Speaker 1 (00:00):
Don't listening. No Fox Sports Radio. Let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's go, big boy, let's go.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Let's go. Are you into the baseball tonight? Bottom of
the ninth inning? What a way? Two Zip Rangers? Because
that's uh right now, let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Is that still going on?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
That'll be careful. We got to make sure we give
all sports the coverage here on Fox Football Sunday.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I would have yesterday when I was filling in, but
there was no game.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
What was up with that?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Why?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I just figured you had two teams in the NLCS
and ALCS.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Let me get going, right, It's only Saturday night. Not
like you want baseball on a Saturday night though, or
anything like that, you know.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Right, And there wasn't like anything. I mean, listen, I'm
a college football maniac, but none of the real primetime games.
We're gonna do what Notre Dame and we thought USC
would do ratings? Why so? I don't know. But two
Zip Rangers over the Astros to Seger is all over it.
They're in the bottom of the ninth inning and there
is one away. But as we come to you live

(01:02):
from the tirack dot Com studios, tirack dot Com will
help you get there an unmatched a selection, fast free shipping,
free road hazard at protection, and over ten thousand recommended
installers ti rack dot com The way tire buying should
be you congratulations on falling behind and then scoring. Was
it thirty five unanswered? Forty four on answer? But who's

(01:22):
forty four? I was talking about your dolphins. I didn't
know that.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Oh I'm sorry. I think you've been in Arizona.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
No, no, no, I've moved on from college football. Now. It's
over for every one on the West coast, and that's
our biggest listening audience. I hear here on Sunday nights.
So hey, how is that USC? How's it going? Good times?
It's awesome to have a generational talented quarterback and your
defense can't do a thing, and then the one time
he has a bad game, nobody can do anything. So

(01:49):
good times, man, I live that. It's good fun times.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
You know, just because you're on that subject real quick,
and I know you're mister football. You're mister college football,
there's no doubt about it. But you do make mistakes
from time to time? Are you sure, Caleb Williams is
all that? I've just just just asking for a friend.
I you sure by because I got people tweeting asking.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Let him drive. I think you should up the draft.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
You're right, I'm just asking. You've been wrong before. You
know that, right, JaMarcus Russell, You've been wrong before.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
We weren't even doing a show together with JaMarcus, I know,
but I'm.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Just gonna talking about it. I just figure you like that.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
No, I agree with you, Arnie, now that I guess
the Raiders are good by proxy of the awfulness of
every team they played so far the Raiders. The Raiders
have three wins this season. Uh, the combined record of
the teams that they have beaten with those three wins
is four and thirteen. But don't laugh too hard. You
haven't heard the record of the teams your dolphinsive played.

(02:49):
We'll get coming up here in a bit. But listen.
College football stole center stage right from the implosion by
coach Prime. Guys remember him, all loved them. Everyone was
watching Cole's football three weeks ago. They blew a historic
lead to Stanford on Friday night. Then you had, well,
the way are.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
We supposed to mention the website so you can go
by merchandise or oh no, no, I'm sorry, that's during the game.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Bat, that's just during the game.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
My bad. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And then we had one of those preseason games that
we had sharp eat right where you kind of circled
Oregon in Washington and it ended up being the kind
of game that we wanted. Wow, right where you got everything.
You had a Heisman Trophy candidate disappear on Saturday night
in primetime. But listen, I'm not here to bury the lead.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Arizona Wildcat. You're right, girl away, Arnie.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
How about that? You know, could you imagine how they
beat game? Had they beaten Mississippi State in USC like
we were supposed to, well, let's just stick to us,
we'd be top ten talking about getting to the playoffs.
How about that?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I don't I don't really know if you can flex
on Mississippi State the way that game went. But you
finally found your starting quarterback and Arnie, Yeah. To get
to the biggest story of the day so far, quarterback injuries,
but more specifically with the loss of both undefeated teams
that remain with the Eagles and Niners both losing. Now
your Dolphins in the dreaded nerdy ridiculous pointless power ratings

(04:11):
in the NFL? Are they number one? Number one?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Nearly?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
First of all, I've been telling you they're number one
for six months now.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
The rest season hadn't been right.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Well, finally the rest of you have caught up to
me and all the rest of us Dolphin fans. We've
been trying to tell you. And I wish I would
have bet them to win the Super Bowl at thirty
to one, but I didn't want to jinx the team.
I think I could have gotten better than that. I
wish I would have put two, would be the MVP.
I'd be making a boatload of money. The only thing
I'd have to worry about is should I get a
red Lamborghini or a black Lamborghini? But yeah, I mean

(04:41):
they are the number one team in philidelp. Wait, does
Philadelphia look like the number one team to you? Does
Kansas City and that offense look like the number one team?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Is?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
It's it's gotta be Miami. And yeah, they filled down
fourteen to nothing. And I'm like, don't tell me they're
gonna lose the Carolina because I'm not coming in if
they're gonna lose to Carolina. I'm I was gonna tell
the boss I have scur or something like that.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Kirvy. That definitely be different. Yeah, I mean, I'm out
tonight scurvy. I got scurvy?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
What is that? When you don't need enough fruit when
you're out at sea? For like pirates would get scurvy.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I don't. I don't think. Well, I don't really know
what you do during the week, but I don't need
enough food.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Tiger week doesn't know. I would have just said I
got scurvy, and he's okay, to make sure you get better,
and I would have taken the day off. I couldn't
come into work. And had they lost the Carolina.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Well, congratulations to your Dolphins. They stayed alive. We'll get
into the undefeated's falling by the waist side, and we
have four quarterback injuries to update you on. But de
Sagar's got some breaking news because Arnie, it is a
final in Houston. Steve, we thought maybe there was a
chance that they could tie that game up in the
bottom of the eighth inning on a shot that went
to the fence.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
It did, but you know how odd that left field
wall is in Houston. They have the so called Crawfer
boxes that are essentially seats on top of the warning
track and left and then just to the right of that,
it's much deeper into left. Houston hit a deep shot
that didn't go into the Crawford buckets foxes to the seats.
It went still in the field of play and was

(06:08):
caught by the rookie at the fence and Jose al Tuve,
the runner at first, was at about second base seeing
if it would be caught or not, and he didn't
retouch the second base bag on the way back, and
on replay he was doubled off. Houston has just been
shut out. They've lost Game one of the ALCS at
home two nothing Texas. Keep in mind, although technically Houston
was the division winner, these two had to go to

(06:32):
a tiebreaker to decide who won the AL West. Houston
won the season series and therefore got a first round
by but they each had ninety wins during the regular campaign.
Texas to Houston nothing. Game two also on Fox tomorrow
afternoon for thirty Eastern Time and the Football Update. The
Buffalo Bills have scored to take the lead with under

(06:53):
four minutes to go. Josh Allen a second touchdown pass
of the fourth quarter. It's fourteen to nine over the Giants.
When they finally got on the board to start the
fourth quarter. That ended a seventeen play eighty nine yard
drive that took almost ten minutes. Bill's leading fourteen to nine.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
That was That was a pretty scary past there, Brandon.
For those that aren't familiar Brandon truf Our producer, who aren't,
he will act like he doesn't know even though he's
next him ten thousand times a day. That was the
scariest throw I think I've seen. I holding my breath
as it was in mid air. I'm not gonna lie past.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
To hear this man's screams in there.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
If the studios are still set up. I haven't been
to the new look the new studios, but Lorena and
uh so Brandon are in the same studio in a
separate studio, and then they that's the only person that
gets to hear Brandon's reaction to everything is Lorena.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
So you're telling me heard me down the hall?

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Oh there gets to you say, get by the way
getting the touchdown the unknown tight end Quinton Morris, Ladies
and gentlemen, A.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Bunch of fantasy people screaming and yelling about that.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I don't know who the hell was playing quarterback for
the Bears today.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Yeah, you'd agree.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
You don't know that dude's story.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Well, I know it was like Naia Division ten or
something like that, and his father was like the what
was it, like, the wrestling champion in the world or something.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
He went to Shephard. Don't you know Shepherd?

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I watch all their games.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Tyson Badge, badgened Okay, guess who they and guess who
they play next week too, aren't he They play the
Raiders next week?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Oh wow, that's the word for you.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I'm telling you. I'm here to tell you right now.
I wish I could feel better about where the Raiders
are as a franchise. He's I think most Raider fans
feel the same way I do. But I'm not complaining
with them winning, that's for certain.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
What does that say to every quarterback? Like in a
power five team, power five conference and they go, what's
his name again? With the Bears, what's.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
This Tyson badgery?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Because there's nobody else they could have gone with that
played at a major program. We had to go with
Division seven. A high school player to go ahead and
be our quarterback, and he fumbled, and he fumbled and
cost them six boys.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
The other guy is Nathan Peterman, right, and he keeps
coming up and down for the practice squad. For those
who didn't see the Jay Glazer injury update on the
post game today, the Bear's quarterback was injured in Chicago.
Justin fields. It looked like a hand injury. It's a
dislocated thumb MRI tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah. In fact, since you brought that up to saga,
let's go ahead and hit those other injuries again. Dislocated
thumb MRI. According to Glazier's report, it actually popped out
of socket and I didn't know a thumb could do that,
and he popped it back in. So there's concerns he's
going to be out a while. But MRI tomorrow. Ryan

(09:51):
Tannehill from an shady Sewan who I think, like me,
is having a hard time figuring out what to do
with his football season. He left with an ankle injury
in the third quarter. Ever, Lawrence had a fourth quarter
knee injury, and I think Arnie, this is the most
substantial injury as far as the playoffs and the visions
are concerned because you got this feeling that the Jaguars

(10:12):
are starting to hit their stride a little bit right,
and they dominated today. They played really well in a
win last week over Buffalo. That's three straight after starting
one and two. There, there didn't seem to be too
much concern. There's an MRI coming tomorrow. But Jeer what
Trevor Lawn said about ne injury said, he's never had
one before.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Oh geez, that's a good time.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Kind of astonishing if it's a Bruce knee. Even so,
keep in mind Jacksonville has the Thursday night game at
New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
That's right, they've got New Orleans is hot, man. They
they blew their kicker is terrible. If that kicker for
New Orleans gets on that flight home from Houston and
they don't make him uber back to New Orleans, I'm sorry,
he's got to go.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
He's from a big school, Arnie.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Yeah, he's from a big school. Why don't they go
down and get them? What you you and your disdain
for people that don't play in power?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Not enough guys from junior college that they could have
picked up. I'm surprised. How did you have to figure
that out?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Blake Groopie, did you your son?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Where'd your son play college hockey?

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Ken State?

Speaker 1 (11:12):
You think that he would be just as good as
any of those guys that went to Boston, you or
somewhere like that if he was given an opportunity.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Who a different story as Zach.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Freaking you're a hypocrite. The other injury that we're keeping
an eye on is maybe a playoff team, which sounds
as shocking as as it seems. But Jimmy G went
out with a back injury. And I was talking Brandon
before the show started. He didn't come out of the
locker room in the second half. I'm not real sure
when it happened. I don't think he ever really took
a big shot in the game. But again, we are

(11:41):
talking about Jimmy G. So you might breathe on him
and all of a sudden his arm falls off. But
they when was the last time you heard of a
non what's the best way to put this, like significant
hit or like a knee something where you you didn't
understand that they were going in. It's like, yeah, that's
probably on his way to the hospital and an ambulance
out of nowhere, Arnie. Someone tweets from the holes and

(12:02):
he's like Jimmy going in an ambulance.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I didn't. I didn't expect that.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I'm like, whoa, whoa the fifty year old sitting down
the couch when he turned and coughed at the same time.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
What am I thinking?

Speaker 2 (12:12):
I'm thinking, like he's me. Maybe he's going through Kisney something,
rush up to the I didn't know why he was
going to the hospital and how bad it was. I thought,
maybe I missed something, because you know, you're trying to
keep up in all the games. I go, I must
have missed something really bad, hit or something because he's
going to the hospital.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Reach for the remote and cough at the same time.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Those aren't the only injuries. The Detroit Lions in the
wind had running back David Montgomery leave with a rib injury,
and Jamier Gibbs was already out with the hamstring injury.
So the Lions on the ground had nothing today. At
Tampa Bay, twenty two carries forty yards and they still
won again, and then the two San Francisco in injuries,
although before Christian McCaffrey left he had another touchdown. That's

(12:54):
fifteen straight games with a scrimmage touchdown including playoffs. That
ties the wreckord of O. J. Simpson John Riggins in
the Hall of Famer anymore.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
By the way, and the one big injury that turned
out not to be that big of an injury because
I started to cry with Tyreek Hill when he's like,
I'm like, oh, it's a hamstring. He's got a hand string. There,
there's four to six weeks, eight weeks, he's gonna be out.
He's a speech. There I go, there goes the year season.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I was about to no, he's texted me season's over Texas.
He actually was texting me at one fifty seven seasons over.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I fit, well, I wasn't sure what I was doing.
I can't be held responsible for.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
What just before or after the backflip and the selfie and.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
He pulled off, he pulled up. I'm like, oh, Jez's
got the hamstring. Probably he's done. But it was just cramps.
So I was very happy to hear that kid.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
They scored too much. That's the problem with this team.
Another game, Raheem Moster had three more touchdowns. That guy
that's up to eleven touchdowns and his team's only played
six games. That's pretty rare. It was a list of
only five guys since the merger until today, moster keeps.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Adding, I'm gonna send you, guys during the break the
alleged video of where Jimmy G's injury happened. And you
tell me if that wasn't one of the most normal
looking hits on a quarterback you've ever seen in your life.
I mean, it's almost as if Jimmy has to deal
with an O'Connell's, like, listen, I'll go down, you get
started next week, I'll get you paid. Except wasn't available.

(14:24):
He was the string emergency guy.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I didn't understand why they you know, Hoyer was the
second string.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Did you want me to nerd out and explain it
or not. Here's my theory on it. It's well, yeah, exactly,
well the third guy. But and again, if something happens
to your second quarterback, he's eligible to.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Play something legitimate, yes.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Right, which could happen with the Raiders, but going well,
it could happen with Hoyer. Absolutely. I mean, that guy
gets hurt when he gets sneezed a near But I
think what it is is they trust Toyer more because
he's a veteran in those coming off the bench situations.
I think that if they give an O'Connell an entire
week to where he knows he's going to be the starter,
he's better prepared did against the Chargers. Is he a
better athlete than Brian Hoyer? Dear God, I hope so.

(15:05):
But I think that's why he was the inactive third
quarterback and the active second quarterback was Brian Hoyer. It
doesn't matter. When you see Jimmy G's injury, you're probably
gonna realize that, Wow, if that's what got that guy injured,
he's likely done for the year because he does not
go down in a heap. Are injuries injuries everywhere, not

(15:25):
only the quarterbacks. But we've got an update tonight on
Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, some concern over Lane Johnson,
and some wild stats that blew me away, including a
team that beat another NFL team that's not a recent
expansion team for the first time in their program's history.
It blew my mind.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
We'll do that day two minute warning at Buffalo fourteen
to nine, Bill's leading the Giants. Giants have the ball,
but a third and long coming up. They're not yet
to midfield.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
We'll see if the fourth down play by Tyrod Taylor
can be made to keep that game alive. We're brought

Speaker 1 (16:34):

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I think you like it.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Barring a Mario christ Ball esque time management meltdown, the
bills look like they're in great position to win this game.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Why are you throwing get thirty forty yards down the
field when all you need is eight or nine?

Speaker 1 (17:11):
I don't know. That's a great question what Arnie is
referring to for those that aren't watching along. On a
fourth down and we actually on a third and eighth,
Tyron Taylor went deep, and then on fourth and eight
they went deep down the left sideline too. Yeah, both
passes incomplete, though we were discussing it during the break.
Gardy probably, if you wanted to, could have thrown a
flag for Pi on the second on the fourth down pass, but.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
On the third, Yeah, but the receiver didn't sell. The
receiver stopped off and let them run into him, and
he probably would have gotten the flag on that, but
he didn't sell it at all.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
So fourteen to nine, the Bills lead the Giants just
under the two minute warning. One forty one to go.
Bills out the football, second and ten. Where are they?
They're on midfield? Oh, they're in their own territory. They're
at the thirty seven yard are in the Giants territory
in the thirty seven yeard. Meanwhile, baseball tonight, the Astros
lose in Game one to the Rangers. Texas takes Game
one two ZIP. So give the Rangers a one nil

(18:05):
lead in the American League Championship Series, trying to get
back to the World Series for the first time since
twenty eleven. They'll play came to tomorrow at four thirty Eastern. Arnie,
we had our two undefeated teams fall. You had and
kind of in shocking fashion right last week, you and I,
because you know I love the schedule game. We went
through the schedule and I'm like, I don't see a
loss for a while, and you said, eh, maybe Cleveland

(18:28):
could have something to say. I would have agreed with
you one hundred percent if I knew this stat Did
you know Kyle Shanahan is now one to nine against
Jim Schwartz.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Oh my goodness, man, I had no idea about that.
I wish, I wish I should have just lied and said, yeah,
I knew that all the way.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
So the Browns not only beat the forty nine ers,
but they do it on a day when I don't
know how much you watched of this game, Arnie.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
P J.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Walker might have put forth the worst performance ever by
a quarterback in a winning game. He should have thrown
a pick six twice near the end of that game,
including one that he threw back into the middle of
the field at the goal line. So kudos to Cleveland.
They get a back a lot of it.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
That happened to be the game on my other TV
plus the Red Zone channel for some reason decided they
wanted to fix it on that one, and we saw
a lot of that game on the Red Zone channel.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Also, you know, Alnie hold on, okay, pause, why is
Buffalo throwing the football in that situation? Why is Buffalo
throwing the football? I saw that.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I really wasn't paying attention to wise.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Okay, let's set it up. Minute twenty ninety go in
the game. It's third and eight, right, New York still
has one time out left. I would have sued it again,
and they threw it on third down to stop the
clock on an incompletion. Allen's rolling out looking looking, he's
got a guy open, but he throws it short and
the ball just darts away from him, so it stops

(19:51):
the clock. Are we in? And they missed the field
goal too, So I was already ask if they're in
field goal range? And they trod him on from fifty
three and that is just to write, Oh well, so
much for me saying that the Bills the salted away.
It's fourteen to nine with one twenty five to go.
The Giants have one time out. Saquon Barkley has been

(20:13):
really good here tonight. I don't know if his numbers
are gonna show that, but in watching him and what
he's been able to do, and suddenly it goes from
celebration time to fingernail biting time for Buffalo phil Bills
fan Brandon True for back in thee Tire rack dot
Com studios. What has happened here?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
I love it. They could have opened up an eight
point lead. I just saw the missfield goal. Now the
good Yeah, you're gonna tell me that this Bill's team
looks like a Super Bowl contender the last couple of weeks,
you'd tell me about that. They're just looking awful offensively.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I mentioned Saquon's had what appears to be a productive night.
Is they get him quickly on an out and a
couple of yards in the first play. The numbers aren't
going to tell that story. Only twenty only ninety three
yards on twenty four care He's but he's had those moments.
There was a drive at the start of the fourth
quarter where there's fat him and fat him and Fatam.

(21:06):
You're like, that's the Saquon Barkley I want to see.
For the most part, the Bills have done a decent
job against him, but I think he's looked better tonight, Arnie.
So if you're a Giants fan looking for something to
believe in, it's been three weeks now without Saquon Barkley.
Having him back, you can tell it makes a little different.
That's only nine points on the scoreboard right now, and
it's not one hundred yards rushing, but you can tell

(21:27):
the difference. Teammates.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Well, Christia saw what happened right before halftime, dude, Oh
my gosh. An any amateur NFL fan, any amateur football
fan of high school, junior in college, anything, knows I
would say them asself. Fourteen seconds left. You have those timeouts,
so you can't back. I mean you can't run right right,
take that out of the equation. So you can get

(21:49):
at least three, maybe four plays if you want to
go for it. So all the running out, let's see
what you could do. What plays you come up with.
First thing, he does is he runs and then the
clock runs out? Are you kidding me? Are you really?
I'm sorry? Are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
No, I'm with you. I'm not laughing at you. I'm
laughing with you.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
But who even thinks that way? I mean, if you're
a quarterback, you're like, wait a minute, Wait a minute.
I'm not handing the ball off to anybody. I don't
care if I'm tapping my helbt and saying option number two,
it's got to go in the end zone. This is ridiculous.
I mean, they cost them three points there. Otherwise they
would only need a field goal. Cost him three points.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
I mean, I guess you could argue if they had
decided to throw the ball there, maybe they break someone
free in the end zone. Hell, knowing how things have
gone for some of these backup quarterbacks today, you might
pull one out of your hat, right. Brian Hoyer for
the Raiders ends up leading them to a win in
the second half. Obviously that PJ did it. PJ Walker
did it today too for the Cleveland Brown. So let's

(22:45):
see if Tyrod Taylor can do it on this drive
which reaches are we at third down? Now? Third down?
So forty four seconds left? In the game, the Bill's
fourteen the Giants nine. This has become a fantastic finisher
as the Giants use their final time. I'm out now.
Before we get to the sager Arnie, I mentioned there
were two stats that I love today. Kyle Shanahan now

(23:06):
one to nine against Jim Schwartz. Right, I had no
idea the Jets had never beaten the Eagles. Did you
know that? That's all I heard?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Yeah, that was incredible, absolutely incredible that they had never
beat them in their existence. I had never even would
have imagine that.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah. So the first time these two teams played was
nineteen seventy three. They haven't played a ton, right, because
you know obviously AFC NFC and they're not. It's every two,
three years whatever. And now with the extra game you
might have a little bit more. But the last time
they had played was twenty twenty one, and none of
these games have really been closed. The Eagles have destroyed

(23:42):
them in just about every matchup that they faced off
until today. I'm not kidding. I was watching that one
on TV when Kevin Kugler said that, I was like,
who's messing with Kevin Cougler. There's no way no way, Arnie,
that the Jets had never beaten the Eagles, but they got
it done today. Now who do we This is what
I want you to think about it. But what the
people to ponder tonight, Arnie? Who are you questioning more?

(24:04):
After today? The Niners are the Eagles? Who are you
questioning more? I know who you are. It's everybody that's
not a Miami Dolphin. But who are you? And maybe
we'll be able to throw the Bills in this mix
of the Bills are a three and two team and
they're not undefeated, right, but right of the two undefeateds
that lost, who are you questioning more tonight?

Speaker 2 (24:22):
You know I could, I could, and I don't want
to go. Usually i'd have a clear cut answer, and
I would say philadelphiacause they've not looked good, especially offensively, right,
So I will say them though San Francisco, brock Purty,
you know now that the streak is done, Now what's
going to happen then? But I would definitely say Philadelphia
as the team I'm more concerned about than San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Well, let's get the Sager in here, because he's following
this incredible final drive for the Giants. That it has
put him in field goal position. But they need a
touchdown here to win.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Steve exactly, they need a touchdown. That cannot be overstated.
What Arty brought up that they absolutely gagged it at
the end of the first half. Because you've got a
veteran kicker in Graham Gano. The last game, he had
a fifty one yarder the game before, a fifty five yarder,
the game before that, a fifty seven yarder. He's three
for three on field goals tonight. If you had just

(25:13):
used him and kicked at the end of the first half,
you could kick to win right here at Buffalo, because
Buffalo just missed its field goal attempt. And allow me
not to be the first to point out the Bills
missed wide right against the Giants. There was a Super
Bowl back in the day. Well, it is fourteen to
nine Buffalo with the ball, but the Giants have spiked

(25:35):
the ball to stop the clock. With nine seconds left,
They're down to the Buffalo fifteen point. It would be
great just to kick a field goal and go home
at this point, but no, the Giants can't have good things.
If they lose this, they'll be one and five on
the season. And deservedly so. By the way, remember it's
a different quarterback, the man who apparently checked into a

(25:55):
run play before halftime and should check into something else
now to Rod Taylor, Buffalo started the game because Daniel Jones,
the normal Giants starting quarterback, was out with a neck injury.
Final seconds will keep all our eyes on this game,
because after the brief timeout and the Giants are certainly
out of them, now the defense has taken a timeout,
and now the Bills are out of timeouts. Nine seconds

(26:17):
to go. The upset for the Jets was against Philadelphia
twenty to fourteen.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
And you're right.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
The Philadelphia all time was twelve and oh against the Jets.
I saw that list this week. It was so amazing
that this is the century plus of NFL history. Philadelphia's
twelve and oh against the Jets was at the top
of the list. Number two was Green Bay was eleven
and oh against Brooklyn.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Brooklyn what exactly.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
There was a Brooklyn Dodgers team at one point and
a Brooklyn something else in football?

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yeah, you got me. Cleveland upset San Francisco nineteen to
seventeen forty nine Ers missed a forty one yard field
goal attempt in the final seconds Miami's five and one
after ripping Carolina forty two to twenty one. He mostered
three touchdowns Carolina oh and six, Detroit five and one
after a win at Tampa Bay twenty to six victories
for Las Vegas and for the La Rams, each playing

(27:10):
at home. As for Tad Taylor in the final seconds,
a scramble to get him inside the ten yard line
and at least out of bounds with two seconds left,
So one more play for the Giants down by five
at Buffalo, and they could have.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Gotten three plays and if he would have just thrown it.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
For some rays And Brian Dable is clapping his hands
on the sideline after that, because you know he's seen
worse tonight. So given what he's seen, I guess that
was a phenomenal play.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Should be giving his team the middle fingers what he
should be doing, not clopping.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
At least unlike what we saw with some of the
earlier games. Your quarterback wasn't getting sacked and hold on
another timeout defense, they did have one left.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
How they have more timeouts?

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Apparently they had one left.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
They have eight left.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
It's a college eligibility now you can still before you're.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Gonna buy one, like buying a vowel. We want to
buy another time out please, By the way.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
With the field goal miss on Buffalo's last drive, Tyler
bash oh for two on field goal attempts tonight, He's
missed from fifty two and from fifty three here on
this final Yeah it was. Yeah, I guess it is
just the last two timeouts taken. I guess they're cool.
I don't know. I'll have to do.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
They didn't have it.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
I know what you're looking at because they didn't have
them listed. Is having another time out on the.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yeah, they did, they did, they did.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Okay, okay, I believe they did.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
So we're good. They're players back on the field for
this one final play to Rod Taylor.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
And I'm to say, in the end zone on this one,
call me crazy.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
I know that run. No, there's nobody in the backfield
with him. One play left down by calling Steve. Let's
see what happens here in the end zone on the incompletion.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Oh my goodness, they're gonna have another.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Was there a penalty on that? Really? I mean, come on,
I'm much of that. Did he breathe on him?

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Oh my goodness, did you finally catch up and get
your feed?

Speaker 2 (29:05):
No, I just I put it on another TV.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
I think he grabbed him. Yeah, he grabbed a waller.
So listen, So that's not going to.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Be on the one yard line then, oh no it is.
It's it's pass interference, so it's going to be on
the one yard line.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
See, this is this show. This is so funny. Arnie
so can't stand not being ahead of everybody to be
able to try to ruin it that he has switched
to another TV. Yes, yes, so he could be ahead
of everybody. He was over the receiver. That's that's not
a bit all right. Well, I mean listen, we gotta
stay here, live for this. Just Sager. Final shot in
the game.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Bush, could you do that here? Or what they were
the Eagles dirty?

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Oh my gosh, he grabbed him like crazy. I'm just
now king complete.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
No flag.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Waller ball, Geez.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Bill's winning fourteen to nine, ridiculous, going to cut the.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Vision from one.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Oh he was Oh.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
That's another flag you should have gotten.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
He had a chance to go up and get that.
That was a play that that he ran infinite times
in Vegas with Derek Carr. That worked well. Memories. See
what happens when you leave and you don't have Jimmy
g throwing those balloons to you. Darren Waller Giants fall
to one and five on the season. Bills now four
into our final on what I don't know, not necessarily

(30:28):
the prettiest game we've ever seen, Arnie, but for a
for a laundry list of games that we didn't have
necessarily high hopes for in our primetime, in our in
our big time game settings, if you will, I kind
of kind of thought Waller.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Was being grabbed and not at all. He wasn't.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
No, no, not at all, not at all. It's okay.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
They called the similar the play before when they were
pulling the side of his jersey, and this was with
the right hand on the front while the while he's
going for the ball.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Chris Collinsworth says, the Bills are making a statement. What
statement they're down six to nothing late in the third.
What's the way statement they're making is we're not ready
for the Super Bowl. That's what statement they're making.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Oh my gosh, all the angles of these are even
worse every single time they show them.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
By the way, that defensive back that was not called
for it was Darren Johnson who was their leading tackler
with fifteen in this game and Buffalo wins.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Oh my does Zan's always mugging him?

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Wow, that's wild. That's a wild place to swallow your
whistle in that moment with the game on the line.
H Anyway, tough loss for the Giants tonight. They continue
to struggle this season. Of teams. Maybe that we expected
a little bit more. And we're getting all of your
tweets coming up here in the next segment, by the way,
because I see them and they're fantastic to get things

(31:51):
started here tonight. But Arnie, of the teams, maybe that
we had a little preseason expectation for I'm going to
keep the Jets out of this because of their the
injury though they're three and three. Who would you say
right now? I mean, can we throw the Giants in
that mix? Can we throw the I know the Packers
are off this week, but can we throw the Packers
in that mix? Teams that maybe we expected a little
bit more of and they're just really disappointing.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Minnesota would I mean? I thought they were gonna win
that division and and win it pretty easily. They're two
and four right now, and they have to sweat it
out against the Chicago Bears with some guy who went
to what junior high school or something like that that
ends up playing for the Bears, a quarterback of all
all positions. So very lucky to go ahead win that game.

(32:35):
I know they're gonna be without Jefferson for about another
three or four more weeks. But very disappointing with what's
going on with Minnesota right now.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Yeah, go ahead, be before he grab a break.

Speaker 6 (32:43):
Yeah, Kyle Rudolph just texting me because we were, you know,
texting about the over coaching that's been going on in
the NFL. He'd pointed out first and goal from the
one at the end of each half, no points for
the Giants.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Middle eight, man, let me tell you're gonna start hearing
a lot about it. Brandon Vinables talks about it. The
middle eight, the final four minutes of the first half
and the first four minutes of the second half. It's
where more football games are won or lost. How you
handle going into the locker room and how you handle
coming out of it. Insane, all right.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
I was just gonna say, real quick, you had fifteen
fourteen or fifteen seconds before the end of the first half,
you had nine seconds there, I believe, so you had
twenty twenty three seconds left. Then you got what two
or three plays off one because of a penalty. You
should be able to get a lot more plays offen
than just that.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Yeah, no kidding. By the way, I like Kyley, He's
like your feed's behind. Now, you guys have to understand
the level of delays that go into our broadcast. You're
definitely gonna see it before we will. But let's see
if you're listening on the app, it's like a good
five minutes. I'm gonna go back and listen to Disaga
breaking down the end of the game during the commercial break.
Our affiliates have curse delays on there too. So keep

(33:56):
living in the future, America, Keep living in the future,
all right when we come back. A lot of really

(34:38):
over though by the time you got going right, it
was over.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Well, it was way over by then, but trust beyond that,
it was over by halftime.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
But trust you're lying greathing I think even coomanies are
making stuff up.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Well, no, they were probably two touchdowns at half time,
but no with Yeah, it was over by the time
I hopped on with Torres and it was a lot
of fun. I didn't know we were that good. To
be honest with you, I was.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Well, you weren't even up at the end of the
USC game last week.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Should have beat USC.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Should have beat USC. You should have beat USC.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
And Mississippi State. We should be at.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
To you got stopped by Mississippi State.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
We lost to know overtime.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
You never had a chance in that game against Mississippi State.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I'll stop it. We we really should be un defeated.
It inside the top ten. But next year. There's always
next year.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
So this is what you're gonna go with. Oh gosh, well.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
God's are on my side now things things have turned
since ten years ago, that's for.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Sure, since ten years ago. I don't think that you've
been repaid yet for basically saying that you were playing
a middle of the road team and that whenever you
played Boise that was their super Bowl and you should
never have to worry about playing them again. I think
that's uh. I think that's where you that's where you
messed up. Oh yeah, that's where you messed up on
this one. All right. To the tweets for the show, uh,

(35:58):
Colin writes, the Bills did not win that game, they
avoided losing.

Speaker 7 (36:01):
That.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
That's true. That's true. Amen to that. That's one hundred
percent drow.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
But again, in the end, there's is my first father
and all like to tell me when I was so
terrible on at golf, he'd be like, son, there's no
scores on. There are no pictures on the score card,
there's no pictures in the win lost column. It's just
a dub right now. I don't disagree, Calbird, right, Arnie.
No more New York Giants on primetime TV. It's getting

(36:25):
sad and not putting any points on national TV.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Yeah, did they reach their living now? On the Giants?
We have to see them anymore in primetime? Or are
we done with them now?

Speaker 1 (36:34):
I did see we get a good one next week
in primetime. We get your Dolphins in primetime next week.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Oh, I didn't even know who do they have coming up?
It's Philadelphia, right.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
It's Philadelphia next Sunday night. That's Sunday Night football, Dolphins
and Eagles.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Dolphins early two and a half in that one.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
I was gonna say early spread two and a half
and fifty two and a half overall next week. By
the way, I'm not trying to get too carried away here.
There's some juicy matchups. There's some juicy matchups next week.
Though it is kind of funny. Bill's Patriots was one
that is not as juicy as it once was. Arnie,
I watched a lot of the Patriots game today. In fact,
I watched all of it. I watched every snap. Do

(37:13):
they understand offense? I mean, Patriot fans? It did it? Literally?
Did everything related to offensive football get sucked out of
that stadium? And that mind, that brilliance when Tom Brady left,
because holy smokes, Arnie, they are awful. I saw every
aspect of offense.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
That's that with their last twenty seven possessions they not
even reached the red zone or something to that effect.
That they were pretty up some miserable, miserable numbers offensively.
I just don't know. Well. I tried to say that
this team is not very good theirp again, they're probably one.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Of the worst that every year with no.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
No, this was the writing was on the wall for them.
They're so bad. I really think they're gonna end up
pushing Bellichick out one way or the other. I think
there's gonna be Belichick's last year with the Patriots.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Brendan Wrights. I know this is a football show, but
I have to get my top four teams left in
the Major League Baseball Playoffs. Number one Texas, of course,
the Rangers one tonight over the Astros two zip. They're
up in game none. Number two Philadelphia, number three, Arizona,
number four vacant. I don't acknowledge cheaters in my MLB
rankings until they get their comeuppance. Rick Flair Wrights. Good

(38:26):
to see the nah checking in on the show I
know this after week seven, which by the way is
our final hour, bit, we'll go with it. Arnie might
have finally given up on allegedly threatening to quit his job.
Are you done with allegedly threatening to quit your job
that you never go through with?

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Which I didn't hear the beginning part of that. I'm sorry,
what was the beginning of that?

Speaker 1 (38:44):
They said? I think I know this. Arnie might have
finally given up on allegedly threatening threatening to quit his job.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
No, I mean there's stuff that is obviously like I've
been telling you all along. Had Miami lost their first
two games, any one of the first two games, I
was gonna bail my job, Joey, because they had a
major injury. I tried to tell you what was gonna
happen to the Dolphins, but you guys were tone deaf
to everything I was saying about them this year.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Well, I mean, when you hear the same thing year
and in year out, you kind of draw tone deaf
to it.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
And I was right this time. How about that?

Speaker 1 (39:16):
So far, you're looking pretty good. You should feel good
about yourself so far, but the schedule death stiffen up
a little bit. And the one time you played a
quote unquote good team you got stopped, and that was Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
We should take care of Philodolphia next weekend. That shouldn't
be much of a problem, you think, so, Yeah, I'm
pretty I'm feeling pretty confident about that.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
In Philly on a Sunday night, a little bit chillier
than it usually is, you're not worried about that. For
your boys, you're a little bit soft.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
They don't have an offense. I mean, they can't keep
up with us. If you put up twenty one points
on the board, that should be enough to go ahead
and win the game.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
Yeah, howd that offense do against the Bills when you
face the real defense?

Speaker 4 (39:53):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Give me the one game that we just fell apart, right,
Just the one game you played against a good team.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
The one game in Buffalo. Wait till they come to Miami.
We'll give them the beatdown that they deserve.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
What is the win that you're flexing on right now?
What is the win where you look at and you're
like that shows were a good.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Team Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
But the game that you're gonna play in three weeks, Yes, exactly,
the one that you haven't played yet.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Well, with no problem gosh, I just.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
If you don't beat the Raiders, you got some major problems.
All right, more of your texts. Coming up next are

(41:06):
on he here was the final Oh, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
No, I'm sorry, I didn't.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
Listen to the conversations we're having during the break.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Yeah right, Actually no, I didn't. I don't hear any
of that stuff, right go ahead, Yes, but I didn't
know you were just going to jump right into that.
There was something I did want to bring up that
made me very sad today because we do stuff and
I know you hate when I just kind of throw
you a left turn here. But I was very, very
upset today with the passing of Suzanne Summers. She was

(41:35):
a big star, Chris. I don't know, you're young, so
you you you might not remember from Three's Company and
stuff like that. I put her on the map. She
was just outstanding, and I was very sad to hear
that she passed away today at seventy six years old.
In my time, in my error, she was like of

(41:55):
course Three's Company.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Hear that?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Now, think about that a sitcom Two single women and
John Ritter had to pretend that he was gay in
order to stay in the apartment, because otherwise you wouldn't
be allowed to go ahead and stay in there. Think
about doing a show like that now. But I'm very
upset about the passaga and Susanne Summers. She was really
a great story about her. You really, if we had

(42:18):
more time later on, I'll tell you about she had
very interesting stuff about her, Chris.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
You know, yeah, no, she was a legend. One of
the first TV shows I remember watching Rip Susanne Summers
seventy seven years of age.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
To actually her birthday is today. These guys just she
would have returned seventy seven, so wow, yeah, unbelievad ole.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
So are they saying then that she passed away seventy six?

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Wow. Geez, how about that?

Speaker 1 (42:43):
All right? Rip Susanne Summers.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
Yeah, verything else that she was big star, big star,
big big star. Sorry about that. I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Yeah, well, I mean if usually I kind of I
don't know about you, but I like to have the
upbeat song going into the positive, the slow songs usually
going into if I have to have another dead dog
story here, Arnie, you know who gets that analogy? Rip
Susanne Summers. All right, let's get to the highlights. Now,
play guess the network. This is the final goal from
tonight's NFL matchup between the Giants and the Bills. From

(43:14):
both radio networks try to figure out which one is which.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Takes the handoff throws it into the end zone.

Speaker 8 (43:19):
It's incomplete intended for Darren Waller tarn Johnson in coverage,
plus enough disruption to force the incompletion. The game is
over and the Bills escaped with a fourteen to nine victory.

Speaker 9 (43:37):
So the Giants in this end zone at the end
of the half, had a first and goal with fourteen
seconds left, ran the ball with no timeouts, got no.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Points at the end of the half.

Speaker 9 (43:49):
There we go be poetic justice if they scored in
this end zone.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
On time play.

Speaker 9 (43:56):
Giants down five, first and goal at the one, Taylor
overs takes the step back loup.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Hands of Waller at good point.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Honestly, I don't know. They both seemed very excited about things, right.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
I assume the first one was was the Bill, but yeah,
the second was a pretty good call. Also. I got
to give them credit. They were like, we lose again.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
They wouldn't sound like me if the the Raiders and
I was calling their game. Is that correct? Was the
first one the Bill's Brandon Yes, Buffalo Bills Radio gr
Yeah tonight as the Bills went fourteen to nine, Now, Arnie,
top to bottom, we didn't have a lot of Doozy's
score wise. I mean, I'm looking at the best games

(44:40):
of the day and it was like twenty to thirteen,
twenty to fourteen, fourteen to nine. I guess you know
your Dolphins put up forty two to save us on
the day. But do we just chalk it up to
an ugly day. Do we worry about the offensive play
in this league right now? Or no?

Speaker 2 (44:58):
It was just it's just a one week thing.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
No.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
I mean, you did see thirty seven from the Jaguars.
The offense, as you mentioned, put up forty two. Maybe
it was just a defensive weekend. Maybe it was just
the matchups. Who knows. Maybe it was to travel for
like the Bills and why they didn't have to, you know,
put up big numbers out there. Maybe it was just
the one time thing. But I don't think it's hurting
the offense. This league is about offense right now, you know.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
Yeah. And it's funny because I feel like in some
ways it kind of mirrors college. In other ways, it's
many many moons ahead of where college is. But I
gotta tell you something, man, the defenses are balling, and
now part of that might be part of that might
be or any the crappy quarterback player.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
I was just about to say that there's some crappy
quarterbacks and some second street quarterbacks right now playing in
the NFL. The Giants are on their second string quarterback.
I don't know what the hell The Titans are on
quarterback number. What are the Falcons. They need a second
string quarterback? Was the first stringer? Isn't any good out there?
The Bears are playing some guy from junior college or whatever.

(46:00):
You come out there is it's amazing. It's It's a
lot of bad quarterback play out there, is what it is.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
Gris Yeah, And you know what's what's interesting about it
is it is it is kind of funny. I mean,
you're sitting here dogging because a guy from Shepherd at
a small school, got an opportunity. It also shows you
just how I guess maybe are we fooled a little
bit by system guys in college because I'm thinking to myself,
I feel like I've watched five or six quarterbacks in

(46:27):
the Big twelve, just like like your boy Skyler Thompson.
I'm like, he could be better than half the guys
I think I'm seeing out there based on what I
saw in college. I mean, it's just sometimes already that
college game can be a little fool's gold whenever you
need the arm strength you need in the NFL. That's
the only thing I can come up with quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
I don't even know if there's a Shepherd's College. I'm
just taking your word for it. Bro, I know you're
you're getting.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Good take. You're destroying everything that like your son went
through and did too. Is just hilarious to me.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
But it's just Shepherd's college.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
Though.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
There's got to be better quarterbacks, like you mentioned, it
really just showed you the lack of quarterback play that
you see some of these kids coming from college and
trying to get into the end.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
Let's also imagine was an undraft It's not like he
was drafted in the third or fourth round. He was
an undrafted guy. And where did he go? He went
to Chicago. Okay, It's not like he's going and he's
having to, you know, learn from and sit behind Brady
or or Mahomes somewhere. I mean literally, he's in a
position to where like, hey, let's take a flyer on
this kid from Shepherd who set every single passing record
out there in college football, and let's see what happens,

(47:34):
and maybe they get a gym. Maybe they got a
guy that couldn't throw for one hundred yards today. I
don't know, you pick which way that goes, but I
will say I just I don't know if there's a
fix for it. Right, there's not gonna be this magical
turn for the quarterbacks, and it's probably gonna get worse
because more quarterbacks are hurt and aren't gonna be able
to play. I mean, we've got a list here of
five dudes that were dinged today at the quarterback position

(47:57):
right right, justin field, Ryan Tannehill, Trevor Lawrence, jim Me G,
and Baker Mayfield. Baker seemed like he was okay, but
was in a lot of pain afterwards. Jimmy G. Did
you see the video I sent you of the hit
on one hit?

Speaker 2 (48:08):
There was no hit on the guy c you and
and the fact that he had to go to the hospital. Seriously,
he's like me when I you know, when I throw
my back out, when I tell you, oh my backhurds,
I'm on ten, my tenth, I'd be profit in an hour,
and I can't. I could barely sit down. That's what
Jimmy G is like for crying out loud. It's embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
It's embarrassing, and he's probably gonna be out for a while.
So there's two, three, five more teams that could end
up going with a backup quarterback this year. So it's
just it's gonna get worse, I think before it gets better,
and then listen. I'm not sitting here to just to
harp on it. I'm getting to your text and tweets
right now. But I just I don't know what you're
doing in New England right now. I mean, you're sending

(48:49):
one to five. You might as well just tank for
Eler Caleb or Drake May at this point, I mean,
what are you even doing. There is only one winless
team in the NFL right now, and they don't even
have a first round pick, and the other team that's
right there with him the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears
are pretty damn awful themselves too at one in five.
So I don't really know if you're gonna be able

(49:09):
to get into that conversation because of the dumb trade
by the Panthers or because the Bears are so bad.
But I don't care. Arnie mac Jones is not that dude,
and I don't see them making a deal or someone
saving the day. And I don't Max telling everyone he
has confidence. But what of the wildest stories to follow
this year? How mac Jones went from Okay, maybe he's
got a little something to being as terrible as he

(49:30):
is is mind boggling to me.

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Well, first of all, it goes to show you after
I just got done saying why don't you take somebody
from a major school When you're playing with somebody like
Alo Babman, you have like first round draft picks on
your team and you don't really have to get open.
You just just throw them in the ball. Beaus don't
get open themselves. I could play quarterback for Alabama when
you have wide receivers like that. For crying out loud,
and it started the show. It really is that Mac

(49:55):
Jones wasn't gonna be the quarterback that was gonna go
ahead and take the next step because he had such
a great team out there at Alabama. The Patriots have
to go ahead and get the number one pick or
the number two pick, and I think they could probably
pull that off. I don't know what the odds are,
but I think they're right there to go ahead at
least get one of the top two picks.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
And then that question becomes, all right, let's say it's
that bad Patriot fans, is ownership gonna be like, all right,
Bill Belichick, we trust you know offensively turned no.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
No, no, no, no, no no, you get away from
this guy. No, no, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna
go through years of you not putting any wide receivers
with him, or offensive weapons or you know, really good
running backs. No, no, no, You're not gonna destroy this kid.
You were lucky enough to get Tom Brady and and
you know what, you ran him out of town. So no,

(50:44):
I'm running you out of town. Now it's time for
you to.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
Go, David. David gets the first tweet this segment good
one too, as we come to your life from the
Tirack dot Com studios. I wanna make this very clear
to David, I have no sympathy either for Patriot fans,
but he writes, I have no sympathy for the Patriots,
cry baby fans. I'm a Panthers fan and we're ozero
and six and have no first round picks in next
year's draft. Where is our sympathy? Well, you watched a

(51:09):
lot of them today, Harnie. They're not They're not very close,
are they?

Speaker 2 (51:14):
No? And you're starting to think, uh, did they make
the right choice in the quarterback?

Speaker 7 (51:19):
Right?

Speaker 2 (51:19):
They did the row year to have the top pick
for the quarterback?

Speaker 4 (51:22):
Is it not?

Speaker 1 (51:23):
Or what well, they traded up to get it. Yeah,
they they got their choice of guys. CJ. Stroud. I
watched a lot, we got well red zones seeming to
be a lot on the Saints and the Texans, and
it only seemed to be when the Saints had the
ball for some reason. But in what I got to see,
if c J. Stroud in his numbers so far impressive.
Obviously Anthony Richardson is out. He's down for the season.

(51:44):
We think, right, it looks like they're gonna do that
shoulder surgery.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Out they're saying about.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
And then I'm I'm will Levis from from Tennessee. He
wasn't even the backup today. They went with Malik Willis.
So I mean to move up to one and to
get and have him look the way that he looks
right now. Fourteen is zip has seemed like it was
like two years ago when the Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
But I mean it is showing again. It's early, but
he is showing flashes of some great plays.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
You know that. So I don't disagree. I don't disagree
with you, but it's just by this point, five to
six to seven games in you kind of hope there's
a leveling off factor in it. This is Pete. You're
right so much for the Raiders plan of getting Caleb Williams. Although,
to be honest, I actually might want Drake May over him.

(52:36):
I like Drake May a lot, but I know you do.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
I know you do.

Speaker 1 (52:38):
I like both those quarterbacks. In fact, I'm starting to
fall in love with a couple of other quarterbacks. It
could be in this year's draft, but for now, I'll
stick with Williams May.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
I just want to double check that's the same one,
the Caleb Williams that played against ore Dayan this weekend.
Is that the one you like? That's right, okay. I
just want to make sure we're touching. I thought maybe
there was a different one that we're talking about, the
one that was through three interceptions in the first half.
That's right, Okay, good for you.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
You're gonna give up on the guy for one.

Speaker 2 (53:06):
I just want to make sure we're talking about the
right one.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
That's sure. What this sounds like this is your little
arrogant little thing that you do every now and then.
You mean the guy. No, I mean the guy that
won the Heightsman Trophy. That's the only reason right now
why us he only has one loss. That's a guy
I'm talking.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
About now Been Trophy this year. I promise you that, well,
he's already won it.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
I mean only one dudes won it twice in his career.
So suddenly he's like, well, he sucks. He had a
bad game against Notre Dame. I hope scouts can't like, yeah,
I hope scouts feel like.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
I'm sure there's going to be a few that too.
You know that there's going to be a few that
want't the guy. I really got a question, and did
you see the verse dive of the note today? But
they'll be if.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
Anyone says that. If I was a general manager of
that team, I'd be like, so you're fired. Appreciate your time,
but you're Chris. I saw tweets. I wish I would
have said, of course you do, because everyone has hot
takes after games, aren't he Everyone does? I mean they
had at the end of the first quarter today, He's like, well,
I guess the Dolphins just aren't that great. I got
they're just not. There's four quarters to a game, and

(54:02):
there's at least three years to have a quarterback's career
in college.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
I guess a lot of Irish fans had a few
things to say about Kingo Woombs after that.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
No truth, you think Irish fans did check Sooner Nation
right now? Holy smokes man, you want to talk about
someone that has something to say? And then a couple
of others here real quick, you guys should be talking
about the Jets all night long, writes Doug Graveman, it's
a good win.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
Could be four and two. There's three and three right there.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
Should he easily be four and two right now?

Speaker 2 (54:32):
And what about ONS's face? Rogers not walking without a
crutch and.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Throwing throwing before the game, and you don't live that
herbal medicine that he's into. Aren't you got to watch
out something that.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
I may take, something I may do some of that.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
Okay? Do you worry at all about the Jets.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Not for winning the division? No, I'm not worried about
them running up on it.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
They you got a two game lead. But like in
other words, do you put them down the category as
a three and three football team who's going going to
New York? They're playing the Giants next weekend? Right? Actually?
I think they got their by next week and they do,
they don't play they got their by then. They play
the Giants, and then they've got the Chargers and the Raiders.
So I mean they could easily win two of those three.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
Right, right?

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Do you start wondering, Man, if Aaron can make this
miraculous comeback and this team can hang around, I mean,
am I just crazy for even letting that enter the
back of my mind?

Speaker 6 (55:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:29):
You are crazy. Okay, you are doctor and another thing.
So just let me get this right. The Zach Wilson
that we were ready to run out of the NFL,
all of a sudden, it's going to take this team
to the playoffs. Boy boy, how things change in a
matter of for like a week or two. Right, is
that where you're going to Well.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
It's not just that he could, it's everything that's happening
around you too. The Raiders suck, dude. I'm just here
to tell you right now. I love that team with
all my heart. They are a think terrible. I have
no idea how they're three and three right now? Do
you know what that safety gave them today? The first
time they've scored over twenty points this season and they're
three and three. Okay, So it's not about I believe

(56:10):
is Wilson? No, No, the league freaking socks. Okay, that's
the problem right now. So whenever you're like, well, all
of a sudden this no, no, no, I'm just telling you.
I look the Giants, they stink right, Chargers, we'll see
if Justin Herbert can stay healthy. You gotta go to
Vegas where I bet there's a lot of Jets fans
in Vegas. Suddenly, Arnie, it's not so scary to go
to Buffalo after watching what the Giants just did tonight.

(56:33):
I'm just here to tell you right now, they've got
a good enough defense and Sauce Gardner didn't even play
today that I'm not right. I'm not counting out anything
for them right now.

Speaker 2 (56:41):
By the way, did you hear the people screaming on
the safety everybody that bet Vegas minus three and then
they were up by two and then they get the
safety to go up by four. Oh that was fantastic.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Yeah, we'll talk to Todd Furman about that next Hey,

we were just talking about it before the break, that
safety which will not only push the Raiders over twenty
points for the first time this year, but also cover
that's spread. I mean, what's just an awful bad break?
How bad did that hurt Betters or the book here today?

Speaker 7 (57:58):
I can't tell you how much it hurt better of
the book. I can tell you it was a kick
in the you know where for me sitting on the
ball as a three point dog watching the ball go
through DeVante Parker's hands on the play before a stone
cold drop, and then knowing what potential light in waiting
there with Mac Jones trying to hunt the deep ball,
and then of course you see the all twenty two
footage with Ramandre Stevenson wide open eight yards downfield. But

(58:21):
kis the nature of the business. And sometimes the gambling
gods smile upon you, and sometimes they kick you in
your manhood. And I was on the wrong side of
that decision earlier this afternoon.

Speaker 2 (58:31):
Don How rich would I be today? If I would
have been not sleeping at halftime in bett Stanford to
come back and beat Colorado down twenty nine to.

Speaker 7 (58:40):
Nothing, you'd have been able to make a pretty penny.
I mean I saw prices upwards or forty or fifty
to one, which obviously doesn't reflect what the true odds
should be when you're choosing a four touchdown plus deficit.
But you mean I was keeping tabs in that game,
saw twenty nine nothing with stunned to see the score
at twenty nine to twenty six, you get Colorado of
course gets the score to go up thirty six twenty six,
and you think the game is over. But the Buffaloes

(59:02):
haven't realized that everybody has a target on them and
need to go out there and play four full quarters.
The unfortunate part for Colorado when you look at their
upcoming schedule, we're gonna be very difficult for them to
get Bowl eligible, knowing how deep the Pac twelve has been,
and that was probably the easiest remaining game on their slate,
but they weren't the only team in the state of
Colorado that had some heroics. Colorado had to go against them,

(59:23):
and then Colorado State battling back, scoring three touchdowns in
the final four plus minutes to be Boise State for
the first time in program history. So some wild football.
If you found yourself at fulsome field on Friday night
and you decided to go to Fort Collins to watch
the game Saturday night in the Mountain West.

Speaker 1 (59:39):
Teyson, I watched a lot of that Colorado State game. Todd,
we were talking about quarterback play. I don't know how
Colorado State's quarterback is in college with a D one
scholarship and yet they're winning football game. So Jay Norvela
is a master somehow that he's winning games. The quarterback
play in the NFL it seems like has been equally atrocious.
Is it just are we too thin at quarterbacks? I mean,

(01:00:01):
I'm watching Brian Hoyer go in there and he's awful.
I'm watching basically somehow PJ. Walker try to throw an
interception to ice the game for the Niners and they
drop it. Are I mean, should we be concerned about
the quarterback play in this league right now and how
quickly it's dropping off when you go to your second string.

Speaker 7 (01:00:18):
I mean, it's always difficult, and I think that's why
the teams that have put themselves in good positions have
an understudy that's capable of running the offense at least
a sixty or sixty five percent clip for what their
starting quarterback can do. But when you have an elite quarterback,
knowing the salary cap structure that's in place, you only
can pay so many guys. And I think allocating money
towards a backup quarterback for a worst case scenario put

(01:00:39):
you a little bit between a rock and a hard place.
You mentioned PJ Walker going out there, and the Browns
were able to win that game earlier despite what PJ
Walker did, creating the short field for the forty nine
ers late in that's fourth quarter that ultimately did them in,
but everybody else stepped up. They get the biggest upset
of the day, and you can understand how good that
defense is. But there's no doubt if you don't have
a quarterback in this league, you can't win. And there

(01:01:01):
are a lot of fan bases desperately trying to figure
out who their man will be under center, and it's
why I think they'll see a lot of movement on
draft day for some of the elite quarterbacks, at least
on paper schedule to come out.

Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Todda, I brought this up earlier. I don't know who
the hell was quarterback in the Chicago Bears. I go,
i'd it never heard of the college Shepherd College. I
think you guys are making that up to me. I
think that's like some bogus university, and I'm waiting for
some reporter to go there's no such thing as Shepherd's College.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:01:29):
I mean, look, you don't get a ton of undrafted
Division two rookies getting out there to kind of step in.
And that was because the Bears brought PJ. Walker in
during camp and thought he was going to be there understudy.
To Justin Fields decided they would go in a different direction,
and while Badging showed a little bit of command of
the offense, clearly the arm strength isn't there. I mean,
that's a ball at the NFL level that has to
be completed at DJ Moore allows the Vikings to get

(01:01:50):
under it, and the field is going to miss some
extensive time, which it appears he might pending the results
of his MRI tomorrow on his hand. Suddenly, the Bears
going to put themselves in the caffard seat to raft
inside the top five, not just with Carolina's pick, but
probably their pick as well. It'll be real interesting to
see what direction that organization goes, whether they retain you know,
Matti Reflus as head coach, Luketia's offensive coordinator, if Justin

(01:02:12):
Field is the guy, or if they're looking to land
a quarterback, which I imagine they will be in with
one of those top five picks.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
DoD It's wild. I know. I always want to ask
a Raiders question of you, since you have your boots
on the ground in Vegas. They're not very good, but
they're three and three and I don't know how and
they're going to be four and three because the Bears
are terrible next week and I don't think anyone's really happy.
How do we kind of like quantify or figure out
this mood that Raider fans should be in the mood

(01:02:38):
they're in right now.

Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
I mean, I actually think the Raiders winning these close
games will end up backfighting on them, because you're going
to put yourself in NFL purgatory right now if you
can't you get in position to draft Drake may A,
Caleb Williams, maybe Shador Sanders, a couple of these other
guys that are there, and the Raiders finishing a season
you know, seven and ten or thereabouts would probably be
the worst case scenario for them, knowing that Jimmy Garoppolo

(01:03:01):
isn't gonna be the long term answer. But maybe they
believe that Aiden O'Connell can be that guy. But a
little bit surprising that O'Connell's not the next man up
to step in instead of Brian Hoyer if you really
believe he's going to be the quarterback going forward. But
it would be the most Raiders thing ever for them
to go on the road against a Division two starting
quarterback and loose.

Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
To the Bears.

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
Though cribit very true.

Speaker 7 (01:03:20):
Let's not pencil that is a win just yet.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
People.

Speaker 7 (01:03:22):
You'll get some of their upcoming opponents. A road trip
to Detroit on Monday night football won't be easy, and
then back to back home games against the teams hailing
from New York. So it'd be very interesting as the
Raiders get towards their bye week in late November. If
this team is sitting a game or two above five hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
Todd last thing, and this is an embarrassing question, I've
got to ask you, very embarrassing on my part. I
entered one of those knockout contests, you know, for ten
thousand dollars, and it started with twenty two thousand, like
five hundred people, and we're down to the last nineteen hundred.
I'm still around, but I didn't read the rules, and

(01:03:57):
I don't know if I'm eligible now to win the
ten thousand dollars when it's all said and done, I
don't think I qualified. Now what am I going to do?

Speaker 7 (01:04:05):
I mean, I think that's a you problem more so
than it is for all of your radio listeners out there.
If you're reading comprehension, isn't up to snuff? Arn't he
worried about that community college education. You receive that date
school down there in Tucsons.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Wait, can't I threaten them and say you should pay
me anyway or something that go?

Speaker 7 (01:04:21):
I mean, if you can find a loophole in your rules,
I'm sure there are plenty of lawyers out there who'd
be looking to take on your case. So you know,
when you wake up early tomorrow morning, you head out
on you know, Champlain Street, you'd be able to find
plenty of lawyers in the Berlin, Caon area who want
to take that case.

Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
Only nineteen hundred left? How about that? Right there? Nineteen
hundred right there?

Speaker 7 (01:04:40):
Part of the crazy part about it, Chris, if he's
not eligible, he's as good an entry as the other
individuals that have been knocked out there.

Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
Very good point, Very good point. Hey Todd, have a
great week, buddy, Great information as always, always a pleasure. Gentlemen,
That's the board podcast. Find it however you consume podcast?
Might I suggest using the iHeart Radio app. All right,
ladies and gentlemen, Here he is Steve de Seger with
an update on everything going on in the world of sports.
What's up, Steve?

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
The Giants are terrible. That's what's up. Buffalo fourteen to nine.
The final Josh Allen two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
The quarterbacks play specifically, and I shall illuminate. Giants quarterback
Daniel Jones was out tonight with the neck injury. He'd
been sacked twenty eight times in five games to Rod
Taylor was sacked three times tonight. They're missing three tackles now.

(01:05:30):
Taylor ex of Buffalo, was the starter in Buffalo tonight.
The Giants are his sixth NFL team. The Giants have
gone four straight games at a touchdown pass. Through six
games of this season, they have two total touchdown passes.
That's the lowest total at this point of an NFL
season since JaMarcus Russell and the Raiders of two thousand

(01:05:50):
and nine. Yeah, exactly, it's not good.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
That was a bad year. I think that's where I
started my alcoholism. Hey what two thousand and nine and
the Raiders and jam.

Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
As we mentioned, the Giants had first and goal at
the end of the first half and got no points,
and had a goal to go at the end of
the second half and got no points on the final
play from the one through incomplete in the end zone.
No PI called Stefan Diggs in the win. Well. He
was targeted on over half of his routes tonight, sixteen targets.

(01:06:22):
He finished with ten receptions one hundred yards Buffalo four
in two Giants one and five. By the way, Saquon
Barkley was active after the ankle injury, but yeah, ninety
three yards rushing tonight, but on his first eighteen carries
he only had thirty two yards. The Jets upset Philadelphia
twenty to fourteen on a touchdown run with under two

(01:06:43):
minutes left. It came right after an interception. In fact,
we let him score, absolutely they did. The replay really
showed that it was. It was even bad for flagfoot.

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
What guy did do? What guy did? Two touch? Like, Okay,
I'm just gonna go and give you see if I
ring you down, I'm gonna give you a two touch.

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
But still, geez. The Eagles could not come back and
with the four turnovers they get an l had been
five and oh lost to the Jets on the road.
You know, we've had well all but one game so
far in this NFL week. Out of the fourteen games,
eleven have been within one score. In the fourth quarter
including tonight's game. And then we had the Jets overcoming

(01:07:23):
the eleven point deficit and winning Reese Hall with their
go ahead touchdown in the final two minutes. And by
the way, for the Jets on defense, Quinn and Williams
within interception, Quincy Williams with a fumble recovery, first pair
of brothers to record a takeaway for the same team
in over a decade since the Vikings e J. Henderson
and Aaron Henderson. And we had the upset at Cleveland

(01:07:45):
where a guy off the practice squad is the winning quarterback. PJ.
Walker had no touchdowns, two interceptions and beat a team
that was five and oh Cleveland nineteen seventeen. The final
Browns were down ten to nothing in the first half
and still win the game in the last two minutes
Dustin Hopkins with the go ahead field goal. We talked
about all the offense that the Dolphins had this year,

(01:08:07):
the defense, and what the Browns have been allowing or
not allowing. They've only allowed in five games one thousand
yards total. That hasn't happened with any team to start
a season in the last forty years. It's really stunning
what happened today Cleveland with two late field goals to
win San Francisco after their first drive, which was a touchdown.

(01:08:28):
The Niners had twelve drives and twelve first downs. Sheez
twenty five penalties combined in this game, by the way,
as well, in London, Baltimore now four and two, got
to win at Tennessee twenty four to sixteen, and that
one Lamar Jackson had sixty two yards rushing. He's had
at least a fifty yard rushing game as a quarterback
fifty times in his career. Already. Only Michael Vick is

(01:08:51):
higher than that on that list of running quarterbacks. It
was Las Vegas and the Rams each winning at home
Detroit five and one after the victory at Tampa Bay,
Miami five and one after blitzing winless Carolina, University of
Washington up to number five in the new College Football polls.
Kyle Larson took the NASCAR race in Las Vegas, finishing
just out of Christopher Bell. Larson led the most laps

(01:09:14):
half the race. Larson's victory gets him the first of
the four available positions in the Cup Series Championship four
race at Phoenix in three weeks. Brooks Koepka won the
live golf event in Saudi Arabia in a playoff and
Game one of the ALCS was tonight, Texas wins at Houston,
beating Justin Verlander two nothing. The Rangers are still undefeated

(01:09:35):
this postseason, with almost every game having been on the road.
There's six and zero total and the bullpen nineteen and
a third innings these playoffs nineteen strikeouts Texas bullpen era
one point eighty six. Wow, which proves yet again how
different the postseason is in the regular season. They could
not find a closer during the regular season. They use

(01:09:55):
this one guy Leclaire every game of the postseason that
they need him, and one win after another. It just
there's no explaining.

Speaker 6 (01:10:03):
This.

Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
Game two is tomorrow afternoon, also on Fox four thirty
pm Eastern.

Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
Back to you, Hey, thanks Steve, have ah, Well, we'll
see here in a bit.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
Yeah, it's coming back.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):

(01:10:35):
Bank member fd I C all right, you want to
before we hit what we learn after week seven, Arnie,
let's go ahead and hit one other time honored tradition. Yeah,
Roman numeral number five, Roman numeral number five? Who saved
their season in the National Football League? I guess you

(01:10:55):
could use Thursday, though the Chiefs Broncos game definitely put
me to sleep. So who saved their season here in
the National.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
F Well, I think you could just start with what
we were talking about with the Jets. I mean, two
and four, your starting quarterback is a whole different thing
than three and three. And like you said right there
in the thickest things for the wild card race, their
schedule was real tough through their first six. It gets
a lot easier from here on out. I don't know
how many games are gonna win, but that that saved

(01:11:25):
their season and they beat the top team and gave
him their first loss. I can't think of anybody who
had had a more important win than the Jets right
off the bat.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
Agreed, agreed, I would throw it's as weird as it is.
I would throw the Commanders in there, because I don't
know what they're playing for outside of maybe a playoff berth.
But they had just been beaten forty to twenty by
the Chicago Bears, and they had actually played Philly fairly
tough and had that ugly game against Buffalo. They just

(01:11:54):
needed to write the ship a little bit. And everyone
was talking about this is the easiest to give me
ever at Lanta is gonna roll and they beat the
falcon So I would take Washington in a weird kind
of a way. And you know, maybe Cincinnati two, aren't
he That was a gross game. The Bengals Seahawks game was.
For some reason, they were infatuated with having it all
over the red zone today. Geez, come on, guys, when
it's a terrible game, stay away from it. But can

(01:12:16):
we throw Cincy in that mix because they needed a
win to keep keep pace?

Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Definitely could throw Seattle should have won that game. They
were moving the ball at the end of the game
and they weren't able to punch it in. And I
would put Las Vegas your Raiders in that mix. Also,
look I don't think they're gonna go far, but they're
right there still the thicket. Had they dropped the two
and four and Garoppolo hurd, you could pretty much right
right the season over. Now they're three and three, a

(01:12:40):
winnable game next weekend. I don't know what's gonna happen.
Is it gonna be a Hoyer again? I don't know
what the hell they're gonna do with quarterback, but you know,
maybe they'll have to go ahead and sign somebody. But
at least they saved their season now.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
I think if they get the whole week, it's a O'Connell.
But like I said, if it's a you know, he's
not prepping as the starter and give me G's getting
all the snaps, that's when I think Brian Hoyer gets
the call as the back. We'll see. Maybe they shifted up.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Since you can't get let's just say, you can't obviously
get the top two picks in Williams and May a quarterback.
Who would you want as your quarterback for next year?
And I'm telling people like Murray, yeah, I was just
the fields right, Yes, those two are the top three.

Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
Were going to say, you want to throw anyone else
in there. How about Kirk? How about a Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
Cousins, But if you can get to one of the
top two, you're not gonna go for Cousins. I'm assuming I.

Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
Wouldn't be surprised if Cousins is in a more pursued
entity than either one of those guys.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
Well, he said he's not moving this year. He's putting
the kebach on that.

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
Think about this, Yeah, who would you rather have? Arnie? Now?
I know who I have because I'm a video game freak,
So I want Kyler Murray or Justin Fields.

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
I want Justin Fields.

Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
But with the way that NFL brains think they might
want to bring in a more established veteran guy, right,
I mean Kurt possible. Yea, he'd be a hell of
a fit in Atlanta right now with what they're trying
to do. He'd be really good in Atlanta. So it
wouldn't surprise me at all to see he might not
be too bad at Tampa either, if their guys decide
that they want to stick around. But I'm with you,

(01:14:13):
I think that as much as I was all in
on my team when he catle Williams, Arnie, if he's
not there's gonna be some interesting consolation possibilities out there,
aren't there? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:14:23):
Absolutely? I mean NFLT veterans, Like we just mentioned a
couple of them, and I can see them being available too.
I don't know what it would cost you to get them,
that's the question. I don't think as much as everybody
else is thinking, because it comes with a big contract
and they'll be lucky to give rid of those contracts.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Well, when we come back, let's see what those numbers
might look like. Plus Disager has everything that's going on
in the world of sports from an in depth perspective
with Arnie and Plank. Next right here on Fox Sports Radio,
coming to Your Life from the Tirack dot Com studios.
It's Arnie and Plank. Slo to Steve Sager. What's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
Ste waiting for this segment. I've been waiting to hear
what the saga had to say. Go ahead, the saga.

Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
About your Arizona Wildcats.

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
No, I want to No, I want to know what
you got me. Today's National Bosses Days, So I want
to know what you bought me. Wow, your best shoe?

Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
Geez?

Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
I guess nothing. I guess yeah, that would be wow.

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
It would be nothing. Wow, man, somebody's living in fantasy.
That I mentioned at the bottom of the hour that
Cleveland won with a backup quarterback, a guy off the
practice squad who had no touchdowns and two interceptions. AP
points out this whole NFL week here with one game
to go tomorrow, we're at the worst passer rating for
the week in a decade. It's currently only a seventy

(01:15:45):
seven passer rating around the NFL combined. It's that it's
just not been good. And then we had the Sunday
night game, which I'll get to in a moment, that
was a Buffalo fourteen to nine win against the Giants,
who've had no quarterback play all season. This one game
to go we've got is Dallas at the Chargers on
Monday night. Football Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa was listed as

(01:16:07):
questionable with a tow injury. Cowboys linebacker Layton vander Esh
is out. Chargers quarterback Justin Fingerustin Herbert despite the finger
injury off the injury report, so I don't know if
he's going to take snaps under center, but he's definitely playing.
Same with running back Austin Eckler, who had the ankle
injury off the injury report for Dallas or running back
Tony Pollard and wide receiver Cavante Turpin. They had full

(01:16:29):
practices each Next Sunday, Chargers at Kansas City. That will
be a day game, but on the Charger schedule starting
Tomorrow night. And they do win or lose, tend to
play entertaining games, and they do have star power and
all of that, so they get scheduled for these primetime
games starting tomorrow. The Chargers are scheduled for six primetime

(01:16:50):
games in the next couple of months. Why not only
against Dallas, but there's a Bears at Chargers that's currently
scheduled to be Sunday night at the end of the month.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
I'll take that Sunday night.

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
There's a Chargers at Jets Monday night er to start November.
End of November, a Ravens at Chargers. There's a Chargers
at Vegas Thursday night game mid December, and there's a
new game for Christmas weekend this year that's streaming only
on the Saturday night before Christmas. That's going to be
the Chargers hosting Buffalo, which gets to the Bills, who

(01:17:22):
somehow won at home tonight fourteen to nine, Josh Allen
two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. As Chris Collinsworth
was mentioning on the telecast throughout, he just doesn't seem
to be right, doesn't seem to be one hundred percent healthy.
But after two long drives he had the two TD
passes and then they do wind up winning the game.
All you need to know about how horrendous the Giants
were tonight is this from stats Ink appropriately first time

(01:17:46):
in the Super Bowl era, so that goes back fifty
five years plus that all of this happened in one
game and yet the team still lost. The Giants had
more rushing yards than the opponent, more passing yards, fewer
interceptions thrown, fewer fumbles loss, fewer missed field goals, and
still they lose at Buffalo two. So they in the

(01:18:06):
Super Bowl era, when doing all of those things in
a game, including postseason, teams had been one thirty four
to oher until the Giants tonight. At the end of
the first half, they had the first and goal and
got no points. At the end of the second half,
on the final play from the one granite, no PI
was called, but they threw incomplete into the end zone
and it's an L and the Giants are one and five.

(01:18:28):
You know, over the previous ten years of NFL football,
when a team was shut out at home for the
first three quarters, they never ended up winning the game.
The Bills did that tonight. The Packers stole a game
like that this year as well. Saquon Barkley at least
was able to be active and playing after the ankle
injury tonight, but in the first half, despite sixteen carries,

(01:18:49):
he only had twenty three yards rushing. First time in
almost a decade in the league that someone had that
many carries in a first half and that few yards.
We do have the two upsets with the Jets winning
and Cleveland winning. And I mentioned last at the bottom
of the hour last update about the offense, we can
update it for the Miami Dolphins six games. They have

(01:19:11):
almost three thousand total yards in six games, the only
team in NFL history that's ever been over three thousand
at this point. Great at show on turf Saint Louis
Rams of two thousand, Who.

Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
Would have seen that about the Dolphins?

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
No, no, no, And the Miami Dolphins are also top
five in points in a season for your first six
games of a season. I mentioned that most had already
has eleven touchdowns in the season, including three today, And
I also talked about Tyreek Hill. He's over eight hundred
yards receiving already. And we've only played six games. Miami

(01:19:46):
five and one after beating winless Carolina forty two to
twenty one, and Detroit five and one. After a victory
at Tampa Bay twenty to six. Bucks quarterback Baker Mayfield
injured his left hand. It is called a bruce. Tampa
Bay's a offense. Though their first nine drives today only
nine first.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Downs good stuff, Steve, good stuff, wild numbers. So the
quarterback play being terrible wasn't just our imagination money, no, no, yeah, exactly,
it's it's it's bad, and I don't think it's gonna
get much better. All right, It's a time honored tradition
during the National Football League season. What did we learn?

(01:20:24):

(01:21:04):
the Rangers tonight, who grab a one zerl lead in
that best of seven series.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Because you met the New York Rangers. I'm like, well,
I miss that game in hockey. What happened?

Speaker 1 (01:21:11):
You know? You thought whenever I said the Rangers beat
the Astros, I was talking about that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:16):
I did hear the Astros part? Go ahead, go aheahead.

Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Goodness. It's three point thirty Central, four thirty Eastern tomorrow
for Game two of this series. Though we will finally
very rare Saturday night off. We'll finally get things going
in the National League playoffs as well to at some point.
Oh yeah, we'll do that tomorrow as well, with the
Game one between the Diamondbacks and the Phillies eight Eastern

(01:21:42):
on TBS. Game one though, in the Rangers Astro series
goes to Texas, and if you missed it earlier, the
Giants fall to zero to four in primetime games. They
have now gone three straight games without an offensive touchdown.
The Bills beat them fourteen to nine. Anything else that
we haven't hit over the first couple of hours, and
if you missed anything, highly suggest you check out the podcast.

(01:22:05):
It's up as soon as we wrap up at Foxsports
radio dot com or search Fox Sports Radio weekends. However
you consume podcasts, Are we missing anything from week six
in the National Football League? You think no?

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
I think everything is bunched up there though. I think
everybody has a good chance. You know, even the three
and three teams are right there in the thicke of
things if you have to. If you happen to drop
the two and four, you're not completely out of it.
But uh no, everybody's all bunched up there though.

Speaker 1 (01:22:30):
So we can play the game. Then, are you ready?

Speaker 2 (01:22:32):
Let'sp I'm ready to do it all right, listen, I've
got three for you. Let's start. Let me start off,
because what I learned after week six we know this,
and after week six.

Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
We know this.

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Chris and I told you this before the season started,
and if it was one pick I ever got right
dead on, it was this one. I told you before
the season started that it seems to me that a
lot of these coaches are going forward on fourth down.
I wonder if that's going to be a trend in
the regular season. I don't have any numbers, but it

(01:23:03):
seems like coaches have lost their damn mine going forward
on fourth in their own territory, passing up field goals,
which I'm not so certainly not much against, but sometimes
going forward on your own thirty five, your own forty.
I mean, that's insane. That's a death wish. That's a
recipe for losing a game. There, Chris, would you do that?
But it seems I wish. I'd like to know how

(01:23:25):
many times coaches have gone forward on fourth down this
year compared to last year, because it seems like it's
like double or triple it's all over the place.

Speaker 4 (01:23:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
I don't have the specific numbers to back it up.
And I feel the same way you do it.

Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Oh, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:23:39):
I feel the same you do. And I remember, gosh,
this is going to tie in college, So don't get
madame shady Sean. But Dave Randa, who's the head coach
at Baylor, not the best example since they kind of
stink this year, but he said, hey, whenever we start
a drive, well, you know, there's a number in a
yard line, and if we get to that number down
in distance wise, and if we're at a certain yard
line and closer to mid field or the red, we're

(01:24:00):
going right. And so that's I think there's a lot
of people that feel that way. And it depends on
where you are in a game. It's not there's not
a lot of guys saying I got a gut feel here. No, no, no,
n It's got a lot of baseball and analytics to
it where it's driven by the numbers. And what these
analytical kind of I guess you could say I almost
had print outs. Yeah, no one's printing anything out anymore playing,
but what these analytic numbers would they kind of show

(01:24:23):
you where you have the best chance to be successful.

Speaker 2 (01:24:25):
Chris back in the day, I mean we're talking seventies
and eighties, even nineties in the NFL, rarely through what
they go for the less it was at the end
of the game and they had to go forward for
fourth out, even if it was fourth and an inch
in your own zone and your own and your own side.
Coaches would never do something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
You know, some would say it has been the improvement
and courage of coaches, may they're not afraid to go
for it, or maybe just the changing of the game.
All right, I'll uh, I agree with you on that.
I think you're right. I'll say this after week six,
I finally have to buy into it, and I finally
believe guys were watching the end of the Bill Belichick
era in New England, and I've been one of those

(01:25:05):
last bastions of If this man isn't safe and his job,
none of us are safe anywhere. And I'm starting to
believe the latter. None of us are safe anywhere. It
doesn't matter Arnie drops a bomb on the air tonight
and they don't dump it regardless of how much you
love him. He's fired New England Patriots dropping a dud
this year doesn't matter what's happened before he's fired. And
I cannot believe I'm saying this right now, but I

(01:25:28):
watched them play today, Arnie. I watched them play football,
or at least what was allegedly football. That's the worst
offense I've ever seen from a National Football League team period.
In of sentence and Patriot fans, I would like to say,
you deserve better, but you have had a lot of championships,
and you have had a lot of good times while
we've all set here and suctitude, So embrace it, enjoy

(01:25:48):
This is a suck that you haven't seen in a while.
And Arnie, it's gonna get worse before it gets better
for New England.

Speaker 2 (01:25:53):
Yeah, yeah, it is until they get done to the quarterback.
I agree with you one hundred percent. I totally agree
with you about Belichick. Also, this is gonna be his
final year with the Patriots. I don't know if you're
gonna call it a firing or he's going to want
to move along. He's not gonna retire, though, God goes
somewhere else and coach somewhere else out there. I have

(01:26:14):
no idea where that's going to be right now, but
who knows. Maybe you could be Las Vegas for oh
I know, but he will go ahead and end up
somewhere else. I don't think this is gonna be the
last of Bill Belichick to you or what.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
No no, I don't think he's going anywhere. I don't
think he's gonna be a big media guy, even though
he has that potential because he's boring as playing toast,
which is fine, but I just I don't see him
being a guy that gets in the media. I don't
see him being a guy that does anything but wanting
to coach.

Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
Chris after a week six. I know this, and you
may have to have your hand on the dumb button
because I know this job today. I know this, But
the Emperor has no close the Kansas City Chiefs go
is not a good offense anymore, Okay, I said it.
All the small homes and all the commercials he's doing,

(01:27:03):
maybe you should do less commercials and worry about the offense.
Nineteen points against the Denver Broncos. I think only against
the Chicago Bears did he put up some decent numbers
out there. This Kansas City offense is a mere shell
of what it used to be, and nobody's really bringing
it up. There was Oh, they'll be okay, hey Kelsey

(01:27:24):
and Taylor Swift. It's gonna be fined, Like Taylor Swift
is gonna suit up and play for the Kansas City Chiefs.
This is not a great offense like it used to be,
and it's gonna come back and bite him in the backside.

Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Okay, after week six, I know this. It is very
hard to tell who is actually a very good slash
dominant team outside of one right now. Dolphins the Detroit Lions.

Speaker 2 (01:27:48):
Oh, oh my bad. Jeez.

Speaker 1 (01:27:50):
Yeah, the Dolphins. You haven't beat anyone good yet. Beat
someone good, then we'll have a conversation. Wow, they've gone
on the road, They've manhandled teams. They they bea Kansas
city and the opener. I keep waiting for Jamiir Gibbs
to break out for the sake of my fantasy team.
But bottom line, they're figuring it out. You know, they're

(01:28:10):
finding ways. And the schedule is fascinating over the next
few weeks for the Lions, they go to Baltimore next week,
They've got the Raiders on Monday Night Football, and then
they travel to the Chargers. So, you know me, I
love to look at schedule. I think they've put themselves
in a position where they're gonna win their division. They've
already got a two game lead over Green Bay, who,

(01:28:31):
by the way, looks terrible after watching them on Monday
Night football. I like your Dolphins a lot, Arnie. Let's
talk after Sunday Night football next week, right, because that's
when we'll learn a lot more. Philly Miami is gonna
be fascinating. But I'm a believer. Now, I'm a believer.
I'm buyding everything that the Detroit Lions are selling right now.

Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
Is tomorrow a must win game for both teams, Cowboys
and the Chargers. I mean, the Cowboys can't drop the
three and three expect to win the division. And I mean,
here's there one window of opportunity with Philadelphia losing where
they can gain a game on them. And of course
the Charges you dropped the two and three, that's gonna
be a hole you don't want to climb out of,

(01:29:10):
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Yeah, no, I agree one hundred percent. I think the
Cowboys desperately need this based on what happened to them
last week. I think the Cowboys desperately need this after
how bad badly they looked against San Francisco. And now,
I mean, look, I could be saying the same thing
about your Cowboys that about the Cowboy, well, your Cowboys
that we've said about Miami, boy, they've looked incredible against

(01:29:32):
bad football teams. Well, Arizona's pretty bad too, that's the
only one of the season. But when it came time
to stepping up in competition, what happened? Cowboys got smoked.
And I think I think these are two teams. Do
Saga might want to correct me if I'm wrong. We
can fight about it on Twitter or the ex if
you want tonight. But I think these are two teams
that are very similar in their talent level. You know,

(01:29:53):
the Chargers have an agive quarterback, but what has Justin
Herbert did in the playoffs so far right? Very similar
in the back feel very similar in fact, that the
Chargers might have the edge in skilled players when they're
all healthy. I think these are two teams already that
have a very very similar roster, and you're waiting for
someone to step up and make a play to take
you to that next level. So no, no, dud know,

(01:30:14):
I'm with you. Must win tomorrow night for one of
those teams.

Speaker 3 (01:30:16):
And I would add the Chargers are mostly healthy. We'll
see about Joey Bosa and yeah, of course they're missing
Mike Williams now but they've got Justin Herbert still. With
the bye week, he didn't miss any games. Austin Eckler
is coming back, Keenan Allen, you got star power, and
they have a great left tackle. They drafted first round
Raereshaun Slater as well, which of course helps keep your
quarterback a little healthy. It's true, we'll see if they

(01:30:38):
can get the kind of pressure that San Francisco got,
because you know, we've talked about Micah Parsons and the
amount of pressures he gets on quarterbacks, and then San
Francisco just flat took care of him Sunday night, and
they had good video package on NBC of showing the
amount of people that were coming over from out of
their own area to chip him. That really was a

(01:30:58):
focus and it helped.

Speaker 2 (01:31:02):
By the way, Chris, if I would have told you
that to or Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes or Jalen
Hurts or whatever top tier quarterback that I'm missing off
the top of my head or whatever it is, if
I would have told you that they threw for one

(01:31:22):
hundred and twenty five yards in a loss, you'd be
chopping them up right now, would you not be?

Speaker 1 (01:31:27):
You'd be you know me, I'm I'm not a box
score nerd, but sure for the sake of the argument,
I'm yes, I would be killing him.

Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
Anybody can say thing about brock party or are we
just gonna let that one slide because of what a
great start he's had to is beginning of his career.
Buck twenty five? Are you serious? Because, like I said,
if any of those other quarterbacks if to A to
A twenty five, the tweets we'd be getting right now,
you'd think the season was over. I'd be getting a
million of them would be It'd be crazy. What the

(01:31:56):
way Twitter would be going on right now.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
I don't know. It's it's wild because and Mark, if
you're listening, this isn't a shot. But Mark Willard as
acts like all anyone ever does is dump all over
Rock Purty. No. I mean, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:32:11):
Trying to be a smart ass about it, but that
has to do with his co hosts. So he gets
it every day.

Speaker 1 (01:32:15):
Oh is it? Is it his code off in the
Bay Area? I mean, oh, okay, I see what you're saying.
All right, so in his local station, all right, But.

Speaker 3 (01:32:23):
I'll repeat what we said after the first drive a
San Francisco touchdown today it was twelve drives, twelve first downs,
the granted Deebo Samuel left early with the shoulder injury,
Christian McCaffrey, the oblique injury, tackle Trent Wilson, Trent Williams
with a foot injury by the way, as well. We'll
see how that goes.

Speaker 1 (01:32:41):
Yeah, so I hear what you're saying, Arnie, because I
tend to see mostly glowing responses. But I wonder where
that undercurrent of disdain is because I tend to not
see it.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
But you still can't put up that type of numbers
there in any game like that. Like I said, you
take any of the quarterbacks I mentioned, or any if
Cousins puts up one twenty five in a loss, we'd
be roasting him. Oh like there's no tomorrow and mac
Jones we'd be roasting. So I just it was just
crazy that he could only and yes, I know McCaffrey
got hurt, but he's still end up coming back in

(01:33:15):
He the most of the game out there.

Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
The rookie kicker missed two field goals.

Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
Yeah, but that's incredible.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
That's just that you were already saying that doesn't matter
now never draft a kicker.

Speaker 3 (01:33:25):
That's the conclusion we're all coming to yeah, the.

Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
Party was gonna Hardy almost said, yeah, well that doesn't
matter in a game that finished with two point right,
I got one more? I got one more for you
all right? After week six, I know this, as much
as I'm really happy for my man Baker, as much
as I dig see and Derek Carr thriving to a

(01:33:49):
certain he threw for over three hundred yards today, that
I think the NFC South is what we thought it
was the great, late late great Dinny Green. The Bears
are who we thought they weren't, and we let them
off the hook. Well, we spent weeks one and two
kind of bragging about the NFC South. Buccaneers looked hapless
today against the Lions. Falcons got beat by Washington, the

(01:34:12):
Saints got beat by the Texans on the road, and
the Panthers are just well, you watched a lot of
the Panthers today, Arnie, long way to go. I'm afraid
I have to report, after some excitement after weeks one
and two, after week six, the NFC South is we
thought they were. Yeah, good luck at least one team
getting to nine and eight or potentially ten and seven

(01:34:32):
to win that division.

Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
Yapa's still the best team in that division, at least
I think they are. It should finish Tampa Saints one
and two and they'll fight it out to the wire.
I don't think Atlanta's got enough to go ahead and
keep up with them, to be honest.

Speaker 1 (01:34:43):
Well, Atlanta's got a great shot next week because they
travel to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Anything else
you want to add before we take a break and
get to the text.

Speaker 2 (01:34:52):
Yeah, no, let's get to some text. B I was
gonna say, why is Mike Vick coming back from Atlanta?
Because unless they make a change of quarterback, they're not
going anywhere either.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
We're brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes buddling

To the tweets. Next, it's Arnie in Plank on a
Fox Football Sunday. At least I haven't. Maybe you have
Arnie from the tire rack dot Com studios tonight have

(01:35:21):
seen an update on any of the quarterback injuries. Here's
the latest I had. If you've heard anything more, please
jump in justin Fields dislocated right thumb. Looks like x
rays were okay, but an MRI tomorrow. Ryan Tannehill ankle,
MRI tomorrow. Trevor Lawrence knee seems like it's gonna be okay,
but he's never had a knee injury, so he's he

(01:35:42):
doesn't really know veractly. He has no idea. Jimmy g
a back injury. I sent you the video.

Speaker 2 (01:35:50):
That's amazing that he barely got touched and that he's
not only standing upholding his back, but he yes, good,
rush to the hospital for it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
Yeah, he finished the first half, but then when he
went to the sidelines out and that might have been
the last player of the drive. When I say finished
the first half, but as he was walking off, you
could tell he's like this, dude's not coming back in
the game. We'll see. Baker had an injured left arm,
left hand. No update on that so far tonight. And
then we had several position I say position players, but
skilled players. Deebo Samuel had an x rays that were

(01:36:21):
negative and on his shoulder. He'll have an MRI today.

Speaker 2 (01:36:23):
That's scary. That hurts. That really puts out the big
time with the injuries they have that really hurts them.

Speaker 1 (01:36:29):
Christian McCaffrey with the oblique rib injury, and we'll see
about Lane Johnson as well for the Eagle. So a
lot of injuries to get you caught up on a
busy night here from the tyrack dot com studios. All right,
you said you want it? You want the tweets from
the show tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:36:41):
Yes, absolutely got a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
Of I Jason b Diamond, our buddy Jason takes us
away from the NFL. He writes, I learned this week
after Week seven of the college football season, Penn State
versus Ohio State could be a college football playoff off
winner in game. Plus, the Colorado Band of being called

(01:37:04):
friends sportsman like conduct Friday for playing too loud was hilarious. Okay,
First of all, a couple of things there real quick.
Jason had asked earlier about why Dion takes the ball
in overtime. That's their second overtime game this year. That's
his thing. He feels like that they're in a better
position for Chador to go score for them, and they
would be to try to stop for something that's always

(01:37:24):
been his take.

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
Mathematically, you're supposed to take it second. I mean, it
gives you better odds. Statistically, you're supposed to take the
ball second. So he's going against odds there.

Speaker 1 (01:37:32):
That's right, And that's the reason why, because he believes
that Shador is in a better position outside of Saturday night,
our Friday night to put them in a place where
they can win a football game by scoring first and
putting pressure on this.

Speaker 2 (01:37:44):
Do you believe And there was a story out there
that says Shador doesn't throw the ball away because he
doesn't want to go ahead and hurt his percentage percentage.

Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
That'd be fantastic, it's true.

Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
But you're laughing at that. But the NBA had to
implement at the rule Chris that you know, the players
started stop shooting half court in full court shots at
the end of the quarters because they didn't want to
go ahead and ruin their shooting percentage.

Speaker 1 (01:38:09):
Wow, I've never heard that.

Speaker 2 (01:38:11):
And the NBA said, fine, we're not counting that as
a shot attempt. Now, that's been going on for a
couple years. That's not like if I throw it up
at the end of a quarter from behind half court,
that's not considered a shot attell. But what if you
make it unless it goes in.

Speaker 1 (01:38:23):
So it only counts if it goes in. Yes, yes,
that's a rule. I didn't know that. Yeah, I learned
something tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:38:29):
Yeah, so, I mean so, I mean, obviously players do
know about their statistics. And for a long time you've
heard the rumor that Aaron Rodgers never liked to chuck
it up at the end of half and stuff like that,
but he didn't want to have the interceptions and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:38:41):
Now, no, if that's I don't I mean again, go
win football games. I don't care right where I stand
if you're worried about it that much, and that's going
to race some red flags for me. Right if you're
looking at this guy to take over your franchise, I mean,
right now, he's the he's the third pick out of
the three quarterbacks. Yeah, it goes I guess people are

(01:39:02):
not trying to say Drake mayhead of Caleb Williams, but
it would go Williams May and then shit or Sanders.
But if you're if that's something that's legit, then that's
concerning to me. Also, by the way, the Colorado band,
it's not that they play too loud. You're supposed to
stop playing once they break the huddle or once they
get over football, and when you keep playing and you
keep doing it, that's when you get the foul. That's

(01:39:25):
meet the personal foul. If you want to nerd out
on some college football rules anytime, peeps, just hit me
up on Twitter at playing show. Are you fired up? Though?
For Ohio State and Penn State this weekend? That's an
awesome matchup.

Speaker 2 (01:39:35):
It is absolutely you know, I think we're sending Fox
is sending a one of the radio shows out there,
so that's gonna be exciting. And ours, No, not ours?

Speaker 1 (01:39:44):
Why would they send ours?

Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
Yeah, because we're Sunday night. I think they're gonna send
the morning show out there to be broadcasting.

Speaker 1 (01:39:49):
For bigger college football gurus than you, and.

Speaker 2 (01:39:52):
I I know, I know, just to send Brady quinnan all.

Speaker 1 (01:39:56):
He knows, just not today. Yeah, come on, I saw Brady.
I saw Brady at the Cincinnati game, so that may
be happy to see his face. But it's gonna be
a fun, big weekend coming up. In college football. Josh
Wright's opponents that play the forty nine ers of the
week before their next game have it combined one and
nineteen record dating back to last season. Now, I want to.

Speaker 2 (01:40:19):
Give you that stat again. You mean after they're done.

Speaker 1 (01:40:22):
That play the Niners the week before their next game
have a combined record of one to nineteen. So, in
other words, Josh, if I'm reading this right, you basically
are handed two l's when you play the Niners because
you lose to them, and then it's carried over because
you're so physically beat up. There used to be a
stat back to college football again, when TCU first came

(01:40:44):
into the league in the Big Twelve. I think it
was like ninety percent of the time Oni after you
played TCU, you lost the next week because it was
such a physical game. So Josh, I don't I'm just
going to assume you're right, because that is an awesome number, Baker.
After Week six, we know Dak has not yet thrown
ten interceptions yet. Well, they do play on Monday Night football,

(01:41:07):
so there's time, right.

Speaker 2 (01:41:08):
I'm ready to give up and move past him already.
If you could do a mulligan, if everything's all equal
and you're a cowboy fan, I can see the Cowboy
fans going with the fifteen to twenty other quarterbacks before
they would take Dak Prescott.

Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
I mean yeah, obviously, but kind of stuck with him.
Now you paid him, you said he's your guy. Mister
mallor writes cue the unsolved mysteries theme. I have a
conspiracy theory about the Cardinals and Kyler Murray Arizona knows
he's one hundred percent healthy and is keeping him off
the field to diminish his trade value.

Speaker 2 (01:41:45):
Why would they Why would they do that?

Speaker 1 (01:41:47):
Okay, mister maller here, let me clean up that conspiracy
theory for you, because if he went on the field,
there's a really good chance he could increase the trade
value exactly because he's still a freak. But may the
thought is keep him off the field so you can
go ahead and keep your high draft pick.

Speaker 2 (01:42:04):
That's what I'm all for, that conspiracy theory. If you
wanted to go ahead and shoot that one out there,
I'm like, Okay, maybe I'm not. I don't believe it,
but I can see where you're coming up with that.
They don't want to bring him back. They want to
love sure, they want the double one pick. Okay, fine,
but I don't understand the other part of it. How
they would hurt his Okay, let me theorize for you,
because it goes back is awful.

Speaker 1 (01:42:25):
But before we get to the saga, and there's time,
I'm gonna read all your tweets. Guys, it's all coming up.
You're in a market for a quarterback. Let's let's say, hypothetically,
the Raiders, what are you having to give up for
Kyler Murray? You decide, I'm not going to get a
top five pick. I don't want to spend a I
don't want to go out on an aging guy. I

(01:42:45):
don't want to get the Derek Carrs and the Kirk
Cousins of the world. I want to go get a
guy that maybe could give me three really good years
if he stays healthy. What are you willing to give
up for Kyler Murray? Or in your mind, what is
he worth?

Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
I would?

Speaker 1 (01:42:59):
I would because that's a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (01:43:02):
Well, I would give up a first and a second
round draft pick of oh really, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:43:08):
Okay, you give up a first and a second.

Speaker 2 (01:43:10):
Yeah, I would have to give up a first in
a second.

Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
I would think that you would almost force the Cardinals
to come to your level. I would only offer because
of the money. Well, because, well, if they have the
first pick in the.

Speaker 2 (01:43:22):
Draft, well, right, Okay, I see that part, yes.

Speaker 1 (01:43:26):
Because if you think about it, there's really two teams
that could end up controlling the top four picks in
the draft, and that's Arizona in Chicago. Because Arizona has
their own pick, they have Houston's pick, which by the way,
I think Houston's much better than anyone realized, but just
for the sake of this argument, And then you have Chicago,
who has their own pick in Carolinas. So if you know,

(01:43:48):
if you know, Arizona's in a spot, aren't where they're
going to take one of the quarterbacks? I'm like, I
ain't giving you a first round pick for Kyler Murray
right because you know they want to get rid of them.

Speaker 2 (01:43:57):
I know they want to go ahead and get rid
of them. But what happens if they didn't have that,
then all of a sudden you have to give up
first to the second. Does the price change that much
between having the first picking that.

Speaker 1 (01:44:07):
We'd be hell negotiating, wouldn't it.

Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
I guess I.

Speaker 1 (01:44:11):
Would love to see Kyler Murray get a fresh start
somewhere like Atlanta, maybe somewhere like Vegas. Once they fired
Josh McDaniels and hire Lincoln Riley. Or whomever in Vegas
or maybe even a place like Dallas. Right.

Speaker 2 (01:44:25):
You know, I know Arizona moved on pastor quarterback after
one year. Some teams actually moved past her quarterback after
one year. If Carolina I had the number one pick,
would they move out pastor quarterback?

Speaker 4 (01:44:37):
Can't?

Speaker 1 (01:44:38):
You can't? I mean, well they don't. I mean they
gave up their pick, their pick to Chicago, but you
gotta at least give him one more year.

Speaker 2 (01:44:44):
Right, Well, if you king of Woods, you're told me
his generation all I think he is.

Speaker 1 (01:44:48):
I think he is. But they decided they were going
to just go ahead and blow that season.

Speaker 2 (01:44:53):
Now, yeah, no, but too bad. That'd be quite the decision,
wouldn't it.

Speaker 1 (01:44:57):
I need to win some games so they don't feel
so terrible about it. All right, one final time tonight,
we got more of your tweets coming up to the
tyrack dot Com studios. But first here Steve di Sega.
With everything trending in the world of sports, what's up, Steve?

Speaker 3 (01:45:08):
You mentioned Kyler Murray. He still holds the NFL's rookie
record for most pass attempts without an interception. Yeah, yeah,
over two eleven or something to eleven without throwing a
pick at one point during his rookie season. But the
new record for from past number one of your career
until you throw your first interception. That's c J. Stroud,
who finally threw a pick for Houston today in their

(01:45:31):
win over New Orleans. The Texans rookie quarterback went one
hundred and ninety one straight passes before his first interception thrown,
the new NFL record to start a career. We'll get
to the Buffalo win the upset victories for the Jets
and Browns, but in Houston tonight Game one of the
Alcs on Fox TV, and the Texas Rangers won it

(01:45:52):
two nothing, beating Justin Verlander, who pitched into the seventh
inning one hundred and one pitches, but takes the loss.
Jordan Montgomery, the winning pitcher, nice acquisition six and a
third scoreless innings for him tonight and six strikeouts, so
the Rangers are now six and oh in these playoffs,
five and zero on the road. Game two is tomorrow afternoon,
also on Fox four to thirty pm Eastern Time, and

(01:46:13):
by the way, through the first two rounds of this postseason,
plus tonight, if you out Homer, your opponent in the game,
you're fifteen to one. There was a home run from
Texas tonight. For example, over half the run scored in
the playoffs have come via the home run so far
in this postseason. Rangers pitcher Max Scherzer, after the strange shoulder,
did make the roster for Texas this series so he

(01:46:34):
could pitch Wednesday in Game three. He had missed the
divisional round. You might ask why if these two both
have identical records this year they both won ninety games,
why does Houston have home field advantage. The answer is
because on the last day of the season, Houston clinched
the Al West and the first round by because of
the tiebreaker they had over the Rangers. Texas lost its

(01:46:55):
season finale, won nothing. So here the Rangers spin over
one hundred and fifty days in first place this season
and blew the division on the last day, and who cares.
They're undefeated in the postseason so far. The NLCS begins
Monday night with Arizona at Philadelphia. That is such a
great place to watch a playoff game on TV. That
crowd and how the Phillies have bonded with the crowd

(01:47:17):
and the amount of success they had. Do you know
that the Phillies since they built that ballpark have the
best postseason record of any team in any ballpark in
postseason history. By comparison the Mets in playoff games at
Shay Stadium, we're twenty six and thirteen. Phillies are twenty
six and eleven in their current ballpark. Kyle Larson won

(01:47:38):
the NASCAR Race in Las Vegas. Brooks Keepka took the
live golf event in a playoff in Saudi Arabia. So
any winner on that tour gets four million dollars, and
Keepka got another four million today because he finished top
three in the season's point race, so on course for
him over thirteen million dollars last year to the NFL

(01:47:58):
Buffalo fourteen to nine against the Giants. Josh Allen two
touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. The Giants at the
end of the first half had first and goal no points.

Speaker 1 (01:48:09):
End of the.

Speaker 3 (01:48:10):
Second half first and goal no points. Threw an incompletion
on the final play into the end zone. No pass
interference called Giants offense on red zone tds oh for
five no embarrassment one in five the win loss record
so far, and the Eagles got upset. They were five
and oh they had never lost to the Jets twelve

(01:48:30):
and oh, and yet the Jets on a touchdown run
with under two minutes left win the game, and that
came right after an interception twenty to fourteen to the final.
AJ Brown did have seven catches one hundred and thirty
one yards. That's four straight games.

Speaker 2 (01:48:43):
Why were they passing the ball? That was the worst
pass ever?

Speaker 3 (01:48:46):
Believe absolutely four turnovers for the Eagles tonight, so undefeated
no more, but AJ Brown four straight games with at
least one hundred and twenty five receiving yards. Calvin Johnson
had five straight such games. That's the mark as far
as since the merger nineteen seventy and the other upset
in Cleveland nineteen seventeen, a low scoring win against the

(01:49:09):
forty nine ers. Kyle Shanahan's been head coach for over
one hundred games in the regular season for San Francisco.
Today was their fewest net yards in a game with him.
Two fifteen was all. Christian McCaffrey left with injury, Deebo
Samuel left with injury, and the Niners missed a forty
one yard field goal attempt in the final seconds. In fact,
for any Shanahan offense, this is the fewest that any

(01:49:31):
offense is as far as those total yards in almost
a decade since he was Brown's offensive coordinator. So this
was a little stunning at how low scoring it was,
and still they almost stole it. At the end. San
Francisco had won fifteen straight in the regular season. At
Miami raheem mostered three touchdowns five and one record for
the Dolphins. They beat up Carolina forty two to twenty one.

(01:49:52):
Carolina is oz and six. Miles Sanders was out with
a bad shoulder for the Panthers. Chuba Hubbard nineteen carries,
eighty eight yard and a touchdown Detroit's five and one
after winning at Tampa Bay twenty to six. Jared Goff
over three hundred and fifty yards passing in two scores.
Jamiir Gibbs was out with a hamstring injury, and running
back David Montgomery of the Lions left with a rib injury,

(01:50:13):
so the team on twenty two carries had only forty
yards and still one on the road because the Tampa
Bay running backs were even worse. The Rams beat Arizona
twenty six to nine, Kyra and Williams one hundred and
fifty eight yards rushing in a score. He left late
in the game with an ankle injury. The team did
not seem too concerned afterwards. Las Vegas twenty one seventeen
over New England. The Patriots are one and five. They'll

(01:50:34):
host Buffalo next Sunday. Jimmy Garoppolo, Raiders quarterback left with
a back injury. DeVante Adams had two catches and they
still won the game. Patriots with ten penalties and were
sacked four times. And you mentioned the injury at Chicago,
Justin Fields, Bear's quarterback dislocated thumb. MRI tomorrow Chicago one
and five. They lost at home to Minnesota. Nineteen thirteen

(01:50:56):
wins for Cincinnati and Washington, wins for Houston and Jacksonville.
The London game went to Baltimore, and finally, in college football,
the University of Washington after that classic yesterday, is up
to number five in the new college football polls. Top
four stayed the same. Notre Dame moved up to number fifteen,
at ap usc fell to number eighteen. Air Force is six,

(01:51:16):
and oh It debuted at number twenty two. James Madison
is six and oh It just missed out. It's number
twenty six.

Speaker 2 (01:51:23):
I know they're ahead of us. We're thirty one.

Speaker 3 (01:51:26):
James Madison is not eligible for the postseason unless they
don't have enough teams. That has happened before, you know
where somebody they don't have enough six win teams, that
type of thing, then they can pick maybe James Madison.
Other than that, they're too new in fbis to be
selected for postseason. A reminder Saturday on Fox TV number
seven Penn State at number three Ohio States in Eastern time.

Speaker 1 (01:51:48):

(01:52:10):
F D I C. Did you happen to Did you
happen here? Probably not, because we've been sitting here talking
all night. Listen to Robert Salad about the job that
the Jets have done against a good group of quarterbacks.

Speaker 10 (01:52:22):
You know, through these first six weeks, we've played a
gone little quarterbacks. I know we haven't gotten all wins,
but we've embarrassed all of them.

Speaker 1 (01:52:29):
Wow, six quarterbacks have gotlet of quarterbacks and they've embarrassed
all of them.

Speaker 2 (01:52:35):
He's got a great defense. I we would imagine what
this team would be right now had they had they
had Rogers. By the way, are they going to trade Cook?
There was rumors that they might go ahead and trade Cook.

Speaker 1 (01:52:45):
Who wants them?

Speaker 2 (01:52:46):
Yeah nobody, that's the problem.

Speaker 1 (01:52:48):
I mean, yeah, yeah, we're gonna trade him. Right, you
were guy. You guys were the only ones that really
ended up paying the money he wanted to sign him.
One more quick one here before we get to the tweet.

Speaker 10 (01:52:57):
I think we can go toe to toe with anybody.
It says a lot of out this group and how
mentally strong they are, and how much they love one
another and appreciate one another and fight for one another.
You know, we're gonna continue battling. We're going to continue
to try to find a way to write our story
for this year. And obviously winning this game going in
the BIE week is nice, but we had a big
win last year too. We've got to come out of

(01:53:17):
the bi week with even more more intent and more
of that mindset and continue to find ways to get
better so we can finish stronger.

Speaker 7 (01:53:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:53:24):
I don't know if we're buying more the Jets or not,
but they've got a good defense man here.

Speaker 2 (01:53:28):
Great win, good great win. That saved their season. So yeah,
i'd be happy too if I was.

Speaker 1 (01:53:32):
Let's get a couple of quick text in here before
we get your picks, Julian Rights. After week six, I
know this it is over over for the incompetent New
York Giants.

Speaker 2 (01:53:44):
Yes, it is one in five. They're not gonna do anything.
They're not going to go to the playoffs. They are
hamstring with a quarterback that they gave a gazillion dollars for.
They'll probably have to move on after this year. From
Saquon Barkley, it's it's not a pretty for what's going
on with the Giants right now.

Speaker 1 (01:54:01):
Bakes got a double shot. After week six, we know
there is no more Patriot Way. And after week six,
we know Jimmy G is consistent, Yeah, consistently hurt. Yeah,
that's what Jimmy G is consistent at.

Speaker 2 (01:54:14):
Yeah, And there is no more Patriot way. He's absolutely
right about that. Nobody's clamoring to go to the Patriots.
That's where you go to die now, and that's uh,
that's that's what they are. A one in five team.
That's probably one of the worst two or three teams
in the NFL right now.

Speaker 1 (01:54:29):
Probably I watched they are. They're one of the worst
teams in the NFL period. All right, when we come
back the worst picks.

Speaker 3 (01:54:37):
Oh no, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (01:54:39):
Above five hundred is that good?

Speaker 1 (01:54:41):
Well, you know if your Dolphins, if your Dolphins were
three and three right now, would you be happy?

Speaker 2 (01:54:46):
No, I would not be out there.

Speaker 1 (01:54:47):
You go gotta be better. We'll see what we get
improved next right here from the tyrack dot com studios,
Arnie's picks here on Fox Sports Radio. Great job tonight, Loarana,
Great job Brandon Trufa with all the in info and
not dropping a bomb while your Buffalo Bill's held on
for a whin the Sagred crushing on updates all night long,

(01:55:08):
and of course to great the legend Big Ben Mallor
is coming up next. Big Thanks to all the editors
behind the scenes who bring us our progressive play of
the day. A two parter from the Jets and the Eagle.

Speaker 2 (01:55:20):
Galen Hurts in the shuck up all back to his right,
twin receivers to outer side, back to throw is Hurts
looks left, throws left. That's intercepted. Pick up running right.
Tony Adams is it's out. The twenty five breaks a
tackle down to the ten yard.

Speaker 1 (01:55:36):
Lird Hurst and Bull at the eighth prease haul the eyeback,
hand off Paul up the middle. They're gonna let him stalk.
How do he's end at the ends?

Speaker 4 (01:55:46):
Collect Jet touchdown, the Eagles, let the Jets score.

Speaker 1 (01:55:50):
And they want it twenty to fourteen. That is the
progressive play of the day. Progressive Insurance making buddling easily

You ready for your picks, Let's do it, Let's do it.
Take it away, give me a little music, put me

(01:56:13):
in the mood.

Speaker 2 (01:56:14):
And I do want people to understand this when I
give you my you know, record against the spread. These
are only the big games. Top twenty five games very
rarely do I go outside the top twenty five games,
because people want to know where you stand on the
big games in the people want winners.

Speaker 1 (01:56:31):
They don't care where you stand on the big games.
They want winners. I want winners.

Speaker 2 (01:56:35):
In college. I went six and six. I'm now thirty
five and twenty eight. That's fifty five point five percent.
In the NFL, I went six and four. I am
now fifty six point three percent. So we're we're up there.
We're making a little bit of money. Let's get the
college football. I'm gonna take Penn State plus to four
and a half against Ohio State. Too many points there.
I think Penn State actually wins that game. Give me

(01:56:58):
Washington State plus twice against Oregon way way too many
points in that one. I'm gonna take Tennessee plus the
nine and a half on the road against Alababa. Give
me Duke plus the fourteen against Florida State. I think
USC bounces back. I'll lay the five against U Top
and Stanford after that victory against Colorado, how do I
go against him? Give me Stanford plus the sixteen and

(01:57:20):
a half against UCLA. Over to the NFL, I'll take
Tampa I'll lay the two and a half against Atlanta.
Give me the Ravens minus two and a half against Detroit, though,
I gotta figure everybody's gonna be on the Lions side
on this one. I'm gonna take Seattle minus the eight
against the Cardinals. Give me Denver plus the one and
a half against Green Bay. I think Denver against her

(01:57:41):
second win. I'll take Miami plus the two and a
half against Philadelphia. You know my Dolphins gonna win straight up.
I don't even want the points. And give me Minnesota
plus the seven against San Francisco. In my knockout pool,
I think I'm gonna take. I can't take Seattle minus
eight against the Cardinals. I already took them.

Speaker 1 (01:58:02):
Do you know the rules?

Speaker 2 (01:58:04):
Yeah, he can only take one team per per week.

Speaker 1 (01:58:07):
So well, I mean you can only take one team once, right,
once right. I don't know who I'm gonna take. Now,
I'm in trouble. You don't know who you're gonna take yet.

Speaker 2 (01:58:19):
I don't know what we're gonna take what. I got
a whole.

Speaker 1 (01:58:20):
Week to think about it.

Speaker 2 (01:58:22):
I mean, come on, yeah, So there you have my picks,
two of them, as you please. No longer strictly for
the table purposes only. I can't take Kansas City, Dallas, Seattle,
San Francisco, and Miami. Those I've used, I used them
up already.

Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
There is a new favorite for the Heisman Trophy, Arnie Spaniard,
Did you see this? The new Heisman Trophy favorite that's
out there.

Speaker 2 (01:58:41):
I know that Williams went to fifty to one and
it's thirty three to one, thirty three to one. Do
you think he would drop to fifty to one on
that one bad game? Yeah, that's when somebody. That's when
somebody said, us, uh, there's Junior, right is he?

Speaker 1 (01:58:57):
Uh? Two three plus one fifty right now?

Speaker 2 (01:58:59):
Now? Wow?

Speaker 1 (01:59:01):
The number two pick is a tie. Now this is
according to Sports Betting Dot AG. So you can probably
find another number somewhere, but the number two pick right
now is Dylan Gabriel, Oklahoma quarterback at nine to one,
with the exact same number as JJ McCarthy, the Michigan
quarterback who's at nine to one as well. Next two choices,

(01:59:24):
Jane Daniels LSU had a great game this week and
against Auburn fourteen to one. Same for Jordan Travis at
fourteen to one. There's Drake May at eighteen to one
and thirty three to one for Bonix and Caleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (01:59:37):
Wow, he really dropped. He was he the favorite before
the Notre Dame game.

Speaker 1 (01:59:41):
Correct? Yeow, And I'm sorry he had dipped after your
Arizona Wildcats. Okay, yeah, he had fallen in too, like
the third choice after that.

Speaker 2 (01:59:49):
He didn't play defense though, But yeah, he didn't throw
for it. He didn't put up big numbers. Arizona's does
a great job against top tier quarterbacks they have.

Speaker 1 (01:59:55):
I'm not gonna lie with you. I'm not going to
argue with you on that one. The new favorite to
win the college football Playoff the overall national champion. It
shifted this week. It's now Michigan. Michigan is the number
one pick to win the college football title. And I'll
give you a pick for this weekend. Yeah, I'm gonna
throw one here. I think that's easy money. Arnie Eagles

(02:00:18):
minus two money in the bank taking home against soft
Dolphins team on the road in Philly. Come on now,
all right, hey, Alrety, have a great week, buddy, great stuff.
As always, the legend Big Ben Mallor is coming up
next for the entire Crew for Brandon, for Arnie, I'm
playing have a great week on Fox Sports Radio
