that one seven to three right now, Joe Milton and
the Tennessee Volunteers with the ball LSU and old miss
defense is optional on that one thirty one to twenty
eight with the fighting Lane Kiffins with the lead over LSU.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I did not know that today is the one year
anniversary of the show.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
One year anniversary, man, look at that, Look at us, bro,
one year bro, just like that.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I know it was around this time, just.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Like the week three or four football season, but I
had no idea when the actual anniversary was.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Look at us? How about us? Huh? I know That's
what I'm trying to do just now. He would have
thought not us? Who would not us?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Right we were We're not supposed to be here, not us.
So thanks a lot everybody out there that made this happen, man,
and also thanks to God for giving us the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
To and also to check with out of that.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Who would have thought that Colorado would be three and
two to start the year in the first five games,
Because I'll be honest, I didn't I didn't. And now
that we I thought that, you know, I didn't know
what we were looking at. When we saw a prime
in Deon Sanders, I said prime inn Deon Sanders, that's
the same person.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
But when we saw.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Deon Sanders walk into Colorado and Colorado didn't even have
the money to afford Deon Sanders when they signed the
deal to make him the head coach, and they're like,
we'll figure it out.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
We'll figure it out, you know.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
As somebody who has put things on credit before, We'll
figure it out. If not generally the best financial strategy, However,
Rick George and the US, I mean, Colorado seemed to
have a plan. And in front of jay Z Beyonce apparently,
I don't know who else was there, Obama.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I don't know. The list was long. I'm being facetious
about Obama. But if he was on this islne.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Of Colorado, would you have been surprised? I wouldn't then,
But they were in for a show today, VJ. As
Caleb Williams. For a while, there had just about the
same amount of touchdowns as you did in completions. Throughout
the first maybe three quarters of the game.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
It was six incompletions to six touch but Colorado came
back made it respectable towards the end forty eight to
forty one final score there, easily covering the twenty one
and a half that they were underdogs, but did not.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Colorado did not upset. That would have been their second
straight win as or as a twenty one or point
or more underdog if they had been able to pull
that one out, but they didn't. Usc major problems on defense.
To me, major problems. I took a lot from this
football game, numb more on the Colorado side. It shows
that they had a guy at the quarterback position of

(04:30):
where's number two, who I've said, outside of a arbor
is my favorite college football.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Player this year.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
You talk about a kid that's just showing guts, Sean Moxy,
being calm, not getting you know, mad, pissed off, upset,
snapping his Chintz strap in helmet because his offensive line
is atrocious. That offensive line is atrocious. Mark you called
that before the season start. You thought they were if
I could quote you, lighting the ass. They light they
ass up front and Martin said it so. But it's

(04:56):
starting to show. Gerard Bailey van BB Washington, these offensive linemen.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
These guys, and these.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Are actually redshirt seniors, grad transfers. These are guys that
have that have had.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Playing time and they have played before.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
You shouldn't be this bad when you have the ability
of your quarterback to make plays for you.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Also too.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I know Travis Hunter is not the reason why they
lost to Oregon last week, but I believe he might
have been the reason why they lost this game today.
When you have a player like Travis Hunter, that's that dominanting,
that good on the defensive side of the ball at
the corner and slot corner in safety, and Rover can
pretty much play where he wants to do what he
wants to do. He shuts one half of the field down.
You know what that does for everybody else and makes

(05:36):
their job a whole lot easier, what makes them look
a whole lot better. These dbs that are out there
right now look confused, they look lost, and receivers are
running free.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
They're gonna fix that, I believe.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
On the defensive side of the ball upfront two, they're
gonna fix that also too quick. Sybar Marshawn Lloyd, South
Carolina transfer to Matha High School DMV and the Bill
and WCAC Conference good running back they have for SC
on the flip side of the sc Martin, they got problems.
They have problems, bro, And this could really show up
against UH. And you know when you have to go
against Oregon, Washington State, Oregon State Bull last time, where

(06:09):
you just.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Going to show up against any team that can dominate
the line of scrimmage, any team anytime.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Because here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Even though Caleb Williams has six incompletions and six touchdowns
at a point throughout this game, USC's offense and it's
a it's a hallmark of Lincoln Riley's office, and it's
something that you know, I really want to develop this
advanced that at any nerd out there who's like a
big advanced statter, tweet me and let's talk about this because.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Everybody's like, you can't run the ball. Like running the ball,
you got to throw.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
It's more fishing, it's more fishing. Well, Possessing the ball
is such a major key to winning games because when
you have the ball, listen, that's a football one on one,
but the other team doesn't. And if you have the
ball and the other team doesn't, the other team literally
cannot score. Now if you turn it over, give it
back to them. This shore, anything is possible. But if

(07:00):
you have the ball, the other team can't score. I
saw USC as Arizona State the Saturday night after our
show last week.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
We go, this guy.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Scatter Bow is running up and down at USC offense,
and Marshawn Lloyd, to your point, was running up down
Arizona States. They could have handled the ball to marshall
on Lloyd twenty five times this game.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
He would have to win in twenty five yards Russia.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I think that's probably what you would have seen had
Travis Hunter been eligible. Maybe we don't see Kayler Williams
with six touchdown passes, maybe three and more Marshall Lloyd
in there, I think. But the point is USC can
play that way offensively, but defensively, if Colorado had just
a little bit more in the trenches, they would have

(07:43):
been able to run the ball on them.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Just a guy or two, not even a complete offensive line.
If they had just one lineman that they can really
get behind and say, listen, we're gonna run to your side. Mall,
your guy, everybody else just come in and clean up.
You can still gain three, four or five yards of carry.
That sets up thirty two. If you're getting five yards
on first down, three yards on second, now that sets
up third and three, third and two. They were in

(08:05):
third and long all day long and really quick to
Shader Sanders And you guys know that's my guy. But
I gotta keep it a buck across the board. When
your line's that bad, you can't compound things too by
dropping your mechanics. And today I saw too many times
where he drops and forgets his mechanics and he's trying
to go on pure talent. That's when he throws to pick.

(08:26):
The pick he throws is you can't make that. You
can't yet exactly why you're trying to lean to outside.
You're outside of your frame. Quarterback coaches and tell you
gotta stay in your frame. Your feet are gonna go.
Tell you where the ball's gonna go. But if you're
running to your right, you got your shoulders turning, you're
off your back foot. The ball went right to the
defensive back. It was nowhere near the quarner. You can't

(08:47):
make that throw. You have to throw that ball away
and live to play another down. And whenever he feels pressure,
he doesn't step up or move left right.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
It's way too much back pedaling.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
And when you're back pedaling, that tells me that's a
kid that's got a strong arm, and he feels like
I can even backpedal and still make this throw. Not
against top notch competition, No you can't. So I would
like to see Shader Sanders really clean that up as
the year goes on. What I found interesting out of
the Colorado side of this game is, I know a
lot of people probably turned it off at halftime.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
I didn't. Also a plus go. I had Colorado plus
twenty one and a half, so I was locked in.
I was watching this whole thing.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I wasn't I wasn't falling in live in love with
the money line, but I was watching this whole thing
and I got them again live at plus twenty seven
and a half.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
High at you boy, but no. So the thing that.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Was impressive to me out of Colorado, Right, you see them,
they were on track to put up another stinker. Right,
they stunk against Oregon across the board.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Now, second half, Oregon come out thirty five to six
and they only score another touchdown, Right, I think you
know as much Dan Landing was Wolfing saying we're gonna
take care of this.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
They don't change the channel.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
We're gonna be locked in, you know they I think
they kind of let up off the gap a little bit, right.
But in this one you saw guys who we have
not seen before for this Omari Miller, you heard of
him before today outside of high school football, No freshman.
Carmonie McClain. The old stories about him was how company's

(10:18):
not playing, he's not playing? Where is he at?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
You know what you saw out of this was the
third straight quarter, a third straight half of lackluster effort.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I'd say, out of Colorado. And you know what d
I said, come sit next to me, Champ. I got
dogs everywhere, I got dogs anywhere.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Who wants to play? And you saw like you get
in and I know, don't give me.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
I'm not trying to make some grand proclamation that Travis
Hunter mission this game was a good thing. I think
obviously when you have a player like that and his abilities,
like you want him on there. But do Carmonie McLain
and Omrion Miller get the same type of run if
Travis Hunter is out there? Because I think now you
you discovered something in the second half of this game.

(11:03):
That Now, if you're a starter for Colorado in the
defensive backfield, you know obviously Shiloh Sanderws was hurt today,
I imagine he'll be back there, especially when you just
look at it the way he plays the run from
the safety position.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
He'll be back in there, especially all today.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I know that he's Dion's least favorite child for his rankings,
but I imagine he saw the backfield too, and he
ain't claiming none.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Of them is his kids.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
But I'm now, if I'm the started quarterback who was
putting up bad tape in the first half, I'm looking
at Cormnu McLain like dog, let's run my spot.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
That competition in practice is going to be interesting. And
I'm with him. I'm with Dion. This is the worst
it's gonna get. Now, it's the worst it could be.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Seven to five, six and six, and again, that is
a in corad dead ball accomplishment for a team that
won one game last year. That's a huge accomplishment and
you can't take anything away from it.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I still like eight wins for them, because Utah showed
me last night what they might truly be. Honesstand they're
missing their quarterback.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
The injury reports longer than the CV received.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
It happened, and you know what them extra seeds man
goodness grace, So I brought him. He made it fired.
The other night one humidified. The receipt was three feet long,
and I just looked at the ladies. She's like, it's
just a bunch of coupons and deals. I'm like, okay, cook,
you guys how long Utah's injury report list is? Did
you watch the game last night? You watch the game
last year?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I went back and watch like they had a Britton
Brown a backup got knocked out.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
My poor boy, Nate Johnson was back there running around
for his life.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I was like they had a donut on the board
for most of the game. They couldn't move the football
and score, so they got problems without their quarterback there.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
But I still like eight for Colorado. I thought, you know,
we talked about this.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I thought Oregon and as He were gonna be the
two games that they probably wouldn't get. I would like
to see him get one of them and just add
more to the storyline, because that's what we love in
this business. But the Jimmies and Joe's are gonna stand
up at the end of the day. Deon knows he
has moves, he's got to make guys, he's got to
get in there. And like I said, and like you
just said, when he came out in the second half,
you can pretty much see that they were like, Okay,
you're out, you're out, get out.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
You can't get off coverage.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
A lot of two a lot of of shadeer sand
or scrambling and holding on to the ball is because
receivers can't get off of coverage. If you can't get
off of coverage, you get old and helping your receiver.
Your quarterbacks got to hold the football. But that changed
once my man, I'm Marion. And as soon as I
saw that name, I said, yeah, I understand his parents.
They must have been definite. I definitely had him with
B two K. Yeah, because that's the only reason why

(13:17):
his name is a Marion. There's no other reason why
the guy's name is Marion. Because be two kay. You
put the math together, it's like two freshman eighteen nineteen,
you have eighteen nineteen years ago. Yeap, that sounds about right.
One on six in part B two K killing it
every day but that's all I feel when I hear
something like that. Yeah, how old am I? Like? Like
Brenton Rice being Jerry Rice's son exact playing today?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
That didn't make me feel that old? You know what
I'm saying? That will well, because I you know, I
was Jerry. I remember Jerry.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
From The Raiders. I'm thirty four. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
It's like and obviously I know my history, but it's
just like I wasn't watching Jerry Rice like that, but like, see, yeah,
that that made me feel like like Deon Sanders being
the coach, like Ciancha doorstander.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
That made me feel old not yet. Deon Sanders to
me was an NFL Network commentary. That's how I was
introduced to Deon Sanders. Okay, you know what I'm saying, like, wow,
you know, like obviously now I know my history. Yeah,
but I never saw it. I didn't see it, love,
I wasn't watching it a lot. But I'll tell you what,
watching a kid named O Marion and then the other thing.
Other thing they got they got a few.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
I think USC's got a Kobe Bryant, and I know
Seattle has a Kobe Bryant.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, there's a few. Kobe Bryant, I'm just what I'm
not supposed to be.

We was talking to was that going to go about
how I feel old?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Right? All right?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Don't feel necessarily old because of some of the things
that we've seen and some things we've talked about. This
is something that makes me feel one hundred percent old
because I have no idea why everybody on Twitter acts
whatever you want to call it, is posting memes from
the King of Queens and Kevin James. You know, it's
just like you've seen this, this this phenomenon, right of

(16:07):
Kevin James being a meme. This is me fully admitting,
hand up, maybe I'm washed. I have no idea what
this is about. But if I didn't see this in
Bleacher Report, I would have thought this also was made up.
The University of Maryland used Kevin James meme on the
scoreboard to try to distract the opposing kicker.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
To did you see this? Actually, no, I didn't see
that yet. Take a look at this. Take a look
at this.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
I'm showing vj A the picture right now. I'll tweet
it out at Martin Wiss. But if I didn't, if
you didn't see that coming from a reputable news side,
you would think that's made up.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
It looks yeah, because it can look photoshopped right with
these apps that they have out.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Now, that's brilliant though. I love it.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
I love it, man, that's brilliant. So that's James King
of Queen's Got you're looking on Maryland football? Yeah, ty
leah tongue if I low though, give you that he's
looking good.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Let's talk about this though, real quick.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats beat Florida and it
wasn't close all game, Nope. And this is a sign
and this is an interesting I think it's a deeper
message that we're going to see now in college football,
especially when you consider the transfer portal and things of
that nature. Because Michigan State's job is now open. Right,

(17:23):
Mark Stoops has developed something at Kentucky. They're five and zero, right,
just beat Florida for the third time in a row,
mind you, VJ. This is a program in which lost
to Florida for thirty one straight times prior to this
three and oh stretch over the last three years. The fourth,
that's only the third I believe it's the third time
in a row. So now I think what we the

(17:46):
lesson to take from this. You could go to with Florida,
You could go to with Texas, who I mean obviously
that Texas number three team in the nation. But you
can go to these big brand schools, USC whatever. But
as you see this conference expansion, if you can build
a player at your location, at your smaller school, right,

(18:08):
Kentucky's at a small school historically a basketball school, is
my point. If you can build something solid there, you
got just as good as a shot as an LSU
or an Old miss or you know, one of these
particular traditional football schools. Because if you can run through
your conference and win that thing, they have to give
it to you.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
They have to respect you.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Right like Tennessee right now in a dogfight with South
Carolina fourteen to ten. Right, South Carolina's already got two losses, Kentucky,
if they keep on winning, you can see yourself in
a little Championship.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Game almost kind of like the way we were looking
at talking about Alabama last week, where if some things
happened and go right for the West, as Steve the
Seger mentioned last week, we could see Alabama right back
in the SEC championship game where we have not quite
written them all, but just don't think that they're a
championship are to me nor there has not written them off. Well,

(19:03):
you haven't written them off outright, but you talk enough
trash about Nick Saban for the last year and it
feels like you're written them off without saying I.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Picked them to make the playoff this year. So go
ahead if you want to consider that written off.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Oh I didn't know, was that one of your four teams?
We do this every week?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
No, no, no, we don't do this every week. We just
did our four teams like we did our four seas.
But then last week I was like, I picked them
to mint the playoffs this year.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
You're like, did you do that?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Okay, so and then the week before I was like,
I picked them to win the playoff this year.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
So yeah, we've done it since we did our picks.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
But you know what, real quick, now there's a ton
of things going on at the bottom of the hour
right now, a ton of college football scores. Let's get
to Steve de Sega a little bit early so that
way we could have full time for Tyler Dragon. The
NFL has got tons of stuff for him as well.
But first, Steve de Saga, what you got, my friend?

Speaker 5 (19:48):
We got a seesaw game at twenty eth ranked Old Miss.
It's number thirteen LSU in the league. Thirty five thirty four,
four and a half minutes to go in the third quarter.
LSU Tigers quarterback Jayden dan Nials had three touchdown passes
in the first half. He has one touchdown run as well.
In fact, the quarterback has ten carries ninety three yards rushing.
Jackson Dart of Old Miss three touchdown passes in the

(20:11):
first half. Each quarterback over two hundred and fifty yards
passing in the first two and a half quarters of
this game. It is not near over thirty five thirty four.
LSU leads late in the third at Old Miss, which
did not miss an extra point.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
It was a couple of.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Field goals that puts them one point behind LSU. As
for Oregon, they've actually started out well in the third
quarter at Stanford. The lead for the ninth Ranke Ducks
up to twenty one to six now early in the
third a game on FS one at number fourteen, Oklahoma
has the Sooners head of Iowa State in the second quarter,
twenty eight to twenty. Already, it's notreed aime, leading ten

(20:48):
to nothing at Duke early in the second quarter. Tennessee
at home now leads South Carolina early in the second
fourteen to ten. In a half an hour, It'll be
Alabama at Mississippi State in an hour and a half.
Number seven Washington at Arizona, and in a couple hours
the late game on FS one four No. Fresno State,
ranked twenty fifth, will be hosting winless Nevada. Earlier, Number

(21:10):
one Georgia needed a touchdown pass with three minutes left
to win at Auburn twenty seven to twenty. Tight End
Brock Powers was sensational in the second half, and he
had eight receptions for the game, one hundred and fifty
seven yards and the game winning forty yard touchdown. Number
two Michigan won forty five seven at Nebraska. Third ranked
Texas forty to fourteen over Kansas. Six rank Penn State

(21:31):
also pulled away forty one to thirteen at Northwestern. Eighth
ranked usc held on to win at Colorado forty eight
to forty one. Kentucky dominated at home against number twenty
two Florida thirty three fourteen. Next Saturday night, Kentucky at
Georgia and Missouri, ranked twenty third, is undefeated after winning
at Vanderbilt thirty eight to twenty one. Raiders quarterback Jimmy

(21:51):
Garoppolo will not play tomorrow. He's been in concussion protocol.
He was limited in practice the last two days. Las
Vegas has rookie quarterback eight And O'Connell and vet and
quarterback Brian Hoyer on the roster. The Raiders cut defensive
end Chandler Jones. He was arrested this week for violation
of a protection order for domestic violence. He had yet
to play this year. Chargers running back Austin Eckler, with

(22:12):
the bad ankle, is doubtful for Sunday against the Raiders,
as is linebacker Joey Bosa and safety Derwin James.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
So Defensive back j C.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
Jackson will be active tomorrow, and Chargers center Corey Linsley
was placed on ir today due to a medical condition
of course wide receiver Mike Williams is already out for
the season with a torn acl that. Golf's Ryder Cup
Europe leads the US ten and a half to five
and a half. Baseball at tenanting loss at home for Toronto,
they still haven't clinched a playoff spot. Tampa Bay beat
him seven to five and ten. The regular season schedule

(22:43):
ends tomorrow. The Jays again can clinch a playoff berth
with a loss by Seattle.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
That is one of the big games.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
It is underway on Fox TV, Seattle hosting the Texas
Rangers tonight. It's already Texas for nothing. In the fourth.
Texas Rangers have been slumping, but they would lynch the
division title with a win and a Houston loss. Houston's
in action at Arizona this evening that is scoreless in
the bottom of the second.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Ending back to you, thanks Steve and Martin and VJ.
Coming to your life from the tire rack dot Com Studios.
Without further ado, Let's get my guy in here. He's
at Twitter at the Tyler Dragon. Tyler Dragon, NFL reporter
for USA Today. Tyler, how the hell are you?

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Pal? Well?

Speaker 2 (23:25):
There we go. That's a great point. I didn't even
think about that.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Now I guess we have seen we have seen a
change in at Tupac story, as there's now been an
arrest and is in his murder case thirty years down
the line.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Imagine getting caught for some of you to thirty years ago.
That was, I mean, goodness, crazious. But Tyler, how the
hell are you?

Speaker 1 (23:52):
My friend?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (23:53):
I'm good. I mean, I'm always good as if I
get at Tupac intro. And it's a big week for Tupac,
I mean with them catching the guy that was in
the car during his fortunate murder. So it's a timely
intro this week for a lot of Skubax fans. Justice
has finally been served.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Justice has finally been served. We'll see how that plays
out when he gets to court and all of that.
But Tyler, I got to ask you this because we
already saw this play out already.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
This week, the Detroit.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Lions went up to Lambea and somehow sneakily have won
the last three against the Packers. I mean, up front
looked like they were just pushing the Packers offensive and
defensive lines around.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Is this division now the Lions to lose.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Which by the way, sounds absolutely crazy as somebody who
spent ten years in Detroit that now the Lions are
the prohibitive favorites in the NFC North.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
Yeah, you're right, it is crazy. The Lions haven't won
in division since nineteen ninety three, I believe, and that's
when a division was the NFC Central, So they have
never won the NFC North. So we're still long ways away,
But the Lions are off to a rousing start, and
I do believe that they're the best team in the

(25:06):
division when I look at the way they beat the Packers.
I mean pretty much dominated in the whole game. The
Packers made it respectable in the second half, but just
the way they controlled the game, they were the more
physical team and they just looked like the more athletic
team too at Green Bay. So I do give them,
you know, the best chance to win a division, especially

(25:28):
when you look at how the Chicago Bears are playing
and then even the Minnesota Vikings right now. Yes, I
do think when it's all said and down, the Lions
will win the NFC North for the first time in
franchise systems.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Tyler Dragon, VJ.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Brunner, Husky here Man I want to stick with the
Tupac theme and changes, because I think a change may
be coming tomorrow depended upon what the Miami Dolphins do
up at Orchard Park. Two three and oh teams the
number one offense across the field across the board, excuse me,
the number two defense for the Bills.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Across the board.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
One for offense for the Dolphins, defense for the Bills.
They don't meet again until week seventeen to finish up
the year down in South Beach.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
How big is this game?

Speaker 3 (26:10):
And if Miami goes up here gets this win, basically
gets a two game lead in the division and a
one game lead overall, and it had to head. Is
there finally a change coming in the AFC East or
is the Dolphins division to lose?

Speaker 7 (26:22):
From that point forward, Miami has a chance to make
a statement tomorrow. If they go up and beat the Bills,
they will show the entire division that they are forced
to be reckoned with and they're the team to beat.
It's been the Bills division the last few seasons. They
still have Stefon Diggs, they still have Josh Allen, their
defense is respectable, so I mean it's going to be tough.

(26:46):
I actually did take the Bills to win this game,
because I feel like the Bills are motivated from hearing
everything about Miami, how they're the fastest team in football,
and now it's the division is theirs. Now it's the
new sheriff and tout. So I have the Bills winning. However,
it would not surprise me one bit if the Dolphins
did go open there and win that game. The Bills

(27:09):
are a little bit dealing with injuries. Von Miller still
is in back there, so it's going to be tough.
But I mean Miami, Yes, this is a statement game
tomorrow if they go up there and win.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
And also for Buffalo Poyteroul excuse me, and Phillips out
for the Dolphins. Last time Miami's been up there, thirty
points both times they go up there. I'm looking at
thirty points again. So you're picking the Bills, am I
assuming you're looking at like thirty six, thirty three, thirty
four to thirty one. They're both scoring over thirty tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
Right, Nah, I have a little bit lower than that.
I have it twenty eight to twenty six bail. Yeah,
if it gets into a tract me and into the
thirties that's a Miami type of win. They're the team
that can get up and down the field, can score fast,
score in bunches, and you know, have those explosive plays

(28:00):
with Tyreek Hill. And now you had Jalen wadle Back healthy.
So the Bills don't want to get it a game
into their thirties. They want to slow it down a
little bit. Try to run a football. Miami's defense, Miami's
defense is susceptible to the run a little bit and
milk the clocks a little bit. So play the game
of your tempo and try to get that I'll slow

(28:21):
that offense down defensively.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Now all of that track meets being explosive plays. We're
on display last week as Sean Payton went into Miami.
You got his ass kick Tyler, his ass kicked fifty
point margin.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Look, Sean Payton is making what like.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
A fifteen million dollars eighteen millions of dollars a year
for the next five Russell Wilson's contract is what it is.
This marriage arranged marriage is not breaking up no time
soon unless I mean the pockets are deep for every
NFL owner, But I mean that's an expensive ticket to
go ahead and say, I'm gonna punt from this, What
do you see it coming out from this this weekend?
Coming up and building forward out of the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
Well, the good thing for the Broncos is they're playing
the Chicago Bears this weekend. Two zero to three teams.
You would think somebody has to win the game Sunday,
unless it ends up in the tie. But that's probably
the best opponent for the Broncos, the Bears. So if
they can't win that game, it's definitely time to push

(29:25):
the panic button. Whoever loses that game, they need to
push the panic button because their season is pretty much
over before the quarterway mark. Ah Man. I said it before,
but I'll say it again. I really do believe this
might be Russell Wilson's last season in Denver. Just the
way he's been playing last week was a little bit better.

(29:47):
But he's not Sean Payton's type of quarterback. Russell Wilson
likes to improvide, likes the stin, plays with his feet,
and he plays off script a lot. Now, when you
look at the type of quarterback that Sean Payton is,
you you have to go back to Drew Brees. Drew
Brees a machine in the pocket. He was an unscript
un timed delivered the ball with accuracy and precision. Russell

(30:10):
Wilson isn't like that. And Russell Wilson in Seattle he
was successful with you know, improvising, extending plays with his feet,
throwing those moons shots downfield every now and then when
he got outside the pocket. That that is not the
way the Denver Broncos offense is designed to run with
Sean Payton's as the head coach. So I can see

(30:32):
the Broncos moving on from Russe Wilson at the end
of the season. Now it could be considered a long shot.
But if he keeps on playing the way he is
and there's not a tremendous amount of improvement and the
locker room doesn't rally behind him either, that there's something
to be said with that too. If those two things
don't come together soon fast in the hurry, I do

(30:54):
think this is last year.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
I know this.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
If that bears, and if the Bears and the Broncos tie,
the NFL should just extend it and make them play
until somebody wins. Make them play until somebody wins.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
We might have to watch that game that game might
be popular too, just for comedic purposes, because it's gonna
be a laugh.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
For them off Tyler Dragon, NFL reporter for USA Today,
the AFC North Man. I thought I had this division
kind of figured it out. I feel like I kind
of still do. But here the Browns in the Ravens tomorrow.
This is a big game. Two two and one teams
in this division. Feels like that you can't afford to
give these games up, especially being that the Bengals haven't
seen to kind of come into form yet.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
What do you see out of this game tomorrow? I
was totally shocked.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
I text my partner, my co host Martin here last Sunday, like,
what the hell happened in Baltimore with that Colts game
and the Ravens dropping that game that way?

Speaker 1 (31:48):
And then you get the Titans.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Going to Cleveland and Cleveland completely just shuts them out.
It looks like a formidable football team. This is another
game I got my eye on tomorrow. Tyler, talk to
me about this Ravens at the Browns.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
I really do like the Browns defense. They have one
of the best defense in football, especially at the early
portion of the season, and I want to put a
whole bunch of stock and that Ravens lost against the
Coast last week. If you look at their injury report,
the Ravens are the walking wounded right now. And even
tomorrow's game, Odell Beckham juniors out for Sean Bateman, two

(32:22):
of their three best receivers. I mean, you look at
Marlin h Yeah. So you have a lot of starting players,
impact players who are on the sideline in the street closes,
are watching a game from home, and when they're on
the field, they're going to make this team a whole
lot better. And when the Ravens are healthy, I do
believe that they're the best team in the AFC North.

(32:44):
They went up there and proved it when they played
the Bengals. They beat the Bengals and that was when
with a lot of their players still sidelines. So as
long as they have Lamar Jackson, they'll have a chance.
But that defense for the Cleveland Browns, they need a
shout out. They need to dope. They deserve because they're
balling this season and that's why they're sitting here two
and one and week four.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
All right, Tyler, real quick, are we really going to
have to watch Brian Hoyer play this week. Is AOC
going to get the start, not the AOC in Congress
O'Connell preseason legend Ota Purdue.

Speaker 7 (33:17):
Oh Man, So they McDaniel's has a decision to make.
I mean, I can see O'Connell's starting, but probably Brian Hoyer,
just because he has familiarity and the system and he's
more experienced, can go up and there in the road
in Los Angeles and try to win the game. Now,

(33:38):
it's going to be a partial Raiders crowd though la
As you know, big time drows you two probably will know,
is that there's a whole lot of Raiders fans here
in Los Angeles. So, I mean, but that of offense
is going to leave a lot to be desired. I
imagine they're going to run the football and try to
establish a run with Josh Jacobs, but I don't think

(33:59):
it's going to be enough to upset the charge and
then charges. They're battling their own injuries as well on
offense and defense. Derwin James is doubtful, Joey Bosas is doubtful.
So they have some injury concerns as well. But it's
gonna be tough sledging.

Speaker 8 (34:13):
For the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
I know this.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I read this on Twitter from a football underscore film analysis.
He's tweeted and said that starting Brian Hoyer is congruent
with a guy kicking field goals down eight. But Tyler
Dragon is making much better decisions than that. In one
of those is spending every Saturday with us around this time.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Tyler, thanks for joining us.

Speaker 7 (34:33):
My friend, Thanks for having me on.

Speaker 1 (34:35):

Time of the day.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
I'm telling y'all, man, Yes.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
It's time for everyone's favorite uncle.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
And you add the cherry on the top of.

Speaker 4 (35:15):

Yes, sir, as always, man, I'm so happy to be
back welcome back.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
To Uncle BJ's corner.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
I am your uncle j Vernon Husky, the big Vanilla
funny Man. We took a little time off because I
didn't want to wear y'all out, so I had to
find some new people to give the Vanilla brother a
sister of the Ward of the Week two. So we
are back, man, y'all, come on over here and sit
on the corner. Y'all know I'm always chilling over here
on Vanilla Boulevard, and handsome driver is beautiful.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Man.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
It's only seventy degrees to day. The hotney heat went away,
so we're chilling out here, man. And I want to
tell you guys a story about two people that I'm
gonna bring in today.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Man.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
The first one because it's football season. This young lady
grabs my attention because she obviously has been displaying the
three seas it takes to be of another brother Sister
of the Week, you guys know, being cool, calm and collected.
This young lady is from my home state, in a
city called the Plains, Virginia, which is right outside of
a town called Urbana.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Y'all know Urbana.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Y'all know about little giants and Kevin O'Shea aka al
Bundy and it's four touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
For Polk High.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Yes, that Urbana baby, but y'all didn't know about that high.
She played at Christ's Church School, where she was a
letterman in varsity for basketball, lacrosse, and guess what else,
ladies and gentlemen football. The reason why I'm bringing up
this young lady at five foot six, one hundred and
forty five pounds is because last week, on September twenty third,
two thousand and twenty three, she actually got into a

(36:48):
college football game Division three for the Shannandoor Hornets, rocking
number ten, and she recorded herself a q B hurry.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
She was the first.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Division one woman to ever grace the field in college football.
I thought that was dope and I don't have no
biasness when it comes to the Vanilla Brothers Sister of
the Week, I give it to whoever is Shanna, But this.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
One not new for her man.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
She actually played strong safety in the Pro Division of
the Women's Football Alliance for the DC Divas. I have
another friend who plays for that team and don't know that,
and under five games there she had twenty one tackles,
so she definitely likes to stick her nose in there,
get it dirty a little bit, cause a little ruckus
and making some tackles. So shout out to her and
then the second guy. This one's close to my heart,

(37:33):
ladies and gentlemen. I have a baby step brother back
in Virginia for my step pops, Glenn Thomas, who had
another son after he had divorced my mother, by the
name of Gavin. My little step brother is now in
college playing football.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
I'm so proud of him.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Man. He is playing for Saint Francis pa University. They
grabbed their first win today at Stone Hill up in
northeastern Massachusetts, some of my old stomping grounds.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
There, fifteen to ten.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
He got his first start last week, five foot eleven,
three hundred and thirty five pounds junior defensive lineman. Man,
that's in our blood. We thick over here in the
Husky family, and we love to play football and go
hunt the quarterback. So far this year, he's got six
tackles and he's rocking number ninety six, which ironically belongs

(38:21):
to some of the great d tackles of all time.
Y'all remember Clytte Simmons that played for the Cardinals and
also big core Ted Kennedy, one of the.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
Best that do you has ever put out there.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
So to my baby brother Gavin Thomas and to the
young lady miss Haley van for he's the first woman
for division Iree. My baby brother played for Saint Francis
pa University got their first win today a They're one
and one in the Northeastern Conference, sitting in third place.
They got a chance to turn their season around there,

(38:52):
one to four right now, it's gonna get better for them,
young lady miss Hally, My baby brother Gavin, what up boy,
big brother vas prouty, You you too are the vanilla
brother in the Vanilla Sister of the week week week
week week week Week Week we we we we we Week.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
A scary moment in this Tennessee game as Bruce McCoy
comes across, makes a catch and I don't know what
that injury was, but it was gruesome.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
His his foot was facing the wrong one, Okay, yeah,
I don't want to see that.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Yeah, it was definitely one.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Of those like I it's skin crawl, like, oh goodness, gracious,
just hoping that he's all right.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Like the movies saw. It was no it was those
scenes that are hard to watch. Look and he's being
carted off.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
Now it's scenes and in every South Carolina players all
in the field, Tennessee players on the field six fifteen
left in the second quarter here as fans look on
and concern and uh, that was a very scary moment
in this Tennessee South Carolina game. And hopefully brew McCoy
is able to make a full recovery, but I would
be shocked to see.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
Him playing again today. When we come back, we'll have
more on the NFL, some of the games of the week.

wrong tape, wrong tape. Just forget that. Look, listen to

And again, prayers up to Bru McCoy because that is
one of the more grusive injuries that you will.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
See on a football field.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Uh it was, I mean a leg going like I'm
not trying to overstate it, like his legs switching the
wrong way, foot going the wrong direction. I don't know
what they're saying on the broadcast, whether it's his knees, ankle,
or whatever, but he will not be playing again today
and will likely need a lot of surgery to get
that thing fixed. Well, prayers up to him. Let's move
on to the NFL, though VJ. Yes, the National Football League.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
There's uh, you know, I love the scheduling for this
because almost every week.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
There's a game of the week, but.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
This game of the week is actually a big time
matchup in Division AFC East on I'll say not quite
on the line, but for Buffalo, this would be your
second AFC East loss in five weeks thanks to losing
to Zach Wilson and Xavier Gibson and the New York Jets.

(42:13):
And also you got Miami coming off a fifty point
margin of victory. Not in one game. I mean, I
would say, not in all seasons, just in one game.
Fifty points in one game, like seventy burger. Like if
I told you through.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Five weeks Miami's margin of victory was fifty points, you'd
be like, oh, you know this, They're they're.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Beating teams by you know, you know, two touchdowns here,
I feel a touchdown there, average out the ten point
it's pretty good. No, no, no, no, no, seventy seven zero. You know,
to score a gamy, you know, just to score a
gommy thing that comes out. Whenever you have a new
original score in football, it only goes up to seventy
one because they never intended that people are gonna score

(42:52):
eighty points in the game.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
You only get like what you get, like maybe.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
Sixty five offensive plays, seven possessions, seven possessions if everything
goes right, no turnover orthing like that. And of course
to have a d points ten touchdowns, it's incredible. Ten touchdowns.
It was incredible. But you know, I love the way
that they attacked it, and I attacked it the exact
same way.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
It was fun to watch.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
But I've had my eye on this Buffalo game ever
since the schedule came out. I wanted to see when
we played Buffalo. I know we're gonna own the bum
ass Jets. I know we're gonna own the cheating Patriots.
I'm not worried about them two teams. The only team
that concerns any real level minded Miami Dolphin fan like
I am, is the Buffalo games. When do we play Buffalo?
When do we play these other bumps that we're gonna scrape.

(43:34):
It's not that we're gonna beat them. I'm not worried
about that. When do we play the Buffalo Bills because
this has been their division. No argument there. They've had
the probably the best player in the division, no argument there.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
But this is a year that I.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Felt like last year, No, I think the best player
in the division is Tyrek k Oh right now. Yeah,
I've had they, They've had Josh Allena the division.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
No problem.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
Before last year, Josh Allen could have been tagged the
best player in the division.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
And Miam's got to go up there and do it.
This is it.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
You gotta go up there and do it. There's no
cold weather, this is in September game. It's not for
the division, but I think it puts a stranglehold this early. Yes,
in the division. Buffalo doesn't see another division opponent after
this until New England on the twenty second, and then
they see the Jets again on November nineteenth. So this
is a big game for the Dolphins and for Buffalo.

(44:28):
I do think it's still a bigger game for my
beloved Miami Dolphins because we haven't gone up there in
a while. It's like one to twelve in the last
thirteen trips up there. Hasn't gone well up there in
a while. Last year both times scored over thirty put
points up and had to do it in the playoff
game with a third string rookie six round draft pick quarterback.

(44:50):
But I think Miami's really prime. I see the spread
as close to two and a half. Vegas knows this
game is coming down to clutch. I disagree with mister
Tyler Dragon. I think this is a shootout. I don't
think this is in the twenties. I think it's in
the thirties. That will give also two, we'll get the
Dolphins three straight trips up there when they put up
thirty points. But I just don't think Buffalo's defense is
that stout, especially now that players out of the safety position.

(45:12):
Good luck, good luck missing defensive backs. I think that's
the one position you don't want to miss here. I
think Dolphins go up here and handle business and put
the and put the rest of the league, including the
defendive Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, on notice. I
just don't see this offense falling off their first across
the board. They're first in points, their first and yards,

(45:33):
they're first and passing their first and rushing. They're moving
the football, and I think that continues tomorrow. The only
thing that we've seen Miami struggle with really is quarterback
health right so far, that's in the in the Mike
McDaniel era of the Dolphins right now. Defensively, it's been
I think about middle of the pack, which is yes,

(45:54):
which is fine if you're gonna score with the impunity
Dolphins going like so, it's fine if your defense is
giving up three touchdowns, if you're gonna score five, that
that that's okay.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
We'll deal with it. We can eat that. But the dude, the.

Speaker 3 (46:11):
Thing that I do find interesting about this Miami team
and about this Buffalo team is that we've seen these
matchups last week and we've seen Buffalo be able to
limit Tyreek and limit some of the big plays. And
the other thing about Buffalo that I think.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
We'll see really what this should be. This front seven
is heavily invested in. This front seven is had linebackers
have all types of interceptions. But I'm talking about the
defensive line in particular, because Tua has not been hit
this year, sacked once, sacked once. We're in Week four
sacked once and and hit less than ten times. As

(46:49):
far as quarterback, I think, right, so let's please think
about that through four weeks of contests, right, Tua has
been hit six total times.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
That's the key to Miami's offense. Yeah, no, you're exactly right.
And when you watch this offense too, they haven't even
hit their stride. And if said this, they're telling us
the touchdown pass to Tarik to start the game. Last week,
Tarik runs the wrong route. They come out during the
week and said, yeah, that was my fault, man, But
this is just how good Tua is holding the ball,
looking off received, looking off defensive bats, looking off safeties.

(47:22):
I actually ran the wrong route. They ran the wrong route,
and he's still caught the ball out ran. They angle
and jumped into the crowd, and jumped into the bleachers,
into the VIP seats and was partying with the crowd.
I'm telling you, guys, this offense it's going to get
scarier because they're just getting a hold of what Mike
McDaniel wants. The health of Toua is the big elephant

(47:43):
in the room.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
We all know that.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
But I think they took the right precautions by having
them to take his jiu jitsu to learn how to fall.
And you tell the offensive line, look, we can't get
this guy hurt. You have to do everything possible. And
I'll take a minute to salute the offensive line because
they haven't gotten a proper credit and nobody's banged on
them more than me. No one talk trash about the
Dolphins offensive line more than I have over the last decade.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
This is nothing new to me.

Speaker 3 (48:05):
Every year I'm just like, well, tell me what the
line's gonna be, and I'll tell you what Dolphins are
gonna be. Just get tell me what dolphinsive line is
gonna be. This line's playing great. They found a combination.
They got a new offensive line coach in there, they
got some new coaches in there, new scheme to work
with these guys, the running, the running game scheme that
Mike McDaniel has put in place. It's zone blocking. It's
not hard, blockdown left, blockdown right, running back, get ball, seahole,

(48:29):
make one cut go. That's the running game. And then
now devon a chain, you add this guy to the mix.
The top five fastest top speed runners ball carries this
year in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (48:40):
Guess what team.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
All five played for? The Miami Dolphins. Where there's twenty
three miles an hour, twenty two miles an hour, twenty one.
You know these advanced STA type thing. Something popped up
the other day and I.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Looked at it. Wow, the top five fastest.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
It's a track meet up there on that turf man
with no bad weather, no cold weather. I wouldn't be surprised, Martin. Seriously,
if Miami went up here in one by ten, it
wouldn't surprise me.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
This offense does look that good. And you talk about
that D line Buffalo that Buffalo has. It is good.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
But they're not all there. They're not all healthy. Von
Miller still not there, Poyer, they're all pro safeties out tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (49:12):
That's a missing piece. And we actually think that's.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
Gonna be a plus for the Buffalo Bills. Why the
backup runs better? Now, I can't now, I'm gonna now
I'm plinking on his name.

Speaker 2 (49:20):
But the guy who's gonna be starting not Damar Hamlin,
but the guy's inn Mar Hamlin's active.

Speaker 3 (49:25):
Yeah, he's at the first off thing I had. But
the backup for the Buffalo, he's got more speed than Ployer. Okay,
well he's gonna I hope you need he's gonna need
it tomorrow because and also Waddle's back to wha don't
missed the concussion. We got get it. But hey, that's
a week is why he got the rest. That's a
week he didn't have to play. Those are fresh legs.
It's only week four. Those are fresh legs. That's gonna
be out there. I just think I'm serious, man, I'm
not being a fan here. We did the show live

(49:46):
when they went up to Buffalo on that Saturday night.
Enough tail game, Taylor Rap, oh, Taylor Rap. Okay, yeah,
Taylor Rap does have to speed. Yeah, Taylor Rap does
got some jets fashion employer. But we did the show
when they were up there and I picked Buffalo live
on air, and everybody it was in shockus like I
gotta get I gotta keep it real. I've never seen
them go up there in cold weather and win maybe
once or twice in my entire life being a Dolphin fan.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
This isn't cold weather.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
They expect to be a cloud, a clear sky, beautiful
day up there tomorrow and with no weather, no and no,
you know, inclement conditions.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
I think this offense man just keeps on humming.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
I like, I like forty one to thirty four, thirty
one thirty four somewhere I think miam is gonna go
put up thirty plus tomorrow. It's not gonna be. It's
not gonna that's Part's not a question to me. Yeah, No,
I think we're looking at a game in the twenties.
I'm a Tyler on this one, you know's and it's
maybe it's just the old school gambler in me and
that Yo.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
This team just won by fifty. They're gonna lose next week.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Like you know, everybody's gonna be rush rushing to bet Miami,
rushing to pick Miami. And it's just the way that
the league works. It's up down theory, you know what
I'm saying in terms of that regard. And I'm gonna
I'm all over the Broncos against the Bears too, you know,
just real quick, let's updates of college football. As Duke
misses a field goal ten nothing, you know, they're Dame still.

Speaker 1 (51:01):
Duke's been in the red zone but not able to capitalize.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
LSU forty eight old miss forty they LSU just scored
a touchdown there that just was reviewed and stood. And
Spendler Ratler just threw a pick six to Tennessee to
take a twenty four to ten lead.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Over South Carolina going into the half and last.

Speaker 3 (51:18):
Ye old miss fans throwing bottles and cans and stuff
onto the field right now too, with eight thirty four
left in the game. Why like, why it's only eight
point game, eight thirty four left? Why are you guys
throwing stuff onto the field? And this duke game too?
And that his second miss field goal. If I'm not mistaken,
you already missed another one, missed the second one there,
So they're pretty much letting Door to Dame have this one.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
There's a blue moon under the full moon down there, and.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Hotty Toddy Lsu Steve just popped in my ear and
said the reason why is because they disagree with the
touchdown call. Apparently it was a questionable outcome and then
the referees ended up giving it a touchdown to Lsu.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
So that's you know, I guess a lot of stuff on.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
The quickest way to express your displeasure is by throwing things.
This country needs a lesson in the coorm Steve. We
got to bring back shame. We gotta bring back shame. Yeah, seriously,
someth that happened.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
You know, everybody was locked in the house for two
three years and after you, after you animals got out,
I mean, after you animals got out of you start
throwing things that people like, like concerts and concerts people
can't go all of a sudden, they don't play the
song you like. They're throwing stuff all stuff at the artists.
They're throwing stuff at football games. You know what you
people go back inside if that's how you want to act.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Yeah, love behavior exactly.

Speaker 1 (52:31):
Yeah. The fighting is what's really getting me at football games.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
This is and there's always been and maybe we just
see it more Steve now because everybody's got a phone
and everybody's got a camera. But it just feels like
now with phones and cameras, people want to do more
so they can get you know, recognition. I guess you
could call it. That is a really bad drug on
social media. But these fights and crowds at football games
where people are getting in the fights that have nothing

(52:54):
to do with the initial argument that breaks out, but
you're in a crowded people next thing, you know, everybody
is swinging and stuff.

Speaker 6 (53:01):
That at rams games multiple times.

Speaker 1 (53:02):
That's crazy. Here's the thing about the fighting.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
It'd be one thing if you saw the videos and
ten out of ten times it was, you know, a
Raiders jersey and a forty.

Speaker 1 (53:13):
Nine Ers jersey. Oh yeah, yeah, no, no, no, yeah, no, no,
we're a cheer for the same thing. You're supposed to
be on the same side here.

Speaker 3 (53:18):
Most of the time you'll see two jerks, somebody wearing
a Joe Montana and the other guy wearing a Nick Posa.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
That'll be the difference.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
It'll be a generation gap in terms of who's fighting.
Or you'll see like a Damn Fouts and a Justin
Herbert jersey, but they're still going at it.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
But y'all, Sposta, be on the same side. Where's the
conflict resolution?

Speaker 3 (53:38):
That's called that's called too much alcohol, That's what that's called.
What's also really alarming is you watch these fights and
you see security show up and they stand and watch.
They like my idea, My thought is, okay, we're the police,
like not security, because I get it, Like, listen for
twenty one to fifty an hour. I don't know if
I'm getting in the middle a big jojo and joker. Okay,

(53:59):
I don't know if I'm getting in the middle between Hey,
Susan raheem, I might let them scrap too, but I know,
I go to pro sport events.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
There's police officers all over the place.

Speaker 3 (54:08):
No one's gonna come in there and show there, to
show up with your uniform, I'm pretty.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
Sure about the cops. The cops.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
Cops he about you. The cops are here. No, No,
here's you know VJ. The security guard. Yep, we're gonna
keep scrapping.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
I mean, I.

Speaker 3 (54:20):
Feel like a security guard at a football game is
almost a kin to like a flight attendant.

Speaker 5 (54:25):
Like I thought you're gonna say, wrestling Referee's just.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
The rains in which that you expect them to really
get involved should vary.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
You know what I'm saying. It's like, do you expect
the flight You expect.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
The flight attendant to bring you some coke or a
sprite if you want to drink. But do you expect
the flight attendant to like come to your seat and
walk you to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
No? No, no, you know it's out of the realm
of what they're supposed to do. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Do you expect the flight attendant to let you know, hey,
you know what, the bathroom's open?

Speaker 1 (54:54):
No, that's your job.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
You got to look up and see the bathrooms open
and then wait in line. Maybe you know, do they
have to talk when you're back there if they're feeling
that way, right? You know, that's kind of how I'm
moving through security at a sporting event. Like, yes, I
expect you to tell me where section one twelve is.

Speaker 1 (55:09):
That's about it.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
But like, and I expect that if I text, hey
see something, say something?

Speaker 1 (55:15):
I text four, what's seven one?

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Four?

Speaker 1 (55:16):
Be like yo, the big vanilla guy next to me
is act that it's sufferable.

Speaker 3 (55:20):
Hey, right, then I would expect security to be there
with that about a fifteen minute radius to come here
and say, hey, you big.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
Fellow, relax a little bit.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
But you know, if me and you were going at
it and it's Hackler hearns in the tenth round, I
don't necessarily have the biggest problem with my man making
twenty five dollars an hour.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
Letting us figure it out and this separat and every
that's what.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
I'm gonna do. I'm gonna let y'all figure it out.
The one time I saw police interviewing at an SE game,
I was at SE Colorado game maybe three or four
years ago before COVID, and some students were getting unruly
with just regular fans that were there. And trust me,
when that cop came down them stairs, it changed the
whole mood within a group of about twenty people. And
he was by himself. He ain't had nobody with him.

(56:02):
Homie just came down to stay. He was a big
cop and he just like, hey, everybody, you guys want
to get it.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
You guys want to leave.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
And everybody's look, no, no, We're cool, dude, And I'm
my smart ass. I'm like, Nah, you weren't cool five
minutes ago. Now that Popo was here, Now you cool? Yeah, whatever,
But that's why I watch it. Home Coming up.

Speaker 2 (56:19):

the NFL to two of the worst teams in the NFL.

double all the cash back you've earned.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
That's right, everything you've earned doubled.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
Seriously see all see the terms and check it out
for yourself at Discover dot com. Slast match well, last week, VJA,
we had a loser leaves town match between the Chargers
and the Vikings. The Vikings lost after Kirk Cousins said,
I don't know what the play is When the rest
of America is yelling spike the ball, the ball, Spike
the ball, kirk Cousins said, I didn't know what to do.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
You know, if you had just you know, that's why
they need to pipe me into the stadium. Then I
would nobody would ever make a bad coaching decision if
that was the case. But right now, if that was loser,
Lee's home. This one is loser leaves the planet as
the Bears owing four, the Broncos owing for both of them,
and I mean Bears in a rookie, not rookie quarterback,
but for rookie Q deal with Justin Fields and Matt

(58:02):
Eberflus in his career three wins, three wins, and Sean
Payton owing three so far, I mean ow own three
to so far to start his career, or start his
career as a Denver Bronco. But again a fifty point
margin in the last game he coached.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Yeah, we already know how I feel about Seam Payne,
so I'm going with the Bears on this. I think
the Bears gonna win this game. I think Denver is
really that bad. They have the leads worst defense, and
I know that might come from that one game, but
they quit on him last week. And this is something
I don't think got talked about enough this week. You
watch sports long enough, as we all have that do
this in this business. You can tell when guys quit.

(58:38):
Now it's shameful because you're pro athlete. You should never quit.
In my opinion, athlete period, you should never quit. You
you play until the game is over. You play into
the fat ladies scenes, you play unto zero zero zero,
whatever cliche you want to use. You play until that
moment arrives. You don't quit and give up, because I

(58:58):
would be real. The last two touchdowns that Miami did score,
Just watch guys. Guys are just they're halfass in it.
They're not really trying to wrap up. They're not trying
to get there and make a play. They quit on
their head.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
Coach.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
When you have quit on your head, coach, season Old Burd.
We're talking about the Cards being the worst team, or
the Texas being the worst team, or the Raiders might
be in the worst team, or even the Bears. The
worst team in football is the Broncos. They have the
worst scenario right now. They're not gonna beat the Chargers,
They're not gonna be better than them. They're gonna get

(59:33):
dog walked by the Chiefs when they finally see the Chiefs.
They have a quarterback that's done, they have a coach
that I think is severely overrated, and they just have
a bad situation. Right now, man, I'll take the Bears
them all because I just think at least the Bears
have the best player in the game, which I think
is justin Fields.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
He's probably the best player in the.

Speaker 3 (59:51):
Game tomorrow, and I think he'll make enough places hopefully,
so I don't look stupid on Monday. But give me
the Bears thing, Martin. The Broncos are done. We're talking
about all these other teams. Caleb Williams dog Caleb might
end up in mouth High next year. That's how bad
this can go on? How fast?

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
And girls is gonna age like milk? You you you.

Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
Said something yourself about the backup there then, dever, that's
making a certain amount of money Jared Stidham five exactly
five million over five million, which means eventually on the
contract over the next two years, which means eventually you're
probably going to him soon.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Well, it's just you don't pay a backup quarterback that
much money unless you plan on playing, on seeing them play, yep,
or at least you're aokay with seeing them play like
you like the Raiders, for example, Brian Horry ain't making that, no,
you know what I'm saying, Like Brian, there are like
Teddy Bridgewaters up there. But there's some guys that, wow,

(01:00:47):
you're up there in terms of their set their backup
quarterback salaries. But but Jared Stidham is one guy we
saw play to end last season, the guy we saw actively,
you know, essentially get active throughout the season last year.

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
But the Fighting War Eagles, that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Game was twenty one to ten when Courtland Sutton and
you know what, shout out to Devon Holland because that
dude's a star. But Courtland Sutton got the ball punched
out twice by Javon Holland and it rolled out of control.
I'm not about to sit up here and say that
the Denver Broncos didn't quit, because I don't know how
you give up seventy points and don't quit. Like, I
don't know if like that's that's that's East Carolina versus

(01:01:24):
Alabama type stuff, right, that's you know, that's that's a
college score.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
That's a college score.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
That's directional school versus powerhouse in terms of that type
of score. But I just first of all, you keep
saying Sean Payton's overrated. I would just like to know
about what metric it is, whether it's regular season wins. No,
we know we've been whether it's regular season wins, whether
it's regular season wins where he's top ten, playoff wins
where he's top ten career length, which he's in the
top fifteen. So I don't know what the overrating would

(01:01:50):
be there. Maybe he should have stayed retired. Now that's
so that's a different conversation in general. But when Sean
Payton is done, he will be walking into Canton.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
But that's neither for here now.

Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Because at the end of your first year, Discover credit
cards automatically double all the cash back you've earned. That's right,
everything you've earned doubled. Seriously see terms and check it
out for yourself at discover dot com.

Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
Slast match, let's take a look into Steve de Sager.
Steve is LSU and Old Miss playing basketball and football.
Right now, I'm trying to figure that out.

Speaker 6 (01:02:17):
One out Old Miss basketball forty seven points.

Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
I'm not so sure about that. It's LSU.

Speaker 5 (01:02:25):
LSU leading forty nine, forty seven at Mississippi. Each team
ranked in the top twenty this week. We have about
two forty five left in the game. LSU with the
ball and the lead, but they're just punting it away.
Needless to say, from the start, it's been an offensive
juggernaut of a game. Jayden Daniels up to four touchdown
passes and a touchdown run for LSU. In fact, the

(01:02:47):
quarterback on the ground has fourteen carries ninety seven yards.
Jackson Dard had three touchdown passes first half for Old Miss.
He has a touchdown run tonight as well. Ninth ranked
Oregon was trailing three nothing Stanford after the first quarter.
It's now Oregon forty two to six in the lead
with about four minutes to go. Nothing but points at
Oklahoma on FS one. They just started the third quarter.

(01:03:09):
Its Sooner's forty six to twenty over Iowa State halftime.
Notre Dame leads at Duke in a Top twenty matchup
ten to nothing halftime at Tennessee Vols twenty four to
ten over South Carolina, and Alabama scoreless in the first
quarter at Mississippi State. Coming up in a half an hour.
Number seven Washington at Arizona and the late game in

(01:03:30):
an hour on FS one. Undefeated, and number twenty five
Fresno State is hosting Nevada by the Way Air Force
in the Mountain West trying to go to five and
zero leads at the half against San Diego State twenty
one to ten. Iowa was playing an Iowa type of game.
They were up ten to nine. They've just given up
a touchdown on a fumble return. So Michigan State now
leads at Iowa sixteen to ten early in the third quarter.

(01:03:53):
And in a battle of one in three teams at
Virginia Tech, Hokies have just scored extra pointal make at
twenty one to seven over pit in the final seconds
of the second quarter. Number one Georgia needed a touchdown
pass to win at Auburn that TV with about three
minutes left, twenty seven to twenty. Georgia the final, even
though Auburn did have over two hundred yards rushing. Number
two Michigan a forty five seven winner at Nebraska. Nebraska

(01:04:16):
had a late seventy four yard touchdown run, but before that,
twenty carries just thirty two yards rushing as a team
at home. Number three Texas was facing Kansas Longhorns. Late
third quarter led only twenty to fourteen forty to fourteen
the final. Six rank Penn State was tied at Northwestern
ten ten in the third quarter penn State forty one
to thirteen. That score and number eight USC held on

(01:04:39):
to win at Colorado forty eight to forty one. Caleb
Williams six touchdown passes Kentucky and Missouri with victories. Raiders
quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not play tomorrow. He's been in
concussion protocol. Giants running back Saquon Barkley doubtful for Monday
night against Seattle.

Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
By the way on Fox TV. Sunday in the.

Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
NFL, New England at Dallas. For most of the country
twenty five pm Eastern time, the West Coast gets San
Francisco at Arizona tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (01:05:04):
At Golf's Ryder Cup.

Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
Europe leads the US ten and a half to five
and a half, and it's the final week end of
the regular season. In Major League Baseball, Toronto lost in
ten innings at home, seven to five to Tampa Bay.
The Jays again can clinch a playoff berth with a
loss by Seattle, and the Mariners are getting shut out.
This is on Fox TV tonight. Rangers five nothing leaders
at Seattle in the top of the seventh. Texas would

(01:05:27):
clinch the division with a win and a Houston loss. Tonight,
Houston's up one nothing at Arizona in the bottom of
the fifth. The Reds are losing eleven to five at
Saint Louis in the bottom of the sixth. Also, the
Cubs blew an early six to nothing lead, but they're
back in the league. Cubs ten to six leaders at
Milwaukee in the top of the seventh. And finally for
the Marlins, it's win and you're in. Tonight Marlins are

(01:05:50):
winning six to three at Pittsburgh in the bottom of
the eighth inning. Thursday nights Marlins at Mets game was
suspended by rain in the top of the ninth. Maybe
they won't have to go to New York and make them.
We're finish up that game on Monday. We do know
tomorrow all the MLB games will start at three pm
Eastern Time to finish the slate. The postseason begins on Tuesday.

(01:06:11):
That includes Tuesday home games for Milwaukee and Philadelphia in
the National League.

Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
Back to you, thanks Steve, and without further Ado, let's
get my guy in here. DEMARJ Morris Martin VICHA coming
to your Life from the Tireck dot Com studios. DEMARJ
Morris Coming to you from mlbbro dot com, where he
is a content reporter.

Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
Demarjay, how the hell are.

Speaker 8 (01:06:31):
You today, my guys, I'm doing great. How you're doing today?

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
I'm doing well and I know well VJA asking you
about the Rangers in just a minute. And I know
the postseason is oppon this, but tomorrow, Jay, I have
to take this second right now. At the top of
this segment here, Miguel Cabrera played his last game as
a Detroit Tiger, and like the celebration was incredible profescially
for a team that had is I mean, they're not
doing anything in the postseason, didn't qualify, won't qualify, but

(01:06:58):
I had the best finished since two thousand and sixteen.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Miguel Cabrera multiple.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
Doubles in his last homestand and just take a second
to talk about who I have is the greatest right
handed hitter of my lifetime, my lifetime.

Speaker 8 (01:07:10):
By this is great to see him go out with
a bang, like you said, the multiple double hits and
just had a great career, one of the greatest hitters
of all time. It's good to see the love that
he got throughout the league. I love the creaks that
he got. They hooked him up with some dope creaks.
I believe they were made out of baseball some different
moments of his career. Wow, that was super dope. Way

(01:07:32):
better than that bottle of wine. I forgot who gave
him that, but.

Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Like somebody stopped on the way up, come all man.

Speaker 8 (01:07:41):
But yeah, I definitely got to show love to Mickey Man.
Just like I said, one of the greatest of all time.
He's definitely gonna be missed. Look, it was a pleasure.
It was absolute pleasure to watch him, and we're definitely
gonna miss him for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
I'm sorry to throw this curveball at you de Marsja,
because mart just knew I was gonna ask about my raisers.
But I don't have to weep five nothing right now
in the top the sixth seventh looks like we're gonna
go ahead and finish this bad thing, this bad boy
off right here. So I want to swing to your
squad man, because there's been some stories coming.

Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Out about what might happen with Mike Trout.

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
We have no idea, or we might have an idea
what o'shawn he's gonna do. But something that I saw
you and I talked about earlier this week with the
Colorado Rockies losing their one hundredth game this year, your
beloved Anaheim Angels are the only team left in the
history of Major League Baseball that has never lost one

(01:08:30):
hundred games and sixty five years that have franchised with
only one World Series. Just put a bowl on the season. Man,
where do you see this thing going with Trout? Now?
There's this idea that he wants to take the off
season and have a healthy all season, get his mind together.
Sounds like he might have played this last one, his
last bat in the Agels uniform.

Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
Man, it's all to me.

Speaker 8 (01:08:50):
So first of all, we'll see freaking do about the
one hundred dollars. I mean, that's how you know it's bad.
If that's what we're looking at it, that's what we
got to be proud of, and if that's what we're excited.
But that's how you know it's bad. It's a cool stat,
don't get me wrong. It's a cool stat. But I
don't know, but I don't like how you do it. It.
Just though with only one World Series, it sounds like
you were taking a shot at my team. I feel

(01:09:12):
like you should have let Martin answer that question because
you're in no position to take a shot at my
headlow sir, because you guys have only made it what
eight times and sixty three seasons with no rings.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
At least we got one.

Speaker 7 (01:09:23):
At least we got one.

Speaker 8 (01:09:24):
So look, I know I said earlier we should just
keep them because we've had them this long, and we
should have. You know, we're going to trade on. We
should have did it in a couple of years back,
but I think it's time to reset. Well, I mean, honestly,
I really don't think it matters.

Speaker 4 (01:09:40):
I feel like until.

Speaker 8 (01:09:41):
Ardie Moreno sells the team, this is just who we're
going to be. I honestly believe that. So it doesn't
matter if we bring Trout back on tiny back until
we get changes in the front office and ownership excuse me, ownership,
then it's just going to be the same thing. And
it's sad to say, but I see that Angels being
being one of the bottom teams for probably the next
ten years or like I said, however, long already owns
the team. So but I mean, hey, if you want

(01:10:01):
to go and look, you know, for the other places
to play. He deserves it, you know, he deserves a
chance to compete. I would love to see him in
the postseason. And we already know Tiny's out of there.
It's just a matter of where he's going to go.
But yeah, man, it's sad to be an Angels fan
right now.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
You know, demarj at least you have all the things
that you got back in that old Tiny trade. Oh wait,
they didn't trade him at the deadline. They held on
to him. Uh but you know, uh, Right now, the
Atlanta Braves Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuna both setting records,
Strider with twohundred seventy seven strikeouts, Acuna with seventy three
stolen bases modern day Braves records. I should say, is

(01:10:39):
this the team to be right now as the playoffs
are upon us?

Speaker 8 (01:10:43):
Definitely? Man, with that offense, they gotta be. We haven't
seen anything like this.

Speaker 7 (01:10:48):
This is crazy.

Speaker 8 (01:10:49):
I think they're like number six or fifth on like
most home runs in a season. I think for a
team I forgot exactly where they were, but I think
they're like number fifth. They got a chance to break
the record, but yeah, they got it be and I
said it a couple of months back. I don't know
if you guys remember but we were talking about something
and I randomly threw it out there. I was sinking, Hey,
Spencer Striter the best strikeout pitcher in the league, and
I think he is. That dude's legit. And it's only

(01:11:11):
a second year in the league. Bro scary, And then
they got all their players locked up for the next
couple of years, all under contract until like twenty twenty
seven and something crazy. So the Braids are going to
be around for a minute. They're definitely going to be
a team and a force to be regularly for the
next couple of years. This lineup is scary, and they
got decent They got good enough pitching, and I'm sure
they're going to improve that as well in the next

(01:11:31):
coming season. So yeah, definitely got to watch out for
the Braves.

Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
Man the Marjimoores mlbbro dot Com content reporter, good friend
of myself, Martin and VJ.

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
Martin VJ LOFs Fox Sports Radio. Demarj.

Speaker 3 (01:11:44):
How serious should we be taking the Baltimore Orioles going
into this postseason and why.

Speaker 8 (01:11:51):
The Orioles are legit? I like their offense. I think
I mentioned it before. The only thing that really concerns
me is the starting pitching, and I know they've been
good in the regular season. I know that, but just
in being young and haven't been in that moment, haven't
played meaningful games, you know, they haven't felt that pressure yet, right.
I feel like if they were to get bounced out
or if they didn't, you know, make a serious run,
that would probably be the reason why. But as far

(01:12:13):
as the bats, I love the bats. I love the
talent of the starting rotation. Not to say that they're
not good enough. Obviously they wouldn't be in the position
they are right now, but I feel like that would
be the only reason why they don't make a serious run.
It would be because of the pitching. But I love
the bats. Another team like the Cincinnati Reds, great young team,
great farm system, another team that's going to be a
force to be reckoned with for the next couple of years,

(01:12:33):
and definitely a team that everybody has to watch out
for in the American League.

Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
It's about to say you don't have any concern about
Bautiza going to Tommy Johnny's obviously will be unavailable for
this postseason.

Speaker 8 (01:12:44):
No, No, I think Okay, I believe Jack Clarrity he'll
be I'm pretty sure they'll bring him back into the
rotation come playoff time. That'll help a little bit. I
thought that move would have been more beneficial to them.
It didn't really pay dividends like I thought it would.
But they should be fine.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
All right, And let's wrap this up with a team
that won't be in the playoffs. Carlos Rondon, you know
he offered an apologies to the pitching coach on Saturday
after he turned his back and a mound visit ugly
things going on in New York right now, both with
the New York Jets and the New York Yankees. New
York Yankees. The focus of this question where do they

(01:13:20):
go from here? Is this tik tik tik tik bloom
blowing the whole thing up.

Speaker 8 (01:13:25):
Yeah, I said it about a month ago. Catch me,
you gotta go, Boom, you gotta go. You know, appreciate it.
Thank you had a good run. You have some good wins.
But like I said, sports is of what have you
done for me? Lady? Type of league and Yankee fans.
I know the Yankee fans are not happy. They're not
satisfied with this. His championships are nothing with the Yankees.
And although you did have a nice little run. You
haven't done nothing in the last couple of years. And

(01:13:47):
with Rodon, I don't look too much into that. I'm
pretty sure a lot of it is just him being
frustrated with himself not being able to get healthy and
get back to where he wanted to be with that
back injury. So I feel like that's mainly what it was. Yeah,
he could have reacted better, but in sports are an
emotional game, and sports are emotional, so I don't look
too much into that. But they definitely got to make
some changes though, because this is not what This is

(01:14:09):
not what we used to seeing from the New York
Yankees at all, and this is not their standards and
we all know that, so they definitely need to make
some serious changes.

Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
Well, we don't have any changes to make with you.
DeMar Jay mooris MLB Bro content reporter. Thank you for
joining the show. As always, appreciciate you and your insight,
my friend.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Thanks a lot, God bless bro.

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
All right, this old Miss LSU game, Old Miss scored
a touchdown, went for two.

Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:14:33):
I was a fifty five to forty nine game. With
twelve seconds left, LSU with the ball. Jaden Daniels threatening
as he goes for he's scrambled out, had a horse
collar penalty by the Old Miss defense. Right now, we're
looking at three and one LSU against three on one
Old Miss, both teams ranked in the top twenty five
twelve seconds left Ole Miss with a.

Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
Six point lead.

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
There's seasons on the line LSU. Right here, Ole Miss
has scored fifteen unanswered like this game with this game
should have been over. LSU should have salt this thing away.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
We're gonna at first and ten from the sixteen yard line.
Jayden Daniels is about to receive the snap here and
we'll see what happens. But I'll tell you this is
LSU's been playing on borrow time regardless. That's a false
start on the LSU left tackle. Who wants to win
this game? I'm not sure, But when we come back,
we'll have the conclusion of it. Martin and VJ Fox

two cents. I'm at Martin Wis's VJ the Big Vanilla Funny.

Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Here's a tweet.

Speaker 3 (01:15:49):
Did you just say that Justin Fields has been better
than Russell this year? Wasn't sure if that was you
or your co host.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
You do know that Russell's in the top ten at QBR, right,
one of you two said Justin Fields is the best
player on the field. Such a trash comment. First of all,
QBR is made up and I don't believe in it.
Second of all, Russell Wilson has been balling this season
through three games, and I know, look, the wins haven't
been there, but he has not been a big time

(01:16:15):
the problem.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
And finally, that was not me. That was the big
Vanilla funny over there. Hell yeah it was me and
I said it with my chest.

Speaker 3 (01:16:21):
And first of all, you need listening comprehension skills because
I didn't say he was the best player. He'd been
playing better than Russell Wilson. All I said tomorrow, I
believe he will be the best player on the field.
I didn't say he's been playing better than Russ. You
need to listen better. Sorry, buddy, but we appreciate the comment.
We appreciate you listening, but when you're wrong, I gotta
let you know you're wrong. I can't let you get
away with being wrong. That's not what I said. Russell

(01:16:42):
Wilson has been playing okay.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
I don't know if he's been balling like you guys
have been saying. Things have been playing okay, Thing has
been playing okay, Okay, that's fine. You're saying whop And
I think just okay. But I think tomorrow Justin Field
will be the best player on the field.

Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
And with that, let's go on to the atomic dog.

Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
They may be me, they may be ugly, but it's
time to open the case because these dogs are gonna
keep barking if they don't.

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Get fat and they're hungry. It's time for the atomic dogs.

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
So the whole point of this is supposed to pick
underdogs that we think have a great shot at winning
out right, Like, for example, Ole Miss was a two
and a half point dog go ahead and beat LSU
fifty five to forty nine. Jay Daniel couldn't figure it
out on the last play of the game. There after,
two not one, not three, but two false starts that

(01:17:46):
equates the defensive stopping today's sec I guess, but without
further ado, VJ.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
Who is your first atomic dog? My first atomic dogs.
I'm gonna stick close to the heart man. They say,
charity starts at the home, and you get paid. Pay
yourself first, for you pay your bills. That's how you
become rich down the line after you start investing some money.
So I'm gonna invest a little money in my Mighty
Miami Dolphins tomorrow at the Buffalo Bills plus two and
a half. I think they're gonna go win this game,
even though they're one in twelve in their last week

(01:18:14):
four games straight up.

Speaker 1 (01:18:16):
I think that trend's gotta break at some point. I
think it does tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
They're nine and three against the spread in their last
twelve game.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Give me the Mighty.

Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
Miami Dolphins to go up to the Orchard Park as the
underdog and get that dubbed tomorrow my first one.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
And let me just clarify this in preface. Shit, it
gives me no pleasure in saying this. It's not something
I'm gonna be happy about. But you know what, I
don't bet on what makes me happy. I bet on
what I think is gonna happen. And I think the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers I'm going to beat the New Orleans Saints,
all right.

Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
Dennis Allen is four and ten against the spread as
a favorite.

Speaker 1 (01:18:51):
Jameis Winston. You know what his.

Speaker 3 (01:18:53):
Grades are against the favorite as a favorite against the spread?

Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
Thirty one percent.

Speaker 3 (01:18:57):
If you got a thirty one percent of the test,
your teaching will pull you to the side.

Speaker 1 (01:19:01):
It says everything going on okay at home?

Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
All right, three eleven and one as a favorite of
three and more, give me Baker Mayfield. Oh my goodness,
it hurts my soul to say it out loud. Give
me Baker Mayfield the Buccaneers. So win this one out right.
I actually have that one too, So we agree on
that one. My second one, man is I was impressed
by this team.

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
I think Tyler Dragon tried to bring my high down
a little bit by talking about the Ravens injuries. I
still just think when you have the best player on
the field and some of the other better players on
the field at home, you don't let this game slip away.
You put this game away. I like what the Colts
to have Tomorrow's just a one point spread for them.
Being the underdog at home against a ram A team
that just didn't look like they were in sync against

(01:19:40):
a Bengals defense.

Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
That's okay. I don't think it's great. I think it's
okay to good.

Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
But now they got to go on the road after
beating excuse me, go on the road again, after having
to go to Cincinnati Thursday night. So now we're gonna
actually get the coat excuse me, Monday night, they gotta
go to in and MLS. Give me the coats with
the spread right here, coming off of a win last
weekend Baltimore, I.

Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
Think they come home and I think they grab another one.

Speaker 3 (01:20:01):
Give me the coach as my second underdog right here
for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
I'm gonna go ahead and take the Baltimore Ravens as
a divisional dog. I get there on the road and
I get his laying a little bit less than a
field goal.

Speaker 1 (01:20:14):
Deshaun Watson questionable.

Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
What's not questionable is this the best game that Shaun
Watson played as a Brown was last week the Tennessee
Titans defense completely laid an egg. I don't think the
Baltimore Ravens defense does the same. Even though, like VJ
said earlier, that injury report long in the CVS receipt.
I'm betting on Lamar Jackson. Give me that Baltimore Ravens
went out right.

Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
My last one. I'll take man, I'll make it quick.
I'm going with the Chicago Bears tomorrow. I'm sticking with
Justin Phils. I've been with Justin Phils. I'm not with
the Broncos. I'm not with Russ, I'm not with Sean Payton.
They're gonna start all four and all the questions are
gonna start now that maybe this is the worst coaching
job that's ever been done in football history. Missed the
paying since you want to run your mouth when you

(01:20:55):
first got there and started writing checks that your ass
hasn't been able to catch lately.

Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
Give me the.

Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
Beers they finally get one tomorrow plus three at home
for my last doll.

Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
Rady. How many games Justin Field has won out right
in his career? Five five of them.

Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
Martin and bj coming up next, and we're broadcasting live

We'll help you get there with an unmaxed election, fast
free shipping, free road at the protection in over ten
thousand recommended in Starlars tire rack dot com The way
tire buying should be bij Let's take a spin around

(01:21:30):
the world of college football right now. Special Ratler drops
back basing completion on first to ten five yards There,
seventy second and six looks like third quarter nine twenty
four left, Tennessee thirty one, South Carolina seventeen. Special Rattler,
even though he has a pick six in this game,
has really impressed me this season in terms of his
ability and the way he's looked at the top quarterback prospect.

Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
Yeah, I'm not mad at Spencer Radler. I loved him
in Oklahoma. Things didn't work out there, of course, because
they recruited over him and he ended up getting benched
for the better player that went on and won the
Heisman for USC last year and Kayleb Wiams and.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
Stay good player. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, pretty pretty damn
good player.

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
To the point his daddy's saying that, depending upon who
got the number one pick, whether my son is coming
out or not. But Spencer Ratler has done some good
things there South Carolina. They just don't have the perimeter guys.
They just don't have the guys up front on the
offense or the defensive side of the ball. They dropped
this game. They're looking at two and three. They've already
got three losses in the first five games. They can
easily finish the six and six, seven and five type

(01:22:25):
team hopefully get into a ball but you know, we'll
see what it will be on the next level. I
think if he gets the proper coaching and you got
a line in front of you to you know, for
you to be able to use the proper coaching like
any quarterback in the NFL, I think it could be
serviceable at the next level.

Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
But I agree with you. I like the stride tief
take he's taken.

Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
I like the improvement that he's shown since the you know,
the freckle face eighteen year old that was highly recruited
coming out of high school.

Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
And you know, otherwise up here we have Sam Hartman
and his ability to rent a car. That's what I
was talking to Steve Hartman earlier. Who to claim Sam
Harmon is his family. I would have dumped him after
last week.

Speaker 1 (01:23:03):
That's fa.

Speaker 3 (01:23:05):
But if you're if you're twenty four, twenty five years old,
like maybe you should be able to qualify with the Husman.
But anyway, well Chris Winky won it an AG's twenty eight, Yeah,
but also spent like three years playing minor league baseball.
It's just like, yeah, you're an adult. You should be
better than the college kids at playing football because you're
an adult, right Like you're you're grown. Like you're an

(01:23:29):
adult adde at twenty eight, but you're an adult, grown
as hell at twenty. I know.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
I know people at twenty eight with two kids. Yeah,
I was three or four.

Speaker 3 (01:23:37):
Yeah, paying taxes, Browner, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:23:41):
You're paying the rent. You got a carno, got a boat. Anyway,
I did think that another dame. Now we're just talking
about this now, so I won't go ahead to say
it with my chest like VJ will make his predictions.
But I did think not the name was in trouble
to Night against Duke in part because I think Riley
Leonard is a stud and this Duke team is that's
slept on right now another day. With a six point lead,

(01:24:02):
thirteen to seven, two point fifty four left in the
third quarter, as Duke gets a sack on third down
the fourth fourth down, Riley Leonard will get the ball
back here with about two thirty left in the third quarter.

Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
Yeah, I thought they could be on upset alert. I
still picked Notre Dame to win this game because I
think they just have better players and they're better suited
for a game like this. It's been low scorings, thirteen
to six. We're sitting in the third quarter with two
thirty three as the clock is ticking and winding down.
But if it comes down to them making a play,
I would I would trust Nordre Dame to make the

(01:24:33):
play they would need to make over Duke to make
the play that they would need to make, because Notre
Dame has been here. They were just in this situation
last week, and.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
They didn't make the play well, they called.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
Well, they coughed the game up. I thought a lot
of that had to do with coaching. I thought some
of the coaching play calling and decisions had a lot
to do with that. Now the players are still in
the field, the players still have to make the plays.
I get all of that, but the coaches are there
for a reason. Also too, to the fact that you
didn't even have eleven guys on the field last play, Like,
as the coaching staff, you didn't even know that you
were a guy short and not saying they would have

(01:25:05):
stopped him if they had the eleventh guy. But not
having the eleventh guy does give you know, it raises
the probability that Ohio State's gonna score on the draw
play that I called it today. Oh I would love to.
I would love it if it was eleven on eleventh. Yeah,
I would love to see a draw play right here
and they run it right to the short side. We're
probably that eleventh guy needed to be so, but I

(01:25:27):
still took Notre Dame in this game. But I don't
believe them as a national contender. I think that the
SC game coming up that that could be, you know,
a loss for them also too. So we'll see how
the rest of this game pans out. But Duke has
been very impressive this year. Shout out to another basketball
school playing really well football at this time year September,
and I used to seeing it so at school for
college football. They just asked the Affleck trivia question who

(01:25:49):
has more first round picks, Duke basketball or Notre Dame football.
I would say Notre Dame football. My first guest was
gonna be Duke basketball.

Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
But so we'll see, we'll see I would say norre
Dame football, but no that it's been a trend this season, right.
I mean, Kansas lost today, but they've went up against Texas,
a third rand team in the nation. They but Kansas
has been very impressive on the Lambs Leopold over the
last two seasons. And again, I mean they lost forty
to fourteen today, So I'm not trying to paint a
picture that's an accurate.

Speaker 3 (01:26:19):
But there was a backup quarterback all game today. It
was tough early in that game too. I think that
they were hanging there. They had to pick six.

Speaker 1 (01:26:25):
It was. It was tough earlier in that game.

Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
But then of course, once again, the better players, the
better coaching, the guys that are more prepared sooner or
later in the game, you should eventually take over.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
Georgia Auburn. We were talking to lead during the break.
If you're Auburn, like what.

Speaker 3 (01:26:41):
That there's one guy, there's one guy that's a skill
position guy that can run and catch that you should
have to worry about who can beat you, and that's
Brock Bowers. And you still let a linebacker or a
strong safety shadow him across the field on crossing routes.
He had two catches and nine yards in the first half.
Do what the hell you were doing in the first half.

(01:27:02):
They wouldn't throw the ball to him. Once you decided, okay,
we got this guy. We got this Mackie Award winner.
Nobody's ever won it twice. You might as well give
it to him this year. He's gonna be the first
two time Mackie Award winner for best tight end in
college football. But he just took over that game. But
every play on watching him, like, how the hell is
he the guy open? Like how is he the guy

(01:27:24):
open up? All the guys wearing the Georgia uniform today,
that's the guy in the third and fourth quarter that
you want to lead open. So you know, we're seeing
teams to make astronomical mistakes and drop some of these games,
which norder Dain possibly can do.

Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Here.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
We watched LSU up here as they got finished off
fifty five to forty nine. I believe the final was.
But you know, Brian Kelly, hello, you give up seven
hundred yards. That's a problem. You just got knocked out
of the college football playoff because your defense gave up
fifty five points to Ole Miss and let's not act like, oh,
Misses and Lane Kiffin has been world beater since he's

(01:27:59):
been down there.

Speaker 2 (01:28:00):
To the point, this is Lane Kiffin's biggest win easily
since he's been out easily to knock off the thirteenth
ringe team and LSU. And I'm doing this on the
top of my head so in case somebody else is
that I can't think of.

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
There you go, Duke fifty two first round picks, Notre
Dame forty five. Wow, how about that Martin Weiss with
the win?

Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
You got that one.

Speaker 2 (01:28:21):
No, But to to the point of this game, I
was thinking about this Notre Dame team and going back
to the LSU kind of juxtaposed to LSU had two
false starts of this game, which equated to the biggest
defensive stop that all miss I mean that all miss
had had in this game. You think about last week
Notre Dame unable to execute down the stretch. There was
two or three plays where they had less than eleven

(01:28:42):
guys on the field, and uh, I think back to
Duke Clemson where every step of the way that game
that was a Friday night game, I believe every step
of the way Duke made moves where it was like, Oh,
Mike Elcho's on top of this, and it's like every
Now I get the story was, let's everybody make fun
of Dabo swingy because that's you know, it's everybody's it's

(01:29:03):
one of the Internet pastimes to poke fun at Dabo
and his program made it easy. Well, you know, this
program is made in the name and his image and
likeness of God, you know, as opposed to everybody else who's.

Speaker 3 (01:29:12):
Getting paid yog bring your own goods, bring your own goods.

Speaker 2 (01:29:21):
But you know, so it felt more like a Clemson
funeral for lack of a better term, than a Duke celebration.
That night, Duke wins this, they're gonna be talked about
in a different way.

Speaker 1 (01:29:34):
Yeah, question, Just back to Clemson.

Speaker 3 (01:29:36):
They were quick none nine penalties for forty five yards
for Notre Dame at the start of the fourth quarter. Wow,
I wonder about this team. Yeah, discipline means a lot.
But but just with Clemson and Dabble for a minute, is.

Speaker 1 (01:29:49):
Is Dabble that guy? Is he really that great of
a coach?

Speaker 3 (01:29:53):
Or was it just nice to have a six year
run with Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson pretty much carrying
your team. They had other great players too, but when
you got back to back recruits like that pretty much
carrying your your your program to two national championships. And
then once you lose those guys, you go and you
recruit another five star kid. But he didn't work out.

(01:30:15):
He's already transferred. I don't know if the quarterback there
right now. It was even better than what DJ's playing
this year. He played Club Tick played better than DJ
in Spur like the Spur last year.

Speaker 2 (01:30:27):
Yeah, cool, he got the opportunity to the point. But
this season, I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Yeah, I watched DJ, and you guys know I've banged
on the kid enough. But I always say, I'm a
gentleman who can change my mind when I receive and
see new information.

Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
DJ's playing very well for Oregon State this year.

Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
Sometimes it takes certain players a little longer for the
light to go on and for the light to click,
and he's got a really good defense. Martin loves Oregon
State this year. I still think that they got some
trap games and some l's coming up. But great win
against Utah. Man, I know somebody was, Yeah, I know
a lot of somebody here. They used to engineer, this
great show that does a lot of Detroit stuff, was

(01:31:04):
talking about howdon coach prom is gonna get curb stumped
at the TCU game. Yea had to beat TCU just
to get curve stomped by Utah. Well, Utah's not curve
stomping nobody right now because they're sitting with an l
and it looks like they might have more coming if
they don't take care of the quarterbacks sation. But with Dabbo,
is there something there? You know, you had Trevor and
Deshaun for six straight years and now it's.

Speaker 1 (01:31:26):
You know, it's kind of you look not average. Do
you remember when he beat Saban? Right?

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
And then Saban came out and was complaining about the
way that they let linemen down.

Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
The field and talk about the Deshaun win.

Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Yes, okay, and he says, look, if this is the
way that we want to call the game, then this
is the way we'll play the game, right, And so
what I I bring that up because right now we
see an Alabama team that is in a transitional period
as they just give up a touchdown Mississippi State seventeen
to nine, Mississippi State extra point pending.

Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
For the for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
There we see a team in transition because you had uh, now,
I'm gonna mess the order up, but you had Tua,
Jalen Hurts, Mac Jones, and then Bryce Young right two
in Jalen Hurts being out there at the same Okay, Jayleen,
there you go, Jalen Hurt and then Tua came.

Speaker 1 (01:32:18):
In and yeah, ollkright, so boom, there you go.

Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
Regardless, four quarterbacks taken in the first sixty four picks
of the NFL draft.

Speaker 1 (01:32:27):
Right now, you've.

Speaker 3 (01:32:28):
Got Dyalen Milroe and ty Bucknerer and Ty Simpson right
all played for national championships too.

Speaker 1 (01:32:33):
Just like those four quarterbacks all played for national championship.
You've got to now.

Speaker 2 (01:32:39):
You don't have that a one King of the Hill
talent at quarterback.

Speaker 3 (01:32:46):
But like I told you, I've told you the last
few weeks, we don't need Jalen Milroe to be a
first row pick. No, we just need our let's let's
just say week Nick Saban just needs you say we though.

Speaker 1 (01:32:56):
But I'm speaking were speaking.

Speaker 2 (01:32:58):
I'm speaking from the preference of the Alley Obama, from
the reference of the Alabama program. Because you've had all
these guys come out and be the guy. Like mac
Jones was the top fifty eight pick and he was
in Jalen Hurst's second round pick, you know, to a
lottery pick, you know, bright young, first overall pick. Okay,
So very similar to Deshaun and Shrevor right, very similar

(01:33:21):
to that. Doabo never reinvented himself. Right now, Alabama's coming
out in twelveth of personnel, run running back, two tight ends,
thirteen personnel, three tight ends on the field.

Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
And say you know what, we'll We'll throw it every
so often. No pass attempts to the first quarter today
from Milroe, No just hand off. They're calling a different
game than they used to.

Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
It seems to me that Clemson is calling the exact
same game that has always been called man and like
you bring in Gabrett Riley to call your offense and
it's like no, no, no, you're calling the Clemson offense
as just you're just going to be the offensive coordinator
as opposed to you coming in here and putting our
players the best listen to succeed.

Speaker 3 (01:34:01):
We're just turning a hand in the Shipley. I think
they're giving the ball to Shipley way too much and
not using their other weapons.

Speaker 1 (01:34:05):
The other thing about it, you watch college football.

Speaker 3 (01:34:08):
I know you have the volume of probably more than
I do, right, because I'm good to watch a game
with no.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
Sound, Yeah, and I need a sound. How many times
do you hear?

Speaker 3 (01:34:17):
Oh, five yard run by such and such who transferred
from this place?

Speaker 1 (01:34:22):
Fifteen from such as? A man transferred from there? Today?

Speaker 3 (01:34:26):
Ray Davis almost had three hundred yards for Kentucky rushing
last year. He didn't play for Kentucky. No, he played
for Vanderbilt. He's a senior, right, he's a senior. He's
a veteran kid.

Speaker 1 (01:34:39):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:34:39):
We're looking at Spencer Rattler. Another transfer, but it's just
transfer to Sam Hartman. Another transfer.

Speaker 2 (01:34:46):
You named me, the big get that Dabbles got in
the transfer portal, Caleb Williams transfer.

Speaker 1 (01:34:50):
You name it. The last few Husman winners have been transferring.
Dear Sanders transfer him.

Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
Joe Borrow transfer, Carlamuri transfer, Baker Mayfield transfer transfer transfer beautiful,
isn't it?

Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
Man?

Speaker 4 (01:35:03):
Is this?

Speaker 8 (01:35:03):
Well?

Speaker 3 (01:35:04):
Not if you're Doabo Sweden, because you're like, hey man,
how was the transfer over here?

Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
Maybe people don't in.

Speaker 3 (01:35:10):
The fall, Maybe you don't want to go play for him? Man,
you know he's a like I said, it just feels
just the feeling of it. I'm watching this team's play
and it's like, man, boy, were you lucky that you
had Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence for six straight years
quarterbacks that can go get it for you by Deshaun
Watson and back to back years had a total of

(01:35:30):
five hundred plus yards, and back to back years against Alabama,
and back to back years he had over one hundred
rushing and he had three and some change passing, and
back to back years against Alabama. Nobody does that to
Nick Saban and Alabama. He did it twice and then
especially in yeah and then and he beat him. Trevor
Lawrence guess what he Guess what he beat He beat
Alabama for a national championship. Like he these quarterbacks, you

(01:35:52):
gotta have a veteran quarterback, just a super stud.

Speaker 1 (01:35:55):
He didn't have that anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:35:56):
And I think that when you don't have that, you
have to reinvent yourself with be able to still coach
and win games, as we see Saban and this offensive
crew is attempting to do. But I've mentioned this about
Saban over the last decade there were years they were
defense dominated, and there were years they were offense dominated.
Whatever side they were gonna dominate on, that's the side.
Day they'd been LSU in the National Championship Game twenty

(01:36:18):
one to six or twenty one to three or twenty,
but it was it was like seven or six to nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:36:22):
For most it was all defense. They lost the.

Speaker 3 (01:36:24):
LSU earlier that year on a Saturday night to six,
nine to six, but they rolled the defense. They didn't
have star talent. I'm with you, Dabble needs to figure out, Okay,
where are my strengths. But you lose venables two, so
the defense isn't.

Speaker 1 (01:36:36):
So good anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
Well, like say, I mean, you can go to Alabama
to the reform school for Nick Saban failed coaches. You
know that's where probably you know, secretly Dave Randa and Baylor.
I have a feeling he may be calling defenses for
Alabama next year as we see Baylor struggle so far
this season. But we'll get into some more NFL talk

What is it about you that makes you can't sit
still as I read that it's like.

Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
It's just like it's like it's like a like a
like a kid. Just you can't sittell of you Anthony pants. No,
I don't have answer my pants. I have a lot
of energy and all six foot three, two eighty five
of me. Man, I'm happy. I got good energy. I'm excited.
You do to read so good and hide me. And
then Loraina is just killing the tracks since she became
our engineer on this show, Like the girl just knows what.

(01:38:27):
We don't need some of the cool stuff you play.
We don't even have to say nothing to you. You
take something from the first segment and then tie up
a nice song into it.

Speaker 1 (01:38:34):
I just got good feelings around here, you know, Martin.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:38:36):
I'm not bland and I'm not you know, uh black coffee.
I like a lot of cream and sugar.

Speaker 1 (01:38:41):
In my cars. I'm sorry, man, it's a lot of
a lot of energy. This is what I bring. This
is my job.

Speaker 3 (01:38:45):
I'm doing my job. You're keeping straight. I'm the wild guy,
I'm the loose cannon.

Speaker 1 (01:38:50):
I'm the wildcard bro. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:38:51):
You're Marcus Burnout, I'm Mike Lowry. You know what I'm
saying that you're Marcus burned out. I'm Mike Lowry, bro
we were.

Speaker 1 (01:38:58):
This is what it is. One man, one year look
at us, one year not us?

Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
Somehow not us been a lifetime in a week all
at the same time.

Speaker 3 (01:39:09):
And this is also a great time for me because
I just have a birthday now. The anniversary of our
show is a week after my birthday. So from moving forward,
this is like ten to fourteen day run for me.
Come on, man, you don't dance. You don't want to
dance when you hear the birthday song about two change,
you don't want to bump your shoulders a little bit
to that.

Speaker 1 (01:39:27):
Come on, No, what makes me want to bump my
shoulders is.

Speaker 2 (01:39:30):
Duke running to rule the Notre Dame defense. That's what
I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (01:39:35):
First and goal, eight yard carry, eight golden domers on
his back.

Speaker 1 (01:39:40):
Who is at Matthews he's running back for almost got
into the end, So stop trying to strip the ball.
Wrap up this. I'm telling you what, man.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
Notre Dame has not looked impressive over the last two
weeks at all. I know that it was Ohio State
last week that they ended up losing to and I
know that the it was the ten men on the
field debacle for the last two or three or four hell,
who knows maybe five players of the last stretch, but
they look, you know what it is VJ light and
the AD.

Speaker 1 (01:40:09):
I know that's your joint right there. Man.

Speaker 3 (01:40:11):
Also to just real quick back to me dancing in
part so much. You're the one they figured out how
to get the camera going. So now I got to
perform for the camera every Saturday. You know you don't, Yeah,
I do? You really don't I do. If I don't,
then people will think I'm in here front man, And
we know we can't have that.

Speaker 8 (01:40:25):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:40:26):
People expect us from people, expect us from me. Martin.

Speaker 3 (01:40:29):
You don't know because you don't trust me. People expect
this out of me. I gotta give it to him. Dog,
third and goal right now for Riley Leonard and the
Blue three Devils, nine thirty left in the in the
fourth course. Score right here, call it the score. Yes, okay.
I think they got to settle for three. It's third
and third and goal. I think they have to settle
for three. I don't know if they punched this.

Speaker 1 (01:40:46):
In well, we'll see you, we'll see.

Speaker 3 (01:40:49):
Let's see Riley fakes the handoff and that is an
easy touchdown to number eight right there. More with the
easy touchdown reception, who was I mean, there wasn't a
guy I we did five yards of him.

Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
Steve de Seger is about ten yards away from me.
I'll stop doing his job and I'll let him do it. Steve,
what what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:41:07):
My friend? Jordan Moore?

Speaker 5 (01:41:08):
Four catches, sixty seven yards and now a touchdown extra point.
We'll put Duke ahead of Notre Dame for the moment.
It is thirteen thirteen, we have nine seventeen left.

Speaker 2 (01:41:19):
Ghave he left the game hurt earlier in the third quarter.
Jordan Moore did came back in for that touchdown pass.

Speaker 6 (01:41:25):
Where is the Irish offense? You could?

Speaker 5 (01:41:27):
You can't talk enough about what you were talking about
with Notre Dame. I mean, I know Duke's not bad,
but if your Notre Dame and they are going to
be playing USC in a couple of weeks at home,
that's going to be the big Saturday night game in
two weeks. I just I'm expecting more.

Speaker 3 (01:41:41):
And Hartman is supposed to be a heisman was a
heisman candidate in front Runner can't put points on the flight.

Speaker 2 (01:41:46):
They say, you got a quarterback that can run a
car out there, Steve, and he's having it.

Speaker 6 (01:41:48):
He's having a ver Well, you can't play Northwestern every week.

Speaker 5 (01:41:52):
Youan while on FS one, fourteenth ranked Oklahoma's up fifty
to twenty on Iowa State. Mercifully, about three minutes left
in the game, Tennessee has scored again. Valls lead thirty
four to seventeen over South Carolina early fourth quarter. Alabama's
lead is seventeen to ten at Mississippi State. Late in
the second quarter. Update, the extra point is good for
Duke fourteen to thirteen over the Irish. About nine minutes

(01:42:15):
left in this game, and Washington has scored a touchdown
in the first quarter. Extra point will make it seven
to nothing at Arizona. The late game in a few
minutes starts on FS one with undefeated in twenty fifth
ranked Fresno State hosting Nevada. Iowa at home is losing
to Michigan State sixteen thirteen Spartans with under eight minutes

(01:42:36):
to go and apparently nothing like the balls injury you
mentioned earlier in the show. Tennessee wide receiver Bru McCoy
corted off with a gruesome leg injury, but nonetheless carted
off with a leg injury. For Iowa tonight was quarterback
Cade mcnabarr. He's been on crutches on the sideline that
Iowa was losing at home in the fourth also in progress,

(01:42:57):
It's Virginia Tech twenty eight twenty one over Pitch in
the third quarter, Ole miss with a win of fifty
five forty nine over LSU with two touchdowns in about
the last five minutes. Victories for Kentucky and Missouri today.
Number one Georgia on a touchdown pass with three minutes left.
One at Auburn twenty seven to twenty late in the
first half, Auburn was stopped on a fourth and one

(01:43:18):
at Georgia's twelve, and late in the second half, Auburn
threw an interception from about midfield. Lost by seven points.
Victories in the top ten for Michigan and Texas. For
Penn State and Oregon. Number eight USC one at Colorado
forty eight to forty one. Caleb Williams six touchdown passes
as USC led forty eight twenty one. Late in the
third quarter. Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not play tomorrow.

(01:43:42):
He's been in concussion protocol at Gulf's Ryder Cup. Europe
leads the US ten and a half to five and
a half going to the final day in Italy baseball,
the season ends tomorrow. The Miami Marlins have clinched a
wildcard berth with a win tonight seven to three at Pittsburgh,
and that means the Cubs are They had lost four
straight until tonight's victory, which now means nothing. Atlanta beat

(01:44:04):
Washington Spencer Strider, now twenty and five on the season.
Not good for the Reds. They're losing in the ninth
fifteen to six at the Cardinals. Saint Louis had long
checked out of this season. Also in progress, Houston ahead
one nothing at Arizona in the top of the eighth.
Houston clinch is a wildcard spot with a victory tonight.
The Texas Rangers are first in the Al West. The

(01:44:26):
Texas Rangers were in action tonight and that has just
gone final six to' one at Seattle. Victory for Texas,
that means Seattle cannot win the division. Rangers were a
game ahead of Houston in the division to start the night.

Speaker 6 (01:44:42):
Tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (01:44:43):
All the MLB games will begin at three pm Eastern time.
The postseason begins on Tuesday, by the way, with the
Marlins clinching a playoff spot. This from a sportsnet in Canada.
They've clinched a playoff spot and yet their run differential
is a minus fifty three this season. The record worst
is a minus forty two when the Padres made the

(01:45:03):
playoffs almost twenty years ago. You know, I'm guessing they're
not going to be outscored by ten to fifteen tomorrow.
But it's not yet final. All the results are not
yet in. But this is the Marlins team that after
June first, was twenty nine and twenty eight on the
season and will lay up beat yeah in the postseason.
Those next four weeks of June were great. Update Alabama
has scored extra point, will make it what twenty four

(01:45:27):
to ten at Mississippi State. We've still got a minute
to go in the first half. They're back to you.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
Thanks Steve, Martin and VJ coming to you live from
the Tireck dot Com studios or should I say Martin
and w J. Yes, we are at a This is
going to be an all time we Jay moment. See
Lee's looking at me with a question mark on the face,
just in case this is the first time you're hearing
us or joining us.

Speaker 1 (01:45:47):
As Lee the lab has not produced to show a
quite some time. Welcome. I have some nicknames for VJ.
One of them we j Ry.

Speaker 2 (01:45:56):
He calls his teams we us and apparently he and
the Texas Rangers. Yes, Lorraina wants to play. We're the
champions for some reason, did Steve?

Speaker 1 (01:46:07):
We did it.

Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
We I told you guys, we're in the postseason.

Speaker 1 (01:46:11):
Baby, I got the bottle. It's our anniversary show. I've
been telling you guys. It's named you. Martin is playing
for this.

Speaker 3 (01:46:21):
Martin is the one that got me into baseball, back
into baseball this year by telling me I can watch
the games for twenty four to ninety nine a month
on the MLB dot com at and That's what I've
been doing. And because I'm part of this, man, I
belong to the Texas Rangers.

Speaker 1 (01:46:36):
I got my Rangers had play it, baby, Yes we
did it. I'm just hy you man.

Speaker 3 (01:46:45):
I get to watch my squad in the postseason this year.

Speaker 1 (01:46:49):
Yes, we did it, Bruce, I'm went you, baby, champions
of what exactly? Well, I don't do get to the postseason.
So they're.

Speaker 3 (01:47:01):
Get into the postseason. Dude, we were bad last year.
We lost almost one hundred games last year. To turn
that around with ninety wins, we're a game and a
half up on the Astros. That's one and nothing in
the eighth. I got that one on my computer right here.
That's one and nothing in the middle of the eighth.
Hopefully the Diamond Bass can get a run or two
for me, which you will give us the division. But
that win right there, that strikeout just put my Texas

(01:47:21):
Rangers and us will just put us into the postseason.

Speaker 1 (01:47:26):
Yes, thank you, Loraine. I appreciate you. We did it, Bruce.
It's crazy. It's crazy, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
I imagine that Rangers postseason check will be finding you
in and see it right. Well, that's not of y'all business.
First of all, where my extra money comes from. Need
to stay out my financial business. First of all, don't
worry about where extra money comes from. But we us,
I'm part of it. I love it. Thank you, Thank you, Loraine.
I appreciate you. Thank you Martin for letting me have
that moment.

Speaker 1 (01:47:50):
We did it.

Speaker 2 (01:47:51):
See there you go that now, Lee, you've experienced we
J DJ. That is a prime we J moment.

Speaker 1 (01:47:58):
I'm a Packers fan. I try not to use we.

Speaker 3 (01:48:01):
Yeah, I use we all the damn time. I'm part
of this, man. I give energy to my team. I'm
part of this. I take this for real. You haven't
been here to while Martin knows. I hate when I
talk up a player and really say it with my
chest and they go out and play like crap. I
come back in here and get on them. Hey, look, man,
you're making me look bad because I'm in here defending you. Man,
trying to give you good voodoo and give you good energy,

(01:48:21):
and that's how you're gonna go play.

Speaker 1 (01:48:22):
I gotta come in here and face this guy. I
gotta come in here.

Speaker 3 (01:48:25):
And face these people. Man, get your stuff together and
play better so I don't look dumb.

Speaker 1 (01:48:29):
See you're not. Just wait till next week. Just wait
till next week.

Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
Well, he's got to come in here and say how
he said that Justin Field is gonna be the best
player on the field like tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:48:37):
Hey, hey on, you give me my credit. I eat
when I'm wrong. I don't bounce around, I don't backtrack.
I come in and that I'm wrong. I'm just not
wrong a lot. It's not my fault. Yeah, I'm not wrong,
that's what Matt. I'm just not wrong a lot. I'm
sorry guys that I don't come in studio aiming to
be wrong on national radio. Sorry, VJ Wright, Baby, that's
because he always thinks he is.

Speaker 1 (01:48:56):
What did Jay Flowers do last week? Zay Flowers? I'm
what I'm so okay my proclamation? Yeah too. I saw
your face that lak to me.

Speaker 2 (01:49:05):
Just just in case anybody's not an avid listener of
Martin VJ. In the podcast, VJ derailed an entire segment
last to go ahead and let us know that, according.

Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
To him, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:49:18):
Vanilla domas right, Vanilla Domas. You saw the hasstag Vanila do,
says Tyreek Hill, I mean sorry, say Flowers. And all
three games played two at that point, three games played
total in career is trending to be the next Tyreek Hill.
But within the next eighteen to twenty four months, I said,
the next two.

Speaker 10 (01:49:38):
Years, he's gonna have a game or two this season
I think for sure, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:49:41):
A game or two this season.

Speaker 3 (01:49:42):
But if you go back and watch Tyrek ESK, yeah,
thank you. If you go and that's and I prefaced it. Man,
he's not telling the whole story. I went back and
watched you can YouTube anything. I just went back and
watched young Tyreek tape where he wasn't putting up these
astronautical numbers, but he had these plays where you just
put the tape on and watch how a guy can
make a guy miss and then punching go good hands. They
move him around, get them off of coverage, so you

(01:50:03):
move him in motion so they have free release. That's
what Baltimore is doing with him. They move him around
a lot so it gets free release. He's a smaller guy,
so he doesn't want to go up against the six
twenty pound corner. No, that's press coverage all day. Put
him in put him in motion. So the slot guy,
the linebacker, the safety, somebody's got to jump on him.
Reverse screens, screens, quick screens, get him the ball in
space and let him do his thing. And I just

(01:50:24):
I like the kid a lot man, just from the
tape I've seen, and I'm like, Okay, I just want
to let me jump out there before everybody else. If
I'm wrong and wrong, but if I'm right, but when
I'm right, he.

Speaker 1 (01:50:33):
Likes to jump. There's no need to jump yesterday. Why
are you jumping? Complans flying just fine?

Speaker 4 (01:50:39):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:50:39):
No, what are you jumping out of it for? I
got a good parachute.

Speaker 1 (01:50:45):
Flying thirty thousand feet?

Speaker 3 (01:50:48):
Yeah, but I could say I jumped out of a
plane before. You can't actually had you? Have you sky
dived before?

Speaker 1 (01:50:54):
Yes? Okay, well then you can say anything.

Speaker 2 (01:50:56):
So it actually jumps out of a plane before and
done and or sky diving, which is like to turkey bacon.

Speaker 1 (01:51:00):
It's not nearly as fun, but it's a safe for alternative.
I love turkey bacon. Why'd you dis turkey bake? Because
turkey bacon is a disgusting.

Speaker 3 (01:51:08):
Uh aperation to what actual bacon is.

Speaker 1 (01:51:13):
It's not real bacon, that's for sure. But yeah, Lee,
I'm a wee guy.

Speaker 3 (01:51:16):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:51:17):
We've had Tyler Dragon was on two weeks ago. He goes,
I like, how you keep saying we about your dolphins?
V Jay.

Speaker 2 (01:51:22):
I'm like, bro, cause you know, if Jackson goes down,
god forbid. With fifteen minutes left in it on fourteen
minutes left in the second quarter, the big vanilla funny
put me in coach right tackle, Let's go baby?

Speaker 3 (01:51:35):
What we run into Oh so oo will be running
baby and my past market. I'm blocking down. I got you,
I got you. He'll never touch you. He'll never tell you.
Guys remember necessary roughness, Big Mono to the quarterback at
the end of the game.

Speaker 1 (01:51:47):
He'll never touch you, mister Blake. I love it. I
love it. Let me have fun, Martin. Why you hear
fun police?

Speaker 3 (01:51:57):
Woo comes the fun Police, Captain Martin.

Speaker 1 (01:52:02):
I guess so.

Speaker 2 (01:52:04):
Here goes some tweets you could get us at us
at Martin Wis's, at Big Vanilla Funny. How can I
become Britney Runner's thirty six body more likely than my
dysfunctional Raiders winning a Super Bowl anytime soon? That's from
T Cochels. Yeah, I don't think either one of those
is happening anytime. Suppal also with have major questions about
the thirty five.

Speaker 1 (01:52:24):
But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:52:25):
Yeah, you want either one of those that happen, my man? Yeah,
back back off that one. None of my business. At
Paul Leosi, Yeah, back off that one right now.

Speaker 2 (01:52:34):
At Martin Wis's, at Big Vanilla Funny, they want you
to stunt like weezy and lead your squads out.

Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
Of the tunnel.

Speaker 3 (01:52:40):
Did you see Lil Wayne running out Thursday night before
the Lions Packers game.

Speaker 1 (01:52:45):
How do you feel about that one?

Speaker 3 (01:52:47):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:52:47):
We talk?

Speaker 3 (01:52:48):
I felt, if nothing else, he probably should have worn
a green shirt.

Speaker 1 (01:52:52):
Yeah, running out there in this.

Speaker 3 (01:52:54):
Red shirt like over if you're gonna be you know,
super fan Packers, you should probably just throw on like
a ten jersey or something, right.

Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
Yeah, like that's that's you know now.

Speaker 2 (01:53:06):
My first thought was, Wow, Lil Wayne really living up
to the little name there.

Speaker 1 (01:53:11):
Yeah, he's small. I mean he's small.

Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
I've been in the same room with him a few
different times and I'm significantly taller than him.

Speaker 1 (01:53:20):
Like, I mean, it's like the little is earned.

Speaker 3 (01:53:23):
I thought it was someone's son that got black swear.
I thought I thought it was somebody's son. I was like,
oh that ain't that the cutie? Oh that's so cute.
Hit to left the little son, I said, his son's
got tattoos on his who son's got taxed? Oh God,
that's Wayne. That's Little Wayne running out of Like come on, man,
what have you? What have you done to get the

(01:53:44):
run out the town with the Okay, fine, I get it.

Speaker 1 (01:53:47):
Hip hop and pop culture merging together with sports, But yeah,
that was a little while.

Speaker 3 (01:53:53):
For the funniest part to me was how you saw
him run out of gas and then said, you know what,
I'm gonna spin around against some high fives here, because uh,
this is this is this.

Speaker 1 (01:54:02):
Is a long way to run. Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:54:05):
Because he starts to running in, turns around and starts
high fiving. That's why I thought it was somebody's son.
Another twee here, mister Brian Alberts, an avid listener to
the show We Appreciate You, Homeboy at Fox Sports Radio
at Big Vanilla Funny, this is Martin White after he
loses a five team parlay and this year Kevin James mean,
so there you go. You started something. Man, I just

(01:54:26):
don't understand starting something, bro, It's the clearest thing.

Speaker 1 (01:54:30):
It's the clearest sign that I'm getting older. Like did
you watch the show?

Speaker 2 (01:54:36):
No, I I knew it was on, but I'm saying
it's the clear sign that I'm getting older, because like.

Speaker 1 (01:54:42):
I used to be in all in on all these jokes.

Speaker 2 (01:54:45):
Like there's this thing going on with barbells that people
are doing with the private parts and I don't know
nothing about it, Like what are we doing here.

Speaker 1 (01:54:53):
I don't know what the goal is.

Speaker 2 (01:54:55):
I don't know why we're doing like boy math and
girl math like somehow. It's just the Internet is passing
me by, and I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Speaker 1 (01:55:06):
I'm with you on that. There's a lot of things
I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (01:55:08):
I didn't know the dances that when you see girls
set their camera up and they back up and they
do these these days. I didn't know that was a
TikTok thing. I thought that was so rapped up they
saw it was like some music video. I did not
know that TikTok had these dances that you do, So
I'm out of the loot. Sometimes with social media and
some of the funny memes everybody's laughing about, and then
things I think it's funny and that I tune into,

(01:55:31):
other people are like, no, I don't know what that is.
I'm like, well, dude, this guy does a dad joke
every day. You should follow with this guy. It's got
fifty seven thousand followering. He does really funny dad jokes.
And I'm a dad and I like telling Corney dad
jokes to other little kids. So works for me, it
might not work for you. Know guy that have kids
but works for the big Vanilla Funny.

Speaker 2 (01:55:47):
Alabama thirty one Mississippi State ten Jalen Milroe has been
electric in this game so far in the first half.

Speaker 1 (01:55:53):
Maybe you're should have stuck with it the whole time. Nick,
all right, he's your hindon hooker this year.

Speaker 2 (01:55:58):
Duke's got third and four right now, three minutes left
in the fourth quarter with a one point lead. This
obviously not to Dame has still has three timeouts, but
this first down here would make a major to change
the win probability significantly for Duke.

Speaker 1 (01:56:12):
Let's see if they get it.

Speaker 2 (01:56:12):
If they ever hiked the ball with the running back
motioning back into the backfield, Riley Leonard receives a snap,
hands it off and they are stunt in the backfield,
They'll be kicking a field goal here on fourth and sixth.
When we come back, we'll have a conclusion of that
game and some NFL picks Martin and VJ.

back to the left, throws toward the back of the
ends on the pass is gonna be dunflickton and in complete.

Speaker 1 (01:56:50):
It's over snow flag. Oh Man, So he's won over
LSU fifty five to forty nine.

Speaker 2 (01:56:58):

Speaker 2 (01:57:17):
Kellum from lear Field for that call. Old miss upsets
LSU as a home dog. There you have it, and
right now we're looking live at Duke Notre Dame. Note
Sam Hartman has four comebacks, four and fourth quarter comebacks.
When this team is Stroiland, We'll see if you can
make this one the fifth one. With one minute fifty
seven seconds left, his team down by one. Marcus Freeman

(01:57:39):
looking on, I don't know. Make sure you count all
eleven players on offense. Marcus, we want to make sure
you knock that one out of the park this time.
But Sam Hartman, now third and twelve, I believe with
third and ten a buck fifty seven left, we'll bring
in the conclusion of that one in this a second.
In the meanwhile, let's see if we can get some
NFL picks going. And I promise you I will update
you on this. Notre Dame Duke game lead that. What's

(01:58:00):
the first game you got for us?

Speaker 1 (01:58:01):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (01:58:01):
We got toy Story Fun Day in London tomorrow. I
don't know if you guys are going to be tuning
in for that or not. We got Falcons at Jags
in London where the Jags are three point favorites at home.

Speaker 2 (01:58:10):
All Right, First of all, I just want to make
it known I hate London football. I hate the fact
that I'm setting an alarm to watch football tomorrow morning.
It's disgusting. Football comes on after church. All right, that's
gonna we get that straight out and get that in order.
First second order of business, I'm taking the Atlanta Falcons
under points. I am not impressed with what I've seen
out of the Jacksonville Jaguars so far this year. I
don't care if they're at Jacksonville on the road, London,

(01:58:32):
wherever there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:58:33):
I'm going with Jacksonville on this one. Can I need
Jacksonville once again to be one of those teams that
make me look right for talking them big most of
the summer leading into preseason, into training camp. I still
believe in him. It's a long season. They get back
on track tomorrow with this win. The Falcons des been
rid of. I'm just not sure if he's the guy there.
They're already talking about maybe trading Kyle Pitts. There's some
issues going on there in Atlanta. Give me Jacksonville in

(01:58:55):
London to cover fellas.

Speaker 10 (01:58:58):
I wouldn't be surprised if we see some line movement
in this next game, because Ian Rappaport reports that there's
now optimism that Derek Carr plays tomorrow with his right
shoulder injury. As of right now, on DraftKings, you could
get Saints minus three and a half at home versus
the Bucks.

Speaker 1 (01:59:11):
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend taking it.

Speaker 2 (01:59:13):
I would take Buccaneers plus three and a half no
matter who's playing quarterback right there, Derek Carr, Dennis Allen.
Just go look it up against the spread, not great,
Jameis Winston worse.

Speaker 1 (01:59:23):
I might be with Martin on this one.

Speaker 3 (01:59:25):
I got some love for the Saints and some faith
in them, but I just don't like the way they
look offensively. Even when Derek Carr has been in there
playing the Bucks didn't look great.

Speaker 1 (01:59:33):
But that Philly defense is just monstrous. That front seven.

Speaker 3 (01:59:36):
Jalen Carter is a grown damn man times ten in
the middle. You can't do nothing if you can't move
the middle. Go ahead and give me the Bucks here
to cover that three and a half that plus three.

Speaker 1 (01:59:48):
And a half on the road down in New Orleans.

Speaker 10 (01:59:51):
Guys, we had talked earlier in the show about teams
not wanting to be owned four. Somehow the NFL managed
to get another own three team versus another own three team,
that being the Vikings at the Anthers. Right now, the
Vikings are four and a half point favorites on the
road at Carolina.

Speaker 1 (02:00:04):
What do you guys got four and a half point favorites.

Speaker 2 (02:00:06):
I'm gonna take the Panthers here to cover, But I'll
tell you what you want to talk about.

Speaker 1 (02:00:10):
Two teams going in the wrong direction.

Speaker 2 (02:00:12):
If Minnesota turns the ball over again and a clutch
and a clutch moment, I'm gonna lose my mind. This
will be the second time in a row I picked
the Vikings. If they blow it again, I'm done. I'm done.
I'm done.

Speaker 3 (02:00:23):
I love both these quarterbacks, and I've saw both these
quarterbacks up big here on it showing any other platform
I've been on.

Speaker 1 (02:00:29):
So I got to lean one way or another.

Speaker 3 (02:00:30):
If b Y goes tomorrow, which the word is is
optimistic that he does go tomorrow, it's a home game,
the Vikings might be wrong. I might have been wrong
on the Vikings this year, and they could be cooked
and done, especially if they get to all in four.
I like the four and a half at home for
the Panthers with a pretty good defense and the Vikings
not knowing how to actually call plays.

Speaker 1 (02:00:47):
Give me the Panthers to cover. This went out home,
all right, guys.

Speaker 10 (02:00:49):
This I think is the biggest spread of the season
so far, that being the Niners at home two point
two touchdown favorites versus the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (02:00:55):
Who do you got?

Speaker 2 (02:00:56):
I'm taking the Niners. This Cardinals thing has been fun.
But U three and ozho the spread goes to three
on one this week. Forty nine ers too many weapons,
and they're they're on the road right now. It's like
the best team in the league.

Speaker 10 (02:01:06):
Lastly, Sunday Night Football, Chiefs at Jets. Chiefs nine point
favorites on the road.

Speaker 3 (02:01:09):
Give me the fighting Taylor Swifts Jeeves all right, and
that'll do it for money.

Speaker 1 (02:01:14):
