Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome back into the show.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
We are broadcasting live from the tiareg dot com studios.

over ten thousand recommended installers. Tirereck dot com the way
tire buying should be. Tomorrow, NFL Sunday, by far and away,

(00:31):
best game on the slate. When you asks people, oh,
give me your top five NFL teams, these two teams
are always one two. Whoever you put one, does it matter?
Chiefs and Eagles on Monday. Not only is it a
marquee game, it's a Monday Night, it's a standalone game.

(00:55):
So everybody is going to tune in. Everybody will be watching.
I won't be at home, so I'm gonna be watching
on my phone, but I'm gonna be watching every snap.
Chiefs Eagles. My homes Jalen Hurts, Kelsey, AJ Brown. This
game here. Uh it's a rematch obviously of the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Maybe in a future rematch. This year's for the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
I'm not so sure of that, but it's a great
probab Man with that.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
That was my pick. That was my pick. So you said,
I'm still alive. How I can't believe mister.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Hey. You know what, Hey, when the season first started,
I said.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
To the Chiefs. You know what I said?

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I said, I said to Kansas City, the Chiefs would
be the first team to repeat in twenty years since
the New England Papers, and it will be a rematch
of the Super Bowl. And I said that, and TJ
was like nine, Kansas City, they don't have the team
and blah blah blah, And we're right back at the

(02:01):
same position where when we started the season.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
They don't.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Man, I just don't feel like offensively they have enough firepower.
And if they do have enough firepower, they're not showing us.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I agree with you. I just think Monday night, the
Philadelphia Eagles are going to impose their will on these
Kansas City Chiefs and let the world know that they
are the best football team in football.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
We agree on.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
It's just it's a statement game for them because they
are coming off of Super Bowl lost to this team.
And apparently, I guess Jalen Hurst has this his picture
still on his phone from him walking off the field
in the Super Bowl, which he uses every day for motivation.
And I just think for the Philadelphia Eagles, from a

(02:51):
confident standpoint, going down the stretch and getting into the
playoffs and getting the home fill of vantage and all
of those things, they win this game on Monday, and
their confidence goes to the roof knowing that they can
defeat the Kansas City Chiefs. And I think it's for
one reason, the one reason only. I think they're more

(03:13):
a physical football team for sure, I really do. And
I think spag He's not gonna treat anybody differently. They
are going to play man and man. They're Gonnay're gonna
pressure mahomes up without blitzing, because if you can get
to the quarterback without blissing, that is spagg nos yeah yeah, yeah,

(03:37):
yeah yeah pressure uh Jalen hurts. But I just think
that Philadelphia has the outfit for the style of defense
that he wants to run.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
And A. J. Brown and D.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Smith and DeAndre Swift, those guys and if you put
them in in single coverage situations like these guys go
to make plays. And I just think for the phild
of the Eagles, if they want to have the confidence
of going to the playoffs, of being the number one
seed in the NFC and get back to the playoffs.

(04:12):
They win this game, they will have home feel vanished
throughout and it's just a confidence builder for them going
down to Stretchbury to listen, now, we know we can
beat Kansas City and they have to have it if
they want to get back to the chip.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
You know, whether they beat Casey or not, this is
a confident Philadelphia Eagle team. I don't think that that
makes them waiver on whether they can beat them or not.
But I do think it's a step up statement game
for the Eagles. But I think what makes this a
very very intriguing matchup is that this Kansas City team

(04:52):
has not won easily.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
As they have in the past. They have struggled and
they have lost.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I think that this is a step up game and
a prove it game as well for Kansas City. The
defense has played tremendously well, and some would probably say
if you're looking at it critically, it is the defense,
Spags led defense that is the reason why Kansas City
is still considered to be a top team, you know,

(05:19):
having Mahomes and and Kelsey on the offensive side of
the ball. But I just see this Kansas City team
continuing to figure out how to win games. Like sometimes
we look at things and we get we get spoiled,
or we get you know, you get out of touch
with reality. It's hard as hell to win in the NFL,
super hard to win. And the dominance that Casey has

(05:43):
had over the last you know, five years or so,
it's just been it's been crazy to see them kind
of struggle a little bit more than what they usually
struggle in doing so. So I think it's a great
game for many reasons. Obviously, Andy Reid and Spags come
from Philadelphia, so there's a there's a connection there to

(06:04):
to this game.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
You got the Kelsey Brothers.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
There's so much connectivity to these teams and to this game.
I think it's going to be a super fun game
to watch. I'm glad it's a primetime game because I mean,
it's that's the best you can get right there. But
I think both of these teams have a lot to
gain and a lot to lose.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
If you ask me, Yeah, this game here is it's
a clash of the Titans. It really is the two
teams that just played in the Super Bowl, and neither
team is playing its best football. The Chiefs aren't as
dynamicic and explosive offensively like they have been in years past.

(06:47):
This defense is carrying them. It's not the offense as
it's always been. It's this. It is the defense and
the Eagles. Jalen Hurts has been banged up. He hasn't
been one hundred percent there. They've had guys in and
out of the lineup. The secondary has not been what.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Many but I think the Philadelphia Eagles are playing the
best football. I mean, what else more than you wanted
to do.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
When you look at their secondary, they're they're not good
in the secondary. They're they're getting beat and giving up
a ton of yards to in the air and to
receivers individually. And Jalen Hurts isn't nowhere near moving in
agile as he was at the start of the season,
and he's admitted that. And so they're coming off of

(07:32):
a bye week, the Eagles are, and so you expect
guys to be healthier, fresh, expect guys to feel better,
and so I expect to see an Eagles team that's
gonna be rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to row. And yeah,
the super they want to get this victory because of
what happened in the Super Bowl. But more than anything else,
it's the psyche. We can beat this team. Absolutely, we

(07:55):
can beat this team. And so I'm expecting a great
game because because although Kansas City has a great record,
when you say the Kansas City Chiefs, you think of
Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelsey going up and down
the field, and it's not that it's Chris Jones in
that defense saving them. And so for me, yeah, it's

(08:18):
the game of the week, but it's a game where
Kansas City can get their confidence back offensively, and if
they don't, the Eagles gonna The Eagles have so many weapons,
it's just crazy. How on the back end of their
defense they're struggling and they have Sleigh, they have Brad Burry,
they have pieces on the back end. They just traded

(08:41):
for Kevin Byern from the Titans, like they're they're I mean,
they got a team on Madden and everybody won't.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Guys is fighting to get the Eagles on Madden. They
so good, you.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Know, I'm a piggyback offull of lossa He said, both
teams got a lot to gain and lose, But I'm
looking at this Kansas City situation that's in too much
self Uh. They have a lot to gain I think
in this because if they do lose this game to
the Philadelphia Eagles, they know who they that they have

(09:13):
to get ready for, because there's pretty much nobody in
the AFC that's gonna challenge them to win the AFC
or get to or get to home field advantage to
get back to the to the super Bowl. For the Eagles,
I mean, everything is still up in the air because
you know, you still have a San Francisco team out
there that's that's pretty good. But from an AFC standpoint,

(09:37):
who is going to match up with the Chiefs and
the playoffs to dethrone them and not have home field
Avengers and go to the playoffs. It just that conference
is is dominated by the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
If Lamar, if Lamar Jackson stays healthy, I could see
the Ravens doing it and the Dolphin stay healthy.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
I can see the Dolphins not physical enough.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
I can see the Dolphins doing it. No, I can
see the Dolphins doing it.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
I just don't see them. I just don't see them
going to Kansas City. I just don't see them going
to Kansas City Baltimore fall games. If Baltimore can stay healthy.
I know, not having Mark Andrews the rest of the
season is gonna be a blow.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
But the way Oobi, but the way the way ob
j showed out, the way Jay Flowers came through, they
could overcome it if those two got Like Baltimore has
a top offense and the top defense, and so when
you can dominate both sides of the ball, you always

(10:44):
have a chance. And so Baltimore would be right there
at the top of the AFC now competing with Kansas City.
And you now, what's gonna happen with the Buffalo Bills.
You know they fire Ken Door, can they can they
get back in the picture or are they just a

(11:04):
big just roller custer up and down.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
We don't know.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
I think they hit their ceiling. I think they hit
their ceiling. Was just collateral damage to a team that's
already hit their ceiling.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I mean, it sucks for him, but he should have known.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Eventually, if Josh Allen keeps turning the ball over and
they keep losing games because of the offense, it happens.
But think about this, Ken Dorsey loses his job. But
in essence, if you had your callouts right, because we
all do. People that don't want call outs are Saturday
and the walk through. You do callouts. You just say

(11:40):
certain personnel groupings. Guys come on the field, guys walk
off the field. So how do you have twelve guys
on the field goal block team? You do that every week,
every single week. So so in essence, that ain't Ken
dorsey fault. That ain't Ken Dorsey's fault. Right, you do
call out, You do haulouts every single week, right man?

Speaker 2 (12:04):
How do you blow that?

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Josh Allen got Ken Dorsey fired?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Oh my god, oh my boy.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Blank, write it down, put it on whatever, whatever, Josh Allen,
you got your offensive coordinator fired. Hey, engratulations, And then
he said the next day they met, though the same
day he took it personally. Well you should, because Ken
Dorson is a hell of offensive coordinator. You keep turning

(12:33):
the football over being a Kamakazi throwing reckless passes on Sundays.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Hey, you got you got fired?

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Hey man, if they can do callouts the right way,
all they had to do is have eleven guys on
the field.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Game over.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
But I digress and they win the game. But hey,
Ken Dorsey, your collateral damage for what other guys have done.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Somebody has to take.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
The case offensive coordinator exactly.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
We gotta take it right home. Hey, sit eating damn buffalo?
Who knows hey's some buffalo? Wayne, enjoy your family because
you really don't get a chance. So that's that's what
you do. You enjoy your family. Why you had a time,
but we got to take a break up on gang.

tarreg dot com studios. I'm TJ houshmas out alongside LaVar
Arrington and Plexico Births. We're gonna get into a little
NBA now. We got our guy cups the legend. Oh yeah,
we got it with us NBA insider. Some dude show

(15:02):
on Game that worked us. What's up baby? How you doing?

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Man?

Speaker 7 (15:06):
What's up? Fellas? How y'all doing? Man?

Speaker 8 (15:08):
Light They y'all got the good red last night?

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Oh cuffs Man, I've been I've been thinking about you lately.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
You had, TJ. I've been thinking about you guys.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
You know, we haven't really had the opportunity to speak basketball.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I'm just gonna ask one question.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
I'm gonna let you guys further elaborate on this state
of the loss andles Lakers. What the hell is going on.

Speaker 7 (15:36):
I don't know, man, like that they won fo out
of the last five. But I even said it last night,
So I'm not right with the team black DJ. I
think what's happening there, Bro, These guys they have phones
just like us. They starting to hear their trade rumors. Man,
they starting to hear the rumblins. You know, it's it's
a lot of noise. Like they always say, Man, where
there's smoke, there's fire. I think what happened, man, the

(15:59):
first couple games, they realizing that Austin reads we might
be to cooolid a little too early, man, Like, I
think he didn't.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Even play twenty minutes the last game. He didn't play
twenty minutes last night.

Speaker 7 (16:12):
I know, And I think what's happening is I think
I think the trade rumors are starting to get the guys.
I saw the bite language last night in the huddles.
I saw it, and I think this was happening to
these guys. But you know, these guys are pros. They
got to come to work. Ad. You know, he's dealing
with a little he's banged up a little bit, but
Lebron is still bron. But the thing I don't like

(16:32):
to see right now. Is that we shouldn't be relying
on Lebron to carry the team. And you're twenty one, man,
Lebron shouldn't be having to play like a cyborg every night.
It should he shouldn't have to carry.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
The load like this, thirty forty minutes full Lebron at
this point, man, twenty one years and man, it's just
too much.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Maybe ask you plaques like you're from Virginia, from North Carolina.
We had k Mart, right, you know k Mart?

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Yeah, yeah, used to go get.

Speaker 8 (17:01):
Look you should go to Kmart, right.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
I don't know about y'all, but we weren't growing up,
so we had to put our Christmas on legs. So
I want to ask.

Speaker 8 (17:09):
The Laker nation out here, you can choose any.

Speaker 7 (17:12):
Christmas gift to put on Ledwey right now for this trade.
Do you want that? Do you want zack Levine? You
want Zack Levine? Do you want DeMar de Rosen or
do you want Ales Russo? Or do you want two
or three? You want two of those guys? Which one
you want? TJ.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
This this is the thing, Cuz Damar Derozen needs the
ball in his hand a lot to be effective mid
Ray jumper. Uh he's not much of a three point shooter.
And so that, to me will be very similar to
Russell Westbrook. It's like, Oh, he can't play, and then
he leads you like, oh, he still can play. And
so Zach Levine is a slasheries extremely athletic, can shoot

(17:52):
the ball, doesn't play a lot of defense.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
And so if I had to take two of the three,
I would take Levine and Caruso. But I'm not giving
up the major. I'm not giving up the majority of
my bench to do this. I'm just not gonna do it.

Speaker 7 (18:05):
So you're saying, so you're saying, I agree with you.
I feel like Ruey Hottimore, he's underutilized. I feel like
he should be untouchable in all these trade talks. Like
Austin reads. I love Austin. You know he's coming here.
He's become like a novelty. He's up, He's become a
he's become a fan favorite with the Lakers organization. I
know they would hate to see him go. But if

(18:26):
you can get a certified cooker like Levigne, Levin is
a game changer. Like he can match Devin Booker, he
can match a Bradley Bill. I feel like Lebron needs
a guy that can bring that firepower and it can
drop thirty or forty any given night. That's what.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
If you can give up.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
D'Angelo Russell gave Vincent and one more guy because the
salaries have to match and Levin is making a ton
of money. But if you can give up Russell gave
Vincent and whomever else, I'm I'm for that.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
But teacher, you will hang in your whole success on
the Los Angeles Lakers on d Angelo Russell if he
was playing well, so I mean you want now you
want to unload him and get rid of him at
all the guys you just missing Caruso, Zach Levine, and DeRozan.

(19:19):
None of those two or those three guys are going
to change the landscape of what your franchise is.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
If they are. If Anthony Davis.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
Can I say healthy, If all fifteen becomes a casualty,
Everybody jumped to jump the gun on this on this
guy and said, you know what he played, what twenty
good basketball games? And now you expecting this guy to
come into this league, start eighty two games and do

(19:50):
the same exact thing they did last year. He's not
that kind of player. But what I'm saying is, if
you're the a Los Angeles Lakers and I'm looking at
this ross just like you said, cuff and you're healthy,
ad Hachie Moore has to stay on this team. And
what it looks like is Lebron's gonna have to carry

(20:11):
this basketball team.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
And that's why you get somebody like Levine because he
can score in bunches.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
It's the thing, though.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
He can score bunches, but he's not that effective of
a shooter.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
The reason the Lakers have won for out of five
is because D'Angelo Russell is playing a lot better these
last five games. He's a big reason why the Lakers
have won four or five. And I disagree with you.
I disagree with you on this.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I don't think that demart de Rozan has to have
the ball in his hand to be effective. I think
the Lebron can get him into situations where he can
shoot the ball fifteen eighteen footers in the mid range,
because that is the Martin Roses game.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
But he does not. He does not have to have you.
He can be listen, he doesn't have the hell of
the basketball.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
To get to eighteen football TJ.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
He would prefer to set his shot up, get giving
the ball at the elbow, and he goes to work.
That's how he plays, giving the ball at the elbow.
He gonna go to work.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
And so I think Carusso, I think Carusso is that
piece that they need. Man uh. I don't like to
use this term, but he is a great point of
attack defender. Always joke that term, all these analytic guys
making up these new terms. But Caruso, Caruso can move
the puffies. He can and D'Angelo Russell. My thing with
di Lo is this man. Yes, he's looked good, he's

(21:35):
looked good this year. He's he's destrivinging the ball, he's
hitting open shots, he's looking smooth out there. But my
thing with him, he does not do it against the
powerhouse teams in the West until he does it against
the Nuggets. Until I see him do this against the Nuggets,
I don't believe him because he's always been this guy.
He plays good regular season basketball, but when the lights

(21:57):
get real bright we're starting the playoff series again Denver,
he does not show up in certain moments, and I
think we are too deep into Bron's career to be
banking on D'Angelo rug with hey, and.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
I'm also I'm also saying this man, the Lakers, they
always want to make a splash, And I don't be honest
with you, they never should have got rid of Caruso
and casenp in the first place.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
Never Kyle Kuzm, Kyle Kuzman the same, You should have never.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Made the Rugbrook exactly.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Yo, you had a nucleus of guys that you won
a world championship. It wasn't a bubble, but still kick
those guys together. There was no need for you to
get rid of KCP and Caruso from the start.

Speaker 7 (22:39):
Well, here's here's the thought process, man. I know a
lot that happened with that trade. The thought process then
it is the same as it is now. What we're
seeing is Lebron is having to carry the team throughout
the regular season and it shouldn't be that way. So
when they win got Westbrook, the thought process was, Russ
can be a hogh useless guy. He can carry us
when Lebron is on the bench. It didn't work out, but.

Speaker 8 (23:02):
Like Zach Levine can be that guy that can.

Speaker 7 (23:04):
Give you thirty a night and Lebron doesn't have to
be your primary score every night. That's the point Lebron.
As we saw last night he had thirty five naasis
like bron is having to be the primary score every night.
And I could tell you from the horse's mouth, Bron
don't want to be the primary score at this point
of his career because by the time the playoffs come,
like you saw in the Webon Conference finals, he was

(23:26):
out of gas.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
He was.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
At this point. Ad is who he is. Let's let's
let's get into this. I'm just man. Talk to us
about uh, hey, talk talk to us. Hey, who is
uh He's talk to us about this? Michigan State spartan
by the name of Draymond Green.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
What do you make of.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (23:49):
Look, hey, look, I got a new nickname. Y'all everybody listening.
This is the nickname for.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
Draymond is my homie. I know, Dre Draymond. I gotta
keep it real doing. I gotta keep it biking what
I do. Draymond his new name is he is the
saggingaw strangler.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Like that, Hey, nasty man.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
To be real plaque, to be real plaque. I think
what we're seeing what Draymond is? You remember you used
to go to the basketball court and those old heads
be out there with the shirt off, and you know,
the sweaty back. They got the sweaty back and they
fucking up the game. Because he might not ever admit
this publicly, Draymond is one of the all time great defenders.

(24:37):
He's so versatile, can guardfire positions. But he's getting up
in age too, right, So what does normally do when
they get.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Up in age?

Speaker 8 (24:46):
Yeah, they started doing those old man tricks.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Charles No, no, no, the Rick Mahas and the Bill
and Bill's that's what he was watching with upper in Michigan.

Speaker 7 (24:57):
But I just think Draymond is like his skin, those
are kind of diminiscing. So he had to do the
other stuff. He had to do, the Bill Lambert stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Deca, Hey, please, my man, David, y'all get off of
my business.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
State dude too. Hey.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
You know what, you know what I love about it
most was after it happened and they interviewed him, he said,
you know what, it could have gotten a lot worse.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
All right, Hey, come now, now, now.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
That like the funny. The funniest thing was seeing Rudy
Gobert's facial expression is because he came out of nowhere
and just started stringling this guy. But you could tell
that was personally Draymond is being waiting for that moment with.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
A Hey, why didn't Carl Why didn't Karl Anthony Towns
help his teammate out?

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Why didn't Karl Anthony town sep team out out?

Speaker 7 (25:56):
I'm glad you said that. TJ called Anthony Towns who
I call the towns of Karl Anthony. He is the
softest player in the NBA. Bro oh who he is?

Speaker 9 (26:07):
Soft?

Speaker 7 (26:08):
Man like him?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Standing behind Draymond.

Speaker 7 (26:14):
Can we talk about what's really happening with the Golden
State Warriors? They lost five games in a row.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
I on my podcast plays off right now.

Speaker 7 (26:23):
Yeah, I feel like Klay Thompson, he might be he
might be medium washed right now. Man, I hate to
say he might be medium washed. And I say this
on my show the other day. Even though he's medium washed,
the LA Lakers should still looking to getting Klay Thompson.

(26:45):
You know his dad played for the.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
Less all the wide open shots playing with us. Let's
go get rid of him Golden State. Yeah, he'll have
nothing wide open shots.

Speaker 8 (26:54):
Clay Thompson, you can come to l a next year
and you can beat.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
My oh all recruiting already.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 7 (27:07):
The Golden State Warriors, I feel like their their window
has closed because they don't have enough size. Like Kaminga
is starting to blossom, Moody, he's starting to blossom. The
young guys are playing well, but their guys are just
too old. Man Clay, he can't move the puppies no more.
He used to be one of the top two or
three you know, three, D, three and D guys in
the league. He's one dimensional. Everything is. They're banking everything

(27:29):
on Steff right now. I come to feel bad and
stuff because you know, he's having to carry the low
more than he ever had. He shouldn't be having to
do this the same way bron shouldn't be having to
do this at the stage of their careers.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Well, they having to do it. It is what it is.
They'll figure it out. Cuffs, Bro, we appreciate you joining us.
Man always a pleasure, Cuffs the legend. Make sure, yes,
appreciate y'all. Sure make sure that some dude chowing up
on Game Network you're listening to it and you can
get that him at Cuffs the let once again appreciate

(28:01):
you cuffs, Thank you bro.

Speaker 7 (28:03):
Any timer love baby.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Now we gotta get to our guy. Isaac loyncrin I
low with the updates.

Speaker 10 (28:11):
All right, let's stir with number three Michigan fellas. They
have a twenty three to ten lead at Maryland, one
fifty nine left to play in the second quarter. Two
rushing touchdowns by Blake Koram. He now has twenty rushing
touchdowns this season. Michigan has also scored a defensive touchdown
third and ten tongue of Bylow back to pass Michigan
beings ofplits.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
He's in trouble in downygoes.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Football comes out scooped up, Maryland native Derek.

Speaker 10 (28:36):
Moore picks it up and walks it into the end zone.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Touchdown Lorenes.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
The Michigan defense.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Has gotten on the board a four yard touchdown return.

Speaker 10 (28:47):
The call on WWJ and Michigan also scored on special teams.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Snap is good and the kick is blocked.

Speaker 10 (28:54):
It's Christian blay Man and Singaporea kicks it out of
the back of the end zone and Michigan gets two points.

Speaker 6 (29:03):
Wow.

Speaker 10 (29:04):
Elsewhere in a non conference game, eighth ranked Alabama leads
Chattanooga thirty eight to seven at halftime, Miami up twenty
one to fourteen over tenth ranked Louisville fifty nine seconds
left to play in the second quarter, and at halftime,
twelfth ranked Penn State has a ten to six lead
over Rutgers. Also in a non cut out.

Speaker 7 (29:26):
God, oh oh, why is it that I literally never
get text messages ever except for during this show?

Speaker 10 (29:36):
Hang on, Isaac, don't you think you also should play
the highlight of the Penn State touchdown? And then there's
a fist emoji? Really was the fist emoji necessary? I'll
play the highlight.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Here we go.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
I'm the near hash attacking the soath ben zone to
our right, going into the student section from the two
K tron, Allen bounce his left.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Side to the ball, eye touchtop pens.

Speaker 10 (30:01):
Call on WQWK. Happy now.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Happy now, Yeah, he's happy? All right?

Speaker 1 (30:09):
He seems a little happy.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Valley.

Speaker 10 (30:12):
It seems a little stoic right now.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
They struggling. That's why it's a struggles. It's a struggle.

Speaker 10 (30:18):
I don't blame I understand. Number thirteen Ole miss at
a non conference game of seven to three halftime lead
over Louisiana Monroe, fourteenth ranked Oklahoma up seventeen to fourteen
at BYU forty one seconds left to play in the
second quarter, and at halftime number twenty four to two,
lane of fourteen to nothing lead at Florida Atlantic, and

(30:39):
last but not least, Michigan State a fourteen to seven
lead at Indiana two seconds left to play second quarter.
They go out in front on a twenty nine yard
touchdown reception by a Montory Foster. All yours, guys.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Yeah, well, let's pull up for the Spartans man. They
can get out this little rut that they in. Hey,
let's stay plexuston NBA man James Harden finally gets trade
to the Clippers. They can't seem to win a game
with him in the lineup, and then Russell Westbrook goes
as Tyron Lewin says, you know what, at least is

(31:20):
what's been reported. I'll come off the bench. I'll be
the sixth man. They get their first win last night
against Houston. James Harden hit the three that pretty much
sealed the deal. But Westbrook only plays seventeen minutes. Are
we gonna have a problem on our hands?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
I don't think so. I honestly believe that the difference
between Russell Westbrook and James Harden is that Russell Westbrook
understands the situation that he is in and he doesn't
have an ego as James Harden ass, so he can

(32:03):
be a grown man about his profession and understands and
knows where he is exactly at his in his career,
and he says, you know what, I'm just gonna come
off the bench and still be effective. So I can
take all of this nonsense out of what everybody is

(32:24):
saying and let James gonna play basketball, because you know what,
that is tough and hard enough on a man, especially
Russell Westbrook, who's gonna be a first bell of Hall
of Fame, who's basically averaging of triple double for his
career for him to take the back seat and say,

(32:45):
you know what, I'm gonna let James play, let him start,
and I'm gonna come off the bench. So that tells
me that you guys are not going to have a
problem moving for if you have lost Angeles slippers, because
he's already stepped to the forefront and you know, said
these things about himself and where he thinks he is at.
But you know, I just wherever James Harden goes Man

(33:11):
and I love James Man, it just seems that it
just doesn't work out as far as him getting closer
to a championship. And I think everything is going to
his career and everything that he's done has been nothing
but magnificent. But he gets to the playoffs and he

(33:34):
just does not show up outside of that first that
game one game in Boston when and B was out
and he goes to forty five, and what's saying to
I said, Okay, he's ready to take the next step
as being a great player that we have seen in
this league. And you get to the game six and

(33:55):
you let the Boston Celtics out of the door with
a read two lead, get Gay five yet Game five
and Boston Celtics in the in the NBA Finals, And
I think that's one of the things that's always want
to go with him. But I think if you the
Los Angeles Slippers, you didn't get closer to winning a

(34:19):
championship or competing for a championship in the Western Conference
just because you got James Harden.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
This is the thing, though, plex is this when Russell
Westbrook is putting the team first, you gotta understand we
all have emotions when you play seventeen minutes. If I
go to the coach and say I'm willing to come
off the bench, and I'm sure Tylu said, okay, I
appreciate it. You know, he still assumes he's going to

(34:48):
get his minutes, just in a different form. And now
you're not playing as much as you used to. I
don't care who you are. That's gonna bother you. And
so they gonna have to figure out a way to
manage the ego. Although I can be team first, I
still have an ego. And so all these guys have egos.
All these guys, when I say all these guys, Paul

(35:09):
George Kawhi, Leonard James Hard and Russell Westbrook have all
been the guy. And so they better manage the egos
because this can go off the rails really really fast.
We'll see how Tyron Lou does it. This is what
he's getting paid to do. It's gonna be interesting. We
gotta take a break, but it's gonna be interesting how

(35:32):
they manage this the rest of the season. Seventeen minutes,
and you know, he didn't speak to the media. He
walked right out the locker room. So that just tells
you right there, Westbrook was pissed off. He walked straight out.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
The locker room.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Then he speak to the media, so he don't like it.
We're gonna see how this goes the rest of the way.
We'll be right back man up on Game Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Ans and Plaxico Burroughs some TJ.

Speaker 2 (35:55):

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Houshman's out alongside Plexico Burrs and LaVar Arrington. Appreciate you
guys locking in tuning in with us this show. We
have Rhett Butler from Pretty Left Hook podcasting up on
Game Network. It was a I wouldn't say it was
a big fight or even a good fight.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
This past Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
I watched every single round.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
It is what it is.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
I let Rhett discuss that Shakira Stevenson and Edwin Della
Santo's fight.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Rhtt. First, I appreciate you joining us. Man.

Speaker 7 (36:49):
How you doing, man, I'm good, TJ. Good plaques.

Speaker 9 (36:53):
You know what it is, man boxing? It they trying,
you know, we gotta give him a little slack. TJ
know we had a bad night, you know what.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
I'm what was your take on the fight?

Speaker 3 (37:02):
I mean, it was no punches thrown really the whole
I mean, twelve rounds. It was worse than a sparring session.

Speaker 9 (37:09):
That's true. I mean this was actually a record. De
los Santos only landed forty punches over the twelve round fight,
and that's a new record, folks. I mean, over twelve rounds.
Nobody's ever landed that low. Ever, he only threw and
he threw three to sixteen, so that's crazy. But at
the end of the day, you know, Chakor got to

(37:30):
win his WBC champ. Obviously, we know that Devin Haney
is the champ in recess for WBC in a lightweight division,
but he's.

Speaker 7 (37:39):
Moved up to fight Reis pro Gray.

Speaker 9 (37:41):
But cha course, here we always knew he was headhunting,
trying to get into the ranks with Devin and with Tank.
But that right there, that fight is going to definitely
bring his stock down financially. When those future negotiations do
you do.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
You feel like it was just too much respect both ways,
because that's oh, he came for a track meet. I
came to fight. This is what he said about Shakira.
But de los Angtos, you could have forced a fight,
You could have cut off the ring, you could have
thrown more punches. It felt like both fighters respected each
other so much, or maybe they respected each other's power

(38:15):
and Shakira is not known as a power partner that
they were afraid to really just let loose and throw.

Speaker 9 (38:22):
I'm gonna throw it back to twenty sixteen Real Dijioniro
Olympics when Cha course Stevenson had a very similar performance
against Rabci Ramirez. Some people thought, well, he can't. He
doesn't do well against Cubans. Obviously, Edwin Delos Santos was
a Dominican. But I believe that Shakor he says he
was hurt. He wasn't feeling his best, is what he said,
and I hurt. He said he wasn't feeling his best.
I believe he was being way too cautious. He didn't

(38:44):
want to take any chances because whatever was going on
with him. He said, I'm gonna to the safe fight
went off points, and unfortunately for him, it just brought
his stock down with the fans because they bowed consistently
through twelve rounds.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
You know what I'm saying, Man, if you're gonna go
into a boxing match, man, you going to the fight.
And I thought that, you know, he didn't want to
really you know, facilitate hisself, and it was basically a
practice or a sparring match, because everybody knows the fight
that we want to see between him and Avante Davis,

(39:21):
whoever goes up or down to get into that weight division.
But I just thought it was a money grab and
a practice fight for him moving forward. And I'm not
a fan of it at all, and how much you
Cosse Stevens a fan, but for him to go out
there last night and to put the performance that he

(39:42):
did in front of all these people and to that magnitude, man,
I just don't agree with it. But I thought, hope
moving forward that he's getting better as a fighter because
everybody knows the fight that we want to see.

Speaker 7 (39:56):
Yeah, man, it was.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
We got no, no, no, we have thirty seconds. It
was lad Rat.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
We appreciate you joining us, but Shakeure gotta do better
if you want to secure big money fights. That's Rep.
Butler Pretty Left Hook. I'm TJ Housh Mazada. That's Plasco
Burris and LaVar Arrington up on Game. Fox Sports Radio.
We appreciate you locking in. We'll see everything next Saturday. Ratt,
thank you for joining us. Cup the Legends, thanks for

(40:27):
joining us. Fox Sports Radio up on Game. We'll see
you next week.
