great content on there. All right. You know I'm interested
to hear your take on draft stories. Well, let me

(04:29):
rephrase that. Let me pull that back. I'm interested in
one of your first experiences, TJ, once you've gotten drafted,
is what I meant to say. This week's legendary moment
was taken from one of my interviews that I did
with myself, actually talking about experiences after the draft when

(04:49):
I came into the locker room. I'll be interested to
hear what your experience was. But here was an interesting
one that I had with Daryl Green when I first
got drafted to the Washington football team.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Game Presents conversations with a legend and now this is
your legendary moment.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
So I go walking into the locker room like, man,
this this is Darryl Greed, Like this is going to
be my teammate, Like that's Darryl Greed. They roll in
my in my sock god, and I say to him,
what's up, man? And I just remember saying your your
wife must be fine as all get out. And he

(05:35):
looked at me like he looked at me with one
of the wildest looks, like that's you're talking about my wife.
Why would you say that? Well, because that's what I
was thinking in my mind. Daryl Greed is an NFL star,
an NFL legend, his his wife, That's the first thing

(05:56):
I'm thinking. I'm like, girl crazy. I was girl crazy.
Like so I'm like, man, he's got to have a
dope wife, you know. And she is dope. Shouts out
to missus Jewel Green, she is dope. But what's crazy
is that moment I realized immediately you're not in college anymore.

(06:16):
So you're not talking to the homie. You're talking to
a professional that's a grown man that comes to work.
And some of them used to have briefcases with their
like their notepads for taking notes in the meetings and
stuff like that, Like dudes was really coming to work
in a business manner. And I realized real quickly that

(06:39):
that was I was in a different place. This wasn't
this wasn't just funding games of being in college or
being in high school. And it's like the camaraderie still exists,
but it certainly changes in terms of how you engage
one another and how things work. I mean, Darryl Green
was very very he's very strong and Christian beliefs and

(07:01):
different things like that, so on so many different levels.
I turned him off, like I did not have a
great first impression with Daryl Greed. Shouts out to my
man Jonas Knox. In fact, you you'll be able to
hear Jonas Knox coming up in the next hour top
of the hour of this hour here.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
So.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
TJ. You know, when you're in college, you do a
lot of wild stuff with your homies, your boys, y'all
talk about everything and anything. You compare notes. I mean,
I have some wild funny stories about just how you
interact with one another with teammates while you're in college.
But I have one hundred percent realized very quickly that

(07:44):
that type of relationship dynamic is you have to be
careful in terms of identifying how you communicate. You got
the people that are very and this is in college too.
You have the ones that are deeply rooted in their
spiritual faith. You have guys that are are rooted into
academics like super academia. You have guys that are into

(08:08):
working and they have like figure out ways to have
other jobs. I had one teammate that worked at McDonald's
while we were in college, and they're just guys have
different types of things that are important to them. For me,
I don't know. Having fun was kind of my thing.
Like I enjoyed having fun in college. It continued on

(08:29):
when I went to d C. I enjoyed having fun
at the nation's capital. And when I walked into the
locker room, all I could think of was, man, you
know the glitz and the glamor of how you know
it all plays out. I'm in Chocolate City. I'm like, man,
Darryl Gray got to have the dopest looking chick ever
in life, and that's in my mind, and I let
it come out of my mouth. I let it come

(08:51):
out of my mouth, and he checked me real quick, man.
I mean, it was one of the most crucial checkings
that you will probably experience. But then I realized is
that you know what like respect, make sure that you
you're handling things as a professional. And that was like
a quick lesson, like right away immediately, like approach. Dudes
has grown men like this man has has a child.

(09:12):
He has children, like a full full crib of kids.
Like his thoughts are different, his his his priorities are different,
everything is just very different. I felt like the only
thing we had in common really were that we were
playing football. You know what I mean, Do you have
any do you have any stories that were interesting in

(09:32):
terms of just kind of a tone that was set
for you, in terms of I was not in college
anymore and now I'm in the league and this was
kind of like a cool little experience that took place. Man.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Now, when I when I got drafted to the Bengals,
I remember when we were getting drafted levard to following
weekend mini camp, and so some people had some teams
had Ricky Minnie camp, whereas the Bengals we had me
Any camp which the whole team was there. And so
I just remember all the rookies you had these lockers

(10:08):
in the middle of the locker, on their temporary lockers
because it was off season. Obviously, it was so many
guys and it wasn't a moment. So many of the
guys with Cincinnati when I would they were a young team.
You got to remember, now, the year before me, they

(10:28):
drafted Peter Warwick, Ron Dugan's, they had Danny Farmer, Craig Yeese.
All these dudes were young. We didn't have the VET
receiver was Darnay Scott, and you know, Darnay was hanging
out with us like he was our age. And so
you know, Takeio Spikes, Brian Simmons, Willie Anderson, Rudy Johnson,

(10:53):
Corey Dillon. We had so many guys that were younger man.
When I think about it, we didn't really have that
many vets. John Kittner he was the VET QB, but
Achille Smith was the quarterback or was supposed to be

(11:16):
the future before they draft the cars. And I mean,
we just had a young team. So no, I didn't
have those moments, and that could be why early in
our career our seasons went the way they went because
it was so many everybody was young man. Everybody was
in a mid twenties, and then the vets that were older.

(11:40):
Because obviously there are vets on the team. I didn't
interact with them, or maybe they didn't interact with me,
and so, yeah, man, it was it was for sure different.
But when you get into that locker room that first time,
it's a bit of an awakening, so to speak, because

(12:03):
I wouldn't say you're intimidated, but you're walking around and
like you said, these are grown men with children. You
got to navigate through that locker room the correct way
because this isn't college. We plan for keeps, and so
the vets that have been in our position, they want
they want you to take this serious because this is

(12:23):
their livelihood here and you know, we come in from college.
We want to have fun, not realizing the magnitude of
everything because they've already experienced it. And so it for
sure is a different night. I could only imagine when
you said that the girl Darryl Green like his respect.
I could only imagine, bro.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
I thought it was I thought it was totally innocent.
I was all the way like I was all the
way pumped up, like he was going like you know,
be like, yeah, she's fine, like bruh, Like just make
sure you know you careful, Like I'm thinking we about
to just chop it up like the homies. Man, that
man sunned me like he was on some grown like
like I'm your dad. Point what year was Green going

(13:02):
into you? Recall I think I had three years with him.
He made like twenty. So man, he was he was
he was he was way deeper. Yeah, he was deep in. Man,
he was deep in Like he was way deep in.
But he ended up being one of my biggest my
biggest supporters and one of my biggest mentors while while
I was there. And yeah, man like it just I

(13:24):
was mortified after I realized that that that that wasn't
like he wasn't into it.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Let me ask you this, with the supposed sale of
the Commanders on the Horizon, would you yeah, I would
go back. Yeah, that's what I'm asking I would go.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Because I love the city and I love this team,
I love the people. I can't stand the owner.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
This is why I asked you. This is because you
see I've done it, and you see a lot of
former players announced picks of teams that drafted them.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yep, I've done that. I've done it.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
For for Washington.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Yeah, done it. I've done it. Listen. There was a
time where I tried to reconcile with Dan. There was
a time where I tried to get get involved with
with the organization, and he was a douchebag. Like I mean,
it just it just didn't go It didn't go over well.
So I was like fu. He was like, f me.

(14:20):
So it's like fu, if it's fus, you know, it's
f at all. So it's kind of like an f
HM thing, you know, it's wild, like one of the
home He's reached out to me to come, you know,
do a meet, meet and greet with the draft picks
from from this year's draft, and I was like, man,
he still owns a team. I'm just not After after

(14:41):
I tried to reconcile and it didn't come together, I
just I just closed the book up on it, you
know what I mean. But if if you know, if
and when the selle of the team takes place, I
don't have any personal feelings towards the new ownership group.
So if if I have the opportunity to to retegrate
and and you know, reconnect with the organization and reconnect

(15:05):
with the players, I hate being almost like self egx
out from from the organization that I put six years in.
I got three Pro bowls with them. I'm a two
time All Pro with them. I had a real career.
My parents still live there, my brothers still live, my
siblings still live there, So you know, it's it's I

(15:26):
definitely have a connection and a tie that that a
bond with the community. I mean, my bond with the
DC community is pretty fire, so I certainly would go back.
I'm just not doing anything while Dan Snyder is there
like and that that that was I was resolved to that.
I was resigned to that, and I'm still resigned to that.

(15:46):
I just won't. I won't do it. So it is
what it is.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
And my boy hater just got drafted to the Saints,
Yes he did. And he can ball. He can ball.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
That could be a that could be a sleeper right
there because is nice. Yeah, I mean, Joe, if Carr
doesn't do what he needs to do, you know, there's
the opportunity to hang might get an opportunity to get
up in there and do a little something. So anyways,
you're listening to up one game, that's t J. Huschman's out.
I'm LeVar Arrington. Plex is out. We're gonna take a

(16:18):
quick break. On the other side of the break, Lamar
Jackson officially resigns. Let's talk about it, all right, We'll
be right back.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot Com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
All right, welcome back into up on game. We're live
from the tire rack dot com studios. LaVar Arrington alongside TJ.
Hutchman's out of Plexico is off. While we were in break,
we had some news drop and take place. What you

(16:57):
got ilo.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
NFL Media has just reported that the Detroit Lions are
trading starting running back DeAndre Swift to the Philadelphia Eagles,
this after they drafted Alabama running back Jamiir Gibbs in
round one.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Let me tell you something, Hey.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Love Yeah, Should we just start calling them the Philadelphia Bulldogs?

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Pretty much Athens North, build some hedges at the link.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
I tell you what they lost, Miles Sanders. I don't
I don't love that. I don't like that they let
a guy like that get away and it's not because
I'm biased that he's a Penn stateror of course he is.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I just didn't like that. But man, you had DeAndre Swift.
That is more than a great compliment replacement to that departure.
If he can stay healthy behind that offensive line, you
could probably see him have an MVP caliber season if

(18:06):
healthy TJ.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
DeAndre Swift can play. Once they signed David Montgomery and
drafted gives you the writing was on the wall. You
don't sign a running back in free agency and give
Montgomery what he was given and then draft gives with
the twelfth pick and keep Swift on the roster. It's
just not going to happen. And so for the Eagles,

(18:30):
and I believe it was a fourth round pick, that's
a win for them. Swift was a second round draft
pick a couple of years back, and so the Eagles
get a good running back that can catch the ball
off the backfield. It's been a starter in the league. Man.
The Eagles going to be good again. Man, think they loaded,

(18:52):
They are going to be good. You still got Fletcher Cox,
you got the two interior alignment from Georgia that dominate
NAY college football. The last two years in Jordan Davis
and Jalen Carter Brown, you got Nolan's yet, they just
they love draft Nolan Smith. They had the Kobe Dean,

(19:13):
they get the Corn, they get Kelly n Keeley, Ringo Laye,
you have Bradbury.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
It's just they're gonna be hunting out there.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
On paper, the Eagles look good.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
It's the type of team that can beat one of
them AFC powers like the Kansas City Chiefs. I mean
a lot of people felt like they could have won
this this this year, this game. I mean, they just
it sounds as though this team has improved for certain definitively.
So that's that's gonna be interesting to see how that
all plays out as well. But let's talk Lamar Jackson

(19:46):
officially re signs with the Baltimore Ravens. Seemingly got the
deal that that he wanted. What was your takeaway from it?

Speaker 3 (19:55):
I will say, I don't know if he got the
deal he wanted. Matter of fact, he did not get
the deal that he wanted. He just took the best
deal I believe that was offered. We all know he
wanted a fully guaranteed contract. The Ravens were not going
to budge on that, and so this was the next

(20:19):
best thing. And so he didn't get what he wanted.
But that's a negotiation, is it not. I may not
be completely satisfied on what I received. You may not
be completely satisfied on what you gave up. Both parties
walk away from negotiations saying I gave a little bit

(20:40):
too much. I should have got a little bit more.
And that's what a negotiation is. And that's what happened.
Lamar didn't get his way, and I'm sure the Ravens
wish taking out to pay him fifty two million a year.
He signs before Jalen hurts, he probably doesn't get fifty
two a year. And so both parties they bended. But

(21:01):
I don't believe Lamar got what he wanted. We all
know that's not the case. But it's good that he
now he has this behind him. The Ravens have this
behind him, they can move forward. They have obj, they
drafted A Flowers in the first round. They have Rashad Bateman.
The Ravens have given him now the weapons that other

(21:25):
if these guys can stay healthy, specifically Odell Beckham, he
has the weapons now that if anything, he doesn't never
had and I mean bring up, he still has Mark Andrews.
And so again the AFC is a blood bath. I

(21:48):
talked earlier about how I like the Steelers draft. They're
gonna be better. They're always a tough out with Mike
Tomlin as a head coach. You look at that division
in this Cincinnati who we here for years to come,
The Browns, the Ravens, the Steelers. It's just tough sledding
throughout the AFC. But Lamar didn't get what he wanted.

(22:10):
But that's what the negotiation is about.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
That is what a negotiation is about. I mean, it
does say now fellas in the back, it does say
that this contract makes him technically the highest paid player
in the National Football League. Correct?

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (22:27):
So how does that like, how does that work? I
know he didn't get it fully guaranteed, but and the
numbers don't look like it's more than Deshaun Watson, but
it does read.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Total value on a per year average, it's fifty two
million a year. And so Jalen Hurts I believe signed
for fifty one a year. And what does Deshaun Watson get.
Deshaun Watson is total guarantees. It's two hundred and thirty million,
and that's.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Why what does that come down two yearly?

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I believe Deshaun Watson is forty five. I believe it
was so on a per year basis, Lamar Jackson has
that beat. It was the fully guaranteed contract that Lamar
was trying to get, which I believe. And we put
our we put our bodies on the line.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Man.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I don't think people understand. It's just certain games when
you wake up sometimes you can't even get out the bed,
you limping around the house, and you gotta go practice.
You gotta go practice. It don't matter how you feel,
you gotta go practice. And so I get what he
was trying to do. Because of what Deshaun Watson was

(23:40):
able to receive, the Ravens weren't going for it, and
so he got the next best thing. In kudos of him,
kudos to his family. He did this on his own hopefully. Now, now,
if you're in this situation with the playoffs, I believe
Lamar co t to play, but I'm not playing either
if I don't have a long term tracked in that
playoff game. And I'm not one hundred percent now if

(24:03):
he's in that situation today, he's probably gonna play. Put
him in that same situation, he's gonna play now and
so again this season on paper, man is gonna be
one for the ages.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I'm with you there, all right. So Bryce Young, CJ. Stroud,
they go number one, number two overall in the draft.
We'll talk about that, but first let's go to my man,
Isaac boul and Crown for what's trending.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
We have fresh Lebron James Dylan Brooks details for are
you coming up?

Speaker 1 (24:42):
I'm super fresh.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
So, first of all, the NFL drafted, Yes you, NFL
media reporting that the Detroit Lions trading starting running back
DeAndre Swift to the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles four
draft pick compensation. Let's catch you up on the fourth
round of the NFL draft in progress as we speak.
With the twenty first pick of the fourth round, number

(25:05):
one hundred and twenty three overall, the Seattle Seahawks drafted
Mississippi State defensive tackle Cameron Young. Then the Ravens selected
Mississippi edge rusher Tavius Robinson. The Los Angeles Chargers drafting
and other TCU receiver.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
This would be Darius.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Davis followed by the Cleveland Browns selecting Missouri defensive end
Isaiah McGuire. Then with the one hundred and twenty seventh
overall pick, the New Orleans Saints drafted quarterback Jake Hayner
out of Florida State. Another quarterback went next to the
Los Angeles Rams. They drafted Georgia cornerback Stetson Bennett. So

(25:43):
two notable quarterbacks going back to back there in Round
four of the NFL Draft, and the NBA Philadelphia seventy
six ers head coach Doc Rivers said today that Joel
Embiid is doubtful for Game one of the Eastern Conference
semi Finals at Boston on Monday because of a knee
and dream. Now, as we know, after Game two of
the playoffs, memphisis Dylan Brooks said the following about Lebron James.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
I don't care, he's old.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
I pulled Bears. I don't respect no one until they
come and give me forty.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Well, last night Lebron and the Lakers gave Dylan Brooks
and the Grizzlies forty, beating them to close out the
series in Game six by forty one, twenty five to
eighty five. And now precisely twenty minutes ago, Lebron James
posted on Instagram and I quote, if you ever see

(26:38):
me fighting in the forest with a grizzly bear, help
the bear. Unquote Lebron getting the last word and now
for the real last words back to you guys.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, I appreciate you Ello. That was very creative. Grizzly
bear in the forest, like you know, you just beat
the Grizzlies. That was creative. I mean, good job, Bron,
It's a good job, all right. You didn't want to
chime in on it. I mean I thought you might
want to chime in on on the Lakers. You know,
that might be how you're feeling, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
No, it's just, uh, when you win, you can say
and do things that otherwise you would not be able
to say and do.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Fair enough, fair enough, fair enough.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
And we are the victors. We see, we started the
season two and ten didn't look good and then we
orchestrated these trades.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
And why you're not sitting course oid with with Shay
Shay club club Shay Shay? Why are you why you
boy one TV man as one boys? Why y'all not?
Why y'all not courseide like that.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Man. I mean, I've been a Laker fan my whole life.
He's just a Laker fan now. So I've been doing this,
you know, I've been doing I've been a Laker fan
since I can remember. So you know, we'll we'll, we'll
welcome them. Yeah, you know, but you're gonna be here
before him. You're gonna go after him. Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (28:04):

familiar with both of them, man. I was so happy
for them, dude, let's talk. Let's talk about it. What
what like? Did they get it right? I don't think
that you could have got it wrong if you flip
flop them, I don't know that you get it wrong.
But what what was your takeaway on them going one

(28:48):
and two?

Speaker 3 (28:49):
First off, I was happy for him. Been knowing them
both for a long time. Uh, specifically CJ before you
went to college. They they've been competing, but it's been
a friendly competition pretty much. Just coming up. You know,
they trained together getting ready for the combine, genuine love,

(29:12):
genuine respect for each other, one the best for the
other guy. I was happy for him, and again what
Bryce was able to do at Alabama, when when you
look at the totality and his body of work, you
can say he deserved to go number one. He really did.

(29:34):
I didn't like the smut that was being put on
CJ's name the week leading up to the draft with
the release of his testing. I didn't like that. And
moving forward, I know these players that I deal with
next year, I'm going to advise them to take none
of these tests. I will be advising them not to

(29:56):
participate in any of this because if this is supposed
to be confidential, and you're putting smut on my name
and you disrespecting my name by releasing something that's supposed
to be confidential, then I'm no longer going to respect
that this is confidential. I'm just no longer going to
take these tests. And that's what needs to happen. These

(30:18):
agents that represent these guys need to tell them stop
taking these tests because these people that are giving these tests,
it's giving them publicity. But you're turning around and betraying
these guys and putting that out there. And so I'm
glad that did not affect them. But once again, now

(30:39):
yeah you drafted one and two. It doesn't matter. Now
it does not matter. You got to go put the
work in and you got to go perform. And so
I'm gonna be there helping them as much as I can.
But ultimately they got to put the work in and
they got to improve. Bryce, I believe, is in a
better situation from a team perspective, an organization perspective, the

(31:02):
Houston Texans are going to have to put some players
around CJ. That organization has not been run the correct
way in my opinion, a lot of dysfunction from top
to bottom. Hopefully they can clean that up because if
they don't, then nobody succeeds. I mean, the Houston Texans
have been a bad organization from top to bottom, running

(31:23):
through coaches and firing coaches and the owner and the
ownership and just the things that have transpired in Houston
doesn't bode well. But hopefully with Demico Ryan's their things
will change.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
It looks as though they've they've put their cornerstone pieces
in place, with Will Anderson junior edge guy, an elite
edge guy out of Alabama going there and adding CJ.
Stroud as their quarterback. First time you had a two
three pick since Chris Samuels and LaVar Arrington in two thousand.
By the way, little little Humble flex right there. But

(31:58):
they added Juice Scrub as well, my homie, my g
from Penn State offensive lineman, a center. That's very nice. Addition,
they added Tank Dale from Houston, a receiver. I don't
know much about him, but the things I've heard, man,
he came out here.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Last summer and trained with me for a good period
of time dying. He's small. He's small, he's short, and
he's light.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
I heard he's a dynamic Oh my god, brunner.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
His speed has changed, the direction, his ability to catch
the ball. He gonna get open, as we would say.
He can get open in the phone booth quick as
to cats, and so Tank can play. Praying that John
Metchi is fully recovered from cancer. You know, I stay
in touch with him as well, so if he can

(32:51):
come back, CJ has some weapons, but he has weapons
that have yet to play in the National Football League.
So are they really You got to show us you
can do this in the National Football League before we
say you weapons. We believe you are, but we don't know.
And so it's just that dysfunction, man, that concerns me,

(33:11):
It really does. It concerns me that dysfunction that the
Texans have shown us over the last six, seven, eight
nine years.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I will say this, it appears that the personality of
Demico Ryans is already taking taking place. It's almost kind
of like the Dan Campbell effect in Detroit. I like
their draft. I like the players that he's bringing in
so far. I like the decisions that he's made. You know,

(33:42):
it's interesting. The debate was, do you go with a
defensive player that's generationally speaking, someone who can impact your
team for years to come, or do you go with
the quarterback. Everybody says the quarterback is going to make
your team better quicker, so you go with the quarterback. Well,
lo and behold, they pull a quick one. They pull
a trade, and right after getting a franchise quarterback, they

(34:04):
get a franchise book in and a staple pillar for
their defensive side of the ball. So I like the
way that they have put together this roster so far
through the draft is what I'm speaking of. It just
opens up a lot of opportunity and potential. I think
they do need to look at look to add some

(34:25):
more talent to the outside. Of course, as you mentioned
for the receiver's position, they have things that they need
to get done and they need to work on. But
I think the biggest thing here is what you said,
it's the culture of this organization Ken Demiko, Ryan's clean up,
the feeling of what's going on there. I know I

(34:48):
always say it starts from the top and the s
rolls downhill from there. If the ownership can get out
of the way and allow for a coach to come
in and build a culture with within the building, not
just with the players, but within the building with the
sales team. We talked about this before. If that culture
can truly indeed be one that turns into a positive

(35:12):
one that makes the environment conducive to success, then you'd
assume that personnel wise, they're doing the things that it'll
take for them to be a better team. I just
I'm with you on the dysfunction It's a very concerning
thought to think that if ownership has done things in
such a disjointed way, in such a chaotic way, you

(35:32):
can't expect that there's going to be a harmonious movement
on the levels below. Whether it be in your sales,
whether it be in your marketing, whether it be in
your personnel, whether it be your coaching staff or your players,
you can't expect them to have success either. So we'll
see how that all plays out in Houston. But shots
out the Bryce Young and CJ. Stroud for going one

(35:53):
and two, Southern Kyle Katz, you know one modern day
the other one? Where's Stroud come from from? Ranchoko Kamongo? Okay?
All right, Brice Purple and yeah, I know that I
know about Bryce. You know I'm out here. Hey, Hey,
which by the way, speaking up past the end of
that whole area. Shots out the SIP. I saw him
all the in the Garcia's locker room. I mean, I

(36:18):
you know, Tank is Tank.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
You know.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
I wish I'd have been on the show to be
able for us to be able to talk about that
and preview it. But uh, shots out the SIP too.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
Like man, experience, experience, experience, you gotta stay calm.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Yeah, sometimes don't fish when they when they touch your
body and it and it feel the way that it feels,
that stay in calm park kind of go out the window.
What Mike say? Everybody got a game plan until I

I would have never thought that the Golden State Warriors
would be able to kind of rebound within the games
and turn it into a series. I felt like Sacramento

(39:21):
came out and I guess asserted some real dominance. Now
this could be me seeing it the wrong way, but
then I see a Golden State Warriors team show resilience,
find a way to get some necessary wins and find
some momentum within the series. What do you see going

(39:42):
into this this last game after last night's must win
by the Sacramento Kings, what do you see for this game?
This last game is deciding game.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
It's gonna be a mayhem man them cow bells and Sacramento.
That fan base is gonna be loud tomorrow. I expect
a great game. Prior to the series, I picked the
Kings to win. It just felt like they'd be a
bit much even though Golden State has his championship pedigree

(40:16):
and they've been there and done that. The Kings are
a good team. The Kings are a good team, and
for them to lose Game five at home and have
an elimination game, go at Golden State where Golden State
has been so good, and win that game, and now

(40:37):
we have a deciding Game seven at home and Golden
State has been bad on the road. I like my
pick prior to the series. I'm gonna stay with it, obviously,
but it's not gonna be easy. Golden State. They champions
for a reason. They are champions for a reason, so
it's not gonna be easy. I expect a great game,
but I'm rolling with the Kings because I had the

(40:59):
Kings to this series winning it. But I would not
be surprised either way. If Golden State, one would not
surprise me. But I'm the still roll with the Kings
because that was my pick prior to the series.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
What do you think the better matchup for the Lakers is? Like?

Speaker 3 (41:15):
Who?

Speaker 1 (41:15):
If you had an ideal way of getting a team
to play against, who you think it is?

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (41:24):
I mean to me, I think I think it would
be sacked to be honest you.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
Everybody says Sacramento because they're young, but they're young and good.
They are good, They're Golden State is battle tested. They're
gonna run guys off a lot of screens. The thing
with Sacramento is can you slow down? Dearon Fox? Can
you limit Elik Monk? That that's the key because they

(41:49):
are both so dynamic. I mean, we basically gave Malik
Monk's career life last year and he balled out for us,
and then he leaves and goes a Sacramento and so
I would say the Kings just because of the inexperience.
But the only way to get experience is to get it,
and they getting it now.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
I'm gonna go with Sacramento to lose this game. I
think that Golden State is going to show that they
can do it. That's t J. Hutchman's out. I'm LeVar
Arrington for everybody here at up on game. We got
Jonas Knox of The Jonas Knox Show coming up next.
Stay tuned in this Fox Sports Radio. We'll talk to
you next week.
