Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox sports. Oh that is ustood evening.
Everybody out of day where? Texas Tech? Just be Texas, everybody.
We are broadcasting. Why? From the tire Iraq Dot Com studios.
Ti Iraq Dot Com. We'll help you out with shipping,
Free Road Hazard Protection and over ten thousand recommended installers.

(00:23):
DIRECT DOT COM. The way tire buying should be. He's
vja Husky. Hi, you do it tonight, VJ. Yes, sir,
my man, big ours. That's something. Man, I'm doing out standing.
How you doing, brother man, I am so pumped up
for the dolphins bills tomorrow topics can't even sleep. I
can't even sleep. I'm I'm ready to give the bills
the butt king they deserve. My friend, do you remember

(00:46):
when the bills do office went up there and Brian
Cox walked out of the tunnel with the with the
double with the double gun salute? I found that picture,
downloaded it. Say You didn't, and it's been my phone
screensaver all week long, because that's the energy the Miami
Dolphins need going into this game. This is no by
any means a gimme. They're gonna have to play their

(01:08):
butts off and they're gonna execute and not turn the
ball over and get this one and gets a very
good buffalo tape. But we need that early nineties Dolphin
Louis Oliver, Jarvis Williams, Brian Cox type defensive energy for tomorrow. No, no,
we don't need any of that. We'll find the way
we are. I love the team. I love the offense.
I haven't since this seen this type of offense, uh,

(01:29):
since the Marx brothers. You know what I mean. This
is fantastic. I'm like, man, we're putting up points every
which way possible. You know. By the way, I just
hate that everybody is now starting to jump on the bandwagon,
especially our colleague Brian Know, who's a Dolphin Fan, who
would not even admit that they were gonna go ahead
and go to the playoffs. I'm sure he's thinking super
bowl now. So Um, I hate that everybody's jumping on

(01:51):
the bandwagon now. It makes me sick. You know that well,
I told knowing I did a show back over the
summer where I made my mind up. It was like
in Julyssa. You know what I'm all in. I'm not
gonna waffle onto it. I'm not gonna play tennis. I'm
all in. He's wearing aquan orange. I don't know if
he's the guy, but guess what? They got him weapons,
got him a line. Defense is still good. Got A
new young one, the KID head coach. We're gonna find
out sooner or later. And he was like, you're in?

(02:12):
I said, I'm in. No, I'm all in being on
to a type of our load, because he's our quarterback
and it is the guy we need to be all
in know. So I've been there with him, man, and
I was I was so thrilled and just so hyped
and excited to see what he was able to pull
off after having an average first half, but just coming
back and showing that Moxie, man, showing those those those
great fruits, brother, that there. Give me the ball. Let

(02:33):
me just get it to our guys and we'll we'll
come back and win this game. So I'm all in
on him. I've been all in on him since the summer.
You know. Isn't it funny how he's my homes Esk
now that he has a little bit of weapons around,
all of a sudden you get tyreek Hill and all
of a sudden you're throwing for six touchdowns. You looking good,
you know, you know you're laughing, but you know what
would have happen if you had tyreek hill two years

(02:54):
ago or if they had a decent team the last
couple of years? Will we be thinking of the same
way as as to us as we do out would
we be thinking of him like two end my homes?
Would we be thinking that maybe two is better than
my homes? Who knows what kind of stats would be
up there? I mean I think two was a great quarterback.
All of a sudden he's got weapons. Let's take the
weapons away from my homes and see if you see
if everybody thinks he's gonna be the best quarterback of

(03:16):
all time. You know, well, a couple of things. They
have taken the weapons from a home, or that weapon
at least from the home, and wait. But but we
saw the struggles against cans, against against the chargers. It
takes a pick six to win that game. The chargers
are going into the end zone. They've driven the length
of the field, they're going in. I don't know if
the receiver was tired or too tired or lazy or

(03:37):
whatever the case was the I thought the coach should
have called the time out. First of all, he's looking
to the bitch, waving his hand, and we're trying to
win the game here. You gotta call the time outlive
the guy get his win, especially if you're gonna throw
right back to him. So he didn't have that weapon
to take the top off of defenses, and they made
it a point to point that out during the game
last week, that the secondary just doesn't respect the speed
anymore because you don't have to read. And now that

(03:58):
you give him over to two A, weather too has
got the big armor control, whatever crap people want to
throw out all summer long when you put that type
of weapon on the offensive side of the ball. Arnie,
all twenty two eyes, Eleven guys all twenty two eyes.
When the huddle breaks, you better find one zero. You
have to, and that makes everything else come together. Man,
you bring him up a pet peeve. Why have you

(04:20):
know everybody's criticizing on one of the touchdowns that he
vastly underthrew. Um tyreek killed by a couple of yards. Um,
you don't understand when somebody is so wide open, you're
not supposed to lead him so that you throw it
too far, that it goes off his hands or that
they don't connect and then all of a sudden you
go boy, he wishes he had that one back. Yeah,
you under throw him just a little bit so you

(04:41):
make sure it's either gonna be a penalty or he's
gonna catch it. Last thing you need to do is
overthrown or rabbit go off his hands and everybody goes, Oh,
look what he did, he was wide open. You don't.
You don't have to. You know what the have uh
be on the mark a hundreds. You know perfectly. Just
get a tim at that point. You know what I
mean here, what I'm saying there. V J, exactly, man.
But you know what, I got the best solution for

(05:03):
all of that. That that call it the clown show.
Everybody wants to be the clown show now and I
tell people, long enough, you hang around the circus, long enough,
you'll become one of the clowns. Did they score? Did
he catch the ball? Did it score? Did he put
six in the extra point? Made it seven on the board? Okay,
then that's where I stand with under thrown, underthrown, thrown
too short, thrown and did he catch the ball? Did

(05:24):
Jalen waddle game win and pass. Oh, he threw it
behind him. He had to throw it behind him. The
safety is bearing down on him and he throws it
behind because the defensive backs not looking there. But if
that was my holmes, Press Scott and Roger, if it
was any of them other guys, or let's go with
some young guys, if that was Josh Allen or my
Holmes or who else is young everybody's in love with nowadays.

(05:44):
Justin Herbert and it was one of those guys. Oh,
look how precise he was. He knew what he was doing.
Right there, they see and they'll come back rock the
color guy go. You know, see this looks like to
the naked eye, over non football guard. This looks like
a bad throat. But let me show you what he's
doing right here, right that's how they do what, man,
that's exactly how they call games, bro so I but
it doesn't matter at the end of the day. My

(06:05):
question is, did he throw the ball? Did they catch it?
Did they score? Okay, then all that other stuff you're
saying don't even matter. How many people out there are
just listening to us right now, all these guys are
drinking the CULG on the dolphins. They're gonna. They're because,
you know, the bills look phenomenal. I mean the really
the pick of the day. Vegas is begging you to
take the bills and lay the five. That's that's nothing

(06:26):
compared to what the bills of the the first two games.
You know, yeah, exactly that. But here, here's the thing
with the first two games, when you look at both
of their opponents, they were just outmatched. The bills are.
This is not even a hater thing, being a Dolphin Fan.
I'm being in annals. That's a good football team. In
my opinion. They may be the best team in the league,
but they're having things that are happening to some other teams.
Some major injuries, some major guys will not suit up

(06:46):
them all. Jordan Phillips has been ruled out. Former dolphin,
we drafted defensive tackle, has been reckoned shop the first
two weeks, which was worrisome to me because our offensive
line I don't know yet. And also armstead. I think
he's already ruled out too. I know this questionable. Just
more to think. Somebody texts me later on this afternoon.
It said that he was out. They also have some
defensive bat guys out, Michael Hides out, so they're starting
to face some injuries. So we'll see if they can

(07:08):
kind of plug the holes and kind of, you know,
stop the leaks for right now, like some teams have to.
The good thing about the dolphins is we don't have
those major injuries at major positions right now, so we
should be able to take advantage of that with Buffalo.
So but I still think, though, Arnie, they are a
good football team. Josh Allen's the real deal, man. Big
Kid can throw it. Digs wow, I mean like real talk,
and you can't knock what digs is doing and been

(07:30):
doing the last season and then the first two games
this year. So it's gonna be tough, man, but I
do think they can get it, especially with the five.
I'm taking the dolphs with the plus five anyways. Like well,
I'll take it to plus five. I want you to
be part of the show. It's real simple. You can
tweet us at Husky E N t. How am I
reading your I I hate your twitter handle. I either
have to have say it, I gotta spell it. Husky
and Husky Entertainment. But what do you want me to do?

(07:53):
You want you're doing it, Arnie, you're doing it perfect,
like you do almost everything you're doing radio. Man, it's
just Husky and he listen, he is capitalized because they
wouldn't let me do it on a lower case. I
guess somebody had already lower case. Then I'm like, hold on,
I'm one of the few huskies on the plane. Now,
who the WHO the hell is this? This guy the
last name Husky? This might be one of my cousins
or something exactly. Well, Butch Husky. Yeah, he was a

(08:15):
mets played for the mets. He I played uh for
the mets back in the nineties. But if, Um, it's
just Husky anty, you're doing it fine, man, but it
does stand for a Husky e NT LLC, my second
LC company that create way too much information. I'm at
stinking genius one. Don't make me write you out, because
I can't get you fired today from what you uh
did yesterday, and I don't want to go ahead. I'm
gonna write you out. Um, I was talking about playing

(08:36):
in the senior Olympics and I told Vj that I
wanted to play a pickle ball and vjs like, what's
pickle ball? He felt I was you're going, are you serious?
It is not like a real sport. I go yeah,
it's a real sport. I have not heard a pickup ball.
It's all over the place. I don't understand. You're sports radio.
You never heard a pickup ball. What's wrong with you? No,
I've never heard of pickle ball. I had no idea

(08:58):
what pickle ball was. I tell you, I'm not. I'm
not gonna see. I'm not gonna say what. I text
you back when I what I thought what it sounded.
I was like, yeah, that sounds like such and such
and such and such to me, man, but that's just
the community. No, I've never heard it. And so I'm
at the mall yesterday. It's my birthday weekend. I'm in
the sneaker section getting to pay sneakers for my daughter
journey and my son Cameron, and I see this son

(09:19):
says sketchers pickle ball. I immediately think of Arnie. I
pulled my phone out, I take a picture of it
and then I texted to Arnie like, Bro, are you serious?
And Arnie texted me back. You could tell the tone
was serious. Like Vj, it's a real thing. Okay, it's
a real sport. They have the Olympics. That did not.
I'm like, okay, I gotta find out what single ball
it's like playing dodgeball, when you dodge a wrench or

(09:41):
something like that. It's because we're talking about sports radio.
We're gonna be we got a lot to get to.
First of all, I do want to say this. Remember,
I told you we came on the other Texas Tech.
I did a field goal. There was about the twenty
five seconds left of the game, I believe her twenty
two seconds left, and I turned my back. I looked
back up last playing the game. Texas kicks the field goal.
They're going into overtime. Right now, Texas and Texas Tech,

(10:04):
they are tied at thirty four. Um, a couple of
other games, it looks like Tennessee is gonna go onto
the victory. Uh. They lead for to thirty seven. At
least that's the last score I got. All right, so
I don't know why it hasn't finished yet. That's been
a very, very long game. But Tennessee, uh, great performance
there for the really turnovers and shooting themselves in the foot.

(10:25):
Look what's going on with middle. Tennessee up forty five,
thirty one over Miami on the road at the you
who saw this one coming? I always say this. I
always wish I would have bet like the underdog on
the money line. You probably get what the three they
were like a twenty, twenty and a half point underdog. Unbelievable.
This is one of the big upsets of the year. There, yeah,

(10:46):
and it is. Well, it would have been a bigger
one if appoltschess they had a knocked off North Carolina,
but this is probably gonna be the one second because
the appolts just they did turn around and beat Uh
Texas A and M. I think that's the biggest upset.
But this one right here and bow and I were
just talking before came in the studio and we got
on air here about Mario Crystal Ball. They rolled out
the brinks truck for this guy, right man. They rolled
out the bench chuck and and and opened the bank

(11:08):
for him and I think he can't turn things around there.
But not being able to move the ball last week
against Texas A and M and not be really putting
any points on the board and then letting a Middle
Tennessee team come in that's at two and one and
giving up four yards through the air on from Cunningham,
the quarterback there. It's almost like, dude, your secondary can't
give up four hundred yards to the quarterback from Middle

(11:29):
Tennessee state. Are you kidding me? So it's gonna put
up a fifty Burger Miami territory and touch own here.
Then that gives him fifty two points. They'RE gonna put
up a fifty burger on the road against Miami. Unbelievable. Vj. Yeah,
it's last week. It was funny how everything was a
blow and I heard people saying, Oh God, this this
week it was horrible. Noah, wasn't. Last weekend, let us

(11:50):
separate teams. We got to see the tops separate from
the rest, the middle and then the rest of the crew.
This weekend all the top teams got challenging and then
some of the teams that we thought were gonna be
pretty good they're taking some butt whippons this weekend and
it's starting to separate college football even more. My MOM
IS gonna fall out of the top twenty five depend
upon we'll pull you look in right now. So they're
gonna fall out and it doesn't get easier. You know,

(12:12):
they still have clips and they still have pit they
still have some games, even UV A. I watched Syracuse
at UV A. Uva is tough. UVA runs the football
and they got a quarterback there. Guys like sit when,
six seven or something like that. They they're they're tough.
So they got some some tough games coming up, man,
but this is this is a bad loss, areN'ti? D J?
Let me give you an update. Texas had the ball
first and overtime. They fumble. That means Texas tech with

(12:34):
the ball. All they need is a field goal. They
have a third and goal, though, at the four yard line.
I don't know if they're gonnattempt the field goal on
third down in case it's a bad snap and then
they can kick it on fourth down, or if they
try to run one more play and maybe get into
the end zone and not rely on kicking the field goal.
So it looks like they're going to run a play
on third and goal. It's actually the three yard line now,

(12:57):
not the four, the three. Not that makes that much
of a difference. If they get in the game is over.
If not, they'll set up for the field goal. I'm assuming. Yeah,
I got it up here in the studio. I'm watching
it right now. So in his studio right now. Yeah, Texas,
let this one really slip away. They stop him. It
is now down to the one yard line. So Um,
it's pretty pretty close. Their quarterback sneak might be just

(13:18):
as easy as take the three and make it easy
to take the three. There's there's no way at quarterback
sneak this. There's no chance. And he's he slips. So
he's down at the two. He rolls to like the
one at a half, but he slips down. They'RE gonna
mark out at a barrieball the two. You can't sneak
that from there. He Looks Smith wants to go back in.
You can see him kind of like, come on, coach now,
let's take this three and get out of here with this.

(13:40):
I want a dollar from everybody who says, if this
kick gets blocked, why didn't they do a quarterback right,
like I could retire it up by Ode Ioland you
know that. You think, you think Texas, but if it's
a bad snap, they'll say why didn't you kick it
on third down? If he gets blocked, they'll say, why
did you just do the quarterback sneaker? I probably you.
That's the way fans are. You know what, though, I never,

(14:01):
I have never in my life, like the go kick
it on a third in case of a bad snap,
because if it's a bad snap, if he doesn't fall
right on it, you can get hit and you can
get fighting fumble the defense can recover. I just say, listen,
run to play on the third. Set it up. This
is what your kicker is supposed to do anyway. So
you know, run to play. I've just never been a

(14:22):
chicken on third down unless the clock dictates that. Yeah,
so they're gonna go ahead and, uh, I think there's
a time out. It's gonna be fourth down and they're
gonna go ahead and kick it. We'll see what happens
and uh, the fun will really set it up. fumbled
by Robinson is what put them in this situation. UH,
thirty four, thirty four, Texas had this game one. They
had a double digit lead and it looked like they

(14:44):
had everything in place. Here Texas Tech with the comeback.
So we'll let you know what they kick it in
overtime and then a lot of the top twenty five,
the big teams, Alabama, Ohio state, all starting at the
bottom of the hour. So we got the big boys
vj when when things get going tonight, and I think
both of them should take care of business. I like
this Ohio state team. Even being a Michigan Guy, I

(15:05):
still just like football and love talent. They have great
offensive talent there. I don't think their defense will hold
up as the year goes on, but they'll be able
to score with just about anybody here as Texas Tech
Attempts to twenty R field goal here and over time
to knock off Texas, and UH knocks it through, man,
and that's it. That's it for right there. So Texas
has the fall to two and two. They're probably gonna
fall out of top twenty five also. But yeah, big

(15:26):
boys go up tonight. Man, I like the way college
football was spread out today areny. We got some good
high rane teams early and then in the second slate
of Games, the twelve thirty games back east, UH, or
the three, excuse me, twelve thirty games here, three thirty
games back east. It was a nice slate of talent.
And then tonight also to S C up big court vallance.
That's when I'm gonna go home after we get off
the air here. Man, and and and lane, lean back
and poor little daddy juice and check out the trojes.

(15:49):
I'm high on the TROJANS man. I Love Lincoln Riley,
I love Kayle will. I am so high on the
I think they have a real shot. Aren'tie to get
into the College playoff this year? That's Colin Hourd. I'm
Marty Spaniard. What do you what is up? Everybody over
there gonna be us. What's going on with you? Listen, Colin, Colin,
I tell people all the time, you want to learn

(16:10):
how to do a professional radio show seriously. You want
to play to your sponsors, you wanna, you just want
to do it because people. I wanted to see the Internet. Oh,
you flip flops, guys. He's a businessman. This is he
runs this like a professional, the way it should be,
but still entertaining. Have your talent, be knowledgeable how people
you can reach out to. So he's just he's playing
the play man. Listen, he's playing. Listen. He's in L A.

(16:31):
He knows. I listened to him in Bristol. He didn't
talk about that. See in Bristol, you come to Los Angeles,
you talk about the Trojans. That's VJ Husky, I'm Marty Spaniel,
will come back. We'll give you the updated scores, we'll
take gets. You're ready for the games tonight and what

DOT COM. We'll hope you get their non match selection fast,
free shipping, Free Road Hazard Protection and over ten thousand

(17:56):
recommended stallers. Ti IRAC DOT com the way I are
buying should be, by the way, Vega. I don't know
if I ever told you my wife say Buffalo Fam.
She's from Buffalo. I can't watch a game with her.
Now she into football and she's just the season tickets.
He used to go to the Games and then they

(18:17):
used to go to the bills games and then go
to the sabers games at night. And she's just insufferable
to watch a game with just just because like if
your team, if your team gets down seven, nothing goes.
Oh Gosh, your deean socks look. I just I just can't.
I can't watch. My wife's a Raider Fan. She's born
and bred here in L A, out of a Hawthorn
in Inglewood in south central areas, where all her families from.

(18:38):
So she's big time raiders and S C so I
always thought it was cool to just go for your
if it doesn't affect my dolphins. Then when her team's on,
I'm I'm pulling for the raiders to win because we're
sitting there watching the game. They gather and stuff, unless
the teams play each other. So and she never really
rags on my dolphins that much. So we moved to
buffalo for a while there. Yeah, we were there for
a couple of years. So, you know, chicken wing and

(19:01):
Beers and and you know, all that stuff constantly round
the clock too. I love chicken wings. Also, to Arnie,
just a quick update, man. Tennessee, UH, Florida has scored
and the recovery onside kick. So it's thirty three, thirty
eight with seventeen seconds left at the belief Florida's out
of timeouse, but they have the ball in. You know,
they have a chance with seventeen seconds or at least
run three plays and maybe they pull this off. We

(19:22):
we wrote it off, but I I wrote it off
and put on the Washington State Oregon game. So now
I gotta put it back on. As you mentioned, thirty eight,
thirty three. Tennessee up by five. Four seconds left and
Florida is going to have the ball at the Tennessee
is at the forty four my senior right. I don't know.
They cut away from it for a second. There's gonna

(19:43):
be eleven seconds left. No time outs left, I believe,
for either team. No on neither teams timeouse. They have
a chance for two. It's gonna be the thirty nine
yard line, the thirty nine yards. Had to put the
ball down to thirty nine. Eleven seconds is two plays.
You have enough time to run one more play and
I think you have enough time to get everybody up

(20:03):
there and spike it if you need to, and try
to stay away from the perimeter of Tennessee smart. Nay,
keeping from the perimeter and a complete he was wide
open and complete. So now there's six seconds left. They're
gonna have to throw it into the end zone now
from the thirty nine yard line and and hope for
the best. You know, I see now that a couple
of teams have thrown it short of the end zone,
like around the one yard line, kind of getting afflicted

(20:25):
forward and somebody picking it, like the APP state interception
or reception, and then they running in for a touchdown.
You know, yeah, that was beautiful. We talked about that.
We were in editing room when our first guy here, man,
we brought that out. That's that's just crazy. APP State,
you know, game days there last week game. They's got
no business being at at state right. Game days there
and then the crew left. They didn't even call the game.

(20:46):
The crew left and uh, it's gonna be over, it's
gonna be intercepted. Tennessee is going to win the game.
Thirty Eight, thirty three over Florida. We're getting ready for
the big games. You think of, before they even start,
any of the possible upsets of some of the teams
out there, like Alabama losing the Vanderbilt, Ohio State. Maybe
go down to Wisconsin and what do you think about that?

(21:07):
Arkansas and A and M game? So let me start
with Alabama Vanderbilt. You know there was somebody that picked
the vanderbilk got one vote to win the SEC before
the beginning of the year. There are forty and a
half point favorite. Maybe I like the points, but no
way I see an upset in this game. No, no
way on. I'm with you too. I like the forty
and a half. Even Alabama cancerprises and say and put
up a fifty and fifty five Burger. But I would

(21:27):
take vanderbilt here with the Plus Uh forty and a half.
But no, there'. There's no upset here. Obama has too many,
too many Jimmy and Joe's all right. So we'll see
what happens in that one. Um. What about the Wisconsin
Ohio State? How do you see that? Is that because
you know Wisconsin? Some people are picking that is the
sexy upside of the of the weekend. I'm not so
sure what the way Ohio state looks. If it was

(21:48):
in can't Randall, then I would say they have a shot,
but with it being in the horseshoe, they have zero
shots to upset this game. I think they can make
it competitive, but once again, Ohio state has a lot
of weapons on the off fense and I don't think
Wisconsin's defense, over what I've seen over the first two
or three weeks, can keep up with their offense. And
even if it's closed, I think shroud and company make
more plays in the second half. The speech shows up,

(22:10):
the differential between the speech shows up. They should win
this game. I don't know if they covered a nineteen,
I like them, maybe by seventeen eighteen points. And what
about like Arkansas, a and M and I'm going all
through all kinds of trouble. You know, they've got the
top recruiting class, sup mostly, coming in for next year.
I don't know if that affects things, if kids are
gonna say I don't want to go there. I don't
know if it's too late or or what's going to happen.

(22:30):
I I somehow feel like it. It won't have much
of an effect at also. But Um, right now they're
in a little bit of disarray, my friend. OR THEY
MAT ter? What? Yeah, they got a lot going on there.
But you and I talked two weeks ago where I
feel like Jimbo should have already at least been to
a conference championship game. Right like you come from Florida state.
You won a national championship with a freshman quarterback in

(22:53):
Jameis Winston, my man, a k a crab legs, and
you you make the jump over to uh Texas A
and M. You're sup to turn this program around fast
and you already have a loss to APP state. You
haven't beat really any uh the big boys in in
a significant way to get yourself to a SEC championship games.
So they have a lot of questions here in Arkansas,
even though I think Texas and M cauld win this game.

(23:14):
As I'm watching it, like you said, it's already thirteen nothing.
They've just scored again. A and M isn't disarrayed. They
got it. Jimbo has got a lot of answers to
a lot of questions about this program right now. HarN'ty,
absolutely you want to get in Husky E N T.
I'm instincting. Genius One. What happened earlier today, plus what's
gonna Happen in the late late games we got, you know,

(23:35):
the late late games, which is what the seven thirty
Pacific Games. Um, a lot of good games on that one.
So we'll go through that also. And Georgia. I don't
know if you paid any attention to that game. Kind
of pushed a little bit. I was really surprised. Um,
you know, that's the type of thing that gets your
voted out of number one. But I don't think anybody's

(23:56):
close to taking that away from him. So we'll get
to that also. Like I said, he's a ski and TM.
It's sticking. Genius One. Plus, we got all kinds of
NFL coming up in plenty. More in Buffalo Miami, but
first let's check in. Monty Bologno's checking in, see what's trending,
what's going on. Hi, guys, have me Saturday. Arnie, that

(24:16):
is the best you've ever said my name. Well, that
was like, like you've been saying it for years now,
a professional span. Look at that. It's got to roll off.
Got Off. I can't roll my rs. I'm not good
at that. Do you know it's funny or interesting? I'm

(24:36):
Costa Rican. We don't roll our RS. So I learned
that late as I got twenty year old, really like
late in my life, that when I would speak Spanish
here in California and I didn't roll my rs, people
thought I didn't really know how to speak Spanish because
we don't pull our RS. We say like Costa Rica,
not Costa Rica, we like we don't roll it, and
so I had to learn. I didn't know that. I

(24:58):
was like, Oh my God. So a lot of people
were like, we thought you like fake spoke Spanish and
I was like, oh my goodness, no, we just don't
roll our RS in Costa Rica. We don't do that, though,
the rolling of the R. God it sounds so much
better the rolling of the that is so funny and
like really, it depends who I'm talking to, like, if

(25:20):
it's somebody I know, I'll just speak normal Costa Rican
like I don't roll my arm. If it's like the
first time I'm speaking to someone in Spanish, I don't
want them to judge me, so I will make and
I will roll my art, but it's trust me, it's
it's a weird thing, like to be like roll R.
Don't forget to roll the R. You've never spoken to
this person. They're gonna think you don't really know how
to speak Spanish. With the life, the life we live

(25:42):
right all right, guys. So let's go with the Games
that are going on right now. Oregon and Washington state.
Washington state has been giving them a hard time the
entire game and they are still up thirty four to
four minutes to go for the game. Number fifteen again
struggling with Washington state. We have a tie game between
number eight Tekey in Northern Illinois. We just ended the
first quarter tied at seven apiece. Number ten, Arkansas taking

(26:06):
on number twenty three, Texas A and M, and they're
a fourteen zero five minutes to go in the game.
A couple of games that just ended. Texas Tech beat
number twenty two Texas, thirty seven to thirty four and overtime.
The long horns, you like, celebrated early, but they had
twenty one seconds left in regulation and managed to tie
the game with the field goal. But the red raiders
came out victorious in the end. Middle Tennessee, they handled

(26:27):
number twenty five, Miami, forty five to thirty one. Blue Raiders.
Quarterback Chase Cunningham Sixteen of twenty five for four hundred
and eight yards and three touchdowns, including a ninety nine
yard one. Number Eleven Tennessee held on to beat number twenty, Florida.
They got a little scared but they held on thirty
eight to thirty three. Then the Games earlier today. Number One,

(26:48):
Georgia handled Kent State. Yes, but you were talking about it.
They could get bumped out because it seemed like a
struggle they had. They turned over the ball three times.
They struggled in the red zone, but the bulldogs came
out victorious. bulldocks quarterbacks at Sin Bennett seven and thirty
six for two hundred and seventy two yards and was picked.
No touchdowns were thrown. All of Georgie's touchdowns were rushing touchdowns,

(27:08):
including two from tight end brock bowers, one of which
was a seventy five yard run. The number Seventeen Baylor
held on to be Iowa state. Thirty one, twenty four.
Number five, clemson needed two overtimes to beat number twenty one.
Weight four is fifty one to forty five. Can either
of you say Clemson quarterbacks last name Dj just. I

(27:30):
can't say it because it doesn't look like that. So
the way I want to read it look like that.
I called his high school games for Fox Sports West. Okay,
I got a lot of practice when he was in
high school for Bosco. I'm gonna have you recorded and
I'm just gonna he through for three hundred and seventy
one yards and five touchdowns. Number Fourteen, Penn State held
central Michigan to zero points in the second half and

(27:51):
beat them thirty three to fourteen. and number four, Michigan
outscored Maryland thirty twenty seven. Wolverines running back Blake coreum
had thirty carries for two hundred and three yards, both
their career highs, and two touchdounds. And number twenty four,
Pittsburgh Dominated Rhode Island to twenty four. Those are the
Games we've had so far. Back to you, guys. Thanks,

(28:14):
right here on Fox sports radio and busy Saturday. Um.
By the way, DJ UH coming out of high school,
people predicted that when he wanted it, was going to
go to the NFL draft. He was gonna be a
number one pick. Um Overall. Far from that, my friend. Yeah, far, far,
far here. Here's the thing, man, real quick story. When
I was calling his games, I got on twitter one

(28:35):
night and I said I love this kid. This is
his junior year. I said I love his size, his
arm and everything, but I would just love for him
to work on his feet. His feet are scattered and
when he throws the ball he's just depending on just
that upper body to how big he is. Kids six, four, six,
five to forty in high school and his his fan
base came. You talked about come after me, Bro came

(28:55):
after me. I said hold up, I said he's my
favorite junior to watch. Guys, good this gracious. I'm just
talking about his feet. So his senior comes around, I
said the same thing. He gets to Clemson. If you
just watch his feet, his feet are still not together.
It's all upper body. It's all just size and torch
and if he does not clear that up, that's just
because you saw it last year. You had nine touchdowns

(29:17):
and thirteen interceptions. You know you're supposed to be way
better than that when you're talking about being a number
one overall dropt pick, also in the first round pick,
exactly exactly. But also to being that he battled bryce
young in high school. Bryce young played for Modern Day.
They played three times in high school and Bryce got
him to to one. So you got the two top
quarterbacks battle in high school. Nobody said that stuff about Bryce,

(29:37):
but a lot of people said it about Dj. You
see it popping up still in college today. Let me
ask just to re overrate him, or is he just
not one of those strong clemson teams you see in
the past? No, no, no, he will now. One thing
he could do was just straight spinning. Man. You talk
about thirty, forty yards down the field between a safety
in a corner. I've watched him drop some beautiful uh

(29:58):
balls into his receiver, Hudson at the time, who's now
up at Oregon, who's their slot receiver there, who's a
speed guy and you know he's got he had all
the goods. I just don't know if he ever really
worked on the mechanic part that you need to work
on as a young quarterback before you get to college
and then grow from there. And then also when you
look at Clemson and my man Bo bloomer, bow it's

(30:19):
gonna love this. When you lose venables, okay, when you
lose your coordinators in college football in effects. I don't
care what nobody's it's going to effect what's going on there.
So I don't think. I think climpson has still got players,
but I also do a thing. When you lose coordinators,
you're just not the same program in the course, DJ
is not deshawn or Trevor Lawrence. Uh. Let me give
a quick update. Washington stayed thirty four, Oregon Twenty nine.

(30:43):
The ducks have the ball. There's two twenty two left
in the game. Clock is running. It's second to two.
They have the ball on their own forty so matter
of fact, they're going to pick up a first down.
Clark's gonna stop while they move the chains to twelve left.
They get a touchdown and they go up by one.
This is still anybody game. Oregon trying to make it
last ditch effort did a great job stopping Washington state.

(31:04):
I believe they missed a Um face mask call on Oregon,
so that put them in fourth down. We'll see if
they're able to go ahead and get the leading now.
I want to say this real quick, Vj Um, and
not that I want to get into the whole changing
of the playoffs from four teams to twelve teams, but
here's a good reason why we're going to twelve teams.

(31:25):
I know people like well, they're not twelve good enough teams.
You know it's gonna be the halves and the have nots.
That's not really the point. Take somebody from Notre Dame
who starts the year Oh and two and almost almost one.
Three could have been one in three. There two and two.
A team like that, when there's twelve teams, still has
a chance to run the table or even maybe get

(31:48):
one more loss and still find their way into the playoffs.
It's not season over two games in, and that's what
we're trying to avoid. We're eight seasons automatically over one
or two games and you see that that's not fair.
When you use your first game because you played somebody
really good, should Oregon say season over because they played Georgia?

(32:09):
Or should they have a chance to rebound? And I
know they've lost, but that's beside the point. Should they
have a chance to rebound and get back on track?
And that's that's what the trolph teams does right now. No, no,
I love that you bought that up and that you
use Oregon as an example, because they're sitting at number fifteen.
But I give you another team, to Utah, Utah went
and lost a tough game at Florida right earlier in
the year. Because this is what's gonna Happen. If you're

(32:29):
gonna Florida, that's good. They lost the Tennessee. But yeah, exactly.
But what's gonna Happen is, and I'm sorry to interrupt,
Oregon just scored on a on a slant. Uh Safety
missed the tackle. Troy Franklin. When they're gonna go up
and take this lead. But but my point really fast, and,
like you said, I don't want to get too deep
into the expansion of Tilet team playoff. But what it
does do is it takes away okay, your season is over,
you know, before September, and what you're gonna start to

(32:52):
have is teams probably actually schedule better opponents early because
maybe that loss doesn't hurt you, but it does prepare
your team for the tough schedule you're gonna have in
your conference. But if you're playing a lot of cupcakes
and and and middle and, you know, middle of the
row colleges and mid majors, you're not gonna be ready
for conference play. So I do like that. Some of
these schools man up and say, okay, fine, we'll play Alabama,

(33:15):
we'll play tech like Alabama taking on the Texas and
Texas like they had to go there and they almost
lost that game this year, but I think it will
be better for it. I think we should have a rule.
If you'RE gonna schedule The cupcakes, and I hate to
call them cupcakes, but it is what it is. If
you lose to a lower school like an APP state,
a Middle Tennessee, you should have no chance of going
through the playoffs. Whats so now either schedule the big

(33:38):
boys or the power of five conferences or stop doing
the easy way out. We've got to punish you when
you lose or play a you know, playing easier team
and it's a tough game, like the Georgia game. We've
got to punish you for that. But if you're gonna
play a good team like Georgia did, uh, you know,
in the first game against Oregon, then we shouldn't punish
Oregon so bad for getting cloud you, especially if Oregon

(34:01):
runs the table through the pack twelve, that means they
would have beaten Utah and they would have beaten USC
and if they go win it and they have one
loss in November, after things given, you have to look
and go yeah, Dude, they're playoff team definitely with twelve.
I'm not sure if they would make four, but they're
definitely one with twelve. And Yeah, they lost way back
in September. September is a long time ago, guys. When

(34:23):
you start talking after thanks giving September, that's three and
a half months ago. Nobody cares about that. So I
agree with you, Arnie. All right, he's VJ Husky, Marty
Spaniard will come back. We'll take a look what's going on.
Lots of games and lots of games about to start,
all coming up next right here on Fox sports radio.
All right, could you think Everybody v Ja Husky, Arnie Spaniard,

(34:44):
right here on Fox sports radio. Oregon has put up
three touchdowns in the last three minutes and fifty seconds
to go up by ten. Of course I have Washington
state plus seven. D J oh they all laugh in misery.
I mean it was a done deal. I was I'm
up by five points, three forty or something after the game,

(35:06):
or you're up by double digits. Game over. You'RE gonna
at least win your bed if you don't win the game.
Now they're down by ten. I need a backdoor cover
with twenty four seconds left, the back door touchdown, I
might Washington stay. I'm good here, man. I took the ducks.
I like, I really like Oregon. I just thought they
got embarrassed against the national defend the national champions. I
like the speed, I like the team and I like

(35:28):
the fact that, you know Christ ball, I didn't want
to be there and you can tell the team quit
on him. You know what I'm saying, and that says
a lot about him, in my opinion, and whether they
believe in you all along, because even if people feil
you're out the door, they'll still play hard for you,
and they didn't play hard for him both Utah Games
last year. They just got embarrassed and you can just
see it. Guys just quit and this year it feels
like that they've been re rejuvenated into me packed hold

(35:48):
football in the west coast. They need Oregon like they
need or you can't just be SC UTAH. Don't count
like on the West Coast. In L A, we don't
care about Utah, even though they're a good team. We
don't care about Utah, but they do care are about
Oregon because a lot of Los Angeles kids go there
to play football, get recruited up there to go play football.
So they need the West Coast in the pact. Well,
for respect and for credibility. When it comes to the playoff.

(36:11):
They need the ducks to be good. So I was
happy to see this. They they pull this out of there.
There we're in today and cover for me. But you,
you definitely need USC UM and, by the way, you
and Colin and everybody else all over USC I just
want you to know the Oregon state the sexy pick
for the upset game of the week. You know that
they're not. They're gonna get handled. Not even going to

(36:32):
be they're gonna get handled. Caleb Williams start to start
to mention that young man in the heisman conversation right now.
That kid is phenomenal. They have weapons, man, look, it
just looks different. He's already got him in the top ten.
This is not a fluke. This is a good football
team with weapons and a coach that's offensive minded, crafty,

(36:52):
knows how to put the certain players on the field
to make you think something, that they're gonna do something different,
and then they hit you just another different he's been
doing this. This is not a surprise that Lincoln Riley
has taken an all American high school quarterback, brought him
into his program and within a year or two he's
got him in that he's got his team in the
top ten. This is Oregon State does not stand a
chance tonight, but it's like, well, what's wrong with you

(37:15):
and the rest of the fans in southern California? Believe me,
I see the crowds at the U C L A game. Um,
USC obviously a lot better. Why does nobody going to
the Games? I know you C L A started late
on the quarter system. I don't. I don't think people
realize that. Yeah, they just started this week, I believe.
I think. Yeah, yes, yes, I know a few people
that go there. They just started classes on like Tuesday

(37:36):
or Wednesday. Maybe they just started classes this past week.
So as far as I mean U C L A,
look the program, the football programs in trouble. Okay, let's
just say the football program U C L as in trouble,
even though they don't have a big win on the
road today, over five huntret yards of total offense and stuff,
and Zach Sharpin, a former Michigan guy from west West
Lake High School out here in West California, at three touchdowns.

(37:58):
You know they got some players, but the program just
don't care about football there. And I thought, Um, I
thought the coach I've got, he's slipping my name right now, Kelly.
I thought he would be doing a much better job there.
But you see, a USC is now the toast of
the town as far as football, college football goes here.
So and people just don't want to go sit out.
It's hot today. Also to Arnie. People just don't want

(38:18):
to go sit in his heat man and the Rose Bowl.
There's other stuff they're doing so cal. I hear that
all the time. There's other stuff to do there because everybody,
because you've grabbed when's the last time you grabbed your
surfboard and went surfing. Now to okay, I don't, I don't,
I don't, I don't, I don't, but I go sit
outside for Brunch. Yes, I sit out. I am a

(38:38):
Brunch Snob when I moved to Los Angeles and I
saw how you guys can eat on piers and restaurants
that overlook beaches and stuff in Malibu and Santa Monica
and hunting. When I go to Brunch, if we have
to sit inside, I'm not happy. I'm that guy. Never
get a couple other scores. How about this one? They're
about to start the second quarter Arkansas, four Texas A

(39:01):
and M Zero A, and I'm playing at home again.
They lose this one, the aggy faithful not will not
be happy after what happened earlier this year. So they
would drop the two and two, but still putting a
time after this one in Arkansas with the fourteen. Nothing
leading this one VJ, and they're moving the ball right
now to let me, let me, let me propose a
question to you. Stay, they go to and to right,

(39:24):
fall out of the top, because they will. They is
they see hot for Jimbo Fisher? Does it start that
you cut on the burner or is he still cool? Um?
I would think it's a little bit hot anytime you
start losing games like that in Arkansass no shouts a slout, sir.
Their top twenty team, but you can't keep losing it
home um the way you are and not have a

(39:44):
good offense and struggle, uh and, and still feel comfortable
in your own skin. You know. Yeah, and also too.
Could it also be the abolitious they hangover? That's a
bad that's a bad lost. That low sit Lloyd car
into retirement. Like think about that. In Michigan one, eight
straight games after that they got back. They got to
I know, I'm sorry. They got blown out by Oregon

(40:04):
the follow weekend, Dinnis Dixon. Then they won eight straight
and they lost the Ohio state game. They were able
to bounce back. They won last week, but it didn't
look really convincing against Miami writing and today they they're
playing a good Arkansas team, but zero a doughnut on
the board in the second quarter. Mall, wow, our one
just flew on by. I'm trying to get the cover.
Washington state with five and the ball at the one

(40:25):
yard line. So I'm trying to get the cover. We'll
come back, we'll get the more college football. And then
we started on the NFL. All next here on Fox
sports radio. Oh that is us. Good evening, everybody. v
Ja Husky, Arney SPANR as. We're broadcasting live from the
tire Iraq dot com studios, TIRE RAC DOT COM. We'll

(40:48):
help you get there. An unmatched selection, fast, free shipping,
Free Road Hazard prediction and over ten thousand recommended installers.
TIRAC DOT COM. The a tire buying should be V
J Husky, Lady Spat, and you're here on Fox sports radio.
By the way, what is the game of the day tomorrow?
Is it Green Bay Tampars at Miami Buffalo? What? What's

(41:10):
the game of the day? It's Miami Buffalo. It's not
even close. Green Bay Tampa. That we've we've done that.
We haven't. We've seen discount, double check and the go
go at it. All right, they played each other the
last two years. So That's not the game tomorrow and
the NFL should have flex this to tomorrow night so
everybody can watch it. They're in love with the bills.
Right there, in love with the bills. The bills are

(41:30):
picked by Vegas. Josh Allen's picked the win M v P.
Everybody Loves Buffalo and Miami just had that history come
back the way that they did, the way that they did,
you know. So yeah, that's the game. Definitely tomorrow. Man
Who has more at steak tomorrow? Miami or Buffalo? MIAMI?
Why do you say that? Because you know, let mean. Well,

(41:50):
the only reason I say this is everybody thinks that
buffalo is just a juggernaut. Yet they were seven and six.
Had to win their last four games to go eleven
and seven. What they were? They were eleven of six
last year. Okay, eleven and six and they win their
last four games to go eleven and six. Wasn't like
they were kicking, but there was only five hundred, one
game above five hundred up to that point. There, you know.

(42:11):
And then they lose a game. was that Jacksonville that
beat him nine to six or nine to six three
or nine to six or something like that? They lost
our culture. So they lost a bad game last year,
I can't remember what it was, in a low scoring game.
But you know, we we talked about this a few
weeks ago. All the buffalo love is off of what
we saw last and what we saw last is, you know,
they almost hung. They hung with Kansas City and almost

(42:32):
beat him there in the division around. But Miami has
the most to lose for a few things. Number one,
if they don't win tomorrow, or they don't put up
some points or you know, it's a bad loss, it's
a sloppy game, it's gonna make last week look like
a fluke and I don't want to hear that come Monday.
I don't want to hear all the shows and all
the TV stuff. I don't want to hear that. So
and then also to it's not. People are still making

(42:53):
excuses why he threw six touchdown passes last week. None
of it was him. It was all just bad defense.
Like he didn't do nothing good last week with any
of his throws. Right. So I still think that they
have the most to lose. If Buffalo Loses, people will
say look, there's a there's twitter is talking right now already.
They have their whole secondaries depleted in this and that.
Zamian Howard's out, we have our our star left tackle.

(43:16):
We the number one free agent left tackles out. So
don't act like we don't have injuries. Also too. So
the the the excuse train is already built in Harni Vj.
After the bills game they go on the road to Cincinnati.
Then perhaps they have the easiest seven or eight games
creak I've ever seen, with at the jets, Minnesota, Pittsburgh,
at Detroit, at Chicago, the browns and then the Texans

(43:39):
at San Francisco. Um, what was that seven or eight
I just mentioned? When every one of those, every one
of them, everyone, every single one of them, think about
it like this, Arnie, Miami wins tomorrow and they go grab,
they go grab the Bengals game and then they go
through that run right there. Let's just say they slip. Okay,
drop one. Miami starts nine and one. You start tending one.

(44:02):
No one called that, no one saw that what I
first I said they could be like in eight and two,
nine on one team, because I thought they were gonna
go two and two in their first four. Well, that's
that and that's a and that's a smart pigure. I
looked at the first five. That's what I did, because
I know I see the bum jet sitting right there.
So I I looked at the first five and saying
we get out of this three and two. Look out

(44:24):
if we get at that first five, three and to
watch out, because this run of teams and we're seeing
Minnesota and some of these games on the row. But
Miami's got offensive firepower. Now that travels with you, man,
so I agree with you. I would love to see
the dolphins start, you know, tending to nine and one,
something like that. That which is shut everybody. But of
course someone with a powerful platform will have some way

(44:45):
to say, well, they played a bunch of bad teams.
They got lucky with Baltimore back in Sept Center. So
you know how that narrative goes. They win tomorrow by
the dolphins and then they start thinking they could win
the division. I know it's far away from from that,
but then they're thinking, okay, we have win in Buffalo
to get the typebreakers. So this is this a game
they probably feel like they gotta win because they're playing
at home. You know what I mean? I know absolutely

(45:06):
remember last year they were in the same place. It
was earlier in the year. Buffalo is coming down, Miami's
looking good and they just get they get embarrassed. They
get embarrassed by the bills at home. So yeah, yeah,
they did. They got bad. They got beat bad by
buffalo at home. Josh just throwing and running over defensive
backs and it just and it looked good at all, man.

(45:27):
So they definitely want to redeem themselves. You know, pro athletes,
they don't forget. Pro Athletes Don't forget the college athletes,
high school athlete, no real athlete forgets when they got
their butt handed to him by a team and they
get a shot at him tomorrow. Man. But, like we
talked earlier, I like the points. I like the dolphins
to win this game. The injuries are there, so take
advantage of it. I don't want to hear about Buffalo.
Second theary so white. Okay, they're not there. What are

(45:48):
we supposed to do? Just run now because you don't
have your defensive back? No, we're gonna throw the Tarika,
we're gonna throw the wattle. Um, what are you expected
in that Tampa Green Bay game? Um, because, you know what,
all of a sudden that game should certainly be right
there fronts and center. I think it's kind of taking
a back seat because of all the Miami Buffalo talk
going on. You know. Yeah, well, not only that, it's

(46:09):
also once again, I think it's something that people have seen.
We don't know what to really make of the offense
yet for Tampa Bay, but we know that defense is stellar.
That's why I think Tampa wins in covers, because Aaron
Rodgers still isn't in tune with his receivers as much
as we have have seen in the past where we're
used to seeing. So I think you get two star quarterbacks,
I think you get a dominant defense from the bucks

(46:30):
and I think Green Bay is gonna have to probably
try to run the football and get the ball out
of Aaron Rodger's hand quickly to his veteran receivers and
be able to move the ball down the field that
way to move it on the bucks. But this Buck's
defense is the next level. Man. This might be the
best other than buffaloes when they're healthy. This might be
the best defense in the NFL. Pittsburgh is up there
to when they're healthy. All right, let's get to what's
going on in some college football. We got a whole

(46:52):
bunch to get to the NFL. We'll go all through
week three. Um, by the way, if you want to
get into twitter at Husky E and t I'm a
stinking genius one. My wildcats losing. Thirty five, twenty four.
They're driving Um, but they just picked up a penalty.
So it's second and sixteen. They're they're down by eleven.

(47:13):
Not Looking real good. They they had a lead and then, Um,
you know, uh, two touchdowns by CAL and this one.
So it's gonna be tough going for my Arizona wildcats
to to come back in this one. There VJ. Yeah, they,
you know, they they've had some issues. They're uh with
their football program man. I Love I'm seven games just

(47:35):
being two and one. I'm happy to be honest with them.
In Arizona State got a lot of they got a
lot of issues down the doubt about that, all right,
the A and m's on the board. Arkansas still leads
fourteen seven. So A and M is gonna go ahead
and say, Hey, we're not going without a fight. They
just scored a touchdown, uh, still before the first half.
About eight minutes left in this one. Their offense is

(47:55):
just future. They've got to do something about that. It
just looks stagnant right now. There, you know. Yeah, uh,
but they got there on the board. Here's the thing.
They're on the board. You're still at home. It's still
a close game. You still have the weapons, you have
the talent there. I just, like I said, I just jumbos.
Just got some some he's got a lot of U
UH answers to some questions for that program and just
the way the teams being run. But also, too, they

(48:17):
don't have a quarterback right now. That's another big thing
to Arnie. They just don't have that game changing quarterback
and in football it's the most important position in all
of football. Even Pop Warner peewee right, even the Snoop
Dogg League, the quarterback is the most important position. They
don't have that guy and it shows that they've already
changed quarterbacks uh this year already. They come away from
King and bench him and they still can't move to

(48:40):
football consistently. So there's there's some issues there that and
people are just focusing on Jimbo. There's issues with the
kids on the field producing like they should be at
the level that they're supposed to be. But also, if
I can tell back to your wildcast, listen, you guys
are too and Oh if you guys could come back,
say yeah, but if you guys come back and get

(49:00):
this win, man, it's it's still, it's still. It's in
the third quarters, about four minutes left. You're only down eleven.
Just keep come on, man, keep your head up over there. Buddy. Yeah,
no confidence right now in the football program Um. But
they they are better this year than they've been in
the last like three years. Alabama, what are you making this?
Still to forty left in the first but Alabama seven,
vanderbilt three. Uh. Look, I thought it was going to

(49:22):
be somewhat of a not close game, but within like
two to three touchdowns. I didn't think it was gonna
be a forty enough point out, like the line said.
How great would this be a fanderbilt that you pulled
off the upisode? But Alabama with the ball, they're driving now.
They're near midfield. But Vanderbilt kind of put up a
good first quarter. Right now. Yeah, they put up a
good first quarter. It is a division. Mean it's a
conference game right there in the same conference. Conference Games.

(49:44):
It's tough, no matter. You know somethings gonna be blow
up and there's some teams that's gonna show up and play.
But Obama will, they'll, they'll write this ship here. Many
this was the second position. I believe with the football.
They have the full right now, bright young is eight
for eight, for one, oh nine and a dude, this
kid is phenomenal. I've been saying it for years. He
he's gonna, if you're talking about somebody's gonna BE NUB
one overall picker number two or three or something like that.

(50:05):
It's him. Just the way he throws the ball, the
way he moves in the pocket. He has all the mechanics.
He doesn't need to work on that. His only slight
is gonna be his size. That's all people are gonna
be able to say about them. But they just got
a long completion, another first down. That there. Alabama, right
the ship. I'm with you. I don't think this is
forty and a half. I think it's like twenty thirty, though. Right.

(50:25):
Ohio state up fourteen, nothing over Wisconsin. Some people thought
this was kind of the sixty upset early. Still six
minutes left. Nobody has that Ohio state offense like they do,
even Georgia, uh and even Alabama. Ohio state might be
the number one team um in the country. They just
can't be voted number one right now with the other
two teams in front of him and shroud right now,
six for six, one tin and a touchdown. So look

(50:47):
at these two quarterbacks, last year's Heisman, Brice Young, a
lot of people's front runner, C J Stroud Man, and
they're just shredding this uh, this Wisconsin. Like I said,
I don't think this defense. I watched both Wisconsin Games,
two or the three, and they're their defense is just putrid.
It's not the defense we're used to seeing. This isn't
the Wisconsin that you and I remember from at least
even three years ago, right. They got to a rose

(51:07):
bowl even three years ago against Oregon and then like Justin,
Herbert just out play him in the fourth courter and
beat them. They're they're beating the Oregon up and down
the field and Justin Herbert just took the game over.
But this isn't that Wisconsin team. They'RE gonna fall to
two into they'll probably lose the penn state, they're gonna
lose the Michigan, they're probably gonna lose the Minnesota. Uh,
I think that's for the AX game up there. So yeah,
I I don't have any faith in I think Alabama

(51:28):
and Ohio State both blow both these teams, at least
by thirty points off the field tonight. If I asked
you to put that a hundred dollars on who the
number one team is, who's the best team in the country,
are you putting it on that Ohio state offense, Alababa,
that Georgia all around package. In their defense, though, did
not look very good against Kent State. Ken State moved
the ball against them all day today. It happens, but

(51:48):
it's all going on. It's going on Georgia. I'm going
with the defending champions until somebody else says so and
so they lose a game, or until somebody else says
so that you know, uh, it wins the championship this year,
which wouldn't make them to defend in amps anymore. Uh,
my money is going on Georgia still today. Sometimes Arnie
teams just get a challenge. Look at Michigan today. I
know Ken State moved the ball. I was I don't

(52:11):
know if I mean I was impressed. If I played
for Ken State, I'm celebrating in the locker room after
the game. I'm not kidding around. I am yeah, and
I get that. But and you know what, though, you
still lost. Still, if you celebrate, you take a more
win cool. Look at the Maryland and Michigan Game. Tager Balloyd,
the younger brother from the to his younger brother. They
moved the ball man, they were able to run the football,
but they got some NFL guys. They got a garden
in the tackle that is raided, both first and second

(52:32):
round pick from the NFL. So they got NFL protection
and blockers up front. They got receivers on the outside.
They got an NFL style running back. So they were
able to move the football. But the cream rises to
the top of the team, and I don't mind team
to get challenged. Like take a challenge. If you blow
guys out, blow guys out all the way to November
and then you get into that tight game, teams tightened
up because it's like, Oh God, we don't know what
to do because we haven't been in this yet. When

(52:54):
you get a little bit of that late September, early October,
it doesn't bother me. Georgia is still won by double digits.
Michigan handle bit as they gave up two garbage touchdowns.
They should have won thirty four to thirteen, but they
gave up to garbage touchdowns in the fourth quarter. I
like to see teams get challenged. The better teams earning
get challenged earlier in the season. D J and Clemson. Um,

(53:14):
Clemson is not better than USC COMESON is up better
than Oklahoma. They're overrated at five, probably barely should be
in the top ten. Should have deserved to lose to
wake forest. I thought wake forest went conservative at the end.
Great Game. UH, double overtime. Clemson very lucky to pull
that game out. That was I was watching that whole game.
Very impressed, especially with the wake forest quarterback. Also, Um

(53:38):
Dj not. I mean you have thretten in something one yards,
but still twenty forty one had five touchdowns. Still there
was something missing. Um just wasn't impressed with this Clemson team.
Forty five points given up by the defense man. That's
gonna be that's a problem. You have to fix that.
That's a leak in defense where you're giving up that
two wake force. I don't care if it was on
the row, I don't care if it was in Winston Salem,

(53:59):
but I don't care where that game it was. You
cannot be a national championship contender giving up forty five
points to wake forest. Okay, this isn't basketball. This is football.
So they hated Chris Paul. Thank you. I was gonna
say Chris Paul. I was gonna say Chris Paul. Yeah,
because I thought, because I thought I thought Tim Duncan
was too easy. So I was gonna say Chris Paul,

(54:19):
Chris peasy. It's not walking through that door. But Um,
I do tip my hit the DJ today. I don't
like the forty one attempts, but hey, three, seventy, five touchdowns.
When when your team calls on you to be the guy,
to be the dude that day, you're supposed to go
be the guy and be the dude. So I'm not.
I can't knock a guy for having a game winning
type performance, top notch, upper echelon type performance, and getting

(54:42):
a road win in his conference. I'm not gonna knock.
I'm gonna tip my hat to Dj today and say
great job. But the defense worries me for Clemson. And
by the way, are you catching grief about going out
for Brunches? ARE PEOPLE COMING? That is kind of a people.
People don't listen. See, this is what I tell you.
By the way, how you going to Brunch on the

(55:02):
Sunday when you got the NFL at ten in the morning.
You know what dot here exactly. But here's the thing.
People don't listen. I didn't say Brunch, I said Brunch outdoors.
You get everybody's got brunch. There's Brunch in cold cities,
but if you're in buffalo you can't have brunch passed
like September outside. You can eat brunch in November outdoors
in Los Angeles with just a light jacket or sweater

(55:25):
on or something. You can still sit outdoors. So that's
what I mean by if you don't have a product
like you, like U C L A, or when there
was no football here, before football got here, and when
the foot rams first came back, they were horrible. No
one's gonna drive in traffic and sitting traffic on figure
rowing the ten and the and the one of the
one on one and all these highways to go watch
a future when I can go to Santa Monica and

(55:46):
I can walk the pair of my kids and watch
guys lift weights at Venice Beach and get caught candy
man and and go hang out on the piers. I
don't have to go to watch a bad football product.
I can go have brunch outdoors and Buffalo, you still
have to day indoors. Yeah, no doubt about that. That's
VJ Husky. You can reach him and tweet them at
Husky E N T. I'm in stinking genius one. Let's

(56:09):
get to the NFL. Were the upsets? Were the close games?
Where the blowouts? We start looking at all the games.
That's coming up next, right here on Fox sports radio. Alright,
football fans, be sure to tune into Fox sports radio's
countdown the kickoff presented by Bet Mgm. It's on Sunday morning,
three hours before kickoff. So that's right. Tune in on

(56:31):
Sunday morning at ten a m eastern as we take
you live all the way to kickoff on Fox sports
radio and the I heart radio APP presented by Bet Mgm.
You a agam where, VJ, you get to get some
few sickles down there on on the games or what? Always, man.
That's why I got Husky bets. I got the Husky
Bets Company brewing over here, man. So I love this stuff.

(56:53):
I love betting on football and basketball. Are you like
before the game? Are you like in game? Better over under? Guy.
What do you what do you like to do? Everything,
not much, not so much in game. Because, yeah, I'm
not so much in game. I like because I like
being able to come back on air and said, Hey,
I told you guys about this game. I told you guys.
Like most people in this industry right, we all like
to be right. We all think we know what, all

(57:14):
know we're talking about. So I like to be that guy.
I write all my picks down, I put them out there.
You and I have shared our picks. Man. I reached
out there thought our good friend here in Fox sports radio,
Bernie out in Vegas. I'll text him are I'll hit
him up on twitter. Hey, who do you like for
this game? And Blah, blah, blah. I ever get stuck.
But I love the pre stuff in game is cool,
but I just haven't gotten there. Let me make my pick.

(57:35):
Let me stick with it now, and I love over under.
Money Line spread straight up. Like everything, I try to
gauge every game differently. I don't go oh, they'll cover,
they won't cover, they'll cover, they I don't do it
that way. Like. I don't like that line. Let me
take the under. On over there. I like the under.
I think two defenses will keep it. Blah, blah, blah.
One of the best times of of my life. I
was young, single. That was about twenty four, mustache, Ponytail,

(58:00):
living in Vegas, Um and working at a network Nice. Yeah,
and I would gamble until I had no money left
in my pocket. That's the way you do it. What
do you what do you what? Are you saving money?
If I lived in Vegas, list, I mean I would.
I would get free buffets if I had no money
to eat. Rob Parker, a colleague of ours here, told

(58:21):
me I should move to Vegas because him and I
were sharing our best picks of the day for about
six seven months last year and I was hitting on
three and Oh, three and o two and one three.
You know, he's a VJ. You need to move to Vegas, man.
I said, you know what, I'm looking for a house
in Henderson because I would really like to move out
there so I can make this a full time thing,
with my sports talk, TV and radio stuff, but being
being a better being a major player in that division. Man,

(58:43):
I like that stuff. You know. You know how we
have producers. Back in the day when I lived in Vegas,
our producers didn't produce our radio show. We'd give them
money and they would go make bets for us. At
the hotels. I remember. I'm not going to mention his name,
but there was one producer. Um, our host gave him
his paid check and said, can you catch the paycheck
for me? Bring me back the money. Well, three hours

(59:06):
go by and the kid finally comes back and you
can tell by the look in his face, Um, that
he didn't have any of the money. But if he
lost it all at the Black Jack, Oh God, the
whole thing at the black tack table. You don't think
that happens? Come on, I thought you were gonna say
that he put it on Games. So he went sat
at the car tables, at the BLACKJACK table. Yeah, why

(59:27):
does that? Does that make it any better if you
lose it at the gambling on a game and at
the Black Jack Table. Well, if it was me, okay,
so I'll use me as an example. If I did that,
be in the way. I love gambling, I love sports.
If he came back, he's like, v Look, man, I
lost your check or what it better not. I hadn't
been gambling like at the at the dice or the cars.
You've been. I've been playing craps. And now he's like no, Vj,

(59:48):
I took the under ownt on the dolphins and then
I'll be like, okay, man, listen, but you should have
called me first, Bro, like why, why did you take
that straight right there there? If you called your first,
you would have said okay, by pay check. And then
I say okay, well, hold up, don't do that one.
I like the way you're thinking with that, with that
Viking is right there. One in eight against the spread
in their last night. Okay, I like that one. But yeah,

(01:00:08):
if you, if you're doing it for that, but you
take my money and go sit at the car table.
We gotta fight. Yeah, he's I'm still in your paycheck.
I'll be back in about yeah, yeah, we gotta fight
tomorrow night. And Chris plink cats when I say this.
But of course Chris Plink, UH number one Oklahoma sooner fan,
does deep broadcast and the sideline reporting. His team down

(01:00:28):
seven nothing. Kids to stay with the ball and they're
about to punch it and again go up to fourteen nothing.
Whenever they lose, I always wonder if he's gonna come in.
He feels like I'm insulting him when I questioned his professionalism,
but he's so crabby. Well, and then when the raiders
lose and I gotta deal with him and Danny G.
I just don't mean I don't even want to come

(01:00:49):
to work when the raiders lose. That's you know what, man,
I ain't gonna lie. I feel for Danny G when
the raiders lose, because you could tell it real against
the raiders. Just because I'm one of those guys my
team can't win, I don't want your team winning. That's
I'm one of those guys. Yeah, I I do. I
do feel for him because you could tell it like,
really like it looks like he got broken up with.

(01:01:09):
It looked like his girl broke up with him, like
he has that type of look. There's a different type
of disappointments for man, when Mike, when the dolphins lose.
If we played the ten a m game in the
dolphins lose, I go take a nap. I'll set the DVR,
the DV are said anyway, to record all the Games.
I go take a nap, I'll watch the stuff later.
I'll stay off social media so it doesn't get ruled
for me. But when Miami loses, I I put my
play the food away, I put everything away, and my wife.

(01:01:31):
But what are you doing? I'M gonna go take a nap.
Are you saiy? Yeah, I'M gonna go to I'm upset.
I don't want to, I don't can't name. You know,
we throw on our show on Sunday if your team,
if you root for a losing team, we throw you
off the show until your team starts winning again. Like Bobo,
used to be our technical director. We threw him off
the show last week, um before, because the cowboys look

(01:01:52):
so bad. He's a cowboy fan, so we may have
to take him back in about a month or show,
but we threw him off the show. I can't have
losers kid. Can't have that kid every prosing. You won't
be taking them back. Cowboys won't make the playoffs. That
was my one of my preseason predictions on vjs on
sports for like conduct is that I I picked the
cowboys not to make the playoffs. I thought they'd be
like nine and eight, or eight or nine. Just don't

(01:02:12):
like the team and I don't like all the injuries
that they came into the season with. I don't think
Zeke's the guy anymore. You lose some guys in free agency,
and was he ever the guy, since he put us
John Hancock on that new contract. Has He ever been
the guy? All right, that's why I've never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever,
gonna pay a running back that type of money. Not Ever,
not early. Definitely not early spent. Here's the thing, Arnie,
this is, this is, this is the caveat. It wasn't early,

(01:02:34):
it wasn't the money, it's the fact that he said,
I'm going to Cobbo. If you want your money, at
least come to at least show up. You can sit out,
you can, you know, hamstring calf. We've seen that growing.
He's not practicing today. That's because they're working on the deal.
You build faith with that, you build faith with your teammates,
you build faith with the organization. Okay, I'll show up,

(01:02:56):
but I'm not practicing. You guys don't want to deal. Agent.
Get it done. He went to and I said, listen,
that that's a meat see and I don't like me guys.
That's a meat thing. And I thought, dude, all he
wants is his money. He's never gonna be. I sat
in this example. That explain, after he got the money,
why he's not any good. You know what? Yes, it does, yes,
it does. He you can watch certain players and I

(01:03:16):
know people say, come on, man, that's a that's a
harsh that's a harsh charge, vj okay. Well, I'm hard sometimes.
You Watch certain guys, watch their demeanor, watch their personality,
watch how they carry and conduct himself. That will tell
you the type of professional athlete they will be. You
can tell guys that are in it, man, for football.
You can tell guys that are in it for the
money and the celebrities. So, and I've taught to plenty

(01:03:36):
of athletes, former and current. So have you and guys
off the air. Tell you the truth and they'll tell you.
Oh yeah, half the locker rooms there for paycheck. They
ain't really there for the love and the passion and
the way. They're there because this is what they do
and this is how they know. Everybody was still one
of the paycheck when he was running. Well, though, wasn't
it not? Or what? Well, well, he got to this,
the team he had, he had the two good years

(01:03:57):
and then he wanted and then he wanted to check
in the game, to check and he's not been the
same running back since because now I got my money.
So now I got my money. So it ain't really
about me giving up my body, giving up my heart,
my soul, my passion for you guys anymore. I got
my bread. Now there's other running backs in history that
got their money and then took off. There's quarterbacks and
receivers that get their money and then take off. There's

(01:04:17):
also guys that get their money and it's like hey, dude,
soon as he got paid, man, you can tell that
dude he's not sold. He's not sold all the way
in of the game of football any real quick as
I know, we got monse coming up. If I if
I sent the cowboys, you get a Mulligan. which would
they take to Ezekiel Elliott contract or the Dark Presscott contract?
I would I hate to say this, because they should

(01:04:38):
have paid him earlier, but that that because that that
contract is what has them in the mess now, not
the Z contract. The Z contract just looks bad because
he's not really producing. Did that contract now doesn't well,
he's not playing, but it also it goes deeper than that.
It doesn't allow you to take care of other guys.
And Jerry said itself. He threw his quarterback under the
bus three weeks ago. He said in a press conference

(01:04:58):
when you pay A and guy that much money, then
you don't have money for other things. that. But if
you gave him the thirties first asking for and you
said no, you let two other quarterbacks getting deals and
it shot his deal up to forty. Twenty nine and
forty is a huge difference in the NFL of signing
other talent. That that's why he had to let them
Marty go. Had to trade a Marty because they couldn't

(01:05:20):
afford to pay him. He's VJ Husky. I'm Marty Spaniard.
You can tweet us at Husky I and t I'm
a stinking genius one. Some NFL teams have got decisions
to make. We're gonna go over that. We'll still get
to the Miami Buffalo Game, as well as week three
of the NFL, all coming up, and first let's see
what's trending. Here comes Monsy Arnie. If you ever need

(01:05:43):
me to go and cash your check, I'm just gonna
pull that out there, like if you need somebody to
assist you, I will happily handle that. Definitely. I'll keep that.
Of course. I'm here for you, here for you. Alright, guys,
right now in our college football actually we have a
tie game. tweet. Number Eight, Kentucky and Northern Illinois. We
were tied at fourteen a piece at halftime. Arkansas and

(01:06:05):
Texas A, and I'm also going at it in Arkansas
is up fourteen and thirteen one minute ago in the
first half. Number two, Alabama, handling Vanderbilt, no problem, twenty
one to three. Twelve minutes to go in the second quarter.
Bryce young already has a hundred and ninety five yards
and three touchdowns for Alabama, and we have twelve minutes
to go in the first half. Ohio state is also

(01:06:29):
handling Wisconsin, no problem, twenty eight to zero. They just
started the second quarter as well. Easy for them. NC
State Handling Yukon Twenty four zero. Halfway through the second quarter.
Kansas State, surprisingly kind of handling number six Oklahoma. Fourteen zero,
five and a half minutes to go in the first quarter.

(01:06:50):
Earlier today we had a lot of a lot of
football already. So we had victories from Texas Tech, who
beat number twenty to Texas, thirty seven, thirty four and overtime.
Middle Tennessee handled twenty five Miami, forty five to thirty one.
Number Eleven. Tennessee held on to beat. Number Twenty, Florida,
of course. Number One, Georgia handled Kent State, but maybe
not handled them enough. Thirty nine to twenty two. Number Seventeen, Baylor,

(01:07:12):
they be Iowa state. Number five, clemson needed two overtimes
to beat number two week four EST, but they did it.
Number Fourteen, Penn State held help Central Michigan to zero
points in the second half and beat them thirty three
to fourteen. Number four, Michigan outscored Maryland thirty twenty seven.
Number twenty four, Pittsburgh dominated Rhad Road Island twenty four.
And Number Sixteen, Ole Miss beat Tulsa thirty five to

(01:07:32):
twenty seven, despite not scoring a single point in the
second half. And Number Fifteen, Oregon was down most of
the game to Washington state, but they managed to score
twenty nine points in the fourth quarter and win forty
four to forty one. Ducks quarterback Bo Nicks through for
four hundred and twenty eight yards and three touchdowns. You
guys are gonna talk a little NFL. I got a

(01:07:52):
little NFL news for you. A little bit. DENVER broncos
coach Nathaniel Hackett has hired a senior assistant, G ry
Rossberg to help him with date, you know, Game Day decisions,
because he's kind of struggling. So he's gonna help him
make Game Day decisions. He retired back in eighteen. He
was the Baltimore Raven Special Teams Coordinator and assistant head coach,

(01:08:12):
and now he's coming back. Rams have placed wide receiver
Van Jefferson on the injured reserve list with the knee injury,
and packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins, he's also gonna miss
at least four games, as he was also placed on
the injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Now all of
this football is making Lebron James Wonder something. Guys, this
is what he just tweeted about an hour ago. Is

(01:08:34):
what he tweeted. Do I have college eligibility if I
went to play another sport besides basketball? How does that work? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I don't know. Yeah, back to you, guys. Um, by
the way, what does that mean? I'm hiring you as

(01:08:56):
special game is. Is that like, uh, your special assistant
to the to the Food King? What does that mean?
You know, I don't like that. Man, this guy, I
actually really do feel for him. He's the first time
head coach right and you know, for whatever your opinion
is in the Seattle game, which was opening Monday night
for the world to see, for whatever your opinion was,

(01:09:18):
it was what it was. I I thought he didn't
he didn't feel he didn't believe in his quarterback. He
didn't believe in Russ. I don't think Russ is in
his prime anymore. I don't have the broncos making the playoffs.
That was one of that was another one of my
predictions in the preseason. I don't have to making the playoffs.
I don't. First Year quarterbacks have garbage. I mean first
year coaches have garbage quarterbacks. I get I get that,
but the point I'm making is this is this feels

(01:09:41):
like like he's been I hate to use this word,
but he's been kind of it's been kind of bullied,
man like he he had to even come back and
go yeah, if I, if I thought of it, if
I had to do it again, we would go for
like no, Dude, you kicked it. It is what it is.
Let's just move on. But when you start backtracking, you
make everybody look right. Who wants to be right about
a decision? Now you're hiring some type of advisor to

(01:10:03):
help you with Game Day stuff. Like, are you kidding me?
Are you a consider decorator or something like somebody you
hire to get your furniture and exactly, exactly, yeah, that's
kind of what it is. No, that's a great analogy, Dude.
You hit that, you know, right on the end. That's
exactly what this is. And No, knock, listen America. No,

(01:10:24):
not to an a teior decorator, but I can decorate
my own house. It's like a stylist. I'm fresh, I
dress good. I don't need a stylus. That's not not
to a stylus. Other people need that. I can go
into a store and pick out a suit and mark
and do some different colors, with the with the with
with the with the handkerchief and the tie and the
socks in the dredge. I can do that. I don't
need you for that. So I don't need an Interior Dick. Right,

(01:10:46):
I'm the head coach. I don't need someone to come
in here and help me with Game Day preparation and decision.
I'm the damn head coach. Wow, he's Jay Husky. I've
already spaid Youre. I'm gonna see how that plays out.
I can't wait. Yeah, that's hey, if you're if you,
if your name is Vj Kauer, who you're starting your

(01:11:06):
quarterback from Pittsburgh there, one and two. Now are you
gonna go with the youngsters? It's that easy of a
decision to make. Or do you say no? You know,
I still think I gotta go with your whisky, and
it's not all that bad. Um. What are you gonna
do in that situation? Or are you just gonna wait
and see? You get in a game? In the game situation,
it should have been pick it from the beginning. I
am a firm believer anytime you have a placeholder and

(01:11:28):
you choose to bring in a quarterback from college that
people think can be a successful NFL quarterback, play him now.
This whole he's not ready. How do we know he's
not ready if he's not out there playing? I don't
I hate that narrative. Well, it's not ready, how do
you know? You're sitting at home or you're at your job,
you're not therapy day. Maybe it's okay. He's not ready

(01:11:50):
to be the starter week one. Why not throw him
in there? What's the difference? You'RE gonna win four or
five games with Mitchell Drabinsky. Right, okay, so you're gonna
win four or five games with with pick it it.
Get what you gotta get out of him. Now. See
what you got now, because you could be in the quarterbacks,
we've states again next year when Bryce and Dj some
of these other college kids come out of Nick's supposed
to be a quarterback rich draft right for the first

(01:12:12):
and second round. So you may be in this again.
At least find out what you have now, Arnie, we've
seen Mitchell Trabinsky, Arnie, we've seen him for six years now.
Come on, let's stop this. Suppose you're winning, and the
reason I bring that up is I bring up somebody
like Cooper Rush, who supposed he goes too and Oh four,
and Oh six, and Oh what does he have to

(01:12:34):
go to to keep the job when Dak Prescott gets
back or that? That's just an impossibility. And that's an
impossibility because we just talked about dex Prescott. But you
just said that. You just said, though, you know, if
you're winning and you don't know what you got there,
why not continue going with the kids? They're paying Dak
Prescott so much day of money is to play exactly
they're paying desk. Listen, Cooper rush is not Dak Prescott.

(01:12:56):
Let's let's stop stop playing with you. But just anybody
out there. Okay, that's got high. Some cowboy fans do
take so. But yeah, he had a great first quarter.
He had a great force Carter to tell me what
the rest of that bengals game look like, right, you
know they had to kind of squeak out of there
and get that dub. That's not a game. You walk
away and you go okay, there's The Dallas Team I
was waiting for. Are You kid and me? Stop playing

(01:13:16):
with me. People. Dak prescotts the quarterback there, but when
you're talking about a rookie, I thought, I thought, I
thought ridders should be starting in Atlanta. Why are you
playing Marcus Mariota? Why? You know where he is already
and if, if that's the case, you should have drafted
somebody else with that pick that can help your team
now and get back into the quarterback sweep stakes next year.

(01:13:37):
But now you're gonna go, oh well, we took ridder
last year, but we sucked in. God, DJ's Rower. Are Are?
You know, the Spencer Rattlers, like somebody's right there. Yeah,
but you'RE gonna go back to back years now. You
can't do that. So you play the rookie. Now. Do
the raiders have a decision to make? We're gonna get
to that also. Some of the other teams will get
you ready for week three and we'll get your caught

(01:13:58):
up on the games coming up next right here on
Fox sports radio. Right, I could you think everybody. Vj
Husky or ony span, your live from the tire Iraq
dot com studios. I love the people over tire Iraq.
By the way, did you see the guys that got
Aaron Judges Sixty home run? They didn't want anything. They
took a couple of bats, jerseys, signed stuff, took pictures. Um, no, no,

(01:14:21):
not me. You can thank you a check. Yeah, can
you Venmo me that? Does venmo take that much money,
because I need something with six digits, high six digits,
maybe seven, before you see that ball back. Vj, listen, man, listen.
Bro Ile'll tell you right now. I'm the type of
Dude I get a milestone something, we gotta talk. I
don't even want to talk tonight. Call Me, have your

(01:14:42):
people call my people, have your people call my people.
I'm walking to my cart and, sir, sir, like on
my arm, like on my arms, like on my arms, sir,
let go of my arm. Try to steal it away. Man, listen,
I'm listen, I'm six, two in a quarter, man, about
two seventy. Right now I'm hitting the gym. Har Come
at me if you want to. Don't play with me,

(01:15:02):
but yes, I'm not taking that's so. And I listen.
I Love Sports, Arnie, but listen, man, I'm taking tickets
and signed this and signed that. Nah, how much, because this,
because this is gonna auction off for millions later, you think.
Thank you, thank you. I got babies at home, Bro,
the Kobe, the Kobe grinches are eleven hunted online. Bro. Okay,

(01:15:23):
we gotta, yeah, we gotta talk and know the bats
and the Glove Ball, man, get out of here. Bro.
Have you calling me on my birthday every year, in
which we happy birthday. Yeah, have your people call my
people and we'll talk and we'll talk about this ball. Well,
let's get cut up. Of the scores. Arkansas, fourteen, Texas
at them, thirteen. They're aout the half. It was fourteen
nothing in the first am with a comeback fourteen, thirteen.

(01:15:45):
This is gonna be a dog fight. This will come
down to the last possession. I can see that, you know. Yeah,
and like I said earlier, a few seconds ago, they'll
write the ship in this game. I just I just
think they have big questions going forward for the whole season.
But this game's at home. Home crowd should give you
a little juice, man, and get you going a little bit.
I think, and I thought they would be there, but
when I would just texting back and forth about the
Kansas State Oklahoma Game, Oklahoma score now, and you know

(01:16:07):
that game is just a touchdown now. So home teams
tonight are starting to kind of settle in a little
bit and the big boy homes teams are just blowing off.
There upon it Um Alabama, twenty one of the three
over vanderbilt. Five minutes left and half in Alabama with
the ball first and go from the Vandy Seven. So
they're about to go up three. It was only a
seven to three when we checked in late in the
first but it's been all Alabama after that. You knew

(01:16:28):
that was gonna happen. To J yeah, all Bryce, young man,
the Jimmy's into Joe Sometimes. It's not about the XS
and oh it is one of the, you know, one
of the oldest analogies and sayings in sports. Sometimes my
guys are just bigger, stronger, faster smarter to your guys this.
Sooner or later it'll show. No, Wisconsin upset today Ohio
state seven. That offense just looks so awesome right now

(01:16:49):
and it's gonna be very tough to stop once we
get into the playoffs. Yeah, well, just as the year
goes along. I think, like I said, I think Ohio
state's a very good football team. They have a lot
of offensive weapons. Uh Cj Shaw. It already ten of twelve, one,
sixty four, two touchdowns already, man, I mean this kid's good. Man,
this kid, he can throw the football. Has got some
receivers out there and it's at home. And once again
Wisconsin's got no defense for them. Man. All Right, my

(01:17:11):
Arizona team is going to lose becuse they just do
an interception. So now I'm very crappy. Right. Chris Plank is,
by the way, Chris Pike's Oklahoma Team. They're losing fourteen
seven are producer Bo Rohde off Oklahoma. When it was fourteen.
Nothing just like all our producers. It's all. It's like
my wife. It's over and well, it's fourteen seven right now.
Kansas state with the ball, but the Oklahoma gets on

(01:17:32):
the board there. Yeah, and the first there man, Oklahoma
gets on the board there. But once again, though, I think,
and I just you know, it texts both of you guys.
I think this game comes down to the wire. Think Oklahoma,
the home crowd, they'll settle in. Their defense will pick
up a little bit here, but I do think that
Oklahoma will settle in and that they should win this game. Texas,
Kansas Station not come in here, it's a norman on
on a Saturday night and be a number six ranked

(01:17:54):
Oklahoma team. It should not happen. Now USC the big
game later on tonight. It's gonna be USC against Oregon stay.
Both teams are perfect three and oh USC is a
six and that point favorite. That's kind of high to
go on the road, but they've got the offense to
do that and and put points on the board. But
this is a good Oregon state team. You know that.
It is a good organ state team and I and
I called an Oregon State cal poly game a few

(01:18:15):
years ago when that program had just got their coach
and they were just bad man like really that you
could tell they were really rebuilding. Now USC has has
some trip ups here. If you remember, I maybe about
twelve years ago, I know. I know a number two
or number three right USA team went up there after
the Pete Carroll years and lost on the last second
field ago. So they've had some trip ups up at core,
ballots on on on at night up there. But I

(01:18:36):
do think this is a different team here. Six and
a half. I think Vegas is pulling in all the suckers.
Look at that over and under. Its seventy and a half. Ye,
seventy one on the over and under. I would I
take the UN there. They know I don't. I just
don't think. Oregon State and, and this is because the
narrative is well, UFC still USC still gotta fix that defense.

(01:18:58):
That's all I've heard the last three weeks. They still
got defensive problem. They still okay. Well, if you get
a turnover here and near, your offense is gonna go
put seven on the board. So Fourteen, nothing turns the twenty.
Four nothing real fast in college football. And I don't
think I've taken the under on definitely on the seventy one,
but I think SC wins and they cover, so they
only gotta win by a touchdown. It's not a lot. No,
it's not a lot. When you have an offense like that,

(01:19:20):
we can riley turned it around, but he did it
quickly because they've had the transfer portal. Without that, I
don't think he turns it around so so quickly. You know. No,
I agree with you. He doesn't. But when you get
fifty nine kids that say, okay, yeah, I'll come to
Los Angeles where? But don't they have to Jael though?
Can they just coming offensive line? Yes, receiving a quarterback, yes, but,
Caleb and Addison, listen, when you're really good and you

(01:19:43):
can leak up with a quarterback, man is you know
how to run a route tree and the quarterback knows
how to throw the route tree. It's not it's not
brain surgery. You've done it before. You're just doing it
with a different guy. But when you're both a talent
and it works kind of seamlessly, a right two hours
over the books. That's a that's a quick two hours
right in the week. Three, when we get back. Bernie
fraddle coming up at twenty past the hour to give

(01:20:05):
us who the best bets of the weekend are so far,
at least for Sunday. So we'll talk to Bernie coming
up at twenty past hour, all here on Fox sports radio.
Oh that is us. Good evening everybody. V J Husky,
Artie Spaniard, we are broadcasting love from the Ti Iraq
Dot Com studios. By the way, TIRAC DOT com, we'll

(01:20:27):
help you get there. An unmatched selection, fast, free shipping,
Free Road Hazard prodection and over ten thousand recommended installers.
That's TIRAC DOT com, the way tire buying should be.
V J Husky, already span your two hours or in
the books the power Ay here. So much to get to.
Bernie frader gonna join us in about twenty past the hour.

(01:20:49):
We'll go out to Vegas and see what Vegas has
to say about week three of the NFL. A lot
of line movements um in some of the Games in
the NFL. So we'll let Bernie explain that to us
on what's going on. Um, big week in three. Just
kind of just backing up to that Pittsburgh game though,
against Cincinnati. That was a must win for Cincinnati Bounce

(01:21:10):
back after the loss they had the week before, Um
and choking that game away to the jets. They had
to go ahead and win that game. You know, yeah,
they do, but they're in trouble though that that team looks.
That team looks a little weird to me, man, it does.
It definitely does not look like the team that went
to the Super Bowl last year. But they had to
get on the late season run, like I think sometimes
we we look at like Buffalo, right. The Buffalo was

(01:21:33):
eleven and six last year. It wasn't like they were
thirteen and four or fourteen and three. They were eleven
and six. So they weren't world beaters through the year.
They had to get on the late season runs. Same
thing happened with Cincinnati. And they always say remember the
numbers are in the favor of a team not making
it back to the playoffs that lose the super bowl
the following year. And that's what they're facing if they

(01:21:53):
start owing three. I know you don't want to say
season over, but it could really be season over if
they start Oh and three, because you know, Um, Cleveland
looks like they want to play some football right and
you know the Ravens are gonna be good and the
rest of the AFC is stacked anyway. And you still
have the dolphins coming up. So if you lose to
the jets and then you got the dolphins coming up,

(01:22:13):
you're you're risking Oh and four. You know what. What
thing with the Browns, though? What happens when Deshaun Watson
Um comes on back? What? What kind of team do
they become when he starts taking control of the team?
I think they I think they become with what you
need him to be. With Deshaun, YOU'RE gonna turn the
hand to Chub and might be the best running backs
look very good in the preseason. No, no, no, but

(01:22:34):
that's Russ though. You can't, I don't care what anybody says.
You cannot, take a year off from football and go
put on cleats and grab a bag of doritos in
the juice box and show up and think that you
can just you can just play ball. You this is
that's why I love this. It's not the same. Not
the same, and you know it as well as I do. Man.
That's why I love this damn sports so much, and
it's because it takes all eleven guys on Offensive Defense,

(01:22:57):
eleven s special teams and then they know fifty three
man roster in the NFL. It takes everybody every Thursday,
Sunday or Monday night to win an NFL game. And
if you were not there for a year, you ain't
been doing it. And you come to a new team,
new staff, new new surroundings, new way to drive to work,
new dry cleaners, right, new, just new people to deal with.
It's a lot. And you're asking a guy who had

(01:23:19):
all that stuff hanging over his head to show up
in the preseason and look good his first preseason. Throw
it like crap. You could tell. Okay, yeah, it's Russ
it's rough. Here's the thing. Say it comes back right
in there. Look like a football player tried to throw
a baseball off the mountain. That's the grand analogy. But
when you think about it, if you look at just

(01:23:39):
the team, like I said, they look like they want
to they want to win some football. Right. If if
I was the SEAN, if I was Cleveland, I might
just use this as a red shirt year. I said
that over the summer's like whatever this spitch is gonna be.
Maybe it's just smart, man. You take a red shirt year,
then I know, oh you'll be all two years. Yeah,
but right now, if he comes back in week thirteen,
he's got four games left. That's that's not enough time

(01:24:00):
to to jail. What if you're rolling? What if you're
eight and three at that time? You know what I'm saying.
What if you're? What if? The way they look, but
who knows? You're you just never right. You just know
you never listen. I don't believe in Jacoby B said.
I think Jako. I'm trying to figure out how he's
even a backup in the NFL. Really. I've watched the
guy for a while and I was like, yeah, Dude,
you're not, you're not. You're definitely not the start of

(01:24:21):
but you could turn it. You can head to that,
you can hand the ball up to that Georgia bulldog
back there who is just ridiculous breaking tackles, the Best
Lowest Center Center gravity, I think, in the NFL right now.
And you run the football and you got some guys
on the outside. You get it too, but it's all
about defense there in Cleveland too. So when they get back,
I think the team you become, to answer your question,
is whatever team that you are at that present time

(01:24:42):
when Deshaun Watson gets back, continue to be that team.
Do not ask him to carry you the last length
of the season to try to make a playoff or
something like that. He's not that. That won't be a
good plan. He's not gonna be able to do that. Now, VJ,
I saw the statistic Um. Every team that started ohing too,
since your twenty twenty has not made the playoffs. We
did start a seventeen game schedule, so that's probably gonna

(01:25:02):
change a little bit mathematically. Is there such thing as
an elimination game in week three? The only reason I
bring that up raiders, O and two, Titans, Oh and two.
Forget that. The titans don't look very good and the
raiders actually look better, but it doesn't really make much,
much of a difference. Both teams coming Ohen too, does
Owen three. Not Either one of those teams out of

(01:25:23):
a playoff front three weeks into the season or one? Yes,
and I think that is probably the most win, the
must the most the most important game of the weekend. Yeah,
as far as must win is concerned, is definitely the
Vegas in the Tennessee game. Both Owen two probably should
be two. Well, not Tennessee, they got white, they got
wiped on Monday night. So they should be one on one.
But the raiders should be two and Oh, the raiders

(01:25:46):
should be even even. The charger game, car throws three
interceptions and he throws and he throws each interception and
something I know, but I'm I'm talking about just in
the midst of the game. They're driving the field, they're
driving to score, they're moving the ball and then he
throws interception. It isn't like he's throwing interceptions on his
own twenty. He's throwing interception and the opponent's territory. You
lose games that way. Same thing happened last week. But

(01:26:08):
the reason why this is must win for both of them.
Once again, if you look at these two divisions, especially
the raiders, we know the charges can be good. We
know the chiefs are gonna be good. You can't fall
down oh in three. And once again the A F
C is stacked. Dolphins, bills, the chiefs, the chargers. You
you can't start the ravens, you can't start owing three.
Whoever loses this game tomorrow, I'll put money on it.

(01:26:31):
They are they are eliminated, not officially, but they are
eliminated from the playoffs, taking a step further. Taking a
step further. If the Raiders go oh and three, this
will be the last year of of Derek Carr Um
in Las Angeles. If the Titans go oh and three,
tannehill might not make it to six games before they

(01:26:51):
make a quarterback change. Right. I don't think they'll make
one with the raiders until the end of the year.
Um Is, should car just call a real estate agent
if they lose this something or what? I have an
over underwhere Brian know that Malik Willis would be the
starting quarterback in Tennessee by week ten, maybe theer than that.
Exactly sooner they lose them all, sooner than that. Also,

(01:27:14):
to talk about running backs that just don't have that
same juice. And I don't think it's the money, but
I think that, I think that, I think that I
don't have him on any fantasy team. I didn't trust
I didn't trust the foot, that foot, injury, injury and
coming back and Tanning Hill. If you just watch the
guy play over his eight years now in the NFL,
all you gotta do with stack the box and just
there the guy to beat you. He will make a

(01:27:34):
thrower two. Ladies and Gentlemen, I get it. You can
pull up a thrower too and tag me on it
on twitter and going, Oh, what about this throw? Yeah,
but I also know five interceptions in the last two
playoff games that he's played. I also know his completion
percentage goes down in November and December. So don't tell
me about these one or two throws. He now you
can see guys, just teams, just crowding the box and say, okay,
beat us there, Henry. If there can't get going, like

(01:27:57):
can't get his motor going, you hit him behind a
lot in the screaming. He's just not as as effective.
So this could be a team blow up. I mean
Rabel could be fired. Maybe ask this if you're O
and three, and I'm talking about the titans, because if
the Raiders go oh and three, um, like I said,
car might as well just get a real estate agent.
Nothing's gonna Happen during the course of the year. But
this will be his last year in Las Vegas. Um,

(01:28:19):
if the titans go ahead and go oh and three
and it sees that it's not going to get any
better and they're out of it, not only do they
make a change a quarterback. Do they say hey, anybody
want Derrick Henry? Can you trade him? Is that a possibility?
Does he have a no trade contract? I bet you
a lot. I bet you the dolphins will line up

(01:28:40):
to pick up somebody like that, Um to make a
playoff push. What do you think? Yeah, well, the big
is he restructured his contract before the season started so
he could become a free agent next year. Oh, I
thought they add. No, no, no, he's a Derrick Henry
can be a free agent nexture. I tweeted, then you
don't really have to trade him. No, exactly, you can't,
but I tweeted about a week and a half ago. Actually, no,

(01:29:02):
I'm sorry, it was doing the Monday night game. I said,
Derrick Henry, it's not the same running back. Guys, I
said that's why he fleeced them into letting him be
a free agent by next year. If I'm the dolphins
this year, yeah, he knows, he knows. He could probably.
He could probably trick at least two or three franchises
and to sign him as a free agent to a
nice size deal next year. But think about it this way.

(01:29:24):
If Tennessee was willing to restructure that deal and let
him be a free agent next year. They can see
that he's not the same back anymore, but they're gonna
continue using him like they did last they don't have
a choice. They don't have a choice. You don't have
a choice. They don't have a choice. They're gonna listen.
I'm gonna be then listen to American sports business is
cruel sometimes. Okay, it's it's sharks. I'm running him into

(01:29:44):
the ground. If I'm the Tennesday, this is my last
year with you. Yeah, Bro, you're gonna tote this thing
called the football. You'RE gonna run, because if not, we
have to let number seventeen throw. Well, you you said
there maybe two or three teams that trick. Yeah, what
about are or Tannehill? Are there two or three teams
that they could trick to? No, no, Tannehill's done. I disagree.

(01:30:05):
I disagree with you. Don Tannehill's done. Tannehill's done. Malik
Willis is gonna take his job. Steve McNair, Lord EST so,
Steve McNair or two point Oh was gonna come back,
gonna come and do some things in Tennessee, especially with trailing.
Burke's is his number one moving forward, the rookie receiver
out of Arkansas. I disagree with you on car, though.
I do not think cars gone from Las Vegas. If
they start owing, I do not think that this will

(01:30:26):
finished the year. But I think no. I think I
because I think Josh mcdaniels feels he can win with
this guy. And if he's done, here, once again, here's
the thing. If he's done, you have to tell me
what your contingency plan is. He's just done. Okay. What
are you doing to do, though? Who You? Who are
you going after? What you what? You'RE gonna draft the
guy that's reset in the franchise and I just don't
think that mcdaniels in the front office would want to

(01:30:48):
do that. Well, YOU'RE gonna continue to lose. He hasn't
been the same quarterback until since that year. He got
hurt and the raiders are making a run at the
playoffs and he was on his way to an and
he was and he was an M v P K.
Today they were talking about him as an M v
P cannab. He just locates his ankle, and not only hey,
how about that man? Remember Carson Wentz there level. What's

(01:31:08):
Philly like? tendant to eleven and two. They're out here
playing the rams and the Coliseum. He's probably the front
runner for uh M v P and he's diving in
the end zone to make a play for his team
and gets his lags crashed on each side by two
rams defenders, tears his a C L and is never
the same quarterback again. It's just we've seen that twice
in the last five six years. Guys on M v

(01:31:28):
P trajectory get hurt late in the year. There's still service,
they're still good quarterbacks, just still well. I don't know
if Carson is good, but I know car is. He
Car Wentz is more serviceable now, but just never the
same player again. But I disagree. I still think that
car will be because think about it. You think the
Vonte came here. You think the Vonte came here to
lose car as his quarterback and you're gonna give him
a rookie. Hell No, no, no, you're right about that.

(01:31:52):
All right. What other game? Let's well, there's a bunch
of other games, but let's go to the Texans and
the bears. Um, the bears. I thought we're gonna be
the worst team in the NFL. What happened on the
way to the one on one record. Yeah, they beat
San Francisco, but they didn't look so good against Green Bay.
Maybe are their has been overrated. Texans look pretty good.
They probably should have been one and one. Um, you

(01:32:12):
shouldn't even have had that tie. But you know, Chicago
there it's still gonna be growing pains this year, you know. Yeah, well,
they haven't done anything to help out justin fields. That's
the problem. They haven't given Justin fields is the real deal.
What we don't know. You gotta put a line in
front of tonight. I get that. I know. I know
your mentality. You're like it's the now, you're talking about

(01:32:33):
the now, but at the end of the day I
still need a guy on the outside that could go
get me a thirty yard catch when he's covered and
or take a slant, a six yard slant and turned
into touchdown. I still need that guy. Montgomery is kind
of all. They have cold commits already heard. So you're
you're high. Your high targets. Heighten is already out because
questions with the offensive line. They held on the Naggy

(01:32:54):
so long. It just set this franchise back even more.
Holding on the NAGGY that long. So I I don't
think you can even throw justin out there and go
it is either real deal. Now, if you just want
to talk raw ability, yes, I love his side. Six, three, five,
big arm. The kid can play the position, but you've
got to put weapons around him. In Chicago just hasn't

(01:33:15):
done that, man. But a good stat for both of
these Games, I mean for this game, for both these teams.
Chicago's tending one straight up in their last eleven games
when they're playing is the favorite. So yeah, yeah, yeah, they're.
They're right now exactly. So if you're taking them on
the straight up then and another one in Houston. I
like there to intend straight up in their last twelve
on a Sunday game when they're playing on the road.

(01:33:36):
So they're at the road to intend. It's a Sunday.
Chicago straight up last eleven playing is the favorite tending one.
Give me. Have you ever been the soldier field? Have
you ever been to know? I don't. I haven't, but
I want to go. I will one day on my
bas on my bucket list. There and Riggley are on
my bucket list. Is Great. I mean I've been the both,
but Rickley Rigley is unbelievable. Are you rubbing it in?
Aren't you know, abbing? Living through a neighborhood, you see

(01:34:00):
like a Taco Bell, you see some restaurants and then
you see, uh, baseball stadium. That's dope. That's dope, man.
What's the Best Stadium you ever mental Harney, real quick,
the best, Best Stadium, the best, Best Game, Best Stadium
you ever walked? Well, I love Dodger Stadium. I always have.
I mean that. That, to me, is my favorite going there.
Mine is the Dean Dome, Carolina Chap Baby, almost fainting.

(01:34:22):
Had to put my hand up on the wall. You
Walk in, man, you're walking down the little hallway right,
you a little quarter to get your seats and then
just all this Carolina blue just starts to open up
and you look up, you see the banners and it's
just had to put my hand on the wall. Man,
almost passed out. All right, he's I was gonna call
you VJ sing. No, he's VJ Husky. I'm party. Oh yeah,

(01:34:42):
of course. So when we get back, Bertie fraddle is
going to stop on by. We got a lot of
not only college spreads to look at. The odds for
the forty niners of the Jimmy G's taken over. Who
Does he like? Tomorrow? A lot of games to take
a look at. All that's covering up. Next, right here
on Fox sports are radio. All right, good, think everybody.
v Ja Husky, Arnie spanning, you're right here on Fox

(01:35:02):
sports radio live from the Tiro Dot com studios. I
want to get to our buddy. He now does two
shows a week. You can check about at eleven o'clock Pacific.
Straight out of VEGANS. It's our Buddy Bernie Fratto. Are
you doing, Bernie? Well, Arnie, VJ. In ten minutes we
have a college football game kicking off. USC's laying six

(01:35:22):
at Oregon State. Here's the significance in that game. There
is more action on that single game here in Las
Vegas than any other game on the NFL slate. You
almost never see what about. Why is that? Exactly? Because,
I know us he is popular to bet on. Do
they think they're? Because the line hasn't changed that much,
has it? Well, it's interesting. The line opened up at

(01:35:44):
five and a half at one book and most of
the books had it around five and a half or six.
In one book somehow made USC minus thirteen. So there's
a little thing called arbitrage where the pros came in
land six on the USC side and grabbing the thirteen
on the Oregon state side. Now that corrected pretty quickly,
but most of the pros I know are on USC
and a lot of the rest of the folks are

(01:36:06):
on or. There's really two way action on this game.
Pretty significant and it's a Saturday night TV game. Here's
the thing. CAN USC keep up their magic? They've turned
they've turned their opponents over ten times this year. They
haven't had a single turnover. They haven't had a fourth down,
they haven't converted yet. Everything's gone their way. But in
their history SC has had difficulties at Corps Pallisa. Will

(01:36:28):
see what happens. One more thing on college, but I
know VJ has a lot to ask but um, what?
What's these schools? I mean, my goodness man, you've got
the Appalachian States of the world's and look what. Look
what happened to Miami today. It's amazing. I could get
rich just bedding the money line on stuff like that. Well,
you could if you can pick your right spots. I
know that James Madison their first year as an FBS team.

(01:36:51):
They were catching seven today at Appalachian State. And when
you consider they had the game against North Carolina where
they scored forty points in the fourth quarter, then the
upset Texas, saying it was a nineteen point dog, then
the Hail Mary last week, the question would can they
emotionally keep getting up for this? And they led twenty
to ten at the half. But if you had James
Madison plus the seven, you covered the actually one right.

(01:37:13):
and You bring up a good point, aren't you, because
you remember last week your Arizona wildcats. They beat North
Dakota state, but they were two and a half point
under done at home against an FCS team. And so
Aaron Torres asked the question was a good question. What
are the history of FCS favorites? Is this happened much? Well,
it turns out since two thousand seven, right around the
time I covered APP state beating Michigan, the FCS teams

(01:37:36):
have been favorite over FPS teams nineteen times. And believe
it or not, the FCS teams are fifteen and four
against the number. So on any given Saturday, yeah, it happens.
You're not wrong. If you can pick your spots, you
can make a lot of money. Wow, I love that,
my man, big burns. Oh Man, that's good. That's always
great talking to you, man. Let's jump to the NFL.

(01:37:57):
In a huge game last week with the Dolphin in
the rave events. Just a simple question. Thirty five four
team at the beginning of the fourth quarter. What what?
What was the odds on that comeback? Like? How Far
fetched was that? On the odds of a team coming
back in the fourth quarter being down that many points?
Fifteen in NFL? Great Question. Well, there was a ninety

(01:38:19):
nine percent probability that Baltimore would win that game and
they were home. When they're up by twenty one. Well,
in twelve years between ten and this year, there had
been seven hundred and eleven occasions were an NFL team
was leading by twenty one points or more in the
fourth quarter, and their record in those situations seven hundred

(01:38:40):
eleven and zero. Was the first time in twelve years
to overcome a twenty one point fourth quarter deficit. Give
it up to two. I think I've always loved the guy.
He had two terrible injuries coming out of college. He's
seventeen and eight. Is a starter. He's got some peeps
around him and frankly, by the way, I think we've
had on this before. Vj N Arnie, stop me if

(01:39:02):
you've heard this before, but one of the biggest trends
since two thousand and ten are home underdogs and if
you just it's been one of the most reliable long
term sides to bet on. If you blindly bet home underdogs,
since you'd be one nineties six and one twenty six
against the spread. One of those games tomorrow happens to
be Miami at home against Buffalo, catching four and a half.

(01:39:26):
I can tell you the pros are on Miami. Buffalo
has four starters out. And here's an oddball situation you've
only seen seven times in the last four years. Buffalo
played a Thursday night game. In one the following eight
played on Monday night game and one now they're back
to playing a regular Sunday game on the road as
a favorite. In that situation. The last four years it's

(01:39:47):
only happened seven times the favorite, Oh and seven against
the spread. But the life begging you to uh take Buffalo,
is it not? As the way they look the first
two games, I would say look, remember in Las Vegas
we're not fortune tell Ers, were not predictors of the future.
We're merely trying to create a line where there's equal
action on both sides. There was a time, many years ago,

(01:40:07):
the book would take a position on a game. Not Now.
I think Buffalo, the numbers about right where it should be.
You've not only got a home dog in September, you've
got a divisional hometok, Buffalo's got four starters down. Be
Very careful of that game. Everybody thought I was nuts
last week when I said, Hey, you want to have
a little fun, you're feeling saucy. Grabbed Dallas at home.
Plus Two points against Cincinnati. There wounded dog. Why is that?

(01:40:30):
Dallas nine and three at home as an underdog in
the last five years. Cincinnati on one, heading on the
road is a favorite. When on one favorites check that.
When a team is on one, it has on the
road to lay up points on the road their second game.
Like nineteen percent against the spreads of Dallas. Win's all right.
So I think. I think the professional side, the sharp side,

(01:40:51):
is on Miami Sunday. Absolutely I'm with you on that, Barne.
I gotta juicy one for you here, man. And when
I said these two teams names. It may not strike
nothing in you, but some of the backstories and the
back numbrous guys like you and I in the sports
betting world and me building Husky Bets, likes to go
on the chiefs and the coats. Now we saw the
colts get shut out and it looked good in the
first week, but they're fourteen and four their last eighteen

(01:41:12):
games against Kansas City. The chiefs seventeen and two in
their last nineteen. In September. Five Points Spread Vegas doesn't
he that says a blowout, not even double digits. Is
there's something here? Is this coats team really bad, or
do you like kind of at fourteen and four in
the last eighteen against Casey, which is mind boggling to me.
Good research by you. A couple of things. You're VJ

(01:41:34):
first of all, the line opened up at six and
a half and everybody grabbed it. Uh with the pros
grabbed it. Then it went to six. It's down to five.
I do not advocate chasing that line, but if you
are holding a ticket, plus six are better, I think
you're in super good shape and you hit on the
key point. Indianapolis was shut out last week NFL home
dogs coming off a shutout loss, and the last fifteen

(01:41:56):
times that's happened in the NFL, thirteen and two against
the spread. I think Indianapolis keeps that game close tomorrow,
and I love me some chiefs. I'm one of the
few people this year that said don't go to sleep
on the chiefs. As long as I got Patrick Mahomes
and Andy Reid. You look at the rest of that
division and lose continuity. You've got a different coach. I'll
see quarterback in Denver, a different coach here in Las Vegas,

(01:42:18):
and you never know what that Klo had is gonna
do in San I almost call him San Diego, you
know what I meant. So I love Kansas City, but
I think that's a dog fight Sunday. Ye, Bertie, how
how could you know? You mentioned how USC is the
most beat game in college. Is it even close to
what the money must be coming in on that Green
Bay TAPPA game or what? Well, there'll be a lot
of money coming on that game as well, obviously because

(01:42:39):
it's The Sunday night game and uh, a lot of
folks really like Green Bay in this game because they've
looked more bum. But I think you're gonna see a
bounce back and you've got to prevent situation. So, as
usually is the case, I think you're gonna see guys
better as the public try to get back, even in
that Sunday night game after maybe a rough weekend. That
always happens on Sunday night and Monday night. But another

(01:43:01):
game that's got a tremendous amount of action. There's a
thing here in Vegas called the look aheadline and every
Wednesday the look aheadline is at the Westgate meeting before
the game. Before week three games are even played, week
four lines are already up. So last week at this time,
before we knew Jimmy Tree Lance was heard, San Francisco
was catching two and a half at Denver with with

(01:43:24):
Jimmy G in the lineup. Now he's worth four points.
That line is San Francisco minus one and a half.
Four more better than tray lands. Is One more better
than tray lance. But the market is telling us, and
so what I think you're gonna see you'll see it.
You've already seen a hell of a lot of action, uh,
in that game. Wow, what's coping above the old tonight Berne? Well,
it's gonna be heavy. Have the NFL and we've got

(01:43:44):
Steve FSIK. Of course I'm gonna give a little rundown
today of college football. There were four unbeaten teams who've
played each other some really, really good battles. We're gonna
have what do we learn from week two that we
can carry into week three? Some of the top performances,
which are the O and two teams that can save
their season. So it'll be pretty heavy NFL tonight. And
one topic I'm gonna tackle because it's on the beout

(01:44:05):
in November. V G N O. You know, this prop
California legal last betting has to do with brick and
mortar casinos, at which there are a lot of them,
traveling casinos ready to open, and the prop seven has
to do with, you know, betting APPs. So that will
be a very hot topic. We'll dive into that quite

(01:44:26):
a bit tonight. By the by the way, VJ is
a Brunch Guy, so brunch on VJ outdoors, outdoors, though
if we have to sit inside, I'm not happy. I'll
go find somewhere else to eat, unless it's in buffalo
in January. And thank you. Thank you, thank you, Bernie
left their seventeen de tray winners. I'm sorry, folks. Good

(01:44:47):
night tonight, Bernie. Everybod straight out of Vegas will come back.
We'll continue looking at the week three of the NFL.
Final check in to see what's trending tonight with Moncy Blos.
What's that months guys? Kansas state has taken the lead
back from number six Oklahoma. Going into halftime they are

(01:45:07):
up twenty four to seven teen. We'll see how that
game ends. Number Twelve, NC states still dominating Yukon. No
surprise there. Thirty one to three, eight minutes to go
in the third quarter. No surprise. At number three, Ohio
state is also handling Wisconsin. Thirty one to seven at halftime,
and another no surprise. Number two, Alabama is just dominating vanderbilt,
thirty one to three early in the third quarter. I

(01:45:29):
mean Bryce Young, three hundred and sixteen yards and four
touchdowns already, and they're still twelve minutes to go in
the third quarter. Now Number Ten, Arkansas and number twenty three,
Texas a and M, have kind of been going back
and forth, but Texas A and M is now up
twenty three to fourteen, about two and a half mints
to go in the third quarter. Number Eight, Kentucky up

(01:45:49):
on Northern Illinois, fourteen early in the fourth quarter. Earlier today,
some of the teams that already one. Number Sixteen, old
Miss Number Twenty four, Pittsburgh, number four, Michigan, number fourteen,
Penn state, number five, Clemson, number seventeen, Baylor. They all
had victories today. Number One, Georgia. They be Kent State,
but it was a little sloppy. They turned over the

(01:46:10):
ball three times, but they still won. Number Eleven, Tennessee.
They beat Number Twenty Florida, thirty eight to thirty three.
Middle Tennessee handled number twenty five, Miami, forty five to
thirty one. Blue Raiders. quarterback chase Cunningham four hundred and
eight yards and three touchdowns in that victory. Texas Tech
beat number twenty two Texas thirty seven thirty four in overtime.
The LONGHORNS had twenty one seconds left in regulation and

(01:46:32):
managed to tie the game with the field goal, but
the red raiders came out victorious in the end. And
Number Fifteen, Oregon. They had to come back when they
were down most of the game to Washington state, but
they managed to score twenty nine points in the fourth
quarter and win forty four to forty one. A Little
Major League Baseball News. Two Time All star and right
handed pitcher Luis Castillo and the Seattle Mariners are in
agreement on a five year, hundred and eight million dollar

(01:46:55):
contract extension. Yeah, that's a little bit of money. I'll
cat she checked to like. If he ever needs me
to cash let me hold it. What does that feel like?
Have you ever watched parks and recreation? They go cash out.
What is it like? A thousand dollars and ones and
they look at it all sad like this is it?
Oh my gosh, imagine a hundred eight million dollars. Unfortunately,

(01:47:19):
Tony Larussa will not return as a manager for the
Chicago White Sox this season. He went underwent some additional
tests and his doctors recommended that he not returned. No
further word on what will happen past this season. Other
NFL news, packers left tackle David Baktari, who's listed as
questionable with that lingering the issue, is expected to play
tomorrow and make a season debut at Tampa Bay. Yeah,

(01:47:42):
and then same thing with ravens running back jk Dobbins.
He's also expected to make his regular season debut against
the Patriots. That guy, he suffered a tour, a C L, L,
C L meniscus and hamstring. To to see him back
will be really, really great. And an NBA news ce
Jim mccollum signed a two year, sixty four million dollar
contract extension with the Pelicans today, so it looks like

(01:48:03):
he's going to hang out there for a couple more years.
You guys were talking about Aaron Judge's home run ball,
that the kid got some bat signs and all that
good stuff. Well, last night Albert foodles hit number six
seven dodger stadium and the guy that caught seven hundred,
unidentified player or a guy, refused to give it to him.

(01:48:24):
He loves the stadium and I want to be like
it squeeze me. Why did you get to listen? Don't
give you whatever you want. Why do you have to
be this guy? This means nothing to you. Already have
the story. You already can tell people. I caught the ball.
Why not give the ball to Albert booles? Because it
doesn't buy a Porsche and it doesn't buy a gold chase.

(01:48:45):
That makes me like judge this guy so much. Why
did you this ball like you're it's stop. You already
get to tell the story. Give the ball to Poles.
That's fine. You know what you could have asked? Give
me a world serious tickets for the next five year.
Asked for something that that you can't attain. But come on,
this is gonna sit on your in your room and what?
People aren't even gonna care. It's not signed, it's not anything.

(01:49:07):
I could lie and say I caught the ball. Check.
I'll take a check. Thank you. I'm upset. Back to you. Yeah,
Monty from Monty is Latina. Yeah, she just wrote her
args out here judging me and thinking I don't know

(01:49:29):
how to speak. Uh. By the way, you have real
quick vj us some news. I want to go through
the Miami Buffalo Game. You got some news on what's
going on with the Buffalo Bills? Was Our buddy Paul
Bills Mafia sent us a text about Jeremy Fowler putting
out the room. Absolutely man like Paul wants some attention,
so let's give us some attention from the big another

(01:49:49):
funny and Mr Stinking Jeez. He said the bill's entires
defense is going to be out tomorrow dolphins wide receivers
are going to kill two rookie cornerback said that maybe it,
but I don't. I don't. It just feels like this
is that they're already played in the excuse seed. Well,
they say safety Jordan went player is gonna be questionable,
not expected to play, and also, and also, uh, Philip Phillips,

(01:50:14):
Michael Michael Hide. That was huge. That just came down
an hour ago. He's done for the year and two
other starters him. So he's done. He's done for the year.
But he also said that he felt like he touched
the nerve with my brunch staying like a sore spot,
as he said. Then I touch a sore spot. We
can have brunch April till October. We'll listen to me, Paul.
We can have brunch from March to November. So we

(01:50:36):
still win here. You still have to say, and I
don't believe you can sit outside in Buffalo in October.
I'm not buying that. It's cold. It gets cold up
there real fast. Let's get the Buffalo Miami. They may
ask it. So we just delusional in this game. Um,
the way buffalos looked the first two games really buffalo
is supposed to be the much better team. If this
game wasn't in Miami, there was a neutral site, buffalo
pubblybe when he were between a Niner, eight to ten

(01:50:59):
point favorite, maybe nine or ten, because you know the
dolphins wouldn't have that home field. They don't have that
big of a home field that it would begin with
like some like Kansas City or something. But are we
delusional thinking that this is gonna be a close game
and it's not gonna be another bills Rop out there
like they did to the to the rams or or whatever? No,
I don't think we're being delusional because, once again, I

(01:51:19):
mean the injuries. Are the injuries, like last week the
Baltimore Ravens had four defensive about four back end guys
out and it showed misscommunication, guys that haven't played together.
Kyle Hamilton's a rookie, out of order. Dame the standing
there looking remember the second bomb by Tarik. The three
ravens guys are like the two yard line looking and
pointing and saying no, you're supposed to be over air,

(01:51:41):
hands up in the air, like where are you? But
that's no excuse. That's not Miami's problem and we can
see that again with Buffalo. I think this could be
a shootout because I don't know if I trust our defense.
Our defense hasn't been so sharp. I'm not sure if
Xavin Howard's out. I heard that he was questionable and
then somebody said, Oh, I think he might be out,
but I haven't looked it up yet and I've come
down with anything as far as is it being positive,

(01:52:02):
but I kind of you also look at too builds
a twelve and one, last thirteen against the A F
C East. So they've been dominant, dominating this division. But
two things from Miami. Ten on, one against the spread
and the last, excuse me, straight up, uh in, the
last eleven, nine and two against the spread and eleven.
So exactly. That's why I loved this four and a
half fire. Whatever site you're on, I loved this from Miami.

(01:52:24):
I think the dolphins win the game. We're not, we're
not getting ahead of ourselves. Bro Tyreek Hill, is he running?
He reverses or anythink in the backfield? Nothing. Yeah, because
I I think they're gonna started. I beture they start
pretty not into the repertoire this weekend or tomorrow, because
they have to find other ways to get him the
ball too, well also to not that they haven't gotten
the ball. But this is what makes Mike mcdaniels so good.

(01:52:46):
He when you when you go back and look at
some of these plays, like the big pass from two
wide of the end zone to Waddle, that waddle turn
and broke up field for like fifty five, sixty yards. Yeah,
that's all scheming because he has a fullback to split out.
So now you gotta take a linebacker way out on
his fullback. You know you're not gonna put a corner
out there, and it's the corner on the fullback. Motion
of them in, most of them back. What does that sea?

(01:53:06):
Now we're nowhere, man. You got a linebacker on waddle, dude,
this is this is this is a win all the way.
linebackers on waddle and Tarika is a win. I don't
think you have to really go to like reverses and
stuff yet, because screens still work. We've only had one
game of deep throws. They still need to work to post.
Kausiki is still ruling the middle of the field, right
here exactly. But but to see his problem is he's

(01:53:27):
not such a great blocker, which exactive way, but you
have to block on the run plays, though. You gotta
be able to do both. Here's the thing. If you,
if I'm the Buffalo Defense and I see him coming in,
I think it's a pass play. If you're only gonna
use them the pass, I think it's a pass place.
So you can't give away and give your hand away
that easy. But I do love the weapons. We haven't
even gotten the running backs going yet. But I think

(01:53:48):
one thing. Mike mcdaniel, there's rumors this playbook has over
five plays, like yeah, yeah, of some creative, creative stuff. Listen,
he's from the Shanahan tree, aren't okay? That family they
know to coach football. Let's not act like they don't.
Look at all the coaches from from Mike Shanahan. Look
at all the coaches that have come off that guy's tree.
These guys know what they're doing. Who Do we like?

(01:54:09):
We'll tell you our picks. That's coming up necks right
here on Fox sports radio. Wow, quick show today, VJ.
Did it just fly on buy or what? My friend,
you know, when you and I get on, man, it's
just so fun. I tell I shot a video here
on my cell phone and I'm like Yo, just for
all my people there. I'm at work, but I'm doing
zero work. I'm not working like I'm at working on

(01:54:30):
a Saturday night. I am at work but I'm not
doing any work at all. I won't pay you for
today's zero you would. Will my man s double make
sure that he makes sure that gets done? But you know,
I love working with you, Bro you know that, man,
I love working with you. But let's get to the picks. Somebody.

(01:54:50):
The Ravens are taking on the Patriots. I think the
Patriots gonna be last place in the N FC. I
think they're in for a five win t five win years.
Baltimore is only a two and a half point favorite,
right right around two and a half the three, which
is kind of a tough number because obviously you know
what that magic number three is. I don't see any
reason why the Ravens don't win this one by fourteen,
going away with the much better team here. Well, two

(01:55:12):
and a half, I'll go ahead and take that. That's
a minus one forty in the money line. I like
the over on the forty four because I think both defenses,
Lamar's Lamar, so Lamar is gonna be able to make
his place. Belichick doesn't have the guys that he's had
in the past to be able to lock him down.
But something else, though, that kind of alerts me about
this game. Baltimore one and seven straight up in their
last eight pages one, five and one in their last
seven against the spread. So I'll take the ravens and

(01:55:35):
I'll take the two and a half on this one
with you. You know, earlier in the show I asked
you is this an elimination game between the raiders and
the Titans, both teams Oh and two. Um, can I
say the same thing for Cincinnati? There, Oh and two.
They go on the road playing the jets, the jets
with a little momentum now. Is this kind of an
elimination game for Cincinnati so that it's a must win
and the jets don't sleep on them with the way
they go class last week Cincinnati, last eleven, one intense

(01:55:58):
straight up against the jets on the road. Take One.
I hate to say this, man, I hate to give
the bum jets some props, but I like the plus six.
I like the Plus Two. Oh five on the money line.
Sits and NATTY's offensive line is still a problem and
they have not been able to put the ball in
the ends on a lot the first two weeks and
I think this continues. Man, this jets teams got a
little Moxie the way they came back last week. I

(01:56:20):
know it's Cleveland, but Cleveland still could have beat them
and win the game. They stuck in there and there's
something to be seting out. Give me the jets, give
me the points here. I like that. Plus Two, oh
five on the money line, though, man, are the Eagles
really that good? They're going on to take out the commanders,
are going to the Washington Philadelphia six and up, part
favorite on the road. Um, people are jumping or breaking
their legs jumping on the BAILLWAGON. Um. What do you

(01:56:41):
think of this game? I like this game for the Eagles.
I think it's gonna be tight, though, so I would
take this one, just being straight up, because I've seen
so many different points spreads on this game. Six and
a half of the last I saw earlier today on draftkings.
So that's what I came down. That's what I wrote down.
Whatever I see at the moment. I put my bed down.
That's what I woke up but I don't think that
they cover. I would just take the eagle straight up.
I think Washington plays tough. The NFC East is a

(01:57:03):
very tough division and they're on the road. Also, something
about the eagles. Did it not feel like Arnie to you?
They should have had like thirty four, thirty five, thirty
six points against Minnesota and they didn't. They kind of
hit it with the still. I know they still won,
but this is but this is what I'm saying. Why
I think this game will be closer because I wanted
to see the offense explode last week and it didn't,
and now you're taking it on the road to a

(01:57:24):
Washington team that's that knows how to play. Some decons
with Ron Rivere. I think the Eagles win, but I
would take it straight up. I would not. I don't
like the six and a half the rams and the cardinals.
Both teams won on what coming into this. The cardinals
might have saved their season with that come from mid
victory last week. Ms, with all that great, how do
you see something like this? I love the cards with
the Plus Three and a half on the plus one
fifty five on the money line. I love Kylin Murray.

(01:57:45):
Look Colin Murray did with superstars do. Okay, he bought
his team back, made every play they needed him to
make and won the game. Now you get a rams
team that struggled against the Falcons last week and then,
you know got there, you know what handed to him
by the builds. And listen, they struggle against the Falcons
after having, you know, the extra time. They had, ten
days to prepare for that game, because they open up
on the Thursday night, and then you play the second
set of the Games on Sunday, ten days later, and

(01:58:07):
you don't look as good as I thought. You should
give me the cards on this one. I want that
three and a half baby and the money line. Tampa
one pick up. I don't know. You tell me what.
The lions take on Green Bay. How could you not love?
I love Tampa and this one. I just don't think
that Green Bay is give me on the road. But
how do you see this? I'm with you too. I
just love Tampa's defense and I think Vegas does to

(01:58:28):
look where it's at right one and a half, a
point and a half. So all they gotta do is win.
You know, it's say Green Bay is the better team. Yeah, well,
that's there. I think they think green baby can look
like the better team. I don't think that Vegas believes
the Green Bay's the better team, because they're not. That
bucks defense, like I said, is the best in the League,
and now you see Sammy Watkins is out. So now
a Rod's lost another receiver and has to trust a

(01:58:50):
young guy tomorrow. Aaron Jones is not gonna run wild
on this defense. I think this is great for the
bucks and at the one and a half cowboys giants.
Cowboys are in the win column with Cooper Rush. How
do they do on the road against the giant? Now
they lose this one. Man. Vegas thinks it's a tight
game too. Maybe they're trying to just sucker and pull
a lot of people in Vega. Dallas didn't surprise, they didn't,
they didn't. They didn't impress me against the Bengals last week.

(01:59:12):
I like the giants here at home. Hey, listen, man,
Brian Dabo, with this giants team, they they're tough, they
play physical on defense. Qua looked like he might have
he researched himself. Give me the giants here with this
point in the mnus one. Alright, thanks to the Crewe
Monster Blos, of course, with the updates for our producer,
Don are, technical director. Of course, thanks to Bernie Fratto.

(01:59:33):
Coming up next, though, Jason Martin and Aaron Torres. They'll
take you for the next four hours. Thanks for my
partner VJ Awser. I'm back tomorrow night, though, with my partner,
southern night partner, Chris Plank, eleven pm eastern time, when
all the Games are done. Enjoy the guys coming up
next here on Fox sports radio.
