All right, we got a lot to get you. We'll
we'll talk basketball, obviously, Ken Boston Force a game seven
that'll be tonight. We'll we'll talk about Lebron mentioning, possibly retiring.

(01:37):
We'll touch on those things, all right. But first I
gotta say it's interesting because in bringing up Lebron James,
there was a war of words that took place a
few days ago and it included the Hall of Fame
great and big time media person Shannon Sharp and what

(02:03):
we'll say, the former first number first number one overall
draft pick in the NBA at one point, Kwame Brown,
who has had some very very interesting takes that has
thrusted him into a viral sensation of takes on certain situations.

(02:24):
They had a war of words, guys, and here's what
Shannon Sharp had to say that got Kwame Brown in
a lather.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Will say, Kwame, of all the people, he should never
ever question anybody's breakness, because this is what we know.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
If be't a mount.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Rushmore for bus in the NBA history, whether he's the.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
First head, the second head, the third, on the fourth, he's.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
On Mount Rushmore a bus NBA player, there's no question.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
And then he's going to question the guy that whether
you say he's first, second, he's top five of the
great player to ever play.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
All Right, that was Shannon Sharp going after Kwame Brown. Well,
Kwame didn't take too well to what he had to say.
And here was and prepare for a couple of beats bleeps.
We know this is a family, family show, so you know,
just put it in context and just tell your son

(03:25):
or daughter, your child that you know, well, this young
man was a little upset.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Here's Kwame Brown's response, Go.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Find you a wife, dick, Tom dummy, what you're doing
your spare time when you're not on first tape?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yoah.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I'll fight over Lebron. Anybody who's talking about Lebron, I
fight over Lebron. I'm on Twitter with it. I'm on
the side of the court with it. That's what I do.
That's a hobby of mine. I'll fight over Lebron. Sweet
sits in the dass.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
There was a whole lot more to it, but we
I did not hear that, I'm assuming.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Let me tell you, I can't get over thick tongue,
dummy and the way he said it.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I mean, it.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Got a little personal. It's now gone beyond the realm
of sports. But just give me, y'all. You know, what's
y'all's take on on? You know, when these things what thing?
I mean, what are we talking about. We all know
that Shannon Sharpe is going to defend the Bron James

(04:38):
at all costs.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
We understand that he's a super fan of Lebron James
and everything that he does. Shannon Sharp is going to
be there to have his back. But I'm thinking that
this is the first time I heard I heard that
that that that that bickering between the two. I'm kind
of thinking that it has to go back to the

(05:00):
the Game four. I remember this vivid leader the other day.
Lebron James has the ball at the top of the
key and Yoka just guarding him with like thirty three
seconds on the clock, I believe, and Lebron he has
to take that shot. And that's one of the things
that that has you know, been with Lebron throughout his career,

(05:22):
is that Listen, he's the greatest score of all time
in this game. We know that one of the top
five greatest players to ever play.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
But he has to.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Take that shot to maybe get a rebound, office a
rebound or it maybe even take make the three and
they go up one with thirty six thirty four seconds
left in the game.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
But Lebron is always going to make the right basketball play.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I thought that he needed to be a little bit
more selfish in that moment, uh, you know, being in
the spot that they were in, down three to zero,
the seasons on the line, and he passes the ball away,
and I think that kind of rubbed a lot of
people the wrong way, Like, yo, man, what are you doing.
You're the greatest score in this game? You know, you
take that shot in that instance to help maybe make

(06:10):
the shot go up one or maybe somebody can get
off with some rebounded and you tie to score up.
And that's one of the things that I remember. So
I would assume that those two guys are going back
and forth about that play or whatever may be happen,
But and we're talking about that was the play. Shit, Yeah,
Shannon Sharp and uh and kwamme listen. Everybody knows the

(06:31):
guy is a bus but he doesn't have to attack
him and that and that fashion on national television. I mean,
come on, man, the man has a voice. He can
have an opinion on what. You know, he thought the
play should have been made. I mean, he was a
number one over all picked too, and his career isn't
paying out as well as everybody thought it was. So
with that being said, listen, Kwame has a voice. But man,

(06:56):
I just heard that. Was the first time I heard that.
It's really it, really it really Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Now.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
I'm with plaques on that first time I heard it.
We know Shannon Sharp is a huge Lebron James fan.
Like Black said, he gonna defend him to the end.
Would it isn't too much?

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I mean, like some of the things that Kwame said
is something there's some validation to it. He found if
you're a media personality, but that's what but that's who
he is.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
To me.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
If you show me who you are, that that's fine.
I have no problem with it. Just like SIPs of
cow Boys, guy, maybe you guys are gonna disagree with
what I'm about to say about this. I don't know
anybody that plays twelve years that's a bust. Kwame Brown
wasn't a bus. I'm with you there, He's not a bust.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I'm with you.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
He played twelve years in the NBA. When your bus
is when you play two or three years and you're gone.
That's a Marcus Russell, that's a bust.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
This dude played twelve years in Greg Golden, now, Greg Golden,
that's a bus.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
He didn't have the type of career that was expected
of him because he was the number one pick.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
But to call him a bust, he is not that.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
He just didn't have the type of career a number
one pick is expected to have. So I just wanted
to put that out there, at least in my eyes,
Kwame Brown ain't a bus. You don't play twelve years
as a professional and you're a bus. He just wasn't
the type of player many expected him to be. The
beef is Kwame doesn't like the way that Shannon Sharp

(08:29):
defends Lebron. I don't have a problem with what Shannon
Sharp does either, because he has shown us that he's
a huge fan of Lebron, and yes he will defend him,
but I've also seen him criticize Lebron to a certain degree.
He needs to be better. He needs to do this better, that,
so forth and so on. You haven't seen that when
Lebron didn't have a good game.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
But I may.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
But I mean for all those times that he may
do that, like it is so understood that he of course,
like Kalme said, Kwabi said that man was ready to
fight John Moran's dad. And then I said that and
he said yes, he said, man, you're talking about a
dude that was ready to fight John Muran. He said,

(09:11):
John Muran carrying a gun, not because he just carried
a gun, he carried it for Shannon Sharp sas.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Oh, so see again I didn't know. Oh, there was
a lot more audio to it. Many reference reference to
Shannon Shaw. I don't recall him being this much of
a super fan of Lebron James when he was in
Cleveland and.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Mine was not.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
It was or is he just a Laker fan and
now that Lebron is on the team, he's taking more
of a liking to Lebron James because he's a like
a Laker fan. I don't remember him being this vocal
about Lebron he was in Miami. I don't, I don't,
but he wasn't on TV when.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Yeah, he wasn't around and by the way, by the way,
Kwame brought that up to as to why he was
and on TV apparently, Uh, he brought up the elevator
set up situation.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Uh call me. I will say this.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
He said a lot of ignorant things in terms of
the language that he used, but in terms of the
constanity you're saying, he puts some he put a t J,
he put some homework in. I'll say that somebody, somebody
was feeding him the information that he needed where he
they they gave him some real some some silver bullets

(10:30):
and he put them bullets in the.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Chamber and was letting them go, is what I'll say.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
So, so you're telling me that Shannon Shaw was not
on TV when Lebron je was playing for the Mimmy he,
I don't believe.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Maybe at CDs, but not in the debate format like
he is now with Undisputed.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
No. I think he's been on it for quite some time. No,
not when he was off. He was off for a
while though. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
It was based off of Yes, yeah, it was based
off of an elephot He's basically a Lake, a Laker
fan turned Lebron super fan. Well, he's always been a
Lebron fan, but but he took it to you know again,
as as TJ said, he took it to the show
that he's on. Now he's become such a media sensation.

(11:12):
Everyone listens and pays attention to what he's saying. And
and now people are hearing it and realizing the extent
of the type of fan to.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Where he's willing to go to Lebron and and and
I mean over anything and everything over I.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Mean, he was ready to fight the whole Memphis Christly
team and John Moran's daddy like like let's go, let's go, like,
let's have it over Lebron.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
And I just, I just I think I got to
be a sharp no doubt about him.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
Like all I'm gonna say is as media personalities, I
have players that I'm fans. So everybody knows I'm a
Michael Parsons fan. Everybody he knows that. But one thing
I will never do is sacrifice the integrity of the
job that I do. That's what that's what we I mean,
that's what we're here for.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
I think Ken he's such a good player, it's almost impossible.
And could it be the same thing with Shannon defense
of Lebron.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
No, no, because it goes outside of the realm of
balance and sensibility. That's that That to me is where
it goes like it's just too much. It's too much,
and that might be considered to be an opinion, but
it's just too once it gets to the point.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Of where it's it's he is, it's.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
All about Lebron with Shannon, and it's all Dallas with
the other one, like it's just it's.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Just Bron, James Wood Lebron.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
James defends Shannon Sharp that the way he defends him
with Lebron.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Who is the best tight end of all time? Is
he gonna say Shannon Sharp?

Speaker 5 (12:52):
Oh, that would be an interesting question. That would be
an interesting question. I think Shannon Sharp is the great
tight end of all time. Now I will say Tony
Gonzalez is a dope tight enda will be Travis Kelce
no question I answer, but about it. But think about
this though, when it's all said and done and you

(13:15):
look at what a Travis Kelsey's doing, you know who
was the original doing those things of receiving tight end
that could block but didn't have to be a devastating
blocker with a great Rotio gate.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
So much Antonio in the conversation.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Yeah, but Shannon Shannon six five bro Shang Sharp is
the originator of the receiving tight end done. Like you
could possibly throw Kellen Winslow Senior in there and and
that would be a great debate. But Shannon Sharp to me,

(13:53):
is the greatest receiving tight end outside of the most
complete tight end, the most complete greatest tight end. To me,
he is Gronkowski, hands out, He's Gronkowski is the greatest
all around tight end to have ever played the game
to me, Now, wherever we all around, all around, all around,

(14:13):
all around, now receiving tight end, I'm going with Shannon.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
I'm going with Shannon.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
And that's what makes it hard to have these type
of debates because Shannon Sharp is so legendary and what
it is that he did.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
He shouldn't be that big.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Of a fan boy of another of of of another
player in our current leagues, of any of any league.
Just he's too highest status to be that type of
dude on on air where it's become that's his identity. Like,
who's going to identify Shannon Sharp as a tight end
or played a Super Bowl chap, everybody identified Shannon Sharp

(14:48):
as a Lebron James.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Fan, I mean, undisputed as a super fan platform to
be so much more than I bet he ever imagined
he could be when he became a part of that show.
All right, Well, speaking of Shannon, yeah right, we're going
to keep it. I mean, he is the show. I mean,
let's be clear, I mean he's the reason why the
show works.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Ken the Boston Celtics force a Game seven. We're gonna
touch on that. This is up on game Hope you're
enjoying the show. We'll be right back in a second.

Hutchman's out of Plexico burs. I'm LeVar Arrington. In moments,
we will discuss some more of Lebron James, but more
focused on Lebron James and Hiss. Yeah, it's comments after
their their swept loss to the Denver Nuggets. We'll we'll
get into that in moments, but first let's talk about

(16:29):
in preview what's going on in this Eastern Conference Finals.
It looked as though the heat had knocked the fight
cleans or, as the Ogs would say, smooth out of
the Boston Celtics.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Lo and behold.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
The Boston Celtics have shown a chin, have gotten up
off of the canvas, took the eight count and came
out swinging.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Now they have forced a game six. It's in Boston.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Some would say if Boston is able to win this
game tonight, that it could be the game that's right,
is it in Miami and then the last game would
be in Boston.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
My apologies, my apologies.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
So if they don't end it in Miami and it
makes it back to Boston for Game seven. That this
is this is the end of This is the end
of the road for what looked like a heat kind
of cruising into the finals series. What what what are
you guys looking for for tonight? What do you think

(17:35):
the keys are for for the teams to to to win?

Speaker 6 (17:41):
Your best players gotta play like your best players. If
I'm gonna just say this before I even keep going on,
I like Boston to come back and win this series.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
It's never been done, but it's the first time.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
For everything. Tatum has been playing well. Robert Williams is
getting more time on a court, which I believe his
help Boston. He wasn't playing early in the series. Grant
Williams one playing, he's playing a little more. I just
feel like Boston has a ton of confidence. And I
know Jimmy Butler came out and said, Oh, don't worry

(18:14):
about it. We're gonna go back to the man. We're
gonna win the game. We're gonna have no business. I
don't know man if Boston will. Obviously they haven't. They're
not just letting Jimmy Butler single handedly beat them. But
when you look at it, you say, Jimmy Butler is
getting a lot of guys that are Caleb Barton is
playing extremely well. Gabe Vincent, who I would expect to

(18:35):
play tonight, has played extremely well. Duncan Robinson's played well,
Max Strus has played well. So He's got a lot
of guys that are playing well. But at the end
of the day, I believe the Boston Celtics overall are
a better team. Once they won Game four, I said, Oh,
they gonna come back and win this series, and I

(18:57):
still believe that to be the case. I believe the
Boston such to win this for sure. If Miami doesn't
win the night, Boston's winning Game seven, But I like
Boston to come back and do something that's never been
done before.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Man, the Miami Heat on a version of basically just
look like you said, tz accomplishing something that's never been
done up three to zero and lose this series. If
the Miami Heat do not win this basketball game, they're
going to go to Boston and get be about twenty
for Game seven. And it's looked like to me the

(19:33):
last game, Game five, that the Miami Heat just didn't
play with that energy and that passion that you need
to close the series out. And I kind of thought
that once they got down fifteen twenty, they were saying, listen,
we're looking forward to Game six, beating these guys at home,
and we are going to compete this series and wrap

(19:54):
and finish this series up. But man, every time that
I count Jason Tatum out that game I believe was
Game three at Grade four that he had in Philly
where he went like oer for ten, oh for eleven
and he scored like thirteen points in.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
The fourth quarter.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Every time I say that this young man is not
ready to for the moment and he doesn't deliver, he
steps up and delivers when his team needs him the most,
and that's what makes him a superstar. And the first
three games, Jalen Brown just wasn't putting the ball in
the basket.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
He wasn't performing to his ability.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
And in the last game he shot the last game
is game game five. He shot the ball better, knocked
down some threes. And I think what has helped Boston
self just get back in this series is that Grant
Williams is getting less minutes and now Derek White is
playing more and he is the X factor for this

(20:51):
Boston Tellson Queen coming off the BA yeah minutes, and
he's the sixth man of the year, so he hasn't
really performed up to his ability. Also, but Derrick White
and it's getting fifteen to twenty points a game. I
think he's going to be, you know, that X factor

(21:12):
for the Boston Celtic's moving forward. But listen, man, the
Miami Heat don't do not close this game out. I
don't know the severity of Gabe Vincent's injury, but he's
going to play tonight if he's questionable, because they have
to close this series out.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Man.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
If they lose this series up three to oh man,
it is going to be a long offseason for the
Miami Heat. When they were just on the verge of
sweeping this basketball team, and now you go to Boston
in Game five, you lose by twenty twenty plus points,
and now you're on the way to Miami for a
game six. And I was just basically saying that this

(21:50):
series is over Miami. He was going to close these
guys out, and I'm not sure that the Miami Heat
can can win this game to night. If Jason Tatum
comes out and plays the way that he played in
Game five to mind me, he are going to be
in trouble.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
There's been so much credit given to Eric Spolstra for
the job he has done as the head coach of
as coaching the NBA, and very very I was about
to say, and very very warranted. And we were having
there were discussions, whispers, murmurs, whatever there would be that
Missoula would be possibly facing being fired if they got swept.

(22:31):
And now we're having a conversation about the Celtics roaring
back to possibly be able to take the series. And
the one criticism that so many people and experts were making,
pundits were making about the game was that Missoula wasn't
making the adjustments that were needed and necessary during the

(22:52):
course of those early games in the series. Maybe he
should have called the time out here and there, Maybe
he should have made a different adjustment defense. Maybe it
should have been personnel moves that took place that didn't
seemingly were taking place out there. And now all of
a sudden, it seems as though they've got their footing.
They they figured out what they need to do defensively,

(23:13):
which is, to me, you got a smother Jimmy Butler,
you got you got to make sure Jimmy Butler is
not the guy that beats you for for Miami, and
they seemingly they they've shot better. Obviously, I do say,
and looking at the coaching and giving Missoula his his

(23:35):
props on getting this team prepared, as he took the
rap and said he wasn't doing a great job of
getting them prepared to play, I thought that was pretty
dope that he jumped out there and took the bullet
for a team because they were shooting like some trash.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
They was calling they was calling for his head after
that Game three, and I don't really believe. I mean,
it had something to do with Missoula to say he's
not making the adjustments. But I think what hurt the
Boston telt it the most is that Jalen Brown was
like three for twenty three in the four game missoul
two and three. So when you have an all star

(24:10):
player not playing up to an all Star caliber, only
having six points and in the last two games of
a fourth quarter, I mean, listen, that will.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Hurt any basketball team.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
But the fact that he was able to rebound in
Game five and contribute to the offense. I think that's
one of the things that helped helped Boston the most
and Derek White, but he has to come out and
play that kind of basketball game tonight and in the
game something. He just has to be more consistent of
an All Star basketball player in which he showed in

(24:44):
the first three games.

Speaker 6 (24:45):
Let's make sure, though, if Mossoula can take all the
blame and fall on the sword, Let's make sure he
gets his credit now if they do come back, because
we can't just give it to the players. If Missoula
was gonna take all the blame for them getting swept
or possibly being swept and things that like brockden is
out what a tendon tearing is on. That sucks for him,

(25:08):
but that may make things easier for the coach. Now
he can get like Plaque spoke of earlier, Derek White
will get more minutes now and he's playing extremely well,
and so if he was willing to fall on the swoard,
I ain't.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
We're not prepared enough always.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
This is my Let's make sure he gets his credit,
because it can't be all coach when you lose, an
all player when you win.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
But you just can't make me believe, as of a
guy that has played a professional sport and other professional
sports in the playoffs, that a head coach of any
professional team can step up to the mic and say.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
I didn't have my guys ready to play.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Listen, he took the blame for it, but from a
from a standpoint of going out and competing them players
in a national basketball as socially in the playoff series,
that should never be the case. Correct should they should
always be ready to play. But if you're on that team,
now you got you you need to go out and

(26:11):
actually give more effort and play harder to support a
coach that jumped on the sword for you knowing that
y'all just went out there thunk it.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Up, and you you you.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
You made a personal decision to know to go out
on the floor and not have high energy.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Well, I'll say this, I think it has been coaching.
I think the Celtics have largely in part been too
inconsistent to allow the blame to be placed on the
head coach and consistent in how they were shooting. Uh,
inconsistent in the level of which the intensity, as you

(26:50):
guys both mentioned in their their play now that they
seem to have figured out what the personality that that
they need, the approach that they need coming into these games.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Man, it just it.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
Does look like history can be made. But at the
same time, I don't know that history can be made.
I just think that it is a trigendously. I just
think that it is a tru short cant and and
chickens could fly and pigs can too. At some point,
I guess it's all possible.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
The show.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
I mean, I don't know, man, but I will say this.
Winning four games straight, and even though we saw two
sweeps just take place, we saw two sweeps just take place.
I still think when you get into a seven game series,
and in the series where the team gets up three
to zero on a team, I think that is a

(27:47):
daunting task to be able to put four games consecutively
together to win it. I'm well, if they can put
three bad ones together, why can't they put four good ones?

Speaker 6 (27:58):
I don't know, it'll know history? Why because it's never
been done. But eventually it will be done. Why not,
That's what it's Why not us.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
And the Devil nuggas already to learn who they're going
to be playing in the NBA. Fine, I will never
root for the Denver Nuggets.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Ever. Wow, never, that's a strong word.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Ever ever, never, ever, never ever respect on them, guys, man,
just because they slipped your Lakers.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
I didn't say I don't don't respect them. I just
said I would never root for him. Ever, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Who they play.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Speaking of I'm going for them, speaking of putting some
respect Pittsburgh Steelers, You're I'm going for the Steelers straight up, sag.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
So it's so real. It's so real out here right now.
You just said you was going to root for the Steelers.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
Tjok you know, I mean, that is how you got
your nickname, TJ.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Who's your mama? You know what I mean? Like, that
was Pittsburg that gave you that nickname.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
I just didn't realize that TJ was such an intricate
part of turning uh that game into uh uh its
fierce rivalry that it turned into I mean, shouts.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Out the tower bill. I guess that was too. He
disrespected the terrible towel, the same method that paid one
hundred dollars for that town bill.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Two swing and a mask, good morning, good afternoon, and
good night, Ramon Loreano.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
And that is the ball game.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Ryan Presley strikes out the side in the ninth to
punctuate a five to two victory for the Astros at Opland.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Alrighty, that was the Astros final call for the play

Speaker 5 (30:19):
Did we get any calls? Did anybody call? Nobody's called
in all right. We will continue this throughout our shows
all the way.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Up until training camp.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
We are going to find someone that was associated with
what took place in that elevator that fateful day where
a terrible towel I mean to be from Pittsburgh. Maybe
we might not uncover this, Maybe somebody might. They might
not be willing to go forward. They might not come
forward on that. That's kind of a pretty big deal.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
The towel is twenty dollars, so they made eighty dollar profit.
I'm sure they went and bought another one.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Why wouldn't they? And they was able to sell it
to T. J. Huschman's ode, and they can say that
was the town that started.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Re serves me correctly. This incident happened in Cincinnati, right, Nah,
it was.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
It was in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 6 (31:10):
We all sat he sat down, got on the elevator, bro,
and I was like, let me get buy you a
terrible child twenty dollars.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
He told me. No, I said, an elevator where at
the hotel?

Speaker 6 (31:20):
At the hotel we were getting ready to lead a
hotel and get on the bus to go to Pittbowol.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
What hotel was it? You remember? It was that older
hotel B. I don't know the name of it, but
will probably the William Penn, the William.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Penn probably the old one. And so I go out.
I got it.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
I'm wearing it as a streamer during the game, and
Marvin saw it and he tried to He took it from.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Me, like what are you doing? TJ.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
I'm like, here we go this pregame. So then he
wasn't looking he had in his pocket. I ran up
and took it from him and I gave it to
huge accent. So I was walking off the field and
I saw Hugh Well the game had just sent We're
getting ready to walk off the field, and I saw
it kind of peeking out a huge back pocket. So

(32:05):
I went up and grabbed it out of huge pocket.
And I was running off the field, swinging in the
air like the Steeler fans do. And then something just
came over me and I got close to the interest
and I was like, man, let me just shine my
shoes with this towel.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
And I sat down and shined them. Didn't just like
taking knee or anything like that. You sat down and
shined your shoes with the terrible towel. I did do that.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
We won that game, though. Man, we won that game
and lost in the playoffs. Man, damn, that's what since
he was doing back then. I don't know why y'all
was doing that. Like Marv was like Doc Doc Rivers.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Man. We were playing too. Man. We had so much
damn talent, man, we just that's crazy how much talent
y'all had on that team.

Speaker 6 (32:44):
Man, on every it was just so many things going on, Bro,
Like I mean, it was nobody doing things that we
were doing outside of football. Bro, I guarantee no other
team was getting away with some of the things our
guys was getting away with. They lucky social If social
media was out back, then our whole team would have
been done. Minus what's pac Man on any of them teams? Nah,

(33:06):
he wouldn't. I never played with pac Man. He came
after I left. But just things that guys were doing, man,
that I just thought was normal. And then as you
get older, you realize like, whoa, no, they was getting
away with this and doing that.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
I thought it was normal because it was the only
thing that we knew at that time.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Man, Well that's true. That's fair too.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Let's pay off the teas Lebron James announces his retirement,
are y'all are y'all buying that?

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Or or I'm not buying it?

Speaker 3 (33:34):
I think, uh, you know, emotions were involved when he
made that statement, being that he had just been swept
by the Devinuggets, a team TJ would never cheer for.
But he's always stated that Listen, he wants to play
basketball with his son, and I think that that right there,
will you know, propel him to keep playing if it's

(33:55):
another two years. That's what he has one to do,
is play with his son. But trust me, Lebron James
has too much pride to walk away from basketball after
just being swept in the playoff series by the Devil.
He's going to come back to avenge his legacy.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
He's still one of the best players in the world.
He's not leaving silent threat. That's what that was a
silent threat.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
So so who was a threat to the management?

Speaker 6 (34:26):
The threat is what does the threat mean? Get some
more players? That's what he wants. He want Kyrie. Silent threat. Bro,
I'm telling you it's a silent threat.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
I mean, I mean, you do have the you know,
the ear to everybody's camp, so you do.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Know a lot of that. I don't have to air
to none of that.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
I just believe it's a I mean, Kyrie Irving was
that game for He's frequent the Laker playoff games. It's
a silent threat. Go get Kyrie. Spending this money? Who
cares about.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Uh, Let's get Kyrie. It's out of control.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
We got jk ask coming up next. That's Jonas Knox.
