Now we're gonna go to Plexico's neck of the woods
and go to the Eastern Conference. We just saw the
Miami Heat eliminate the New York Kniggs last night. Used

(01:33):
a great game, great performance by Jalen Brunson. You hate
the way it ended, bad ending for Brunson, Yes, but
that's sports for us in tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Well, inter go, what would you call it a bad
ending for brincel It was a bad ending. You can't
do a no lookie and you're you're only down two, right,
I mean you got you got, you got it where
you can tie the game up. You're in the middle
of the key.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Why are you gonna look Why wouldn't you see where
you're throwing the ball? Why would you look away? I said,
you know what, this is what you know what it was,
plex It was a if you make the catch that
Plexico Burdus makes to get the touchdown the ice the game,
you become a god in New York. But if you
drop it, you become the hell.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Right.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I just think that that was a moment where no
look past. If the dude catches the ball ties the game, boom.
Brunson is like, you're looking at him like, oh, this
is a god amongst me. You know, he's a guy
in New York. But it didn't go that way, and
then you become a hell like people are people were
looking at it like dang, Like how you do a
no no look past and you're only down too in

(02:45):
your facing elimination Like it's kind of you know, it's
just a bad it's a bad.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Way for it to end.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
I mean, listen, the mom Heat is a tough basketball team, man,
sure now going on to the to the Western Eastern
Conference Finals, and me and you guys both nobody gave
them a chance to get out of the first round
with the Milwaukee Bucks. I mean, obviously some things happen
when Yanna's going down, and especially with Tyler harri or

(03:13):
breaking his hand. You just thought that the Miami Heat
didn't have a chance to move forward. But man, Jimmy
Butler has been playing stellar bass. He has you talking about,
you know, forty thirty, forty fifty, and it just seems
that he just makes all the right plays at the

(03:34):
right time when they need plays to be made. And
that's when that's when superstars are born in this league
and all through sports and I got miss. I didn't
know that Jimmy Butler was just good of a basketball player.
I can honestly say that, and he has changed the
whole perception for me and I think everybody watching him

(03:56):
that he is the official leader of this basketball team,
which are basically role players that that buying to the
concept of Miami Heat basketball. They're gonna defend, They're not
gonna take a lot of threes. Uh, They're gonna be physical.
And I think that's one of the things that has

(04:17):
powered them through to the Eastern Conference Finals is that
when when these guys defend and they hit the glass
and they're getting up and down the floor and jim
and Jimmy busts and Jimmy buckets is just getting buckets
and being consistent game in and game out. Man, that
is tough to beat men. And they have an area
and a confidence about them defensively that they buy into

(04:40):
and it's impressive to watch. And moving forward to Game
seven with the with the Boston Cellers in the seventy
six ers, I just think that the Sixers let it
get away the other day in Philly, and it's gonna
be a tough game for.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Them to win.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Boston Game seven, that crowd is going to be amped up.
And for the game that Jason Tatum was having, you
got to capitalize on that.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Man.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
At one time he was like one for I don't
know ten or eleven or thirteen, and down the stretch
he just hit one.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Three. Man, he just kept going. And after the.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Game he was interviewed and he said, humbly, I'm one
of the greatest players in the world and I'm gonna
keep shooting the basketball. And that is what confidence is
all about, what it's all about, because I've been in
a situation to where I've dropped two or three passes
in a row, and like, you got to get yourself

(05:38):
in there now. Nobody is going to help you get
yourself together. And I've seen guys I'm sure that you
have to win basketball, football, whatever the sport may be.
Get off to a rough start and some guys just
going to tank, and it takes a lot of It
takes tremendous confidence man to be mentally strong when you're

(05:59):
going through the game he had and and still be
able to come out victorious in the end with the
ending that he had. And this is gonna be tough
for Philly to win this game. They should have closed
him out of Philly. But man, it's Eastern Conference Finals. Man,
it's going to be exciting. It doesn't matter who makes

(06:19):
it out. But you can't count the Miami Heat out
at this point. Dave shown us that. Listen, they resilient,
they tough, physical, and they're gonna play Miami Heat basketball
whatever that means.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
You know, I look at Philly and I see a
team that honestly, there's there's a lot of there's a
lot of parody, and in this Boston Philly Philly round,
I think there's a ton of I don't know that
there is a series that has more defined like dope

(06:59):
players you know, in a series then in in that
Philly Philly Boston series, from from brown and and Tatum
to to obviously uh you know, to embiid And and Harden.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I just you know, it's just it seems like.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
For me, whoever comes out of that series, I almost
feel like I just I almost feel like that's the
team that's gonna win it. I kind of feel like
that's when that's gonna win it. This year, when it
all I feel like that's the team that's gonna win
it all. I think the East is gonna win it

(07:42):
this year, and I think whoever comes out of that
series that's gonna be the team that wins it all.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Miami continues to get slept on.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
They I don't think Miami. I don't think Miami can
beat those those two teams. I don't think Butler can
do it by himself. I know, I obey you. I
know bam Is. He's nice and he brings up, he
brings you know, you got two playing teams and East.
Nowhere's the conference finals. You know that in the Lakers
and two playing teams. And and when does that like

(08:11):
when does a playing team really turn into being that
that time?

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I mean, the playing thing is a is a new thing.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
But you know, everybody made all the Bulple Championship will
help out the Bubble Championship.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Outside the Bubble.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Yeah, well they're they're they look like they're on the move.
I don't know that they're gonna get through Denver, but
they they're on the move. I commend the Lakers for
how well they have done adapted and adjusted. They made
the trades. They you know, Darvin Haam as y'all mentioned,
came in. He's he's he's created a belief. If anything,

(08:46):
if you want to give Darvin Ham a ton of
credit for something that is not debatable, he gave that
team a belief that did not exist before he got there.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Like they're there's like.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
A level of like and if you know Darvin Ham
as the player, then you'll you'll you'll you'll you'll realize
why he coaches the way that he's a hard nosed,
you know, like no nonsense type of coach. And he's
one of those type of dudes you respect, you know
what I mean. Like when he played, he was a
high flyer. He dunked hard like he was one of
them dudes, Like he dunked with authority, like that dude,

(09:23):
will you crank on you?

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Look up Blue?

Speaker 3 (09:27):
That man used to drop hammers on people the way
he dunked on you. And he coaches the same way.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
His game is.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
It's super explosive, it's high energy. He's got those dudes believing.
And to me, you you know you've coached with me, TJ. Like,
my whole thing is is I could teach you all
the stuff that I need to teach you in order
to be able to have success. But if you don't
believe in yourself and you don't believe in who you
are and what you're doing, then it doesn't matter. It

(09:56):
doesn't matter how good and fundamentals are.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Being a tour is instilling self belief self confidence in
the players that you're dealing with. That's the biggest lot
of coaching. And that's what I think. That's the biggest thing. Way,
that's the biggest thing Darvin Ham has brought. Now, now
I'll say this, I don't know that everybody talks about

(10:19):
the stat with Doc.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I don't know why Doc Rivers comes up short in
these close out games. And I don't know where the
disconnect is with Doc Rivers and his teams in terms
of communicating on a level where they overcome some.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Of these issues. Hey, let me ask you guys this. So,
if Duck Rivers doesn't win this series, you think that
the seventy six is fire him?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
No, I don't believe. So, I don't believe.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
So don't put a lot of the blame on hard
and not being hard and consistently.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
I don't see how you lose Game six at home
with a chance to close it out. I don't see
how you do that now you gotta go playing Boston.
I'm going to assume and I will pick Boston to
win this because you had an opportunity in Game six
to close it out at home, and Tatum had one
of the worst games you could have of a superstar

(11:15):
heading into the fourth quarter and then turned it on.
You had an opportunity. You didn't take advantage of that opportunity.
My question is this, if everything that I said doesn't
happen and the Boston Celtics lose, do you come back
next year with Tatum and Brown? Or do we talk

(11:38):
about would you trade Jaylen Brown. I'm sitting here thinking
while you guys were talking for a Jordan Poole Andrew
Wiggins Cominia, would you trade Jylen Brown for those three guys.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
I'll say this, Jason, Jalen Brown's status as a member
of the Boston Celtics will be written in this Game seven, depending.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
On how well he plays.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Hey, Jalen Brown has been whole series will position him.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
And if you want to be a Celtic next year
or not. If the Celtics lose this game, just get
Game seven and Jalen Brown does not perform well at
home when they need him the most. They've already been
talking about it. It's been roomless.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
He does perform if they lose the game, he's played well.
Every game series he has played well. Yes, so if
he plays games like.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
No, we're talking about getting to the Eastern Conference finals,
it's a whole different ball game, TJ.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
It's time for them to go to the next level.
Like I think I think we would all agree, it's
time for Jalen and and uh and and going.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
We gotta go as well. Yeah, well there you go.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Discussion is like, oh, we gotta go, but we ain't
gonna be gone for long.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
We'll be right there.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Ya, Plexico birds LaVar Rington, I'm TJA, we'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Got DJ I with Sam on the.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Ones and Tuesday, and you know what we must do
before we get going. Two things, actually two things. I
apologize tall the women that tune in and support us
and listen. I would like to say Happy Mother's Day
to each and every one of you and out.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Here Other's Day. You guys are the.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Foundation of what we are as a country as men.
So Happy Mother's Day to each and every one of you.
And the second thing is mister Ryan Burschinger is nice
to have you with us. For those that don't know,
you know, for some reason, man, this show, we just
get guys promoted, they just leave us. So Ryan is

(14:06):
he's great. He's letting us use him today. He no
longer would have so he's come back to help us
out today. So Ryan, thank you, Oh thank you. Guys.
We appreciate you, you know, locking in with us this morning,
you know out here in sunny California. So yeah, we
appreciate that. And again I apologize. Happy Mother's Day to

(14:29):
all the mothers out there. Let's talk about this Washington Commander.
The cell has now been finalized.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
LeVar.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
We all know you were drafted to the then Washington Redskins,
which is now the Commander's your thoughts on that plexico,
Jos Harris now and did RG three become a part
of that big it's just your thoughts on the on
the sale now now that Daniel Snyder is no longer
a part of that fraternity, that is an n I.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Just hope the franchise can move on, you know. I
hope that the franchise can push I hope these new
owners understands LeVar, we gotta figure out how we can
get you.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
With the franchise. Bro don't have any fences to mend.
So you got it.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
It was some type of animosity, yeah, towards the owner
a man fences.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
I never had any issues with the fan base. I
never had any issue with the team itself, just the owner.
It's just the owner, TJ. So, like, here's the thing
that fan base. My daddy's from Virginia. He's from Rocky Mount, Virginia,
all right, And people don't realize that there is a
Rocky Mount Virginia, but there is a Mount Virginia, and

(15:49):
and and so my whole family pretty much grew up
the same way that everybody else down that Eastern Seaboard
grew up. They either Ridgskins fans and which was growing
up now they're the Commanders or or your Dallas fans,
Like that's that's for some strange reason, that's just what
it has always been. Now you get some sprinkled in

(16:11):
some Carolina Panther fans here and there, but for the
most part, it's it's it's Dallas and in Washington. So
I have had a love affair with with Washington since
I was a kid. Outside of the Steelers Washington was
the team that we watched the most and Dallas, so

(16:33):
I grew up on that. I've I've always it was
interesting when I got drafted by Washington. You get drafted
to Chocolate City. It's it's where my family is.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
You know.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
My dad was at Walter Reed Hospital when he was
recovering when he came back from being injured in Vietnam.
There's just so much connective tissue to d C for
me and my family. My mom and dad still live
in Upper Marlboro. My brother lives in in Nova. He
lives out in Northern Virginia. My younger brother, he lives
in in Upper Marlboro as well. So I my ties

(17:10):
and my connections. I opened a restaurant there. I spend
over three million dollars of my own money to put
businesses in our community in in DC. I've done countless
amounts of things in our communities there, and I've never
stopped TJ. I never stopped serving and supporting my community.

(17:31):
I just stopped being vocal and stop being out in
the front as it applied to the team because I
just didn't bang with the with the owner. So I
don't feel like I need to mend any fenses. I
just I hope that this ownership group that comes in understands,
you know, the value of what this community represents and

(17:54):
works to incorporate them into, you know, moving forward into
the future of what the franchise represents.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
I think that's the biggest thing for me.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yeah, man, you know, to say that Daniel Sneyder is
no longer a part of this ownership.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Man, he's six billion dollars richer.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
So I think that he'll be doing to find some
shot off the coach, some elevator prize.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Relaxing and chilling.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
But just like Lavosse said, Man, I'm from Virginia, and
you know, all we got was Washington in Dallas. I mean,
I remember back when I was seven eight years old
when the Saint Louis Cardinals were part of the NFC East,
way back when the stunt Mitchell and Rob Moore and
all of these guys and the Otis Anderson and like this,

(18:43):
This Washington d C fan base deserves better, if you know,
Like I know, the real Washington d C is behind
the White House, that's the real DC. And they had
one of the most loyal fan bases in all the sports.
I don't care what sport it is. They that's just
how this fan base rocks with this this team and

(19:05):
this organization. And it's refreshing that, you know, you look
on your social media and you look on the TV
and all of these lifelong fans are excited about the
next chapter of this organization. Being that just one man
is out of this organization and that's Daniel Snyder, and

(19:27):
that's unfortunate. So hopefully for them, they can continue to
get better. And I believe that, you know, Josh Harris
and this ownership group along with Magic Johnson, will improve
the work the workplace, the workspace for the employees which
is most important, and put a product out there that

(19:47):
can compete every every Sunday and compete to win the
NFC East or maybe a World championship moving forward. But
uh yeah, I'm just excited for you know, I know
a lot the people that I grew up with who
are die hard Washington fans and all we got back
then when I was growing up, man, when I fell

(20:08):
in love with the game of football, it was because
of one person, and that man's name was Art Monk.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
And my mom was a was an Avid. Avid.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
I'm talking about She was a Washington fan through and through.
She loved Monk, Gary Clark and a fun bunch and
Doug Williams and Darryl Green and all those guys. Back then,
we didn't have cable, so we sit on our crates
and watched Sunday football and we had three channels. There
was three, ten, and thirteen and whatever game was on television.

(20:44):
We didn't have any professional teams in Virginia, and every
Sunday I would sit there and just watch the Washington
Commanders then Redskins play football on Sunday, because that was
all we got. And I said to myself, I said,
I don't know who this man is that is running
around with the same color skin as me. He's diving

(21:07):
all over the place. He's jumping up in the air
and making you know, these beautiful catches.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
It was like a work of art. And my mam
would go crazy.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
And I said, you know what, if this man can
make my mom feel like this, I want to try
to give her.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
The same joy. Hey. I started playing way off subject.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Hey, just for y'all listening, Man LeVar and Plexico sons. Man,
them boys can play some damn football. They be sending
me video of they boys playing. Goodness, gracious them boys
could play.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Hey, no boys, I didn't know. Hey, I listen, they
can play. Now, I'll say this, I knew. I knew
my boy was destined to be some type of a defender.
I don't know why I felt that way. I don't
you know what what made me come to that conclusion.
But that's just what it was, you know. But it

(22:05):
was interesting one summer when we all went we went
as as a family and took a little family vacation
at at little little state dip.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
And you had him running routes. And I ain't think
nothing of it.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
And and for what is worth its his his eighth
grade year is his ninth grade year.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
He drops, he drops the ball. He's a big thinker.
He drops the ball.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
But I just think back to that time y'all was
running routes in in the uh in the backyard.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Bruh.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
The dude might end up being a receiver. He might
outgrow the position.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
If he he might, he might have to be He
could be a tight end. They got him playing tight end.
They got him flambers. He's so smooth.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Though.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Son has so much creativity in his reas game.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
All home by God. I mean, he's a receiver. He's
a receiver.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Those one on ones that I send y'all, those are
my teach tape bro his creativity for his agent, because
you know, one on ones and if anything at the
line of scrimmage is a lot of creativity and being
able to stay calm in those situations at that age,
his ability to have that type of creativity, you don't

(23:23):
see that, And I'm not surprised because again, you played
at such.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
A high level that he's been hearing this so long
that it's all starting to make sense.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
I'm gonna tell you the funniest thing about what you're saying, though,
is his personality makeup. Elijah's personality makeup is the same
as crews that if you were to be around them
and see how they are with like, it's the same
exact type of deal, the way they're wired, like the
way they like respond to you, and it's like you

(23:55):
look at him like like it's almost like you don't
want to say that little arrogant little dudes, you know, have.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
A little arrogance, but they got a little bit of that.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
They got that little bit of to him of that
they're kind of the same dude.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
So I've gotta have a little edge to you, man.
And we see little crew killing him in the flag
as well.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
And he so he's so young, he's so young that
he he he saw. I mean the way he built you.
I think Plexico is daddy, the way he building.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
It.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
I didn't ask you that he nine years old.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Plexico wears ie nine and a half shoe get out. Yeah,
nine years old, third grade. Oh my greatness, he has flounderless.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Bro like he like five too. He some, it's unreal,
unreal before before we transitioned.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
You know what I wish I wish the Washington d
C football faithfuls like I wish them so much well
man like, it's so like I love them so much.
Like my love, my heart for them has always it's
it's it's always been. It's always been straight love for them.

(25:19):
And you know what they like you said, plex they
deserve to have an opportunity to be happy again. Like
I'm not saying you gotta win Super Bowls or anything
like that. All I'm saying is is can the football.
It would be nice for the football to matter again.
And I hope that that's where you know, things are.

(25:40):
Is that this man releasing this team from from what
it's been you know.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Captive of for all these years.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
I really hope uh and and I believe for for
the fan base, this would be a great moment in
time for them to be able to move forward and
just be happy about having an escape to see their
their local team or the team that they're rooting for,
you know, compete and play football and it be about football,

(26:07):
you know, not about all.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Of these text some time. It's takes tex of time.
It takes some time.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
But I believe with the president in place, the changes
in this new ownership, the changes their head in the
right direction.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Wish the best for him.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
The NFL is better when this franchise is competitive, doing
things the right way, treating people the right way.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
So let's see what happens. Wish them nothing but the best.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Before we get going, we gotta go once again to
our man, Isaac Lowinkron is Low with the updates.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Alright, yfls, We're gonna have a new NBA champion this
season because on Friday night, in Game six of the
Western Conference semi Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the
Golden State Warriors, one, two to one one to take
the series four games to two. The Golden State head
coach Steve Kirtz hold it like it us.

Speaker 8 (27:00):
To be fair. This team probably, you know, ultimately maxed out.
That's probably where we should be. This is not a
championship team, you know. It's if we were, we'd.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Be moving on.

Speaker 7 (27:14):
The Lakers are moving on from a two to ten
start to the regular season to a seven seed in
the West, now to the conference finals, where they will
face Denver in Game six of the Eastern Conference semi Finals.
East eight seed Miami defeated the New York Knicks ninety
six to ninety two to take that series four games
to two, Miami advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for

(27:36):
the third time in four years. Starting to go viral
right now, already over seven hundred thousand views, a person
on social media with the user name Jordan Fool Jordan
Fool very humorous anyway, They tweeted a video of disgruntled

(27:57):
Knicks fans exiting Madison Square Garden last night stomping on
a poster of Julius Randall. They pride the poster down
from a walkway and about a dozen fans started stomping
on the poster of Julius Randall and anyway. In Major
League Baseball right now, the Tampa Bay Rays have a

(28:18):
one to nothing lead over the Yankees in New York
in the bottom of the second inning, Reds and marlin
scoreless in the second, Mariners and Tiger's scoreless in the second,
Cubs and Twins in a rain delay in Minneapolis. Fellas
back to you.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Boy, New York can be rough on you when they
want to be. Man.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
Fans, bro, you you played great, they love you. As
soon as you have a bad game, you trash. It's
oh man, But I mean it comes with the territory.
You gotta take good with the bad. You take them
both in there. You add the facts of LII, their
facts Lai Sin. Hey man, y'all know this whole show
has pretty much been basketball dominant because we are versatile individuals.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
You know, we not just football players, but we are.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
Now, let's really get into it. They've released certain games
of the NFL schedule, and do we figure the Jets
will get a ton of prime time games now with
Aaron Rodgers the Chiefs, they have a Black Friday game. Now,
what's your take on let's take on that Black Friday. Man,

(29:27):
they just.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
The tickets gonna be the tickets gonna be on sale.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
Hey, hey, are the tickets gonna be Black Friday priced?
What everybody want to know? I know they're not, So
what what's your thoughts on that? And you know what's
odd to me? I'm looking at the teams with zero
prime time games, right, the Falcons none, the techne the

(29:55):
Cardinals and Coats none.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
What surprises me is the tech.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
When you draft a quarterback as high as they did
number two in CJ. Strouw, we one would assume they'll
get at least run prime time games. So that is
somewhat surprising. So the schedule makers and things, you don't
think the Cardinals are gonna be much of anything that

(30:22):
can get real interesting down the stretch. Now they losing,
Kyler Murray ready to come back? Do you plan where?
Do you say we take it for a Caleb like that?
That's a real scenario. So yeah, you just listen. You're
looking at that far already.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
If the card you've been so high on what Kylin
Murray has like Coli.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
But why would you say that?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
Because you know how to NF How did Kyler Murray
get to Arizona.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (30:52):
Josh Rosen wasn't showing anything, and so they said, you
know what, We're gonna draft the replacement. Now, Kyler Murray
can play, but it's obviously something in his personality that
are rubbing his teammates the wrong way. So now you
get up there, smoke does fire. Yeah, you get up
out of that contract and you reset it. Get a

(31:13):
rocky quarterback on a rookie deal. What a first year
head coach will be a second year in Jonathan Gannon
And see, I'm sorry, not not Jonathan Gannett. Yes, Jonathan
Ganning because offensive coordinator is in Indy. Yeah, and you
just reset the clock with Caleb Williams. I can see
that happening if they're that bad. So the schedule release.

(31:36):
What's your takes on it? You have any thoughts strength
the schedule? I don't believe that matters. Now, we don't know.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
I just want to see one team, you know, take
a leap and to get better, and that is a
Los Angeles Chargers. I've really been I've been high on
this team for the past you know, two years. They
got it and they are just missing a couple of pieces.
I believe defensive, believe that they can compete in this division,
which is already great Patrick Mahomes. You know Russell, he

(32:06):
didn't play well last year. I believe he will play better.
And I just don't understand what's holding this team back.
As as Stalely is the head coach, I believe if
they don't make the playoffs this year, if they don't
play well or better, I believe he's going to be gone.
But offensively, you see Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, these

(32:27):
guys taking pay cuss to remain with to Justin Herbert,
I think that says a lot about what they believe
in that quarterback and his team. I mean, obviously, Austin
Actula asked for a trader a couple weeks ago, and
he's one of the most you know, dynamic players running
back from the line of scrimmage as far as yards
and touchdowns can concern in the game. I don't think

(32:50):
he's going anywhere. But I just want to see them
take that next step of being able to compete in
the AFC West, to get to the playoffs and contend
for a championship, because I believe they just have that
they have the offense, but defensively, the Chargers have always
been a for next team. They've never really had that

(33:13):
stout defense except when Rodney Harrison and Junior saying, I
know those guys were playing back in ninety three to ninety
four when they went to the World Championship, Sean Marry
and Steve Foley.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
They had had a few guys, but they never really
had that stout defense that they need in that division
to get to the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
So for Justin Herbert, I believe he's a top three
quarterback in this league. But they have to go out
and put it on the field so everybody can see
how good this team really is. But for the Raiders
in that division, I don't know what direction they're going
a quarterback, I don't know who the quarterback is. I

(33:55):
don't know what they're going to do. But for the Charges, man,
I want to see the Charges take that next step.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
I was curious that they didn't give the Jets more
primetime games.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
What what you mean? They got like four? They got four,
but I would have thought they would have been in
the upper.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
About sixteen weeks v. Seventeen Jets. No, No, No, Jets
got five. The Jets have five prime time not four five,
it's the maxis six.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
The Jets and the Niners were the two teams on
that second tier level of primetime game.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
That's a lot. I thought was like, why why would
fallas in a season?

Speaker 3 (34:29):
That's okay, but answer me this, Answer me this, Why
would there be more Dallas games prime time?

Speaker 5 (34:39):
You know that take us. Dallas is going to get that.
That's just a response. We're going to get it for
every time.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Yeah, the Cowboys, just those two teams along are going
to get two prime time games, whether it's Sunday night
and Monday Night.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
It's always been that way. So that's two for Dallas.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
They're going to get four or five every year just
because of who they are.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Do they deserve that position? No?

Speaker 4 (35:06):
With the New York just have five primetime games this
coming season. If Ann Rogers was on the team, no so,
but five in a season, that's a lot.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Man, Yeah, that's quite a bit. But it's quite a bit.

Speaker 5 (35:22):

(37:34):
Also Game seven between the Sixers and the Celtics and
that winner versus the Heat So who do you guys?

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Foreseeing the NBA Finals? Ah? NBA Finals moving forward? Man? Wow?

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Eastern Conference right now? Eastern Conference fund not NBA Finals right? No,
I want you to go Western, then Eastern, then In
and then who.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Is in the conference finals.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
I am going with the Denver Nuggets because you called
them already with us. Yeah, I'm going with Dima Nuggets.
And I am going with the improbable not impossible Miami.

(38:23):
I am going with I believe that the seventy six
are going to get it together. I believe they're gonna
win this game.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Joel Embiidy gonna have a special performance, which I know
that he knows that he needs to have, and they
are not going to let Jason Tatum have one of
those forty or fifty point games. I think Jaylen Brown
is going to be good, but the Boston Celtics need

(38:53):
Jason Tatum to be special, and he had a special
fourth quarter, but I just think moving forward, he's gonna
have to do that all game long. And if seventy
six are going to find a way to win this
basketball game.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
You know what's interesting about the Sixers, what makes me
feel good about them is the player who's the quick
player that.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
They had, Ty's Maxi.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
Maxi has been the difference maker in this series.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
If they're to.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
Win it, it's gonna have to be because of his
quickness and his speed. But I'm going with the Celtics.
They blew it. I think the Sixers blew it, and
I just think that, you know, I think the Lakers
are playing strong right now.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
So even though I like Denver, you know, I'm gonna
go with the Lakers in the Cell believe it. Well,
we'll take you on the bandwagon. Man. I'll save a seat. Oh,
I'll save a seat for you. Man. We appreciate you
guys tuning in.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
