Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
You know, just because you don't like something doesn't mean
it's not at least a little bit entertaining. And we
have got that on fuld display in the world of football.
We'll explain what that is coming up here in just
a couple of moments from now. Jonas Knox, Fox Sports Radio.
You can listen to this show on the iHeartRadio app.
You know, you can find us on hundreds of affiliates
all across the country and wherever the hell you are

(00:25):
making us a part of your Saturday morning into the afternoon.
We appreciate you doing so. We're going to take you
all the way up until four pm Eastern time, one
o'clock Pacific, and we do so live from the tire
rack dot Com studios. Tire rack dot com. We'll help
you get there an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free
road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire

(00:46):
rac dot com the way tire buying should be. So.
The Michigan Wolverines have a seventeen to nine lead now
after converting on a field goal. There's three and a
half minutes left to go in the third quarter, and
if you've watched any of this game, and Martin Weiss
is going to fill us in at the top and
bottom of the hour throughout the course of the show
as to these scores and developments of this game. If

(01:08):
you've watched any of this game, it's very clear Michigan's
a better football team. It's very obvious. All right, Drew
Roller just turned the ball over a short time ago.
JJ McCarthy's playing well. They probably would have obviously would
have liked to touch down there, but they settled for
the field goal. It's a one possession game. Feels like
a little bit more than that right now, That's what

(01:28):
it feels like. So seventeen to nine, Michigan has a lead.
They're in state college and look, Jim Harbas not on
the sidelines. They tried to do the temporary restraining order
route to try and get a judge to you know,
buy him a little bit of time so that he
could be there. Apparently he's a few miles away within
like I don't know, like a ten minute drive to

(01:49):
the stadium, but he can't actually be at the stadium.
So on and so forth, and you know how I
feel about this. I think everybody in the Big Ten
that complained and cried to Tony Pettiti and basically backed
him into a corner to do something, the brand new
commissioner to do something. I think everybody involved with backing
the new commissioner into a corner and making him suspend

(02:11):
Jim Harbad these three remaining games, I think you're all clowns.
It's like a bozo fest. I think everybody in there
walked in with a rubber nose on, giant red shoes
and a big curly wig and just said, you've got
to do something. This is unfair, even though we've got
evidence and screenshots and everything else, and other teams were

(02:32):
stealing their signals and all the other things that came
along with it. But don't worry, everybody, make sure you
get this done immediately. It's got to be done immediately.
So it's a great message to be sent by the
Big Ten and by Tony Petiti the Commissioner, because what
he's telling you is that if you and somebody else
are speeding, if you're both speeding, you should call the cops.

(02:54):
If they have a nicer car, if you're both committing
a crime, call the cops. If they're just looking a
little bit better at doing the crime than you are.
That's basically what we said. So you know my stance
on that. I've been saying this for several weeks now.
I think it's a clown show. I think everybody involved
ought to be ashamed of themselves at the fact that
Jim Harbaugh is now suspended for three games. There's a

(03:15):
giant circus tent. There's another circus tent over to the right.
It's called the NBA play In Tournament. That's also over
to the right. So if you're into the circus, if
you like to see people right around on unicycles and
juggle bowling pins, if you want to see somebody pretend
to eat fire and everybody walk around with like gotten
giant goofy outfits and all that, don't worry. You can

(03:37):
see two of those right now. One is the Big
Ten and the people that bitched about Michigan and potentially
sign stealing, And the other is the NBA Playing Tournament,
which nobody cares about except for the NBA trying to
force it down your throat. So there's that. But I
will say this, it is great theater. This Jim Harbaugh
stuff was great theater. To watch. I mean, you had

(04:00):
people doing emergency podcast, you had people coverage live from
State College. Will Jim Harbaugh be there or not? You
had Michigan players take to social media and all tweet
the same thing, bet bet, which looks that's kind of
a tricky thing to do. I mean, you won't I'll
put it this way. You wouldn't see them do that

(04:23):
in preparation for an Iowa or Iowa State game because
those players would take it literally. Okay, So you gotta
be careful when you throw the word bet out around
these days because there's a lot of people who take
that to the literal sense and next thing you know,
they're on DraftKings trying to you know, place a couple
of parlays and things like that. So that's a dangerous move.
But it has been entertaining as hell to watch. I

(04:46):
think it's embarrassing. I think it's a joke. I can't
I can't believe they rushed this fast to try and
get this done. But just to see the way this
whole thing played out is entertaining as Hell's look, you
may not like certain things on television, like there's awful shows,
like some of these reality shows that are on television.

(05:08):
They're awful, but they're entertaining. I mean the plot, the premise,
the acting that the staged events, all that stuff, they're entertaining.
I'll say this right now. You may not like the
band Ramstein. I happen to like them, but you may
not like them. And I remember seeing Ramstein in concert
years ago, and I was with some people that weren't

(05:30):
big Ramstein fans, and you know, the big takeaway when
they walked away from that whole thing, they said, you
know what, I don't know what the hell those guys
are saying. But that was the most entertaining portion of
the entire concert because you had a bunch of other
bands afterwards that were getting all the shine. And next
thing you know, Ramstein walks out on stage, fires a
bone arrow across the stage and lights the other half
on fire. It was incredible to watch. It was glorious theater.

(05:54):
I mean, the whole thing was great, but there was
a lot of people just didn't like the music. They
didn't know what the hell was going on. I don't
like that Jim Harbaugh is suspended for the final three games.
I don't like that he's not on the sidelines for
Michigan against Penn State. But it is tremendous theater. You
can't deny that. And to see the way this whole
thing broke down and played out in front of our

(06:15):
very eyes and ears over the last twenty four hours
has been fascinating, and it does feel like even without
Jim Harbaugh, these players have taken it personally. And these
players are putting on a good performance on the road
against a really good team, which is why the betting
odds didn't really move. If anything, they moved in the
other direction, making Michigan more of a favorite before kickoff

(06:37):
there in State College. Jonasnox here Fox Sports Radio. All right,
let's talk about another coach, because there's another coach who
does feel like he finds himself and maybe a similar
spot that Jim Harbaugh finds himself, and that's Bill Belichick.
And I would never thought I would say this. I
would never thought that I'd be having this conversation. But
there's a real chance that Bill Belichick is going to

(07:00):
lose his job as head coach of the New England Patriots,
and he's going to do so in Germany. Speaking of Ramstein,
because that's where the Patriots are playing the Colts, and
if you believe any of the rumors that are out there,
if you believe any of the mumbo jumbo out there,
there are people that are really pushing this thought and
this idea and this potential that Bill Belichick is going

(07:22):
to lose his job if they lose to the Colts
tomorrow in Germany. Are you insane? Do you really look?
I don't know what Robert Craft and Bill Belichick's relationship is, Like,
I have no idea. I don't know if Robert Craft
is upset about the flate Gate, and Belichick's like, yeah, well,
if you're upset about the flake Gate, I'm upset about

(07:44):
you hanging out at Orchards of Asia. I'm upset about
that too. And then Robert Craft's like, oh, yeah, what
about that door that door camera that caught you doing
the Walk of shame in Nantucket during the off season shirtless.
If you haven't seen that video, you can look it up.
Apparently Bill Belichie doing a walk of shame stumbling outside
somebody's door in Nantucket during the off season. The guy

(08:05):
had no shirt on. Looks just like Bill Belichick. If
it's not Bill Belichick that guy. We know what he
goes for for Halloween every year, but I don't know
what their dynamic is like. I find it hard to
believe that with all the success that they've had, and
with Bill Belichick doing all the things that he's done
in New England, that Robert Kraft would actually fire him

(08:27):
after they lose to the Colts in Frankfort. None of
it makes sense. Yet That's what a lot of people
are running with, and a lot of people are pushing it.
And we know why people are pushing this one. It's
a sensational story. It's a big time story. He's the
greatest of all time. So people look at that and
they go, well, you know this will be true. This

(08:49):
would be great for us, This would be great for
our business, This would be great to talk about. We
could sit here and we could wax poetically about the
time Bill Belichick spent in New England and now it
all came to a crashing halt in Frankfurt after a
blowout loss to the Colts. I get why we're doing that.
We're also doing it because people want them out, because
they were tired of getting bullied and tired of getting

(09:10):
stepped on. For two decades. It's the truth. It's why
people were laughing at Tom Brady and Belichick when they
lost to the Titans in tom Brady's final game there.
It's the truth. They dormatted a lot of people for
a long time in the NFL, and a lot of
fan bases and a lot of people in the media
wanted their revenge, and this is another layer to the
opportunity they'll have to get that revenge. So all of

(09:31):
that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that Robert
Kraft would sit here after all that, with all the
bad blood these two organizations have, the Colts the Patriots.
You think Robert Kraft would let the Colts have the
final say on the era that was Craft, Belichick and Brady.

(09:52):
You think that would they would have given them the
final say, Like you don't think robber Craft hasn't thought about, Hey,
if we got to end this whole thing, we've got
to end it this certain way. And it's not going
to be against the Indianapolis Colts who ratted us out
and complained and cried about Deflategate and then Josh McDaniels
burned them in a head coaching search a few years ago.

(10:14):
It's not going down that way. So for everybody out
there pushing this that Belichick's gone, it could be the Colts.
You know, He's even asked about that during the week
by the media. Do you feel like your job's on
the line or you're coaching for your job this week?
Are you serious? Like, what's Robert Kraft going to do?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Bill, thanks for twenty plus years and seven super bowls
or six super bowls, whatever it is, And thanks for
everything you've done for the organization, and you put us
on the map and you've made me a fortune. Here,
here's some soft pretzels and a thirty six ound steinnglass.
Have fun, buddy. I mean, if you want to, you
want to take my PG on the way back, do
what you gotta do. But you know, this just isn't

(10:52):
working out anymore. It doesn't make sense, It doesn't add up.
Belichick's not getting fired tomorrow, despite what happens. He's at
least going to be given the opportunity to finish out
the year as head coach of the Patriots. And I
got news for you. If Belichick is fired tomorrow and
I'm wrong, we will go back in time and we
will take all of this out of the podcast, because

(11:13):
if you haven't heard, we got a new system we're
working on and everything's really easy to operate behind the scenes.
Right now, Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio, get me on

(11:34):
to have our thank God for gambling game of the
Week we probably shouldn't based on what happened last week.
We'll explain how that all went down. And we are
going to have the week ten edition of Knox Locks.

bust some balls, and have some fun with you here
on a Saturday, in a crisp Saturday around the country
for people watching college football here, people watching football in

(11:58):
general here in November. Coming up next, though, there is
a thing that is taking place between two quarterbacks in
the NFL. You may not have realized this, but we've
seen this before and it did not end well. I'll
tell you what it is. And it's yours right here
on FSR.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio coming up in about we'll
call it a little over ten minutes from now here
from the tire Rack dot Com studios, we are going
to hand out an award here on the show, and
based on what happened last week, we probably should should
not be allowed to hand out an award. It's like
Will Smith not being allowed at the Oscars. We should
not be allowed to hand out this award after what
happened last week. I'll just put it that way. We

(13:29):
are really screwed up, but we're going to be accountable
for We're going to own up to that. So that'll
be taking place here a little over ten minutes from
now here on Fox Sports Radio, before we get to
this thing in the NFL that's happening right now that
we've got to slow down on. I do want to
mention this if you're following along via social media or
you're seeing what's happening in State College. First of all,
Michigan's got a seventeen to nine lead over Penn State.

(13:52):
They just started the fourth quarter. Michigan's got a third
and six, and they are deep in their own territory
inside the ten yard line and trying to continue to
move the chains and try and continue to hold onto
this lead there in State College. So we will of
course keep you updated on all of this throughout the
course of the show. It looks like we just had

(14:12):
ourselves a delayed game as well too, unless Michigan got
a time out. But nonetheless, it is a low scoring affair.
And if you were one of those people who are
looking at you know, over under prop bets on the
starting quarterbacks and they're passing yards thus far, I mean, listen,
nothing wrong with sixty yards through the air for JJ

(14:32):
McCarthy and fifty one for Drew Aller. You know, this
is a Big ten football. This is what you grew
up on, and that's what we're getting at State college.
But what is interesting is that people are criticizing James
Franklin for punting the ball a few moments ago. So
Penn State can't really get a whole lot going. They've
got the football at around midfield, they've got a fourth

(14:55):
and two, and they elect to punt the ball, and
you're thinking, what you you doing? Like you gotta win
this game? What dude, it's still a one possession game.
Like I realized that people have lost the ability to
do simple math in this situation, and everybody wants to
bury simple arithmetic with analytics and percentages and all that stuff.

(15:20):
But last night checked, seventeen minus nine is eight and
last night checked. If you score a touchdown and you
go for two, that's eight. So that's a one possession game.
So I don't know what the percentages are telling people here,
but I have no problem with James Franklin punting the
ball in that situation and pinning Michigan deep. And guess what,

(15:42):
Michigan's got a third and six and they're inside their
own ten and you're hopeful that the defense can come
up with a stop. But it feels like everybody wants
to call out coaches now who don't get aggressive. It's
not Madden. It's not like James Franklin can just go
forward on every fourth down that comes up, and if
he doesn't like the result, he'll just hit the reset

(16:04):
button on his PlayStation and start the game over again.
It's not how this works. But everybody wants to bury
these get all by go why didn't you go forth
there on fourth?

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
It's a one possession game. We got an entire quarter
to play. Guess what happens if you go forth there
and you get stopped. Now, Michigan's got the ball midfield
and all they got to do is go a short
distance and they kick a field goal, and now you
got a two possession game. So if you're one of
those people criticizing James Franklin, I get it. We see
a lot of aggressive coaches around the NFL and in

(16:37):
college football. This, in this spot, in this situation, in
this game, I got no problem with him punting the
football away. And now we wait to see what Michigan
does with a critical third and six inside their own
ten backed up on the road, up seventeen to nine.
Jonas Knox here, Fox Sports Radio. By the way, we
are brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes bundling

(16:58):
easy and affordable, getting multi policy discount by combining your motorcycle, RV, boat,
ATV and more all your protection in one place. Bundle

you a hypothetical, all right, and I want you to
just be honest about this, right hypothetical. You're driving around
right now, you're hanging out, you're having a cocktail, you're

(17:19):
watching games, you're you're at work, you know, you're you're
working a kitchen, you were just whatever you're doing right now.
I'm gonna ask you this hypothetical. I want you to
answer it for me if you could. If you had
to win a game right now, like you had to
win a game in the NFL, you got to pick
one quarterback, right You got to pick one guy. You

(17:41):
have two options. You can either have Carson Wentz or
Jared Goff. Who you picking? Now? If you said Carson Wentz,
I'd recommend mixing some water with the booze. Sober up
a little bit. You listen to this podcast later on

(18:02):
and then answer the question again, because one hundred percent
of you would say Jared Goff. Carson Wentz. You just
got back into the league. He's backing up Matt Stafford
in LA. So when you're asked that question, hey, who
you picking as your starting quarterback? Right now? You're taking
Jared Goff over Carson Wentz. But if I asked that

(18:25):
question back in twenty sixteen, like around seven, eight weeks
into the season, nine weeks into the season, who knows,
maybe even ten weeks into the season, you know what
you would have said, Oh my god, Carson Wentz, are
you kidding me? Man? Did the Rams screw up? Oh my?
The Rams took Jared Goff and Carson Wentz is a
franchise quarterback. They had a franchise quarterback, stare at him,

(18:47):
squaring the eyes, and instead they took Jared Goff. Oh Mike,
he didn't even dress for the first game of the
season in La Jeff Fisher doesn't even want him. Yet
here we are, all these years later, and it's amazing
how the roles have reversed. And I'm listening to the

(19:09):
commentary that people are having about Bryce Young and c J.
Stroud and it sounds so familiar. Oh Man, did the
Carolina Panthers screw that one up? Look at c J.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Stroud.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
He's lighting the league on fire, and he is. He's
been fantastic. In fact, it's hard to find many quarterbacks
in the NFL who have had better years in general,
not just rookies, quarterbacks in the league in general who
have had better years than c J. Stroud. But can
we slow down a little bit on the wrong pick buyers,

(19:43):
remorse narratives that are being thrown out there like people,
you know, wanting to position CJ. Strouds man, oh Man,
the Panther screw up is the is the Houston Texans gain?
Look at what Bryce Young's doing on Thursday Night football. CJ.
Strouds do it every week. One's a future All Pro

(20:05):
and the other guy he might be a bust. Dude.
We've been down this road before. We were just there
in twenty sixteen. Then if you want to be one
of those people who were saying after the fact, no, no, no, listen,
I was taking a wait and see approach. No you weren't.
Everybody thought the Rams screwed up with that Jared goff pick.
Everybody thought that Carson Wentz was the better quarterback. I

(20:29):
can remember when there was a report that came out
that the Cleveland Browns reportedly allegedly didn't have a first
verse round grade on Carson Wentz. I could remember people
at the time saying, well that right there, I ought
to show you the difference between those two organizations, the
Eagles and the Browns, because look at what a screw
up that was. Carson Wentz has been on like fourteen

(20:50):
different teams in the last hour and a half. And
what's Shared goff doing, you know, resurrecting a franchise after
he was booted out of town. Yeah, no big deal. Yeah,
you know, he's just working on, you know, another contract
extension with the Detroit Lions, because you know, they kind
of like him because he kind of helped benefit the

(21:10):
organization and you know, kind of made them a legitimate
contender in the NFC. And Carson Wentz just got signed
as a backup. And that's not to say Carson Wentz
hasn't done great things in his career. But we got
to slow down, man, everybody's got to calm down and relax.
We're not even at Thanksgiving and we've got CJ. Stroud

(21:33):
putting on a gold jacket and Bryce Young waiting tables
at a waffle house. Relax, it's gonna take time. Man.
You know who the Carolina Panthers could really use right now,
Christian McCaffrey and you know DJ Moore, A couple that
could really use those guys right now. They don't have them.

(21:55):
That was part of the deal. And it's gonna take
a little bit. And I'm not saying and Bryce Young
is going to be this home run pick and he's
going to turn into Jared Goffred. It's just let's calm
down a little bit. Like now, people are writing all
these articles about c J. Stroud proven the doubters wrong,
and I feel like, oh man, all those people that
were saying bad things about him in the draft and
blah blah, you know, before the draft process, and now

(22:18):
we're writing all these like long form articles on the
journey of it. Said, dude, calm down, this stuff takes time.
Remember Alex Smith. How many head coaches are offensive coordinators?
Did Alex Smith have to go through before Jim Harbaugh
got there in San Francisco and said, you know what,
this guy's actually pretty good. We're gonna go ahea and

(22:39):
roll with him. What do we like? You know, before
Andy Reid got hi would say, do you know what,
he's actually pretty good? You know, the Chiefs have been
terrible for several years. Why don't we just take Alex Smith?
No problem playing at a Pro Bowl level. But everyone
wants to jump the gun. Oh no, listen, this is
how it's gonna be. I'm just telling you this. We've

(22:59):
seen how this stuff plays out before, we saw it
in twenty sixteen, and it's very possible this whole thing
could play out just like that. If these two guys,
if listen, if Carolina can just figure it out, if
they could add some pieces around him, then I'd like
to have the conversation again, because right now Bryshung doesn't
have a whole hell of a lot to work with.

(23:19):
He struggled. Yes, some of that's on him, but dude,
compare the Panthers to the Texans right now. Not even close.
Jonas Knox, Fox Sports Radio. Get me on Twitter at
the Jonas Knox, at the Jonas Knox on Twitter or
X whatever. Listen, by the way, all you candy asses
out there who want to like, get on me because
oh you're calling it Twitter and not X. Still, what

(23:40):
do you want call it? X? Like? Call it. I'm
just gonna call it just a letter, just gonna call
it a like. No, man, it's called Twitter. That's what
it's called. And I know you don't like it, then
I know you may not be. It's not the proper
thing to do, but there's a lot of improper things
that we say all the time. I don't criticize you,

(24:01):
so screw you if you criticize me. But if you
want to get a hold of me on X, it's
at the Jonas Knox at the Jonas Knox. We are
going to hand out an award. We should not be
allowed to hand out this award, but we're gonna do
it anyways. We're gonna be defiant. That's coming up next
here on FSR for all the latest still from around
the world of sports. He's always nice, He's Martin wise.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
You know what, Donas, I gotta say on your thing
about X. I'm gonna be mean real quick because I agree.
You know what, they still have records. You know what
a record is? A vinyl record? Do you still call
a new song a record? You still call it a
single because you used to come on a single record.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
So no, listen, Hey, I'm with you, Hey, and Martin.
I'm not trying to get into your recent car history
because we all know how that played out, all the stories.
But I'm just telling you this right now. The car
I drive still got a CD player, and I got
one of those big old CD holder cases in the back,
and I don't know the last time I've opened it,
but it's still in there. So I'm not going to

(24:55):
forget about the past just because people want to change
things in a hurry.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
So I'm with you.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
We're losing rest piece too fast in this country, Jonas,
we got it. We got to stand on something, and
I think we both found something worth standing on. All
right to the Business College Football Saturday scores in the
top twenty five. Number three Michigan leads Number ten Penn
State seventeen to nine. That one just about twelve minutes
left in the fourth quarter. There, you can catch that
one the same way that Jim Harbaugh is on Fox TV.

(25:21):
Number eight Alabama leeds Kentucky thirty four. I'm sorry, yeah,
thirty four to fourteen midway through the third quarter. Number
sixteen Kansas trailing Texas Tech thirteen to seven late in

talking about, the Houston Texas. The TJ Strout Jamar Chase

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Jonas back to you, my friend.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Thanks Martin. It is Jonas Knox here on Fox Sports Radio,
by the way, coming up fifteen minutes from now from
the ti raq dot com studios. If you want some
upbeat positivity on a Saturday morning slash afternoon in the
world of sports talk radio, there's no better place to
find it than in another edition of Do You Care,
where basically we're going to give you our thoughts on
some big storylines that made their way around the sports

(26:46):
world and then just kind of tell you the truth
about all of them and just be brutally honest and
piss off a lot of people. But that's fine, and
it's yours. Fifteen minutes from Now, last week on the show,
we handed out our TGFG Game of the Week. Now,
for those of you wondering what the TGFG Game of
the Week is, it's the thank God for Gambling Game
of the Week. And there's one of those a week

(27:07):
in the NFL. And it's kind of inspired by one
of the legendary sports talk radio hosts in my mind
on the Mount Rushmore of sports talk radio host Tony Bruno, Right,
one of the all time greats. Tony Bruno used to
do this thing where he would find the non HD
game of the week, and there was always one game

(27:30):
back in the day in the NFL that was in
standard death. It was really weird. It's almost like if
you were watching like an entire slate of Sunday games
in the early window, they'd all be in HD, they'd
all be in high Deaf except for one, and nobody
could figure it out. I still to this day don't
have no idea why. And if your team got the

(27:51):
standard deaf treatment, if it got the SD treatment, that
meant that, man, either those two teams both stunk or
there was just no real interest in the game in general.
They just kind of like bland teams. Well, I mean,
nowadays everything's HD, it's streaming, it's four K, blah blah blah,
all that other stuff. So that's gone. But I thought,
you know what, what about a TGFG game of the week.

(28:14):
You know that thank God for gambling game of the week,
which is the If not for gambling, there's no way
in hell you're watching this game. It's kind of like
our tribute to the great Tony Bruno and the standard
death game of the week. And so last week we
handed out one, and the one we handed out was
the what was that called? Oh yeah, that's right. It
was the Buccaneers at the Texans, better known as the

(28:37):
game of the Year in the NFL, literally the game
of the year. Like you can't find a better football
game on planet Earth than the Bucks and Texans. You can't,
literally the game of the year. And that was our
they got for gambling game of the week. That was
our This game is so not interesting if you you

(29:00):
weren't gambling on it, there's no way you're watching it.
Not only were people watching it, they were enthralled by it.
You had that going head to head double barrel with
the Josh Dobbs come back in Minnesota against the Atlanta Falcons.
Like you had that Josh Dobbs on the road in
that environment doing what he did, and you had that

(29:21):
right next to literally the game of the year in
the National Football League, and that game of the year
was our thank God for gambling game of the Week
because I just expected, now, this game's gonna suck, like
who cares, no real interest whatever, Bucks Texans, nobody cares.
But yeah, just the game of the year. So with
that being said, we probably shouldn't be allowed to do this.

(29:43):
Will Smith was banned by the oscars for like ten
years because he slapped Chris Rock because you know, Chris
Rock made a joke and Will Smith's kind of a
dorm at himself. But again, none of my business, not
my thing. Whatever, do what you gotta do. So with
that being said, it is time for our Week ten
edition of the tg FG Game of the Week, and

(30:04):
it belongs to Colt said Patriots. Oh you better believe it.
And it's not even Colts at Patriots, it's Colts versus Patriots.
And I know what you're thinking. I know what you're thinking, Well,
what do you mean this game's in Germany? Well, what
do you mean they're in Frankfurt. Who doesn't want to

(30:26):
watch an international game? It's six thirty am Pacific time
or four thirty am Hawaii or nine thirty in the morning.
Beck East, like, who doesn't want to watch this game?
We just saw a game in Germany last week. It
was the Dolphins of the Chiefs. So the follow up
the dessert on the on the dinner that was served

(30:48):
last week is Colts Patriots. Could you imagine that you
go to a nice restaurant. You go to a nice place.
I'm talking like a five star steakhouse. You get yourself
of a ribi. Now you got to have it bone
in because they taste better. The marbling is just all
filled through the top. You have it's sizzling on the plate.

(31:11):
You get a side like lobster mash or garlic mash,
maybe some greens on the side. You've got a shrimp
cocktail tower that they bring out and it's steaming from
the bottom. And then you ask them what's for dessert,
and they go, oh, well, what would you like? I mean,
we've got anything from razor blades to the inside of
a baby's diaper. You take your pick. That's what we've

(31:32):
done to Germany.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
All right.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
So as much as I didn't like the fact that
they got Chiefs Dolphins last week, the fact that they're
getting Colt Patriots this week ought to tell you that
there was no other solution than for us to hand
out this award. And it's our TGFG Game of the Week,
our thank God for Gambling Game of the Week, because
if you weren't gambling on this game, not a shot
in hell. You're watching Jonas Knox here Fox Sports Radio,

(31:57):
at the Jonas Knocks on Twitter, at the own A
Knocks on Twitter, and you can hang out with us
as always on the iHeartRadio app. All right, it's coming
up next here from the tire rack dot Com Studios.
We are going to have ourselves another edition of Do
You Care Do Not Stick Around? It is a Saturday
tradition like no other, and it's yours here on FSR
Jonas Knocks Fox Sports Radio. This is the Marilyn Manson

(32:19):
cover of this. Chris, is that right?

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Yep?

Speaker 7 (32:21):
It's the depeche Mode's the original, But yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Maryland, I love depeche Mode.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
I do too.

Speaker 7 (32:27):
Violator is one of those like all time albums.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Dude, I have a Violator. The album cover t shirt,
and it's so awesome.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
A fantastic cover too.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
My wife said to me one time, She's like, why
are you wearing a shirt that has a giant rose
on it? It was like, the album's great. She goes, yeah,
but it's it's an obnoxious shirt. It's just got a
giant It's the exact cover of Violator, the album.

Speaker 7 (32:48):
At least she's asking about the rose and not the
word violator on it.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Yeah, listen, you know, we don't need it. We're splitting
hairs here. You know, if we would go with the
complaints down that road, you know, it's just at that
point we'll just you know, focus on the on the
good stuff. But man, great album, fun band. I think
they're actually they're going to be in in the area
coming up next month. I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 7 (33:07):
I'm going to have to find tickets then, Thank you
well for putting none on my radar.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, that's a right. If you got a couple grand
set aside, you could probably sit in nose bleeds the
way ticket prices are these days.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
It is so coming up here top of next hour.
We'll call it a little over twelve minutes from now.
From the tire rack dot Com Studios. There's there's something
that actually, if you the more you think about it,
it's the most consistent thing in all of sports. It's
the most consistent thing in all of sports. It's amazing.
I'll tell you what that is again. Coming up a
little over twelve minutes from now on FSR, quick update

(33:40):
from the game of the day in college football, which
is Michigan and Penn State. Michigan with a seventeen to
nine lead over the Nitney Lions. They are in the
fourth quarter there in State College. Penn State just punted
the ball away to Michigan and now the Wolverines have
it with seven minutes left to go in that game.
We will keep you updated on that one throughout the
course of this show. Right now, though, it is time

(34:01):
for this.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
There are so many stories in the world of sports,
and most of them are a complete waste of time
DMZ reports. Let's get kinky. Here's some of the big
stories from the last week. But Jonas, the real question
is do you care?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
And for that we turn it over to our executive
producer Bo Benson to find out what the hell people
have been talking about. Bo.

Speaker 8 (34:23):
All right, so the Arizona Cardinals are going to start
Kyler Murray tomorrow for his first start in eleven months,
coming back from a torn acl Jonas, Do you care
about this at all?

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I do, because I'm fascinated to see what Kyler Murray
looks like, not even just from a player from a
playing standpoint. Look, he's not going to be back to
who he was, you know, right away. I mean, this
takes a little bit of time of his mobility, So
it's going to take him a little bit of time
to get back to the player he was, which was
one of the most exciting players in the NFL. That
scramble he had against the Raiders last year at the

(34:57):
end of that game is one of the most amazing
quarterback scrambles you'll see. But I actually wonder if this
benefits him, you know, because there was talk that, well,
the guy likes to play video games instead of football,
He doesn't want to watch film, this and that, Like,
maybe he took it all for granted. I wonder if
he's got a new sense of appreciation for the gig.
Maybe he saw almost his his own athletic mortality staring

(35:19):
him in the eyes, and now he appreciates the opportunity more.
That's why I want to see how this plays out
for the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray next Yeah.

Speaker 8 (35:26):
Real quick if he struggles tomorrow. Call of Duty just
came out yesterday, so that's gonna be as a reason.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
But why do you got to take shots?

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Hey?

Speaker 8 (35:33):
Ye know, I'm just saying that's gonna be the that's
gonna be on the broadcast. Do you walk it?

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Do you think he's envious that Justin Herbert gets to
wear the Nintendo Power glove and not him during games?
He might come out with one tomorrow. I mean, have
it that reference from nineteen ninety two, that's fun nobody
can relate to.

Speaker 8 (35:52):
The Bengals have already ruled out wide receiver T Higgins
and appears that Jamar Chase is going to be a
game time decision tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Do you care? But yeah, I do, because I'm trying
to figure out why the Bengals are still such a
giant favorite. I mean, you know, the Texans do have
a quarterback. It's kind of, you know, kind of making
me rethink about what could have been one of my
picks for Knox locks and now I've got to second
guess myself as we head into that later on an
hour two. But nonetheless, the Bengals the Texans should be
a fun game, and like you have faith in Cincinnati,

(36:23):
Joe Burrow figured that thing out.

Speaker 8 (36:24):
Next, the Angels, they hired a veteran manager to lead
their team next year, going with Ron Washington. I believe
his last managerial stop was the Texas Rangers. Jonas, do
you care about this at all? No, I don't listen.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
KI, Like I thought it was Joe Madden's fault. I
thought it was his fault that there was struggling. Oh,
I guess not. I guess there's other things going on there.
And by the way, if you've read any about Ron
Washington's history off the field, you know he likes to
he's he's a big fan of smelling things. We'll put
it that way. There probably are some places in and

(36:59):
around Orange County that he would like. I'm just saying,
just throwing it out there. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (37:04):
Next, Aaron Rodgers, he had to go on the Pat
McAfee show and explain that the glass object he dropped
on the field in the Jets last game, it was
not his bong. It was a bottle of tequila that
he had been given as a gift. Jonas, do you
care about this one at all?

Speaker 2 (37:20):
No? Why does anybody care about it? Like I've to look.
I remember remember, I think we talked about it when
people were criticizing Pat McAfee was almost like, ooh gotcha
because you found out he paid Aaron Rodgers like a
million dollars a year to appear on his show. It's like,
oh got him, Like a we knew you guys aren't
really that close of friends. You just you don't think
that's been worth every penny thus far. He's probably underpaid

(37:43):
if we think about it, because all people do is
want to watch and see what Aaron Rodgers has got
going on. I don't care. Listen, I don't care if
it was tequila, a flower vase, a bong, or a bildo.
It's not my business. Whatever is in his box is
in his box, and he can do whatever the hell

(38:04):
he wants.

Speaker 8 (38:05):
Next, Giants rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito story came out this
morning that he is still living at home with his
parents as he prepares to make his first NFL start.
I believe he was quoted as saying it's great because
his mom still does his laundry and cooks some dinner.
So he's gonna be taking on the Cowboys, I believe tomorrow.
So Jonas, do you care about this at all?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Yeah, it's wonderful. Finally a quarterback that's relatable to us
everyday folk here. You know, it's awesome. And listen, I'm
not going to sit here and criticize anybody for, you know,
living with their parents or hanging out with their parents.
I lived with my parents for a long time, and
I'll be honest with you, she's not around. Wish I
still did. Gonna be gonna be truthful with you. Wish

(38:45):
I still did. So and look when the pandemic started.
One of my favorite moments in the history of doing
shows with Brady Quinn is when he laid into some
guy on Twitter and said, you're just hanging out in
your mom's basement right now listening to the show while
I was doing the show for my mom's garage during
COVID Like that was one of my favorite moments of
irony in doing that Sunday night show with Brady Quinn.

(39:08):
So listen, Tommy Debato, Hey dude, you gotta do pal next.

Speaker 8 (39:12):
On Twitter, the account at dunk Central. It's like an
NBA aggregate. They tweeted out that teams are monitoring the
potential downfall of the Chicago Bulls purb Windhorse, ESPN. Jonahs,
do you care about this tweet at all?

Speaker 2 (39:26):
No, who cares about the Bulls? Like, if you were
to ask somebody right now who, like name three players
on the Bulls, they would say Michael Jordan, Horace Grant,
and bj Armstrong, Like nobody cares about the Bulls. He's serious, Like,
you don't know how bad the Bulls are. The Bears
are the worst team in the league and they get

(39:46):
more pub than the Bulls. So it's one of the
most consistent things in football. In fact, you know, screw it,
I'm gonna call it like it is. It is the
most consistent thing in football. We'll explain what that is
coming up here in just a couple of moments from now.
Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio. So you can listen to
this show as always on the iHeartRadio app. You can

(40:08):
your Saturday afternoon. We appreciate you doing so. We are
going to take you all the way up till the
end of the hour at nine A or excuse me,
and why am I saying nine am Eastern time? Listen,
that's just by habit. Okay, it's by habit because we're
doing the show during the week, five days a week,
so it's not nine am Eastern time. It might be.
I don't know what the time is right now at Istanbul.
It could be. Nonetheless, we're taking you all the way

(40:29):
up through the end of this hour. That's four pm
Eastern time, one o'clock Pacific. You know what the hell?
I meet at eleven o'clock in Hawaii. I think it's
noon and alast time. Who knows. Furthermore, who cares? And
we do it all live from the tire raq dot
com studios tire rack dot com. We'll help you get
there an unmatched election, fast free shipping, free road has
a protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack

(40:50):
dot com the way tire buying should be. So we
must address before we get into some other conversations here,
we must address what is currently happening in state college
right now. Good news for Penn State and Penn State
fans Drew Aller was not just picked off right, so

(41:13):
they reviewed it and it was ruled an incomplete pass.
So Drew Aller was not intercepted a few moments ago
by Michigan. So that is the good news. So Penn
State does have the football, and in fact, Penn State
has just picked up a first down on first and
ten and now they've got the ball at midfield with

(41:37):
under four minutes left to go. So that is the
good news for Penn State and Penn State fans. The
bad news is they're down twenty four to nine and
there's not a whole lot of time left, and the
offense hasn't really gotten anything going. And Drew Rowler's eight
of nineteen for fifty one yards and Michigan's flying around
the football and Blake korm just scored a touchdown, and

(41:58):
so it does feel like this is going to go
the way it normally goes, with the James Franklin against
Ohio State and Michigan and all the other stuff that
comes along with it. And now that whole conversation is
going to spark back up. We saw what happened against
Ohio State. People are going to question the offense. They're
going to question the play calling all of that. That
is what is going to come back around to James

(42:20):
Franklin again, and it's going to be another year of
having to hear that until they actually go out and
beat a Michigan or an Ohio State and one of
these teams and do big enough things in the conference.
Drew Aller was also nearly picked off just now throwing
the ball down the seam. So they're trying to make
a run at this. There's three minutes left, They've got
a second and ten Michigan has a twenty four to

(42:41):
nine lead. But we are honored right now. We normally
don't get a lot of guests on the show, right
because for some reason, people don't want anything to do
with us. I get it, Like I get it. You
know how many times I've asked Brady Quinn, like, hey man,
you guys aren't doing anything. You're at break you know,
once you come on, you know, tell Lioner and Rob
Stone to screw off and come on and play some
grabass here on the air. I ask him all the time.

(43:02):
You know what he says, who's this? So, like again,
we don't normally get a lot of guests on this show,
but we are pleased now to be joined by the
one and only Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the
Michigan Wolverines, and coach, we're just gonna get this started
off right away. Coach Harbaugh, your thoughts on the scene
there if you had to just from your vantage point

(43:24):
from where you're watching this game, since you're not allowed
on the sideline. Coach, your thoughts on what the scene
there in State College is like now that your Wolverines
are up twenty four to nine with under three minutes left.
Smells like some I mean, that's just that's ridiculous. Okay,
Like we're trying, we're trying to do an honest sports
talk radio show here and you got to play Johnny

(43:44):
Ringo jokes on the air. I mean that's unfortunate. Now,
in fairness, he's not wrong, I mean it does. The
air has left the building, Okay, like at Beaver Stadium
feels more like a more all right, I'll just put
it that way. We've talked about that before big time games,

(44:05):
you know, like that this does not seem like an
ideal situation. Now we've got a false start on Pennsate.
It has just not gone well for Penn State. Okay,
so Michigan's gonna win this game. They're gonna win this
game handily. They've got a twenty four to nine lead.
Penn State may score a garbage time touchdown here or
whatever you want to call it, and you know, maybe
make this thing a little bit closer. Anybody watching this

(44:25):
game right now, this is exactly why Michigan has been
talked about as one of the better teams in college football.
This will also go down if we're gonna play this
game and be fair about it, okay, because we've got
to be fair. We're all about fairness. You know, even
though suspending Jim Harbaugh for the final three games of

(44:46):
the season, which is kind of unprecedented. You know that
you nort really don't do that. You wait to gather
all the facts, but there was this big rush to
do it. Right, so if that's considered fair, let's at
least be fair about this. Is it fair to say
that Michigan probably doesn't have Penn State signs? I mean,
since Connor Stallions has gone and everybody's been punished and

(45:09):
they've done their investigation, so we're assuming this game is
on the up and up. Right, that's what we're assuming.
So this game is on the up and up. Okay, cool,
So now that this game is on the up and up,
let's just go ahead and recognize what is happening without
their head coach on the road against a top ten team.
Michigan is dominated. That's a fact. Like for everybody who

(45:35):
wants to talk about facts, and everybody wants to talk
about all well, what they did to get an advantage
and to get an edge? Okay, cool, Then let's play
this game, all right, So then let's call down the middle. Fine,
they had an advantage before they had a full blown advantage.
Do they have an advantage now? Are they stealing signs now? Okay?

(45:57):
Because I would say probably not. Yeah, they're probably not
stealing signs now. I mean that guy's been fired. There's
an investigation. I mean, I would assume they're not stealing
signs now. That would be my guess because I'm just
I'm playing by the rules that have been set by
Tony Pettiti, the other rat whiny cry babies in the

(46:18):
Big Ten that wanted Jim Harbaugh suspended. I'm just playing
by the rules here, all right. So finally everything is
on an equal playing field, like everything is equal. Finally
we good with this? Like what about like everything else
prior to this game? You know when reportedly because this
was told and this was reported on a little while back,

(46:42):
a couple of weeks ago or a week ago, whatever
it was, this was reported that teams in the Big
ten knew about all this stuff and had been adjusting
their signs the entire season. That's that was one of
the reports. So if they've known about this they year
and have been changing their signs so that everything was

(47:03):
more evenly played against Michigan, then guess what we've got.
We've got Michigan dominating teams around college football the entire season,
including Penn State on the road, a top ten team
just now without their head coach. You think maybe we
kind of overblew this whole thing, kind of kind of

(47:24):
made it to be like a little bit more than
it should have been, kind of sensationalized the whole thing.
You think, like maybe you know, like, look, I know
that the Astros kind of banged on some trash cans
and did all that stuff, but I don't know. They've
been to the ALCS a bunch of times. They won
a World Series I'm just saying. You know, it's like
when Lance Armstrong. Everyone went after Lance Armstrong and said,

(47:46):
oh my god, we got to get rid of this guy.
He's toxic, he's so bad for the sport. Lance Armstrong
was on the gas blah blah blah blah blah blah blah,
and then all of a sudden they went back and realized, ooh,
you know what, our Tour de France champions. It's a
campy Lance Armstrong. It's gonna be the next guy, right. No, no, okay,
well who finished third? Not him either, That's fine. You know,

(48:10):
top four it's cool. Final four basketball, you know, college football?
Playoff four four makes sense? No, not even four? Top five? Nah, well,
who's gonna win? I like the guy that finished like
seventeenth or eighteenth, why is he gonna wait, he finished
seventeenth or eighteenth? Oh, because the first sixteen guys all
pissed hot because they were all on the gas too. Like,

(48:34):
people run with this stuff and just assume cheating is
like everything. If you're cheating, oh my god, you throw
him in jail. Seriously, we can't handle this name. Dude,
do you really think that Michigan's sign stealing is the
reason why they've been running rough shot over that conference

(48:55):
in the past two years. Seriously, like everybody knew about it.
We all knew about it, So we changed our signs, okay,
And what happened. Michigan's been beating you by thirty plus
points a game like Penn State just now scored. They're
down twenty four point fifteen. It's a nine point game.

(49:18):
This is the most lopsided nine point game I've ever
seen in my life. And the team that's on the
positive side of things, their coach isn't even allowed in
the stadium because all the other rats and cheese eating
whiny little kids in the Big ten all needed him
suspended immediately. And what do they go out and do. Oh,

(49:38):
they're just you know, like burying a top ten team
on the road. That's all. No big deal, no big deal.
But again, this is we're fair now, right, this is
I mean, we're gonna see something different, right, Like Michigan
should struggle now, No, Jim Harbaugh, no sign stealing. Connor
Stallion's like a reported he was selling vacuum cleaners out

(50:01):
of a home in ann Arbor, whatever the story was,
and he had some business relationship with Blake Korum. It's
like deflaategate. It's so dumb, and everybody ran with it,
like there has to be a reason they've been dominant
the past couple of years. Oh, okay, what do you
think it is? Well, they got this guy and he's

(50:23):
stealing signs, all right. Well, I mean even though it's
been going on for years all over the place, and
you know other teams did it to Michigan. We know
that to be a fact, even though that's all been
goingn But okay, we'll play this game and guess what's
happening pure dominance, and that's exactly what's happening here in
State College. This game is over. It is a wrap.

(50:45):
Jim Harbaugh can go eat a giant t bone and
a glass of milk on the side, which is weird,
and do all he wants because this game is over.
Michigan's going to win this game handily. There are going
to be people that say, well, you know, it was
a nine point game, or who knows, maybe Penn State
goes down and scores a touchdown, tries to go for two.

(51:07):
Who knows, Maybe there's an on site kick, who knows
this game has been an absolute ass whooping. Just like
every game Michigan has played in all year long, they've
all looked like this sign stealing my ass. They're one
of the best teams in college football. Blake korm just
picked up a first down and you can close the
coffin in state college. This is a big win for

(51:30):
the good guys, the people that say, you know what,
I'm going ten miles over the speed limit and you
are too. But guess what, I'm not calling the cops
on you, even though you're calling them on me. Big
win for Jim Harbond Michigan at the Jonas Knocks on Twitter.
That's at the Jonas Knocks on Twitter. A lot of
positive feedback here on the show. Oh boy, should I

(51:53):
read that one? Uh, We'll wait on that. Let me
think about that while I read these. Guy Wright sen
and says you Jimbo ball washing bleep bitch boy, hit
your ride to that dump ann arbor in your knockoff
khakis and stolen Michigan gear with your free Harbass sign
outside the stadium for your ig clout while nobody gives

(52:14):
a damn d wad. Brian writes in Noxie the a
pirate can get enough of that grizzly bear bella bitch
shirtless and fantasizing that that dad bot is bleeping you
and that bleep that you bleep, David writes in j

(52:43):
Off Jony can get back to your favorite subject ever
with Brady Bleep and the rest of your circle of
flaming bleeps. Meadhead Travis Kelcey reuniting with that bleep bleep
pop singer in some random country. Have fun gossip with
your bleeps. It's at the Jonas Knox on Twitter, at

(53:06):
the Jonas Knox on Twitter or x is where you
can find the unedited versions of all of those. And
congratulations to the Michigan Wolverines who have taken the rats
out to the shed and put them to sleep with
a twenty four point fifteen win over Penn State. Not
calm Penn State rats, not callm Penn State rats, just
everybody else in the big ten. Just want to make
that clear. So Michigan twenty four to fifteen, and it

(53:29):
wasn't that close, all right. So coming up next here
from the tire rack dot Com Studios, we've got to
pay off our teas, all right, this is radio formatics.
We've got to pay out the teas. We are going
to discuss one of the most consistent things in all
of sports. In fact, I'm calling it right now, most
consistent things in all of sports, and it's yours here
on FSR. Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio. This is hilarious, man,

(53:54):
is this really is hilarious just to see the Michigan
pushback that we are getting. If you're just tuning in.
By the way, coming up later on this hour, we're
gonna have our week ten edition of Knox Locks, so
make sure you stick around for that. We got some
explaining to do based on what happened last week, but
we will get to that here coming up towards the
end of this hour here on FSR. So, if you're

(54:15):
just tuning in, the Michigan Wolverines, you know, the team
that's been cheating for so long, and man omanna, they
gonna get theirs because Jim Harbaugh's being punished and he's
not gonna be on the sideline and we'll see what
they can do with at Connor Stallions and blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Twenty four fifteen is the final, and it wasn't that close.

(54:37):
At State College against Penn State, they gave Penn State
a beating. Let's just say what it was. Let's just
say what it was. They gave Penn State an old school,
old fashioned beating. They're in Beaver Stadium and you've got
it's hilarious to see the lightning rods that the Michigan

(54:57):
wolver the Wolverines are now because you're getting there's two
different factions that are taking place right now. Nobody's in
the middle. You're on one side or the other. You're
either on the side that I'm on, which is good
for Michigan. I didn't think the science stealing stuff was
that big of a deal. I think it goes on
all the time, and I think people that don't believe
that it goes on all the time believe. I think
that you're naive. That's what I think. You're probably the

(55:22):
same people who when your wife comes home and smells
like somebody else's cologne and she says to you, no, no, no,
I just tripped and fell over the you know, the
perfume mile at Macy's and that's why I smell like this,
and you're like, okay, honey, I get I believe you. Yeah, sure,
sure thing, babe. You're those people if you believe that

(55:45):
this doesn't go on elsewhere. So you get those people
who are really really pissed off about it, really pissed
off about it, and they're attacking Michigan. And then you
got people like me who are saying, man, not all
that big of a deal. Happens all the time, and
people are waging war on social media that you got

(56:06):
Charles Woodson who's on Fox. He's up there with the
guys with Rob Stone and Matt Lioner and Mark Ingram
and Urban Meyer and that other guy. And Charles Woodson's
up there. He's got a Michigan versus Everybody's shirt you got.
I mean, there's people crying after the game. I told you, man,

(56:27):
this is an incredible theater. It is great. They just
think about this. There's somebody somewhere that you know in
your life and I don't know who it is. Somebody
somewhere you know in your life who's like, well, I
don't really like football, Like now that you think about it,
Like with storylines like this, the pop up, doesn't it

(56:49):
make that person seem like that much more of a loser.
Like what a loser? Like, there's somebody right now who
had no interest in Penn State, Michigan. There's a real
person out there. They had no interest in Jim Harbu's suspension.
They had no interest in anything that had to do it. Like,
they don't even know who Jim Harby is. I had

(57:10):
no idea. They don't know what Connor Stallions is, they
don't know science steel. That just literally like no concept
of it. There's somebody like that that is out there
right now. That person's a loser, I'll a period, just
a full blown, full fledged five alarm loser. And then

(57:34):
there's the rest of us who, no matter what side
you're on, we get to sit back and enjoy storylines
like this with Michigan taking care of business twenty four
to fifteen, the final there from State College Michigan now
ten and zero people emotional afterwards. I'm telling you, man,

(57:55):
this is this is great theater. Great theater. All right
at the Jonas Knox on Twitter if you disagree or
x at the Jonas Knox as we come to your
life here from the tiraq dot Com Studios. I do
want to give a shout out, though, because I do
think this is important because you're watching this game right now,
or you just watch this game and Michigan and Penn
State and like it does remind me of like another

(58:19):
team in the world of college football who's just as consistent,
Like Michigan's been pretty consistent this year. They'll just beat everybody,
truly easy, just beat everybody. It's just pretty simple, like, hey,
what are you gonna do this weekend. I'm just gonna
beat somebody. Okay, you must be Michigan because they've been
doing it all year. There's another team that I think
is maybe the most consistent thing in all of sports,

(58:41):
and it's the Iowah haw guys. And I know what
you're thinking, gonna make fun of them. Let me guess
their offense is crap. They don't score any points like no, no,
Like hold on, it's not that they don't score any points,
like they're historic at it. Like the three lowest over

(59:04):
under or point totals gambling wise in the history of
college football all belong to Iowa, and they've all happened
this year. The total in the Rutgers Iowa game today
is twenty seven and a half. Seriously, think about that,

(59:32):
between both teams for four quarters, sixty minutes, three plus hours,
the total they're expecting to score between both teams is
twenty seven and a half. There are sixty six teams
in college football that every game do that by themselves,

(59:59):
and look at it, like and here's the best part.
And I'm not taking a shot. I swear to god,
this is not making fun of Iowa because it works
like I was like seemingly always decent. They haven't had
a losing record in over a decade, Like they've got

(01:00:20):
ten win seat, Like they'll win their side of it.
They'll get to the Big Ten championship game and then
they'll lose and gotta get hammered and all that stuff.
But like at least you know what you got. And
there is something to be something about being consistent, you
know there is something to that, Like I want consistency
in my life. Like there's a reason why if you
go and you'll travel somewhere, you'll see a lot of people,

(01:00:45):
Like if you go to an airport, perfect example, you
go to an airport and you need to get something
to eat, there might be like a little local spot
and you notice how those little local spots are never
as packed and the line's never as long as the
one for like McDonald's or like Chick fil A or
some of those other spots. You know why that is

(01:01:08):
because you know what you're getting at those places, it
may not be as good as the local place. Like
when I go to local places, if I ever travel,
I want to try the local stuff, you know. I
want to try the local coffee shops, the local restaurants,
the local eater eat things like that. I want to
try the local beer. There's every place has got a
local brewery. I want to try it. Because I don't

(01:01:28):
get there often. That maybe my last time ever being
in that place. I would like to try it. But
there's a reason why in all those places they've got
a Taco Bell or McDonald's or something like that. You
go to an airport, there's always those places, and they
always have the longest lines because you know what you're
getting to me, and I don't have to guess, yeah,

(01:01:49):
look the food over here is probably better, but at
least I know what I'm getting over here. I always
like that long line in the airport. You know what
you're gonna get it, You're gonna get eight to ten
wins a year, probably gonna get to the Big ten
championship game. You're probably gonna lose. They're gonna have a

(01:02:12):
packed house in Kinnick Stadium. Iowa City is gonna be rocking,
and they're gonna score like twelve points. It's great. No like,
no giant question marks. No, Well, you know, never quite
sure what you're gonna get with this person. Yeah, they're
not moody. Moody people suck. Okay, it sucks having to

(01:02:37):
be around a moody person because you're around a moody person,
you're not quite sure what version you're gonna get. And
I'm not trying to call anybody out. If you're next
to somebody who's moody, just pretend like you know, you're
just you're just listening to a radio show. You don't,
don't even acknowledge it. Yeah they're talking about you. Yeah
you're the a hole he's mentioning. Don't even say that. Like.
It sucks being around people that are moody because you're

(01:02:58):
just not quite sure what you're going to get. Iowa's
not moody. Just consistent, same energy, same offense, same eight
to ten win year, same packed house in Iowa City.
Just dependable. And there's something about being dependable that to me,

(01:03:19):
We've got to start rallying around. So instead of people
taking shots at Iowa football for having to put in,
you know, points per game threshold that they need to
get before their offensive coordinator who happens to be the
coach's son can and get a big portion of his
paycheck and then you know, they just ended up parting
ways with him. Anyways, you know, we could sit here
and make fun of them all that, and we can

(01:03:40):
bust their balls and do everything we want. I'm going
to celebrate Iowa football for being the most consistent thing
in all of sports. Jonas Knox here Fox Sports Radio,
and that's at the Jonas Knox on x or Twitter,
at the Jonas Knox we are going to hear it's
very emotional. Look, we were talking about real serious oceans
in the world of sports, and they were just heard,

(01:04:04):
and they were just heard, and we probably shouldn't have
been able to hear them. But nonetheless, we will get
the version that we can play for you coming up
here in just a couple of moments from now. But
for all the latest from around the world of Sports.
Let's turn it over to Martin Wise.

Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
Thanks Jonas.

Speaker 6 (01:04:18):
Right now, Colorado with a twenty one to seventeen lead
over the twenty first range team in the nation, Arizona.
That one with a minute and thirty two left before
the half. Kansas State with a twenty one to seven
lead over Baylor with four minutes left in the first quarter.
Right now, Oklahoma State UCF just getting started, tied up
at zero.

Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
College football Scores just wrapped up. Jones.

Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
You were talking about it, Jerone more very emotional after
the game. Blake Corham, but bloodied part of the reason
why Michigan ran the ball thirty straight times to end
the game.

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Finished with two.

Speaker 6 (01:04:48):
Hundred and twenty seven rushing yards as Number three Michigan
beats number ten Penn State twenty four to fifteen.

Speaker 4 (01:04:54):
Just imagine if they had the signs.

Speaker 6 (01:04:56):
Number eight Alabama be Kentucky forty nine to twenty one
Jalen Miller. It was the first Alabama quarterback to account
for three passing and three rushing touchdowns in a game.
Texas step upsets Number sixteen Kansas sixteen to thirteen, and
number twenty three two Lane beat Tulsa twenty two to
twenty four. Then the NFL Cincinnati Bengals receiver t Higgins
ruled out with the hamstring injury for Tomorrow's game against Houston.

(01:05:18):
Jamar Chase still questionable on the same game with an
injury report. I was on the same injury report rather
with a back injury. Bill's Our receiver Stefon Diggs miss
practice today. He is expected to play on Monday night.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will make his first start on Sunday,
he toys ACL eleven months ago. They're also activating running
back James Connor off injured reserved Deebo Samuel for the

(01:05:39):
forty nine ers, expected to play after suffering a hairline
shoulder fracture just three weeks ago left back with Trent
Williams still questionable, and the Detroit Lions welcome back running
back David Montgomery to their running back time share to
the chagrin of all fantasy football owners at Jamiir Gibbs,
he'll be splitting carries after he missed the last two
weeks with the rib injury. He'll be back Sunday and

(01:05:59):
so against the Chargers. Jonas you're up.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
Martin, Thank you, my man. It is Jonas Knox here
on Fox Sports Radio. We are going to have another
edition of Knox Locks coming up in about twelve minutes
froment now from the tire rack dot Com studio. So
we talked about the emotions. This did not land well
with a lot of people who don't like Michigan and
are probably crying because Michigan still won without Connor Stallions
and Jim Harbaugh. But the interim head coach on the

(01:06:24):
sidelines for Michigan earlier was Sharon Moore, who caught up
with Jenny Taft of Fox after Michigan's win in State College.
Let's take a listen. By the way, how about the
fact that Michigan bookended the Fox coverage of their game
against Penn State with curse words that went over the air.
First it was Charles Woodson dropping dropping an S bomb pregame.

(01:06:48):
Then you got your own more dropping multiple bombs with
Jenny Taft after the game. People that are very upset.
What are the tears about you of cheaters? Hey, I'm
with me. I felt that, you know, I felt that
I'm glad to be picking a side here. No fence
riding on this show. No fence riding here. Hashtag free Harbaugh,

(01:07:13):
I'm definitely picking aside here Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio.
By the way, it is time now though, and wouldn't
you know it for the progressive play of the day
down the sun Hot? Can he get play touchdown? Way
to the arts? That is Fox on the Call, Gus

(01:07:35):
Johnson with it there. That is your Progressive play of
the day, brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes
bundling easy and affordable. Get a multi policy discount by
combining your motorcycle, RV, boat, ATV and more all your
protection of one place. Bundle and save at Progressive dot Com.
So there was other games obviously going on in college football.
I mean, listen, that was the most if we're gonna
be honest here, that was the most juicy. That was

(01:07:57):
the most important one. Okay, there is a pecking ordered
all this, all right, So you can get sensitive about
it all you want, but it is what it is.
I don't know what to tell you, all right, These
storylines are there. I will say this though. The other
one that I'm I'm fascinated by because it always bothers people,
and people usually get triggered when this goes down, like this,

(01:08:19):
but don't look now. The Alabama Crimson Tide of one again.
They beat up on Kentucky on the road earlier forty
nine to twenty one. Alabama was eighth coming into this week.
And I'm just saying, man, what if Alabama ends up

(01:08:39):
being beating Georgia in the SEC Championship game. Everybody who's
ready to write off Nick Saba and everybody's ready to
talk about, well, it's the end of the Saban era
and nil came and he struggled, and George has been
dominant and Georgia has one of the most impressive runs
we've seen in college football ever, no doubt about it.
But man, oh man, Alabama just hanging around, just quietly

(01:09:02):
winning games, just going about their business. And next thing
you know, the Crimson Tide have a couple of games
coming up. Obviously, they've got Chattanuga next week, that's easy,
they'll take care of that. Then they've got the Iron Bowl,
and then we're looking at the SEC Championship. I'm just saying, man,
if you're bothered by the fact that Michigan is winning,

(01:09:25):
you're probably gonna also be bothered by the fact that
Alabama could find themselves in the college football playoffs again
after what happened last year. Jonas knocks here on Fox
Sports Radio. Coming up next, though here from the tire
rack dot Com studios. It is the week ten edition
of Knox Locks, and it's yours here on FSR.
