Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Mg App, the King of sportsbook.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're setting you up with the information you need to
watch your team win.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Three is the inkame. We're here to break it all down.
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett emg App. Now we're live from your tail game.
Here's Brian no Hire, NFL vetteran Jeff Schwartz and sports
handicapper from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Oh, good morning everybody, Happy week two to you, second
fall NFL Sunday, right in front of our faces over here,
less than three hours away until kickoff, fellas, Good morning man.
Crazy before we get on to the NFL's the crazy
day in college football. Man, it was survival Saturday for

(01:00):
a lot of teams. Barn Burner last night as Colorado
comes back, pulls it out. You had what Georgia, Florida State,
both top three teams survive. It was just a survival
Saturday type of day. But man, what a night cap
last day? That was crazy?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
You knew with there were five ranked teams as road
favorites and I believe four of them were over a
touchdown at one point. I think Tennessee got steamed down
a little bit. There. You knew there's be some chaos, right,
Missouri won out right against Kansas State. Florida dominated Tennessee,
and the nightcap obviously Colorado Colorado State. I mean, Colorado

(01:40):
State had ten personal foul penalties and should have won
the game. I mean like they were better than Colorado
last night, which is wild because Colorad State is not
very good offensively. And I'm gonna do this whole thing
all week on Twitter, where I claim Colorado's gonna beat Oregon.
Organ's gonna beat them by twenty eight this weekend. But
it's gonna be fun anyways to pretend they're not. But yeah, look,
Colorado is done. He reminds me of USC's peak Carrol teams,

(02:05):
where USC's peak Carrol teams had all the celebrities. It
was must it was must watch. It was like a party.
It was the thing to do in Los Angeles. And
obviously this is Boulder, Colorado, but even in LA the
thing to do in Los Angeles. And when I saw
the celebrities there last night, and they're winning, right, They're

(02:25):
winning as well. So it's important to note that Shedre
standards looks like the real deal. Top ten ish draft
pick I would imagine, and they're three No, I have
their under three and a half. So we'll see how
that goes for me. I don't think I don't think
it hit cracked.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
I don't think it's more buddy, good morning guys. Yeah,
you're right, Jeff One went away from their season win
total already and I thought Colorado State. I actually watched
the game. I thought Colorado State should have won the game.
I was rooting for them, and you know, just to
put them in check a little bit. You know, there
was twenty fours out there. Of course, I got to
talk gambling right away, seven am in the morning. Here.

(02:59):
You know, there were twenty fours out there. I didn't bite,
but I really said, that's the side that has to
be right sooner or later, betting one of these books,
never thinking a money line shot had a chance, But
sure enough they did. I had the over in the game, though,
and I needed overtime for the over. I didn't think
after that first quarter I was gonna need overtime.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Twenty points in the first quarter, I think, yeah, I
had Colorado State first half plus thirteen oh wow. And
the reasons were simple. Can I give you guys a
little bet I like for next Saturday?

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Very off the topper.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
It's not out yet. And please, if you're listening to this,
do not change the line at all. Arizona State last
night lost twenty nine nothing. They turned the bowl over
eight times, and they lost three quarterbacks last night. They
host USC this weekend. USC's gonna beat them sixty nine
to nothing.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Okay in the first half.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Maybe please take USC in any way possible you can.
There's not enough points I think I could lay on
USC this weekend. Just giving you heads up the line crack.
What time do college football lines post tonight?

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Like five o'clock, five o'clock Pacific?

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Go to your sports book. It might even be up
because Arizona State's quarterback a situation so bad, but they're
down their four string quarterback. They've scored thirty nine points
in three football games. Have the US take USC? Please
off of by US off of bye?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Can you give us an idea what you think the
spread will be?

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Like?

Speaker 4 (04:27):
What do you an my guess will be?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
So?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Oregon was favored by thirty eight and a half against
Hawaii this weekend at home. Okay, my guess is it's
about thirty five. Wow.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Maybe thirty five and a half. But they're gonna be
up forty nine tohering a half time like USC, and
they're gonna not play Caleb woman in the second half,
so I would not like, I'd just take USC maybe
first half, but they're going to destroy Arizona State.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
It's dirty when that happens. USC was crushing Stanford and
then Caleb Williams didn't blame in the second half. They're like,
need to do this.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
I had the over. There were fifty two points in
the first half, the over sixty nine and a half
did not hit.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
That's that is just it's crazy too, how games can
completely flip where you watch that Colorado game last night
and Colorado had a hard time scoring. We thought it
was going to be up and down the field most
people did and it wasn't. And at the end they
need to go ninety eight yards and they do it
no problem. It was crazy. And then overtime it was like,

(05:29):
I forget what penalty it was like an illegal shift
or something like that. And Lewis Riddick was doing the
game and I agreed with him. He's like, oh, that's
not good. Second and fifteen that is like they picked
it up the next play. They scored the play after
they was crazy how it just flipped like that.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
So here's why I think that happens in a two
minute drill is because it's easier for operates to offense
to operate fast like that than defenses to sort of
like get set up and do their whole thing. And
when Colorado State all night was hitting the passer, they
were gaining after Sanders. But the two minute drill, man,
you get tired, Yeah, you get exhausted. The offensive line

(06:04):
sort of gets in a little bit of a pass
blocking rhythm. And Caloro has better wide receivers and quicker
wide receivers than Kloro Estate has secondary pieces. And when
you're going fast and fast and fast and fast, they
get tired, of course, right when you're huddling. And the
reason why you nick go fast all games you don't
have enough guys. You're gonna be too tired. Right, It's
just not possible to happen. But a two minute drill,

(06:26):
it can happen like that where just like it clicks
because you're playing so fast, you're not thinking so much,
just doing. And I always advise I tweet this a
lot too, like when a team is struggling on an offense,
do one drive a two minute drill, like just go
go tempo even the NFL, just like go tempo one series,
sort of get back into rhythm and then go back

(06:47):
to your offense.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
What do you guys think, By the way, what do
you think the total is gonna be in Colorado Oregon
next week?

Speaker 4 (06:56):
High sixties probably, yeah, I mean Oregon's probably gonna or
in the fifties. Yeah, Like I know that the Colorado
story is a lot of fun. But Colorado State guys
entered the game like one hundred and twentyth on offense,
and they averaged twelve points a game last season in offense,
and they pretty much had their way with Colorado last night.

(07:18):
And I think Oregon's gonna have do whatever they want.
The question is ken Orgon's defense slow down Colorado just
enough to make it happen, you know, to make this
a closer game than it has to be. And also
turnovers play a factor in it, right, I mean, you
know you always have turnover issues, which you never really
know when they're going to pop up, but it is, Uh,
it's gonna be tough for Colorado next weekend. Organ has lost.

(07:41):
They lost a home game in twenty eighteen when they've
had a weird fumble on third down trying to run
the clock out, and then they lost last season at
a home by three to their rival after Bownicks got hurt.
They don't lose games at.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Home, So guy against guys.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
I have a text from one of the linemaker's here
in town. One of the bookmakers sharingsas he's the head
book maker, actually said, Colorado a very good game for us.
We didn't win back the money we lost earlier in
the season the first two games, but it was a
very good game for us, six figure game for this sportsbook. So, uh,
you know, it's funny. I should have know. I have
a guy that I'm kind of trying to mentor a

(08:17):
little bit. He's a bartender in town here, and you know,
he's an admitted loser, and he tells me he gave
me a really really good, unbelievable DM and he's like, listen, crack,
I'm a hometown guy. Can you help me out this
year and I give him some little things and he
stayed his course so far, especially in preseason. He was like, wow,
I've never been part of anything like this winning. And

(08:38):
then he actually texts me though yesterday morning and said,
I just want to let you know I did go
out of my lane because I think Colorado is going
to destroy Colorado State? Like that was the ultimate? Like that,
shouldn't I have said, it's the first bet he's made
for six weeks. Shouldn't, But shouldn't I have automatically hit
the bet against Bartender dot com, bet against Bartender dot

(09:01):
com bank and bet a ton of money on the
other side.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
God, yeah, you know is a missed opportunity for me
right there. I feel I know you're not this kind
of guy, but in my head it's funny where if
somebody comes to you crack and says, hey, man, I
know you know your stuff. Can you can you help
me out? Can you school me a little bit? And
you say, well, first you have to admit you are
a betting loser, then I can help you out.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
That kind of guy.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
My name is Joe Public. I am and a compulsion loser.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Bitted loser. Yes, hey, before we look forward to Week
two in the NFL. If we look back to Week one,
something that was interesting the road dogs. Yeah right, road
teams were twelve and four against the spread in Week one,
and unders it was a big under week big twelve
of sixteen games hit. So it was all about underdogs

(09:54):
and unders twelve of sixteen games in both categories.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
That's going to change. That's going to change, though. It
has to change. It's going to change because I'll tell you,
I really think a lot of games, you know, in
Week one were almost like Week four in preseason. They
had to come out there and play these games, and
and it's opening weekend almost it felt like, uh, you know,

(10:21):
like I said week four, people want touchdowns, people want offense,
and offensive efficiencies are definitely going to be changing here.
I think I think we'll see I think we'll actually
see this is this is so unlike me saying this.
I think we'll see more just flags, defensive holding, past interference, uh,
to promote some more scoring. I really do, because you know,
the games that are low scoring, boring, grind it out,

(10:43):
defensive games is not good for ratings. So that's all
I'll say.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
I'm with you. Can we start with, with one game
so far in the NFL slate that I just do
not understand, Cracks. Maybe you can help them with the
action on this. Why are the Falcons getting so much money?
Did anyone watch the Falcons last weekend? A lot? That game?
Last weekend they beat a rookie quarterback starting his first
game on the road. They won twenty four to ten.
It was seventeen to ten with four minutes left. The

(11:10):
Falcons had thirteen first downs on offense, two hundred twenty yards,
were twenty percent on the third down, and were plus
three and turnovers. Wow, and now they're getting money today
hosting a Packers team the other without Aaron Jones. Okay, fine,
Crack I back at all.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Yeah, well Watson is.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Not playing either. They scored thirty eight points about him
last weekend. I don't I don't understand.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
The freest I agree though, Wow, this this game went
to three overnight. By the way I I Thursday morning,
I was doing a show eight in the morning, green
Bay was one and a half point favorite, and the
sportsbook I was in they were one and a half.
It moved. The other moved three points that day to
Atlanta minus one and a half. We were talking about
how surprising that is. Today's move Jeff is right minus
three minus fifteen at some sportsbooks, unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Something we're missing. Is there an injury that we don't like?
I know that David Bockdario left was put unquestionable in
your report earlier this week. I kind of out of
the blue. But he's gonna be questionable all year with
his just his age, Like he's just one of those
guys on the inter report each week. I don't get this.
I understand this is the hardest part for me as
a as a gambler, like the football side of things,

(12:16):
like watching the games and wagering based on who I
think he's better off the film versus like the actual
part of the waygering that typically is the opposite to
what I think. But this is like a football thing.
I just don't get it. Like Carol's offensive line played well,
Desmond Riddard was was eleven of twenty one, Like, what
are we doing here?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Guys?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Am I missing? What am I missing?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Well?

Speaker 4 (12:36):
In this game?

Speaker 3 (12:36):
The only thing I would say this isn't my argument,
but if someone's on the other side, they might look
at You're not convinced on Jordan Love. I know your
counter would be, you're not convinced on Desmond Ridder with
what you just laid out there, but you could be
skeptical of Jordan Love on the road in this spot.
And then he also think of the injuries. Aaron Jones
is nicked up. Aaron Jones was so wide open consistently
last week against the Bears. He was grabbing his hamstring

(12:59):
on the way scoring one of his touchdown. No, no,
Christian Watson, Right, So maybe it's that, Maybe it's you
don't think the running game is going to be good
enough and Jordan Love's gonna have to do more than
he wants to.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Atlanta is not a home feel advantage. It's not what
those places like Seattle, New Orleans.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Rise up, the rise up cheering section.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
Jeff worry about, Like, oh my, they're playing in Atlanta.
That place is school.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
It's a madhouse.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Matt Lafleur has won I think seventy five percent of
the games he's coached. Is a Green Bay Packer head coach.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Yeah there's an asterisk there.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Though, fair enough, but he's now want to know what
Jordan loved this season and they Packers look good, like
they were like a real football team. But they won.
They were good on offense, they're good on defense. Now
justin fields might not be very good. And I'm not
sure why people are refusing to have that conversation. He
started twenty seven games. We kind of sort of know
what he is now. But I the Falcus thing, man,
I just don't get it. It makes no sense to me.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Ye like I said, they just like I said, they
are a little banged up, and I think these injuries
there is the reason.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Why running back the line four points like that.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Yeah, you know, I just gotta just got a text
from someone and this is for you, Jeff, Oregon seventeen
and the total is seventy.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
So yeah, old, yeah. The look ahead was like fourteen
and a half, so shot a little bit since seventeen.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
What conference are you going to hone in on when
the PAC twelve goes away? Jeff, good, buddy, Right, you're
just gonna pick one.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
I'm eight and six this year in Pact twelve, and uh,
I always start slow, so this is good. This is
about normal.

Speaker 5 (14:26):
That's starting to slow. I'll take that, everybody.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I'm now one hundred and eight and sixty two. I
think one hundred and no, no, sorry, I'm no. I'll
tell you back. I'm one hundred and four and sixty four.
That's my overall pack twelve record.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Yeah, that's that's a that's not that's that's not a
little tiny, tiny, real sample.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
I watch.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
I watched seventy games.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
I watch every game, like I can only tell you
right now, I'm taking the.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
More important question is do you bet every game? Because
you should put that record.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
No, no, I don't get more so we do like
we do like majors for on the radio show. We
bet every game on the radio show. And I'm about
fifty five percent probably for the season that I don't
want to bet every game.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Crowds, Yeah, that's you know what that in that particular
we're talking about a particular conference or particular games, I understand,
but you're right, you wouldn't want to bet every game.
It may change the outcome off you're putting a bet
into it. And uh, let me tell you though, fifty
five percent. I know people at home were listening saying.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Well it's good.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
No, I know no, people at home, they'll say fifty five.
I can do that, really, try to do fifty five
percent lifetime. You'll be thrown out of some sports books.
By the way, that's right, you'll be banned from some sports.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
I'll give you. I'll give you one example of I
think why it's important to like watch the game if
you watch one and everyone says if you focus on
one conference, whether it's football and basketball, you tend to
win more money just because you pay attention to Oregon State.
Yesterday they beat Saniel State. I watched every rep of
that game. I might be the only person in the
country who's not a Beaver fan in watching the entire game.
Like Dju their quarterback, I think it was like thirteen

(15:57):
of thirty for three hundred yards. All you see are
the great touchdown passes, not the other throws that were terrible.
They go on the road to Washington State. Washington has
a great defense. They would be gonna Their offense looks
so much better. Like to me, it's a hammer Washington State.
Everyone's look at Oregon State. They see they beat Sanuel State,
had a bunch of yards, But how do you get
those yards?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Right?

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Has it? Look now they're on the road in a
tough environment. Like to me that people don't pay attention
to like that like I do in this conference.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
That's why you're mister Pac twelve and we get a
way to do title. It's gonna bother Big twelve, mister
Big ten.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
It's gonna be big turn with Oregon. I guess I'm
just gonna bet the under every week.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
I'm about mister sun belt.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Oh little little sundlt action, the fun the fun belt.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Fun belt, Yeah, fun belt it up right there.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
We're only like, what three thursdays away, three tuesdays away
from getting a Mac game for the first.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Of this year.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, we're close to those Tuesday Wednesday games.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Yeah, what's all this with the.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Uh there, there's there's like a big some kind you know, listen,
I don't follow this. This is the European thing racing
fs Wait wait wait, I know one F one Yeah yeah,
and it's just throwing a giant kink in town between
that and these hackers and all the casinos hacking all
the casinos. It's just to mess here right now.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Are you gonna go to the F one? You're gonna
get it like a luxury box for the for Bill Krachenberger.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
No, No, you couldn't give me a free seat. I
know it's crazy. I just said I get free games.
I get free raiders tickets for all these games. I
don't go.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
It's gonna it's gonna ruin Las Vegas Boulevard.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
Right it is, it is. There is a lot of
places now because room rates were ridiculous, now they've dropped
to ridiculous. Listen, it's not as poplar as they think.
All these hundreds of millions they're spending. Closing all these
streets down, closing the casino you know, casino viewing areas down.
They tore down these beautiful you guys have been to Vegas,
the beautiful fountains, all those beautiful trees out in front

(19:50):
of there, they tore them all down because they're putting
bleachers down.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Bleachers up, by the way, This is the main question
I want to know. Are you going to just hand
me your free raider tickets if I go.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
It's almost impossible to go to a lot of the
home games unless they're prime time, so because we do
our show by the time we get off, and then
again they are the later games, Yeah I can go.
Oh my kid, I'm making excuses.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
I think Brian WANs know the Dolphins in town this
year is a you're going to watch the Dolphins?

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Oh oh is that what he's saying? Yeah, Well listen,
if if they are, I'll.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
We're staying at your house for Super Bowl, right crack
all of us, the whole.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Yeah, coming down. You know what, that's a great thing.
I was thinking about it last week. I you know,
the super bowls here, like are we I'm We're gonna
all be you guys come in to Vegas or super Bowl?
Do we know?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Bad news before the super Bowl? The Dolphins do play
the Raiders in Miami.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Oh oh, I will be turn that down, timy Bait.
I will be in I will yes, I'll be in Vegas.
I do not know if I'm staying Sunday for the
radio show or not, probably because the reason why is
my wife is gonna want to go out. I probably
will not have even slept to do our show Sunday
morning with the super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
So that's a great show.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
Yeah, great show, just off like a Tiesto concert.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I'm like, oh, we'll play some DM We'll get you
right back a rough one.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
Although I'm coming because my wife we shouldn't come last year,
and she's gonna want to go to like every single
party possible.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Yeah. Well, hey, let's dive into this right here.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Follow the money, real good money, all right.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Our main man, Seamus McGee, team lead of Sports Training
at VET MGM. He joins us here on campdown to kickoff.
Good morning, Seamus. You know last night that Colorado game,
the amount of money it had, more bets on the
spread like Colorado covering than any remaining NFL game on

(21:43):
the slate, which blows my mind. What's the next game up?
And who's the team that has the most money on them?
Like similar to Colorado, except the handle is way less.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
Hey guys, thanks for having me. Well, if I had
a look at the games, I mean, I mean, people
love the Saints tomorrow night, that's for sure on one thing.
But a lot of money coming in on teams like
the Chargers, a lot of money coming in on the Bills,
and a lot of money coming in on the Chiefs
as well. So it's really amongst those three. We'll get

(22:19):
closer to kickoff and doe where it lands, but definitely
those three for sure.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
The Chargers have a lot of injuries, right Austin Eckler's
out bose is a questionable. Why all the money on them?
Is this more of a fate of Tennessee off of
kind of poor offensive performance against the Saints?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
You gotta think that too. I mean, Charges aren't popular team.
People like Justin Herbert bounce back spot. I guess you
could look at it for the Chargers and the Titans
again did not look very particularly good and the super
dumb last week. But that's the least what we're seeing
so far today.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
Hey, Shamus, Bill Krackenberger, you know, before I get into
any questions for you, I have one thing to tell you. Actually,
the two shamouses in my life that I know once
worth ten million, the other ones approaching the Forbes list
worth a billion. So just to let you know that
you're you're on a good list there. It's a good good,
good aspirations here. But I want to ask you something.
Last week, you gave me a winner. You made me money.

(23:13):
Last week you said ninety percent of the money coming
in on Washington over Arizona, and it was, you know,
plus the seven points that was actually a couple seven
and a half's here in Vegas that popped up here.
And there is there any game like that this week? Listen?
I know it's not going to be a ninety percenter,
but is there any game that stands out like wow?

(23:35):
Like even by game time, even though we're here two
and a half hours away from game time, you can't
see getting off the position you think you're gonna have
a side on this week?

Speaker 6 (23:45):
The two another couple of games that stick out to me.
Thank you for the kind words though, Bill, that that
means a lot.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
My man. Wow.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
I think the Lions are definitely one. We get a
lot of Michigan every weekend, whether it's on the Wolverines
or the Lions, or even the Detroit Tigers. So that's
interesting because it's crept down a little bit from five
and a half, and it's a lot of money pouring
in on Detroit, and I think they're going to see
it most weeks with the Cardinals. We just took a
huge bet out in Vegas on the Giants as of

(24:19):
like an hour ago. Money's going to keep rolling in
out of them, I'm assuming. So I definitely look at
those two spots or something for a play like that.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
What do you think of that Detroit game today, Seamus,
where Seattle doesn't have both of their starting offensive tackles
in that game. First home game for Detroit obviously beat
the Chiefs last week. What do you think about Seattle Detroit?

Speaker 6 (24:39):
It's a funny league, you know, like Detroit's coming off
a win an arrowhead on Prime time against the Homes,
and Seattle just got their butts kicked at home by
a Rams team. No, and soolf is going to be
very good this year, and a lot of sharps are
back in Seattle this week. So it's a funny game
to look out for.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Help me with the Falcon it's packers game, because I
just don't understand the money on the Falcons, especially the
last twenty four hours. I just don't get it. I
don't know what football I know Doc Gamble's off football reasons,
but like I don't understand the football reason why this.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
You've been on the Falcons, including the off season, the
Falcons have been one of the sharper teams we booked.
I mean this team opened up I guess the point
we opened the point dogs on the Falcons, and that
line's already down to a flat three Falcons minus three.
It's definitely the sharpest play of the week and again
all off season. I mean, whether it's to make the playoffs,

(25:33):
overs on the win totals and division futures. They've been
a sharp team that our sharp customers seem to really
fight this year.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Yeah, lots of sharp guys on on land of pre
flap beginning of the season. I knew about that. Also,
these totals, we talked about them earlier. The totals this
weekend again there there looked like a lot of them
got bet down. I can go up and down the
board about five six games, you know, Seattle fifty one down,

(26:02):
the forty seven, Chicago forty three, down, the forty and
so forth. Do you continue to see that trend? Are
the actual Joe publics all getting on this undertrain and
moving these games down and the couple that went the
opposite way, but more towards the unders. Do you see
that continuing to happen? And did it happen this week?
At your book?

Speaker 6 (26:22):
I wouldn't say there's a ton of public money coming
on the unders for us. It's mainly do the sharp
action brush, a couple of injuries and some games that
have moved the totals down, But I would I wouldn't
go crazy and say it's you know, the public's just
all over the unders this year.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Cool Seamus? What are you on today?

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Man?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Because we talked to you on college football Saturdays and
you'll hit us with the liberty you'll give us, you know,
an incarnate word you have all these random plays and
a lot of them hit what are you on today?

Speaker 6 (26:53):
I mean I was able to get on the Falcons
earlier in the week at the minus one, but hard
to give that out right now. I can't take my
eyes off the Broncos at minus three and a half.
Call me square, but I'm pretty low on this Commander's team.
You know, in the altitude at home, they did not

(27:15):
look good in my opinion. He gets to Arizona last week,
and I think Sean Payton's got to half this one.
Like they had a really tough loss last week. I
think they got to go out there and try to
make a statement this week.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Would you open up the Chiefs game at in Chiefs Jaguars?

Speaker 6 (27:32):
So we opened up a juice two and a half
on the Chiefs. Publics and Sharps got on the Chiefs
as you would imagine. So it's in at three and
a half right now. But there's been some Jags money
coming in. We're gonna end up meeting the Jags. But
it's definitely I'd say it's at a little more lopsided
on the Chiefs. But yeah, definitely pushed that off to two.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
And a half.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
Is it still a good way to you think a
three and a half was that kind of the importance
of getting the best of number here.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
I kind of like the Jets this week in my opinion,
So I think I don't know if I bet the
Chiefs at three and a half, I definitely like it
at the three. If I like the Chiefs, welly good.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
One last these primetime games, Seamus, You've seen most of
the money come in at closer to post time on
these games. But because but I didn't know what you're
saying New Orleans. That's the reason why I'm asking You've
seen some early money on New Orleans, but you think
the bulk of the money is going to come in,
of course, closer to game time. I'm guessing definitely.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
But I think this New England Miami game is a
bit of an exception. We've seen some money, a lot
of money come in on this game so far. I
imagine we're going to need the Patriots to cover two
and a half. But we get to kickoff, and you
know a lot of guys they wait for the games
to end see what they got in the accounts before
they make a wager on the Sunday night game. But
this is an interesting one where we could take a

(28:53):
decent chunk of money earlier in the week.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Cool, great stuff, Seamus, Hey man, enjoy week two. We'll
catch you.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Thanks for having me, guys.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
I love that. Man, that's a how much is in
the old account? Week two? All right, let's throw it
on the Dolphins, Mike two and a half.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
You definitely preach against doing exactly that crack.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
You don't got is New England anyway, So if you
don't put money of the Dolphins, that's that would be
a I believe it incorrect wager.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Okay. I will get into that a little bit later. First, though,
we're gonna get into some Nick Cope update anchor action.
That's where I want to be. That's where the party
is at, Nick with the latest. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Man?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
What's going on?

Speaker 5 (29:34):
Guys?

Speaker 7 (29:34):
Good morning, let's getch you the latest on who's in
who's out today For the Packers, running back Aaron Jones
and receiver Christian Watkins both listed as questionable, but and
NFL media reports they are both unlikely to play. That
MGM currently has this Falcons laying three at home. That's
moved up a half point this morning. He has been

(29:54):
reports Chiefs sat end Travis Kelsey is good to go.
He's likely to wear a compression sleeve on his knee,
and they're also saying that defensive tackle Chris Jones will
play about twenty to thirty snaps today, mostly on passing
downs and in critical situations. BETMGM has the Chiefs favored
by three and a half on the road against the Jaguars.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
CJ.

Speaker 7 (30:13):
Stroud, the Texans quarterback, popped up on the injury report
late this week, but NFL media reports that he will play.
Texans hosting the Colts in Houston. Houston is a one
point favorite at home. According to bet MGM, Chargers at Titans.
Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa will play. On the other
side for Tennessee, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will play this

(30:34):
line currently, Chargers favored by two and a half. Thanks
to our friends at bet MGM, you also have Ravens
at the Bengals. Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews listed as questionable,
he is expected to play. He also had running back
Melvin Gordon elevated to the active roster yesterday as well.
On the other side, Cincinnati running back Chris Evans is
questionable and not expected to play. Bet MGM currently as

(30:57):
the Bengals as three and a half point favorites at home. Also,
Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool is set to be active.
A lot of criticism around Claypool this past week and
his efforts in week one, but he is set to
be active. Bears are at Buccaneers Tampa two and a
half point favorites according to bet MGM. Then in the
late afternoon window, Dallas receiver of Brandon Cooks is not

(31:18):
expected to play as a Cowboys host the Jets. That's
currently Dallas laying eight and a half at home according
to bet MGM reports. Hey, Aaron Rodgers underwent an innovative
surgery on his torn achilles that could have him fully
healed in as little as four months, giving Rogers a
chance to be available if the Jets were to make
the playoffs. Finally, I know we were talking about Max

(31:41):
verstapp in weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
His run It is now over.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
Singapore Grand Prix, Carlos Sains gets the win and her
Stappins run is over.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
Back to you guys. Somebody wreck that guy, Nick Cope,
I mean good, you can't rattle off.

Speaker 7 (31:56):
It's got to happen eventually, but Sain's got it done
the old fashioned way.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Man man, all right, thank you very much. An innovative
surgery for Aaron Rodgers. Huh could be back for the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
That storyline is just to get clicks that I read it.
It said maybe he's back in five months. The exact
date is the super Bowl, that's the story. It's like
the quickest anyone's ever come back is five months, and
that would be the exact date of the super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Well, and Jeff, we just need Zach Wilson to get
him through the AFC, you know, we just that's it.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Oh yeah, pretty simple, right, I mean people make the playoffs.
They'll make the playoffs over like you know, Justin Herbert
and Lamar Jackson and and two and Josh Allen like
all these they're just gonna do it. Of course, they're
gonna make the playoffs, right, It's pretty it's pretty simple.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Yeah, yeah yeah. And then they're just gonna do damage
once they're there, and then Rogers can ride in on
a white horse and save the day in the super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (32:54):
If Zach Wilson makes the super Bowl, you absolutely have
to play Zack Wilson in that game. If he is
not good, do we here in the super Bowl? You
must play him in that game.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
That's a bridge we're not going to have to cross.
But I hear you. I hear you on that.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
All right.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
So you remember the TV show where the lady would
be like, you are the weakest link. Goodbye read. Yes,
I was just thinking about that.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
What's the whole.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
Weakest link?

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah, that's right. Yeah, but I was thinking about that
as it applies to the parlay platter. Okay, the three
of us will each have one selection. We group it
together for our parlay of the day. Who's the one
that screws it up? You know, you have to wear
the hat of shame if you are that person. So
we will discuss. Coming up around the corner, we've got

(33:44):
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran Bill Krackenberger from crackwins
dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian no. It is Fox
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. It

Bet MGM is also offering some of the best odds
in the market on NFL futures. Bet MGM the King
of sportsbooks, the King of parlays. All let's dive into this.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Check this out with parlay letter.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
All right, we each have one selection apiece. We group
them together for an even bigger payout crack. We will
start with you. You got the parlay letter off on the
right foot last week. I believe you had the Arizona
Cardinals plus seven. I can't remember if it was this
segment or the end of the show. You gave it
out one of.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
The end I think I had Cleveland first Aver, which
was a winner. Yeah, I did it good on the show.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Actually, we can't keep track of all these winners.

Speaker 5 (34:50):
Yeah, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna go with
Seamus here. I agree. I think Denver. You know on
bet MGM you can actually toggle down, So the toggle
down bet on Denver minus three minus thirty five. I
like that part I'm gonna make that my portion of
the parlay platter. I think Washington's a lot worse than

(35:11):
some people may think here. I think the altitude. Let's
let's go Denver minus three there on, fine, okay.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
I am going to take the Bengals minus three. I
think that's like minus one twenty ish right now, and
it's three and a half. I'm going down to three
because we're in this parlay. The Ravens had a lot
of players I don't even notice. They're back to being
in the chargers of the East Coast. And the Bengals
had a really bad football game on Sunday. I don't

(35:39):
expect that to happen again today. The Ravens offense last
weekend still looked a little bit trying to figure things out, right,
Todd monkey new offense, and that the game ended up
being what twenty nine to twenty five to nine I
think for the Ravens against the Texans, but it wasn't
it was closed for a long time. It was a
better game than that final score. So I like the
Bengals here. I'll take minus three. I'll lay a little

(36:02):
bit juice, But we're in this parlay together. So if cracking.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Do it.

Speaker 4 (36:05):
I'm gonna do it. I'm taking a better number.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Look at you, guys, just getting rid of the hook's
going on with you.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
There are threes available though.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
Many spots. Yeah, I hear you, I hear you.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
I don't want to wreck this part light here. I'm
looking at the same game you hit on Crack, this
Washington Denver game. The total is very very low at
thirty eight and a half. But I just look at
what's Denver really gonna put up offensively against Washington's got
a legit defense. What's Washington gonna put up against Denver's
top defense. First road start for Sam Howell, it was

(36:40):
rough last week against Arizona at Hull. So I'm gonna
take the under thirty eight and a half in Washington,
den You like.

Speaker 5 (36:47):
That, I like that.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Sam Howe's passing number right now is one ninety nine
and a half. I'm going under.

Speaker 5 (36:54):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Get out of here with that one night.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
I love these sub two hundred. I bet all numbers.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
I bet the under all of them. They hit all
the time. They hit a lot, they hit a lot,
like I know, I know even last week, like Baker
Mayfoot had like a seventy yard touchdown whatever, and he
still went under like they go under all the time.
There's a reason why they're said so low.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
There are a couple that caught my eye.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Here.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Let me see, I'll throw a couple of these out
this up two hundred ones. Let's see Justin Fields. I
know he Justin Fields is one seventy three and a
half Bears in Tampa.

Speaker 5 (37:29):
You're under.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
I didn't take that one. I didn't take that one
personally yet.

Speaker 5 (37:33):
That I am. I haven't even mentioned to you guys though.
I am under some quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
You're you're under Jordan Love right, macs QB.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Yeah, I'm under like five different quarterbacks. I'm gonna give
out a couple on the show here when when when
when we talk about props. But Jeff's right, they look,
you're right. They some of these things look so low
you say, oh man, he's definitely gonna throw for that.
I'm not beat over any quarterbacks. Just let you know
the whole season. If I give out one over, I'll
be shocked on a quarterback yards or touchdowns in the game. No,

(38:08):
I'm an under guy, especially prime time games. I love
betting under on quarterback Last week.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
I took under one eighty seven and a half for
Josh Dobbs and they were playing like they had come
from behind game.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
I still yeah, you still hit? Yeah, man? How about
this same number for Colds quarterback Anthony Richardson. They're at
Houston also Bryce Young Carolina QB tomorrow night hosting the Saints.
They're both at one ninety three and a half.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
I like you. I like Young better than Richardson. I
actually like the Texans to win today, So I Richard
might be playing from behind a little bit.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Yeah, all right, very good stuff there, all right, the
good stuff rolls on here. On countdown to kickoff, we'll
have redemption or more disappointment from these teams. A lot
of shaky starts from some teams with high expectations. Do
they right the ship or is it more misery? Do
we see zero to two in the horizon. We will

(39:04):
get to that right around the corner. Hang with us, Oh,
what's going on everybody? We are less than two hours
away from kickoff in the early window of the NFL slate.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Can't wait, can't wait for it.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
We've got on the agenda over here. Will it be redemption?

Speaker 5 (39:23):
That's right?

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Thank you, Bart Scott will be redemption or more disappointment
for these teams. So let's look at the Cincinnati Bengals,
one of the more disappointing teams. In Week one, they
scored three points, Joe Burrow had eighty two passing yards
against the Browns. Redemption today at home against the Ravens

(39:44):
or more disappointment on the way, Jeff, you seem to
think there's a redemption here, right, I get them, yea.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
You know last week remember last season, threw five turnover
or through five receptions a week one and lost the Steelers.
And I did actually lose two last week maybe the
best example. But they have started slow in the past,
earlier this season. And fin I remember Burrow missed most
of the training camp as we know, with a calf injury.
He looked uncomfortable ish in the pocket, right, and he

(40:13):
just didn't play well. He just didn't play well. And
he's a good enough quarterback where you should not expect
that to happen. And back to back weekends, also, the
Browns were able to And the Browns have a plan
that works like forever reason their plan on defense has
always worked against Joe Burrow. The Ravens plan has never worked,
so I don't know why today we expect it to work.

(40:35):
They don't have the pass rush the Browns do, which
is what's really uh frustrated the Bengals, and so I
just I think this is a win for the Bengals
and a cover here.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
Crack yeah, this is a wise guy's side. By the
way this was, there was actually a couple two and
a half minus twenties out there early in the week,
and a lot of the Sharp guys jumped on Cincinnati
and then they jumped on a minus three. He's actually
a couple of three and a half now town. You know,
it wasn't just Burrow that looked bad last week. So
Lamar Jackson definitely looked a little rusty. You know. Really

(41:09):
that was his first full game in like a year,
so it wasn't just him. Matter of fact, I'm gonna
have a play on this game later on. This is
still a matchup of two legitimate teams that were, you know,
supposed to be Super Bowl contenders. So we we're gonna
see what we're gonna see here, and this is one
of the most anticipated games of the day, Like I said,

(41:32):
especially for the Sharp guys, I can't find anyone that
is picking Baltimore, even in the in the in our
pools here in town with tens of thousands of people.
Just everyone's all over Cincinnati, and we all know what
happens when someone's all over one side the bookmakers. The
book maker definitely has God on his side.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
So, yeah, you mentioned crack. Last week Lamar Jackson only
one hundred and sixty nine yards passing one interception, his
passer ratings under eighty. I can't, for the life of me,
understand why Odell Beckham Junior chose the Baltimore Ravens. I
don't want this to sound like complete knee jerk overreaction

(42:13):
off of one game, but I think over the course
of the season, why he choosing.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
Baltymore money they get him fig him.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Fifteen absolutely, there's no doubt. Fifteen mil.

Speaker 5 (42:25):
Is that what it was.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
It's cash, But this is a bridge contract, right, It's
a one year deal, so his next contract is tied
to his production this season. So yeah, he got paid
in twenty twenty three, but I think that could absolutely
hurt his cash going forward. So I didn't understand the
move at the time. He had other offers he had

(42:48):
other teams, maybe not as much money, but I think
you'd be winning out in the long run. But we'll
see if Obj is targeted more. Last week only two
catches for thirty seven yards, three targets.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
It's crazy that, you know, we we we always do
this thing where we say athletes to take less money,
and I mean we you know, we're like, you know what,
DeAndre Hopkins, you would win a super Bowl, take less
money and go play for the Bills or Chiefs, right o,
Dell Man, you know, take less money, and then they
never do it. I don't even know why we bother
doing that because it almost the only time that ever

(43:21):
happens is when you're on you know, you're on your
your fifth team and trying to look for a championship,
which I guess, I mean, but Odel already want a champion.
He's not looking for that really. Or look when you're
when you're a hometown, you know, like you take a
little bit of a hometown discount, right, so yeah, it's uh,
it never happens, man, It never happens.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
If they could do whatever they want to do. But
I look at it where they did take a discount
at least OBJ, DeAndre Hopkins a little bit long in
the tooth, but OBJ, listen, he was on track to
possibly be Super Bowl MVP, you know what I mean, Like,
and he went to the ravens of all teams as
if what is if he's putting up numbers with Lamar

(44:01):
is just not that guy. You could put up numbers
with a lot of other quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
Yeah, but I think he went he went for the
fifteen million dollars. No one's no one, no one was
giving fifty million dollars, right.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
That's the thing is, that's just twenty twenty three. If
you're thinking beyond twenty three, I think that changes the
math a lot.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
Yeah, it does, But I I don't know. I I
wish he had gone somewhere else for his own sake,
and I think he'll be fine next year. But yeah,
I think he's just you know, he went for the
money this year, and he's a I think with Odell
specifically to you don't know how long he's going to
play for and so just going for the money this
year might be, you know, the thing that he thinks

(44:39):
is best for his career. And I look, I never
really knock anyone it for doing it. But when there's
all these older players kind of say, well I wish
I won a championship at some point like, well, somebody
didn't win a championship. I would have taken less money
to win a championship. So, especially when you've made one
hundred million dollars, go find yourself. You know, like Hopkins
Hopkins with the Tennessee like, what are we doing right?
Everyone could have told you that offense is gonna stinks.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
To keep your eye on Lamar. He's had a lot
of success running the ball against the Bengals. He averages
about eighty three yards per game seven career games against
the Bengals. But last week and it's something that keep
your eye on is Lamar changing his style a bit
against the Texans only six rushes for thirty eight yards,

(45:20):
So keep your eye on that. This week against the Bengals,
he's routinely diced them up on the ground. You have
the horrible situation with JK. Dobbins with the achilles injury.
He's gone for the season. So it's a running back
by committee type situation. So they're also down to.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
Their left tackle, their center, right, maybe they're tight end,
a cornerback and a safety.

Speaker 5 (45:43):
That's a lot.

Speaker 4 (45:43):
Wow, it's a lot.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
You might need you to take off and run a
little bit here, Lamar in this game. Something else here,
redemption or more disappointment Seattle. Seattle was a huge disappointment
last week. They allowed what twenty three unanswered points against
the Rams in Seattle. They lose by seventeen points, and

(46:07):
Stafford didn't even throw a touchdown pass. They still lost
thirty to thirteen. They're on the road against Detroit today
minus their two starting offensive tackles crack. I mean, what
do you think about this? Detroit favored by four and
a half, and like Seamus said, some of the wise
guy money is on the Seahawks, believe.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
It or not in this one.

Speaker 4 (46:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (46:28):
Well, you know what, though, I'm seeing back and forth.
I'm seeing on the screen from four and a half
to five and a half. So I don't know. After
last week's Seattle offensive, they were they just their offense
was a dud last week, So I don't really know
where this is going to go. I'm actually, you know,
staying off the game. If anything, I'm interested to see

(46:49):
there were sixes on this game. By the way, the
beginning week when the Lion came up. I was like, wow,
that's a lot of points. But that's off of last
week's game. The Lion's still riding high off off beating
beating those Chiefs. You know, last year this game, I
believe when they met it was like a forty eight
was it forty eight, forty five?

Speaker 4 (47:09):
It was something ridiculous, Like it.

Speaker 5 (47:10):
Was like ridiculous. So you would definitely expect some points
here today. And I was shocked to see this game
open up fifty one at two different book makers and
go down to forty seven where it's at now, actually
shocked me. So maybe those offenses aren't the same teams
they will at least Seattle is not the same team
they were last year. I still think we might see

(47:33):
some points here, though.

Speaker 4 (47:34):
Here's a question on this one. Crack for you though,
Bright Edges of course as well, Like the number was
I think like three on the look aheadline. And then
Detroit ekes out that close victory against Kansas City, and
again the Chiefs should have won, and Seattle plays Poorland
week one to me at plus six, the values on
Seattle here right, Like, to me, that's not a three

(47:55):
point swing in a game where Seattle didn't play as well,
but the Lions weren't toxicated by the Lions. They should
have lost. Like the Chiefs had many opportunities to win
that didn't. The guns said nothing, can you ever startally?
Dropping that pass had nothing to do with the Lions.
It was like they made a skillful play that led
them to win the game. He dropped the pass even
the Chiefs went ugly twenty three, twenty one, You're like, oh,

(48:16):
good job Lions, Chiefs. You know, chiefs do what the
chiefs do, and the line never goes to six. So
that's why I think there was value at six.

Speaker 5 (48:24):
From a betting standpoint, this always happens weeks one to
week two. Well, you'll hear this on many sharp sports
betting shows. You'll see the overreaction just based on score
of week one to week two, where the value would
be in that situation, Seattle plus the six points, maybe
even not the situation. Sometimes I'll buy the seven if

(48:44):
I get a cheap seven, but you wouldn't have done
it in this situation. But it's such as the high total.
But however, that is just all overreaction. You said the
look ahead line three. It just because Seattle was upset
at home and then and that was an upset, by
the way, it was like they were like five five
and a half. They knocked me out of one of
my Survivor picks in the pool here is in town.

(49:06):
So yeah, by the way, quick, three thousand bucks I
lost last week three of my Survivor things out Minnesota, Minnesota, Seattle.
Three picks out of.

Speaker 4 (49:15):
Left How me what you got? Oh?

Speaker 5 (49:17):
You know, I'm nuts.

Speaker 4 (49:18):
I bought them all.

Speaker 5 (49:18):
Ten I have left.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
No, I have.

Speaker 5 (49:22):
I put ten thousand up on my own, ten of them,
and then I took half of eight other ones. So
I have I have, I have a good twelve thousand
or you know, yeah, I have actually like fourteen it's
you know, fourteen thousand. Sorry involved in that pool. It's
probably a little bit too much though, because you know,
losing three in one week. And let me tell you though,

(49:43):
this week, by the way, this this is a big
pool in town.

Speaker 6 (49:45):
Guys.

Speaker 5 (49:45):
I'm sorry to talk about this, but it's ten million
bucks on the line here. So uh, this week, what
do you guys think? Almost half the pool? Later half
the pool. No, we lost twenty percent last week, so
we're down to like, I don't know, seven thousand, guys.
Were they on half the polls on Buffalo?

Speaker 4 (50:02):
So yeah, I think I think Circa put out the
week two selections. They did, and so they did on
Buffalo Buffalo.

Speaker 5 (50:09):
I was surprised that number two and number three shocked
Giants eleven well, scoring zero points. Is there's number two.

Speaker 4 (50:17):
But everything every week, the one whoever plays Arizona's gonna
have a high percentage of.

Speaker 5 (50:21):
I didn't expect that you can knock them.

Speaker 4 (50:23):
But like using the Broncos this week is great because
you knocked the Broncos out. You just using me dealing
with it. Here's what I don't understand, guys. There are
seven people that made no pick, so you took a
thousand dollars to just throw.

Speaker 5 (50:36):
Pick after eleven last week. I think eleven thousand dollars
was just given to us. Last week. Eleven people signed
up to the contest and never put their pics in.
So yeah, you got seventeen thousand and dead money, uh
in the pool.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
And by the way, yeah, Craig, I got a quick
question for you man, because we always talk about closing
line value CLV. Yeah, take the Seattle Detroit game for inch.
You mentioned the numbers ticking up to like five and
a half. If you're one of these betters that says, hey,
I think Detroit's gonna win today, it's not an overreaction
to Week one. It's Seattle has both of their offensive

(51:12):
tackles out. I think that Detroit's gonna win by six
or seven points. Where do you stand on closing line value.
I'll give you an example yesterday in college football. You
could have gotten Florida around good plus seven and a
half earlier in the week, and then kickoff it's like
plus five and a half. There are some people that

(51:32):
would say, hey, the value's gone.

Speaker 5 (51:34):
It's not what it once was.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
If you still like Florida, shouldn't you bet Florida? If
you still like Detroit, even if the numbers ticking up
a bit, should you still bet the Lions.

Speaker 5 (51:43):
Well, I'll use that underdog better a little bit stronger
for me. I am not betting Florida after I could
have got seven or seven and a half, which is
the keyst number in college football. I am not taking
five and a half now. No, I'll just make a
pass on the game and if they win, they win,
Like you know, they won, they won. Okay, that's it.
That's all you can do. There's plenty of more opportunities
the same thing here in Detroit. I probably wouldn't be taking. No,

(52:07):
I'm not looking at the four and a half now
when I could have taken six. Listen, they're not key numbers.
Fives do land, though sometimes it's amazing. Fives actually dual land.
But I'm not interested in taking you know, a lower
points right after I missed, I'm not gonna be it.
I'm not going to the funeral if I didn't go

(52:27):
to the wedding the way I.

Speaker 4 (52:29):
Feel about it, Brian, I like that, Yeah, is it?
I think it depends on the game and like what
I think, Like especially i'll do it for favorites, like
for Underdog. If I could get seven and now it's
at five, I probably won't do it. But sometimes a favorite,
you know, if it's at twenty two and it goes
to twenty four, I'm like, ah, I'll be fine with that.

(52:49):
But like I didn't colletrupall yesterday. But if like you
get a seven and now it's at four three, I'm
probably gonna take the underdog in that situation, right right,
But getting key numbers and pointed I got can' tocity
not the humble brag minus two and a half when
it came out this week, I'm great minus two and
a half. One take at three and a half. I
think he can't say is gonna win by by seven points?

(53:11):
But I just think you can't do it sometimes.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
Yeah, it's interesting, right, I get what you're saying. But
every now and then you'll pass up an opportunity because
you're so hung up on you could have gotten a
better number, and I think sometimes that prevents so fain
if you've got the right angle, if.

Speaker 5 (53:28):
You get right, definitely prevents a win. I'm just stummern.
I'm just so schooled and getting the best of everything.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
But you're probably but you're probably Brian, if you if
you know the numbers that well, you're probably gonna try
to get the best of the number earlier in the week. Anyways, Absolutely,
it's probably not a problem for Like, it's question of
if you haven't even bet on the game and you
want to.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
Do it today, what do you do right, right, right right,
you're just late to the party or you didn't anticipate
the line movement, whatever, But if you still have what
you believe to be the right side, Like every now
and then you are costing yourself money to crackspoint. There's
a reason why you do it, right, Like, if you're
not in on the better line, sometimes that can come

(54:10):
back to bite you, and I understand that's why you
stay away. So it's a mixed bag right there. Hey,

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Prop it up?

Speaker 3 (56:01):
Player plays okay, Vince Neil said kickstart my heart. I
crack him saying kickstart myrop bets.

Speaker 5 (56:12):
Crack.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
I don't know that it's going to lead to a sorry.

Speaker 5 (56:15):
Can I have more than one? Because I have as
my my buddy Las Vegas Chris says, I have a
toilet paper roll full of proposition bets. Just one O,
just one?

Speaker 3 (56:27):
Okay, I just kidding, give me all, give me seventy
three right now, that's what you have.

Speaker 5 (56:31):
Let's go. I want to Jeff's gonna like this. The
Falcons under Ritter under one eighty five twenty four and
a half, twenty five and a half passing yards. Listen,
that's the lowest average depth of target in last week.
And literally I'm looking at some current numbers, guys. So
I don't want to give you a bet. No onwenty
five and a half, Okay, cool? I just think a

(56:52):
lot of run, run, run, and more running. I like
that under. I know there's been a lot of love
for Atlanta today, but I like under on his yards.
Here you go, okay.

Speaker 4 (57:03):
I took Sam Howe under one ninety nine. I think
of this. I think I saw right now. I took
a biker mayfoot under two twenty three.

Speaker 5 (57:13):
And a half.

Speaker 4 (57:14):
Just he's just not, come on, what are we doing?
So it's it's too many, too many. I took I
took a J. Dillon. By the way, then this might
be taking some cheese here over fifty seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
Without it, I could seem there no ahere at Jones.
You gotta run the rock.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Maybe maybe I don't know, maybe not the best wage.
Everyone else is doing it too, But I do like
him to go over today over that number as well.
I also think it might be fun for like a
Chris Jones over half a sack, like first game back,
just going nuts in game one and it's thirty snaps.

Speaker 3 (57:51):
I act see it. The only thing that bothers me
is limited you know what I mean? Like, what was
it a Nick Bosa similar situation? Situation right, and he
was on a limited bitch count against the Steelers. I
don't think he had a sack last week, so.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
I think he had one.

Speaker 5 (58:10):
Did he get no?

Speaker 4 (58:10):
I think what had three, which is good for my heat,
was two J watt over over for the year. I
had Michael Parsons over sacks as well. He he had
one and a half I think or two in game one.
Uh the sack, dude, The sack numbers are low for
these guys. You like thirteen and a half for some
of these sacked this future his future numbers.

Speaker 3 (58:31):
I love some of the obscure guys, you know what
I mean. Maybe he just pluck an obscure guy out
of nowhere. Like the Jets offensive line is not good. Uh,
just take a random Cowboys defensive tackle to you know,
to Zack Zach Wilson. A couple of things I'm looking at.

(58:52):
Justin Herbert intrigues me this week because no Austin Eckler
for the Chargers. I don't think they're gonna run the
ball very well anyway. Against the Titans. They brought themselves,
so nobody runs the ball on us. I think Justin
Herbert against a depleted secondary, I think he's going to
be throwing the ball a lot. So what intrigues me
are the completions. Prop that's at twenty five and a half.

(59:13):
I think he gets to twenty six completions today on
the road against the Titans. I'll take that one. I
also have my eye on the attempts. He's got to
get to thirty eight attempts. And I would also have
like an eye squinting at the longest completion have to
be at least thirty eight yards. But I think there's
a deep ball to be had, or even a yak.
It doesn't have to necessarily be a deep ball, could

(59:35):
be run after a catch. But I'm gonna take Justin
Herbert at least twenty six completions today. Give me over
twenty five and a half.

Speaker 2 (59:45):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (59:46):
You think deep into these. It's what I love about you.
Brian Crack. You said you had plenty of them. He
gave us one.

Speaker 5 (59:53):
Yeah, oh no, because I didn't know if you'd Oh God,
like I said, want all of them.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
This is why would listen, This is why you're here, buddy.
Hit the wagers.

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
Okay, let's let's look at Tennessee Titans. This is gonna
be my second pick for you guys. Hopkins under sixty
three and a half receiving yards, which I just I
just checked that line. They want to spread the ball
around a little bit more and.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
He's a little nicked up.

Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
Also stink.

Speaker 5 (01:00:19):
So yeah, so yeah, so that that's another under and uh,
I'm going to have a couple more for you at
the end of the show that I'm actually in the
middle of betting, believe it or not right now, because
that's what I do.

Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
On Sunday morning, Devin Hit send it's on deck, but
you haven't.

Speaker 4 (01:00:36):
Yeah, no, we got Do you ever just like at
the end of the weekend, or do you just do
you just like sad like in Sunday night, you just
saddle up with your accounts and looker like I've always
been curious.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
You know, by the way, I'm one of the guys
in media that that one of the few rare people
that give out plays that admit losing unbelievably. Last Sunday
Props actually lost. I did not expect that, if you know,
if hit sixty percent lifetime on Props and destroyed the
last few seasons. So returning to the mean as a
must for me here. But yes, at the end of

(01:01:07):
the day, especially when I have, like literally I think
I bet thirty, like I said, thirty or some props
this week. But I only give you guys the ones
that I feel that you can get in your jurisdiction.
So the primetime ones are probably the better ones. But yeah, no,
at the end of the day, I don't root when

(01:01:27):
I've turned the game on.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
I don't root for.

Speaker 5 (01:01:29):
The actual props. I don't root for the player. It's
too much to root for. I'm rooting for maybe my
survivor or something, or you know, maybe my bigger bets,
which you know are more like totals and stuff and
props of course are bigger bets, but it's hard to
root for every single one. I want to have some longevity.
It to life.

Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
You're not gonna make it two more years if you're
worried about all these prof bets. You know, a couple
of throwout what you guys think of it? What do
you think of We talked about the Falcons. They don't
throw it a whole lot. Drake London, their wide receiver
if he's matched up on Jayir Alexander, who is a
tremendous corner for the Packers. The passing yardage or the

(01:02:09):
receiving yardage, I should say for Drake London forty four
and a half. It sounds ridiculously low, but don't be
surprised if the under hits it. They don't throw it
a whole lot and he's matched up on Alexander.

Speaker 5 (01:02:22):
Would you look at.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
You there?

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
How about this too? Another one to throw out? Our guy,
Brock Purdy. He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all
six of his regular season starts. They're up against the
Rams today. The Rams not a deep team. They played
good defense last week against Gino Smith and Seattle, but
this is not Seattle. What do you think about Brock

(01:02:50):
Purdy over a touchdown and a half? Would you go
with it?

Speaker 5 (01:02:56):
I love making bets on quarterback touchdowns, but I'm always
on the under, so I'm not that I have that
under on that one. But I do like betting under
because public loves to bet over one and a half's
on these quarterback touchdown so easy. But that being the
biggest public team in a week, I'm still staying away
from it though. And guess what I'm doing. I'm rooting
for you.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
It's just a discussion.

Speaker 5 (01:03:18):
Crack no, no, no, I get it, I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:20):
I get you.

Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
But I think that one of the things that stands
out to me is Rockberdy is not one of these
big name quarterbacks. We're talking about him here and there,
but he's not a top ten guy. He's not talked
about as a top five guy. He's one of those
sneaky guys betting wise, where you're not like, oh, I'm
betting Brock Berdy to throw two touchdown passes today. I

(01:03:42):
think you say that about a lot of other quarterbacks
before him.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
That is true, though, Like it's kind of like no
one's no one's probably gonna be.

Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
On this right Yeah, so Jeff you Dablin.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Brock pretty touchdown prop't This game has kind of spooked
me a little bit. I think I feel like it's
the Niners should win this game by four touchdowns, but
probably the probably cover. I have made no wages on
this game whatsoever. For that raceway. I teas the Niners
down to one. I think every person in America who
wagers down to.

Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
One very good and very very scary. This week, by
the way, yeah, might look too easy, I.

Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
Know, right, like the like like the too easy the Bills,
Bills Cowboys Cowboys games.

Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
Uh, these games look too like this is this is money, man,
this is simple.

Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
I mean this again, right like last week in the
Vikings teaser, everyone was on right, that obviously busted. So
someone's gonna someone's gonna do it. Someone's gonna have a
bad teaser here at some point, and I don't know
who it's gonna be, but yeah, someone's gonna get someone's
get bit by the teaser bug.

Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
By the way, I loved your tweet crack talking about
teasers and if we could get it back to even money.
Oh anybody know about that?

Speaker 5 (01:04:55):
That reminded me of like the Seinfeld scene when like
uh Steinbrowner was out there with the you know, the
guy was bomber. What do you what do you need Bomber?
He said, yeah, you want something one of the different
Jersey's different. Okay, I could do that. Yeah, please don't
hurt us. And then so it's the same kind of
thing there the hackers here in Vegas. I just figured
since they were you know, asking all these demands, you know,

(01:05:17):
one hundreds of millions of dollars, you know, throwing the
can you please get us back to six point even teasers?
Maybe get rid of that the parking fee too. And
you know what I forgot about that that extra fee
when you come in and you check in the hotel
they charge like forty bucks. Yeah, get rid of that
fee too. That that's my free demands. So yeah, I

(01:05:38):
wish So if the hackers can throw them in that
would be nice for us regular guys too.

Speaker 4 (01:05:42):
Regular Joe very quickly on the inactive lifts have come
out and might explain a little bit of the falcons
My packers left tackle David Buckieri's out, so they're out
the best running back to the best wide receiver and
their left tackle. Could explain a lot of money on
the Falcons today.

Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
Absolutely, I know we'll have more information from a main man,
Nick Cope to spin us around the NFL. Right now,
Nick with the latest? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:06:04):
Buddy?

Speaker 7 (01:06:05):
All right, guys, Yes, Jeff just got to that news
there for the Packers. All those guys in active. Line
still currently Falcons minus three according to our friends at
bet MGM. That's moved up half a point this morning.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelsey defensive tackle Chris Jones. No surprise,
they are active, both guys making their season debuts. Jones

(01:06:25):
expected to play about twenty to thirty snaps today. Chiefs
laying three and a half on the road at Jacksonville
thanks to bet MGM. Texans quarterback CJ. Stroud popped up
on the injury report late this week with a shoulder injury.
He is officially active and will play a little side
note in this matchup him and Anthony Richardson on the.

Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Other side for the Colts.

Speaker 7 (01:06:45):
It's the youngest quarterback matchup ever in the NFL, just
over forty three combined years between the two of them,
Texans laying a point at home.

Speaker 1 (01:06:54):
According to bet MGM, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
Funny, real fascinating. Yeah, Tom Brady was older than that
last year.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 7 (01:07:02):
There's got to be a way I'm gonna find out
what the oldest quarterback matchup is, because now it's got
to be Brady involved at some point.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Hopefully Steve de Berg was in that.

Speaker 5 (01:07:11):
Yeah, wow, your guys are old enough those Steve de
Berger is all right. Oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:07:16):
Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is active. They're going against
the Titans. DeAndre Hopkins is active for Tennessee. Remember Austin
Eckler out the running back for the Chargers, but apparently
he's got a good chance to come back next week,
Chargers Lane two and a half on the road in Nashville.
According to bet MGM, let's go to the Ravens at
the Bengals Baltimore. Tight End Mark Andrews is active. Running

(01:07:39):
Back Melvin Gordon was elevated to the active roster yesterday.
Ravens currently three and a half point underdogs in Cincinnati.
According to bet MGM, Bears at Buccaneers Chicago wide receiver
Chase Claypool is active and for Chicago's well running back
Dante Foreman, he is a healthy inactive Buccaneers favored by
two and a half at home according to bet MGM.

(01:08:02):
Then in the late afternoon window, Dallas receiver Brandon Cooks
is not expected to play. Cowboys healthy favorites at home
against the Jets, laying eight and a half, cording to
bet MGM, guys back to.

Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
You, Thank you Nick.

Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
bet MGM. BETMGM is now available under one wallet in
select states. For example, if you're in the DMV area,
no need to worry about making separate accounts for DC,
Maryland and Virginia. When crossing state borders. Simply log on
to your existing account instead of creating a new one.

(01:08:36):
You know, it's interesting you want to have strong stances
when it comes to betting, but you also want to
be fluid at the same time. It's a weird mixture
right there. But I think about you, Jeff, where we
start off the show, and you weren't with the Falcons.
But there's new information now, No, David Bachtiari, we knew
about Christian Watson and Aaron Jones. With all that combined,

(01:08:58):
what do you think now about the Falcons minus three?

Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
No, I'm still not doing that. I'm not betting a
Desmond ridder, sorry, as a home favorite against a good
Packers football team.

Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
Just I'm just not.

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
I mean I if he was plus three, sign me
up minus three, not touching a crack.

Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
At you crack yeah, no think no, no, no green back. Actually,
now that it's over, moved to the three. I would
lean to the three.

Speaker 4 (01:09:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
So yeah, I'm not I'm not looking to bet Atlanta.
Like Seamus said, though, listen, I do know many sharp guy.
I know two different sharp guys that bet ridiculous amounts
of money. I couldn't believe how much this one guy bet.
Who I do respect for Atlanta to you know, go yes, no, yes,
to go to the playoffs, overseason wins, win division. So
but I am not sold at all.

Speaker 3 (01:09:45):
By the way, A question for you, Crack, because you
like to do things that are correlated, right, but not always.
So for instance, you're on the under. Let's say you're
on the under Jordan Love's passing yard, sure, and all
of a sudden the line moves and you're like, hey,
I could get you know, I could get well, I
guess it is correlated if you take the Packers plus three.

(01:10:08):
But if there's ever a situation where it's not correlated,
do you just say because a lot of people say, well,
I don't want to go against my earlier prop bet
and bet on this team, I think you just say
the heck with it. There's a good number I'm betting the.

Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
Every bet is every bet is individual. But however, if
you ever noticed the same game parlays that I build,
they're always correlated. I'm not going to build one of
them without it being correlated. So yes, But however, if
doesn't mean a number can't change and become an independent
bet on its own, I'll bet things that are totally

(01:10:42):
I don't even realize until you know, literally till after
the game started or after the game's over what I
had to have so many bets sometimes, especially on a Saturday.
So to answer your question, every bet is normally independent
of another bet. But for the same game parlays that
we build for the BETMGM part, I usually I actually

(01:11:03):
always do it with a correlation.

Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
So all right, we've got Jeff Schwartz eight year NFL veteran.
We've got Bill Krackenberger, Sharp dude crackwins dot com sports handicapper.
I'm Brian No coming up next. A lot of key
injuries on both sides. What do we make of this matchup?
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by betmgm. O.

(01:11:24):

Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
This same game, Carlanks.

Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
All right, crack lay out a same gamer for us here.

Speaker 5 (01:12:17):
Just like I said, I'm gonna build one of these
with some correlation. Let's look at tomorrow night. Let's look
at the Carolina New Orleans game. So under thirty nine
and a half to Michael Thomas under forty nine and
a half receiving yards to Derek Carr under two forty
nine and a half passing yards. You know you scroll,
toggle up and down. That's the numbers I picked. So

(01:12:39):
picking those three, you get back a plus three twenty okay,
one hundred wins just three hundred and twenty bucks.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Okay, so you're under for the game, right under thirty
nine and a half. Yep, you said, Saints receiver Michael
Thomas under forty nine and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
And what's the number for Derek Carr.

Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Derek Carr under two forty nine and a half passing
yard and a half on the scroll?

Speaker 4 (01:12:58):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (01:12:59):
All right, little correlation, it's just you know, listen, you
sprinkle a little little nugget. You don't go crazy. You
have some fun. You want to watch a game. I
know how it happens. If you're going to have a
bet anyway on the game. There you go. There.

Speaker 3 (01:13:12):
It is very nice Monday, by the way, with the
Saints and Panthers. Jeff, what's the dollar about. We're putting
on Saints Panthers again this year? Okay, all right, we're
just running it back.

Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
I didn't know if we bumped it up to five
thousand or not. Last year.

Speaker 4 (01:13:29):
I didn't look for my Panthers either, and we ended
up winning. So I'm curious how this one goes on
this Monday night. It's too many football games this week.
It's at seven o'clock. I thought about taking my kidneys.
I don't like that.

Speaker 5 (01:13:40):
I don't like the too many night football games. I
don't like I don't even know this. You guys will
answer this. Are they both? I know? Obviously? What were
they both broadcast on different networks? Obviously?

Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Well, ones on n and the other ones on ABC.

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
Oh there you go, all right, so they're both on BRO.
So you guys will have your splick screens going.

Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
Yeah, I probably won't watch Panthers, to be honest with you. Okay,
Oh no.

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
I'm a pass on that one.

Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
I just take a pass.

Speaker 5 (01:14:07):
Yeah, let me just tell you something. Pittsburgh is being
bet right now as we speak, Pittsburgh. I know this
looks like the funny line of the week. I don't
know who we're gonna get to it, but I just
wanted to say it now anyway. Yeah, this is like
the funny line of the week.

Speaker 4 (01:14:20):
Guys.

Speaker 5 (01:14:21):
This Pittsburgh game, I mean, Cleveland look good against Cincinnati.
Pittsburgh looked tremendously bad. Every sharp guy, every square everyone thought. Well,
you know, and listen, you gotta understand that people go
off preseason a little bit, but Pittsburgh's supposed to be
better this year. However, this is the real week. Pittsburgh
Cleveland great game. I think Pittsburgh's a great teaser leg.

(01:14:45):
So just to let you know, going through the key
numbers of three and seven, I think Pittsburgh a low
total like that down to thirty eight. Now most of
the sports books. I think it's really good to go
through the key numbers and take Pittsburgh as a home dog. Here,
we're gonna see just how bad they are. It's this
is a great situation for Pittsburgh though.

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
Yeah, divisional game, right, so they think about knowing the
Browns very well, and I like these teams that are
coming off embarrassing performances as well. Yes, correct, the power
of embarrassment is real in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (01:15:16):
I have Pittsburgh in my contest this week. I think
it's a great spot for them. They look terrible Week one.
Tollman is a great home dog. Stefanski's bad in division.
I think he's six and eighteen something like that in
division against the spread. And again this is the important
I thing of watching games. Sometimes Deshaun Watson wasn't very good.

(01:15:37):
The Browns won because the Bengals stunk more than anything else.
And I think Pittsburgh's defense I just think I think
we get a bounce back game from I don't like
betting standalone games like that. I guess it's not really
stand alone. There's two games of Monday Night, but the
number to me is just too good to pass up
in the situation.

Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
Yeah, I like when there's a stinky line in your
estimation there crack for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:15:58):
Yeah. No, this is one of those those funny lines man,
when you just say, like, this looks too funny. I
mean it looks like after week one, Come on, what
do you think the public's gonna be on here? You
think the public's gonna be on Pittsburgh. I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
You know, the same point spread. The Patriots favorite are
two point two and a half point underdog. The Dolphins
offense looked all world last week, and then you have
the The Patriots is a sneaky home underdog. Another not
as sneaky as Steelers, but that stands out.

Speaker 4 (01:16:30):
I like the guys.

Speaker 5 (01:16:32):
It could be another situation where you tease the dog there.
I like teasing lower totals. But yeah, I mean think
about New England getting you know through the three and
the seven there. That should be We we got some
fun games on tap for prime time in Miami, New
England tonight, in Cleveland, Pittsburgh tomorrow. Wow, they should be fun.

Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
Absolutely, it's gonna be a ton of fun right there.
Can't wait. Hopefully profitable, too crack, hopefully profitable.

Speaker 5 (01:16:54):
Major line move. Like I said, guys, it's going red
and black on my screen right now.

Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
It's everything just flickering.

Speaker 5 (01:17:02):
It looks like a Christmas tree when all the big one,
when the major sportsbooks move, they all move, so they're
all headed towards the two.

Speaker 3 (01:17:09):
All right, We've got two really intriguing matchups. Some injury issues,
to say the least that is on the way. Oh
what is going on? Everybody? Week two is or here
less than an hour away until kickoff, Ben, I'll tell
you what injury issues already this early in the season.
The biggest storyline obviously Aaron Rodgers out for the season. Sorry, Jeff,

(01:17:33):
maybe not the Super.

Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
Bowl, Joe?

Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
Oh sorry, Yeah, he might come back in five months.

Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
Sure, yeah, might come back. Innovative surgery. Just have to
have Zach Wilson get him through the AFC.

Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
Totally likely doing this storyline, dude, Come on, this is
so silly.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
But in any event, the Jets taking on the Cowboys
today in what sets up to be a defensive slobber
knocker right there, Zach Wilson going up against the Cowboys defense,
which was dominant last week against the Giants. I don't
think anybody's expecting, you know, Zach Wilson to be all world.

(01:18:12):
And by the same token, the Jets defense was tremendous
last week, forced Josh Allen Bill's quarterback to turn the
ball over four times. So going up against Dak Prescott,
who had his injury issues last year, no turnovers last
week against the Giants, but he had seven straight games
with at least one interception, So we'll see if Dak

(01:18:32):
this is the true test. I feel like, can he
be on point in what shouldn't be a route today
against a top flight Jets defense? Got my eye on
Dak as well.

Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
Yeah, I think this passing number I saw is like
two eighteens, pretty low, right, But you know what rose
that the Cowboys offense was good, not great against the Giants.
I mean they scored twice on obviously non offensive possessions.
One defense won special teams. The Jets is really good.
The only the only thing, the only thing I cast
you about this this game is that when you have

(01:19:08):
a defense like the Jets are really any good defense
and your offense can't match at least give you a
little bit of help by the third, late third fourth,
late third quarter, early fourth quarter, you kind of start
to wear down a little bit. In this situation where
you feel good about the Jets. It's thirteen to ten,
Cowboys are winning, and all of a sudden, the Cowboys
goes to twenty ten and it gets to twenty seven

(01:19:29):
to ten, like it can spiral quickly. If Zach Wilson
cannot play well and I don't know why we believe
he's gonna play well. So remember his offense corner is
Nathaniel Hackett, who has never been in good Oc. Anywhere
he's been. We have, we have data of this. We
put that was that Deck Wilson is playing like I

(01:19:49):
get to Cowboys defense. That's good. That's what worries me
about the Jets. Plus the nine, which I think most
sharp people would be on would be on the Jets here.
It's a lot of points. It's a lot points NFL game.

Speaker 5 (01:20:00):
Right, definitely, especially in a low total like this.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
Yeah, I don't feel great about it if I am
back in the Jets here.

Speaker 5 (01:20:09):
There's there's some really I'm not you know, guys, I
think you guys know I hate trends. I'm not a
trend year over year. I'm only same year trend. There's
some really favorable lifetime trends which just they make common
sense though, because of the overreactions of the public of
teams that you know that like from previous weeks on

(01:20:31):
how they did off that first week performance, and Dallas
is clearly you know, even though the Jets won, if
the Jets would have lost, that would even been made
this a maybe stronger trend. But Dallas, you know, after
that right away, this line was nine and a half.
After we've seen what happened with Rogers last week from three.
By the way, it was three sticking on the screen.

(01:20:52):
Three everywhere the pre fop line. You know, you can
bet any any week given throughout the year. So the
line was three. No quarterback is worth six and a
half points in a game, I don't think, I mean,
you know, come on, and as we see how good
their defense was, they stepped up really unbelievable down ten
points halftime quarterback on for the season they were, they

(01:21:14):
had to be so down, but yet they got up
and it was really a testament to that to that team.
And they may keep it closer here than people think. Uh,
based on the Dallas forty to nothing, that's what I
was referring to the forty to nothing game. They may
keep it closer here, big Big. I stayed away from

(01:21:34):
the in the Survivor pool, so you know there's reasons why.
Then again, in these pools you have to keep you
have to keep these games open for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
That's its own weeks if you survive that long, So
you have to keep one of those six games, one
of those six teams alive. So maybe that's the reason
two I left them off there. But anyway, I think
it'll be better game that people think. I'm looking forward

(01:21:56):
to seeing it, but nothing will surprise me. This is
the NFL. Another blowout wouldn't surprise me, you know, thirty nothing.
But then again, the Jets actually winning the game wouldn't
surprise me either.

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
So yeah, hey, listen, man, I hear what you're saying, crack,
and I mean think about this too. That was a
late comeback for the Jets. It wasn't just a comeback
with everything you explained we're talking about. There's about five
minutes to go and they came back like that. So
something to keep in mind. I think also a lot
of the conversation when we're talking about games in general,

(01:22:26):
it turns into just the quarterbacks. And if you look
at Zach Wilson, he's nothing right home about. But you
look at this spot with his offensive line going up
against that Cowboys pass rush, and so that's where Jeff
Nathaniel Hackett, he's got to do a good job of
putting Zach Wilson in as good of a spot as
he can be, because that is not a favorable matchup.

(01:22:49):
He's got to move the pocket a lot of quick
stuff get the ball out. But you can't have him
just holding the ball back there with a weaker offensive
line against Micahpark, that is a recipe for disasters. So
I want to see what not only Zach Wilson does,
but can that offensive line play better? Can that Thaniel
Hacket help Zach Wilson out somewhat with his game planning

(01:23:13):
and his play calling something to keep your eye on
there as well.

Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
It absolutely is And you guys made the point and
it's certainly true last week about the comeback. But you know,
if Dak Prescott can just not throw the ball to
the other team like we saw Josh Allen do, the
game is much different, right, And so Josh Allen was
not able to contain his excitement to throw the ball
to the Jets. And if the Cowboys just play a

(01:23:38):
solid game plan, no mistakes, they will cover this game.
I'm not putting money on it, but I do think
that putting money on Zach Wilson to me, even though
nine half points is a lot of points in the NFL,
Like you think about all the different scores, So you
have to do Guys, you think about the scores about
some of these games, right, if they're not for nine points? Right,
you can see the Cowboys win this game twenty four

(01:23:59):
to seventeen, Jets cover, right, Yeah, twenty one seventeen, Jets cover,
seventeen fourteen, twenty fourties are all outcomes that seemed very
plausible in this game. Sure, that's why I think the
play would be the Jets. But I'm not gonna. I can't,
I can't stop.

Speaker 5 (01:24:14):
What do you think bring yourself to do it? I love? Yeah,
that's good, that's good.

Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
I guess what do you think the point total needs
to be for the Cowboys that the Jets can't get
within that number?

Speaker 5 (01:24:25):
You understand, like how many points did Dallas have to score?

Speaker 4 (01:24:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Like, does Dallas have to get to twenty seven?

Speaker 5 (01:24:32):
Yeah, they have to get to thirty.

Speaker 4 (01:24:33):
Yeah, that's a good point, right, if they get to
twenty seven seventeen, it would have to be yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's a good point. I think that's why you got
to you gotta put the money on the Jets here.

Speaker 6 (01:24:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
How about this other game too? Chargers at the Titans
injury issues on both sides. So you've got Austin Eckler,
who had a magnificent day running the ball against my
Dolphins last week. He's out with an ankle. Joey Bosa
is in, but he's questionable with the hamstring. You look
at the Titans side, Scary is all banged up, Christian
Fulton starting corner out, Amani Hooker starting safety out. You

(01:25:05):
also have jeff starting offensive lineman. Peter Skoronsky, your guy,
he's out as well. So with these injury issues, how
do you think this one sets up?

Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
To me?

Speaker 3 (01:25:16):
I think it sets up where Herbert is throwing the
ball a lot. I think this is a much different
game plan than Week one against the Dolphins, where Austin
Eckler's is running it, running it. I think you're seeing
a lot more throws against a much better rush defense.
Jeffrey Simmons and the Titans. They're not gonna allow like
the backup Chargers running back to do his Austin Eckler

(01:25:36):
impression from last week. That's not happening today.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
I'm with you there, But the problem I have in
this game is that the Titans offense is just horrific,
Like it's just bad it was bad last season, and
they rolled back with Ryan Tannehill and Will Levis and
Malik Willis and it just looked bad again. Five field
goals on the road in New Orleans, and thankfully Ray

(01:26:01):
Bowl was like, keep that field goal to cover that
game for me, Yeah, like he was down four, could
go with about five minutes left, very easily. Should have
you know, gone forward and fourth and five, And but
I was like, I'll take you, buddy. Their defense is
always good in Tennessee, right, but if their offense cannot
keep pace, then the Chargers will eventually win this game

(01:26:22):
and cover this game.

Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Right.

Speaker 6 (01:26:24):
But but.

Speaker 4 (01:26:27):
I think part of wagering, at least for me, I
don't know if this is any crack. I think you
just you wager based off of your numbers and whatnot.
Like I have to sort of be able to stomach
like rooting for a team like I have to be
able to like. And so that's why it's like putting
money on Zach Wilson Desmond Rider. It's like, I, I
don't mind rooting for the Chargers to cover this game,

(01:26:50):
but on the road, the Chargers covering a game that
gets a quality team like the Titans.

Speaker 1 (01:26:54):
Man like you know, like I can.

Speaker 4 (01:26:58):
I can convince myself like I have the Hackers this
week in the contest at the Patriot, I can. I
can back a Bill Belichick team at home who played
better than the second half of that game and gets
the Redhawk Dolphins team. I can stomach die right, I
can stomach Mike Tomlin as a home underdog.

Speaker 5 (01:27:12):
I can.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
I can live with those wagers if they lose. But
like Chargers on the road, the Chargers who charger everything
on the I can't, Brian, I can't do that.

Speaker 5 (01:27:23):
I hear you. This game opened up three down to
two and a half. I know two different groups that
bet Tennessee and I definitely lean Tennessee too. With the three,
it was a good line. I mean, their offense struggled
big time last week, but then again, the Chargers defense
also struggled big time last week. So listen Tannehill. My god,

(01:27:44):
that he takes some bed this week. He was buried
by all these shows. I listened to a couple of
different podcasts and they he had three and they get
three interceptions. So I mean, I understand first week, but
he has to play better. They're not going to win
this game. But the Chargers are the one of the
teams that really maybe it's because of the previous you

(01:28:06):
know Chargers. I just never made money with the Chargers
on anything I.

Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
Did, but no one does.

Speaker 5 (01:28:12):
God, it seems like I've lost money so much money
on the Chargers over the past decade.

Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
Money with the Chargers with anything I do.

Speaker 5 (01:28:19):
I love that hopefully. Yeah, I do have a little
peanut on Tennessee because I got some plus three. But
uh yeah, it seems like I always struggled with with
with with with betting for or against the Chargers, and
uh yeah I lean Tennessee in this game. Like you said,
Chargers on the road, Tennessee's at home here. I don't

(01:28:39):
even I can't even believe this game was three. So
it looked like a pretty good bet from the two
groups I know. And I actually bet at myself for
like I said, a peanut.

Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
Austin Eckler, he rushed for one hundred and seventeen yards
last week. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what Derek
Henry does today. This is going to be a smash
mouth football game from the Tenness seized standpoint. Offensively, it's
gonna be much different styles. Now you think about styles
make fights. If you're talking about a boxing match, you're

(01:29:08):
talking about a knockout artist and like a finesse counterpuncher,
if you like two very very different styles. Where I
think the Chargers in this matchup, they're gonna be throwing
it like crazy. I think the Titans are going to
be running it like crazy. So I think that's the
way it's gonna play out. It'll be interesting to see
which style ends up winning on this side. But I

(01:29:28):
get you, guys, like I like the points in this
matchup with the Chargers, and that defense has got to
be better than it was last week. But I don't
know if it's gonna be good enough. I really don't
to win this game out right. It might sound crazy
to some, but the Titans, and that's the thing, man,
The Titans plays such a physical style of football, and
I don't want to make the Chargers out to be

(01:29:49):
only finesse, because they're not. But the Titans played just
this rough and tumble style and early on in the
season when that doesn't come back to bite you, and
they aren't all banged up.

Speaker 5 (01:30:04):
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:30:04):
I know they have injuries today, but even the guys
going I think being fresher earlier in the season home opener,
coming off a bad loss. Yeah, I like the Titans
plus the points in this spot.

Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
I think that's the only wager to make here. But
I have no feel for how this could go because
of the Titans offense could just perk up this game.
The Chargers run defense has been bad, as you mentioned,
it's been bad for years. I don't know why Staley
can't fix that for some reason. Yeah, it's just a
nod to me. It's an interesting game to wager on.

Speaker 3 (01:30:37):
I think it's a it's a scary game because it
has the potential to make you look really stupid, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:30:43):
So, yeah, the Chargers going into to start the season,
or the Chiefs going on into the Bengals going oh
and two? Are the Bills going oh in too?

Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
Like someone probably will someone is, but it's I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
I don't. I just think those teams are are good
enough to not be oh and to.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
Basically, I don't know, man, you might have I think
you have at least one of those four that you
mentioned you might have two. Well, you got a legitimate
shot to have two of those four lose. I don't
see the Bills losing. That's probably the team that will lose.
I don't see the Bills losing at home to the Raiders.
But would I be shocked if the Chargers lost?

Speaker 5 (01:31:23):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:31:24):
Would I be shocked if the Bengals lost at home
to the Ravens. No, it's a divisional matchup. Goodness, the
Ravens almost one with the who's the backup? Qb Lamar
and the Yeah Tyler Huntley in the playoff game, he
doesn't fumble, the Ravens might win that game in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (01:31:42):
Yeah, I do. The Chargers being ohing too in this
specific game feels more realistic than all the other options.
I just totally can't say it's losing today. Jacksonvill's good.
I don't think they're losing today. I just they played
sole point of offensive Week one. Their defense is far
better than we give them four. They're not gonna lose
this game in Jacksonville today. I think Mahomes has just

(01:32:04):
a ridiculous day. I actually put to Darius Tony in
my fantasy lineup today that I had on my bench.
I think they can just like give him the ball
and say, buddy, here you go. They need him to
be part of the offense. He has to be part
of the offense. So give him the ball and let
him be part of the offense and just trust that
he plays better this week. So I just think, is

(01:32:26):
I am That's kind of where I sit with that.
With the Chiefs game, I think they're gonna win. So
maybe the Chargers of the surprise zone and two team.

Speaker 5 (01:32:33):
The Kansas City game is probably the game that out
of the every game on this board that I'm looking at,
because I look at three different sportsbooks opening lines to
the closing lines, they are exactly the same on that game.
So there has been two way action on that game
three and fifteen and a half almost across the board
on all three three minus fifteen, but it's exactly the same.

(01:32:56):
That that means to me that there's actually there is
some act on Jacksonville too, though not just the one
way there By.

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
The way, I have to mention this real fast. The
Cadarius Tony receiving yards prop is at twenty eight and
a half, and it's juice to the under. But I
hear what you're saying, Jeff, where it's like, you know,
let's let's give him a couple of easy completions right
like he's a pro. I don't see lightning striking again
for a second straight week. You gotta get to twenty

(01:33:23):
nine receiving yards. That could be a completion. It would
have been the one that he dropped, you know, the
deep ball.

Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
I'm gonna bet that.

Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
I'm just tell you right now, I'm gonna bet that.

Speaker 5 (01:33:32):
All right.

Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. We've got
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian
now coming up next. It's a mixed bag for this
team going forward. Tremendous on one end of the field,
not so tremendous on the other side of the ball.
We'll get to that matchup coming up around the corner.

(01:33:52):
We are just about forty minutes away from kickoff. Hang
with a series Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented
by bet MGM. Oh we are thirty five minutes away
from kickoff. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff
presented by bet MGM. Once a day, play bet MGM's
free to play eight bit Barry for a chance to

(01:34:13):
win daily prizes. Play us Hall of Famer Barry Sanders
and choose to spin, stiff arm or juke your way
to the end zone to win prizes. If Barry scores
a touchdown, you score a reward. All right. So we've
got the Dolphins against the Patriots Sunday Night football. Patriots
a two and a half point home underdog. The Dolphins

(01:34:36):
it was a mixed bag last week. To a tongue
of Iloa throws for four hundred and sixty six yards.
You have Tyreek Hill with over two hundred yards receiving.
They were tremendous. The defense not so much. Defense gave
up two hundred and thirty four rushing yards to the
Chargers last week. So you don't have to be a
Rhodes scholar. Word are the Patriots gonna try to do?

(01:34:57):
I can try to air it out with Mac Jones.
You're gonna try to run the ball effectively. That's one
of the parts of this thing. And then also, I
can't wait to see that Dolphins high octane offense against
a divisional opponent and a Bill Belichick coach team. They
played solid defense over there, so that to see that
play out, that's gonna be magnificent. But the Patriots defense

(01:35:20):
got to do their part because Mac Jones and that
offense limited they can only score so much.

Speaker 4 (01:35:25):
Yeah, they got down sixteen to nothing early to the Eagles.
A couple turnovers didn't help, and then they outscored them,
what twenty five to twenty four to thirteen?

Speaker 3 (01:35:35):
I think the rest of the game, well, they only
scored they got to twenty, right, so.

Speaker 4 (01:35:40):
The twenty five to twenty was a final score. So
twenty they outscored him, twenty to thirteen. I believe then
it I mean to me, twenty to nine is how
they outscored them. They played five in the second half
like they played at the pitcher. I thought they would
be this season. Ball control, troll, line of scrimmage, play,
really good defense. The question is Tyreek Hill always cooked

(01:36:00):
Bill Belichick defenses, So how do they how do they
stop him? Is Christian Zales just one on one? You know,
Belichick for so many years has double the number one
wide receiver and then put his number one corner on
the second guy. So they put him on Waddle and
then double Tyreek Hill. I'm just curious how they stop

(01:36:21):
the Dolphins offense because then when the Dolphins offense is rolling,
it is a difficult thing to stop. I have New
England plus three. I like that number. I think this
is a good spot to pick them here. But I
do have my concerns about defensively being able to keep
up with the Dolphins passing attack.

Speaker 5 (01:36:40):
I actually, you know, this game was a game I
almost pushed the button on I seen a three for
a hair minus one fifteen. I did not. I guess
that's the way I would lean. But this is a
great primetime game to watch here, old school division rival. Listen,
how good did the Dolphins look last week? Jesus? It

(01:37:02):
looked like invincible with with tu us so uh and
again like you said that, with Hill putting up big
numbers with there and and historically against Belichick. You know,
the Patriots did hang in there. And I'll tell you
what I thought. The Patriots probably should have won the game,
and they really had a good uh well, I mean
I shouldn't say won the game because but they had.
They definitely should have covered the game, that's for sure.

(01:37:24):
The two point conversion at the end, I think there
was a penalty too that made it a longer two
point conversion at the end of the game there, But
I think they definitely should have covered the game last week,
and and like I said, I would lean to them,
but I'm just not a Mac Jones fan. I don't
know even I didn't even say it on the on
the Aarrol. Here here's another prop for you guys. I

(01:37:46):
gave it to you last week. I think, Jeff, I
think it was a I think it actually lost last week.
It went over. I like Jones passing yards under again today.
So as a matter of fact, I didn't bet. I
bet a little little bet on it. I'm gonna do
some lines searching and make another bet on it. I
always like to bet a little bit closer towards game
time on primetime games because I'm betting unders eighty percent

(01:38:08):
something like that, seventy I'm betting unders. I usually bet
towards game time on primetime games when everyone loves to
bet over because it's fun. It's not fun to root
for no offense. So uh, that's something I'll look to
do more towards tonight. But anyway, it should be a
good game.

Speaker 3 (01:38:26):
How about would you dare bet under Tua right here?

Speaker 5 (01:38:31):
You know, I'm sure if everyone's betting over, so you know,
it's interesting. I wouldn't be betting over you know, of
anything under.

Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got hooks vanishing, right, So a
couple of games where Cincinnati, San Francisco the Chiefs, we'll
get to that momentarily where that hook can come in
very very handy, and it could come in handy if
it's not there. So we'll discuss that coming up. Nick

(01:39:00):
cope with us this morning to spin us around the
NFL landscape. What is going on here?

Speaker 5 (01:39:05):
Nick?

Speaker 1 (01:39:06):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (01:39:06):
Guys?

Speaker 7 (01:39:07):
We got one more look at the active and inactive list.
Let's start with the Packers and the Falcons Green Bay
with the slew of inactives. Aaron Jones, a running back,
receiver Christian Wonkins, left tackle David Baktiari all out today.
Falcons receiver Cardero Patterson is inactive. This line currently Falcons
minus three. That's moved a half point this morning, minus

(01:39:28):
three in favor of the Falcons. According to Bett MGM,
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce defensive tackle Chris Jones are active,
both making their season debuts. Jones is expected to play
about twenty to thirty snaps. This line has gone down
a half point lately. Chiefs now minus three on the
road at Jacksonville. Texans Quarterback c J. Stroud is active
after he cropped up on the injury report late this week,

(01:39:51):
and he has receiver John Metchi active. This is a
cool story he set to make his NFL debut. Metchi
missed his rookie season last year while battling leukemia and
the left tackle Jeamie Tunsel. He is inactive for Houston Texans,
favored by a point at home according to bet MGM.
Chargers at Titans, LA defensive end Joey Bosa active, Titans

(01:40:12):
receiver DeAndre Hopkins active, Chargers two and a half point
favorites on the road. Seahawks at Lions. Seattle safety Jamal
Adams is out. Detroit left tackle Taylor Decker is Outlines
favored by four and a half at home.

Speaker 1 (01:40:24):
Raiders at Bills.

Speaker 7 (01:40:25):
Damar Hamlin a healthy inactive for Buffalo Bills, favored by
seven and a half at home.

Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
Ravens at Bengals.

Speaker 7 (01:40:32):
Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews is active since he running
back Chris Evans is inactive. Bengals three point favorites at home.
That's down from three and a half according to bet MGM.
Bears at Buccaneers. Chicago receiver Chase Claypool is active running
back Dante forming a healthy inactive Buccaneers favored by two
and a half at home late afternoon window. Dallas receiver

(01:40:52):
Brandon Cooks not expected to play, and espno reporting for
one of the Monday night football games tomorrow. Brown's receiver
a Marii Cooper onlow likely to play. Browns are currently
two point favorites in Pittsburgh. By the way, I looked
up the oldest matchup of NFL quarterbacks in lieu of
our conversation last hour Brian Drew Brees and Tom Brady

(01:41:13):
a couple of years ago combined to eighty five years old.

Speaker 3 (01:41:16):
So there you go, good miss, good stuff right there, Nick.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM. So we've got some line movement on bet MGM.
It differs from other places, so you got to shop
around from place to place. But as we speak, we've
got the Bengals down to a three point favorite, the

(01:41:38):
Chiefs a three point road favorite. They were up to
three and a half, and then how about the Niners
down to just a seven point favorite, not seven? In
the hook anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:41:48):
Wow, Okay, yeah, they're going They're going correct. Do you
I feel like I put far less in a line
movement on like game Day. I feel like I used
to care about a lot more Now this year, I
feel like it doesn't move me as much to change
anything I think about a.

Speaker 5 (01:42:06):
Game betting on game Day, I challenge somebody on air,
on a different show I do during the week, I
challenge them for a large bet. I'm not going to
talk about the size of the bet here, but it's very,
very large. I challenge someone to pick five sides a week,
ten minutes before the game every week, and I want
you to just win, lay eleven to ten and win.

(01:42:27):
I challenge somebody's sides. That's how hard it is to
beat the NFL sides day of the game. So you're
talking about day of the game moves. There is a
syndicate group I know that does win day of the
game betting totals. For sure, sides very very hard to win.
I respect the early week moves, especially Monday morning. Those moves.

(01:42:48):
The guy that you remember last year, guys in starting
week three where we have a model that kicks in
with these moves. I hope you us are up early. Well,
I'm up early six in the morning. You guys are
up at nine. You'll get those plays, you'll get those
totals from me. I really think that they're the nuts.
They're the ones that are the approaching sixty percent compared
to games today when you're betting over under.

Speaker 7 (01:43:11):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:43:11):
For sure, very good point. I respect the early week
move was much better. How could you buy back?

Speaker 3 (01:43:17):
Yeah, and you can. You could tell me to go
jump in a river here, crack. But remember ben Stein?
Remember when we was win ben Stein's money. Yes, how
about crag. I want to do this as an exercise. Sure,
I want to pick five NFL sides right before the
early kickoff, so the show ends. We got about five
minutes before the early games kickoff. Sure if I pick

(01:43:38):
five sides and have a winning record at the end
of the season, sure, will you give me like ten
bucks or something like that?

Speaker 1 (01:43:45):
No, but you know what I'll do with you.

Speaker 5 (01:43:46):
I'll give you a great I'll give you a great deal. Okay,
I think we still we don't talk about on because
that's it's it's literally tip money to me and and
to you. You know you you you you're out there
spending big money. I've seen you already throwing money around
the casinos.

Speaker 3 (01:43:58):
Crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:43:59):
I think we have a two ondred dollar figure. You're
welcome to about the two hundred bucks on those on
that thing. Yeah, Brian, by the way, last year it's Acinnati.
He was firing at the windows. Last year was oh man,
every couple of minutes, like like big bank roll, asking
the misses for all of them. We got blocks to
put it on. I didn't know even gambled. Yeah, wait

(01:44:20):
a minute.

Speaker 3 (01:44:21):
So there was a debt that was forgiven last year
because you went up against uh it was Christian McCaffrey
his longest rush in a particular game. It was against
the Chargers. They came up short. You went up against me,
and I was like, crack, where do I wire you
the money? You're like, may forget about that. I don't
want to just forget.

Speaker 5 (01:44:40):
It's still now.

Speaker 3 (01:44:41):
You bring it back up and you're like, you're welcome
to bet the money you owe me. Is that all
works in your eye?

Speaker 5 (01:44:46):
Listen, in the end, it's a great deal. You don't
have to pay no matter what, but I'll pay you.
That's how confident I am a winning Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:44:52):
Okay, I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna do it even
if there's no money on the table here, I'm gonna
do it. Just what is it from Goodfellas?

Speaker 5 (01:45:00):
Like every line? What is it?

Speaker 4 (01:45:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:45:02):
One day some kids from the neighborhood. Oh yeah, they
brought my mom's groceries to her door.

Speaker 1 (01:45:08):
You know why.

Speaker 3 (01:45:09):
It was out of respect?

Speaker 5 (01:45:10):
Respect?

Speaker 3 (01:45:11):
Right, So if I have a winning record picking five
NFL sides per week, I feel like earning some of
your respect is worth quite a bit.

Speaker 5 (01:45:19):
Absolutely well, for sure, for sure it.

Speaker 3 (01:45:23):
Would help if you sweeten it with some actual cash,
but no.

Speaker 5 (01:45:27):
Good stuff, good stuff, and you're I was just I
don't remember. I talked so much, you know, and I
don't remember what I said about forgiving it. Yeah, of
course I did, but I just brought it up now,
I don't know. I just figured give you a chance.
It doesn't matter. You don't have to pay. You know,
that doesn't it's the greatest bet ever. But anyway, that's
how hard it is to going back to Jeff's question,
that's how hard it is. I do respect anyone that

(01:45:49):
can be You're absolutely right, five games a week against
the spread, game time, You're darn right. You're darn right.
I will be talking about you absolutely. I mean you
may even be on the CA wins team. Tell you
that much. I maybe hiring you.

Speaker 3 (01:46:02):
One can dream, one can dream, right there? Crap, absolutely,
but I'm doing that, Jeff.

Speaker 1 (01:46:06):
You want in on this for fun?

Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
Five sides before kick off each week, you could just
text me on our group.

Speaker 4 (01:46:11):
Yeah, we did so based off of the lines like, right,
why do you like our last commercial bank whatever?

Speaker 5 (01:46:16):
It could be the last hour to it don't have
to be. That could be the last hour.

Speaker 4 (01:46:19):
I want Kansas City at three right now? Okay, I
want I'm looking at bet MGM lines right of course, Yeah,
I want wasn't it's not blowing up right here? Okay,
here we go. I want Kansas City minus of three.
I want give me the Bengals minus three two.

Speaker 5 (01:46:41):
I'm taking the same.

Speaker 4 (01:46:41):
I'm just taking my contest things, but the better numbers.

Speaker 1 (01:46:44):
Of course, that's the idea. That's what I'm saying, that
one could beat this.

Speaker 4 (01:46:51):
Of course Steelers had a worse number, but Steears plus two.
I like the Texas minus one. Today. We haven't talked
about that game very much and I have one more
to go.

Speaker 3 (01:47:01):
That line has been going crazy this morning the Cardinals.

Speaker 4 (01:47:06):
The Giant's only fair by four and a half. Now
I got one more left, right, you know what? Give
me ah, give me the broncos mice the three and
a half. That looks like I go to four sit.

Speaker 5 (01:47:15):
Huh yeah, it works for bet MGM. By the way,
they got the best line. If you want to be
right there.

Speaker 4 (01:47:22):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:47:23):
Yeah, it is okay, give me go rapid fire, sure,
all right, I'll do it next, do it right after
the break, my man, I want to do a little
bit of homeworks. Pressure. You're going to get off to
a bad start, you know, my man. I'll give you
my five picks and then we'll go rapid fire. We'll

(01:47:46):
each have a selection and Crack will have his best
played the day, so we'll have nothing but an onslaught
for you, right, I love. That's like a minimum eight nine.
It's a minimum nine picks right there for you. Right
around the corner, we've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL
veteran duck alum big game next week there, Jeff Schwartz.

(01:48:06):
By the way, I saw this where Dion Sanders, Colorado
head coach. He mentions that Travis Hunter the two way
stud He's probably gonna be out for a couple of weeks,
so that's a big deal. Going up against Oregon next week.
There's no doubt. We've got Bill Krackenberger from crack wins
dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian No as previously mentioned,
Rabid Fire Picks Cracks play the day. You don't want

(01:48:28):
to miss it. That's on the way. We are less
than twenty minutes away from kickoff. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by betmgm. We are thirteen
minutes away from kickoff. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM.

Speaker 1 (01:48:48):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:48:48):
So props to the crew. Bo Benzon trusted producer. We've
got Chris Burfett, trusted technical producer, Nick Cope on the
updates today, keep it locked here on Fox Sports Radio.
Steve Hartman coming up next, Our guy, Jeff Wornberger coming
up next, Rich Jeff my bad Jeff Schwartz and Rich Ornberger.

Speaker 4 (01:49:12):
We're actually two separate offensive lines.

Speaker 3 (01:49:14):
Yeah, two separate offensive line, combine him into one. Great
for civil line.

Speaker 4 (01:49:20):
That was awesome because you have him on Saturdays, right, Yeah, yeah, Jeff,
that should be Jeff Wrenberger. I love it.

Speaker 5 (01:49:29):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:49:31):
Okay, I've got five gross picks for you.

Speaker 5 (01:49:34):
Oh my god, you're calling them gross? All right? That No, listen, people,
this is just something that we're just like, we're just
winging this. So don't be don't be going out, you know,
putting a five parlor together.

Speaker 3 (01:49:44):
You might want to go five team or off the bat.
I'm just telling you might want to go five team
or you're gonna hate these picks. That's why you're gonna
end up loving them. Okay, Titans plus two and a half. Yeah,
give me the Rams plus seven.

Speaker 5 (01:49:58):
I like that. That's good. I like you can go
with a the Dogs beautiful.

Speaker 4 (01:50:01):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (01:50:01):
Let's go with the favorite. You might not like this one.
Crack it's gonna seems it's so square it's sharp. Give
me the Lions minus four and a half. Okay, minus
two offensive tackles and Gino Smith. Yeah, I'll lay the foreigner.

Speaker 4 (01:50:12):
The lines are also down down their left tackle. I
think I heard of the update too.

Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
Yeah, they'll be fine. Got the Steelers plus two. Yeah,
and my grosest pick, give me the Bears plus two
and a half. Who's taking the Bears.

Speaker 5 (01:50:28):
That that is the grocers, Picky.

Speaker 4 (01:50:33):
I don't know who's taking the Bears right now, but
I'm sure you don't know who's taking the Bucks as
a favorite either, who's taking the Bucks two and a
half one?

Speaker 3 (01:50:44):
Last week? A lot of times you go from the
last thing you saw, and at least Tampa one and
the Bears were a freaking rack.

Speaker 5 (01:50:53):
The Lars might be worse than we think. I hate,
I hate going off week one, but they might be
worse when people think.

Speaker 4 (01:50:59):
And this was this was at three most of the week, right, crack.
I just moved the two half today.

Speaker 5 (01:51:03):
Yeah, it was three on Monday, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:51:06):
Okay, all right, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:51:07):
Just sitting by my computer waiting for this college football
wines to drop. Oh wow, refreshing.

Speaker 5 (01:51:15):
Yeahs on a little bit earlier, I said five and
I met. I actually met five year at time anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:51:19):
So yeah, I saw, I saw Jeff Benson announced they're
gonna put them up at eleven pm and eleven ten pm. Okay,
we've in Las Vegas, though, so I don't have like
a crack. I'm gonna wire you some money, buddy.

Speaker 5 (01:51:30):
I'm always afraid for you. Guys like I'm always afraid
to text you guys that late. By the way, I
hope you turn your phones off at night because I
do silent. Okay, good.

Speaker 4 (01:51:39):
I'm a millennial. My phone is never on loud ever
in my life, so I'm not sure anyone my age
ever has their phone on loud. So you can take
any time you want.

Speaker 5 (01:51:46):
Yeah, No, I hate text out, you know. I've got
to be honest with you. You guys missed out on
a lot of plays because because I should have asked you.
I don't want to text you. I want I'm making
these plays at night because it's like twelve year time.
I'm like, oh my god, mister Schwartz is gonna kill me?

Speaker 4 (01:51:58):
Like who is? Absolutely like Jeff, There's nothing more like
waking up to then I text some Crack about a
prop bet to take this week. Please make my day.

Speaker 3 (01:52:09):
Fire away, absolutely, fire away. All right, let's dive into this.

Speaker 1 (01:52:16):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 3 (01:52:18):
Okay, we each have a pick for you, Krack. We'll
start with you, buddy.

Speaker 5 (01:52:22):
Listen, I'm going a prop here because I like everything
on there on this guy Juju Patriots under three and
a half receptions minus one fifty under receiving yards I mean,
I really like under on this guy this week. I
don't think they're gona think he's gonna be one of
the targets. So that's one I definitely bet.

Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
All Right, maybe I'm just a swimming off for doing this.
I'm taking the Packers plus three. I just know it's
not wrong with that. I still don't get it, don't
it Just that makes sense to me.

Speaker 3 (01:52:50):
I am rolling with the Tennessee Titans plus two and
a half. I still like it. I think they're gonna
run the ball effectively. I think Herbert is going to
throw the ball eight ton. That's why I love his
his completion prop, his passing attempts prop. But I just
I can't back the Chargers in this spot. I think
that even though they're gonna find success and there're gonna

(01:53:13):
be some points scored. I also like the over by
the way forty five and a half. I think that
the Titans. It's one of those picks where it's tied
too much to the previous season and you're think I
trust the Charges a little bit better. I feel a
little bit more comfortable backing Herbert than Tannehill. I don't
think it's gonna end up being the right side minus
do an half. Give me the Titans plus two and

(01:53:35):
a half. I think the power running game is enough
to get it done to.

Speaker 5 (01:53:39):
I have a question, Jeff, how didn't you use Green
Bay on your five fix? Though?

Speaker 6 (01:53:46):
That no.

Speaker 4 (01:53:49):
Was not I think, no, I must have missed it.
I'm just going.

Speaker 5 (01:53:53):
Because I knew you understand what came on air. Jeff
was talking about this game on air. I never got
it feeling.

Speaker 4 (01:54:00):
I know it's one of my it's one of my
contest picks. So I got it like what I got
like Packers back one though.

Speaker 5 (01:54:05):
No, no, no, this this is a funny line. I agree, man,
and my days on airports books out here will not
go to three. They're both two and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:54:14):
So just to let you know, there's, by the way,
a weird amount of left tackles out today. Seattle's out
there left tackle Detroit, the Texans, uh, the Packers blaw
left tackles out today?

Speaker 3 (01:54:27):
Not good lot could be a big deal, no doubt.
Let's get into this as well.

Speaker 1 (01:54:36):
This is the best play of the day. You can
sit man, all.

Speaker 5 (01:54:41):
Right, crack of your h I almost talked about it
earlier a couple of times. By accident, But yeah, Baltimore,
CITs Y. I like the under there. Uh it's forty
five and a half. Pretty solid, couple forty six a
couple forty five, So forty five and a half at
bet MGM, I'll go with that number under Cincinnati Baltimore.
I think they may come out of little bit hesitant
again this week, and let's see what happens. Guys, have

(01:55:04):
a good day. Percentage of bankrolld n't go crazy. It's
the NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:55:07):
There you go, Corraig. By the way, how do you
think Jeff and I are going to fare on our
five picks?

Speaker 5 (01:55:12):
I actually think you're gonna I want you both to
do good. I've got youse down for both to three
and two.

Speaker 3 (01:55:17):
Three and two. There you go, Okay, I'll take it
all right, how it goes. We're already you know. Sixty's
the good guys winning big. Everybody enjoy Week two. We'll
catch you soon.
