Just go to wherever it is that's you subscribe for
your podcast and look for up on Game and hey,
if you liked what you hear, then you know, make
sure you look at up on Game presents as well
with some cool extended content. All right, but without further adode,

(01:44):
we talked in the first hour about Dak Prescott and
consecutive twelve win seasons and him feeling good about the
changes that have been made and what direction they're going
in and building, and it came across as almost a
shot at well, his former offensive coordinator. Now I could

(02:05):
be wrong. I'm not trying to instigate here, but I
will say it's interesting because when a shot is fired,
generally fellas there's a shot being shot back. And uh, well,
there was a report Charles Chargers news Kellen Moore can't
get enough of his new quarterback. All right, this was
in fan Nation, the Charger report. Here was the say,

(02:28):
here's what mister coach Kellen Moore had to say, and
I quote, y'all ready for this?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Are you ready? Yeah? There's some obvious stuff. Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
The biggest thing is obviously his arm talent, but his
combination of size, throwing ability, athleticism. I mean, there's only
a few on earth that can have that combination and
play at such a high level.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's really fun to see.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I was a six foot kind of hanging I was
a six foot kind of hanging on quarterback for six
years speaking of himself and I laugh. There's a few
throws sometimes he makes that. I say, I would never
think about trying that throw, but here we are. It's
opened my eyes to some things. It's opened my eyes

(03:31):
to some things, which means that so maybe his eyes
were closed until he saw Justin Herbert doing some of
the stuff that he did. I mean, I'm just sitting
here looking at this quote, Fellas, and I immediately thought
to myself, well, you used yourself as the example in
what you were saying, But were you taking a direct
shot at what you had?

Speaker 5 (03:52):
What say, y'all listen, I don't fault killer Moore one
bit because he had a good quarter back and Dak Prescott.
He had a good quarterback. He has a better one
now in Justin Herbert. As simple as that, he has
a better quarterback. Justin Herbert is a better quarterback than
Dak Prescott. Clip that. That's the quote of the day.

(04:14):
Is there's the mind drop. But I'm not saying anything
that we all don't know. He's a better quarterback. He's bigger,
he's faster, he has a better arm.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
And so.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
That's just a fact. Herbert can make some throws that
not many can make. And so when he says like, Wow,
that opened my eyes, I bet it did, because now
you're going to be able to do some things with
Herbert in this Los Angeles Chargers offense that you couldn't
do with the Cowboys just off of God given talent.
Herbert is a big dude that can throw. I get

(04:52):
a story when Herbert was coming out man and we
were doing our pre draft training. Some of the trainers
was catching a ball with a baseball glove. I don't
mean like batting gloves, I mean a baseball glove.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
They're like it's hitting my hands too hard.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Literally was catching the ball with a baseball glove on
his left hand and nottting on his right hand because
he said his hands was hurting too bad.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
That's how Herbert is throwing the ball man.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Kellen Moore definitely has an upgrade at the quarterback position
with Justin Herbert. I'll rank him as the third best
quarterback in football right now, behind Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.
And he can't go on the record and say it,
but Mike McCarthy basically made him scapegoat of everything that

(05:44):
happened last year in Dallas with the season obviously they
had two twelve win seasons, but not being able to
win a playoff game. Mike McCarthy threw him under the bus.
And you know, Staley came out this weekend said he
compares Kellen Moore to Sean McVay when it comes to

(06:05):
play calling. And I'm saying to myself, if you're Sean McVay, uh,
why would you want to compare him? If you're stately,
why would you want to compare him to Sean McVay.
The best play caller and all the football is Andy Reid.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
So uh and uh uh.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Kellen Moore definitely has his work cutout for him. In
in uh in La because Mike Williams and Keenan Allen,
both of those guys wanted to stay. They did not
want to leave. Why would you want to leave when
you have a quarterback like Justin Herbert, Because it's not
going to get that much better around the league if
you're a wide receiver from a quarterback standpoint, throwing the

(06:47):
ball to you. And I'm looking for the Charges to
make a splash, I really am. I think they are.
They can be the second best team in the AFC
behind the Kansas City Chiefs. But you have to go
to Kansas City and dethrown the current goat of the
league and Patrick Mahomes and Kelsey if you want to

(07:10):
get get to the championship game and hopefully win the
Super Bowl. But the Chargers definitely have the team to
do it. And it's all going to come down to
Kellen Moore and Justin Herbert.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Let me ask you guys this, because my whole thing
is this, There's a lot that was connected to There
was a lot that was connected to Kellen Moore in
terms of what was taking place in Dallas. Uh mixed,
mixed bag reviews. But let's just say the Chargers do better.

(07:47):
Let's just say Justin Herbert has an MVP caliber year
and they don't get outdueled uh in the in the
playoffs and throw away a big ass lead during the
course of the game. They won ten games last year
they lost seven. Let's just say they improve. How much

(08:08):
pressure do you think that that puts on Dallas and
on dak or on McCarthy if they're not projecting, if
they're not having the same type of year, Because we
know what you know about After what three or four
you start to have the conversations about who you think
are the elite guys and who's doing what they're doing

(08:30):
in the teams and what they're looking like. But after
like maybe the first perceived four games of the season,
if you're seeing after four games that Justin Herbert and
this Chargers team is doing some phenomenal things on offense,
but you may not be seeing so much of that
from Dallas, does that play any part? Does that play

(08:51):
any part? And let's say Dallas is doing okay after
those first four games, maybe their record is good, but
it's not indicated through their their offense production. Is that
does that become a thing like I'm sure fans, even
me as a fan. I never played offense, so I'm
just curious you guys did play offense.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Do you do you think that that will become.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Like a pressure cooker or a pressure of some sort
for the Dallas offense. Are they paying attention to what
Kellen Moore is doing and what Justin Herbert is doing.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
The players can care less, but Okay, Mike McCarthy will
be paying attention.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Okay, Heary Jones is paying attention.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
One thousand percent. He gonna pay absolutely one thousand percent.
He's gonna pay. Let let Keller Moore go to the
Chargers and do what he gonna do, which I believe
he will, and let the Cowboys take a half step back.
He gonna be like, Yeah, they'll be paying attention, no
doubt about it. It's nothing you can do, but but
you can do about it because at the end of

(09:56):
the day, Justin Herbert is a clear that a quarterback
to what than Dak Prescott is. Yeah, and it's not
it's not no knock on that, it's the truth. It's
praising Herbert. But the Chargers are gonna be a really
good football team. If you look offensive line, check receivers,

(10:20):
check quarterback, check run game, check, defensive line, check, secondary check.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
If J. C.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Jackson can come back healthy and play all you played
with the Patriots linebackers, where's the weakness? Where's the weakness
with the Chargers. They got the team, they got it.
They have a tough division. They have a tough division.
But where's the weakness in on the counter? I mean
you could say the same thing with the Cowboys. Just
as good, slightly not as good at quarterback, the offensive

(10:48):
line maybe not as good just because of the injuries.
But the Cowboys have what I just said the Chargers have.
The Cowboys have a really good team.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Yeah, Cowboys don't have what the Charges have. When you
look at the wide receiver. From the wide receiver position
to running back is a It's a clear upgrade for
any office accordinator to go into that situation.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Well, I think that this creates such an interesting storyline.
I mean, it's two different divisions. But we talked about
how the NFC is a wide open division. What isn't
a wide open division is the AFC and UH and
the AFC West is a juggernaut. I mean, you're talking

(11:37):
about Kansas City and the Chargers. I don't know about
the Raiders. I don't know about the Broncos, but I
will say if anyone can take a team from five
wins to more wins, it's going to be a Sean
Payton lad team. So just by by thought process of assumption,
you'd have to assume that the Broncos are going to

(11:59):
be a much more improved team and a much more
competitive team this upcoming year. But how much so, I
don't know. I have zero faith and uh McDaniel, uh
in Vegas. So I think it's a it's a two team,
it's a two team division, it's a it could be
a possible third, but we'll have to wait and see.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Uh yeah, this is up on game that was t J.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Huchman's out of That was Plexico Burrs giving you some
great perspective on well what seemed to appear to be
Kellen Moore confirming the truth of what we just heard
on this show that uh, well, Justin Herbert is a
better quarterback for Kellen Moore to coach, and well you
could expect to see more from Justin Herbert if that's true.

(12:44):
Because Kellen Moore is considered to be a young, bright
play caller in this league.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
You're listening to up on Game. We're going to take
a quick break.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
On the other side of the break, speaking of those Raiders,
Max Crosby had something interesting to say, and does it
turn this more into a circus type of narrative.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Going on in you know, Vegas?

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Or is there some truth in some validity to Max
is what he had to say. We'll get to it
in a couple minutes. We'll be right back Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 7 (13:17):

Low and Cron coming up pretty soon. But before we
get to my Man, we got to get to some
Max crosbyisms coming up here right Welcome back in. It's
up on game. We're live from the Tiret dot com studios.
If you didn't know, now you know. It's me LeVar

(14:31):
Arrington with t J Huchmanzada and pleuxco burst.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Fellas.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
We just talked about the NFC West and the one
team that we do not have well let me not
speak for y'all, but the one team I do not
have real confidence in, and it sucks because one of
the homies is on the team, on the coaching staff. Coaching,
but I just don't think that this team, led by
the head coach that they're led by, has a real

(14:57):
opportunity of going in the right direction of being a
good team. Well, they got Jimmy Garoppolo as their quarterback
and broken foot. Okay, he passed, there's the whole thing
with him passing and being ready and the contract and
what that's connected to and whatever. But if things were

(15:18):
to go wrong with with Garoppolo, it's interesting. This is
what Max Crosby had to say about that scenario playing out.

Speaker 9 (15:27):
Obviously, we got Jimmy g he's coming back, he's gonna
be healthy, but you never know what's gonna happen. Tom
Brady's competitor, the greatest of all time, So at the
absolute worst, you know, if everything doesn't go the way
it's supposed to and we need him, I would not
be surprised that Tom Brady shows up and narrated jerks.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Wow, what all right?

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Well?

Speaker 5 (15:46):
So wow, Well guess what, Jimmy, your team has got
a lot of belief in you.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (15:55):
Can you believe that he just said that on it
in an actual interview. I love Max Crowd.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
I think he's a hell of a player, But damn, Max,
you talking about throwing your quarterback under the bus.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
What does Tom Brady even have to do with this conversation?

Speaker 5 (16:13):
I mean, I know he joined in front of office
in some minority or majority of ownership stake, but talking
about playing a quarterback position.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
For his team, I mean, Wow.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
Believe in your teammates Jimmy g they don't believe in
you man, the Raiders, they're probably I think that they
will being at Sean Payton now is now in Denver,
and I don't believe Russell will play like he did
last year. I don't believe that that was a Russell

(16:49):
Wilson that we all have seen in the past, and
the way he's been playing football. He's actually been a
very very very good quarterback for a long time, and
Sean Payton being a quarterback Whisbury. I think that Denver
will improve, but I just don't know about this whole

(17:10):
Josh McDaniel and this new Jimmy Garoppolo thing. I believe
that this is one of the reasons why Josh mcdaniell
was kind of seeking comfort in New England when he
was offered all these He was afforded all these opportunities
to become a new head coach and he had and

(17:31):
he turned down because he had job security and Tom Brady.
So that's one of the reasons why I believe he
didn't become a head coach. And he threw Derek Carr
under the bus by trading him or sending him to
New Orleans when they didn't do as well as they projected,
but it's a big year for Josh McDaniels. I believe
that the Raiders will finished last in the division, and

(17:54):
then who are the Raiders going to point the finger
at Josh McDaniel. Absolutely, you have to absolutely what you
got ToJ You don't acquire Davante Adams.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Listen, you don't even want to touch on that.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Because Max Crosby says this because he's a fan of
the game of football. Jimmy G has been hurt pretty
much every year he's been in the league, and he's
had an opportunity to play, he's been hurt, and so
he's looking at it from his perspective of Jimmy G's
never really available when we need when the teams that

(18:33):
Jimmy G has been on has need of them, he's
been out with injury.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
He's not there to help us.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
And so on the other end, Tom Brady is the
complete opposite.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
He's always available. He's now part on.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
Her and maybe it's a I believe it's just a
bunch of wishful thinking because Brady has bought into the
Raiders ownership and the name is thrown around often when
you talk to Las Vegas Raiders because Tom Brady is
now associated with him.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I don't believe it's going to happen.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
I believe that's just more so just wishful thinking on
Max Crosby's part. But man, would that not be lovely
if that was to happen Because you just touched on it.
Davontae Anams went there for car cars no longer there
right If Jimmy G can't play, and even when Jimmy
G is playing, he throwing that ball to the tight
ends more so than the receiver. Davonte is gonna be pissed.

(19:24):
He gonna be mad, bro, he gonna be mad this season. Absolutely,
he's gonna be mad this season. You just watch midway
through the season his body language and his facial expressions.
He's going to be upset because this isn't what I
signed up for, so to speak. And that's what dude,
Brian Hoyer gonna be their quarterback. We know Jimmy G

(19:47):
is not playing seventeen games. That's a fact because he's
never done it.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Man.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
Listen. I asked him hard away the other day and
I said, have you ever heard of a situation? You know,
he's in the scout with the Pistons or of the NBA,
I said, have you ever heard of a situation with
a team bringing a player and sign him to a
multi year contract knowing that he needs surgery prior to

(20:17):
the season, and the team would still sign him. He said,
I've never heard anything like that before ever in my life.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Like, you would think they would at least sign Stidham.
He knows the offense, he played well when you bench Car,
he played well, and you let him go to a
divisional rival. Like to me, it makes no sense what
the Raiders are doing. But hey, they've been doing a
lot longer than we've been talking. So maybe they got
a plan.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
They better have one.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Maybe they got a plan, but I don't know. They're
gonna go.

Speaker 6 (20:48):
Through three coaches in three years.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
That's the role there. Head. Just think about what I
just said.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
You knew you were getting rid of Car, You let
your backup go to a divisional rival.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Who was going to be the quarterback, So there was
only had no.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
They had no choice but to sign Jimmy g because
what was their other option. That was their last option,
and so that's why they signed him.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
James Wisson is up there I mean, you know James, but.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
I believe they wanted a guy that was somewhat familiar,
not only with the offense, but familiar with the coach.
And Josh McDaniels he went, and then it seemed like
they ran Car out. They just they didn't have that
familiarity with him, and so, oh yeah, yeah, we had
Jimmy and New England. Let's go get him. He needs surgery.

(21:42):
That's sorry, He'll be all right, knowing his injury history.
I mean, if he isn't available, this is really incompetence
on the Raiders' behalf, because you're counting on the guy
that you can't count on.

Speaker 6 (21:56):
And if he's not healthy the come day one and
he gets hurt, all the onus is on the Raiders
in the front office.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
All right, well, we'll have to see how that plays out.
But right now, let's see what's playing out in what's trending.
What's going on in news right now with my man
Isaac lowing Brown, What you got my.

Speaker 10 (22:19):
Guy labar Woods trending right now in interesting development surrounding
New York Yankee star Aaron Judge, because a short time ago,
Judge himself told reporters that the toe injury that's kept
him out for the last sixteen games is actually a
torn toe ligament. The Yankees had been calling it a
springed toe, just a spring. Judge also told reporters he

(22:42):
still has pain in the toe when he walks. The
Yankees are six and ten since Judge has been out.
Very interesting verdicts surrounding the Yankees. One game going on
right now in London, England, where the Cubs have a
one nothing lead over the Cardinals. That game in the
top half of the second inning. Well in the NFL,

(23:02):
the Kansas City Star reported that a Missouri prosecutor has
dismissed a misdemeanor assault charge against Las Vegas Raiders receiver
Davante Adams for shoving a member of the Arrowhead Stadium
video production crew during a game against the Chiefs last season.
The crew member has filed a civil lawsuit against Adams

(23:25):
that is still pending. Fellas all yours.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Hey, thank you, Ilo.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Everybody always trying to get a dollar, I loo, man, chargers,
drop what you're gonna follow us?

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Man? These people in this world.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
Man, everybody always shanna hustle somebody.

Speaker 10 (23:39):
I've filed six lawsuits in the last forty five minutes.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yes, you're gonna win one.

Speaker 10 (23:45):
Check your check your inbox, dj O.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Hey checko Hey Ilo, have a great day, man, enjoy
yourself today.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Man, get that fine son into you.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Hey, hey, hey, hey, the dude that Devonte pushed. You
know what he said happened to him when Davonte pushed him.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
What happened.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
He suffered whiplash, a headache, and a possible minor concussion
from the incident. That's what happened on a push. Yeah
that he didn't even hit the ground. Yeah, well, you
know that's how these things work.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
And speaking of unbelievable and possibly outrageous, we heard Plexico
making outrageous claim about what he thought that the New
Orleans Saints would do, and he did that by using
Cam Jordan as an example. So well, let's give him
what he wants and let's have that discussion. Here's Cam
Jordan on what he feels New Orleans situation looks like

(24:44):
this upcoming season.

Speaker 11 (24:46):
Nobody ever has walked into a season and been like, Ooh,
I hope we win ten games. No, I'm trying to
win each and every game that we play. My expectation
is being twenty one and oh twenty two and oh
whatever it takes to get to a super Bowl, and
I want to be each and every team we line across.
The reality is we have potential. The mentality is we
want to as a defense takeover each and every game,

(25:07):
and there's no allowance to be like, hey, I think
we could be a twelve and five team. I think
we can win each and every one of these things.
And every game that we lost, every game that I've
lost in my last twelve years, so there was a
chance where we could win them. So if you say,
what do I expect, I expect the Super Bowl. I
expect to take Derek Carr DC four back to Vegas
where you know he just left, have a return run
at the Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
What y'all think, Matt, Yeah, DC four and Cam Jordan
and will return to Vegas for the Super Bowl. But
they'll be watching. They won't be playing in it, that
is for sure. I mean DC four, I didn't even
know that was his nickname, but I guess he went
to New Orleans and they they gave him a name
that we wasn't brought up to date on. But for

(25:53):
the New Orleans states Man, it's the same thing every
year LaVar picked them wins the division last year. T
Jay is very high on the defense and Laddermore and
cam Jordan, and they are supposed to be supposed to
be Davis. They'll be the best team in the NFC South,
but they can't even seem to get out of the

(26:14):
worst division in football. So I'm not hanging nothing on
the New Orleans Saints as far as getting to the
playoffs and winning the division, because they'll find a way
to mess it up, and Tampa Bay will probably win
the AFC South. That is crazy.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Everything Plexico said was pretty good except for the last
thing that came out of his Tampa Bay will be
in the basement.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
They gonna be on the bottom floor like.

Speaker 6 (26:46):
The alet of Falcons, the Carolina Panthers, And you telling
me that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gonna be on the floor. Hey,
I'm just going off the who's the who's the worst?
Who has the worst quarterback in the division?

Speaker 5 (26:59):
Call Carolina Tampa Bay Bright show better than everything they
got in Tampa until we see something further. I've seen it.
I've seen it every day in college. No, I see
it every day. I saw it all every scenear in college.
You ain't seen on the plane Monday through Friday. I
just seen it on Sunday. I'm gonna see it on

(27:21):
Sunday in about two months. You ain't seen it on Sunday.
I'm gonna see it in about two months. Ain't nobody
seen it? I see it Monday through Friday. Monday through Friday,
I see it. What about to day? You don't see
it on Saturday? No, No, I'll see it on Sunday
in about a couple of months. But I just feel
like the Saints should be improved. It felt like what

(27:41):
Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton last year or not? Andy
Dalton quarterback, quarterback, receiver, tight end to do it all.
But he does it all. Why I can't think of
his name quarterback with the Saints. He does he plays
tight and he plays special teams from Hill Taysom Hill.
When Jamis Winston went down, Taysom Hill comes in and

(28:03):
plays quarterback.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (28:05):
And the Saints just didn't have the type of year,
but defensively they're right there. Derek Carr is a good quarterback.
Like I said earlier, he had to slip up this pastere.
He didn't play the way he's played his entire career.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
I thought he played.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Will they are going to compete to win that division.
I believe they will win that division after that. To me,
it's the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons for sure.

Speaker 6 (28:29):
Okay, well, we have to see what's gonna happen with
Alvin Kamara first and foremost, and Michael Thompson.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Michael Thomas, even if he doesn't play he had Michael
Thomas hadn't played a lot in the last couple of years.
He hasn't been available. Chris Olive showed he can get
it done. Chris Olive show he can play the game. Defensively,
is where you mean you've got to play in a
Superdome Mercedes being but.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
He got us called posts Tajon.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
You know how hard it is to play there.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
Defensively, they are good, but you got to under look
where they're facing their division.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
They got six games again, they.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
Probably gonna go five and one in a division alone,
five and one in.

Speaker 6 (29:10):
Alvin Kamara is available on open to day.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
I like the Saints to win that division.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
He's able and it's a sainted and I'm saying it's
already suspended six games, but if the Saints do slip up,
it's gonna be the Carolina Panthers that win that division.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Not the Bucks. Okay, not the Bucks. I don't think
it's gonna be the Bucks.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
I'll say that the Carolina Panthers looked like they were
improving quite a bit towards the end of the season.
But you get a coaching change, and listen, ke Riich
is you know he? I think he got a bad deal,
bad shake. And uh and how did.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
He get a bad shake when you go down to
Jacksonville the last game of the season and you give
up twenty eight points to lose a game. How did
he get it? How did he get the bad shake?

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Well, I mean he wasn't coaching. He wasn't he was
coaching ended up as coats. What are you talking about?

Speaker 9 (30:03):
No?

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Right? Right?

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Was that your boy was coaching them at that point Saturday?
Yeah right, got kicked out, right guy?

Speaker 5 (30:12):
Boot Listen, even if Frank Wright was there, it's a
different team, different sealed, different players.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Doesn't matter. Everything is different. You're a different organization. We
got it wrong.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
You got it wrong.

Speaker 5 (30:28):
I mean you said the Bucks like you like the Bucks.
I'm I'm just saying to myself, who you going with,
Baker or Kyle Trash?

Speaker 6 (30:37):
Uh part of Cayl Trash because uh, uh, defensive guy
came out and said, Kyle Trash is giving us good
looks on the defense. And that says to me that
the team thinks that Kyle Trash is a better quarterback
than Baker Mayfield. Moving forward, your own teammate on defensive

(30:59):
side does not come out and make a public statement
like that and say Kyle Trash is giving us a
great look. They bought Baker Mayfield in to be the starter,
but is he going to be the starter? We do
not know. And Kyle Trash has been in this system.
What is this gonna be a second or third year
in the system? And Bacon Mayfield is just system.

Speaker 5 (31:21):
It's a new system because Dave Canal is from uh,
the Seattle Seahawks is not a coordinator, So it ain't
Byron Leftwigh system that Kyle Trash was in.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
It's a new system. They started from scratch.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
I'm just sitting over here and looking at New Orleans saying,
who is Derek Carr going through the football to Alvin
Kamara is suspended for the first six games, and I'm
just saying, where are they going to get the offense from?

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Oh that figure out a way, that's what good time.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
I'm wondering the same thing for for taf to do.

Speaker 5 (32:02):
You got you got Mike Evans, and you got Chris Godwin.
He got some guys to throw to.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I'm just wondering, do they have enough offense?

Speaker 4 (32:10):
You want to know who has the longest odds of
Well this is on wager talk, all right, but if
you want to know where Tampa Bay falls and uh
longest or odds to win the Super Bowl?

Speaker 6 (32:26):
Where would you put them? Tampa Bay?

Speaker 4 (32:31):
Their current current line on on.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Getting to the Super Bowl winning the Super Bowl, Tampa
Bay not even close.

Speaker 6 (32:40):
Five hundred to one, five thousand to one plus eighteen
thousand plus plus eight thousand.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
And you know the only team worse than them where
Tennessee is tied with them the Arizona Cardinals Washington.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Well, you need to just go a hand and pus
some money on to win that division.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Since you social the Houston Texas is at plus twenty thousand.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
The Houston Texas plus the.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Houson Texas is at plus twenty thousand, So the Indianapolis
Colts are at plus ten thousand.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
Like, no, then your boy the Mattress, King, Mattress, Macca,
whatever his name is, he might just throw a million
dollars on the Houston Texas and they'll go all the
way to the Super Bowl to him with one hundred million.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
The Arizona plus twenty thousand, there's some plusers out there.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Miss tap Base. I played there.

Speaker 6 (33:36):
I played a long time man, twelve years, and I've
never been on the team. Going into a season and
knowing that I was not a part of a good
football team. I can only imagine what that feels like,
going on to train the camp knowing and everybody's gonna
play hard, You're gonna give your best effort, but you

(33:56):
just know that you can't compete up with the other
teams in the division and you don't even have a
chance the championship.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
Hey, if you were curious, though, to just wrap this
segment up before we head to break the Carolina Panthers,
you want to guess their.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
Odds plus seven thousand eight the same?

Speaker 4 (34:21):
I mean, it's so hard for the same as Tampa Bay's.
It's the same as Tampa Bay. So it's the same
as Tampa Bay. You could cut that one anyway you
want to cut it, but it's gonna be the same
size piece of cake that you're cutting right there, because
they both have plus eight thousands. So there's long guys

(34:42):
for both of us. You're liztened up or Gay.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
That's t. J. Hooch was out of Plexico. Birds up,
lavoy are. We're gonna take a quick break in it.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
We're gonna wrap this thing up, put a bow on it,
and hand it on over to Jonas.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
So yeah, it's Fox Sports Radio.

right center field gap that's down.

Speaker 8 (35:30):
This will send Indy around third Dayla Cruz going for third.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
Here's the relay not in time at RBI triple for
Elie Dala Cruz.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
And he has just hit for the cycle.

Speaker 4 (35:45):

Speaker 2 (36:06):
All right, So it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
We had a guy, mister Whitehead, Jordan Whitehead of the
New York Jets, and the headline reads from Fox Sports,
Aaron Rodgers' arrival in New York is like Brady's in
Tampa Bay before we get up out of here. I'm
just curious, guys, do you find that to be a

(36:33):
inaccurate description of Aaron Rodgers' arrival into.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
New York City.

Speaker 5 (36:41):
I mean, you get a legendary quarterback that goes to
a team that seems like they were a quarterback away.
Now the start may feel like Brady. Let's see if
the finish can be what Brady gave the bucks and
so very early, real, preliminary. But if that's how they feel,
then they got to get out there and make sure

(37:03):
that the finish is the same as a start, because
you can't compare it to Brady if it doesn't culminate
with a Super Bowl victory for the New York Jets.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Plexico's boy Carton fully agrees.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
Oh man, listen, I get it, I understand, but let's
just make it clear and Rodgers is no Tom Brady.
We all know that. The career and the championships show
that alone. But I understand, I understand what he's saying.
But that twenty twenty one Tampa Bay team that won
a Super Bowl, they have a lot more They had

(37:37):
a lot more better players at the skill position, Chris Godwin,
Mike Evans, Fournett on defense, Devin White was playing out
of his mind, Shaq Barrett, JPP, Domakin Shue, and I
think on both sides of the ball, that Tampa Bay
team is better than the current New York Jets team

(38:00):
roster right now. So, uh, listen, or could it be
that the Jets roster with with them being so young, Plex,
But they haven't had a chance to really prove how
good players because the team did. You get a chance
to prove yourself every Sunday.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
But would you not say because you just named the
players from the Bucks, you didn't name any players because
their best players are young Sauce Gardener b A.

Speaker 6 (38:27):
B A puts together roster of veteran guys that are mature,
and that's how to play football.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
The Jets might possibly have players that are comparable, they're
just younger and they haven't done it for as.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
Not position, they don't.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Nah, there's not many teams that have what the Bucks
have at any team, and they had Grunk.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
I forgot Grunk.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
There's not many teams that you know, they had a
skilled players that that.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
Trunk right now, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Tom Brady.
So I understand it's day y'all because he came from
Tempa Bay and now he's with the Jets. But uh,
I still have the Jets ranked second in that division
behind the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Hm hmmm.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
That division, that division is gonna be uh it's gonna
be tough that that that vision has coming almost like
a and we know who in the basement, the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
We just don't know how to.

Speaker 6 (39:23):
And if Dalvin Cook lands with the Miami Dolphins, and
that's gonna be a problem of.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
Man, the Miammi Dolphins, they're gonna have too many good players.
You can have that they got too many.

Speaker 6 (39:32):
They get Dalvin Cook, you insert him to the offense
with all that speed. They got a wide receiver and
it's all gonna be on tour. But that that's never
here nor there. So I think that the the Buffalo
Bills are the number one Jets two, I'm going Miami
Dolphins three, and the New England Patrios will finish last.

Speaker 4 (39:56):
M hmm, geez, well, I'll tell you what that there.
There's a lot to that. It'll be interesting to see.
I don't I don't see it as being the same,
but you know what, I get it, and they gave.
They're getting a lot of confidence by getting Aaron Rodgers,
and Aaron Rodgers is one of the most gifted and
best talents to ever play at the position. Before we

(40:18):
get up out of here, I know I speak for
myself and for for the rest of our crew. Hey,
thoughts and prayers go out to Prime to Dion Sanders, Hey, man,
feel better, get well better, getting well right? Yeah, man,
we were pulling for you. Make sure everything is right
