Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett mg App.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Now we're live from your tailgate.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Here's Brian no Hier, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports
handicapper from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Oh, what is going on?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Everybody?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Welcome man Week four. We are in the midst of
it and we got ball already. Jeff Schwartz with us,
will be joined by Bill Krackenberger here momentarily. But Jeff,
we got ball already. We got Jacksonville up seven nothing
as we're underway in London already here, very nice.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
You're in a far better mood this morning then last Sunday.
Why Why is that? Brian? Why are you in a
better mood this morning? Last Sunday? I like this? I
like this, Brian, this is someone who is has a
vigor for life.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
No, like, I don't feel like like it'd be okay
if everything just ended right now, you know, like last
week against Ohio State, brutal, rip your heart out. Last
night against Duke Jeff I don't know if you're watching
fourth and sixteen and Sam Hartman's like should I run?
I'm like, don't run? And he ran and picked up
the first down, and they.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Like, no, no, okay, good job. I had no money
on the game. You know, it's the story of Notre
Dame winning last night is a story that we can,
you know, use for the NFL for college football. So
if you watch into that game, Duke was pressuring Notre
Dame at a high level. They were hitting Sam Hartman,
they were confusing the offensive line, the blocking unit, and

(02:03):
then a big fourth down fourth and sixteen instead of
just doing what's been working. Yeah, they dropped eight in
the coverage. So it gave Sam Harmon and the offensive
line that had struggled all this time. They were double
teaming two guys and all Hartman had to do was
by time, which, by the way, the same thing happened
for Arizona against Washington last night. When you play USC

(02:24):
and you rush and you rush three against Caleb Williams,
I understand the idea of let's just drop everyone to coverage.
The problem is, these wide receivers are too good, these
quarterbacks are too good. If you give them time, they're
gonna make you pay. I'd rather go down as a
fan of a team, just like sending the house and
if we get beat, oh well we get beat. But
Duke did you know, did did the cardinal mistake? And

(02:45):
by the way, the Irish did this last weekend against
Ohio State third or eighteen. You drop eight in the
coverage and they just the wide receiver just ran forward,
turned around and caught the football like it wasn't even
a like, if you're gonna drop eight, at least give
him some more. So Duke made the cardinal mistake of
just tree the situation like at a different situation when
it's not. It's the same as you've been doing. Just
continue to do the thing you were doing very well.

(03:07):
And and Harvey made some plays, obviously, and obviously the
last play of the game, you know, being able to
bust out that touchdown there. But I think Duke's defense
was just like done, Like after that fourth down and
they look like they'd give it up.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
They had it, They absolutely had it. And that's one
of those things. I think that's the defensive equivalent to
the offensive goal line fade. Like unless you have Randy Moss,
I just tear my hair out with the goal line fade. Yes,
Like defense, Duke's pressuring Sam Hartman. He can't find a receiver,
he doesn't have enough time. It's second in sixteen, it's

(03:40):
third and sixteen. They're dialing up pressure and there it's like, ah,
fourth and sixteen, let's go coverage, let's let's rush three.
Why you do that?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Man?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Just like you said, stick with what's working, and you
said it last week with a mecha Buca. He's the
guy who caught that third and nineteen in the final
seconds down at the one yard line.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
You said it.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
They didn't even reroute him. You know, it's a free release.
He just turn around, there's the ball. It's like, what
are we doing?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Why?

Speaker 5 (04:09):
It's it coaches out thinkings us all the time, and
you know, I I don't know why that is. I
think coaches are afraid to maybe the escapegoat for losing.
I guess I'm calling a bad call, but I don't know. Man,
like you, I'd rather go down being aggressive than not
and you live with the results. On fourth, I mean
fourth and sixteen, you go zero pressure, you make Harmon

(04:33):
throw the ball. Now, Okay, I get sixteen yards throwing
the ball in half a second, right and one half seconds.
It's hard to do. They didn't do that obviously and
caught themselves the game in a you know, no, I
think there were no upsets yesterday college football, right, like,
no one kind of got knocked off.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I think at the top, nothing crazy. It was just Friday,
right in terms of rankings wise. Yeah, but Friday you
go down.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
But yeah, I know it's now Friday. It's and we're
now on Sunday. And Jacksonville, by the way, is just
going up and down the field on which which this game.
I've never been on the Falcons this year, you know that,
And this game is gonna just prove that again for
like a hundredth time. But the Falcons just I think
are not very good.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
They don't have a good quarterback today, quarterback Jeff. That's
not to come from behind team.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
No, it's not. And the Jacksonville Jaguars have just had
some And this is we talk a lot about sort
of the stats of the game, but it is also important,
I think, to sort of pay attention to why the
stats are the way they are. Right, So if you
watch Jacksonville, they're not scoring a bunch of points and
you're like, well, why is that they have a ton

(05:44):
of drops? Like they have the having having little things
to derail them that if they just play to their ability, boom,
just like that, it's gonna it's gonna transform to something else.
We're seeing that today, right, Guys are open, they're making
that they're catching the football like so some times when
we preview these games today, it's looking beyond the stats
sometimes looking at the reasons these are happening. And to me,

(06:07):
this is the reason why I like Jacksonville today was
because I just figured it wasn't gonna continue. They weren't
going to be They were leading the NFL and basically
EP expected points added loss to drop passes. And that's
including the Chiefs game in Week one where they jump
all those passes. So I think Jacksonville was a good
football team. They just have to overcome themselves.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Well, and I think I agree with you the funny
thing is it sounds ridiculous if you look against the stats,
you know what I mean, Like, going into a game
last week against Houston, does it make any sense for
you to be like, you know what the stats are
saying this, but I just got a feeling in my
gut they're gonna drop a lot of passes and play

(06:46):
kind of sloppy today, you know what I mean. Like,
it's hard to make that argument because it doesn't even
sound like it's well reasoned. But that's part of the
reason some of these upsets happened.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
That's also the NFL, right, So what makes it fun?
Because any given some you make a couple of errors
and you know the interesting obviously in you know the
way the sport is with how close these games are, right,
I think this is it this weekend, there's ten spreads
between three and a half points of each other. I
think that's what it was. It might have moved obviously

(07:17):
over the last couple of days, but you know, these
games are just end up being really close.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Man.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
And there's of course there's sixty plays aside on average,
sixty five points aside, but it does often come down
to those one or two mistakes right, do you do
you make the mistakes? Or do you or does the
other team make the mistakes? And there's a quality to
just being the team doesn't make it your own mistakes, right.
It's what I've loved about the Bengals for so many years, Brian.
When you watch a Bengals play, they don't really make

(07:44):
their own mistakes, right, like they let other people make mistakes,
and some of Kansas City does all too often. But
they have the best quarterback in football, so they make
up for their mistakes. They make too many mistakes, in
my opinion, for an elite team, And there's something just
about that quality of like, okay, you know, we're just
not gonna beat ourselves, and that's an important quality to

(08:04):
have for winning football teams.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, and you mentioned the close point spreads. You look
at the early window in particular today, these nine games
at one pm Eastern, there are only a couple of exceptions,
but every game, like seven of the nine games are
within four points. They are a couple of that are
three in the hook. But you just have Washington at
Philly that's about an eight and a half point spread,

(08:30):
and the Vikings against the Panthers that's four and a
half right now. Everything else is under four, like seven
of the nine games, so those are expected to be
very close games. We got crack with us now, Bill
krak Krakenberger, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Man?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
How's everything going?

Speaker 4 (08:48):
How's that a casino in Atlantic City which I thought
I had a Wi Fi spot, and I guess didn't.
I wouldn't do it. I've been battling things, battling floods
in New York. I know, I saw that battling cemeteries, Evan.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Everywhere there was a battling cemetery.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
I mean, it's a story for different station, but.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
No, no, no, it's still big deal. I it's a it's
a sports story, you know. I just uh went to
a few different and I always wanted to go to
see these these these famous graves like Baby Ruth, Joe DiMaggio,
Joe not Joe Demagio, Louke Garrick and stuff. So I
went up to the cemetery about an hour north of
the city and then never expected the rain on the
way back. I mean I hit some terrible, terrible rain.

(09:32):
But uh anyway, yeah, yeah, made it down to Atlantic City,
Okay for the there's a big boxing event here in
Atlantic City. It was a Hall of Fame event for
induction for New Jersey Hall of Fame. My couple of
my friends were I almost said indicted. Wow, I know
they were. They were indicted at different time, inducted, indicted
at a different time, inducted now in this New Jersey

(09:55):
Hall of Fame. And uh George Foreman, Pinklind Thomas, Roberto Duran,
A lot of a lot of big names over here,
you know that. Yeah, it's pretty cool, pretty cool, pretty
I tell you why. Roberto Durant is such a nice guy.
These these guys are the boxing game, just the old
school boxers, and they've believed it on a little bit
before me. But that era I remember being a kid

(10:18):
when you know you had Duran, you had Leonard of course, Larry, Larry,
I'm sorry, Homes the Holmes is Haggler, Duran, Leonard. Yeah,
there they were. And I met Haggler up at the
Boxing Hall of Fame in Canda Stoda, And what a
nice guy. It's a shame we lost him too young.
But a big watch I do, I do. I did

(10:39):
see Canelo last yet. You know I am a big
fight fan, but I it's very hard to bet boxing
now for me, it just is it's just so the
the the the judges are the judging has been so
bad the last decade, it seems like. But I think
it's been a problem in boxing in general for for years,

(11:00):
but the last decade it's just so hard to bet
and lay big money on a boxing event and you
know you want. There's been so many bed in my
opinion anyway, there's some close fights that have been could
have gone either way. It just seems like like Triple G.
I thought beat Kanel on one of those fights and
he didn't get it. I thought Timothy Bradley lost for
his Pacquiao and Timothy they the Bradley. There's been so

(11:23):
many but that's that's even minor ones compared to the
bigger ones that have that have happened.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
So but yeah, so yeah, Hey, by the way, Jacksonville
just went up ten to nothing. Ten about a fifty
yard field goal right there. Falcon's not looking too good here, guys.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
Crap, do you so? I am like anti wagering on
the London Games International Games. I don't know why I
feel that way, but I just and I like jackson
a lot in this game. But I just don't wager
on these international games. Do you do you take bites
on these games? I feel like, not that there's no edge,
but it doesn't really feel like there's much a wager

(12:03):
on these games. It's so much unknown that both teams
are overseas. Do you ever take pieces on these games?

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Jacksonville is pretty I shouldn't say a custom. It's always
a different staff every year. But they have played some
games over there in the past, and I think they're
actually staying. Am I right by saying this, saying they're staying?

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Yeah? Two, they're playing too. They're playing two games in
a row overseason.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
God, what do you do for a whole week over there?
The teams to get ready?

Speaker 5 (12:26):
But drinking party? I don't know, you just that's what
I would you just literally, I don't know. You just
live your life like you would, but you live it
out of a.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Hotel right right right from London girls.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Yeah, but you know it's funny. I got a text
before this game. It said Gusty wins twenty one miles
hour per hour, and I said back to them, you
can have it because I don't I need more than
just a weather report, saying gust of twenty one. I
need to go permanent, and I didn't. I didn't bite
on the under and uh, you know what, this game

(12:55):
may go under only because if it's a Jacksonville blowout,
it sure may you know, dify to not score in
the second half. It comes, but.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Isn't isn't the stadium like pretty much like a domeish
like the wind, like doesn't it come over the top
like themes over.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
The top, And yeah it does. It's not. You're right,
it's domish exactly.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
So it's not like open. I mean, it's a retractable roof.
It's showing it right now. It's a retractable roof. It's open,
but it's pretty much covering all the fans. I don't
know how the win would.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Have fact when you say retractable, does that mean can
it be a total dome?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
It looks just from the view that we just saw
the stadium that they showed on TV, it looks like
it can be covered. They just okay, but there's there's
different types of retractable stadiums. Not to get on this topic,
but like the Mariners for example, right they legit they
legitimately have like it's like a cover over a stadium.
It's not like an enclosed dome when the dome cover
gets closed, right, it's just like a top on a stadium. Okay,

(13:53):
you know, Sofi stadium is a dome stadium, but like
sort of not. It's like it's it's an open concourse, right,
Just it's like a roof on top of a stadium. Right,
But there's no like inclosed structure. This looks like like
a lot of the retractable roof places, most of them,
it looks like it's an actual If you close the roof,
it's a complete domed environment, which again is different than

(14:15):
so far different like the Mariners do it. You know,
a lot like what the Cardinals and Cowboys have. Right,
they can open the roof I think in those places,
but if they close it, it is an entire dome.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
Structure, right right to go back, or you're saying before
the game, I noticed when I was in my hotel room,
this game was getting heavily bet on Jacksonville minus three,
minus twenty five and many three and a halfs, So
there were some Jacksonville money. I kind of stay away
from that. I don't like this from a betting standpoint.
In an early game across the pond. I'd rather stay

(14:45):
here in the States and have regular time starts, and
this way I could put it into my equations if
there's maybe teaser opportunities or I know who the real
home team is not that home team means that much
as it does in college sports in the NFL. By
the way, as matter of fact, you know some of
these games, we've talked about it before, some of these
games they did there, there is no home team home

(15:05):
field advantage Vegas when they're in town. Uh even this
Chargers Vegas game today there there's will be a lot
of a lot of Raiders fans there. So a lot
of these games really aren't as strong as a as
a college game over there. Though they do have some
Jacksonville fans. I'm not I don't have the game on
or anything in the background. Maybe you guys do. You'll
see a lot of job a lot of Jacksonville hats

(15:26):
and Jersey's probably there. Atlanta, though, is the real surprise here.
You know? I know some people that that that sharp,
people that really liked Atlanta this season and said they
have a good, good season and they thought the season
wins over. They thought they're their their vision, their commun
this this is a real surprise because I thought they
were going to be better. I'm glad I didn't bite

(15:47):
on that future.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
But I mean, I mean, they're they're two and one, right,
but there are two wins are a one win, one
point win against the Packers that look the Packers look
very average, right that they look like they're gonna be
maybe aironine one team. And they beat the pan there
who absolutely stink, right, And in that game, the found
that thirteen first downs.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Well, and hey, there were a lot of people that
believed in Jacksonville. That was actually the most heavily bet
future point was that the Jags would have the most
regular season wins out of anybody.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
And I was like, I have their over. I think
I adjusted it to like ten and a half just
to get some plus money on it because the over
nine and a half was like a ridiculous price. I
think they're still going to get there. They win today,
they'll be two and two. Like they They're they're close
to being really good. They just they had We talked
about Crack before he came on. There are just some
drops on offense, just some like general lack of individual

(16:40):
breakdowns if they don't do that, their division stinks like
they're going to win a lot of games. And I
know they lost last weekend, but they're gonna go five
and one the division. They're not losing the division.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I think they're gonna have a good record when it's said,
all said and done. I don't think they're gonna have
the best record.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
I can't, No, I don't. I don't think that's gonna happen.
I mean, it's it's pretty much of Dolphins and Chiefs.
I think right now are in the running for them.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
The Dolphins going seventeen and oh.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
Jeff, oh yeah, yeah, of course. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
I think they're losing today. Actually, really, we'll talk about that.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
We'll do that.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Follow the money, real good money.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
All right, We're following the money with Christian Zippolini, BETMGM
Trading Manager. Good morning to you, Christian. Hey, let's start
with this London game. How much action did you guys
see on this game in particular compared to any other
games on Sunday did you see? How did it compare?
I guess as far as the handbool.

Speaker 6 (19:58):
Goes actually a bit surprising. I mean it was it
would have been a good a good one o'clock game.
About the amount of action. Again, sometimes it can go
back and forth at nine point thirty. Sometimes people don't
wake up in time and they don't really realize they
don't get their bet in. But we did see a
lot of action and a lot of action on the Jags.
So we're not letting this outcome right now.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
One game at one o'clock that I'm kind of fantasy
because I do like a side here. Any any action
this weekend on the Broncos Bears. You know, the Broncos
lost by fifty and are a three point road favorite
this weekend, and he kind of tells you how Vegas
feels about the Bears.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
Yeah, this was stunning too. I mean, for one, it's
just crazy to lose by fifty and then be a
three and a half point favorite on the road. But
we are seeing some Broncos action too. About fifty percent
of the bets coming in on the Broncos. Some people
will take the Bears money line. It seems like that's
where they're going. If you want the Broncos, you're taking
them on the spread and Bears on the money line.
But prized to see anyone betty the Broncos.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Hey, good morning, any any I'm looking at some movement
now on Baltimore Cleveland. Earlier in the week, we heard
that there was some you know that the quarterback, of
course is a Cleveland quarterback situation. And I seen the
movement right away down the one. Then it actually came
right bounce back right to two to two and a half,
solid two and a half. I'm seeing a little movement
now towards Baltimore. I'm just wondering is that effective. Is

(21:20):
the same thing happening in your sports book? Are you
seeing two way action? Are you seeing more Baltimore morning?
What's going on in that game?

Speaker 6 (21:27):
Yeah, I mean, I'm seeing this movement right as we're
talking right now is happening and starting to come right
back down to one. We actually just went to one
and a half. Now we're getting actually pretty close to
fifty fifty actions, So I guess that some of that
speaks to while this movement is going. Obviously some of
this is Shawn Watson. But yeah, as you said, opened
it two and a half, came back down to one,
back up to two and a half. It looks like
we're going back closer to one now.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
So yeah, back and fourth one fourth, Okay, cool Christian.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
How much action do you see on season long bets,
whether it's a season win total now that we're a
couple of weeks into this season, or season long prop
bets with individual players. Do you see some steady money
come in once we have a little bit more information here.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
We definitely see more earlier in the season, But depending
on certain teams, if they start getting hot like the
Texans or one we started seeing like to make the playoffs,
bet some of them to win their division, things like that,
they get a nice juicy price. I think the division
isn't that good. We'll get more action like that, But
the steady action usually is way more in the beginning
of the season.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
We saw the Cowboys last weekend, I would imagine making
you guys a bunch of money as they lost outright,
Is there is there a team this weekend that loses
outright as a big favorite, or maybe a team that
you know that wins but doesn't cover a teaser leg.

Speaker 6 (22:46):
Yeah, we got a few of those this week where
we have like close to eighty seventy five eighty percent
of the money on one team, so that be the Vikings.
We're getting about eighty five percent of the money there,
so we'll want the Pack or the Panthers to upset
there at home. Similar with the Bucks Saints, We're actually
not going to get a ton of action, but the
action we are getting is on the Bucks. Probably a
lot of that quarterback news Bengals and Titans. Same thing,

(23:08):
about eighty percent on the Bengals, so we're hoping the
Titans can pull that one off at home. Eagles as well,
about eighty percent on the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
What is your biggest exposure right now? Up to up
to time? Right now, what would you say your biggest
exposure is? And even going into game time, we only
have an hour and a half here, but even maybe
later on. You probably don't have too much action on
the Jets Kansas City yet, but I'm sure you will
towards game time. As of right now, though, what's your
biggest risk right now?

Speaker 6 (23:34):
It's actually what's happening now with the Jags Falcons just
because we take so much of our money closer to
the game that's closer the one. Wow, we're looking this
and we're looking to lose here. We had about ninety
percent of the money, So we're hoping that Falcons can
come back here when we get a lot closer some
of it of a pen. I think the Eagles are
going to be a big problem for us, and then
same with the Cardinals forty nine ers if we're not

(23:56):
going to get too much on the Cards either.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
He's Christian simply from BETMGM. How about this the sharp money?
Any sharp plays that you see here so far on Sunday, Yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
Mean those have gone back and forth a bit. You know,
some people have gotten their money's worth on that Brown
Ravens one that we've talked about. But I did miss
a little bit earlier in this week, so I don't
have too much to speak on there at the moment.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Are you finding willing takers on the Jets? I feel
the Jets could be a sharp play this week if
you can stomach Zach Wilson a little bit, which I
think is gonna be tough to do.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
Yeah, the public is definitely on the Chiefs for about
ninety percent of the money on the Chiefs, but we
do have a little bit more some people taking the
money line. I'd say, yeah, you're right, the Sharperst I
probably is the Jets, but that's kind of hard to
say out loud.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
I hate to send you off on a bad note here,
but Jacksonville just scored again. Thanks seventeen nothing. So I
have a bucket. I have a collection bucket. I always
stand outside the casino, so I'll make sure, but make sure.
I'll you can get there a little early this morning
and cluck some money if you guys.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
It tends to swing back your way there, Christian. You
know it tends to swing back your way to start
off on the badfoot there right there. But hey, Christian,
I'll appreciate your time. Man, go ahead, you have something
for us real quick?

Speaker 6 (25:17):
No, I just said, you know, sometimes I'll be optimistic here.
We'll put some money in people's pockets that maybe we
can get back at one o'clock.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
I'm thinking probably will somehow somebody you probably.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
Will, but it'll yeah be a miracle.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yeah, enjoy week for Chris. You catch you soon, man,
Thanks for having me there. He is Christian Cippolini treating manager.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Right with the whale to stay. The whales stays in
the casino and they just from from casino.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Right.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
The whale just stays in the casino and they eventually
get all the money back. That's what he's doing.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
They tell there was a problem. Alane rather up there knows.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
He knows that he might give away some money now,
but he'll get it back later. Why would people take
it be optimistic about a team that is led by
Desmond Ridder. I do not understand this. It's so easy
in the NFL to pick division winners. And I'm not
saying you have to lay the minus number on like
the Eagles or or or the Chiefs or something like that,

(26:15):
but like the team with the best quarterback wins every division.
Why was there this thought the Falcons or division winners
with Desmond Ridder as their quarterback. As much as I
don't like Derek Carr, he's the best quarterback in a division.
Like I don't, He's obviously out I think today, But
like I don't understand the love for that position before

(26:37):
the season.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Well, listen, I hear you. I think there's a lot
of unknown with Ridder heading in where we didn't have
like a full season of starts, and you're thinking, well,
Derek Carr is just he's okay. Could Ridder be in
the same zip code at least?

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Probably so I think that was probably the thinking heading in.
But he was awful with that pick six right there,
not even close. That's a bad high school throw?

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Is that what happened? Just now? I'm not watching the game?

Speaker 5 (27:06):
Yeah, it was a pick six crack. You have to
put on the.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
What is that on? Actually? Which station is that on?

Speaker 5 (27:13):
So the it's on NFL Plus, but then there's ESPN
Plus it's its home And there's also a Toy Story
telecast today. I don't know where that's hot, but they
animated all the characters like they're in Toy Story. Nice
Disney Plus. That's on Disney Plus.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
I'm upset at this team. This team cost me ten
thousand bucks, like real money. Last week I had a
ten plays in the Survivor pool here in Vegas. Thousand
dollars entry Jacksonville. Yeah, you have to pick twenty different
teams throughout the season's twenty weeks in order to get there,
and so at one time or another you're gonna have
to pick like a Jacksonville, and that was the best

(27:48):
spot I thought for them. And unfortunately, because there's twenty
weeks here, you picked Thanksgiving and Christmas week and they
cost me. So I'm against them the rest of the year.
So I'm just I hope bad things happen recue.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
I'm doing one that I started in week twoes. I
think I'm doing one of the ones on like online, right,
you know, one hundred bucks on one of these apps,
and I think I lost Week one and so I
re entered. No maybe I no, I think I won
Week one, but I have Jacksonville today. I took Jacksonville today.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
So you could re enter your suicide pool or slash, yeah,
survivor pool.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
On a Yeah. I did on DraftKings. Yeah, I can
play like if you lose, you just enter another one
for the rest of the season. So I lost a
hundred bucks and put another hundred on different one. I'm
just like, see how long you can go for a crack.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Yeah, it's like a poker tournament free buy.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Yeah. No, I'm not. I am not bold enough to
spend the thousand on the circle. I just I'm not
that good at.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
You know what I tell you, it's it's such a
bigger luck factor than you would think.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Seventy another interception by Ridder right back the other one,
and they just Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Is okay, he's still good. My goodness, the trigger on
a Desmond Ridder interception. I'm kicking myself that I didn't.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Wow, no, but I was saying, you know, there are
a thousand dollars an entry, nine point four million or
nine point three million in the pool. Seventy four percent
of people are out already after three weeks. Seventy four
percent of people out of the pool. Some big upsets Jacksonville, Baltimore,
Dallas last week took out a lot of the people.
So there's such a luck thing in any kind of

(29:24):
a contest, But there really is. You know. You try
to have skill and say look ahead and look at
the schedule, and honestly that the real thing to do
is just get by every week, worry about it when
that week comes. And if I only would have followed
my own advice. Now it's easy looking back at it now,
but to think like that. But anyway, you.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Know what, so we're gonna do right now, crack is
follow the advice of when Isaac Loewen Crylo you know
what I mean. He has information and life advice, all
in a tightly packaged update for us. I love what's
going on, buddy.

Speaker 8 (29:58):
Morning fellas, and I actually do have life advice for
one Desmond Ridder, don't check your mentions because right now
in London, his Atlanta Falcons trail the Jacksonville Jaguars seventeen
to nothing, four twenty left to play in the second quarter.
Jacksonville a thirty yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence to
Calvin Ridley. Brandon McManus kicked a fifty six yard field

(30:22):
goal to make it ten to nothing, and then just
a short time ago, Desmond Ridders started trending for the
wrong reasons.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
Out dear the running back straight drop, that ball's.

Speaker 7 (30:32):
Gonna be picked off drry Twayeth fifty forty five forty
ryus along the left sideline fifteen ten fuck footstone Jacksonville,
oh pick six foot Darius William.

Speaker 8 (30:46):
The call on WJXL Ritter has since thrown yet another interception,
leading to the following observations on social media, Jake posting,
I woke up at nine to Desmond Ritter, you will
pay NFL pretty ominous, John tweeting, how does an NFL

(31:06):
team waste two seasons and willingly go with Marcus Mariota
and Desmond Ritter as their quarterbacks and benchwarmer? Brand tweets
does Desmond Ridder actually think before he throws the ball?
Or is he just a poorly programmed robot anyway. NFL
Media reports rookie Aidan O'Connell will start at quarterback for

(31:26):
the Raiders today against the Chargers, with Jimmy Garoppolo out
in concussion protocol. ESPN reports the Chicago Bears benching receiver
Chase Claypool for today's game against the Denver Broncos and ENGLF.
At the Ryder Cup, Team USA trails Europe fourteen to nine,
so Europe needs just half of one more point to

(31:47):
clinch the twenty twenty three Ryder Cup.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Back to you, guys, thank you. I lo it is
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM.
You talk about just a disastrous trade break?

Speaker 5 (31:59):
Can I break breaking news? Breaking in no Dashaun Watson today,
I was reported, but interrupt.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
That could be that big move. Now they're They're actually
favorite in a couple of sportsbooks. Now, Baltimore minus one.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
You know what, we've got some extra credit from Isaac
Lohenkron right here. I love you got something else for us.

Speaker 8 (32:17):
Yeah, multiple outlets indeed just reporting NFL media reporting Deshaun
Watson not able to play today. He was working out
on the field before the game. He was seen talking
with Cleveland Brown's executives, including Andrew Berry and head coach
Kevin Stefanski. But NFL media just reporting Deshaun Watson will
not be playing today against the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Could be valuable information in the Crack Challenge. Toward the
end of the show, Jeff.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
And but what if I already have Baltimore plus three?
Do you have to take whatever they are at.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
The games three? I've never seen that line.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
There was a plus three on like drafting today. This
week was a random, like one of the one of
the days I recorded my podcast for.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
Fortunately, the Crack Challenge is the day of the day
of right, right, But that plus three, Wow.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
We had a plus three. I'm gonna make check my notes.
I think I had it plus three. Yeah, there was
a plus three I think on DraftKings on Thursday night
when I recorded my podcast.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
By the way, how's that Chase Claypool trade working out
for the Bears there with him getting bench today?

Speaker 5 (33:17):
Not great?

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Not great.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
I'll tell you some guys, you know what shocks me,
but it doesn't doesn't shock me, but it should shock
everybody else. And I hate to say it like this,
and I'm not trying to say this inside information, but
what I'm trying to tell you is when we had
the MGM, the guy on from MGM, the guy ready,
I forget his name, Chris Christian, when he was on,
and I just seen a tick on my Live ODD

(33:40):
screen and that's why I said to him that I
see this move again and he confirmed it. But in
the second time he talked to me, it was moving officially.
I gotta tell you, there's no other way to say this.
Sports betters, the inside guys, they know before anyone, before
Rappaport came on here, before anything happened with media outlets

(34:06):
across the nation. I'm look at you. There's no other
way to say it. Jimmy Viccaro, I'm a famous bookmaker
out here in Vegas. While out there in Vegas, he
once said it. He said the public. The public. Yeah,
but the sharps will let us know what's going on
with the lines first, and sure enough with the games first.
Sure enough, the sharps. They knew that first full five,

(34:26):
maybe even seven, eight minutes before it was officially announced.
Somebody knew because I seen that game move a point
point and a half, you know, instantly. And it just
even now, twenty twenty three, it never ceased to amaze me,
even though at all the different media influencers, the media
guys like rap Report and the guys on ESPN, all
these guys, it's amazing the gamblers get the info.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
I went that Twitter account instead of you know, nightly
nicely polished schefter Rapaport, and they do a great job
of Deshaun Watson is not playing today. I want Nikky
no knows, I know what you're going on like he
ain't playing? Sure, and that's it.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
I text you the other day when I got the information.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
I want the sharp to the Sharp exit camp and
throw it out there in the unvarnished way. That's what
I'm looking Crackice being nice.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
This was like this, This rumor was passed around Friday
and the gambling the Vegas text it was so this
is and then it went and then yesterday was announced
he might might play. But it's to Brian's point, I
mean to cracks point, like the sharp's always no, yeah,
well Sharp's always no. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
It was.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
It was a plus three minus one twenty. I'll take it.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
That's a hell of a line. It was just it
was pretty solid two and a half when we got
out listen last night. It was two and a half everywhere.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
I recorded my podcast at eight thirty Eastern on Thursday
night and we looked at the we looked at the
lines that were out and we got a three somewhere
and my co host was like, there's a three here,
let's get it. I was like, Okay, let's do it.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
You guys are get you bet all right.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
We've got We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran,
We've got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper.
I'm Brian no coming up next, the parlay platterer. Huh.
We each have a pick, we mush them together and
try to get a bigger payout. Let's see if we
can hit one today. That's on the way it is.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Check this out with parlay letter.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
All Right, we each have one selection. We group everything together,
make a little three leg parlay out of it. Crack.
We'll start with you, man, what do you like today?

Speaker 4 (37:04):
One of my ugly teams? If I'm forced to pick
a team, it's going to be an ugly one. Houston
versus Pittsburgh plus three points. So I think this is
a good spot for them, and after last week's big win,
you think there would be a letdown for them. But
I don't know their whole season really is. I'm actually
against them the first season wins and stuff, but I
like them in the spot with the three points. What

(37:26):
about you, guys?

Speaker 5 (37:28):
Are we only picking sides here in totals or only
sides like? What's I always forget how you want to
do the parlay here?

Speaker 1 (37:33):
I think it's either sides are totals.

Speaker 5 (37:35):
Ok.

Speaker 4 (37:35):
Yeah, that's the reason why IRESs. I would definitely use props.
Props have a better bet, for sure.

Speaker 5 (37:40):
I'm gonna go with the Jets team total under sixteen
and a half points. Mind you, the Chiefs defense has
allowed fourteen points in Game one, nine points in Game two,
and ten points in Game three. Chief defense is really good.
A couple of Zach Wilson having no confid and it's
whatsoever and is about to play quarterback and I get,

(38:03):
I get, I get over two touchdowns. Here fly with
me under sixteen and a half Jets team total.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Okay, I am that this requires a little bit of,
you know, an explanation before the pick. Normally I I
gamble on my picks here, you know, because that's one
of your pet beeves crack. You have all these people
giving out picks and they don't gamble on them. I
gamble on almost every pick. No, I'm not gonna gamble

(38:32):
on this one man against my team. Okay, I'm not
going to gamble against the Dolphins. I actually like the
Bills a lot today, and I'm gonna lay the two
and a half and.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Go, Wow, this is a shocking pick, you think so
against your Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
I like the spot wow Ruffalo. Yeah, I just think
that they just scored seventy right, like they're flying high.
The Bills defense has been better than Miami's, noticeably better
than Miami's. And I also think that the hype factor
matters here. The Dolphins are the talk of the NFL.
The Dolphins are getting all the flowers. The Bills want

(39:10):
that recognition too. So this home game after the Dolphins
couldn't have looked better last week. I think the Bills
are ultra locked in and I think they're gonna be
I think they're gonna win today. I think they're gonna
win by three. They've had the Dolphins number. Josh Allen
has been fantastic against Miami, so I think I'm getting
the better defense at home. I'll lay the two and

(39:32):
a half and go with Buffalo.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
All right, all right, I don't have a feel for
this game. I feel like you really either way, and
that's w I stayed away from this game this week.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
There's a danger obviously in picking against the team that's
as hot as Miami is. I could come back to
buy you, but I feel pretty strongly about Buffalo. Hey,
I hope I'm dead wrong. Normally I don't say I
hope I'm dead wrong and I wreck our parlay over here.
But I will make an exception, make one exception. Hey,
we're gonna dive more into that game. Miami at Buffalo

(40:05):
one of the big ones of Week four. Hang with
us here, Oh, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Everybody?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Welcome in here, Week four NFL style. We've got Jacksonville
with a seventeen to nothing lead at halftime in London
against the Falcons, and we're looking forward to the rest
of the Week four Slate, how about this the game
of the week, the Dolphins at the Bills. Bills a
two and a half point favorite right here. A lot

(40:32):
of angles in this game. One thing the Dolphins will
get Jalen Waddle, one of their stud receivers. He's back,
he's out a concussion protocol. He's healthy again. That's the
craziest thing to me from last week. The Dolphins scores
seventy points, they have over seven hundred yards of total offense,
and Jalen Wattle didn't play. He was out that game.

(40:54):
That's insane what they did to the Broncos. But it's
a much better defense against Buffalo today. And also something
else to keep in mind, sometimes your best defense is
a ball controlled offense. You've got Buffalo their time of possession,
they're a little over thirty five minutes per game. That's
third best in the NFL. So if they're able to

(41:15):
keep Tua in the high powered offense on the sideline
for the majority of the game, that's gonna help their
defense as well. What do you guys think here Dolphins
at the Bills. You like either side?

Speaker 5 (41:27):
So I don't like either side. I don't I think
this game is I mean, I guess maybe the points
with Dolphins, but two and a half isn't great. I
don't think does Buffalo have enough team speed to compete
on defense? I should say with the Dolphins offense, right,
that's my biggest question. I don't know. I don't know

(41:48):
if they If they do, I certainly think that it
is fair to say that sort of the history of
the NFL will lead you to believe that the Dolphins
offense this weekend is just not going to be as good,
right like that. Obviously it's not seventy points, but you know,
the typically is sort of a tiny bit of a
pullback after a big offensive game, Brian. But again, you

(42:12):
have to be able to me to slow down. To
slow down this Dolphins team, you got to be able
to do two things. Number one is you got to
hit to it right. You got to hit to it
and get them to be uncomfortable. And along those same lines,
you gotta be able to sort of reroute wide receivers
and run with those guys. And I'm not sure Buffalo

(42:34):
excels at any of those things to where you feel
comfortable enough to take them to win this game.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
Yeah, you know, guys, I'm looking at some current lines
and the opening when this open two to two and
a half went to three at one of the Sharper
sports books out in Vegas that actually controls the lines,
and now it's three even, which means you're laying a
dollar twenty on Miami. And you know, it may not
seem like a big deal because the total so high,

(43:03):
but that three may mean something because last year both
of these games when they went back and forth to
Miami and Buffalo literally came down to the last possession,
so that may happen here. Also, like this is really
the probably the game of the week in my eyes,
one of the games of the week if it's not.
The Bills defense leads with nine takeaways. I think I

(43:25):
read that, and so this is a really high powered
Miami offense. This will be really they looked unstoppable actually
this year. So we'll see if the Bills can keep
going with that. You know, they're there leading the takeaways here.
The defense actually looks improved from the Bills. But you know,
I'm just interested to see here what happens as far

(43:47):
as Waddle goes. You know, one of my prop guys
that I deal with, he actually there was a sportsbook
in town that has combination of rushing receiving and he
liked the over sixty one and a half yards. So
they actually we actually leaned towards the over on him
this week. So it should be a fun, a fun game,

(44:07):
fun weekend. This this really, like I said, I wasn't joking.
It was a spontaneous thing that I just didn't I
asked this question a couple of weeks ago to Brian,
I said, can you guys bet against your teams? Can
you bet against your favorite teams? So like you know,
obviously Casey, I guess with with Jeff and and Dami,
with Huey and you guys, that's good that that that

(44:28):
shows me that you could be You're qualified to be
a professional sports better going against that team.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
I mean, I mean I will take like.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
The points.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
I will take like like the I'm not doing it today,
but okay, I would take just as more of the Jets.
I mean, she's going with this game seventeen to seven
and cover the spread, crack right, Like, I mean, it's
sure like I have no problem taking the point, especially
with the Chiefs are big home favorites if they don't
cover those games a lot of times. But I just don't.

(44:58):
I don't really bet on the Chiefs less I'm taking
them as a favorite. I just you know, the Jacksonville game,
they were three point favorites on the road. Like to me,
you give them home a three points anytime, I'm taking it.
I mean they were late laying three points any time
taking it, But I will give out I will tell you,
like the Jets today. That's the only wager to make

(45:20):
on this game. If you're looking at a side crack,
you know you can't take the Chiefs here playing the
points here. But I just won't take the Jets eater though.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Yeah, I think that Listen man Miami. Most of this
year against the Chargers, the Chargers given up passing yards
to everybody this year. The Chargers have been brutal against
the past.

Speaker 5 (45:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
So the Dolphins did great in Week one. They obviously
did awesome last week against the Broncos, but sandwiched in
between was a game against the Patriots, and that wasn't
a prolific game. They scored twenty four points, but Tyreek
Hill completely held in check and Jalen Wattle played that game.
So I think about what the Patriots did that the
b might be able to do. You can bracket, you

(46:02):
can double Tyreek Hill if you want to. The Patriots
have Christian Gonzales shout out to the Ducks there, Jeff,
and he's off to a great start as a rookie.
But the Bills they've got Tredavius White, who's still a
very good cornerback. So I just don't think it's going
to be a prolific day for the Dolphins. It's certainly
not gonna be like last week. That's a once in
a generation type thing. But I just don't think it's

(46:26):
gonna be like, WHOA, look at the Dolphins. They picked
up where they left off from last week. You're just
not gonna see anything close to that consistently in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (46:36):
No, You're cutainly not. And I don't think that there
is a a stot anywhere that we can lean on
and you know, if a team moves by fifty, they
cover the next weekend. But but I think that we
do know that, you know, teams that lose by thirty
in the NFL and like that typically come back next
weekend and and you know cover games. I mean, you
know the other way around with the Broncos. But I

(47:00):
I just I don't know. I have Brian, I have,
I have feels for most games. I have no idea
how this game really Yeah, I really don't. I think
it's it's very much a coin flip. We talked to
start the show about teams that don't beat themselves, and
I think whichever team is able to not make mistakes
is going to win this game. Right, You're not going
to overcome any mistakes in this game. If you're Buffalo

(47:22):
or the Dolphins, if you're turn the ball over a bunch,
you're not going to win. If you have bad penalties,
you're not gonna win. And so I'm very curious about
just which team, you know, avoids those mistakes.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
I love Buffalo in this game, and I hate that.
I think that.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
Wow, I love. Love is a big, big four letter
word in sports betting. That's a no no. So be careful. Hey,
what you wish for?

Speaker 1 (47:46):
I break rules. I give the people's elbow rock style
to these. Don't say lock, don't say love. I'll say it,
and I'll say it loudly. I love Buffalo, huh, Yes,
I do love you.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
They do.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
Well, that's the thing. Just in a week four. I
love my Dolphins. I carry around a Dolphins wallet to
this day like I'm eleven years old. I love the
Dolphins fins up. I hope I'm dead wrong, but I
don't think I will be Desbin Ritter touchdown pass to
Drake London.

Speaker 5 (48:17):
What is I think the defense?

Speaker 4 (48:20):
Really?

Speaker 5 (48:22):
Defense? Brian, I'm kind of surprised it's not been as
good as I thought with with Fan running.

Speaker 4 (48:27):
I know it.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
Yeah, they got off to a terrible start against the Chargers.
I just got shredded by Justin Herbert. They've gotten better.
Last week was a weird game. When you score seventy, right,
you're gonna give up some passing yards to Russell Wilson.

Speaker 5 (48:42):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
The game against the Patriots was good, But how great
is the Patriots offense? They're missing Jalen Ramsey. They're just
feeling it out. They're figuring it out. But I'm like you,
I thought they'd be a lot better initially on the
defensive side with Vic Fangio, who is unbelievable as a decoordinator.
We all know that. But they're off to a slow start.
They absolutely are. They haven't. It's weird right because Jalen Phillips,

(49:09):
Bradley Chubb. They're getting heat on the quarterbacks. They's got
pressure rate. They just they're not getting home. They're not
getting sacks right now. So a bit of a ripple
effect right there. Hey, how about this other matchup here?
How about Patriots at the Cowboys? Cowboys favored by six
and a half. I didn't think we'd be talking about
Dallas needing the rebound after a loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

(49:31):
But here we are, and it just shows you how
weird the NFL is. Look at that game for the
Patriots last week they beat the Jets. The Patriots out
gained the Jets in the first half two sixteen to
thirty nine, and at the Jets had multiple chances down
by a possession to score the winning touchdown. Obviously weren't

(49:54):
able to do that. But it's just crazy how we
don't go by yards, we go by points. And in
that at fifteen to ten slugfest, the Patriots won, but
it was closer than you would think it would be
based on the yardage differential between the Patriots and Jets
last week. I want to see what the Patriots offense
can do against this Cowboys defense, because I'm not expecting

(50:15):
a ton today. They're gonna try to run it, run it.
If they have some success, some success, maybe if they're
held in check, oh boy, could be a long day
for them.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
So we talk about explosive plays in football, right, It's
something that analysts like myself and others bring up a
lot right explosive plays and the reason why explosive plays
are important to discuss both offensively than trying to stop
them on defense is it's just hard to have sustained

(50:46):
offensive drives ten twelve fourteen play drives and in touchdowns right,
and at times you just kind of need to have
that explosive play to get to down the field that
exposed to play to put you in the end zone.
You play a defense like Dallas off a bad game
against Arizona, and you're the Patriots. And really, when the
Patriots played the Jets, any good defense, they can't generate

(51:09):
enough explosive plays to put enough points on the board.
And that's what worries me today is the Cowboys defense
not playing Taylor last week, I expected them to play
better this weekend. How did the Patriots generate explosive plays?
How they puncture the Cowboys defense over and over and
over again. The answer is they don't. And that's why

(51:29):
I don't think they win this game.

Speaker 4 (51:30):
Now.

Speaker 5 (51:30):
I think the Cowboys. I actually think the Cowboys cover.
I didn't bet on this personally, guys, Cowboys off a bat,
everyone's gonna be the Cowboys this weekend. I'm not touching
that line crack, but I do think the Cowboys here
would be decided.

Speaker 4 (51:44):
I would take yeah, I liked them, I tell you no,
not that I like them. I actually liked when the
spread was seven. It opened up Sunday night seven Dallas
minus seven over New England. They were quickly the sharp
guys grabbed New England plus the sevens down to five
and half at some of the key sports books out
in Vegas right now, uh six at most spots. I

(52:06):
would lean New England here, but you'd have to get
those points though, so so the six points the seventh
giant in the NFL. So not betting the game. The
Patriots defense, as you know, they've looked okay. There they
your guy, Christian Gonzalez. I think he was the Rookie
of the Month in September.

Speaker 5 (52:25):
He was my pick for for Rookie of the Year
this year, for it has.

Speaker 4 (52:30):
Been really good. You may get you may get him.
So both defensive have has looked pretty good. So of
course the Cowboys with Nika Parsons looks really uh four sacks,
five tackles. He's uh, he really is is coming around
to be that big name now over there. And this
particular game today though, I'll tell you when I see

(52:50):
a low total. This this game opened up forty one
by the way forty one total, it's forty two and
a half, now forty three. When I see a low
total there, I immediately look towards the dog and see
how many points they're getting. And like I said, there
wouldn't be any way I would bet Dallas in this game,
and it would be it would be New England only.
But I did not bet the game. And please, people,

(53:12):
do not be teasing. Someone put a note in that
one of these chats that I was in. Don't be
teasing from six down to even You just can't. You
just can't. People tell me all the time. People say,
you know, they want to send me their teasers what
they think, and I tell them I put a tweet
up this week. You can't tease totals in the NFL.

(53:33):
You can't tease through the zero, even though there is
one guy I really respect that actually does do that
once in a while unless it's a real low total.
If you have a thirty four and you have a
team that's three and a half, now you're going to
take the other go the other way plus three and
a half, I guess I have no problem. I wouldn't
do it, but I guess I have no problem with
you doing it. But then then again, you're not going
to get a total thirty four, So I don't pay

(53:54):
because you're paying for zero, which doesn't land. I mean,
of course it can happen in overtime, but they're just
very so like I said, don't don't tease those particular things.
Someone just put in the chat here, a chat that
I'm on Dallas teasing down. Oh my god, no way,
no way.

Speaker 5 (54:12):
Would you way your patriots up or just stay away
from it.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
No, I'm not teasing. I'm not teasing up through uh
you know, I would stay away from it. But I
don't tease that way either. The only way I'll tease
is real simple. It's to take a team that's like
a two and a half or two up to plus
eight and a half. Or I'll tease a team down
today seven and a half. Right, well, now the Dolphins
has a really high total. Kind of staying away from that.

(54:36):
So I do have a teaser for for one of
my picks later on though, and I'll explain a little
bit more in detail.

Speaker 5 (54:42):
I have a so I have a teaser question crack.
I tend to not like to tease road dogs. I
much to tease the home dog if it has you know,
that's a plus whatever and getting six more points going
through key numbers, does that kind of worry you to
take like a like a Dolphins not don't focus on

(55:03):
the total, but just like a road team. I want
to tease road teams for some reason that are getting points.

Speaker 4 (55:10):
Yeah. Probably, I said earlier that the home field advantage
in the NFL is not what it is in college sports.
But I would probably rather tease a home a home
team than a road team. I agree, and like part
of my teaser leg here today is is Tennessee over Cincinnati,
Tennessee at home. Good good, good leg for a teaser.

(55:30):
Teasers really swept aboard the first two weeks in the NFL.
Last week the book makers got even with Baltimore and
Jacksonville losing outright. But yeah, so I would tend to
look at probably a home team, maybe a division game
or you know what you want to you want to
maybe those really teams that go back and forth. But
this NFL is funny, man. Look how we're talking about Jacksonville.

(55:51):
And at one point you guys said, again, I'm not
watching the game. It was seventeen to nothing. I think
there was another interception Jacksonville was going in on that
I don't know what happened.

Speaker 5 (56:00):
Too, and got wow.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
So then there you go. So the halftime seventeen nothing
after Jacksonville could have made it twenty four to nothing
or even twenty to nothing, and then here we are.
It's actually a game.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
Now the NFL.

Speaker 5 (56:13):
It's the NFL.

Speaker 4 (56:14):
It is a touchdown from Atlanta, and they cover the
game plus a three and a half of it. You know,
just uh, it's it's the NFL. Man, it's it's so
tough to beat side.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
So there we go, very quickly, way, very quickly.

Speaker 4 (56:26):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (56:26):
I know Crack has never done this. But there was
an old offshore website that no longer exists that had
like sixteen point teasers. Did you ever throw throw throw
some money, Brian on some of those like sixteens at
thirteen point was thirteen points.

Speaker 4 (56:38):
It was like, yeah, there were a third point. They
could have been thirteen point. Maybe that's why they don't exist.
By the way, some of those sites, some of those
offshore sites, you may think you always have a.

Speaker 5 (56:50):
Very that's why it doesn't exist. They don't have an
owner anymore.

Speaker 3 (56:53):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (56:54):
It was a thirteen point. I would sometimes play like
a ten team thirteen points for ten dollars. Like there's
some ridiculous teaser on NFL Sunday.

Speaker 4 (57:04):
Yea, some of those sites that they don't put the
math in things. Listen, there's still some sights out there.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Boy, it sounds so easy.

Speaker 4 (57:12):
And just one day talk about sits out there.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
About the Cowboy Dallas last week, they're favored by about
thirteen and lost by about that same amount. You know
what I mean, it's crazy.

Speaker 5 (57:23):
Oh yeah, No, there's a reason why they have the
sportsbooks have you know, have have built towers around their properties.
It's not because I'm winning a bunch of thirteen point teasers,
but I have done. I have thrown some shackles before
down on. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (57:36):
Yeah, I want to tell you something, guys. There's still
some sports books out there that offer three team six
point teasers plus a dollar eighty. That's a very good
plus a dollar eighty. That's a very good price. There's
one right here in Atlantic City that offers three team
six point teasers plus a dollar seventy. It's actually a
very good bet. That's a very good bet around the

(57:57):
key numbers. Yes, we're doing the show live from Atlanta
City next week. Actually, as it turns out, all right.

Speaker 5 (58:03):
Most of the most of the teasers are going to
be what the threeteen teaser is going to be the
minus one twenty right six, This is.

Speaker 4 (58:12):
A six point so this is a special one that
it's it's not a seven point teaser. And you don't
want though. I see them plus a dollar forty so
dollar thirty, but they have it, so you like it
used to be a dollar eighty dollars seventy here in
town in Atlantic City, I know one, I know some
that and all, like you said, in other places that
are plus a dollar eighty. So just do your shopping

(58:33):
and that's that's it's really almost You don't have to
know who's playing, that's right. Imagine this. You don't have
to know who's playing you. Just he's down. That's the
key favorites, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
This prop it up player plays?

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
Ah, yes, so many prop possibilities were starting with you
crack with something that you like a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Let's go with uh looking about Mike going here? All right?
The Patriots Stevenson under rushing yards to play?

Speaker 8 (01:00:24):
Well?

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Can I give out two to you guys right now? Yeah,
let's give let's give you about this might be a
bad matchup here. Uh might split the work here with
with Elliott. So I think Stevenson under and also I'm
gonna give you one the Ravens Jackson over rushing yards. Now,

(01:00:45):
I'll tell you I think that he's gonna have a
lot of yards today. I think he's gonna be in
situations where he's gonna be running around and then some
maybe some design plays. It looks like such a square
play Baltimore over rushing yard, you know for the are
But I like that one probably a little bit better.
So there you go. You have Do you guys have
two for me this first round?

Speaker 5 (01:01:07):
Go like all right, let me let me pull up
one right here on the bet MGM website. You know
that I very much enjoy betting unders for quarterbacks, and
they hit a lot of times. And I go with
this every single week, Baker Mayfield on the road under
two hundred and sixteen point five passing yards. As I

(01:01:28):
told you guys last week, we talked about this. The
Bucks offenses for kay Zy like they're just they're not
any good. They beat a Vikings team that is having
some bad lucky into games. They beat the Bears who
have basically just quit on football. The Saints defense is
really good, as Brian knows this very well, and our
long but much was forty to five hundred dollars now

(01:01:49):
and then let me use it. So I go Baker
Mayfoot under here, I have Zach Wilson under I think
it's one hundred and seventy something yards. Don't bother me, yeah,
under one seventy one and a half. Those two I
like today.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Okay, I am. There are so many things that I
like over here I am gonna go with. I don't
know if this is from the Sharp's handbook. I can't
imagine that it is crack, but it's a prop bet
that I love Josh Allen, the Bills quarterback. He hasn't
been running a ton. I think this is one of
these special matchups in division game against Miami, who's been

(01:02:25):
red hot. I think that he throws caution to the
wind a little bit more today. His longest rush is
set at thirteen and a half. He's gonna have a
rush for at least fourteen yards today. Wow, it is,
It's gonna happen. I'm avoiding lock guarantees anything like that.

(01:02:48):
Crack okay, meeting you halfway as an Olive Brown, all right,
but it is happening. I'm sorry. He's gonna rush for
at least fourteen yards on one of these carries. I
like Josh Allen's longest rush to be at least teen
yards today. I think you are you are?

Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
You know the Bills today?

Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
Man? Wow?

Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
Yeah, I don't like that as a diehard Dolphins fan,
but I'm telling you, I watch the Dolphins closer than
any NFL team I know. And yeah, that's what I
feel today.

Speaker 4 (01:03:16):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
I feel stronger about Josh Allen's longest rush attempt than
I do the Bills covering the two and a half,
and I feel strongly about the bills covering that is.

Speaker 5 (01:03:26):
There a uh. I don't think markets are made this
way where it's like you can't bet quarterback turnovers, right,
you bet quarterback interceptions?

Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I've got Baker Mayfield throwing a
pick today.

Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
No, No, I'm saying, can you bet like overall turnover,
like if they fumble or if they.

Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
Josh Allen bet fumbles. Yeah, Josh Allen's.

Speaker 5 (01:03:45):
Gonna have some yolo plays today. Like if it's like,
can I bet on him fumbling the ball or and
or interception? I would take the over in that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah, I've got Baker. You mentioned Baker Mayfield. I've got
him throwing an intersect. It was a great stat on
Baker where this is his fourth game of the season.
He's had at least multiple interceptions every year in the NFL.
Through Week four, he only has one thus far, and
you think about that against the Saints, Saints at home,

(01:04:16):
very good defense. I expect him to be under pressure
a couple of times, maybe something fluky, like a tipped
pass at the line of scrimmage. He's not the tallest
six to six Trevor Lawrence type guy. I think Baker
throws a pick today. I also think that Justin Herbert,
who's protected the football. I don't see the Raiders forcing
an interception today against Justin Herbert, But that's a lot

(01:04:38):
of juice on the know. As far as the interception
prop with Justin Herbert, I know, crack, you're just a
prop machine. What else do you like today? Anything else that's.

Speaker 4 (01:04:46):
Been I think that's Listen, I've got a ton of props.
But I think that's the two that I focused in
on for the show that I'm wanting to give away
right now, and later on I will have. I think
I'm going to put something else in my correlated parlay
that I build up for the show, the same game parlay.
But yeah, no, I'll tell you. Props this year, though,

(01:05:07):
aren't on the pace. I have had ridiculous, ridiculous seasons
betting NFL props, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
Up.

Speaker 4 (01:05:14):
I don't want to say the word seventy percent, but
it's been over sixty percent, and props aren't on pace
this year to compete with that. It's a it's getting
tougher and tougher to win in the NFL. Now, I'm
not losing at them, but I'm not winning at them,
So which is very unusual after three weeks. Normally the
bookmakers are hiding under the beds Monday morning from me,
So can.

Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
I give you one more?

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:05:35):
Then, actually I did this the other day on So
Matt Stafford his rushing his rushing props, it is five.
I got five and a half plus one hundred. Okay,
he's actually rushed for thirty five yards this season because

(01:05:58):
the Rams offensive line is not as good and so
he's kind of sort of having to to find ways
to just like scramble later in downs later in games.
He's rushed for eleven, seventeen and seven yards so far
in games this season. I kind of like that it's
five and a half. And of course, the issue you
always run into these low quarterback totals is if you

(01:06:20):
bet the the over and they have a couple niels
to end the game, is sure to get killed and crushed.

Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
No, it doesn't kill you there anymore. I don't think
it counts against you now.

Speaker 5 (01:06:28):
Oh, I don't think anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Yeah, I don't believe so. No, it happened with Mahomes
and the Super Bowl, and I don't think that's the
way it is anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
I don't. I could be wrong about how they I
know that's the way it is in college. That's what
I'm thinking of.

Speaker 5 (01:06:41):
Well, this is rushing, not passing, so like.

Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
I mean, that's what I mean. Is it's weird in college.
That's probably what I'm thinking. The kneel downs in college
don't count against a rushing prop.

Speaker 4 (01:06:52):
For a quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
Okay, I think they might be in a case in
the NFL.

Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
I think in the NFL, you're so what you're saying,
like the end of the game taken in THEE losing
right two yards off their rushing yards.

Speaker 5 (01:07:01):
Because it might be it's if Stafford gets game seven
yards and they take a one kneel, I lose the wager. Basically, gosh,
you know what I mean. Like, so, I do think
this is kind of sneaky one where he has been
rushing more this season than ever before. He has thirty
five yards rushing, which is more than he had all
of last season. And again this is a very targeted
wager obviously right for something specific to the Rams offensive

(01:07:23):
line and the shuggles they've had. But he says he
has thirty five yards rushing. He had nine last season.
He had forty three yards total in twenty twenty one.
So I think it's a good spot five and a half.
I'll get plus one hundred. I'll do it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Okay, I want to throw something else here your way
here in a second. But I'll tell you what I'm
throwing Isaac Loewenkron your way right there, like a frisbee.

Speaker 4 (01:07:44):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:07:45):
He's a little I low here, fetch, fetch, here's the milo.
I low with the latest, the weirdest toss I've ever had.
I loo, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:07:53):
Man?

Speaker 8 (01:07:53):
No? But even then, you unknowingly did it brilliantly, because
what do you do with a frisbee?

Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
Do you toss it?

Speaker 6 (01:08:00):
There? You go?

Speaker 4 (01:08:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:08:01):
Speaking of tossing things, Atlanta quarterback Desmond Ritter hasn't had
a good time tossing things today against the Jacksonville Jaguars
in London, because, with fifty three seconds left in the
third quarter, the Jaguars lead Ridders Falcons seventeen to seven,
thanks in part to a sixty one yard pick six

(01:08:22):
of Desmond Ridder by Jacksonville's Darius Williams. However, Ritter did
come back early in the third quarter with a fifteen
yard touchdown pass to Drake London to get the Falcons
on the board, and everyone on social media is just
freaking out because Drake London caught a touchdown pass in London.

Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Yay.

Speaker 8 (01:08:41):
Anyway, They're going to the fourth quarter seventeen to seven,
the Jaguars over the Atlanta Falcons. Back on this side
of the pond, a really busy morning already. Cleveland Browns
quarterback to Shaun Watson inactive against the Ravens because of
a shoulder injury. Rookie Dorian Thompson Robinson will start in
his place, and guys a positive resolution to a scary story.
Cleveland tight end David Nijoku is active for today's game

(01:09:06):
after suffering burns to his hands and face in a
household accident Friday night when he was trying to light
a backyard fire pit. And get this, Najoku arrived at
the stadium today wearing a hockey mask and a fur
coat with no shirt elsewhere. Bears receiver Chase Claypole a

(01:09:26):
healthy scratch against the Broncos. NFL media also reporting rookie
Aiden O'Connell will start a quarterback for the Raiders today
against the Chargers. Jimmy Garoppolo out due to a concussion.
And finally, Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift update. Here's the latest
Chiefs visiting the Jets. Tonight and last night, Taylor Swift
was spotted dining at a Lower Manhattan Italian restaurant with

(01:09:50):
a group that included Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs
quarterback Patrick Mahomes, while The Daily Mirror of London reported
that earlier Saturday evening, Kelsey briefly visited Swift's Manhattan apartment.
Paparazzi spotted Kelsey wearing a T shirt that read and
I quote, I'm not doing bleep today. Mission accomplished unquote.

(01:10:13):
Kelsey was then transported back to the Chiefs team hotel.
On a related note, a Taylor Swift fan commented on
the picture of Kelsey and I quote, look how nervous
he is about meeting her cats. Meeting her cats is
more important than meeting her friends unquote. So that's first
rate analysis right there. Finally, guys in golf, Europe has

(01:10:34):
won the Ryder Cup, defeating Team USA sixteen and a
half to eleven and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
Back to you guys, very good ilo it is Fox
Sports Radios countdown to kickoff presented by Bett MGM. I
just noticed that Dorian Thompson Robinson. Well, obviously he's starting
in place of Deshaun Watson. But his passing yardage prop. Bet,
I don't know if this is right up your alley here, Jeff.
You know you followed the PAC twelve. You know dtr

(01:11:00):
very well. I had a very good season with UCLA
last year and a good career there. His passing yardage
prop is at one ninety and a half. What do
you think in his NFL debut against the Ravens one
and a half?

Speaker 5 (01:11:14):
Yeah, I go I go under here. He had a
good preseason. Yeah, so you have to weigh that versus
now you're getting your first NFL start against the Ravens defense,
you know what I mean. Like it's it's a little
different animal than the preseason. So I would I would
go I go under here. I think I'm not wager
on this one, but I would I go under here. Yeah,
there's too much unknown to I think sometimes to wager

(01:11:35):
on like one like this, Like I just, I just
I already have the Ravens with a good number. I'm
good just hanging out with that good number.

Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
Yeah, Yeah, I've got a couple others here real fast.
Uh well, I'll do it right around the corner because
we've got crack same game parlay and a little bit
more on the props here. We'll just have a little
round table conversation.

Speaker 4 (01:11:56):
It's a big major line movement just now. I hate
to always interrupt you guys.

Speaker 1 (01:11:59):
Oh it's here.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
Whenever I see a major line MO would mean some
a full point or more. Surprising, this one Miami Buffalo
game under fifty three and a half just got hit
down to fifty two and a half. First half also
got hit. I just thought that even though the line
the line opened up fifty three and a half. I
really thought the public was just going to push this
game up even higher. I surprised to see it here

(01:12:22):
an hour before game time hour and change here to
see it go so much lower. So I find that
pretty interesting, especially after last week's big, you know, Miami
offensive blow you know blowout. I thought it would maybe
go a little high.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
I need a sound effect for that.

Speaker 5 (01:12:36):
We need this, We need it was an audio imaging
for when Crack house okay.

Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
For now on like a major line move just like
a lightning crackle something something.

Speaker 4 (01:12:46):
There's been a couple since we went on air New
Orleans over Tampa. Moved a full point at some spots.

Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Derek Carr is going to play today, that's.

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Why, right, okay, act playing gotcha? And the next one,
of course, the first one when we had on our
boy from MGM, that was a that's a giant move.
Now that's my minus two. That move three and a
half four points since we've been on air Baltimore over
Cleveland because of the confirmation there, and this Miami game

(01:13:16):
is another major move on the total, which kind of
shocked me because I just thought that the public was
going to push it over. I would lean to the
under there, by the way, but I was looking for
even more points because think about it, no one's who's
betting under after last week's ninety point game involving Miami.
People just aren't They just remember what happened last week.

(01:13:39):
They don't realize that this line shouldn't be that high.
Probably they think, you know, my god, Buffalo Miami think
about the offenses, but they don't really consider the defenses
here too. So I just find found that interesting. So
we'll work on that little sound clip though for next week.

Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
I like that, Yeah, yeah like that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (01:13:58):

We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran former duck.
We've got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper,

(01:14:22):
and I'm Brian though. We've got Jacksonville up seventeen to seven.
We're in the fourth quarter, just under twelve minutes to
go in that one, as the Jags have the ball,
looking for more points, looking to hold on. Coming up next,
it's Cracked, Same game parlay. We'll get his thoughts on
what's correlated in his mind today. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is Fox

(01:15:28):
in the betmgm app. Jacksonville up twenty to seven, now
under nine minutes to go. Jags hit a field goal,
so we'll keep you updated on that. Let's dive into.

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
This six same game parlanks.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Okay, crack, you've been in the lab. You've cooked up
a parlay. I know it's correlated. What do you have
for us?

Speaker 4 (01:15:50):
Ben Hey, and we hit ours. We hit last week,
so that was good. These same game parlays are tough
to win. Let's we got a three teamer same game
parlay here. Let's go with the money line on the
Ravens coupled with Lamar scoring not scoring I mean, you know,
having a really good game here, hopefully Jackson over thirty
four and a half rushing yards, also over one hundred

(01:16:11):
and seventy four and a half passing yards. So one
hundred gets you three hundred and seventy bucks. That's one
hundred dollars risk gets you two hundred and seventy back
plus your one hundred, three hundred and seventy so plus
two point seven to zero. And yeah, I think this
is a good line move here. We'll see what happens.
And I'm just betting. So that's a money line. Just

(01:16:32):
remember that's the money line, Baltimore. No points there you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Go, yeah, there it is. Yeah, man, thirty four and
a half. I know you tinkered with the rushing total
right there, but hey, you think about how banged up
the Ravens running backs are, right, I'd like that. I
like him getting to at least thirty five. I know
the you can you can change the numbers on those
same game parlays. What is it for the actual prop

(01:16:57):
right now? For Lamar? I know it's in the forties.

Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
Yeah, I think it's forty. It's forty nine and a half,
forty six and a half. Hold on forty four and
a half. Forty four and a half. And you know what,
this game is really an overreaction to as far as
the I'll tell you what, I'm actually tempted. This game
was went down so much. It's thirty eight at some
of the sportsbooks out in Vegas. Boy, this opened up
forty two to move four points down to thirty eight

(01:17:22):
by accident. You understand by accident games go over. There's
so many defensive things that can happen, some breakaways, some
new guys in the game. Boy, that really seems like
a low low for these two teams. But again, I
didn't bet it, so you know, when it was twenty
and a half the first half, I actually was out
in Vegas and trying to bet some under. I just

(01:17:45):
missed the under twenty and a half. So listen, it's
not what I like, what I love. It's all about
what the number is. Both sides of a game can
be right. I know it sounds crazy, there's sides of
a game that I can like. Plus three. I'll use
a teaser rides of a game like tomorrow Night's Giants game. Well,
the Giants are playing Seattle, either team that's favorite one

(01:18:05):
and a half. I want to bet the underdog in
a teaser you follow, so plug going through the key numbers.
Both teams could be right not betting in the same parlay,
but both teams can be right. It's all about the numbers.
It's nothing to do with any allegiance to any team.
I couldn't care about any any of them.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Yeah, all right, we've got a previews colore coming up.
We'll go through a bunch of the games, including this one.
Which team slow start gets even slower after today? That
is on the way. Hang with us here, Oh, what's
going on everybody? Hope you're enjoying your Sunday. Here we've
got ball going on already. JAG's up twenty to seven

(01:18:44):
and Ergonna Cruz I think long pass interference penalty. I
got aj Terrell on Calvin Ridley. So yeah, we're Jags
are looking good. Up twenty to six right now, under
five minutes to go, but we are fired up for
the rest of week four. Over here, how about this
matchup gentlemen Bengals at the Titans. Both teams are one

(01:19:06):
and two, so both teams off to slow starts. The
loser gets off to a slower start after a week
four here, I don't know what's up with the Titans.
You think about this might be a little bit unfair,
but think about it. They lost their final seven games
last season, They've lost two of three this season. They've
lost nine of ten under Mike Vrabel, And you might say, well,

(01:19:29):
you know, they didn't have their quarterback last year. They
got Ryan Tannehill now and they got smacked twenty seven
to three against the Browns last week. As the Bengals
are trying to find their footing after that zero to
two start, they get that win at home against the Rams.
Can they string two of them together after beating the
Titans today? I mean, I just I don't know what

(01:19:51):
has happened to this Titans team, but I just don't
have faith in them. What do you guys think about this?

Speaker 5 (01:19:57):
Well, what's happened to their team is they don't have
a good quarter back and then home a good offensive line,
and so it's hard to operate a successful offense when
you don't have those two things operating at a high level. Brian,
I think their defense continues to be really, really good,
and so that that's what keeps them in games. I
really do like the Titans though today Guys, you know,

(01:20:17):
I don't know how much you put into, you know,
the historical data when it comes to some of these
coaches that covers big dogs. Mike Rabel is one of them,
John Harbaugh, I know the game is not He's not
an underdog now, is Like I think I saw fifty
one and thirty as a head coach as underdog or
some some crazy number like that. That might not be
all these coach eighty games underdog, but I forget what

(01:20:38):
the stat was. But like, it's just the the idea
of betting against Mike Rabel in this spot really bothers me, right,
because he is so good in these situations, just with
his with the physical defense, with the way that they
play at home, with just doing enough offensively, and with
Joe Burrow not being one hundred percent. Joe Burrow can't
do the things he wants to do. And when you're

(01:20:59):
playing it to Titans defense like that, you just you
can't be deficient on offense and go and win against
his Titans team.

Speaker 4 (01:21:08):
Yeah, you know, this is really a good spot for Tennessee.
I actually like them too. I like them in teaser legs,
teasing through the key, numbers of three and seven and
being such a low total of forty one. Like I said,
you can bring Tennessee up through three through seven to
like eight and a half, which I actually like. And
even though they have struggled when you hear all those losses,

(01:21:32):
so wow, I'm going back to last season. Wow, there's
still a top five team against the run, only giving
up sixty nine yards a game. So it just I'm
hoping that that's what happens today. You know, I don't
really look at the trends too much. I don't like
going back previous seasons with previous squads, but Cincinnati really

(01:21:52):
has dominated Tennessee over there over the years.

Speaker 5 (01:21:54):
I mean, go ahead, I actually have it right here,
Harbaugh's underdog fifty four thirty four and three against the
spread like that, like that, you know, look at trends
like that crack when you look at some of the
handicapp like it's kind of a not the be all
end all about why you would wage on a team,
but the idea of like.

Speaker 4 (01:22:13):
Well, and now that you go to a coach or something,
and you go to like somebody more than a player,
maybe yeah, maybe more than more than just a you know,
a team itself and maybe maybe they just get up.
For certain, he just gets them up for you know,
tight knick games, real close, old fashioned and grind them
out type of games. So hopefully that happens today with

(01:22:35):
a low toll. This is a big game for Since,
for Since he too, whom I kidding definitely after their
start to the season, so and uh and Burrow though
he did have a comeback here.

Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
I want to see if Burrow can get it going
with t Higgins because t is off to a really
slow start, only one hundred and ten receiving yards through
three games, and that Titans pass defense has been very iffy.
Yeah does so I want to see if a tea
can get going. And that's the thing with the Titans, man,
Like they were a one seed not that long ago.

(01:23:08):
We're talking a couple of years ago, with Tannehill as
their quarterback, you know what I mean. Like, so for
them to be this bad over the last ten games
is striking to me because it's not like they downgraded
from I don't know, they went from Josh Allen and
now Zach Wilson's their new quarterback. And you're like, oh, well,

(01:23:28):
that makes a lot of sense. Tannehill's still there, you know,
and I know that offensive line isn't as good as
it once was, but to lose nine of ten under
Mike Rabel is still startling to me.

Speaker 4 (01:23:41):
It is.

Speaker 5 (01:23:42):
But again I go back now that they cover all
those games by the way, which is wild because it's
just the way they play, right, But yeah, I mean
it goes back to the idea of they built their
roster around a running game. We're watching a team right
now and the Falcons who built their roster around a
running a running game, and that's not a winning formula

(01:24:04):
in the NFL in twenty twenty three, right, and they
drafted Milik Willis who has not been obviously very clearly
not the guy they drafted will will Levis will see,
you know, very clearly, and he started showing right now,
so not ready yet. These are all things I think
that really hinder the ability for the Titans to do
a lot of things offensively. And their offensive line sticks,

(01:24:26):
as I mentioned, they just have not been very good.
Now they get the right they get their right tackle
back off suspension. The NFL changed the gambling balls.

Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
And so he comes back off suspension. So maybe that'll
be a boost for their offensive line. He won't play
this week. I think next week he's back.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
How crazy is that? Yeah, with petite Freer, the Lions
get Jamison Williams back, their wide receivers.

Speaker 5 (01:24:48):
And having the fantasy team just waiting waiting to come back.
The NFL did the right thing here. This was the
right decision to make. You know. They didn't feel like
they were very clear with the rules beforehand. Now everyone
knows it's very simple. If you're a NFL player, you
can't wager in the NFL. We know that already. Those
those punishments are becoming harsher, which I believe is the
correct thing to do. And then if you wager in

(01:25:10):
the facility, you get two games the first time for
the second and six I think the third time.

Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
Yeah, that's the deal where if you wager on your
own team two years, you're out. If you wager on
any NFL team, any other one, it's a one year deal.
And like you just said, Jeff, if you're at the facility,
it's two games, which I think, Listen, they did the
right thing reducing that. I don't think that makes any
sense whatsoever. If I don't know if Jamison Williams is

(01:25:38):
on his bet MGM account in the practice facility and
he's betting on an NBA game. Who cares. I don't
know why the NFL police is that.

Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
I think the idea is, like, you'd rather just not
have them wager at all the facility, right, because you know,
if you open up a sportsbook app in the facility,
you know it. Probably they probably would just rather than
not wait, you're all in the facility, just to say,
hey man, we're just not wagering facilities. We're just not
doing it.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
Who would ever know? Who would ever know? If they
know a lot of.

Speaker 4 (01:26:08):
House mouse is out there. Yeah, there's a lot of
house mouse rats are all around. Trust me, they know.

Speaker 1 (01:26:14):
It, sus. But again, who's going to care? That's the
other part of this is breaking like, oh hey, uh,
Jamison Williams was betting on the NBA Finals. It's like, great,
good for him. I hope he had the winning side.
Just remember that.

Speaker 5 (01:26:29):
The NFL cares about one thing more than anything else.
That's the integrity of the game, right, It's very paramount.

Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
They're gonna say money, okay, well yeah, but.

Speaker 5 (01:26:38):
The integrity of the game. Part of that is they're
able to earn money, and you're not going to earn
money as much money as everyone thinks. The games are fixed, right,
So any sort of idea the gambling is involved with players,
they I don't think they even want that out there, right,
They don't want that image out there. And so I'm
just telling you how they I think they look at
these and that's where I think that why the penalties

(01:27:00):
are what they are.

Speaker 1 (01:27:02):
I get me.

Speaker 4 (01:27:03):
I'm more concerned about if the people believe it or not, guys,
this is the way I have to think. I'm more
concerned about the guys that are in the sports books,
in the facilities of the sports books wagering believe it
or not, then the player is wagering. I'm more concerned
about if I put a bet in with somebody, are
they looking at my bets and betting it much? By
the way, I've had multiple problems with multiple sports books

(01:27:25):
putting bets in somewhere and then other sportsbooks would mysteriously
move beyond coincidence, by the way, on that same thing.
So and you when I'm talking about a small market stuff,
So if I've had a prop at one sportsbook, I'm
going to bet at four or five, I want to
get down a lot of money, and all of a sudden,
i'd see it move at other sports books. I hate
when that happens, but it happens. Let me tell you something,

(01:27:46):
It happens at most of the sports books. Just think
about it. If you're working in a sportsbook in a
risk department looking at wagers come in. You know there's
a winning player like Bill Krachenberger coming in betting, you
for sure are you'd want to bet those bet yourself
and make a little bit extra money, no matter how
much they pay you. That bothers me more than I

(01:28:07):
know it shouldn't than the integrity of the game. But
I just think that's sometimes a little bit overblown. Listen, well,
all these guys make it that these these teams are
making a ton of money in all these different leagues.
Thank god the sports betting left field, center field, right field.
I see ads for you know, Yankee Stadium. All that's
the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:28:25):
That's how it worries about. Yes, they're in bed with
these sports books, they have multiple partnerships with them. And okay,
I get my players. You can't bet on your team,
you can't bet on any NFL team makes all the
sense in the world. If you're betting on the MLB playoffs,
that doesn't compromise the integrity of any NFL game at all,

(01:28:46):
not even a little bit. So it makes no sense
to me, whether you're doing it at the facility or not.
I think the NFL is just making it harder on themselves.
But whatever, Like they can obviously see, a six game
suspension is way overboard if you're betting on a non
NFL game, even if it is at the facility. That's
why they reduced it to two games. It should be

(01:29:07):
no games. It makes no sense. They're going in the
right direction. But if they're like, oh, hey, if this
guy's betting on a premier league soccer, that compromises the
integrity of this NFL game, No, it doesn't. It doesn't
at all. It's silly. It's a silly stance by the NFL.

Speaker 5 (01:29:27):
God, I gee what you're saying. I'm just telling you
what the how the NFL is going about it?

Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
Yeah, no, I hear you. Man, Hey, real fast, how
about Washington at Philly? Philly looking to move to four
and oh their eight and a half point favorites. Here,
Philly's defense against Tampa last week. They held Tampa at
a one hundred and seventy four yards on offense. I
don't know how you guys feel about Philly where I
think most of the games we look at Philly and

(01:29:51):
were like, well, it's not quite as good as last year.
The defense against the Patriots in Week one, and I
don't know about this passing. It feels like we're holding
Philly to this really high standard after a Super Bowl
appearance and winning fourteen games. What do you guys think
about Philly so far this season?

Speaker 5 (01:30:11):
Well, they lost two coordinators. I think we're seeing a
little bit at an offense just quite not as good now.
The bar is so high for them, right, guys, it's
so high that their standard is different than I think
we hold other teams to. But it's just not been
as crisp as we've seen in other years. And I
think Washington gives this offense a little bit of trouble
because of their ability to rush the passer and really

(01:30:31):
play well on defense. Right, we saw last year that
scored four points in a win in Week three that
was a Carson Wentz led team, and then Taylor Heineke
beat them. We know later in the season. I think
it was a primetime game. Washington just kind of presents
them some issues and Washingt got blown out last week.
I think they're going to be played better this week.
I have the Commanders plus plus nine here. I do

(01:30:53):
think they keep this game much closer than we saw
them play last weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Yeah, I hear.

Speaker 4 (01:30:58):
You know, Jeff said they lost both to their coordinators.
And in the first two games it really showed they
looked terrible. They were just even though they they squeaked by,
they didn't look good to me at all. And last
week they really showed that they were that super Bowl
team of the previous year. So, uh, there's a you know,
they're they're usually a good first half team, and I

(01:31:21):
looked at that game. I almost pulled a trigger on
Philadelphia minus six per first half. But you know, it's
real tough me laying points in the NFL on anything.
Even though it's a powerhouse teams, this is still a
division rival. And you know, the Commanders still have a
really decent defense that giving up the I shouldn't say

(01:31:42):
decent defense, it just something like Jeff said, something smells
here for Jeff to take that nine points. The Eagles
should definitely, uh, you know, be the big favorite here.
I talked about this in the preseason on our first show,
I think of the year or how a Philadelphia minus
six and a half was? I think that was minus

(01:32:03):
six and a half. I said it would go off
more than that. That was a good pre flop number
a month away, which it did. So I can't go
against that now and take Washington, even though it would
be a good middle minus six and a half plus nine,
there's actually some nine and a half's out there. Wow,
she just seems boy if this game yeah plus ten
minus twenty. I would really be looking to take some

(01:32:24):
of the dog here though, But anyway, should be, A
should be, A might be a tighter game, like Jeff says,
I'm actually hoping it is now that I didn't take
Philadelphia first half.

Speaker 1 (01:32:33):
Well, Philly's pass defense thirty first in the NFL right now,
allowing a lot of yardage. Avonte Maddox gone for the
season with a torn pack. I want to see if
Washington they've done a terrible job of protecting Sam Howell.
He's been sacked nineteen times to Yeah, that's the that's
the rough part of it is, can you give Sam

(01:32:56):
some time, and he's got to help that offensive line
out too times. The Olds onto the ball way too long.
But it's got to be both Sam and the Old
line keeping though that really solid D line from the
Eagles away from him. So that's not the best. But
it's a divisional matchup. As you guys are saying, if
I get north of a touchdown in a divisional game,

(01:33:20):
it's really hard for me to lay those points. So
I hear you guys on that.

Speaker 3 (01:33:24):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. We've got
Bill Krachenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian
know plenty more games to get to coming up next.
Are we overreacting to a big time injury. It's Fox
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is

(01:33:45):
Fox Sports Radios count Down to Kickoff presented by bet MGM,

bet MGM, you've got the Browns as a home underdog
there plus a point and a half against the Ravens.
Here note Deshaun Watson, Dorian Thompson Robinson is in his
first NFL start. Some shops Cleveland's a two point underdog,

(01:34:30):
so the line has moved quite a bit. Simple question,
is this an overreaction? The Ravens are a very banged
up team, and I know this is DTR's first start,
but you see this in the NFL all the time.
You're just like, oh, their quarterbacks out fade them, and
a lot of times it blows up in your face.
What do you think about DTR and the Browns, whose

(01:34:51):
defense has been fantastic thus far. What do you think
about the chances that Cleveland wins this game?

Speaker 5 (01:34:59):
Well, so Cleveland's have rely on their defense has been
superb right, been fantastic. They're gonna have to try to
find ways to slow down Baltimore's offense, which which wasn't
really great last weekend at home against the Colton, so
I think they will bounce back a little bit. Well,
the rights on the Browns defense. The Browns defense is
able to kick butt, force turnovers. I think they're gonna

(01:35:19):
be okay if if they can't. And you're along on
dtr to be your team, your points, you're moving, moving
the ball on the field. No Nick Chubb, no Deshaun Watson.
So the Browns defense can certainly carry the day. I mean,
they're they're they've they've been that good this season. But
I'm you know, I'm not quite sure that you know, we'll,
we'll you know that that's enough to win this game?

Speaker 4 (01:35:43):
You know? I I wrote some notes down about this
game because this is before the line was moving, because
I actually liked Baltimore and a teaser which you cannot
play no more since we've came on air, and now
that it's actually pretty solid too across the board one
and a half a bet MGM, like you said, but
you make some good points here, like is this overreaction
now that it's moved so much? Listen to the Browns defense.

(01:36:07):
They've been amazing so far this season. They ranked number
one against the pass, only giving up an average one
hundred and twelve yards per game, passing yards per game.
So this you know this, this is it is, It's
it's a tough spot with Baltimore too. I know you said,
you're right there. They're down some guys. I did like

(01:36:27):
them because it's such a low total on the teaser side. Again,
maybe this is one of those games where both sides
or that Cleveland, you can tease that through the key
numbers at home through three and seven. Although I did
not go the way I took the Baltimore route, So
don't forget now, they haven't really faced a quarterback like Lamar,
who's second in the NFL completion rates at seventy three

(01:36:51):
percent this year. So let's let's see what happens here.
It should be a fun, grind out game. You know,
this is one of those games that I'm gonna look
forward to more than then. Then then I would think
thinking about all the different moving parts here. So here
we go.

Speaker 1 (01:37:04):
Yeah, a lot going on there, there's no doubt. How
about the night game Sunday Night Football Chiefs at the Jets.
Jets offense not exactly prolific with Zach Wilson there. These
numbers are just disgusting. I could bombard you with any
number related to Zach Wilson is going to be a
bad number. Just leave it at that. But it has

(01:37:26):
been ugly. Jets ranked thirty second in points, total yards,
and first downs. So there's that through three games against
the Chiefs. Their offense got right last week against the Bears.
I like this matchup though, Jeff and Crack, But I
know you're a big Chief sky Jeff looking at the
Chiefs Jets, did.

Speaker 4 (01:37:45):
You say you bet? Did you say you bet the
Jets in this game? That I hear?

Speaker 5 (01:37:49):
I said I would. I would take the Jets over
that you would take it? I mean just for a side, Yeah,
first side, I would take that side. But I have
I have Zach Wilson under. That's my Underpawth. You know
that's my wager for this game tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
You might just roll with that until it doesn't.

Speaker 5 (01:38:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I might do that, you know what.
I I just gotta say, it's been like a week
and I'm over the Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift thing. It's
too much.

Speaker 4 (01:38:16):
Me too, me too.

Speaker 5 (01:38:17):
I wish them the best. I wish them the absolute best,
but like it's it's enough. I'm you know, like that
that that's that's for my wife to get into. I
I don't care, like.

Speaker 4 (01:38:30):
I sells more tickets, I guess sells more jerseys, but
I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (01:38:35):
I guess so. But the question is this for lover
for marketing? I don't. I don't know. But nonetheless, this
is for betting.

Speaker 4 (01:38:42):
Where do I bet under overs?

Speaker 5 (01:38:48):
Here we go crack? So do you do you take
Travis Kelsey anytime touchdown today? Because Harry is going to
be in the crowd.

Speaker 4 (01:38:56):
I mean, it's it's probably already you're paying a tax
on that type of a bet because the public thinks
that way. But I wouldn't bet against it. I wouldn't
bet against.

Speaker 1 (01:39:06):
But the Jets they signed Trevor Simeon to the practice squad.
I don't know what the plan is at QB there
because it's not working with Zach and you just signed
Trevor Simeon. Is just weird. I don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 5 (01:39:20):
I'll give credit to Nick Wright who said this this
week on First Things First in this podcast, and I
think this is a very good point about the Jets.
It's not that the Jets are kind of in this
situation right now like that That's not their fault, right,
Rogers got hurt. But what is their fault, guys, is
that they chose to go in the season being unprepared

(01:39:42):
if he got hurt. Right now, I understand you never
go into a season thinking yourself, all my quarterbacks out
for the year. But look at the best teams in
the NFL. They have a competent enough backup to get
you through a month or so, right, Like, like if
the Chiefs were if Mahomes were to go down for
a month, Blaine Gabbert can do enough for that. Then
we saw when Mahomes got hurt in twenty nineteen, Matt

(01:40:02):
Moore came in and won one of two games, right Like,
look at it, at uh it would dallasted with Cooper
Rush last season, right Like, you know, if Brock parties
out for two games, Sam Darmo, I thinking, just do enough,
the Niners don't die over those two games. The Eagles
have Marcos Mariota, right, the Bills have is Matt Barkley
still with the Bills? You know they have is who's

(01:40:25):
the the the Dolphins Mike White right as the backup there?
Like like, yeah, the Jets roll was Zach Wilson, you know,
like it's a failure to prepare for anything bad happening
and interesting with with Rodgers aft of the season, nothing
good is gonna happen, Like I get that, but you
didn't even give yourself a chance with Zach Wilson.

Speaker 4 (01:40:47):
Yeah yeah, yeah, but this was supposed to be the
big Sunday night primetime game, you know, with Mahomes Vsus Rogers.
What a shame. I get the joy of watching Zach
the ground Now they're.

Speaker 5 (01:40:58):
Still on primetime, like like for.

Speaker 4 (01:41:00):
We have a question for you about being on the team,
Jeff with if you're on like a Kelsey's team there
and is that a distraction in the locker room?

Speaker 5 (01:41:09):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
For that, well, the media coverage or they just kind
of laugh at themselves.

Speaker 5 (01:41:12):
They just laugh at themselves, and I think, like you saw,
I mean, what was the report that Patrick Mahomes's wife
was out with Taylor?

Speaker 3 (01:41:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:41:21):
Yeah, so she's like she's already part of the crew.
I'll tell you what you know, Taylor Swift again, I
don't know if it's pr for love or whatever, but
I'll give her credit. Man, she's all in. She got
in the chief scares with she was Mama Kelsey, She's
going to a game. Hers is volunteering to go to
a game where Zach Wilson's playing quarterback tonight. Like she
must love Charles Kelsey to do this.

Speaker 1 (01:41:44):
Wow, that is love right there. That's not just marketing.
She's gonna put up with Zach Wilson.

Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
She would see Justin Fields and Zach Wilson for the
first two dates.

Speaker 1 (01:41:55):
By the way, Justin Field's not a good NFL quarterback? Sorry, Like,
are you sure about this?

Speaker 5 (01:42:01):
It's only started twenty nine games? Were sure?

Speaker 4 (01:42:03):
Yet? I know?

Speaker 1 (01:42:04):
I don't know why. Listen Zach Wilson. He deserves all
the slings and arrows he gets. He's been brutal. Justin
Fields has been bad, and it seems like the conversation
is everything but him as well.

Speaker 4 (01:42:16):
Look at the.

Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
Receivers and well look at this and well the offensive court.
When are we gonna say, well, Justin Fields? When because
he's been bad and he's had a lot of starts
now otherwise now he's bad, There we go.

Speaker 5 (01:42:28):
Good, they're gonna get we got that. I didn't put
the bear. I have bears under seven and a half,
which is I can't believe that was like a thing
that people thought what happened this season? I don't know
if I say Russ sent us the meme this week
of every pro sports team has won eight games, it's
Elon Musk bought Twitter except the Bears, right.

Speaker 1 (01:42:49):
And it says the picture just does it. It's every
team's logo, and it's this huge circle around every team's logo,
and then it's just the Bears logo on this little
island by itself. It's tremendous.

Speaker 4 (01:43:01):
They have a.

Speaker 5 (01:43:01):
One over a year, seven and a half win thing
did not make sense to me. I will say, I'm
kind of looking forward to maybe like Ben Johnson Caleb
Williams pairing, you know, the Lions oc as the Bears
next head coach who's doing a great job. With a
Caleb Williams, that'd be a huge upgrade for Chicago.

Speaker 1 (01:43:20):
I don't know, Jeff, are they going to hold on
to Justin Fields and say we don't need Caleb. I'm
just kidding, Like, I don't think they're that crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:43:27):
I think it's a real good bet still here in
Atlantic City. Actually, I bet it yesterday. I can't get
to the window of bet it today because the game
starts in twenty five minutes. But Chicago Bears under five
and a half wins minus a dollar fifty. I still
think I don't like landa dollar fifty. I just don't
see the Bears winning six games this year. So I
like Jeff bet better. But yeah, still some of the

(01:43:49):
sportsbooks to offer these in season.

Speaker 1 (01:43:52):
I think you said it earlier, Jeff, that the Broncos
gave up seventy, they lost by fifty, and they're favored
by three against the Bears. Like that's how bad it
is for the Bears this season. It's unbeloved.

Speaker 5 (01:44:06):
I have the Broncos in my contest this weekend. I
I can't get over this line. Like, think about the
Broncos lost by fifty. We've talked about this, right the
line open correcting in the bron crack at two and
a half immediately went up to three and a half.
The sharps are like, yep, we're good, Well, we will

(01:44:26):
just take the Broncos at three, three and a half whatever,
like the Broncos at least. I actually think the best
wager in this game is Broncos first half, because the
Broncos have played better in first half than second half
of games. But you can't do that for contest pick.
But Vegas is telling you in a game of two
zero to three teams that the Bears are that bad.

(01:44:50):
They're at home and there are three and a half
point dog to a team that just lost by fifty points.

Speaker 1 (01:44:58):
It is unbelievable. Hey, let's work I Low here into
the conversation. He is unbelievable in a good way, unlike
the Bears unbelievable in a bad way. He's got the latest.
I Low. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:45:10):
Man?

Speaker 8 (01:45:10):
Yes, you can never lose a comparison when the other
party in the comparison is the Chicago Bears. We actually
start with some NBA news because multiple outlets reported a
short time ago that the Portland Trailblazers are trading All
star guard Drew Holliday to the Boston Celtics in exchange
for Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdam, Golden State's twenty twenty four
first round pick, and the celtics unprotected twenty twenty nine

(01:45:33):
first round pick. NFL Today in London, the Jacksonville Jaguars
defeated the Atlanta Falcons twenty three to seven, so both
teams now two and two. Calvin Ridley a thirty yard
touchdown reception against his former team. Darius Williams a sixty
one yard pick six off of Atlanta quarterback Desmond Ritter,
who was sacked four times three times by Josh Allen.

(01:45:53):
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson inactive against the Baltimore Ravens
today because of a shoulder injury, so rookie Dorian tom
Robinson will start in his place. Cleveland tight end David Nijok,
who is active despite suffering burns to his hands and
face in a household accident Friday night when he was
trying to light a backyard fire. Pit Bears receiver Chase

(01:46:14):
Claypool a healthy scratch against the Broncos. NFL media reports
rookie Aiden O'Connell will start at quarterback for the Raiders
today against the Chargers with Jimmy Garoppolo out in concussion protocol.
Tonight on Sunday Night Football, it's the Chiefs visiting the
Jets and with apologies to Jeff and Bill, just going
to run down the latest in the Travis Kelcey Taylor

(01:46:36):
Swift saga. The Daily Mirror of London that noted NFL
reporting outlet reported that early on Saturday evening, Kelsey briefly
visited Swift's Manhattan apartment before we were being transported back
to the Chief's team hotel. And then last night Swift
indeed dined at a lower Manhattan Italian restaurant with a

(01:46:58):
group that included Brittany Mahome, the wife of Chiefs quarterback
Patrick Mahomes. And in fact, here is how it sounded
when the group exited the restaurant. Ironically, those cheers were

(01:47:18):
louder than those the Jets offense is expected to hear tonight. Finally,
in Golf of Europe has won the Ryder Cup, defeating
Team US say sixteen and a half to eleven and
a half. Back to you, guys, man, that reminds me
where were we in Mississippi when we went to the
restaurant and Jeff, that woman recognized you because she studied

(01:47:41):
faces a little.

Speaker 1 (01:47:45):
Bit of the same reaction right there as Taylor Swift.

Speaker 4 (01:47:48):
At least I thought, yes, No, she was all over Jeff,
don't let his wife here.

Speaker 5 (01:47:53):
My wife will probably be happy. Someone else is talking
to me. She hadn't talked to me.

Speaker 1 (01:47:57):
Okay, okay, what happened?

Speaker 5 (01:48:01):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (01:48:02):
Usc is that? What crack? Did you see this on
the text thread? How dirty USC did? Jeff?

Speaker 5 (01:48:08):
Oh my god, I was so I was so angry.
I was so angry. I have UFC go over forty
eight and a half points yesterday, Okay, and I did
drop I think to forty seven and a half. I
kick off, but I know I wagered on gave it
out on Friday. I can't go back on it. They
had They scored seven touchdowns with seventeen minutes left in

(01:48:31):
the game, so two miss up in the third quarter,
they had seven touchdowns, but they missed an earlier extra point,
so that forty eight points. Some forty eight points. They
end with forty eight points. The next seventeen minutes they
score zero points, including a missed field goal.

Speaker 4 (01:48:45):
That really can't happen.

Speaker 5 (01:48:46):
How do you miss an extra point in college football?
It's seven yards away from the end zone, like it's
a seventeen yards It's was as it being a nineteen
yard kick. Yep, like the nineteen yard kick. By the way,
the worst part about the miskick was the poor kicker
had just been put on scholarship this week. I think
he had you know last week he'd just been put
on scholarship. And so the most remarkable thing about about USC,

(01:49:12):
by the way, is the over is hit in like
seventy percent of like around these games, like it is
a coach in general. They're so bad on defense that
just if you auto bet the over in these games,
you're gonna hit. I didn't bet the overcause I didn't
wasn't sure about Colorado's offense coming off the organ game.
But like USC had seven touchdowns in nine possessions, Like,
what are we doing? Oh god, crack, I was. I

(01:49:34):
was legit like I was very angry. I put it
like I was. I was. I was not happy about
that last night.

Speaker 4 (01:49:41):
That's I've had situations like that though, but that that
is in college football with these teams. That's not supposed
to happen.

Speaker 1 (01:49:48):
My god, I was on the right side.

Speaker 5 (01:49:49):
I was still on the right side of that.

Speaker 1 (01:49:51):
That's where were you at?

Speaker 4 (01:49:52):
Were you home? Were you like throwing things around or
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:49:54):
I was well because then I was like, I had
one more wager. I wanted to give out, and I
was going to do it if they if I won.
Basically because I had a little light away, I gave out. Anyways,
I lost, of course, but like I just was like
I was up for a winning week. If this had clear,
if this had had a winning week, crack, if this
had worked, I'm two and two it.

Speaker 4 (01:50:12):
You have to give out a loser. I can't be
a winner of salvage the night up.

Speaker 5 (01:50:15):
Well, well I was, so I was. I felt good
about the three I gave out. The other one. I
were five PAC twelve games. Put it like this, there
were five. I bet I did gave out three wagers.
The fourth game I didn't give out because I was
like I I it was weird calls. Favorited by thirteen.
They should be favorite by thirteen over nobody. They won
by three. I was right on that one. So I'm like,
you know what, I'm probably right in the fifth game too.

(01:50:35):
Why not? So I gave that one out and uh yeah,
But nonetheless, I had Arizona last night at least, so
I woke up this morning to a nice cover for them.

Speaker 1 (01:50:42):
They were on that right away. I'll give you credit
about that, Arizona. Yeah, Washington, Look.

Speaker 5 (01:50:48):
I know we're pro a pro, a pro sports radio station,
he or NFL, but college football, guys, it is hard
to play your first conference road game. It just is
like it doesn't matter who you're playing, Nebraska, Michigan aside,
Like look at Penn State going on the road, Northwestern
Oregon on the road early to Stanford, I think, and

(01:51:08):
both those teams covered by the Stanford and Penn State,
I mean, Organ Penz they both covered. It's just hard
to play that first road game. Like it just is right.
And so I use that, I think to my advantage
some times in wagering, Like I just look at and say, look,
when nineteen points is a lot, you're on the road
for the first time a conference play, I don't know,
I think it's a good spot to wager on on teams.

Speaker 1 (01:51:29):
That's the voice of Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran
dot grad. We've got Bill Krachenberger from crackwings dot com
sports handicapper. I'm Brian, no crack. Where'd you go to college?
You graduate School of hard Knocks. I hardly got out
of high school. Thank you got though School of hard knocks,
Jeff said, Duck. I went to ball State. There we go.

(01:51:49):
I think that's a winning combination right now.

Speaker 4 (01:51:51):
You guys grew up money, I grew up poor. I'm happy.
I grew up poor. Thank god.

Speaker 1 (01:51:55):
That's that is an untrue statement. Crack, I let me
tell you for a job. I'm not sure about Joe.
That's true. On my side, we got pick Scalore over here, picks,
we got the Crack Challenge, We've got rapid Fire, We've
got Cracks. Play of the day. Just an Onslaught coming
your way right around the corner. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bet MGM. It is

(01:52:39):
As games are said to kick off in just about
ten minutes. All right, let's dive into.

Speaker 2 (01:52:43):
This five games against the spread.

Speaker 3 (01:52:48):
We call it all it the Crack Challenge.

Speaker 1 (01:52:52):
Oh, it's official now, Jet love it.

Speaker 5 (01:52:55):
Yes, I think we're I'm five and five right, I
think what are you?

Speaker 1 (01:53:01):
Five? Four and one?

Speaker 5 (01:53:03):
Okay? All right, I like it? Okay, so uh, the
Broncos are minus three right now, give me the Broncos
minus three. I will take the Oh god, these lines.
Commanders plus eight and a half, Titans plus two and
a half. Give me the Seahawks minus one and a half.

(01:53:23):
Uh huh, oh my god. The Chiefs are down to
minus seven and a half. One yeah, wow, crack, do
you see that. Let's move to point a half. Oh boy,
because I can't do the Ravens now. I can't do it,
because I just I just can't do it. Give me
the uh the Colts plus.

Speaker 1 (01:53:43):
One, Colts plus one. Okay, man, So I'm with you
on a couple here. I'm with you on Washington. I'll
take over a touchdown divisional game. I'm with you on
Monday night with the Seahawks minus point a half against
Big Blue. I'm gonna add in Buffalo. I hate to

(01:54:05):
do it against my fins. I like Buffalo in this
spot an awful lot. I'm gonna throw in the Steelers.
Tomlin has been fantastic against rookie quarterbacks. You have no
offensive line in Houston. Against the Steelers and DJ Watt,
I'll lay the three with Pittsburgh last one, man, do
I go heads up with you with the Rams or

(01:54:26):
heads up with you with the Bengals.

Speaker 5 (01:54:28):
Been the Bengals on the road is good for you?

Speaker 1 (01:54:32):
Yeah, I'd say I'm going Cincy sincey minus two and
a half against your better judgment and cracks wise words
right there. I will probably live to regret this, but
that's what I'm going with. All Right, more picks. Let's
go rapid fire.

Speaker 4 (01:54:47):
Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (01:54:51):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:54:52):
All right, crack, We'll start with you. What do you
like today?

Speaker 4 (01:54:55):
Man? Well, I'm gonna surprise Jeff here. I guess for
that last pick, he was very unsexcusic, you know, a
little bit back and forth, and nowhere came to tick.
The Rams minus one is going to be mine? Who heaby?

Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
That's the direction I should have gone. Gosh, wow, hi Jeff.

Speaker 4 (01:55:11):
What do you like? Man?

Speaker 5 (01:55:13):
I mean any of these quarterback unders? Right? I bet
under Mayfield? I bet Fields under. I bet who else
I bet? But Mayfield Fields? And one other guy bet
under I too. No, Wilson, Wilson, sorry Wilson. Oh and
dogs it took Dobb's under two dobs under on the road. Dude.

Speaker 1 (01:55:32):
These I know you guys laugh at me, but you no, No,
I love it, man, it's like your calling card right here.
They're great.

Speaker 5 (01:55:38):
They're great. I'm mean doing this for years, taking these
quarterback unders. I love them. Man, Cool, I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:55:42):
Gonna go with a prop for you. I'm going CJ.
Stroud over thirty two and a half past attempts because look,
their offensive line is so banged up they haven't been
able to run it. I don't anticipate them running against
the Steelers today. They're gonna have to throw it. When
they throw it, I think he's gonna have a lot
of time. It's got to be a bunch of short,
quick stuff, and if they're trailing, he's got to throw

(01:56:06):
it more So, I like CJ. Stroud over thirty two
and a half passing attempts. All right, we save the
best for last. Let's do this.

Speaker 2 (01:56:18):
Maybe this is the best play of the day.

Speaker 1 (01:56:25):
Okay, crack, what do you have for us?

Speaker 4 (01:56:26):
Man? Well, until Wilson proves us wrong, I'm going to
continue to go under on Wilson. Also, I'm with Jeff here.
I'm gonna go under on his passing touchdowns under a
half plus one point fifteen. That's what I call one
of my specials and also a Taylor swift special. She
gave it to me, so I'll really it didn't sound right,

(01:56:49):
oh okay, but yeah, so there you go.

Speaker 5 (01:56:52):
Correct. I need to all go to a Tempsil concert together,
all three of us.

Speaker 1 (01:56:55):
Yeah, okay, yeah, right after we catch a Lamb of God,
what do you guys say?

Speaker 4 (01:57:01):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (01:57:01):
And sure liked and Break Let's get him
