(02:36):
plex because we will get t J soon. We got
a lot to get to. It's the divisional round of
the NFL playoffs, and well the forty Niners are one
of to me to really really hot teams coming into
the playoffs right now. I'm I'm excited to see what

(02:58):
they're able to do. What do you see taking place
with Brock Purty? Mr Irrelevant is now all of a
sudden in a very very relevant situation. What are you thinking? Uh?
As he ready for the moment? How does this work out?
You've been there before? How did this work out? Man?
This is my favorite time of the year. Man, it
really is. Uh, you know, going in the playoff weekend

(03:19):
obviously the wild card, and I think the tail behind
these two teams is going to be the quarterback play.
I really do you You look at Gino and what
he's been able to do this year, and everybody had
just pretty much wrote to see how to Seahawks off
after the Russell Wilson left, and you know, six months,
eight months later, Geno Smith has led his team to

(03:40):
the playoffs and in his first Pro Bowl. So with
all that being said, I just really think this whole
fascination of the forty the same Sigo forty nine is
and them making a run and getting into the playoffs
and being the best one of the best teams in
the a F NFC, which they are. But I just
think this whole brock party thing comes to an end today.

(04:02):
I'm all about I'm all about the underdog man. You
know that, and and and and and I just said
that this is gonna come down the quarterback play. The
biggest difference in this game is gonna be a BT
Seattle defense because they just have to confuse him enough
to to get the Sam sety nine is off the

(04:24):
football field on third down. They don't have to sack them,
they don't have to beat him up. But I think
going into the playoffs, your preparation is different because it's
it's only one week, is one game, and you just
gotta draw one good game plan for that for uh
for that day. And I just really think going forward,
the Sam Sea Ford nine is are the best team

(04:46):
in this game. But something is just telling me that
this Geno Smith is not done yet. Clearly the Eagles
are the best team in the NFC. No, I don't
think anybody's gonna beat them moving forward, but but for
this game, they it's gotta confuse him with with coverages
and give him some looks that he hasn't seen. Because
all the pressures on the samis befward and none is

(05:07):
it is to get out of the wild cart and
get out of the first round. And this is a
lot of pressure on them. And it's tough to beat
a divisional opponent three times in a year. It happened
to us when we won the Super Bowl back in
two thousand and seven. Dallas has swept us. We were
owing too, and we ended up playing them in the
in the divisional game in Dallas and we went to

(05:31):
Texas Stadium and beat him. It's just one of those
things where it's tough to beat a divisional opponent three
times in a row. I don't disagree with that um,
and I think that's something great insight, honestly speaking, because
you know you did have success in in the playoffs.
I just wonder, you know the first or the last
time they played was Brock Burdi's first time playing against Seattle,

(05:53):
and that's not too long ago, and he had a
decent game. He threw for two touchdowns, had to seventeen
seventeen for twenty six in the game. I mean, that's
not I popping, but it's not bad. I think the
difference in the game was obviously Christian McCaffrey. He get
carried the ball twenty times, were over a hundred yards uh,
and they were able to limit Seattle on on defense.

(06:16):
I mean three points in the second quarter, three points
in the third quarter, and seven points which would probably
be considered to be kind of garbage time. I don't
know that they were really, you know, surging to win
the game all that much at that point in time
after three three uh three quarters of dominating them plex

(06:36):
So they really if if you think about it, the
familiarity of the two times playing against each other heading
into the third, it's certainly an overall team deal. But
they only got one game against brought Purty to study
and to try to grab tendencies from what it is
that he was able to do. Now, another thing that

(06:59):
should be at Ryan is is Deebo playing in this game?
I mean, are we clear on shore on if he's
healthy enough to play in this game, because I haven't
seen that anywhere he is playing. He's he's up, he's
up for this game. He didn't play in the last game,
all right, keep that in mind. Deebo Samuel did not

(07:20):
play in that last game that brock Purty played in.
You're talking about a team that has a plethora of
of weapons on that team. Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel
and Kittle alone is more than enough for you to
be able to get done what you need to get done.

(07:42):
Then you add Ray Ray Ray has got McLeod has
gotten involved since Deebo was out. You got I you
that is is another dynamic player on this team. Trent
Williams is healthy and back on that offensive line. The
offensive line seems to be good, and their defense is
ready to go. Armstaff, Bosa Warner, all those guys. They're

(08:03):
ready to go plex. I just think that it's gonna
be harder for for it has to be brought pretty
working too hard to mess this up, rather than him
working too hard and and it working. I just really
feel like they're so far ahead of what Seattle is

(08:25):
as a team personnel wise, that definitely the better team. UH.
One thing offensively for the for the Seattle Seahawks is
that d dk Metcalf has to be a factor man.
He has done. He catches only a thousand yards and
that's only ten yards to catch for a guy in
his size and his frame six four, two thirty to

(08:46):
thirty five, whatever the case may be. He needs to
be be around the averaging fifteen and seventeen yards per catch,
not not just over nine of teen yards catch. That
makes no sense. Uh, you know, for for all the
athletic ability that he has, and obviously Tyler Locket. So
they got to find a way to get DK go
on when he is in. It was one of one situation.

(09:07):
They got to give him the rock. Can I can
I give you some some stats on Kenneth Walker and
d K and Tyler Lockett the last party, Yeah, I know,
I know. Uh. Kenneth had twelve carries for forty seven yards. Yeah,

(09:29):
the four last game. Okay, okay, Tyler Lockett had seven
for sixty eight. It's not it's not it's pedestrian. It's not.
That's nothing. That's what you expect from him. He's a
possession of you know, you get him the ball and space.
He was their leading receiver in the game. Your boy

(09:50):
DK Metcalf had fifty five yards for seven catches. That
can't happen today. What that says to me is that
whatever it is that the d fence, the scheme is
that they have dialed up for for the forty or
for for Seattle, it's effective. It's effective. And you know
what I think it is plex it's the pressure. If

(10:13):
you can't get any more yards than that out of
your running game, which we know if Seattle ain't giving
you a running game, then it's gonna be trouble. It's
gonna be trouble because that's their DNA is to be
able to establish the run. They got to be able
to run the ball to slow down this pass rush
because if it's all passed all day. Geno Smith has
had one of the dopest comeback years that a quarterback

(10:35):
of player could have. But not even Gino, what the
season he's having, could stand up to that pass rush.
If they're pinning their ears back and they're just coming
after him. Yeah, if the food and uners making one dimission,
it's gonna be a tough game for them to win.
Seahawks have too many weapons of offensively, they have to
get the ball to Tidele Locke and DK metcalf one
and one on one situations and they're gonna have to

(10:56):
make some plays if they want to flip the fielding
and score some points in this game. Because everybody knows
that the fort Enlands are the better team in this game.
It's not even debatable. But like I said, it's the playoffs.
You draw one great game plan for today, that's all
you need. And you asked me, what's brought party ready

(11:17):
for his first playoff game? I believe he is, But
it's a different intensity, you know, going into this game.
As far as how hard the players are planing. I've
experienced it, and every round that you go, the game
gets faster. So that's what I want to see from
him today if he if he's going to be able
to make those reads and those coverages and deliver the

(11:39):
football accurately. You're listening to up on game that's Plexico
Burst t. J. Hushman's should be joining us soon shortly.
As I mentioned, he's out there in Cincinnati. Yeah, he's
braving the cold, y'all coming up on the other side
of the break. We're gonna bring our guy, James J. J. Jackson.

(11:59):
Then in Straight Backs podcast, wonder whose head he's getting on? Uh?
This week. All right, we're gonna take a quick break
and we will be right back. Stay tuned, all right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
you know, yeah yeah. Welcome back into the up On
Game Show Live from the tyrert dot com studio. T J.

(12:24):
Hutchmons Otta, who will hopefully be you know, joining us soon.
He's trying to get into the building so that he
could holler at us about what's going on and put
people up on game. I got my man stretched arms
strong with yeah, yeah, yeah, let's let me let my
man in. I got mad stretched Plexico Burth with us. Uh.
Draft Kings the sports Book is the the official sports

(12:47):

wild Cards. Excuse me, it's Super wild Card weekend right

(13:11):
all right? Um, not just about to ask you did
you get ahold of what we got going on with
my mad and let's do it. Let's see what JJ
is talking about. Whose head is he on? Let's go.
It's like I'm on your head with James Jackson. You
know what mama said, when you make your bed, you

(13:32):
gotta lie in it, And I don't want to hear
or well, we didn't get it done, or it just
wasn't meant to be this season. From where I said,
the two time reigning m v P didn't shot when
he needed to in a winning get in situation in
Week eight ten. So Aaron Rodgers, I'm on your head man.
That bad man had a bad game, didn't he. Against
the defense that ranks thirty and scoring, the Packers scored

(13:54):
just one touchdown. I guess the defense that ranks thirty
and third down situations, the Packers weren't four for twelve.
I guess the defense that ring and gold to gold
situations the Packers went over for one. And we know
what that is right at Shakey Baby, And I don't
want to discredit what Dan Campbell and the Lions were
doing this season, a team who may have just run

(14:15):
out of time at the end of regular season themselves,
but still this is a team that Aaron Rodgers has
dominated his whole career, and he picks now at home
with the playoffs on the line to fold y'all know
I can't let that slide. I'll give him a little
bit of credit though he did almost pull off a
great run. They had one four straight coming into last week,

(14:36):
a late season and run that we've really only seen
one other time in his career. But this time is
no storybook ending. And actually it's kind of funny because
you know what Rodgers gets to do this time around
R E. L a X Relax because Buddy season is
over and this doesn't just look bad in a a run. Now,
when you drop a game like this, you gotta look

(14:58):
at the head coach as well. I no, I said
the Lions are impressive, but still that's the middle of
the pack team at best, right, And that's ironic that
Lafleur loses to some average jokes. And what really annoys
me is that now that the season is over and
it didn't go their way and they're not going to
the playoffs, that Rogers has things to reevaluate in terms
of his career. And to me, that means whether he

(15:19):
wants to come back and play for Green Bay. And
you know what, it sounds cheesy, but maybe he should
pack it up after that last game, because Aaron, your
legacies in Jeopardy, like that game show you love hosting
so much. I'm on your head mm hmm. I mean
it's accurate, amen, man. The divisional games can get can

(15:44):
get dicey, they can go in and they can go
either way. And you gotta give it a Dan Campbell
because because when the season first saw that, I said
that the Detroit Lions will come in absolutely last in
that division. And Dan Campbell has went to Detroit and
created a new culture amongst the organization and those players,
and he was write that they are not the same

(16:06):
Detroit line. You can have to start putting some respect
on that name. But moving forward with Aaron Rodgers, uh,
I just think it's time for the Jordan, the Jordan's
Love project to begin. It's time he's been there four
or five years now and and and watching Aaron Rodgers
play this year, it's been a very significant drop in

(16:29):
production that everybody can see when he didn't have Davonte
Adams along inside. And Rodgers is a four thousand yard
pastor every year he threw for hundred yards and sixteen
started all sixteen games. And if you look at what
Davante Adams did, like I say, great players, their game travels.

(16:50):
So he went to the Raiders at what a hundred catches,
fifteen hundred yards, fourteen touchdowns and that's all you need
to know. So there might be a reunion between these
two young men. I doubt it then that Derek car
is out of the door. I mean, what's gonna be

(17:10):
your best option moving forward? To you the Raiders? You
gotta win. You got DeVante Adams, who was still the
best will receiving all of football. Hunter win for a Waller,
who I think is the best Titan in football. You
have to have somebody that can get those guys the ball,
and Derek Carr just has not been able to do it.
I don't know what they're gonna do with Josh Jacobs.
I think they should resign him because the season that

(17:31):
he just came off, he's one of the top five
running backs in football. And defensively, uh Chandler Jones and
Match CROSSI who I thought should have been the first
team ball Pro he was not. He made the Pro Bowl.
So for the Raiders moving forward, they have to win
football games. If not, Josh mcdanmes is gonna be out
of there and he'll probably be back in New England
with Matt Patricia and all of those guys that were

(17:52):
there with Tom Brady was playing because the there's gonna
be new for him to go. So for the Raiders,
if you want to him Pete to win the a
f C West Divisional Conference, you have to go get
you a quarterback and there will be nobody better fitting
for this organization and weapons that they have than Aaron Rogers.

(18:16):
I like that. I like that. Let me read something
to you and let me let me ask you something.
You know. I know you played for the Jets. I
like what you're talking about with the Raiders that that
makes a ton of sense. But here's here's a Rod's
current contract. All right, he'll earn a whopping base salary
of one point one uh six five of of a

(18:40):
signing bonus. Alright that or excuse me, that would be
his base salary one one point What is this roster bonus?
All right? Here we go, the signing bonus. It's fifty
eight million point three. That is why he will not
be there. You want to seeing this happen in this

(19:03):
business Over the past twenty twenty three years that I've
been associated with, guys that get these huge contracts. They're
backloaded with roster bonuses and signing bonuses. I want my
money in salary. I don't want to I don't want
to sign in bonus, a roster bonus, because they have
to make a decision if they're the team, if they

(19:25):
want to keeach you roster after after March one or
whatever the date may be. And like, you know what, man,
we're not cutting this dude, no check for the fifty
eight million dollars just for a sign of bonus, for
a roster bonus. That is the reason that he would
not be in Green Bay next season. They're gonna cut
him a check though, because here's his dead cat value,
which is the most important one of them all reasons

(19:59):
why And this is why I made the point before
I started reading off these these stats of what his
money line is. Wood, the owner of the Jets, said
he's ready to fork out a whole lot of money
to bring in a guy that can turn around this team,
who better and and now here now, right now situation

(20:22):
would be in that position to do so outside of
an Aaron Rodgers. And that's a New York market. It
just doesn't fit. It doesn't fit. It just doesn't I
just can't see that happened. I mean, obviously, you know
Woody and you know they've been one of the worst
organizations and and football over the past five years. And

(20:45):
they're trying to turn this thing around. Robertson Law and
they come out to Gate seven and two and basically
you're saying, listen, they're just gonna make the playoffs. All
they gotta win is two or three games out of
and they and they go eight and nine. Mm. And
I just don't see the Aaron Rodgers thing working. Um.

(21:05):
It doesn't fit from every scenario that I that I
look at. Offensively, for him, it doesn't make sense. But
if he wants to continue his legacy and continue to
be elite and be one of the top probably quarterbacks
in football, he he goes to the Raiders. He doesn't

(21:26):
go to the Jet And you think the Raiders would
take that chance with with that type of a trade
with somebody when there's when there's Tom Brady that could
be available, there's Jimmy Garoppolo that would come with far
less value for for you know, getting ahold of him.
You think that they go a rock moving forward for
the Raiders. Aaron Rodgers makes the best sense, But for

(21:49):
the New York Jets, I just it just doesn't fit
for me, because if this style of play, the the
wide receivers, the the players that they have on the edge,
tight ends, and in all those things, it just doesn't
make sense for him to go to if he wants
to compete to win another World championship. If you're Jets,
not huh. If you're Josh McDaniels, or if you're Robbert

(22:12):
Solid and you bring in Aaron Rodgers for the amount
that it's gonna take for y'all to get him in here,
that's what you're done. But I don't think I don't
think the greatest care about the money. The Raiders don't
care about the cheese. They want to win. They don't
care about spending money. They want they listen, they got
they gotta pay for the stadium that they just put up,
the love and they got to get some people in

(22:35):
the stairs. And obviously, if Jimmy garoppolo Aaron Rodgers, they
are clearly a better quarterback choice for the New York
for the New York Jets moving forward. But for him
to go to the Jet to play, I just don't
see it. Okay, Okay, uh, listen, let's let's let's take

(22:56):
a quick break and let's get a trending from Isaac
Low and grown. Yeah, let's let's keep a movement. We'll
talk some Chargers Jaguars. On the other Saturday fellas were
just four hours away from kickoff of the NFL playoffs,
with the San Francisco forty Niners hosting the Seattle Seahawks
in an NFC wild card game. ESPN reports Seahawks defense

(23:18):
event Shelby Harris will play today. I've been listed as
questionable because of a knee injury. Tonight at eight fifteen Eastern.
It's the aforementioned matchup in Jacksonville between the Jaguars and
the Chargers in an a f C wild card game.
Chargers star receiver Mike Williams was ruled out because of
a back injury. The NFL has new overtime rules for

(23:39):
this year's playoffs. Both teams will not get a chance
to have one possession in overtime, even if the first
team to possess the ball scores a touchdown. Previously, if
the first team to possess the ball score a touchdown,
the game would be over without the other team getting
a possession. Finally, in the NBA, the Delta Center is back.

(23:59):
The of the Utah Jazz will once again be known
as the Delta Center starting in July. It was known
as the Delta Center went and opened up in rough
two thousand and six. Since then it was known as
Energy Solutions Arena. Energy Solutions was actually the name of
a nuclear waste disposal company, and it's since been known
as Vivint Smart Home Arena. But starting in July, it

(24:24):
will once again be the Delta Center. Fellas back to you.
All right, that's interesting, and that's great news. I lo.
And you know what else is great? Draft Kings sports Book.
It's the official sports betting partner of the NFL. Download
the Draft Kings Sports Book app today and use code

(24:44):
That's code up on game only at DraftKings Sports Book.
All right, Plex, We always talk about should you play
or not to play? That is the question going into
that last game of the season when teams don't need
the when necessarily should they rest the players, should they

(25:04):
play the players? The Chargers chose to play their players,
and Mike Williams hurt his back and is out for
this game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's pressure. You gotta
believe Brandon Staley has already had pressure on him. Um,

(25:26):
this is a big, big game for him. Uh. I
think it's just as big for him as it is
any other coaches that may be on a hot seat
or warm seat, as as a coach that has made
it into the playoffs. First, do you, from your perspective,
did you feel as though it was the right thing
to do to play the players on week week eighteen?

(25:50):
And what do you feel to take away from Mike
Williams going out with a back injury like it's it overblown? What? Like,
how do you feel about it? I mean, obviously it's
a double ass so you know, for for that decision
to be made for the coach and the players, and
you know, I was in a situation back in two
thousand and seven when the new England Patris came into

(26:11):
Giant Stadium and they were fifteen and oh and we
were not just not going to allow them to go
undefeated without us playing in the game. And we made
an executive decision after weeks for team, after the Buffalo game,
we came in Monday morning and he was like, Yo,
we're playing. We're not gonna let these dudes just come
in here and go and have a perfect season without

(26:33):
us need not even attempting to you know, to to
to to defend our turf and uh moving forward, Mike Williams,
it's a it's a misdiagnosed injury. And they practice all
week and you think that, you know, he has like
some backs, battoms or whatever the case may be, and
then you find out, uh, you know, four d eight

(26:54):
ours before the game start, that he has a fracture
in his back, Like, how do you miss that as
a medical staff? It just seems like to me, lost Angele,
the charges they've been having some problems with with the
medical staff, right, like the treating these players moving forward.
So something that that needs to be looked into. But
if you can't change your your your your position moving

(27:19):
forward in the playoffs and you're playing the game the
next week, it's just one of those things. People want
to play to stay in rhythm. Yeah, yeah, they do.
You want to play as a player and as a
as a staff because you want to keep you guys
in rhythm. You know, you're in a good routine and

(27:39):
all those things you want to you don't want to
take a week off, but then you know the fresher
team it's always quicker and faster. So it's just one
of those things where they got unlucky. They felt they
fell on the wrong side of the fence with making
this decision. And this hurts the Lost Angeles the Charges
offensively because now you only have Keenan Allen out there

(28:01):
to go out and make plays against a defense playing
at home which has been absolutely spectacular in the last
month of playing football, and the Jacksonville jackualls ascending as
a football team and they're very dangerous. And I would
say that if Mike, if Mike Weed was playing in
this game, the Charges would be my choice to win.

(28:23):
But without him and him being absent and not playing,
I think that Jacksonville jackuas win this game. Man, I've
had the Chargers winning, but I definitely have had different
different feelings towards it since since realizing that Mike Williams
won't be in. How much how much pressure does this
put on Brandon Staley because you know, we we know

(28:44):
how he lost last year. Um can he take this
team full of talent further than what he already has.
Does this lead to his dismissal as the coach? That
was a question last year. Now you come into this
season and going into the biggest game of your year,
you're going in without one of your best receivers that
they were to lose, and it was based upon anything

(29:07):
um remotely relatable to Mike Williams not being in the game.
You have to believe that this is some real pressure
that's on on Brandon Stalely's neck right now. I don't
really believe it's a lot of pressure on him because
he's dealt with a lot of injuries. You know this
thought the season Mike uh keenan Allen missed like the

(29:28):
first six seven games of the season. Mike Williams has
not been able to stay healthy from a career standpoint,
and uh Austin actually has has has has been the
main contribute on his offense with He's just been reliable
and and and and his his health. So I don't
believe it's a lot of pressure on Stately to win
this game or to be fired. But it's definitely, you know,

(29:52):
something that you can look at. But from my ownership
standpoint and and for the organization, do you think that
they ley can get Justin Herbert where he needs to
be as far as being elite quarterback. That's what you
have to ask yourself. Is it a good marriage between
them because he's clearly uh an elite talent at the position.
But who other than Stadia can we bring in there

(30:16):
too for Justin Herbert to take that that next step
as being you know, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes you know
left maybe a Sean Page. We don't know what if?
What if that's what it is. If I'm the owner
of the Los Angeles Charges and and Sean Paige wants

(30:38):
to be my head coach, they leave out of here
pieces speaking of l A, speaking of l A coaches.
On the other side of this break, we're gonna talk
Sean McVeigh. Is it shade or was it love that
he showed? I mean he told his coaches that they
could go check out some other egg that they wanted to.

(31:01):
That was before announcing that he was returning. Well will
Brook that conversation on the other side, it is break.
You're listening to up on game. That's uh Plexico bursts,
I'm Lamar Arrington. Uh yeah, We'll take a quick break
we'll be right to act. Hi. This is Jay Glazer,
and you may know me for the world of football

(31:22):
or fighting or even shows like HBO's Ballers. Well you
don't know is for my entire life. I have lived
in something I refer to as the grey depression anxiety.
So now I'm coming out with a new podcast, Unbreakable,
a mental health podcast with Jay Glazer, where each week
when we talk about mental health, I hope to describe it,
give it words. Listen to Unbreakable with Jay Glazer on

(31:43):
the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you
get your podcasts. All right, all right, all right, welcome
back in Big up on Game with t J. Hushman's
outa he's hairs, he's going to us. We got stretched arms, strong,

(32:07):
Plexico birds. He's here. He's been holding it down. I'm
LaVar Arrington and you know what we are in the
tire iraq dot com studio. All right, make sure you
check out tire Rac at tire rac dot com. All Right,
we've been talking a lot of playoffs. We've been talking
a lot of things going on. I would have loved that.

(32:29):
Gotten t J's rebuttals and responses to to Plexico, But
you know what, plex was laying it down, and that's
what we're gonna leave on record. All right, that's that's
in the books. But Sean McVeigh a place where TJ
is very familiar with in the Los Angeles area. Um,
he's returning to the rams UM and I'm sure a

(32:53):
lot of people are happy that he's returning. But the
one question that I would like to get answered from
both of you guys is how should we be interpreting
the fact that not too long before he decided he
was returning, he granted his assistance his coaches the freedom
to go interview for other jobs elsewhere. Now, the quick

(33:17):
part of it for me says that shady as hell
that he's doing. He did that. That shady because if
you're saying go look for another job, that my my
thought immediately is you're leaving and you're giving us the
opportunity to get up out of here. But he didn't
do that. So I'm almost feeling like there had to
have been a conversation with these other coaches and they

(33:38):
had to be on the same page, because I just
don't see McVeigh being that type of dude that's a
shady dude. But what say you, guys to the idea
that he's returning as the coach but gave his other
coaches the opportunity to go interview elsewhere. I mean, for me,
when you look at that, it's simple. He wanted some
coaches to not be on staff, and he didn't want

(33:59):
to them, and he hopes they go find another job.
I mean, what else could it be if the reports
are Sean McVeigh is thinking about stepping down and going
into television, or it could be he really thought he
was gonna leave LaVar, and the television jobs that were
open last year they're no longer open this year. So

(34:23):
it was like, so now maybe I thought I had options.
So I'm telling you guys, hey, it's probably best that
you go find a job because I'm gonna be gone.
Oh those jobs that I thought I had an opportunity
to get are no longer there, and so now I'm
going to come back. Um. Um, that's what I think

(34:44):
it is. Because Sean McVeigh does come across as being
a solid dude. Um operates and with integrity, and so
I couldn't imagine him. If you want somebody going you're
just gonna fire him. I believe he thought he had
television jobs and they just weren't available, and so I'm
gonna come back and coaches almost at He know, when
you look at that division, the Seahawks have their quarterback

(35:08):
and a ton of draft picks. The Cardinals, if they
can get the right head coach, may be better than you.
The forty is for sure better than you. Right now
you're looking up at every team in the division with
no draft picks. Yeah, yeah, okay, oh man. I just
think moving forward for Sean, I think that he thought

(35:30):
that he had a better football team and a product
to put on the football field this year, and moving forward,
I don't believe he wants a coach there anymore. I
don't think it's about the organization firing him and telling
other other coaches. You know, you can go look at
other destinations if you want to be an NFL head coach.
I just really think that he's ready to move on

(35:51):
from that team. And as far as him going to
the TV uh, you know, those that Thursday night Amazon
job that he was looking for and it was made awful.
I believe that's still on the table. But but from
a team standpoint, They just don't have what it takes
to really to compete in that division and and to

(36:13):
and contendue to win the championship anytime soon. And it
just seems like the old Matthew Stafford has has showed
up and came back in true for them, and it's
just you know, they does they doesn't have the team.
He Is it worth it though? Forward doing the game? Hey?
Answer this is is it worth it that they You
would say they sold their future for a super Bowl?

(36:33):
If you're in a RAMS organization for a super Bowl,
would you guys do that? I say yes, because you
got the super Bowl. But now you gotta try to
you gotta weather the storm of getting through that and rebuilding.
I mean, do you build sustainability for no no super
bowls you come close? Or do you mortgage it to

(36:54):
get the super Bowl? And now you stand like, I
want the super Bowl. I want to get the super
Bowl with the consequences of trying to rebuild it. I'm
with you on that. Yeah, it doesn't make it. This
doesn't make sense tense to me. With that defense that
they got, they have to all pro players and Jalen
Ramsey and Aaron and Aaron Donald that they were not
better defensively, So does a disconnect somewhere. Yeah, it just

(37:19):
doesn't make sense to me, you know, coming off of
Super Bowl, how and why they will go out. I
don't know how you feel about this. You know, Ramsey
don't even make the probo this year. He was getting
he was getting smoked. I mean, he was getting beat
deep one on one like he was just you know,
obviously he needs to, you know, readjust himself as a

(37:43):
player and look yourself for him in the middle. Listen,
you gotta go out and perform. You gotta go out
and play. It doesn't matter what you did the year before.
If you want if you want to be a great
plan this league, you gotta continue to evolve and get
better and better every single year. And he didn't do
that this year. We got up on game down, on
game coming up, and now we're to a whole lot
more to get to some playoff games as well. It's

(38:06):
t J. Hushmans at It's Plexico Birds. I'm LaVar Arrington.
This is up on Game hour two. It's coming at
you right after these messages. Fox Sports Radio
