Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh what is going on? Everybody? Happy week twelve to
you as we get you all set for a loaded
NFL day weekend. The ball Buffet continues on Thanksgiving weekend.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
You love that, Jeff, Welcome, Hello, Brian, Hello Crack. We
work together on Thursday and Friday. So I've heard ball
buffet now. Good morning days in a row, Brian, I am.
I would like to congratulate your Irish for making me
a lot of money last night because they turnbled over
three times in the first half. I saw the scores
at dinner, I was like, this is ridiculous. I live,
weger on them very heavily and they very much dominate
(00:41):
the rest of the game. So I would like to
congratulate you're Irish from making me a lot of money
late last night because that was I saw. The score
was like sixteen fourteen Stanford. I was like, what are
we doing here? And then nor they had three turnovers
in the first what twenty two minutes of the game
and they won fifty six to twenty three, so they
covered the original number and they covered the number that
(01:02):
I got live, So.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Thank you, very nice, beautiful. I love some of those
rushing props where Audric estimate I forget what it was,
maybe around like one ten and a half, And before
the game you might think, man, that's a lot of
yards and he rushes for two thirty eight touchdown quarter Yeah,
that's right, and he sat most of the fourth craziness
right there. I thought of you, Crack, and good morning
(01:24):
to you, Buddy warn Man. The Iron Bowl when Alabama
was on its deathbed. It's fourth and goal from the
thirty one and they score a touchdown on the ten
year anniversary of the kick six. That was unbelieva.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, Albora only rushed three guys there, Guys, what do
you guys think there?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
I mean, okay, so I mean, Crack. Not only did
they rush three guys, they really rushed two. One sort
of spied the quarterback on fourth and thirty one, and
the other two just didn't even rush. They just ran
up field and stopped. Like I am the opinion that
you should blit some hail mary situations there. We've seen
it happen often where you or you overload one side,
(02:08):
like you forced a quarterback to be uncomfortable in the pocket, right,
like you make him move a little bit you might look,
you might get beat anyways, at least you're trying. They
didn't even try to. Let Milroe just sit there. And
the stunning part about yesterday, guys, as we head into
the final weekend of college football with the champion games
next weekend, is that nothing happened again. Everyone won again. Yeah,
(02:30):
Alabama one, Washington won, Florida State one obviously, Ohio State
and Michigan someone had to lose, and Ohio State lost.
Was a close game. Texas blew out Texas Tech. Like,
we enter the final weekend of college football and no
no movement one through eight. Well, I guess there'll be
movement because Michigan played. But essentially one through eight that
(02:51):
started one that started the first CFP rankings will be
the same eight teams that will start and basically Tuesday,
this Tuesday, in the same spot. It's incredible.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
It is incredible, And yesterday it was wild. The Apple
Cup was crazy where Washington went for it on fourth
and one in its own territory toward the end of
the game, and then when they were in field goal range,
they're like, let's just keep throwing it. They almost threw
an interception. A couple of times.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
It was wild.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I do not like Washington. It's very clear.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
I'm an no kidding right now, I.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Just spies Washington. Okay, Washington's twelve and zero, right, first
Pac twelve team to ever go a defeated in the
Pac TWEF slate since is twenty eleven. No one's done
it before. Correct. Did you see the number for the
PACTO Championship game? No, it's Friday.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
All I did was he yesterday it was twenty twenty,
and I said, wow, Washington me lose this game.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
I just know that.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Oregon's favored by nine points. Oh Washington, No, Washington. Washington
was favored by three at home on October fourteenth.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Game.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
It's gone twelve points on a neutral field. Like Washington
has won nineteen straight games. Okay, that's a lot. It's great.
They've won ten games by eight or less points. Ten,
they're ten and oh in the in the last ten
games decided by a score or less. That doesn't happen.
That's Minnesota Vikings last year.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
I was just about to say, that's the twenty twenty
two Vikings's the Vikings.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
What are you telling us? Are you're telling us? Shoot?
Is that you're leaning to take the plus points that
but you wouldn't do that.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
We're telling you that Oregon's going to smash Washington.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Got bokers telling you that.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Think about it, makers like you would think twelve and oh,
there's no way. They're an underdog against a team that's
they already beat and that has a loss obviously each other.
And they're nine point dogs in the neutral site a lot.
It's a big line swing, right. That's twelve points in
six weeks, seven weeks.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Wow, that is pretty wild right there. If you look
at the futures market for whose favor to win the
national Championship, Michigan at the top of the list plus
one eighty five, Georgia said, plus two hundred, followed by
your Ducks, Jeff at plus five hundred. You gotta scroll.
I had a little bit more to your point, to
find Washington. They're eighteen to one. Ducks are five to one,
(05:05):
Washington eighteen to one. That's what the h the sharps.
The betting market Vegas is not with the Huskies to
your point right there.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, I I'm you know, I I I just Michigan
I think is beatable.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Oh I do too, Georgia. There's no way. I would
bet on Michigan before I bet on Georgia.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Georgia to me is the favorite, as they should be.
You know, they're not as good as the last two years,
but they're still the favorite for a reason.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Right.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Look, I don't get on ahead of myself because I've
been I've seen playing of heartbreak as a Duck fan.
We're really good, really good, and bow Nick is gonna
win the Heisman, I think, which I never thought I
would say. Like when we got bow Next a couple
of years ago, I was like, there's no way this
kid's gonna start for us. There's no way. He said.
He's completing seventy eight percent of passes, like this whole
(05:57):
checkdown thing. He doesn't check the ball down, Like what
are we doing? He does down fit all the time.
And it's crazy, man, college football, it's over. It's it's over.
Like this, we still have like eight NFL weeks left.
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
I know.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
It's wild in sports. One other thing that caught my eye,
I thought this was hilarious. So obviously Michigan beat Ohio
State yesterday, former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett, he
was on Twitter, so this is around when the game
was beginning, right, and he posted we believe in you,
Ryan Day, Let's go, and then just about two hours
(06:33):
later he posted Ryan Day, love you, bro, but gotta go.
This is why you're paid billions. Can't get paid nine
million and lose three straight.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
So this is so, this is kind of crazy. I
was listening to podcasts, But so he's I think he's
fifty seven and six as a head coach, fifty seven
and six as a head coach. The problem is excuse me, wait,
this is four or five seven, fifty six and seven
is his head coach. But the seven games they lost
(07:05):
are the seven games they wanted to win, like the
fans wanted to win, like like like he's not obviously,
you know, beating Michigan is just not you know, it's
not happening right, Like, it's just you know, in twenty eighteen,
what they lost, they beat Washington the Rose bull but
they lost that year to Purdue an upset, and they
lost to h They lost one game to Produce, so
(07:26):
I guess they went, you know, didn't want to win
that game. But then twenty nineteen, it's just like all
the games that they're trying, they lost the Cleumbs in
the playoff that season, the game they wanted to win
twenty twenty. I don't even count twenty twenty. And they
lost the Michigan three straight years, right, lost Oregon as well,
and lost George. They're so close, but yet it feels
like they're so far. I don't know how if you're
(07:47):
an how a state fan, like you can't hire a
new coach. He's fifty seven and six. What are you
gonna have fifty seven and seven? What are you gonna do?
Who's a new coach gonna do for you? But he
keeps losing the Michigan game and in like brutal ways
and you know, being being not being aggressive. You know,
Michigan went for a bucks on fourth down yesterday, it
paid off? Howestate trying to kick field goals? You can't
do that? And that's where the're that at right now.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
So you guys are throwing out the Michigan. It sounds
like a ive Georgia two to one. Man maybe, but
Oregon maybe with the five though.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Five the problem is it was much better like a
month ago. So if you're trying to get on the
futures market, if you're trying to get in the futures market,
like go ahead, I got a plus nine hundred a
couple of weeks ago. Sure, I still think george is
the play I really do, and there's probably ways to
Like if you don't think it's Georgia, maybe you play
something this weekend to help you get I don't know,
(08:38):
but I think Georgia. You put money on Georgia at
plus whatever, it's what now.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Would you say, Brian plus two hundred and you just
have that in.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Your back pocket for the playoffs. You know, then you
can play the money line for their opponent in week
one of the first playoff game. You know, there's way
you play Alabama this weekend. I don't know, there's ways
to sort of play that off. But I don't think
anyone's being Georgia right now. I have to see someone
do it. And Michigan is now what, lost sixth straight
games after January under hardball, So it's not just playoff
(09:07):
games are losing, they're losing other games. You know, Oregon
is unproven if they get to that spot. Florida State
has a no quarterback situation not good. You know that's
probably it's probably if it if the favorite sort of
went out right, it's gonna be Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, Florida State,
and Georgia's gonna beat Florida State. They're not basically a
(09:28):
by game and they're gonna play the winner of Michigan Oregon.
And if it doesn't work out that way, Florida State
loses to the Louisville and Texas is going to be
in it four.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Well, think about that too. Is your potential path to
winning the championship. Michigan might have to beat both Oregon
and Georgia depending on how it shakes out. You see
that happening. I don't see that happening.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
No, I don't Organ matches up well with Michigan. So look,
I'm gonna get have myself. We gotta win Friday Friday Night,
like the the unleashing of Vitrol, I will fire at
Washington on social media. If we win this game on
Friday night, it's gonna be. It's gonna be like it's
(10:11):
gonna be. I'm doing postgame radio on Call It on
eighty four for the you know, for college sports radio,
and on Friday night, I told my boss, I'm either
gonna be crying or I'm either gonna be crying, crying
of tears happiness or crying because we lost. And the
fun guys, this was the final weekend of Pacto football
ever ever. The conference started in nineteen fifteen.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
And it was an amazing season. That's the crazy thing.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
The PAC twelve was ending with essentially a playing game
between two teams in the top five, and it did
end last night in the most funny way possible if
you started losing thirty three seven after beating USC the
week before. But like it just it's ending like in
the best way we've ever ended a season, and it's
the last season of Packed to football.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
It's crazy. It's crazy because I was watching the Notre
Dame game Unpacked twelve network.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Welcome to the Packed of network.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, hey, hey.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
The production quality is great.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
It's great. They did this highlight package at the very
end of the game and it's showing great moments in
Pack twelve history and some players throughout the years. It
was amazing, and it's like, this is it. It's gone. Well,
you had the nightcap with UCLA not showing up, but
that was pretty much it.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, it is kind of crazy, how like you know,
the it's it's just done. And it's funny that the
pack of network has an incredible production quality. It's actually
it's a really they put on a really good product,
just no one has the I was wondering if no
one texts me. I thought some people were gonna txt
me for the PAC twelve network password I got because
that was did you have packed off Network?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I found a way.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah. When I saw that Notre Dame was on packed
off Network, I was shocked.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
I was.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I don't know how that ended up happening. I mean
the final game on packed off network was Notre Dame
stand for like the Notre Dame with the final game
impacked of network. So college football has been fun this year.
This is why we love. College football is different sport
than the NFL. Right, the NFL is different sport than
college football. In my opinion, they're two different things. But yesterday,
the last couple of weeks have been why we like
(12:14):
college football and why it's so much.
Speaker 2 (12:17):

All right, we'd like to welcome in Christian Sippolini BETMGM.
I'm trading manager, joining us here on the program. Good morning, Christian,
Happy week twelve to you. I'm curious about this Bill's
Eagles game. How much action are you seeing on the
Bills compared to the Eagles in this one?
Speaker 9 (15:16):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (15:16):
Yeah, right now, we're actually seeing about like sixty five
seventy percent of the money coming in on the Eagles.
It's a little bit surprising to me. I thought this
would be a lot, a little bit closer to fifty
to fifty, But yeah, that's.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
What we're seeing so far.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Going back to to Thursday, are you guys swimming in
in cash after everyone's teasers and parlays were destroyed by
the Lions.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
Yeah, I mean the Lions helped us, but going back
to the weekend, then we got kind of cracked after that.
Speaker 9 (15:42):
We forty nine Ers was no good. Cowboys was no good.
Speaker 6 (15:45):
And obviously the Dolphins was no good from there, so
get a little bit catching up to do those.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Three favorites and overs. I thought about that early.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
I talked about like ninety percent of the teaser money
from one person I know in town told me they
were getting But however, I figured later in the day
they gave the money back, including on Friday. So I
don't have the bucket out yet collect the money for
you guys.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
We'll see what happens today.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
But you know, today seems like a Brian said it earlier,
he spot on, seems pretty boring today. Is there any
games that has caught your eye or better yet, has
caught your financial eye really where you're surprised at some
money coming in with your biggest risks today.
Speaker 9 (16:30):
Yeah, you're right, it is a little bit boring.
Speaker 6 (16:32):
I think Jags Texans will be the big one there
that that should be the most interesting one. I'd imagine
that's gonna be one of our biggest handle and then
Bill's Eagles later in the four o'clock From that one,
we are taking a lot more Jags money than I expected,
like sixty seventy percent right now coming in on the Jags.
I thought this would be maybe a little bit more Texans.
Speaker 9 (16:50):
So that's a bit surprising.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
But then another one that caught my eyes to was
Panther's tight. We have about close to seventy five eighty
percent of the money on the Titans, and that's just
something I just really didn't I just don't see the
Titans as a team that the public would is, you know,
so goun to go about. Not that the Panthers are
any good, but yeah, surprised me.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
How about the prop bet market, Christian where you mentioned
the Texans. A guy like CJ. Stroud, Is he one
of the more popular prop bets out there or is
there another player that a lot of better seem to
gravitate toward. Whether they go over or under A lot.
Speaker 6 (17:26):
Of times, it'll depend on what happened last week. Usually
whatever happened last week will tend to get a lot
of that coming back through.
Speaker 9 (17:33):
So CJ.
Speaker 6 (17:33):
Shroud has a good game, you know, we'll get a
lot of his over it's coming the next week. This
this one here, Jaggs Texans is one where this goes
way over.
Speaker 9 (17:42):
I have a feeling it'll be.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
A bad one for the book because I think there's
a lot of Stroudovers, probably a lot of Tanks, dell
Overs and family. The other time with Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
And the Jags, the Raiders are getting nine points at
home in Vegas this afternoon. The Chiefs are off a loss.
They don't cover these games terribly often. We know, big
big road favorite, the Chiefs don't don't tend to get there.
Are people buying the Raiders today or they still kind
of back on the Chiefs.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
It's actually pretty close to fifty to fifty.
Speaker 6 (18:15):
We're taking more Chiefs money, but not by a It's
about fifty to fifty.
Speaker 9 (18:20):
There.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
Yeah, so I think people are starting to kind of
catch on there.
Speaker 9 (18:24):
You're right. The Chiefs when they have been big favorites,
you know, ten recently, they haven't. They haven't been covering those.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
The Patriots surprised me at this move minus three, but
I do know the two different sharp syndicates that actually
did bet New England minus three almost simultaneously up to
four and a half here. You know, I always preach
to the public you just can't lay four and a
half after it was three, especially going over the key
number of three and even a number that shows up
(18:53):
once in a while. Four What do you think now
you guys are going to be rooting for the Giants today?
Speaker 5 (18:59):
Is that? Is that also side that you guys.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
Are on, Yeah, a little bit. Some of them are
taking a money line there.
Speaker 6 (19:05):
If they are taking them, then they're taking a pat
on the.
Speaker 9 (19:07):
Spreadup they're taking them there.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
This one is definitely a lot of it's got to
come off Bill off a buy. It's just i'd imagine
the public's gonna struggle trying to bet Tommy DeVito when
Bill Belichick had a full week to prepare for him,
I'd imagine. So we got a lot of under bets
in that one as well too, even that low, low
number thirty four still getting.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Unders got How about the Chargers, Christian where I'm just
laughing to myself, where I'm anticipating a betting breaking point,
you know what i mean, where betters just say screw
this team, I'm over it. They lose a heartbreaker against
the Packers last week when they should have won, and
do you see that coupled with they're facing a really
(19:46):
good Ravens team, Like, do you sense a betting breaking
point where people are just off of the Chargers at
this point?
Speaker 9 (19:54):
Yeah, this was a night game. So we'll see most
of our action, you know, later this afternoon.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
And into tonight, but as of now, this is going
to be one where we're going to be those Chargers.
Speaker 9 (20:02):
I think maybe what you're saying is starting to catch on.
Speaker 6 (20:05):
Ravens have become one of the more popular best teams.
But we're looking at about seventy five eighty percent of
the money at this moment coming in on the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
So we have two games today with AFC North teams
that have backup quarterbacks Jake brown and starting for the Bengals,
they're getting two and a half at home, and the
Browns are on the road getting a point half against
the Broncos. Do those numbers seem low considering the quarterback
situations for both those teams.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
Yeah, I guess it probably depends on who they're playing
here too, the Steelers. We've been getting a ton of
Steelers money, I guess. And that wasn't enough from Jake
Browning last week. I thought he looked kind of decent
enough where we'd get closer to fifty to fifty action,
But that line's just been going more and more towards
the Steelers, and we've been taking money in that direction
as well.
Speaker 9 (20:48):
On the flip side there to Brown's Broncos.
Speaker 6 (20:50):
This is a pretty close to a fifty to fifty
game for us at the moment, so we haven't seen
anything too crazy either direction.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Christian Buffalo filled up fame as it comes on. You
talked about it earlier. As it gets closer and closer
to game time, do you expect that'll be the most
probably the most bets of the day, the most volume
of the day.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
And do you also think there's.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Gonna be some some money coming back on Buffalo or
you think the fild off your money just keeps coming in.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Yeah, I mean it depends if if this line drifts anymore,
I'm sure. I don't think we'll I don't think we'll
go to three and a half, but if we did that,
we'd certainly start seeing Buffalo money come that way. I
still think we'll get more Buffalo money.
Speaker 9 (21:32):
Coming right now.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
Like I said, we're pretty lopsided towards the Eagles. The
night game is always king though when it comes to handle,
so that Ravens Chargers will be our biggest one of.
Speaker 9 (21:42):
The full day.
Speaker 6 (21:43):
But I would of the you know, one o'clocks into
four o'clock. The Bill's Eagles Jaggs Texans will be the two.
I would peg is our biggest handle games today.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Cool well, hey Christin, thanks for the time.
Speaker 8 (21:55):
Man.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Hope you enjoy Week twelve and make it a great day.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
Man.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
We'll catch you soon.
Speaker 9 (22:00):
Thanks for having me.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
I have a good day you too.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
There is Christian Zippolini bet MGM Trading Manager. It's funny, crack.
I was just thinking about you Sunday night football. You
always talk about Hey, we gotta you're chasing your what
you lost earlier. A lot of betters are doing that,
can't you see? It's like, hey, man, screw the Chargers.
Let's just lay the three go with the Ravens, and
this would be the week that the Chargers decide to
(22:25):
show up and play some football, right, wouldn't that be
the timing of it?
Speaker 4 (22:28):
The Chargers are my team. That's a Nemesis team. Bet
with or against, just stay off. The game should be
apt a good game.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Though. Here's the problem with Chargers games, guys, is that
we already know how they're gonna end. The game is
gonna be tied with two minutes left, or be it's
really gonna between three points either direction with two minutes left,
and the Chargers will do something dumb to not win
the game, and it ends at three and no one
makes any money, right, Like, it's it's just it's gonna
be the dumbest thing possible because that's what the Chargers do,
(22:58):
right they And here's the thing will say, well, you know,
oh well that's not brandis Sadie's fault. No, it is
Brand Saya's fault because he's in charge of the team.
And we see that the best teams in the NFL,
A lot of what they do is they don't make mistakes,
right because it's coached, it's preached. They don't have bad
game management. They don't have players, you know, dropping passes.
(23:19):
They don't have just like all the things that sort
of happen in Charger games continually happen in Charger games
don't happen with good teams because they drill that out
of their team, right, And the Chargers continually have this mistakes.
And when you are a coach, a head coach, and
you're an offensive defensive guy, you have to be good
on that side of the ball. That's why you're hired, Right, Like,
(23:40):
if I hire an offensive coach. I know offense is
done higher. DC hire a defense coach. I know defense
is done higher the OC. The Chargers stake on defense.
So like Banda says, not even doing the thing he's
supposed to be doing well. So I would love for
someone else to work with Justin Herbert. I don't know,
I don't know what some other coach like some just
something else to bring a different mentality that you're wasting
(24:00):
a generational quarterback man. That guy is a baller. That
throw he made down the sidelines or fifty seconds left
in that game, I mean, like, what do you what
more can you ask the guy to do?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
I know it, Quinton Johnston, you got to make a catch.
You know. Think about this too. If the Chargers lose tonight,
they're four and seven, maybe Stalley gets fired right like
this a national stage Sunday night football. I don't know
if he survives another If this is an ugly loss
type thing.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Well, what's interesting about him being let go, guys, is
the amount of people that are gonna want this job
is gonna range past NFL coaches. There will be college
coaches that are calling Los Angeles asking for that job
because of Justin Herbert, and the team has a lot
of talent. Like, they pick good football players. It's not
like they have bums on the team. They have good
(24:46):
football players. The reach will be far and wide for
people calling Los Angeles asking for that job. And so
I'm curious if they open up early to sort of
get some college coaches involved in this.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, yeah, man, some good coaching. Think about this same division,
the Raiders. They look like a completely different football team
with Antonio Pierce compared to Josh McDaniels. And look, if
they get good coaching there, You're right, Jeff, They've got talent.
If you get some good coaching in there, they could
make a splash very soon, very soon. Right there, someone
(25:22):
who always makes a splash. That would be Isaac loewen Kron,
straight off of Thanksgiving dinner, still on a football high.
He's got the latest for you. What's going on?
Speaker 10 (25:33):
I low completely fueled by pumpkin pie, copious amounts of
pumpkin pie that I would barrel past my own children
to get in terms of extra servings. And you guys
are discussing coaching. That's where we start right now with
coaching news from college football, where Kentucky head coach Mark
Stoops announced overnight that he is staying put after being
(25:55):
linked to the opening at Texas A and M. Stoops
posted quote, it's true contacted about a potential opportunity this weekend,
but I knew in my heart I couldn't leave the
University of Kentucky right now.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Unquote.
Speaker 10 (26:09):
By the way, A tip to guys out there, don't
use phrasing like that with your significant other. Darling, I
knew in my heart you're the one for me right now.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Right now.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Can't leave.
Speaker 10 (26:23):
Just pease, especially not in wedding vows, guys out there.
In coaching news elsewhere, the Indianapolis Star reports that Indiana
has fired head coach Tom Allen after seven seasons on
the field. On Saturday night, Number one, Georgia improved to
twelve and oh improved its winning streak to twenty nine
(26:44):
with a thirty one to twenty three win at Georgia Tech.
Fifth ranks, Florida improved to twelve and zero improved its
winning streak to eighteen with a twenty four to fifteen
victory at Florida. Finally, in the NFL, multiple outlets report
Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Max Crosby plans to
try to play today against the Kansas City Chiefs despite
being listed as doubtful due to a knee injury. If
(27:07):
he plays, he'll become the first NFL player to play
in a game despite a doubtful injury status designation since
the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes back in twenty twenty. Fellaws, that's
what's going on in sports right now. Back to you,
Thanks I LO.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
bet MGM. Let's stick with that game, Fellows, where you
got the Chiefs against the Raiders in Vegas today. It's
wild these dropped passes, Jeff, in particular you two crack.
But is a team you follow most closely, Jeff, The
drops are out of control. Twenty six dropped passes this season.
(27:45):
Excuse like Mahomes, wide receivers are dropping a little more
than nine percent of the passes.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
It was. It was funny because his stat line on
Monday nine in the fourth quarter maybe the last time
I was like four for nine for like forty five yards. Yeah,
he was brilliant. The throw he made to MVS like
buddy getting paid ten mind dollars a year. You gotta
catch that pass. And then the fourth and twenty five
throw hit Watson in the hands. And by the way, guys,
(28:15):
remember against Detroit in week one, they had a fourth
and twenty five to two, right, and the ball with
through sky Moore's hands also like and so you know, look,
I think it's fair to say that Travis Kelcey is
just a step slower this year, not because the Taylor Swift.
It's because he was hurt in week one, right, Like
when you get to be thirty four years old and
he's thirty four to thirty three, you know, injuries started linger.
(28:37):
He had a bone brews week one, he missed week one, right,
he looked at he got a little gimpie ankle last game,
like he's just not the same and team was just
flying out doubling him. The Eagles just put their safety
on Travis Kelcey and said, someone else beat us and
they couldn't do it. The thing about the Chiefs, though,
is that if they just catch the passes, they win
all the football games. Like it's it's not like they're
(28:59):
like that far behind. I mean, if they catch against
the passing with the Lions or the Eagles, they're what
ten and one and or nine to one, and we're like, yep, aft,
you know, so they just going to catch the football
because their defense is unbelievably good defense is I mean
the Eagles had what two hundred and fifty yards on
London football, and so it goes to me though it
(29:22):
goes beyond that, Like the penalties have been bad for
the Chiefs this year. Travis Kelcey can't fumble in the Reds.
They can't overcome these mistakes, right, and so look, they've
had a lot, they've had, you know, six days to
stew on that. They're a game you know, day short
here in preparation compared to the Raiders. Crosby would be
the first player this year listed as doubtful to play
in the game. So see if he plays or not.
(29:44):
If Crosby's out, I mean, you give Mahomes time to
throw the ball, I think the Chiefs will take it
down the Raider. I am normally anti Chiefs, big number
crack on the road, especially it's nine points, but it
it does feel like a lot of averages. They catch
a football today and they win this game, you know,
(30:05):
thirty one seventeen, right, that feels like a thing that
can happen. I'm not sure a wager on it, but
if they just catch a football, they wouldn't game by
two touchdout because their defense is so good.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Yeah, I'm looking to blame. I'm looking to blame Taylor Swift,
to be honest with you got to just get her
out of there.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
I don't want to be in around.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
I don't want her nowhere around football until at the
end of February. Pleae. The Kansas City game really hurt me.
I usually I never won the complain about losses, but
it could potentially mean so much implied to me. We
have a big contest in town here and it's almost
six thousand people in it. If Kansas City catches the ball,
(30:45):
I'm in around twentieth place if they catch the ball,
which is you know this talk on seven figure on
paydays here. So it just it hurt me in many
plus I bet them, so it was hurt me in
many different ways today.
Speaker 5 (30:59):
I got to tell you.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Yeah, man, it just seems like a pretty high spread
for a Vegas team. That's probably imagine saying this probably
has been a little bit improved the past few games.
But then again, you just made some fantastic points if
a few catches were made, how good Kansas City would
look on the charts this year in this game. And
if they do win a couple of those games, if
(31:21):
they do make some of those catches, you know, maybe
beat Denver or well Denver, I can't really count that game,
but definitely the last game. Are they ten point favorites
in this game? Probably? Probably, But I lean I leaned
the dog here in this game. I didn't bet them,
but I would definitely lean the dog, especially if Crosby
(31:42):
was playing. I didn't think he was even playing until
this morning. They said he may play, right, so you know,
he's a vital component of the team. So it looks
like I got some line movement on this game. In
the last like I don't know, like twenty minutes, some
under money coming in. So the lower the game goes,
the more valuable the points are going to be in
(32:02):
the game. Probably, And yeah, I would lean to the
dog here. Still, I don't know if the one day
extra really helps too too much. Casey's probably a little
pissed off too about last week's game, but we'll see
what happens.
Speaker 5 (32:16):
Well.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
And that's the other thing too, is we all know
about mahomes talent. He's extraordinary, but it's also him being
a great teammate. He's a great leader because, like you said, Jeff,
he put it right on the hands of MVS. MVS
has to make that catch, they probably win the game,
and he didn't make it. The first thing Mahomes said
(32:37):
when he's doing the interviews postgame interviews, he's like, yeah,
the pass could have been a little shorter. You know,
he had to stretch out a little bit. Mahomes put
it on himself. So think about that. That means a
lot where Mahomes could easily be like think about Aj
Brown with the Eagles, who's a tremendous wide receiver, but
if he doesn't get the ball, he has a nervous breakdown.
(32:59):
Every time he did that against the Chiefs, again, Mahomes,
you can't have that at your quarterback position. And Mahomes,
as talented as he is, he could easily be frustrated
throwing his helmet around. I need Tyreek Hill. These bums
can't catch. He's not like that. He's like, yeah, the
past the MVS could have been a little bit better.
I really take my hat off to Mahomes. The leader,
(33:21):
not just the extor talent that he is.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Yeah, and Andy Reid also took blame for the loss too. Yeah,
they both did the same thing. And he was like,
it's on me. You know, I got to do a
better job calling plays and mahomes He's like, I got
if I thought them a little bit shorter, maybe he
catches it.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (33:38):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
So look, the thing about the Chiefs is they get
the benefit of the doubt, right because they've shown over
the years they've overcome patches of rough play to win
super Bowls. And that's thing about winners, right, Like the
Patriots for so many years and they had a bad stretch,
was like, well, they went like, we don't have to
worry about them. Other teams don't get the benefit of
the doubt, right. You look at at a Lions team,
(34:01):
or you know a Cowboys team that Cowboys beat everyone
who stinks. Well, guys, show us a win against someone
that matters, right, Like, you'll get the benefit of the
doubt in that situation. You know, the Chiefs played the Lions,
should have beat them, should have been Eagles, two teams
in the in the top of the NFC. They still
get the Bengals coming up, which I guess doesn't matter
as much as where the Bills are coming up soon.
(34:22):
They beat Jacksonville already. They I don't know if I
play the ravens S. I don't think they do. So
there's you know, the Chiefs have shown they can do
this over the years, so I I think I think
they'll be fine.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah, No, they typically are. Man, It's just we'll see
what they do offensively. You normally don't say that. Let's
see what they do offensively against the Raiders. They've been
shut out in the second half of their last three games.
Jesus crazy, what's happened with the Chiefs? And we've got
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran Bill Krakenberger from crackwins
(34:54):
dot com sports handicaper. I'm Brian now coming up next
the parlay platter. Will eat have one selection we pull
everything together for a bigger payout. We'll let you know
what we're thinking. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to

Bet MGM, the king of sports books, the king of parlays.
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Check this out, par late letter.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Okay, one selection for each of us. We pull everything
together for a bigger payout. We'll start with you, Crag,
What are you thinking man?
Speaker 4 (35:48):
You know I get a lot of my plays from
what Christian talks about. So when you have a big
giant sports book like BETMGM, you like to know what
side they're rooting for.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
I always want to be on their side.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
So let's throw a little nugget here on this New
England Giant game.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
On the over over over thirty five, We'll go with.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Okay, after my heart was ripped out and stomped with
that Dolphins under the other day with two two pick
sixes a late touchdown, the Jets just like giving up
on defense. I mean, like just I am I am
a broken I'm a broken.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
Man right now.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
I'm broken. I didn't have the Niners though in my contest, so.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
At least it was a duck, right at least.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Yeah, I'm a little broken right now. I had rough
week last week. The Crack challenge is not it's coming
back to earth a little bit.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
What were five? I forget?
Speaker 3 (36:40):
I was one three and one? Think crack? That was real?
Speaker 5 (36:43):
That was sorry?
Speaker 3 (36:44):
No, I was one three and one in my in
my contest. I don't know what I was with. The
numbers I get with you guys are little different. I
don't know what I was.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
So I was killing still killing it very good.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
So I'm gonna go with the Texans here plus the
point and a half for a variety of reasons. One,
I think it's just time to think saying I was
long last week at Houston. They're just good. They're good,
good football team. Jacksonville still, you know, just something missing
a little bit. Look, who is Jacksonville really beating this year?
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Kind of met right. They haven't played as well against
better teams, and this is something that really does matter.
I'm telling you, guys, two people that I automatically fade
in the NFL or on Jacksonville. They're terrible. They stake
it getaway during and they're both on Jacksonville. And I
already have Houston anyways in my contest, and that that
matters to me. People. I absolutely fade certain people who
(37:32):
took the Internet. Of course, and you guys know who
one of them is. I'm not going out who it is,
and it's atrocious. It makes us a lot of money,
and so I'm going with Houston.
Speaker 5 (37:45):
Oh man, that's great.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
It's only because well all of us know who it is,
so it's uh someone.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Else, and you know, you know true.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
You know Sammy t cracked. He has his friend the
bartender who's forty one percent against the spread. Like, so
I put those two together. Give me the Texans also
my contest, I took them before I knew those two
people wagers. I'm Jacksonville.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Wow, Okay, I'm gonna go with the Chiefs Raiders under
it's forty three and a half. I know crack forty
four is a key number, but yeah, I still think
that if you look at the Chiefs, I'm sold on
their defense, just not sold on their offense right now.
And you look at the Raiders, they run the ball.
That's Antonio Pierce's whole philosophy even said that in a
(38:31):
halftime interview, He's like, we're a running team. I think
it was against the Jets right the Sunday night game.
We're a running team. We got to get back to
running the football. So they chew clock and I just
think under forty three and a half is going to
hit in this one. Ask yourself, how many points are
the Raiders gonna score? I put it seventeen, So the
Chiefs would have to score more than twenty six for
(38:53):
the over to hit for you to get burned. Do
you feel comfortable with the Chiefs scoring more than twenty
six right now?
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Seventeen?
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Yeah, somewhere around that area seems like, Yeah, that's what
I'm rolling with alright, I like it.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
Yeah, as long as chief swing baby, keep it.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Rolling, just keep the train rolling, We'll get the train
back on the tracks. Actually, after last week, we need
to do that, all right. Coming up next, we roll
through more of the matchups here the zen Master, if
you will, against the rook advantage Zen. Oh what's going on? Everybody?
Happy Week twelve to you. Hope your Thanksgiving festivities were fantastic.
(39:35):
Black Friday, Your college football Saturday. Now we get to
the NFL here on a Sunday, fellas, let's dive right in.
We've got the Patriots at two and eight against the
Giants at three and eight. Well, baby, blockbuster, huh. Put
it on the marquee right there. But this number is
ticked up throughout the week. It's now the Patriots favored
(39:56):
by four and a half. You mentioned this crack just
a little bit again and a half on the road,
and I don't know if you guys are like me.
I'm like, the Patriots are two and eight and they're
laying four and a half. But then you stop and
you think it's Belichick against a rookie quarterback and Tommy DeVito.
I get it. I mean, I can't say I'm racing
to the window to bet Pats minus four and a half,
(40:18):
but I get why the money would be ticking to
the Patriots side. It's just they're two and eight. This
is a stay away game from me, man. I'm not
gonna be involved on a side in this one.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
I don't know, like, what is the what is the
reasoning for laying the on the Patriots here? Look, are
we just saying that the that the Giants are so
bad that they're not gonna be competitive in this game
because I don't know what the case is the picture
(40:54):
of note, I don't think having an outstarting quarterback? Am
I right on that They have not done that yet.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
As of now, we don't know They're not gonnaame went
until game time pretty.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Much, so we don't even know who the quarterback is.
It's not like Bailey Zappi was lighting the world on
fire when he came in last week. The Giants are
not very good. I'm with you, but they did play hard.
They're feisty, they're whole. I don't know, are you.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
I like what you said that they do they play hard, Listen,
I don't know. People just don't remember a few weeks
back Buffalo they probably should have lost.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
Literally Buffalo should have lost to the Giants in that game.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
I thought, as like a I don't know, fifteen to
fourteen point underdog. They played them very well, and the
Giants actually have late are playing okay. They blew a
ridiculous game versus the Jets a few weeks back too, though,
but they easily should have won. I don't get the line,
and I'll tell you like like just like I told
Christian two different syndicate groups that are winning syndicates bet
(41:58):
New England minus three. So you know, you always want
to know that you cannot bet a game. Guys, you cannot,
like Christian said, they're betting money line now if anything,
you just cannot lay four and a half when you
could have laid three, you know, hours ago or two
days ago. You just can't. It's key numbers, very low
(42:21):
total points are going to be at a premium. You know,
you want to make sure you're ahead of the line.
Moves they mean so much. I mean just look at
like last week, there was like a couple of games
I can't think off.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
Oh no it was.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
This was San fran was like eleven eleven and a
half they won. They went up to like thirteen and
a half, they won by thirteen.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
Rado happened. Remember Grans played Seattle, the Texans, the Texans
against Arizona where that.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
God four and a half to six landed five. One
of the rare games I actually had the bad number
I betted again. But you know, usually ninety five percent
of my games that I bet will close my way,
So that was shocking too. So you have to get
the right numbers. What I'm saying here, there's no way
you can lay four and a half in this spot
(43:10):
in my opinion. Now doesn't mean I'm jumping on the
Giants either, I'm just saying, you know, this isn't the
Giants Patriots games we looked for a decade ago or whatever.
What do you have Mac Jones versus Tommy DeVito? So
maybe if Mac even if or Zappi whatever. Yeah, but
Belichick lifetime. I don't know the number, but I know
(43:33):
he has success against rookie quarterbacks, so I guess they
put you put that in the equation.
Speaker 5 (43:39):
But this is a no play for me.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
Yeah. Man, it's a Giants run defense is bad. They
give about one thirty five per game, so maybe Remandre
Stevenson runs it well. But at the end of the day,
the Patriots, they're not only two and eight straight up,
they're two and eight against the spread this year. They're
brutal against the spread also, So I don't know, man,
I can't lay four and a half on the road
(44:02):
like that. I just can't.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
I have de Vito under one hundred and seventy one
and a half number, I bet MGM right now, I
lost that one last week I won two weeks ago.
I'm going back to well here, He's not gonna have
the same before with any the commanders. They're done right,
I mean they fired Jack del Rio. The reports are
the swarning that Ron Rivera's out of there. That would
not surprise me at all. They're kind of a dead friend. Look,
the Patriots, to be fair, sort of in the same boat.
(44:25):
It's not like they're thriving Frenches at the moment. But
I don't see this happening two weeks in a row
where Tommy DeVito, you know church in this, you know
Joe Montana, just it's not gonna happen. I think he
has another another rough one.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Yeah, how about this, We'll go to the Browns and Broncos.
So Brown seven and three. Broncos have won four in
a row. It's the longest win streak in the NFL.
They're five and five. The Broncos are favored by a
point and a half. The totals at thirty seven and
a half points have got to be at a premium
this this game, like this is gonna be a hey
(45:00):
kicked a field goal. Man, we're cooking with grease right now.
You know, it's it's just gonna be a very low
scoring game. Think about this too, where the Browns are
banged up, their offensive line is banged up, with their
tackles being out, You've got the starting quarterbacks out, starting
running back is out. And then you think about Patrick
Sartan the second if he's able to slow down to
(45:21):
Marii Cooper, how are you moving the ball if you're
the Browns and the Browns have a really good defense,
I think this is just gonna be a game probably
in the teams for both teams. I don't see this
going over thirty seven and a half.
Speaker 3 (45:34):
Yeah, you know, we keep saying the Browns are gonna
like lose with all these backup quarterbacks. They just don't.
They just don't do it right. They keep winning because
they're they're backup quarterbacks at least, you know. Right now
with with dtr protecting the football, sort of the game
plan is run the football screens, you know, find just
easy passes. I mean that final drive against Steelers was
(45:54):
great and j Joku ran that little whip route thing.
It's just like sort of easy off. We'rely on your defense.
I saw this that I don't know how much it
you know, matters in game of the game. But you
know the Browns from the ball over. A bunch of
the Broncos sports about to turn off, at least recently,
so Brocles ef it's playing slightly better as well, but
I don't trust Russell Wilson against this Browns defense. Miles S.
(46:17):
Garrett might be the best player in the NFL right now,
and you know he's not gonna win MVP, because that's
not the way we vote on MVP, but there's certainly
a case we made it he can win the m
v P right like. He's playing that well, and so
I think he takes over the game today. I don't
trust the Broncos to play against a defense like this
where they know the Bronx defense knows like they have
(46:38):
to be the reason why they win this game, and
so I think it's telling Like, think about this, guys.
The Browns are on the road with sort of a
third string quarterback, a rookie. The Broncos have won a
bunch of games, They're feeling better, and right now, the
numbers one they're talent. They guess it's trying to tell
(46:59):
you crably a wrong crack, right, But Browns are the
better team, even with the backup quarterback, because what is
home field this year? Crack two at the most, and
this year it's.
Speaker 5 (47:09):
For most squads. Yeah, yeah, that's not three, so it's two.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
So they're telling you a neutral site Browns will be
favored with a with a third string quarterback, tackle issues
as you mentioned, right and no left tackle, and the
Browns to me are the side and I'm totally fine
taking them. Yep.
Speaker 4 (47:26):
I don't trust uh, this Denver team. I don't I
don't trust Wilson. I don't trust imagine you're saying you
don't trust a I don't know what he got a
quarter of a billion dollar man. I just I just
don't trust them. I know they won four in a row.
And you know, if you ask the players, like why
why why have you won four in a row?
Speaker 5 (47:44):
What happened different?
Speaker 4 (47:44):
You know they're gonna say, play, we played great defense,
we've run the ball well, they've actually won the turnover
battle and stuff. That's the component you need also. But
I just I can't buy them, Jeff, I'm with you.
I cannot buy a Denver Broncos squad against you know,
a Cleveland team whould Yeah, they do have one of
the best defenses. But they do have to step up
(48:07):
a little bit. Someone's got a show on offense a
little bit there, you know, to be to stay in
the game here. Uh, this will probably wind up being
a really good game. Uh, you know, you're you're up
in a mile high there. It kind of affects people,
as we know. But you know what, these teams have
traveled here in the past, and I read a whole
(48:28):
article about this is really good article this past week.
Speaker 5 (48:31):
I read one of the Sporting News is one of.
Speaker 4 (48:33):
Them about how these players and teams this is not
their first times here. They've played here sometimes in college,
they've played here many times in the past.
Speaker 5 (48:43):
That's really not an excuse no more so. Yeah, the altitude,
that's not a problem. Yeah it's not a problem.
Speaker 4 (48:50):
But you know a lot of times people talk about
it and and you know what, I don't think it
even matters.
Speaker 3 (48:54):
Anymore unless unless you you know, you're unfortunately have what
we know what Ryan Clark have, Sickle Selly couldn't play.
I think you play in Denver. It's fine. You go out,
you warm up, you get a good warm up early on.
That's important. You get used to the air and after
the game a little you know, your breathing might be
a little bit, it feels like a little heavy, like
(49:15):
like you had chest sickness a little bit. But like
I played there, You're it's fine. Sure, it's fine in
a one game situation.
Speaker 4 (49:23):
Yeah, it's just it's it's a real like like Brian
said this about thirty seven and a half, and this,
by the way, went up was open thirty six and
thirty six and a half went up to thirty seven
and a half everywhere.
Speaker 5 (49:35):
Now, boy, I.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
Mean that's that's a key, the keyst number on totals.
Back in the day, you used to be able to
get with a thirty seven. So, uh, Brian, you might
be right. There might be a points that maybe had
a premium in this game.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
These totals, some of these totals are so gross this week.
Speaker 5 (49:50):
They are No, they really are gross.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
Thirty five and a half, thirty seven half.
Speaker 5 (49:55):
When did did we expect that? Wow?
Speaker 3 (49:57):
Well, I mean think about it, like these are you
know these are Curtsey I have bet On GM obviously,
you know you have backup quarterbacks like this is where
the NFL is at yea, you know the total the
high totals right, like Eagles Bills forty nine. I mean
there's you know, there's some totals that are up there
because you have your quarterbacks, but for the most parts,
because you have crummy quarterbacks playing right now because of injuries.
Speaker 2 (50:15):
Throw a couple of stats at you. These are kind
of wow stats to me. So unders at thirty eight
or below. It's twelve too and one this season. That's
an eighty six percent sick. So sometimes you see this
gross total and you're like, thirty six and a half
in an NFL game, Jesus twelve too and one to
(50:36):
the under so far this season.
Speaker 3 (50:38):
I mean that that's the same with the Iowa totals
in college football. That's right, we keep making them lower.
Speaker 5 (50:45):
How about that game? We didn't talk about that at all.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
What was it twenty Was it twenty five and a half?
Speaker 3 (50:49):
It closed the twenty four and a half right or
twenty five and a half. It got as low as
twenty four and a half.
Speaker 4 (50:53):
And then it's ten to ten going into the fourth.
You see, well, this is the favorites got there right
overscot him coming here.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
Then you have that of like wait a minute, a
field goal and if that's it, so I lose.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
On Tuesday. I was in New York City, so I
was able to use you know, some of the shops
and whatnot. And for fun, I made a thirteen point
tease crack. I did a five team thirteen point t's.
Speaker 5 (51:16):
You can use that total.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
And I got I got to thirteen and a half.
Over thirteen and a half. I took it, and I
was like, oh, hope, I hit over thirteen and a half.
Speaker 5 (51:24):
You were a lock early.
Speaker 3 (51:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
It got to seventeen points pretty fast.
Speaker 5 (51:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
I was like, oh, Jeff, you're good. Did you win?
Did the whole thing hit?
Speaker 1 (51:33):
No?
Speaker 3 (51:34):
I had Utah and minus eight and they won by six.
Colorado the colhead backup quarterback, but Utah had a fifth
string quarterback playing.
Speaker 4 (51:43):
They really they so tough to tease college guys. I
was just thought it was total though, Jeff, you brought
up a great point. I'll tell you what. There's a
basic strategy there. You could just bet over thirteen and
a half on any game.
Speaker 5 (51:57):
So yeah, it was.
Speaker 3 (51:59):
It was. It was a small wager. It was a
fun thing. I took Orgon down to pick them. I
took I took the total Michigan, Ohio State to thirty
two for it took the over and that and I
missed on the on Utah one by six. I had
a mid minus eight. I thought I thought they would
cover the twenty and a half, so the six didn't
really ill. That is what it is.
Speaker 5 (52:19):
Man.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
That's funny though, what you just said. Crack alright, no,
and that thirteen Yeah, they're getting over thirteen.
Speaker 5 (52:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (52:25):
We talked about that in the earlier in the week
and a really sharp group meeting with three of us,
and uh, you know, I've never teased a college game
in my life, but they made points to tease this
team and and you know, you know what, you guys,
something we never talked about.
Speaker 5 (52:40):
I'm good.
Speaker 4 (52:40):
I'm glad Jeff mentioned this. You know, those thirteen point
in those ten teezers.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
I want to tell you, no, I want to tell
you something though.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
There's some really good situations that, especially with the ten
point three team ten point teasers.
Speaker 5 (52:55):
If you can catch.
Speaker 4 (52:56):
Some teams twelve, twelve and a half in the NFL
out like we had on Thanksgiving Day and tease them
down through the ten through the seven through the three,
brother they have lifetime have really cashed at a good rate,
especially the ones that are twelve and a half teasing
down to two and a half, So that that's something
we've never talked about on the show. It's it's it's
(53:17):
situational today. There's nothing like that today to bet. But
if you can get three of those big, you know,
twelve point favorites on one weekend, just you don't have
to know anything. You don't have to know the color
of the team, the busts are coming in on any
of the players. Of course, you just have to know
who the numbers are. It's all about it, and it's
all about the numbers, guys.
Speaker 3 (53:34):
But what are you gonna? What are you gonna? How
many teams? You need to feel comfortable with the juice
on that one, because my thirteen point one was like
plus one twenty.
Speaker 4 (53:44):
Yeah, the thirteen point the thirteen points a little bit,
You're right, it seems like they Why is it that?
And I used to play these back years ago because
I had really favorable odds.
Speaker 5 (53:53):
Why is it we cannot win the thirteen point teasers?
Speaker 3 (53:57):
You're right, it's because it's because it's I knew what
I was doing. It's my first it's my first teaser
I'd done all year for Conche Football, all right, I
just I don't sound like regular thing I do. I
just wanted with a total of that game. I just
wanted to just have some fun and see they could
break thirteen and a half. So no, I don't tease
con football ever. That's that's not a good Uh, that's
(54:18):
not really Yeah, not a great wager.
Speaker 2 (54:20):
Yeah, good stuff.
Speaker 5 (54:21):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (54:21):

(55:48):
the BETMGM party and food and beverage credits. All right, fellas,
So how about the Steelers at the Bengals. Been quite
the week for the Steelers. They fired their offensive coordinator
at Canada. Most Steeler fans are rejoicing, but there's still
an offense that ranks twenty eighth. They've been out gained
in every game. They scored fifteen points per game, so
(56:11):
I don't know how much of a boom this is
actually going to create. And then also there was word
yesterday that there was some trauma in the locker room
after losing to the Browns last week. Wide receiver Deontay
Johnson and defensive back Minka Fitzpatrick had to be separated
by teammates in what was described as a fiery argument.
(56:31):
So that's in the backdrop today. Good news for the
Steelers though. Bengals run defense ranks thirtieth this season, so
if you're looking at jump starting the offense, it's a
good way to do it. Pound the rock, play action
off of it. You might get a steady dose of
that today, at least with the Bengals being banged up.
You don't have Sam Hubbard, you got a couple of
(56:53):
Cam Taylor britt Is out as well, So something to
keep your eye on as far as this matchup goes.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
Yeah, I uhh man. The Steelers as favorites on the
road is like a bad wager to always make that.
They just they don't play well in these games. Right.
If you're looking at this game and thinking to yourself, like,
where are these Steelers that much better than the Browns?
(57:22):
I mean, then the Bengals of this game. Are we
saying that they're much better at quarterbacks? Can you pick
it that much better than whatever Jake Brown is going
to give? They're not better on the offensive line.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
TJ.
Speaker 3 (57:33):
Watt certainly the best pass rush on this game. But
as a as a whole, is a Steelers defensive line
better than the Bengals defensive line? Obviously the run defensive
I just don't think that these teams are that far off.
And I like the Bengals at home in this one
to cover this number considering the way that that you
know that we've seen the Steelers play this season, and offensively,
(57:54):
I don't can you Pickett? It is just I was
wrong about him. He's just not good this season. How
much your quarterback change, coordinator change, I should say, changes anything.
Speaker 4 (58:05):
The Pittsburgh Steelers may be the most fagsy six and
four team in the NFL.
Speaker 5 (58:12):
That's the word I'll use for them.
Speaker 4 (58:14):
However, I don't know the coach over there. Things just
go well for him. He's a good coach. So you
know this is a like we said, this is another
one of those games. Brian opened up thirty four. It's
I mean to come on up to thirty six and
a half. I guess they're expecting some offensive firepower from
thirty four to thirty six and a half, but I
(58:36):
just don't see again. This is another one of those
games where I can't bet the under, but I'm not
forced to. I'm not betting the over either on this game.
It seems like whoever makes the least amount of mistakes.
That's almost a blanket statement for any game in the NFL,
but especially this particular game. I mean, Jake Browning it
(58:58):
gets his first start against the that's actually you know,
could they can generate those turnovers? So I just don't
have to go by the way it's been all Pittsburgh.
Money opened up pick them, stayed at one for a while.
Wise guys hitting up to one Sunday night. I noticed
when the line came out right away, it got hit
now up to two and a half minus fifteen.
Speaker 5 (59:20):
And that's what you know.
Speaker 4 (59:22):
When you see the two and a half's, they don't
want to go to three. But when you see the
juice start getting added on. For a lot of the shops,
they're probably not looking for no more, no more Pittsburgh money.
So we'll see what happens here. This may be a
good spot again for one of them for a teaser.
I love teasing when when teams are are low, when
(59:42):
there's low totals and you can get a team, a
home team that was two and a half point dog
and teas them up through the key numbers of three
and seven up to the eight and a half.
Speaker 6 (59:52):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (59:52):
Maybe a good spot there for a Sincy teaser.
Speaker 2 (59:54):
Man and I love this matchup. This is one of
the better matchups of the day as well. It's Jacksonville
against Houston. It's not a sexy like hey, seven and
three verses six and four, but it's an AFC South tilt,
but it's a great matchup. I'm really excited for this
one as a football junkie over here, C J. Stroud,
It's been fantastic. Jacksonville is missing its top corner Tyson Campbell,
(01:00:19):
and you look at Houston. This is surprising to me.
Did this surprise you as well? Houston has won ten
of the past eleven meetings between these teams. I didn't
realize that's sick. Houston was crushing the Jacks they beat
him earlier this year, right, beat him handily Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
Yeah, that knocked me out of my survivor pool. Costs
me a lot of money hopefully, So.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I mean sorry to hear that. It's bad memory came there.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
But yeah, the ten of eleven, I didn't even hear that. Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
Yeah, that's sin of eleven for Houston over Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
Jeff touched on this game earlier, and I agree with
his take on it. Let's go to Jeff first and
then I'll give my eye.
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
I just think that Houston's good, Like we just have
to accept that they're good. They're finding ways to win
plus Jacksonville. You know, I just you know, each week
it's kind of a mystery on what type of offense
is gonna show up some weeks to get you know,
last week was fantastic. Other weeks it doesn't really show up,
and it feels so again sometimes like you just you know,
(01:01:18):
you can't quite trust what team you are getting. So
I like using DVOA. Right, it's a good look. It's
a good NFL metric to you just to evaluate things.
So they rank variants. So the variance basically is like
you know, how predictable. Will you play each week? I mean,
I you know, the best variants teams are often the
(01:01:38):
teams that stink, so like the best ones are Carolina,
like the Raiders and the Vikings and Chargers. Well, Jacksonville's
twenty seventh to variants, which means that each week you
sort of get a different team. But Bills are thirty second.
They've been thirty second for the entire Josh Allen, you
know tenure, So what do we get in from them?
I that's that's a question. I had a Houston's twenty fifth.
(01:01:59):
It's not like they're much better. But I feel like
lately we've seen the same Houston team, right, and we've
seen a different Jacksonville team each week.
Speaker 4 (01:02:07):
Yeah, this Houston squad this game stayed one and a
half all week. Jacksonville won one and a half. And
you know, when I seen an opportunity for again for
a teaser here with the dog Home Dog Houston going
up through the three and a half to three and
the seven, I kind of skipped it at first because
for some reason it's just a it's a fake thing too,
(01:02:30):
because you see Jacksonville Houston, you say, oh, Jacksonville's got
to be much better than you you would think automatically,
maybe because of the season's pre flop win total over unders,
but Houston has definitely what you know, they're They're passed
out already here, so when you say ten of eleven,
it just makes me think, wow, going back those years.
I'm not one to go by trends over the years. However,
(01:02:52):
they did beat them this year. Kind of the same
kind of a squad, except for our quarter quarterback position
where we have a big improvement with the Houston quarterback,
so I kind of lean to them in teasers. This
is again, this is one of those games where you
look at it and you say, wow, maybe just a.
Speaker 5 (01:03:12):
Good game to watch.
Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
Imagine this, We're a sports betting show talking about a
game just to watch without a bet can't happen. So
I'll throw a little nugget there on the Houston teaser.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Man, I'll tell you this, the Texans have racked up
the yardage over the last three games. They're averaging four
to eighty six as a team. In CJ. Stroud obviously
doing the bulk of that damage, where he's thrown for
over three hundred the last three games, threw for over
four hundred through for four to seventy and five touchdowns
in one of those games, so he has been on fire.
(01:03:45):
I'm excited for this one man. You know what, I'm
also excited for Isaac Lowen Kron. Always excited for some
information with a little splash of charisma, if you will.
I love with the latest what's going on.
Speaker 10 (01:03:57):
We've got plenty of charisma coming up, thing to some
contributors from social media. We'll get to that in a moment,
but first, the inactive starting to be announced for our
six early games here on this Sunday in Week twelve,
Houston running back Damian Pearce is active after missing the
last three games with an ankle injury, as his six
(01:04:18):
and four Texans playoffs to the seven and three Jacksonville Jaguars.
NFL media reports that Matt Jones will start at quarterback
for the Patriots today against the Giants, but that Bailey
Zappi is likely to be in the mix as well.
Multiple outlets report Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Max
Crosby plans to try to play later today against the
(01:04:39):
Kansas City Chiefs despite being listed as doubtful because of
a knee injury in college football Kentucky head coach Mark
Stoops announced overnight that he is staying put after being
linked to the opening at Texas A and M. Stoops
posted and I quote, It's true I was contacted about
(01:04:59):
a potential opportunity this weekend, but I knew in my
heart I couldn't leave the University of Kentucky right now
unquote dramatic pauses and sarcasm added by yours truly now
fellas for the most intellectual, reasonable measured analysis of this
(01:05:22):
developing story, where better to look than the comments section
and the replies underneath Mark Stoop's tweet. Be Ma commenting
quote translation. After accepting the job at A and M,
the players, fans and boosters revolted. So I will stay
at UK or I can be a god by winning
(01:05:43):
seven games a year. Bairn Ben posting quote he saw
them Texas boys freaking out and said, you know what,
I'm good. Kat's den taking sort of a different reaction,
posting once you flirt with another, it's hard to go
forward with trust from the fan base. This marriage is
(01:06:06):
about to end unquote. And on the other end of
the optimism spectrum, Brandon posting, Hallelujah, jubilee. I spent all
night morning UK football and woke up to find out
we had risen from the dead. Thank you, coach unquote
in a related story, who uses jubilee as an exclamation anymore? Anyway. Finally,
(01:06:29):
another coaching news, The Indianapolis Star reported that Indiana has
fired head coach Tom Allen after seven seasons. Fellas, I
say this with great, great genuineness, Jubilee, back to you.
Speaker 5 (01:06:45):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
I lo.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
It is Fox Sports Radios Capdown to kick Off, presented
by Bett MGM. Let's dive into this.
Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
Sis, same game Parlans.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
All right, crack, you've been in the last cooking one
up what you have.
Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
Let's go to the Buffalo and the Philadelphia game tonight,
they say tonight one thirty. I'm gonna going to go
with a correlated parlay which I throw the If I
have to do these things, let's throw them in correlated.
Let's look at Smith over sixty four and a half yards.
Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
Let's look at the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
First half minus two and a half and the Eagles
over twenty three and a half. So those three get
back plus five twenty five. I think I know I
built it right.
Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
Just seems like a lot. So there we go.
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
So one hundred bucks get you back six set of
order minus to one. You're getting back over five to
one there. Smith over receiving yards Eagles minus two and
a half and also the over twenty three and a
half also in the first half.
Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
Interesting, Yeah, you like Davonte to get it done. Nice
game last week.
Speaker 5 (01:07:49):
Again all my props.
Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
Yeah, yeah, So just to let you guys know now
you want to get on it now, I'm gonna be
giving that out later.
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Also Smith over no Dallas Goddard, you know, think about.
Speaker 5 (01:07:59):
That as well.
Speaker 4 (01:08:00):
Actly one of the reasons why good good job.
Speaker 2 (01:08:02):
Yeah, absolutely, okay, love the car correlated same game parlays
from you, Crack.
Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
Yeah, they've they've been actually actually winning in that space
for this year. Too hard to do.
Speaker 5 (01:08:12):
So there we go.
Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
By the way, what would be your general advice, Crack,
think about this game where it's uh, Eagles minus three
for the game, Yeah, but in the first half minus
two and a half. I know it's case by case,
but what's your general Well.
Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
Last year, last season, the Eagles are I mean I
think it was actually the last two years Eagles first
half was just money got not as not as much
this year.
Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
It's still winning.
Speaker 4 (01:08:38):
But I just uh, I think they come right out
home crowd one of the few stadiums in the country
that really amazingly.
Speaker 5 (01:08:47):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:08:48):
It's just you feel the energy in the air. And
you better be wearing Philadelphia gear. I talked about it
every time. Yeah, there better be no Buffalo jerseys in
that stadium. You are in trouble, brother, I'm gonna say verbally,
and I hope not physically.
Speaker 5 (01:09:03):
That's all I'll say.
Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Yeah. My favorite would be I went to a Raiders
game years ago in Oakland and it was against the Steelers.
It was after the Steelers won a Super Bowl. It's
probably like six because they wanted No. Five. And it
was funny and it's crawling with Steeler fans, but it
was fun, like the fun trash talking is good. All
(01:09:25):
these Raider fans were walking up to the stadium. Every
Steelers jersey. They just go up to a raior. That
type of stuff is fun. The stuff where you're getting
shaked because you're wearing the wrong teams color not cool,
Not cool at all.
Speaker 5 (01:09:40):
Shanked.
Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
That's very nice of the Raiders fans. Let me tell
you something. They had a tough army over there. The
raiders too, So I'm surprised that that's all that was
going on. But yeah, in Philly it might not be
as so well, there be careful on the parking lots
walking around the stadium. They they don't forget they still
have the nice jail in this there. So you know
(01:10:01):
you don't want that to happen.
Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Yeah, no doubt. Hey, BETMGM is now available under one

Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
Prop it up player plays.
Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
Yes, the prop bets over here, I feel like whatever
makes you comfortable, you know. Maybe it's a hot shower,
maybe it's after a long day's works. Is kind of
like laying down in bet. That's how I feel with
prop bets when we start talking about this. Ah, I
just feel relaxed over here. Crack, We'll start with you.
What are you thinking today?
Speaker 5 (01:11:51):
Man? Well, let's see.
Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
Betmgm has a good line on this one. The Eagles
Smith over fifty seven and a half receiving yards the Tiget,
the Tigts the Eagles this year situationally, I kind of
stayed away from the props on their players a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:12:12):
But like you said.
Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Earlier, Brian, with god are U might pronounce it right,
godre got her got her?
Speaker 5 (01:12:19):
I like, go there go.
Speaker 4 (01:12:22):
Sounds so much more sophisticated. But uh with with him, uh,
you know, being out.
Speaker 5 (01:12:29):
Of the game in case it's a good matchup, I
think I like the over.
Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
I like the over there. More targets go up there,
so I like the over in that spot. I'm gonna
give you guys a second one Eckler under forty eight
and a half rushing yards tonight primetime game. I'm not
sure if he's fully healthy to be real blunts so
and the ravens Rund is pretty tough. So there's a
there's a two for one special there from the Kman.
Speaker 11 (01:12:52):
You go to theman them giving you guys props today, guys,
the K Mans in town.
Speaker 3 (01:13:03):
I like that the alter ego. All right, So Tommy DeVito,
as I mentioned, under one seventy one and a half
for me as a prop, I like also ain't O'Connell
for the Raiders is at one ninety eight and a half.
I know, I know it seems low, guys, I know
it does, but Kansas City does not allow a lot
of passing yards. They've actually held opponents this year to
(01:13:25):
eighty seven passing yards eighty two eighty seven Jalen Hurts
one twenty four last weekend Tua one seventy five to
two games ago. It just feels like the Chiefs are
very much reloing on the defense right now, and the
defense is playing well. If you think DeVonta Adams away,
what do the Raiders do on offense? Right and so
you know they could be behind and that's sort of
(01:13:46):
where you get screwed late in games to some of
these empty yards on these props. But I think a
O'Connell as a tough game today against the Chiefs again
knowing that that is sort of what they have to be,
right that they have to be a good defensive team
at the moment, and so I like that. I like
those two right there, ain no'connell under and.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
Under I'm gonna go with the running back, but man,
Alvin Kamara, it's at four and a half receptions. I'll
take the over. It's at even money at bet MGM.
By the way, you got to get the five receptions.
The Falcons they're terrible against the pass, and they're especially
terrible about opposing running backs catching the ball out of
the backfield. No, Michael Thomas as well, So I think
(01:14:30):
Derek Carr dumps it off a few more times to
Alvin Kamara. So I'll take that one. I also keep
your eye on this one similar thought process. Saquon Barkley.
His catch number is at three and a half. I
don't expect Saquon to be able to run it very
well against the Patriots. They're going to load up to
stop the running game and put it on Tommy DeVito.
(01:14:52):
Devido's gonna dump it off to Saquon. You gotta get
him involved in the game. So I think that Squon
getting to four catches today against that Patriots defense, I
think that could be a good play as well. So
I like running backs to catch passes today.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
I like it. All right, there we go, got a
good a good little player there. I mean, look, two
and a half is the numbers.
Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
It's back and a half. It's back two and a half.
Stafford's rushing prop bet is at two and a half
against the Arizona Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
He didn't do it last week, but he's an over
two and a half one two, three, four five six
times this season. The fame with the Cardinals pass rush though,
it's it's not the game I think to wager on it, right,
Like typically you wager on this prop when they're playing
a very you know, the Cowboys, right, the Steelers, the Colts,
the Bengals, the Niners, the Seahawks. The Cardinals to me
(01:15:44):
is not a team I'd wager on this. I wouldn't
do it, like I just and plus I and the
Rams are gonna win this game, and so a kneel
down at the end of the game would kill this
prop for me. So I'm gonna stay away.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
Staying away, man, it feels wrong to go under, you
know what I mean? It was like touch you away,
right to touch it?
Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
Yeah, no chance, no chance touching this and the overs
juice the overs juice to one five too, and so
like that, just I'm not laying juice on a Matthew
Stafford rushing prop at minus one twenty five. Crack is
not happening.
Speaker 5 (01:16:16):
Lots of money on the Rams this week.
Speaker 4 (01:16:18):
Guys to open up one and a half and the
solid sports books that are uh that controlling the entire
market are three on this game, so you know right now, yes,
three three flat two not even bet MGM is minus
three minus so five.
Speaker 3 (01:16:34):
The rams are favored by.
Speaker 5 (01:16:36):
Rams are three?
Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
Yeah, rams are three plus one and a half this one.
Speaker 4 (01:16:40):
Yeah, No, you can't, you can't you on Honestly, again,
this is another situation we talked about earlier.
Speaker 5 (01:16:47):
If you're finding.
Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
Yourself laying three on the day of the game, an
hour before the game, yes, public.
Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
You are definitely a square.
Speaker 4 (01:16:57):
I'm sorry, I have to say that if you're laying
that bad line an hour before the game, the most
efficient time of sportsbook it can take bets is right now,
the hour before.
Speaker 5 (01:17:07):
That's why the crack challenge is so hard. That's why.
Speaker 4 (01:17:10):
And and you know you guys are really both holding
your own Jeff doing great. It's so hard to beat
these games at the most efficient time of the week.
These lines have been up for almost a week straight.
Now it's up to three, and now you want to
lay three public? No way, only one way to bet
Arizona or stay off the game.
Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Yeah, I have RAMS plus one and a half. I
go on Tuesday.
Speaker 5 (01:17:32):
Wow, I don't know how that was it?
Speaker 3 (01:17:35):
Well Wednesday, Wow, Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (01:17:37):
Yeah, there's a four and a half point edge there.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. Yeah, very nice stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
You're about to say that too, Jeff. This is why
the crack challenge is so challenging.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
Course, you know, guys are playing the worst numbers.
Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
Yeah, ten minutes before the game start. It's rough right there.
But hey, more game previews coming up next, including it's
gotta be the Marquee matchup of the entire day. We'll
dive in coming up. Oh what's going on everybody? Happy
Week twelve to you? Is we get closer and closer.
Only fifty eight minutes now until kickoff. We'll get to
(01:18:13):
the Marquee matchup of the day in just a couple
of minutes. But how about this? Is Ilo mentioned in
his update. It's been reported that Mac Jones will start
for the Patriots, but Bailey ZAPPI expected to see some action.
Might be a fifty to fifty split today and I
just checked on BETMGM. You can't go head to head
(01:18:34):
Tommy DeVito versus Mac Jones in terms of passing yardage
right now, it's locked up. Honest question, would you go
with fifty percent of Mac Jones potentially today or one
hundred percent Tommy DeVito in terms of I go advantage
DeVito in that one, But you can't bet it right now.
We're a little bit late on that information.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
I just you know, I just wouldn't watch this game. Like,
the only reason to watch this game is if you're
one of the two fan bases hoping you lose to
get a better draft slot. Like, there is just no
they're both two and eight, right am, I right on
that is Giants three and seven.
Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
Giants are three and eight, three and eight.
Speaker 3 (01:19:17):
Like, there's just there's no reason to watch this game.
I know it's telling you to watch everything to like
to why and game everything and watch everything, but like,
I what is what is the appeal of this matchup?
It's two teams are not going to playoffs, two teams
(01:19:39):
that are fighting for you know, the first overall pick.
Two teams with bad quarterbacks. I don't get the appeal
of wanting to watch a second of this football game.
Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
It's history, Jeff, It's you know, Brady versus Manning. We've
got Super Bowl forty two. Oh Super Bowl forty six.
We still got Belichick in the mix. No, none of
that works for you today.
Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
It doesn't know. And the Giants, by the way, have
historically been really bad at covering games at home. Like
it just it just Met Life, I should say. I mean,
there's gonna be known at this game, right, like who's
going to this game? It just you know, you what's funny.
The last time the Patriots were at MetLife I played
that game was twenty fifteen, you know, because every eight
years is a rotation with the AFC NFC in the
(01:20:30):
home stadium. So we Odell caught a long touchdown pass
to start the game, like a seven hour touchdown pass,
and we should have won where we were we had
dropped the interception. It was bad. With a chance to
win this game, we should have. We lost by three,
I remember now, So yeah, twenty fifteen Giants, Patriots by
the way, Patrio.
Speaker 2 (01:20:51):
You know, I randomly thought of, Jeff, did you ever
do this Sunday Night intro where you say your name
and your college? Did you just say Oregon? Just standard?
Speaker 3 (01:20:58):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:20:59):
I like Organ?
Speaker 3 (01:20:59):
So yeah, you like it's like Organ?
Speaker 5 (01:21:05):
How you do it?
Speaker 3 (01:21:06):
Like four different ways? You like? Go right? To left,
Jeff Schwartz Organ you do it like in the beginning
of the season, and then they just keep it all
year so and they have to add, you know, they
add people in. Like so when I was in Kansas
City in twenty thirteen, it was any Read's first year.
We were coming off of two and I wasn't there
the previous year, but they were come off for two
and a fourteen season, and we had no night game
(01:21:26):
scheduled on our schedule all season long, right because of course,
like we had one primetime game that was Thursday night.
That was it. We started nine to oh and so
we were playing Stidn in a football that flexed us
to play the eight to one Broncos in Denver that year.
That was Payton Manning through the fifty touchdown passes his
first year in Denver in twenty thirteen, and so we
had to do all the intro stuff like that week
(01:21:46):
because normally we you do it beginning of the season.
They come by and you do it one day and
during training camp. But since we didn't have anything on
the schedule, we'd do everything that you know that year.
So it was funny to do it mid season, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
It's evolved quite a bit, man, right, Like now you
just shout out your high school.
Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
You're a town like college.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
You know, it might be Jeff Schwartz, I like pretzels.
If you did it now, you know, you just still
roll with Oregon, you'd still get down the same way.
I like it, you know, I hate it. I hate
I watch whenever Notre Dame guys because I'm from South Bend.
If any Notre Dame players in the NFL, I watch
to see if they say Notre Dame or not, or
if they shout out something else. I'm like, I wanted
(01:22:27):
to shout out Notre Dame. They typically do shout out
Notre Dame. But that's one thing I watch for closely.
Speaker 4 (01:22:34):
Bill Krackenberger pizza chicken wings, thin crust pizza, chicken wings.
Speaker 3 (01:22:42):
All right, you're you're a thin crust guy.
Speaker 4 (01:22:46):
Yeah, I'm a New Haven Pizza, New Haven thin crust pizza.
Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
I didn't pink you as a thin crust guy.
Speaker 4 (01:22:52):
But yet I like when I'm in Chicago, Oh my god,
Lou Mallinotti's deep fish.
Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
So I mean, yeah with with a forker knife? Is
it really pizza?
Speaker 5 (01:23:02):
Yeah? I know you're you have a good point.
Speaker 4 (01:23:04):
You guys don't do please, please Lord tell me you
guys don't do like pizza, hot Dominoes kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
Right, I have young children, you have you know what
you have to do it?
Speaker 5 (01:23:14):
Then?
Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
Yeah, here's why. Here's why. Yeah, like a you know,
like a pizza place. They consider themselves good. It's like
twenty two dollars for a cheese pizza. I'm not spending
for my kids. Yeah, get they get Papa John's. Okay,
that's what we got, and they like it. And I'm not.
Speaker 5 (01:23:29):
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (01:23:29):
I'm not getting an artisan pizza for my children.
Speaker 5 (01:23:32):
So artisan, that's exactly the right word.
Speaker 3 (01:23:35):
Yes, And I have a pizza of it at home.
I make pizza at home all the time. Making dough
is much easier than you think. It's like four ingredients.
It takes two seconds.
Speaker 5 (01:23:43):
That's fun. The kids get involved too, right, yes, yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
I will know. We do not order twenty dollars cheese pizza.
So Papa John's is right by the house. We order
Papa John's. They like Domino's. Weirdly enough, there's a my
kids used to be in the in the Jewish preschool.
There's a kosher the company makes kosher pizzas. It's called Howies.
The kids like those two They that she tastes pretty good.
Speaker 4 (01:24:06):
So so when you're in New York though, on Tuesdays
do you partake?
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
So there is a I say, the same hotel every
time I come in. Okay, and there's a pizza place
right around the block. It says nine nine cent slices.
Do the lines? I can't be good door line, dude,
the lines out the door.
Speaker 5 (01:24:22):
It's those big yes.
Speaker 3 (01:24:24):
It's like for two slices and special Yeah, dude, the
lives out the door. I don't know if it's because
the price is that good.
Speaker 4 (01:24:32):
Or can't none of those fly. I've seen those dollar
places in New York. I won't do it in New York.
I'm eating like John's a bleaker or something that I love.
Speaker 3 (01:24:40):
From I've had that. I've had John's. It's isn't it funny?
Like when you go to when you're in New York
and uh, you see like how crowded Alive Garden is.
You're like, what are we doing?
Speaker 5 (01:24:50):
Isn't that amazing? You picked out a great one?
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
What are we doing?
Speaker 5 (01:24:53):
Oh? This show can go anywhere. I can't.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
I'm gonna throw Bill's Eagles at you all right. Yeah,
I know the pizza, but you know this is some.
Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
Dog money finally coming in here.
Speaker 2 (01:25:06):
But guys, advertising matchup though, Jeff, absolutely here with Bill's
Eagles probably the game of the day, right, It's got
to be the matchup of the day, at least the
one you would promote the easiest. You got the biggest names, right,
Josh Allen Jalen Hurts certainly. How about this? Allen is
throwing an interception in seven straight games for that streak
(01:25:29):
to end. The good news is the Eagles only have
five interceptions this season. That's tied for second fewest in
the NFL. One other thing I'll throw at you. Many
things to think about in this game. But Philadelphia, I
know you love dv OA, Jeff, Philadelphia is last by
DVOA against opposing tight ends. And so you think about
(01:25:50):
Dalton Kincaid, who's been a big part of that Bill's offense.
Maybe Kincaid has a pretty good game against the Eagles today, possible.
Speaker 3 (01:25:58):
Also just reporting right now that Lane Johnson questionable with
a groin injury for the Eagles. Uh there without him.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
Injury, Yeah, but the growing the groin muscle.
Speaker 3 (01:26:11):
You know, it runs like from the you know the down. So, uh,
that's he's had that injury last year. Remember he had
the groin injury last season, played through it. That's a
big loss. So he doesn't play. That almost changes the
way I feel about this game, Like he's that important
to see. When he's out, it's a bit, you know,
different game. The Bills do rush the passer very well. Guys. Look,
Eagles are on a short week, emotional win. The Nick
(01:26:31):
Sirianni tunnel behavior was very odd. And do you see
that video, Brian, Like what do we do? Like, what
are you doing? Buddy?
Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Like you game? Yeah, he wants to be a w
W E heel.
Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
You know that's just I guess, Like I mean, the
chief change are probably we'll see in the playoffs, dude,
Like whatever, So you know, the short I don't know
the short week matters. I don't know. It's an emotional win.
The Bills obviously kind of had an off week last
week playing the Jets. The thing that's hardest cracked about Buffalo.
It's like, what are we getting? What are we getting?
(01:27:06):
Good Buffalo? Bad Buffalo. The Eagles feel like we know
we're getting what are we getting with the Bills? And
then that to me is like the hardest part of
what wager on Bills games is we just don't know.
And I think Buffalo plus three is probably the play
for asking me what to wager on. But I but
I do think that it's tough to put money on
(01:27:27):
the Bills because what if Josh Allen does though a
bunch of their receptions. What if they're the defense which
has been struggling with with without Matt Milano and White.
What if they can't stop the Eagles at all today?
And so there's those things sort of play in my
head about how I play the game. But I think
Buffalo plus three is still the right side to be on.
Everyone saw the Eagles beat the Chiefs on money at football.
(01:27:48):
The Eagles are back the Bills the question I've talked about,
so the Bills plus three is probably the right side.
Speaker 4 (01:27:53):
I put it like that, and yet I say, I agree,
but I didn't make a bet on it.
Speaker 3 (01:27:57):
I'd have bet on either.
Speaker 5 (01:27:58):
Yeah, I'm still time.
Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
Rack No, I know, there's plenty of time, but again
that's the most the most efficient market now real tough
to bet three when there was actually three and a
half out there, So it's probably a tough spot. So
I'm gonna stay off the game. But I do lean
Buffalo in the situation. And you know, this is a
bigger game for who Buffalo, a bigger game for them. Again,
(01:28:23):
playing playing at the you know, you know it's funny.
I almost said the Vet. Playing at the Vet is
playing at the Link.
Speaker 5 (01:28:31):
Over there in Philly. That's it's tough, hard to it's
hard to play there, my god.
Speaker 3 (01:28:35):
Yeah. But the crowd's very rowdy. It's not like a loud.
Speaker 5 (01:28:39):
Crowd, No, just a rowdy crowd.
Speaker 3 (01:28:41):
You're driving in there, and you're getting double birds as
you drive in. You drive so to fun place them
in Oakland, not Oakland, not there anymore?
Speaker 5 (01:28:49):
Right, But by the.
Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
Way, crack, what makes your skin crawl more your gambling
skin if you will, We all know you're allergic to
laying more than a touchdown on a favorite. Or is
it like what you're just explaining you could have gotten
a better line earlier in the week.
Speaker 4 (01:29:05):
Definitely the better line, question, Brian. Definitely the better line.
I'm I can't make myself bet something unless there's a
giant thing we that Let's be blunt about this too.
You know, I took a little flat for this recently,
but I'll mention it again. I hate to say this,
but the sharp guys are ahead of most media sources
(01:29:26):
on injury information.
Speaker 3 (01:29:28):
Oh yeah, people not liked that last week.
Speaker 5 (01:29:30):
People didn't like that. So but I'm just telling you,
I listen.
Speaker 4 (01:29:33):
I know there's I mean ESPN insiders, but I've made
a hell of a lot of money in my lifetime
being ahead of those two guys, especially when it comes
to more basketball, maybe than football, especially NFL, which is
such a you know, covered sport, but definitely there is
some the wise guys get the information on injuries from
(01:29:54):
beat reporters before the public gets them from new sources
and media sources. So besides that, though, I like the
unless that happens like here a perfect example. Let's say
something happened on Buffalo above the Buffalo game, where something
happened with Hurts on the sidelines throwing a couple of
warm up passes or something. So you'll see it was
(01:30:14):
three and a half. Now it's only three. Well, I
still want to get the three because that's a that's
a key key you know, obviously a quarterback, but any
key position is the running backs, wide receivers, guys that
are playmakers. Yeah, I want to know you know that
information before everybody else.
Speaker 6 (01:30:30):
Not.
Speaker 4 (01:30:30):
Of course I don't get it all the time, but
it's that's the only time I would probably just still
take a bad number or even a third bad number.
Secondary or third bad number is because of a giant
line movement that that's about to happen that didn't yet.
So again, this particular game three and a half, it
was only up there for a day or so, So
I have no real big, big problem here.
Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
There's three flats out there.
Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
Of course MGM is also listen, they don't want to
move off three.
Speaker 5 (01:30:59):
You got it, umber.
Speaker 4 (01:31:00):
Now, if you move off three, you're gonna get one
way action. So and you know three is the number
one number out of all the line spreads to come out.
So you open yourself up to not even a middle
a side kind of a thing where if you go
to three and a half and a lands three, anyone
that bet the three and a half wins and the
threes you push on that. You really don't want to
(01:31:20):
do that as a but then again there's some old
school thought to that, and old school book makers want
to generate money. They say the three doesn't come out
as much because of the two point conversion now because
of analytics, because of you know, the extra point going
back more. They want to induce wagering, so they'll go
toggle back between the two.
Speaker 5 (01:31:40):
And a half into three. So just matters of thinking.
Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
Yeah, the card threes across the board at the end
of the card right here. So Bill's Eagles three Ravens, Chargers,
three Bears, Vikings Monday night three right now, and it
can fluctuate. Also have Rams Cardinals at three. All those
games that were you on the nose right now? Yeah,
all right, so we got a lot more to do.
(01:32:04):
We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, Bill Krakeenberger
sports handicapper. Check them out at crackwins dot com. I'm
Brian No. Coming up next. Is this the day it
goes from bad to worse for this squad? It is
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
(01:32:27):
bet MGM. Once a day, play bet MGM's free to
play eight bit Barry for a chance to win daily prizes.
Plays Hall of Famer Barry Sanders and choose to spin
stiff arm or juke your weight to the end zone
to win prizes. If Barry scores a touchdown, you score
a reward. Okay, So Sunday Night football Ravens against the Chargers.
(01:32:52):
There's Chargers money coming in right, this line is moved
toward the Chargers. They were four point underdogs earlier than
this week. They're now three point underdogs. Home dogs, those Chargers.
I keep going back to this Chargers defense has been
so freaking awful. Where if the Chargers give up a
(01:33:12):
bunch of yards and a bunch of points and lose
the game tonight. I don't know that Brandon Staley sees
another game. I don't know if there have been any
reports that this could happen. This might happen. I just
think if you fall to four and seven and your
specialty is supposed to be the defense, I want to
be shocked at all if he gets the boot right afterward.
Speaker 3 (01:33:35):
Well, it seems like Dean Spanos, the Chargers owner, doesn't
feel inclined to make moves like this very often. But
I just don't know, what would you rather play the
rest season with a coach that the team doesn't trust
(01:33:56):
or believe in. Does it have faith in or would
you rather just have Kellen more or leave the team
for the last five weeks? Right, I mean like that's
that's what you have to pay Brandon Daily no matter what.
And if you fire him, you do signal as I
mentioned that you were open for business to a bunch
of coaches. Now, it might not be a college coach,
(01:34:17):
it might not be a you know, I don't know,
but but you let it known it's open, and so
that starts discussion about where do you go next. You
start lining up coaches and you get the first crack
of finding the right coach. So I have been on
one team that had a coach that we kept John
(01:34:40):
Fox for the whole season even though he told he
was fired after week seven, and we played as hard
as we could. Coaches kept coaching because he didn't lose
the locker room. Right, we were terrible two and fourteen.
It wasn't his fault. But if Brand's Daily losed the
locker room, yes, sometimes that's why you like, you have
to let guys go. And we looked at Aporte that
Ron Rivera got fired or will be fired by in
the season. I mean, we have a job too. You
(01:35:01):
have to keep playing, right. I think the players will
still play hard for Ron Rivera, but if you don't see,
you know, the effort. I'm not excusing them not playing hard,
but they're not totally boughting the coach, and then sometimes
you have to get rid of them.
Speaker 4 (01:35:18):
This is another game, guys, where I say, who's the
team that needs the game more? Without of doubt the Chargers.
I mean, uh, you know, is it every year they're
talked about before the season starts that they're gonna have
a great they have a great squad and the great team,
and this is gonna be their year. It seems like
(01:35:38):
it's every year again four and six. They need this
game more than Baltimore. Baltimore bounced back after last week,
after the week before, they blew the game versus Cleveland,
so they beat up a beat up Cleveland Cincinnati team.
But still I just think this is a bigger game
for the Chargers. But yet that's my name is this team,
(01:36:00):
So I can't bring myself to to you know, to
bet even though it's a must win for the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
Well, how about that though, crack where I hear you
on that. Where you start with, certainly this game is
bigger for the Chargers. They're four and six, you know,
But how do you apply that if you're not backing
the Chargers? Is that big enough in your mind where
it's a stay away you know what I mean? Who
needs the game more?
Speaker 5 (01:36:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:36:25):
Well, who needs the game more definitely should come into play.
But it may have done that already earlier in the week.
Like you said earlier, Brian, this came hop with up
a four, so that the four and there was a
four and three and a half I can't take again.
We talked about it overly, really really aggressively talking about
the subject today. But again, I'm not taking a team
(01:36:45):
plus three when it was I could have got three
and a half or four.
Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
I have a question for you, Crack you do you
do you track this idea? You probably don't, cause it's
a kind of a dumb idea of track in my opinion.
But like of who needs a win more? College football thing?
Because the NFL, like the Ravens need to win too.
They have to keep pacing North, they have to keep
paying the FC conference. Like I feel like that's a
college football thing, you know, last night.
Speaker 5 (01:37:09):
College it means more he saw Cal last night.
Speaker 3 (01:37:12):
You know, uc I didn't make a bowl game like that.
I think that's like sort of a motivation in college,
but the NFL. I don't find that in the same motivation.
The Chargers need to win last week too before that. Yeah,
and I don't know if that's a motivation because you're
supposed to win every game.
Speaker 4 (01:37:28):
So I'm probably putting that collegiate sports in general, h
football being the leader, maybe even college basketball late in
the season to you know, determine March Madness.
Speaker 5 (01:37:38):
Or whatever it may be.
Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
Uh, but yeah, you're probably the NFL will probably come in,
uh and you know, definitely comes in after that. But uh,
you know you would just put that into the handicapping.
But again earlier in the week, not now. So it's uh,
it is interesting. I know I don't chart that and
and uh I don't think it is it even is
something that's charted, But uh, I don't want whenever that happens,
(01:38:01):
and that's putting in the equation early in the week
is when you want to attack it.
Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:38:06):
Man, it's just I go back to, how are the
Chargers gonna stop or even slow down the Ravens offense,
because you look at the Ravens, they've scored thirty one
points in the last five games they've played, and then
you look there's no Mark Andrews, their stud tight end.
He's probably gone for the season unfortunately due to injury.
Odell Beckham juniors, they flowers, they're both questionable. They're nicked
(01:38:30):
up a bit. But again, against this Chargers defense, Ravens
might just lean into their running game more.
Speaker 5 (01:38:37):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
I don't see the Chargers stopping the Ravens enough unless
there's just some fluky stuff. There's some crazy turnovers. The
Ravens act like the Chiefs on Sunday Night. They drop
a bunch of passes or something. I just don't see
this Chargers defense doing enough.
Speaker 3 (01:38:56):
Well that's also fair, but the chart. But the Ravens
this year, I think I've lost three games when they've
been in ninety percent you know, win probability in the
fourth quarter. So like they've they've also had weird outcomes
this season. And that's why this game is like a
no wager for me. I don't I don't feel like
there's any edge, especially not now with the with the
number where it is. If you're taking the dog. I
(01:39:17):
don't know how.
Speaker 5 (01:39:18):
I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:39:19):
Again, the person I fade is on the Chargers, So
I took the Ravens just for fun. But I don't
feel like great about either side in this one.
Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
You know, when you're looking for an edge, some people
look at DVOA, I look at ILO. That's when I
lean in the Ilo.
Speaker 5 (01:39:37):
Fact.
Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
Yeah, I lean into those analytics. I loo with the
latest here.
Speaker 10 (01:39:42):
The latest involves potential analytics and influence on DVOA later today.
Because a short time ago, the Philadelphia Eagles downgraded offensive
tackle Lane Johnson to questionable for this afternoon's game, it'll
be a late game against the Buffalo Bills because of
a groin injury. Houston Texans running back Damian Pierce is
(01:40:02):
active for today's game against Jacksonville after missing three games
with an ankle injury. One other note, Texans quarterback c J.
Stroud was accidentally locked out of the Texans locker room
this morning. Wow, but thankfully he was able to get hit.
And I could think of a lot of players you
don't want to be able to access the locker room,
(01:40:23):
but c J. Stroud is not one of them. Giants
receiver Darius Slayton is active against the Patriots despite being
listed as doubtful because of a neck injury. NFL media
reports Mac Jones well started a quarterback for the Patriots,
but that Bailey Zappi is likely to be in the
mix as well. Former Patriot great Julian Edelman, by the way,
(01:40:45):
tweeted a short time ago and I quote it hurts
to say, but today a win equals a loss. We're
on to April twenty fifth, twenty twenty four unquote that,
of course, the date of the twenty twenty four NFL draft.
Ouch Multiple outlets report Raiders star pass rusher Max Crosby
(01:41:05):
plans to try to play today against the Chiefs despite
being listed as doubtful due to a knee injury. And
college football Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops announced overnight that
he is staying put after being linked to the opening
at Texas A and M. The Houston Chronicle reports that
Houston has fired head coach Dana Holgerson after five seasons.
The Indianapolis Star reports that Indiana has fired head coach
(01:41:28):
Tom Allen after seven seasons.
Speaker 2 (01:41:31):
Fellas all yours, thank you, I low it is Fox
Sports Radios countdown to Kickoff presented by Bett MGM. Monday
Night Football Tomorrow Night Bears at the Vikings. Vikings still
six and five, even though a tough loss last week
at Denver where they had a great chance to win
it costly fumble led to the Courtland Sutton touchdown. How
(01:41:54):
about Courtland Sutton five straight games with a touchdown there
for the Broncos. But the Vikings try to get back
on track and against the Bears they fared well five
and zero outright four and one against the spread since
twenty twenty one. Uh so you take that into account.
How about Justin fields? Justin Fields looked more like Justin
(01:42:15):
fields the dual threat guy last week against the Lions
eighteen rushes for one hundred and four yards. So that's
one of the biggest questions I have. How often is
Justin Fields running it against the Vikings whose defense has
been very good? But how much is Justin Fields tucking
it and running it against the Purple It's a big deal.
Speaker 3 (01:42:37):
Isn't that sort of their offense though, that's a big
part of how they.
Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Move the ball, huge part of the yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:42:42):
And so I feel like that's kind of a spot
that they sort of have to be running with him
to be competitive guys, who is the who's going to
be the in the in the playoffs for the six
and seven seed in the NFC Conference.
Speaker 5 (01:42:57):
Good question because.
Speaker 3 (01:42:59):
You know there's interesting numbers on on you know, where
you can find and then they're you know, they're not
always posted everywhere, but like to make the playoff type
of odds, and you know, there's you know, there's I
think some interesting you know, money that you can put
on teams to be basically the sixth and seventh seed
right now, you know, the the the Vikings. I don't
even have the number right now. I don't see a
(01:43:20):
Viking's number. But you know, like the Falcons are plus
one ninety nine to be in the playoffs. That are
they gonna you know, win today and kind of you know,
be the South winner. It's really interesting to see. You know,
Seattle is is plus one oh three for yes to
make the playoffs and they're right now the seventh seed.
There's it's a lot of interesting It's interesting to see
where these numbers are at for if you want to
(01:43:42):
take a future that's all I'm making the playoffs or not.
Speaker 2 (01:43:45):
It's crazy where the Falcons if they win today, they're
leading the division against the Saints, so yeah, and they
don't face a team that has a winning record from
here on out, at least the records that that are
today subject to change. But yeah, yeah, man, it's it's
one of it's going to be a gross team, probably
sneaking in there to the seven seed, right.
Speaker 4 (01:44:06):
Yeah, going back to look at this game tomorrow night,
Vikings have kind of owned them the last time. I'm
not really one that goes back over years, like I
said earlier about trends, but they've won five in a
row against the Bears, and they've they've looked pretty good.
You know that that little stutter stuff they took for st.
Speaker 5 (01:44:24):
Denver.
Speaker 4 (01:44:24):
Before that, we were talking about how good they were playing,
so I think they probably bounced back here. The Bears
have looked you know, the Bears have definitely improved. Even
though they're like three and I think the record stree
and eight, they've actually improved with justin fields. But he's
going to have to use his arm in order to
win this game time too.
Speaker 3 (01:44:43):
I have Bears under seven and a half wins, so
I'm pretty happy.
Speaker 5 (01:44:47):
That's a sick number.
Speaker 3 (01:44:48):
Yeah, Jesus preseason seven and half wins. Yeah and a half.
You believe that.
Speaker 4 (01:44:53):
You can't you can't lose that you I usually never
call things a lock, and I'm not the Joe and
Your bets. I won't, but it's pretty close to that.
Speaker 5 (01:45:01):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:45:02):
Yeah, there's under seven and a half plus one hundred.
Speaker 5 (01:45:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:45:05):
By the way, what was it for the Patriots? It
was like either six and a half or seven.
Speaker 3 (01:45:09):
Yeah, I had it over and I'm gonna lose that one.
I'd say it was six and a half this.
Speaker 2 (01:45:14):
Year six and seven.
Speaker 3 (01:45:17):
I took over seven. I took over seven and half
plus one sixteen. Thinking they actually thought they might be
in the playoffs.
Speaker 9 (01:45:22):
I was.
Speaker 3 (01:45:22):
I'm very that's our team. I got very wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
At the beginning of the season. You're like, Belicheck, you
got it rolling eight and nine? Sure you know, and
they're not even close. That's crazy, man. How about how
about line movement going on here before kickoff? Where you
look at this, uh yeah, Jacksonville. There's a little bit
of a swing right there.
Speaker 5 (01:45:45):
Houston money coming in.
Speaker 2 (01:45:47):
Yeah yeah, yeah, they're a little bit of Houston money.
That's unfortunate because I'm eyeing the Texans for potentially crack challenge, right,
they're also man more money on the Patriots more they're
minus four and a half.
Speaker 4 (01:46:01):
Now, unbelievable. I expected buy back. You're right, Brian, I don't.
I can't believe this line. No, there's no takers on
the Giants plus four and a half. You're absolutely right.
That kind of surprised me. It's only New England money,
New England money line. If anything, there's some ugly teams
moving around here, Like we said, Carolina taking some money.
Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
Now all over the place. Wow they are it's still
three and a half, but the Jews it's fifteen. And
on the Panthers right now, bet mgm. Yeah, how about
the totals any totals that have fluctuated? They caught your eye.
Speaker 4 (01:46:37):
Things haven't really moved that much today totals wise. Uh,
just some This is just some buyback for people that
went over Pittsburgh. Now you see some under money coming in.
I really think it's just buy back there. The over
money that came in was on the New England and
the Giants earlier over it was thirty four thirty five,
and then it went up today to thirty six thirty
(01:46:58):
six and a half's even on the screen.
Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
I think about that.
Speaker 5 (01:47:01):
Yeah, why how are they even going to score those teams? Jesus?
Speaker 2 (01:47:04):
But what is it? What is it just like a
trendy type thing or is it? I think it's gonna
be Mac Jones and Bailey Zappy.
Speaker 4 (01:47:12):
Let's pound the over. Like, these totals this year are
just so low. We're lining games. The bookmakers lining games
have four points lower than they were just last year
on an average, So there has to be some revert
to the mean here. When you guys both mentioned earlier,
I mean, look at these totals. It's thirty five, thirty six,
(01:47:33):
thirty six, thirty seven, thirty seven.
Speaker 5 (01:47:36):
And a half. This is unusual for the NFL.
Speaker 4 (01:47:39):
We were up in the fifties the last two years
on a lot of totals. So it's an interesting trend
that keeps on happening. And by the way, the unders
keep coming out, so they're gonna make these totals lower
and lower as we reach the end of the season. Here,
we're already in week twelve, so we have, like, you know,
six more weeks of totals. We'll see what happens here.
Speaker 2 (01:47:59):
How about this for fun, Let's go hurry up offense.
We'll go with the lowest totals and we'll just guess
how many of them are going under. Okay, okay, so
we got Steelers Begles, that's thirty six and a half.
I'm going under in that one. You guys go.
Speaker 5 (01:48:16):
Under too, Yeah, crack, I would lean with you. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:48:21):
Panthers Titans thirty six? What you like their friends?
Speaker 5 (01:48:26):
God, I hate to say I lean under two again,
I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:48:29):
Under, I could I could see the Times doing a
little damage though.
Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
Yeah, well levis just unleashing the fury.
Speaker 3 (01:48:35):
Yes, I could see that.
Speaker 2 (01:48:36):
Okay. How about Patriots Giants thirty six? Also, I'm on.
Speaker 5 (01:48:40):
The I like you over there? You do? No?
Speaker 4 (01:48:43):
Yeah, I mean I didn't bet it, but I lean
I lean over, lean over, I lean over there.
Speaker 2 (01:48:48):
Yeah, okay. How about uh Cleveland Denver? I love the
under In that under, i'd say, yeah, So of these
four that are in the thirties, we're saying, what three
and one to the under? Maybe roughly around there, I'll
probably go four. Jesus, that's something to keep your eye on, though.
Speaker 5 (01:49:09):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:49:09):
I love stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (01:49:10):
I haven't had one of those weather games either yet
this year where really affected.
Speaker 5 (01:49:14):
It snow driving winds.
Speaker 4 (01:49:16):
Right, we haven't had one of those beautiful games that
we used to get years ago when we were kids
and watching.
Speaker 5 (01:49:21):
So the weather has it affected these.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
It wasn't windy last night, but there was a lot
of snow in the Iowa state, Kansas state.
Speaker 3 (01:49:29):
Cool.
Speaker 5 (01:49:30):
Oh, I've seen that.
Speaker 2 (01:49:30):
It looks so cool, and they just kept scoring at will.
It was these long touchdown runs, long touchdown passes.
Speaker 5 (01:49:38):
We were even like forty degrees here last night. I
was freezing. Vegas gets snow.
Speaker 4 (01:49:42):
People don't realize that we got more snow than Jersey
last year in Vegas. So we had four different snowstorms.
A buddy of mine just text me from the best
place out in La five seventy klac beautiful del maar weather.
I just missed that beautiful beach weather. And hopefully we
get that, you know, sooner than later. But it is, uh,
(01:50:04):
it's a little blustery and across the nation and a
lot of these places.
Speaker 2 (01:50:08):
Yeah, there's snow over here in East Peoria today, it's
not at all.
Speaker 4 (01:50:16):
I want to get one of those like two feet snowstorms.
Speaker 5 (01:50:19):
I love them.
Speaker 2 (01:50:20):
I don't know why where are we taking a road
trip to somewhere warm. Huh, yeah, when's that gonna happen?
Speaker 5 (01:50:25):
Here?
Speaker 4 (01:50:25):
You can go to Charlie Let's yeah, one knows where
that's from. Yeah, oh god.
Speaker 2 (01:50:30):
All right, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian
no coming up next the Moment of Truth, the Crack
Challenge five picks against the spread. As we're what eighteen
minutes from kickoff right now? It is not easy, now, Seth,
you and I we dare to be bold. Okay, we
(01:50:52):
get the worst of the lines and we try to
make the best of them. Next and Crack will have
his best wager of the day. That's on the way.
It is Fox Orts Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bet MGM. We are eleven minutes away from kickoff. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM.
Crops to the crew, Bo Benz and our trusted producer
(01:51:13):
Chris Purfet, Technical producer Isaac Lohenkron the one and only
on the updates coming up Red Zone Radio Steve Hartman,
Rich Ornberger. Make sure you keep it locked here on
Fox Sports Radio as the games begin. All right, the
moment of truth. Let's do it, five games against the spread.
Speaker 1 (01:51:36):
We call it all it the Crack Challenge.
Speaker 2 (01:51:40):
All right, the Crack Challenge. By the way, Crack. I
was thinking about this. If we go five and oh
in a week, do we get some type of reward?
Speaker 4 (01:51:49):
You gonna there should be no you might have yeah
a number of times to our records.
Speaker 2 (01:51:59):
Now, So Jeff, you are nine games over five hundred,
you're twenty nine, twenty and one. Took I am inching back.
I had a bad week ten a couple of weeks ago.
So I am two games under. I'm twenty three, twenty
five and two. That just won't do. Won't do? Looking
for four and one? Five and oh plus?
Speaker 5 (01:52:18):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:52:19):
Some type of cash reward here from you, cracker. I
don't know all expenses, A week long trip somewhere exotic.
Speaker 4 (01:52:27):
We can give you a room and like Jerry's nugget
in Vegas.
Speaker 5 (01:52:30):
Probably never ever heard of that, but yeah, right down down.
Speaker 2 (01:52:35):
The verry motivated now to go five and zero. All right, Jeff,
let's go, man, what do you think?
Speaker 3 (01:52:41):
All right? So I already have I'm I'm I already
have the Niners in the books for me, so I
can't pick them obviously in this game today. All right,
Texans plus one, Bengals plus a point and a half,
and give me the Browns plus a point a half
as well. Okay, jeez, I have the Rams plus one
(01:53:05):
and a half minus three. Excuse I don't look anything
else though, really, all right, Rams minus three, I mean,
what a terrible, terrible number, just atrocious. And then the
other one that I think I'm gonna go with is
Tennessee minus three and a half. Okay, the Panthers just stink,
(01:53:25):
They're really bad, the coach might get fired soon. I'll
take Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (01:53:31):
Here, Okay, I'm going Pittsburgh's going Steelers. Make sure it's
the latest line. Minus a point and a half. I
will take the Texans. Take the Texans plus one. Give
me Atlanta. I know you might not love this one, Jeff,
but give me a plus point and a half. I'd
like it to be a little bit more on this
(01:53:51):
and plus two is over there, bet MGM plus point
and a half. They're gonna run it. Give me the
Ravens minus three. I just don't see the Chargers defense
doing enough and last pick. You know what I'm doing
it give me the Giants plus four and a half.
Speaker 5 (01:54:07):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (01:54:08):
I know it's Belichick against the rookie quarterback, but the
Patriots are freaking awful. And I get over a touchdown,
I'll take it. I'll shrug my shoulders and take it,
maybe sheepishly. But let's roll with Tommy DeVito today, shall we?
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1 (01:54:30):
Rapid fire.
Speaker 2 (01:54:32):
Okay, crack, We'll start with you.
Speaker 5 (01:54:34):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
Do you like today?
Speaker 4 (01:54:35):
Going back to prop Land hopefully Mommy made plenty of
Christmas cookies for Danny DeVito over here and weighs him
down under on his passing yards going to a prop
here under one seventy five and a half.
Speaker 5 (01:54:49):
Tommy DeVito, Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:54:51):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:54:53):
You love those underpassing props, Jeff.
Speaker 3 (01:54:56):
Your language a good place to be, man. I just
I think like you look, you know, like I'm I'm
not going to watch much of that game, and then
I'll look up and be like, oh, Tommy Divido has
ninety yards before that switch. Give me that, give me that,
give me that. So what do you do?
Speaker 5 (01:55:11):
What do you want?
Speaker 3 (01:55:13):
What do you got?
Speaker 5 (01:55:14):
Brian?
Speaker 2 (01:55:14):
I got under I'm on the Browns Broncos under thirty.
Speaker 3 (01:55:19):
You always good for like a good a good, like
a good over proper you can't you said you get
Kamara over right?
Speaker 5 (01:55:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:55:24):
Like Camara to get to at least five catches today.
Speaker 3 (01:55:27):
Okay, I like that. I like that a lot there,
all right. I don't know anything else. I think we
get less games today. There's like there's less to give out,
like trying. I'm trying to finding more wagers. I like it.
I am kind of kind of tapped out. Stafford.
Speaker 2 (01:55:42):
Are you going to go back to the well on
the Stafford one?
Speaker 3 (01:55:45):
I just don't see it has to be it's a
good pass rush, right, like a good pass rush. Maybe
there's like a a Miles Garrett sack prop to to
put in there over sacks something like that against the
Broncos offensive line. Interesting to throw in there. So there's
other ways to play some of these games.
Speaker 2 (01:56:04):
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1 (01:56:07):
This is the best.
Speaker 2 (01:56:09):
Player of the day, man, all right, crack, what is it?
Speaker 5 (01:56:13):
Man? Let's go with a teaser.
Speaker 4 (01:56:15):
I want to take Atlanta up to plus eight, and
I want to take Cleveland up from from one and
a half to seven and a half. There's a six
point teaser for you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:56:24):
Okay, very nice, good stuff today, Guys, everybody enjoyed the
