line. I love, one of the
first lines I look at every week because I'm curious
awhere it opens, how much it's moved and if it's
still in a position where I could fade them. So
we faded them preseason. It was my biggest preseason bet,
risking five units, which for me is a massive bet.

(12:36):
Um usually on between one and two units on most
of my wages, but I risked five units preseason on
their under three and a half wins and I did
not see how anyone on the Colorado you know staff
was was capable of getting this team to four wins
this year with the talent around them. That has proven
to be true. They're not getting to four wins right now.
The live wind total that I think one of the

(12:57):
sports books in town here posted this week was half
and it's like on both sides. So it's like the
sports books are like are are they gonna win one
game this year? Maybe, maybe not, coin flip. So the there, there,
they're a D Rick George put out a statement this
week supporting head coach Carlore and if you read between
the lines there, if Dorrell is fired before the end

(13:19):
of the year, he's owed roughly a nine million dollar buyout,
according to one of the local papers in Boulder. So yeah,
Rick George might be saying we support Carl Dorell, but
I think what he's actually saying is we can't afford
to fire him right now, so we're just gonna have
to put up with the results that are going to
take place this year. That is not a good recipe
for motivation on the sidelines in the locker room. And

(13:41):
I'm friendly with one of the ESPN college football reporters
who covered the Minnesota Colorado game last week, um stormy,
stormy Bonatani, and she told me that like it was
just like a glazed overlook once the game started against Minnesota,
like they were just completely out of the game. So
very hard to back Colorado in any stretch. Numbers obviously matter,
but at this point I think you've gotta fait the

(14:02):
buffs every week pretty much. Yeah, okay, so definitely tune
in on Saturdays. It's Fox sports radios countdown to kickoff,

King of sports books. All Right, wanna welcome in bill
crack and Burger, we call him crack, Sports Handy happer
from crack wins dot com, here to talk NFL with us.
And before we do that, crack I, I I have a

(15:06):
personal beef with you. Okay, I just picked. You're not
texting me picks. You're making thousands of dollars over here
and you're holding out on your boy. No, what is
up with that? Oh No, no, no, no, no, no,
that that was explained wrong when you understood it. Run
then I actually said I like texting you guys. It's
a group text, the one that we're all on, even
including Ryan and all all the guys I just did.

(15:29):
I forgot to send you the COP I'd like to
send you copies of my circule picks and the copy
of my westgate picks every week. That's what you guys
know what I'm on. So No, I did not send
him anything yet. Mr No, okay, good. I'm looking forward
to getting many texts of many screen shots and very nice.
Now let's go broad here. To start it off, crack
nine home dogs. As of right now, in week three,

(15:50):
you've got nine home underdogs. When you hear that it
rivals week one, it's the first thing that you think of.
I didn't realize that, you know, but a lot of
these favorites, if you look go across the board. I
was talking about this previouly with with some guys. I
mean all these games opened up and moved tremendously on
the favorite Cincinnati moved from four to six, buffalo moved

(16:11):
from five to six. This is I'm what I'm talking
about is the opening line compared to the current line.
So there's a couple of lines that actually moved here, um,
literally both ways. But a lot of these, like Philadelphia,
opened up four with the seven. I mean that's crazy.
Washington getting seven points. That that was it's settled a
six and a half but so a lot of these
lines really get moved the beginning of the week. Um,

(16:33):
it's amazing. They come out Sunday night and by Monday
morning some of these lines moved three, four points. I'm
not used to seeing that in the NFL, college more
so not in the NFL. So lots of home dogs.
That make should be a fun week again. How about
that game that you just mentioned Philly and Washington, where
you mentioned the line movement. It moves a ton and
I love last week. So Washington, they get punched around

(16:57):
pretty good by the Lions and you had philly look
all world on Monday night against the Vikings. So some
people might be running to the window to bet the eagles.
But what do you think about Washington getting six and
a half right now at Bet Mgm? I would lean
to Washington. Matter of fact, what Mgms as minus six
and a half, minus fifteen. They have some alternative lines there.

(17:19):
I would definitely be looking to take the seven, though,
being a key number in the NFL, especially at a
total of forty seven and a half. If anything. Um,
I did not do that myself yet, but I'm just
saying that that that I looked that way before I'd
look on the Philadelphia Way. Listen, I have the Eagles
to win division. I got very lucky that I was
taking plus two to one, plus one seventy, and now

(17:39):
they're the favorites to win the division. I don't necessarily
know if they should be such big favorites. Don't forget
you still have the the giants now that are two
and Oh we know that. We know that Dallas can
play with cooper rush. So I don't know if it
should be that big of a favorite. I I think
it's an overreaction to the Dallas injuries going down, da
going down and some other injuries um this weekend. I

(18:02):
just don't see the eagles. Listen, Minnesota made the Eagles
look a lot better last week too, like we talked
about earlier. You and I were talking about off air.
So this should be interesting. It's an old, old rival game,
Washington at home. I'm not looking to lay no points there.
Let's look at Thursday night football. Here, crack, you've got
the steelers at the browns. Browns or minus four and

(18:26):
the total is thirty eight and a half at bed MGM.
Just in terms of the point spread in the total,
any value you see there. I think the line just
went down again actually. So yeah, it looks like it
opened up forty and a half down the thirty eight,
I believe in MGM if my I have a live
odd screen, is correct and you know, if anything, I
would probably lean to the dog and the under. There

(18:47):
didn't bet either one. Um It would be the way
I'd be leaning. I think that Pittsburgh will keep it
a closer game. I know we're weeks with Carolina, I think,
and then and then the jets embarrassing them last week. So, uh,
this should be an interesting game. It's an old division
rival a game again. I wouldn't be looking to lay
no points. I hate to say the same thing and

(19:08):
be so repetitive. Yeah, I always take a look at
the prop bets and it caught my eye crack. Wanted
to throw it your way. The quarterback passing yardage. So
this is just gross. I think anything under two hundred
is gross. But considering these quarterbacks, you might hit on
the under. What do you think about Mitchell trabiskie? His
passing yardage is at one ninety four and a half

(19:29):
and you have on the other side Jacoby Brissett. It's
at one eight one into into half. What do you
think about those problems? It's too low problems for me
to go under, especially. Yeah, it's too low. They're too
low for me to go under. But uh, you know,
I'm an under guy when it comes to props. I
do like even though primarily I have bet, I have

(19:50):
bet some overs this year on player props. You know,
we're we're live on our Sunday show and you guys
hear me. Um, you know, betting some things. As you see,
the first week the live Info I got was on
the two quarterbacks on on the Chicago bears, San Fran.
Last week we did go the opposite route, though. We
did go the opposite. We bet over on, let me see,

(20:10):
I think, I don't know, what was it, Baltimore, and
we went we went over on a live prop, though,
so I will go over on some props. unlined you.
It was Lamar and Lamar Jackson. We bet over. US
trying to think I knew I bet something, but Um,
you know, I will go over, but I'm not looking
to go over. I probably won't go over the full
season on any single quarterback. UH, passing yards. I'm looking

(20:33):
to play unders. Um, I gave it up there on
our show on Sunday. I'm looking to play unders against
the marquee quarterbacks, like Brady, because it's such an inflated line.
People love betting over Brady, Brissette and Drabinsky. Not Looking
to play over on them, but right now, because it's
it's looks like it's a pretty good iron outline. Not
really looking to play under on them either, one of

(20:53):
those guys either. You know, I'll stick with that because
you mentioned Tom Brady. Let's look at Brady and Rogers
in this game. Tampa hosting Green Bay. It's an interesting spot.
If you look at Brady, his passing yardage to fifty
one and a half. But think about it. No Mike
Evans due to suspension, the injury bug. We don't know
if Julio Jones is gonna play. Chris Godwin is not

(21:14):
going to play. They just signed Cole beasily. So when
you think about all of that and you consider Green
Bay's defense, what do you think about Brady to fifty
one and a half this game? You know, there's such
thing as a look aheadline and I actually bet under
certain sports books put these up earlier this I just
bet this like a week ago. They have a look aheadline.

(21:36):
This line went down to it's actually forty one and
a half, forty two about MGM uh, moves like that.
You don't really get moves like that, but I got
pretty lucky and had that. I'm not looking to bet,
believe it or not, this game. I'm definitely again, even
though I bet the under on the quarterbacks. Right now.
I guess, if anything, I would look again to you
said Brady's to fifty one and a half. Is that

(21:57):
what you said, Brian? They lowered it from last week.
Last week I had under Brady was like to seventy
seven and a half. They took took twenty five yards
off that. Uh, it may be a good line right now.
I did not bet it yet. I'm looking to bet
anything in this game because I bet the under in
the game. The game opened up, like I said, the
look aheadline from down to forty two. Even this week

(22:18):
they opened up forty five and a half Sunday, Sunday
night down to forty two. I'm looking to bet everything
under on this game. So I would lean towards the
unders on those type of player props Um. A lot
of times I'll go under. quarterback touchdown passes. So it's
something I like doing. I'm not sure. I didn't look
at the numbers in this game yet. A lot of

(22:39):
times if you can get two and a half and
you'll get down on the market. By the way, you'll
get down on the marquee quarterbacks. Sometimes under two and
a half touchdowns. Oh my God, they need three touchdown
passes to beat you. I really like the under on
on on some of those. So it's pretty interesting to
see some of these lines, though, crack right where Green
Bay Tampa Bay typically think about a lot of offense.

(23:01):
It's forty two, like you mentioned that bet. MGM, it's
Pretty Low, but you can still sound crazy at all. Yeah, no,
even though I had the underhead, the look ahead number,
at forty eight, I didn't expect it to move to
forty two, that's for sure. It does look low and
there may be some uh, some return to the me
and some buy back there. A lot of guys want

(23:22):
to want to middle totals and they've got one way
and met the other way. I I don't do that.
I can't even get enough money down normally that on
something I want, never mind the middle of games. So uh,
and go to one other game. You're looking at her
crack Lions Vikings, the first half line. It's at twenty
six at Bet Mgm. What are you thinking about that one?
I'm looking the bed over there. I didn't, I didn't
send it out, didn't, didn't, didn't actually bet it yet,

(23:44):
but I were looking the bed over on that first half.
DETROIT MINNESOTA. Um, you know Minnesota. You know literally uh,
last week, should have scored much, much more. I had
the over in that game also. Uh, a lot of
a lot of turnovers in the red zone there and
made made the eagles look a little bit better than
they are. I look, I think Detroit is just. They're just.

(24:06):
They've been scoring some points here and Um, maybe because
I watched hard knocks, I'm all pumped up about them still.
But if anything, yeah, I'm I and I said I
am gonna bet the over the game. Move the opener,
move from fifty and a half to up to fifty two,
fifty two and a half, fifty three. Actually it's a
couple of spots, MGM, two and a half. I will
look to be looking at that first half over. A Lot,

(24:27):
a lot of these games. I enjoy. I like betting
first half over is more than second, than than full
game a lot too, because a lot of times in
the full game, I you know that that fourth quarter,
if a teams up by ten or something, to be
running the ball, running the clock out and you just
don't get the scoring that that you should get and
you get a pure true number in the first half.
You think right back till last Sunday. That happened in

(24:48):
the bears packers game. This the exactly big time. Look
a look at that. I mean I actually didn't watch
the game that night. I was at a show with
my wife, but I know they scored like a ridiculous
but then they scored nine points or something like that
in the second half. I'd have to go back and
maybe even six. I mean it was like ridiculous. Yeah,
so I think thirty one total at halftime. So yeah,

(25:10):
just a couple of field goals in the second help halfow. Wow,
which show did you see? I'm again pink Floyd. This
pink Floyd Band called Australian Pink Floyd. They were in
Red Bank, New Jersey, Mammoth County, New Jersey, at an
old school theater that that springsteen used to have a
piece of and uh, they're they're just fantastic. One of
the greatest pink floyd bands of all time. The real

(25:31):
members of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, David Gilmore, have used
them themselves and uh, they were just fantastic. Very nice.
I'M gonna throw one more at you. I'm looking at
Monday night. How about them cowboys? So they get a
win with cooper rush. They're a one point dog at
BET MGM as we're recording this crack against the giants.
The giants two and Oh and have a chance to

(25:53):
go to three and oh for the first time, I think,
since Oh nine. So what what do you think about
the cowboys at the giants first blush? I'll be rooting
for Dallas based on my giants season win under seven
and a half bet um. But listen, I said it
last week on our Sunday show. It was a giant
overreaction the Dallas cowboys getting seven and a half points

(26:15):
from Cincinnati. The Look aheadline was three and a half
or four together. Way. Come on, you can't move ten
eleven points based on one injury. Well, I should say
one injury Dak, meaning the key injury. He's also had
some other injuries there to the line and it was
just too much. You don't know, seven points and then
went down to seven game time. Seven points for a

(26:36):
team that was picked to win the division. No Way,
no way, that it was a giant overreaction and uh,
I'll be rooting for the Dallas this weekend, Monday nights game.
It's a low total, as you pointed up off air,
another low total. UH, division rival Games should be fun
to watch. If anything there um again, I'll be, I'll be.

(26:56):
I'll be going for Dallas that game. Hey, be sure
