Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you ready to witness greatness?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
NFL fans, Welcome to the largest tailgate party in the
nation where let's go to Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by Bett mg app, the King of sportsbook. We're
setting you up with the information you need to watch
your team win.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Fift three is the in game.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
We're here to break it all down.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett mg App. Now we're live from your tailgame. Here's
Brian no Hyar, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports handicapper
from crack wins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh, what's going on? Everybody?
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Welcome in here, Week six of the NFL season, and
we're live. We're live already three three in the first quarter,
dood live and the tight instead is right.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
We will do it live.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I love this, you know, Jeff, you made this point
and good morning to both of you guys. We made
this point last week where yards are just so much
harder to come by in the NFL. The Titans first drive,
it's fourth and a long one at the Ravens eight
yard line, and rabels like take the points, kick the
(01:23):
field goal. I'm just used to a full slate of
college football action yesterday and it'd be like, Hey, it's
fourth and six at their forty seven, Oh go for it.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
What are we even thinking about here? But it's just
different in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Man, I'm not saying everybody's conservative, it's just not as
aggressive as college football, not nearly.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
I feel like that's a that's a shot right at
Dan Lannon. No, it's really start starting the show this way.
I mean, your team wins a game last night, like
I thought we all kind of I think we all
kind of sort of thought that that Notre Dame would
beat USC last night. Not I don't think in the
way they did. I expect sort of that type of
performance from Notre Dame or USC and vice versa. But
(02:05):
you just right just ripping my heart out and just
while it's beating, just tearing the shirts. I will say, though,
good morning, Cracking, Good morning Brian. Oregon did push or
cover depending on the number you got, So congratulations to
all those. You know, I watched the game this morning
on film both for Washington and both sides, Oregon and Washington,
(02:26):
and you know the Oregon was better, They played better.
They should have won the game. They had over one
hundred yards more on offense, they were sixty percent on
the third down. They they did what they had to
do to win the Pennix was only twenty two to
thirty seven. Like, you know what, Oregon did what they
had to do, right. A lot of football comes down
to how you win these close games, right. And you
(02:50):
know Dan Lannings in his second year as a head coach,
Kayln de Boor is like in his tenth, and Kaylen
de Boor won three championships at n AIA. He was
good at fresh and say his team is better prepared
to win the end of these games and ours is
not at the moment. Doesn't mean organ can't get there.
But you know, there were so many opportunities in the game,
whether it was you know, the play calls on fourth down,
which I'm actually fine going for. I think the hindsight
(03:12):
you say, you kicked the fieldal at the end of
the first half kind of got three free points there.
But like guys are open and like Nicks is not
getting to that, like they like they're just in Penix
just makes better throws, you know, Like, so it's just
frustrating when I thought Oregon played better and lost and
we've lost now two years in a row to our arrival.
And I just hope, guys, this game gets treated like
(03:34):
an SEC game where where no one gets penalized for
the loss, right, like this was a good football game.
Is Oregon to drop seven spots in the polls now
because it's a PAC twelve game? Like it was a
good football game. Both teams should be rewarded for playing
a good football game.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Jeff said it, right, At least minimum, you should have
pushed this game. You shouldn't have lost this game. So
I agree with you there, Jeff. And again, good morning
to you guys, warn into America and more than everybody
you know. Let me ask you something, Jeff, because I
was out. I was actually out last night. It's unusual
that I'll stay out late night. I'm not really a
(04:10):
late night guy on the weekends in Vegas because of
the traffic and just craziness and of course our morning show.
But danced the night away with the Lionel Richie last night.
Crack Man. Yeah, which, by the way, he was fantastic,
seventy four years old. The guy is amazing. Okay, go.
Let's go Oregon laws. So let me ask you, what
do you think about some of the coach's decisions there,
(04:31):
Jeff Landing's decisions. Went for it twice when and the
end of the game they were up like four, I
was told, and they on fourth and three they went
for it again with like two minutes left. What what
do you think about this?
Speaker 5 (04:41):
Okay? Okay, So the first decision was I was it
was a Washington a fourth and one about midfield before
the end of the first half, they went for it.
I thought it wasn't catch Brian. I don't know the
ball was laying on the ground. I mean, you can
make the argument. I guess his hand on the side
was holding it, but like the ball was literally on
the ground. Whatever, Fine, give him a first down. Penexto's interception. Okay,
(05:05):
we drive all the way down the field. It's fourth
and two from the two. I think, now we get
the ball out of the half, so we kick a
field goal. We go down one ball out of the half.
He goes for it. Now there were three guys open,
I mean, like like Nicks through the guy that wasn't open.
I get it, like it take the points. But when
you watch it on film, you're like, eh, just like
(05:28):
the guy was like even open, like immediately over the
middle of the field. You can watch the highlight I
tweeted yesterday, like open right now, build a ball toom,
we score touchdown, boom, and everyone's like Dan Lanning, Bravo, bravo.
Didn't happen, right, So you take this so you miss
it there. The second time, I think we were down
four again or eleven, and we went forward again on
fourth down. I don't want the play calls were bad.
(05:50):
I don't The play calls were not very good. I
don't like those. The second one that makes more sense now,
the third one you're talking about was at the end
of the game. Okay, if we get a first down,
the game's over. It's that simple, right, We're about midfield.
They had no timeouts. Don't like to play call again.
It was a rollout, did not work. But then Washington
scored immediately. We had a minute thirty to go down
and tie the game or score touchdown to win. That
(06:12):
one actually makes sense because if you in that situation,
if you punt the ball deep, Washington's good offense is good.
If they score a touchdown, the game's over. We have
no time left, so I'm okay with that one. It look,
I'm gonna always air on the side of being aggressive.
It's cost him twice in this game now against Washington
two years in a row. But I'm always going to
(06:34):
air on that side when you have When you're playing
a team, Michael, if you're playing you know Utah's offense,
you take the three points, I think, but you're playing Washington,
you go for the jugular. I'm fine with it. If
Oregon was eight for ten on fourth down heading into
this game, oh for three, now Washington was two for
three on fourth down. This kind of happens.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Yeah, well he certainly doubled down, like you said, not
taking the field goal before halftime.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
That was the mistake in hindsight. But again, guys were open.
I mean I can think you guys the film.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
I mean that's rough. That's rough.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Brian. Did you watch the game? Did you watch the
game two? Yeah? No, because it's funny. On dinner last night,
I was talking this way. I had dinner at literally
midnight talking to somebody about how both sides of the
ball and I'll ask you guys this, So, Brian, if
you bet Washington in that game, Jeff bet Oregon. Were
both of you guys looking at it from your perspective
and your team playing, would you both have said you
(07:25):
deserve to win?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Well, not necessarily. It was a close game. It was
a coin flip game. I was in Oregon three for
a reason.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
I think, yeah, I don't think there was I mean,
you know, at one point Washington was up eleven, and
I think you would have thought Washington should have covered
and then Order came back. I mean, Orgon had ninety
percent win probability at one point in that game in
the four while like, yeah, there are before again the
first down you win the game, I mean, I feel
like the number was good, which it was.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
How did you feel if Oregon tied it up, they
had a last second field goal attempt to tie it
up and take it to overtime.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
If it there, how did you feel.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
My heart probably would have exploded in my chest. I
don't know, man, you know, I think we just we
We probably would have both scored and someone would have
gone for two probably and it would have been you know,
that's what that would have been. What happened.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I think, what's so tough? Jeff, I don't know if
you feel this way.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
I get that they were aggressive, and hey, we get
I think it was three yards and the game's over.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
If we get three yards, it's over.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And we've moved the ball well and there've been open
receivers and they went for it didn't work out. But
if you punt, and like you said, Oregon's defense did
their job. They did what they were supposed to do.
And I get being aggressive, and I get like that
carrot is just dangling right in front of you. You
get three yards and it is freaking done. But if
(08:46):
you don't, man, they don't have to drive the full
length of the field, which I would have liked to
have seen. Look, if they get those three yards, I'm
not making that argument today either. So it's just one
of those things.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
So Washington goes, Washington goes for Washington goes for the uh,
you know, the fourth down the end of the first half,
and they converted, Everyone's like genius. You know, if they
don't convert, that organ has the ball with a minute
left and forty yards ago to take the lead heading
and a half time. So it just depends on the
(09:19):
result of the play, right, And that's a lot of times.
Now the situation matters too, right, Like the situation in
that situation, you say you punt the ball back to
them to make them go ninety yards, I guess. But
against this offense, man, how quick does that happen? Like
they won almost every one on one outside the numbers
because their wide receivers. They have three pro wide receivers
one actually missed most of the game two of them,
(09:39):
So like you have to weigh that when it's happening right,
like our offense was averaging six and a half yards
a play. You have a starting quarterback, it's had fifty
three starts, like fourth and three, you go for it.
I'm fine with that. If the first one is the
one in hindsight you take, you you take the three,
the free three points after the turnover, and you just
(10:01):
go into halftime down one. The other ones I'm absolutely
fine with.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
I think some of it is just the curiosity of
what would have happened if you punted it and they
had to go ninety yards, you know what I mean?
Like that's part of it too, just as a fan,
just as put the bets to the side, and the
outcome that way is just could Pennix junior. Would I
know he could have, but would he have gone ninety
yards and scored a touch?
Speaker 1 (10:24):
We'll never know. We'll never know that, So that's part
of it.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
Also, I mean, the one the one thing that I
think is interesting about that particular scenario is, you know,
when Washington sort of had to pass the ball, Oregon's
defensive line was playing really well. They pressure. I mean,
Penicks left the game with like they called it a cramp.
I don't think that's a crap.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Yeah, like his mid section or look at his.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Ribs or something like under his flackjacket got hit like
in that lower rib area. And you know, ribs are painful, man,
like not even a broken rib, but cartilage like you know,
getting dislodged or like getting irritated. It's a very painful injury. Yeah,
it would have been fun to watch. I I but
you know, do you want to win aggressively with the
best unit on the field, which is your offense, or
(11:06):
do you want to try to kind of win passively
by hoping you play enough defense to limit you know.
So it's kind of in those it's it's sort of
what you're fancying that situation. But look, I they might
meet again the Pactale Championship game. I don't think anyone's
beating in Washington the rest of the season, not us.
He is not. You talk to them quarterback. Right now,
(11:28):
Washington State looks like they're dying. I mean, they got
blown out yesterday, so you know, they might meet each
other in the Pactble Championship game again, and hopefully we
don't make those same mistakes. But yes, there was a
fun day, man. I mean, you know, we obviously had
no Dame usc Us. He still can't win there. But
I think usc took a big their stock took a
big hit last night.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Weird for the Irish, huh.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Yeah, Well, you know, you played four straight top ten teams,
you know, like and I think it really shows Marcus Freeman.
You know, he's a young coacher, just like Dan Lanning,
right like that it's important to note some times, you know,
it took Kirby Smart what seven years to fill the
contender Georgia, Like it just takes time, you know, like
you have to build your program up, you have to
learn how to win. And Marcus Freeman did a great
(12:11):
job of rebounding his team after the last three weeks
to play really good against you. They played really well. No,
they scored on special teams, a bunch of interceptions.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
All played well all over the game.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
They played very well, and that's a credit to the
coaching staff and the players for having and then they
still have like Clemson later. Their schedule is brutal, but
they did a good job. And I think you credit
Marcus Freeman for just you know, be able to rally Gipsy.
They're on a buy now and they played pitt who
just beat Louisville, which is sort of the easiest upset
(12:42):
pick of the week. I feel like beating Louisville was
sort of and they expected just the way Louisville was
coming off their win like they did. So it was
a a fun weekend of college football. North Carolina looks
really good this season. Their defense looks much improved. It
was a fun weekend of ball.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
It was how much did you watch yesterday? Crack? It
sounds like you're out and about I was out.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I was, I was out for a while. I went out,
But however, I had had a really good day yesterday.
Actually even my sendouts were like eight and one, which
is the best. That's the best weekend that I've had.
But as far as you know, listen, did I watch
a little bit? Yeah, I watched a little bit early.
Of course, I got up like five thirty or six
my time almost every single day because you know, you
(13:30):
have to get especially early week to get a lot
of these moves. But those particular games on Saturday, when
the FCS comes up, and a lot of the extra
board games they're not even really at full strength. I
really can't bet too much money on them, so I
have to get up extra early. But yeah, I bet
a lot of totals yesterday and just ran the game. Wow.
(13:51):
If I had just one more weekend like that in
college for the year, I'd be really happy. Grind it
out some really good for the season. I've actually grinded
out a small profit. But now now it really puts
me over the head, puts me way ahead. So yeah,
so you know, do I watch a lot. I really
don't have to watch a lot, luckily. I mean, we're
more of a numbers thing. I have a team of
(14:12):
guys and you know, I'll just fire away at the
right time, and we fire away as a group, and
you know, we beat the line moves, beat the closing
line about ninety percent of the time, and then that's
the key to success long term. Short term, anything can happen.
But you know, now today I will watch of course,
I really really love the NFL and I love watching
that red Zone. I'm not going oh I am actually
(14:36):
I am going out to meet some people at one o'clock.
It's tough when you have people in town. When you know,
it's funny how I have a big mouth and say
to everybody whenever you come to Vegas, just don't worry
about it. Just come just to ask me. I'll set
you up in a room somewhere. Either it'll be a
Caesar's property, the Beautiful win where I have someone. Almost
every weekend I get comps there. I got comps to
the show last night, comps to dinner at Sinatra, which
(14:57):
wasn't really that good, surprised me. But and Or I
could put you at the Stratus or the Lovely Stratosphere Stratt.
Oh yeah, the Strats called the Strata. Now they renamed
it the strat Where we're next door. They have a
little casino called the Aztec. It's the true Bucket of Blood.
It reminds me of the casino on Vegas vacation picking
up with you one and ten five four, sir, I'm
(15:17):
sorry you just missed by the way.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Uh Crack, you went eight and one.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
It's weird because I'm looking at the group chat here, Jeff,
and it looks like you went oh and o on
the group chat there.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
I don't see any picks.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Oh yeah, No, I haven't given you guys anything because
you guys are winning so much money on your own.
I don't want to affect that. It's weird. I know
you guys are winning. When I seen Jeff saw Crack
challenge picks last week, I said, well, I can't mess
with this guy.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
I know mine. You probably like it, and we're gonna
have that funny over here.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
What's funny is I have been historically really good in
the PAC twelve. I've mentioned as many times. I was
oh and four yesterday. I've had my worst season that
I've had him like thirteen and sixteen. I think right
now year I've ever had twelve, and I've been sixty
I told you say, I've been sixty percent life right, Yeah,
not good NFL, which I'm typically right. I end the
season at five hundred, like that's the last three years right,
(16:07):
forty five and forty five last season. I'm killing it.
I'm like shocked. I'm like, I'm pleasantly surprised. So I
guess I'll take the wins in one.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Mathematically, you're supposed to jump on you now, though, Jeff, No,
I'm being realship. Yes, right right around anyone that's lifetime
A sixty percent, which is unbelievable. Fifty five percent. Bakers
are going to be hiding from you Monday morning, Lifetime, Yeah,
sixty percent. Wow. Now you're supposed to jump on you
because you're going to return to them.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
I hope so well. I would fade my football picks though,
because I'm too hot right now. I can't. There's no
way this is going to continue throughout the season.
Speaker 4 (16:38):

Speaker 4 (18:45):
All right, we'd like to welcome in Christian Cipollini, BETMGM
Trading Manager to Countdown to Kickoff. Good morning Christian, yet
again we're in London early kicktime. How much How much
action did you see? Are which I was favored more
in terms of the money? Were they more on the
Ravens or the Titans? A lot of line movement in
(19:05):
the Ravens favor there?
Speaker 7 (19:08):
Hey yeah, this one we opened at three and a
half on the Ravens ended up going to five five
and a half, got closer to five right around kickoff,
but you we're seeing a little bit more Ravens money.
I'd say of the three London games we've had in
the past three weeks, this has taken the leads amount
of handle of those three, so must be the least
interesting among betters, or maybe they're just sleeping in.
Speaker 5 (19:29):
The Browns have announced PJ Walker starting a quarterback. That
line continue to tick up and up and up. It's
now at nine and a half nine ers fair by
nine and a half. Is that too much of overreaction
to the announcement of the brown starting PJ Walker.
Speaker 7 (19:43):
Yeah, that's a crazy one. I mean you could get
you could have had forty nine ers minus four and
a half and under forty two year and get five
six points of value across there. This one definitely the
craziest line movement of the week. I'm not so sure
if it's too much of an overreaction, but when we
did go to ten, we did get hit back down
where briefly there. But yeah, we're taking nothing but forty
nine ers money from the public side, which you'd imagine
(20:05):
with CJ. Walker starting at quarterback.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Yeah, Christian, I'm hoping you guys go to ten again
because I'll definitely I'm on the side. Let me ask you, though,
is it a big side for you? Would your biggest
side of the day be this game or would it
be the other double digital spreads here Buffalo or either
the Miami game. What's the big side you're on today
that you're gonna need no matter what? Probably at game time.
Speaker 7 (20:30):
Yeah, there's a couple that's that's our biggest one, or
at least pretty close to it, if not. The Eagles
as well, is going to be another one. I was
pretty surprised by Lions Bucks with about eighty percent of
the money on the Lions. I thought that'd be a
little bit closer. So that one's a bit surprising for me.
Of at least the other two, you know, the Eagles
and the forty nine ers makes sense there.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Okay, so the Buffalo game in the Miami game though
not really getting as hits as those two.
Speaker 7 (20:53):
No, the Buffalo one is surprising to me because I
anticipated not writing very much giant action, but I guess
fifteen point number and sure getting some people there, but
that's still surprising me. But not since the degree that
the other games are.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
So how about the Cowboys coming off a stinker last
week Monday Night Football at the Chargers. What's the money
looking like in that one.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
Yeah, we're pretty close to the fifty to fifty on
that one. Not too too much line movement there either.
It's definitely a little a little bit of both. So
at this moment we're okay, but you know, a long
way till game time.
Speaker 5 (21:27):
Any takers for Giants plus fifteen or Panthers plus fourteen today?
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (21:34):
Not on the Panthers. Yeah, that's that's when I missed there.
The Dolphins were definitely taking a ton of Dolphins money,
So we're gonna be on the Dolphins as well. There
is more Giants money on that fourteen and a half
than than there is on the Panthers at fourteen. Good
too surprising to me.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
So Jeff's question, though, you're going to be on Carolina?
Is that where you meant in Carolina?
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (21:56):
Yeah, yeah, okay, you're gonna be on Carol Carolina.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Let me peel back the curtain here for and ask
you when when the lines come up like in the
words that like I seen the San Fra when san
Fran plays good on TV. This is based basically the
best team in the NFL. People know what they're on
prime time lines coming up that night. I seen it
went from three where you couldn't bet it before the
game to four and a half widely after the game,
(22:21):
and I even said to myself, Wow, that's that seems
like it's going to be a low. No matter what.
There's gonna be nothing to do with the quarterback situation
on the other team. I just said that this is
going to be a public game after they just see it.
The public only goes by their eyes, so their eyes
are that week no matter what, that's what they're going
to put into the next week's games. Now, would you guys,
and like I said, peel back the curtain, do you guys,
(22:43):
as a in like a meeting, say hey, do we
have to put up the four and a half because
everyone else has it? Or where you add a little
bit of baked in you know, a public uh what's
the word implied odds of the public coming in on
san Fran. Will you say, hey, let's open this up
five or do you kind of open it up where
everyone else opened it up? Is there a team meeting
on that or what. How's it work?
Speaker 7 (23:04):
Yeah, Every now and then, you know, we'll start to
lean a different side if it's you know, we try
to stay off whole numbers just because you know, it
ends up just being a push. People get their money
back either way, so we try to keep everything on
a half numbers.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Old school. That's old school.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
Yeah, yeah, So if we're sitting out of five, you know,
we might lean to go five and a half there
just to go one side. You know, it depends on
Like you said, everything's pretty reactionary. So whatever happened the
week before is where the public is going to tend
to lead. So when the forty nine ers dominate, we
know we're going to see money on the next week.
When the Giants stink the week before, we know we're
going to get money on the other side. So when
(23:37):
we can lean that way without going too far to market,
you know, sometimes we will before we get sharp action.
The celts 's go certain ways, but that's usually how.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
We'll do it. How about the Bengals team, obviously with
high expectations, got off to a horrible start, but they
won last week. Are you seeing some betting over reaction
like the Bengals are back.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Let's do it lay the ploinds.
Speaker 7 (23:58):
Yeah, and not too much line movement, you know, a
two and a half down to the key of three.
But yeah, we're getting about like seventy seventy five percent
on the Bengals, so there's definitely some public reaction there.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Which team are you most rooting for today? Is there
one you just sort of have to have to either
help you with teasers or or moneyline parlays? Where are
you looking to the one you're rooting for the most?
Speaker 7 (24:18):
As well? If we can get just one of the
Browns of the Jets both at home to you know,
at least cover, but one of them winning would be
spectacular because that'll knock out all the parlays and that'll
pretty much guarantee it's a good day.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
You've running really well, by the way on this show,
un know, if you realize it, you've run really well,
giving out a side that you need. And of course,
like I always say, the Good Lord protects the bookmakers
and protects you, so good going there. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (24:46):
Hey, well I'm an eagle span myself, so I'm hoping
the Browns do it, not the Jets.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
There you go, man, there. Hey, hey man, Well hey Christian,
I always appreciate you man. Enjoy week six.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
We'll catch you soon, all right, thanks for having me. There.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
He is Christian zip Y bet MGM, Trading manager. Here
on Fox Sports Radios. Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
We go from.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Christian to Isaac Loewen tron, who also has sharp information
as well.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
He's got the latest.
Speaker 8 (25:14):
There's nothing that captivates an international audience like a whole
bunch of field goals. And that's what's going on right now,
fellas in London, because the Baltimore Ravens have a nine
to three lead over the Tennessee Titans with four minutes
and fifty two seconds left to play in the second quarter.
(25:35):
Justin Tucker of the Ravens field goals of forty one,
twenty eight and twenty three. Nick Folk of Tennessee with
a twenty six yard field goal, again nine to three
Ravens over the Titans four to fifty two left second
quarter in London. Coming up later today, the forty nine
Ers will be playing at Cleveland. And you guys remember
San Francisco Titan George Kittle was fine for wearing an
(25:58):
undershirt during last week's game against the Cowboys that read
quote bleep Dallas unquote well and apparently Kittle taking a
more diplomatic approach today going into the dog pound, because
NBC Sports Bay Area just captured Kittle as he entered
the visitors locker room wearing a sweater reading I like
dogs very clever, well played George, also trending right now
(26:25):
the following two subjects, Travis and Taylor, and at the
same time also trending Taylor and Travis because Kansas City
Chiefs died in Travis Kelsey and music superstar Taylor Swift
made it p DA official last night as they were
photographed holding hands in New York City before later making
(26:45):
separate cameos on Saturday Night Live. In a related story,
this has caused my own wife to become furious with
me because, in an attempt to be considerate, I waited
until she was awake today to inform her about this
latest development. Turns out, guys, that was the wrong move,
as indicated by the text and I quote why did
(27:07):
you wait so long to tell me this? Why didn't you.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
Wake me up? Unquote wow?
Speaker 8 (27:12):
Anyway, in college football on Saturday Night, number twenty one.
Notre Dame knocked off tenth rank USC forty eight to
twenty for the Trojans first loss of the season. They
committed five turnovers, including three Caleb Williams interceptions. Notre Name
had a fumble return for a touchdown and a kickoff
return for a touchdown in the same contest, and real
(27:33):
quick going back to London, right on to you, guys.
We finally got a touchdown Zay Flowers into the end
zone a ten yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson. So
it's fifteen to three Ravens over the Titans, three twenty
eight left second quarter, pending the conversion back to you.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
I love Fox Sports Radio Scampdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM rolls on.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Let's do this.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
In gain Bette.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Okay, just like Ilo said, got the London game between
the Ravens and Titans going on. Ravens take a fifteen
to three lead. How about this stat with the Titans.
Titans have scored fewer than thirty points in twenty.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Three straight games. Jesus, that's crazy to me.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
In the NFL, you don't have one breakout game against
some sad opponent.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Twenty three straight. That's a long time.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
But we're in game right now, so you're not gonna
get the Titans at under thirty dezent odds anymore. So
are you looking at a to take advantage of the
market here right now? Crack anything standing.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Out and this will be the probably the big game
that's going to be bet in game today. Of course,
I mean Tonight's game, prime time, but I think the Baltimore,
Tennessee game. People getting up now, it's seven to thirty
five here on the West coast, ten thirty on the
East coast. People getting up now. They have to have action.
It's in their blood, it's in their veins. I don't
recommend just spontaneous betting in game, to be honest with you,
(29:01):
but looking at this particular game fifteen to three, and automatically,
what will happen is people will say, oh, man, Baltimore,
I knew it. I knew it. I knew they were
gonna blow them away, and they'll lay the points, the
in game points, which is around thirteen right now, by
the way, I'm looking at at MGM, it's about thirteen
twelve and a half minus quarter thirteen on in game.
(29:24):
I can't recommend betting that side. You know, I'm not
saying at Tennessee, but I'm not looking at them forty
three and a half under minus a quarter that's.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
Live right now?
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Yeah? What what? What op?
Speaker 2 (29:35):
What O?
Speaker 3 (29:36):
What was it on when you do forty two was
the opening line? Let's just confirmed, like, let again another
set up.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
I like taking that. My favorite in game wagers are
games that have way too much scoring in the first
half and you just take the under in the second
half thinking, you know, just like an under live. At
some point, even the Oregon Washington game last night got
to a point where the under was over like near
in the mid high seventies because you know, just they
were scoring so fast so early in the game that
(30:04):
you know, in tighter games that does that does tend
to string down a little bit the scoring. So I
think I think I saw someone had over seventy took
under seventy nine or something like that or under seventy eight,
and you know close the sixty nine points.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
So yeah, eleven by the twelve twelve is the live
line and forty three but yeah, you know, Jeff, are
you saying I mean the interrupt Bryan's turn here, but
are you saying that when a game is higher scoring,
automatically you'll go against that trend.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
Well, when a game has like a high total, right
and it comes out like let's say a game is
like a total like seventy two, and both teams score
early in the game a lot, like let's say, if
there's fourteen to fourteen after four drives. Sometimes that that
live totals like in the upper eighties nineties, I'm taking
the under. Come on, like, we're not doing that. That's
(30:53):
what I like to do, not onlike a not only game.
If like Iowa Wisconsin start fast and it goes I'm
I'll just stay away from that type of game taking
under like that.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, looking at the live props, thinking with the Titans
falling behind by so much DeAndre Hopkins set forty eight
and a half receiving yards. I mean, at this rate,
Ryan Tanneil is gonna have to throw it a lot.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
If you like those live props.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
That's an amazing market.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
And really I can't have that market.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
It's so much to swallow. You're right, you're right, but
don't you But Brian has talked about it a few
weeks now. He's this, this is really an amazing market
that goes up mid game. How these all these these
bookmakers keep up with live props. Wow?
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
And last week they had it where with the Bills
and the Jags on the bed MGM app, they.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Were doing these head to head deals.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
So the Bills fell behind early and it would be
I forget the matchups, but it would be like Stefan
Diggs versus Christian Kirk and they'd have like who's going
to have more receiving yards. There might have been been
a line on that, like I don't know, Stefan Diggs
minus nine and a half yards or whatever, right like that,
But I don't see anything like that today. But every
(32:12):
now and then you can take advantage of that just situationally.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
You're like, I'm on the bet MGM site all right
right now, on the app, I'll tell you they have
almost they have a lot of players. Live odds on
on rushing yards by Jackson Edwards, Henry Hill. I go
on and on and on both quarterbacks over under passing yards.
Speaker 5 (32:29):
I take the under for Jackson right now, right, I mean,
like he's not going to run the ball much. I
don't think the rest of the game.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
At the thirty six and a half at bet MGM
thirty six and a half yards.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
Yeah, yeah, that's not a bad idea, not a bad
idea at all. Hey, are you in on Matthew Stafford?
I saw Jeff his prop BET rushing yards.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Is two and a half?
Speaker 5 (32:49):
Two and a half?
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Did they against their.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
He got none last week?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Right?
Speaker 5 (32:52):
I think I would go back to that. Yeah, yeah,
I'll be fine with it.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Yeah, back on the train. I love that?
Speaker 5 (32:57):
Why not? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Two yards?
Speaker 1 (33:00):
It two and a half?
Speaker 4 (33:02):
Yeah, a little little three yard scramble. Hopefully we avoid
the kneel downs.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
At the end.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Let's go.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
Yeah, all in all right, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight
year NFL veteran Bill Krachenberger from Crackwings dot Com.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
I'm Brian no coming up next.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
Oh, we pull our picks together, a little parlay platter,
and we've got some rebounding to do. Because last week
was freaking awful. All the way around, we were we
were way off our game. I feel good about today's
parlay platter. We'll see if we crush one. That's on
the way. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented

Speaker 1 (34:06):
All let's do this.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Check this out with parlay letter, great timing.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
Speaking of parlays over here, huh, we have one for you.
We each have one selection, a side or a total.
We group everything together for a bigger payout. We'll start
with you, crack.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
What are you thinking man?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Listen? After talking to our guy over there at MGM,
I'm gonna have to stick with my my normal rule
here every week, and I'll be going because I've been
winning with you know, going against the public. I'll go
with the ugly Cleveland game over San fram with the
points could be listen, this total is only thirty six
nine and a half points. Probably gonna go to ten.
(34:45):
I'll probably look for a ten if I kickoff at
one of these obscure rogue books, so to me, Cleveland
with the points go against the public.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Okay, would you do it at nine and a half there?
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Crack? Yeah, Well for our parlay platter, I'll have to
say plus nine and a half, because that's the bark
out there. Yeah, there's a couple of nine and a
half's minus fifteen. Now, I think we're gonna go to
ten on this. Probably you'll find a rope ten.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Thank you. All right, So my two choices, I'm gonna
arrow this down here, but I like Carolina plus fourteen.
There's plus fourteen now they're desperate for a win. Obviously,
Miami has the Eagles next weekend, sort of a look
ahead spot, which is more of a college football thing,
but just in general, Miami's played really good football and
they have a kind of a chance for redemption for
(35:27):
the Buffalo game and Philly next weekend. But I'm not
gonna do that because the Panthers still scare me, like
this game could very easily be thirty five to fourteen, right,
Like it's I'm gonna go Buffalo team total over twenty
nine and a half. A couple of reasons why. One
is the last three years after a loss average thirty
one points a game, thirty one point seven points a game. Two,
(35:47):
they played terrible last weekend in London. They're back home
this weekend. They played better at home. They score more
points at home. They've scored over this number three times
this year. They're playing a Giants defense that has nobody,
nobody healthy, no one in the whole healthy, right, Like,
there's a defensive score coming here at some point, Like
to me, this is you know, the Bills are well
in the thirties. It might take till the fourth quarter
(36:08):
to get over this number, but crack them and brit
them over twenty nine and a half here for the Bills.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Like where your head's at?
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Man?
Speaker 4 (36:15):
I do I'm gonna look at this Seahawks Bengals game.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
I've got under forty five.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
I'm just not convinced that the Bengals are fully back.
They beat the Cardinals last week, and that's great, but
it's the Cardinals. Yeah, so T Higgins banged up. I
don't think Jamar Chase has close to as prolific of
a day Joe Burrow was fantastic. I don't see him
being as good today. And the Seahawks are going to
run the ball a bunch. I see it going under
(36:43):
forty five. That's where my head's at.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
There are a lot of people in the Bengals today,
and I'm kind.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Of there are thanks very good finel right, I love
people are on the Bengals. They think that, you know,
they look at white form, look Bora looked. Okay, I guess,
but you're right, lots of MutS of any more.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I'm not It's not one of my five I played
this week but for the contest. But like I'm I'm
not on them at all. I the Seahawks are really good.
The other people realize that they played, let's get's a
way really good football. The weather is a little crumming
in the Midwest today, right if I if I if
I have that correct, I don't know. I'm not on
them like other people are today. I don't see it.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
How about Jeff last week in the Crack Challenge four
and one? Yeah, so his season record is now twelve
seven and one.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Wow, pretty solid.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Where do I find a handicapper to go twelve seven
and one?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Everything my on my podcast Joshwartz is smart than you. Again,
I preface by saying I had been exactly five hundred
for three straight years of the NFL, so like I'm
just prefacing fifteen eight and two so far. Wow, So
I'm due for a little bit of a aggression day.
I was again, I was zero to four and PAC
twelve yesterday. I feel like it's going to be a
bat my duckies. My duckies took a hard one last
(37:55):
It's gonna be a bad day today. I'm I feel
it right now.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
For grading purposes, Brian, there's all forty five and a
half on that game. A syndicate just came on, uh Seattle,
Cincinnati about twenty minutes ago over so you're against the
gambling syndicate, by the way, but uh, forty five and
a half everywhere, Brian, So it was the best. I'm
just saying, Yeah, I.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
Got I got Brown's plus ten earlier this week, so
I hope it goes back to ten for you. Crack. Yeah,
Thursday it was ten. It was ten on Thursday.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yeah, No, there were There was a couple of tens
up there overreaction for some of the square books here,
a total of thirty six. Come on what point.
Speaker 5 (38:35):
You're thinking about this game? I would imagine, but like,
this is a classic NFL game where you know, so
much is so much hype on brock Purty. He goes
to San Francisco and a bat. I mean the Cleveland
bad weather game. It just has a crimey.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
Game, bad weather and Cleveland defense. Yes, I know, I mean,
this is could be tough for him.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Yeah, I'm with you, agreed.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
I'm rooting for you.
Speaker 5 (38:54):
I'm rooting for you.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
That's that's that's that's what I say.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
I wonder how Christian mccaffery's going to play today because
they didn't give him a heavy heavy workload but a
little heavier than normal last week against Dallas and so
today against Cleveland. It's a pretty good defense throughout most
of the season. They had a stinker against the Ravens,
but been pretty good. And I don't know that they're gonna,
you know, give them as many touches as many carries
(39:21):
as they did last time.
Speaker 5 (39:22):
They always say that and then give them a ton
of carries.
Speaker 4 (39:24):
Anyways, they say it, but it's like, ah, man, there's
this bright, shiny object that we kind of like giving
him the rock. But I think today against PJ. Tucker
and the Browns. I'm not saying they're just going through
the motions and think this layup, but I just.
Speaker 5 (39:43):
They're untrustworthy. I'm not at home. It's unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Well, we'll hit on the Titans also, the matchups. We
were just talking about, more expansive coverage. Oh what's going on?
Happy week six to you. Here we are at halftime.
Ravens eighteen, Titans three, and just before a halftime Jeff
(40:08):
Schwartz alluded to it there wasn't enough time to talk
about it, but there is now. Kyle Phillips muffed a
punt fumbles Ravens recover with one second left before halftime.
He was trying to call for a fair catch at
his own ten yard line and screwed it up. Ravens recovered,
kicked the field goal right before halftime, just handed the
(40:30):
Ravens three more points.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Unreal.
Speaker 4 (40:33):
That is the twenty twenty three Titans in a nutshell
right there thus far. And I'm the guy I always
say this when you have, especially in college, like these
rugby style kicks and sometimes these a lot of college
kids they won't go up there and fair cat shit
and They'll let it just roll and roll and roll,
and I'm always like, why are you back there?
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Then?
Speaker 4 (40:54):
Okay, this was not one of those situations with one
second left, just let it roll. Who cares, you're going
halftime anyway. So a bad mistake by Kyle Phillips right there.
Speaker 5 (41:04):
You made the point they let it roll. The half's over, Like,
why you even touch that ball? Sure, there's no reason
to because you're not running a play. You're trying to
kneel the ball. And yeah, the going to the half
that's a bad I mean, I've justin Tucker on my
fancy team. I'm not I don't hate it, but also
that's a that's a kick in the in the pants
to the under first half. I think under first half
was twenty and a half and you now went over
(41:27):
so fully. What is happening in the halftime show. I'm
a fan of some of these concerts, but like, okay,
a lot. My favorite part of international games, by the way,
is all the fans in different jerseys for the different teams.
You're not even fans of the Titans or the Ravens,
but you know, Titians are very very untrustworthy away from home.
(41:52):
Like if this was a home game, which I technically
it's a home game for the Titans plus four, I
would have been all over it. Rabel home underdog, count
me away from home. This year, you ready, they lost
sixteen to fifteen to the Saints ahead and they scored
exactly zero off of the touchdowns, lost the Browns twenty
(42:12):
seven to three, lost the Colts twenty three sixteen, and
now they're losing eighteen to three on the road in London.
So Titians are in a bad place, which is I
think expect it. I have a lot of respect for Vabel,
but look at the offensive personnel. It's not good. No,
it's not good. And you know, Will Levis is not
solving the problems. You know what's not solving the problem.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
See what you're saying, that's what that That's what America
is saying. That's what everyone's saying. That's up. Now they're around,
they're watching now, it's eight o'clock in the morning here,
eleven o'clock East Coast time. They're saying, wow, man, halftime,
I gotta have action here. Who they betting? Baltimore? Give
me Tennessee Pickham minus twenty. It is a couple of
pick'ms out there even Actually, yeah, there is a couple
foreverular pickums. As a matter of fact, they may get
(42:55):
on an app and try to steal it.
Speaker 5 (42:57):
Crowd's gonna do put one million dollars on this. It's
bregular units, but.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
It's it's a really NFL and this this is like
a dim.
Speaker 5 (43:05):
Is this a full unit wager? Full unit?
Speaker 3 (43:08):
I will bet you know, a full unit and on
an NFL side is not what it is on a
college side, especially a college basketball side. But this is uh, I've.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
Seen you with your full NFL unit. Is it's not
a million dollars?
Speaker 3 (43:18):
But no, yeah, I said, I sent you some copies
of some game. I sent you some copies by action.
Speaker 5 (43:23):
Sent me with a stack of you sent me with
a stack of cash to go make some of the wagers.
Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
Oh no, that was different. Was that the Oregon? No?
Speaker 5 (43:31):
That No, that was we were we were in. It
was for props, we were in.
Speaker 3 (43:35):
I gave you ten thousand. I handed Jeff ten thousand.
We're on air, I did. I was like, but go
bet this real quick, and and and.
Speaker 5 (43:42):
And limited me immediately. I never held my life. I've
never held so much cash in my life. I almost
just put a twenty in my pocket and it's a
thank you, Crack, but I give all to give.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
You ten thousand all in twenties.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
That was O no.
Speaker 5 (43:55):
I just love that, like crackers, like here you go.
Buddy just pulls out like a ten rock of ten
and just goes here.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
You get two things from Crack.
Speaker 4 (44:05):
Okay, when we've been out and about one was that
exact trip in Cincinnati, and he busts out this stack
of money.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
He goes, I'm ready to fire.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Yeah, Cincinnati, I did good. We were in Mississippi and
it was a burial ten thousand. I don't think. I
don't think we can catch a ticket three thousand. They
were taking like three thousand on props. I was like, wow,
this is I'm so excited. And I went like ohing three.
Speaker 5 (44:31):
We got smoked in Mississippi.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Yeah yeah, yeah no.
Speaker 4 (44:34):
But the other thing I remember when it was Mississippi
and I live bet the Jets who were on the road.
I took, oh, I remember this against the Vikings and
Jeff he looks at me in his crack style and
gives me this subtle nod and goes, I like your bet.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Yeah, yeah, did it hit it?
Speaker 1 (44:55):
Did it?
Speaker 5 (44:56):
I feel like that trip we had no luck, and
then Cincinnati we were a little better. So it was good.
Speaker 4 (45:02):
Turned on us in Mississippi there Jeff so crack.
Speaker 5 (45:05):
Oh oh. The Chiefs game, yeah, oh my god, that
was unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
We have this roller deck, five leg prop bet and
everything hits. We needed the bread the Bengals in the
first half and they had to score. The way it
worked at the end of the half, it just needed
a field goal. They go for it on fourth and shure,
my god, they get stuffed and the Chiefs fan and
Jeff is like yes, he said yes, like you know
(45:31):
that ruins it was.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
You know, I'm not trying to brag about money or something,
but because I don't, I don't do that. I'm very humble.
Normally we talked about big money. That's just what I
bet it was. That was a twenty four thousand dollars swing.
And this guy's waving his freaking cannas.
Speaker 5 (45:45):
Because sometimes you just run my face, sometimes you just
lose perspective of what you're what you're doing. That wasn't
Who's was that my leg of the parlay or you're
leg the part.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
You had it too, No, yeah, that was you and Crack.
You and Crack were on that like.
Speaker 5 (46:01):
Chris Jones, like busting through the lineup for like the
Bengals ran that little fly sweep thing right.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
Sometimes you get caught up though you can't help yourself.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
I know it is excited.
Speaker 3 (46:10):
I went to the Las Vegas Golden Knights Stanley Cup. Here.
I bet like two grand each game on Washington because
of the value, and I'm actually rooting because the energy,
little kids. Everyone's screaming. I'm cheering with the Golden Knights
and think it was a Wait a minute, I bet
the other team. What am I doing? Yeah, so that
that happened.
Speaker 5 (46:26):
Sometimes that's why I don't bet on games I go to.
This is the one reason why, unless it's.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Like usually everyone does. That's really surprising.
Speaker 5 (46:34):
That's like a Hornets game. I don't really care, and
I'm taking my kid. I just want something to cheer for.
But if it's a team i'm rooting for, like like
the gold Knights, I would not. I don't. I rarely
bet an organ like I I I just don't like
I like, for me last night, if I had three
and a half for organ I'm I'm bumm, we lost
the game. I don't want to be like, well, I
guess I catch my ticket at least, And I just
(46:55):
don't feel that way. So I don't bet on teams
very often.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
That I that's opposite of everyone listening just to let
you know everyone's going to a game. They have action.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Well, true, most of them. Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 4 (47:10):
But the funny thing is too sometimes you know your
team so well, yet you don't feel great betting on
them or against them. A good example that same trip,
that same game, it was Chiefs Bengals. I'm watching with Jeff.
The Bengals have the ball. They're trying to run out
the clock and there are a lot of minutes. They're
like four or five minutes left or something. He's like,
(47:30):
it's over. I'm like, what do you mean, they just
need the ball back. He's like, they're not going to
get the ball back. It's done. And that's exactly what happened.
They didn't get the ball back.
Speaker 3 (47:39):
Yeah, and then Jeff will be the first one to
admit that Kansas City doesn't cover games. You'll be the
first one to admit that.
Speaker 5 (47:45):
They didn't cover. They didn't cover or do they know
they covered by a half a point against just like
just like the grossest Chiefs game of all time. Yeah
they do not, Yeah, they don't cover these they're five
and Chiefs are five and one right now. They haven't
played good offense, which you know it's gonna happen at
some point. They're gonna play better on and off at
to some point. The value on like Mahomes m v
(48:07):
P right now Chiefs Super Bowl is You're not gonna
get much better for a winning team right now to
take those wagers, because I mean an a f C.
You know, the Dolphins a gonna win today. They will
be five and one as well, So the Chiefs and
Dolphins will be sitting on the top of of of
of the a f C. But the Chiefs end up
getting home field again. I mean, their offense is gonna
(48:31):
figure it out at some point. Mahomes I think, is
is he first an m v P or a second
right now? Think?
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Yeah, we gotta check the odds because Josh Allen is
up there too, is up there.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
I would think Mahomes' number is the first. To be
honest with you, let's see what happens here. I'm gonna
look some.
Speaker 5 (48:49):
Of them aren't up today because of because of uh
that happens. To the end, they pulled down. But I
think the Chiefs, like any sort of Chiefs, wager to
win the a f C. I think this is gonna
be good right now. I mean, they're not playing good
football and they are going to probably host ant change
game for six straight season.
Speaker 4 (49:08):
By the way, let's work one game in here, Seahawks
at the Bengals. Bengals at two and three got the
win last week against the Arizona Cardinals, so it's it's
Arizona to pick six against Joshua Dobbs absolutely helped the cause.
The one great sign was Joe Burrow toward the end
of that game, who's had no mobility all season long.
(49:29):
He just tucked it and ran for ten yards and
looked good. I was like, WHOA, where did that come from?
So Joe Burrow's mobility seems to be trending in the
good direction right here. So against Seattle that's a big
big deal since he really bad against the rush. The
Seahawks obviously run it pretty well, so I want to
(49:50):
see if Joe Burrow, how's the mobility? And also he
was prolific last week over three hundred yards three touchdowns.
How does he fare against a much better secondary with
the Seahawks today. Yeah, so that's what I'm looking out at.
And obviously it's no versus syndicates far and wide. I'm
on the under syndicates. Everywhere seems like they're on the over.
(50:11):
So we'll see who it comes out. You might want
to go with the syndicates.
Speaker 5 (50:14):
I'm just saying, I uh, the Bengals defense has not
played well this season compared to what they have in
the past, and so you have a Burrow like is
Burrow really ready to go again? Right? Two straight weeks?
The weather's a little chillier in Cincinnati today. You got
the Seahawks team that's top ten in DVOA. They're really
good on both sides of the ball. They play good, clean football.
(50:37):
They're off a by Bengals are go to buy next week.
So you know, there's no like you know, there's no
look ahead for the Bengals or anything like that. I
just I would be very okay with the on the
Seahawks getting points in this situation.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
Yeah, and people look at.
Speaker 5 (50:51):
The Bengals and think, Okay, Burrow's back.
Speaker 3 (50:54):
Let's see yeah, just to go. There is lines up
on the MVP and Mahomes and Tua both five to one.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
You're not getting the best number of Mahomes right now. Anyways,
never mind they said something dumb, I wouldn't do it
right now.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
I like that though. Atleast you tell people what you
feel and you know you set up before and you
say that you don't let me think that over.
Speaker 5 (51:16):
And I think the Chiefs are just at a spot
now where people sort of don't like they're winning without
playing their best game on offense, which is not what
the Chiefs typically do. And I think that there's a
you know, a possibility that there are a lot of
value in them right now because they're going to play
much better offense, especially.
Speaker 3 (51:36):
Okay, give them a little breakdown in this game. The
Seahawks are three and one. They've looked good on both
sides of the ball.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
So pretty quietly, I would say, too right.
Speaker 3 (51:45):
And they're very quietly they'd be was did they beat
Detroit in Detroit? They may have won in Detroit even
in that game they did in Detroit, Wow.
Speaker 4 (51:53):
Yeah, because that was off the week one stinker against
the Rams and they went to Detroit and Wan.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So anyway, yeah, they may knock
off the Bengals today. We'll see and change some people's
opinions about these Bengals. People automatically think because Borrow put
up thirty four points last week that he's back and
you know what, he has his weapons back though, so
we'll see. This should be a good old grind out
(52:18):
type of game. I think. Let me see, let me
just see the total here, what it is right now?
Speaker 1 (52:23):
Forty five and a half. I'm on the undercrack.
Speaker 3 (52:26):
No, no, that's what we talked about. Yeah, yeah, I love.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
More huh me or syndicates.
Speaker 3 (52:30):
Well, I'd rather not say publicly.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
So it just this feels like a really big swing
game for the Bengals because think of this. If they win,
you get to five hundred, then you have a bye week,
you lose, you dropped at two and four, then you're
staring at at forty nine ers and then the Bills
at home on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
You have to win.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
This is a huge game for Cincy.
Speaker 5 (52:52):
Absolutely is a huge game for them, and they know that.
But I keep just crayding the Seahawks for some reason
because they just kind of there, this is going to
be seemed like, I mean that they're kind of boring,
like they're not a sexy team. Yeah, they they don't
really when you watch them play or not, you're not
wowed by the quarterback. I mean, Gino does some good things,
(53:13):
but it's not like a Burrow Allen or Herbert or
Mahomes or You're like even a Brock, perty would brock
pretty like, wow, look at that throw. You know you're
not it's you don't feel the way with Gino right, Like,
it doesn't feel that way. So I think a lot
of us, I think, discredit what they are. But they've
won a lot of football games last couple of years
with with Gino, right, and you put Witherspoon, is it
Witherspoon and Weatherspoon Witherspoon, I think it is onspoon on
(53:36):
Jamar Chase and like, let's get even though he plays
some more of a safety type brow, I think for
them like a cam Chanceller is what he reminds me
of more than a cover corner. So I'll take the
three points men in Seattle.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
Yeah, now That's where I'm at.
Speaker 4 (53:48):

are on our radar over here is Wow, Derick Henry
bustin loose? How about the Titans big run by Derrick Henry,
who had been bottled up until then inside the ten
(55:32):
yard line. I think You're probably a minute or two
ahead of me. I'm on the stream here, Jeff.
Speaker 5 (55:36):
So you went back to rewind it to see what
they did? I mean their best offense is when Ryan
Tannel's not at quarterback.
Speaker 4 (55:43):
Oh man, Yeah, they just went wildcat with Derrick Henry,
faked the end around and he was out the gate
for a good I don't know, sixty seventy yards.
Speaker 5 (55:54):
Can I tell you one thing very quickly about college
football that I like that you don't find the NFL.
So Utah has a their quarterback situation is just bad
right now, right Cam Raisey's out. They just they just
don't have like optione quarterback. Their starter yesterday had been
benched in what he was fifteen to twenty one for
(56:15):
one hundred and twenty eight yards. So what Utah did
is they took they took Vaki, who is their leading
tackler linebacker and put him at wildcat quarterback. Hid fifteen
carries for one hundred and fifty eight yards, putting a
seventy two yard touchdown like you wouldn't put you wouldn't
put Fred Warner a quarterback. And when the Wildcat in
(56:37):
the NFL, they just have done.
Speaker 1 (56:39):
That against the Eagles. I don't.
Speaker 5 (56:41):
It's just such like an incredible collegeable thing where like
you just, oh, well he was running back in high
school and whatever, he start leaning tackler on defense, what
evs We'll just put wildcat quarterback. It runs for one
hundred and fifty eight yards, like collegeable is the best.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
It's crazy, it is.
Speaker 5 (57:00):
It's hurt my under had on the game, but you know, no,
it was still fun to watch.
Speaker 4 (57:04):
We're on Malik Willis watch because Tannehill is limping around
like crazy. He can't Joe Burrow looks like Lamar Jackson
right now compared to Ryan Tannehill. He can't move at all,
And now you're just teeing off on the guy.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
That old line is bad.
Speaker 5 (57:18):
I took Ryan Tannehill. I can't believe that. I'm surprised
they posted it this year, Ryan Tannehill under passing prop
considering that he's old, can't move, and he might not
play all season. I feel very good that I did that.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
I think the season right season season yard.
Speaker 5 (57:31):
Under under three thousand, seventy five and a half passing yards.
Speaker 3 (57:35):
Oh god, yeah, lock it up.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Great about that.
Speaker 5 (57:37):
I did that last year too. I know I took anything.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
That's the only way you want to go look at
these things, guys. You know all these sportsbooks put up
a lot of season long player props, and I know
it's fun to root for offense and fun the root
for those players and your favorite player. And listen, your
your allegiance should be your bankroll, no player and no team. Sorry,
So uh under is the way to go on any
(58:02):
season long player props. You want one or two games
you know someone to miss, and you're you're gonna basically
win that. So it was like Tennessee came away with
a field goal. Here's a little grind in the back.
Speaker 5 (58:15):
I I've talked about this before. You know, I don't
like taking these unders because I feel like you're rooting
for injury. It's what you are, right, I mean, you're
basically saynders on what season season? Like, I like, I
do that. I told you, guys, I took it the
under it every starting running back this season. I'm gonna
lose McCaffrey right now, I feel pretty much okay everywhere else. Sure,
if you miss like three games like Sakwa Barkley miss,
(58:37):
you're not gonna hit your number, right, Like, And I
feel terrible because you're basically betting on injury, right I.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
Don't feel terrible. They don't care about you. Why do
you care about them? Sorry?
Speaker 5 (58:51):
Yeah, Like I'm not rooting like you know, Like you know,
Nick Chubb gets hurt and it's terrible for him.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
It's horrible.
Speaker 5 (58:57):
But like, but I have these all over now. We
don't want I wanted to get hurt, I know, but
I have like all these over all these unders. I
told you I took every starting running back who was
like a listed starter before the season as an under,
and I think I'm gonna get a lot of them,
except I think McCaffrey's like almost over his number already. Otherwise, like,
I feel pretty good about where I'm at. I mean,
you know, the rotation with some of the players is,
(59:19):
you know, like the these teams getting these like weird
rotations where they don't play the running back quite as
much as they did last year. I mean, Damian Pierce
only has eighty four carries this year, and he's like,
you know, I have him under as well. Like these
teams just sort of don't use guys quite the same
year after year. So it's a good spot to be.
Speaker 4 (59:36):
Yeah. So it was going to be pass interference on
the Ravens. Pass was uncatchable, so oh okay, they keep
the field goal. They look like they're gonna be set
up at the one yard line and the officials set
that ball was nowhere close to DeAndre Hopkins. We can't
call pass interference, so they settle for three points.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
You know. Of back to the subject of jeffres I.
Just just before we close off this, I got to
ask both of you guys. D you guys both seen
the bronxtail? Correct?
Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
No, I don't I don't know. I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Oh my, sorry, there's no reason to go any further.
Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
Uh off our show, guys, No, I mean like good
did you see?
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
You both seen good Steve Smith, go back to the studio.
Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
You both seen Good Fellows? Right?
Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
Yes, oh yes, many times.
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Thank the Lord, because I would have.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Had so introlled you and said no, no, no, I would.
Speaker 3 (01:00:23):
Have had to definitely be talking to mister Shapiro early
in the morning, and then the uh you know, back
at home here. Okay, well, there's a line in the bronxtail. Look,
Ki comes crying, and you know it, comes crying and
Mickey Mantle and he's crying and the mob guy says,
what are you crying about? He says, the mick Mickey Mantler.
They made him sit down today, the coach made him
sit He goes, that's what you're worried about. He goes,
He goes, go see if your follow loses his job tomorrow. See,
(01:00:45):
go see if you can borrow the rent money off
Mickey Mantle. He doesn't care about you. What do you
care about him? It's a great line. I figured you
both knew it. I'm gonna have to get you guys
on that Robert de Niro jazz promontary. So I won't
even go deeper. Then I'm going to give you guys
a full list like the Popa Greenage, Village, twenty ninth Street.
I'll get you on all the the old mob gambling
(01:01:07):
style movies.
Speaker 5 (01:01:09):
Black and white movies, crackerd No.
Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
No, these are cult classics.
Speaker 4 (01:01:13):
By the way, what did you send us the other
day where it was De Niro and he used the
bat and you know that?
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
So now that I realize that you guys aren't cultured
in the mob movies, I should probably explain that more. Sorry,
it's not a which movie was that though? That was
The Untouchables teamwork, part of a team. So the one
guy saying, yeah, teamwork, he's smoking a cigar and and
then he said, well, when one guy steps out there
and says I'm going to go out for myself, this
(01:01:43):
happens any baseball battled the men right at the table.
So uh, anyway, I don't mean to send that stuff
to you guys, And then you know, if you don't
get it, then it's probably like what is crack doing here?
So uh, but by the time the season is over,
we'll have all these Godfather and I'm sure you guys
watched The god Father last year. Scodfather. Thank you, Okay,
thank you, thank you. Okay, I'm good. Let's go on
(01:02:04):
with the football talk.
Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
Okay, we'll circle it back to the football talk. We'll
get to Crack. Same game parlay here.
Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
Oh yeah, I got that here.
Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Movie advice and parlay advice. Yeah, from Crack right around
the corner. First though, Isaac Lowen crawling with the latest.
He's got great advice too, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
I love.
Speaker 8 (01:02:21):
My great advice is if you're going to play a
clip from a movie, a Bronx tale to surprise your coworkers,
is to kind of make the attempt to what's the word,
screen it first and make sure there are no profanities
before playing it over the air. So luckily that is
(01:02:42):
what I just did. I was going to play it
for you to surprise you guys. But when you hear
Robert de Niro, you have an expectation that there's going
to be there for certain yeah, a certain amount of profanity.
So I was gonna surprise you guys, but unfortunately that'll
go out the window.
Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
And nice.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
Yeah, that was actually three scene that was actually pre.
Speaker 5 (01:03:08):
Screened and pre vetted.
Speaker 8 (01:03:09):
Fortunately, we've got NFL football on this Sunday already. Going
from London, the Baltimore Ravens with an eighteen to six
lead over the Tennessee Titans, eight minutes and forty four
seconds left to play in the third quarter. There's actually
so far just been one touchdown scored in this game.
(01:03:30):
Moments ago, the Titans, on a sixty three yard run
by Derreck Henry, took it down to the nine yard
line first and goal, could not get it in, had
to settle for a field goal. But Baltimore has just
turned the ball over Lamar Jackson with a pastor re
Shod Bateman intercepted by Tennessee's Sean Murphy bunting at the
thirty five of the Ravens. He just returned it to
(01:03:50):
the Baltimore twenty five for ten yards. So Tennessee gets
another opportunity here. They've got a first intent at the
raven twenty five yard line going in, but they trail
eighteen to six with eight thirty seven left on the
third and they just got called for a false start,
so it'll be first and fifteen.
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
Just right on cue.
Speaker 8 (01:04:10):
Hey we got some big news elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (01:04:12):
Get this.
Speaker 8 (01:04:12):
NFL media just reported that Miami Dolphins six time Pro
Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey is far ahead of schedule in
his recovery from knee surgery, and he could return to
practice as early as this week.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Let's go.
Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
Yeah, that just lets go.
Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
That's great news.
Speaker 8 (01:04:30):
I love just reported moments ago by NFL media elsewhere
in news that I'm literally being forced to talk about
by a number of people. Kansas City Chiefs tight end
Travis Kelce and music superstar Taylor Swift made it p
DA official last night. They were photographed holding hands while
walking into Nobu restaurant in New York City, before later
(01:04:53):
making separate cameos on Saturday Night Live. In a related story,
my wife and I's idea date night is holding hands
while walking into Sizzler, before later watching Saturday Night Live. Finally,
in college football, on Saturday Night, number twenty one Notre
Name defeated tenth ranked the USC forty eight to twenty.
USC's first loss of the season. They committed five turnovers,
(01:05:15):
including three Caleb Williams interceptions.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
Fellas back to you.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Thank You Ilo.
Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM.
Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
Let's do this.
Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
Sis, same game, Parlans.
Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
Okay, Crack, you've been in the lab. What do you
have for us?
Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
I built one of these that are correlated and this
one is really uh. I'm giving away one of my
props for later on, a strong prop that I like
under brock perty two hundred and nineteen and a half
passing yards the Browns plus nine and a half and
under the thirty six. So that's really a good uh,
(01:05:55):
it's a good return here. Wow, I'm actually surprised one hundred.
It's five hundred, all right, so we're getting four to
want one hundred dollars. Get your four hundred. Yeah, throw
a peanut of that and have some fun, that's all, eh, you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
Know, spirit shape throw it on there. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:06:11):
I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
I like this a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
I can see how you manufactured everything here. Where do
you stand on brock party in general? I know you
were tweeting up a storm about brock Purty there.
Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
Jeff with the Yeah, Jeff, what do you think?
Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
Man? Brock Purty is good. He's good. He is good
in the offense, he is good in what Shanahan wants
him to do. He's accurate, he's on time, he's not
sort of you know, he's not in the face of pressure,
sort of you know, nervous and anxious, and he does
what he's supposed to do. Will you just say he's good?
Like is he if you were to have a draft
(01:06:47):
of quarterbacks, is he drafting the top ten? Probably not.
He's just good. And I don't know why we can't
just accept that he's good. Now, he's good like that.
It's pretty simple. He's a good football player.
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
You know. I'll go on to the talk about this
team for a second, because this week, earlier in the week,
there was only one spot that had this. They had
the San Fran I don't like betting over on things.
You know, you guys know that, but Sam Fran overseason
wins over thirteen minus a dollar fifty laying some juice.
I really looked into this really deep, because you know,
they could pull up or you know, late in the
(01:07:19):
year because they they've locked up everything and they could
be like thirteen and two or something whatever, thirteen and one.
I just still like this though. I just don't see
them having twelve wins for the year. Put it that way.
So I look at it from that standpoint, and I
made a rather large bet on this just to let
even if they do put in the backup Sam Darnold,
(01:07:41):
I mean, he was a starter in the NFL there,
But yet I asked one of my buddies, who's real
sharp at stuff. He said, San Fran their backup. If
they get any key injuries, that's what hurts them because
their backups aren't that good except for the quarterback. So
their backups early aren't that good. So you know, bar
that happening. I like my bet over thirteen wins. So anyway,
(01:08:02):
I just wanted to.
Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
Look Perty's played well. You can't take that away from him.
I thought it was interesting. Earlier this week, Mike Sando
of The Athletic he did a side by side comparison
first ten games between Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott, and uh,
it was pretty interesting comp because they put up some
big numbers and he was surrounded by a ton of
(01:08:24):
talent early on with Dallas, and uh, think about how
Dak Prescott, what his reputation is right now. So for
anyone who's saying and I know you're not saying this, Jeff,
but there are plenty of party Paluza people out there
that are flying off the handle, and they're saying way
more than he's good, which is what you're saying. I
think that's accurate. They're saying, Hey, Tom Brady, it's like
(01:08:49):
the bro.
Speaker 3 (01:08:49):
No, they're they're for sure the Bay Area.
Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
It's a lot much So think about Dak Prescott, how
he started where he is right now. I'm not saying
that's a exactly what Brock Purty is going to be like.
But if you're not saying Dak Prescott, if you're not
comparing him to you know, some of the best quarterbacks
in the history of the game. Are you comparing him
to Joe Montana or Tom Brady, No, nobody is. So
(01:09:14):
something to keep in mind when we're evaluating Brock not
only where it is, but where it's gone ahead in
the next handful of years. We're talking the next five
ten years, not just twenty twenty three and ten starts.
Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
You know, Dak is.
Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
A good comp because of the when he came in
as a as a young player, he had the offensive
line four nine ers check, he had the run game check,
he had a good defense check. It's all the boxes
are being checked. But because of that, you don't need
to have you know, Patrick Mahomes running this offense right,
like again, like that is that's what he does exactly
(01:09:53):
what's required of him. And I think that that's really good.
And you don't have to qualify that by saying, you know,
or saying like, oh, it's only because of Shanahan's offense.
Maybe it is, but he makes the plays that other
quarterbacks haven't made this offense before, So just give him
the credit for that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
Yeah, no, that's fair.
Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
It's just what happens when dot dot dot you know
what I mean, what happens when he's not surrounded by that.
What happened with Dak when he wasn't surrounded by Zeke
Elliott who was leading the league in rushing, Well, he's
more average instead of special, right, So the same thing
could happen with Brock Perdy where just touchdown to the
(01:10:33):
interceptions Brock and Dak. Brock's at twenty and two, Dak
was at seventeen and two. Yeah, and then you look
at completion percentage when loss, it's very similar.
Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
It is something to keep in mind.
Speaker 5 (01:10:44):
I haven't thought about that because I could see sort
of you know, when when if the Niners don't win
a Super Bowl the next couple of years, I could
see when their talent sort of depletes that. Dak and
Brock look exactly this are Brock looks like Dak.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
Yeah, yeah, I think that makes a lot more sense
since then.
Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
Brady Joe mont A Right, Montana, We're just going a
little bit too far with some of that stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:11:07):
All right, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran,
was rooting for the Chiefs even though it ruined our
bet in Mississippi. Man it happens. Phil Krackenberger from crack
wins dot com. His allegiance is his bankroll. Baby, that's right,
I'm Brian No. Coming up next, something that brings us
all together here on the show. Prop bets, so many
(01:11:29):
prop bets will give you a bunch of picks.
Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Coming up.

All right, let's do this.
Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Prop it up player plays.
Speaker 4 (01:12:22):
Oh so many prop bet opportunities here, crack, I know
you got a just a It's like when you go
to the grocery store and you're completely out of groceries
and it's just a mile long. That's kind of like
the prop bet thing you got going on there.
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
What are couple of your place?
Speaker 3 (01:12:39):
Tell you what I'm doing right now. You will not
believe it. Okay, of course I am betting some. I
have a ton of props to give you guys today.
By the way, right now as I speak strictly on weather,
just like week one last year when we we all
cashed on these longest field goals under on the Chicago
game and the Cleveland game, both weather related longest field
(01:13:03):
goals under there's some you know, forty six and a
half on both forty five and a half maybe in
the Cleveland game. Looking to get down the under there
based on this best last thing I just got. Let
me give you guys some more. Can I give you
more right now? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:13:18):
Whatever you want?
Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
And usually it's one. I'm just I can't help myself here. Well,
I talked about it earlier in the same game Rock
Party under I like his underpassing yards. Sure, yeah, I'll
give you one other one I haven't talked about yet.
Do I get this now? I can't save anything for
the end of the show. I'm nuts. I'm Mari the
(01:13:40):
let me say the name, right, Demi Cardo, Is that right?
I don't have to know his name. The all I
have to know is how much money I'm putting on it.
Mercado Yeah, yeah, I actually yeah, yeah, I believe it
or not. I think he'll get some work today. So
I think over which I rare over for me on
his total yards?
Speaker 1 (01:13:59):
Okay, make it Air Act of Cardinals because.
Speaker 5 (01:14:04):
Connor is out.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
Yeah, But anyway, there there's four for you. Get on those,
get on those two. If you could find the longest
field goals, Boy, that that's a bad I think that's
a good bed. So there we go.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
I'm gonna try to find longest field goal right now.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's some props. What do you
guys got?
Speaker 5 (01:14:23):
I have a rock pretty under Ordy wager on that one.
I have under for Zack Wilson as well, one nine
nine and a half. You know, I know the Eagles
I think are without a couple of guys, but come on,
we're not doing this and he's that's not happening. And
then I have Gardner Minshew under two twenty and a
half on the road against Jacksonville. People like, people really
(01:14:44):
really love Gardner Minshew and I think it's a fun story.
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
They do.
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
But he doesn't like win a lot of these games.
I know we're talking about covering, but he he beat
the Ravens, that was his I think his second win
is underdog and like thirteen tries. But he's he he's fun.
He's fun as a quarterback. He's not like great and
we the last three years mean his entire courage, averaging
(01:15:11):
one hundred and ninety four yards per game. Like we
be Black, like he is. He is one of the
best quarterbacks NFL. He is an okay backup. He's on
the road again against a Jacksonville team. I'm okay fading
him in this spot.
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
I'm looking at Eagles receiver Davonte Smith. His totals fifty
eight and a half receiving yards. I'm taking the over
on that he did nothing last week against the Rams.
But sometimes this happens with the Eagles. You're just not targeted.
You're not a big part of the offense one week,
and then you're more of a vocal point the next week. No,
Sauce Gardner, I like the over for Davonte Smith. I
(01:15:47):
don't know if you guys are against me on this one,
but Christian McCaffrey at seventy six and a half, I
like the under today. The Browns have played good defense.
This could be a comfortable lead, and you'll lean on
the backup running backs more.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
And the Niners are smart.
Speaker 4 (01:16:04):
They're just not gonna use up Christian mc McCaffrey and
accumulate a lot of wear and tear in a game
against b J Walker and the Browns. You know, so
I think that he's gonna find ways to be effective.
But I've got under seventy six and a half. I'll
probably score a touchdown, but I don't know how many
rushing yards and how many carries he's gonna have.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
So I like the under there you guys like that
or no?
Speaker 5 (01:16:26):
Yeah, I mean they're gonna they're gonna ride him a lot,
just no matter if he gets if he gets loose
on aies, I mean Cleveland knows that to win. With
their defense though, too, they're gonna be geared up to
trying to stop him.
Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
Say, with their defense, I don't want I don't not
like it, but I didn't bet it though, so so
that means I'm rooting for you.
Speaker 5 (01:16:43):
That basically means that that that's like Brian's doing this
to your wager. No, like he's doing this.
Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
Doing it Jeff, I wouldn't. I would do this. So
that's not true.
Speaker 5 (01:16:57):
Screw your wager. I'm not doing that. How about this.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Weird get zero baseball bet to my bet?
Speaker 5 (01:17:03):
Right, this weird London game. It's just like the just
the what's going on there? The Ravens just play weird
football game, So like, did it's eighteen thirteen second half?
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
Bet is looking good?
Speaker 4 (01:17:14):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Tannhill took Tannehill took a bad turnover of a third down.
I don't know, just like a weird game. What does
close at three? Today?
Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
Five and a half? No? Five? And aah?
Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
It went out and five and a half.
Speaker 5 (01:17:26):
Oh yeah yeah, okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
Man, if you if you lay sick guys are saying that, look,
look what you guys are saying three five and a half?
It was four and five and a half and we're
right and it's right.
Speaker 5 (01:17:38):
In the wrong I was look at the wrong game.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
No, I'm just saying, isn't that amazing though? Because it
was four, like you know, thirty six hours ago? So
just think about that four five and a half and
where's it at now? Five? How can the game land
on five? It's early to say, but I'm just saying
the games land, it's amazing. So got to get the
best of the line, the best of the line.
Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
If you're betting, yeah, you're sweating it right now.
Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
If you laid five and a half, oh and the
ravens now lead by five, you're like, oh gosh, don't
do it to me, you know, Sorry, it was a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
Late in the week.
Speaker 4 (01:18:10):
Gambling gods, you know, So that's crazy how much a
half point or a point means in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (01:18:16):
Man, they can absolutely do you in. We got a
lot going on over here.
Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Many more games can this team rebound from the ugliest
Week five appearance that is on the way?
Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
Hang with us? Oh what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
Everybody?
Speaker 4 (01:18:29):
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday in the thick of Week
six already as Lamar and Tannehill sort of go ahead
to head. I don't know, not exactly a barn Bernard.
Been a field goal fest, couple of interceptions. Been an
ugly game. But we're looking for prettier games on the horizon.
We're gonna have to wait until tomorrow night. But how
(01:18:50):
about this matchup Cowboys against the against the Chargers. Cowboys
had the ugliest Week five performance getting dusted in primetime
against the Cowboys. This stat blows my mind, guys. So
over the last seventeen starts, Dak Prescott has passed for
three hundred yards one time, just one time. And we'll
(01:19:13):
see what he can do against the Chargers defense and
ceedee lamb. He's upset about not getting the ball more so,
see if they can get him going. But Dak Prescott
has to be a whole lot better. Three interceptions last
week and another prime time spot for the Cowboys. See
if they can rebound. Chargers only at two and three,
(01:19:33):
big game for them. They've got Jeff, they have the
Chiefs right around the corner here. So you lose at home,
you fall to two and four. Huge game for the
Chargers as well.
Speaker 5 (01:19:44):
If you age on this game, really good luck, because
we all this game is gonna go right. It's gonna
be two minutes left and Spanda State has got to
make a decision on fourth down well, and they're gonna
be up three down three. It's gonna be a very
Lowy's decision. Stally, I cannot wait to watch. I don't
I don't know. I have a no edge on this
game as far as gambloys. The Chargers are two and two.
(01:20:05):
By the way, they have a bye they so they
they're two and two. This game to me is about
which coach doesn't screw it up more, which is a
terrible place to be in, right, But that's sort of
where these coaches are right now. Where Mike McCarthy Dallas
Cowboys head coach. It's it's very funny that, you know,
(01:20:27):
he claimed that he had watched every Cowboys game. He
has PFF subscriptions. Therefore, he was gonna be a different coach,
you know, the next time around. And when you watch
his offense. This is first year calling offense for the Cowboys.
Remember Kellen Moore was there. It looks exactly like his
offense is at Green Bay. They are it's boring, it's stale,
(01:20:51):
not much happening. Dak Prescott has nowhere to go with
the ball. On the other side, Kellen Moore with the
Chargers man, their offense looks so much better this year,
much better in the red zone. Herbert looks good now
that the Charges issue again as their head coach, I
think is just not very good. So I would stay
away from this game. I think the Chargers win, even
(01:21:12):
though it's not really a home game, because there'll be
probably more Cowboys fans and so far than there will
be Chargers fans. I've seen. The Chargers are better ish
right now, barely better, somewhat better.
Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
They get Austin Eckler back. That's a big deal.
Speaker 5 (01:21:26):
It's a big deal for that. The yeah, and by
the way, Ryan tanniels out for the game of the
Peers for the Titans, so uh, Malik Willis is in.
They're down eight, so we'll see what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
I still like my second half bet even with the backup.
Speaker 5 (01:21:42):
Well, the Ryman's keep kicking field goals. They've kept five
field goals today, so it's been a Jesus Yeah, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
Five field goals and they missed an extra point or
they went for two.
Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
They went for two. Okay, well the extra point.
Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
They went for two and got it, but I think
it was offensive pass interference.
Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
It was like Jeff said, wow, and.
Speaker 5 (01:21:59):
Then they go and then they got blocked the extra point.
So yeah, so there, that's that's why you're at twenty
one to thirteen right now. Dan Lanny would have gone
for it to go for the points, go for.
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
Glory if he would have gone for two after the
I am I am.
Speaker 5 (01:22:15):
By the way, I am also I am to continue
to be a large fan of what Daan Lanning is doing,
and I appreciate him being aggressive.
Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
In the story, Jeff said he's staying off a prime
time Monday night game. I can tell you someone that's
not America. America's team playing on on Monday Night football,
you can guarantee no matter who plays, actually, people are
going to have action on Monday Night Football, no matter
how many times I could talk and tell people, you
don't have to watch the game. You don't have to,
(01:22:41):
you know, watch the game with a bet on it,
just because he's on TV. They say, what are you crazy?
Especially the guys where I'm from on the East Coast,
they want to kill me. Gotta have action or I'm
not watching the game. So everyone's gonna have a bet
on this somehow. But I agree it's a game you
could actually sit back and just watch. Uh. Of course
I'm gonna have some prop bets on it in there.
But it's probably the bigger game for the Chargers for sure.
(01:23:04):
They don't want to look ahead going into Kansas City,
as one of you guys said next week, going in
two and three. They're two and two on a season,
Is that right, guy?
Speaker 5 (01:23:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:23:12):
Yeah, so yeah, they don't want to go in two
and three going into Kansas City looking at two and
four staring at him in the face. So I probably
would think it's a bigger game for them. And listen,
I have Dallas futures and even though I'm a favorite
right now, still on my over nine and a half wins.
I'll just tell you they have disappointed me. I have
a future on them to win the conference and stuff.
(01:23:32):
Oh yeah, they look horrible at times. It's dack too.
It's that listen. They pay these they've been paying these
quarterbacks like sick money. I said it the other day
on on Gottlieb. I mean these agents should be arrested
for larceny. I mean it's amazing the money. Dan Danny
Diame's getting forty million a year for four years. I
mean it's six one hundred and sixty million. I'll even say, well,
(01:23:54):
I won't pick on other quarterbacks right now, but there's
a lot of money out there. It's funny. My wife
and I drive past the stadium last night we went
to go see Line l Richie, and we're driving past
the stadium and she had no clue that. Of course,
she doesn't know that the Raiders are home. She doesn't
know the stadium sold out. We were with with to
the show with some people that paid seven hundred dollars
(01:24:15):
each for their seats to go to the game today,
and she's like, seven hundred dollars. It's not seven hundred
dollars ago for a football game, right, said yeh, second market, yeah,
secondhand market. Yeah, it probably is, even though they're not
good this year and they're playing a team that just
got destroyed the last couple of games. Yeah, it probably is.
And she was like, oh my god, that no way
it sells out. She didn't understand that they play eight
home games and yes, every one of them sell out.
(01:24:37):
I explained to her the licensing feeding of stuff, and
she said, wow, all that money, they should pay the
players more.
Speaker 1 (01:24:43):
I was like, what they said, do you even know
what there's more?
Speaker 5 (01:24:47):
Pay us more?
Speaker 1 (01:24:48):
Yes, yes, they would pay them play with more money.
Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
We need, yes all the time, give us more money,
more and more money.
Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
But anyway, that's just some things on.
Speaker 5 (01:24:58):
If the Cowboys don't win and the Eagles win today,
there'll be three games back already in the NFC East standings.
Speaker 3 (01:25:05):
Yeah wow wow, So it's an important game for them
to see how that's something to take into the consideration too.
Like you said, there be a lot of Dallas people
in the stands right there at LA right, Yeah, oh yeah, a.
Speaker 4 (01:25:14):
Ton of not those Eagles that you bring them up
there jeff Or five and zero at the Jets today
and uh, weird game to handicap because of the injuries.
You look at Jalen Carter, also Darius Slay. They're out
for the Eagles. The Jets are without Sauce Gardner. They've
lost Elijah Vera Tucker, who's the best offensive lineman.
Speaker 1 (01:25:35):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
So the injury issues, it starts to get a little
bit hairy when you're trying to figure out what's going
to be what when you have big names like that out.
Speaker 5 (01:25:45):
That's why depth is important. Right, So you said Jalen
Carter's a right, I have that correct, Yep, Okay, Well,
the Eagles have like four other defensive tackles that can
play well. Now, Darius Slay being out's a problem. Sauce
Gardner being outs of problem. But the Eagles defensive line
is so good that you know Carter obviously, you know
he's important to have, but they don't they don't need him,
(01:26:06):
right per se, they have other dudes.
Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
There'll be a lot of Philadelphia people in the stands
to right up the parkway there up the turnpike. Actually,
uh and yeah, I don't even understand. So yesterday, I'm
I'm I'm home and one of my guys, one of
my main guys, text me. He says, I sst Carkter.
He wasn't even listed on the injury report injury list.
How did they get a concussion? Like, it's didn't affect
(01:26:31):
the line?
Speaker 5 (01:26:33):
Give me so I can explain this. So concussions are,
you know, they're still being research and they're still being
kind of figured out how they function. But one thing
that it's not talked about enough is that there are
players who develop symptoms long after games. So there are
players that get their bell wrung on Sunday and crack.
(01:26:54):
There's no symptoms still Wednesday or Thursday or Fridays.
Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (01:26:57):
Yeah. It's one thing that players have done a much
better job of as we've become more you know, there's
more awareness to concussions. Is players do report that. You know,
they'll come in on Wednesday, on Thursday, but my head's
a little fuzzy and sleep well, you know, my head,
and they'll do the impact test and they'll do other
testing they'll be do I We had a player one
(01:27:17):
time on Saturday develop a headache from the previous week
and got mosconcussed. I had to miss the game. So
that thing. My concussions, they're not It's not always immediate,
which is why they're scary, right, because the effects of
them if you if you get hit in the head
on Sunday, you don't feel till Wednesday. Not great, right,
So I appreciate when when players sort of pick up
(01:27:38):
on that and are able to just be honest with
the team like, hey, guys, I don't feel right. I
have the symptoms now. And that's sort of an important
part of the education of concussions for players.
Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
Wow, okay, so and they're uh yeah, it looks like
they're having both of their cbs out there. They're number
one guy. I mean, listen, I just expect, not that
I expect the giant line line move, but I thought
it was going to probably go to around seven. And
here in Vegas we do have a couple sevens up
there now, but it's pretty much six and a half
almost everywhere, including bet MGM. I just thought it would
(01:28:13):
affect a lot, But then again, they don't want to
move to that key number of seven. I understand, Uh,
you know, I believe it or not, guys, I wouldn't
be laying it on the road here with Philly, even
though there is a lot of Philly fans in the
in the you know, Giant Stadium there, their home stadium.
I still wouldn't be laying it, if anything, with the seven,
(01:28:33):
I'd probably be taking it if forced to bet one
side or another, Yeah, don't.
Speaker 5 (01:28:38):
I would not lay seven with the Eagles here. Yeah,
I don't like it.
Speaker 4 (01:28:41):
Jalen Hurd's been running a lot. Fifty five carries in
five games, so you know, do the math. That's eleven
per game.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
That's a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
Second most rushing yards of any quarterback in the NFL.
Four touchdowns, that's tied for the most this season. So
curious how much running he does today. You see the
Jets man a lot, and we've seen it the last
couple of weeks, right, we saw Russ do it last
week against the Jets. Russell Wilson rushed for a bunch
of yardage. We can't forget about Patrick Mahomes the week prior.
(01:29:12):
Where it was what was it, Jeff third and twenty third?
It was third and forever and he rushed right up
the middle for a first down.
Speaker 5 (01:29:20):
Yeah, yes it was.
Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Yeah, Yeah, keep your eye on Jalen Hurts his rushing yardage.
The total right now is at forty four and a half.
I don't know, when you see those quarterback rushing numbers,
you got a great on a curve when it's Jalen Hurts.
He's just not your run of the mill quarterback when
it comes to rushing. So it's still a little bit
hairy to get that one pegged as well. Hey, we
(01:29:42):
got a lot more going on over here. Bet MGM
is now available under one wallet in select states. For example,
if you're in the DMV area, no need to worry
about making separate accounts for DC, Maryland and Virginia when
crossing state borders. Simply log in to your existing account
instead of creating a new one. We've got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran. You know he's okay with the
(01:30:05):
aggressiveness of Dan Lanning. Lanning, but no margin for error
from here on.
Speaker 1 (01:30:10):
Out for your duns. You know that's where it is.
Speaker 4 (01:30:13):
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper, I'm Brian
No coming up next. You've heard of The Good, the Bad,
and the Ugly, the famous movie. It's just been the
bad and the ugly for this team, we'll preview their
game coming up. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
(01:30:33):
to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. Once a day play betmgms
free to play eight Bit Barry for a chance to
win daily prizes. Play his Hall of Famer Barry Sanders
and choose to spin, stiff arm or juke your way
to the end zone to win prizes. If Barry scores
a touchdown, you score a reward.
Speaker 1 (01:30:53):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
So man, a lot of games, we'll just go cliffs
notes version, you know, quickie style on some of them.
Hit his many as we can here. But you look
at one of the more intriguing matchups, not record wise,
but the Patriots. Man, it has been the bad and
the ugly for the Patriots. They are one in four
right now. The last two games they've been outscored seventy
(01:31:17):
two to three, and they're taking on the Raiders.
Speaker 1 (01:31:21):
So Patriots Raiders.
Speaker 4 (01:31:23):
Raiders off of that nice win against the Packers at home,
but not prolific, not scoring a ton of points over here.
So you look at the Raiders, they averaged eighteen points
a game this season, New England averages eleven eleven, so
probably not a barn Burner totals at.
Speaker 1 (01:31:40):
Forty one and a half, I don't know that they're
hitting the over man.
Speaker 5 (01:31:43):
I really wanted to take New England this week, but
I took them. I'm zero for three betting on the
Patriots so far this season. Yeah, so what I lost
last week and two weeks ago, I should say, and
I'm just not gonna do it like that. I think
the Patrier's plus three is totally totally the side here,
(01:32:03):
But like, how do you have faith in them right now?
Mac Jones on a short leash, like I think mack
any sort if you can find any sort of Mac
Jones numbers out there, I would do it because if
he struggles today, they've said he's gonna he's gonna be benched.
And you have a defense that is just really beat
up right now, a team that's lacking all sorts of confidence,
and you have the Raiders who just stink. It's just
(01:32:27):
this is a game I'm I'm I'm not gonna watch.
I know it's like by itself in the afternoon. It's
one of the few afternoon games but like, come on,
it's it's not you can't watch this game. It's a
bad football It's two bad football teams playing for possibly,
you know, the chance to get the first pick of
the draft.
Speaker 3 (01:32:43):
You guys, don't hear Jeff talking like that? A former
NFL retired player say, no, they just stink. That's probably
the good definition of the Raiders though. You're right, Jeff.
They they take a lot of flak here. They really
do in town and professionally too. I mean, you're right,
and this this is the spot, by the way, I
(01:33:03):
almost pulled the trigger on New England here, but a
lot of sizes almost. It's a good spot for Jones though.
The Raiders defense has been pretty bad, so it's a
good spot forming Like you said, this could be the
last one form. He's looked terrible for so far this season,
and he's might get replaced if he has a bad
(01:33:24):
game here. You know, the Raiders run game has also
really struggled too. I'll just tell you, like Jacobs is
doing nothing this year. Really, I'll just tell you this
is probably a good spot. Boy. I tell you I
have I have uh you know, three hours and a half,
three and a half hours here to decide something here.
I don't really like betting a lot of NFL sides,
as you guys know, but boy, I would love to
(01:33:45):
see some home cooking coming in at one of these
sports books here in town and then put up three
and a half. Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (01:33:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:33:52):
The weird thing to one of the weird things with
the Raiders is Hunter Renfro. I don't know if he's
invisible now. He's just not getting the ball at all.
He's got six catches on this season, and you rewind
in his twenty twenty one season, he had one hundred
and three catches for over one thousand yards, had nine touchdowns.
He's just not part of this offense. He's just out
(01:34:14):
there running around. I don't know what's happening with Jimmy
g and Hunter Renfro, but he's not looking his way
hardly at all.
Speaker 1 (01:34:22):
It's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
I see the offense is it's just not running at
optimal level right now for the Raiders, and so I
think Renfro. You know, they trying to force Adams a
lot and it just ends up costing Renfro. You know,
those a lot of those targets.
Speaker 4 (01:34:39):
How about this game too, Saints at the Texans. Texans
a slight home underdog, and man, you look at the Saints,
they just they're kind of like the uh, the Mike
Rabel Titans of the NFC. I mean there are similarities
right where they play good defense, no prolific offense. Sure
(01:35:00):
you can find differences, but they have a similar style
as the Titans. And hey, they've they've rattled off a
couple of wins here thirty four nothing, yeah, thirty four
or nothing against the Patriots. Crazy right there. But they
are just one of those sort of boring Titans esque
(01:35:21):
teams that they can win with defense, make the game ugly,
and come out with the win. They're probably trying to
do the same thing today against Houston. They'd be just
fine with that.
Speaker 5 (01:35:31):
I like Houston here in this game to win and cover.
It's a good opportunity to fade the Saints after that Patriots,
because I think the Patriot are really that bad. You know,
up until that game, the Saints I had scored four off
at the touchdowns in four games and then went to
New England had a great game. Houston is feisty. Man,
They're getting They're getting like better each week. You know,
(01:35:52):
they slowly just kind of like stacking good things. They
know they're not winning all the games because sort of
stacking good things on top of good things. I just
love fating the Saints back to back road games here
Derek Carr back on the road, short home dog and
in the Texas. That kind of tells you where and
how they feel. This game, you know, could go between
these two teams. I like it. I like taking in Houston.
Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
Here Strouds are easily the best quarterback out of that
whole class of new quarterbacks. You know, yes, also I
agree with that. I just Houston is one of the
worst teams against the run. So the Saints will hopefully
have to, you know, count on Derek Carr. I guess, well,
hopefully hopefully they won't have to count on Derek Carr.
(01:36:35):
I am not a car fan. It's another guy that
got four years, one hundred and fifty million. Oh God,
what these agents are great. We have to get these
agents for ourselves here too. I'll just tell you the contraence.
Speaker 5 (01:36:45):
What you're getting paid for this show.
Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
God, I can't believe what these yeah close, but you
know they're coming off that big high thirty four to
nothing win. The Saints too. I have no no opinion
on this game. But the line opened up a two
two and a half. At the two originating sports books
that put the lineup, it's still two to two and
a half. I don't think the public is This is
one of those stink games. I don't think the public
(01:37:07):
is even you know, looking at either side. If anything,
I would I would probably lean home dog if anything,
but I'm not. Don't looked about it.
Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
Yeah, no interceptions yet for CJ.
Speaker 4 (01:37:19):
Stroud, so we'll see. The Saints been good. Interception seven
this year, so maybe the first one for Stroud. He
set a rookie record most attempts without an interception to
begin its career.
Speaker 5 (01:37:32):
So the reason why wagering is so fun is because
this game in London right now, it's twenty four to thirteen.
Tennessee's down eleven points. They're not going to win this game,
right but they can still cover.
Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
They can and so.
Speaker 3 (01:37:47):
Watching this game, great point, Jeff.
Speaker 5 (01:37:50):
They I have no money on this game. I have
nothing on this game.
Speaker 3 (01:37:54):
They have the bolt midfield, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:37:58):
And it like they could just again, the points mean nothing.
They're not gonna win this game. They're not. They're not
coming back and win this game.
Speaker 4 (01:38:06):
But they can be he Jeff, maybe they'll do what
what what was it what Hawaii did last night? So
Hawaii's down ten, Yeah, the line of six, They're like,
let's get the field goal right now.
Speaker 1 (01:38:19):
And try to score the touchdowns.
Speaker 3 (01:38:20):
This was actually, yeah, well.
Speaker 5 (01:38:23):
Because because you can, because you can't, like you can
if you recover the on sec you can hail mary.
You can't hail mary a kick right to get the points. However,
depending on where where you got this number, if the
Titans go for two and fail, they lose by five.
So depending where you get the number, we end up
getting a push a win. Loss.
Speaker 3 (01:38:41):
Brought up some good scenarios, right, so you want to
be a gambler.
Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
Yeah, so it uh yeah, this is what we're at
right now with this game. Again, nothing to watch except
you know, the.
Speaker 3 (01:38:54):
The spreads and you know's listen. Like we said, this
opened up three and a half and went to five
and a half, and literally if they get a touchdown
and go for two, all of that, everything the whole
entire week, that every betting moment comes down to one
two point conversion.
Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
That's right on.
Speaker 4 (01:39:10):
Jeff's made the point numerous times where he feels like
he's drenched in sweat when he's got some money on
NFL games.
Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
And it's so true where.
Speaker 4 (01:39:20):
It's not just the games that land on the number
or right near the number. It's this scenario where let's
just say Malik Willis throws a pick and that's that
could very well happen, but you got to sweat it
out right now, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:39:33):
Yeah, he's also been sacked twice in this drive and
it hasn't changed the times ability to move the ball.
Speaker 2 (01:39:38):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:39:38):
It's like one of those things where the Ravens got
up holding penalty and it's just there. It's a mad
scramble to score a touchdown that it doesn't not going
to change the outcome of the actual game, but it
might switch a lot of money. I imagine the books
are on the Titans this morning too, So the Ravens
covering crack is not good for them, which is what
we cheer for, right, so we should root for the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (01:39:59):
To Yeah, I'm rooting for I'm gonna I have partnerships
in a big contest back East. One of the new
sportsbooks came in a giant contest we have. We're in
first place right now, we have Baltimore on our contest card,
so I'm rooting for that. But yet I made a
second half bet on Tennessee. Isn't it fun? Every bet
(01:40:20):
is independent of one another, and I don't even think
about that that the contest really, but someone just text
me about the contest. I forgot I had that. But
my money right now, I like to lock up the
Tennessee second half, which looks pretty good right now.
Speaker 1 (01:40:34):
Okay, speaking of looking pretty good right now, it's a
great description of Isaac lowand cron. You know, I was
looking great. I Low with the latest. What's going on?
Speaker 8 (01:40:43):
Bud Well, fella is the latest. I'm not actually not
gonna start in London. I'm gonna start in Cleveland because
the forty nine Ers and brown just got into a
scuffle during pregame warmups. Wow, it was on the forty
nine ers sideline scuffle between forty nine Ers and Browns.
I'm looking at multiple videos right now that we're shot
(01:41:04):
by reporters covering the game, and among the things we
saw a hard two handed shove by Deebo Samuel on
a Cleveland player and another hard two handed shove by
forty nine Ers offensive lineman Trent Williams on a Cleveland player,
So this happened within just the last couple of minutes
a pregame warm up scuffle between the forty nine Ers
(01:41:25):
and the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. Back over to London,
where the Baltimore Ravens up twenty four to thirteen over
the Tennessee Titans at the two minute warning and Tennessee
with Malik Willis at quarterback Ryan Tannehill out right now
because of an ankle injury, they have a first down
and goal at the Baltimore six yard line, as Willis
(01:41:48):
just converted a forty eight yard pass on a third
down and seven, So first out and goal coming up
for Tennessee at the six yard line of the Ravens,
one forty six left in the fourth quarter and the
Ravens leading the Titans twenty four to thirteen. One other note,
Baltimore's safety Kyle Hamilton was ejected from the game earlier
for a helmet to helmet shot against Titans receiver Chris Moore.
(01:42:11):
NFL media reported today the Miami Dolphins six time Pro
Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey is far ahead of schedule in
his recovery from knee surgery and could return to practice
as soon as this week. And finally, in Major League Baseball,
the Texas Rangers today officially added pitcher Max Scherzer to
their roster for the upcoming American League Championship Series. Malik
(01:42:35):
Willis just taking a sack on first down in goal.
There is a flag down, however, one forty one left
in the fourth quarter in London, Ravens leading the Titans
twenty four to thirteen.
Speaker 4 (01:42:44):
Fellas, Thank you, I lo it is Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM. How about this
Vikings Bears game? So no Justin Jefferson for the Vikings,
obviously a huge loss. One of the receivers in football.
Kirk Cousins the News earlier this week. He's expected not
(01:43:05):
to waive his no trade clause, so looks to be
sticking it out with the Vikings at least that's the
story as of right now. So who picks up the slack?
You could look at Alexander Madison, the running back. You
could also look at Jordan Addison, wide receiver who's had
some success, but somebody's got to take a lot of
the production that they'll be missing from justin Jefferson and
(01:43:28):
not exactly the eighty five bears out there. If you
haven't noticed that defense not not that great against the
rush or collectively for that matter.
Speaker 5 (01:43:35):
It's probably Addison, right, I mean they drafted him in
the first round. He's probably the guy that you look
at as having the ability. Now he's The thing about it, though,
is that you're not going to find a down the
field option right, Like, there's no Addison is a is
a short intermediate guy and he's done really well in
that role. But with but you're missing, you're missing, You're
(01:44:00):
you're missing that downfield threat of Jefferson. Sorry, I'm enthralled
by this game in London because.
Speaker 3 (01:44:07):
Like, mazing.
Speaker 5 (01:44:08):
So the Ravens have four sacks on this drive, four
sacks on this drive, Tensing's gonna score a touchdown. It's incredible.
They have four sacks and three penalties. It's it's pretty wild.
Speaker 3 (01:44:20):
And how did they even get down there? They were
at the fifty but they have.
Speaker 1 (01:44:24):
Just hit the running back and you're key almost house alway.
Speaker 3 (01:44:28):
Yeah wow, yeah, boy, you want it? Like I said,
it's a great thing. I put it up a lot
of my tweets. So you want to be a gambler.
This is going to come down to a two point
conversion if they get in the end zone here, and
you know, honestly, it comes down to line shopping. Guys,
you shouldn't this right now. And look at the screen.
There's fives and five and a half. There's nothing else,
nothing else but lots of both. So this is this
(01:44:50):
is why you have to like.
Speaker 5 (01:44:52):
You didn't go out of bounds. This is just wild
another penalty, Like what is happening here? The penalties just
as crazy?
Speaker 3 (01:44:59):
Wow, wow, have fun and uh listen, like I hate
to give myself a little credit here. This is why
I said, people are waking up. What do you think
they're bett in halftime? They're all bet in Baltimore. So
the books are going to get all the money again
here from the halftime, from people getting up from this
game being played across the pond at six thirty am.
So anyway away we go?
Speaker 5 (01:45:20):
Yeah yeah, Now penalty on the Titans that backs them up?
Speaker 4 (01:45:25):
Are you going on record, Jeff? They will be scoring
a touchdown?
Speaker 3 (01:45:31):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (01:45:31):
I don't know, to be honest with you, Yeah, I
don't know. I feel like that was their chance right there,
and they threw the block in the back like and
Willis should have for sure just gone out of bounds,
not fought for the extra yard like the time that
runs now because you just didn't go out of bounds
is Well, guess it's because the penalty. There's not a
time is not running. I guess it's kind of weird.
Speaker 3 (01:45:53):
Yeah, what do you show under a minute yet? Or no?
Speaker 5 (01:45:56):
No, it actually helps the Titans that the ball that
they had the penalty. Then there's one oh seven left
and the sacked him again like this, this is their
fifth sack on this drive. It's wild, like you should have.
Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
Yeah, I show forty one seconds on my live, but
then again I don't have the game just showing it
that's coming down to the end. Who isn't this fun? Yeah?
It is.
Speaker 4 (01:46:19):
I just man, we got to get these streams up
too close to live time, you know what I mean? Yeah,
I feel like I'm Jeff's on third down. I'm unlike
first down of the previous.
Speaker 3 (01:46:32):
It's hard to bet live guys. I'll tell you think
about the stream that being delayed, The books already have
a TV seven to ten probably ten seconds heads up
on you. So you want to bet live, you're probably
almost a minute if you're streaming like YouTube TV, and
it looks like the score is twenty four to sixteen, guys,
just to let you know, get so they keep the
field goal, just to spoil it for you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:46:53):
Sorry, So they keep the field goal, which means that
they're still that they need to on side kick now
yah to go for the hail Mary, and they don't
get it. Craft.
Speaker 4 (01:47:01):
So if with the Ravens, you're pretty much good. Yeah,
they'd have to recover an onsite.
Speaker 3 (01:47:07):
I have the h in the pool. But yet Tennessee
on the second half.
Speaker 4 (01:47:11):
So, by the way, did you guys see any it
was super late. Did you see any of that Colorado
State comeback against Boise State?
Speaker 1 (01:47:19):
It was insane.
Speaker 4 (01:47:21):
Colorado State was losing thirty to ten with just over
six minutes to get Jesus. They score, they get an
on side kick, they score again, they get another on
side kick. They ruled it off because they said they
were blocking before the ball went ten yards, so they
didn't get the next one. They were able to get
(01:47:43):
a stop. They drive all the way downfield, they throw
a hail Mary. Boise State knocks it down, but instead
of it going straight down, they knock it a little
bit forward in the end zone and a guy somehow
somehow catches it. They win by one. It was insane.
Speaker 5 (01:47:59):
I'm gonna put it on, putting on the highlights on
now and YouTube.
Speaker 3 (01:48:02):
You wouldn't think after Colorado, mon what was that Friday night?
Right Colorado? People throwing their money line parlay in there?
What was it was that score? I didn't watch think
it was a.
Speaker 5 (01:48:12):
Twenty nothing Colorado minus eleven.
Speaker 4 (01:48:16):
I was like, oh, sweet, oh, you're just like this
is great.
Speaker 5 (01:48:20):
I'm good. Call here Schwartz and then and then, and then.
Speaker 3 (01:48:23):
You imagine the guys though that. I know people in
this town, no matter what I talk blue in the face,
they'll still say, oh, that's this is an easy one.
Just throw just put the money line in there and
enhance the parlay, the money line parlay.
Speaker 5 (01:48:36):
You know I made the right decision.
Speaker 3 (01:48:37):
After I'm referring to people that they just throw it
in to add to their money line parlor. I think
I'll just throw it in with Buffalo and Miami and
it just enhances the payout. That's an easy winner, especially
then twenty and you turn it off, you go out
to dinner, you come home, and you go crazy. I mean,
it's just amazing. But these things happen and you see it.
(01:48:59):
You know, we just mentioned two different games here that
had ridiculous Yours is even worse though that, Brian, You're
you're the one you're saying six minutes left, Holy moly.
Speaker 4 (01:49:09):
I had Colorado State in game plus sixteen and a
half and they threw an interception, Boise State goes up
twenty and I'm like, you gotta be kidding me, and
they ended up winning the game. It's just funny how
you sweat a little bit and it's like, you got
nothing to worry about. It's gonna be fine, But you
don't know that at the moment.
Speaker 3 (01:49:28):
How did that on side kick work out? Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:49:32):
Raven's got it?
Speaker 3 (01:49:33):
Oh they did okay? Good because you know, I just
have an ESPN scoreboard on my phone. Yet I have
my don Best running and ESPN says Tennessee baller with
thirty six seconds thirty eight seconds, I'm like, did they
get the onside kick?
Speaker 4 (01:49:44):
But I don't see the You know what's crazy is
to college football NFL. It always keeps you guessing. Man,
where Travis Hunter at Colorado is a good corner and
he got torched by Io Manor. He had almost three
hundred yard receiving in three touchdowns, And it's like, where
did when did Stanford become prolific? They were for a night,
(01:50:06):
you know what I mean? Like, and you'll see something
today in the NFL where you're like, how could you
have possibly seen that coming?
Speaker 1 (01:50:12):
You'll see a few things like that.
Speaker 5 (01:50:14):
It happens, does it feel like it happens far more
often college FOOTBA in the NFL though, right where college
football just has those because the kids are young man,
they have these these these lapses, these moments of just
like you know, where it's just not as cleaner Christmas
it should be.
Speaker 1 (01:50:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:50:30):

Speaker 1 (01:51:02):
I have fallen.
Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
It was the opposite, right, I was one and four.
I'm a game under five hundred. This is unacceptable in
the Crack Challenge. I'll see if I can write the ship.
Coming up next, it is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
Kickoff presented by Bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios

Five games against the spread, we call it, call it
the Crack Challenge.
Speaker 4 (01:51:59):
All right, mister four and one Jeff Schwartz, very very
uh good week for you as you improved to twelve
seven and one. Yeah on the season, Very well done.
What do you have for us today?
Speaker 5 (01:52:13):
All right? Give me a Browns plus nine and a half.
That's what it's at right now and at GM, so
I got to take that. I will take the the
Panthers plus fourteen. Okay, jez Jags are minus four and
a half right now, I had Justice to minus four
and like, eat a little.
Speaker 1 (01:52:34):
Bit of a It would feel a lot better, wouldn't it.
Speaker 5 (01:52:37):
Yeah, I wonder if I could how do I adjustilize it?
Speaker 3 (01:52:41):
We could grade at four. We could grade that at four.
Everyone has fours? I bet MGM.
Speaker 5 (01:52:45):
Okay, So Jacksonville minus four, Oh, that's week all lay,
I'll lay the one fifteen on that. It's fine. And uh,
I'll take Texans plus two and a half. That's a
better number than I got this week. And give me
a Lions minus three.
Speaker 1 (01:53:00):
Those are my five de Troit minus three.
Speaker 3 (01:53:03):
Okay, Wow, that's a very I like your card, to
be honest with you.
Speaker 5 (01:53:07):
Very square Lions play. But I think like you.
Speaker 4 (01:53:11):
Listen to what Krag says about my plays right here? Okay, Yeah,
I'm rooting for you. Hell, I think I'm with you
on Jacksonville. I love the Colts just struggle like crazy
in Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (01:53:23):
I don't see it changing today. I'm gonna go with
the Patriots plus three.
Speaker 4 (01:53:29):
I know I've been doomed by them too, but I
think they get it done today.
Speaker 1 (01:53:34):
I just don't trust the Raiders.
Speaker 4 (01:53:35):
They don't score a whole lot of points, and at
some point, good lord, the Patriots have to do something well.
Speaker 1 (01:53:42):
I'm on Seattle today plus three.
Speaker 4 (01:53:44):
I don't buy the Bengals after one win against Arizona.
I'm gonna go with the Jets. I'll take the six
and a half against Philly. And also, you might not
like this. I probably don't stick the landing here in
your eyes. I'm taking Washington plus the point and a
half at Atlanta. Got embarrassed last week against Chicago, but
(01:54:10):
extra rest, you guys have good cards.
Speaker 3 (01:54:12):
I don't agree. I'm I mean, the only one I
don't agree with. I like INDI in the game. I
think Jacksonville probably not gonna travel that good. But you
guys have good cards at home though, No, no, no, but
I mean they traveled yeah, right, yeah, from one thon.
I just think, you know, maybe.
Speaker 5 (01:54:30):
The team coming back after London always always has had
trouble covering games.
Speaker 3 (01:54:35):
I'm not batting it, but I'm rooting for you. So
there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:54:37):
So he likes Jacksonville. You like the cards here?
Speaker 5 (01:54:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:54:41):
Yeah, I like your cards though. This is this is
a pretty good cards guys.
Speaker 4 (01:54:44):
Good job, Thank you real quick. Jeff on Detroit. Why'd
you roll with them against Tampa?
Speaker 5 (01:54:52):
I know you're just much I think they're just much
better than Tampa.
Speaker 1 (01:54:54):
Better team.
Speaker 5 (01:54:55):
Yeah yeah, I mean sure you can use the either.
They're on grass and it's a little warmer than usual,
but I seem much better than Tampa. And there's style
of football carries man, right, you play in the trenches,
play smart football. It's a field goal, it's not a lot.
I mean, obviously Tampa can still you know, cover this
game losing by one or two, obviously winning, but uh,
(01:55:15):
I mean it's just short number. I know, it's square.
A lot of people are gonna take Lions minus three.
It's a square road favorite. But sometimes I just.
Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
You know, nothing winning play.
Speaker 5 (01:55:27):
I took the Panthers and Browns. I have enough sharpened
me today. Okay, there you go. Alright, let's do this
rapid fire.
Speaker 1 (01:55:37):
Okay, quickly, you pick a piece. What do you have? Crack?
Speaker 3 (01:55:40):
I am going to go with you with the Jets today.
Luckily enough in town here I got a seven. There's
still seven's on the screen. But for grading purposes, six
and a half bet, mgm, hash.
Speaker 1 (01:55:50):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:55:51):
What do you have, Jeff for best bet? You said, yep,
I like Carolina plus fourteen. Yeah, I think it's a
good spot. Like they're they're desperate for a win, so
this is obviously they don't to win and cover this,
and I think the Dolphins, it's very easy to look
ahead to Philly next weekend and you play a bad
Panthers team, So give me the But the thing about
(01:56:14):
this game could be like twenty eight nothing in the
second quarter and I look at a dummy.
Speaker 1 (01:56:17):
Maybe possible.
Speaker 4 (01:56:19):
I'm gonna take another under Saints Texans under forty two
and a half.
Speaker 1 (01:56:24):
Both defense, bit I like it.
Speaker 4 (01:56:26):
Both defenses have played pretty well, so I don't see
this being a prolific day either side.
Speaker 1 (01:56:31):
I'll take the under.
Speaker 3 (01:56:32):
Let's do this.
Speaker 2 (01:56:32):
Also, this is the best play of the Day's.
Speaker 1 (01:56:37):
Adown all right, crack save the best for last.
Speaker 3 (01:56:41):
What is it doing really good in this space? Let's
continue this train here. Hopefully Rams and Arizona over first
half over twenty four, first half twenty three and a
half's out there, guys, you're still let you know, So
there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:56:54):
Okay, love that.
Speaker 4 (01:56:56):
I hope it's a great day and a profitable day.
Speaker 1 (01:57:00):
Everybody listening, man, thanks for joining us.
Speaker 3 (01:57:02):
Great stuff.
