This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Matt mg App.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Now we're live from your tailgame.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Here's Brian no Hier, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports
handicapper from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Oh, good morning. What's going on everybody? Week thirteen in
the NFL all side all kinds of stuff to get to.
We got the Niners and the Eagles, huge matchup. We
got Joe Flacco in action against the La Rams. We'll
get to all that good stuff, but good morning to

(01:07):
you two. And this college football playoff race is crazy
over here. The four teams that you think should get
in the four teams that you think will get in
might be two different conversations, but we'll dive into that.
How are you guys doing this morning, huh good?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
You know, I wish Oregon would have won, that would
be nice on fire and I. But otherwise I'm doing good,
you know, I mean the debate this morning on college football,
it's this is one of the reasons why, guys, I'm
not a fan of the twelve team playoffs is next
year at this time, Yep, we're doing this show. We're
debating which three loss team should be in. We're debating,

(01:49):
you know which, Like, it's just not as much fun.
It's way more fun to do this, to debate, you know,
the fourth and fiftheam deserving best team? How do you
judge wins and losses? How do you judge early season
games between Texas and Alabama? Like this is even really
to to the extent, you know, there's a you know,
there's even a you know, a debate on on you know,
whether or not you know L the L s U

(02:10):
win my Florida State matters as much. It's not as
much fun doing it the other way around. Well, you
have to debate like the three best three loss team.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Brian, I don't want to do that, I know, I know.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
I send you guys some future at the beginning of
the season back in late August. I don't know, actually
September maybe the first week of September.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Is that the last time you sent us anything there?

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Correct? Yeah, something's going on with that that that uh
that that that committee there of all of our guys here,
I don't know what happened.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Something something fell.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
I have to find out what what what happened there?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, you left us.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Chacking the chain, but no, that those those futures really
did unbelievable God, you know there. I hated to say it,
and I didn't want to say it at all to
us during the game, but I really needed Washington and
and you know that was a five to one underdog
that I had earlier in the season. I know Jeff's orgon.

(03:07):
I didn't want to, you know, and you never want
to rub salt in the wound of somebody, you know.

Speaker 6 (03:11):
It just that's not what I do. It's just not
what I do with no matter what.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
You know, there's other people that they'll know you're on
something and they have the other side and they'll rub
it in your face. I just I can't even talk
to people like that. Now.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
That's the thing too, is sometimes I just want to
talk ball, and I'm worried it's gonna sound like I'm
rubbing it in, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Oregon loss, man, it's just not what I do. It
is such as life, you know. We look, it does
feel like the playoff consisting of like Michigan, Florida State,
Georgia and Alabama would be best or Michigan, Florida State,
Texas and someone just as long as Washington of the
playoff feels like the best way to move forward with
all this.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
But sadly that's not gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Like this is the reason why I was so excited
for Oregon, who certainly fell flat that game. We lost
by three. I mean people talk about like we lost
by one hundred. We were down twenty to three, we
were leaving the fourth quarter. Ye know, It's not like
it was a game where we could.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
They were point favorites, and the books we all had
one way action.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
So the book took a bath on that one. I
read some of the book. The best result for the
book would have been an Oregon win and a Washington cover. Yeah,
because that's exactly right. A lot of Washington money line
wagers that's correct.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
But you might get there. By the way, it looked
like it didn't happen, and it.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Just didn't happen. So here's the thing about it is
the reason why I was so excited for Organ to
make a playoff is in a four team format, which
is what we have for one more season, it's much
easier to win a championship for Oregon than it is
in a twelve team format, at least for now. You know,
twelve to two format favors teams with more talent, it
absolutely does, and Organ's talented, but still building up the
roster right and in a fourteen playoff, like think about

(04:47):
Washington right now, Washington will be probably two. Potentially they
played Florida State, who has no quarterback. We might win
that Florida State game twenty to fourteen. Then you just
need one more win against Michigan, Texas, maybe it's Alabama,
like you need one more win, that's it. In a
four team playoff to be a twelveteen playoff, you would

(05:07):
need to win three games against Alabama, Florida State, Michigan,
and it turns into far more of a participation tournament
where oh, we were the ten seed, we made the playoff,
and you get smashed by Ohio State, you know what
I mean. And to me, that's not the purpose. This
is the first year of the ten years or the
ten year playoff that you know that we've had. This

(05:29):
be a problem most years figures itself out. We are
we're debating what one loss team to put in. We're
debating it, but we're not debating a conference champion who
is thirteen oh, I can tend Florida State should be in.
I think winning you know, winning your conference being thirteen oh,
I don't care how you do it, Brian, you should
be in the playoff. And then Texas beat Alabama. Like

(05:51):
do I think Alabama's better than Texas right now? Absolutely?
I think I think Alabama would be a favorite. I
think they would beat Texas again. But if you discredit
a non conference in two and any week, then you're
basically validating playing the games, Like why do you play
the games? What's the point of playing games if you're
not going to count the results when it matters the most.
And Texas Alabama have played a series they it's fantastic

(06:14):
for the sport and they should reward them for playing
that guys, and you can only reward them for playing
those games if you actually take any consideration, and they've
been very honest about it. They said, head to head
it will matter.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Well, I think a couple of things. Your first point
talking about it's a tougher path next year, going forward
with twelve teams. I think about this from Notre Dame's perspective.
Twenty twelve, they were in the BCS Championship against Alabama.
It's one game. Anything can happen in work game. Now,
they lost by four touchdowns, but they were in the
playoff two times in this CFP era, So you got

(06:49):
to go through both Clemson and Alabama. Good luck. They
couldn't even pass the first test, right, So when it
gets to twelve, it is it's going to be a
lot more difficult. What stands out to me yesterday and
what we're going to lose going forward leading up to
the playoff. The playoff with twelve team is going to
be really interesting. But leading up to it, how high
the stakes were, how great the stakes were this weekend?

(07:12):
Think about your ducks, Jeff, where no heisman, no playoff birth,
a legitimate chance to win it all all gone because
of a loss against Washington. Think about Georgia twenty nine
game winning streak, back to back national champions You lose
the SEC championship game to Alabama, you're out. Good luck

(07:34):
in your New Year's six Bowl game. Like that's how
high the stakes were this weekend.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Huh yeah. And you know the Oregon loss is bad
because we lost her rival, but it's worse because they're
in the playoff and we're not. And now Oregon will
still be in the playoff. You know, we'd be a
ten seed or something we've be in the playoff and
the lost one stings with that. Alabama Georgia gain to
your point, like that was like felt like an elimination
game last night, right, George is probably out now. It
warms my heart, by the way, how many see people

(08:00):
are just losing their minds this morning. For so many
years they oh, you playing, You know you're in a
bad conference. Our conference is better than yours. We should
have more teams than the playoff than you should. And
this year like they're likely to be without. I mean,
right now, the odds in on sports books are telling
you that Alabama's out of the playoff and it would

(08:21):
be a Florida State, Texas, Washington, Michigan and I just
love I love it, man, I love it so much
the best.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
You know me being a sports better, I don't care
who plays. Just give me the lineup and I want
to see who plays each other. But when is this
actually determined? Because everyone is talking about this, including like.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
My right hand stand buddy Noondy.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Said to me personally, I think the other best two
teams right now are SEC teams Alabama and Georgia. But
how can you leave out thirteen to know Florida State?
So and then here's the current ods. But so so
it's determined by noon today, So we'll we'll know here
you're telling me.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
It'll we'll go, Well, yeah, we'll be on I mean,
we're not going to probably pipe in the feed, but yeah,
it'll I do that another show we pipe in the feed,
but we have rights to that.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
So yeah, we're not gonna We're not gonna pipe in
Sports Center on this show.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Is that we're not.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
I've done that before another on my college stuff, and
like it's it's always awkward because the audio doesn't sing.
Sometimes it's just a disaster. But yeah, I know we're
we'll know today and they get typically they get right
to it, like they don't. They don't delay, They just
kind of like get right into it. And I thought
about this. Take. Imagine being the graphics producer right in

(09:37):
in in the production office in Bristol today and you
get that email from the CFP committee that tells you
the top four teams how much money you can make
if you decided to go to your sportsbook app of
choice at MGM, of course, and wager on Florida State
or Alabama making the playoff based off the knowledge you

(09:58):
already know. Now it doesn't haventhing that happens, but in
the limits are solo anyways, that doesn't really affect the
LA not life changing money, but in flores State's such
a heavy favorite right now. But like that power, guys,
the power of knowing not before anyone else does, I
think then and then the host probably knows too, right,
that's it. I think I would imagine the host And

(10:18):
because the reaction from the people on set it seems
pretty genuine. So the power of that, Brian, the power
of knowing. We make yourself a little bit of coin.
What all limits on those bets you think crack like
to Flordate to make the playoff? What's a limit? On that.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
You know, probably more than you think, because uh, this
is a big talked about thing here. I'm reading I
was reading Twitter this morely. I'm not a guy that
normally has time to actually read Twitter, but this is
like the biggest talk on Twitter is this particular thing here.
So I am sure the books are taking some pretty

(10:51):
good money on this kind of interesting, but I thought
it would be more set than than I don't know
what I say, a controversy, but everyone's talking about these
other spots like, well, how do you do this?

Speaker 6 (11:04):
How do you know?

Speaker 5 (11:04):
How do you leave them out? And you know, like
you said, the SEC it's funny because that's what some
some people are are crying about.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
So well, that's the thing, man is. Look, let's make
this as simple as possible. Who's going to get in.
We know that Michigan and Washington are in. Yep, so
it's really three teams for two spots.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
It's Florida State, it's Texas, it's Alabama. I think Texas
is in for sure. They beat Alabama head to head.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
They're in.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
I think it comes down to the committee choosing either
Florida State or Alabama, and I would choose Florida State.
I don't know what they're going to choose or who
they're going to choose.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
Right, what do you what are you down to? That
fourth one? What do you? What are you down to?

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I'm of the opinion that I I think Floriestate should
be in. You go thirteen and oh and you win
your conference again, you're going to be Michigan for State.
I think the key floorsted at four would be my
guess you know you would what that's fourteen points total
thirty five and a half. I mean, that's gonna be like, well,

(12:10):
twenty Michigan last night was favorite. He went off to
twenty one and a half. Yep, they covered and the
underhit of thirty five.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
It's insane hard to do.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
They covered. They covered the twenty one, twenty six nothing
and the under ease with ease. They had late touchdown
to cover that game, but with ease the underhitt in
that game, which is just incredible. So look, they're gonna
be fourteen point dogs, I think right something around there
with no with no healthy quarterback, even though if Tate
Roademaker plays.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
But that's are you pretty sure that's gonna be the case?
Because I could see the committee saying, look at Alabama,
it's Nick Saban, we know their pet agree, well, it's
gonna be more interesting with them compared to a backup quarterback.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
The question becomes is it the best for? Because if
you if you argue best for, then you make a
case for Georgia and even Ohio State to be in
you you can blend the butt the both by saying
best and deserving right, which would be Alabama at four,
Texas at three. I can make the case that the
Alabama should be three. I mean I think that Alabama
was really good, and Washington and Michigan and leave Florida

(13:12):
State out. And look, the committee makes up as it goes.
They've said they're taking the best. They haven't. They say
a most deserving is not a criteria they use. They
never said that. And Florida State right now is not
one of the best four teams. And that's because their
quarterback is hurt. And that's such as life. I had
a season in two thousand and seven on Oregon. We
were number two in the country. A quarterback got hurt.

(13:33):
Our season went down to ship It is what it
is like you you can't, it just is what it is.
So I even could say, I don't know if I
got a hit the button there on that one, and
uh I uh.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Is this.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
That year and a half never said a bad word
all of a sudden.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
Well the thing about it, do other radio you can
get away with. I always forget what was words like
can I cannot say on the show. So it just
went down, It went down the drain. It was not
a not a good end of the season. Like that's
that's like such as life, man Like. I don't so
I get either argument. I totally do, but I would

(14:16):
lean I'd go Michigan, Washington, Texas, Florida State. That's the
four i'd put in.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yeah, I've got the same four. I just will see
if the committee if they go Bama roll Tad or
if they.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Go floor so does Vegas, though Vegas has Florida State
is a favorite over Alabama.

All right, let's do this, follow the money, real good money, all.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Right, following the money with our main man, Christian Sipollini,
BETMGM Trading Manager. Good morning, Christian. Let's just get right
to it. We got the Eagles hosting the Niners, huge matchup,
a lot of buy in on the Niner side heading
into this one right now.

Speaker 8 (17:45):
Yeah, this is this is the one of the week
where it's got me. I disagree with the line as
me scratching my head of it, but this is where
the money said worth two to two one on the
money right now in the forty nine ers, even at
minus three on the road against the ten and one team.
But yeah, money coming in on the forty nine ers.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Can you explain the process of making this line, or
really any line. I feel like a lot of people
looked at this same sort of you did this week
and was like whoa, oh, okay, what's happening here?

Speaker 8 (18:13):
This is one is a bad example to use, because
I still have this rated as Eagles minus one one
minus one minus two something like that. Around there. These
teams are pretty closely rated. I'd imagine a lot of
this is coming from the spot that they're in, playing
a bunch of good teams in a row here, and
then forty nine ers coming off a little bit of rest.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
I'm not sure what other people's models are looking like,
but it's clearly got the forty nine ers is a
decent favorite. I mean, this is kind of telling you
that the forty nine ers would be close to a
touchdown favorite if this was in San fran which I
don't personally agree with. That's that's where the market is,
and that's where the money is.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
I follow a couple of the syndicates.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Actually, right early in the week, I was given san
Fran minus. Wanted a core or if I can get
that in, and sure enough I did get that in.
You know, but you look at it now. When I
went to I actually see minus three minus twenties out there. God,
so there there's some there's a lot of money there.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
I'm looking to.

Speaker 5 (19:13):
I'm looking that I usually don't middle games, but now
that I see the position the books are in. I
know there a lot of them are in that same
position as you. So I'm probably gonna get off some
of this, but I'm still gonna have a position on
San Fran. I just feel that San fran is probably
one of the you know, the stronger, if the strongest
team in football, and some of Philadelphia wins. I don't know,

(19:34):
they might they might be the biggest fagazy ten and
one team out there. I mean, you know that I've
seen in a long time Philly. Probably they probably should Yeah,
right right right there, you exactly. But all right, let's
go want to other games? Christian, what give us where
the money is? What do you guys? Uh? What will
you guys need today at kick come kickoff? I know

(19:55):
we still have almost three hours, but to the early
set of games right now?

Speaker 6 (20:00):
What's it look like? What do you guys need?

Speaker 8 (20:02):
So that forty nine ers one is going to be
a big one, because that's probably gonna be our biggest
handle game of the day besides Sunday night game. Outside
of that, we have a couple of games that have
a lot of liability on one side. I'll start with
the Lions. We're about eighty five ninety percent of the
money coming in on the Lions, We're not getting much
safe money and I don't think it's going to come in.
Also on that the Dolphins, we're about seventy five percent
of the money coming there as well. So and then

(20:26):
and the Falcons too. We're just not going to write
very many Jets bets anytime soon.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Who would you say is the grossest bet of Week thirteen? Right? Like,
think about where the money isn't and where people are
not willing to go. Who would you say that team is.

Speaker 8 (20:43):
There's two of them. They're similar to the Jets that
I just mentioned there. We're going to really struggle to
write very many bets on them. And then the Patriots
too as well. We're getting about seventy five percent of
the Chargers money coming in, and I don't imagine we're
going to get much of the public money on the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
Another feels like the Panthers. That number was five earlier
in the week, it's now three, maybe going to three
and a half back to three and a half soon.
I there's the coach bum thing is not real, Like
I said, that doesn't actually over time win you any money,
but it does feel like there's there's money on the
Panthers today.

Speaker 8 (21:19):
Yeah, throughout the week, Like you mentioned, that line's been
headed towards the Panthers, so we've taken sharp money throughout
the week on them. I understand the coach bump when
it's a play calling coach was making very bad calls
and holding the team back. I don't necessarily agree that
that was the case with the Panthers. I feel like
this is more of a team that was just underperforming

(21:40):
in general. So I'm with you. I don't think there's
much of a coach bump that's going to help here.
I think the public is still going to come in
a bit on the Bucks, but we did get sharp
actions to the week on the Panthers.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Do you think you're going to need both dogs? I'm
sure on the Sunday Monday night games. I can't believe
this Jacksonville game was hit again. I expected some money
the other way. You know, if you guys are a
ten I mean Jacksonville ten points over Cincinnati, I anderstond
a situation. But I just didn't see this coming low
total game here. Do you see yourself needing both dogs

(22:12):
in those games?

Speaker 6 (22:13):
By kickoff yeah, I can.

Speaker 8 (22:16):
We get most of our money closer to kickoff, but
I can tell you right now it's already seventy five
seventy percent on the Chiefs and also on the same
side of the Jaguars. We'll probably struggle to write very
many Packers. Well, I think we'll get some Packers bets,
but we'll definitely struggle to get some Bangles bets. So
we'll definitely need at least one of those dogs in
the primetime game to help us this week.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
By the way, Christian Crack has said, and I love
this line by him, God protects the.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
Books without of that, right, Oh what out of doubt?

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Is this the week that God protects the public? Is
that we're going to see here? Christian?

Speaker 8 (22:50):
Well, the public had a very good week last week
until that Monday night game, so I mean I think
it was a twelve and four favorite week, So they
did have it last week. So the books open that
we get it back.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
How'd you guys do in that Oregon game? Actually, because
we talked about I figured the books would need Washington,
but you probably didn't need Washington to win out round,
like Jeff said, Is that correct?

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (23:12):
Yeah, it was kind of a little bit mixed because
they ended up kind of a decent number on that
money line. Yeah, we did, okay, but you're right, it
would have been better just Oregon win, not covered like three.

Speaker 6 (23:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
The last game I'm gonna ask you about, Joe Flacco
was announced as the Brown starter. The number did not
move at all. Maybe a slight tick to the rams
at four, butt back to three and a half. Now,
was that sort of baked in? That Flacco my starter
does not really not move the market at all.

Speaker 8 (23:42):
Yeah, a little bit baked in. It didn't seem like
thetr was going to play, but it just was more
baked in than it kind of sent. To this point,
their three quarterbacks are about the same and most of
their wins come on the hands of their defense being
so good. So that's kind of where it's where it
stands with that three similar quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Last thing for me, you know, have you seen a
revert or a bounce back here where the public may
be betting some overs? We know the unders have been
coming out all year in general, especially the primetime games.
Are we seeing your betting crowd Are they actually starting
to bet the overs where you're gonna need the unders
or is it still the same trend that people betting unders?

Speaker 8 (24:22):
I mean, the Sharks are still taking me under. There's
a few games and teams where we'll get a lot
more under, so like when the Patriots or the Jets play,
and even the Browns will end up getting unders on there.
But for the most part, still in general, the public
still is gonna end up taking the overs.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
Gotcha all right?

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Christian, Well, hey man, thanks for the time. Enjoy Week thirteen.
We'll catch you soon.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Thank you. There. He is Christian Sippolini from betmgm all.
I want to toss it over to our main man,
Martin Weiss with us this morning to spin us around.
And Martin, I'm just curious, man. We're waiting for the
final four teams to be announce. Do you have a
favorite college football team?

Speaker 9 (25:02):
Absolutely, University of Michigan or I Sally May reminds me
every month that that's my favorite football team.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
That's right, Okay, all right, nights they might be. They
might be the one seed. Right, you're excited about that.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
You have to be.

Speaker 9 (25:16):
I don't understand why they wouldn't be. I'm seeing all
this conversation, like I don't I mean, I get that.
I know I'm talking to Jeff Schwartz Pac twelve believer,
but I just I don't know why Michigan, after running
through the Big Ten the way they did, wouldn't be
the one seat outside of you know, the sign stealing stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Honest, I think I think the question is whether or
not they get Florida State or Texas, right, because you
once in given Texas or Alabama, and then what does
it matter? You're the one seed? Yeah, you're you know
you'd rather play Florida State. I think either team would.
To me, the seed doesn't matter, it matters where they
sort of put Florida State. I'm right with you.

Speaker 9 (25:48):
I mean, I know, I kind of think Florida State
might get the shaft after Jordan Travis got hurt. But
you know, as a Michigan fan, hey, they won thirteen
games for them. Man Colts running back down to the tailor,
he won't be in. He's expected to miss three to
five weeks recovering from that torn U c allen his thumb.
Chris Godwin, if he feels okay in pregame warm ups,

(26:09):
will be a go.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
He's dealing with the neck injury in that same game.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
J C.

Speaker 9 (26:13):
Horn and Jeremy Chin defensive backs will be playing. They
were on injury reserve just activated this week. Texans wide
receivers Noah Brown and Tank Dell were questionable. Noah Brown
what they need, Dell with a calf Both expected to
play versus Denver Trey McBride has a groin injury.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
Marquise Brown with the heel.

Speaker 9 (26:29):
They're both expected to play for the Cardinals against the Steelers.
Wide receiver Chris o'lave for New Orleans. He had a concussion.
He's expected to play after clearing protocol. Who's not Alex Angeloney,
linebacker for the Lions. He hurt his hand on Thanksgiving Day.
Chiefs will be without running back Jack McKinnon today against
the Packers with a groin injury. Brown to elevate quarterback
Joe Flacco. He gets the start against the Rams. Chargers

(26:50):
wide receiver Keenan Allen league leader and catches this season.
He practiced on Friday, looking like he'll be good to go,
fighting through a quad against the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
Per the Athletics.

Speaker 6 (26:59):
Diana.

Speaker 9 (27:00):
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants to see the push push
removed from the game this season. NFL Networks ian Rappaport
is reporting that Aaron Rodgers the latest chapter in this saga.
He won't return from his achilles injury for a few
meaningless games. In other words, water is wet and per
Adam schefter Mac Jones has been benched. In New England,

(27:22):
Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappi is expected to start Sunday versus
the Chargers. That means, guys, that Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields,
the only two quarterbacks from the five picked in the
first round of the twenty twenty one draft, keep to
starting jobs. Mac Jones benched, Zack Wilson benched several times,
and Trey Lance traded to the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Back to you, guys, man, good stuff, good stuff. It
is Fox Sports Radio's Camp Down to kick Off, presented
by Bett mgm. Let's start our attention, guys to the
Dolphins taking on the Washington Commanders today. Big points spread
or talking about nine and a half right now, you're
starting to see some ten. So this is an inflated line,

(28:03):
There's no doubt about it. And it's funny too, because look, man,
before we do the show. In an NFL Sunday I
read a ton of stuff throughout the week, and one
of the things that keeps popping up Washington fired their
defensive coordinator Jack del Rio. And it might just be
like a little sentence here or there, but they're like, yeah,
they might get a shot in the arm with no

(28:23):
more del Rio. Right. It's like, look, man, just because
you fire a coach doesn't mean you're gonna be any better.
They've got the worst pass defense in the NFL. I
don't know what Washington's gonna do with after trading both
Chase Young and Montes Sweat. I don't know what you're
gonna do to slow down Tua in the Dolphins when

(28:45):
you've got the worst pass defense in the NFL. It's
just funny how sometimes you think it's a knee jerk. Oh,
they fired this guy, They're gonna be better, not necessarily.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Tarreikill over one hundred and one point five receiving yards
today is a great wager opinion. I know it might
seem a little a little too obvious because of you know,
the Washington pass defense, but they have no pass rush.
They trade their best pass rushes way and you look
at Montes Sweat and while the Bears aren't winning games.
He is hitting the quarterback a lot like it is hard.

(29:16):
So I know this number is high. I get that,
but I certainly think that this is a spot that
you sort of want to take Tyreek Hill in this situation,
it just feels like a spot where he's gonna go off.
I don't know how else to put it. You know,
more than more than that.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
Uh, and you know it's Is it unusual, guys? You
would Jeff, obviously this would be a more of a
question for you. Is it unusual for the head coach
to take over del Rio's calling?

Speaker 4 (29:46):
You know, no, no, no, because I mean, like in
a situation, but when coaches get fired like that and
you're you know, if you're the if you fire an
OC and you're the offensive coach, you're you're the you know,
you call the plays as a head coach, now vice versa.
On on defense, that makes.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
Sense, Yeah, I know, on all offense.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
I just didn't know if that happens defensively sometimes. You know,
del Rio was a he was a head coach in
the NFL too, So it's an interesting situation when you
when that happens, like Brian said, so, yeah, it's one
of those deals too, like a nine said, you're right,
A couple of nine and a half's out there now.
It's it's heading towards ten. Listen again, I know it's ugly.

(30:28):
I will bite if it gets the ten.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
So yeah, just waiting for the ten right there. I
don't know if it's uh. We've seen a couple of coaches.
Think about the Raiders, right Antonio Pierce went in there,
initially won a couple of games. Think about the Steelers.
They fired their offensive coordinator Matt Canada then gained four
hundred yards last week for the first time in fifty
nine games, which is insane. So maybe that explains this

(30:52):
thought of, hey, you fire a coach, it's gonna be better.
I don't know that it's gonna be great for Carolina
after firing Frank Reich. I don't know it's gonna be
great for Walker Shington after firing Jack del Rio. But
we'll see how today goes. By the way blast from
the past. So the Dolphins. Their edge rusher Jalen Phillips
lost for the season torn achilles. Awful, big loss for

(31:13):
the Dolphins. The Dolphins signed Jason Pierre Paul. I saw that, Yeah,
JPP with the Dolphins now, man, but the injury bug,
it's it's gonna be the biggest storyline down the stretch here.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
That's the way it always is, right, the most the
most injured teams doing those healthy teams typically the ones
at the end. And what made that injury gross was
that was captured like you know in fort right, it
was captured on TV on That was the is that
the Black Friday game was the Black Friday game right
same field.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Aaron Rodgers got.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Yeah, excuse me, and I uh yeah, and so and
they obviously Hard Knocks captured a bunch of it as well.
I had the under in that game on Friday, and
I had two pick sixes, right, one of them was
a hail Mary pick six, which has never done before.
And then a late Dolphins touchdown, like they didn't need
to score up with this scort anyways. Type of situation

(32:05):
it was. It was never lost an under on a
ninety nine yard of hail Mary pick six.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
I'll tell you that that was an amazing thing. That
was amazing. That's something we won't see too often.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Ninety nine yards right, Yeah, that's wild right there. All right,
we got a lot to get to, man, We've got
some great matchups here, obviously highlighted by the Niners Eagles.
We'll be diving into that one. Right around the corner,
we want to get to our parlay platter. We'll each
have a selection and just kind of pool everything together. Also,
shortly after the show, our podcast will be going up,

(32:37):
So if you miss anything on today's show, be sure
to check out the podcast. Just search for it wherever

right after we get off the year the parlay platter

(32:57):
right around the corner with Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL
veteran Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com. I'm Brian, know
who will we pick? Maybe a gross under? Maybe I'm
feeling the vibes of the gross under in the Michigan
Iowa game last night. I don't know, but I might
have a gross under for you around the corner. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.

(33:43):
the king of parlays. Okay, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Check this out, ar late letter.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Ah, yes, we each have one pick, pull everything together
and get a bigger payout here. Crack. We'll start with you, man,
what are you thinking today?

Speaker 5 (34:01):
You know, I kind of liked Carolina when it was
six and a half, even six. Now that it's down
to three. At bet MGM, let's put Tampa Bay in.
There could be two right sides of a game, you know, guys.
When something six and a half, you like that side.
When something's three, you like that side. I just need
Tampa really to win the game. So Tampa minus three
is my Porschit of the platter.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
All right, I Tampa, myster I have I have the
minus five. I got a bad number this week, guys,
not not jod guys. I I will take the Titans
plus one against the Colts. The Colts are without Jonathan
Taylor as we know, but the Titans again Mike Rabol

(34:45):
twelve and five as a home underdog, like these teams.
Just I know it's one point, I get it, But
his teams just play well these situations back against the wall.
They need to keep winning, So the Colts are. They're
the same boat. But the Colts have a backup quarterback,
so are the Titans. But I like the Times, just
a sort of physical Their way to win here hasn't
been pretty for them recently. They just bury bit the Panthers.

(35:07):
But I like the spot for Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
I like that pick, Jeff. I like what you're thinking there.
I'm gonna take the Falcons Jets under. It's thirty three
right now. That's that's lower than the Michigan Iowa game yesterday,
just to put that in perspective. But you've got Road Ridder,
you know Road Desmond Ridder not good, and you've got

(35:31):
Tim Boyle with the Jets. Just think about that Jets defense.
You gotta slow down the run, which in Atlanta can
run it well, but that's really all you have to
do because road ridd is not gonna just work magic
against you. This is gonna be another low scoring, grinded
out game. I guess the question would be can the

(35:51):
Falcons stop the run effectively? Because they've been really bad
in that department, but not bad enough that I would
shy away from the under. A couple of these stats
are just mind boggling. This season, unders at thirty eight
or below the record is fifteen to three and one.
That's hitting at an eighty three percent clip.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Oh yeah, And.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
If you get even a little lower, unders at thirty
five and a half or below over the past two
seasons eight and one. So these gross low totals, the
underhit way more often than not, So I'll take it
in this Falcons jetskime.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
The best example of that is the IOWA Unders college football.
They hit no matter what, No matter what what you
said to Matt, there's a reason the number is so low.
In situation, jets plus plus the points to something I
thought really hard.

Speaker 6 (36:42):
This week, guys, I mean me too, like too.

Speaker 5 (36:44):
If it was three, I was taking it.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
Man Desmond Ritter on the road. God should should not
be a favorite of anybody. The Jets defense is the
best thing on the field today. And you're saying, right,
the problem is Tim Boyle, right like you just you're
just like, oh jeez, I mean they got it's gotta
ten to seven, fourteen, ten, fourteen thirteen, like you just,

(37:09):
there's so much the margin of era is so small.
And this wager, in my opinion.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Yeah, road ridder by the way two and four against
the spread.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
I'm not surprised that.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Come on, yeah, the one in five straight up?

Speaker 6 (37:21):
You like that road ridder Yeah, that's nice.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Get those fronted up right there, no doubt. Okay, how
about we got some time let's preview. How about the
Chargers and Patriots? Like our guy Martin Weiss just said
it's gross gay, but no, Mac Jones, Bailey Zappi is
in and uh we'll see if the If you can't
generate some offense at home against the Chargers, who can

(37:45):
you generate offense against? Really, that's how bad their defense
has been this season.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Every Chargers game is within three points either direction with
two minutes left, every one of them. So you can't
you just the Patriots are bust on the one man,
I'm not touching this game crack, but Patriots. To me,
it's Patriots are bust.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
Yes, you know it's funny. My prop guy just sent
me something in that game. He sent me under Zappi
New England half a touchdown pass plus one sixty five
widely available even seeing plus one eighty five. It's interesting.
You know that game is one of these games. I
was telling my right hand man, my assistant. I was saying,
listen to me. Every syndicate is on this under, including us.

(38:28):
Early in the week I sent that under forty one.
But before us, there was a syndicate send that under
forty one and a half. Then forty one. We sent
that under forty one. And now one of the sharp
guys I really respected the industry, he went under forty.
Very unusual to see that because he's someone go under
a secondary and the third number there and now the
game's thirty nine. Boy, I tell you, I hate when

(38:50):
everyone's on one side. But so they really think it's
going to be one of those sticky type of games
where not a lot of offense generated.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Correct, man, that's crazy. I I could see Zappi not
throwing a touchdown pass. My initial reaction is like, wow,
not one touchdown pass in an NFL game, It does happen.
But you think about the Patriots, they only average thirteen
point five points per game. So let's say you know
they run one in. Let's say it's a couple of
field goals, Like you'd be surprised how often you get

(39:20):
there when going in it's like, really not even one
touchdown pass. It might hit crack under.

Speaker 6 (39:27):
A half, you know, you think about it.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
Under a half, it just means real simple just to
get the touchdown pass. But the way you just even
worded it, it makes even the prop even stronger. So I
may be looking for that door in the break. There
we go, there you go.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
How many bets do you normally make during this show crack.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
During the show, probably five to seven, sometimes a little
bit more so, never less, never less normally because they're
prop bets. Like it's we really don't make too many
sides during the show that that you know, Like I say,
it's the most sufficient market. That's why the crack challenge
are so tough. But we'll get to that later on
in the show.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
We will crack. I was a whisker away from a
five to zero.

Speaker 5 (40:07):
Week, Oh man, Oh sure, I.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
Was a crossbar short of overtime and maybe a win
right there?

Speaker 6 (40:13):
All right?

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Comeing up next? After laying an egg last week? Will
this team rebound in a big way today?

Speaker 5 (40:21):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (40:21):
What's going on? Everybody? Welcome in here, Week thirteen of
the NFL season. We are flying high, baby. The question
is will the Eagles be flying high? We'll get to
that as we go through it.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Today.

Let's dive into this Lions Saints matchup here, fellas, where
you look at the Lions trying to rebound from a

(40:55):
terrible Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers. They didn't show
and so they're trying to get back on track against
the Saints today. I was just thinking about this. Do
you get slight chargers vibes from the Saints?

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Meaning this right?

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Like sort of like the Chargers of the NFC. They've
got a talented roster. Yeah, but they swing and miss
a lot of times. But heading into the next game,
You're like, if I fade him, is this the week
that they put it together and make me look like
an idiot?

Speaker 5 (41:28):
Right?

Speaker 6 (41:28):
Like?

Speaker 3 (41:28):
The Saints seem a little like the Chargers to me
in that regard.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
Isn't that basically a in this situation, Derek Carr thought,
if Derek Carr is good, the Saints might have a chance.
I'm gonna owe you ifi ire hundred bucks, Brian in
about two weeks. You're about to cleanse this this wager
between us and the Saints and Panthers. Here it feels like,
excuse me a Derek Carr tweet, Right, Like, if Derek
Carr is on, the Saints are competitive. If he's not,

(41:54):
the Saints are just not competitive.

Speaker 8 (41:55):
Right.

Speaker 4 (41:55):
It's sort of the way that the season will go.
The Lions is a good question because the Lions are
fall into sort of a little bit of Cowboys Dolphins,
where they they play really well against the bad teams.
The Lions have one win this year good team with
a winning record. That's Kansas City in Week one, and
that was a game that we agree like the Chiefs
just catch a football twice and they win that game, right, Yea?

(42:15):
So the Lions are falling that in that in that
in that category where I think that they will play
well because they're have more rest and they played poorly
last week, knowing the Saints aren't terribly good. That's my
concern with wagering on on the uh you know, wagering
on the U on the Saints in this spot. So
I crack, I'm staying away from this. Are you putting

(42:38):
any money on this?

Speaker 6 (42:39):
One?

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Line opened up at three uh three to three and
a half at the two places that make the lines
for everyone else, and quickly went to four up to
four and a half at a lot of the spots
across the world.

Speaker 6 (42:51):
Here.

Speaker 5 (42:52):
You know, I've been tough on car I have. I
just he signs that one hundred and fifty million dollar
con track and I just keep on looking at that
thirty seven and a half million a year, and and
just look at him on the sidelines getting mad, and
she get mad at himself. He gets mad at like
the faces he makes. And you know, I guess he
hasn't played so bad, but he just hasn't. Yeah, I mean, listen,

(43:16):
I guess he just has a bit efficient in the
red zone. But I just, I mean, I just I've
been tough on him, but I still I gotta I
gotta go back to a Christian said right away. I
asked him what do you have the most money on?
And he went right to this game. He said, like
seventy five percent of the money more coming in on
Detroit against New Orleans. So like I said, like like

(43:40):
Brian noted to him, God protects the bookmakers.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
And sure enough, I think New Orleans in.

Speaker 5 (43:47):
This spot probably is the is believe it or not,
is the right side if I can get that hook.
Oh God, and it is four and a half at
bet MGM, So I hate the bet. That ugly team.
Uh what are the Saints? Are they five and six?
But yet are they first place or something?

Speaker 6 (44:07):
Or they No?

Speaker 5 (44:07):
Okay, I thought. I was like I remember seeing like
they were tied for first in the division or whatever. Yeah,
I was like wow, But uh, I can't lay points
on the road with this Detroit team. Brian brought up
a great point, never really draw that drew that parallel.
Uh yeah, they're like the Chargers to me a little bit.

(44:27):
This team, some of the sharp some of the syndicates
had Detroit number one like five weeks ago. I didn't,
but they had them like number one best team in football,
no way, but they were play were rolling along there
and and like Jeff said, also that week one, if
if I forget who was that was Kelsey out that game?

Speaker 4 (44:48):
I think Kelsey was.

Speaker 5 (44:49):
Yeah, Like if they had maybe Kelsey and there was
another guy they they probably should have won that game too.
So I'm just not I'm done with Detroit after losing
out right on Thanksgiving Day national home audience like that
and playing so bad that. That's a couple of games
this year. Who else blew them Bay? Some of them

(45:10):
did Baltimore like blow them away? Yeah, the more job, yeah,
Baltimore Bay. Yeah, I'm off that train. So if anything,
I'd probably lean the Saints here with.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
The hook yeah yeah, goff with too many turnovers last week,
a lot of fumbles against the Packers on Thanksgiving. I
want to see what this Detroit defense does because this
could be a get right spot for them, right you
think about Chris Olave is expected to go, but he
missed part of the game last week. Was in concussion protocol. No,

(45:40):
Michael Thomas, I want to see if this Lions defense
can get it done, can get on track, because they're
they're a little hit or miss.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
Also, I think, yeah, the Lions, you know, they're like
a fun team, but I don't think a team that
I sort of considered to be an NFC favorite type
of situation, and it just fun about the NFL. Right,
you can be good, but maybe not elite, and that's
where they sit to me. So where the Cowboys sit

(46:08):
for me? Your Cowboys obviously have the Eagles next week,
so maybe we'll get in another sense of the Cowboys.
The Lions just they've been who they need to be
on their schedule. They've looked shaky last couple of weeks.
Maybe they're coming back down to earth a little bit,
but they're still it feels like there's still pieces away
from being that competitive to win the NFC. It was
a fun story for a coupleys were talking about as
a one seed Brian and oh my god, it's a

(46:31):
good they're good team, not a great team. Still, I
think ways to go on defense.

Speaker 3 (46:37):
How about this Colts Titans game. You hit on this
in the parlay platter there, Jeff, you'd like the Titans.
Plus the point we all know about Mike Vrabel and
being a home underdog and his record is very good.
And you also think about Jonathan Taylor, the star running
back of the Colts. He's out, he had dumb surgery.
He's gonna miss a couple of weeks. So Zach Moss
is in there. I know you're not huge on trends, Crack,

(46:59):
but but it's something that I keep in the back
of my head where the Titans have won five of
the last six against the Colts in this matchup, and
it's it's one of those where it's like, I'm not
gonna bet it because of that, but it's one of
those little trends where I'm like, it's not bad to
have in the back of my pocket, you know what
I mean. If you're thinking about backing the Titans over here,

(47:21):
I just think that, uh, it's gonna be Minshew and
Pittman Junior. That's how you're gonna have to largely move
the ball against the Titans. And this could be a
good Derrick Henry spot. The Colts just have not slowed
down the rush. They're missing Grover Stewart and so Derrick
Henry if he's able to carry a good portion of
the heavy lifting, then I like the Titans even more

(47:43):
in this In this spot, the.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
Sharp guys came on Tennessee this week. You know, in
this game, especially now Taylor being out, this is a
interesting match up here because they really didn't move a
lot since they made Taylor officially out. The Colts that
you know they've won, I think freaking a row now
with Minshew behind.

Speaker 6 (48:01):
The center there.

Speaker 5 (48:04):
But situationally here, game opened up two, went to one
and a half, down to one, and it's stayed at one.
I'm staying away from this game. This could be like
one of those ugly games. So I'm just staying away
from the game. But if anything, I mean, if if
you're forced to make a play here, I do agree
with you. I would I would lean to Tennessee. That's
what That's what you liked, right Brian.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I like in this one.
You Jeff, you're on, You're on the Titans. It's one
of your big plays this week.

Speaker 4 (48:32):
Yeah, Tony, mine will be one of mine this week.
And yeah, I'm uh it was two and three last week,
I think right in the Crawd Challenge. I'm kind of
coming back there with a little bit here. So I'm
you know, not.

Speaker 6 (48:43):
Having a good season.

Speaker 4 (48:45):
Yeah, we need some more wins. I just think I
just sort of the Titans as home dogs feels like
a spot I always want to be on whatever forever reason.
They play better in the spots. The Colts defense is okay,
not great, Their offensive is much different without Taylor in there,
And I just like the times in the spot put

(49:07):
it like that.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
Yeah, yeah, what do you think about Will Levis? You know,
get off to the great start for touchdown passes has
been okay since then, hasn't been bad, but you know,
touchdowns to picks off to a decent start. I know
we're just kind of like drooling over c. J. Stroud,
who's been fantastic, But yeah.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
Levis has been better than Bryce Young, which absolutely a lot,
but he's been he's been steady. I think the lack
of turnovers is a good sign. Right, that's a good
you and a young quarterback. You'd like to sort of
have a situation where he's not giving the ball back
to their team, just keeping you on track, keeping you steady.
And that's who's done so far, and you can hit
the home run ball, which was what they didn't have
for so many years there with Tannahil.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
Yeah, that's right, that's right. Well, we'll see it's so
old Levis v. Minshoe matchup today.

Speaker 5 (49:53):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
This is this is why this year has not feel
as exciting the NFL, right, I mean, think about Guard
we have we have that, and then we have a Coler
Murray and we have a Kenny Pickett game, Herbert Bailey,
Zappy Desmond Ritter, Tim Boyle. Oh gosh, you know Bryce
Young Mayfield Flacos playing Todayford.

Speaker 3 (50:18):
The highlights got to be purty and hurts, right.

Speaker 4 (50:21):
Oh, absolutely, there's no other matchup this week that I mean.
There could have been a Burrow Lawrence matchup, which is
not we don't have that. Deshaun Watson Stafford. You know,
there was a chance to have some really good matchups
here and just didn't have because injuries.

Speaker 6 (50:39):
Yeah. Right.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
And the funny thing is we always talk about protecting
the quarterback and the rules and all this stuff. You
look at most of these high profile quarterback injuries, it
has nothing to do with the rules, right You think
about Burrow going down that that had nothing to do
with the rules. If you think about Deshaun Watson, that
just shoulder injury, nothing to do with the rules. There's

(51:01):
only so much you can do it's a violent sport.
You can't keep everybody upright, you know, and.

Speaker 4 (51:07):
You can't you can't legislate out injuries. That was the case,
I would never gotten hurt, you know. I mean, like
that's I wish you could do that, but you just
you just can't. Maybe the hip drop tackle they're trying
to get rid of Brian. At some point we'll get
this stuff out of the game, but otherwise it feels
hard to just take away the violence out of the sport.
It's hard to do.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
By the way, guys, how about Goodell coming after the
tush push slash brother Lesha.

Speaker 4 (51:29):
Yeah, I don't. I don't think that's good. The competition
committee is the one that deals with these things, and
to me, the Eagles were the best at it. Why
would you punish the Eagles for being good at this?
You don't punish anyone else for being good at it.
So that's my sort of my stance on that.

Speaker 5 (51:44):
Yeah, Yeah, Eagles, Eagles one. You coming in, guys. A
couple of the lines are moving here. Even MGM went
down to plus three minus fifteen on the Eagles, and
that's what I expected too. How high can San Franco?
They opened up minus one one and a half up
to three. Now the money's coming in on the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (52:02):
Yeah, a little bit right. And by the way, I
don't think you're not gonna say no quarterback sneaks of
any kind, you know, So I don't see the tush
push being dramatically different than just your normal quarterback sneak.
Am I crazy for thinking that. I know you're getting
pushed from behind a little bit different, but it's not
worlds different. If you got rid of the tush push,

(52:24):
you're still able to sneak it. Think about your guy Mahomes,
he got a knee injury on a quarterback sneak h
a couple of years.

Speaker 4 (52:29):
Not, it's not that different. It's just it's a you know,
it's a more rugby scrum ish when they're doing when
you're doing in the tush push.

Speaker 3 (52:37):
Yeah. Hey from live betting the player props. Bet mgm

was gonna be high stakes for a potential playoff spot.
We'll get to that coming up. It is Fox Sports

(54:05):

along with other prizes like entry to the bet MGM
party and food and beverage credits. All right, fellas, So
how about this Broncos at the Texans to six and
five teams and this is a big game for playoff
positioning here. It was a big loss last week for

(54:27):
the Texans at home against Jacksonville and they slid down
to six and five. But the story for Denver it's
forcing these takeaways.

Speaker 5 (54:36):
Right.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
They've gotten twenty two takeaways on the season. They lead
the NFL in that category. And during this winning streak,
that's when they've done the most heavy lifting in that category.
They've been forcing a lot of turnovers and they've obviously
benefited off of that. Coupled with solid play from Russell
Wilson and poof, we got a winning streak over here

(54:56):
in Denver.

Speaker 4 (54:58):
Yeah. No, I I mean if they go plus four
every week in turnovers, that they're gonna win again today.

Speaker 6 (55:06):
But I don't.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
I don't really think that's gonna happen, right, I mean,
if you take out the turnovers, which again are very
you know every game, you know, you just don't know,
you know, they're very they flunctuate, right, you can't count them.
What are they? Right to me? They get their their
butts kicked today because if you don't again, they don't

(55:29):
force turnovers. Brian, what what are they? What are they
on defense? What are they on offense? I have Houston
as one of my five today. It's a three right now.
I don't know if it'll be three at the time
that our show's done because it's minus one twenty right
now in bet MGM, you might go back to three
and a half. But I've seen Texans, you know, I
discount them a little bit. A couple of weeks ago.
They beat the Cardinals. Yeah, I lost to Jacksonville's that happen,

(55:53):
so be it. They're a little bit better than them
right now. But this feels like a number that is
people too high on the b and too low in
the Texas after what happened last week. And we should
never make wagers based off of one week of overreactions.

Speaker 5 (56:08):
Interesting that you say that, because there are people bloy
even the shark rives pretty high on Denver. Now I
think they won five in a row, correct me if
I'm wrong. I think they won like five in a
row after a one and five start, which is pretty impressive.
So this spot was taken by the wise guys earlier
in the week at plus three and a half. Now

(56:28):
it's back down to three. But I do see Euston
money coming this morning. It was just all Uston money
coming back in. Like you said, it's minus threem minus
twenty at bet MGM. Also some big movement on this total.
Also this this total opened up like forty five up
to like forty seven and a half. I do lean
the over, but I can't play over forty seven and

(56:50):
a half now that it's a key number, you know.
And plus it's been an under season, so forty seven
and a half is a number I can't go over.
So but but it has been all over money too.
And uh, you know, it wouldn't have surprised me that
that Houston wins the game in pretty easy fashion. Uh

(57:12):
at home here early early game, Denver traveling to Houston.
So we'll see what happens here. This may may be
a better game than we think, but it may be
a worse game, like Jeff says, I really didn't think
about it, as there's so much love for Denver lately,
like he said, and maybe Uston even slipping a bit
a lot of you know, not a lot. But everyone

(57:34):
loves this kid too. So you Houston money has been
coming in closer to game time, probably more than any
team I heard. I heard a bookmaker say that on
a show earlier this this week, how much money they
get on Houston day of the game. So you know,
people like him, I mean, even though he's drown like
I think it's for three interceptions last week and a
key one the week before that. But we'll see if

(57:56):
he rebounds and see what happens in this game.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
How about Brown's rams. So we get Joe Flacco, Joe
Flacco off the couch and he is the thirty eight
year old starting quarterback of the Browns, the fourth starting
quarterback for this team. Well he'll try to be the
fourth starting quarterback to win a game. How crazy is
that for the Browns?

Speaker 5 (58:17):
This gea Ubel.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
Yeah, And so you also have Cooper Cup. He's been
battling injury this year. He's expected to play, but not
even close to his normal you know, Studley self, he's
just been nicked up, so you don't normally see. I
saw his prop was around like fifty six or something
like that, fifty six and a half, and I'm like, wow,

(58:39):
goodness for Cooper Cup. But that's where he's ad. It's
at fifty five and a half right now at bet MGM.
But Pooka Nakua has been good. You think this is
probably gonna be a low scoring game. Miles Garrett's gonna go.

Speaker 6 (58:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (58:51):
I know he's got that shoulder injury, but that Browns
defense is really tough, and what's Flacco going to be
able to do against Aaron Donald and company. I can't
imagine there's gonna be that a points scored in this one.

Speaker 4 (59:01):
Yeah. I like the Rams in this game for some
of the reasons you mentioned. I mean, Joe Flackman was
just coming straight off his couch into an NFL game
on the road against the Rams with a beat up
offensive line. Right his offensive line is not healthy at
the moment. The good offensive not healthy. Miles Garrett, maybe
the best play of the NFL this season will not
be one hundred percent, no matter how much they claim

(59:23):
the shoulder doesn't matter. It does matter. It does matter.
The Rams when Stafford is healthy are a much better
team than when without Stafford. We know that obviously, But
way Stafford rushing over two and a half, we'll be
hammering that today with the Browns pass rush going to happen.
He finished with two last week, right, We joked about this.

Speaker 3 (59:42):
Right, he had a rush for two yards, and I'm like, ah,
that was it.

Speaker 4 (59:46):
We didn't take it. We didn't take it last week.
We didn't do it last week because I told you
it's gotta begainst the best pass rushes. So I I it.

Speaker 6 (59:57):
I see.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
The Browns are in a tough spot here with Flacco.
I mean again, they're both fighting for something, right, the
Rams are in the playoffs. Attention it so over the Browns.
You're starting your fourth quarterback this season. That's typically a
recipe for bad football. Off the bench. Rescue immobile Flacco,
like dtr PJ. Walker, they could move a little bit
immobile Flacco. It doesn't feel like a recipe for much success.

Speaker 5 (01:00:20):
Today, thirty eight year old Flacco literally on his couch,
Like Jeff said, it just reminds me of like the
great boxing champions that fought too long, So we'll see.
Maybe he'll prove me wrong, like the great Muhammad Ali.
You know, Larry Holmes didn't want to beat him up
that last fight. But you know they've given ten million bucks.
Of course he's gonna jump in the ring. You don't

(01:00:43):
know if that's the situation today. All Cleveland money this
morning when we got on air, it was four. Major
line moved at three and a half. Now even plus
three and a half minus fifteen's at the bet MGM
and other books.

Speaker 6 (01:00:57):
It's all Cleveland money.

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
So all this stuff going on, and yet Cleveland's still
seven and four so and in the playoff hunt. And
meanwhile the Rams are just struggling here to get back
to five hundred.

Speaker 6 (01:01:10):
So interesting game.

Speaker 5 (01:01:12):
It's been actually over money opened up thirty eight up
to forty.

Speaker 6 (01:01:17):
Again.

Speaker 5 (01:01:18):
The side is is like some even money though, coming
in on both sides. One book opened up at three,
another book opened up at four. Everyone copied, we're right
in the middle now three and a half. This will
not be the later game, people will want to say,
trust me, it's going to be all Philadelphia, San Franz
on everyone's TVs across the you know the world, probably.

Speaker 3 (01:01:40):
So well and think about this too, crack. It would
be like an older boxer coming back to fight an
opponent he struggles against.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
Right there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
You're a fighter and you struggle against South Pause, and
it's like I'm facing a south pad. This is not good.
Flacco is immobile and his offensive line, to Jeff's point,
is banged up. This would be like Tom Brady without
his starting tackles. Like Mahomes in the Super Bowl, he
was able to run around and make some things happen.
Tom Brady's not gonna be able to do that. Joe

(01:02:10):
Flacco is not going to be able to do that.
So if they're able to get heat the rams on
Joe Flacco, it's gonna be a long day offensively for Cleveland.
That's just as basic as it gets.

Speaker 4 (01:02:22):
Absolutely, Yeah, that's what I think could happen.

Speaker 6 (01:02:25):
In this game.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
Yeah, it very well could, no doubt about that. All Right,
let's throw it on over to our main man, Martin Weiss,
Michigan fan probably gonna be smiling year to year with
a one seed. In the next thirty minutes or so,
we're anticipating Martin. What's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Man?

Speaker 9 (01:02:41):
I know they need to go ahead, just announce this
now because the group chats the timeline is going insane
with who's going to be the fourth team in you
know it is. They did a good job of stoking controversy,
I'd say, but no controversy. Here is the Patriots quarterback
Bailey's appy we'll get to start today against the Chargers.
Mac Jones has been benched, which means now of the

(01:03:01):
class of twenty twenty one quarterbacks, you have Trevor Lawrence
and Justin Fields as the guys still standing. Mac Jones
been benched, Zach Wilson ben several times. Trey Lance never
really got onto the field as we saw now playing
in Dallas. Colts running back John at the Taylor had
surgery earlier this week. He's expected to miss three to
five weeks with the torn UCL's recovers from that. Chris

(01:03:22):
Godwin has a neck injury, but is likely to play
as long as he feels okay in pregame warmups.

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
J C.

Speaker 9 (01:03:27):
Horn and Jeremy Chin, defensive backs for the Panthers, activated
off injury reserve, will play today against the Buccaneers. Texans
wide receiver Noah Brown and Tank Dell were both questionable
and expected to play today against the Broncos. Chris Alave
expected to play as well after clearing concussion protocol against
the Lions, who will be without linebacker alex Enzeloni he
hurt his hand Thanksgivving Day. Cardinals tight end Trey McBride

(01:03:48):
listened as questionable for Sunday due to a groin injury.
Marquise Brown expected to play as well. Both of those
guys expected to play against the Steelers. Jack McKinnon not
going for the Chiefs against the Packers. He's got a
groin injury, like you guys just said. Quarterback Joe Flacco
from the couch to the field. He'll be starting today
for the Browns against the Rams. League leader and catches
Keenan Allen will fight through a quad injury today. He

(01:04:10):
did practice on Friday, so he looks like he'll be
good to go, per the Athletics Diana Russini. NFL Commissioner
Roger Goodell wants to see the tush push removed from
the game next season. Breeze Hall for the Jets expected
to play through a hamstring injury against the Falcons today.
And Ian Rappaport is reporting that Aaron Rodgers not expected
to be cleared if the Jets are out of playoff

(01:04:32):
contention with four and seven with another Timboil start on
the way, I'm not expected to see him at all,
no matter what he says back to you, guys, Thank.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
You very much, Martin. It is Fox Sports Radios cap
Down to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. BETMGM is now
available under one wallet in select states. For example, if
you're in the DMV area, no need to worry about
making separate accounts for DC, Maryland and Virginia when crossing
state borders. Simply just log into your existing account instead
of creating a new one. All right, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Same game, Carlings.

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
Okay, crack, I know you've been.

Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
In the lab.

Speaker 6 (01:05:11):
I have you cooking one up?

Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
Cooking one up? What do you have for us?

Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
Look, going to go to the top game on the schedule, Chargers.

Speaker 6 (01:05:19):
From New England.

Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
Let's look at the we built it under MGM, the
bet MGM app, and of course I'm going to do
it correlated and throw my peanut on under in this game.
Wow boy, I'll tell you what, they got the lowest
one of anyone in the world.

Speaker 6 (01:05:33):
But I'm still going to go on there under under.

Speaker 5 (01:05:35):
Thirty eight and a half Patriots plus four and a half. Boy,
that's ugly. Oh god, that is ugly.

Speaker 6 (01:05:41):
I know.

Speaker 5 (01:05:41):
And uh, Keenan Allen under ninety four and a half
receiving yards but a big return of this one one
hundred gets you back five twenty five. So plus four
point twenty five to one again Patriots and under with
Keenan Allen under receiving yards, hoping he's not going to
be one hundred percent in his return.

Speaker 6 (01:06:01):
So there we go.

Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
What's that ad again? Crack eighty nine and a half
for Ellen?

Speaker 5 (01:06:06):
You know under the MGM app when when you build
these you could you could toggle it anywhere from seventy
four and a half to one hundred and twenty four
and a half. I went middle of the road under
ninety four and a half Keenan Allen on the bet
MGM app. So the under ninety four and a half
Patriots n under in the game.

Speaker 6 (01:06:24):
Okay, there we go.

Speaker 3 (01:06:26):
Pretty close. Last week Davonte Smith went off for you
the Eagles receiver. Eagles were well over twenty three and
a half team points. It was the first half.

Speaker 5 (01:06:36):
These are real tough to hit, you know, it's real
tough to hit those type of you know, you're you're
betting at parlay. So like I said, I'm gonna try
to correlate as much as I can, and you know,
just make it a peanut bet.

Speaker 6 (01:06:47):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
Will you ever crack? Let me tap into your betting
brain over here? If you put together your same game
parlay like you just did with Keenan Allen the Patriots,
the under for the game. If there's a that you
like in particular the most, will you play that separately?

Speaker 5 (01:07:04):
Also, well, it's funny when we do prop it up.
That's gonna be one of my props. So I always
try to pick one of my best props and build
a parlay around that. So yes, the answer is absolutely yes,
and that's going.

Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
To be there.

Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
There's a little hint ahead of time, though, you say,
make it like you're asking about like the five to
the seven props per per show. Maybe a little bit
more than that, because I just bet golf under just
to let everyone else know I'm going I'm going ahead. Sorry, guys,
I bet GoF under two hundred and fifty seven and
a half yards. So there's a whole bunch of stuff

(01:07:40):
thrown at you. You know, I love betting props day
of the game. Full limits open up, So I'm firing
on props live on air.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
By the way, Jeff, I know you are like a
shark with blood in the water with these quarterbacks and
lower passing yardage totals. Bailey Zappi at a buck eighty
eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:08:01):
Yeah, well, I think I did p last week on those.
I think it was like over because I think ad
O'Connell came out. I wish I could have done like
a live bet for him because he came out hot,
and then the Raider didn't score the rest of the game,
which I'm not surprised, So yeah him, And I mean,
how do you not bet the Desmond Ridder one? Like,

(01:08:21):
how do you not bet him to go under? I'm
gonna find the actual.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
I think it's one seventy one and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:08:27):
Once in one and a half. He's not doing that
in this game. It's just not happening. I can't imagine
the weather is great in New York today either, so
it's a dome team. Now. Ridder did play Cincinnati, so
you know in college he played outside. And remember, guys,
the thing about the weather in college it's important to
note the season ends in Thanksgiving. Okay, they don't play
a lot of bad weather games in college. The bad

(01:08:49):
weather games happened now in December and January. You really
get a bad weather game in the NFL besides rain obviously,
like but a cold, bitter game it doesn't have very
often until after Thanksgiving. And so you know, he is
not played in the type of game like this. They're
about to see that that stadium is windy. It's not
as bad as the old Meadowlands where they used to
open up the you know, the the barn doors to

(01:09:11):
let the wind ripped through that thing back in the day.
You know, I played the last Brian How about this crack.
It's good little trivia answer. I played the last game
of the old stadium, the last Giants home game, the
Panthers went to New York. We beat the Giants forty
one nine. The next year we opened the season in
the new stadium and lost the Giants. Wow, I played

(01:09:32):
the last game of the old one the first game.

Speaker 6 (01:09:34):
Of the new one.

Speaker 4 (01:09:36):
And so it's it's fifty two today in New York,
wind and raining. Yeah, give me the ridder under in
that one. I'll take that on.

Speaker 3 (01:09:44):
Is that like the new immaculate grid? Who played at
the last stadium? Who played at them?

Speaker 4 (01:09:50):
I've been on the I've been on the back of
the grid a few times, like Vikings Chiefs crossover, like
a Vikings Panthers crossover. I've played myself. I haven't played
the I haven't played the grid in a while. That
was a thing that was like the yea I might,
I might hop into that today, I'm all right, Yeah,
I always get I always get seven of like nine,
I never get nine of nine.

Speaker 3 (01:10:08):
That's better than me.

Speaker 6 (01:10:09):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
I'm not good at the grid. I'm good at knowing
the colleges of these current NFL players. I can do
that really well. But to remember who played where, and
oh yeah he was just bet Matt Barkley. Pick Matt Barkley,
the well traveled quarterback. He's been on you know, a
good quarter of the NFL teams, probably close to half,

(01:10:30):
you know what I mean. But it's hard for me
to keep that straight. How what your NFL resume looks like?

Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
Like like I just tried to play the grid. I
end up getting like a like the wrong name. I
messed up the name of a guy that I know,
you know, did both.

Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
It's like, for the teams today, what's it looking like?

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
It's a it's a Seahawks, Eagles, It's Seahawks, Woners, Titans, Eagles, Giants, Ravens.

Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Holy cow wowow. Yeah. So yeah, if you just say, hey,
who played for the Seahawks and the Eagles, I'm like, uh,
I'm gonna have to think about that for a little
while and let me get back to you on that.
Did anybody come to mind immediately for you guys? For
who for the Eagles and the Seahawks? Someone who played

(01:11:19):
for both teams?

Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
The thing that I always trying to do is is
to offensive offensivelignment because like they obviously travel a lot,
they turn me a lot, or backup quarterback. That's one
where like you're like, oh, there we go. But in
this situation, I don't think anyone comes to mind for
Eagles and Eagles. And see, I'm sure it's someone a
fairly obvious too, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
I'm sure there's someone just totally obvious. Yeah, but yeah,
I'm not good at that game.

Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
That very good.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
We got Jeff Schwartz. How many NFL teams in your career?

Speaker 6 (01:11:46):
Jeff? Again?

Speaker 4 (01:11:46):
Uh, four will be on the grid, but I was
on the fifth for training Camp.

Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
Four for the Grid. I like that. We got Bill
Krackenberger from crack wins dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian No.
Coming up next. Prop it up our favorite prop bets

do this.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
Prop it up player plays.

Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
Oh Yes, Week thirteen, prop bets crack. We'll start with you.
What are you thinking?

Speaker 6 (01:13:00):
Man?

Speaker 5 (01:13:01):
One of them I gave you guys already in the
in the SVP there the Chargers Keenan Allen under receiving
yards at bet MGM eighty nine and a half. Uh,
you know, coupled with him not one hundred maybe some
bad weather.

Speaker 6 (01:13:17):
Like that one.

Speaker 5 (01:13:17):
I'm gonna give you guys a second one. Lions Jamison
Williams are rare over over twenty three and a half
receiving yards at bet MGM.

Speaker 6 (01:13:26):
And uh, he's gonna get more.

Speaker 5 (01:13:28):
Involved, and he's been.

Speaker 6 (01:13:29):
He has been getting more involved. So I like that.

Speaker 5 (01:13:33):
I think that's a you know, a few, uh, just
a couple of passes there, so hopefully we get a
two and oh out of that. That's two top props.
But you know, of course I'm giving out many during
the show. But that's that's the two I'm on. Prop
it up, like it all right.

Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
I have the aforementioned Matthew Stafford over too and a
half rushing yards today against the back. If you look
at the season this year, every time they play a
good pass rush, Stafford has over two and a half
rushing yards typically just one rush at some point for
six yards. So that's all you need, right The Neil
downs worry me, desnert rit Or. Now excuse me. Up
to one hundred and seventy two zero point five passing

(01:14:12):
up one yards. Last spoke and sayde understill in New York.
Whether a little ify today, low coal, little windy, little
Ranyum MetLife Stadium. And then I have Joe Flacco under
one ninety eight and a half. Guys, he has a
free what use time? Joe Flacco was a contributor in
the National Football League any high level. So yeah, I
think I'm taking it's under there. I think he has

(01:14:34):
a rough COVID in Los Angeles.

Speaker 3 (01:14:37):
I'm gonna take a touchdown prop. I'm gonna go anytime
touchdown for Tampa Bay running back Rashad White. He scored
four touchdowns the last four games Carolina. They give up
the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL. Yampa doesn't run
it great, but he also catches the ball out of
the backfield. So you got a couple of opportunities there,
running it or catching it. I'll go with White to

(01:15:00):
get in the paint here today. I think he gets
in there against Carolina.

Speaker 6 (01:15:04):
Are you taking back a little price there?

Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
It's minus one oh five craw to pick them? Wow, yeah,
or anytime TD right there?

Speaker 6 (01:15:12):
So all right.

Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
I also got my eye on Jalen Hurts, right. He
scored a touchdown a rushing touchdown in eight of eleven games.
Same thing, Crack, it's minus one oh five anytime TD.
So that's something to keep your eye on as well.
There's so many props I love this week, you crack.
Is this a heavier than normal?

Speaker 6 (01:15:30):
No? Not heavier?

Speaker 5 (01:15:31):
No. Week one and the final week of NFL is
the two big weeks for props. For me, it seems
like that's what the big volume comes on. But as
the season goes on, I'll probably bet a little bit
less than the first obviously in the first week, even
the second week. But no, I probably bet about twenty
five of them. It's pretty good number, just twenty five.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
Let me throw one other at you see if you
guys like it or not. You in particular, Jeff are
I Rode Ridder, you know, struggles throwing it. But this
Jets defense, opposing quarterbacks love to run it again, like
its right right?

Speaker 4 (01:16:09):
Good pass rush?

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
Yeah, yeah, good pass rush. It's at sixteen and a half. Ritter,
he's hit the over in four of the last five
games that number, and against the Jets, I like him
to get to seventeen today.

Speaker 6 (01:16:21):
You like that?

Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
I like that? Yeah, because it looked I'm not gonna
worry about any Neil doubts. So again, like against these
pass rushes, man, I just the quarterbacks that are mobile
start to move, they start to run like they have
to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:16:34):
Yeah. Yeah, I can see that working out. Anything else
in your rolodex here of props crack that you like?

Speaker 6 (01:16:41):
Nah, I gave you guys the golf as I bet it.
I gave you guys that. I mean.

Speaker 5 (01:16:46):
I also I'll give you I'll give you three more
bit on air that you guys don't know about. Lions
Gibbs over rushing yards. I bet forty three and a
half rushing yards. I bet the Bronco's Sutton under fifty
eight and a half receiving yards. And I also bet
Pickens under three and a half receptions. Laid a dollar
thirty on that. So that's the Steelers' pickens. They're the

(01:17:07):
ones I bet on air. Boy, I could just go
on and on and on.

Speaker 6 (01:17:12):
I mean, yesterday I bet.

Speaker 5 (01:17:13):
I think I bet twelve props yesterday, so it just
every day.

Speaker 6 (01:17:19):
It's probably listen. Put it this way.

Speaker 5 (01:17:22):
Here's the deal, guys, anyone listening, Guys, girls, anybody.

Speaker 6 (01:17:25):
You can walk up.

Speaker 5 (01:17:26):
To a sportsbook in Las Vegas today and bet how
much on an NFL prop Maybe a dime, maybe a nickel,
but maybe a dime. Try to bet an NFL side.
Whatever you can carry to the counter, you can bet.
So that's how efficient the NFL is on NFL Sundays

(01:17:48):
compared to props. The sportsbook has to get, you know,
fifteen to twenty props more even per game. They have
to get those all right, those lines when they only
have to get one line on each game on the side, right,
So let me tell you what's beatable? Props are beatable
sides good luck.

Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
That's why the Crack challenge is so difficult. It is
the Crack challenge with just last second prop bets.

Speaker 5 (01:18:15):
You know, yeah, the guys may beat me.

Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
There might be able to. What's the challenge we got
to get to over fifty percent crack is that it
just win it.

Speaker 5 (01:18:24):
We're laying eleven to ten. Anyone that can win laying
eleven to ten at the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
There we go. Yeah, all right, coming up next it
is the biggest game of the week by far. We
will go in depth on it. Oh, what is going
on everybody? We are less than an hour away from
kickoff here Week thirteen NFL Action. We're just a handful
of minutes away from the official four teams being in

(01:18:53):
the college football playoffs. So as soon as we know,
we'll let you know. Let's get into the go ahead
very quickly.

Speaker 4 (01:18:59):
The odds. Look, I know some of the odds sometimes
on these numbers can fluctuate a lot, right, I mean,
there's not a great market for it, right, But as
we've been the last ten to fifteen minutes, Alabama has
now surpassed Florida State on some of the sports books
here that provide some of these odds for a playoff,

(01:19:20):
you know, playoff participation.

Speaker 3 (01:19:23):
If you had to bet it, are you betting on
Florida State or Alabama making the playoff?

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
Alabama? I think that the committee has been clear about
best this year. They made it very clear about best.
They have said that most deserving is not a metric
that we use, not in our vocabulary of teams. Again,
I would put Florida State in. That's what I would do.
I think that winning thirteen games no matter how you

(01:19:50):
do it. And yeah, they might get their butts kicked
by Michigan. I don't you know what I mean. But
that's how I would do it. Again. And again, the
odds on these are like crack. You know, they fluctuate
like based off of a tweet. It's not like it's not,
in my opinion, a great market. Texas minus eight hundred,
I mean, they have no idea. It's making a number up,

(01:20:11):
so people don't bet Texas probably so it fluctuates to me.
And but again, I mean the market is telling you
that they think Bam is in.

Speaker 5 (01:20:18):
Now, Jeff, you bring up something that's across every single
betting platform. That's very true. You said, they'll make a
game like that, or they'll make a line like that
minus eight the one because they don't want bets on
the favorite. And that's absolutely correct as far as everything goes.
Whenever you see a market that's a two way market,

(01:20:38):
which by the way, I like two way markets minus
eight to one plus whatever, six to one. It's usually
not even that high, But I like two way markets,
and I'll just tell you though, the minus is normally
the right way to go, especially like when it comes
to props for the Super Bowl and like will it
touch will it will a guy score a touchdown?

Speaker 6 (01:20:58):
Yes or no?

Speaker 5 (01:20:59):
And and you know the no is minus five to one. Well,
they're basically pricing that just so people bet the yes.
So you're you're very much right about that. People love
taking the plus money on things, so but the no
is actually the right way to go. Normally people don't
have the bank roll or the stones to lay that
kind of number, so there's normally that is the right

(01:21:22):
way to go. But the books are really pricing those
things based on you not having the like I said,
the stones to bet and lay the minus eight to one.
But that's normally the right way to go. So just
in general, across all different types of bets.

Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
It's funny because I see it the same way in
terms of the final four teams. If I were on
the committee, I would vote for Florida State over Bama.
But I think the committee is going to vote for
Bama over Florida State. I would bet on Bama to
make it. The thing I keep coming back to is,
let's say Bama doesn't make it and you start doing
the math and it's like, Okay, you lost a home

(01:21:58):
game against Texas. Ah Man, that's tough. That one game
came back to bite you. It's different when you talk
about Florida State. If Florida State's on the outside looking in,
it's like we won every single game. We went thirteen
to zero, we won the conference championship, and we're not
in because our quarterback unfortunately got hurt. That's way tougher

(01:22:18):
than losing a game at home against the team that's
in Texas gonna be in the playoff that that's way
worse for Florida State to be on the outside looking in.
But I think the committee's gonna look at it and say,
what have you done for me lately? And we don't
think Florida State's one of the top four teams, So
I think it's gonna be roll tied instead of Florida State.
That's that's the definition of rough to not be in

(01:22:43):
there if the Seminoles are not in. But that's maybe
what we're gonna get officially here in the next few minutes.
How about this Niners Eagles game of the week. Of course,
you know the backdrop NFC Championship Game last season, brock
Perty gets hurt, he goes down. The Eagles go on
to win in a route thirty one to seven. The
spot is interesting. The Eagles have been out gained by

(01:23:06):
almost one hundred yards in each of the past four games.
They've won all of them, but at some point that's
gonna come back and catch up with you. And you
think about this Niners offense against this Eagles defense. I
think the Niners are gonna be able to move the
ball effectively today and we'll see if they can cover
the spread. They've got a great chance to do that.

(01:23:29):
I just think the spot matters a ton and the
Eagles they're not playing their best football right here right now, so.

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
It's interesting the Niners here. I think the line is
when the line came out, just like we had Christian
earlier who said like, yeah, I didn't really get the line.
And to me, when I see something like this, I
think to myself, Okay, well, why is the line the
way it is?

Speaker 6 (01:23:53):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:23:53):
Because to me, I'm like, oh, what's interesting. But thing
about sort of the trajectory of these teams at the moment. Okay,
the Niners played Thursday, had an easy game in Seattle,
they have rest, They're heading into Philadelphia. This is a
game that they circle on their calendar to start the season.
We want to beat the Eagles. Right last year, we

(01:24:13):
feel like we should have be should have won. That
game was close to even when pretty got hurt. It
was close to at halftime. Okay, circled that game. We
want to beat the Eagles. The Eagles are in this
stretch right now, Dallas bye week, Chiefs and minor football Bills.
They've played their defense I think has played. I think
that's fifty more plays than the Niners have over the

(01:24:34):
last two weeks. Because of the overtime and the physical
nature of the Chiefs game, and now they're hosting the
Niners and they go to Dallas next weekend as well.
It just feels like a rough, physical, mental spot for
the Eagles to be in where you have a Niners
team fresh healthy, circled this game on their calendar. Eagles

(01:24:56):
great season so far, great football team, even they lose
this game on a change. My pinon on the Eagles,
but it's a tough spot to be in for them.
I like Niners first half as one of my favorite
wagers this week. I know it's not something we put
onto our crack challenge, but like Niners first corter, Ninros
first half just come out smoking in this game because
they do look before this game for weeks for months now.

Speaker 5 (01:25:17):
Sure, yeah, this is a big, big spot for them
from a revenge standpoint. You know Philadelphia lifetime, well not lifetime,
but first half they had they were playing last year
was ridiculous how good they were in the first half.
But San fran may come out to offset that, like
you said, because of the situation on hand here, it's

(01:25:40):
all Philadelphia money now. Guys though, if you're betting the Eagles,
you're gonna lay juice for the most part, more than
one ten juice. But yet this game opened up but
one one and a half went up to Like I said,
I have a rare side on this game. I bet
early in the week. I bet it like Monday. I
laid a little bit minus one and a half actually,

(01:26:00):
but I laid a pretty big bet minus one and
a quarter on the money line and a rare spot
for me where I just seen Philadelphia last night plus
three even money. I actually got off some because I
thought it was a good spot for a middle and
a situation there minus a quarter and wow, minus a
quarter pick them and plus three even I would put

(01:26:21):
my bankroll, you know, not my bank I'd put a large, large,
large wager on both sides that if I can get it.
But now I see the game going back and forth
a little bit, and I even see some two and
a half's popping up there. I still like san France.
I think san fran Is, I think of the game
probably means a little bit more to San Fran. But

(01:26:43):
you know, it's tough, Like I say it every week,
it's tough playing in Philadelphia. Man, it's so tough. I mean,
this is the toughest fans in the world. I pity
any I pity a fool like mister says, who's in
Philadelphia with a San Fran you know, uniform on or
jersey on?

Speaker 6 (01:27:02):
And that's true.

Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
You know, you got to you know, it should be
fun and your your kid should be allowed to wear
a San Fran uniform if that's what he's rooting for.
But unfortunately, the one sitting across the country that you
can't do that is Philadelphia, South Philly.

Speaker 6 (01:27:15):
So we go.

Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
Well, you know, it's one of these games where I
feel like It's a big reputation game for Brock Purty
because he got hurt in the NFC Championship game. He's
leading the NFL in passer rating. He's at just over
one twelve, number one in the NFL, and this spot
being such a marquee matchup, huge spot where if he

(01:27:40):
puts up big numbers and they win. The Purty Police,
as I call him, you know, the people that just
will not let this go. If you like short changed
Brock party at any time in your lifetime, I'm gonna
let you know about it, and as loudly as I can.
He performed well again in week thirteen. Right, they're gonna

(01:28:00):
be all over you like Piranha's in the water. But
if he falters right, this is where it can swing
the other way. The people that are sick and tired
of hearing from the Purty police after weeks eleven and twelve,
If he falters against an Eagles defense that has been shaky,
it swings the other way, and it's like, oh, I
thought your guy was the laite. I thought he was

(01:28:21):
the man. Look at what he's doing now. This is
a huge spot for Brock Perty in particular, and we've
seen it before against the Bengals. Remember that game against
the Bengals at home for San Francisco, he had a
couple of late interceptions and faltered down the stretch. I
want to see what he does in particular today because
it sets up nicely for him. He has just got

(01:28:42):
to do what he typically does, manage the game well,
make some plays and not turn it over. He's done
a good job of that. This is a big spot
for him to take another step forward, and I think
he knows that.

Speaker 4 (01:28:54):
This is why I think today is a fast start
for the Niners. Right like they've been, they've been they
just they've been waiting for this to happen, right, They've
been waiting for this to happen, wait for this game
to happen. And maybe you say these too juice for us,
this situation, which is certainly possible that he's too excited
for the spot, too excited to sort of you know,
show that that he can win this type of game.

(01:29:14):
But again, the game was close early in Philly in
the playoff game, like you know, the teams are are
are fairly close, and so yeah, this is a big
like party hive game, you know, like the MVP for
this season. I don't think perty is gonna win still,
but the MVP vote can be certainly swayed based off
of this game today, whether it's hurts or whether it's pretty.

(01:29:36):
I still think Mahomes is a good I mean it
plus three fifty. I think for the MVP still sitting there,
if she writes and catch a football more often, he'll
win the MVP, I think again, But it does feel
like it's a defining game for a lot of those
things as well, MVP number one seed potentially, even though
the Niners are still a game back, there's a lot
of things that stake besides that.

Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
Yeah, no doubt, high stakes, huge steaks today. I wonder
if you're gonna start hearing this you mentioned it, cra
Maybe the Fugasey Eagles if they lose today.

Speaker 5 (01:30:04):
I just said them the most Spaghezi ten and one team.

Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
Well, that's true, that's true. That's different. I'm glad. Yeah,
that's different than saying they're just completely fake. But you
know as well as I do, they're good.

Speaker 5 (01:30:15):
They're good if.

Speaker 3 (01:30:16):
They lose, and they lose, you know, let's say convincingly,
and convincingly means like a touchdown ten points something north
of ten. There're gonna be a lot more people saying, yeah,
I can't quite buy this team. You will hear that
if that's what the end result is.

Speaker 5 (01:30:33):
Today they're playing think they're playing Dallas next week. Let
me let me tell you something something that we were
probably to work on a touch on if I mentioned
this just now. I just think, after watching Dallas a
couple of games, I think Dallas is my bet against
team in the playoffs when they get there, which they

(01:30:53):
obviously should get there, but I am looking forward to
bet against them.

Speaker 6 (01:30:56):
I don't think, uh, you.

Speaker 5 (01:30:58):
Know, I think exactly what people were saying, Dallas did
not beat all, you know, teams with winning records. After
seeing them struggle last week. Not that they should have lost,
but they easily could have lost that game to Seattle.
I just think that that's my bet against team. So
I'll be interested to see what happens next week Philadelphia Dallas.

(01:31:19):
And normally, let me just make sure normally you can
even get a line here on what philid yep here
it is, Wow, Dallas minus two and a half, right
all right, right now next week in at home versus Philadelphia.
So boy, I'll tell you God, it looks like a
nice little bye to plus three if I can get
it a by the plus three on Philly. But again,

(01:31:42):
today's game will depend on what that line will. We'll
do because that will move. If it's a big win
for Philly or a big win for San Fran, that
line will move. So we'll see what happens and party.
By the way, MVP is about ten to one, just
for him when Hurts is plus one eighty, Prescott plus

(01:32:03):
three seventy five, Mahmes plus four four fifty. Tough to
bet low odds like that, but I mean purty, so
pretty decent odds. So we'll see what happens here.

Speaker 3 (01:32:13):

Football Chiefs at the Packers. I mentioned do you fare
to fade Goliath? So if you dare do that, I'm
talking about Patrick Mahomes. Patrick Mahomes would be the Goliath
of NFL players, certainly NFL quarterbacks. And there's some Packers
money coming in here. And we all know this is

(01:33:39):
not just a Mahomes thing. It's a Chiefs thing. They
haven't done great covering when it's you know, over a
touchdown or thereabouts. So how about this from a point
spread perspective, Jeff, there's some Packers' money because they look
great in a standalone spot on Thanksgiving against the Lions,
and so some people are thinking, hey, that coupled with
the Chiefs don't tend to cover the spread a lot

(01:34:03):
when the points spread is inflated, maybe those two things
you're seeing cheese you know, are you seeing a cheesehead
here when you're talking about a side.

Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
This is a teaser side for me, guys, I don't
do it often with favorites down to the situation. I
like taking points typically in those situations. But I think
the Chiefs just go take them down to pick them right.
Any six point t's be done with it. Well, here's
the thing about the Chiefs, guys, defense is fabulous. Like
the Packers are going to score points in this game, right,
we know they struggle with times to score a bunch

(01:34:32):
of points, and they kind of cut the lines by
surprise last week. So let's say they score twenty points,
maybe they cover the six points if they score twenty, right,
the Chiefs get you know, twenty four points something like
that maybe. But guys, if the Chiefs get a wide receiver,
you catch the football. The offense turns into a good
offense again, and ray she Rice last week caught the football.

(01:34:54):
Now you're betting on that happening again, and if you're
taking the Chiefs in the situation. So I'm not saying
that that's the best bet act, but to me, put
the Chiefs in the tease and just be doing. They're
gonna win this game in my opinion, and that just
kind of saves you any sort of figure out how
many points did they need to win by?

Speaker 6 (01:35:10):
Who'd you teasing? Who did you tease him with?

Speaker 4 (01:35:13):
I did? I took I put the Titans up to
put the Titans up to seven? So I did Titans Chiefs?

Speaker 6 (01:35:22):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (01:35:22):
Yeah, I like teasing through the key numbers, not to
the key number, but uh, okay, so you got I.
I like Tennessee in that spot too, though. Yeah, Kansas
City seven seven. Since we've been on air, two Kansas
City has dropped a full point in any spots. I
mean there's actually four and a half on the screen

(01:35:43):
now and a four and a halfs and fives and
uh there's a couple five and a half bet MGMs
all five and a half. So Kansas City opened up
at seven, unbelievably opened up at seven. Do you want
to you want to break in. Do we have a
we have a break.

Speaker 4 (01:35:57):
Yeah, let's go to tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:35:58):
White breaking it, breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 9 (01:36:06):
The final four for the college football Playoff is set.
Your number one seed, the thirteen to O Michigan wolver Raine,
number two, the number thirteen to oh Washington Huskies. That
got interesting. In three and four, you'll have the Texas
Longhorns in the three spot, Alabama and the four spot
Florida State and Georgia outside looking in.

Speaker 4 (01:36:24):
There you have it, guys, that is the college football Playoff.
That Oh my god, Wow, sorry for making that noise.
I'm shocked. I disagree with this.

Speaker 5 (01:36:35):
Competely are you shocked up? Because you know he.

Speaker 4 (01:36:38):
Look, man, the point of the sport is to win
football games.

Speaker 6 (01:36:43):
That's the point of the sport.

Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
Is to win football games. I want to stay within
thirteen and oh I don't care how the Power five schedule.
They beat LSU, they beat other teams like they beat
good football teams. I can't believe that. I am I
can't believe I did it.

Speaker 3 (01:37:02):
You know, I don't like it, but I can certainly
believe it. I thought that's what they would do, was
they looked at Florida State last night, and they're like,
oh my gosh, you barely beat Louisville and it was
this grinded out, low scoring game. You're gonna have your
second string quarterback at best, that's what they thought. I
don't like it at all either. But they saw Bama

(01:37:23):
look great and take down the number one team.

Speaker 4 (01:37:25):
And I think Bama's gonna right now. I would put
I take bam whatever plus whatever points and that might
be a pick up against Michigan. So was Michigan minus
two Okay, yeah, I think I think Bama will be
I think Bama would be hammered in a heartbeat in
that situation. And then Washington Texas I saw was Texas
favored by two. So how you have the best, like,

(01:37:46):
from a points spread perspective, the closest matches we've had
in a semi final in years? Right to me? That
four it's like Michigan State Cincinnati and they they're they're,
you know, they're they're getting run out the building. I
can't believe they did it. Guys. I'm I'm sorry for
that noise I made.

Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Jos I believe a man. I just don't like it,
that's all. And let me ask you this. I think,
I think reputation. I think the past has a lot
to do with the president in terms of the way
the committee thinks about this. Are you telling me if
Florida State at thirteen to zero, if they had the
track record of Nick Saban and Alabama and it's the

(01:38:28):
same situation their star quarterback is out. I don't think
there's any way they're on the outside looking in. And
that's what I don't like. When this becomes bigger than
twenty twenty three and we're thinking about the past decade
of Alabama's success with Nick Saban, I don't like that
that gives them an edge when it comes to who
gets into the twenty twenty three College Football Playoff. I

(01:38:49):
don't like that at all. I don't know if you
guys look at it that way, but I do. I
think that the brand name, the track record of success
with Alabama, I think that matters here and now, not
just Florida State's quarterback being out.

Speaker 5 (01:39:03):
Yeah, does money come into play here?

Speaker 6 (01:39:05):
It is it?

Speaker 5 (01:39:05):
Is it a better uh, a better decision financially for
for networks, for the leagues, for the you know, you
just wonder you know, I mean, I just you gotta
really I really didn't until until it was officially announced.
I didn't feel bad for like anyone. Now I actually
feel bad for the kids, man. I mean, they got

(01:39:26):
to be so deflated sitting there.

Speaker 3 (01:39:28):
Think about that too. From Jordan Travis's point of view,
it's not bad enough that he got hurt and this
is the end of his Florida State career. He knows
that something that just happened. He wasn't at fault at all.
He just got injured, but he knows that has cost
his team a playoff. Berth, how crazy is that? You

(01:39:50):
didn't do anything wrong. He didn't make the bad a
bad read and throw an interception, make a stupid decision.
He got hurt and that's what's keeping Florida State out.

Speaker 6 (01:40:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
It puts a lot of weight on him, right.

Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
Yeah, absolutely, it does more. That's bad and that he
got hurt. Now this is on top of it. That's brutal, man,
That's rough, no doubt.

Speaker 5 (01:40:12):
All Right, we were talking about the Kansas City Green
Bay game. We were kind of finished. We just need
to I guess, uh, yeah, we were kind of finished.
We're just saying the Packers coming off of their biggest
winning the season now facing the eight and three Chiefs team,
and how the money is coming in on the on
Green Bay. The four and a half's now out here
in Vegas, fives everywhere, a couple five and a half's left,

(01:40:33):
but some a lot of lots of Green Bay money
coming in. Jordan Love kind of been feasts for famine
all year. Last week he had a big feast on
Thanksgiving Day. So let's see what happens is this is actually,
this is going to be a good Sunday night game. Though,
this is this will this will probably be a better
game than than people think.

Speaker 6 (01:40:51):
So let's see.

Speaker 3 (01:40:52):
How about primetime unders over there? Crack, I'm on the
season so.

Speaker 6 (01:40:58):
Wow, wow it is.

Speaker 5 (01:40:59):
And you know, like Christian said that, you have the
public still playing the over. So the books are having
their own feast every every week, every week, every primetime game.

Speaker 3 (01:41:08):
I wonder what trend Vegas would like you not to
be aware of the most at right or they just
kind of you know, how they put out those winning
parlay bets, like hey, look at this guy, he just
hit his ten leg parlay. Like read between the lines,
bet parlays, bet parlays. It's good for us. I wonder
what they don't want you to be aware of.

Speaker 6 (01:41:29):
You know, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:41:30):
I have a collection bucket that I go out in
front of a casino usually once a year I put it.
I have a nice collection bucket. I stand out there
and I put Bookmaker's pension fund. I haven't had to
do it. You know, they haven't really cried too much.
They were about to cry last week when a lot
of the favors were winning, but then they got lucky
on you know, and and you know, like like you
told him right to his face.

Speaker 6 (01:41:51):
I loved it.

Speaker 5 (01:41:52):
God protects the book Maker. Yeah, that was great, good.

Speaker 3 (01:41:56):
Good, Okay, let's toss it over to our main man,
Martin Wise. One great job with the immaculate grid knowledge
at the end of your update with Michael Bennett played
for the Patriots and the Eagles. Nicely done. And how
about this to Martin, Your Michigan Wolverines. They don't get
Florida State with the backup quarterback. They get Bama in

(01:42:18):
the semi final. That's a great sick about it.

Speaker 9 (01:42:24):
The first time Michigan has been good in like half
a trillion years, and that actually has a shot the
way this thing.

Speaker 4 (01:42:30):
We got to go against Nick Saban. That's awesome. I
can't wait.

Speaker 9 (01:42:34):
No but no, congratulations to the Alaba critical side college football.

Speaker 4 (01:42:39):
The final four is set.

Speaker 9 (01:42:40):
You got Michigan number one, washed At number two, Texas
number three, Alabama number four, Georgia Florida State outside looking
in Florida State undefeated in a pop pop conference. Apparently
the committee said, who cares. Patriots quarterback Bailey's appy. We'll
get the start today against the Chargers. Mac Jones to
the bench. Keenan Allen will also playing that game, fighting
through a quad injury. Chris Godwin has a neck injury.

(01:43:02):
Likely to play though as long as he feels good
in pregame warm up. Jac Horn Jeremy Chin for the
Panthers definitely going to play in the defensive backfield there.
Cardinals tight end Trade McBride questionable today with a groin.
Marquise Brown with that heel, both expected to play against Pittsburgh.
Chris Olave clear concussive protocol, expected to play against Detroit.
Detroit will be without at linebacker Alex Angeloni. Jacko McKinnon

(01:43:24):
also missing today against the Packers. Chiefs running back he's
got a groin injury, and the Browns elevated quarterback Joe
Flacco from the practice squad, who he was not on
that same practice squad just two three weeks ago. He'll
be starting today in Los Angeles against the Rams and
the Athletics.

Speaker 4 (01:43:40):
Diana Russini. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants to see the.

Speaker 9 (01:43:43):
Tush push removed from the game next season. Breise Hall
expected to play through a hamstring injury against the Falcons
today and.

Speaker 4 (01:43:51):
To start with Tim Boyle for the Jets.

Speaker 9 (01:43:54):
And Aaron Rodgers reported earlier by Ian Rappaport unlikely to
return this season, which everybody in the world have known
because he towards the Tilly's Week one.

Speaker 4 (01:44:02):
Guys, sorry, he just science doesn't work that way.

Speaker 9 (01:44:05):
But back to you guys, the Aaron very quickly Aaron
Rodgers thing.

Speaker 4 (01:44:10):
Has there been a guy who needs to hear his
name more in the media in our in our lifetime?

Speaker 3 (01:44:18):
Who Lebron James?

Speaker 4 (01:44:20):
Okay, fine, I did see he got he got the
Houston coach toss last night from the basketball game. But nonetheless,
like Rogers, was never coming back ever. Ever, he just
wants the attention of saying he could have come back.
They said, this week is his window opened up? He

(01:44:41):
took no team reps, he just did individual drills. So
he's not even remotely close to even preparing to play
for a football game, let alone play a football game.
The article said, he's not even clear to do like
football activities. He's just clear to like throw a football. Like,
what are we doing? Guys? Why are we continuing to
give him the tension of this knowing he's never going

(01:45:03):
to play. He had surgery like eighty two days ago.
What are we doing? He's not playing this season?

Speaker 5 (01:45:10):
Maybe he was motivational for the Jet players or something.

Speaker 6 (01:45:14):
Crack.

Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
Have you seen the Jets play? Did you watch for
I know you don't watch all the games you watch
Friday night, but ey chance, did you watch that game?
Did it help to motivate them on the hail? Mary?

Speaker 5 (01:45:21):
Did it motivate them all? Mary?

Speaker 4 (01:45:25):
Organ grad Javon Holland though, So I'll take that. Oh wow, So, like,
what what do we do with this Rogers thing? Back
to Brian? You made the back to CFP thing very quickly.
I know it's a NFL show. Your point about Jordan Travis.
I feel bad for that kid man, because you're now
you're saying the committee is saying because he got hurt,

(01:45:45):
not of his own doing that. Now you're not in
the playoffs, it's it's your point right to him. Again,
not has followed all and say, yet you're the reason
why kid broke his leg, was cheering his team on
last night. Feels terrible about a situation, obviously, and now
quote unquote he's the reason why they're in a playoff. Yep.

Speaker 6 (01:46:05):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (01:46:05):
You know some early lines here, guys a Michigan minus
two and a half over Alabama and Texas minus four
and a half over Washington.

Speaker 3 (01:46:13):
Wow, that now that's an interesting line. Still no love
for Washington. Yeah, they pulled off this. Yeah, what's the number?

Speaker 5 (01:46:20):
Crack you said, Uh, Texas minus four and a half,
sixty two and a half.

Speaker 6 (01:46:23):
I'm no total.

Speaker 4 (01:46:24):
Here's a about Washington. Let's be clear about this. They
have won twenty straight games. They have won eleven of
those games by eight points or less. They have won
eight straight games, nine straight by ten points or less. Crack, right, Yeah,
the entire conference slate. Sorry, They beat col in the
first conference game by fifty two thirty something like that.

(01:46:48):
Since then, they've won every game by ten points or less.
Ten points are less? Right, Like their sp plus is
their eleventh in country at sp plus, Like their defense
is forty fifth in efficiency, like they're not Like that
eventually ends. Right, you don't win close games every single time,
I expect to do it now. I give them credit
for getting to the spot by one of those close games. Obviously,

(01:47:09):
I would love if they they beat Organ by three
three times in this twenty game win streak. I wish
Organ would have won one of those games. If they didn't,
that's why they're not getting the attention from the sharps.

Speaker 5 (01:47:21):
So you like Texas money line.

Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
I would honestly take washingt pus the points where they're
playing all that, here's why. Okay, what crack? What is
the Is there a number on that yet? The total?
I know there's probably not sixty yea.

Speaker 6 (01:47:38):
And a half. It was gonna get five seconds.

Speaker 4 (01:47:41):
This is gonna get is he gets pounded over, it's
gonna be hit so high. I bet it closes. What's that?
And right now to the and a half? Yep, I bet
it closing their seventy Wow, it's gonna be pounded.

Speaker 6 (01:47:51):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:47:52):
Look, Texas is past defense not great and Washington's pass
defense not great either. They're both not they can't They're
both not great on defense. Now, Texas front seven is
really good, but Washing has three pro wide receivers. I
bet this thing gets hammered to the moon by the
time January first shows up.

Speaker 5 (01:48:10):
Wow, And I'm watching the screen light up like a
Christmas tree here, guys, just to let you know, it's
over it, over it. Really No, it's actually it's it's
nothing but Texas and over money right now sixty four.

Speaker 6 (01:48:21):
Now there's you know, maybe.

Speaker 5 (01:48:23):
Five sports books that have this up, so it's it's
Texas and over.

Speaker 3 (01:48:27):
So and that might be that might end up being
the correct side, but it's it's just such a knee
jerk reaction. You just saw Michael Pennix and Washington do
what they did against Oregon. You saw quinn Ewers go
freaking ballistic yesterday against Oklahoma State, and you're like, who's
gonna stop who? That might be the better side, but

(01:48:47):
I don't know, man, we'll see. We'll have a lot
of time for that. How about late line movement for
today in the NFL? What's catching your eye? What's caught
my eye the most is all this Carolina money. How
do we explain is there a big Tampa Bay injury?
Is this just because Carolina doesn't have Frank Reich anymore?

Speaker 4 (01:49:06):
Like?

Speaker 3 (01:49:06):
Why is Tampa only favored by three?

Speaker 5 (01:49:08):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:49:10):
I don't know. I'm not on Tampa. I mean, I'm
not on I'm not either. I almost put Tampa in
my five for today, So I didn't do that because
I mean the numbers three now it's a lot different
than it was earlier. I might change my mind based
on some of how the numbers end up being Internet
segment guys. But yeah, I uh, I don't get it.
Like the Panthers the coaching, that doesn't change who they are.

(01:49:31):
And they also fired their their quarterback coach, the running
back coach. They're not good. They're just not there. And
Tampa Bay is not great either, but there they have
impact players, like who is the Panthers Mike Evans? You
know who is the Panthers? Any one of the defensive
linemen and linebackers. I guess Brian Burns is right. They
don't have impact players of Panthers don't outside of like

(01:49:54):
Brian Burns. That's it.

Speaker 3 (01:49:57):
Yeah, I know it. And this is I don't know
if I can get this. I had to get the
end of the show last week to get our picks.
I didn't write them down in real time, and I
took this from last week. Jeff, check this out here
you go.

Speaker 4 (01:50:10):
The Panthers Hennessey was one of the ones that took
I took last year.

Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
Yeah, he just faded Carolina.

Speaker 5 (01:50:19):
Yet yet there's been all Panthers money all week six
and a half.

Speaker 6 (01:50:22):
I might have to go back to it, honestly, down
the three.

Speaker 3 (01:50:25):
You might have to go back to it, might have
to might be the right side over there. Everything else
has just moved a bit. There's some Patriots money right again.

Speaker 5 (01:50:35):
Definitely definite Patriot money. I'm looking at a live on
screen guys. Definite Patriot money, Definite Green Bay money. And
it looks like, believe it or not, I'm gonna say,
the biggest move since we.

Speaker 6 (01:50:47):
Come on air.

Speaker 5 (01:50:48):
Uh maybe not points wise wise, but money wise coming
in is on the Rams. I'm sorry, not the Rams,
I'm sorry. On Cleveland against the Rams. It was fours
and four and a half when we can on air.

Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
Down to three and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:51:03):
Dog lay a quarter. I mean, I just this is
so tough to get behind this quarterback, and you know,
maybe a way to go at it, like you guys said.
One of you guys said, under one, maybe eight and
a half yards. So maybe it's Jeff, but it just
seems like something's fishy. It's just like I said, it's

(01:51:23):
gonna be the it's gonna be the later game that
no one's gonna care about. Everyone's gonna have their eyes
on San fran Philly. But it is getting a lot
of Cleveland money, a lot of Cleveland.

Speaker 6 (01:51:31):
Money coming in.

Speaker 5 (01:51:32):
Even as we speak, there are some red lights going
on in front of me with people taking Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (01:51:38):
So there you go. Okay, coming up next, the moment
of truth, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran
Bill Krackenberger Crack from crack wings dot com sports handicapper.
I'm Brian No. It's the Crack Challenge. Jeff and I
will have five picks against the spread right before kickoff.
Not easy, all right, but we to be great, right

(01:52:01):
Crack all right. Position he's putting us in, also, Crack,
We'll have his best bet. A lot of picks for you.
Right around the corner. It is Fox Sports Radios countdown
to kickoff. Presented by bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios.
Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. Props to the crew,
our trusted producer Bo Benson, Iowa Sam with us this

(01:52:24):
morning technical producer Martin Weiss doing a great job on
the updates, counting down the hours and days until Bama
takes on as Michigan Wolverines. Top of the hour. Keep
it locked right here, Little Red Zone Radio, Steve Hartman,
Rich Ornberger, They'll have you covered in week thirteen of
the NFL and get their reaction to the college football

(01:52:46):
playoff final four teams. Keep it locked right here on
Fox Sports Radio. Okay, we have got a bushel of
picks for you. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
Five games against the spread.

Speaker 2 (01:52:59):
We call the Crack Challenge.

Speaker 3 (01:53:03):
All right, we'll start with you, mister Schwartz. What are
you thinking today?

Speaker 4 (01:53:07):
All right, let's pull up some current lines. Are just
to just to have these up. Okay, So current lines.
I have Titans plus one. I have Arizona. We haven't
talked much about that game, but I have him plus what.
I have six and a half plus six this exact
moment plus six. I'll take Arizona here. Steelers is a
home favorite. Just no bueno, no chance. Never Titians minus

(01:53:28):
the three. I have the.

Speaker 3 (01:53:30):
Rams minus three Texas, Texas.

Speaker 4 (01:53:36):
I have Rams minus three and a half. Oh boy,
Now the question I have is I have Niners minus
two and a half in real life.

Speaker 6 (01:53:45):
Can't have that in there.

Speaker 4 (01:53:48):
Give me give me a you know, give me Niners
minus three. Two people that I fade are on Eagles
plus three, and I think that's like a double whammy.
So I'll think Niners minus three. Anyways, let's do it.

Speaker 3 (01:54:00):
But this is it's pretty crazy. So let me make
sure I've got San Francisco. I've got the Rams, I've
got Tennessee, I've got Arizona or four for four on
agreement over here and the one it's not a disagreement,
I just go with a different game. I'll take Tampa
minus three. But four of the five were on the

(01:54:23):
same side.

Speaker 6 (01:54:24):
Chef.

Speaker 4 (01:54:25):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:54:27):
The couple of times that we've agreed hasn't been great.
I don't know what our overall record is when we
do agree, but I'm with you on four of those
five games. Pretty interesting right there. All right, more picks,
Let's do this.

Speaker 4 (01:54:42):
Rapid fire, all.

Speaker 3 (01:54:44):
Right, crack. We'll start with you. What's one of the picks?
You like a lot ugly game?

Speaker 5 (01:54:48):
Here, Chargers New England under let's go under to total.

Speaker 6 (01:54:51):
It's been moving and moving and moving.

Speaker 5 (01:54:53):
But I still like the under so Chargers doing under
thirty eight and a half, Okay, I.

Speaker 4 (01:55:00):
Like the Desert Ridder under one and a half. The
staff are over rushing yards and I really like that
Tennessee wager. And I really think that the Tampa minus
three is. I didn't put it in here, but like
I just I probably should have. I just didn't know
which one to take out camp they stick, what do
you want?

Speaker 6 (01:55:16):
Stinks?

Speaker 4 (01:55:17):
The panther stick.

Speaker 3 (01:55:20):
Yeah, they're really bad. You know what, Let me let
me go back to the well here, just for symmetry. Right,
you're going with the Desmond Ridder under passing yards and
I like that. I'll take the Desmond Ridder over rushing
yards sixteen and a half. I think against the Jets
good pass rush. He's gonna tuck it and run because

(01:55:41):
that's what he does is a lot better than throwing it.
So I'll take the Ridder rushing prop bet right there.
Not as fun to root for as the stafford rushing
over but I'll roll with Ridder over here. Road Ridder
not good throwing it, hopefully good running it. I would
save the best for last. Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:56:00):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 3 (01:56:05):
All right, crack, what is it?

Speaker 6 (01:56:06):
Man?

Speaker 5 (01:56:07):
Not gonna make me popular in South Philly. But we
are all on the same side here. It looks like
and bet MGM's got a good money line. This game
has been dropping a lot of Philly money coming in,
as went on air, san Fran money line. I laid
a dollar and a quarter. I think it's still good.
Dollar fifty is a really good line at bet MGM.
So there we go, san Fran money line.

Speaker 3 (01:56:29):
Sand We're all on the Niners.

Speaker 4 (01:56:31):
Here first half two?

Speaker 3 (01:56:34):
Yeah, all right, there we go, heavy Philly fade. It's
more of them, guys.

Speaker 6 (01:56:37):
Don't take me down.

Speaker 5 (01:56:39):
I'm just kidding. Jeff's right though, he said something about
a bet against. It's always it's just as good finding
a bet against person to bet against then to bet
with a bad handicapper.

Speaker 6 (01:56:48):
Jeff's right, Philly.

Speaker 4 (01:56:50):
The two that I automatically fade are both of the
Eagles today.

Speaker 6 (01:56:53):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:56:54):
Oh there that makes me feel better. Absolutely all right,
everybody enjoyed Week thirteen. At you Soon, bob Ba Fay
