for the Fight Fight weekend, Electricity in the air. I'm
super pumped about it just thinking about it. Man, Thank Davis,
Bryan Garcia, who's gonna do it. We'll break down the fight.
You will break it down. You can observe.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
We're gonna talk about all the observations we've made at
the Win.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
By the way, Win fantastic.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Oh man, stuffing our faces, boozing and schmoozing.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
The rooms are beautiful. The studio is insane. Can I
say something?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
It just goes along with everything that makes sense. This
place is really nice. Something that means what who's here?
Good looking women?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Good looking women.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
It is like just like Rich's neck is sore from
looking around so much. Yeah yeah, you Bobby, the brain, heenan.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
What I get.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
But honestly, the food, the you know, the people watching,
the gaming. Everything's been fantastic at the Wind. In fact,
this weekend, John Mulaney's performing I feel like I want
to go see him, but there's so much going on.
Can't tonight because it's all about the fight. And I think,
for once, I think my assessment's going to be right
because I'm always thinking about my heart and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But I think my heart the actual facts are matching up.
So I'm super pumped to break it down for you.
So many observations, but Pop, can you give everyone your best?
John Mullaney no funny, Yeah, yeah, So John Laney is
so much going on this weekend at when so much
going on that there's a celebrity every time he turned around.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
In fact, our first encounter of the day, right when
we came in. It's amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We started a little later today, but you know what,
I'd never complained because guess who made us wait, the
great Mike Tyson.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
He was cool, He had a whole crowd and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
One of the most intriguing celebrities of all time, the
greatest athletes, the original goat when it came to boxing
for me anyway. Of course, there's Ali and there's other legends,
but Mike Tyson, who was feared more than Mike Tyson.
He was the definition of invincible. I mean, growing up.
He's an icon.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, there's a whole separate part of the population that
knows him as Mike Tyson, like the character you know,
wedding crashers, not wedding crashers.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Uh, sego hangover. I think I got a hangover. I
think you have one. Yeah, that was his comeback.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
And now, of course I got this bag of goodies,
all of his goodies and his treats and everything else
he does on the side and his podcast. So he
was doing his podcast before we came into the Blue
Wires studios today, so we're just sitting watching it off.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Yeah, he was hot boxing and in case you're wondering,
the mic that he was on is the mic I'm
talking into right now. Really, I don't know if you
saw that KD movie with the Kid.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
It was like mid like twenty ten, twenty twelve.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Remember thunder What was it Thunderstruck where KD passed his
powers onto the little kid.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
So you got the Tysons will be knocking fools out
after this show.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
But let me tell you his you know, his style
is impetuous.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Look at you.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
You know his people drop off this bag for me. Okay,
tysonpro dot Com.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You know why.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I got too rich. I'm the guy who loves You're
gonna have to take these from me. All right, here's
what's so again. We walked into the Blue Wires studios
today and all of Mike's team, his whole team, all
his crew, everybody from you know, his company, they're all here,
and all his fans are here. But everyone's super cool
with us, and you know, we're just making our connects
and networking and talking about Mike, Tyson and everything. We

(03:33):
were telling them how we do Tyson Trivia Iron Mike
Trivia every Tuesday on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
And they love that. They're big fans.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
And somehow Rich talks to a guy and his guy's like,
oh man, and he gives Rich a whole duffel bag.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I got Tyson gloves and he goes give these away
for Tyson trivia.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I said, you want say no, they're not for you.
Ye giveaways ways to my uncle Joe. Oh wow, pads
and training fit. Wait, hold on, there's a gummy ear.
Come on in.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
A bonus like this podcast?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Eat this.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Those are the holy ears? How do you know what
it is? Those are the holy But what it might like?
What is? What is it looks like inedible to me,
but it.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Might be just a regular gummy. Bet am I okay
to do this, Dandergy producer.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Yeah, you're okay.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
I'm just gonna we're just gonna eat it, just gonna
Mike Tyson could have had that like it is underwear
or something from you know nothing about where that was,
what it is, where it came from. That one came
from my crotum. Fact, I found it this morning.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
And then if guy's got it in his mouth, well,
let me tell you's delicious, said watermelon.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
So you don't care if it's gonna be extra strong
or anything.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
You're just gonna take it, okay.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
In trouble and if I am gonna get in trouble
theater of the mine, guys, it's a regular guy. This
is a very special Saturday exclusive podcast.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
So right, No, and that's the thing the FCC does
not patrol podcasts.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Yeah, so this is what you want.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, so wait a second, So America is second guessing
that right now, what Rich is doing.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Let me see this stuffle bag of goodies, you guys. Wow,
so goodies.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
That was a ten milligram one to one THHC CBD.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
There's one more over there feel nice.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Is what you're saying there. How long does that take
to kick in? Usually? I guess we'll see, really, I
guess we'll find out.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Wow, Like I'm just seeing if there's anything else in here,
some straps, some paths, other boxing gloves. So Tyson, Trivia
Iron Mike, Tuesday's gonna get even better now, we got
to get away even better because we got better exclusive
from the man himself, giveaways.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
CNR, NERD football and a boxing glove for Mike.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Oh all right, so more on Tuesday, and write this
number down so you could play along. Eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox Again. We're Cavino and Rich broadcasting
in Vegas. We're here for the fight. Of course there's
some great basketball.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
So what.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I already got a text by the way from Mike
Angel from Tyson team, and he's like, love you guys,
Hope you enjoy the goodies and there's more to come.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh well, if you feel anything as the show goes on,
be sure to let us know. I don't know what
you're talking about, because he just had a mic by
a holy ear.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
It's Sativa. Oh nice, I.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Shared with somebody in the front of the crowd here too, So.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Yeah, wait, okay, so if you see medics, nobody I
tell you it's so surreal to you know, be there,
especially when we talk so much. Mike Tyson on our show,
he's larger than life, a childhood hero, and then he's
very just laid back.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
He was in laid back mode.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
He's got to be exhausted because everywhere he goes, everybody
wants a selfie, everybody wants a picture, an autograph, or
his commentary on the fight this weekend.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
So he's making his rounds.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
I have a question about the commentary, but spot, I
know you're taking some video and pictures. I did, yes
at Covin and Rich if you guys want to play along.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Mike gave me honestly, sounds so corny. He gave me
like a nice gentle hug.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
He's like, thanks so much, bringing it, bring it in,
bringing it real tight, real snug.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Rich.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
It fooled me too, because I thought he was going
to give like a strong handshake, and he gave like
a light handshake.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Did are you saying mashed helmets with? Mike Tyson gave
a nice, a nice soft gentle like I want to
I want to squeeze you bringing in real low real.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
It was more like a right you know when you
had a really nice, you really nice dinner with a
friends and you're like, hey, it was really nice catching
up and you give.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Him like a little nice bro hug. You're with your
name Rich Rich. They bring it in again real low
in that bag. Well listen, you know what, and I
appreciate that. President.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
In fact, i'd like to think that moving forward now,
Danny g based on our new friends at Tyson's company, Yeah, no,
this is great Tyson Pro dot Com. I think that
we're going to have goodies everything from Onlyfield ears and
boxing gloves to give away.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
So fantastic. So again more reason to check us out,
Cauvino Rich. So that just happened right now, like minutes
before we got on the air. So here's the scene.
It's Vegas. It's always fun, it's always electric. But you
got some boxing, not just any fight, a current classic tonight,
Garcia Davis, you got UFC, you got some charity golf

(08:20):
tournament that's going on.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
We're gonna we're.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Gonna get to that because I think that's the reason
why there's a million celebrities out and about However, I
have to ask you if I saw you bite your tongue,
because we're in the green room. Our pal Jeremiah, who
runs this place, couldn't be more hospitable.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Oh yeah, And all.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Tyson's people are there, and I know that you think
Ryan Garcia is gonna win.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
I do.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
And they were all like, yo, thanks God him, thanks
got and you like, well, you know what, you backed
away like the bush is Tyson.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I'm not trying.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
You know you aren't gonna even challenge. You don't even challenge.
I can serve my energy for this right now. You
know I'm not trying to get into some barbershop debate
for no reason.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
You didn't get the sense of Cavino didn't want to
interject his Ryan Garcia love.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Everybody's entitled their wrong opinions. It's all good plus thir
teen Tyson. And that's what Mike said. You know, Mike
has now said Gervonte Davis, I believe in round five,
but he has a whole theory that I could get behind.
Do you want to hear his theory? I do want
to hear his theory, but I do want to say
that you have to at least admit that I respect
for Iron Mike, you bit your tongue anyre because.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
They were all like, yeah, Davis, I mean was Davis
and you were like.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I think that, I mean, I respect your observation, But
I didn't feel that like at all.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
I was just like listening.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Sometimes you listen and then other times you're just such
a natural born but in skid that you feel like
every opportunity is your is your opportunity to interject.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Like I didn't even think about it.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Maybe that's just like, man, there's like people here hanging out.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I wasn't trying to debate. Maybe I just don't know
how to shut up, so I want to inject it.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
You may be right, I may be crazy. But I
didn't even think about that until right now. So I
wasn't like, oh man, I wish I could really get
into it right. It wasn't even thinking we wanted more
passion from you.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
You didn't bring it up passion.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
Because it's it's funny because we were sitting at breakfast, no,
no more than an hour ago, and you were talking about.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Records.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Oh yeah, a bunch of guys and I don't know
I'm supposed to like tell them like my stupid opinions
for what?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
For what reason? What you do?

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Well, I will say this, that's what I'm doing right
now to do that.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
There's a time and place.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
In Coveno's defense, they had just given us a duffel
bag of freebies, and.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
Yeah, so I.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Didn't expect Covino at that point to be like, you guys.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Don't know.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Of it.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
It brings up a bigger question. Everybody's got their opinion.
Trust me, I'm not going to get into politics. But
if you are with mixed company and friends and people
my business. If let's say you're at a family barbecue,
someone's uncle starts talking about politics or like their favorite
sports team.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Were like they might.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
What if they tell you your favorite player is like
a bum, but they don't know that's your favorite player.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Do you just bite your tongue and carry on or
are you a lot of speaking out there speaking to me?
No one was speaking to me and asking me my opinion.
I'll give my opinion when asked. People were just having discussions.
If someone came up to me like, you know what
think's a bum? Aaron Judge, I'm like, you know what
you could think that I happen to like him, and
it could it could be about a celebrity, an athlete,

(11:25):
it could be about a person that I know, you know, hey,
I know he you know, doesn't vibe with you, but
I like him. Let's say, these guys think you're being
disingenuously if you see the if you have the opportunity
to say something nice about somebody or you know, let
them know that you root for them, and you don't.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
I think I find that to be odd. Let's know
what happened.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Let's say you were talking to let's say we're all
hanging with the Tyson Crow, and they were like, yeah,
that guy's overrated. I haven't seen an overrated athlete like
that since Jeter. Would you have been able to resist?
Am I part of the conversation. I don't long jump
into people's conversation.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
That again, Rich is on an edible and he already
had cocktails and it's early here in love.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Now you're going to make me look bad. Rich. We
went from bad those drinks, which is fine because it's
Vegas and you're here to have fun. You know, this
guy's fight. He's trying to throw me under the bus.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Under the bus. You had a drink and that's not
a bad thing. I just didn't yet a coffee.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Now the boss is gonna be like, where is rich doing?
Where did you slipping time for a drink at the
restress the brook I went to. We were com for
like five minutes. I went to the sports book. Maybe
I should stay this city. But it's all good. Geez. Look,
that's what you're supposed to do in Las Vegas.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Throw yourself. If people are talking about the fight. I mean,
everybody's talking about the fight. I'm supposed to interject my
opinion every time?

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Should I be?

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Every time Stephen A. Smith says is Tank David? I'm
supposed to tweet him back to hey, man, you're wrong
about that. Everybody has their opinion. Well, listen, we don't
know anything until it happens tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
By the time a lot of people may listen to
this bonus podcast Covin on Rich on Fox Sports Radio,
the fight will probably have already happened unless you're listening
on Saturday The Law. The most of the Tyson crew
was saying Tank Davis knockout, and they were saying round five,
six or seven.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
They said, if you want to do the you want
to better your odds, maybe do Tank Davis KO five
six or seven. Now you're saying Ryan Garcia, if he's
gonna win, you're saying again to Key.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Even go the distance. No, I didn't say early nothing.
He said he might get the better of Javonte Davis Early.
I think exactly here.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
All right, you want my assessment before we get into
all our celebrity encounters.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
We didn't get it when Tyson's guys were here, so
let me get it now.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Well, because there's a time in place. Dude, we're on
the radio. Now we're on the air.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I got over there. I was just you know, taking
it all in, hanging out like a normal person. I
look at it this way. I've watched all these guys fight.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
And when I say all these guys, I mean all
these young one thirty five pounders.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
It's a great division, great division.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Everyone from the Devin Haines to the Stevenson's to the
Loma Chainkos and again Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis tonight.
I watched them all. I love them all, and they're
all great in their own way. But Tank Davis is
a guy who used starts sloan. He's trying to figure
you out he's trying to figure out hit you with
that one knockout punch, trying to figure you out, and
he's again just waiting and figuring it out.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Ryan Garcia, He's too quick.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
You can't be wasting time and waiting around and trying
to figure it out. I think when tanks, they're trying
to assess the situation, waiting for that CounterPunch, waiting to
figure him out. Ryan Garcia would have hit him, you know,
a hundred times already. So I think he's gonna work
him early, win the early rounds. If he catches him
with that left hook, that's the key. If he catch
him with the left hook, he could knock out Tank

(14:33):
Davis if you're saying he's still trying to figure him out.
But I think it'll go to this thing. If you're
saying Tank David, it'll be Edged Garcia because he's.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
The guy throwing more punches. So that's what I was
going to get at.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
So you're saying if Tank Davis takes a while to
sort of not warm up to really assess, yeah, because
he's low for that doesn't knockout Ryan Garcia. You think
Ryan Garcia just may win the early rounds. And win
the fight.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Buh bam, and Mike Tyson's theory was again maybe a
knockout in the fifth from Tank Davis, but his theory
was based on his own.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
His own history.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
He's like the the thworder, the shorter punch er man.
He's like a lot of times that would catapult to
the taller boxer. I would catapult and get extra power
with the weight of my body from the catapult, and
I would knock out the bigger man. And I think
Tank David he gets their time. He he did his
body weight for the catapult. He does the same sort

(15:27):
of thing. So he sees Tank Davis using his height
disadvantage to his advantage. Tank Davis is five foot five.
He's a little dude. You know, there's a lot of power.
So five foot five versus five foot ten and a half.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
You know who does the catapult When you say.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
It that way, I know little Mac on Mike Tyson's
punch out little Yes, Is that what you're speaking of,
Mike Tyson, I was thinking punch out? How remember you
would do the power thing where little Mac would have
to start by Yeah, So I mean maybe he's pulling
a page out of his own video game. Yes, and
Little Max style though again, Davis and you're coming up,

(16:04):
You're coming up, you know the If Garcia's chin's exposed,
you're coming up. Plus Tank Davis works the body. Maybe
him being smaller, that pit bull style, that aggressive pit
bull sort of style that Mike Tyson had thoughtly could
work in his or to his advantage. I'm still saying
team Garcia.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Now.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
There's two reasons. I like him. He's my guy. Oh,
my guy. You know he's my guy.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
My guy bought those locals forever, right, he's my guy California.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I like him.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
I like his his unassuming nature. He's a good looking kid.
People take him lightly, but he's a badass, right, and
he's talking a lot of smack. I want to see
him deliver on that. So I'm thinking with my heart
because I like the kid. But I also think he
has the skills to pull this off. So I'm thinking
it might go the distance. Garcia gets the early rounds,
That's why he wins.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Would it be a wise man's bet because you get
you know, sometimes never made it as a wise man.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
I haven't made it, ass man. I know you're huge
Nickelback fan. I am huge.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
I think I may bet, and the bet would almost
be hedging myself. What if you bet Davis knockout five
six ers round seven, but then also make another side
bet Garcia by decision, so you're sort of covering all grounds.
I mean, you might not win as much, but what

(17:25):
if you did, like, all right, thank Davis, I'll do
rounds five or six knockout, and then if he doesn't
knock him out by those mid rounds, then you're Garcia
going the distance.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Bet might come in handy.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I was thinking Garcia with the wind and the Lakers
with the wind tonight.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Al yeah, just do a little parlay. You never gamble,
you're doing it. I don't know. Maybe I'll do a
little something something.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
You're in Vegas where Fox Sports and the win we're
kind enough to pick up like everything. You can't bet
one hundred bucks on the Lakers and Ryan Garcia.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Maybe put your money with your mouth. If I lose,
why do you give it a shot? So that's my assessment.
Please leave yours again at Covino Enrich.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
I've been wrong many times because I let my heart
get in the way, because I really root for a
lot of these guys.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
And that's what I wonder because I know that you're
the big boxing guy at Fox Sports Radio. And every
weekend I'll say, every weekend, well, we're watching you know,
Love is Blind and other dumb.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
Shows and is a strong word.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, I'll take it while we're watching you know, baseball
or basketball. Cavino zoned it every Saturday night fights and
he always says, what's the same thing, dangye, this is
the year, the year this could be until Errol Spence
and Crawford and no Erol Spencer Crawford picks it up.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Yeah, and then of course Devin Haney and Lomachenko. Lots
of big fights coming out. But but I but I
do ask you see a Femo Taylor one forty every weekend.
When you do talk about these fights, you do lean
with your heart, which is why you might not gamble. Yeah,
I remember there was one of my favorite moments of
Cavino doesn't gamble one time, Danny J I remember Cavino gambling.
He bet on Ricky, he bet on Ricky hatton you

(19:01):
know what, because there was only one Ricky Hat and
just what Ricky Hat and my ex was from England.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
So I got caught up in the whole.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
This dude Cavino, who doesn't even bet fifty bucks or
twenty bucks. Cavino, I must have felt bold, must have
been drunk.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
He bet five hundred bucks on Ricky Hatton to beat
Floyd Maywebt. Just buying into it, man, I was just
buying into it. Looking back, I was pathetic, but I
was like, you know what, if I win, this would
be great.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
You know.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
I think the Money team was just getting under my
skin that week, and that was a long time ago.
So maybe I'll redeem myself tonight. So again, I can't
explain how surreal it is to be face to face
with Mike Tyson and also to hold back that I
do an impression of Mike Tyson.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Right because he's like, hey, Covino, you want to be like,
I don't want to be mad.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
You could get two versions of Mike. You could get
like really subdue, Like yeah, that kind of funny.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
I wouldn't call you a boxing expert, that was the
strong word, but I would call you the best Tyson
impersonation I've ever heard you, yeah, on.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
Radio or TV. So here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
It's like the Spider Man meme, but Coveno as soon
as we were in the room with Mike Covino was like, Yeah,
I don't think I'm gonna do my impersonation no.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Way, because you could get that aggressive. You know, I'll
eat your children by Tyson.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
So I don't want to get in, you know, in
his way and piss him off. But he was very
gracious and it was cool to say hello and shake
his hand and bring it in. I didn't mesh helmets
like rich did, but it was always and he didn't
leave you any treats, and it's been heavy any treats.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
But it was nice to see him.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Always nice to see him because we've interviewed him and
hung out with him before. But he's not the only
guy we saw this weekend. We've been to Vegas a bunch.
That's not a brag, it's just a truth.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
For work through Serious XM or Fox Sports or ESPN,
everywhere we've worked, we've always found our way to Las Vegas.
But I promise you I have never seen the amount
of celebrity presence that I've seen in.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
The last twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
And I think they're gonna be at the fight. He's
a major event. I know to here for a bunch
of different things.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
There's a big golf charity thing, I think, but we saw.
Can you name some of the people we see?

Speaker 1 (21:05):
I haven't listed out, and I want to know, like
you know, your your observations and what you think about
these encounters. People watching booty watching booty patrol is what
Rich calls it.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
I'm on booty patrol.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
People watching here at the win is next level because
win it attracts attractive people.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
You know what it's like on people like celebrities, like
cruise liners. I'm going to insult a lot of people
right now, so I don't prepare. You know how, depending
on the cruise or the hotel you stay at, the
clientele speaks for itself. Like if you go on like
a Royal Caribbean or Norwegian cruise line it you're gonna
have a nice clientele.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
You know who's there, George Brent, Yeah, Royal Career.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
You please edit that bad joke podcast.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
You when you go on let's say, when you see
like Carnival cruise two hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
For a week, who do you think you're cruising with?
Right now? You go to Fremont Street, Yeah, it's a
fun time. But it's a bunch of mutants.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
You go to the Wind, it's a bunch of ballers
and a bunch of beautiful women and a bunch of celebrities,
and it's just a different vibe.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
And we're sitting here and I'm like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Buye my Jeremiah, who runs this place, the Blue Wires Studios,
he says, wait until the summertime. He says, in the summertime,
it's next level. Yeah, so you know, you never know
where's Carrot Top female said.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
Jeremiah said that females were flashing Carrot Top last. So imagine,
imagine what goes on now if Carrot Top has game
like that.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yeah, imagine. It's a great vibe. It's not a pretentious vibe.
I don't want to paint like an incorrect sort of
picture where oh man, I don't know if I could hang, No,
you could very much hang and enjoy the people watching
here is a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
So here's who we saw. Get this.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
This is what the Wind delivers as far as people watching.
By the way, I'll just this is in no particular order,
but this one made me laugh. Do you guys know
who Nate Bargates. He is Nate Bargatzi, hilarious comedian. Rich
goes up to him because Nate.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
He grew up with.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
I'm like, oh, hey, what's up.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
I didn't know like you thought it was like approached
him like he and then I realized it was Nate Bargates,
the comedian.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
And he's here just walking around doing his thing.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
You know. Maybe he's in town to see Mullennier, to
see the fire. Maybe he has a gig of his own,
but a funny guy who's sort of blowing up. I
think in the past few years for sure, Nate Bargeresy
saw him walking around. Then I'm like, yo, look who
it is. Sugar Ray Leonard. Sugar Ray Leonard led but
you noticed kind of feel like to be Sugar Ray Leonard,

(23:34):
knowing that you know, you lived this life, this fight
that's going on this weekend, that was you.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
Man.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
I want to hype around Garcia and Davis.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
That was the feeling though, that you want you and
Duran and Ewen Hearns and Ewen Hagler.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
He's one of the few that knows what it feels like. Yeah,
and he looks fantastic, you know.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
So it's like Wow, Sugar Ray Leonard again we've had
the privilege of interviewing is one of our favorites. But
you know, you give him a little not you give
him the Voto. No, you don't stop him in his tracks,
a big Sugar Ray letter. Just let him live his life.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I got one that I got one that I saw
walking past us, and I did a double take.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
I'm like, Eh, it's Jimmy Fallon.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
You know, I saw him from behind. I recognize his treeks,
but I missed him. I missed him walking by because
there's so many people and so many good looking people,
you know, Jimmy Fallon walks by, you don't even really
notice it until Rich pointed it out.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
I'm like, oh, there he is who he was walking with?

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Michael Strahan saw Michael Strahan saw jj Wat, We saw
Matt Stafford. I believe he was one of the first
people that Danny g pointed out someone I missed.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
But I know you saw j R. Smith.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
I wanted to do the you know, the lebron holding
your arms out like why.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Like I so badly was like, Dan, you got your camera.
So we saw j party even with Travis Keller.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
Circling the casino last night. Now, I've seen him a
few times, but.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
You thought the same thing I did at the same time,
roll Deep.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
He had like thirty twenty thirty guys surrounding him, and
they would just remove three chairs of douchebags.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
They were just moving like a swore, like a horrid
threat fence.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
And then like he was so protected that eventually, like
a girl would run up and they obviously they would
permeate the whole protection.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Spot to tell him that you ask your barber for
his haircut, It's been really embarrassing, Like.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
I have my barber for your hair cut for the
new Yeah, that would have been a bad move for sure,
But yeah, Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
And then who'd you see this morning?

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Danny g at breakfast, Julius Irving, doctor Jay.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
But I met you said he was a strolling by
when we were eating our exits.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Surely because he's an older gentleman. Now, but led Gin.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yeah, so, I mean Vegas brings out the superstars, that's
no surprise. But this is one hell of a weekend.
I'm telling you, we're witnessing history in the making. There's
a huge fight tonight. I know they're not household names
for everybody, But this is one we're gonna look back
and say, Yo, this is this is a modern day
sugar Ray Leonard sort of Tommy Hearn's a event.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
I'm trying to force.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Gambling on him, but do you think one day he'll do.
He's talking about the Lakers, He's all about Ryan Garcia.
Do a parlay.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Make it fun.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
You're in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Doesn't have to be a lot of money. I barely
have a voice because I'm having so much fun. What
is my fun have to do with you? Worry about
Rich Davis.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Sometimes this is a good transition, though, to talk about
what we saw with Rich on the floor last night.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Here is the win.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, bro, you're an exceptional guy. Man like you have
no like self control, no discipline. And I understand, like Vegas,
you shouldn't have discipline.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
You're here to have a good time. I get all that,
but I don't operate that way.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
I'm just not that guy. I'm not that kind of it.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Never was, I know, but you you haven't.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
It wasn't that when I was curious, get in my twenties,
Why would.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
I be doing that?

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Now?

Speaker 6 (26:51):
The guy had breakfast and coffee, a drink, and an edible,
all within like a twenty minute period.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Just now. Yeah, so the story tell us your story.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
See I would argue if that wasn't completely accurate.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Yeah, and Covino, if you could paint the picture, what
was it like when he went up two hundred dollars
and then down four hundred dollars, He.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Just turns into a very panicky guy. Rich is full of.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Energy, as you know already, but he's bouncing around back
and forth.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
He's looking at all the machines.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
He's looking to see if his number sixteen red sixteen
hit on machines.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
He's not even.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Playing, you know, which is insane to me, and then
he gets mad that it hits somewhere else that he's
not playing. He's look yo his energy and his hyperactivity,
his next levels, like your your your bizarre hypertendency's kicking
to next gear when you're in Vegas, because you're being
stimulated every which way possible. There's ass cheeks to the left,

(27:48):
there's sports to the right, celebrities over here, you're betting money,
you're playing.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
I mean, there's so much going on. Truthfully, I feel
like Vegas does have all the things.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Yeah, I get I love yeah, and it sets Rich
off honestly.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
Sports book here, No, Joe, you just described. You just
described what I said.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Sports book here, great restaurants, people watching, and that people
watching consisting of beautiful women and gambling and a beautiful
hotel room and.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Cocktails in the shower pressure? Right, who doesn't love the
shower pressure at the winds.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
That automatically opening. Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
We just readid our house and I gotta go home
and tell my wife as soon as they got home,
like we need new shower heads.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Whatever they got going on here, this pressure, I feel
like creamer. I thought it was it was. I heard you,
I heard Rich and Danny g talking about it.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
When I finally experienced it last night, I was like,
oh my god, they weren't lying. You know, it's next level.
So a lot of these things are, you know, distracting
Rich for sure. It's a great place, and we're watching
him gamble, and Rich loves to do this thing too,
like he's not hot, so he quit. He's all right,
I'm stopping on this roulette table. And then he waits
to see, you know, if his number hits just in

(29:00):
case anyway, so if it does you want to shoot yourself?

Speaker 3 (29:03):
I guess I don't understand. I mean, I don't understand
that lot.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
If you're playing on a machine, this dude, if you're
playing with the regular dealer, that's human. There's a human element, right,
Like if you stop or start, like people have to
make change on the machines every thirty seconds, it spins.
So if I stay or go, the same numbers will
come up. With the human different numbers would come up
just based on the human element. So if I've been

(29:26):
playing for a half hour and I'm putting five or
ten or twenty bucks Red sixteen, Red sixteen, Red sixteen,
and I lose three hundred bucks, and I'm like, damn it.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
I do want to see all right now?

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Well, now that I'm done, please don't tell me Red
sixteen is gonna come up in the next couple spins.
I know.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
And you know what happens to Tortress. It's like you
lose Rich, Like you could be walking with Rich and
then you're like where Rich go? And it happens all
the time. It's almost like I know, it's he's so
disrespectful in a way because you're talking to him, like wait,
where do you go? And then he's like, I do apologize,
and so I do it. Take a left and he's
gambling somewhere else.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
I know, I do it. Like you guys will be
well we walk into this.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
We'll be walking to a restaurant and I know because
I'll see you guys walking and the blackjack table or
something like a magnet.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
I'm like, yeah, yeah, no exaggeration.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
It just didn't even know we lost him.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
And then I heard this just about ten feet away,
Rock Purty, rock Perty Joe Montana. Joe Montana's number, Joe
Montana thirteen sixteen.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Then then I called. I called my wife and I'm like, hey, babe,
give me two numbers. She's like eleven and thirteen My right, bye.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Like I'm like yeah, and those hit by they both
hit I know.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
And I didn't even know Rich had sat down at
a machine and I just hear numbers.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Yeah, Rich's voice, it.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Just hits all of his senses, just overly stimulated, as
a lot of people are in Las Vegas. But I'm
telling you, with Rich's hyper energy and all that stimulation,
it's next level. I don't think many people have experienced
what I'm what I'm talking about Rich is a super
hyperactive guy and I'm a guy that really doesn't gamble
at all. I'm here for the dinners and the entertainment

(30:58):
and the fight and everything else and to do the
show again. Cavino and Rich live from the Blue Wires Studios,
broadcasting from the Win Las Vegas. And you know what
unite tor story though you on tonight while I I'll
do some gambling, we'll watch the fight Lakers game.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Danny Ju, you know, being that does not your style?
Do you want us to send you to a Cirk
show somewhere? Would you like to go see some trapeze?

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Actually?

Speaker 3 (31:19):
I love which one I would love to go? I mean,
you are the ultimate big fan, know what you are.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I'll tell you this because my wife and I said
earlier today this summer we got to take a trip,
her and I back to Vegas. We haven't been to
Vegas together in maybe like a year, and that was
one of our first little weekend trips together as a
couple when he first started dating was Vegas. And you
would be a great Vegas boyfriend or husband because you

(31:44):
want to go to shows and dinners and you don't
want to gamble and Noah.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
He loves that shows I do.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
I'm not even kidding, not even kidding. And events, like
you said, Rich a good fight, you know, the the
feeling of a big event, which you're going to experience
tonight if you're watching Garcia Davis.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Now, I have a question for you. Based on all this,
I get it. I'm a jittery buffoon. Danny g got
to see it for the first time, you and spot
of seeing it.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
I want to hear your legendary story if you were
down to twenty bucks, no.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
One had, no one, No one likes other people's gambling stories.
But it was a good one I had. I had
twenty bucks left in my pocket. I had last twenty.
Well you gave yourself what five hundred I had?

Speaker 3 (32:28):
I had. I had left a little money in the room,
so I said, let me a couple hundred dollars. I
took me.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
I was down to my last twenty and I'm like, Eah,
that was a rough go at it, And I said,
let me do one more, one more spin red sixteen
twenty bucks Joe Montana.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
And why don't you know it?

Speaker 2 (32:44):
It hits And I do like and I looked, I was,
I look like a loser to probably a degenerate because
you guys weren't there.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
I was alone, so I did the solo like you
I myself.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
I was like yeah, and it was I paid out seven,
so he was down.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Started, Yeah, what else did you do by yourself?

Speaker 5 (33:05):
Use?

Speaker 3 (33:06):
You know, Vegas brings out the demons inside.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
I know what you mean by that seven twenty And
then by early this morning you had already lost like
three hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
We were waiting to have some breakfast and brunch and some coffee,
and you guys said, hey, can you push it back
fifteen minutes? And that's all I need to hear. I
was like, what am I going to do for fifteen minutes?
Right to the table?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I know.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
So, hey, listen, I love Vegas and I'm loving the
win and the fight tonight. I'm equally excited, no joke
about the Lakers Grizzlies game tonight.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
I want to be able to, uh, well, this is
Lebron Dylan Brooks and I'm here people, I'm here, you know,
just fans saying, yo, Lebron's don't come out and score
fifty tonight, just because even though it's not a style
like he's just going to do it because tonight I
will see.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
That makes me excited.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Either way, I had a question reasons one for you,
not based on sports, not based on me being a
jittery buffoon, based on what you the next.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
Level jittery buffoon in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
That's the point.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
No, I mean I love it here, by the way,
Vegas the first place my wife told me she loved me.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
Oh she was drunk. Oh what we were?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
We were You know, Jeremiah Shadow, you've told strippers here
in Vegas that you love them. But in the moment
I did engaged to remember, Yeah, jeremih got that runs
his place, said carrat Top is getting flash lest year.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
My wife and I got you and I got comped
for Carratop tickets.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Do you remember this?

Speaker 2 (34:27):
And I had gone back with my wife and we
went to go see Carratop and believe it was your.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Big romantic mom No, like you're making fun of my surface.
It was funny.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Well, anyway, we're leaving carrat Top and we're both we're
both boozing. She's like, I love you, and I was
like oh, and then she like sort of ran away.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Like she didn't she didn't realize she said it and
that she got all in the moment right here in
Vegas to that story.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
I actually got married in Vegas, rock star bro. Yeah,
I didn't work out the way I thought it would,
but it's.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
True what I mean, but that, you know, it doesn't
that just describe Vegas altogether.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
You know, I married in Vegas. Like it's crazy after
everything you said about me.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
You may have made the craziest dishes, and I made
the craziest bet and I failed. You know, I made
the craziest gamble. I got married in Vegas. True story.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
So top that and then spot rolled the seven and
you got divorce.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
You know when I kind of blame one of my buddies,
my buddy Liquid Tod also got married in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Didn't work out, and he told me.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
I remember, He's like I got married in Vegas and
he was like Rocks, And I.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Thought, like, what a rock star move.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
So it was always like a rock star move in
my in my mind, you know. And I'll never forget
the reaction of my dad. I called my dad afterward,
stop and it was late, and I'm like, hey Dad, yeah,
it was going on you okay?

Speaker 3 (35:47):
Yeah, I picture him he's there in its tidy white.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
He's probably I'm like, yeah, don't tell mom or telling.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Don't tell him now.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
I'm like, I'm leaving it on him, Like, I know,
you probably want to let her know in your own
way or something.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
But I got married. Oh yeah, Stephen. Is he okay? Yeah,
he's okay? Attend all right? Oh yeah, happy? And I
probably says something you happy. I don't know. Yeah, all right,
all right, we'll go back.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
That was it.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
I could tell that he was not happy for Did
you tell your mom?

Speaker 5 (36:20):
Ya?

Speaker 3 (36:21):
Now she just found out. But then the next day
my mom found out. It was a whole weird thing.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yes, Steve not It wasn't the ideal situation, but it
was good for me. I really I wouldn't have changed it.
I really wouldn't have. Your version of love is blind.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
Yeah, I just did it.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
By the way, I think betting on Ryan Garcia now
is mild compared to other decisions you've made in the city.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, so maybe I will put some money
on it. So I thought I had that.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
If you want to wrap with this, I know we're
having fun on a Saturday at the wind.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
But by the way, an exclusive Covino and Rich Danny
g Spotty Boy Podcast for your listening pleasures. Please subscribe
for free again Covino and Rich, you subscribe and thank
you guys for hanging out with you.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
You mentioned all the celebrities we saw passing by. I
do want to ask, is there some type of permanent
leave them alone or let's say you're with your teenage
kid or you're with someone that is a big fan.
What is the appropriate approach if there is any? And
it is safe to say that the self of your

(37:23):
picture has completely completely.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Replaced the autograph. No one wants an autograph back, and
there was like can you sign this?

Speaker 5 (37:30):
Who wants it?

Speaker 1 (37:30):
I mean we were just with Mike Tyson. Did you
want his autograph? Did you want a picture?

Speaker 6 (37:34):
Unless it's like a picture so we have the Tyson
progloves here. Unless it's like a piece of memorabilia.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Chief guy that you can disclave.

Speaker 6 (37:42):
What are you gonna have like an autographed book that
you go off the page?

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, but when you look back, Danny like, how dumb
you were?

Speaker 1 (37:50):
You thought, you know was real? Yeah, Danny, do you
wanna do you wanna? Do you want to picture? You
want to picture? Are you in Magic Johnson, or you
and Lebron or or you in shack or do you
want an autographs Lakers jersey and a frame.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
In your hand?

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Cue.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
I was just gonna say, if it's on sports memorabilia,
you want a nice autograph, but you're not going to
randomly have that with you.

Speaker 5 (38:13):
So you want a picture.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
You can be like here, sign my wind bar napkin,
Like if you're there approach, is there an approach that's okay?

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Like, Hey, I don't want to bother you, big fan,
could do a quick pick with my kid. You're right,
kids do change the equation.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
You'll do anything for your kids because if like let's
say you bumped into Taylor Swift in an airport or
something and your kids, you lose all chill, all cool,
and all sense of what's right because you want your
kid to be happy.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
So I understand that I do.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
If you're just a grown ass adult, Like if I
would Sugar Ray Leonard in his tracks, Sugar, it means
a lot like here's the exception, he's just there chilling.
The exception with the exception would be, but they're just
walking around the exception would be they can't be moving
because then you're preventing them from yeah, you stopping. They
can't be laughing or in the middle of something fun,

(39:00):
can't be at the urinal, they can't be the urine hole.
They can't be mid by the food.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
Now a place it would be like maybe the lobby
of a restaurant or hotel where you clearly they are
standing waiting for someone, or it's discreet.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
That might be the moment that's okay. Or what about this?

Speaker 2 (39:17):
What if it's not someone you necessarily admire. Let's say
it's it sounds mean, but what if it's like a
joke with you and your friends. Like Jeremiah brought up
carrat Top. Let's say you and your high school buddies
all joke for some reason, like you're inside joke is
a carrot top?

Speaker 3 (39:30):
If you see carrat Top, you have you can't how
do you let it go by?

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Yeah, I mean it's a good point because you and
are jaded.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
We've had the privilege of interviewing a meeting a lot
of people, so you know, maybe, uh, we're jaded in
that regard because we've met so many people. But if
you're just visiting, you know, you might want to cash
in on that opportunity.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
I have one story that might sway you one way
or the other. One time, as a joke, we were
at a big Maxim party and because we were Maxim Radio,
Cavino and Rich a.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
Long time ago. Yeah, it was the old school.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
And Tony Gonzalez was there with Jason Winton. It was
a Shannon Sharp No, Tony Gonzalez and Jason Okay, so
almost tight ends all look exactly, and like, so three
legendary tight ends. I'm gonna go in there and just jumping.
But yo, guys, I gotta be in this picture, so
you know, I just three tight ends, three legendary Hall

(40:25):
of Fame tight ends.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Chilling.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I saw that as an opportunity and I was like,
I'm gonna get in there. I remember like stopping their conversation. Yeah,
first first strike, first strike. I went, I say, guys,
I probably made a stupid tight ends joke, like it's
not you know you need this tight end in this photo.
And Tony Gonzalez straight up was like, nah, no, man, sorry,

(40:49):
Tess Taylor, my guy is here. But do you remember
how hard Tony Gonzalez dismissed us. You sure you're the
one that didn't take an edible randomly shouting out people
walking by. I saw one of our friends fucking buy
you're you're shouting out strangers.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
I shout it out someone Actually, no, yea the tight
end picture. That's hey, Frank, what's up? Anyway? Back to
my tight ends.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
So I think it was a great attempt if it
would have worked. You had a funny story. But the
fact that Tony Gonzalez like, yeah, shut I think it
was something to the effect.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Like that now is not the time I'm man or
something else.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Maybe if you maybe I feel smaller than I already felt.
I thought I nailed this, and by the way, I
was in the wrong. I wasn't wrong. They were in
the moment, you know, I just am. I thought that
I could get away with it, I guess, but I
wasn't the wrong.

Speaker 6 (41:39):
There, Rich you, We've constantly said to you, we have
no reason or no idea why you root for the
forty nine ers, because every forty nine er that you've
gone up to and asked for a photo, I shot
you down.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
I've been disc quite a bit by my own team,
But Danny g I think these guys who love to
make fun of me. Clearly, will back me up in
that I didn't approach once once that seemed like it
was the perfect way, and I still got dissed.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Yeah, you were in the right, Yeah you were good.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
We were at an ESPN party for the Super Bowl
years ago, and we had worked the red carpet. We
were in the VIP area, right, so we're already like
in an area that like shows it like well, you know,
when I'm much just some family.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
It's an exclusive area.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, And I saw Colin Kaepernick. Now this is when
Kaepernick was at his height. Whend you know, Seahawks Niners rivalry,
Super Bowl, NFC Championship, Kaepernick rich had.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
A Kaepernick jersey, big forty nine Ers fan.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
That was that was back in the day. That was
that was the era, the Jim Harbaugh days. And I
see Kaepernick with his boys. They dip away to use
the bathroom. So CAP's there by himself and he's just
looking down at his phone, and I'm like, this is
probably the ideal time because he's not with his boys,
no one's wrangling him.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
I went up to him, like, yo, Cap, big Niners fan,
really love what you do? Quick picture he's like no,
and since then his life has gone down the drain.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Only I have since.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
There's been only one celebrity that denied a picture after
an actual interview, Like you know, we've actually had a
sit down interview and they said, no, I'm not doing
a picture.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Would you like to know who I would?

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Because you'd never hear stories like that, H.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
Did the iszz? Oh it was jay Z? Really well,
that's right, I didn't mind.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
So I'm like, yeah, we just interviewed jay Z, but
he denied us on a Yeah, would be probably did
a twenty minute interview. By the way, what Comino was
talking about, Danny g This is probably like five oh six,
Like we're talking a long time ago, a long time.
But the simple fact that I know there's no picture
that exists proves your point because we.

Speaker 2 (43:37):
Did have like a pretty fun sit down. Yeah, you
talk to a guy for twenty minutes and you're like, y'all,
thanks for being on the show.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
Quick picture. And I told him I liked.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Him when he was someone else's sidekick. I'm like, I've
liked you since you.

Speaker 5 (43:48):
Were rapping with Jazz Big Jazz.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Why Sophie.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
I was a big fan of all that was excited
that you knew it. Yeah, and he was like yo,
for real and I'm like yeah. And then at the
end of the interview, Yo, man, it's a pleasure hanging
out with Jay Zoul.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
We get a picture. He's like nah, and I'm like
what and it was it. You know, I kind of
respected it.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
So you gotta take your chances, especially when you're at
a place like Vegas.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Celebrities are everywhere, but why because.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
It's Vegas and it's a big, big weekend and we're
really fortunate to be here bringing that fun to you.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
Two things, you have to give the celebrity the benefit
of the doubt because you're not the first or the
last or the last person that's going to harass them
that in that day.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Like I said, everybody feels.

Speaker 5 (44:25):
Like harassing them, like if you, but everyone feels.

Speaker 6 (44:29):
Like they are just trying to live. They're just trying
to live. I get that they're trying to I know
they like the attention and they enjoy being a celebrity,
but at the same time, they just want to like
walk through a casino and not be Bobby you know
what's fair?

Speaker 3 (44:40):
Though, I wish I could just live a normal life.
You know, it's fair. What's fair is what I did
to Jimmy Fallon, And I was just like, yeah, hey, Jimmy,
what's up. Give them a little like quick, like a
little fistbumper, you know.

Speaker 6 (44:49):
That's I do believe though, that creating a little bit
of a rapport. So maybe going up saying hi, saying
you're a fan, not right away just being like photo
or walking up with the camera in the face, like
that's obnoxious.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
If you treat them like a.

Speaker 6 (45:05):
Human being, because they are a human being, they might
treat you back with a little bit of respect and say,
oh you want a photo, Let's grab a photo and
then you can move on your way.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
And by the way, COVID has now played a part
in meeting celebrities because rich where you go every day
outside of the Sherman Oaks Studios in California to get
your lunch, your five dollars poo bowl. Half our staff
is in that stupid restaurant every day. So I ran
across during a commercial break like, man, let me get
my chicken real quick, and Mike Epps is standing in there.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
Oh nice, And I'm like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:37):
Next Friday, Mike, And I was real cool, just real
like relax next to him.

Speaker 5 (45:43):
On my bro, love your work. You know.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
I didn't want to picture, no autograph, anything stupid like that.
I just stuck my hand out for a handshake and
he was like, no, man, covid bro, I don't shake Pepelise.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
So here's who we saw again.

Speaker 1 (46:02):
We saw Nate Bargates, the Sugar Ray Leonard, Jimmy Fallon,
JJ Watt, Travis Kelce, Michael Strahan, Matt Stafford j R.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
Smith. There's a lot of people, know, We've seen a
lot of people, a lot of legends.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Again, it's a big weekend and it's not just the fights.
We got to talk a little NBA because these games
go on today. So before we say goodbye and good day,
I want to know your thoughts. Are you putting your
money on the Lakers again? And props to the seventy
six ers today they shut out the nets they were
moving on. They shut them down, you know, four games
to none they won today, ninety six eighty eight.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
But much like you, much like you who is betting
with your heart with Ryan Garcia. If you do bet,
there's a part of me that I always keep forgetting
that the Grizzlies are a good team.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
The Grizzlies are a good team.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
I'm riding high and they're like, Welllebron's going to show them,
and he's a Lakers fan.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
I'm likelies cooked the wrong bear this time.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
I don't know, but it's like an even money type
of bet. So I think I'll go Lakers, and I
think what I'm gonna do is the Javante David knockout
rounds and also hedge my own stupid bet with Garcia.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
Garcia, it goes the distance.

Speaker 4 (47:05):
This stat surprised me because when we talked about it
live on our show a couple of days ago, I.

Speaker 5 (47:11):
Didn't know this.

Speaker 4 (47:12):
Lebron James with Dylan Brooks as his primary defender twenty
six points, sixty sixty two percent field goal percentage, forty
three percent three point field goal percentage, zero turnovers, So.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
It's not like he's shutting down Lebron. If anything, those
are pretty like average. Not those are Lebron's numbers.

Speaker 5 (47:33):
So is this in Dylan Brooks's own mind? I mean,
he was what did he do three?

Speaker 3 (47:37):
What did he score twelve points or something in.

Speaker 5 (47:39):
The fourth quarter? He had that dagger three?

Speaker 4 (47:42):
Yeah, got to give him credit for how he played
in that fourth quarter, but it's not like he was
some crazy lockdown defender on Lebron Bucks.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
He Sons, Clippers, Sons. With the win against seventy six
ers over the nets, they move on Grizzlies Lakers. That's
ted at one and fight tonight. The Kawhi Leonards will
continue to grow. I already heard about that on Monday,
for sure.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
I already heard cow Heerd, steven A, all the all
the you know, bigger talking heads in the world of
sports have already all deemed.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
I'm gonna tell Calan Coward you said he had a
big head, but those guys are all they're all talking about.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
How like Kawhi Leonards such a disappointment, Yo, you forget
because you know time moves fast and you know next story,
next story, next story. I wanted to pre covid the
season where the Clippers got Paul George and Kawhi Leonard
and every Lakers fan was supposed to feel bad like
they lost out.

Speaker 5 (48:36):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Kawhi Leonard was supposed to change the culture, the fandom, everything,
and I agree.

Speaker 1 (48:43):
I said, put it in like your own weak ass
baby terms if your star player on your little league
team said he wasn't going to play.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
You'd be disappointed.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
Yeah, let alone on this level where they guy millions
and millions to play these particular games. The guy that
was supposed to change the face of your franchise, he
won championships for two other teams.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
You thought him coming to the Clippers. The Clippers have
never won.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
They thought the first NBA title was clearly going to
be because of Kawhi Leonard and not just done.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
That's going to continue on until Monday. So listen out
to Covino and Rich. Enjoy the fight, Team Garcia, I'm
excited about it. I do want to thank Jeremiah again
for your studios. Thanks seriously, man, we got to do
this again. Pleasure, Patrick and Sarah from the Win Again
Coveno and Rich broadcasting live from the Blue Wires Studios,
Win Las Vegas at Covino and Rich.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
We're gonna have a lot more to talk about on Monday,
and until then, everyone, have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
Enjoy the fights, enjoy some uh you know, some of
your hobb dovin, and we'll see you back on Monday.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Are we be there, baby?

Speaker 5 (49:40):
See you yeah? Vegas, Baby, Hey, rich let me borrow
two hundred dollars
